In short
Episode topic: NFL roster and contract news (Matthew Stafford extension; Joe Burrow/Bengals roster outlook) plus a nutrition/fitness discussion about removing “seed oils,” fat-carb choices, and recovery; also includes sports talk about NBA playoff support and effort.
Guests
No named guests appear in the transcript. The episode is a two-host conversation (one repeatedly addressed as “Deebo” and the other as “Joe”).
Guest backgrounds (from what’s said)
“Joe Burrow” and “Matthew Stafford” are discussed as players, not guests. “Deebo” and “Joe” are hosts; “Deebo” references playing for the Steelers and describes team fitness testing (hamstring imbalance checks) and staff practices.
Key claims
- Burrow: Bengals have the most talented roster since he’s been there; 48/50+ touchdowns are “doable” if he stays upright and healthy.
- Titans coach Robert Saleh: removed seed oils during a nutrition overhaul.
- Nutrition argument: avoid seed oils; animal fats are “good”; carbs + fat compound; keto-style eating helps burn fat.
- Stafford extension is “deserved” and keeps him among top-paid QBs.
Notable examples
- Burrow cites keeping Chase and Tee Higgins plus defensive additions.
- Seed-oil debate contrasts “animal fat” (butter, lard, tallow, bacon grease) vs olive oil/coconut oil.
- Stafford extension figures: one-year, $55M, up to $60M; two years tied with up to $105M remaining.

2:59James Harrison:Everything's a little looser, brighter. One plan turns into another. You hear something, you stay a little longer. Next thing you know, you're somewhere you didn't plan to be. It's those in-between moments. That's where the ideas hit. Conversations stretch out. Little memories sneak up on you. Sometimes, it's just about what's in your hand. that color that chill the new tropical butterfly refresher from starbucks guava and passion fruit flavors with mango pineapple flavored pearls yeah that feels like summer before you even taste it funny how one small stop becomes the best part of the day start your summer rhythm with starbucks try the new tropical butterfly refresher from starbucks let's go on over here to cincinnati man Joe Burrell raves about Bengals most talented roster in his career now look before we play this sound don't play it yet I let clickbait get me I let the clickbait get me and I ain't gonna lie to you I was tripping I was about to go off I was about to go off I thought Joe I thought when I saw it you know I got a little dyslexia too so when I saw it I thought he said he was gonna throw 48 touchdowns and break the record.
4:18James Harrison:And, you know, like it was a statement or something. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? So, you know, me, I was about to pull my olive branch back, you know. On bringing on, letting him come over to you. Yeah. Yeah. You know, I've been holding that thing out to him like this, man. Come on over here. You know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, you for sure. But this is what he said. This is what he said. Listen to what he said. Okay. You saw what this roster looked like in 2021, albeit you were young, but that was a Super Bowl roster. Do you think what you see right now from this organization and in that locker room is the Super Bowl roster?
4:50I think this is the most talented roster that we've had since I've been here. 47 away. 48 from breaking. Doable. Thanks, Joe.
5:05James Harrison:See, Joe, that's a lot easier to deal with. Yeah. You know? Doable. Yeah. I can respect that word. I can respect doable. You know what I'm saying? Again, Joe, words. Words mean things. Okay? Uh-huh. Doable. Meaning it's something that can be done. It's not going to be easy. It's not a given. It's something that could be done. But the reason he's saying it's doable, Joe, is because he's sitting back still. He's saying, I like what they done did over here to get these pieces here and there. but what y 'all done got me to keep me upright what y 'all done did to make sure I could stay safe in the pocket it's doable if you can keep me upright and clean that's what he's saying but I will say this it's doable but I don't know how many of them you think you gonna get against them Pittsburgh Steelers because nephew ain't having it.
6:16James Harrison:Lil Peasy ain't having that, okay? Ain't going for that. I'm going to start calling Lil Peasy, Lil Big Peasy, because he bigger than you now, Peasy. Your son bigger than you now. He taller. He taller. He taller for sure. Hey, hey, he might be bigger too now. I'm trying to tell you, Peasy done slimmed down. Peasy done slimmed down. He done lost some height. Peasy about an inch taller than me. You know what I'm saying? He might be 6 '1", you know what I'm saying? Mm-hmm. You know, he getting up there, I think, you know, he about 50-something, you know, you know what I'm saying? About 10 years older than me, he got to be about 52, 53, something like that, 41, 42.
6:53James Harrison:Yeah. So, listen. Joe Burrow, I'm going to tell you this. Hey, it's doable. It's doable. You better do it in them other 15 games. You know why Joe Burrow said that, though? They bring a talent that he still got his boy. he's still got Jamar Chase. He's still got T. Higgins. When they bring in more talent, he's talking about probably on the defensive side of the ball with some talented players. And if I'm Joe Burrow and you're asking me, if I'm out there healthy and I still got my two dogs out there, I believe in me. I believe in them. I believe in Jamar Chase. I believe in T. Higgins. Now, like you said, can I be upright?
7:31James Harrison:It's doable if this line is going to be able to protect for me. But if I'm out there healthy and I got Higgins, I got Jamar Chase and I'm standing on my 10 toes, it's doable. I can throw 50 touchdowns. You know what I'm saying? I did. Like, Joe Burrow, honestly, just popping his. Like, if I see the roster, I got these dudes with me. Okay, the talent on the defense, they cool. I can throw 50. It's doable. You know what I'm saying? It's doable. You know what I'm saying? It's doable. You know what I'm saying? Like, I'm loving his just like. Doable ain't. Hey, we're getting 50. I'm about to throw 50.
8:02James Harrison:Just wait. Doable ain't. Doable ain't. I'm about to throw 50. But just doable is I'm out here. I'm healthy. I'm seeing what we got on the squad. Doable. Like, that's just gangster. I want my quarterback to be talking. He's talking about 48 touchdowns. He's not talking about like. He's talking about nothing light. He ain't talking about nothing light now. You know what I'm saying? I feel like that's just Joe Burrow. You know what I'm saying? Looking around. Yeah, I like what we did on defense. We got Dexter Lawrence. We got some talent. I think this is the most talented roster we got. 48. Doable.
8:32James Harrison:I'm like, oh, this man got this way. I like it, Joe. I like it, Joe. For sure. You know what I'm saying? It's smooth. That made me like Joe even more. He ain't even... Bro, and it was his demeanor. He's just chilling. He's sitting there answering their questions. I think it's the most talented roster we got. We're going 48. Doable. Go ahead, Joe. I just go out there, stay healthy, and pop that, and just do what you got to go through. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Hey, we got one year. Go ahead and start working with what you need to do. Get things set up. Go ahead. And then you can come on over here.
9:06James Harrison:You know what I'm saying? Aaron about to get seven. Aaron about to get seven. You come over here and you get eight. Right on there. Back to back. Yep. Ain't nothing wrong with it, Joe. Joe Burrow. I'll let you play now. We found the 25 for A-Rod. You know we can find 60 for Joe. Joe, I'll let you play. Yeah, come on. Mr. Brown, appreciate you. You know where to go to? We're going to see. It's going to be a long, good old AFC. We're going to see a lot of Joe. We're going to see a lot of Joe. Still going to see him. Joe going to see a lot of the Stillers. And the Browns. Up close and personal. You know what I'm saying?
9:54James Harrison:Titans head coach Robert Sala said, one of the first moves the team made in the nutrition overhaul was removing all seed oils from the building. Okay, Debo, what's up with this? What's up with the seed oils? You let me know. Tell the people how big this is. So let's listen to what he said first, and now I'm going to hit him with a little bit of knowledge. A little bit. Yeah, no, 100%. You know, I thought one of the first things I think we did here is get rid of all the seed oils in the building, which I think the players appreciate. I know they've, we've, you know, Miss Amy has allowed us to attack the budget and get the players a better variety.
10:36I think our, I'll put our staff, and I mean, I've been in six different buildings, and I put the staff up there with the best of them. I mean, the product they put out in the cafeteria daily is outstanding.
10:54James Harrison:So, the seed oil thing is kind of, yeah, not here nor there. But depending on what research you're looking at, whatever, how you want to go. So it's just the whole nutrition overhaul, what you're talking about. Yeah, yeah. So basically, C-Dawes has the possibility of being bad for you or whatever it may be. My thing is this. I use fat, real fat. I use butter. I use lard, beef tallow. I would take the bacon grease from my bacon I done made and cook my eggs in it. Okay. Any kind of animal fat is cool. Olive oil and some coconut oil. But, I mean, getting rid of seed oils, I think, helps essentially.
11:39James Harrison:But, again, as he said, it's the, like, where are your other sources? Are they clean? Are your other sources clean? Like your meat, like where are you getting that from? Is it natural? All the other stuff. Like is the other foods that you're feeding them like super refined with other things that got cooked in seed oils through the process and da, da, da, da. But the biggest thing for me is the combination of putting together fats and carbs. Like eating carbs with fat. So when you eat fat and carbs together, like you're compounding. Because if you don't burn off those carbs, they turn into fat.
12:16James Harrison:Okay. So now you're eating fat already there. You didn't burn off the carbs. So now you're stacking fat on top of the fat that you already ate. so like what you got to do is if you don't get your body to where it can like or you can get to where you can burn all the carbs off then what you want to do is like just go i go like high fat like moderate protein so basically it's like keto so what you're doing is i'm giving my body no carbs to fuel itself so i'm telling my body use the fat everybody's so worried like oh you got to eat carbs for the industry. No, you don't. Everybody got enough fat on them to survive.
12:55James Harrison:If you're eating fat, your body is going to switch over to burning fat. That's like ketosis that gets you in ketogenics. You start burning a whole bunch of fat. That's why you see a lot of people that go into the keto diets and they lose all this fat because their body switches over to burning fat because you're not giving it carbs. 16:54James Harrison:So for your body to get to where you're burning fat, you got to burn whatever carbs you ate already that day just to get to the fat stores. You're not giving your body carbs, then you're already in the fat stores because you're feeding your body fat. And it's like, yo, it's just going to burn that all day. Like at some point, though, I will say this. If you do it long enough, you go get to a low enough body fat where you're going to have to start eating carbs. Like super top athletes and all that. Yes, they need carbs. But if you're a dude and your body fat is sitting above, you know, 15, double-digit percent, you don't need carbs.
17:28James Harrison:That's just your mind. Your body got enough fat on it, and if you feed it, you're going to survive. Until you get into single digits, you don't need to worry about eating no carbs, man. Like, oh, I can't do this. I can't lose weight. It's this and that. dude just like eat straight protein and eat fat and when you're saying eat fat good fat good fat like what's good give me good fats avocados uh-huh um olive oil okay butter dude real butter not more real butter like beef tallow all that bro like okay all the fat like any type of animal fat. Eat all the meat you want. Yes. Like, I don't eat, I don't measure no meat.
18:18Yep.
18:19James Harrison:Protein. Protein. All protein. All protein, bro. If it flies, swims, or runs, I eat as much of it as I want. Boom. Like, it don't matter. Okay. And then, like, the rest, like, heavy, like, heavy cream. like I take and put like like heavy whipping cream like in my coffee like stuff like that like just like instead of the just I'm going heavy like with everything like the low fat yogurt this and that no yogurt the whole kitten caboodle like how do you find a diet cow you don't you don't find a 2 % cow it's a whole cow they process that shit to get that to where it's at use chemicals like come on It's a whole cow.
19:09James Harrison:Whole milk. It's a whole cow. That's funny. Yeah, bro. So he moving around. He doing the whole thing. Dude, this is the problem. So you want to go and say, I got a Formula One car. And in this Formula One car, I'm going to put this 87 octane. And you think it's going to run with the rest of them boys? No. running on 100 and something, 200 something octane, whatever it may be. No. You got to fuel it with the right thing. You can have the coldest engine around, dude. At some point, if you don't fuel that machine with the correct stuff, it's going to gunk up and it's not going to work anymore. Your gunking up is getting older.
19:55James Harrison:And as you don't feed your body the right things, it don't perform the same way. That's why, you see, when you first start playing, when you're in college, bro, you could go out, do this, do that, man, and come back in. Man, that first time you hit that 30 and you go and do this, do that. And you're like, Ooh, man, it's taking me about a half day longer to recover. It used to be I could go straight back to it. And as you get older, it takes longer and longer. And that's why I've been telling people like, yo, the easiest way to get in shape is to never get out of shape. You never take off more time than you necessarily need to without at least being actively inactive.
20:31James Harrison:If you don't do nothing but go and walk. And that's the thing too, Debo, it's the consistency. People always like, I'm going to go seven days a week. Listen, listen, listen. Just do every other day and do it. You know what I'm saying? I'm going to go and work out for two hours a day. I'm like, no. Do 35, 40 minutes every other day and then do that. Get consistent with it. And then you can add in something. Add a day. Add a day. You can add a day. But you just can't start off with five days. I'm going to do five days a week. and then you missed the third day. Now you're like, oh, I messed myself up.
21:03James Harrison:No, no, no. Give yourself something tangible. Recovery? Recovery, yes. Give yourself a recovery day. So real talk of being able to be like, no, I'm going to do 30 minutes every other day for a month. Then you get that. Then you start getting the little stuff. Then you're like, all right, I'm going to add me in today. So just the people start, I'm going to go hard. No, you're not. You just can't go from zero to 100. Give yourself some breaks. Especially not when you get older, buddy. Yes, man. Like, young, you could go do that. You could fight through some soreness and all that. You know what I'm saying?
21:35James Harrison:You got youth on your side. You could do a little bit of that. But people are like, man, I've been out of it so long, man. You know, I ain't really worked out in the last, you know, 10, 15 years. Bro, your ass and tear there talking about you going five days a week. Uh-uh. One day on, one day off. One day on, one day off until you get to where you're not sore anymore. Then you could go in two days. One day off. Two days, one day off. Make sure you build up to it. You can't just jump in the fire. And there's that part. Don't run in this thing and just all of a sudden think you about to just work on the— You could do body weight.
22:09James Harrison:Body weight stuff is crazy. When you're doing a lot of core, a lot of just abs, a lot of that stuff, you'll be sitting there sweating crazily, and that's what you need to do. Just don't think, I'm going to go get under the bench. I'm trying to do curls. No, no, no. Get your core. Get your man—you got to work the little parts. You know what I'm saying? So just simple stuff, and that's going to get you going. Incline walk, Joe. The incline walk that I do every day, dude. That will burn off. You had me sweating bullets. You thought we was just going for a walk. I thought we was going for a walk. You said we're going to walk for an hour.
22:44James Harrison:I said, I don't care what happens. I don't care how messed up I am. I can walk for an hour. That thing had us incline. We had us turn around. when it hit 30 minutes and I started breathing crazy hard and I was just sweating, just dripping on the job. I'm like, oh, yeah, now I got to turn it up and not let myself down. I'm not stopping. I'm not stopping, but we working. We not walking no more. For sure. For sure. For sure. Brother, I guess their quarterback, Cam Ward, says he lost 10 pounds this offseason. Ward says, I think it'll help me with durability, just being faster, getting up in the pocket and trying to play my speed.
23:25James Harrison:I watch my diet more, continue to have more cardio, just work on my body. Just now here, just now here and when I'm away from the building.
23:40James Harrison:Dang, sound like everybody doing something. They moving everything over. Like the night is doing big things over there. They understanding the whole concept. Yo, you know what the crazy thing is? A lot of these coaches, a lot of these teams, I think it's just like the NFL in general, maybe the ownership, just don't understand the concept of what you could get out of your players if you give them the correct things to fuel their body and recover their body. Like, when I was in Cincinnati, bro, they was eating Airmark. The stadium food was making the food, like, for the team. I couldn't believe it, bro.

24:14James Harrison:Yeah. Like, I couldn't believe it. like it was the craziest thing ever like cold cuts and all that i don't know i don't know if you look at it you got like the same way we talk about the field all the time is the same way like ownership if they really looked at it like as people what do i need to make my investment better if i'm giving these dudes the good food instead of giving them subway it's the it's the little things of where organizations are taking care of nutrition making sure they're getting them the shakes making sure they're taking whatever kind of supplements whatever they need, you know what I'm saying?
24:46James Harrison:Individualizing it. And that's going to take more time and that's going to take more money because everybody isn't built the same. You don't need what I need, you know what I'm saying? So the quicker that teams are really starting to understand, all right, turf is more, grass is more expensive, but it's going to help our players, their bodies, you know what I'm saying? What do we need for food? We can just get in these cold cuts, you know what I'm saying? They can have them things running in. Or can I go specifically, my linebacker here needs to lose a little bit of weight. Can I get them on a program where I have somebody specifically taking care of them?
25:16James Harrison:That's going to cost more. But in the long run, you're going to get a better version and the best shaped person of your player. So it's like, are you going to go and go that extra mile where it's like just knowing? Because the dudes, when you come into the league, you don't know what you don't know. They're giving you the fools and you only to meet dudes like you, to meet dudes like Cam, that actually have people outside the joint that are taking care of you, really doing the dry needles, Really making sure like, nah, I got this person for you. This masseuse is going to make sure you get right.
25:43James Harrison:I got this person. I got this chamber, the hyperbaric. We're going to go in there and get right. Like until you find that, the quicker if the organization comes in there and it already has. As soon as these rookies come in, we got nutritionists. We got the real dry needling people. We know what this is going to do. And even if they start taking care of some of this stuff, it's, oh, yo. Yo, I got you. Oh, okay. It gets a little expensive. So as long as they start taking care of that, like just knowing when you do stuff with your investment, it can really you can get it on the back end. Mm hmm. Yeah.
26:16James Harrison:I mean, like even like when you look at like like like the training staff, all the other stuff, like like just the soft tissue injuries that that we have, like muscle tears and all that other strains like, dude, that's nothing but muscle imbalance or weakness. You know, and if you get that and you actually sit there and individualize each person's workout and test them, individualize, you'll get a player to be able to where he's less than that. 30:21James Harrison:That's, you know, a risk. For hamstrings, calves, quads, all that other stuff. When I was playing for the Steelers, we would take that little test and G would have like, you knew if your hamstring was about to get ready to, you know what I'm saying? Like, they were like, I know your hamstrings are, there's something up with it a little bit. And they would just start working on your hamstrings. Like, your hamstrings are a little weaker. So we need to start working on them. I remember that was something that I had when I was there. That Gi was like, no, something's up with your hamstrings a little bit.
30:49James Harrison:And I would just start working on my hamstrings more. Yeah. It's just all, like I said, it's all dependent on what your deficiency is and what that imbalance is. Usually they use, like, a machine. And you're using, like, where you do hard, quiet work and you do hard hamstring work. And you measure the difference. between the two, you know, through that. And then you try and, you know, get that difference to where it's less than 10%, preferably less than five is the case. But, like, that's considered, like, perfection. Anytime zero to five is considered perfection. Ten is when you start running into issues.
31:24James Harrison:And then anything over that, it ain't about when. I mean, it ain't about if, it's about when. It's about when. When you go pull it. the reigning NFL MVP Matthew Stafford is officially tied to the Los Angeles Rams for the next two years after the Rams announced they have extended Stafford's contract bro Stafford's contract extension is for one year 55 million the deal is worth up to 60 million with incentives Stafford now has two years and up to$105 million remaining on his contract with the Raiders, says Schefter. Yo. Yes. I told you that boy won. Yes. This is exactly right. That's exactly what's supposed to happen.
32:24James Harrison:Market, he's balling. His team is doing great. that's basically say a 105 is averaging around 50 55, 56 a year you know what I'm saying so solid they picked up Simpson right? you said what? they picked up Ty right? yep yeah they picked up Ty but you know what it's yours Ty is in the A-Rod situation it's yours in two just look watch and grow watch and grow learn from him Learn from him. Man. Learn from him. Hey, man, take everything from him. I'm telling you. Literally. You a tick. You're going to be learning from him. You're going to be learning from him. Fatten up on him. For sure. Get all the information you can, baby.
33:09James Harrison:Because that man Matthew Stafford, though, bro, deserves every dollar. He's throwing the ball amazing still. I think he's going to the hall. Nothing. Like, no reason. When they lost, I think their defense kind of let them down. It was not because of anything on the offensive side of the ball. I've been told you the defense is going to have some problems. No, no, no. That's what I'm saying. So with this contract, with this extension, making sure he's going to be there for the next two, right up there with the highest paid quarterbacks, deservingly so. Like when you see that Dak's making 60 and he just got the 55 extension, the numbers are what the numbers are.
33:42James Harrison:So it's just up there. That's what it is. Matthew Stafford, one of them dudes, he didn't go reset the market. He's under, you know what I'm saying, under what the highest paid dudes are making. And so, I mean, it is what it is. How is he under what the highest paid dudes is making? Do he up there with them? No, no, no. How is he just under that? He's at least got a year for like 60 with an extra five on top. That's what I'm doing. That's what you do when you are Matthew Stafford and with the Rams. It's no, what are we going to be sitting here messing around with the five mil? Where it's like, end of the day, I'm good.
34:17James Harrison:You guys are good. We're in a great situation. I don't know about it. But out there in L.A., man, hell, that's, you know. There you go, Debo. That's Texas. No, he's Texas, Joe. Come on, man. That 55, he's Hall of Fame. He and Texas, Joe. He's chilling. You and Texas do not get along. I feel you. But just with Matthew Stafford being a vet, being a baller, it's not. When you say he could have tried to go crazy and go get, what, 61, try to like. I mean. You know what I'm saying? Show him a little bit of respect, man. Gave him 58. $55 million extension. That's what I love about him is like, what are we talking about here?
34:55James Harrison:Like, with that 55, what you going to be able to do different that you couldn't do with that 60? I hear you. That's five mil. But now we can go, maybe we can go get you another beer. In California, it ain't much. You're right. It ain't much, D-Bo. There might not be no more than a mil and a half. Yes, man. Let that man live. That man, Matthew Stafford. Shout out to him. Shout out to the No Look Pass. Shout out to him getting drafted and still balling. He was doing it with the Lions. and now it's not his fault. It's not his fault. Let me go back to that. Now that I was just, that just refreshed my head.
35:27James Harrison:Joe Burrow. Burrow. Oh, Lord. Yes. What you got for? See what Stafford did. Got a bout at Detroit. And went and got him one. Almost had two. Joe Burrow, get out of Cincinnati. You don't want to die that. You don't want your career to die that. Mm-mm. No, sir. I don't want it for you. It hurts my heart to think about it. Nobody does. It hurts my heart. I feel it. Nobody wants that for them. Such talent. Talent. Sitting there, wasting. Cincinnati. Bungles. We got this year. This year is the make or break, brother Debo. Listen. After we go get this one. Go upstairs, talk to Mr. Brown, and you tell him.
36:24James Harrison:You got to go. Man. Got to go. There's no need. There's no need. I don't think if we go get it, I don't know if Joe Burrow going. He probably just know he's that man. He probably want to do it himself. Dude, what are you talking about? Look at Mayfield. Who, Baker? Baker. in Cleveland said, hey. Look, Baker had to go. Baker had a whole different trajectory. I'm just saying. Nobody's beating down Baker. If he was still being in Cleveland, he would have still been.
37:04James Harrison:Oh, oh, oh, okay. I know. If he was in Cleveland, that would have just been that. You know? Hey, sometimes. Nobody would have been that. Although the organization brought you in, that ain't who go. be your dancing partner all night. You know? Sometimes you gotta switch partners if you want to get that trophy. Hell, look, LeBron did it. LeBron James? LeBron James? He had to. A couple times. Look, they weren't getting the pieces around him in the calves at first that they needed and he had to go there and learn how to get the ship. Went and got it done with Dwayne Wade than them, then came back.
37:48James Harrison:And then we had the pieces. They got Kyrie, Kevin Love, and everybody. Squad. That's what I'm talking about. This ain't going to be the first time. But, like I said, we got a year. You got time to think on it. We going to help you with that decision when we play a couple times a year, for sure. but you know you don't want to end up in a situation you know that you're already in and not being able to get back to where you went you know went there first, second, third year or something like that now you may not never see it again everybody thinks it's easy to get back they don't realize how much work it took there and how much luck and sacrifice and all the pieces that go with that you know to get there Look at the Cavs Yeah what about They thought they had it With 740 left And they didn't There's no way you could run this back around To the Cavs losing That game What you mean It's the same thing Oh and then Baker Mayfield bro Baker Mayfield was balling for the Browns Went to the playoffs and won We just should have signed to him to a little extension.
39:09James Harrison:He would have been fine. No, he would have been there losing again. We won to the playoffs. He was on a nice trajectory. And we ended up picking. One playoff game in the last 30 years, Joe. Brother, but Baker Mayfield, he wasn't there for 30 years. During Baker Mayfield's time, he did what he had to do. We was on an upward trajectory. And then we ended up thinking that we was going to do the big thing. And you started grounding. No, that's what I'm saying. but it has nothing to do with Baker Mayfield. We've assessed him to a little bit longer. It's synonymous. They go together. Cavs won the ship.
39:45James Harrison:Cavs won the ship. True statement. Cavs got that ring. I get you that. I get you that. Yeah, so, you know, we're just trying to get to, you know, we right there, we Eastern Conference Finals. But y 'all doing y 'all best to show them how to lose one. You just showed them how to lose one. You had an opportunity. Game one was... You kicked in in the finals. You don't even get that opportunity anymore. It's over with. No way. Nixon four. Nixon, what you saying? Nixon four? Nixon four. You crazy out your mind. They go close it out at your place, popping champagne bottles in y 'all locker room. Oh, and that's going to be...
40:22James Harrison:The game four is on Monday, and that's the game I will be at. So you telling me we about to lose... You telling yes. Saturday and Monday. I'm going to talk to you before game four on the show. You said you're going right? And we're going to be two. You said you're going right? I'm going to the game on Monday. Okay. Game four. Okay. That will be I don't Joe. What? Wow Joe. You think like that is going to crush you. Do you want me to go with you? like you want me to show up after the game to be there for you i will do that because it's only a hour and a half drive i will be there because i know you're going to be crushed you may not even be able to walk like i will have to carry you like the way you say your soul is hurt the only thing i'm telling you and watch them get they support for the show comes from public the investing platform for those who take it seriously on public you can build a multi-asset portfolio of stocks, bonds, options, crypto, and now generated assets, which allow you to turn any idea into an investable index with AI.

44:58James Harrison:Face kicked in at home. You see them boys popping bottles in the locker room. I can't. You want me to come there? honestly honestly honestly no not with this energy honestly no i'm there in support of you okay are you going to be wearing calves gear you're going to be supporting joe i'm coming after the game to get you out of there you go be in a ball a heap of lump or nothing but just tears and sorrow this man's funny i'm going to know more how i'm going to feel after game three because of... Okay, after game three when you lose, you might not want to show up to Monday. You might want to get sick.
45:41James Harrison:That's going to... You don't want to show up for... After you lose game three, Joe, don't go Monday. It's going to be a start to a horrible week. It takes a while when you're not playing that game to get over this because you relive it. You replay it back. You know what I'm saying? And you got to watch it. You can't not watch it now, Joe. This is what we do. Oh, I'm definitely watching. I'm definitely watching. And just, I'm not going to talk to you, though. How you going to not talk to me, Joe? We got a show. Tuesday. Oh, after the game? After the game, I'm definitely, okay, no. I'm not talking to you after the game three.
46:25James Harrison:Win or lose. I'm just going to talk to you on Monday before game four. Because I don't want to talk trash to you. I just want all of it to be fresh. I want all of it to be fresh. What about Tuesday, Joe? What you going to do Tuesday morning, Joe? Dependent. After y 'all just got popped, Joe. I'm trying to come there and help you. Pull up. Pull up, Debo. Pull up. Goodness, man. Pull up. Pull up. Like, I don't understand what's wrong with you kids nowadays, man. Y 'all know y 'all can't take when y 'all get hurt. It's because I care. You got everything put on. It's because I care. It don't make sense, Joe.
47:13James Harrison:I care. Your kids seeing you moping around. Your wife seeing you moping around. She got to stand up and put the pants on, Joe. No, no, no. He got to say, daddy's sick. He ain't crying over the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Browns. He's a man still. I think. Shut up, man. He's still your daddy. You going to show him some respect. My boys was mad too. My boys' dad, did the Cavs win? No, son. Hey, man, listen. Because it's past their bedtime. They got to go to sleep. Waking up. Dad, did the Cavs? Son. You done put them into a hole, man. And now there ain't no basketball team over here for them to root for.
48:06James Harrison:We rooting for the Cavs over here. We rooting for the Cavs over here. Joe,
48:14James Harrison:if they lose game three, you going to game four. Yeah. For real. If they lose game three, I'm still going to game four. Mm-mm. I got to. But I don't believe in us losing game three. We're going to defend our same. We got to defend our home turf. I'm saying this, but I'm stuck here. Listen to what you're saying. You don't believe it. I do. It's not in your heart, Joe. You ever watch the boys? You ever watch the boys on Prime Man? No, I haven't watched the boys. I haven't watched the boys. To read people's minds to see what they really feel in their heart. If they was reading your mind right now, Joe, they know.
48:59James Harrison:I can hear it. The chat can hear it. The chat can hear it in your words. They can feel it. It's nothing there. They saying, don't worry, Joe. They know you worried. Why would they tell you don't worry if they don't know you worried, if they don't feel you already worried? Hey, man, it's been a rough day today on this side. I ain't going to lie. Joe, is there a reason you're wearing those sunglasses? were you crying all night? I'm a little puffy. Oh my goodness, Joe. Thanks, I ain't cry. I ain't cry. I ain't cry. I ain't that sad. You ain't that sad. You ain't cry. I was just more - Screamed into the pillow.
49:40James Harrison:It was more like - Screamed into the pillow. It was more - Fuck! Ugh! Ugh! Ugh! What the fuck did that? I don't want to want it more than they want. I can't want it more than they want it. Hey, that's what it sound like to me. That's all I'm saying. Hey, Joe. I don't want to want it more. Ain't that what you say to somebody that be asking you about this and asking you about that? Say, I want to do this. I want to do that. But then when it comes time to do it, they don't want to do it. I can't want it more for you than you want it for yourself. I can't want it more than you want it for yourself.
50:18James Harrison:because I done did it. That's what I got to tell. I can't want it more than you want it because it's not for me. I done did my thing. This is yours. I don't think James Harden won't play no defense. You want to go talk to him? That's just what I'm telling you right now. I love the beard, but when I'm telling you this, when I speak on, I say...
50:45James Harrison:I like the beard. Okay. A lot. Okay. I think he has a great offensive game. He can dribble the ball amazingly. The ball handling package is unbelievable. All I need, though, is this. This is what I'm saying. I know you're not a great defensive player. But, coach, don't put James Harden out there on Jalen Brunson anymore. And then, James, just move. Just move. I need effort. I need you to just for me, show me that you want it. I know you want it. I think his beard too heavy, he can't move as fast as he need to. He might want to cut some of it off. No, don't mess with his beard. The beard's fine.
51:25James Harrison:The beard's fine. I don't know. He looks stiff through the neck sometimes when he moves like that. He ain't getting nowhere there. I don't know, Joe. All I know, the games are lit. I ain't even get to tell you. I went out to Oklahoma City the other day to scout the competition. I went to game two. out of Oklahoma City the other day. Mm-hmm. What? Yeah. Got what competition, bro? Y 'all is not getting out of this. I did. I went out there and I saw. Hey, you seen what happened game two. Hey, that man, that man, hey, Wimby can't put that out every game like that. This is what happened. They did a great job.
51:57James Harrison:It's a little bit of coaching. They didn't put the shorter guys on them. They put Hartenstein just to put that body on them. I seen Wimby in person. He's shoemongous. the thing that threw me off was his foot, his shoes about this tall. It's not even how, it's probably about a 23, but his foot about this tall, his shoe. That's the crazy part. I'm like, how's he running around carrying these big boats on his feet? That's what was throwing me off the whole time. He looks, he's standing over everybody, but his feet running around was the craziest part. But Hartenstein just kept laying the body on him because he's light.
52:34James Harrison:He might be victim weight because he's like tall, But once he's get the lean on the... Ain't no way he under 200, Joe. No, no. Man, all right, all right. They say 230 because he's 7 '6". So 230, 7 '6". That might as well be victim weight. That's that mean. You all the way up there. Yeah. 230, like, that's a lot. That's real skinny with it. But he was doing a great job just keeping him out of the paint. So good game. Mm. Good ball. That's a good thing. but that wasn't you scouting. That was you looking at greatness. You wanted to see what it looked like because you had forgot what it looked like after you seen what happened to him with 740 left in the first game, you know, against New York.
53:20James Harrison:You seen what happened to the Cavs, and you wanted to go see what greatness looked like. That's all that was, Joe. You wasn't scouting, man. You know you had a chance to win in this series that you got right now. It's okay, Joe. It's okay. Look here, man. We're going to keep it moving, but we're going to keep it moving. Look here. Hey, we out of time anyway. It's about time for us to go. Yes. What we want to do is we want to thank you guys for joining us on this episode of Debo and Joe. Yep. Make sure you like, subscribe, and download where you get your podcasts. Joe. Yo. We will see y 'all on Monday.
53:53James Harrison:Let's root for these cats. It's going to be what it's going to be. But I see y 'all on Monday. And we out. It's going to be what it's going to be.
54:23James Harrison:We'll be right back.
