2:05James Harrison:so we came in we graduated school early bro what was one of your best memories of when we first got to school me you ma uh paul all of the boys when we got when we graduated in uh from high school and got to florida yeah we went there i'll never ever forget it but we went in a while with a storm like no matter what older guy was there like all of us came from you know high school championship team so we challenged everything but man our first our first week or two there uh the team because we all came in early they went out to Scottsdale and played Ohio State I'm just yes I remember being on them scooters you remember all us bought this uh you know the most yes and uh to see that everyone run outside the O 'Connor Center and uh for them to party and hang on the poles and I'm just sitting back like boy I cannot wait for this to be us come on I know we're gonna do this like 100 % and it's just the trickle-down effect just seeing the atmosphere because at the time I don't know Joe remembers this, but they had a program set where they was trying to bring minority people to UF.

3:01So we was a part of that whole thing where they brought in not just Blackview, but, you know, Asians, you know, every single different culture to try to bring more, you know, color and flavor to the University of Florida. So our era, where we had the, you know, number one party school rated two years in a row. So for us, it was an unbelievable time. Like, man, every single day, and I can guarantee you, if you wanted to party every single day, Joe Hayward going to meet you. I'll show you, I knew where to be. I knew where to be. Joe was the number one partier in all of UF history, man.

3:31James Harrison:Yes. And how you gonna put him over me? Because I love his wife, man. I love Ms. Hayden, man. I ain't gonna lie to you. This is what I'm gonna tell you though, because me and Pounce, and when he says this, bro, we was grinding. We was working so hard. When you say - I bet you was grinding. No, no, no. You said - Yeah, yeah. That's for sure. Don't disrespect. Don't disrespect. Listen, Coach Admar had us a Saturday night midnight lifts. We couldn't even go to the Shemangs. Saturday night midnight lifts. Joe party so much that he would have to come in there and clean the weight room early in the morning and then come do his workout in the afternoon.

4:08You remember that, Joe? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You'd be in there working out, Joe and us wiping down weights. I'm like, oh, this is wild. See, yep, yep. I got in trouble. Got in trouble. That's the fact that he's getting a little early.

4:18James Harrison:That's outside of that, Miss A. Thank you, Pounce. Thank you, pal. Man, listen, man. You good and terrible. Look here, man. We're going to be playing Joe's old team, them Browns. But you got to tell me, how would you deal with this situation? So, Platt, Friar moves. He added something that happened to us. You know what? Just play it right there. Let him see it. Let me see it. Let me hear this. No, Cleveland fans threw beer at my mother after my rookie year. After I threw that touchdown. So, I'm going to - Lock me up. It's all good. But hey, it's all for the sports and all for the love of the game.

4:53My mom enjoyed it. So it was all good. No hard feelings. But yeah, I definitely enjoyed playing Cleveland.

4:58James Harrison:That's what we're not going to do. I'm not signing up. She doesn't go. She doesn't go. Listen, man, I'm going to tell you. I tell my people to not go to away games. We don't have to go to away games. Do not go to away games. Don't do it because if something go happen, because something go, I got to get bail money. I'm locked up. Everything going bad. because now I can't even think about nothing else, man. Look, man, I was at – my people was in Ohio, man. They was watching the Steelers game. And it's some paperwork out there. But, you know, some people got disrespectful. You know, they got reckless.

5:36James Harrison:Probably with their mouth and was talking something crazy. And, you know, I get a call after the game. Hey, your family, they done locked up some people because they done put some hands on – For sure, hands, feet, everything. Hands, feet, everything. You know what I'm saying? Now that you - Oh. Oh, my mama, man. I'ma tell you - That man there 60 something at the time, man. She done had to go down there. They done put papers on her. Hey, look, look. I was on the elevator with your mama once time, D-Bo, and I'm telling - Oh my God. You just need to go. I'm leaving. I talked to y 'all. All right.

6:06James Harrison:Thank you for joining the show. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no, no. I was scared to say hey. She had to say hey to me first. I'm like, ma 'am, I know exactly who you are. Yes, ma 'am. Yes, ma 'am. Hey, look, hey, Debo, but look, don't let Pouncey get to acting crazy, because I'm going to tell you this. Anytime I did go out with my good man Pounce, I felt safe. I felt safe. We was good in the hood. Pounce don't play. Was Aaron with us? Was Aaron with us? Hold up. I got to go again. I'll see y 'all later. I'll see you for Texas homies. Hey, was Aaron with us?

6:47Yes.

6:48James Harrison:Yeah, we good. Yeah, we good. We good. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Hey, hold up. Go get it. I'll tell you right now, my boy was still here. He would love to see this clip, dog. Oh, my God. Bro, bro. That man. Homeboy told me. Homeboy told me. He said, Aaron, listen, one of my dudes told me, he say, he was playing against him, whatever, da-da-da-da. He said, and that boy said, that boy said, I'll kill you. He said, bro, I think he might have meant it. He didn't know until the time, until afterwards. I seen that too. Who came? It was another player that came out and said it too, man. He was talking trash to him.

7:29When Aaron said that to him, he was like, I didn't believe him at the time. I do. what i would say man what people really don't know like and trust me we saw you know we still talk to the family the kids all right man people don't know man he was one of them dudes and it's weird to say because man sometimes like how deep when you walk into like a you know like a grocery store or something you have such this presence to you if people don't know who you are they're gonna think you know you're doing something in life right and them dudes you know i mean he could walk in and just take over a room with just smiling everyone loved him you know i mean i I don't know what truly went down in the day.

8:00He never got convicted for it. And at the end of the day, I do, I do hate it because, you know, he has a beautiful daughter, you know, he had a beautiful family. And I will say that they're, they're, they're tough people, you know, they endure what they had to endure. They're still living life and enjoying life and, you know, growing every single day that that you just understand sometimes in life, man, difficult things happen, bro. And that when you look past it, man, it's bigger than just the individual. Right. And it's an effect from the individual who did it to, you know, everyone else to have to deal with it moving forward.

8:28But, uh, Man, I always bring up the good times with him because, man, people were truly around him and you would know why we did it. I mean, why he just brought so much joy and why I think that life was like a game to him. It was like a joke to all of the people that the people that he was around and endured that he just brought something special to me. I know, Joe, that you probably have multiple memories of you and Hernandez hanging out. Oh, yeah. The things I would talk about, you know what I mean? So it was just a special moment of time. And I hate that, you know, the ending story to it because, man, none of us ever seen it.

8:58You know what I mean? I tell people, if it was that, then he was better than 007. You know what I mean? James Bond, because it was very unseeable. You know what I mean?

9:06James Harrison:I know one thing, because he was just, the one thing he would always do with me, he wanted to go, for sure, to the league. So we would always compete. He's like, Joe, you're the number one corner. What you're going to do is cover me. He's going to want me to guard him. He's like, I'm going to get open on you every time. I'm like, no, you're not. He's like, how do you strap? Like, he was just interested. He wanted to get open. He wanted to play against the best. He wanted to be the best. So that's why I always rock. Because he would always rock. He'd be like, Joe, you nice, but you got to cover me.

9:33James Harrison:You got to cover me. I want that wreck. I want this work. But he was crazy, too, though. He had to turn on the side to him. He always talked trash to you. He's always so competitive. You know what I mean? Hey, man, where was Tebow at? Tim Tebow is one of the most stand-up guys that I've ever met in my entire life, Tebow. Pouncey could say, too. He didn't drink. He didn't smoke. He didn't curse. He didn't do none of this. And like, it was, he practiced what he preached. He was always giving those like, like all that stuff. And if he was fake, I'd be like, man, this nigga was out here just talking out of one side of his mouth and doing the other craziness.

10:11James Harrison:And that's why, bro, I think that's why we love him so much because we was there with him and we truly seen it. For a man to have everything that he had. I mean, he couldn't walk out of the front door of his house. They were crying. People, girls would be literally standing outside of it crying. I was like, this is crazy. This is not okay. Y 'all gotta get checked out. You know what I'm saying? Tebow had people literally - Y 'all ain't see my film? I ain't. Hey. You don't know my name. I'm number five. Number five. Take the one off. The pet team. I will say though, Debo, real talk, this man would show up for the offensive line.

10:50He would literally come, we would beg him, like, bro, we need the free bottles, man. Come down here. He would show up at 9 o 'clock to the club. Get us all the bottles as soon as we walk in. All right, fellas, y 'all be good, man. I see y 'all at work out in the morning.

11:00James Harrison:Out the door. Out, gone. Yeah, real talk. Everything now, because people always ask that. It's crazy because they want to find, like, the little devil that. No, no, he had to make an appearance. Yeah, no, it's just real. Yeah, I'm telling you, bro. I'm just telling you right now, bro, his family, the way they were, like, every time he was, like, man, this dude didn't cuss. Like, man, just being around people. We had 38 arrests during our era. He ain't lying. He ain't say one first word. It was just crazy. And you just respect it because how hard he worked. He was that person. Bro, the weight room, the work he would go to, he about to pass out.

11:34James Harrison:Oh, you know he work out with my trainer. I about to say, you would love him. You would love him. You would love him. Yeah, we don't work out with him. He put that work in. Yeah, he work out there, PEP, Ian Denny. I just seen his ass. Okay, we just did an autograph. I signed it at Walmart out there in Ocala. It just opened up. But by his arms, I'm like, hey, bro, you got to stop. Like, there ain't no way you came to fit your shirt right. His shirt was rolled up like this. Yeah. Like, come on, bro. Still trying. Yeah. Still flexing. I'm like, Tim, let it go, baby. You on TV. You should look good, man.

12:07But yeah, man, I will say great dude, great person, great family. So, you know, his pops just passed away, Joe. Oh, man. Yeah, yeah, it was a couple months ago. I texted him, you know, because I mean, his dad, bro, was that dude, if he's seeing you walking, he would just pull you over and just start praying. It was crazy because growing up, don't get me wrong, we had people going to church, but to see someone that walked so cleanly, the book says that the walk, to see that happen outside of my great grandma, I don't know nobody else.

12:41James Harrison:My family, my granddad's a pastor, so you know how our family was super close to your fan, pal, so when we would just see good people walking around like that's why the squad major you know i'm saying that carlos dunlap like we go back like all of us man like dunlap 100 sacks in the league i don't think he gets appreciated as much i think dunlap and you bro are the two players that i played with in college that go to the league that i feel like don't get the credit they deserve you first ballot hall of fame dunlap over 100 sacks i feel like you know i'm saying just even at even at florida with Dunlap.

13:16It's more pissing me off because you know I said something. He should have went three. If it wasn't for that, you know what I'm saying, that little incident. He got in that little trouble. Got in that little trouble. People knew Dunlap, man, he was the most laid back. He wasn't a big party drinker, you know, out in fights and getting in trouble. You know what I mean, bro? It was just a bad incident that happened. One-off. Yeah, it was a one-off, bro. Real talk. It was really literally a one-off because you're going to the craziest part, bro. I'll never forget this, bro. I talked to Dunlap and we all partied that night.

13:44We all went out, hung out and Dunlap literally went to the house and he called like I'm about to go to Whataburger and grab me um some food real quick yeah he's back out and that's when I'm just like bro that's I'm just telling you like if he was slaughtered wasted drunk man we was there like I would have tired of like he like he couldn't walk around and all this other yeah I would tell you that it wasn't that I mean so it just it's standing there just crazy that that he's not in the Florida Gator Hall of Fame that he hasn't he's not in the Florida Georgia Hall of Fame like you know you telling me Carlos Dunlap it's not that man was supposed to win this we didn't win our second time our last year there, Joe.

14:14Because he was out because he was suspended.

14:17James Harrison:Yes. And we got toed it on because we needed Dunlap. Man, yeah. Didn't you just get inducted this week in that Hall of Georgia fame? Yeah, that's coming up. That's Halloween. It's coming up. Okay, Halloween. Okay. Yes, sir. You and Emmitt Smith, ain't it? Man, that's another thing for my man. Come on. How the hell am I going there with Emmitt Smith? Deservingly so. No. Listen, I was a good player. I was a good player. Don't get me wrong. Do me a favor. Do me a favor, Ponson. No. If I'm talking I'm going to battle with anybody, but Emmitt Smith, bro, the way there's no way he don't have a statue out front and there's no way that I'm fucking going into the Hall of Fame with Emmitt Smith.

14:53Man, that's just like, come on, bro. The Florida dude, the Hall of Fame like, man, that's crazy. Okay, Pau, you got it.

14:58James Harrison:You're right. He should have been in there. Now I got to get out there and give a speech out to Emmitt Smith? Man, that's crazy. Hey, hey, make sure they put you in first. That's what I'm saying. Go first. I got to do this, man. I go first. That going last, man, that's a lot of pressure. I knew y 'all was going to agree with me, bro. I knew it. Man, see, I'm rocking with you, Pounce. I'm rocking with you. You can go first, last, but first, you know what I'm saying, just get out of the way. It's Emmett. I feel you. I know you're going to rock with me, Joe, but I'm just saying, I know how these Gator fans are, man.

15:27James Harrison:Yeah, gay. But it is just crazy to me because when you look at it, bro, I know they got all quarterbacks there and the people they got statues are rightfully so, right? Badass players, great representation for the University of Florida. but to not have Emmitt Smith, a statue out front, let alone what he did at the University of Florida, but the active career accolades that he had, man, it's just unbelievable to me. And I just can't – at some point, man, I just can't accept it. You know, another crazy thing, too, that kind of pissed me off was how they just did Spikes, you know what I mean, Brandon Spikes.

15:58Yeah. Some of them things that happen at big-time universities, they get swept under the rug for players that meant so much to help y 'all build the stigma that they have there, to have the recruiting come in afterwards. Yeah. Brandon Spikes is one of them players. So for you to just, you know, fire him and X him out, you know, the future of what was going on there, you know what I mean? I just – I don't know why that stuff just eats me up inside because I've been up there before and I've seen how it is, you know, unless you're a part of the group.

16:30James Harrison:Hey, that's a lot of places. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, 100%. But it's just – man, guys like that, I don't care, man. Like there's just certain guys and don't get me wrong. No one should be treated as so much better than other people, but we all know no one's equal, right? No. There's certain things that happen around in certain football, you know, organizations that certain guys, no matter what, they should never ever be treated like an equal. Oh, for sure. And Brandon Spikes is one of them guys. Now don't get me wrong. If he goes out there and, you know, gets in a DUI wreck or he's out there killing people, like I get it.

16:59I mean, but don't mean to tell me that all these other people have, you know, one little hiccup and all of a sudden you just put them out the door because I I mean, hell, we didn't see an old boy with the 49ers. He was at the local trailer park for$120. Come on. Come on.

17:12James Harrison:Listen, bro. Listen. I'm trying to tell you, bro. You go go and fly all the way to Ohio for some toxic twat. That's where they had that spill at over there. You know what I'm saying? That boy, he wanted to live dangerous both ways. I want to go and try and get arrested and make sure it's a little messy and I might come away with, you know. I honestly think he's got a love like Forrest Gump and Jenny. You know, Jenny. Jenny. It had to be that, you know what I mean? Because I can't see that. How can someone be as well as they and put in a position? Hey, man, you don't keep all that money and gain all that money by wasting it.

17:55James Harrison:You got to go for the best deal around. Now it's starting to make sense, you know what I mean? for the 120, hell, he probably, I mean, hell, 365 days at$120. Hey, man, it can't be, that can't be a big deal for a billionaire. No, sir. Pound. Oh, my goodness. Hey, man, listen, out of this whole interview, that's the thing that's going to go by or I ain't going to lie to you. Listen, listen, man, we, we, we go, we go talk about them Browns because we got to get to them Browns, man. How you, how you feel about Joe's, uh, fake dual loyalty? Oh, man, That's so crazy to me. No, Pounce, for real. I heard what I was just watching the other day.

Listen to the Dan Levitard show on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever it is that you get your podcasts. Power Slap 23 is live and free on YouTube on Thursday, September 17th. 21:03Two massive title fights headline the card, including slap fighting legend Wolverine. Also on the card is former WWE champion Jake Hager and the debut of former UFC heavyweight Chris Barnett. You can watch Power Slap 23 for free on Power Slaps' YouTube channel. Thursday, September 17th, for the first time from Texas. Power Slap's biggest card of the year.

21:24James Harrison:Pouncey, all I do is report the news. That's all I do. Okay, so who you want to win on Thursday, Joe? Whoever plays better football. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I didn't say. No, life on the line. Life on the line. Now I'm getting jumped. Life on the line. Life on the line. If my life is on the line, and this is going to be so hard for me, because y 'all know how I feel about you, Pounce. D-Bo done pulled the fire on me. I, with my heart, I want the Browns to win. In my heart. I can't lie to you guys. I ain't gonna lie to you, homie. That's the Pogo lead. Pogo lead. I told y 'all I love your wife now.

22:00James Harrison:I'm gonna start exposing things. Tell me about what he was talking about. They drafted me number seven, Pounce. They drafted me number seven. They drafted me seven. And the city of Cleveland showed me the love. I was out there fighting. I'm trying to win them a Super Bowl. I was doing my best. The fans show me the love. How the win them a Super Bowl? How many playoff games did you win them? How the hell you gonna win them a Super Bowl? How many playoff games did you win? I can only do my 111th. I can only do my 111th. I'm one man. I ain't gonna lie to you. You know I had the Florida cup, but I ain't tell you what was inside of it.

22:30It starts to kick in now, man. You on the BS now, man. That's when people win. Uh-huh. You know what I'm saying? Uh-huh. Oh, no. I ain't gonna lie to you, man. I might have to send an email out to Hazelman and tell them the real truth. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

22:43James Harrison:Pouncey, Pouncey. Listen, listen, listen. No, no, no, no. The only, only, only, only, only, only time - They said Joe or Buzzkill. The chat said Joe or Buzzkill. The only time - Come on, man. I ain't even drunk no more. The only time, the only reason why is because they playing each other. If it's not the Browns, Steelers over everybody. Always Steelers. Joe, how does that make sense? That don't make no sense? I thought you just report the news. It seem like you being biased. Bias. This is what he do, man. He flip back and forth, dude. He like a chameleon. Hold on. Go back to Joe's screen. Let me see what Joe's screen is.

23:20James Harrison:If he go, huh? I got to lie. He don't want to tell you. I got two because I got my dog. I know who you going with right now. He got one still a helmet. He got two brown. Oh, dirty. Dude, this is what I'm talking about, bruh. This is what I got to deal with. You want to stop, bruh. Stop, bruh. Stop with that, bruh. Boom. Both game one. Both with the visors. Both ready for action. Right now. So go down to Rossi then. Who better than our players? Okay. No, no. See, no, no. See, no, no. See that stutter shit I'm talking about now? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That second guessing question. You know what? I got to piss.

24:02No, y 'all. Hey, yo. Real talk. Tell me. Tell me who better than us.

24:07James Harrison:Okay. Rob Markman, okay. Right now, we got a good tight end, Harold Fannin Jr. Really, really good tight end. We got a Pro Bowl caliber tight end. I'm not saying he's better than Darnell Washington or Pat Firemoves, but I'm just saying. So is Pat and our guy Pro Bowlers? Huh? Are they Pro Bowlers or Steelers? Yeah. Not last year because they just didn't get in the ball a lot. Harold Fannin, Harold Fannin went to the Pro Bowl. Harold Fannin was a Pro Bowl. He good. I ain't gonna lie to that. You know, come on, pal. I ain't gonna lie to that. I give you a hard. I like Ward over there. Okay. Denzel, Denzel Ward.

24:48James Harrison:We don't, look, we, our best corner right now for the Steelers, Joey Porter Jr., he not even out there. Right. You know what I'm saying? So, Denzel Ward. I know what I'm saying. But we still got, we still got Ramsey. Ramsey, for sure. That's what I'm saying. Back, safety-wise, better. Steelers, Jalen Ramsey. Defensive ends. Man, how crazy is that though, Joe? How hard is that, bro? For him to go to corner and to safety, to move over to safety at the very end of the career. You know, a one-on-one player, you know, most of your career. Is that a little bit more difficult than most people think? This one I'm going to tell you.

25:18James Harrison:If you are real, if going from corner to safety, if you're that big, like Jalen Ramsey, it's perfect. Because like Charles Woodson, you slow down a little bit, he can still tackle and he can cover the tight ends. Now he don't got to guard the fucking number one receivers. You can slow down a little bit. Now you guarding tight ends and you making tackles. And you smart. I ain't thinking like that. Honestly, I ain't thinking like that. You know what I'm saying? So now he can be able to extend his career because he ain't got to guard the bar chase. He can guard the damn track chase. What about quarterback, Joe?

25:45James Harrison:Huh? Quarterback? Quarterback, that's y 'all. Quarterback, that's A-Rod. Quarterback, that's A-Rod. Look, this is what I'm trying to tell you. You see that shit? I promise you. I was just going to say the same. Y 'all. You want me to say us? Look, so I can't we. When I we we, I'm from London. then you tell me to stop. So now I don't know what to do. All I'm saying, that was wild. That was wild. Pouncey, my bad, Pouncey. My bad, my bad. This is what I got to deal with every day, man. No, Pouncey, Debo is the reason. I'm not even, if it was, he got me flustered. That's Chris Priority traded right now, man.

26:22James Harrison:Oh, wow, man. That's crazy. It is, man, you know what? See, I'm still, don't put this in between. Don't get TJ and Cam mad and Jalen mad at me. Those my dogs. I want them to succeed. Don't try to dap them up pregame and all the other stuff. No, see, y 'all trying to do all that. Don't be over there with your Browns jersey on trying to dap up Steelers players. I'm going to tell them to pull the ratchet on you. Oh, I like that. You ain't going to do that. You ain't tough enough to do that. Not with Haslam in the Browns. No, I ain't going to do that. What y 'all be doing? How did that bark? Was that a good enough bark?

26:54Yeah, there we go.

26:55James Harrison:Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh. It's more, they bark more like. Yeah, little poodles. Get your baby dog. Hey, I will say, though, that's the one fans that every time I came in there, bro, no matter what, bro, they mess with me the hardest, bro. Soon as I walk in there barking at me, your brother's better.

27:18Get him, bro. I swear. That shit crazy, man. Y 'all do got an unbelievable fan base, though, Joe, real tall. Hey, man, before we I gotta say y 'all because you just said y 'all

27:30James Harrison:Let me hit you You said you got a farm over there Y 'all got a farm over there, a ranch or whatever it is What do y 'all do there, man? What y 'all got going on there? We got 220 acres all fenced in gaming and predator property Yeah, we got cracker cows We got water buffaloes Hold up, time out What's a cracker cow? You better than me And I can say that because I'm half white because I know people are going to say it. But it's actually a cow that just eats a whole bunch of grass and you get that tax exemption for them. They're not big market sales because we sell our calves around$1 ,200 to$1 ,500.

28:07But we make a little bit more off the water buffaloes. The water buffaloes you get around$2 ,000 to$2 ,500. But more than anything, honestly, we got very lucky at the time. The land, we got it for a low price. Now, don't get me wrong, we built out three houses on there, put an ATV part. We got a football field out there. So some of the things, yeah, that make it to like a compound now. But I think more than anything, it's our place of peace and happiness. I mean, like you get outside of your life and you go out there on 220 acres and you're riding around on ATVs and, you know, doing buggies. And you're just like, man, how crazy is this?

28:42You know, most people do, you know, the exotic, crazy houses. Don't get me wrong. We had that as well. But sometimes when you when you look at things, I think the biggest thing to me I might want to do whenever we got a little bit older is to live peacefully. I mean, get away, get away from, you know, run away from, you know, everyone sitting there knowing you every single day and being able to go to a gas station and people just, you know, hey, how you doing, partner? You know, not even knowing who the hell you are. Sometimes you play sports so long as that, you know, from five years old to, you know, all the way to 30 years old.

29:08You just like, man, I want to live the regular life. It's hard to do whenever you're tatted from neck to toe. But in Okeechobee on the ranch, they're like, shit, they're looking at you the total opposite way. Like, who the hell is this guy out here? Yeah,

29:25James Harrison:for sure, for sure. Look here, bro. Matter of fact, Joe, we're going to have to get down there to the to the to the land over to the property, man. May shoot a show from down there or something, man. No, we honestly, bro, I will say so. It is built out for us to have all our big parties every single year. We have a big New Year's party, a big Fourth of July party. You know, we probably have close to 300 people out there. We have all, you know, the shooting range stuff. We got the wild hogs. We also raise black long-eared British pigs as well as my waggle of pork. And trust me, I don't eat pork.

29:58Oh, listen, I eat everything from the rooter to the tooth. I ain't going to lie to you. Depending on the scenario, I might do the same, but all I'm saying is that, man, listen, when you raise pigs and see how they live on a day-to-day basis, I'm telling you right now, that bacon you eat, you're going to reconsider.

30:17James Harrison:Hey, I can see a pig eat a pig. I eat chitlins, brother. Oh, yeah. I told you, I mean it. When I say I eat everything from the rooter to the toot, I eat pig's ears, I eat pig feet, I eat chitlins, hog moths, I eat it all. That's nasty. I ain't going to lie to you, boy. And the whole house thing, too. Yup. But y 'all got to shoot a little scene down there, bro, at the rim. Yes. You know, show everybody - We'll hold you to it now. I'm back. We definitely going to pull up. Hey, well, listen, I can't. Whenever me explaining it, I'm just telling you, when you pull onto the property, obviously, you pull up to the gate, that big sign, Pouncey Ranchers.

30:54I can't explain it. You know, you pull down all the way down to, we got probably about a 200-yard road that we put stadium lights all up, because I'm scared as hell of that dark, dark. So when you pull down, I said, we got the stadium lights like you're in the Super Bowl, because that's all I do with people. I say, man, when you're in that Super Bowl game, you see all them lights for the first time, you can't explain it until the candle flashing and everything going on. So I wanted to have that at the ranch. If I ain't win a Super Bowl, my Super Bowl's right there.

31:19James Harrison:Every time I pull up to the crib. Yeah, yeah. For sure, for sure. Let's jump into this Super Chat real quick. We got Kaden the Dyes. $5. Appreciate you. What? Ndamukong Su is coming out of retirement to play for Buffalo? I seen that. Was that true? Y 'all didn't see that? No way. I thought he was joking on Instagram. I thought he was too, but once it opened. No, it was a joke. Okay, I'm about to say. Interview, something with Josh, bruh. Please. Yeah. He all same class. That's that 2010, that boy went too. That boy good, boy. That boy good. Oh, that's the wrong name. It's Kaden the Diesel Freak, 855.

32:04James Harrison:$5 again. He went back and said the AFC is in trouble because the Namakinsu is joining the Buffalo bills nope he's not we'd have no thoughts on it because he's not we got cody sullivan six three six five silver silver sorry cody silver three six five three six five that's right okay five dollars he said joe with all due respect oh i feel to be on a pod with two guys that own the browns it's Browns week 53 who is your favorite 2026 Pittsburgh offensive lineman right now our center and max I ain't talking to you you ain't 53 you're 23 okay I'm gonna say the center I like the center a lot see okay okay position wise what the center that's because you like the position or the center I actually like Zach as a player.

33:07Like, man, I'm just kidding. I told y 'all that clip earlier with him double teaming up, Dexter like that. He has good pass blocking stance. Obviously, he looks like a leader. He communicates very, very well because when you don't have a lot of, you know, MAs in the game as offensive linemen, I mean, you know, the center is sitting there giving the right mic point. He's adjusting the speed. So I think Zach has a – and I hate to say this shit because I said it about the last dude and they kind of like convinced me that I'm saying it. And don't get me wrong. what was my boy's name, number 53, came from Syracuse, Illinois.

33:37And he's with the Texans now.

33:39James Harrison:Damn, damn, damn. Kendrick. Kendrick. What was his last name? Kendrick's last name. But anyway, I thought he was a good player. But I also thought, too, he was short. He had shorter arms. And, you know, sometimes when you're talking about your guys and your team, you don't want to say anything bad because, you know, there are people who are drafting him, you know what I mean? Right. Especially not in the draft process. Right. You know what I mean? But I will say, I think they did a hell of a job with Zach. I think, you know, he has the right fit for Pittsburgh, you know, the right mentality to play up there in the cold weather, you know, to run an offensive unit.

34:09James Harrison:Okay. Cody Silva, he's back again. Three, six, five. Two dollars. And he said five, three. What would it feel like watching nine, two and twenty five destroy people? He talking about me and Ryan Clark. Oh, my God. I told y 'all when I came in there, it was year one, year two, year three. And him and Ryan Clark had the most knockouts and fines. So to see that, so y 'all got to see that. That's the craziest part. Y 'all got to see that part. We got to see it in practice every single day. Yes. We had to feel it in practice every single day. You know what I mean? For the guys, when they got pissed off or, you know, Ben's out there talking trash.

34:44And now we got to, man, you over here talking to Debo, Casey, Hampton, and Kiesel. And we got to block them. Like, man, just chill. You know what I mean?

34:53For real. I got to deal with him. I don't think Ryan Clark gets enough credit. And I've been seeing Instagram things going out right now. but I think he should be talked about a lot more as one of them players in NFL that was such a true hitter that I'm telling you right now people are feared of him real talk real talk for sure for

35:09James Harrison:sure covenant life she's back though ten dollars she said Pouncey I'm still mad at you for retiring because you didn't ask we the people how we felt about it as a matter of fact I feel like I need you to suit up Thursday yeah hold up are you the real Pounce no this is definitely the real I ain't a lot to you. Now you got to throw$100 in there and not trust me. Hey, Covenant, listen, listen. Covenant Life ain't tripping, bro. Covenant Life is the realest one. When I say she's the biggest supporter of our podcast, I mean she is the biggest supporter of our podcast. I had to say Covenant Jersey, signed Jersey.

35:45James Harrison:Yes, all that. Covenant has supported us because she felt like that from day one that what we did and in the process of how her going through a situation she was going through, it uplifted her spirit and it gave her actually drive to push through. You know how cool this is to see you on here talking like this and running a show? Hell! I was around you a long time, bro, so I'm fucking happy for you, man. That's freaking awesome. Everybody, whoever followed this thing, better support, man. This dude was fear. He didn't say not two words to people. Man, people didn't even sit in this man's chair in the meeting room.

36:29I don't get to hear that a doctor's appointment. People still didn't sit in it.

36:33James Harrison:You got covered like she's back again. She said, Pouncey, you spent years protecting Big Ben. What one block you made for him that you still remember? The kind where you know Big Ben got time to make something happen. did you ever, did he ever thank you for it? Hell no, he don't need to. He got me paid. I ain't gonna lie to you. He got me paid a little bit more, sweetie, but I will say the one thing I always remember, we played Babin in New York Jets and you know how he was. He was like a light-skinned dude, had the tattoos everywhere. But it was the one play Ben scrambles around the whole game.

37:11He's talking shit, bro, and Ben scrambling around, bro, running close to the sideline, bro, and I dive and hit him and bro, it just made me have so much respect for him, right? I hit him and both of us like fall down and roll up together and both of us went class to class talking. She's talking about, yeah, you saw, I'm talking about you saw too, pussy. All this other shit, but I just, it just made me like, bro, whenever we had them certain like meatheads and players that, you know, not, not overly disrespectful, but talking trash, it just motivates you to keep playing, right? So he was one of them dudes and I'm just telling you right now, I'll never ever forget it.

37:37Every time I see that clip, I just sit back and laugh like that was a cool little moment in football, you know?

37:42James Harrison:For sure, for sure. Come to the light, she's back again, Joe. Honestly, after watching the Steelers O-line for open lanes for Jalen Warren Sunday, what changed up front and what has to carry over against the Browns. So for this to become the identity of the offense,$10, appreciate you. I ain't gonna lie to you. I think it's more of the guys, they're doing great communicating, but making sure that you always have the right double teams. I think sometimes when you're blocking and trying to run the ball, you know, the most important guy is the D-liner, right? You got to make sure you get a good fit on him, help your other partner out and make sure you can get to the second level because sometimes guys leave too fast and try I want to go bought a smaller guy I don't want the I don't want the heavier pounding you know I mean that's really but man as a as true offense alignment like you understand some of these blocks that you got to have when it's a true true tight tight shave like how I keep going back to the next thing because they kept playing run over again that's one of the hardest blocks for a center that dude is right there on your right there at the snap of the ball that's literally watching the thing you got to get your head front side so that guard don't do a good job of hiding in it you see how he hit him and he even grabbed a leg like a little wreck.

38:50I would laugh a little. I'd say, oh, look, he can create a little. That'd be the grass. Yeah. But it just, it just. Mom, are we there yet? Ten more minutes.

38:58James Harrison:Only ten minutes? Can you drive slower? What's up with them today? Lingo Kids. That app we downloaded last week? They love it. The games, this funny baby bot character. Listen to the Dan Lebitard Show on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever it is that you get your podcasts. Power Slap 23 is live and free on YouTube on Thursday, September 17th. Dana White is bringing Power Slaps to Texas for the first time on the campus of Texas Tech University.

41:06Two massive title fights headline the card, including slap fighting legend Wolverine. Also on the card is former WWE champion Jake Hager and the debut of former UFC heavyweight Chris Barnett. You can watch Power Slap 23 for free on Power Slap's YouTube channel. Thursday, September 17th for the first time from Texas. Power Slap's biggest card of the year. Without that type of stuff right there and the communication and trusting each other, man, double teams will never, ever look good. You won't have a big enough lane because guys are trying to get out fast and get to the linebacker. So you're starting to see these guys really mold together.

41:38and it's a cooler process to see, you know, because I was a young guy before too, and, you know, you think you've got to figure it out until you actually get it figured out, right? So it's like they're on the right path and the trajectory, you know, to be able to go off the line.

41:50James Harrison:Matter of fact, thinking of that, I don't – another person I know doesn't get enough credit is Casey Hampton, dude. How difficult was it to block Casey Hampton? I couldn't block Casey Hampton. I don't care what anyone said. He's the best. He ain't bullshitting you, bro. You're not moving him. You cannot move him, bro. Even in pass rush, like, bro, I remember one time he – because, you know, he didn't do pass rush every single day. And then, obviously, you know, I came in the first-round draft pick and all this other stuff. So, towards the end of camp, they put him in there and go against me. And I'm telling you right now, he lifted me up.

42:22And when I came back down, I thought both my ankles broke. I'm just like – I'm just like, man, both them things went bowed out. I'm like, ah! He stops because he can hear the pain, you know what I mean? So, he don't even, like, finish and, like, bull rush me all the way and throw me, you know what I mean? But I'm going to tell you, like, people don't understand, like, how, bro, he could drop me perfectly. Like, when you hit his body, he's like Haloti Nata. Like, he's not a fat dude. Like, everything was brick hard on him. So, like, you're hitting him doing like this and, like, throwing your hands up and jamming your fingers, too, because he was rock solid, bro.

42:52I'm just telling you. Damn, bro.

42:54James Harrison:For a pounce, you know. It's not a game. Bro, he was fat. I know he looked that big out there, but, like, he could move. He wasn't like a fat slow dude, you know what I mean? Literally, his 10-yard start was crazy, bro. Him and foot would race damn near every day, man. It'd be 50-50. Bro, I'm telling you, bro. He was such – that's – he doesn't get enough credit. Like, real talk. All our guys – because a lot of our guys on our defense at that time and that era, they get talked about all the time. They truly, truly do. But I think the one person who doesn't is – As a matter of fact, too, is Aaron – The coldest.

43:25I tell everybody the coldest. And then Big Ham. They don't get it. Hey, Big A. I mean, I know Kiesel had the beard. He had the personality. Big A, dude. Big A, bro. Man, Big A with Lily, bro. On pass rush stuff, that dude, Lily coming in. He would lift your hand by your wrist.

43:42James Harrison:Bro, and Lily, by your wrist, walk you all the way back to the quarterback. It was crazy, bro. Aaron Smith, bro, I'm trying to tell you. Like, when he would – it would literally look like, dude, that – but it's going fast, but you would see it, and it's like he's literally – it's just precisely just grabbing the wrist and just lifting, lifting, and going back. That run game, trust me, you're not reaching him. He's going to literally run you all the way down the line and then run you into the running back. You know, it was just it was crazy to see, you know, how much of a technician because he wasn't the biggest.

44:14He wasn't the fastest. He wasn't the strong. But man, what he was is a technician. I'm telling you right now, he was going to dominate you every single play because he had his different ways and his different moves, you know, to defeat what you had going on. But that's that's the two people all the time. I say, man, never, ever get the credit they deserve. I mean, crazy.

44:28James Harrison:Yeah. Cody Sutherland, he's silver. He's back again. and two dollars. He said, what was the quarterback battle like between Tebow and Cam? They were together? Yeah. Cam was there with Matt. Listen. Our freshman year. Cam came in too. Cam was that dude. I didn't know that. It was kind of crazy because at the time, Cam was such a great player. He came to Florida and said, I'm going to compete with Tebow. I'm going to take his spot. He had the right mindset. Real talk. What happened with Cam? He had a little short little incident off the front lines. But at the same time, we also brought in John Brantley, a five-star quarterback uh his dad was a big-time booster there with the uf you know i mean so i think don't get me wrong i love brantley brantley his family i think he was a hell of a quarterback at florida you know he didn't have enough weapons like all of us had whenever he went to school whenever he went to school in his area because mike was there his last year with him uh brantley's one of brantley's first years but uh but what i will say man if they would have kept cam and i you know we all know why they didn't but uh man he would have won the heisman would have won another championship because he was that good of a player.

45:29I mean, he could throw the ball. He was fast as hell. He could run. Like, you thought Tebow could run the ball? Man, you should have seen Cam Newton.

45:36James Harrison:Yeah, we got Covenant Life. She back again. She said, Joe, bless your heart. I bet you're sweating under your arms. She talking about it. You see me keep wiping my forehead off. They done got me sweating. Pounce a bucket, man. Y 'all in the hazelnut and the brown. Y 'all do y 'all, bro. I know, man. Hey, Joe, this one's right here for you. What is that? I know. Evade.5 M. $2. Appreciate you. I can't believe they out there doing... 23. More wins for the Browns or the Steelers? Steelers. In your career? The Steelers. No, no. I'm saying in your whole career. I understand. I understand the question that you're asking me.

46:20James Harrison:How long was you with the Browns? I'm trying to figure this out. I was there for seven years with the Browns, and I was there for five years with the Steelers. How did you? Because in one season, my first one there, we won 13 games. And the most I won in Cleveland was seven. So that's not... Wow. You're going to pick y 'all over us. It's not... You're going to pick... Yeah. That's crazy. All right. We got Seth Andrews, 401. $10, appreciate you. My favorite moment of yours is when you and the cash... Bro, when you and DeCastro put a whipping on Miles Garrett. Man, DeCastro didn't help me out at all.

46:59I ain't going to lie to you.

47:04DeCastro trying to defuse the situation.

47:07James Harrison:I'm like, man, you're supposed to help me swing. Miles didn't even fight. I ain't going to lie to you, my man. Miles didn't even fight him back, bro. You had to stop punching. You felt bad about keeping the punch. Bro, bro, this is the craziest part. This is how the shit's so funny. Because, bro, I barely landed a punch. That's the craziest part, bro. If y 'all go watch the video, the Castro's pulling them. I'm swinging. I'm missing. And I switch it. Man, they find me six figures over six figures. Oh. But you ain't get the connect. I ain't get the D-boy. Yeah, I ain't. I think once you hit the middle.

47:38James Harrison:That wasn't it. I couldn't have did that. I couldn't have did that right there. Hey, I said, you leave me alone, I leave you alone. So that's just how it went, man. Zach, 4-2-7-0. You said, Ponce, you were real when you had Rudolph's back. Yes. We got KJ React,$2. Percy Harvey's story, what's that? Nah, that's just the coldest man that ever played in Florida. Okay. Oh, my God. Ever. Outside of Percy's the number one player offensively I've ever seen in my life and played with, but outside of him is Antonio Brown. Yep. Oh, yeah. And number three, Chris Rainey. Okay. Yeah, I remember Rainy. Dead leg Rain Man.

48:23James Harrison:Yeah. Remember that time? Then we tried to dead leg Major. And Major. That guy put in. Ooh. Ooh. Yeah. Larry J. Davis. P-O-Z-C - whatever. $5. Appreciate you, brother. Where can I get the Twin Pea whiskey? Do they have it in PA? The only thing that we sell the whiskey in is Florida and Georgia. In PA, we do have our JF Haydens. We just launched it every single Pramani Brothers. I was just up there for the second home game. I mean, the first second game of the season. Okay. You go to any Pramani Brothers on the menu is called the Pouncey Punch. It's a mango mezcal drink with Dos Umbres. But, yeah, we launched at all their locations.

49:08So, if y 'all, I know you up there. Take the boys, get one of them, the Permanent sandwiches, put the slaw, put the fries, and then you can get. When you coming back up? I'm coming. I'm actually, I ain't coming. I don't know if I'll be able to make it up to Pittsburgh until the end of the year, but I'm going to the Tampa game and Tampa versus Bucs. Okay. Bucs versus Bucs.

49:25James Harrison:Covenant Lights, she back again,$10. She said, Mr. 5-3, what do you think about Washington? That's a man. Joe, go ahead and give Mr. Five Three my address. And remember, this Browns suck. Remember, the Browns suck, but I love you. Five Three. I'm on the way. What's the address? James scares me still behind the scene. Behind the screen, sorry. I got my head, Mr. Joe. You don't want to see what's the address. Pass the address, dawg. I'm going to drop the Addy to you, pal. Drop me the Addy, man. Shoot me the pin. Yeah. I'll fly you in. She collecting jerseys, baby. Cody Silver, he's back again. $2.

50:16James Harrison:Give us a score prediction for Thursday. What you got, pal? 21-0. You know what way I'm going. Still a way. Okay, I hear you. What you got, Joe? What you got, D-Bone? I already told you. 28-10. 28, 10. 28, 10. Okay. You gonna give him 10? I'm gonna give him 10 because I know where we be, you know. 21, 20. They're my little brothers. Who? 21, man, get the hell out of here, man. Hey, boy, you gotta start, dog. I ain't gonna lie to you. That crazy as hell. Who? 21, 20. Who? He ain't even said who yet, pal. My bad. We're part of them y 'all people, so we know he's with us. All right. You gotta write it down.

50:58you got number two pants on. He ain't.

51:01James Harrison:Who? 21, 20 who, Joe? Show your card. Show your card, player. Y 'all keep, y 'all keep wanting me to tell. Here he go with this stuttering shit. I don't. Answer the question. I never see you get choked up like that, Joe. You all outspoken. Oh my God. I don't, because I'm flustered. Because I'm flustered. You said you was going to give us your prediction today. 21, 10. I mean, 21 to 20. Who? The Braves. Man, get the... But, hey, listen. But that's how I... Man, you got some Twin Peaks whiskey over there? Hey, hey, hey. Twin Peaks don't do that to you, man. I had it. I put it in. It don't have you that confused.

51:48James Harrison:I got it in here. All right, listen. He must have drunk about four bottles of it, Debo. Because this is... He done drank... Okay. I thought... Come on now, Joe. Listen, we all... Bob, you think the Braves are going to be the... I just put it out there. That's crazy. That's crazy. Now, listen, I don't care if you're going to root for them, but you can't sit here a lot of the people, man. You know what's going to happen. Evade.5M,$2 again, said, you should like the Steelers more, Joe. Come on. I like Vane. They can't tell me who to like. They can't tell me who to like, man. Yeah, okay, man. I love you, man.

52:26I thought you were going to give a true game, you know.

52:29James Harrison:Oh, man. For real, for real? For real, for real? Hey. Honestly. Honestly. He is emotionally invested into somebody that was not emotionally invested into him. And that's why they cut your fucking ass. Debo. That's why we got you. That's why we got you. That's why we got you. All right. It's all up. Okay. Who was there for you when they ain't want you? Who was there for you when it tips down? Y 'all was. Y 'all was, man. Y 'all was. Who called you? Coach Collin probably done shot you a text in the last year or two. Coach T hit me up. Yup, yup, yup. I know he said the podcast look good, didn't he?

53:07Yeah, he did. He did.

53:09James Harrison:He hit my phone. See what I'm saying? Did the Browns hit you? Did Hazen hit you? No, Mr. Hazen, I don't think he hit you. I know Dan Gilbert hit you. That for sure. Yeah, that's my man. You know it is with the Cavs. You know how we get down. See what I'm saying? That's family. A lot of our million. Let's hit this real quick. Heco Sante. He said Gators in the top 10. Yes. Number eight in the country. Yo. Jaden Ball. Future Stiller. Jaden Ball for sure. Yeah. For sure. And BB3. Third generation. And Heisman. Yeah. Yeah. 1 % milk. $5. 53:51James Harrison:9-2. You come to Cleveland this Thursday wearing the 92 Bumblebee jersey for Thursday. I'm not going to lie to you. I would not do that. I ain't got time to be, Gil. I know they going to do something. And they going to do something because they know that I ain't supposed to do nothing back. But I ain't going to listen to me not supposed to not do nothing back. I can't be in jail in Cleveland. That's what you did to the last Browns fan. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Debo, if you come with me, though, you know what I'm saying? I'm going to be there. We're going to be chilling. I'm going to have you nice and safe.

54:21James Harrison:I wouldn't trust that, Deebo. Joe, you victim weight. You already told me who you want to win. I wouldn't trust that. I get up there and start cheering because we got y 'all by 21. I'm talking goofy and crazy. And now all of a sudden, how we go fight our way out the stadium and you under 200? Nope, nope. Oh, he didn't even have you fight? He said he and y 'all do it. It ain't no we. He said he ain't from London. Yeah, that's what he said. Damn, the A-y 'all, they jump Deebo. Yeah, we were talking. Too many dogs, I tried to help. I tried to help, but I had time to go get security while they was killing his ass.

55:32Say, Joe, what day? Come on. That's what he said. That's what he said. Hey, we got some real other people out there. Bro, listen. When people are building something and they need other athletes and, you know, people that, you know, significant or whatever they call that other word, man, y 'all got to support people, man, because there's other systems that are set out there in place that already have a monster behind them. All my boys, everybody that's with us gotta come, man. Hey listen, tell him don't show up in no damn Browns jersey neither. No, bro, come on, Debo, why are you saying that? But I'm telling you, anything that's about my dog, Pounce. Oh, wait. Come on, Pounce.

56:49James Harrison:Oh, wait. What it is. I don't know. Gators. Go Gators. Okay, there it is. I know O-H-I-O. Yeah. We got a lot of businesses up there, so that is my second home in Ohio. Like Columbus, Ohio. Okay. Come on through there. Look here. We got Thursday Night Football, Pittsburgh Steelers, going on down there to Cleveland. We're going to have a good old time. Right around there, sitting on the lake. You know what I'm saying? I might show down there early that morning and catch me some fish, get me some walleye, some perch, fry it up, grill it up, and then eat it up and go over there and kick the Browns' ass with a full stomach.

57:29And then take the Browns to the Super Bowl after that, after it's coming.

57:32James Harrison:Yeah, yeah, yeah. Come on, D-Buck. Come on, pal. My bad. My bad. That's the best way to end the show. That's the best way to take the Browns to the Super Bowl. No question.
