In short
The hosts debate why Myles Garrett hasn’t practiced with the Rams since Aug. 5 (possible arthritis/swelling/wear-and-tear or meniscus), whether the Rams are being smart or too cautious, and how that affects expectations for a Super Bowl. They also react to the NFL Top 100 list (Garrett #1, Josh Allen #2, Bijan Robinson #3, Matthew Stafford #4, JSN #5, Christian McCaffrey #6, Micah Parsons #8, Jameel Gibbs #9, Patrick Surtain II #10) and argue about the ranking logic. They add college football eligibility/legal fallout: a Louisiana judge ruling against the NCAA, clearing a path for ex-NFL players to join LSU. They finish with NBA news: Kawhi Leonard/Clippers side-deal investigation, including a $700,000 fine and return to play.
Guests
No named guests appear; it’s just Deebo and Joe (plus references to other figures like Lane Kiffin, Greg Sankey/SEC, NCAA/LSU, and Kawhi Leonard).

3:05I guess my man Miles Garrett, they said he ain't practiced with Graham since August 5th. they got a doctor you know i guess somebody talked to a doctor jesse uh more i guess he speculated that uh it could possibly be uh i think it was arthritis arthritis was one i think it was just some some swelling of wear and tear whatever and then he said the big one the niscus so So, possible. Everything is possible. But we are on August 5th to the 4th right now. That's almost a month. They're saying the man ain't practicing with the Rams in almost a month. So, is it cause for where we're here?
3:54James Harrison:If you're out for a month, it's always a little bit of cause. That's never a good sign when you're missing this much practice. You know what I'm saying? When this is the time when you're getting ready for the season. You know what I'm saying? And so with Miles, he's been so great for so long, and he's been in the league for a long time. He's coming off 23 sacks. I think they're being a little more cautious and just trying to make sure that this is – as long as we want him to be ready for the long term, we feel like our team is solid. We don't want to have to rush Miles back. We want Miles Garrett at 100%.
4:25James Harrison:So I think that they're doing the right thing of just trying to be patient with him. But missing time like this right now, right before the season starts is never a good sign. Joe, how many people you know go a whole month without participating with your team before the season starts? If anything, it's usually that time that leading up to before you get to camp that you may chill in the OTAs and team act, all the other stuff right there. But once you get into that training camp part, you start ramping up. Like this is supposed to be the ramp up. like i don't think this is somebody you want out there and not have that ramp up especially with a number of plays that you know he plays on a consistent basis week in and week out that's not something he's just going to be able to go and jump right into and you got ad coming back and ad that's not something ad will be able to just ready and you know go jump right into and that's not something you want to jump out there and be like you know i know i'm gonna be Superman and just force it and make it.
5:32You can't do that either because you're setting your body up for one of those soft tissue injuries. And I hope that don't happen. I hope you don't go out there and play 60, 70 plays and pull a hammy and be out six weeks and then come back and then maybe pull it again another six and miss 12. And then both guys be out 12 weeks and then they're going to spend all that money and they don't get accomplished what the goal was, was just to win a championship because that's the only reason that AD came back is because he said they had a complete team already, and he's just come here. So anything less than a Super Bowl victory by Los Angeles Rams, health or no health, is a failure.
6:26Did you say health or no health? Health or no health is a failure. I don't think we went. I don't think they, I say we. I'm speaking as a GM. Let me stick with a GM, Adam. I don't think we went out there and spent all this money to come up short of anything less than a Lombardi after we just came up just a little bit short last year. And, you know, I hope this is not a situation where they don't even make the playoffs. I hope it's not. What do you think, Joe?
6:54James Harrison:Oh, you, Wala. I think that they're being the smart. I think that they're being smart, taking their time. And I think Miles, like you said, you're exactly right, Debo. But I think that with the Rams team, they know the long – they know the main-term goal. Matthew Stafford's healthy. Offense is going to be healthy. The woman in Aaron Donald, they have a loaded team. These are just additional parts. So, Trent McDuffie, Jalen Warren, they still got their corners. So, their team is still going to be solid. I'm with you. It doesn't look – obviously, when you're best player, that you just gave all the stuff for to come over to your team.
7:31James Harrison:That's the joke. Catherine Hickman, she's over there watching Miles not practice, and she's like, L.A. made me do it. Is that the joke? I don't know. They won the trade. They won the trade, huh? That's what they're thinking? I'm just asking. No, no. She's saying, I'm just trying to figure this out because this is defining, defining you know like like like kind of moment for you for you guys because like you're either telling me your awareness is gone it never was there and you're talking about through the whole organization which we know they brown browns brown but nobody had anything to say like hey not maybe not right now or like i said it was maybe they looking at it and they're like yeah go ahead where that because we know he ain't playing like we went on hit and they made me Because they gave me two first and they gave me J-verse.
8:30Listen, man, somebody go get the joke. We ain't got to say it out loud. I don't even know what it is. Yeah.
8:37James Harrison:I just don't. Just don't do it. We don't need to give anybody any ammunition. No, we just don't need to give anybody any more ammunition. That's all. That's all I ask. All I'm trying to do is prevent people from trying to shoot shots at us for no reason. You know what I'm saying? We give right here, we give them a little reason. Let's just take that reason away. Wear the Browns gear. Do the interview the same way you did. Perfect interview. It's just like, boom. Like, no, not the Rams, not the Los Angeles made me do it. And I understand. And I'm a fashion guy. I know that the hoodie is in LA. You can get it all the time.
9:14James Harrison:But you got to know and be able to read the room. Know where we at. know what climate we're in. Know we just traded away Miles Garrett to the Rams. Know what people are going to start saying about it. It's not, it's just clickbait. Just keep it away so we can be good to just talk about our football team. Please. Listen, y 'all. As much as you don't want to concede. Concede what? That's the reason she wore it. As much as you don't want to concede, y 'all. it's a reason she wore it what that reason is I am baffled I have no clue because like I say you got some people that are super super smart man like you got people that can hold conversations with rocket doctors and they can talk and be very eloquent but they lack yes but it's the sometimes Sometimes common sense ain't that common, and that's what be throwing me off.
10:22Hey, Joe, sometimes common sense ain't that common. What'd that tell you, Joe? Ain't it? What'd that tell you, Joe? Just come on, man. What'd that tell you, Joe? I tell him. Oh, man. Listen, Joe, I love your frustrations, Joe. I love your frustrations, Joe. I think she did it because Miles is out. That's what I'm going to go with. But I really don't understand the concept. But I'm going to go with it, Joe.
10:45James Harrison:I think she did it because she liked the hoodie, but that's just crazy. Joe, I like a hoodie that says something that it shouldn't say on it. So maybe I like a hoodie that says, I understand. I know, Debo, but I know. You can't do that. I'm not saying that she should have done that. I'm just trying to say why that she did it. And I don't think that she did it for the reason that you're saying it. I'm thinking that she just had a brain fart. Oh, man, this is a cool little hoodie that I got from LA. It's a little LA hoodie. I like it. Not the right move at all. But I'm hoping that's why she did it and not what you trying to say.
11:37James Harrison:Trying to play games. What? Nothing's funny. Hey, Joe. I don't know. I think they're just trying to say they want the trade and they just want somebody else to say it and not them. I don't know. Maybe that's what it is, Joe. Calculate a brain fart. It's crazy. And I'm going to tell you right now, I thought it was a great move by Andrew Brady. You know that? I thought it was a great move by him. I thought you got to take that. It's no other way. We talked about that in conversation. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It's not crazy. It was a good trade. We ended up, everything is going to be good. We're not talking about the trade, but...
12:17Why? Is it LA made me do it? LA made me do it. Hey, Joe, my awareness is kind of thin, too. So what I'm going to do, Joe, is I'm going to change my shirt and make like I don't know what it says, Joe. Okay? Let me... I make like I don't know what it says, Joe.
12:34Yep. Let me see what it says. I make like I don't know what it says, Joe. I think that's what she said, Joe. my last I think that's what she said there goes my last line you know what I'm gonna send her this shirt it's very comfortable it feels good on you and I'm gonna see if she wears it hers is kind of gray this is a little darker gray but it's a very very nice and comfortable shirt I think she would very much appreciate it like if you're running out the house you just got through with the kids you're in a rush you know you'd be hey bro wow you know I'm just saying bro hey
13:20James Harrison:yeah you got but you know the browns man that's the browns you know how the browns browns you know exactly I know exactly it says Cleveland going across my earth bum I knew that healthy on the hat knew it yes sir yes sir and then there goes Debo there it goes with the tossing of the butterfly hey I'm just There goes his last fly. Oh, my. What? I didn't even know it, Joe. What's up? I didn't even know I put this on. I'm sorry. I was just running off the open. I meant to put my Steelers gear on. I'm sorry about that. Listen here, man. The colors, you got mixed up with the colors. Black and yo, I thought it was said Steelers.
14:01You didn't pay attention. You just grabbed it. I just, wow.
14:05James Harrison:Imagine that. Got to be more careful. Got to be more careful. Look here, Joseph. The Louisiana judge ruled against the NCAA. They're clearing the path for ex-NFL players to join the LSU roster. East Baton Rouge, Paris Judge William Jourdain issued his ruling the night before LSU were due to submit its 105-man roster to the SEC, which last week they announced heavily, heavy potential punishment for football and basketball teams that will bring in ex-pros. The ruling clears the way for LSU to list some former NFL players on this roster. How many games might they be eligible for to play remains to be seen as a matter continues working its way through the course.

15:43Why did I search the internet for answers to my cold sore problem? Now I'm stuck down a rabbit hole filled with images of alarmingly graphic sores in various stages of ooze. I can clear my search history, but I can never unsee that. Don't go down the rabbit hole. Amazon Health AI gets you the right care fast. Healthcare just got less painful. Hey, this is Hayes Davenport. And Sean Clements. We host the podcast Hollywood Handbook on the Big Money Players Network. Our show is extremely accessible to first-time listeners. Each week, we talk to someone in show business, a.k.a. the biz, and try to help them with their careers and see what they have to offer us.
16:25Everyone has a good time, and no one gets mad at their publicist for letting them do our show. We've had a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman. Not that great. Actually, can you help me shape this? How about we flip it on his head? How about we flip the script? What if the surprise woman, who actually you think is the straight man,
16:44James Harrison:is actually the one who's acting weird? Adam Scott. This entire time, you've been expecting Adam Sandler to come to visit the show. I would never set expectations for something like that to happen. If the universe allows for something like that to happen, I'm open to it. I'm always going to accept. You know, Danny McBride, fine. Yeah. It's all this fragile masculinity exuding. I could smell it walking down the hallway to be honest with you. I was like, is that weed? Nope. It's fragile masculinity. Ben Stiller, no. Because a lot of times out of context, people don't get it or even know what a circle is.
17:28You know what I mean? Like they're like, oh, what's a state? Everyone's so dumb except for you. Right, fake and also not interested or just like, oh, I've got my life. I don't care about your life. And a lot of other big shots that wouldn't be where they are without us. Oh, and by the way, Will Ferrell told us personally he loves the show and he wants to be a guest on every episode, but he's just so busy. Listen to Hollywood Handbook on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. On the new podcast, Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman. I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle.
18:07I chose option B. I'm Julie Pinheiro and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word solita, trading the pity for possibility. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people and they were like, you smiled at us. Not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're about it. It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind or wake up to a new version of yourself. So whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous to book your first trip, I hope you listen to Solita on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
18:57Our town is small taters by most standards, right? But to the people who grew up here, it's everything. What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America. Developers with right-wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area. The first thing you see when it pops up is pioneers in Appalachia. But they weren't just planting houses. We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody the Christian way of life. Stop right there. Is that normal? A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment.
19:33God need men to rule. Great. And decides to fight back. Do not use my hard work to sell your bull. They're not just opposing what's being planned for here. Our hometown is not a test tube. They feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration. Guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you? Listen to Our Town on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Rude, he was not ready to issue them at the time. Jordin decisions followed a nearly nine hour hearing in a courtroom near the LSU campus in which the athlete after athlete took the stand to explain why they should be allowed to return to play college sports after playing pro.
20:26Joe, do you think this will stand? Why or why not?
20:34James Harrison:It is getting crazy, Debo. But this is the thing, like you said, too. SEC standing up on business, NCAA trying to stand on business. But here's the other part, Debo. All of these individuals, judges, are still going to be able to do their rulings. And that's why everything is still up in the air. The NCAA, none of their rules can be enforced. So that's what the craziest part is. I think right now with LSU, they're looking nuts because Lane Kiffin, he's going to do as much as he can to do to win. That's his main goal, winning football games. But with the SEC commissioner, you know what I'm saying, Greg and them dudes, the whole, all the other 15 teams not agreeing with the NFL players being able to come back.
21:19James Harrison:It's getting to the point where before the game starts, to, is it tonight or tomorrow? Them dudes got like at 11.59, they got to be able to see if they're going to be on that active roster or not. And if they're on that roster, then that's when the SEC is probably going to be able to enforce those rules where Blaine Kiffin going to get suspended. Half of their money that goes to the LSU football team is going to be taken away. So I don't think two players at the end of the day, like we say, aren't bigger than LSU. So I'm not thinking that they might not be able to get to the roster, but the biggest thing is players being able to come back.
21:56James Harrison:It's going to be a whole lot more dudes trying to do it. I think the fifth-year option thing, I think the one big thing is, it's not everybody, though, Deebo. Do you know what I'm saying? It's not like a free-for-all for if you play that league, you can't come back. Somebody else is going to come up with another reason why they should allow it. And it's just going to be one thing after the other after the other. And before you know it, you go ahead, guys in there getting six, seven years, whatever that may be. But once you go pro, man, you took your opportunity to go pro. Yes. Pro can. For sure.
22:26And when it comes down to it, the judge can make these rulings and all that at the state level. But I guess however they're looking at it, they said while the judge can order public universities to ignore NCAA rule, the NCAA is a private association with its own internal contract. If a business, if the school, if a school breaks NCAA rules to follow a state ruling, the NCAA can still punish that school's sports team. So they can say whatever they want to at the end of the day. When it come down to it, just can rule this and rule that. You can't tell me how I can rule my private business. That's like saying, hey, weed is legal in New York or wherever.
23:09You know what I'm saying? or, but if you go work for me, you can't smoke weed. My private business tells, that's my rule. You fill the drug test, you up out of here. So you can go with that. That's why SNC is so much LSU. Listen, and at the end of it, what's going to happen is like, yo, if you got that on there, they'll find a way to, same thing with the swords we do. Like, they're going to find a way around it to where like you know what you can have him on your team but i'm gonna tell you what's gonna happen we're going to make you ineligible for this and that and whatever it is in that process so that all your athletes are hurt so you can have four or five on your team and i'm not talking about just football they're talking about basketball and every other sport like when um the dude from um uh nebraska over there um uh danny he he put that statement out you had other people following the same statement like yo we're not going to play like we're not going to play any of your sports we're not even gonna put you on our schedule so now what you're doing you're killing a whole you're killing thousands of athletes for the perseverance of two or three that's crazy that's crazy like no i feel you and it's a couple of teams doing like texas doing it ucla
24:27James Harrison:had uh had to do the winter tryouts so i i'm not as if they come up with the rule like the sec did and they're saying, look, all of our, all of the commissioners, I mean, all of the presidents of the SEC from like Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, all those teams signed off to, we're not going to bring anybody back. And then if the commissioner, if somebody does bring somebody back, they're going to be fine. The team's going to be sued or whatever. So I can understand, I rock with that. Like if you're going to make a ruling, it's just that the NCAA, you got to be, as long as it enforceable, as long as they're enforceable, as long as they can make these rules that are forcible cool yeah uh oh i feel it flip yo the whole top 100 is out yes miles good 23 seconds broke the record number one number one in the 2026 top 100 number one period not defense not all number one period the last time that happened guess who did it ad A.D.
25:34Uh-huh. I guess the top 10 you got Garrett. Josh Allen at two?
25:45James Harrison:Bro, I'd be like me some Josh Allen, but B.J. at three? He's fumbling at a rock. Hey, man. They What? What? are you going with? You going with Matthew Stafford? Yeah! Facts. Facts. Facts. Facts. Facts. They got Garrett at one. I can understand that. They got Josh Allen at two. They got Bijan at three. Matthew Stafford at four. JSN. Let me try that. Jackson Smith in Jigba. In Jigba. They got Christian McCaffrey at six. Hookah at seven. Michael Parsons at eight. Jameel Gibbs at nine. And Patrick Sertan at ten.
26:41James Harrison:Mm-hmm.
Read the full transcript
26:46James Harrison:Solid list. Solid list besides the Josh Allen at two. I don't know what B-John at three, though. Who you going over B-John? I like McCaffrey better than B-John.
27:05James Harrison:to each his own.
27:10James Harrison:Passer 10. How is Mark the process at eight? He coming back from ACL. And what did he do last year? He was hurting. That's what I don't know. This is wild. Mike is the only one I, I mean, they just going off of what he can do. And I don't know. I think the top 100 is what have you done for me lately. What did you do for me the last year? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I thought this was from last year. That's what I'm saying, too. That's why I was like, obviously, Miles, if you want to go set the record, that's the only way I could think you can go over a quarterback because Matthew Stafford throwing all them touchdowns.
27:48James Harrison:The quarterbacks affect the game so much. And, I mean, that's just kind of what it is. And two, though, I don't even know how. How? He's the highest quarterback. No way, bro. I rock with Josh Allen, too. I do, too. But I ain't putting it. But you got to watch. Okay. I got to watch. At the playoff, at the playoff, John, he was turning the rock over crazily. Like, right before halftime, that ring, he's fumbling. Just don't even fumble, and they don't even get some points. Like, you kind of fumble up the bag a little bit. So, I'm like, you got to come off, like, not disrespecting, but still, like, come on, Josh.
28:29James Harrison:you got it to the promise, like, tighten up just a little bit? If you...
28:40You got a linebacker that was hurt last year that is at eight. That's crazy. I don't understand that.
28:47James Harrison:Yeah, that's the one that's throwing you. I can see your first receiver being JSN. I don't know. I just don't know why. I like McCathrey better over B. John as the first running back. If that's going to be your first running back, then I would switch the two. And if your first quarterback is going to be Allen, I'm putting Matthew Stafford there. I'm just going off a switch off of like, okay, if that's your first, then what should be your, you know what I'm saying? No, Matthew Stafford, I feel like he should be over to Josh Allen for sure.
29:28James Harrison:Besides that, Micah Parsons, not last year. Not last year, right. He's elite. He's elite. But it's just when you go by season by season, I don't know. Is that going into the season or is that from last? No, that's last year, buddy. That's the season that we just passed. That's the Super Bowl season. That's why Miles Garrett, he got number one because he got 23 sacks last year. Yeah, that's last year's performance. And looking at Matthew Stafford, he was the MVP. So I'm like, he was the MVP. So I feel like he played better than Josh Allen. So he would be number two.
30:11Maybe in your book and not in their book. Who vote this? That's the players. The players only, right?
30:21James Harrison:That's the players. See you again, bro. Listen. Yeah, there you go. I know what the players vote. I'm trying to tell you, man. if I'm just I'm being like I'm telling you man listen if I want my dude to be up there bro I'm a both of a kind I know I ain't gonna get none man I'm gonna put him at one he ain't gonna get nothing you know what I'm saying
30:43hey
30:44James Harrison:Debo Debo Debo I got a question I got a question bro did you see what was going on with your boy Kawhi Leonard I don't know what's going on there man listen I don't know what's going on either. I'm watching. Just tell me, tell me, tell me. You tell me what's going on. Tell me the situation. I was trying to figure it out myself. Because one of my dudes, the dude from ESPN, he wrote a crazy article about it. They know what's going on. But long story short, he only got to give back$700 ,000. You know what I'm saying? Baumer, the owner of the Clippers, he got suspended. for a couple of months,$30 million fine, and they had to give up five first-round picks.
31:32James Harrison:Because they was doing some backdoor deals. But I thought, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that, hey man, Kawhi ain't know nothing about this. But look.
31:49What?
31:50James Harrison:It was his Uncle Lou. or what I don't know what I don't know I don't know what I don't know what the uncle name is I don't know what I don't know what the uncle name is hold up hold up man because that's what they say but they saying it was a how much extra money was it coming through like 10 million not five million long boy at the end of the low 48 a year at the low 48 at the high at the low at the at the low 48 million the high 66 oh lord hold up So he telling me he didn't know where that was coming from? He thought it was just a... I don't know, man. That's basketball money, though. You know, we don't get money like that.
32:30James Harrison:Let me tell you something. You signing, and then you got another little... Listen, Joe, you know we got to shake like a stripper for half a meal. You know what I'm saying? They got the side deals. Hey, Steve, we hear your ass.
32:49James Harrison:They say, hey, that's my... My man, hey, look, all I know is this. The NBA, everybody did their investigations. My dog Kawhi came out and said he ain't know nothing. It was a misunderstanding. He got to take his$700 ,000 fine, and he is going to go play for the Toronto Raptors. And good business as usual. The owner is trying to sue, but since Kawhi did somehow, he's the owner. I don't know what they got going on with their CBA or the way that that thing works. But since Kawhi ended up saying everything was okay and washing his hands, they got them looking crazy over there, D-Bo. 700? You telling me, listen, Joe, you telling me y 'all gave me 48 that I, rather I knew it was good or not good.
33:36I ain't got to do nothing but pay 700. You damn right I'm washing my hands. You know what? I'm going to let this go.
33:42James Harrison:I don't normally do this. at the low, at the low, low, low, probably 33, but I'm saying, would you go to the, I'm going to send you to Jordan after this, 60 to 33 men to 66 men. He got to give back 70, 700 ,000. And now he can continue to play on his contracts. Listen, that money, he don't know where it came from. He had to do nothing for it. Like that's, look, it was a couple of other deals. Debo, look, Debo, Debo, I'm talking about the endorsement deal. whatever, but you're talking about Debo. They're talking about Debo. Eight million,$10 million deal, an endorsement deal with somebody, and you go over that, and you go one time, you sign you sign, do autograph signing.
34:28One time?
34:31James Harrison:One time. But also, maybe listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, Linda, listen, Linda. maybe maybe it was a situation where it was a super super fan rich super fan that's what I'm like Saudi Arabia you know how you go over there and that's what I'm saying that's what I'm saying you know like go work out with them the prince or whatever it is and they give you don't hate the plan be honest you don't feel as interesting as you used to maybe not as much fun or adventurous remember when you actually went out did stuff A Do More subscription brings concerts and comedy, sports and museums back to your life.
35:15For seven scrawny bucks a month, you get at least one pair of tickets to something great. Discover new bands, laugh, learn, do more. Why did I search the internet for answers to my cold sore problem? Now I'm stuck down a rabbit hole filled with images of alarmingly graphic sores in various stages of ooze. I can clear my search history, but I can never unsee that. Don't go down the rabbit hole. Amazon Health AI gets you the right care fast.
35:58Healthcare just got less painful. Everyone has a good time, and no one gets mad at their publicist for letting them do our show. We've had a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman. Not that great. Actually, can you help me shape this? How about we flip it on his head? How about we flip the script?
36:33What if the surprise woman, who actually you think is the straight man,
36:36James Harrison:is actually the one who's acting weird. Adam Scott. This entire time, you've been expecting Adam Sandler to come to visit the show. I would never expect. Let go of that. I have. I would never set expectations for something like that to happen. If the universe allows for something like that to happen, I'm open to it. I'm always going to accept. You know, Danny McBride, fine. Yeah. It's all this fragile masculinity. Exuding. I could smell it walking down the hallway to be honest with you. I was like, is that weed? Nope. It's fragile masculinity. Ben Stiller, no. Because a lot of times out of context, people don't get it or even know what a circle is.
37:21You know what I mean? They're so stupid. Everyone's so dumb except for you. And fake. I can wait four hours for the next bus, or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle.
38:00I chose option B. I'm Julie Pinheiro, and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word solita, trading the pity for possibility. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people and they were like, you smiled at us. Not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it. It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind, or wake up to a new version of yourself. So whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous to book your first trip, I hope you listen to Solita on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
38:49Our town is small taters by most standards, right? But to the people who grew up here, it's everything. What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America? Developers with right-wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area. The first thing you see when it pops up is pioneers in Appalachia. But they weren't just planting houses. We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody the Christian way of life. Stop right there. Is that normal? A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment.
39:26God need men to rule. Great. And decides to fight back. Do not use my hard work to sell your bull****.
39:55James Harrison:His autograph is worth what somebody's willing to pay for. That's his name, image, and likeness. I feel you, Debo. Who am I to judge? That's why when Kawhi saw the discipline that they gave him was$700 ,000 fine, and he gets to not give back nothing else, and he's leaving there, gets to go play with the Toronto Raptors? He said, please do not take my pocket money. That man hit them with his head, man. Thank you. Wash hands. He said, that was crazy. Y 'all wanted to catch? That was crazy. But Debo, left LA. He's playing for Toronto. Their owner is now fine$30 million. I ain't talking about nothing.
40:37James Harrison:Five draft picks and suspended for some months. So he's trying to figure it out. Kawhi done left him. He's good. Kawhi's chilling. You figured this shit out by yourself. Ain't nothing they can do. Y 'all gonna have to figure that out yourself. Man, I took enough of a beat. Don't come back for no more. Hey, hey, Joe. Man, look. Soon, look. Soon as they dropped. Soon as it dropped. Kawhi dropped his statement eight minutes later. Ooh. Yep. What? 700? Sorry, guys. Sorry about that. I didn't know. See y 'all in Toronto. See y 'all. Boy. Hey, Joe. Out of there. It's like, hey. Yeah. Debo, I'm not lying to you.
41:13James Harrison:What I'm trying to tell you is it got, yeah, like that. Yo, that's like when you get caught speeding. You know you're going fast as hell. And I pull you over. And he like, you know what I pulled you over for? No. What? Hold on. You know how fast you been going? No. Blinker? Oh, my God. I'm so sorry. I told you. Yes. I did not know. I did not. I had my crew. I knew I was going. Come on, man. Ain't no way. I'm telling you, I knew. I knew. I knew exactly the speed. Got to chill. Oh, my God. Are you serious? I wasn't even paying attention, officer. And he come back with that ticket that's only five over.
41:53Oh, yes. Thank you. Hey, here. Here. You want me to pay the cash right now? I don't even want to miss the court. I don't even want to get there. I'll get you right now.
42:05James Harrison:Hey, man. Hey, Debo. I'm trying to tell you. They got to watch out. They got to watch out for them side deals. They got to watch out for the basketball side deals, man. Hey, y 'all listen. Hey, if y 'all out there, listen. I ain't tripping on no side deals. I come on through. I ain't even go charge of that money. I don't need no more than 15 million. I don't even want 40. I need that. I'm less than half. Hey, man. Less than half. All I know is the Clippers right now are looking nuts just because it's all out and Kawhi is cooling. and he's about to just go out there, perform, play some more basketball.
42:44James Harrison:But really, Debo, I'm trying to tell you, the M's, not no little bit of bread. I'm talking about the big bread. I told you right now, Joe. We bringing on some side partners. We got to see side business deals over here. I'm going to give you this behind the cap. I'm going to bring you back 60. Give me 700, Joe. I'm going to bring you back 60. I don't care. The only thing was, look, look. first born again. I'm going to get that$700. No, no. It's an investment. It's an investment. I could buy it back. I could buy it back. It's an investment on your name, image, and likeness, Debo. That's what I'm trying to tell you.
43:20James Harrison:Keep walking into these investments. You getting it because of face value. You are Kawhi Leonard. Walking in hope. Ooh, okay. I'm back out with the bag. Look here, bro. Let's jump into these super chats, bro. We got Hecosante. He said,$5. Appreciate you, brother. He said, Joe. Yes, sir. It was said Browns cut you because you lost a step and was past your prime at 28, which proved them wrong. Happy you did it as a stiller. Thanks. Man, thank you for sure. They did. He glazing. He glazing. They did. And I had to go there. He glazing. Link up with the boys over there. You know what I'm saying? Go to the Pro Bowl as a corner in Pittsburgh.
44:08James Harrison:Show y 'all I still had it. You know what I'm saying? My bad we couldn't do more. It's my bad we couldn't do more. This is true. This is true. Because you went on here and got COVID. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Got to be more careful. You should have told nobody. I should have. I know. Got the whole damn league. I didn't want to be an ultimate spreader. Power spreader. I did. I didn't want to be the one giving everybody the V. Hey, hey, hey, Mike, Mike, 100, he came here and fired out. He said, Andrew should add to the trolling and wear the same shirt next person. Listen, he can't do that.
44:51They're going to fire his ass.
44:52James Harrison:Then it could be, then he would look out for sure. Then it would be a joke. No, hey, Joe, I can't look out that tough. No, for sure. Then he like, nah, nah, nah, nah, that's a little far. Yeah, I feel like I ain't going to put Andrew Love like that. Like, you can't do nothing like that. Matter of fact, hey, hey, they will be talking about that forever. Here, here, let me put this up here, man. Here go that Andrew Barry AI, bro. Y 'all tell me y 'all can see that thing, bro.
45:29James Harrison:Dang, bro. Yeah, I can. Man. That's my, you know, Andrew Bray, I can't even imagine my dog going up there like that because that's what I'm saying. There's no way. Oh, my goodness, bro. Andrew Bray ain't going. That's crazy. Hold up. I mean. What we got? Reno Soto, 7-1, 7-4,$2. Deebo got more hats than the Browns got wins. You right. Ay! In the history of the whole organization, organization, they franchise. Man, Debo, get out of here. You got a lot of hats, man. Tell me about that hat. Where'd that hat come from? This one right here? Oh, yeah. You know what I'm saying? Now, this Cleveland, this good old Cleveland, Elty, my gut man back in Cleveland, always doing it big.
46:20James Harrison:What about that one? What is that? One of those little poodles? What is that? What that little dog is called? That's a Shih Tzu? A Shih Nibu? No, that's a Cane Corso. That ain't no Cane Corso. Yeah, it is. That look like a smoked out Cane Corso. That boy ain't got no more. Cane Corso or a Bull Mastiff. That's right there. That's that Kiski prep. That's where my boy's at. That's where I moved him over to. Okay. I got to represent. I got to represent. You know what I'm saying? That too. I got to go out here and represent. What time? What time again? Seven o 'clock, man. Seven o 'clock. I need to get there by four to go ahead.
47:03Work on it. It's about an hour and a half, two hour drive to get there. You know? Yeah. OK. OK. Time to, you know, sit back, relax, get me a little bit of food. You know what I'm saying? They got a coach up there, man. Defensive coach, man. Guess what his name is? What?
47:22Swear it. Love it. Come on. I boo you now, bro. I believe you. Love it. Yeah.
47:31James Harrison:That's good stuff. Real name, I think it's Terry. Let me see. Let me see what Coach T is right in the name. I don't even know. I might not even have him in my phone as his real name. Now I think about it, it's probably Coach T. You know how you put it in there? Yeah. Coach T Kiski. Kiski Prep. It's Kiski Prep. Now, it's another Kiski out there. Now, it's the school. Oh, Kiski Prep. The school Kiski, now they trap. They bad. They the ones that you hang 70 on. Okay? I'm just being honest with you, man. Hey, Heckle Sandy came back with, man. He said$2. He said, you know what they call the Steelers, right?
48:18What they call them? The Dog Catchers.
48:23Steelers, a.k.a. Dog Catchers.
48:27James Harrison:Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I'm saying? I ain't gonna lie. Right now, right now, you know, we're going to, everybody, zero, zero right now. Everybody zero, zero. Well, your zero going to stay there. I'm going to holler at y 'all after week two. Your zero going to stay there, though, Joe. I'm going to ride with my dog. Your zero ain't going to never come up off. You lost your mind. Over 17. You lost your mind. And it's going to be a, I just can't, I can't get too excited. for the Thursday game. Because that game, that's the game I got marked on the calendar, D-Bow. Where is that? You already know where it's at.
49:08James Harrison:We're not going. What's going on? We're going 1 ,000 % to the land. 1 ,000%. Oh, I'm going to be up there. Like I said, I'm going to call Barry. I'm going to call Barry. We're going to get up there. And like I said, I'm going to come up in there neutral for him. I'm coming there neutral for him. Yeah, nice and neutral. But I'm going to be neutral. But I'm going to tell you right now, my talk is going to be real prerogative. Don't. Don't. Real prerogative. It's going to get shaky in there. Okay. You know what? I ain't even going to say nothing. I'm just going to move like that. You know what I'm saying?
49:53James Harrison:You know what I'm saying? Just chill. Just give it a little one-two. Boom, boom. I'm going to know you hype. That's all you got to do. Don't leave you talking crazy. It's going to be a good game, brother. And then I'm going to take your chain, too, after we whoop on y 'all. See, that's crazy talk. No, you're not. That's diabolical. I'm taking the browns helmet with the man cover that you got on there. Yeah, you lost your mind. I'm going to take that. And I'm going to go ahead and put Stiller's on that thing. I'm going to get all that popping. Because y 'all ain't got no logo. So I can make it mine easy.
50:35James Harrison:And Ebo, you ain't going to take my chain in my house. That's crazy. Not with all my friends or my security. You know good and well, that's the house that the Stiller's built.
