In short
The hosts debate NFL “uniform police” fines and player equipment rules, then shift to three news items: Chris Johnson’s ALS diagnosis, the Buffalo Bills’ decision to exclude OJ Simpson from their new stadium Wall of Fame, and Brandon Aiyuk’s criticism of the NFLPA/agents over withheld information about his 49ers guarantee being voided. They also discuss player-safety arguments for grass fields (citing George Kittle’s comments) and broader CBA priorities like healthcare and guaranteed contracts.
Guests
No named guests appear in this transcript. The episode is a conversation between the hosts (including “Deebo” and “Joe”), plus sports commentary from the hosts themselves.
Key claims
Uniform violations (knee exposure, socks/cleats color rules) lead to large fines; grass should be a non-negotiable for safety; the NFLPA should push harder for player health/guarantees; Bills’ OJ exclusion is a “fit”/PR decision despite Hall of Fame status; Aiyuk alleges his agent and the NFLPA withheld critical contract/voiding details.
Notable examples
Chris Johnson diagnosed with ALS at 39; Bills excluding OJ Simpson from Highmark Stadium wall; Aiyuk alleges his 49ers guarantee was voided; knee-pad/cleat/uniform examples; George Kittle on grass vs turf.

1:07Presented by the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Goodbye. When Kohler, global design leader in luxurious kitchen and bath products, asked me to be their ambassador for timeless, elegant, durable cast iron, I said, I'm in. Soon after, I was in their Kohler, Wisconsin foundry, watching molten iron poured, enamel applied by hand, and the beautiful finished pieces ready to ship. Since 1883, Kohler cast iron has been crafted by incredible artisans, and seeing it firsthand gave me a whole new appreciation for their craftsmanship. Now, I'm proud to lend my stamp of approval to my favorite Kohler cast iron products for their durability, beauty, and enduring style.

Sometimes dudes be out there with no socks on and, like, when, you know, it's like college.
3:18You have your calves out. Frank Gore, he was the most I've ever seen. Frank Gore was out there with drop socks on. He was out the whole thing down to the ankle. I know cats that cut the whole foot out. Yes! Take the bottom to the ankle and had no sock on their foot. See, that's when I'm... I had them ended up when I started getting fined by having my knee exposed, I had to get the stocking, you know what I'm saying, stitched to the bottom of my pants. How much was they fining you for exposing your knee, Joe? Man, it was probably like$2 ,500. $2 ,500. $2 ,500 to$5 ,000. That was the regular fine.
3:59$2 ,500. $5 ,000. $5 ,000. $75 ,000. And then it's cleats. The thing was crazy. I was supposed to be fine, niggas. If you think that was crazy in Cleveland, D-Bo, I would get fined for wearing all-white cleats because we was a black cleat team. I was like, this is the coolest thing I've ever heard. I can't wear all-white cleats. They say, no, we're all-black team. I said, this makes no sense. We have on a white jersey. You're going to make me wear black cleats? Are you going to fine me? I'm like, I'm not even trying to wear colors. That part, I'm like, all right, come on, league. Like, all-white or all-black?
4:32You can't knock off all-white or all-black cleats. Why can't you? But they did. So they did do it. I mean, you got to have majority of it to be black or majority of it to be white. Oh, my God. You know how, Joe? Yeah. You work for me. A thousand percent. You're going to wear what I want you to wear. A thousand percent. Joe. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I ain't telling you you got to wear a thong underwear. I'm telling you got to win the uniform that I want you to wear in front of these people to represent my business. No, no, for sure. Because I'll pay you millions. The uniform police is there for a reason because, dude, it does look nice.
5:11With the stripes on the socks, got to make sure you had the stripes. Is it worth$100 ,000 a game to you? Is it worth$200 ,000 the next game? No, sir. No, not at all. Not at all. Hey, you want to? Not at all. And then all these fines? Just the things about this, though. NFL charities or whatever it is, they get the money away to whoever. You can't even say where your money go no more. Like, you don't know where it go. This is what I'm saying. this is what I'm saying. There's fines where knees exposed for defensive backs, there's no such thing as a cornerback or a wide receiver that ever covered their knees.
5:45If you do, that shows you obviously don't know how to play. You know your knee pad is never covering your knee. What? Your knee pad is never covering your knee because you got to have full bendability. And all my ballers that touch the rock in the corner, we know. You can't, Have your knee pad come. D 'Y 'all want knee pads. Literally, that's literally slowing you down. D 'Y 'all want knee pads, Joe. I don't know why they hurt knee pads for DBs. There's knee pads for linemen or running backs. D 'Y 'all said they want knee pads. Linemen or running backs. DBs, I'm telling you this right now. We don't need thigh pads.
6:17We don't need hip pads. We don't need knee pads. That's just for running backs. That's for linemen. And that's for D-line. They would probably need it. But I know one thing. I'm going to speak for my DBs. we don't need no pads in our pants. That's for sure. I call myself going without pads in my pants because I'm looking at the OGs. I'm looking at P's and all them. Yes, I don't need none. Listen, one game. I did that for one game. You know why? Why? A damn heel spun around and hit me in my thigh. See, you in the trenches. You're in there. I'm outside. I ain't never not wore thigh pads or knee pads since then, bro.
6:59Ever again. No, for sure. That would happen if that happened to me. And it wasn't no, hey, you good. Sit down and practice. My leg, my whole leg swole up, Joe. And I had to practice through that. Like, whole leg, like, swole up, knotted up. They talking about some ice that, I'm not icing that to keep that stagnant blood in there. I'm bending that thing. Like, I'm making sure I'm trying to keep it flexible. I gotta move that out of there, bro. Listen here. I feel you. Listen, Debo, Debo, anybody that's in the middle with the cleats and all that stuff flying around, I'm just trying to tell you, I'm trying to be as quick and fast as possible.
7:34And those thigh pads and covering up my knees are not helping my head at all. It's not in my mind. Joe, it's in your mind. It's not in my mind. It's in your damn mind, Joe. I was out there. I played my whole rookie season with no thigh pads, no knee pads. Balled out. Six picks. Had the most picks of my career because I was flying. I was floating. So ever since then, you ain't been able to do it because I was making my knee pads. Ever since then, I wasn't able to do six picks because I had knee pads and thigh pads and too many pads. Stop that shit, Joe, man. Joe, Joe, stop that shit, man. It wasn't too many pads.
8:05It wasn't too many pads. Joe, stop that. Joe, listen, bro. Stop playing, bro. When I was a running back, boy, I used to wear all my pads. I had the hip pads, the foot pads. Double padded. Double padded. Bro. Like all that. If you're getting hit, if you're doing, if you're, I'm initiating the hits. Nobody's hitting me. I'm out there. Boom. I see what's, everything's going on. I'm tattooing. I'm in there. I see what's going on. Hold. Okay. Okay. Boom. I'm clear. Nobody stepping on my toes. I'm diving in. Boom. We're not. D-Bo, trust me. I got it. I got it like a, it's what I do. So I'm trying to tell you.
8:41Other DBs, they will relate a thousand percent. In the trenches, you need as many pads as possible. Find the hell out of these uniform dudes. Leave the cats that do stuff and play on accident. Drop them down to the equipment. They done raised the equipment fines, too, like$5 ,000 a hit, though. Oh, yes. I know it's in place. So now it's like a start of five, then it's 10, 15, 20. Yeah, and it's double every second of finish. Listen, they need to go$50 ,000,$100 ,000,$200 ,000 on the uniform violation. Then we don't see if we really need their swag then. I need to have my swag and all this stuff.
9:18So you're telling me you need to be$50 ,000 for a knee exposed? I'm going to give you a warning because you know you get warnings. Yeah, you get warnings. You get warnings. And then after that, I done gave you that warning. You done got that one warning. I have to wait$50 ,000. Don't come out here. It's just like that. You better look at that poster before you walk out that locker room. No, it's just what I'm telling you. Don't be disrespectful. Don't have it looking like you have on slouch socks. Have it all the way up above the calf, maybe a little knee. That's okay. I know you need to get that bendability.
9:52You need that flexion. We're hauling ass out here. We're running full speed. All that knee, all that's covering up my leg. You think it's in my mind though, huh? What? You think it's in my mind? Yes. The knee pad? Joe. The knee pad is foam, bro. It ain't even heavy. You can't even measure it on a scale. You got to put it on a food scale. You got to measure it in grams like you doing something else. Debo. What? Okay. I hear what you're saying, but I'm telling you this right now. There is nobody out there on Sundays that has their knee covered as a wide receiver or a defensive back. I will promise you that.
10:36Because you know how much longer your pants are going to look? Like, honestly, nobody's covering their knees at wide receiver.
10:49Joe, you don't believe me. Joe I don't care it's not a real thing you're not restricted you have something on you that's like saying hey man I'm restricted hey Joe I'm restricted I can't breathe I'm wearing this shirt I gotta take it off it's touching my skin what the fuck are you talking about no what you talking about that's not the same thing what why ain't it that's not the same thing that's not the same I'm about to lose I'm about to lose it I'm about to lose it I'm about to lose it Joe, I'm about to lose it I can't believe this so hey do your helmet restrict you you got it's heavy you can't turn your head no no no it's definitely less that you could do with a helmet on than without a helmet on oh my god Joe Joe it's different Joe I don't want to hear I don't want to hear it no more it's different Joe, I'm tired of this.
11:52I'm tired of this. It's different. If you put a helmet on your head and you have on your pads, you can't turn your head the same all the way around as you could if you didn't have it on. Am I tripping? You wearing big pads, Joe? No, no, no. I used to wear shoulder pads where, you know, the 90s and the shoulder pads sit like this. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. No, you don't have that no more, Joe. Y 'all, what y 'all wear? Y 'all don't even wear shoulder pads. I got the small pads. I got the small pads. Yeah, my... Yeah. My... I'm talking about you. I'm talking about you. I don't...
12:29I'm not restricted, Joe. You're not restricted? I'm not restricted, Joe. Okay. I wear all my pads, Joe. If somebody has on... Does a neck roll restrict someone? I ain't wearing no neck roll. I'm not saying you. I'm saying if a person has a neck roll on. Now are we talking about restrictions? I'll tell you what, though. I'm just trying to figure out if I'm... I had a big cowboy collar in court. college, boy. I had that thing. Did that restrict you? No. No? Hell no. I'm still putting them to sleep. Obviously, but you still couldn't. You couldn't see what was to the side. You would see a pad. I'm like this.
13:05I'm like this, Joe. How you like? I'm like this, Joe. I'm seeing it all. That's what I realized. You don't got that much rotation anyway. So nothing is getting restricted. What are you talking about? Joe, you make like you an eye when you can turn your head all the way to the back. Like, let me see. I'm further than you, Joe. Joe, I'm further than you, Joe. You playing with me, man. Man, I thought, yeah, you is about further than me. Stop playing, Joe. Yeah, but look, that's why I know I'm not - And then you got that old janky ass hip.
13:44You need to wear a hip pad. That's what you need. Hey, look, man. No. No hip pads for me, bro. No hip pads for me. Trust me. Hey, man. Look here. No pads, bro. Dang, D-Bo. That's wild. I'm just saying, man. I'm just saying, man. We got 240 people in this chat, man. We got 75 likes, man. Y 'all jump on them likes now. Look here. Oh, my goodness. Yes. I don't know. So the Buffalo Bills have decided not to include OJ Simpson on their wall of fame at the new Highmark Stadium. Bill's president of business operations, Pete Go something in a statement, said, we have made an organizational decision that he is not a fit to display inside our new stadium and family circle.
14:32Simpson played for them. He first played in 19. He was added to the wall. Sorry, in 1980 after 1980. Okay, so, Joe. They not adding him to the wall, Joe. I ain't into in the new stadium. I guess he's obviously already there in the old one. I don't understand this. They may like he killed somebody.
14:59He didn't. Not guilty. I don't even know what they're talking about. Like, I don't know. I mean, I know it. I know it. You must have quit. they said. Hey, listen, bro. If the judge don't quit, you must have quit. I didn't say it. This is a personal decision. You know, by the, I don't know why they putting it on the president because really when it comes down to it, the president is probably the owner. And when you look back and you look at now, like, the NFL, they still got the man in the Hall of Fame. Like, they. Like, what is we talking about? President of business operations. So if this don't go well, they go put it on the president of business operations that he overstepped his boundary and we we made a change because the fans or whoever didn't like it and that's i think that's that's the route that's going to end up going you know what i'm saying that's just i mean listen people i don't want to hear it i don't hear it look hey mark firman y 'all boy my friend your boy joe my friend hey listen you can't you can't you can't do all that lying on their own like that but once god and all them people in front of all that and then you go start pleading the fifth on questions like hey have you ever you know this is tony ao from the real report with tony ao and uncle murder you ever notice how everything keeps going up rent's going up streaming services are going up even your favorite burrito spot suddenly thinks salsa should cost extra but with boost mobile you and your phone bill don't have to play the will it's go up soon game because boost mobile has an unlimited talk text and data plan at a price that'll never go up.

We cruised around LA in the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and dove into the fascinating life of actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr. Want the full story? Take a listen. Hedy, she starts dating Howard Hughes, the aviation tycoon. Do you know a lot about him? I mean, I watch The Aviator, so I know everything Leonardo DiCaprio has allowed me to know about him. But incredible innovator. Right. She says he's a, quote, very strange man. But they do get along really well. Give us examples.
17:42I know. They do get along intellectually. And in fact, she helps him design a faster plane. She takes a look at what he's designed. It's got these square wings. And she's like, that doesn't make sense. And so she finds the fastest bird and the fastest fish and sketches out a drawing of like what the two would look like as a plane. And that becomes the plane that we know today. And he calls her a genius. Check out our new episode spotlighting groundbreaking innovators like Hedy and Lamar and Billie Jean King. Presented by the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Goodbye. When Kohler, the global design leader in luxurious kitchen and bath products, came to me and said, Martha, we need an ambassador for our timeless, elegant, durable cast iron products.
18:27I said, I'm in. Now let me see the factory. Weeks later, I was suited up in coveralls and work boots, walking through their Kohler, Wisconsin cast iron foundry. I stood next to the molten iron furnace, saw the hand applying enamel, and touched the gorgeous finished products waiting to be sent out into the world. Since 1883, Kohler cast iron products have been forged and finished by the incredible craftspeople right in Kohler, Wisconsin. I'll tell you, I gained a newfound respect and appreciation for Kohler's cast iron craftsmanship. So now, I'm lending my discerning staff of approval to my most beloved Kohler cast iron products for their durability, beauty, and timelessness.

20:43I mean when you do that and that's your style of witness you know listen I'm just telling you not guilty I don't he's still still in the still in the Hall of Fame not guilty court of law how do you get how do you get wrongful death if you're not guilty that's crazy anyway I don't know but look when it come down to it man I feel like I feel like he should he should be in there he's in the Hall of Fame Yep. He remains in the Hall of Fame. You know, I'm just, you know, what is it? Two thousand three yards, brother, in 14 games, 143. Like he's in there. You got him on the wall because of his play, not because of accusations.
21:34That's what they say. Like, it's play. Like, what are you talking about? You ain't going to have him on the wall? Business president of business operations? I know you ain't got that much pull. Ain't no way. If Joe was the top of his head, one of them in there, he'll be in there. Tell me about it. What do you think, Joe? What do you think, Joe? What do you think? You think he should? How you going to erase that man's legacy like that? And I mean, and then put it on, then put it on the president or something like that. Operations. Because if the owner wants that in the building, that will be in the building.
22:10So I think just putting it on the reason why, like if you don't like it, you own the joint, you can do what you want. But I would feel like he's in the NFL Hall of Fame. Was he guilty? Was he innocent? He got proven innocent. So, I mean, NFL got him in there. And I mean, if you personally own the team, not guilty. If you are not guilty, if you are the owner of a situation, you can have whoever you want in your building. So it's kind of, I think that's more, it's your personal decision. You got a feeling sort of type of way, boom, you don't have to have him in your spot. But NFL, he not guilty.
22:48He's still in the NFL Hall of Fame for what he did on the football field. And accusations, all that. But then in the court of law, it said not guilty. So, I mean, you could do what you want, Mr. Bills, for sure. I'm not here to tell you how to run your stuff, who to put in your Hall of Fame, or what do you want to do. But that's just, yep, what it is. Well, the Bills fans, I think, would dictate if he will be put in there or not, depending on how they respond. They respond, for sure. Right now, you know, it's so much they listening to what the media and everything else say. They'll go on and do or not do, depending on how the reaction comes from that.
23:26But 2 ,000, 3-yard, 14-game. Damn near 144 yards a game, 143 yards a game. Stop playing. Like, that's 2 ,400-something in 17 games? Yep. Stop. And then the highest is Dickerson, right? Uh-huh. Eric Dickerson, he got a 21-05, and that was in 16 games. So two more games, only 102 more yards. if OJ had an extra two games that would have been another another 186 yards he was running crazy running crazy it wasn't about that on the field yeah man listen end of the day they gonna get shit if he in there and they gonna get shit if he not in there so pick your poison but pick correctly and don't change cause then it's gonna make you look weak no backbone know stand on something or fall for nothing stand on something or fall for anything stand on something to fall for nothing nothing hey you like boo me once shame on me fool me twice she can't fool me again hey can't fool can't get food again Can't get fooled again.
24:48Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice. Fool me twice. Can't get fooled again. Can't get fooled again.
24:58Thank you, brother. Damn. Listen, man, your boy Brandon Ayute. Yes. He had a message for the NFLPA. Members of the union that is in place to help players is lying, withholding information from a player on behalf of the team alongside a certified agent. That's some straight BS. Some players have no other place to go for information or help and are relying on the union to help them continue advancing in their careers and lives. I'm sure there are great members of the union. So this message does not pertain to them, but the ones in my specific case. this cat basically said if you're reading this if you're reading into this correctly if i'm reading into this correctly iuke is a legend that his previous agent who also represents who also represents 49 gm john lynch withheld information from him that the team had voided the rest of his guarantee money left on his deal with the 49ers last july and that it was at least a big part of the reason he cut ties with the agent and the 49ers last November when that information was eventually revealed to the public.
26:13I certainly don't think that Ayut has been helpful, has been helping his cause with his recent behavior on IG, but if true, I think he definitely has a legitimate gripe here. On the other hand, though, this is what actually if this is what actually went down why hasn't Ayuk taken any legal action bruh please Debo go please you go first you go first because I want to go too I want to hear what you want to say to this because I know you got something to say bruh what's up bruh he's saying that he he didn't know they didn't that shit was news like November like ESPN NFL Network, brother, they said your stuff was voided.
27:04Yeah. They said that, like, I think you knew that. I don't know. Like, he's saying, I don't know what he's saying. But I just think, dude, I don't think he knew. Or he might have actually not knew. I think it came time. I think right now might be the time for, like, his bonus or something. Uh-huh. And he's like, yo, where my money at? And they're like, that shit gone. It's voided. You lost that. So now he took off instead of just, I don't know if he was paying attention. but I mean, it don't really surprise me, dude. What he's doing, there's no way he's getting back in there, bro. There's no way.

27:36Like all the stuff he's putting out there, what he's saying, like who's going to pick you up? No. He's wiling out right now. My whole thing is - Right now? If the agent, if the, I'm just trying to figure out when you start, if it is, like he said, if it is that his agent was knew that he wasn't going to get his signing, wasn't going to get his$23 million voided you know what I'm saying, before he did was it just his actions that was making this happen? You know what I'm saying? Like not going They said he missed it was certain stuff they had to do, so it was like treatment stuff to come to, all that other stuff.
28:23So he basically voided it. So you know how they get you You do something wrong here, you do something wrong here, and then they hit you with conduct detrimental because you continue to do it. I got you. That's probably what he ran into and didn't realize what the hell conduct detrimental was. So that's what I'm saying. As far as it being your agent's fault or you not knowing or you thinking they're in cahoots, it takes your actions to get this whole thing started. For you not to be going to showing up to the rehabs, talking and communicating with the teams, you know what I'm saying, being there.
28:53That's what gets your contract voided. So it takes kind of to the tango. So, I mean, if you aren't showing up to your team and you're not going, why that's that's conduct detrimental. That's something that's in the contracts where you can get your money taken from that. So now you lose guarantees. Why did my agent has nothing to do with your agent? Those are things that you did that when you signed that contract, you knew that you have to be there. You have to comply to certain things with the 49ers for them to make sure that they paid you the first 60 million. And then this next 24 that's supposed to come, that's going to come in the next year.
29:29But if you don't do things to this contract, you know what I'm saying, we could take this away. So the cahoots part in knowing what's going on and them like, I'm just looking at it like, if there's a real case where something was going on, go get legal action. That should not be okay. But I'm looking at like, is it you first that it takes you to not show up to things and not be in communication with the team to then do something to get your contract voided? You know what I'm saying? So I'm just looking at it from, but if you do have a situation where your agent and the general manager of the 49ers were in cahoots working against you to be able to do something behind the table to get your contract voided and didn't tell you your contract was going to be voided, then you should go get legal counsel and go sue them and we should go be pursuing that.
30:23But if they, if I don't, I don't see, I don't know. They didn't tell him. Everybody knew. Everybody knew. Everybody knew when it was reported two, three times in November, brother. What are we talking about? They voided his 2026 guarantee. They said that. That was in November. What weren't you looking at, bro? If you're saying you just finding this out now, well, you wasn't paying no attention. That lets me know how much more you weren't paying attention and lack of understanding. Like, come on. Yeah. Yeah. I just, yeah, bro. The way he's going, man, I don't even see him being able to get back in, bro.
31:08He's done. Like, I can't even chance that, bro. I can't. And even when we was talking about just the way sometimes they always, they say to coach, you know, Kyle Shanahan, he might be a certain way. And there's coaches that I play for, Eric Mangini. like when you go to the facility there's certain things that you got to wear team organized, team issued team issued to the meetings some teams, they don't care, you can just walk in there how you want, you know what I'm saying, long as you're on time you know what I'm saying, grown man stuff so some coaches, when you go to practice you have to wear a certain pair of shorts and you wear a certain pair of shoes you know what I'm saying, and that's just the way Eric Mangini rocked, we couldn't wear visors at practice, we couldn't wear certain like, certain color shorts, and I would want to because it's like, but it's like, no Like, it don't matter how good you are, everybody's in here wearing the same thing.
32:01And when you start getting the deals and getting the contracts, like, I would see where Brandi Ayoub came to the practice in the different shorts. Once you start getting it and then start taking the shorts off and just, like, because he just wanted to. So how do you go from listening and practice, Joe, to wearing what you want in the games and getting fined? Well, look, it was sometimes I felt comfortable. If my knees weren't, yeah, I don't know. I don't know. Some of the stuff was just. Damn, Joe. Damn. I ain't know what to say. I ain't know what to say. Sometimes I just wanted to look cool like Debo.
32:34I wore the visor on Monday Night Football because I'm like, a lot of people are going to see. Let me throw in the visor because I thought it was going to look sweet. If I wore the all-white cleats, it's because the cleats look better with the uniform and I felt the cleats was sticking, so I'm going to wear the cleats. I'm like, all right, you know what? Five bands for me to feel good, comfortable in this game. Let me go get a pick, and I'm going to hopefully make it back on the next contract. So I was thinking crazily. So I don't need to do that. But I was. You were saying, I'm going to pay this fine, but I'm going to get it back.
32:59I'm going to pay this fine, but I'm going to get it back, though. Because I feel good. Look good. Feel good. How you going to get it back when you ain't have to pay it? You could have had it. How much money you done paid in fines, Joe? It was dumb. How many millions you done paid in fines, Joe? No, not millions. Not millions. Not millions. Oh, how many hundreds of thousands? Not even hundreds. Probably around a hundred. Probably around a hundred. Probably around a hundred. Now, listen. This is a hundred, y 'all. This is a hundred bands, y 'all. when their fine was$2 ,500. That tell y 'all how quick he was with it.
33:29If they gave him that quick$150 ,000,$100 ,000, he would have stopped that immediately. Oh, for sure. For sure. I would have had on the all... All black would have been the only police I had in the facility. You would have spray painted them off. Everything. For sure. Blackout. Blackout, brother. George Kittle spoke out on the NFL teams being willing to use grass for the World Cup matches, but not for their own football players. We made it clear that we prefer grass fields. We know it's better on our bodies. And clearly, we know it's possible based on everything that went into putting down grass fields for the World Cup in each stadium.
34:17At this point, it comes down to the NFL making it a priority and choosing to invest in us as players because our bodies are our businesses, which they get to capitalize on. No, it is not your players, the owner's responsibility. It's actually the NFLPA responsibility. They are the ones that go in there and say, hey, this here is something that is a non-negotiable. What did we say last time when they came in, when FIFA came in, FIFA came in, they said, hey, this is what we're talking about. There will be no turf. That means no money, no worldwide coverage. Y 'all doing all these international games because y 'all want worldwide coverage.
35:05Again, the same thing they've been telling the players or they should be telling these players right now. The contract is up. The CBA is up in 2030. They're trying to get a deal done. Why are they trying to get a deal done now? Because they know our leadership is trash, and they'll do a deal that is 100 % out of the favor of the players just so that they can keep position and power and help themselves. No player or no deal, I should say, should be done before the 2030 season. Like, it should not be a deal done until they lock us out, to be honest with you. Unless we're getting 100 % of what we want, okay?
35:47Right now, they should be telling them players, 30%. Everybody, say 30 % each year all the way up to 2030. So that way you can withstand 18 months of getting locked out and not getting paid that you're good to be able to play and hold out. So that at that point, you can then get 100 % of what it is that you want or at least 90 % of what it is that you want in your favor. And by then it's going to be a hundred because you're going to be not sat out a whole year. They won't be making any money and they got TV contracts and everything else coming up. Why do you think they trying to get these deals done so fast?
36:21They know that leadership, we just got his trash or that they just got his trash and they know they're willing to go up there and make a deal. Shit. If I'm an owner and I've never, I never played the game. I'm doing the same thing, bro. I'm not making a, yes, I want to get a deal done sooner. if you're going to play ball with me and give me another bull 10-year deal. What unions do 10-year deals, man? Three, four, five at the most, bro. It's no way, dude. 10-year deals, and then on top of that, on top of that, bro, it's not even a good deal. We're doing, or they're doing stuff just simply to make sure they can hold position and power.
36:59All the rules that have been changed that have benefited anybody has benefited more to execs in the NFLPA than it has the players like it don't so they do a deal before then it's crazy tell your players right now save 30 each year so that you can last 18 months because that'll save you about 140 150 of your money over that time when the new cba will come up do and they go lock you out or you'll lock out if you don't you're not going to get and that's why you don't have grass field it's not the And it's not the NFL, it's the players or the representatives for the players, the NFLPA, that are going in there and saying, oh, this is a non-negotiable.
37:44They're not saying Fields is a non-negotiable. We can negotiate out of that. Let's be honest, though. You got cats that took this away so that I can smoke weed and not get suspended. Yeah. What? That was the grass fields. What do you think, Deebo, should be the main things that the players get out of this? This is Tony A.O. from The Real Report with Tony A.O. and Uncle Murda.
39:35I know. Goodbye. I sat down with Alon Cohen, who leads research and development at UFC, to discuss the complexity of using technology to analyze fight data. With kick to the head, it makes contact with the outset of my arm, which I brought up. In our world, that's a blocked strike. Yeah. But teaching a computer what exactly that means and when and how.
41:58Like, when my arm is up, that's a block. When my arm is down and hits my shoulder, that's not. It's those nuances that proved incredibly difficult for machines to be able to handle for a very, very long time. That is until IBM entered the octagon. 43:02They need healthcare. They need longer healthcare. Okay. Okay. Guaranteed contracts. Ooh, that. So, damn. Fully guaranteed contracts. We're the only ones. Basketball is fully guaranteed. Basketball is fully guaranteed. Hockey is fully guaranteed. We're not. Okay. We make more money than we used to. We at least equal to or just a little below any of the other two sports together as far as how much money they make. I got a question, Debo. Would you be, this is just throwing it out there for the contracts. Would you be against if they was like the, instead of, you know, how already say a five-year$50 million contract, 25 guaranteed.
43:48Would you feel, well, let me say a three for 60 with 30 guaranteed. Would you just feel better if we just started doing contracts three for 30, fully guaranteed? would that be something that's like you would want that joint to do? I'm not lowering the money. I'm not lowering the money. Why would I lower the money? Baseball keep going up and giving more and more and more money. Other sports keep going up and giving more and more money. Dude, we're on every platform, dude. We're in all like, dude, they're trying to get it. That's why they want to do FIFA. Why? We want to get that audience. They want them to see football, realize this is a stadium and wherever it is, blah, blah, blah.
44:23Like, yo, this is why we're expanding overseas, bro, is to get more money, dude, they want more paper. And they feel like they don't... It's... What is it? They said it's almost $1 ,000 here just to get all the games if you want to watch a whole season because you got to grab so many apps. Like, what are we talking about? Nah, I'm with it. I think for sure, for sure, what you're saying is that the NFL PA needs to push that as a non-negotiable for the turf fields, the same way that the World Cup people in FIFA did it. Because end of the day, like you said, I mean, if... A smart person knows that you're going to be able to take care of your business.
44:58Your business is your players there. But with the owners, they're thinking about, too, when they have the turf. Okay, we're using the players for sure, but now they're using the... If we're talking health, Joe, if we're talking health. Yes. All right? We're talking player safety. Health and player safety. It's instantly grass. It's instantly grass. It's instant grass. Instant grass. But that's what I'm saying. Because you're not balking on finding the dog pissing shit out of guys for hits.
45:28what are we talking about instant grass dude the upkeep is gonna be what it is that's what y 'all gotta do man health care needs to be longer than five years after you're done playing that's crazy but the guys that don't have it like that i'm just saying that the nflpa obviously we should do that but i'm saying even looking as the owners if the owner own the joint why like just i think grass would be better for the owners that own the facility to be able to have grass for their stadium. Do you know what I'm saying? No, not because they can't because of the other thing. You got to cover it. You got to do a whole bunch of stuff, other stuff.
46:06Think about it. Terry Jones had grass inside the stadium that he uses for everything, multiple. That's a lot more, you know, build up, cover up, all this other stuff. You know what I'm saying? And then like, you know, Arizona, they got one you can roll in and out. I mean, do it that way. I don't I don't I don't I don't I don't I don't know, but it should be 100 percent grass across the NFL period because, you know, that it is 100 percent safer for the players than turf. We're talking about player safety and health. If that's your main concern, what you've been preaching and gawking about since 2009, when you started finding the piss out of me.
46:46Show us. They shouldn't even have to say, hey, it's a non-negotiable. You should jump in there and say, hey, we care that much that we doing this without having to be forced in all the other bulls. That is what I was saying. But it's like you were saying the same. I'm like, the money for them to be able to use Jerry Jones' facility for concerts, for World Cup, for all of this other money, he's making so much revenue. But out that 16 games during September to December, they're only going to have that stadium. So that's four months. He has it for another eight months where he's making bread in there.
47:25So at the end of the day, I feel him where he, as an owner, I'm money making. But I'm like, with you, are you going to know what's better for your players? Like to keep your team healthy? Like that is still a good thing where you're saying like you should come in for the knowing that it's right. I'm like, I don't think they're doing that. Like, you know what I'm saying? So we want them to do it, but they obviously aren't. Yeah, dude. Like, it's like the healthcare, dude. Like, did you see the article that just came out with Chris Johnson, dude? Oh, I saw it this morning. Straighthand? Yeah, I saw it this morning, bro.
48:12That's crazy, bro. He is diagnosed with ALS, bro. Like, 39. Like, just last year, bro. I just saw this cat, man, at the Super Bowl in New Orleans, like, last year, February, bro. Like, I sent you the picture, bro. Like, what in the world? Crazy, bro. Like, all I wanted— Caught me completely. Dude, here's the crazy thing, bro. And his health care is about to be up in a few years, bro. he's going to have to figure out how to pay for his own health care when did he retire was it 20 22 no no no no it was no no it was before that he retired in like 14 brother no way yeah yeah yeah his health care is already up TJ retired in like 14 mmhmm dude that's crazy that's crazy and a lot of that stuff repetitive head trauma dude like Like, come on, bro.
49:11Yeah. That was so sad, bro. You talking about the safety, bro? Like, show us, man. Get the boys grass. You can't even get them grass? My man over here, ALS, bro. 39. That's crazy, dude. He said he went to the doctor, bro. Just last year. Like. Yep. Numbness in the hand, dude. Numbness in the hand. Yep. Bro. Wow. I seen that because, Debo, like you, when you texted me and when Risa hit the chat and I was like, oh, did y 'all see this? I'm like, no, I didn't. Then I looked. Because the same way you said, like, I know I saw him two years ago at the Super Bowl and you sent the picture. I'm like, I saw him two years ago.
49:52And CJ is one of the realest, one of the nicest, one of the coolest people that I met. You know what I'm saying? Just humble, floater boy. Like, he was just always nice and just had that energy. You know what I'm saying? And so, you know how when you don't see nobody for a long time and then you see him, it's like you saw him before. You know what I'm saying? Like, I saw him probably in 13. You know what I'm saying? When I first, like, probably third year in the league, he was going out. And then I seen him again, like, two years ago at the Super Bowl. And it was like, yo, what's up, Joe? Boom, boom, boom.
50:21Just happy energy. And then for me to just go and just, you don't know what you don't know. You never know what people are going through and how fast, dude, they hit you out. How fast things could change. Like, all of a sudden, like, no, I just saw him. That's not. And then it's like, no, that's CJ. So it really just puts you in a spot where it's like life is happening. You know what I'm saying? Always just trying to keep that good energy, keep that good vibe because you never know, you know what I'm saying, what's going on. So that joint just really hit me fast. Him being from Miami, him being super cool and me seeing him two years ago.
50:55And it's like, damn. So just prayers out to him. Yeah, prayers out for sure, man. For sure. Big prayers out to CJ. Let's jump into these super chats, man.
51:12Jonathan's shop or shoot? Hoop? Jonathan's hoop? Jonathan's hoop, I guess. $2. Said Devo controls the pads. The pads control you. Okay. Facts. Right, okay. Facts. apparently the past control Joe. Joe you let the past control you at least in your mind they may not control you actually physically on your body but you let them touch your body and let them your mind which then controls your body because your mind is in the neglect of being able to flow freely because something is touching it. I need to take my shirt off if it's touching me. I can't breathe suffocating. Alright. Likely right. Two dollars.
52:05Joe, I'm 14. Could I have a jersey? Stillers F. Browns. They want a jersey. He want a Stillers jersey. F. Browns. See, hold up, Mr. Likely. That's not the way you're going to get the jersey. You got to come more correctly than that. That's just. He's 14. He's 14. I understand. I understand. Don't let him talk to you like that. That's what I'm saying. I can't let a little man talk to me like this. Yeah. Give me a jersey. Give me a jersey. Give me a jersey. Give me a jersey. A Steelers jersey. Like you right, you'll be likely getting an ass whooping. Man, likely. I might got to see you. No, that's no, I'm not going to tell no kids, man.
52:45Likely. What are you talking about? I'm whooping ass, Joe. They going, hey, man. Yo. Them words ain't going to hurt me. Them words ain't going to hurt me. Your kids come to my house. Your kids come to my house. They stay with me. They are now under my rules. They're under your rules. They can get that ass spanked. See, I'm going to tell you this. My kids going to be over there disciplined. My little little kid going to be like this. And that's what happens. I ain't never got to do nothing. Man, ain't going to be no noise made. They going to be sorry. They come over there. They bring their kids over.
53:18They be like, man, you don't never act like that. Like you told them the rules was. They show some respect. Oh, they do. Hey, look. They do got it in them. They do got it in them. They ain't playing. They ain't dumb. They know who to act with and who not to act with. Right. They're going to go over there and try. No. Listen, I'm going to tell you something, man. My kids had two different personalities. They had their personality when they was with their other side of the family. Then they had their personality when they was with my side of the family. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. I get the call.
53:53Hey. He said this and that. Listen. Oh. Calling me, using me as a threat. Y 'all better start whooping some ass. I ain't never heard him. He ain't never said that over here. You better protect your house. You better whoop his ass. Come on, man. He talking to you. He ain't talking to me. He ain't talking to me. We got understanding on this side. No question, brother. Look here, man. Hey, guys, tomorrow we will have David Montgomery join us on the show. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Where he at, right? Where he at? Who did we just talking about earlier? Houston. Houston.
