Key claims
- Steelers’ offense left “points on the bone”: Aaron Rodgers had what they call his worst game, with high throws, drops, and poor third-down production (they cite 2-for-11 on third down).
- Chargers won by exploiting missed tackles, eye-discipline/matchup errors in coverage, and big “chunk plays” (including long runs and man-to-man breakdowns).
- Browns’ defense “bent but didn’t break” early, but special teams/mental errors and a late big play swung the Jets game; they cite a 99-yard kickoff return and a 42-yard screen TD by Justin Fields.
Notable examples
- Steelers: DK Metcalf missed/overthrown opportunities; Rodgers interception; multiple high passes; defensive breakdowns leading to explosive runs (including McConkie/coverage issues).
- Browns/Jets: 99-yard kickoff return to tie; punt/kickoff returns; Fields screen goes 42 yards for a TD; Browns lose 24-17.

2:04Welcome back to Debo and Joe. I'm your host, James Debo Harrison. I'm here with my co-host, Joe Hayden. Please make sure you guys like and subscribe. You don't want to miss nothing. How you doing today, Joe? I'm doing all right, Debo. I'm doing all right, man. It was tough. It was tough. It was a tough weekend to watch football, my brother. I ain't going to lie to you. It was a lot of bad ball going on out there. A lot of things to be talked about, honestly. Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. Y 'all lost, which is a good thing, but we lost, which is a bad thing. And the Ravens won, which is a bad thing for both of us.
2:45Yeah, it's a bad thing for both of us. We can mutually get on that. Yeah, yeah. Okay. Yeah, for sure. So which one are we going to get to? Let's just jump into this still thing. Which one are we going to get to first? Let's jump into this still thing right now, man, okay? So we go ahead. We get down to everything. You know, I'm thinking I'm feeling good. I'm feeling good. I'm feeling good. All right? Get the rock. We actually get good field position. We start off with the ball, you know, rock. I think we like at the 40 because they messed up the, you know, they messed up the kick. Yeah. And then before the first night, we get a false start.
3:19First play of the game We get a false start Okay Just get behind the sticks Next two plays We get a three yard and an eight yard Which would have been a first down if we hadn't If we hadn't got that offside Got that false start And then of course We get pressured on the third down We just really pressured all night He got to make some maneuvers And we don't get it We punt the ball Yes. Chargers get out there. Hey, first play, we stuffed the run, dude. Hey, popping off. Popping off, bro. The second play, we get some pressure. Highsmith get up in there. And what we do, we tackle the catch immediately.
4:01Echols. Echols. You see that, bro. They was running up, hitting. You catch the ball. You get tackled instantly. No question. We get a third down in completion. They punt the ball. Good defense. No question. I'm good. I'm good with all that. Even if he had made that, hey, you're sitting there, you're ready to go. He would have tackled the cat. I ain't tripping. Yeah. We get him to punt the ball. Dude shanks the ball again. Like, he shanks this one this time. Like, the punter shanks. Mm-hmm. I think we get it at, like, the what, 45 or something like that? 46? Yes, 45 y 'all line. Yo. We go out there.
4:39Third down. He just misses DK. Okay, of course, he's pressured again. He's having to run around, move around. But we got to make that, Debo. We got to make it. We got to make that throw. We have to make that. We got to make that. He's open. He's wide open. Even if you give him a chance, we can't overthrow. It's Debo with number two, the safety. He's running behind him, chasing. That's a vet play. We need a rod. Like a lot of his passes, he knows he's got to play. We got to hit that. We got to hit that, Debo. No question. We ended up selling it for three. We get the. Boss, 59. 59, bro. We get that right there.
5:15No issue, bro. Chargers get back out there. And then on the second down, they get a gain of nine because we missed the tackles. So that puts them in a situation where I think third and fourth down, they do two quarterback sneaks. It's kind of hard to stop that yard. I understand. Yeah. And then they run the ball again. That first down, boom, we stopped that thing, man. Stop it. We get to third down, and I thought nephew had me. nephew was in position right there we don't capitalize on it that's cool though we get them up out of there they got a punt no issue still let's get the ball the first play bro it's a negative run like lost a two they in our back what is going Washington Bro, you 300 pounds and you in motion.
6:15You let this man totally stop you, push you back, and then use his back to make the tackle. You got to get him up out of there. You got to get him up out of there third down. You got to. They pressure us again. They pressuring us in four, man, bro. Like, we got lucky on that third that he was able to fall down on that thing. And it wasn't a touchdown. Yeah. No, for sure. And that's your own, and the lineman knocked the ball out of his hand. But we got to just, we can't, we can't. A safety? Come on. That's the point. No question. This is what I'm saying. Defense isn't even out on the field and we're giving up points.
6:55We just gave up. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's, come on, man. It's cool. It's still 3-2, you know. Go ahead. Kick the ball to him. We back out there on defense. Little short run, you know, on the first down. I think we pressured. We was rushing him all night, to be honest with you. He scrambled for about three or something like that. And then they got a false start. And the next third down, pressure him again. He ends up throwing it behind. If the pass was on the money, he might have got it. He still had somebody there to make the tackle. I wasn't tripping. They get an incompletion. Punch the ball.
7:32We get through, bro. That was good. No question. Slave was as good as that position. Yeah, I'm going to get to that too, brother. So, Steelers get the rock back, right? Okay. First play, we get 19 to DK. Okay. All right. The second one, Washington gone's head. He makes a nice catch, too. Like, oh, it's great. Then on the first down, we get a run. Jalen, I think, hit for about nine. And then the next one, he got the first down on that. And the preceding first down, we hit Friar move. You know what I'm saying? Yes. We're moving. And then we get a seven-yard gain, he race, for a holding penalty. Ain't happy about it.
8:17But, hey. Self-inflicted. Self-inflicted. But then we get the, I think we get the 18-yard catch, but it's reviewed. We see they called it incomplete. You know what I'm saying? And that's another play. That's another pass on him. He was throwing high all night. Like, why in the hell we need to make those? These are simple completions. These are simple completions that we're talking about, Debo. I'm not asking for the craziest. I'm not asking for, you know what I'm saying, squeezing in a little window. If he's wide open, these are layups. These are layups. These are routes on air. These are routes that you hope that you can see.
8:53You know what I'm saying? Like, that you wish for this. Just drop it in a bucket. Don't over, you know what I'm saying? Like, these are the passes where I'm like, man, he's right there. He could be able to walk into the end zone. There should be 14 points that we should have as offense. Instead, no, not it. We attempt a field goal for the first time in a long time. 16 in a row he made until this one. And that's my good man. No question. I'm not. Hey, man, listen. You can't make them all. You can't be 100%. You can't be 100%. God. So we still up 3-2, though. He shouldn't have been in that situation.
9:29I know, Debo, but at the same time, when you think about just things that are left on the table, so much on the bone, and the simple stuff on the bone, like big plays that are just like, no, we could have, boom, had DK for that floater joined. That would have been a touchdown. Here, John Smith, wide open. He could have just, you know what I'm saying, just hit him right there. He's wide open. Nobody's in a place where you got to throw the ball that damn high. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, he was, for some reason, I don't know why, he was throwing high all night, dude. like when you go back and you're just looking at it.
9:59The Chargers get the ball back. You know, they move it down on a couple passes and then they get the big like 11-yard run. Yo, what is 95 doing, man? He is back there three yards before he gets off his block. Why are you as a D lineman three yards deep over there? And that's the play. We lose Slay. That's the same play. Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep. It was. Like, come on, man. That was the first explosive. Because on this drive, like you said, this is the first time we started getting hit. Defense was standing up until when they missed that field goal, they got to that position. They started.
10:40He finally, like we said, he, what's my man's name? Herbert wasn't doing nothing. They only had, he was like, at this point, he had 14 yards passing. We lose Slay on that play, man. It was 42. Hey, he lucky he didn't get a penalty on that play, bro. Oh, he dumped him. I love Pierre. Pierre was out there making plays. He was out there tackling, hitting, you know what I'm saying, PBUs. Yeah, but he could have. He lived buddy's life. Yes, buddy. Yes, yes. He dumped him. He did. He did. The next first down, Herbert get in there and get a sack. Yes. I'm loving that. The second down. This one, this one echoes.
11:19Yes. Bad eyes. What are they looking at, bro? What is it? What? Is that man or am I just, I don't know what the hell I'm talking about? about? What's going on? That's man, and that's the same thing I was trying to tell you about. That's eye discipline. You need to be looking at your bag. You need to be looking at your coverage. That's not good. Like, dude goes to break, and it's like, they're like, where are the quarterbacks? No! Because when he breaks on them, when the quarterbacks look like that, that's when you're looking at the quarterback, hoping and praying he doesn't throw it to your man, and it happens to be, oh, he was open, and he ended up going another way.
11:51That's what it is. He needs to look at his man. He needs to be on his luggage. That's what it is, D. So that That was just, he made some really good plays, and I'm not going to knock, but there's certain plays when you don't perform, I've got to point them out, which is just like, that's what it is. Right, dude, they get 16 on that. We're able to, you know, get some pressure. We're able to stop them. And we missed another opportunity right there where the ball slipped the dude's hands. He could have scooped. Didn't get that. They end up attempting the field goal. They get the field goal. Now we down, what is it, 5-3.
12:24Okay. 5-3. We get the ball back. The first down, we get sacked. Yeah. Poor man. But almost not. Put him to sleep, dude. Almost put him to sleep. Almost put him to sleep. Didn't even drop his head. Almost put him to sleep on accident. Yes. You saw that. Yes, dude. Like on accident. Big foot. Love, bud. For sure, for sure. Third down, Roger misses it short. It was longer short, dude. Longer short. Longer short, dude. I ain't never seen him have a game this bad, man. Oh, yeah, that was a great play by the DB, too. He got his head around. Dude, it's either long or short. I don't – anyway, man, we punt the rock.
13:06Okay. Again, the first play, they were actually staying ahead of the change. What was that thing called? The ratio, success ratio. The ratio of one year on first down. A lot of first downs on the success ratio. They got – but they got a first down on that. Right, they did. They went 11. Somebody was out of their gap. Somebody was definitely out of their gap. Okay? And then. Yeah, yeah. After that one, he stood up. And then the second down, we got like a holding penalty or something. And 95 actually goes ahead, and I think he made a sack on him. So, he went on ahead. He got a sack. He tried to make up.
13:41But, I mean, if you had just not got three yards deep on that one, we might still have Slay. We end up making him punt or whatever. You know, Steelers get back out there. in the second play do a high pass Aaron throws a pick at our 38 bro what are we doing so that's what I'm saying this is the same thing it was you see how the way that that linebacker when they it was like an exchange he tried to throw over the linebacker and in between the safety high ball you can't throw that that was just good defense by the chargers and a bad ball High, again, like you said, either high or short. But, like, that was – we can't be making those turnovers.
14:25It was just bad balls by A-Rod, and he knows it. And that's not winning football. Not winning football. No, Chargers get the rock back first play, strike off eight yards. Again, that success rate thing that we was talking about. Winning on first. Yeah, the next first down, they end up getting a seven-yard pass because of what? Missed tackles. We missed a tackle. Like they stand ahead of the chains. Like, and it's not like they're doing anything great. You know what I'm saying? Like the next first down, we get a great pass breakup. Like that was a great, like he went in there, got the hand in there, got it up out of.
15:05Yes. Yeah. Was both. Yeah. Great, great timing, bro. Great play. Yes. For the most part, most of the DBs played better. Then Ladd McConkie. McConkie, dude. Yeah. McConkie? Yes, bro. McConkie. McConkie. He had... What are we looking at? The same thing again. Are they talking man today? When he go to break, see where the quarterback at? Same thing. No, no, no, no, no. Same thing. Same thing. And on this one, on this one, I would like to say that was just terrible at the top of the route. You know what I'm saying? He routed him. He gave him the jugs. So he's looking at the quarterback again. That's your man.
15:47You have to go to him. Same time, we got the new DB. So it's like a cut. So we saw the linebacker, Queen, took the other guy. They're running straight drag routes. So Queen took his guy. We need him to kind of fall off and help him on that route. But at the same time, Echoes, that's your man. You need to have a little bit of inside help. That's where you want to force him inside. But you're not covering him. Once he joked you, you're standing there looking at the quarterback. That's your man. To see if he saw, I got me. Yes, he saw. Yes, that's exactly what he was looking at, Debo. So that was legit man.
16:19And he needs to have somebody can fall off and give him a little more help on the inside. But as a man in that coverage. Dude, we just got to be close enough. We got to make the tackles. You got to be close. You got to be with him. You got to be close. I was always told you cannot look until you can reach and touch him with your hand. And that's what I'm saying. He should be driving his man right there. We should not be seeing his eyes. He's looking at the quarterback. Like, no, that's your man. You need to be driving your coverage. That's what you taught, like bad eyes. He should be, they're going to be taking films of him looking at the quarterback.
16:47I was taking some screenshots to send to you to be like this. This is like he's watching TV. He's sitting there watching the quarterback throw the ball to his man. Yes. That put us down 12-3 now. Steelers come back out there. They get a couple plays, do nothing. Hell, we almost get a pick. I think we had a drop pass, too. Drop Calvin Austin, drop the slant, just in the hands. So, in the half, 12-3. I'm just like, all right, cool. I mean, it could have been far better. It actually could have been worse. Could have been worse. Chargers get the ball in the second. So first play, it's a false start.
17:31But we turn around and give it right back to him with offside. Right back. We stuffed the run. You know what I'm saying? Then we stuffed the run. TJ passed the ball. We get a, what was it, was it third? Third and eight. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was a little, they hit us with a little man-to-man. We got a little. You know what I'm saying? We got a little rub. I ain't tripping. I ain't tripping. That happens sometimes. I ain't tripping. I was, yes, yes. We stuffed the run on the first down. Second down, another nice press break. Come on, Pierre. No question, bro. And then close it out. He was third down.
18:07Sack. Yes, that's what we do. They punt the run. High Smith. Coming in. Man, see a quarterback crying, bro, he can grab you however he want you. Like, shut up. Man, ain't something like he grabbed, bro, you can get ganked up by here. No question. It's something like it was the back. Anyway, I don't even care nothing about that. You know what I'm saying? Still, let's get the rock back. Anyway, then - Hey, that first down the front? Yeah. Hey. What'd he do? A leap of - Nigga, jumped high as a mother. Boy, look like he was doing high hurdles out there. Bro, smooth, too. In stride. Yo. Yo. then we get to the third down.
18:47We get second game. Four men. They ain't even blitzing us, man. They ain't even blitzing us. Third and two. Yes. They ain't even blitzing us, bro. We got to punt the rock. We get back out there. Defense got to hold. We got to hold. The first play. That's the same way. What?
19:1818. Next play. They get 12. Again. Who's 95? Benton? What's his name? Four yards deep again. At the end of the play, clap his hands. Clap your hands for what? You should have.
19:36Got to make the play. Can't sit back there. Got to make the play. it's like we got a D lineman playing midway in between the linebackers and and the D line you say he getting pushed back he was four yards deep before he got off the ball before he got off the block the other one where Slate got hurt it was about three yards yeah okay okay I thought you was talking about he was kind of trading he was getting pushed backwards he was getting pushed back Okay. Okay. And they got another run at eight. Herbie come through, though. He get that tackle for a loss. Yes. He made that play. Gave him that. You think I'm going to have to go out, but I don't.
20:24Come to it. Cam come through with a paw. PBU for Cam. We're able to hold him. We're able to hold him to a field goal. It's 3-15. I ain't even lying right now. I ain't really feeling. I'm not feeling it at all. I'm glad the defense is still able to, like, not bend, but don't bring, not trying to give up no touchdowns. But on the offensive side of the ball, we got to do something. No question. We need something. We go out there. We do three and nothing. You know, we out of there. Chargers get back out there. They move it a little. Third down. Third down. We ain't got no, I mean, we ain't got nobody looking at him.
21:06He gone. What do you do? 15? He got 15 on that scramble? I think it was third and four. What is it? Third and 14. I think he got, like, 12. He got 12. Dude. I don't know what it was. Anyway, dude, we ended up, I think, getting a holding call. They held us. Sorry. They held us. And then Highsmith come through for us on the second down. Get the sack. Okay. They ended up having to, you know, attempt a field goal. They missed a field goal. I'm feeling a little optimistic, but not really. I ain't going to lie to you. Like, I'm just, I'm trying to see something come from the offense that'll give me some hope, you know what I'm saying?
21:50And we're hoping because we have good field position. And we got a whole fourth quarter left. Like, they just missed that. 45-yard line. Let's go. Yeah, so we can still do this. Still just get the rock. I think Warren went for about 11. Boom, 11. That was okay. Cool. That next proceeding first down hit fire moves. Fire moves. Almost another first by nine. Yes. Warren gets the little and breaks tackles. Get 18 on them. Discover a spectacular island destination with crystal blue seas, endless sunshine, and the cool Bahamian breeze. 25:07Yes. Third down, we get pressured again. We get a high pass. Fourth down, I don't know what we're thinking. Just trying to hope DK can make a play. Like, they were over top of this dude all day. He always had two, man. We need another receiver. He always had two. That's what you said. That's what you said, Tudoribo. We skipped over on the third down on the high pass. Like, he flinched. Dude, there were so many high passes, bro. They just blend together. The one, I mean, it was just, again, it was just another bad high pass. And he flinched on them. Like, he was standing right there. A game where it was wide open.

25:45You got to just deliver that. Do you know what I'm saying? He flinched and then threw the joint all high in the air. Like, that's not A-Rod. Those aren't. Oh, no. We ain't going to get a performance like this again. That got to be his worst game of his career ever. No. Got to be. We turned the ball over on him. And then he was down. Turned the ball over. Then it was the bad. Like you said, the DK Metcalf ball. That's a bullet fade ball. If that's DK, at least give him a little back shoulder in the air to your big man. Like, he threw the joint on the line. You know what I'm saying? I don't even think that would have mattered, dude.
26:17It was like two, three other people over the air. We were just shooting up for a hope and a prayer, man. I know. I know, but God damn it. Chargers get the rock back, dude. I think they went 15 on the first play. We missed tackles. And then, third down. Oh, man. We done let him man to man. We done let this man go 58 on him. McConkie. And that was man to man. He was right there. He was right there. Put it in the pocket. When that happens, what's the next thing you do? Short a tackle, right? Yes. Yes. If you're not going to, if you're not going to, you got to go with the left hand and at least have the right hand just in case you miss.
27:06Right. You put both of them in there and didn't get nothing around. It didn't get nothing. Here and here. Or at least. Yeah. No, no, no. For sure. Duh. Yeah. They can't do that. You got to show up to tackle. Next play, bro. Hockey hit you for 58. I think they end up, what was it, 11 on the next play, and then he ran another one right after that touchdown. Right after that. The game is over with, bro. It's 20. Right there turned to a three-score game, D-Bo. It's 20, what? 22 to 3 now? 22 to 3. Still, let's get back out there. Again, we get a tip pass interception. Right in his hands, though. So, dang.
27:52Anyway, Chargers get out there. Still is able to force a three and out with the help of a holding penalty that we got. Punt the ball. They punt the ball to us, right? Yep. We must have punt, bro. Why was dude standing there after he hit it like he was backing up? Huh? You just hit the ball. That's live. Go get it. Go get it. Instantly. Instantly, yes, yes. Go get it. Yes. He started trying, looking cool. What was that? Once the ball already hit you. No, I don't know. That was crazy. Dude, it was like we just fell apart. As soon as the fourth quarter hit, like, they end up, defense able to stop or hold, you know.
28:38Now. Yep. It's 25-3. They was able to hold because, I mean, the field position, they could have got a field goal from there. So they went tackle for loss, tackle for loss, doing what they could. 30-15. Dude, it really don't matter from there, man. It's just trash time after that. We end up scoring a touchdown. And game ends 25-10 or something, dude. Like, that, bro, defense, defense, we can definitely play better. Situationally, for sure. We got to be able to hold up in the run game. Period. We got to play situationally better. When you get beat, it ain't nothing wrong with getting beat, but go ahead.
29:22Don't let him go ahead and get Jack after it. Like when we had a good game altogether, what we sat do five times. I think he only had what, 225, 220 on 33 attempts. 115 rushing total. We only gave up 315, 314 yards as a whole defense. Like it was it was good, but we have to play situationally better. We can't let people get off those runs that we let them get off, get off those passes, those big plays, the chunk plays, especially when the game is close like that. Like we can't do that. And they're like, why are you on the defense? Because I play defense. The same reason I'm pretty sure the defense will be on themselves.
30:11If you talk to any of those guys, they go beyond themselves. They know what they left out there. Everybody know what they left out there. And the offense, yo, was trash. We were super trash. We was trash. Aaron made the worst that he has played probably his whole career, okay? And he knows that. Like, he was pressured all night when he didn't, you know what I'm saying, get pressured. We had high throws. when, you know, he was able to get the ball to the receivers, we had drops. Like, the O-line is bad, period. We need help. Bruh, like, what do you, two of 11 on third down? I don't even think we completed a third down to like the third quarter sometime, dude.
31:02Like, Rodgers was 16 of 31 for 161 yards. That don't happen. And on top of that, there are six of 66, six completions for 66 yards and a touchdown of that came at trash time. Other than that, got two picks, three sacks, pressured all night. What you expect to happen? The Chargers defense ain't like that. They ain't like that. We need help. And it's too late. Too late to get help. Especially on the offense, it's too late. trade that line. I feel like what you said was correct, Debo. I think A-Rod, this might have been one of his worst games. Defensively, I wasn't as upset. Same thing you said too, you have to eliminate the big plays, the man-to-mans, the eye disciplines, the gouges, the run game.
31:54We did good, but when we needed to do it most, we can't let them still get those 11-yard explosive runs, winning on first down, being able to control the clock and hold the ball that long. I wasn't as mad at them, though, because, I mean, defense, they know what they have to do. They did better. They did a whole lot better. We got to force three, four, five, six turnovers to win a game? Because we're that lackluster on offense? Come on, man! That's the part that I'm trying to get to you, too, where defense knows, like you said, them boys looking in the mirror, they can know. We can't let them, he shouldn't have had that type of rushing attack on them on this day.
32:35You know what I'm saying? But the offense, how bad they played, brother, like, that's not normal. You know what I'm saying? So defense, you still can go back and do better, but offense, like, dropping passes, wide open passes. A-Rod, we can't have you performing like this at all. I don't expect him to perform like that again. Me either. That's why we're doing it. At the same point, we still need to improve on the offensive side of the ball. Like, we're getting... Yeah, for sure. For sure. That's not... But that's not like, come on, man.
33:10Dropping open passes and not, like, we're not good enough to drop open passes. Like, making the simple thing. I'm talking about, like, we're not asking you to go jump over somebody and make a head top. We're asking you to catch a slant ball. We're asking you to just, you know what I'm saying, not drop that. And then A-Rod, with this team that you have, we don't have, like you said, the other, like, Yo, we ain't got no two. We got... We need a real life. No, we don't. Our two is Washington and Fire Moly. They linked over DK all night. Dude, the safety actually just sat on that side a couple times.
33:49He ain't even trying to disguise it. No, no, for sure. I mean, because they know if you eliminate that, there's no other threat for real. What are we going to do, run the ball? Hell no. We can't do that consistently to save our life. No. No. And then we were all trying to get the ball out quick.
34:10That was tough. But the only reason why I'm not as mad, though, because the defense, I was Joey Porter Jr. They stepped up. He didn't have any penalties. He was locked in. He made some pass breakups. He could have caught the pick, but, like, was in the right places making tackles. You know what I'm saying? So, I love the way he stood up to the challenge. Jalen Ramsey out there performing. Certain people are definitely, they're stepping up, but it's like, it's not a defense to certain people. It's a defensive team. I don't know. I feel you. I feel you. There you go with that loser shit again, Joe.
34:42You looking for the silver lining. Ain't no silver lining. We lost. No, no. A thousand, but what you going to do? What you going to do? I'll be tripping. You'll be tripping sometimes. I said I wouldn't go get mad either. I said that to myself. I said, I ain't going to get mad. I said, listen, defense played well. I said, yes, we could play such an way, but I get into the conversation. I know why I get so emotional. You start building up. I don't know what it is, dude. I start spinning. Yeah, you're really passionate, Debo, and I appreciate it. I appreciate the passion. Man, let's talk about something good, man.
35:13The Browns lost. How'd y 'all do? Oh, my gosh.
35:22Man, what happened with the Browns? I ain't get a chance to watch it because I didn't see that they only got a negative eight-yard series on that first one. I didn't see that. What happened with the Browns? I know y 'all lost. I know Cleveland got the ball first. And like I said, I didn't watch the game because I just didn't watch the game because I figured, you know, the first, you know, series they went out there, they ended up with a total of negative eight yards. But I didn't watch the game, you know what I'm saying? But, you know, the defense went out there, you know, and did a nice three and out.
35:52But go ahead, Joe. Go ahead. You go ahead. Debo, so, yeah, the Browns game, actually, it was actually crazy. I'm not going to lie to you. We started off with the first play, like you said, running on the first play, you know, great start off the game, first down run, you know what I'm saying? Holding on the first play of the game. You can't make it up. Second play of the game, draw, you know what I'm saying? We get a quick, quick three and out. How many yards y 'all gained on that? Not a lot. Was it negative eight? I think it was. I don't know. It makes me feel good. Go ahead. You want to stay you want to have why you got to stay specifics.
36:37And then Brown's defense. Brown's defense goes out there and does exactly what they're supposed to do and what they normally do. They go out there and perform. Get a quick ass three and out. You know what I'm saying? Do exactly. Jets out there looking crazy. So punt the ball. yeah. Browns get the ball, right? And then this is the first draft. We start looking good. Driving the ball down. You know what I'm saying? A couple of good passes. A couple of good runs. Dog pound. You know what I'm saying? Dog pound. Stand up. Get down. End up getting a touchdown. Touchdown. Touchdown. My man, Dylan Gabriel.
37:15Throws a touchdown pass. You know what I'm saying? A little touchdown pass to my man, Joku. Dave Joku. Let's get past that touchdown. What's next? No, no, no, no, no, no. We're going to take our time on that touchdown. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Brown's up. Go ahead. Brown's up 7-0. Because before I could finish celebrating my touchdown, we kicked the ball off and they run it back 99 yards. I know how to do that, too. I did 100. But go ahead. They ran the ball back on this, Debo. 99 yards for a kickoff return. So it is now 7-7. It's 7-7. You know what's so crazy, Joe? Defense ain't even touched the field.
37:57Defense touched the field one time. I'm saying they ain't touched the field on that score. Oh, no. Exactly. Didn't touch the field at all and points on your head top. Go ahead, Joe. So that's not a good feeling as a defense. You know what I'm saying? I know what it feel like. See that right there? That's how I ran that back on them boys. See that thing that said pick six right there? Yeah, here. See that right there? You see it right there? Yeah, go ahead anyway, Joe. Go ahead, Joe. So, yep, Browns get the ball back. You know what I'm saying? We get a first down. Nicely over route to Judy. You know, after the over route to Judy, kind of.
38:33I ain't going to lie to you, man. I think y 'all went like a three and out right there, man. Yeah, we did because we got a false start. Yeah. We was ready to look. I didn't watch it, though. I'm just going. I think I saw it. I mean, I don't know. Go ahead. But what happened next, Joe? I didn't see it. We went three passes. I'm thinking something good happened. I mean. No, three passes, three plays, zero yards, and we punt. And when we punt, they run the punt back too, Debo. Both pump, the kickoff return, then the punt return. What do you do? And look, we got a flag too. So I'm thinking at least it was going to be something on them.
39:13They're going to call it back. What's up, y 'all? They done gave up the punt return and we got the flag. What's up? So, double whammy. 7-14, who? Down 14-7. To the Jets. And our defense has been on the field for a total of three plays. Yes, sir. Hmm. Yes, sir. So, that's just not looking good. It's not feeling good. What did Cleveland do when they get the ball back, though? I want to know. We get a first down. You know what I'm saying? We don't just finish the drive. We get a first down. I kind of heard that you might have went for it one time on like a fourth down that next position. No, we actually didn't go for it on fourth down.
39:52I thought you kind of went for it. It's even worse. We tried to go for it. Yeah, that's what I heard. We were about to go for it. It was fourth and two. And we get a flag, which drops us back to fourth and seven. And then we... What'd you get a flag for? Hold on, what'd you get a flag for? Was it a false start, Joe? False start. It was a false start, Debo. Yeah, pre-snap. That's what I heard. Yeah, that's just not good ball. Undisciplined football. We started getting a little bit of something going. Yeah. Misery love company. You know that, right? Yeah, guess what, though? Then the Browns defense comes back out there.
40:31And my man, because you know what? That vaulted Browns defense you talk so much about. That vaulted Browns defense. You know, Justin Fields, he come out there, and I'm thinking that he's standing in the pocket, no pressure. He throws the ball full speed, hits Hickman right in between the three and the three. Boom. Pick. Instantly. Browns, great field position. So now, okay, boom, the Browns defense puts them in great field position for the Browns offense to get out there. Little do you know, this is no disrespect, Dylan Gabriel comes out there, first play. Boom. Little scramble, and he throws a 22-yard pass to a touchdown to Jude, right?
41:09I'm happy. I love it. But at the same time, I'm looking at Dylan Gabriel. and when he throws his ball and when he throws his ball it's a 22 yard pass and it looked like he almost threw his shoulder out of his socket it did not look like it was like a heave from a 22 yard pass and he throws a dart I'm like that was no dime it just doesn't look good but I'm happy that he threw that touchdown passes now we had two touchdown passes okay the score is tied up 14 we back even we done we back y 'all done i don't know why i keep saying we thank you debo i know i was talking about you can be in this one you can be in this one with me misery love company misery love company listen i want you to be miserable too because i i didn't i didn't went through my misery already join join me brother listen so go ahead it's back even 14 14 what did that vaulted Brown's defense do when the Jets got back out there?
42:10They bended, but they did not break. They cracked. So they cracked. They cracked. They're a little kink in the armor. You know what I'm saying? Obviously, they did 11 plays, 64 yards. They really started the run game. They started toting it. Bryce was toting. He started getting a little involved. Okay? So that was what it was. Yes, sir. And we ended up holding them to kick a field goal. So, y 'all down now. You're down now. That vaulted defense gave up three points. I think they let them drive 64 yards to get there, too. Go ahead. Yeah, they did. Yeah, yeah. But come on, man. They've been balling out, Joe.
42:48It's okay. It's okay. One time. Okay. Then what we get here? Cleveland, you get the ball back. We get the ball back. Tried to drive. We get sacked. we get once we get sacked on third and 17 we end up punting it it's fourth and 26
43:08Joe this is what happened you end up tying it up at halftime no no no no because we didn't adjust at the ball we got another three and out that don't matter that don't matter that don't matter that don't matter you go on at halftime 17-7 y 'all actually get a field goal okay it's okay Joe it's okay I can't stand Listen, Joe, it's okay. You can't hold on to it the whole time. You can't hold on to it the whole time, okay? So you get back out there, and you know what you do in the third quarter? Y 'all do nothing. You do absolutely nothing. Nobody does anything. Nobody does anything. Until a nice, short little pass.
43:45What happened, Joe? Go ahead. I'll let you take off from there. I think it was about 42 yards. I didn't watch it, though. I didn't watch it, though. I didn't watch it, though. I didn't watch it. They're doing nothing. They're not pitching a drop. That vaulted defense. Justin Fields throws a screen pass that goes 42 yards for a touchdown pass. That, yeah. That, I mean, Debo. The man threw for 42 yards in the whole game. They gave up one touchdown pass. I'm not as, like, okay, like, what do you want? They can't give up nothing? Zero? I mean, situationally, you should stand up there. Situationally.
44:23I'm just saying, vaulted defense is times when you got to stand up. You know? That's one of them. They was on the sideline and 14 points was given up. Hey, I told you. That's why I told you. We back even. Halftime. Everybody 0-0. Put in your work. Yep. They put in their work. You're right. They shouldn't have gave up a school. They shouldn't have gave up a school. When you're on a team like this and you're fighting for your life and you're trying to get wins, you can't give up nothing. You can't give up nothing. 24-17. Who up? Who up? Who you think is up, D-Bo? We up. The Jets. The Jets. The Jets up.
45:04Browns get the ball, man. Kick off. They get down there. Don't really do too much or nothing. Hey, I think I'm hearing something about what you say? What the football guys say? They say they went for a fourth and one. What happened on that fourth and one, Joe? Joe, are you there? Joe? No. Joe? I'm losing. I'm losing you, Debo. Oh, oh. I think somebody got sacked, turned over on downs. I don't know. I'm just hearing this from the universe. You bringing it to me? Because I didn't watch it. Watch it. Yes. I'm just hearing this. Long story short, Debo. Let's just get to the gritty. We end up getting the ball back.
45:44They get a field goal. We get to the gritty. Discover a spectacular island destination with crystal blue seas, endless sunshine, and the cool Bahamian breeze. I stood next to the molten iron furnace, saw the hand applying enamel, and touched the gorgeous finished products waiting to be sent out into the world. Since 1883, Kohler cast iron products have been forged and finished by the incredible craftspeople right in Kohler, Wisconsin. I'll tell you, I gained a newfound respect and appreciation for Kohler's cast iron craftsmanship. So now, I'm lending my discerning stamp of approval to my most beloved Kohler cast iron products for their durability, beauty, and timelessness.
48:46Shop my Kohler cast iron favorites curated on Kohler.com. Bring the warmth, character, and enduring style of these timeless products into your kitchens and bathrooms. As the Kohler cast iron ambassador, I say long live cast iron. Let's talk about that vaunted defense at the end. Let's talk about that, that defense, that vaunted Brown's defense that couldn't stand. Mental errors. Devin, we get a holding call, and then we get a false start. Just to hit us where it really hurts. Even if we're down seven, we're a chance to get the ball back and at least see what can happen. But we don't even get a chance because of two extended flags on third down, which don't even let us go out there.
49:36So it was just bad. It was just bad. It was bad. who allows themselves to jump off sides on fourth and four when you know they're not even going to run a play. Who? That's discipline. It's okay. It's just discipline. But, you know, Stavansky says, hey, I am going to stick with my quarterback. You know? I mean. I ain't going to lie to you. I'm geeked because, I mean, I don't want Shador to go in and have to play the Ravens his first game. So it's going to be that I'm rooting for my man. Nope. Nope. I don't care. What team you want him to play, Joe? Not the Ravens. Not right now. Not the Ravens.
50:26Who they play after the Ravens? Boy, Cleveland got issues over there. The whole special team sold. You know what I'm saying? They sold it out for them boys. It's just, look, Debo. So sometimes, and it's not even like the special teams has never been like that. My man Bubba Ventrano is the coach. They've never been that. They're not that bad. It's just when it rains, it pours. We don't find something that's going to get, that's going to happen, that's going to end up being bad. So it's not like we're trying to do anything. They're not trying to lose. The dudes aren't trying. And I don't think that the special teams is that bad.
51:03But on particular games, we're going to find a way to lose to the Jets. When Justin Fields throws for 42 yards and they rush forward, they have a total of 169 yards. Total offense. Oh, no question. The defense, like, only a couple of plays. Like, we said, like, they ran into the couple and, like, ended up getting – you're going to make plays because you're a professional team. But we're going to find a way to somehow lose. We gave up 14 without the defense being on the field. They gave up 13 points as a defense. You know what I'm saying? While they were out there. I understand, Joe. That's bad.
51:37When you're out there, you got to do what you got to do. It's okay, man. I'm going to let you get out of this misery, and I'm going to let you talk about some other people's miseries, man. So the Lions went on out there, and they went on ahead, and dog walked them boys over there, the commanders. That was crazy. They scored on every possession, but the last one where they knelt down, bro. Gibbs was 142 rushing plus 30 more receiving two tugs hell uh my dude David Montgomery he added another 71 they was 226 total rushing golf went on head was 25 for 320 three tugs I think he was like 135 136 quarterback rating and then remember when the OC said he felt like he was doing a disservice to Williams because he wasn't using any better, right?
52:32Yes. He went on here and Dan said, I'm going to take over the play calling, just give it a little different feel. That boy went out there 6-1-19. Whoa. And ain't nobody mad. Ain't nobody upset. Ain't nobody in their feelings. They don't care about who gets the credit as long as we win. That over there, what they got over there in Detroit, what they coaches is doing, how they do it, how they operate to it, dude, it is masterful, dude. Yes, it is. Masterful. And then you got, dang, this dude goes and punches St. Brown. Are you out of your mind, dude? Are you out of your mind? You just got yourself suspended for a game.
53:15And, like, I don't even care about the, like, the punch. Like, okay, like, you could have broke your whole hand. Been done. Like, I'm not losing it to where I'm gonna actually take a punch at a helmet. he threw that joint like he was trying to sneak Buddy and knock him out. He threw it like... He tried to get to the chin, too. I tried to hit him in his chin. He tried to get to his chin, bro. Bro, that was crazy. You have a tale of two different franchises and situations going on right there. Like, the way that the Lions are moving is unbelievable. Love to see it. Golf, the running game, everybody.
54:01Like, Ambrose A. Brown, you see the dude blocking, too. Like, Williams. And the way that the coach, like you said, you want to play for a coach like that. That's going out there and be like, no, I need to get my dude the ball. He wasn't complaining. And next thing you know, he feeds him because he knows he's a baller. And it can make our team successful. And it's going to feed. And it's going to make my man good. So, Vibes is on 1 ,000 over there. They're moving the ball. Just the everything. The running game. The linemen. the receivers, the quarterback, the coaching staff, the defense. They're flying around.
54:33Everybody looks like they're enjoying it. For sure, dude. You know what I'm saying? They're playing for each other. You don't see no – Nobody's worried about who gets the credit long as we win. Dude, it's no ego. It's a beautiful thing, bro. It's no ego. It's a beautiful thing. And the way to the coach, man, they talk about – I go ahead and take over the play call and 536 total yards. They just moving it. And like he said, it wasn't like I was just calling to play myself. Yes, I was still getting input for the OC. I was getting input from other guys. Like, we wanted to try something different.
55:07It worked. What are we talking about? It worked. It's nothing. Hey, I like how they do it over there. I think a lot more people should look into it, see how they do it, and try and approach it the same way, all the way from how they do with what they do with their players to how they hire their coaches, the coaches being former players that played in the positions that they're coaching so that you have automatic buy-in and nobody's worried about who's getting the credit because at the end of it, as long as we're winning, everybody's going to have success. And that's how you get other people out.
55:43You get your coaching tree bigger and everything else, though. Mm-hmm. 1 ,000%. They're doing it the right way. Let's get over here to Germany, man. Is that Germany that we was at? Yes, sir. The coach, they beat the Falcons 35. No, 31 to 25 in overtime. You know I played in Germany, Ryan Fire, Dusseldorf, Germany. NFL Europe. Yeah, bro. Yeah, I'm going to have to show you that sooner or later. But Taylor went crazy, bro. That boy was 32 for 244 rushing. God! rushing and added another 42 receiving bruh out of control definitely an mvp conversation thousand percent he had to get them yards back from when the stillers man stood it then we ain't get none he had to he had the average he had to balance it out oh no question had a couple receivers i think had almost 100 i think pierce had 84 warren had like 99 and then shit taylor was the third highest uh rushing receiver uh sorry receiving receiver in the uh in the game 519 520 yards of total offense bro like this is a good thing and a bad thing bro like you won the game 31 to 25 in overtime but your running back had to throw up almost 360 yards by itself, and you still got in there and had to go overtime to get it done, like, that's good and bad.
57:22That's a lot of offense going through one person. Man, I just love the fact that, I mean, you got him on your team. He's the bell cow. You just know you got that. I understand, but it's the Falcons. It ain't like you was playing something. Man, they tried to look. man. You got to get it how you live. You know what I'm saying? They got Daniel Jones. They got Pierce. They got them tight ends or whatever. But if that's what's getting it done for this game, for this particular game, this is what we're going to have to do. I'm not mad at it. I ain't mad at it, but that's a lot of offense going through one person.
57:58And a lot of the time, that's what you're seeing. It's a lot of offense going through him. You know what I'm saying? I don't know. Bro, but at the same time, when Dimes, when they came to us and they played against the Steelers, he gave it to Alec, them two, Pearson and Baldwin, the two receivers. They both had six catches and nine catches for 115 apiece. So, I mean, he could do. Them dudes could still get off. Them receivers still nice. I understand that, but when he don't get off, it don't look too good. Man, if you got Jonathan Taylor. I said, right. I'm just saying, like, he had been hurt in the past.
58:35Like, it's a lot of ball running through him, dude. No, no, for sure, for sure. You know what I'm saying? You know what I mean? A lot of season left. Debo. Man, they going, wait a minute, man. They going to ride that, man, JT. You tripping. Bro, they going to ride that thing till the wheels fall off, bro. For sure. Till the wheels fall off. Yo. So, listen.
59:01Buffalo went out there and got hands put on their ass by the Dolphins. Man. Man, like... See? The Dolphins' most unexpected team in the league, bro. You don't know what you're getting. Tua was fighting trying to keep them in there, too, though. Tua be like, nah, man. Here, get a pick on it. I want to have a fight. Dude. Yeah. I don't know what to think of the Dolphins anymore, man. I don't... Up, down? Like, I don't... Dude. Then the head coach, I guess he took off and rolled past, what was it, over there and trolling the fans, I guess, going past and taking a video of them. The Bills Mafia out there at some bars over there.
59:48So we got the video ourselves? Do we got that? The picture? We got a picture of it. We got a picture of it. There you go. And that Matt Black. Yeah. And that Matt Black Bentley thing looking sweet. Dude, I don't know what to think. They could do it. They just can't consistently do it. I don't know what's going on over there. What do you think is going on over there in Miami, bro? Man, I don't believe it. I would have bet good money they didn't have a chance. That they was going to lose, right? But, you know, Debo, that's the one thing, though, about it. Any given Sunday, because these dudes, at the end of the day, everybody's professional.
1:00:32You know how that is. you have players on your team. Nobody's trying to go out there and lose. Every dog has his day. Right clock is wrong. You know what I'm saying? So they could have underestimated. They could have came in there thinking it was a trap game. You know what I'm saying? So I don't think, and I don't believe in the consistency of the Dolphins being able to do that. No question. Especially with Tua. No question. I just, I mean, not really a fan. I appreciate them coming out there and fighting. You know what I'm saying? Because they're NFL players. That's why I like dudes. The eye in the sky don't lie.
1:01:01You are what you're taping. If you're out there putting out bad tape, that means you're a bad football player. So you might not play anymore. So like any game of Sunday, dudes come out there and look like a baller because they're professionals. That's what they're supposed to do. I'm going to make sure this dude isn't going to win my one-on-ones. You know what I'm saying? So I think those games can happen. Dudes come out there and just ball out. But consistently being like, no, this is who we are. I don't see it. Well, you add that with the combination of probably the Bills is looking past them, too.
1:01:30You know? That happens, too. DeMarcus Lawrence went out there and beat Arizona in the first half. He outscored them 14-7. No, he got two fumble recoveries for touchdowns, one of 34 and one of 22. I think it was like 38-7 at the half, ended up being 44-22. Yeah, that game was over with before it even started, bro. Oh, yeah. I know that's a good feeling. I had two picks in the game. I never had two touchdowns. I had pick six in the game, two picks, but never two defensive touchdowns. I can't say I did that either, brother. I cannot say I did that either. And, dude, go over here to Tampa, bro. The Patriots looking real, bro.
1:02:26Yes, man. The Patriots looking real, bro. The Patriots looking real, bro. To help. I like Drake May. Oh, don't get me wrong. He was in there. He was standing in that pocket dog. He was making them throws, bro. Like, just not knowing it's about to come. He about to get bopped. And making them on the money, though. Under pressure. That's what I'm talking about. We're talking about. Making sure only his guy can get it, bro. Yes, Debo. Again. Again. Henderson. That boy was 14. 147. Two. Long TD. 69 and 55. Like, hey, he ran it. Listen, right now, midseason coach of the year, Mike Vrabel. Period. Mike Vrabel.
1:03:09Look what he took. What was they last year? Two and three and something? Yeah, they were not sniffing this. Yep. Hey. And the game really wasn't even that close. It was 28-23, but it really wasn't even that close because Tampa really scored, you know, one of those trash touchdowns with like, you know, a minute and a half left in the game. You know, they went on ahead, you know, you preventing and all that. But the boy, bro. And he looking still, he making, I'm talking in his face throws that he got to put on the money, dude. That's the thing that I'm saying. What you're saying right there is making you, me believe, that's why I'm saying the same thing.
1:03:56We're seeing the exact same thing. Drake May is standing there in the heart of, in the eye of the storm and throwing the lead pass, like to the running. He doesn't have to slow down at all. Right. He's running full speed. He catches it in the deep. Like if he threw it behind him a little bit, it'd be a breakup. It might be picked. But he's standing in the eye. No one's coming. Getting smacked. No one's coming. He don't care. And he's throwing it right ahead where he can catch it and run and turn the field. Yes, he's throwing them in stride, bro. On the money. He's throwing them in stride. And it's not just one time.
1:04:25Right. It's a lot of times. It's a lot of times. And the dig routes, crossing routes. Yes, it's different throws. I like this. Older shoulder, deep ones, short ones. I love it. I love it. Yeah. That's the true signs of a quarterback. He's not scared. When you know you're going to get hit, he's not flinching up. And I know A-Rod's a lot older, but just the ones where he was flinching up, throwing it high. Because I know he's older. And those wearing tight hits, those hits. Actually, you know where them hits feel different at you? Believe me, I know, bro. I know. And I was doing the hitting, bro.
1:04:55Listen. I never did, bro. I went to jump over a dude. That's what I'm saying. You got to jump over a dude, get out the way. You can't hit him. Back when I first started, man, I just plow into him. Man, I went to jump over that dude, man. Somebody hit my feet, and I landed flat on my back like that. And I was like, oh, my God. I ain't never felt this. Take me now. Give me a body. Bro, the Rams went on ahead and jumped on the 49ers. It was 42-26. picks Stafford got into him yeah he went on ahead and went 24 for 284 touchdowns I think the first half was 14 for like seven 175 two 20s it was 21 nothing before they even really knew what happened I think halftime 21 to 7 and then really I think they started going back and forth Jones ended up throwing a pick somewhere in between that third or fourth quarter that really just allowed them to jump back up, and it was really over with from there.
1:06:02I rock with Matthew Stafford, man. Like you said, he's throwing now 22 touchdowns. They swap quarterbacks, dude. Both of them doing well. Yes. That's crazy. Yes. I think both of the teams got great ends of the deals on the trade. I think the Rams, Matthew Stafford, for me, showing, he's been in here since 2009. bro. First overall pick, Josh Freeman was drafted in that draft class and he's still just in here consistent and being able to go now to the Rams. I think when people say like a lot of the yards and Pro Bowls, I think this could be the year where he can get, show that he can get an MVP, you know what I'm saying?
1:06:38And really lead a team too, because he's been doing it for a long time, but when you do it, losing, people don't really, you know what I'm saying? Like, look at it like that. So I'm glad he can show that it's not, it wasn't really him. If you get a team around him, get a defense, like, he can – it's not his bag. He's 22 with two picks right now, like, leading it up there in the MVP race. So, I always just appreciate it, the way he can throw the ball, different angles. And, you know what I'm saying, he's standing – like you said, he'll stand down the eye of the belt and make sure he's throwing the ball, leading them right on the money.
1:07:08So, he's one of them quarterbacks. Yeah. Yeah, I agree. He's a candidate to be in that MVP discussion for sure. Monday Night Football, we got coming up, dude, the Eagles. we got the Packers, Eagles and the Packers what is it, 6-2 Eagles 5-2-1 Packers they did that they did that they did that at a time yeah for sure, for sure hey, we got a super chat though Lisa191 donated 20 bucks and said, can you do a live show for a game please blessings to you and your family amen, yes, thank you blessings.
