In short

Steelers playoff preparation and AFC/NFL offseason speculation; debate over whether aging stars (Aaron Rodgers, Cam Heyward, T.J. Watt) are “about shot”; Browns quarterback direction after firing Kevin Stefanski; Ravens coach John Harbaugh’s future; also discussion of Tua Tagovailoa wanting a “fresh start” and an NFL injury-disclosure controversy involving Russell Wilson.

Guests

None listed. Hosts are James “Deebo” Harrison and Joe Hayden.

Key claims

  • Steelers will handle the Houston Texans and keep their playoff momentum; Steelers Monday-night home record is cited (23-game winning streak).
  • Anonymous NFL exec criticism of Rodgers/Heyward/Watt is framed as “hate,” countered with tape/impact arguments (including Watt being double-teamed and still producing).
  • Browns GM Andrew Barry won’t name a 2026 starter yet, but the hosts believe he favors Shador Sanders; Watson’s guaranteed $46M is expected to keep him around.
  • Harbaugh likely has two years left and won’t be fired.
  • Tua’s “fresh start” is portrayed as financially rational given guaranteed money.

Notable examples

  • Watt “chip rate”/double-team percentages and continued sack production.
  • Browns roster notes: Tyson Campbell trade for Newsom, Denzel Ward, Devin Bush, and draft capital (10 picks, two first-rounders).
  • Russell Wilson comments about playing through a grade-two injury without telling the Giants.

How you doing today, Joe? Debo, another great day. Another beautiful day to be on the pod talking to my good man. Yes, sir. Yes, sir, Joe. I'm feeling real good, man. You know, I still got me a little cigar, you know, still walking around, still talking with my hands, you know what I'm saying? We don't play till Monday, so we get an extra day. This is what I'm doing on my extra day, you know what I'm saying? I'm taking this celebration a little bit longer, you know, enjoying myself, you know?

2:21So that's what you do. That's what you do when you get hats and T-shirts. Victory Tuesday now, baby. You know what I'm saying? Hats and T-shirts. That's what it's going to go. Oh, man. I got it. I have my hat for you. I have my hat for you next time we get back on here. Okay, okay. I have my hat for y 'all next time I get back on here. I'm coming to the game, too. I'm going to be there Monday. Okay. That's okay. Let's go. I'm in the building. As a matter of fact, while you go be there, you know what else? We going to have two tickets to the playoff game. as we go and slap around the Houston Texans.

2:57But this is what I want y 'all to understand is that when you're in a position that we're in, you get a lot of hate. And when you're kings of the North, you don't listen to the peasants. You know, when you are your majesty, Joseph Waterhaden III. Yes, full government. And I am your majesty, James Henry Harrison Jr. Come on. That sounds like, that sounds like. You feel me? You need a crown. You don't listen to the opinions of peasants such as this gentleman, Butter. Butter has something to say, man. Butter has something to say, man. Look at that. We got the clip. Look at it. Look at it. That boy, Nami, is over there.

3:47He always running in my butter, butter. Hey, butter, butter. Where you at, butter? Look here, man. If you ain't come here to talk Steeler football, you come here to complain and do all that. Look here, baby. It's a thin line between love and hate. I mean, I really believe that. I think that Ravens is one of the few birds that you can shoot all year round. I could be wrong, but when you a Steeler, that's all we do. We hungry. I watched Butter this morning. I know he was sick. His reaction he didn't even say anything he said nothing

4:49I

4:53Playoffs in the season I got something all this Somebody get me somebody get me sketched. I gotta talk to sketch so he can rather the troops I got the game plan. I know what they ain't gonna do. They gonna hand the ball off They gonna throw a screen They gonna throw that joint at the seat to the tight end They gonna DK come back. They ain't gonna use DK Right? They ain't gonna use DK They just gonna use DK as a decoy Throw that bid up to Austin for the deep ball I'm telling you Texas, I can't Listen, I ain't got the capacity To deal with this right here Get my cookies Yeah

5:37Yeah

5:41Know

5:52Okay, all right, wait till thank you wait till next year Make sure y 'all hear next year. Grow on cookies because the things we got to do in the OC is about to be astronomical. Yep. In Cancun. Yo. Yo. Yo, I ain't going to listen. Listen, I ain't going to lie to you, Joe. I was actually kind of worried about him because, like you, I saw the video and I didn't see no reaction. He froze. And I ain't want him, you know, to go and do nothing foolish. Yeah. In the time that, you know, he was grieving and mourning. Yes, yes, yes. Over the loss of his football team, you know what I'm saying, for a game that he already knew the Ratbirds was going to lose.

6:41He knew the result, but I love his passion. He knew the result. Look here, man. I just got tired of hearing and seeing, you know, he had all his little disciples, little Ratbird fans running over to my page, you know, putting things on there, running their mouth, being disrespectful. And when you're disrespectful, this is what you get. You get taught respect. You get dealt with. Joe, Joe, Joe, what is Lamar's record now against the Pittsburgh Steelers? I mean, it's not too successful. What is it? What is it? Three and Shep now? Three and Nate, something like that? That's the regular season. Who?

7:24He got an X one. Who? Listen, that's last year. We talking about right now. You understand? But here to go the crazy thing, man. What's the crazy thing? How of a sudden he done turned into like, he sound like he a Houston Texan fan right now. Let me tell you, look. Like, Debo, he's a legitimate, that's the thing. He's a legit Ravens fan, and that's why I rock with him. He ain't a Ravens fan. he is still a hater and it's a bunch of them out here. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Yes. Yes. Yes. You can tell. When we lose, Joe, we lose. I'm hoping don't nobody win the Super Bowl. Don't nobody else win.

8:00I'm hoping they have a tie for the next nine months straight while the season roll around and they got to stop and start over. For sure. But yes, yes, yes. But if, so if the, if the, if the Ratbirds was in it, you wouldn't want them to lose? It ain't about wanting them to lose. I know they go lose. They is what they is. They always have been and they always will be. The big games come and they drop a knee. They cop a squat, lay an egg. It's been years and years. He know this. Why is he sitting here doing this? And then you got some unknown random NFL exec talking about TJ, Cam, and Rodgers, they just about shot.

8:48Anonymous exec told The Athletic, he said, Rodgers at 42, Cam Hayward at 36, and TJ hardly making plays except when the ball lands in his belly like he did Sunday. These three guys are just about shot. I think Houston chokes them out. That's a hater. That's a hater. Put your name on it, NFL exec. Anonymous, bro. Anonymous. That's what anonymous people do. They're just going to say, you can say whatever, because then you can hide behind anonymous. I just threw it out there. You going to tell me, Cam Hayward at 36, I don't care what you're talking about. He look like the best de-tackle in the league.

9:24He look like he was 26 years old. Prime Cam. What are we talking about? You know what I'm saying? TJ came back, pick. You know what I'm saying? He's got sacks. He's got a punctured lung still out there hooping. Running plays down. That's a hater in my eyes. A-Rod throwing them dots. That's a hater in my eyes, Debo. Dude, it's a 100 % hater. That's all it is. That's all it's ever going to be. Now look here. I played the game. You played the game. We know father time catches up to all of us. Nobody can beat you. Undeniable. Aaron and Cam, of course, they're getting close to the end. And yes, they're getting older.

10:05But as you get older, you get wiser into the season, you realize what you need to do to make sure that that end of the season, you feeling as fresh as you do at the beginning of the season so that your body is right. You reload each week. And that's what you're seeing right now with Aaron Rodgers and Cam. The more time Aaron Rodgers gets to teach and build rapport with that offense and his receivers, the better they are getting. They spend time at this man's house doing film study on the off day. That's the most time I've ever seen. Okay? And a couple other times during the week that they are there at their practice getting it together.

10:54You think Cam is not reloading? You know Cam's reloading. through every week trying to make sure and making sure he's doing it you see it with the performance he's reloading you see that ravens down down down goes down goes ravens dude when i play when i play bro i did my recovery for my body especially as i got it doubled tripled like hell on a normal week When the season would first start, dude, I'd see my chiropractor maybe once or twice a week. You know, I'm a doctor twice. Get a massage twice. Acupuncture once a week. And then, you know, dry needling whenever I needed it. When I got into the later seasons, that would increase, especially as I got older.

11:51My last year, 2017, well, 2016, that's the last year I really played. and I didn't really play until I was 17. But, dude, I was seeing my chiropractor three times a week. I was seeing my doctor four times a week. Then I had massage four days a week, acupuncture twice a week, and dry needling every week. I was getting treatment five out of six days sometimes during the week. And some days I was getting treatment as I was leaving the hotel to go to the game. Yeah. So whoever. You have to. So whoever this is, like, that's saying this, yo, old and slow, all that other stuff. Yo, you tripping, bro.

12:36That's hate. That's hate. And you know what's so crazy is, what let me know it was hate, he talking about the choke you out. That's hate. Choke you out. And y 'all want to talk about TJ. TJ ain't got nothing left. Dude, that's crazy. again people he don't have the numbers i see that but what you don't realize is that he is impacting the game just by being on the field when you go back dude and you look at his numbers like he he was hurting what 22 he got hurt in 22 23 he came back and did it 24 he was still doing it now in 24 he was getting double teamed i think uh pro football focus had it at like uh 14 percent Right.

13:24Yeah. They added a new stat that was there and it was called a chip rate or something like that. He was being chipped at the third highest percentage in the NFL. And with that happening, he still came away with 11 and a half. Now, you forward to this year, earlier in the year, they had him at a 66 percent double team rate. OK. And when you do that, that allows your other rushers one on one opportunities to go in there and make the plays. Yes. You can say all that you want to say. All you got to do is look and see how much more effort they done put into trying to stop one man. Mm-hmm. The tape don't lie.

14:04Stop hating. See, that's all it is, Deebo. And I just am not a fan of when NFL execs, they hide behind. If you're an NFL exec and you want to put something out there, this is like. Right. I want to be anonymous. I want to put it out there. I want to put my name on it. Put your name on it. Say something. That's probably why you shouldn't even be an exec. Dead because you weak. You don't, yeah, I don't get it. I don't like that weirdos. NFL exec. If that's the case, you want to put your name on it, don't say nothing. Mm-hmm. You understand? Hell, butter put his name on all this. That's what I love, and that's why he getting all the smoke.

14:41He going to get all the smoke. God. All the smoke. Yo, I ain't going to like it, though. So, I feel so good, you know? It's just, man. Come on, bro. You know what it is. It's that playoff vibe. Is that what it is, bro? That's exactly what it is. And we brought the game. Yes, brother. Yes. We'll be in the building. I'm going to do the same. D-Bo, I ain't going to lie to you. I'm getting tired of you. You keep on giving stuff away, and I'm normally the one that gets up. I'm going to give away two tickets to the game, to the playoff game on Monday. Okay, so we got three sets of two tickets. We got three sets of two tickets that's going to the game.

15:27So it's going to be jumping. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I need to go ahead and get involved. I need to go ahead and get involved. Listen, y 'all know what you got to do, man. You know what you got to do. Follow Joe, myself, Debo, and Joe. Debo and Joe. We will put that up probably tomorrow, well, Friday, or sometime later during the show and let y 'all know exactly where to go. I believe you go to the Deebo and Joe Instagram. You can sign up there. Make sure you get all the information in there you need so you can be one of the lucky three to go see us get our first playoff win. Come on, man.

16:052016. On top of that, they are like, yo, let's put this on Monday night. You know why they put this on Monday night, Joe? Because you know, because we do very well on Monday nights. We do very well on Monday night. And now for me to sit here and I'm like, yo, the NFL, they want to see us win. They want us to succeed. They put us on Monday night football at home, at home, where we are 23-game winning streak strong, Joe. Joe, like I told you before, Joe, the last time we lost a game on Monday night at home, Joe, you was sitting down shitting in your diapers, man. You know? How long ago was it? 1991.

17:02Oh, my goodness. I was putting on myself. Yes, you was, Joe. Listen. Oh, no. That's wicked. Oh, yeah. I was almost a grown man in 91. Debo, how old were you in 91? I had three kids. No, you did not have three kids in 91, Debo. I'm just trying to get you to understand. I had a lot more responsibilities than you. No, for sure. I was two. I was just on both feet. I was trying to figure it out. and you know it's okay let's get it though that's all when Coach T on a Monday night when we gonna be in the building it gotta get turned yeah listen man it's the reason they called me Mr. Monday Night man that was my tag that's why they called me Mr.

17:55Monday Night because they know at home when the lights is on it's Monday night they ain't even called me D-Bo They said that's Mr. Monday Night. That's all they said. Yeah, man, you got a hoop. They lay it with this. The best nicknames you get is the ones you get from everybody else. I ain't never had one nickname that I made up, you feel me? You ain't give yourself that nickname, you know? You earned that. I earned it, man. And you know what, man? It's really surprising to see that this is what the NFL wants, man. They want us to go out here and win this. I can see because they put this there.

18:32You know? They put this there. 23 straight, baby. They want to see 24. We going to keep... Hold up. I'm tripping. I'm tripping. They could be hating. They could be hoping that this is the downfall. Debo, don't do that. Don't listen. This is what they hope is. I want to let them know that they ain't putting us on there because they like us. I already know. Roger hate the Steelers No, no, no, no, no, no It's time And maybe Nope This is an opportunity they think that they have To go ahead And be like, well, we're going to go And put them on No, no, no, no They're praying for our downfall So they can see the record broken So that they can see That the NFL playoffs Was showing where we got to see.

19:31No, you're going to get to see history made again. We need to use the reverse psychology, Debo. If that's the case, they tried to put us on the last game last night to not make the playoffs. Got them out of the way. Get out of our business. They thought, oh, they got DeMar, Derrick Henry, they're going to run over you the whole game, and y 'all are going to lose. Got two for a loop, okay? And now Houston Texans, they got the craziest defense. Now, no disrespect. That's what I'm not going to do on this cast. It's respect that D-line. So what we need to do is head swivel. You know what I'm saying?

20:05We're going to come in there with respect. We're going to get to that, man. But this is disrespectful right here, man. You know what they're doing. They're trying to play the ears against the middle. We're going to do them again. We're going to show them again. We're going to show them again in front of everybody. And you know what, bro? When I think about it, so you don't know. Go back. I'm going to go back. I'm going to go back. I'm going to tell a little story. So when I was getting fined, when we was all getting fined over there in 2019, 2009, Sorry, it was 2009 when they started that player initiative thing, that safety thing.

20:32They said it was the safety thing. Running a business is hard enough. So why make it harder with a dozen different apps that don't talk to each other? 22:46Okay. So it was like right after like a commercial break or something. I don't remember what it was going on. But one of the players that was playing for us, I'm not going to say who it is. Okay. He's on the sideline and you know how the refs stand on the sideline over there. So the ref is standing there. So he called the ref over. He was like, yo, man, come on, man. That wasn't a foul. The ref turns and says, we're told to call everything that's even questionable on the Steelers. And he realized he said the quiet part out loud and just walked away, dude. It was crazy. And he was like, whoa, whoa, hey, what, what, what?

23:28And he just walked away. Yes, you know, they're humans. I hope that's not the case. We haven't been doing anything crazy on defense this year. No, no, I'm just saying. I'm just trying to get you to understand the same man in position that was starting at a NISTY trying to make an example, trying to make me the poster board for a label. No, yeah, yeah. Hits and everything else. You all right. You're the same person in position right now that made this game where it's at. You all right. Okay. All right. You all right. Okay. Are we going to keep an eye out? Definitely got to keep an eye out. We make sure that Houston don't try to, you know what I'm saying?

24:06I ain't worried about Houston, man. I ain't worried. We'll get to that, man. That'll be where it's going to be, man. Okay, okay. You know, we do what we need to do. It's going to pan itself out. I ain't worried about it, man. We where we need to be. We at where we need to be. And all these other people that are sitting on the sideline, wishing and hoping and praying on the downfall, want us to go to Cancun with them and all of that. Y 'all going to have to wait. Y 'all going to have to wait. Wait. The season ain't over with. Yeah. We get done in San Francisco. See, look, whole time, we got people.

24:38But he worried about us. He's delaying his flight. Go to Cancun. What you sitting at the crib? What you waiting for? Oh, if you can go chill. You could be watching and sad every time we win from some good weather. You know? You know? Not a bad place to watch playoff games in Cancun. And now you think about it, they talking about they going to do something astronomical in the offseason, all this. Is your coach still going to even want to coach there after what y 'all done did? is you go even have Lamar. Lamar is a hard, hard cap hit come next year. Oh, but see, Debo, I hate what people say. So that's your astronomical, maybe, that you lose.

25:17When we start talking about Debo, don't. You funny. Don't say cap hit when we talk about Lamar Jackson. 75, 25%. That's all irrelevant. We could change that number. Make a guarantee. Make it a sign of bonus. Get that man his money now. They're still going to hit the cap. What they going to do? What they going to do? The defense, they need help over there. Them boys can't sack nobody to save their life. Butter said himself, he can drop down there and go out there and get one. No, for sure. But the offensive players, they're not bad. I'm not rooting for them. I hope they don't figure it out. I hope they get rid of John Harbaugh and give him to the land.

26:01I'd be happy. I'd be geeked. Set him free. Set him free. Let him fly. Let him have his way. Then they'll be really bad. You know what I'm saying? That won't be good. Yeah, yeah. Speaking of setting free, the Browns GM, Andrew Barry, I guess y 'all boys, after y 'all fired Stefanski, let old Stefanski go. Barry said when asked about who his starting quarterback would be, he said, we're going to do our work on the quarterback market. It is too important a position, and it's something that has to be solidified. I can't sit here and tell you today whether the starter in 2026 is internal or external.

26:44Something that we're going to work through over the next several weeks. Quite honestly, the new coach will also have a lot of input into that as well. How do you feel about him not saying Shador is the starter? I respect it. As a GM, he came out and said something. The one thing I do like is my man, Andrew Barry. He likes Shador Sanders. He really wanted him to be there. You can see like even in the preseason when he talks to him, he wants Shador to be successful. And I think that he knows Shador can be successful. So I'm excited about that. Having the new coach that comes in, I want him to also be in on Shador and on when you're looking for.

27:25We don't know that he's the main thing. So you always have your eyes open. You're always trying to figure out if you can get the franchise. If Joe Burrow's looking crazy over there, we can get a franchise quarterback in Cleveland, that would be great. But having Deshaun Watson in the locker room, that he's guaranteed, he's making$46 million a year next year, fully guaranteed, this is going to be his last year on this guaranteed money. Have him, you have Shador, you have Dylan Gabriel. You have two quarterbacks that are making peanuts that are on their rookie contracts that are going to be there.

27:57I think Shador's going to be the backup. or the starter, but having Watkins there, that you're paying$46 million regardless. You're not going to get rid of him. You can't trade him. He's been injured. Now he's had a whole offseason to get healthy. This is going to be his last year there. You have Shador. So now the quarterback position, I think, is more filled. When you're looking at him always trying to figure out what's the best thing, it's not answered yet. So him saying this is 1 ,000%. I love it. But I do like that. I know that he likes Shador. and the next quarterback, I mean, the next coach that comes in needs to be a Shador fan and kind of believe in him and want to be able to work with him and not be like, no, I'm out.

28:36I'm out. So I think that him saying that is good. With Andrew Berry, I like him as a GM because I think his last draft class was good. The Browns team isn't a bad team overall. Defense, solid. We have some players like Devin Bush. You know what I'm saying? We need to sign him. Us getting Tyson Campbell in the trade for Newsom. I love Newsom. That's my man. Tyson Campbell's a baller. That was a great pick. We have Denzel Ward. We have Everson Griffin coming back. He got hurt early on in the season, I think before the year started. So we got a lot of great defensive players. We need to re-sign some offensive linemen.

29:15We need to figure out what's going on with my good man, Hall of Famer, Joe Pantonio, and then Wyatt Teller. We need to figure out with him. So, offensive line, receivers. Bond is good. You know what I'm saying? So, we need that. And then looking into our draft picks, we have 10 draft picks, two in the first round. We need to get offensive line and wide receiver. You know what I'm saying? If it doesn't work out, we can go get quarterback later on, figure something next year. Because I think this year with those three that we have, we look solid. So, I like Andrew Barry. I think we have a lot of picks.

29:48We got a lot of stuff that we can work on and I think with him going into the draft and being able to finagle the the salary cap he's a good good way enough giving dudes guaranteed money a lot of restructures are going to be need to be done to the people that are going to be able to stay there so we can get somebody else but I think he's a good GM I think he's gonna be able to get talent there and I think that's gonna help us out bro yeah yeah I don't I don't disagree with it you know what he said you know especially because I don't I don't think he did you know anything that would to solidify his position as being the starting quarterback, especially when you look at it comparatively to, you know, what the quarterbacks, you know, did that he took over for.

30:29So I'm not upset with it. I'm cool with it. He's not making a predetermined decision. And like you said, they got a lot of money over there in the quarterback room, and it's on a person that only got a one deal, one deal, one year deal left. So, my thing is, though, what if they go, they give him the chance, he win it, and now he go out there, he go out there and he actually ball out. Now, do you pay him again? No. Okay. I mean, I thought he – He got$4 ,000. He got, you know, he got$35 ,000. He got 35, 40 touchdowns, high picks, six picks. This one I'm telling you, it's not going to be another 230.

31:19You know what I'm saying? Like, we're going to have to definitely give me something because we, I don't know. It's going to be, it's not going to be another crazy astronomical deal like that if he goes and balls out knowing. You saying you owe back pay? Oh, for sure. For sure. If I'm the Browns, I gave you 230 to the good. And I didn't get, I didn't, the ROI is not looking like what it's supposed to be. No question. You know what I'm saying? That's a heck no. Yeah, speaking of that, I guess the quarterback over there at Texas Tech, I guess he signed reportedly a$5 million deal with the Red Raiders in the transfer portal.

31:58They said Watched Door is set to make$4.6 million across his rookie deal. You find a problem with that? I don't find a problem with it. I think if they can pay him that money, I can't be mad at the young boy being able to make that money. You know what I'm saying? Like the NFL, they started to change like the rookie scales. If you was a first round pick, the Femble one overall, my man Ward is making four years, 48 million, fully guaranteed. You know what I'm saying? $12 million a year coming out of college. So the number one, if you're that guy and your thing is you want to get to the league, Ward is making$12 million a year, four years fully guaranteed.

32:41And if you want to be that real guy, your job is to get that second contract. Like you want to be in college making that$315 at the most. Not saying that's not no money. But when we're saying if you want to be a professional and this is what you're going to do for your livelihood, we got Tua made a five-year,$230 million contract. You know what I'm saying? So he got 167 guarantees. So when we're talking about making it to the league, switching, if you can make that in college, make it. I can't be mad at you at all. Do it. But long term, if you want to be great, like don't just like – if you're in a comfortable position where they're giving you$4 million a year, I don't know if you want to switch your whole team and do that stuff because when you get to the league, you get comfortable, you start.

33:23You want to be the best you can be. Obviously, optimize making your money. But being in this position where you're making a good amount of money, comfortable, balling, and then hopping around, is it really worth it? So, making the money, I'm never against them making as much money as they can. But just, my picture is when you're doing it in college, hopping around, I understand. It's bread. When you get to the league, you're going to get your rookie deal. When you're trying to be the best you can be, I don't even know how to really explain what is enough. You're going to be good regardless. I ain't tripping, bro.

33:57Being in this situation. The door was in a position that he was in last year or whatever it was in Colorado. Okay. I ain't mad at nobody making money. I ain't mad. I ain't tripping on the quarterback, having more money. I'm not tripping on none of that. I would do the same thing. Chador got to do the same thing when he was in Colorado. If you want to look at something, look at the NFL and the collecting bargaining agreement that the NFL PA puts in place and see why they allow what they allow. Like, you a guy like this right here, and you're getting that money. Like, what's going to motivate me to go to the next level if I know I ain't going to be the first pick on the first day?

34:48Like, yeah, I'm going to stay in college a little longer. I could get this bread. You know what I'm saying? Like, you may or we may miss out on an opportunity as NFL on a player that could have came and did something great, but say they end up staying too long, get hurt, whatever it may be, and, you know, not get that opportunity to come in at full speed because they like, yo, I'm going to be able to make more sitting right here than I am going and signing a, you know, a rookie deal as a third, you know, third, fourth round pick. No, I hear you a thousand percent. It's just to like, are they, I mean, if you NFL is making so much paper right now, dude, you got to buy up almost a thousand dollars in subscriptions to see every NFL game this year.

35:34For sure. They streaming. They got every service met, like thought of that. It's a game here, a game there, and they selling out to the highest bidder. Whoever get the highest, you get this. If you want the whole lump sum, it's$50 billion. Ain't nobody got it. So they keep taking a B from here, a couple B's from there, some B's from here, some B's from there. Next thing you know, they probably got 15, 20 B's sitting there every year. You know? It's the same like when you look at it too, when you look at college football, when you look at these players, like how many dudes on that team are making this much money?

36:08You got probably two quarterbacks making$5 million, but like that's on the NFL team. You got one dude making quarterbacks making 50. Right. But they also have to stay under a cap. That's an NFL bargains with the with the collective bargaining agreement with the CBA, with the NFLPA. Like the NFLPA need to fight for more like baseball has, I don't know, 50 billion games, dude. And the NFL still make. Yes, they're on cap. And the NFL like still like they got 100 games. Basketball got 90, 80 something games like, dude. And we, the NFL, supposedly still makes more than any two of those combined. Like, you telling me you ain't got no money to spread?

36:50No, no, no, for sure. But then that goes to the only two. The NFLPA has fell into players. They have been. They are. Especially for the last 10, 12 years, whatever that 15-year time frame is, since D. Smith got in place and was out. Like, they need to get this together before this next CBA, or else it's not going to look good as far as the potential of getting, you know, players to come out at the opportune time because it ain't no rules over there right now in college football, man. You guys, some rosters got 20, 25 million on the board. And this is for a university that, what, ain't they tax-free or certain tax exempt or something?

37:29Like, I don't know what's going on. I don't know, man. NFL got a whole bunch of money they sitting there holding on to that they could spread a lot more out and be able to give these guys better players, especially like they making money hand over fist. No, for sure, for sure. Now, let's hit over there with the Ravens, man. You think John Harbaugh, he come back? Because this is going to be his opportunity. This is going to be his choice. I don't think they fire him. I don't see them ever firing him, especially. No. What do you think? I think he got two years left on this deal, and I don't think they should fire him.

38:09I think that would be a bad idea. Just him not being able to win the big game at the end, you know what I'm saying? Like, obviously, you want to win the Super Bowl. Every year, teams come into the league, they want to win the Super Bowl. But who are you going to get for him? Like, I like what he's been doing there, and I don't think that they have really. I mean, him and Lamar Jackson, I think Lamar Jackson, if he still wants him there too, I don't see them being real, like, I don't see them not getting along. So I think that they'd be cool. Yeah, I don't think they're going nowhere. I don't think they should move anywhere either.

38:46I mean, he was right there. You just had to face us at the end. I mean, that's the daunting task for anybody to have to deal with, you know, especially the Ratbirds. And end of the day, bro, we laughing at them so much, but they were a missed 44-yard field goal attempt from being in the joint. So it's like... Joe, I don't care about that. I told you already. I told you. You see, God is still a fan, man. I told you that. You see the Holy Water spread off. The Holy Water, did you see the John 316 in the end zone? Went off. You understand? Mm-hmm. Y 'all believe that. Listen, I'm just telling you, that's what I'm feeling in my heart.

39:31That's what I'm feeling in my heart, man. Now, that boy Tua over there, he said he open to a fresh start. He said it would be dope. He said, I would be good with it. That would be dope. I would be good with it, he said. Yo. Yes. He said that. He said that to people. Like, that would be dope. That would be, a fresh start would be dope. Yes. Of course he was going to say that. Deebo, what you thinking? Yes, it would be dope. You just got benched from your squad. You know what I'm saying? They're still owing money, though. You know wherever you go, whatever what happens, you're going to get guaranteed.

40:05You got bread owed to you, no matter what, 67. So you got like 50 this year and 17 next year, no matter what. So, fresh start. Going somewhere, wherever I go, I'm going to get this dough. So, yes, I'm saying the same exact thing. And I was benched here. But who going to take it? I don't know. But if I'm Tua, I'm saying the same damn thing. Fresh start, yep. Wherever y 'all want, whatever, wherever. And I'm going wherever. He wants to be a starter, whatever. But if he goes to a team that already has a quarterback, you're on the bench making your bread until they figure it out. So if I'm Tua, I'm saying exactly what he said.

40:42Yep, I'm down for a fresh start. Y 'all keep me here. What you going to do? My stuff is guaranteed. I got 67 coming to me. They must have mismanaged him, huh? For sure. No. Like, you got to do, like, right now, he has all the cards. Tua's sitting there like, who's going to take him? I don't know. That's on the Dolphins to find out. They got to figure out somebody to take me for this bridge. You really believe they mismanaged him? No, mismanaged him? No, I think they, I think if you're going to have - I think he could have been better than what he was, is what you're saying. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

41:15Okay, I'm just checking out. I don't think they mismanaged him. No, no, no, no. I'm saying putting him in the position to where he's sitting there with$67 million and he can do whatever he wants, that's what I'm saying. That's mismanaged. They mismanaged. Yeah, I got you. I got you now. Okay. On that part. That's what I'm saying. I see where you at. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Boom. Two is up. So that's mismanaged, however you want to look at it. He did good for them. They got the best out of him. But now he's sitting there $0.67 million. Mismanaged. Ain't nobody picking that up. Come on, brother. Ain't nobody picking that up.

41:47Y 'all might as well go ahead and get ready to add that to the cap. The dead money. Y 'all stuck, man. This worse than marriage. You know what I'm saying? Mm-hmm. Y 'all stuck. Hey, ain't there no worse than that, baby. Look out. Come on. Y 'all go ahead. Y 'all got to hold on to that boy. I don't know if it's the starter or not, but he going to have to be there because I just can't let you go away and just let you go. That's what I'm saying. Hey, when they say it's cheaper to keep her, hey, this is one opportunity where it's cheaper. Come on, man. And this is the part two. If he's going out there and working hard, doing his job, not being an irritating person, not trying to mess up the locker room, not trying to be a problem.

44:32You know what I'm saying, Dan? Keep him there. He's doing what he's got to do. But like Deshaun Watson, he's there. He's not being a problem. He's trying to get better. He hurt himself. You know what I'm saying? Oh, the bread. He's not a lot. Yeah, but why would you say that would be dope if they let me go? A fresh start would be great. Like you're saying, oh, I don't want to be here. Like, because they benched you? That's what it come down to. They sat in the last three games. Yeah, because they benched them. And then a fresh start, because obviously right now I was a starter. I guess, you know what?

45:00I wasn't thinking about the guarantee. Yeah, I'm going to say what I want to. Devo. I need a fresh start for sure. Devo, no matter what. So now it's a beautify me. And I can double up if I get you to hold on. See, I'm going to get you to hold on to me until the season starts. Then I'm going to try and double up after. I'm going to have to happen. you know yeah and then your boy over there I don't know why the head coach still there man I listen to this press conference dude and I just get confused yeah I think maybe that's the fresh start of need because I'm listening to him I don't know what he'd be talking like huh he goes from one subject to the next and I don't know what he'd be talking about like it don't be a break it's like I was brushing my teeth ate salad last night to the store this what it's real It's a little jumpy, man.

45:48A little jumpy? A little jumpy. A little all over the place. Yo, do we coach like that? He never coached me. He was the wide receiver coach when I was in Cleveland. Who was y 'all receivers? How was they performing? Was they confused? Man, that was when Johnny was out there, the quarterback. We had Miles Austin. It was a little confusing. Okay. Yeah. Now look. That's my man Miles. It might have been, yeah. come on come on you got Russ though Russ got something out there pop that up can y 'all throw that up there let's see what Russ said man Russ got something on his heart Russ got well he ended up I guess saying he said the Giants he said not the Giants fought they didn't know because I didn't tell them I didn't tell anyone because of the circumstances I just had to play through it and try and go out there and ball thought we were going to win that wild, crazy game.

46:49I guess he's referring to a game that he went out there and played. With a grade two. And didn't tell anybody. How you feel about that, Joe, about him saying that? How do you feel about a guy doing that? How do you feel, D-Bell? So for me, I... So, I – so, the big thing they're trying to get into, though, is they're talking about, you know, the Giants did something wrong. He's like, no, they didn't do nothing wrong because I didn't tell them about it, okay? And I think that's cool because the Giants didn't know, and he just said they didn't know. So, there's no rules or anything broke there. And I don't think what the NFL understands is that depending on your circumstance, as he said, you may or may not, you know, try and battle through it and not tell no one.

47:44As sometimes in the situations where you have the option to not play and not playing is better for you because right now the position you're in versus you playing hurt and not telling anyone, you know, it could cause your situation to change. because they're thinking you're 100, but you're not. So they're judging you without a curve. And now, like, maybe that puts you in jeopardy later. You know what I'm saying? But if you're in a position that you can still tell them, I'm hurt and go play, like, yeah, go ahead and do it because you're secure at whatever position that is. I know when I played, I tried to keep any injury, nagging little injury thing that would, anything that would cause me to be on the injury report.

48:47Like, I don't care what it is. I'm not missing practice because I don't want the opposite opponent knowing, like, I got this issue and them trying to go after it. So for any reason, like, I don't care what it is. I'm trying to practice. I don't want to go on the report as did not practice, blah, blah, blah, because of this injury and that injury. So if my injury that I have does not totally stop me from being able to practice, I'm not telling you. Yeah. I'm going to take care of it. I'm going to get it treated. I'm going to do all that. But I ain't letting you. What are you icing for? Recovery?

49:25Yeah. You know? No, no, for sure. I feel this one. I think something, when I was looking at it, was he, you think he's trying to protect? Is he trying to just not let the team know that he has an injury because he's just going to handle it and he's going to still go out there and perform? I think this ended up having to come out because the Giants, I guess, somehow the NFL found out that this has happened. So he had to publicly basically come out and be like, no, they didn't do anything illegal. They didn't know. Okay. I didn't tell them. so that's how all this ended up you know coming out okay yeah i think so like you said it's different situations i know some players like depending on their contract status like they may be like man look if i let them know that i'm hurt they might not play me they try to think i'm hurting um i might get waived you know i'm saying like nah i'm gonna handle this myself i'm gonna go out there i'm perfectly fine and chance it to be out there like nah i'm gonna go out there and And if they know that you're hurt a little bit, sometimes like if you're a player, I mean, get out there on the injury.

50:29And it's not great on the curve because when you're out there, they're expecting you to play. Right. They're expecting you to play. But at the same time, if you don't play to that level that you know and they're used to seeing you play, they like, OK, he played good, but he ain't like he played. Well, they know this. You know what I'm saying? And like I said, depending on your situation, whether that is I got somebody behind me, I ain't playing well, I'm on the last year, I'm on year two, I'm on year one, whatever that is, you're going to take the chance of either not telling or you're going to tell and play.

51:03That was the same thing like old school back in the day. Dudes would get them concussions and just get back up and be like, no, I'm good. I didn't feel nothing because they're like, no, I don't want to lose my spot. Somebody else would come in there. I'm straight. But when you can still be out there legitimately loopy. Right. Right. But even back then, though, they weren't really looking for that, dude. No, no. For sure. For sure. I went to sleep in my rookie year, boy. I smacked me a tight end on the crossroad. I thought I laid him down. They come out there like, hey, you good with something?

51:32I'm like, what y 'all doing out here? I'm good. Laid yourself down. Yeah. Man, listen. Back in the game, the next, like it was what, three or four plays later? Hey, what's today? Sunday. You know what it is. I'm going to win if I say Sunday. I got a good chance. Especially back then. You tossing up in the air. Now you talk about Sunday. They got a Thursday or Saturday or Monday. You know, like, hell. Yeah, it could be any day right now, the way they're looking at it, bruh. Back in the day, anytime you woke up, Sunday. Sunday. Yes. Sunday. Good. Good. Real good. Real good. Joe. Yo. You know what time it is.

52:16Yes, sir. It's time for Play or Fade, presented by Pride Spits.

52:31All right, Joe. So we're going to do our Play or Fade a little different today. All right. I don't watch much college football because, you know, Kent State. It's not like I had a lot to do. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Y 'all ain't in the playoffs. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Oh, my bad. That's aggressive. That was aggressive. Oh, that's real aggressive, bro. Gators not in the playoffs either. Gators not in the playoffs either. Yeah, I mean, we was like, we won, what, six games over the last three seasons, bro, and five of those games was last year, bro. I mean, you know, at least we headed in the right direction, though.

53:09You know what I'm saying? Okay, no, I can respect that. And on top of that, we beat Akron. That's our rival. So we took the wagon wheel back. They know what it is. Okay, okay. So this is what we got, man. The staff, dude, they made a lineup for both of us to either play or fade, okay? Okay. All right. You know better than I do, but let's see what they pick, man. So right here, they got your boy. My running back. Like him to school. Yes. You like it? I like him. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Fletcher. You got Mark Fletcher? Yes. I got Fletcher. Okay. You got Trinidad. What is it? Chambliss? Yes, man.

53:53You got Trinidad. Hey, bro, he came from the dirt, too. Yes. He's going to get it, too. He came from the dirt. He's going to get it, too. Okay. See, okay. Now we got Charlie Becker. I'm not too hip to Charlie Becker but I'm fucking hip Indiana been doing real big things the quarterback is the one that's supposed to be going number one the Heisman trophy buddy who you think throwing to him it gotta be him Charlie who you think he throwing to he throwing to Charlie gotta be more this college ball they going up against Oregon too man okay I know okay okay Okay. Oregon quarterback. See, that's what I'm saying.

54:41I need to. What about Dante? What you got on Moore?

54:49That's what I'm trying to see. More or less. You got more or less on Moore? I'm thinking more. That's Oregon. That's what I was thinking. That's Oregon. I don't know. That's Oregon. I'm thinking he going more than Penn. And they moving fast. It's a lot of plays. Hey, hey, look. This is a staff pick, but I don't know. Right now, I'm feeling fadeable a little bit. That's what I'm saying. It's college. I'm feeling real fadeable. I'm feeling real fadeable. Yeah, you know what, man? Because I want to start getting my wins all the way up, so I'm going to have to fade this one, man. I don't know, man.

55:30Indiana, they broke something off. Wasn't that old state they broke off like that? Push. Joe, 38-3. This one I'm telling you. I'm going down. You going to play? I got to play that one. Okay.
