In short
Nightcap discusses Aaron Donald’s return to the NFL and how the Rams’ defense—paired with Miles Garrett—will affect opponents, plus a guest interview with Bengals rookie defensive tackle Landon Robinson.
Guest backgrounds
Chad Ochocinco Johnson and Joe Johnson (former NFL/ NBA players and hosts) lead the discussion. Special guest Landon Robinson is a seventh-round rookie defensive tackle who made Cincinnati’s 53-man roster after leading preseason in sacks; he’s from Copley, Ohio (about 3.5 hours from Cincinnati).
Key claims
Aaron Donald agreed to a one-year $20M deal with playoff incentives up to $30M. The hosts emphasize Donald’s dominance even when double-teamed: since 2017, only three players have reached 20 sacks in a season, and Donald had 25 with a 64% double-team rate (20.5 sacks while double-teamed). They argue teams must “pick their poison” because they can’t double both Donald and Garrett. They also stress the Rams’ strategy: run to stay out of long down-and-distance and use quick game/misdirection.
Notable examples
Rams opening with the 49ers in Australia; discussion of defensive line rotations and using Donald at multiple techniques; Robinson’s mindset as a chip-on-shoulder seventh-rounder and learning the NFL speed/film study from veterans like Dexter Lawrence and Jonathan Allen.

Ocho, you'll be happy about this. seventh rounder Landon Robinson who made the 53-man roster who led the preseason in sack. He joins us at the bottom of the hour.
6:50Shannon Sharpe:But first, everybody's worst nightmare became a reality today and that is Aaron Donald. He is indeed coming back. He agreed to a one-year $20 million deal with playoff incentives that could raise the total to$30 million. Prior to the announcement, Rams fam begged Aaron's wife Erica permission posted. Several months Erica and you'll never hear from us again Ask Miss Donald can Aaron come Out and play well Erica responded I let him out the house y 'all and there It is and with that simple tweet Here's a stat for you since double teams started Being tracked in 2017 Only three players have recorded 20 sacks Of the season two of them are now on the Rams Aaron Donald and Miles Garrett and TJ Watt Miles Garrett had 23 sacks TJ Watt had 22 and a half sacks And Aaron Donald had 25 but look at The double team rate he got 20 and a half sacks being double teamed 64 percent of the time that's crazy basically two thirds of the time he's getting double teamed listen to be able to come back out of retirement for one to leave arguably maybe depending on who you ask the best divas a player to ever play this game i know we have you know we have lawrence taylor we have some others but the fact that you can be double teamed 64 percent of the time and still do what you're doing with that amount on sacks.
8:09He played defensive tackle. We talk about defensive tackle, Joe. We're not talking about an N who sometimes, you know, if they have to scheme you, they can double team you and scheme you if you play DN. Sometimes they leave them one-on-one. But to be at the nine, three, that's not the nine, to be at the three and still be able to dominate like that, always taking on two people majority of the time is insane.
8:32Shannon Sharpe:It's insane. They're not going to let him play one-on-one with a guard. They're always going to slide the center towards him. If you listen at Jason Kelce and how he talked, AD was talking about, hey man, let me have someone say, nah, that's not going to happen. You'll wreck our entire offense. There are guys in this league, and they've always been that way that you have to find a way to account for. You go in on Wednesday, Aaron Donald number is circled. Miles Garrett number is circled. Because if you don't block those guys, they wreck your offense and they're making you have a long, long day.
9:06Shannon Sharpe:Now you've got to deal with both of them. Go ahead, Ocho. Hey, Joe, and listen, I saw Aaron Donald coming. I used the Kanye meme with Kanye smiles and then he has a frown immediately because, in a sense, I like it for the game of football. Aaron Donald coming back and giving themselves a chance. Obviously, he's only coming back for one reason, an opportunity to lift a Lombardi trophy again. Now I'm thinking offensively for the teams that have to play, the Los Angeles Rams, how do you defend? How do you counter that? Because you can't double both. Nope. Because you're a hamper of your offense. You're a handicapper of your offense.
9:40What do you do? Listen. You double Miles? You double? I mean, I'm curious to hear your expertise because I've been thinking about it all day. How are teams going to deal with that?
9:49Shannon Sharpe:You're going to have to pick your poison. You're going to have to pick your poison. I think the wild part for me, Ocho, is that he's coming back joining Miles Garrett, you know, the reigning defensive player of the year, who just set the NFL single-season sack record. I think that's the most intriguing part for me because it's like if Miles Garrett wasn't there, do y 'all think he would have came back? Understanding now, look, it ain't going to be a whole hell of a lot of pressure on me. I got Miles Garrett on the end. I'm going to hold everything down on the inside. And if they doubling me on the inside, who's going to be guarding Garrett on the outside?
10:23Shannon Sharpe:One man ain't going to stop him. I think we know and understand that. So I think Aaron Donald's seeing the opportunity, bro. He's seeing the opportunity. He's like, look, this thing going to be back in L.A. for the Super Bowl. Man, let's see what we got. I mean, it's Super Bowl or bus. Okay, Ocho. Yeah, absolutely. It's that every year for the Rams because they go for it. John Snyder has always said, is that the –
10:53Shannon Sharpe:I forget. Less need. Less need. Less need. He's always had the motto, F them picks. And think about what he's done, Ocho. Look at him free agency, what they did. They went and revamped their secondary because they felt that was the weak part of their defense. Then they make the trade for Myles Garrett. Then on top of that, A.D. like, hold on, wait a minute. He probably started huddling up with his wife, Erica. Hey, what you think if I want to go back for just one year? I know, I mean, you kind of like having me around. I kind of like being around. But for one year, the Super Bowl is in L.A. Miles Garrett, Trent McDuffie, Jalen Watson, and myself, Miles.
11:37Shannon Sharpe:They got Fisk. They got Byron Young. They got the other – I forget the other D tackle. He's a hell raiser also. They can go six deep. They got a NASCAR package now. When you got the preeminent three technique in all of football, he might be the greatest three technique. I don't think he is. I don't think it. You know, when you think about Warren Sapp, you think about Johnny Randall, you think about Mean Joe Green, some of the Allen Pages, some of the other great three techniques, it's hard to say any of them are better than Aaron Donald. So set that aside, he's a top two, top three, and I'm not saying he's two or three.
12:10Shannon Sharpe:And now you got Miles Garrett, the preeminent defensive player in all of football. You can make a case. He's better at his position than anybody else is at their position. Yes. That being said, with the cornerbacks and with the offensive firepower, they got Puka Nakua. Now, I don't know if Puka is going to be able to start the season. We're going to see how that plays out because we know some things. We don't have to revisit it, but we know some of the things that happened in the offseason early. Matthew Stafford, Puka, Devontae Adams, Kyron Williams, they're loaded. But to answer y 'all's question, how do you do it?
12:46Shannon Sharpe:You run them out of it. They want to pin their ears back, Ocho. and come attack your quarterback. If you cannot run the ball on them, you cannot beat the Rams. You have got to make them catch. You have got to make them stay out of those sprinter stands. But hold on, Unc. I like that you said that. Now, we talk about Miles Garrett being one of the better pass wrestlers in the NFL. This is not just on throwing downs. This is also on rundowns. Him being able to sit, him being able to hold the edge. He's really good at that as well, despite having the sacks. Aaron Donald, how are you running the ball?
13:21Shannon Sharpe:which way you going a gap B gap I mean what are you doing what I know guys that get 20 plus sacks they're not as good at the run as they are passing because you get them in matter because think about it what was so amazing about Miles Garrett last year is that they were playing from behind he was still able to get those sacks because they were able to shut the run off you've got to find a way somehow Ocho and even if you don't have success early you've got to find a way to stay committed to it because if you fall behind this team 10, 14 points and you can't run the football and you look at Colby Turner, Aaron Donald, Brandon Fitz, Byron Young you got Nate Landmine played unbelievable and you got Miles Garrett and you got Jalen Watson you got Trent McDuffie, Quentin Lake, Cam Curl, they are loaded and if you look at their second year, Puna Ford, Tyler Davis they got a team.
14:15Shannon Sharpe:If they can stay healthy, that's all you're healthy is going to be the biggest key for them because we know looking at their roster, they're talented. We look at their coaching staff. We know they have a top-flight coaching staff, training staff. Can they stay healthy for 22 weeks? That is the question. If they stay healthy for 22 weeks, whew. But we find out early, Ocho, because one team, Seattle plays on Thursday, and guess what? That Friday, they take on San Francisco, a division rival. you know how division rivals are they know them we know the you because guess what Sean McVay was with Kyle Shanahan so they know each other in and out very well hey I can tell you even though they know each other in and out that the offenses are so high powered I'm looking for a 20 20 20 30 30 some game I'm talking about from both teams I'm talking about from both teams obviously they're going to be able to score as great as good as the defenses are they're still They're going to be able to put up points because it's such a, it's such a pass happy league.
15:19I think it's going to come down to when they do play, who has the ball last? Who has the ball last? Ain't nobody blowing nobody out.
15:26Shannon Sharpe:I think the thing, when we look at it, you look at teams that, that have high powered offenses or more importantly, defenses that get out to the quarterback, you must run the football. That was always our philosophy. Keep staying, stay out of long down and distance. Ocho stay in third and manageable. second and manageable you don't want to fall behind the sticks you don't you don't want them to get a bead on what you're doing if you can get a beat if they can get a bead on what you're doing you're in for a long night they're gonna teams are gonna try to establish the run you'll see early on watch Kyle Shanahan how committed he is to running the football because he know he cannot fall behind those sticks he cannot be in long down and distance and if he can do that they have a great chance to spring this upset yeah and not only running and two when it comes the passing i'm going i'm going quick game oh yeah for sure all day long i'm hey i'm going quick game and if i do have to run that i'm doing misdirection i'm not running directly right down the mouth the teeth of the defense get him going one way and bring him back the other any anything to stop they feet and who runs more who runs more play action than the 49ers you know they play they play action centric.
16:37Shannon Sharpe:Heavy hand, fake handoff, fake 19 handoff, fake 18 handoff. That's the staple of their offense. And Christian McCaffrey is somebody that can do some of everything. Don't be surprised if they try to find a matchup with him. Put him out in the slot. Let him get matched up with a safety or the middle linebacker, the wheel linebacker. Kyle Shanahan is going to find a mismatch. I ain't fooling around. I know I'm not fooling around too much trying to dilly-dally with that defensive line, especially that front seven. But if I can find a mismatch, and this is why you spend a second-round draft pick to go get a Christian McCaffrey because he's so versatile, and he can do so, so many things.
17:20Shannon Sharpe:Joe, you back? You got everything situated now? Yeah, we gooch over here. My bad, Chad. Okay, okay. Yeah. Yeah. No, but Ocho and I were saying, I think the thing is that when we played a defense that could get after the quarterback, we made a conscious effort to run the football. We had to stay in manageable down and distance. We had to be third and short. We had to be second and short. You start falling behind the sticks, you're third and long, you're second and long. Now they get a B, they know you got to pass the football. Now they got great back in because that was one of the first things that they addressed in fridge, Ocho.
17:53Shannon Sharpe:They went and got Trent McDuffie. They traded for Trent McDuffie and they made him the highest paid corner at the time of the signing. And then they go get Jalen Watson, who paired with him, who played really well, had a look down year last year, but we know he's very agile, a lengthy corner, and they says, oh, hey, Cleveland, man, y 'all ain't going to ever go nowhere, man. Get up off miles, man. What y 'all trying to do? Yeah. Hey, I mean, we'd be willing to make us an offer we can't refuse. Yeah. Well, at first, they wanted to offer Byron Young. That would have been illegal. Ain't no way you're going to have Miles Garrett, Jared Burst, and Aaron Donald?
18:30Shannon Sharpe:Ooh.
18:34Shannon Sharpe:They said, give us Jared Burst and two first-rounders. Ah, man. See, I got to play court, Ocho. I got to make sure I don't want to do this. I'm like... Right, right, right. Oh, no, let me think about this. Give us an hour or so to think about it. Oh, my God. We'll call you back. Oh, Joe, they all done doing it. Everybody, everybody, they proved. We about to get five. They said, hey, Joe, you know, you can't, you can't, hey, hey, you see the board, hey, you see the flop come. I got a royal flush. Oh, man. So now I got a ponder, Joe, I got a ponder. Oh, God mercy. Yeah. Let me check this thing. Yeah.
19:23Shannon Sharpe:Everybody jumping out there because they might have a flush. They might have a full, a boat. Yeah. And lo and behold, they pull it off. But me, Ocho and I was talking about this for the longest time, Joe. And I told Ocho, I said, Ocho, I ain't going to lie to you. I think Miles Garrett is the best defensive player in football, but I would trade him. And Ocho looked at me like, are you serious? I said, Ocho, you finished in the last place where the guy is getting you 20 sacks. You can finish in that position without him. You're not a Miles Garrett away. If you are a Miles Garrett away from the Super Bowl, the Rams believe they're a Miles Garrett away from the Super Bowl.
20:00Shannon Sharpe:Cleveland are miles away, not M-I-L-E-S. Miles away, not M-Y-L-E-S. Miles, they're miles apart. That is the difference. Go ahead, Joe. I don't think, listen, the fact that we're talking about Aaron Donald coming back, he don't have to be the old Aaron Donald. Okay, Ochoa. You know, at 35, playing 80 snaps, I think, give me the most dangerous 40 to 50 snaps a night of Aaron Donald. I'm saying compared to like a NBA superstar guy like LeBron James, Bron ain't going to play no damn 40 minutes a night. But, boy, he going to give you a hell of an effective 30, 32 minutes a night, maybe 35 minutes to where they're very effective and they somewhat putting an imprint on the game.
20:48Shannon Sharpe:He just going to be – it's going to be unfair, bro. with him and Myles Garrett on that defensive line. Man, boy, if you're a quarterback or an offensive lineman, your ass better get some sleep tonight before, boy. You got some work cut out for you. What? And the fact that they had depth at the position, too, and they can rotate, keep them from it. Hey, hey, and then, okay, Ocho, think about this. Two years off. He had two years off, so that could probably possibly help him considering the fact that he don't have an extra two years of wear and tear on the body, bro. Even though he 35, everybody talking about his age, hell, he probably going to be out there moving like he 31, 32.
21:26Yeah.
21:27Shannon Sharpe:Absolutely, yeah. I think he'll be just fine. He'll be just fine. It's going to take him a while. Because the thing is that he's been away, the instinct is going to take – he's going to have to play Ocho and Joe to get those instincts back, to get those fighting senses tingling. Because, you know, hey, it takes you a while, even when you come back from the offseason, because you haven't been out there running against guys and helmets and guys trying to peel your cap. So now all of a sudden you have to put yourself in that environment to understand what it takes. So he might get cracked the first time, but you won't crack him again.
21:58Shannon Sharpe:Oh, that wham block might get him the first time. But he knows. He's going to be able to see when that guy's sitting heavy, when that guy's sitting light, when that guy's, oh yeah, we got a flyer. Hey, we got a flyer. Hey, you know what he's going to be going to pick the fish now. Oh, yeah. He's going to pick the fish. That's what you do. That's what you do. You find the weak. The thing is, they used to move him up and down the line. They'll play him at a wide nine. They'll play him at a seven. They'll put him at a five. They'll put him at a shade, which is a three. They'll put him over the number.
22:33Shannon Sharpe:They'll play him anywhere. Now, you got Miles Garrett, who also can move up and down the line. Just imagine if you put both of them guys over the guard, Ocho. Hey, you got to think about the multitude of ways that they use was Myles Garrett in Cleveland. They had him roaming around. They had him like he was playing linebacker. He's sitting, hold on, he's sitting in the A-gap. He's doing the, remember when he was doing the - Yeah, he did the dribble. Yeah, he ended up with it. He ended up, man. He's doing all kinds of stuff, man. So, I mean, having players like that allows you to do so much defensively.
23:06And it reminds me of the Steelers and the Ravens of the early 2000s, where you guys ran, they ran all these different exotic coverages and they could do stuff that other team couldn't do. because of the personnel that they had. It allows you to do more when you have players like that. You can take chances on the back end because of them. You know, so, I mean, it's dope, and it would be the perfect NFL storybook ending for Aragona to come back one year and hope you get another championship right in your own backyard in L.A.

23:36Shannon Sharpe:I don't think there's nothing more movie script than this here, considering the fact that the Super Bowl is back in L.A. It won the first one. What? Come on, man. The only thing is I think it's going to get derailed by them Cowboys. I'm just saying. Now we all just signed that right tackle y 'all signed from Pittsburgh. I sure hope you get the play. He back up. He back up. What you mean? He back up. You do realize, Terrence, it's not like Terrence Steele is Eric Williams. You absolutely right. I understand the inconsistency on that part of our offensive tackle. Listen, but here, we got to make some room for improvement.
24:13Shannon Sharpe:but boy listen I ain't want to see this I ain't going to lie to y 'all I ain't want to see Aaron Donald I mean hell dealing with Myles Garrett going to be more than enough you hear me oh yeah and that man Myles Garrett guess what now Ojo for the most part all his home games he's never going to have to worry about inclement weather he ain't got to worry about no snow he ain't got to worry about no rain he ain't got to worry about no blistering cold he ain't got to worry about nothing because guess what I don't know if they're if they're the home team this year so they might have nine games at home in that dome.
24:45Shannon Sharpe:And plus another, not me, excuse me, eight games, nine games, plus one in Arizona. So that's 10 games. This is Matt Rogers from Lost Culture East. That's with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang. This is Bowen Yang from Lost Culture East. That's with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang. You know when people try a new food and suddenly it's like, wait. That's the reaction a lot of people are having when they first try Kewpie mayo. It's the one with the red cap and the little baby on the bottle. You've probably seen it in the grocery store before. And if you've ever just walked past it, some people would say that's a huge mistake.
25:17Because this mayo is different. Most mayonnaise uses whole eggs. Kewpie only uses egg yolks, which gives it this rich umami flavor. It's smoother, deeper, and almost buttery. Once people try it, they start putting it on everything. Egg sandwiches, fries, burgers. Some fans even swear by dipping pizza crust in it. And once you notice it, you start seeing it everywhere. Chefs use it. Restaurants use it. People who really care about flavor use it. Never tried it? Grab the bottle with the red cap next time you're at the store. Put it on just about anything. Then you'll understand. Kupi, the original Japanese mayonnaise.

29:47Good weather. Good weather. Hold on.
29:51Shannon Sharpe:Australia's going to be nice to start the season. So now that's 11 of my 17 games in an ideal situation. And that's the one thing you don't want to pass. You want to pass Rush to A. It's raining. He's slipping all over the place. It's cold. He can't get his footing. You let a guy like that, he's able to play on solid footing. It's going to be a – If they can stay healthy. That's it, Ochojo. If they can stay healthy, you got your damn hands full. Ooh, you got more than that, boy. Who the Rams open up with again? The Rams open up with the 49ers in Australia. Damn. That's going to be a good one. On Friday, because we know we got the Patriots in Seattle on Thursday and then Friday.
30:40Shannon Sharpe:On Thursday. And then basically you got college football season starts Saturday coming. So everybody's going to be playing by then. I can't wait. It's about to get real, real interesting. Yes, sir. The thing is, it's like you had to have a good sense that Miles Garrett was coming back. Because when you hear a guy start talking about retirement, you might as well go ahead and retire. If you start talking about coming back, you might as well come on back. He mentioned that he had been gearing up for this for the last 13, 14 weeks. Obviously, he didn't want to do no training camp. He didn't want to put any more wear and tear on his body that he has to.
31:16Shannon Sharpe:And so he was doing things necessary in order to prepare his body to withstand the rigors of what it's going to take for him to go through an NFL season. I agree with you, Joe. He ain't going to play nowhere near the 60, 65 snaps that normally required of him. He'd probably be somewhere down in the mid to high 30s. Yeah. That's what I do with him. I'm not, hey, don't, hey, I want you fresh. Come fourth quarter, I want Miles Garrett like, hey, I can take the whole fourth. I can take the whole fourth. I can take the whole fourth quarter. Because that's what you do, Joe. You know what you're saying?
31:50Shannon Sharpe:You give that guy that long rest. So the last four or five minutes of the game, I mean, the last four or five minutes of the third quarter, you let him rest. Yeah. Bro, you got to bring it home now. You got to bring it home. But on another note, Arcan Ocho, even if he isn't producing like double-digit sacks, offensive coordinators still have to account for him. You know what I mean? Like it don't matter. Let's say he don't come out and be sack crazy. Yeah, I bet they still be doubling him. For sure, hell yeah. He's going to be able to affect the impact games without getting the sacks. Now, if he does get the sacks, that's a cherry on top.
32:30But it's the fact that you still got to account for him any time he's on the field. Now you got two people that are just as good. You got to account for both?
32:38Shannon Sharpe:Hey, boy, it's going to be a hell of a season. But I think the thing is when you look at them and you look at what they have defensively, when you got Myles Garrett and you got a Kobe Turner and you got a Brandon Fisk and you got a Byron Young, but you got some dogs. You got some guys that, hey, as Wade Phillips used to, as Wade told me when we were there in the Super Bowl, he said, I'm going to turn them loose. He said, I got Vaughn, I got D-Ware, I got Malik Jackson, I got Wolf, I got that secondary. I just tell him, go hunt the quarterback. That's what you do, go hunt the quarterback, son. As a matter of fact, find the running back on your way to the quarterback.
33:18Shannon Sharpe:Hey, I want you to hit him too. Hit him too. I want you. I want the quarterback. Al Davis' famous word said the quarterback must go down, and he must go down hard. And it needs to happen within the first two series of the game. Yeah. Now, you can't put the quarterback down like they used to put the quarterback down. Because remember now, Ocho, you get three of those flags that they told you about, you get suspended a game. Yeah. Yeah, come on. Come on, sit at home and watch the game from home. And consider the kind of money that Miles Garrett making, Miles is like, nah, I'm good. I'm just going to go ahead and sling you down.
33:53Shannon Sharpe:Hey, you'll be okay. You really want to make him mad. Just wrap him up and just hold him there. Just hold him. And like Jalen Carter had the – who did he have? He picked up somebody and just held him. And held up one hand in there like this here. Hey, it's amazing where the game is now. It's amazing as opposed to where it used to be. They took the physicality out of it, Ocho. There's no way to intimidate your opponent, especially if you play defense. There's no way. No, no, no, you can't. You can't. But see, the essence of what football really was was about intimidation. Because how else can I move a man against his will?
34:39Shannon Sharpe:I got to put this man in fear of his life. You might catch it, Ocho. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, you can't cross this middle of the first quarter. Can't cross again in the second. We got something for that ass in the third and the fourth, though. Because back then, see, now you can't. If the ball gets batted or the ball is short, they still used to be able to knock hell out the receiver, Joe. You can't do that now. That's a flag. Yeah. Hey, let that ball get tipped if you want to. Let that ball come up short if you want to. They did not care. Uh-uh. Got to have the head on the swivel, boy. So now, that's why you see all these receivers brave.
35:24Shannon Sharpe:Everybody catching the ball with one hand like Michael George. They're catching the ball with one hand across the building. I'm like, damn. I see. You think about it. Ocho, you might go two, three weeks before you saw a receiver catch the ball with one hand. You see at least three to four one-handed catches a week now. Every game. Every game. It's hard for me to be impressed with a one-handed catch because I see them all the time. You used to be really impressed when you saw Chris Carter make a one-handed catch or you saw one of these receivers make a one-handed catch. Now you get guys that's just guys making one-handed catch because there's no fear of going across the middle.
36:11Shannon Sharpe:No fear of getting hit, really. No, nothing. Nothing. And the defensive receiver, you can't – hey, the guy pulls up. Now, man, they used to look – shallow cross, linebacker would hunt you up. If you not looking like you running because you said man's on and that quarterback not looking, Coach Belichick had a famous saying, look, if you can't cover him, knock his ass down. Yep. And, you know, you can do that within that five-yard range anyway. Hey, it's hard for you to run around on the ground, Joe. I imagine. Especially if you're looking up through your ear holes. Like, who did that? Who hit me?
36:48Shannon Sharpe:Oh,
36:52Shannon Sharpe:them some good days, bro. Hey, they made a man out. Hey, those days put hair on your chest, Ocho. Oh, we. They put hair on your chest, Joe, because you're going around, hey, all that talking, like guys be talking now, you had to be really, really special to say, because not anybody would just talk, say something, because they know they protected. Yeah, back then they gonna hunt your ass, wasn't they? What? Oh yeah, Joe. Joe, I'm not saying there was a bounty out for you, boy, but my mouth, man, Joe. What? I can imagine, Ocho, I can imagine. I enjoyed every minute of it, Joe. Please, I need you angry, I need you upset, I need you playing with aggression because all you gonna do, you gonna mess up.
37:37Okay, the first game, Ocho,
37:39Shannon Sharpe:So the Patriots Seattle, they play Wednesday. Oh, wait, this Wednesday coming? Next Wednesday. Oh, so we got a whole nother week. We got a whole nother week. Okay, okay, okay. The 49ers play the Patriots. Okay, okay. Then that Thursday, because normally the game was on Thursday, but because Netflix has this game, which is 7.35 p.m. Netflix. Hey, hey, hold on, hold on. Y 'all football trying to cut into the damn basketball. Y 'all got football on Wednesday night. I told you, Joe, y 'all might as well forget about it. Y 'all might as well, Christmas Day, y 'all can forget about that. Oh, we gonna be battling.
38:16Shannon Sharpe:We gonna be, we gonna forget about that. We gonna be battling, huh? Yeah, we gonna be. This is Matt Rogers from Lost Culture East. That's with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang. This is Bowen Yang from Lost Culture East. That's with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang. You know when people try on new food and suddenly it's like, wait. That's the reaction a lot of people are having when they first try Kewpie mayo. It's the one with the red cap and the little baby on the bottle. You've probably seen it in the grocery store before. 43:14Shannon Sharpe:We're going to be battling. We're going to be game for game. Yeah. Y 'all going to do 3 million views and they're going to do 33 million views.
43:25Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, we're going to be battling. You better not ever, ever, ever let the Cowboys play on Christmas. It's over. The Cowboys are going to have three or four of the biggest games regardless. Oh, yeah. So, yeah, once the NFL found out, like, hold on. They like to get up and watch football. They love football. It was over. It ain't no going back. Oh, our special guest joins us. We'll come back to this stuff. We got a very special guest joining us, rookie D-tackle Landon Robinson. You dominated the preseason, bro. A seventh-round draft pick. Tell us your mindset coming into camp as a seventh-round draft pick.
44:04Shannon Sharpe:You know a lot of times those seventh-round draft picks, They use those guys as camp bodies. They don't really think you're going to be able to stick it out. But somehow you found your niche, and here we are on the 53-man roster. Congratulations, dude. Thank you so much, Anka. I appreciate you. And first off, thank you guys so much for having me. Yeah, like you said it, you know, as a seventh-round pick, you know, you come into the league and, you know, you have that chip on your shoulder, right? You have that chip on your shoulder, and all you want to do is just show the team and show your teammates and the coaches that they can trust you.
44:33So that was my mindset. You know, I came in and I was like, I just want to show out, you know, just do what I've done, you know, throughout my entire career and just continue to learn and just get better. Obviously, it's a next level. It's the NFL. It's not college. But I just had that mindset that I keep getting better every single day. And at one point, you'll be making plays. So that was my mindset.
44:52Shannon Sharpe:You're from Copley, Ohio. So this is extra special for you. How far is that from Cincinnati, if you don't mind me asking? It is about three and a half hours. Yeah, not too bad at all. So you have some family You have some family in every home game Yes sir, yeah, they've been coming up for all the preseason games And it's been awesome Yes sir What has it been like for you Obviously Not going drafted and the learning curve The learning curve and being able to catch up Most of the time for myself, I think about the speed of the game The speed of the game To me, it was like, oh my goodness This is ridiculous For you, how has that learning curve been for you And have you gotten acclimated to the speed of the game yet?
45:31Yeah, I think the speed of the game when you first get there, you know, when I first got to Cincinnati, it's definitely like, oh, these guys are a little bit bigger, a little bit faster. Everybody's a lot smarter. I think that was the biggest difference is, you know, everybody is everybody really knows the game. Like, you don't realize how much you don't know about football until you're around guys that that really do this. You know, like Dexter Lawrence, you know, Jonathan Allen, those guys are seasoned vets, you know, BJ Hill. So being able to learn from those guys, you know, throughout camp, I think I've I've gotten better.
46:00I've gotten used to the speed of the game now. And, you know, in preseason, I got the chance to get out there and kind of get acclimated a little bit. But I'm excited to go into week one and just continue to learn and grow.
46:12Shannon Sharpe:That's dope. Yes, sir. When there's a situation where like when you said these guys are a lot smarter, they use every mistake, every misstep, they use that against you. You take one false step, that guy's got you cut off. These guys are so and you look at this guy like, ain't no way you're going to cut me off. and the next thing you know, you're like, damn, get over the top, son. Hey, Robinson, get over the top of that. That is your play. That's right. That's right. And it's that slightest misstep. And that's why being able to study the game is so important because they use every single mistake that you use, every single mistake that you make.
46:47It could cost you in the run game for sure.
46:49Shannon Sharpe:Can I ask you a question? What round did you think you were going to get drafted in? Because I was a seventh-round draft pick also. And I thought I would go somewhere between the first and the third round. And so I ended up going to seventh round because when I came out, the draft was on a Sunday. So now obviously it's a Thursday, Friday, Saturday. So what round did you think you were going to get drafted in that put this, that put this chip, you say, oh, you know what? I got something for y 'all ass when I get to camp. I don't know. I don't know who's going to draft me, but y 'all will get a hell of, y 'all will get a pissed off player and I'm going to punish everybody that goes in front of me.
47:18That's right. And that's, that's exactly the mindset that you got to have. You know, obviously people got projections and where they think you're going to go, you know, based off what coaches are saying. And so I heard anything from third round to fourth round to fifth round. Right. So I was kind of waiting between that day to day three range. And I was just waiting, just waiting with my family. We had a big old draft party we were doing, which was awesome. And my mom set that up. So thank you to her. But but no, I was like waiting between that those rounds. And I started to get later and later and later.
47:48And we're sitting there. Obviously, that chip is just building, just building and building. And you're just thinking about all the coaches that you've talked to and just all the relationships that you've built over that time. And all you want is the opportunity, just the opportunity to go out there and just to shine. So the Bengals gave me the opportunity and I'm just blessed. And no matter what round it was, I'm just blessed to be able to get picked up.
48:08Shannon Sharpe:Hey, what do you tell me? What do you think the biggest difference or preparation when it comes to like college football and the pros? What do you think going to be the biggest difference? I think studying the game, the film room is the biggest difference. I feel like in college, especially at the Naval Academy, you don't have a whole lot of time to really, you know, dive deep into your opponent the way that you do now. Right. In the NFL, you know, it's your job. So that's your job to study that. But in college, you don't have that time. So I think that's the biggest difference. And I've been learning that with my coach, you know, Coach Jerry Montgomery.
48:39He's been teaching me how to watch the film, how to study the backfield sets, how to see different tendencies before the snap even happens. And so that's how you play faster and that's how you become a great player. So I'm still learning that and I'm excited to just keep growing.
48:53Shannon Sharpe:Hold on. I like that. Naval Academy, man, your big ass can't fit in no sub. You're going to get stuck going down there. I've tried it before and I'm definitely not no submarine and no service. But yeah, I sort of select the Marine Corps out of the Naval Academy. So Marine, not a submarine. Yeah. I like that. One of the things I like that you said, especially as early in your career, understanding that you have to be a student of the game, you know, watching film, watching Tennessee. So it makes it easier for you on Sundays. So being at your position, I need to know who do you watch? You got to give me your top three, your top three at your position that you watch that you might want to steal stuff from and mow your game.
49:37Absolutely. You know, as a, as an undersized D tackle, obviously Aaron Donald is probably the number one guy I watched since, And since college, I've been watching him for years, years. And I try to model my game after him and his explosiveness, the way he contorts his body to play different blocks. I think he's number one for sure. And then I say Geno Atkins, you know, Bangles guy. So there we go. That's a good one. That's a good one. Yeah, Geno Atkins. Yeah, he was also explosive. You know, I got that first step, just quickness off the ball and using his hands. And I'd say Kalaja Kansi, you know, on Tampa Bay.
50:11He's a great, another undersized tackle, but he uses his hands well, and, yeah, he gets in that backfield. So I study those guys all the time, just watch their film, and just try and find different things I can take from them. Yeah.
50:23Shannon Sharpe:You look at Aaron Donald. If you look at Aaron, he always plays on edges. He never gives the man a full body. You're never going to get his breastplate. You get this, you get this. He's wax on, wax off. Hey, hey, hey. And he's so tight with it. I've never seen a guy his size that can swim and then get low to get right back. Because the quarterback right there, he's like, if I get too far up the field, I'm going to run past the quarterback. He can swim and dip so quick. He's the best I've seen at that. And I've seen a lot of great tackles. I've seen Sapp. I played in the league with Sapp and Johnny Randall and a lot of these guys.
50:59Shannon Sharpe:He's the best I've seen at this. Yeah, no doubt. And I had the opportunity to meet him, actually, in the pre-draft process. And I got to – I went to Pittsburgh. I went up to Pittsburgh and I got to meet him and kind of do like the size difference. We're like the same size, which was that was awesome. You know, seeing that that he can do it in the NFL. That gave me a lot of confidence. So got to meet him, pick his brain a little bit. And, you know, I'm excited that he's back in the league now. So hopefully we'll see him one day. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What do you think about Cincinnati? I mean, obviously, you know, you've been there.
51:28What? About four or five months. And I love it. I love Cincinnati so much. I've never fallen in love with the city so fast. the people are so loving you know they care about you know their athletes and they take care of them and i'm just so glad i'm so happy to be here and it's like i said it's only three and a half hours from from where i'm from so my family can come up um but it's just been such a blessing to be here
51:50Shannon Sharpe:for sure so what what do you guys do in copley is it is it rural area do you farm in is it ag ag what what's going on in copley yes it's a suburb of akron cleveland so a little suburb a nice little area, but definitely not too much to do there compared to Cincinnati, but it's a nice place, and I grew up there, and I definitely call it home for sure. Wow. You're setting the goals. Obviously, making the team was the number one goal. So is there any other goals? If you said, man, I can be a rotational player, I can get me about four or five sacks, I just want to contribute. So whatever the contribution, whatever that looks like, count your boy in.
52:32That's right. That's right. I think you took the words right out of my mouth. Just finding a way to contribute early in whatever way that I can. Either they need me on special teams, they need me as that third down guy. Whatever they need me to do, I'm down for that. Just finding my niche in there. I think that's my biggest thing. I think that's my on-the-field goal, just to find my way on the field. Then my off-the-field goal is just helping I start a foundation, the Atlanta Robinson Foundation. it's a mental health you know providing that advocacy for mental health right I think that's something especially in the NFL that not a lot of people like to talk about right and that's something that I wanted to bring that to the community and to Cincinnati you know with this platform that I have and it's been such a blessing to be able to do that and just provide that for the city so I'm growing my foundation uh just trying to just work with that and my mom and I have been working with that and she's been doing a great job with it so kind of just two different goals that I got there but it's been a blessing to be here and I'm just excited to just keep going
53:30Shannon Sharpe:Lander, you know, you got to be smart to get into the Naval Academy. You know, Ocho, Joe and I, we couldn't have gotten a deal with our grades. You had up all our SAT scores and they probably wouldn't have touched yours. Yeah, you know, you got to be a little smart for sure. The Naval Academy, it's a special place and it's a leadership laboratory. So you go in there and you're challenged and you're shaped to be an officer in the military. So definitely it's the challenging place, but you learn a lot about yourself. And I've learned a lot about how to handle adversity and how to grow when times are challenging, which is that's what football is.
54:06And I think that's the reason why we've had so many guys. We have a few more guys than usual coming out of the academies playing professional sports because it just builds you as a person and as a player. You know what everyone has, too, that comes out of any academy? Disappointment. discipline. Everybody has discipline and that is the number one thing that you do need to do anything or just to be successful at anything especially when it comes to the game of football having the discipline to do everything the right way consistently over and over and over again. So
54:41Shannon Sharpe:have you thought about what it's going to be like running out that tunnel for the first time you're a professional that's when it really hit I mean look you know I got drafted I'm doing the preseason I'm doing the OT I'm doing all this stuff when there's going to come a Sunday and that stadium, the jungle is going to be rocking and you're going to run out there and that crowd is going to be screaming. Have you thought about what that moment is going to be like? Man, I've thought about it, but it's like a moment of it'll really hit you once you see it, right? You can think about it. You can hear the fans screaming and all that and the cameras and the lights, but it'll really hit me when I get that opportunity to run out there on week one and I'm just so excited and it's such a blessing.
55:25I got the call today that I made the team for my position coach. He called me. Yeah, he called me and he was like, hey Landon, how do you think camp went? And I was like, I think it went pretty good and I just tried to stack days and just get better every single day. And then he was like, what do you think you'll do if you don't make the team? And I was like, oh man, just try and see what other opportunities are out there for me and if not, then I'll go back active duty and I'll go serve. Then he was like, good thing you don't have to go do that. I know, I know. I just started crying. I just said, thank you so much.
56:03I'm just going to go give it all I got. That's what I said. Just an emotional time, but it's times like that you think about running out that tunnel for the first time and it all just hits you at once. I think I'll be definitely a little emotional, but I'm excited for it.
56:18Shannon Sharpe:Coach got my man anxiety all up and everything, playing games Hey, Coach Trippin. Coach Trippin. I appreciate you. Hey, we need one thing. We need one thing. Now, you know I'm the king of celebration. Yes, sir. King of celebration. When you get a sack, you got to have something. I got it. You got to have something. I got something. So during the preseason, I had four sacks on PFF over the preseason. So that was a blessing. Yes, sir. Every time I get a set, I get up, right? And I come to attention, right? Military style, right? Yeah. And I hit a little salute. A little salute to the crowd. There we go, there we go.
56:57Yeah, a little salute to the crowd. So I started to catch a little bit of fire, but you know, I'm excited to keep doing that, keep making plays and that'll be my celebration. So that'll be fun. Yes, sir.
57:08Shannon Sharpe:That's a good one. Thank you. You realize what Cincinnati is known for. They put chili on everything. You order grits and eggs, they put chili on it. What? You get a hamburger, they put chili on it. You get ice cream, they put chili on it. Have you tried the chili yet? I have. Skyline has definitely been something that I've kind of gotten accustomed to. I'm just like, I can't eat it every day. It's not an everyday item for sure, but I'll eat it and I'll eat it. I do like it. I like the taste here and there, but definitely you can't eat it every day. That's all I'll say. You can't eat it every day.
57:40Shannon Sharpe:Man, my stomach hurt now I was thinking about eating it. I already know. I already know. I ain't got I know I'm still waiting for the chili. No, yeah, no. Once or twice, you know, a month or so. Yeah, that would be good. But when you called your family and told them, hey, guys, I made the team, what was that celebration like? What was that background noise? Because I know you picked up the phone and called your mom. I did. She was like. Yes, I called her first, and she was actually on her way back. She was driving somewhere, and I called her, FaceTimed her, and I told her and I could barely get the words out because I was like, man, like, it's just such a blessing.
58:20I told her I made a team and she started crying and I barely got any words out because I was choked up. I was choked up. I was probably crying for like a good 15, 20 minutes after the call. So when I called her, I was still, you know, still crying and just trying to just, you know, soak it all up, you know, but she definitely, she was crying with me and she just, you know, congratulated me and said the hard work, you know, she's just getting started and just keep going keep stacking days um and you'll be wherever you want to be you know because we got some big
58:49Shannon Sharpe:goals yeah hey them emotions come up bro because you got to think back when you was a kid and this was only a dream you know what i mean and now that's reality you know what i mean like it's almost like you got to pinch yourself sometime i've been there you know you get drafted you're like hold on i'm really a professional i'm really an nfl player you know what i mean i totally get So for you to be lost for words and call your mom, bro, that's huge, bro. Congratulations. I know what that feeling is like. Just try and seize the moment, bro. Keep working hard. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Thank you. I do.
59:23I got an older brother, younger brother. So I called them right after I called my mom. And they were like, my little brother don't quite get it. He's a junior in high school now, but he don't really, like, know the whole thing. He kind of thought I was already on the team. And from when I got drafted, he was like, oh. A lot of people think that you get drafted that you're automatically on the team. without right for like the first through three right the first three rounds yeah not everybody else you got to make it you got to make it you got to make it but then my older brother you know I called him with his new wife he just got married um like two weeks ago so yeah so thank you um so I called him with his wife and I was just talking to them and he started crying on the phone and it was just super emotional day but it's such a blessing though it's all like you said all the hard work from years back way back because my little my older brother he used to help me train back in our garage when I was a kid.
1:00:11Just all those times, you think about that and it's just all the emotion just comes flowing.
1:00:15Shannon Sharpe:So they never played a sport? Any of your other brothers played? No, my older brother, he did the band. He played the trombone in the band. He played baseball way back in the day, but he didn't play football. And my little brother, he's also in the band. He does gymnastics. So I was the only football guy in the family, but I'm just so blessed to be able to help them out and help provide for them in the future. Are you musically inclined because you say your brother played the trombone, now your brother, the other brother's in the band? You can play football. You couldn't play an instrument, huh?
1:00:46Right. Nah, nah. I couldn't take it past high school. No, past middle school. Nah, I played the tuba back in the day and that was about it. It was a little tuba. It was a little heavier so I could kind of lift as I was playing it. So that's about it. That's about all I got. I like it. Hey, you know what? If you need a nutritionist, you know, I'm available. Yes sir, I definitely do, thank you. Yeah, yeah, I definitely need to get plugged in. Man, don't listen to him. You know what, no part of his nutrition is that. His nutrition.
1:01:14Shannon Sharpe:All right, I'm glad to take you up, man. I appreciate you, yes sir. Well, congratulations, man, on making the team. That's a big shout out. Congratulations to you and your family. I know they're extremely, extremely excited. We wish you the best of luck, stay healthy. Hey, now the journey starts. Yes sir. Yes sir. A lot of people think the journey starts when you get drafted. No, no, no, no, no, no. The journey starts now. That's right. Yes, sir. Thank you so much. Stay healthy and we'll see you down the road, bro. Thank you so much. Appreciate you guys. Let's see y 'all boys. Yes, sir. Let's do it.
1:01:44Shannon Sharpe:Thank you guys for having me. Appreciate you guys. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Have a good one. That's Landon Robinson. Seventh round draft pick out of the Naval Academy. Go ahead, Ocho. I got you to the bathroom real quick. Seventh round draft pick out of the Naval Academy. Made it onto a roster. Look, I'm trying to think. Roger Staubach is probably the greatest Naval alum. President Carter went to the Naval Academy. Napoleon McCallum went to the Naval Academy. Those are like three people that's the top of my head. Obviously, there are a lot of other people that are mostly military, but Roger Staubach went to active duty and came back.
1:02:23Shannon Sharpe:Roger run the Heisman Trophy. He came back. Man. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Man, that's what's up for that young man, bro. He seem excited. Oh, my goodness. And you get to share with your family. You know how I go, bro. Yeah, man. You know what that's like. Yeah, man. Because, you know what, like you said, I mean, a lot of people think – my sister thought that. My sister thought just what his little brother thought. I thought you was on the team. Nah, nah, nah, nah. If I'd have been the first three rounds, yeah, I'd have been on the team. Yeah. But, nah. No, no, no. You got to make the team. Seventh round or sixth round, they got to make the team.
1:02:59Shannon Sharpe:Back then, Joe, we had 12 rounds. They shortened it. Now they don't have 12 rounds. We used to have 12 rounds. But, man, you could just hear the excitement in his voice. You could see the excitement on his face. It's always great when you talk to young people like that, don't you, they're genuinely excited. His mom is excited for him. And, you know, what happened? Everybody that he talked to, what did they do? They cried. Cried, yeah. The emotions. Yeah. you know sometimes you know people try to be tough and you know i i'm not holding nothing in hey because that's a moment that's a moment i've dream dripped up and they know how hard you work bro they know the work that you had to put in to get to get that you're part of the one percent now yes come on man absolutely hey you know what else you got to think about too is the people that he called that cried as well i'm sure they had to make their sacrifices well along the way he said when they were younger.
1:03:57Shannon Sharpe:Oh, David Robinson also went to the Navy. Yes, sir. The Admiral. Hey, hey, hey, hold up. We talking about David Robinson. Hey, man, back then when guys, man, you see how chiseled David Robinson was when he came? Yeah, you see those caps on his shoulders? Yeah. Ocho, Ocho. All the guys were like that, Joe. Look at Olajuwon. Look how Olajuwon looked. Look at Patrick Ewing how he looked. Oh, David Robinson 7 '1", running like a deer. Yes. That man was different, Ocho. Do you hear me? Yeah, yeah. yes sir hey but you go back and look at them old school centers ocho i mean nate thurman nate thurman looked like he was 32 when he was 21.
1:04:37go ahead hey hey i got a question i'm glad you just said that uncle joe think about this how come everybody in their 70s 70s and 80s look much
1:04:45Shannon Sharpe:older than their age because they had it hard they live hard they work did they work you got to realize what school they went to, Ocho. They grew up in, a lot of them people grew up in the rural. They had to work. They lifting cotton. They doing manual labor. Yes. Them boys live hard lives, Ocho. Yes. Now some of them did party hard too now. Hey, listen, but that body, those bodies, those bodies came from hard work. Those bodies came from lifting. And I ain't talking about no damn basketball either. Oh yeah, and them boy, hey, they was on. Is that California? Nah, that's G. That's a daughter, bro.
1:05:27Shannon Sharpe:Man, I can't see. Looking just like her dad over there, boy. She said, nah, let me go on that one. She said, let me go on that one. Hey, hey, hey, Ocho, I know them girls got you wrapped around they finger, boy. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Absolutely. They do. Man. They covered that sad daddy. How much it gonna cost? I don't even respond. That's my response. How much? Hey, daddy, what you doing, Joe? Hey, daddy, what you doing? Man, how much? Hey, look. I ain't got but one girl, Ocho. Hey, boy, listen. I can't even imagine having two three. Three? Six, Joe. Oh, my God. Yeah, you... Six? Hey, Joe, tell them about that what I sent you this morning.
1:06:24Shannon Sharpe:What'd you send me? Oh, boy. Oh, man. Ocho, he got you beat. What happened? He got 15 boys and 12 girls. Yes, Ocho. Kid. By like 19 different women, bro. I'm talking about by 19. Did you hear how many kids just called out, bro? Hold on. How many again? He got 15 boys and 12 girls. Oh, he must be real old. Oh, he's a age. Yeah. He might've been 40. Ocho, he said he got like - Guess how much he gotta pay child support? How much? $200. Why? Oh, so they in the middle of nowhere then. Why you gotta only pay$200? Yeah, that don't sound right. He's just like, you heard the judge told him, I know you, I would like that y 'all have you pay more, but you got other responsibilities.
1:07:19Shannon Sharpe:Let's think about it. If he paid$200 per child, he got 27 kids. Think about how much that is a month. Ooh. That's just$200 per child. Imagine if he had to pay 500 or a thousand. Lord forbid he had to pay a thousand a month. Hey, that got to be somewhere small, huh? Like a little smaller town. I don't know, I don't know. Hey, Joey, it got to be a small town, but it ain't much to do with outside. outside of you know what? Outside of pro-cho. Ocho, he said he got like five or six that's at the same age, born in the same year. Yeah. By all five or six different women. But there was one guy in Tennessee, I think it was Tennessee, Chad.
1:08:00Shannon Sharpe:It might've been Tennessee. He got 33 kids. Ain't no, I cut this thing off before I have a damn 33 kids. That's impossible. 33? That's impossible. Boy, I'm chopping that thing off. I'm chopping it off. It's over with. There ain't no way we ain't getting no damn 33. I'll tell you that now. Check, Google that, where the guy? That's - 33? Huh? That's say that's$5 ,400 a month. Think about that. For every person, he can't pay$5 ,400 a month. Ooh. He can't pay that$5 ,400. Do you understand$5 ,400 a month?
1:08:38Shannon Sharpe:That's what,$6 ,800? You sure that's not AI? No, I said it to Joe. I said Joe the clip. But there's a guy. Hey, Chad, where's that guy from? Google it, Ocho. There's a guy that got 33 kids. I think it's Tennessee. Boy. That don't even sound possible.
1:09:08Shannon Sharpe:Joe said, I'm done. I ain't no more good. I'm cutting it off. That's all wet. Hey, Joe, what you got? You got three. You done? You done? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
1:09:21Oh, Damond George is a truck driver who went viral
1:09:25Shannon Sharpe:for fathering 33 children with multiple women. Yeah, it just popped up. He had 30 children with 11 different women, child support went to less than$2 a month. Well, ain't no way. Ain't no way. I got three, that three strikes. I done struck out. It's over with.
1:09:47Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, that bad. Cause when he said, cause I thought he was gonna say, yeah, I got 15. He said, no, I got 15 boys and 12 girls.
1:09:58He's got to be small places. I don't care.
1:10:01Shannon Sharpe:I don't care if it ain't 12 people in the city. Yeah. Ocho, even if it is small, guess what? That should even be more because everybody knows everybody. It should be it should be it should be more likely in a place like California in a place like New York where there's a vast population You dealing with you dealing you dealing in a small town like that 33 Hold on But listen it wouldn't happen like that in other cities, right? Because the small tap they got to be a small place and he got to be the man He got to be the man in order to get them to agree to even do exactly what's happening to get to 33 when you get to 5, you get to 6, you get to 7, when you hit double digits and they are still willing you got to be that boy.
1:10:49Shannon Sharpe:He's a truck driver. He's a truck driver Ocho so he's going state to state. Don't nobody, nobody, nobody. You can hit Ocho. You can hit about three states in a day now. I can see that Ocho. I can see it. Yeah! I can see it. No, but you don't want to say you want to keep having kids. Go on to have 30. You want to impress me, have 20. I don't believe you can get 20. No, I can't because I want twins. If I get twins, I'm done. Damn. You see, I joke, I got mine, but the ship is run. It's a tight ship being run. Yeah. Everybody working in unison. Ain't no issues, ain't no problems, ain't no drama. Everybody work under one umbrella So it's been It's always been easy Always been easy Because everybody's aligned With the same end goal No issues, no problems Kids come first If you need me, you got it If it's emergency, hit me Make me your last option But you're always good I think that we just I never had no issues I got dudes that play in the league Man, how you did it?
