In short
The Nightcap Hour 1 episode focuses on three NFL topics: the Bears’ 27-7 rout of the Eagles, criticism of Philadelphia’s offense and Jalen Hurts’ decision-making, and the Vikings trading rookie QB J.J. McCarthy to the Giants.
Guests
Chad Ochocinco Johnson (former NFL Pro Bowler/All-Pro, wide receiver) and “ISO Joe” Johnson (former NFL player; co-host). They debate game film and roster moves from a player’s perspective.
Key claims and notable examples
- Bears: Case Keenum (filling in for injured Caleb Williams) goes 24/34, 247 yards, 2 TD passes plus a TD run; Chicago’s defense dominates and pressures Hurts.
- Eagles: Hurts takes a late hit/“bait” that costs a 15-yard penalty and changes the game; Philadelphia’s offense is described as “mundane” with “no creativity,” struggling to run (Saquon Barkley ~82 yards).
- Turnovers: Eagles are portrayed as sputtering—multiple three-and-outs, fumbles, and interceptions.
- Vikings/Giants: Minnesota trades McCarthy (23, 10th overall in 2024) to New York for a 2027 fifth-round pick; hosts question why, given Jameis Winston remains starter per John Harbaugh.

3:36Shannon Sharpe:Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. As you watch the Bears destroy the Eagles, this game was really not competitive. Jalen Hurts didn't look the same, Joe, to me after he took that big shot. I don't know what he was thinking, why he relaxed like that. I understand the 15-yard penalty, but no part of his body was out of bounds when that guy hit him. That guy had committed to hit him. You better go out earlier. This is not the fourth quarter. This is not overtime. You don't want to take shots like that. And he looked like a different quarterback after he took that shot. Y 'all know who I am. I'm your favorite unk.

As we touched on a little bit earlier, guys, the Bears defeat the Eagles 27-7.
5:23Shannon Sharpe:The game really was a competitive case. Keenum stepped in for injured Caleb Williams and did an outstanding job. 24-34, 247, two touchdown passes, one touchdown run, running. I thought they did a great job of controlling this entire game. The only thing I would say to them, I don't know why Ben Johnson didn't take those points because he's telling me he has basically a lack of respect for the Eagles' offense not to take those points because normally in a situation like that, that early in the ballgame, you take the points. He elected not to, and it did not come back to bite him in the butt. But the Eagles look bad.
5:56Shannon Sharpe:Let's first – let's talk about the Bears. Look, Caleb Williams is an engine, and I was like – I was concerned because Case Keenum hadn't started and God knows when. Yeah. And for him to come in and to play as well as he played, I think he has to get a game ball because he did an unbelievable job of throwing the football. Luther Burton, Caleb Raymond did an unbelievable job. They found Loveland tonight. I was very impressed with the Bears' offense and defense. They got after the Eagles' ass tonight. Ocho, Joe, what did you like about what you saw from Chicago, even though their captain, Caleb Williams, was out of the ballgame tonight?
6:35Shannon Sharpe:You know, for me, the fact – Excuse me. Bless you. Excuse me. Thank y 'all, man. I appreciate y 'all, man. Damn. I'm sorry. My bad. My bad. My bad. Listen. What happened, Unc?
6:55Shannon Sharpe:That thing, that thing airborne. My bad. Listen, the fact that I was a little worried, Uncle Joe. I'm going to be honest with you. I'm going to be honest with you. I went to training camp. I was able to watch the Bears practice by, you know, about two days. and I saw how good they looked with Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams, that quarterback, and that relationship between those two and how well they worked with Ben Johnson's creativity and the mad genius that he is at calling plays and Caleb Williams with his skill set. And them together is why the Bears had such success last year. So coming to this game, I'm thinking Philly, well, Philly or Jalen Hurts, they're a team that always win.
7:33They've already won a Super Bowl. They've been the two. I'm thinking the Eagles will run away with this game. And I'm glad I'm not a gambler, man. I'm glad I'm out of game, man, because Case Keenan, who hasn't started in a very long time, he comes in and has a phenomenal game. And I think he had a phenomenal game simply because of the fact, not only do they have the personnel to succeed with that offense that Ben Johnson runs, but the supporting cast, I say it all the time, I don't care who the quarterback is, a quarterback, Joe, is only as good as the supporting cast. And Case Keenan was able to come out and look the way he did because of Lutland, because of Luther Burden in Rome tonight.
8:09But they look really good. They did surprise me. And also, the points that you spoke of, Unk, about Ben Johnson not taking early, not only did he not respect the Eagles team, but he also had a lot of faith in his defense and knowing that he could stop them. And I'm not sure what's wrong with the Eagles not being able to run the ball. We in week three now? I mean, Saquon only had what? He had 82 yards. They really haven't had success running the ball since the season started. I'm not sure why. And that's leaking over from last year, not being able to run the ball. And last year, the problem was, oh, they had offensive line issues.
8:49Shannon Sharpe:Okay, it's a new year. And they're supposed to be healthier. Not to cut you off, Ocho, they're supposed to be healthier on the offensive line than what they were last year. Remember, they moved Jergen from center to guard because Dickerson is out. Lane Johnson is back healthy. They got mile ladder. But for whatever reason, you're right. And the Chicago Bears defensive line kicked their ass. Yeah. Ain't no way around it, Joe. Ain't no way around that. That was a good old-fashioned ass whipping. Yeah. So the offensive line coach said, hey, they got us. They put foot in us tonight. Ain't nothing you can do.
9:20Shannon Sharpe:But go ahead, Joe. What do you want to say?
9:23Chad Johnson:Man, this was a great game, Uncle Ocho. But I thought about it. I said, damn, we all picked the Eagles. Yeah. Because, you know, we just felt like since Caleb wasn't playing, that the Bears didn't have a chance when knowing that, man, this team, obviously they have power offensively. But defensively, bro, they got it, Ocho. But I don't think it's – I think it's hard to game plan for a guy like Case Keenum to come in and play the way that he did. He got off to a great start early, completed, you know, a couple passes early, got into a nice rhythm. Yeah. Yeah, they went for it. They went for it on a fourth down in that first drive, you know, before they scored.
10:00Chad Johnson:I'm serious. I just felt the Bears set the tone early, bro. They came out, and they was not playing. Case Keenum, wow. What a performance, bro. Way to show up. I'm talking about when your team need it, and you get a veteran backup, a veteran presence like that. Okay, Ocho, who comes in, he's poised. He's patient back there. He's delivering, bro. He had some zip on some of them passes he was throwing.
10:23Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. You're going to remember, Ocho. He took the Minnesota Vikings to the NFC Championship game. Remember, they lost to the Eagles. Eagles. The Eagles went on and won the Super Bowl. So he's had moments parlayed that he's never, he's never, you know, he filled in, he was filling in when he took that team, the Vikings to the NFC Championship game. But for whatever reason, he hadn't been able to parlay that kind of success that he had that one season in Minnesota, anywhere else he's been. He's been a perennial backup. He's a very solid guy. If you need a guy to come in and give you three to five games, he's more than capable of doing that.
10:58Shannon Sharpe:is then when you ask him to give you more than that, when there's a level of expectation. He has no expectations. Yeah, yeah. You're a starter. You'd expect no matter what team you play for, if you're a starter, there's expectations placed on you. Now, the Bears' defensive line, ooh, they were coming. They were coming tonight, and Jalen Hurst didn't have a whole lot of time.
11:24Shannon Sharpe:He turned his light on. He got everything up. Now he got his wards up. Hey, hey, y 'all got, hey, man, listen, man. I'm so hyped, boy. I'm so hyped. Hey, my light work, Joe, you know, I could dim my light, you know, on how I want to set it to make sure. So, I look - You got some mood lights, huh? Yeah, hey, hey, oh, you see the stars in the ceiling? Hold on, hold on, huh? Let me tilt the camera out.
11:47Chad Johnson:Oh, he got it right over there now, Chad. Damn! You see the stars in the ceiling, Joe? I see it. Yeah, I thought I seen a shooting star come through that one time. Oh, yeah. They shoot. They shoot. Yeah. Damn. Yeah, they shoot. Hey, Joe. So you know what that means?
12:02Shannon Sharpe:I got to get mine right, have Haley's Comet come through mine. Hey, Joe, you should do that. You should do that. No, I'm good. Yeah, you know, hey, Joe, you know I got shooting stars. So, like me, sometimes I ain't even got to go on a date. I ain't even got to go outside to see the stars. I can sit here, turn the lights off, you know, sit there with my baby, and we look up. You look up and you see the stars, huh? Yeah, play a little. You see the heavens above. Yes, sir. It's like you're outside, Joe.
12:28Chad Johnson:Hey, imagination. Imagination can take you a long way, KD.
12:32Shannon Sharpe:Hey, hey.
12:33Chad Johnson:Technology can take you a long way.
12:34Shannon Sharpe:Oh, Joe, you weren't here, but I told Joe, I thought Jalen Hurst looked different once he took that big shot. Hey, why he ain't? See, people got mad at me because I'm saying, you got to make that decision sooner. His foot was in bounds when dude committed. He was in bounds. Not one part of his body was out of bounds, stepped foot out of bounds. Yeah. He was totally relaxed. Those are the kind of blows right there, Ocho, that will give you collapsed lungs. That gives you internal bleeding because you're relaxed and dude unloaded. Now, yes, that's a 15-yard penalty. He's probably going to get an unsportsmanlike conduct.
13:14Shannon Sharpe:But if I give you a chance, I would say, look, you're going to get a 15-yard penalty, probably going to cost you a$15 ,000 fine, but you would knock the opposing team quarterback out of the game. Every team going to take it. 100 out of 100 times. Jalen Hurst got, that's not four down. That's in the first half. And the question I asked the fans that said, oh, he was a pure to the heat, yada, yada, yada. Yeah. Was that one yard that he got extra, was it worth that shot? No, absolutely not.
13:41Chad Johnson:No. Hey, I got a question though. I got a question. Okay, Ocho, do y 'all think, because to me, I thought he was kind of trying to bait him. Yeah, he was. He just didn't think dude was going to hit him that damn hard. That's what it was. Hey. Hey, Joe, let me tell you something. Quarterbacks have to stop doing this. And the number one on that list, who taking advantage of the situation about, you know, you can't hit the quarterback and all that, even though the quarterback is a runner, once he leaves that pocket and crosses that line of scrimmage, Pat Mahomes. Yes, sir. Pat Mahomes is one. And they take advantage of, okay, we know he not going to hit me, so I'm going to pretend like I'm going out of bounds, and I'm going to sneak up the sideline and get about three, four more yards.
14:20You know?
14:21Chad Johnson:Yep. Tiptoe that sideline and get a couple. Come on. Yeah, Jalen Hurst in a sense. You know they coming. Get out of bounds. Then you know your body relax, you chilling. Come on now. That was the bait, though, Ocho. He just didn't think. I don't think he thought Buddy was going to hit him that hard. But I think he wanted the contact just so he can bait him into the penalty. You feel what I'm saying?
14:44Shannon Sharpe:I don't want that penalty that bad, Ocho, Joe. I don't want it. Because you have to understand. I don't get an opportunity because at this point in time, he no longer has the protection of the pocket. Joe, I get to unload on him. I've been waiting. Do you know how long people go to try to get a shot on a quarterback like that? Very, very long. Very long. And I had the potential. Look, I'm not trying to, but if I get a clean shot, which was a clean shot. I'm taking it. I'm taking it. I'm taking it. And the question I have to ask you, Philly fans, you ask yourself was that one yard worth your quarterback taking a shot like that no because he didn't look the same after that shot and guess what it cost you you brought andy dawg nass in and what did he do politely throw a pick in the end zone so that's what so now now you change the whole complexion of the ball game your quarterback is out and your backup comes in and take points
15:42Chad Johnson:off the board that's ocho homeboy he came in there through that damn thing i said but you know what Andy Dalton. My red rifle. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but you know what? Cap going. But you know what? Hey, I was happy. Hell, I wasn't rooting for the Eagles no damn way. They in our division. Take a L. I don't know. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Take a L. Damn that. I talked to myself. That's how you see it? Yeah, you want me to keep it 100 with you, don't you? I remember I like that you keep it in 100, but obviously a game like that, you're not even a Chicago Bears fan. You just worried about your Cowboys and the team that's in their division and wanting them to lose because of that.
16:17Chad Johnson:Yeah, you're absolutely right, Ocho. You got it. Hey, Joe, that's not the way to watch football, Joe. Yeah, well, that's how I watch it today. The Eagles possession, five plays, punt.
16:29Shannon Sharpe:Two plays, fumble. INT after 12 plays. Touchdown, eight plays. Three plays, punt. Three plays, punt. Three plays, punt. Five plays, INT. Turnover on down in six plays. Damn. That's their offense.
16:45Chad Johnson:They had a couple bright spots, but the Bears' defense was too much. Okay, Ocho. Them boys are on a different level, bro. You know, so. And the fact that you got Case Keenum back there delivering the way he was delivering, I thought both the offense and defense played well enough for, I mean, 27-7 blowout, bro. Yeah. There wasn't even no damn game.
17:06Shannon Sharpe:The Eagles have the worst three-and-out rate in the NFL last season. They ranked second to last this year. So they haven't got any better. Yeah. I mean, it seems like this offense has no imagination, Joe. Ocho. It is so mundane. It is so basic. There's no creativity. That's what they've always been. They've always been that way, even with a new offensive coordinator. One of the issues, I don't want – he's already gone, so I don't mean to bring up A.J. Brown, but some of the things that he talked about, some of the things that were frustrating to him, you know? So you see it now offensively, you know, especially with them not having the success that they should be having if they had to run a game of the year that they won the Super Bowl.
17:52You're not surprised to anybody anymore. Your offensive line is healthy. You know, your offensive line is healthy. And some of the plays that you do run, outside of what Jalen Hurst does extremely well, you know, they don't ask him to do much because what he does well within the scheme of things, it works because they win. based on what they asked him to do. Now, a lot of people complain, Uncle Joe. A lot of people complain because they don't like it because watching Jalen Hurts at times is not aesthetically pleasing. Nope. But why do you want it to be aesthetically pleasing when what he does extremely well, it results in one thing, Uncle Joe.

18:27Goddamn wins. Yeah. Goddamn wins. Again, tonight, it didn't look like it should look. You know, he went out, but you're still two and one. You got a long way to go.
18:36Shannon Sharpe:You got a long way to go. I don't know, Ocho, if you're going to get another perfect storm like they got that Super Bowl season. The defense was unbelievable. The offense, Saquon was running through people. A.J., Devontae, and Jalen Hurts was playing. I don't see that again. Unless that defense revert back, unless Saquon can start running through people again and the offensive lines start blocking like they once did, I don't see it again. Yeah, you're going to win some games, but you're not winning a championship again with this offense like this. This offense is just too lethargic. It does nothing.
19:10Shannon Sharpe:No creativity. I mean, basically you run up, you run out, speed out. I'm like, well, damn. And I'm trying to figure out, and I looked at it earlier, they down 13 points. They're at the 49-yard line. It's fourth and one. Numbnuts put the ball. Now they're backing up further. It's fourth and five. He goes for it. Tell me the sense that makes. I need somebody to make. Look, I'm not an analytics guy, But I want to know what the analytics said on fourth and one and what they said on fourth and five. Because if analytics told you to put the ball on fourth and one and go for it on fourth and five, you need to fire everybody in the analytics department.
19:47Shannon Sharpe:That's the problem that I have. Sariani spent all his damn time calling somebody a derogatory name because they unloaded on what you call them. Bro, let it go. I don't know what you want him to do. He threw a flag. man hey when you think about it is this is this kind of an onus on jaylen hurts
20:09Chad Johnson:you know because he's not a quarterback okay ocho who really extend plays like that you know what i mean who's an improviser who can make something out of nothing you know what i mean i think what we're talking about here is them being explosive offensively but hell if your quarterback ain't one of those guys i ain't saying he ain't no great quarterback because i think he is but he's just not a guy who really extends plays and improvises to where you know damn throw the ball down the
20:33Shannon Sharpe:field like a josh allen like a mahomes like that like a taylor williams i think the problem is his demeanor he need to curse somebody out man there's some bull jive this office that y 'all got me running y 'all got people think i suck no this offense suck that's what he need to do right but that's not him you know that's not him hey jalen hurts uh uncle joe he's one that's gonna always say the right things if there's gonna be a conversation that's had it's gonna be one that nobody knows about and is going to be had behind closed doors with the right people. He shows no emotion. He is what I like to call the consummate professional.
21:07I think I said it right. When I think of Jalen Hurston, the way he carries himself when it comes to playing the game of football, it reminds me of Larry Fitzgerald. It reminds me of Larry Fitzgerald because everything is done the exact same way in a business-style format, and it is what it is. Now, again, people complain about, you said it, you know, we don't like the offense that the Eagles run. We've heard it countless times and times again, and everybody's rebuttal. Well, rebuttal back to those who don't like it is Jalen Hurst, all he does is win. All he does is win with the style of offense that he do have.
21:41You know, Sirianni's not going to recall them plays like Sean McVay or Mike Shanahan or had the creativity of a Ben Johnson. You know, they just don't have that. that's just not the way their offenses run. But what they do run, it works. And they do win, even though people complain about it when they lose games like tonight.
22:03Shannon Sharpe:I think the thing is, Ocho. Quiet confidence. It's not what you see. It's what you feel. A suit tailored just for you. A perfectly timed guy's trip. Is that they need to really unleash hurts and let them throw the football.
24:46Shannon Sharpe:I mean, they get stopped, and then on second and 12, they run the ball. Second and 12, you need to get half of that back so you can have third and manageable. You run the ball, now it's third and 10. I don't get the Eagles offense. I don't get it. I don't get it. Like I said, there is no creativity. I'm looking at these guys. They got a two-by-two. One guy's going to run the sale route. Devontae Smith is going to run the 8 to 10 yard out. So what? Blue, high low. Really? Boy, that's high school. How about set it up so you can, hey, check this out. If the guy playing you man and you see that you got room in the middle, hey, I'm going to give you the option.
25:33Shannon Sharpe:I'm going to give you a two-way option. Because now they're sitting on the outright, Joe. They know they're running the high low. They know what's coming. So now, go ahead. I'm confused, Uncle Joe. With an offense like this, you have Demondi Smith. Even with the loss of A.J. Brown, you got Makai Lemon coming in. You got Dontavian Wicks. You have all these different players that have different skill sets. And I'm thinking about for Sirianni and for Minion, Manion, I hate butchering people's name. Officer coordinator, Minion or Manion? Sean Manion. Sean Mannion. You have all these different skill sets offensively and for you it's all about putting, the game of football is a chess match, Uncle Joe.
26:16That's all it is. It's just a chess match, Joe. Putting your pieces and playing them to their strengths trying to be the defensive coordinator, trying to be that defense and understanding what your players do well. You put them in a position to succeed based on their strengths. It's not that hard when you think about it in the grand scheme of things, but obviously in a game, in game, it's a little different then you have Saquon Barkley who would just I about two years you move you know us everybody's in offensive player of the year to that oh wait well he did have 2 ,000 that year didn't he yeah yeah 2 ,000 yeah yeah Joe he can run the ball like crazy inside outside you can line him up and receive he can catch out the backfield there's so many different things you can do with some of the players that you have on your team there's no reason that the offense should look the way it does as stagnant as it is and even though it's not aesthetically pleasing to everybody that's watching the game of football what they do is a beautiful thing because they do win with a small simple format that they have but you got to evolve don't you got you got you
27:20Shannon Sharpe:got to evolve you can't say well we want to super bowl with this offense you look at everybody else evolving look at kansas city kansas city won the op the first time they won the super bowl they wanted a certain way they lose tyreek hill they have to win it a whole different way now How they revamped themselves and said, you know what? We can't ask Patrick Mahomes to win every single game. We need to get a running game. So guess what they did? They go out and get K-9. You see how everybody else is involved except Philly. Oh, well, we're going to win. No, you're not. You know you're not. And the D is hard for defense to play at this level every single year because that's what you need to happen.
28:02Shannon Sharpe:Your defense need to play at this level. You're not going to get your defense to block a kick. You're not going to get them to do what they did against the Rams in the championship game. Right. They're not going to do that every single game, every single year. So while you're having off years offensively, you need your defense to be Herculean. Well, if they're not Herculean and this offense is so mundane, guess what you get? You get a nice little record. You get a 10-7. You make the playoffs, and then you go home and be like, man, everybody disappointed. Why? why would you be disappointed how do you think tell me how who gonna win a game with this offense has not has really no big play potential you commit 10 penalties and you turn the ball over three times who you beating on the road hell as a matter of fact who you beating at home when they take the ball away from you and you 10 penalties you know what I don't want to overreact I don't know Joe I'm not one that want to overreact.
29:03It's week three. The offense didn't look the way it should. But one thing about it, the Eagles are two. They two and one. They two and one right now. So I got one thing for you. Fly, Eagles, fly. That's all I know. To victory. Fly, Eagles. Hey, what's the rest of the words?
29:25Shannon Sharpe:Don't start me lying.
29:28Chad Johnson:Hey, listen.
29:29Shannon Sharpe:Guess what? Go ahead, Joe. Go ahead.
29:32Chad Johnson:I'm saying the Eagles don't had a championship run game like they had bro. The year they won. Like, I don't care what nobody say. Saquon ain't, hey man, he ain't eating up that backfield like he used to bro. And I think that's, I think that hurts. Jalen hurts because it doesn't open up the passing game, bro. You know what I mean? I, I, hey look, without a hell of a run game for what I've seen in the NFL, Ocho consider the fact that the Seahawks let K9 go and what he's delivering to Kansas City. Yeah. hey, man, that's a valuable position to me, bro. I mean, especially, you know, when you got some nice weapons, you know, on the outside and a quarterback who can really make plays.
30:10Chad Johnson:I feel like if Saquon was really running like how he was a couple years ago, I think things would be a little more satisfying.
30:20Shannon Sharpe:We keep talking about their offense. Their defense is not tenacious like it was Ochoa and Joe when they went to the Super Bowl. You know the Eagles defense is the only team in the NFL that doesn't have a single turnover created this year? With three games, you say it's only three weeks. Yeah, it's only three weeks. They got no turnovers. So guess what? You're not creating short fields for your offense. Right. Remember when they had that great defense and Vic Fangio first got there and they was creating short fields and they was creating turnovers and they was getting big plays? They don't do that now.
30:52Shannon Sharpe:Now my offense has to grind. Five yards here, three yards there, four yards here. It's hard to consistently go up and down the field where you constantly got to go 10, 12, 15 plays in order to get scores. Sometimes, Ocho, I need to go short yard. I need a 20-yard. Go 20 yards to get a touchdown instead of constantly having to go 50 to 80 yards to get touchdowns. That's who they are. Speaking of no creativity, pretty sure the Eagles have not changed their signals in years. They signal by wicks is on the same one they've used for the past four years to do when they didn't catch the ball. If I was in the booth for the Bears, I would tell them to the head coach to challenge that.
31:32Shannon Sharpe:And the Bears did that immediately. They challenged it. Damn, man. Jalen Hurston struggled times on Monday night. Entering tonight, his 14 career interceptions on Monday night are the most since 2000. The Eagles have lost three of their last four Monday night games. So now he has 15 Monday night interceptions and four of his last five losses.
31:55Chad Johnson:What are they trying to say? He ain't good under the bright lights. Oh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. Hey, I'm not even an Eagles fan. I'm not even an Eagles fan, Uncle Joe.
32:07Shannon Sharpe:Huh? I think the thing is what I look at is go back and look. Since they Saquon Barkley, has he looked as good as he looked when Saquon ran the air out of the football? Has he looked like that since they stopped Saquon? No, sir. He has not looked like that, no. Has he looked like he looked in the year they won the Super Bowl since that defense hasn't looked like they looked in that Super Bowl year? You remember how they looked in that Super Bowl year, Ocho? I do. They were nice now. They were nice. Quincy Mitchell and Cooper DeGene, and you had Carter, you had Jordan, you had Zach Braun.
32:52Shannon Sharpe:I just I think he's a good quarterback I think the thing is that in order for him to get better he's going to have to get up playing off script and they're going to have to expand the playbook this is just too simple this offense is just too simplistic to really really do anything and I don't know why either you're playing in 55 million either you trust him or you don't. Got a point. Got a point. That's what I – I don't know what to say. Either one or two things. Either you trust him because you paid him X amount of dollars or you don't. Because there ain't no in-between, Ocho. I'm paying a guy$55 million and guess what?
33:37Shannon Sharpe:I don't trust him to throw the ball down the field. I don't have enough. You got to go get some creativity on the offensive side.
33:43Chad Johnson:Yeah. Yeah.
33:47Chad Johnson:I agree. I think they're a totally different team, though.
33:52Shannon Sharpe:Case Keenum has more rushing touchdowns than Saquon Barkley. But it's only three games, Ocho. Case Keenum was 11-11 for 145 yards and two touchdowns against the Blitz on Monday night. One shot of the most such completions with 100 % accuracy. And the ESPN began tracking past rushers in 2006.
34:12Chad Johnson:That boy was spinning that thing, bro.
34:13Shannon Sharpe:He was. They did a great job of getting the ball out of his hand quick. Guys did a great job of getting open. You know, he's the third-string quarterback. Yeah. So they did a great job of putting him in a situation three steps, the ball's out of his hands. I thought the guys did a great job, Raymond and Adunze and all those guys. I thought they did a great job of getting open and getting themselves big targets. Here you go.
34:38Chad Johnson:Hey, who the second-string quarterback? You said he was third.
34:41Shannon Sharpe:The way they got the concussion that came in for Caleb Williams. Tyler Bagnett. How you speak? Damn. Yeah. Ty Bignett, Bignett.
34:49Chad Johnson:Yeah, hey, hey, Case Kennen showed out today, bro. I'm talking about no bigger stage than Monday night, bro. For you to come up and show up and show out the way he did tonight. I thought he was great. Everybody watching, Joe.
35:01Shannon Sharpe:Everybody watching. Everybody watching. Oh my God. Hey. Yeah, well, you put it out. Look here, Andy Dalton, Andy Dalton ain't been good since the Spindles had a hit. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. That's enough for him to bangles quarterback. You hear me? That's enough for him to bangles quarterback.
35:14Chad Johnson:Man, he got a point though. He got a point, Ocho. Hey, he took us to multiple playoff during this team.
35:20Shannon Sharpe:You remember that bench Bryce Young for Andy Dalton? How did that work out for him, Ocho? Huh? Yeah. You talking about Maria Rifle quarterback? You mean Cap Gunn? Huh? Hey, because he took us to multiple playoff. And 8-1-1. And when he was in Cincinnati. 8-1-1. Went to the playoffs every year and 8-1-1. And a lot of games were played at home.
35:46Chad Johnson:Hey Ocho, he got too many years in the league, bro, to come in and throw that pick like that, bro. Thank you. Hey Joe, you got to understand, sometime when you've been sitting on the bench watching from afar and they put you in that game and they expect you to hit that shot or make that free throw, sometimes you miss it, Joe, cause you ain't been in that atmosphere in a minute. Nah, that's what I do, partner. I don't know nothing about what you're talking about. That's what I do. I ain't done now. Oh, oh, oh, oh, my bad, Joe. My bad. My bad. I didn't mean to make that comparison. I can't relate.
36:16I didn't mean to make that comparison with you, Joe. My bad, twin. I can't relate. My bad, twin. Hey, that's why they call you ISO, huh?
36:23Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Hell, you don't even let, what you call them, throw the ball like that. Who that? Hell, they don't even let Hurst throw the ball like that, and you let this guy come off the bench.
36:34Chad Johnson:Hey, but the run game wasn't working for them. They tried to run a couple times, and they got stopped. Yeah, because they had nobody damn blocked.
36:43Shannon Sharpe:I guess because, you know, a lot of times you're like, hey, man, sometimes I don't be blocking. I be watching Saquon run. Well, there ain't no more watching Saquon run. Y 'all better put a hat on the hat and move some people. Yeah. It's bad. It's gotten bad. It doesn't.
37:02Shannon Sharpe:I don't know where the Eagles go. Look, I don't know, Ocho. Yeah. This offense leaves a lot to be desired, and if the defense can't give them turnovers and create short fields, it's going to be a long year for the Eagles. Hey, that's their problem. I mean, the Bears really should be undefeated. If Swift doesn't fumble that ball at the one-yard line, they go in and score. Think about it. What did they lose, 9-0? They lost 9-3. 9-3, yeah. And then they dropped. and, you know, they put what they dropped 49. They gave up 37. Come back, give up nine. Then they give up seven tonight.
37:46Shannon Sharpe:That seems that looks like a defense to me that's getting better and better and better and better. And when you can attack the quarterback like they can attack like they attack the quarterback tonight. But and I just tweet. I said, hers need to be smarter than that. The question is, was that one yard extra that he got, Ocho? Was it worth that hit you think he took Joe? Hell no. Hell no.
38:09Chad Johnson:No. That boy lays some metal on him. Did you see? You hear me? His body. Hey, Ocho, he relaxed. Yeah.
38:17Shannon Sharpe:That's why he went flying like that. He liked to knock his helmet off. Yeah, you got to go out. You got to go out, man. You got to go out. Oh, you got to keep playing fast. You know? Yes. Go ahead and put that blank on. It's not the fourth quarter. It's not a do or die situation. You in the first half and take it. I don't advise my quarterbacks to take shots like that. But sometimes emotion will get that adrenaline gets to pumping. It's the fourth quarter, Ocho. It's third down. It's fourth down. I got to get it. Sometimes you got to throw caution to the wind. Not in the first half of a ball game.
38:51Shannon Sharpe:Don't you throw no caution to the wind.
38:55Chad Johnson:Hey, man. That man felt like he was on the road, Ocho. They on the road. He's thinking, damn, I got to try to make a play. I got to find a way to get us on the board. Yeah. And that little bait that he had out there, your buddy took the bait. He laid his ass out.
39:09Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. He'll go out earlier next time. We won't have to have this conversation.

41:35Shannon Sharpe:The Vikings are trading J.J. McCarthy to the Giants for a 2027 fifth-round pick. McCarthy, who's only 23 years of age, and was the 10th overall pick in 2024. 10 starts, he's 6-4. 58 % completion. 1 ,632 passing yards. 11 passing touchdowns. 12 interceptions. for a rushing touchdown with a QBR of a little under 36. John Harbaugh told reporters today that Jameis Winston would remain the team starters even if McCarthy on the roster. Thoughts on the Vikings giving up on McCarthy? What do you mean thoughts on it? What do you thought was going to happen, Uncle Joe? I knew it. I thought they were going to trade him earlier, Ocho.
42:16Shannon Sharpe:I thought they were going to release him or trade him earlier. Yeah, we talked about that too. But obviously when the opportunity opens itself, I mean, listen, So the change of scenery might help. It might help. But how the change of scenery going to help, especially going to the Giants, when you had a scenery, a really good scenery over there in Minnesota? Uncle Joey don't get no better than having one of the best receivers, top two, you know, top one. I mean, depending on who you ask, one of the best ever play in the game, you know, on a historical run since his rookie season in Jettles. And you can't get it done with him.
42:47You got Amron Jones in the backfield. You got Jordan Addison. Huh?
42:53Shannon Sharpe:You got Hockinson. What are we talking about? He can't stay healthy, Ocho. What are you going to do in New York? It's not like that. I'm not talking about nobody in New York. I'm just saying it's not like they have the same supporting cast over there as opposed to what they have in Minnesota. It's a different ballgame. Now, if you go to Minnesota, and let's say James Winston happens to get hurt, now you got to raise your level of play exponentially. Potentially, I can't spell it, but I know how to say it. And I know in the sentence structure that I'm using it, you know, in context, I'm right. You got to raise your level of play.
43:30If you were slow with the Vikings, what did you think you're going to be with the Giants?
43:37Shannon Sharpe:I'm not surprised they traded him. I am surprised they traded him because they already got another quarterback, young quarterback on the roster that they actually believe in. I guess, Ocho, when you look at it, you talk about a guy that was 10th pick in the draft in 24. and we get him for a fifth-round pick in 26. That just goes to show you how his value has dropped. It goes to show you what other people think about him around the league. For a 10th pick in the draft, the number 10 overall pick just three years ago, and this is what he goes for today. Hey, that's the scout's fault. That's the scout's fault.
44:12That's the GM's fault. You watch Michigan all season long, Joe? You hear me? They hand the ball off every game 235 times. 235 times, occasional play action. And, of course, it's easy to hit those play action passes because they wide open because everybody's sucking up with the run with the play action fake.
44:32Chad Johnson:Yeah. So, you know, that's fool's goal. You didn't fool everybody. Hey, experience is the best teacher, fellas. J.J. McCarthy's been through a little something, something. You know, maybe he can learn from those experiences and take it to New York, bro, and be a better quarterback. Be a better player. You never know. You got to give them an opportunity. I feel like for the Giants, this is pretty safe. Okay, Ocho. What? You ain't going to have no riffraff and having to play him right away. You know what I mean? And then, guess what? When Jackson Dart do get healthy, you ain't going to have no problem pushing to the side.
45:07Chad Johnson:You know what I mean? Versus if you go out there and get another quarterback who, hell, the fans rally around, it's going to be hard to get rid of him if he come in there and play well. You feel what I'm saying?
45:15Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Well, let me ask you a question, Joe. So next year, what you're going to do? You got two young quarterbacks. You got one 23 on the roster, the other 23 on the roster. So now what? He's going to sit behind Dart. What you mean, now what?
45:28Chad Johnson:Man, he couldn't sit behind the people he – Man, Joe, don't start that, Joe. He young, Ocho, he ain't but 23?
45:35Shannon Sharpe:Jackson Dart, 23.
45:37Chad Johnson:Hey, Joe, you do – I'm saying it's different levels. Some people mature a lot faster than others. It may take him a little longer. What? You know how mature I would have been if Jettles was my goddamn receiver? You know how mature I would be? Come on, man. What you talking about? Come on, man. He just wasn't ready for the moment. He wasn't ready for the moment, Ocho. How you not ready for Jettles? Huh, Joe? Ocho. Hey, I write. I write. Z motion. Wide drag. Throw the ball to 18. On one. Break. You could be 18. You get under center. wherever jet is lined up you get him the ball that's easy i can do that it sound easy ocho the man came in he got hurt his rookie yeah he's still developing he trying to he's still working on his
46:29Shannon Sharpe:damn confidence but when he was in there he didn't look too hot though joe yeah i get that i'm saying
46:35Chad Johnson:but you give him a new scenery a change of scenery you never know bro you never know how guys turn out he's going to the giant joe yeah he's going to the giant joe my hey my young bull from lsu malik neighbors he's hurt right now you know i think you know he got a little shoulder injury he banged up he coming off acl you know you know you got you got likely you know but you you who do you have to get the ball to joe i'm talking about that like that dog he always got to have that dog hey chat stay with me real quick you know while i talk man as a quarterback you need that guy that guy I can rely on that guy I can count on huh if I'm blindfolded I use this I use this scenario this analogy all the time if I'm blind who could I count on to throw the ball to if I hike the ball and I don't have to worry about nothing and I know he's gonna make that catch for me I know he's gonna make that play for me on third down Joe huh Jody I mean you cover you're going to a worse situation Joe let's just let's just say that oh Joe I get what you saying i get what you're saying no no you don't get it because you listen listen listen listen it's only a few teams in the nfl who got that guy who you talking about here you act like every team in nfl got a guy like that everybody do almost every team i'm what i should have just said i should have broke it down he's just having a number one receiver i should have broke it down like that my bad joe my bad well they don't have a dominant number one that i can count on well hey these the cars that he's been dealt Ocho damn no no the cars he was dealt he shuffled them it's over with for that man Lee look you can't keep the wellin on the past we got to move on man it's over with that girl you that girl you dated way back when hell yeah ain't no need you talking about her no more it's over with let's keep it we moving forward I know I know we moving forward i love y 'all yeah i'm with you when you're right joe i'm with you when you're right
48:29Shannon Sharpe:i almost i almost said something too i just think the thing is joe i think the situation has if he was going somewhere else but another young quarterback on the roster and teams don't normally like the pair really because it's going to create something the same thing happened i remember when when the washington they took a rg3 and they took a kurt cousins later and what did ultimately happen damn her cousin still playing that was in 2012 damn so that 15 season for first cousin and the guy that he came in that they took with the number two pick been gone five six years now but it started because what happened RG3 got hurt first cousins comes in plays well and you see where it started.
49:25Hold on.
49:25Chad Johnson:Are you trying to tell me JJ McCarthy finna go over to the Giants and cut up?
49:30Shannon Sharpe:No, I'm saying I understand why the Giants did it because the Giants did it because they're like, yeah, Jameis is a great story, but realistically, how long is this gonna... I mean, kicking four field goals ain't gonna win us very many games, don't you? Let's be real. Kick it for a field goal, they're going to win us very many games, Joe. We're not going to play quarterbacks like a Cam Ward that you got two timeouts, you're on the eight-yard line, and you roll left and throw across your body, and you get it picked. There are not going to be very many quarterbacks that make those kind of blunders.
50:08Shannon Sharpe:We got off lucky.
50:12Shannon Sharpe:But I guess for the asking price, you know what, guys? I don't need a toaster. But if a toaster was valued at$200 and I can get it for$30, I think I'm going to get it, Joe. You know what I'm saying? Hey. Yeah, yeah. We all done been to the barbershop, and they sell it. You know, they got some stuff out there. Hey, I don't even wear perfume. Yeah. But they got a big old ball of creed, that old$500 ball of creed that I can pick up off. Joe, hey, that's a criminal gift for somebody. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. How many sell for? Hey, man, look here, man. Look here. I got this cell phone. It's only going to be good for about 60 to 90 days.
50:53Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. And then it's going to go, oh, let your boy get it.
51:00Shannon Sharpe:So, I think the Giants are looking at it like a guy that was a 10th pick in the draft in 24, and here it is, 26, and we can get it for a fifth rounder. Oh, well. Yeah.
51:12Chad Johnson:Yeah, we'll see how it pan out, man. I wish J.J. the best, bro. look.
51:18Shannon Sharpe:The thing is that he kind of knows John because he played for John's brother Jim at Michigan. If you look at Keaton Mitchell, Keaton Mitchell was there in Baltimore. Now he's with the Chargers. You look at, I think, Mentor. Mentor was with Mike McDonald, was with Michigan and then he came with DC for the Ravens. I think mentor wasn't mentor uh the dc and uh at the charges last year under under so now he's there so look there there might be some parallels i just hope he can just figure it out but it's hard to figure it out when you hurt because i promise you when you hurt the last thing you damn thinking about is the damn football game you're thinking about getting that injury injury better go ahead joe oh joe yeah no i was just agreeing with you that's all yeah
52:10Chad Johnson:And you're thinking about getting that injury better, Unc, but at the same time, I think it does help, man, when you're around coaches who really believe in you. So I think the Giants, obviously, they got to have some type of faith in them for them to go out there and trade for them. So, you know, just to still even have an opportunity, bro, considering what he's been through, hey, man, the man, he in a good situation. Hell, it's up to him at this point.
52:35Shannon Sharpe:It was up to him at last point.
52:38Chad Johnson:I know. Maybe he learned from that last point, though, Unc.
52:40Shannon Sharpe:I sure hope so.
52:41Chad Johnson:Yeah, let's see. Let's see. Get him.
52:43Shannon Sharpe:Let's get a man a chance. Man, you see Joe can't beat him. Man, Joe have a roster like 80 people. Man, you know, hey, hey, hey, he just. Hey, hold on. Joe going to hit it. Hey, he ain't matured yet. Yeah. Hold on. Hold on. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, he going to be on Joe roster. He going to be 40 years old. Hey, he ain't matured yet. Yeah, okay. Yeah. Joe got a running back 40 years old to my, you know, I just, hey, I just need him to mature. He'll get it. He just wasn't in the right spot.
53:11Chad Johnson:Fellas, it ain't nothing else out there. What the hell y 'all want the Giants to do? Who else could they hit winning guy? I mean... I think this was safe. Safe? Safe for who? Ochoa, you ain't really gonna be pressed to have to play him for real. You know what I mean? Now, if he over-deliver, then that's something you'll worry about at a later date. But hell, if he don't, hell, you ain't gonna have no problem moving.
53:37Shannon Sharpe:Oh, he gonna have to play, So at some point, so you believe Jameis Winston, so for the next 13 games, 14 games, that Jameis Winston is going to be the starting quarterback from now until the end of the season. I do not, but I think J.J.
53:51Chad Johnson:is going to get an opportunity, and it's going to be up to him to seize that opportunity. That's what I think, yeah. Okay.
53:58Shannon Sharpe:I hope you're right, Joe. I hope you're right. Chantel Ward, sister of Titans quarterback Cam Ward, wrote a message about what the family and what she and her family experienced from fans after the game. After games, people come directly into my DMs on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram with threats, hate, bullying, personal attacks, and disrespect towards me and my family. All over football. Criticize the game. Criticize the play. Be frustrated with your team. That's sports. I completely understand that. But seeking out a player's sister, parents, and other family members to personally attack them because you're upset at what happened on the football field is something completely different.
54:35Shannon Sharpe:Cam is a quarterback to y 'all. He's entertainment on Sundays. To me, that's my little brother, somebody I've loved, protected, and supported and watched work for his entire life. Look, y 'all know me. Fans do too much. They do too much. They don't know how to do it. Boo him. Tell him he sucks. He ain't any good. But I don't get why threatening the family. What does that do? Nothing. But, hey, you know what? You know how fans are, Uncle Joe. You know how fans are. Regardless of what the sport is. Hey, it could be golf. It could be tennis. You know, it could be football. It could be basketball.
55:08When an individual, a certain player, especially a quarterback, especially that is your number one pick, is not playing well, this is what fans do. This is what fans do. This is what they've always done. Fans have always had issues. Fans, family, excuse me, players, family members have always had issues sitting in the stands, being bullied online, saying some of the things. But you know what? At this point, not that I'm saying you should have to take it, but you should be used to it. Yeah. You should be used to it. Sometimes stuff isn't fair. Some things in life isn't fair. This is one of them.
55:43The fact that when you play for an organization, when you play for an entity like that, where you're the face of a franchise, which you've been drafted that early, this is what you have to deal with, especially when you're not winning.
55:54Shannon Sharpe:I understand not the threats, though, Ocho. Not the threats. Because you have to take all friends seriously. Ain't no more funny game. I didn't mean that. Because I remember a time, once upon a time, you could be in the airport and say something silly. And it was just blown off as being funny. Yeah, now you can't. You can't. Take your ass to the airport now and say you got something in your bag and you see what happens. You going to jail. You going to jail. But you know one thing you can't control, Uncle Joe? What do you think? What people say online. You can't control it. Now it's a cesspool.
56:24You can't. And there have been many situations, you know, of stuff just like this. bullying online saying what I do or you should die because based on bad performance you know many examples of it now for me especially at the family room man block the mother you know what you know
56:39Shannon Sharpe:ignore it just go to turn it over to the authorities because you can't break anybody turn it over I take all threats serious yeah you know hey it's people on here bro who who are really here just to agitate too yeah yeah you know you gotta control oh you gotta understand
56:56Chad Johnson:that good boy i don't care what you do they gonna have something to say every time boy uh-huh but yeah yeah yeah i think as a family member uncle ocho it is kind of tough to kind of balance and deal with as professionals i think we deal with it probably as best as we can meaning trying not to say too much about it try to ignore it but hell we human you hear me we human so we do hear it now we ain't got to acknowledge it but our family they only probably gonna deal with so much think about it especially in basketball hell if you out there playing like crap and the fans on you and you got your mom and your sister and your wife or something in the stands and it's a fan sitting right next to her going out you know what i mean yeah i can understand bro that's challenging that's why i
57:41Shannon Sharpe:didn't really like family member or friends to really go to opposing stadiums because pat fire move was telling the story why he don't really like cleveland like when he scored a touchdown somebody pour beer on his mom and come on yeah see oh yeah I get it and fan is short for fanatic but they take it too far yeah they would do something to somebody else they would never want somebody to do to their family member you wouldn't want nobody to put the curse your mom spit on your mom fight your mom dad oh your sister your wife you wouldn't dare take tolerate that but y 'all but y 'all sit here but this what this is what really hurts me they'll saying a fan oh i mean a player oh you got to take it but if somebody did the same thing to them or somebody did the same thing to a family member like them they wouldn't take it but the word what they use you give me 30 million dollars you could do whatever you want me no you couldn't right not as a person not no no you couldn't absolutely not it's easy for you to see the problem what you see is that you put yourself in this unrealistic position.
58:46Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
58:47Shannon Sharpe:Say for$250 ,000, because if you make$50 ,000, say for$250 ,000, you'll let somebody pour beer on your mom. You'll let somebody swear at your dad. You'll let somebody do things to your wife. You wouldn't. And so I don't even know why you say that. You're trying to, oh, oh, you got to have thicker skin. At the end of the day, I don't give a damn how much money you make, how much prestige you have. You're human. Yes. You bleed, you have feelings, you have emotions. And if somebody strike the right nerve on the wrong day, you're going to snap. You're going to snap. I don't know. And then you want to throw your hand.
59:25Shannon Sharpe:Then you want to claim victim. Yeah. Oh, you know they're going to pull that card. No, no, no. You wasn't the victim. You wasn't. Now you the victim. You've been the defendant the whole damn time. Yeah. You got to be careful too, Uncle Joe. There's really nothing you can do, especially as fans. they're antagonizing on purpose they troll on purpose purpose they try to get you out of character the best way they can now the online stuff especially with stuff online it's like come on now you know i'm i'm one that's had to deal with it you know the bullying and not really but man you know i don't give a fuck excuse my language yeah there's a little slick comment you're gonna say little slick comments oh i've i've i've always dealt with that so i enjoy it it doesn't bother me now some people you know it's new to them cam ward now in tennessee Now I was having to deal with him not having much success right now early in his career and they're having to deal with the backlash of it They haven't deal with the back thing that might be new to them, you know So it's hard for me to say well listen This is will come with a territory when I dealt with the past 25 30 years Yeah, it's a little different for me you I tell you what if somebody pouring beer on Paul Paul Paul Paul Paulie you'd have been upset Well, you got you got think about hurricane Paul like a throw hand so They gonna get to see hella hands.
1:00:37You put some beer, you put some beer on my mama. Huh? And you mess up up.
1:00:40Shannon Sharpe:But that's the thing. People would do things to other people's family members they wouldn't want done to their own. No, no, no. Hey, hey. They talk reckless. Me, look, I might be in the barbershop. You know how it is in the barbershop, Joe. Man, we cursing off a storm. But if a kid or a lady come in, ain't no more cursing for me. Absolutely. I just got too much respect for the kid because I don't want him to hear that type of language. I would hope somebody have that level of respect for my kids. And I damn sure ain't cussing in front of somebody, girl, their mom, their wife or whatever. That's just the way I operate.
1:01:14Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, I'm with you. And it's foolish and naive of me to think because I do things this way that everybody else would do things this way also. That's just the way I am. So for me, I'm never going to look. Yeah, I'm a boo and say, but I would never be disrespectful to somebody's mom. somebody's wife, somebody's girlfriend.
1:01:36Chad Johnson:Hey, those are those fans, bro. They get to the game. Okay, Ocho, they get scully drunk, and next thing you know, they doing some AA. But you can knock that soberness, you can knock that drunkenness out their ass real quick. Yeah. You don't want to do that, Joe. You got to be careful now. You got to be careful. I know. The minute a family member does something to a fan, who's responsible when it's time to sue? they're gonna try to get you hold on though Ocho hold on but you you you and rice now if a fan is up there doing something to your mother your grandma your mother like come on yeah yeah I
1:02:13Shannon Sharpe:don't give a damn they ain't got a suit big enough to get me out there damn the consequences that come with it you hear me you say damn it I joke man what damn consequences hey but jump on there like a chicken on the June book man yeah my grandma or my mama listen I don't play like that I don't bother people kids I don't bother people family I might bother you but I ain't bothering nobody's family I ain't bothering nobody kids I ain't bothering nobody's wife or girlfriend I'm not calling anybody I might be mad at somebody right I'm not calling somebody wife or girlfriend out of their name right no matter what her past is I don't care if he was in the corn industry that ain't got nothing to do with me you like I love her I'm I'm not gonna disrespect somebody, look, that's somebody's wife, that's somebody's girlfriend.
1:03:01Shannon Sharpe:Guys, quick, you know, we used to be, I don't know, they still might be petty like that. Right, right, right, right. Oh, they always talk about your petty, yeah, about your petty. Yeah, yeah, yeah, bring it up, I remember when. Okay, fine. But that's everybody, Uncle Joe. Hey, I'm glad. Hey, you taught her, but hey, I get this perfection now. Boy, boy, she laid out a mean demonstration on me. Hello, hello. Man, I'll be from the chandelier, drop down from the ceiling. Hey.
1:03:29Chad Johnson:Yeah, hello. Hello. Hey. What the hell? I ask no questions. Hey. I ask no questions. Hey, hey, hey. You on that thing with a few miles on it already. Yeah. Hey. I ask no questions.
1:03:43Shannon Sharpe:Anytime they do something, Joe, hey, they do it. I don't say where you learned that from. Right, right, right, right. Yeah, hey, hey, Uncle Joe. Now listen, sometimes ain't nothing wrong with a car with a few miles on it. Yeah. It ain't going to get you from point A to point B. Now, what you don't want is you don't want a limit. You don't want none that everybody done got there. You understand what I'm saying? I don't mind a car. I just ain't going to buy no rental. You know what I'm saying? You go to the rental car, boy, because I don't have... I'm going to Honda, slam it on brake. I'm going over everything.
1:04:20Shannon Sharpe:I'm going to return this one in. yeah yeah if you get you a nice demo hey you know somebody drive that thing less than 5 000 miles a year five two thousand miles a year now you start putting 20 30 000 miles on a car a year and you turn it back in they got a hundred thousand oh no yeah yeah yeah yeah hey hey hey i want a i want a little lining in the head in the ceiling joe damn well hold on even even if you know she got you know if the car got you know four five hundred thousand miles you know you can refurbish get your new engine what yeah they do that yeah you know huh the rest of my yeah yeah yeah joe you refurbish that thing up make it make it look brand new yeah what even if you
1:05:07Chad Johnson:didn't threw a few rods in there you didn't threw a few rods you can get them rods fixed in there too yeah i think so you know technology is that van joe hey how you feeling like it's brand new joe they could do that now. Oh no, technology done got way different, boy. You can ride in the backseat of a car with nobody driving. I just can't trust it. I can't trust it. I just can't trust it, Uncle Ochoa. I'm sorry, I can't trust it. I like it, Joe. Hey, I like it.
1:05:29Shannon Sharpe:So that's my thing. Everybody, everybody, so I've always been respectful.
1:05:42Shannon Sharpe:Hey, what's wrong with you, bro? Man, that man something wrong with him, Joe, for real, though. For real. Yeah. Hey, like I said, you know, hey, you want a few miles. A few miles ain't bad. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. A little something. Yeah, because he... Hey, don't come to me with a quarter million miles on the thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
1:06:01Chad Johnson:Hey, hey, hey. Hey, you don't want that thing with zero mileage neither now. Oh, no. Yeah, you don't know nothing. You ain't going to better get rid of it. If she ain't got zero mileage, you better get rid of it. Hey, hold on, hold on. not only get not only get you got zero mile but you don't know what you're doing either huh yeah i'm not i'm not here to teach i need you to come here already self-taught i ain't got that kind of patience i ain't got that kind of patience i know exactly what you mean come here knowing what you doing i i would hate to have to sit here with you and watch youtube tutorials oh man and you you mean it it's like it's like it's like a coach like that i want you to already be a hell of a I don't want to have to do too much damn coaching, man.
1:06:41Chad Johnson:Yeah, some things. Some things. Yeah, some things.
1:06:44Shannon Sharpe:But the basics, the fundamentals. Ocho, there might be some nuances to the shake or the bang that I can teach you. But I need you to understand, I need that outside foot back. And I need that foot here. You need to already be able to come to me knowing certain things. I'm just saying.
1:07:06Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Yeah. I'm with you.
1:07:08Chad Johnson:I'm with you, boy. Hey, I'm with you. Yeah. What?
1:07:13Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, you got to know something already. That's just me, Chad. That's just me. Yeah. Hey, check this out. Check this out for the schedule next week. Next week, we got the Jags Bengals. We got Rams Eagles. We got Pats Bills. We got Broncos Niners. We got Cowboy Texans. Somehow, we get the primetime games. We got Brown Steelers, Lions Panthers, Falcons Saints. I get it. I get it. The Falcon Saints is the 20th anniversary of Katrina. Yes. Remember when Steve Gleason blocked that punt? Everybody went crazy on that Monday night. It seemed like the dome erupted. But come on now. You mean to tell me we couldn't get Jags, Bengals, Rams, Eagles, Pats, Bills, Broncos, Niners, Cowboys?
1:07:58Shannon Sharpe:We couldn't get not one of them, just one Ocho? I didn't say we had to take all three of them, but we couldn't get one of them. Wait, who we got? Who we got? Prime time again.
1:08:06Chad Johnson:Got to be the Saints and Falcons.
1:08:08Shannon Sharpe:Brown Steelers, Lions Panthers, and Falcon Saints. Hold on. Now, this is one that I do like, Uncle Joe. Brown Steelers. A good old AFC North battle. Deshaun Watson coming off a two-game win streak. I like that. Would you rather see Jags, Bengals, or you rather see Brown Steelers? Well, you know what? Hypothetically, I would love to see my Bengals and my Jags. You feel me? But that's not happening. What about the 49ers? What about the 49ers of the Broncos? Well, y 'all going to lose that anyway. There you go. Damn. Y 'all going to lose that because y 'all on too much of a high. It's a thing called karma, right?
1:08:48What the karma? You was on that high horse last night. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Doing all that talking for a game y 'all barely won. You got a point. Barely won. You squeezed by. Look, look, look. Check him out, Ocho. Look. Why'd you go get that helmet? Why'd you go get that helmet? Why'd you go get that helmet? Oh man, come on, bro. You got to chill. Oh, so is this?
1:09:16Oh, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Hey, you got to find the good in the prime time games that they give us now. You got to find the good in it. For one, I'm excited. I'm gonna see Deshaun. We'll make it work. I want to see Deshaun play. I know we like the Bengals and the Jags. That'd be nice. the Broncos or the 49ers, that'd be nice. But it's only week four. They got to squeeze in their games at some point. At some point. So why not give it to us early in the season so on the back half or in the middle of the season we get the good ones on prime time?
1:09:48Chad Johnson:Okay. You feel me? We'll take it. But I know that AFC class is going to be nice, huh? Oui. Hey, Deshaun will be out there. Here we go.
