In short

NFL blowouts and blame—why Jayden Daniels stayed in during a lopsided Seahawks-Commanders game, plus the Bengals’ repeated defensive failures despite scoring 38+ in consecutive losses, and Bills Mafia needing to “calm down.”

Guests (hosts/participants)

“Ocho” (co-host; Bengals fan, repeatedly frustrated with Cincinnati’s defense and turnovers), “DQ” (Dan Quinn, discussed as the likely culprit for Daniels’ injury risk), and “Joe” (referenced as a former player/teammate perspective). The episode is mainly a two-person host discussion with frequent audience/chat calls.

Key claims

  1. Dan Quinn should have removed Jayden Daniels when Washington was down 38-7 with ~8 minutes left because Daniels was nicked and there was “nothing to gain” except injury risk.
  2. The hip-drop tackle wasn’t illegal; the injury is framed as bracing during a tackle.
  3. The Bengals’ defense is the recurring problem: they scored 38+ in back-to-back games and still lost, with zero takeaways in consecutive games.
  4. Bills Mafia should stop escalating; the Bills’ QB/attack is strong but fans are too heated.

Notable examples/stat lines

  • Seahawks beat Commanders 38-14; Sam Darnold 21/24, 330 yards, 4 TD, 1 INT, no sacks; JSN highlighted with multiple big plays.
  • Washington: Jayden Daniels 16/22, 153 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT; 36 rush attempts, 157 yards.
  • Bengals: first team since 1960 to score 38+ in back-to-back games and lose; also “zero takeaways” in consecutive games; Joe Flacco 470 yards, 4 TD in the loss.

9:13He was not sacked Oh man that Jackson Smith and Jigba it won't be long. Hey, it won't be long Before we're talking about, hey, if you say Chase and Jetta are 1A and 1B, he damn near 1C. Oh, yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. With the way he's performing this season, he's definitely in that conversation. Can I tell you something? I just want to throw a little tidbit out there. You notice all the players that came on down to the wide receiver workshop in July, you notice they having one hell of a season. They got damn Jensen cut up today. He ate for 129. six consecutive games with 100 yards receiving.

9:55I think he might be the next receiver to go get 300. He can get 300 the game. If this game would have been close, he'd had two in this game. If the game's close. Absolutely. The Seahawks moved to 6-2. Washington falls to 3-6. We're going to get into the ball game, but I got one question that I want to ask DQ Dan Quinn. Why in the hell was with Jayden Daniels in the game. You're down 38-7. Right. This is why you remove your starters, especially. You can't remove all of them. Right. Some of your offensive linemen and some of the guys are going to have to play. They got to stay. But you get Jayden Daniels' ass out of there.

10:33Mm-hmm. He's been nicked all year. Why was he in the game? So you actually think you're going to score 31 points. No. In eight and a half minutes? Absolutely not. That was not a hip-drop tackle. He was getting spun down and he tried to brace himself. And that's normally what happened. You see a lot of that happen when a guy, if you go back and remember the Heat Celtics game, Rondo tried to brace himself and he dislocated his elbow. That happens a lot. Just because someone gets injured, that doesn't mean the play was illegal. That was not a hip drop tackle. But I just got one question. I just need to know, why in the hell was he in the game?

11:14down 31 with eight minutes to go in the ball game. That's all I need to know. But the Seahawks look damn good. That's going to be a very tough division. The Rams look good. The Rams look good damn near every week. The 49ers look good today on the road with Matt Jones filling in again for Brock Purdy. And Seattle, with the way that defense got out there and Sam Donald is dealing right now, man, that's the Cardinals notwithstanding. but as a division, I'm like, man, they look good. That division is tough. Whoever comes out of that division, they will be battle tested and you don't want to play them in the playoffs.

11:51Watching this game, we'll talk about Washington after we talk about Seattle. What did you like about what you saw from the Seahawks? Hey, listen, the Seahawks look good. They look good. They've done everything they can and there's a reason they paid Sam Darnold the way they paid him. I didn't know. Honestly, I didn't know. I was kind of skeptical. I know what Sam Donald did when he was in Minnesota last year, but also what he had, the weapons he had with Addison, you know, goddamn Justin Jefferson. I say, well, it was easy. You put anybody back there and they would look like that. But that goddamn JSN, he surprised me this year.

12:28He surprised me this year. Sam Donald is goddamn dealing. And again, I've said it time and time again. I'm like, I'm curious. I'm thinking to myself. I'm scratching my head. I'm like, well, goddamn, what the hell is going on in Seattle? They unloaded off everybody. They let Geno Smith go. They let Tyler Lockett go. They let DK Metcalf go. A player of his caliber, a player of his talent that I see as a number one, top ten in the NFL at that. Well, okay, but then I'm confused. Well, who do they got the lead on? Who do they have the lead on? And Lord have mercy, JSN been cutting up since week one.

13:02I'm talking about cutting up since week one. If we were to talk about the top five receivers in the NFL today, Jason's name is probably the first one you mentioned. The first one you mentioned. He's playing unbelievable. Crazy work. Man, he's so quick. I mean, he's sudden. Yes. I mean, you see him catch that, he caught what we call a basic cross. Man, you see him explode out of that. I mean, he's about to get up out of there, Ocho. Yeah, absolutely. Oh, and the one Sam Darnold hit the tight. Oh, when he shook him at the line and hit. I was like, oh my goodness. Oh, yeah. He's nice with it. And the funny thing about it.

13:37I said, man. And the funny thing about JSN, he's not the fastest in the world. He's not a Tyreek fast. He's not like a Jamar Chase getting the ball in his hands and he got that breakaway speed. But he is so good. He's more quick than fast. He's more quick than fast and he's so good at the line of scrimmage and being able to manipulate the route running and give the illusion he's doing one thing as opposed to the other and he knows how to set everything up. He understands leverage. He understands coverage. And any time they got one-on-one, any time they got one-on-one, you get your silly ass up there, you play bump and run, you're going to lose every time.

14:12And he showed it. That's why Sam Darnold trusts him so much. Any time they got one-on-one, he checks up out of that. He's going straight to JSN every time. Oh, yeah. JSN is real deal. Now, they didn't run the ball as well as they would have liked tonight, but they got everything they wanted in the passing game. Sam Darnold was not under duress. They couldn't pressure him. so they got everything that they wanted. You saw Horton. His first two catches were for touchdowns. You saw JSN. He got a touchdown. Arroyo. I'm just trying to figure, guys, are y 'all going to tackle anybody? What's up? What's up with all this shoulder thumping?

14:47Man, put somebody on the damn ground. Everybody trying to get a big hit. And what ends up happening is that when you hit him, you carry him. You make him go off somebody else. Happened in your game. Yeah. Oh. Oh. All you got to do. The tight end in the middle of the field? Yes! Just tackle him. Hold on. You know what? Then this is the problem. Let me tell you why everybody's scared to hit. Let me tell you why. Because the goddamn rules. The rules have handicapped the defensive players. They scared to actually play football like we used to play. They scared to hit people. Everything. Everything is a flag.

15:22You can't hit him. You can't hit that. Oh, this is target. I mean, it's like it's wrap him up, Ocho. I feel you. I understand you, but sometimes we don't wrap up. if you hit him hard enough without wrapping up. You know what they do most of the time? Either they cough the ball up or they hit the goddamn ground. John Robinson catch a one-hand pass Drake London had about three of them today again in the Patriots game Why because there are no consequences of repercussions at all there were consequences and repercussions see that's the only way you can look oh the only way you can learn a lesson is there has to be consequences from your action absolutely absolutely because without consequences there there there are no lessons to be learned right that being said Washington three and six they got off to a shaky start six Jaden Daniels 16 to 22 153 no touchdowns one interceptions they had 36 rush attempts 157 yards but you can't you can't spot a team you can't spot a team 28 21 28 21 um yeah I don't know if you see you don't play mad no you don't play mad once you score 21 21 points the game is over the game is over even in NFL we have a good defense like the Seattle Seahawks that game was over once they went up 21 zip it was a wrap I knew at some point they were gonna take their foot off the gas because it happens all the time coaches have some kind of goddamn pack where you're not gonna run the goddamn score up hell you had 28 what it was 20 at the half right if if I'm not mistaken, right?

21:36Yeah, 27. Yeah, 20 to half, and they ended the game with 38? Yeah. Man, listen, they came off the pedal. They started running the ball a little more. And, I mean, they could have put a 50 ball on if they wanted to. Hey, Mr. McDonald could have put a 50 ball on them if they wanted to. What happens is that you get ahead and the points come so easy. Yeah. I mean, they fumble the ball in the next play, you're in the end zone. In the end zone, yeah. And then, you know, you get a pick, and the next thing you know, the guy goes 60 yards for a touchdown. So it's so easy. Right. It's like, well, damn. And then they just, and Washington really, they were shooting themselves in the foot, illegal formation or procedure.

22:16They were just doing a lot of silly, dumb stuff. And when a team is rolling like Sam Donald and the Eagles, and the Seahawks offense was rolling, the last thing that you want to do as the opposing offense is put your defense right back on the field. Ocho, I mean, they score a touchdown, they kick off, they pull it out. Your defense right back on the field. Now, mind you, your defense just gave it up. Just gave it up. And you don't want them right back out there. Right. Turn the ball over on special teams. You turn the ball over on the offense. But look, this game was a blowout from the jump. The only thing now, I just got to ask DQ, and I'm sure the reporters are asking him, Dan, why was Jaden Daniels in the game at that point in the game?

23:00The game for all intents and purposes was over. I know, look, don't give me that it's not over until the whistle blows. You saw with Tom Brady, the score was 28-3 at the half. The score was not 38-7 with eight minutes to go. Jaden Daniels should not have been in that game. There is nothing to be game. What did you try to do, get him some cheap stats? Nah, hey, Mariota, you're up. That's what should have happened. The guy, he, hold on. He missed a couple of weeks. Did he miss last? Hold on. Did he miss last week's game? Jayden. He missed last week's game. He just got back. Yeah. Hey, what do you think happened to him?

23:43It looked like he dislocated his elbow. Shit. Because he's going down and he's trying to brace himself. So all that weight and plus being slung down and you see I dislocated mine. Yeah. And it bent like this. It bent back up the other way. Ah. It's really, really painful. It's really, really painful. I do believe he'll come back. He can come back and play this week. It's normally a two to four week injury. I was four. Had to play with a brace. This is non-throwing. So he should be fine. The question is, how much pain can he endure and can he protect himself? Right. And also when you're getting tackled like that, I know when the hip tackle, I mean, players have to learn to be able to fall, learn how to fall with the pressure.

24:35You go with it. You don't fight against it. There's no need to brace in that instance. Just let your body go limp. Just let your body go and just be free. When you're in a relaxed state and you're not tensed up, you will be fine. There's somewhat of an art to it. There's somewhat of an art to it. but it's hard for me to explain. But as someone who played very recklessly, despite my small frame and small stature, I never got hurt. I understood how to fall and how to flow with tackles, understanding the size difference and goddamn physics, for that matter. And I was like Gumby. I got hit. I got thrown around.

25:15I lost every battle. You know, trying to challenge people. But I never got injured because I understood how to fall and how to protect myself. The thing is, Ocho, he didn't want to get thrown on his shoulder because you've got to realize they ain't got no shoulder strength. They don't really do nothing upper body because they want fluidity in their throwing motion. So they can't be tight up here. So you look at quarterbacks. Quarterbacks got narrow shoulders. That's why they're good at golf because they don't have tight. Most people work out their shoulders because they want some up up there. But that's not what a quarterback does.

25:48A quarterback, he want fluidity. Yeah, you're right. you can't be all can't all be all tight up here that's why I'm quarterback oh he nah nah nah I will give it give me somebody got that shape like a pair that's what I won't I don't know shape like a what if you're quarterback shape like a what a pair look at quarter look at quarterback your pictures now you see who golf when they go to celebrity golf tournament right you see who win pitchers and quarterbacks a guy like a Steph Curry basketball player they don't really be lifting all this stuff up here cause they want fluidity but most I'm shocked that they left Jaden Daniels in the game down 31 points with 8 minutes to go what do you hope the game?

26:37well you know he missed last week no no no no no no hold on bro you better get him some reps in practice because you gotta realize you can't control a game They still trying to tear his damn head off In a game In a practice you can control it They get close you blow the whistle He got a red jersey or a black jersey on Meaning he's off limits to be touched But in an actual game They still going Full speed don't y 'all And most coaches In that situation Would have removed Jaden Daniels from the game He should have been removed from the game There was nothing There was absolutely nothing Nothing to gain.

27:15Except what you got. Nothing to gain. To be gained. An injury. That's what could be gained, and that's what you got. Mm-hmm. Dang. But Seattle looked good, man. That's going to be, hey, with Seattle and the Rams, them quarterback, the way their quarterback's playing. Hey, they dealing. And you got Puka back. Now, Puka got dinged, too. He got slim on his shoulder. Yeah. You see? He left. I don't know if he came back in, but he and Devontae was dealing. Devontae had, I think, another two touchdown game today. Mm-hmm. See that's back to back. Hey, Matthew Stafford's playing as good, if not better than what he played in that Super Bowl year.

27:53Ocho, Ocho, Ocho. Hurry, hurry, hurry. Step right up. Yeah. Hey, take your time now. I know you're feeling good. I know you're feeling good. I feel Tony the Tiger. Great.

28:15Now, where were we? Now, I mean, I know y 'all gonna put that on the defense. NYX, that's KNIX leak-proof underwear, isn't just for one moment. She said she loved the culture. It was a family atmosphere. I went to visit the campus. The facilities were amazing. I knew before I left that that was the school that I was going to attend. Rasmussen University. Are you ready to be your own hero online and on campus?

32:48Learn more at rasmussen.edu. Whoa, whoa. Wait, wait, wait. You stop right here. Who are you going to put it on? Please explain to me who you're going to put it on. Did y 'all have any turnovers? Okay, yeah, how many turnovers did you have? two Overs three Okay, okay. Let me ask you a question. Okay. We had three turnovers help or hinder your ability to win this game Did they help or hinder it hindered? It's all so let's just say for the sake of argument talk to me Instead of having three turnovers you have one right score a field goal or you score a touchdown Could this have been different? Yeah, we don't want to game but you know it's the game of football Lunk.

33:30There were three turnovers. We still put ourselves in position to win the game We were in position to win the game and you know what happened? You know what happened our defense let us down again our defense let us down again Even even with those turnovers we were in position to win the game Oh the Bengals are the first team since 1960 to score 38 points in back-to-back games and lose goddamn Joe Flacco 170 years old and threw for 470 yards and we still lost the game defense again which has always been our Achilles heel over and over and over again time and time and time again year after year after year I understand that the offense is our identity it's always been our identity even back to when I was playing we have always been an offensive team an offensive unit but at some point you gotta you gotta compete you gotta play you gotta want you gotta want to all your money is tied up on offense it doesn't matter where you have to win the game hello hello i'm the message question we scored 38.

34:38how many let me ask you a question how many 20 million defensive players do you guys have one you got three thirty million dollars you got two thirty million dollars that play the same position just opposite of each other and you got a 50 million dollar quarterback so where is all your money tied up on offense i mean that oh hold on wait a minute that's our identity though i mean every every team is like that there's no team that's that's damn near even like that look at the browns where's all their money tied up on the defensive end yes cincinnati so guess what you're gonna have to do so guess where you have to win the games at offense he's going 38 this is the nfl we scored 38 two you gotta score 48.

35:25huh you scored 42 with three turnovers if you don't turn the ball over how many you score ocho shoot about a 50 ball and some change exactly 50 ball wins you the ball game. But listen, check this out, right? Listen to this. Hey, chat, y 'all stop laughing, too. I know y 'all probably laughing, too. There ain't no laughing matter, because I'm pissed off today. Hey, listen, we kicked off. We had a kickoff return for a TD. We had a blocked field goal. Onside kicker recovery. We had 500 yards of offense, two wide receivers, 100 plus yards, 15 points. We scored 15 points in less than a goddamn minute.

36:0142 total points scored. 42 total points. If you were the read off what I just said to somebody who didn't watch the Bengals game the first thing you'll say oh well god damn all that I know y 'all won 42 points and we still lost yes despite the turnovers despite the turnover but this is the game of football you want to minimize the errors as much as possible that's why we practice we practice to minimize the errors as much as possible but they happen huh they happen it's football as much as you practice you want to be as perfect as possible but shit happens and it happened today matter of fact three of them happened been that close anyway because old boy uh edmund picked that ball off y 'all got it touch that man down that should have been a touchdown to the house house call hey that's a uh hey honestly i'm numb to it i'm numb to it hey i'm so numb to it i'm numb to it like like like like you know how you go through something so much in life and and it happens to you so much often it's like you know at this point i don't even care no more like i i don't i don't even care no more like i i care i care to an extent but i mean this is back to back the jets um the jets last week and then on top of that and then on top of that the bears like come on man and listen but the bears ain't no joke because hey um hey um against the jets last week yes talk to me real quick before the season started And who are the two teams I said everybody needs to watch out for this year?

37:33Bears and the Panthers. Okay. So, again, I'm not talking trash about the Bears because I already said I knew what they were going to look like. I knew what they were probably going to do with addition to Ben Johnson as the offensive coordinator and head coach calling those plays with Caleb Williams and the talent that he has. But come on, man. Two weeks in a row, scored over 38 points and lost both games. And, oh, come on. My defense. Listen, they just had a defensive beat. They just had a players only defensive meeting this past year. They was the Bengals They would go there's talk about what costume they talk about the outfits that they were what you the game They discuss no gameplay and then shh man.

38:11Listen man. Um at some point when a talk about the Halloween party I mean what you going as yeah, hey when it comes to tackling sometimes it's just about want to it's about want to It's about want to it's about wanting to get the individual putting the hat on a pad you wearing pads for a reason Put your goddamn pants on somebody. Wrap up. If you ain't going to wrap up, make sure it's clean. Keep your eyes open. Before you make contact, everybody close your eyes. Do your best Mike Singletary job as possible. Open your eyes wide open. Make the tackle. Ensure it. Goddamn. The Bengals scored two touchdowns in the span of 49 seconds to erase a 14-point lead.

38:55But the Bears pulled their fifth win of the season when Williams delivered a 58-yard touchdown to rookie tight end Colston Loveland. With 17 seconds remaining, the Bengals are the first team in the Super Bowl era to allow 500-plus yards and 38-plus points and have zero takeaways in consecutive games. Ocho, let's take a listen to what Chase Brown had to say after this game. We just got to play complimentary football. Like, we put the ball in the end zone and go up a point at the end, finish the game. Like, just end it. Like, that's it. Like, that's what we need to do. Just end the game. Make them get us the ball back.

39:35Let us go to 22 victory, and let's end the game. That's how I feel.

39:42If he said that, because let me tell you how we are. Go ahead. As an athlete, when you're frustrated, what you say publicly is not nearly as bad as what you say behind closed doors. Oh, absolutely not. It's bad. It's not nearly as bad. Oh, no. is when you're in the shower or when you walk in the locker room, you, hey, you saw Chase walking off the field in the tunnel saying, one effing stop. But he said that I can't say too much because I don't want to do that. Yeah, don't do it. Don't do it. Don't do it. Don't do it. But look, you're talking to a guy that can speak from experience. Yes, sir. Because I was on that 2000 Ravens team.

40:16Uh-huh. We went five weeks and didn't score a touchdown. Let that sink in for a second, Chad. We went five weeks. Five. One, two, three, four, five. We didn't score a touchdown. Yeah. And it could have splintered the team. But at the time, myself, Rod, and Ray, we did everything together. And I told – I said, Ray, y 'all have been outstanding. But the thing that I love about football, they don't take units to the Super Bowl. They take teams. So now what you can do is be supportive publicly. Yes. We're going to get our things fixed. We're not going to be the Minnesota Vikings of 1998. We're not going to score 35.

41:07That's not what we are. But we can do a better job of taking care of the football. Give y 'all, we, hey, y 'all will have to make 14 or 17 stick because we're not going to be putting up no 30s. I'm just going to tell you right now. So if you looking for a 30 something, right, that is ain't happening. So get your mind to say, hey, they're going to give us a 10 point lead and we might have to make 10 stick. Yeah. But complaining and publicly stick together. Yeah. Stick together. I know it's frustrating. Hell, I'm frustrated because we're coming out the field and the fans booing, but they don't know I'm booing too.

41:46They're like, man, you hear them booing? Yeah, I hear them booing. I'm booing right along with them. Yeah. I mean, listen. Because we suck. because we did. Yeah. I mean, honestly, offensive players have to understand you got to be careful what you say, especially as an offensive player. You got to be careful what you say because, listen, it's going to come games. We still got a long, we got a long season to go. You got to be games, Ocho. Hey, we got a long season to go and you don't want to be making mistakes and you have defensive players calling out the offense as well. So it can get real petty.

42:18Doesn't it always work out like that? We got to complain about the ball. They throw it to him, what happens, Ocho? They drop it. You drop it, yep. I mean, a thing can get real petty in that locker room. They don't need the splinter. I think Chase Brown and Jamar, you got to be careful with some of the things you say. Be supportive of your defense, even though you are losing. Some of the things you really want to say, don't say it. Keep it in your head. Just be supportive as much as possible because things are going to turn around. Maybe not for the better, but they're going to be games where the defense plays well and the offense is shit.

42:48It will be you remember when I went to the Super Bowl Joe Burrow got sacked nine times at Tennessee. Yeah Defense took the ball away. Look at what they did in Kansas City took the ball away Yeah, look now the way you guys are set up you guys are set up you base It is hard to play like that. I told you this last year. I say I Joe knows That if I leave anything on my plate, they're gonna eat it. Yeah, so I I've got an auto So I got to clean the plate. Yeah, you got to. Which means every possession, he got a damn near score. Mm-hmm. He got a damn near score. Yeah. Because his defense, they don't take the ball away.

43:26They don't generate pressure. I mean, I'm looking at this game. I'm like, y 'all are just bad. I mean, they're just bad. Now, this nigga, oh, shoot, my bad. I'm tripping. this dude flacco was 31 for 47 four tds and 470 yards 470 yards at 40 something years old t higgins has seven for 121 in the td i don't i don't even i don't even know what chasing two tds i don't even know what chase numbers was earlier six for 111 six for man and brown had eight for 75. Iso had five for 66. Hudson had two for 42. Noah Phan had two, 28 on the tub. And Tinsley had one for 27. Hey, that got, hey man, that Flacco was dealing, boy.

44:19Like, it's like, I mean, for us to play the way, for us to play as well as we are offensively, despite the woes, despite the turnovers, you want to do everything you can to minimize those because you understand that our defense is not that good. We're not that good on any level, whether it be the back end, hell, the second level, hell, the front level for that matter. No disrespect to them boys, but, I mean, it just is what it is. Offense has – Go ahead. Finish it off. I want to say offense, they got – as well as they played today, you just can't turn the ball over because you can't make up for it.

44:56Knowing what you know how poor your defense is, what's the last thing that you want to do? Turn the ball over. sorry ass back out there. Because the thing about Ocho, if they're driving the field, if they're driving 75, 80 yards, what's going to happen if you give them a short field? If you can't stop it from going 75, 80, what makes you think you can stop it from going 30? Yeah. You're not. You're not. I mean, they run it. Man, they run it. They run it. Hey, it's the first time. How long? I forgot how long they said it's been. A quarterback called two passes in a game. That's what they doing to y 'all.

45:34Yeah, they throw a passage to the quarterback not one to Mm-hmm. I understand. You know that that's that Ben Johnson creativity. That's that. That's what I do for y 'all because I know y 'all can't stop nothing We do Well nothing Who would he who would even subject their quarterback? to possibly getting Uh, hello. Remember RG three try to catch a pass against the Steelers RG three later mountain. I got hit. Yeah Yeah. Yeah. That's what you do. They say, they ran a screen. Ocho, I get it. On the goal line, you lose sight. I mean, they hand it to the guy, and he toss it to DJ Moore. DJ Moore throw a touchdown.

46:14Yeah. They ran a screen with the quarterback. You understand the point of that play is to confuse the defense. You get them going one way, and you get them going another way, and whoop, the quarterback always sneaks out the back end because eyes, eye discipline, eye discipline. you put your eyes in the wrong place, all of a sudden you lose the man you're supposed to have. Most of the time, when you see reverse and they go one way and then the ball coming back the other, you lose the quarterback. You lose the quarterback and where he is. That's why he was wide open like that. That's why it's called a trick play.

46:46I think it might have worked. It might have worked on any team, especially down there at that time. Let me ask you a question. Somebody's already responsible for the quarterback. When you run the bootleg, it's the defensive end. Or if somebody has the quarterback. Oh, he got sucked in. well he didn't he didn't he didn't crash down on the goddamn uh sweep the toss that in here responsibility you see what you see you see what happened if you try look here if I do my job if something goes awry I did my job right because the last thing I want to do is do somebody else job and then all of a sudden my job go attended unattended who they gonna blame Ocho exactly yep that's not your responsibility damn do your responsibility Ocho today y 'all gave up y 'all y 'all gave up damn near 300 yards rushing and 300 yards passing hey Unc that wasn't necessary we know that part you didn't have to bring that up we know that 37 for 283 did y 'all pinch him did y 'all trip somebody I'd have tripped somebody I know I know I'm upset too stop all that running in the hall they got hard they don't even get no hall pass you didn't have a hall pass you know you have to get a pass to be in the hall y 'all they in y 'all house and then you got no hall pass they just running y 'all ain't tripping y 'all ain't pinching y 'all ain't do nothing we gonna be alright though no you're not I told you this I say by the time Joe Burrow is healthy enough to come back y 'all might as well leave him yeah you might as well leave him where he is hey you know we on the bad week huh Y 'all probably give up 40 on that one.

48:28I bet y 'all give up 40 points in the bye. Hey, that hurt, boy. Hey, watching that game today, well, that hurt. To be able to come back like that, the scored amount of points we did in a short time span, down 14, come back, oh, you know what? We got this one sealed up. And here we go. Three people. three people surrounding the rookie tight end and nobody brings him down cause everybody tried to go for the big hit get him on the ground hey the rule of thumb is don't you live to see another day yeah that's all yeah damn see another day hey but that's that's I don't even know what to say I mean Tyler uh Bajet he completed the pass DJ more completed the pass.

49:26I mean even call come back tried to throw one. I mean how many people that I mean think about that chat for just a second. They allow for people to attempt to pass in an NFL game not Pop Warner not college not not height not intramural in college in an NFL game with the NFL logo. They allow tight ends and receivers to throw a pass against the Bengals. It's embarrassing, Ocho. Listen, it's embarrassing. It is. It is. It is. There's not much I can do. I've done all I can to try to defend. You can't do nothing. I know. I've done all I can to try to defend it. I can't even defend it at this point.

50:11It's trash. It's trash. what what we're displaying what we putting out there is the players aren't playing well and it makes zach taylor look bad it makes the defense the coaches look bad because there's no way in hell well did you practice all week well did you do anything defensively offensively they showing up every goddamn week i mean cj gardner johnson get off his couch and come get a sack the man he he got he came in and just off the couch

50:41sack damn yeah it's i'm numb to it at this point man last year no hey listen last year around this time last year around this time two back-to-back losses like this i would have been on the show in tears man i can't even cry no more i'm all i'm all be hey listen I'm all cried out I can't I can't cry I can't even cry no more I can't okay Lisa Lisa and Colt Jam all cried out yeah I am I am what you know about that uh-uh what you know about hey what you know about Lisa Lisa and Colt Jam what you know about that that's my era yeah what do I do that's that that's that that's that jam now I mean Ocho the fact of the matter is and I know look defensively you had the situation but you know your defense is porous you can't turned the ball over.

51:33You still turned the ball over three times. How many points did they score on those turnovers?

51:44Let's see.

51:53They were 8-15 on third down. They were 2-2 on fourth down. They had 576 total yards. and 11 drives. Y 'all had three turnovers, two interceptions. Y 'all had a special teams touchdown.

52:15How many? Three. They only scored three points. So your defense did do something. They only held them to three points after the turnovers. Yeah. I mean, A.

52:30Oh, yeah. We don't count. That pick. So they had two turnovers. So we ain't going to even count that last interception. Okay. All right. Appreciate that. So we had two. But still, you don't want them. You can't. You can't. Ocho, in the red zone, they were 4-6. You were 2-4. 2-4, yeah. Damn.

52:56Kick and field goals in the red zone. Get your beat. Get your ass kicked. Get your beat. Scoring touchdowns in the red zone, you kick somebody else's ass. Yeah.

53:06Damn. Don't cuss. Call Gus.

53:15I feel good. I feel good. I know you do. I know you do. I know you feel good. Listen, there's not much I can do. I knew that I shouldn't. So good. So good. I got you. yeah it is what it is at this point man this is the Broncos world and it wouldn't be nothing if the Bengals didn't suck it's all good what you mean it's all good Ocho our offense is better than y 'all's Ocho whoa whoa whoa that's what we doing now what's our record our record is 72 what's your record we 3-6 now 3-6 wow it's all good it ain't looking good for y 'all I know it's not you no good it's all good we'll be ready next year yeah I told you I'm preparing for next year I told you I say to Bing, I say y 'all gonna lose to the Jets and y 'all gonna lose to the Bears.

54:27Yeah. I just wanted to tell me, hey, Chad, do y 'all know what happened to Brother Browning? You know Brother Browning? Yeah. What happened to him? He right there on the bench. Mm. Yeah, you see Flacco dealing each week, though. I don't care about that. I don't care about them old stats. Hey. Can y 'all like my hat? This is, I think, Hispanic Heritage Month for the NFL. I'll be giving this hat away.

55:00See, I signed it. 84, H-O-F, three-time Super Bowl champ. I don't nobody want that. Whoa. I guarantee you don't nobody want no Bengals merch. Yeah. If my name on it, they do. They don't want no Bengals merch. Listen, this is the thing. Hold on. Stay with me real quick. As bad as we planned, right? Yeah. As bad as we planned, defensively, however it is, whatever it may be, like that A5, that A5, any memorabilia, hats, jerseys, is still a great representation of that organization, whether they winning or whether they losing. Do you know what the number one selling thing is in Cincinnati right now?

55:44Ocho. Brown paper bags because nobody want to know that they're a bingo fan. They put bags over their head. That's the number one selling thing in Cincinnati. Wait a minute. No, no, no, no. No, no. It's not with the offense playing as well as it is. You losing. Hey, Chad, you hear? You see how he separates? You see the difference? I don't have a choice but to separate it. I ain't got no choice. So what did you do? So let me ask you a question. Y 'all scored 42 points. Y 'all was two or four in the red zone. So what happened on those other two possessions? And every time we come on here, we talk about the Bengals.

56:17I say, what's the problem that we always have? What has always been our Achilles heel? It's been our defense. If we score 50, the other team score 55. If we score 60, the other team score 70. How did you get that 50, though? So let me ask you a question. When you was in the red zone, you scored 50. If you scored two touchdowns on that, now you got 60. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. The other team gets paid, too. Every time you get to the goddamn red zone, don't you go score? Y 'all get paid, you should have scored in the red zone. Field goal, kick it field goal. And remember Chicago missed the field goal bad.

56:47Bad. You didn't hear me though Every time you get to the red zone It's that much more difficult to score once you get down there Why would it be so difficult When y 'all got a high power up there Y 'all got Chase, y 'all got Higgins Y 'all got Isle, y 'all got Noah Fahm Y 'all got Chase Brown, y 'all got Flacco Wheeling and Dealing, why would it be so difficult I'm going to tell you why, I'm going to tell you We wheel and deal in the open field When you get down in the red zone There's not that much room as though there's only so much you can do It becomes that much more difficult to score in the red zone you know that once you go inside the 20 oh it gets tough you understand that hey i don't want to hear nothing about no labor pains okay it's cool deliver me a healthy baby i'm gonna rub your head baby tell you everything's gonna be okay you're doing amazing i got a i got this i got this range rover lined up for you you got a birkin bag coming just bring me a healthy shannon that's all okay i don't want to hear nothing about what you're talking about it's all good it's all listen I'm like a chick in a relationship that checked out man I'm mentally checked out but you already do I knew that when you checked in I knew you came for no good reasons yeah I'm checked out it's still my team it's still my team it's just it's never just there's always a reason do you get in your car and just sit there or do you get in your car to go to the gym or you get in your car to go to the airport or you get in your car to go take your lady out to eat so it's never just there's always a reason so what is the reason you giving up on your team we we we playing bad on it it's hurting me it's hurting me yeah you know sometimes sometimes you got to learn to let go sometimes you got to learn to disconnect like wi-fi like bluetooth you got no don't let go don't let go no wait wait no i'm i'm saying i'm saying let let letting go to the point where the the losing it doesn't affect you personally see because it was them it's in you it listen i just want to know is the bingo is it on you or is it in you because if it's on you you can brush it off right if it's in you it hurts yeah yeah it does it hurt it hurt like shade say it hurt like brand new shoes yeah yeah you know how brand new shoes hurt yeah you couldn't wait to get somewhere you could take up take your shoes yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah most definitely most definitely most definitely yeah but listen once you become numb huh now you ain't numb no novocaine no no no no no no no no you ain't got no novocaine you ain't got no zyla cane you ain't got no Marcane you ain't got no no none of that i need you to feel this i can't i can't feel it no more huh huh i can't i can't i can't i can't i can't feel nah i pinched myself i can't even feel that I can't feel pain right now.

59:32You love your bangles. I do. I do. See, love is the only thing that's worse than death because you allowed to feel that hurt. Yeah. To feel that pain. Let me tell you something. That suffering. Let me tell you something. You think about this. You can only put a person through so much before what you do don't bother them no more. Huh? We done all been there before. I don't need to explain this in depth. We done been there before. You done did this. and got away with it you'd apologize and you keep doing it over and over and over and over and that at one point that individual well mentally they're not even there you know so i'm at that point now well goddamn i'm getting the same results every week i get hyped up i'm hyped okay one o 'clock we playing so and so and at the end of the day it's the same result i become numb i become no i can't know why hey i can't i ain't even got no tears today i ain't got no tears tonight that's how you know there's something wrong with me you got you got 25 years mmm invested mm-hmm see when you got that kind of time yeah even though you say you checked out it still hurt because you like I just spent 25 years of my life with this person mmm and it's coming to an end mmm well you know what if you know me you if I cut you right now you blue you you bleed orange I I bleed orange and black.

1:00:56Oh, excuse me. Bless me. Bless me. Yeah, excuse you.

1:01:06I don't know what he got, but I want him to keep it, chat. I ain't got none. I ain't got none. It's all good. But that being said, your bangles, oh, the bangles gonna do so much. You get on here every year and pontificate. You bloviate about how your bangles and every year disappointment you see what I'm saying? Disappointment expectations, expectations make a fool of us all I learned that real well but listen, there's something that if you know me real well, right? there's something that I'm really good at doing, you hear me? stay with me real quick if you know me I can love like no other but on the other hand when it's time to disconnect unplug that bitch so fast and be gone but that's one thing about you I'm not so show.

1:01:55I ain't so show. You love the woman like you love them bangles. I'm so, I'm not show. Nah. Nah, I could be, I'm just sitting over here. I'm miles and miles away. Hey, I never love, I never love nothing like them bangles. You hear me? I know. Hey, hold on. You got to understand what them bangles did for me. I know what they did. Hold on. From four years old, I had a dream, huh? I had a dream. As an adolescent. Go ahead, Dr. King. I wanted to be an NFL player. I wanted to make it to the top, to the pinnacle of my childhood dream. I didn't care about the money, but making the millions was pretty cool.

1:02:32That was pretty cool. Made me feel good about myself. It gave me a little power. It gave me a little control to be able to take care of those that sacrificed for me when I really couldn't do nothing for them. So that is where that love comes from. I'm numb, man. I'm numb. don't be numb yeah yeah man it's like ah damn man i gave you some medicine so you could feel all that pain i don't want you to be numb i don't want you to be desensitized well let me tell you let me tell you something how about let's let's talk about my goddamn panthers let's do that whoa you ain't never been to carolina who let alone your panthers hold on wait a minute You got the guppies?

1:03:19You got the guppies. Time out. That's what we're not going to do because I was the only one. I've been standing. I've been standing on the table. I've been pounding on the drum. I've been pounding on the drum about the Panthers before the season even started when everybody else was counting them out because they weren't that good last year. And I said, I said, wait a minute. I see how they drafted. I see what they did in the off season. I saw the vision. I understood what they could do. Okay? And, again, they proved me right yet again. I'll wait until we get to that, but go ahead. Yeah, but you also said, oh, we got T-Mofo Higgins back.

1:04:00Oh, you know what that means, huh? Super Bowl. Oh, the guppy. Oh, Tua, Cheetah, Waddle, A-Chan. Woo! We had injuries. Tyree got hurt. I just want to make sure I'm hearing you correctly. There are no other team in the NFL that's dealing with injuries. Just the guffies. No. I mean, obviously the quarterback hasn't been playing well. He's been inconsistent week to week. So let me ask you a question. Based on what you know, the last five years, dealing with the Dolphins, dealing with the Bengals, what do you know to happen? What do you know to be 100 % for certain?

1:04:46quarterback play for the guffies have been inconsistent he gets hurt yeah the quarterback play in cincinnati what happens in three of the six years that he's been in the nfl tell the people at home what's happening ocho he got he got hurt he got hurt it's all good though huh see now you now you understand why it's so easy to disconnect when you can take when you continues get hurt over and over and over and the problem is sometimes we don't know when to disconnect. That's the problem in life. Anything that continuously lets you down all the time, no matter how much you love it, you got to learn when to let go.

1:05:25It's not good for you and I've been able to do that. I'm able to compartmentalize, you know? You hear me? I mean, I'm able to God damn it!

1:05:37There was a tweet went out the locker room is showing it's cracks the ones to laugh or decline saying catch you on Monday with Jordan Battle Shamar Stewart TJ Slayton also declining with Tris Jenkins Jr. and Miles Murphy got another got another anything up there no what did I say what did I say the locker room is showing it's cracks the defense guys on the defensive side of football refused to talk or had you know sly laugh, catch on Monday. Jordan Battle, Shamar Stewart, TJ Slayton, Chris Jenkins Jr., and Miles Murphy. They didn't want to talk for a reason, obviously. I mean, I wouldn't call it that.

1:06:19They should have plenty. They didn't do issue on defense. So what you tired for? What you ain't want to talk about? Listen, I'd rather them not say anything at all. I don't see that they're showing cracks with frustrating... Yeah, yeah. I mean, what is there to say? Shoot the report you gave up see you gave up damn the six hundred yards and 50 points Hey, hey the reporters watch the game. They saw the game was there to say Man, I'm putting no camera in my face after that shit. Oh But let me ask you a question if you get if you got six sacks and six turnovers you talking yes or no? Oh Yeah, I see how this thing works.

1:06:56Okay. Yeah, no, but it's all good. It's all good front runner I know I ain't no front runner but I just understand you put that camera in some of the young bulls face right now they gonna say the wrong thing let me ask you a question if I put that camera in front of Shamar Stewart's face and he got three sacks and a forced fumble he talking yes or no oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah Jordan Battle if he gets a pick Slayton Miles Murphy if they do anything defensively they had a lot to talk about hold on who did they beat did they beat the Steelers Did y 'all beat the Steelers? Who y 'all beat? Yeah, we did.

1:07:31Steelers. I just want to know, did anybody on the defense talk when they beat the Steelers? Yes or no? Yeah, I'm sure they did. Why are they talking? That was just one game. That put you at two and three and whatever. Yeah. Now you don't want to talk. Don't worry about it. It's all good. It's all good. It's all good. Yeah. I see. I see how y 'all do it. Hey, that's messed up, man. The Bills beat the Chiefs by the score of 28-21, the fourth time this season the Chiefs have lost a one-score game. Remember last year they were winning a lot of these one-score games. When pressure, Mahomes was 3 of 16 for just 61 yards and an interception.

1:08:08Overall, he completed 15 of 34 passes. This is the first time in his nine-year career that he was held under 50 % passing. A streak of 142 games, including the playoffs, which was an NFL record to start a career. They got after him. That's why you go get a Joey Bosa. They couldn't block him. No, at all. He caused havoc. He was disruptive all night. He forced Mahomes, made him uncomfortable, get him off his spot, had him having to throw on the run, used his legs a lot, and sped up his... Juwan Johnson, I already know. He going to get illegal formation because he's going to line his ass up in the backfield.

1:08:58He's going to get a holding call. I already know that. Going into the game, Andy Reid is already counting that. Like, okay, he's going to get two. This guy is going to get two penalties. Absolutely. So now let me call plays according, knowing that he's going to get those two penalties. But they harassed him all night. They did a great job of pressuring him, making it very, very uncomfortable. Where did the score?

1:09:29but look at that what what do you like about what you saw from buffalo hell josh goddamn allen on man got josh with a goddamn 23 for 20 23 for 26 for 273 a td james cook out there cooking 27 27 carries but 114 kinkade has six for 101 obviously joey bosa we saw what he did defensively, but the goddamn Chiefs really couldn't get nothing going. Kareem Hunt had 49. Rice, I almost said Rasheed Rice. It is Rasheed Rice. Rasheed Rice. He only had 4 for 80. The Bills defense kind of kept the Chiefs in check. Mahomes was, what, 15 for 34, 250 at interception. Listen, goddamn, it's the regular season. It's a good win for Buffalo.

1:10:18It's a good win, but it's the regular season. In the regular season, Josh Allen is 5-1 against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. But that is not where it matters. It's not where it matters. What are we going to do when we get to the AFC Championship? Can you get over the hump then? And they're going to see each other again. And that's probably going to be the two teams that come out of the AFC unless for some crazy reason the Ravens have a resurgence and Lamar is a magician and just brings them back from, I mean, the Ravens what? Two and what? No, I think they were like three games. Oh yeah, three, yeah.

1:10:58They might be three and six too.

1:11:03I thought Buffalo did a great job. First of all, the Chiefs really didn't stand a chance because the Chiefs likes to stop the run. This is the first time they've given up a 100-yard rusher in, what, 20-something games, which was the longest current active streak. Now, we can't stop the run. Buffalo did a great job of doing what? Getting tranquil to cover tight ends and slot receivers. That's not what he is. He's a run stuffer. He's not a coverbacker. You see Dawson Knox. You see Kincaid. You see they're getting secure matched up on him because they motion and they know it's man coverage. If Kansas City can't stop the run, they can't win.

1:11:44Because now you're at the mercy because they're going to play action you and guys going to dunk the ball and they got two tight ends. They got two tight ends that can really make a difference in the ball game. Knox and Kincaid. Boy, it's nice, boy. Like you said, Josh Allen did a great job. He was 23. Think about it. 23 of 26. That's damn. Do you know how hard it is to have three incompletions in an NFL game? The whole game. Only three. That's crazy. what I do want is I want I don't know what's going on but I would love for the resurgence of my young bull Keon Coleman to be a little bit a little bit more can't separate Ocho huh he's a big body guy that needs to elevate it's hard I mean look at him yeah he doesn't do he doesn't win he doesn't win against press coverage yeah and the thing is if he can't use his athleticism yeah you keep saying the same thing keep saying the same thing if you go back and study him at Florida State look at what he did he's leaping over people making catches you can't beat if you can't beat man coverage in the NFL and you're not uber uber I'm talking about like elite other elite if you can't beat man coverage there are two jobs that's available for you car salesman and coaching we're gonna get him right we're gonna get him right he has too much talent not to be being used you gotta work on his quits get off man coverage can't separate we're gonna get him right we're gonna get him right I saw early on what they were doing they were getting those tight ends matched up on Tranquil getting the linebackers matched up on the linebackers Those are run-stuffing linebackers.

1:13:44And Josh Allen is a guy, I mean, they got him down three times, but he's so tough, man, because at 6 '6", 255, he's going to break and tame. It's a wrap. And even when you think you got him, he's going to do something. He's a magician with the ball. Man, I rue the days that he was supposed to be in Denver, and we took Bradley Chubb over Josh Allen. well he could have been in Denver huh yep damn that's crazy I mean I think if you can go back and do the draft there are a lot of teams that regret some of the players they've taken but my thing is Ocho we needed a quarterback why would you I get it you wanted to pair Bradley Chubb with Von Miller I'm not you need a quarterback wait hold on without him I don't give a damn Who you pair with Von Miller?

1:14:42You can pair Pat Sertan with Von Miller. Without a quarterback, you're not going nowhere. Who was the quarterback that year? Where they chose Bradley Chubb instead of going to get a quarterback? Oh, man, please. Who was it? It must have been somebody. Was it the guy from Northwestern?

1:15:09and you know what also when that when that draft happened you know gms and scouts they they didn't really think josh allen would be who josh allen is now he was a project he was listed as a project if they if they knew he would have turned out to be what he is now oh they wouldn't have hesitated man. They wouldn't hesitate. But you just didn't know. Case Keenum. We had Case Keenum. A journeyman. Case Keenum. Been with the Texans. He had been with the Vikings. He had been with like several teams. And you thought Case Keenum. You thought Case Keenum. Hold on. Remember we talked about identity, right?

1:15:54Yes. Your identity was on defense back then during the time you're speaking of. Your identity was defense. So your offense was going to carry you because there wasn't no quarterback you were going to get. It wasn't no Peyton Manning out there. No, but you got to have a quarterback. I don't care how good your defense is. You don't got no quarterback. It ain't happening. Y 'all had a great defense in Baltimore. Yes. You just need a quarterback that can't turn the ball over. Ocho, they don't allow you to play like that. That was 20 years ago. You're not winning a Super Bowl playing that style of football.

1:16:30First of all, the rules prohibited. Right. The incidental contact, the rough in the passer, the defenseless receiver, ain't none of that. Yeah, I understand. They deter that now. But I'm saying a defense that good, the Broncos defense that year, no fly zone, no fly zone Broncos. That was gone. They were gone then. There was no more DeMarcus Ware. There was no more. All those guys were gone. Okay, my bad. No. And you get an opportunity to get a quarterback? Yeah, you take him. That's a 15-year guy. You plug him in. Oh, yeah. You don't know he's a 15-year guy, though. Let me ask you a question. Let's just say for the sake of argument, even as great as Aaron Donald was, he didn't win no championship until they got Matthew Stafford.

1:17:22three-time defensive player of the year an eight nine-time first team all pro one of the greatest defensive players ever yeah it took a quarterback without him you're not doing it honestly honestly honestly no one wants to think about hiv but there are things that everyone can do to help prevent it things like prep prep stands for pre-exposure prophylaxis and it means routinely taking prescription medicine before you're exposed to hiv to help reduce your chances of getting it PrEP can be about 99 % effective when taken as prescribed.
