In short

NFL preseason recap and debates, centered on J.J. McCarthy’s ankle and “checked out” decision, plus game results (Broncos-Vikings, Saints-Cowboys, Bengals-Eagles) and Tua Tagovailoa getting booed in Miami.

Guests

Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson (former Bengals WR; 6x Pro Bowler, many-time All-Pro; Bengals receiving record holder) and “ISO Joe” Johnson (former NBA player; 7x NBA All-Star; “Mr. Clutch”). They discuss football as analysts/hosts.

Key claims

  • J.J. McCarthy sat out due to ankle discomfort and may be “checked out,” especially given injury history and losing the starting job to others (they mention Sam Darnold and Bozmer).
  • Broncos’ backup QB competition matters; they like Denver’s backup play (Ellinger/“Stenum”) and think the team needs more run balance and tighter-end production.
  • Saints’ QB situation looks promising; Bengals depth/receivers are strong and could carry the team if starters miss time.
  • Tua expected boos; hosts say fans are fickle once a player leaves and returns.

Notable examples

  • Broncos beat Vikings 34-6; McCarthy didn’t play.
  • Saints beat Cowboys 27-24; Jordan Hudson 4 catches, 97 yards, TD.
  • Bengals beat Eagles 30-13; Josh Johnson 12/19, 159; Jamal Hayes 78 yards with a big juke run.

Yeah, it's the one with the red cap and the little baby on the bottle. You've probably seen it at the grocery store. And this mayo is different. Most mayonnaise uses whole eggs. Kewpie only uses egg yolks, which gives it this rich umami flavor. It's smoother, deeper, almost buttery. Once people try it, they start putting it on everything.

6:30Shannon Sharpe:Max Bozmer was 20-35, 165, but it wasn't enough. J.J. McCarthy did not play in the preseason final because of an ankle injury. McCarthy told team officials that he did not feel comfortable enough to play. Oh, Joe, has J.J. checked out? Yeah, he checked out, Unc. He checked out. He put his ass out, too.

6:54Joe Johnson:Hey, listen, ankle injury. I mean, listen, obviously the preseason is for a lot of people trying to audition for a spot on the team. Maybe he thinks his spot is clear where he can check out the game because of, I don't know how serious his ankle injury was. But one of the issues that he does have, Uncle Joe, is he's been injured. He's been injured, you know, most of the time, you know, since he's been there. And here we go, we're in the preseason, you're injured again. And maybe he thinks his spot is safe, you know. He needs to – he's one of the few who needs to come in, you know, and be playing in a game like this to show that he still has it because he might be auditioning as well for another team.

7:39Shannon Sharpe:I believe he is. Hey, y 'all think he – y 'all think he done threw the towel in and gave up? He's already lost his starting position. Yes. Bozmer has outplayed him. Yeah. So, I mean, the third quarterback, all things being equal, I mean, they might keep him because of his youth, but I'm not trusting him. But it's really hard because it's not like Wentz has been a pitcher of health. He's been injured a lot himself. He got injured in Philly. He got injured in Indy. He's been injured damn near everywhere he's been. But I still trust him in a game that means something and you have to win more so than I trust J.J.

8:19Shannon Sharpe:McCarthy. But I think Baltimore has outplayed both of them, to be honest with you guys. So if it was me, I would have Kyler as one, Bozema as two, and then it's a toss-up for three. All things being equal, I think I would trade – I would try and trade J.J. McCarthy and try to get draft compensation in the 2027 draft.

8:40Joe Johnson:Yeah, that's probably what will happen. That's probably what will happen. Hey, Joe, especially, listen, when you're competing and you know you already lost your job, I'd do anything to be on the field and to show him I deserve that spot. obviously you were a high round pick you're one of the reasons why they got rid of brother Sam Darnold because he was sitting behind you and when you did play you were stir-fried the chances that you did get the opportunities that you did get and to me for someone to say oh my ankle I didn't see anything on the injury report I didn't see anything on the injury report this week where he was hurt it was that significant of the injury where now you can't play in the game?

9:21Joe Johnson:Come on, man.

9:24Shannon Sharpe:I don't think they're going to trade him, though. I think, you know, with his youth, Arcan Ocho, he still has some learning to do. And to play against some of these veteran backups that they have, I think Minnesota will still keep him. Even if I keep him, do I really believe he's the quarterback of my future? That's the thing, though, Joe. Normally when you keep a young player, you believe down the line at some point in time, we can develop him. He has an injury history. He was never a prolific thrower of the football because, well, I didn't see it in college. They were a running team. He threw on third down.

9:58Shannon Sharpe:He threw on first down. You know, when they stacked the box and they got nine men, they got two tight ends, two running backs, and they play action pass and he threw on that. But as far as just dropping back and what you need to be, the accuracy, and what you need to be able to flick the football now in the NFL, I just don't see that from him. I'm not saying he can't get that, but I just haven't seen it as yet. And plus, it's kind of hard to show that when you're injured all the damn time. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So it's going to be very interesting to see how this thing shapes up for him. They could have.

10:31Shannon Sharpe:I mean, think about it. They put that out there that McCarthy told them that he wasn't helping. They didn't have to say anything, Ocho. They could have easily said, you know what, he was injured tonight and left it at that. Yep. That's not what they did. When they want to protect the player. They protect them now. They protect them. Oh, they absolutely do. And y 'all see we have set to find almost 76 ,000 at a preseason game, Joe. Hey, hey, hey. That Sam, what's his name? Ellen Jolger. Yeah. Hey, man. Boy been a standout. You know, he did his thing.

11:03Joe Johnson:He was throwing some dots out there, Joe.

11:04Shannon Sharpe:Oh, I thought Stenum looked efficient, too. You know, I think for Denver, this is all about evaluating that backup quarterback spot. The question is, did Ellinger put enough pressure on Denver, Ankin Ocho, for them to carry three quarterbacks? Do y 'all think that's possible? Yeah. Yeah? Mm-hmm. Because they carried three last year. Ellinger was on the practice squad. And they elevated him once he – once – what do they call it? Went down, they had to put him on IR. Once Bo Nix went down, you know, and he went down to the visual game. So, obviously, they put him on IR for the championship, and then they elevated Ellinger just in case something happens.

11:46Shannon Sharpe:But, yeah, I thought the Broncos, I thought they ran the ball fairly well. I like Schrader. I like Malauflin. Look, the Broncos running game, they're going to have to get better at that. I think that was the thing that really hurt them last year, the inability to run the football consistently. But I think now that they got a different guy calling the plays, we're going to see how that turns out. because we know Sean likes to throw the football. Yeah. Yes, sir. But you have to have a little bit more balance than what they've shown over the last couple years. But I don't think they've had a big enough commitment to the running game to really force teams to try and stop it.

12:29Shannon Sharpe:They just get away from it very easily once they get stopped on the first down or it's not going way early in the ballgame. And so now all of a sudden they just throw, throw, throw, throw, throw, and teams catch on to that. But they got their work cut out for them. Look, they were 11-2 in one-score games. Remember the year before, Kansas City was undefeated in one-score games. The next year, they're 1-9 in one-score games. So, yeah, whatever they were last year, they could have easily been the other way around, and they could easily flip this year. But I like what I see from the Broncos. I think their defense is going to be really good again, and I think they're going to have to be.

13:07Shannon Sharpe:Because it's hard to maintain defense at a high, high level because teams break you down in the offseason, Ochoa Joe. That's what they do. They want to understand why were you so dominant. And then they go back and break down everything, first down, second down, third down, first and five, second and five, third and five, third and short, third and long, distance, red zone. So the Broncos are going to have to be even better defensively this year than what they were last year in order to get the same results that they got last year. But I like what I saw from the Broncos. I like how they came out there.

13:42Shannon Sharpe:They took care of business. I like Ellinger. I like Steady did what they were supposed to do. The backup guys, hey, I might not make this team. Because here's the thing, Joe. Everybody carried 90 guys. Come Sunday, 37 guys got to disappear. Woo! 37 out of them, 32 teams. Every team got to cut at least 37 players. Yeah. Damn. Hey, listen, check this out. So the guy like Justin, what's his name? Jolly? That's his name? Which one? He the reason he caught the 88 yard. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're too afraid of me. Hey, look, tell me something, Ocho. Guys who make plays like this, you know, when it comes down to coaches, you know, making them final roster decisions, can that change?

14:22Shannon Sharpe:Can that change the way a coach see you, you know, making big plays like that?

14:25Joe Johnson:Yeah, I mean, they can. Hey, Uncle Joe, when you make plays like that in a pivotal game, where obviously you're auditioning, you know, for a job on the team, showing coaches, listen, that I can make plays in important moments in games like this. I mean, it does, but also you got to understand it comes down to number crunching. You know, it comes down to politics. It also comes down to can you play special teams? Based on what you already have at the receiver position, I mean, what are you going to be? Are you going to be a four? Are you going to be a five? You know, it depends what they already have in place, especially for a player that's playing tonight throughout the entire of a preseason game.

15:00Joe Johnson:I mean, I think they do take into account, but there's some other factors that come into play in how much of a value and ask that can you be outside of just that one position.

15:11Shannon Sharpe:I don't think the Broncos have held raises the tight end anyway. So, hell, he might make the squad anyway. You're talking about number crunching, don't you, Joe? When you think about it, when you look at the Broncos' tight end, I think they're underserved at that position. Evan Ingram had a really good year a couple years ago at Jacksonville, but I need more from him. They need to get more out of that position. The tight end's got to give them more. And, hey, he might be a missing piece, but when I look at the Broncos' tight end, I'm not in them like, oh, wow, they really loaded that position.

15:42Shannon Sharpe:I don't see it. Yeah, you think they underutilize him? Ingram? Yeah. He's more of a flyer. He's more of a receiving tight end. That's one of the things. I mean, like, and even the tight ends, like I said, they slow. I mean, Ingram can run, but the other guys are just guys.

15:58Joe Johnson:Yeah, right.

15:59Shannon Sharpe:They're just guys.

16:00Joe Johnson:Yeah.

16:02Shannon Sharpe:I know I'm harsh on the Broncos, But if I don't know a whole lot about football, I know about that position. And I know the Broncos, hopefully they got better at that position because last year they were very underserved at that position. But, look, I like how he kept himself alive. I like Schrader, how he made himself available, caught the ball with his hands. Those are the hardest catches to make, Joe, with your wide ass open. Mm-hmm. Yeah, hey, absolutely. I mean, how do you have a busted coverage like that to where a dude just standing midfield by his damn self? Well, on both plays, I was trying to look and see because all I saw was the guy roll out, and the next thing I know he heaved the ball up and ate his wide open.

16:43Shannon Sharpe:But if you look at Schrader, when Schrader was wide open, he came out of the backfield and split it. And they just split it. They just totally lost him. Yeah. Totally lost him. He's like, well, I thank you very much. And the guy that was chasing Jolly and the Enzo, he's like, man, y 'all got me on tape. The people are going to think that's me. That's my fault. All they know, the man that chasing him in the end zone, they figure he reruns chasing that truck. You the one that missed the assignment. You the one that blew the coverage. It may or may not have been him, but I thought the Broncos did what they needed to do, end up on a good note.

17:20Shannon Sharpe:Now you don't have a game until the 12th of September. So you got basically two weeks to get ready for a ball game. Probably give them three days off. They'll probably have off Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Come in Tuesday to do a little something. Run, get the leg. Start building up your offense because you play Kansas City opening night. Start getting ready for that. Then you got Labor Day weekend. You'll probably get a couple of days off of Labor Day weekend. But when we come back on Wednesday, let's be prepared and get ready to play some football. Hey, hold on. Mahomes going to be ready to debut?

17:56Shannon Sharpe:Absolutely, Joe. Yep. Out for ACL, man?

18:00Joe Johnson:Absolutely, Joe.

Read the full transcript

18:01Shannon Sharpe:ACL, PCL, I think.

18:03Joe Johnson:Hey, not only is he ready to debut, hey, Joe, man, he finna be surgical with that ball, too. What? Man, I'm telling you, watch what I tell you.

18:13Shannon Sharpe:We coming to get him, Joe. We coming to get him. Hey, hey, hey. That's what I'm saying. Hey, look, Mahomes, I know he can pocket pass, but he like to use them legs and get outside of that pocket too now, Joe. We gon' see if he trust them legs.

18:27Joe Johnson:That's what I'm saying, okay. Yeah, only when he got to. too. Hey, listen, the enemy over there calling the plays, they're going to call plays that are safe. Call plays where things worked in practice and that he's sure. Okay, we know we got them boys coming out the edge. Let's get the ball out of his hand. Let's go quick game. Get that young bull in the rhythm now. Don't put him in harm's way. Can you put him in harm's way? You know what he's going to do now. He's going to try to make a play.

18:54Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. They're going to keep him safe. It's our job to put him in harm's way. It's their job to protect him. It's our job to put his ass in harm's way. Yes, sir.

19:03Joe Johnson:So, hold on, hold on. You think y 'all got a chance to win, or? We going to win. Ooh, hey, I like the confidence. And you know what? When you said that with no hesitation, too. Yeah. No hesitation.

19:17Shannon Sharpe:You got to think about it, Ocho. You got to think. When they was at their apex, the Broncos was giving them hell. They were going to beat us by three, kick in the lake, second field goal. We missed a field goal. They win because we missed. They made.

19:28Joe Johnson:Yeah.

19:29Shannon Sharpe:And they're not that same team. They're not that same powerhouse juggernaut that they once were. They're a good team. Don't get me wrong. Now, anytime you got that guy, you got a guy like that in your backfield, you got a chance to be great. You got a chance.

19:45Joe Johnson:Yeah.

19:47Shannon Sharpe:And everybody don't have a guy like that. No. So they're going to be – they're familiar. And it's a division opponent. We played them twice a year, sometimes three times a year, going back to the 60s. Mm-hmm. So it is what it is. There ain't no love lost between us. We try to, hey, they try to injure us. We try to send them to the hospital. We out of the playoffs. We try to make sure they come out with us. Ain't no love lost between us and the Raiders. The Chargers, the Chargers are what they are. But the Raiders in Kansas City? Yes, sir. Nah, we don't fool. Quiet confidence. It's not what you see.

21:02That's the reaction a lot of people are having when they first try Kewpie mayo. It's the one with the red cap and the little baby on the bottle. You've probably seen it in the grocery store before. And if you've ever just walked past it, some people would say that's a huge mistake. Because this mayo is different. Most mayonnaise uses whole eggs. Kewpie only uses egg yolks, which gives it this rich umami flavor. It's smoother, deeper, and almost buttery. Once people try it, they start putting it on everything. Egg sandwiches, fries, burgers. Some fans even swear by dipping pizza crust in it. And once you notice it, you start seeing it everywhere.

21:37Chefs use it. Restaurants use it. People who really care about flavor use it. Never tried it? Grab the bottle with the red cap next time you're at the store. Put it on just about anything. 23:52Shannon Sharpe:The Saints defeated the Cowboys 27-24. Spencer Rattler, 8 of 10, 79 yards, one rushing touchdown. Saints wide receiver Jordan Hudson, four catches, 97 yards and a touchdown. Was that the Saints wide receiver or that was the Cowboys wide receiver? But anyway, Sam Howell played well, 12 of 18, 155. Two TDs just in case. you know hey you gotta have a solid backup Joe just in case you never know you never know if Dak has an injury history I know we don't like to talk about that but he has been nicked up over the last couple years yeah that was Dallas's Jordan Hudson alright Ash you must be sleepy too Jordan Hudson had four and he had a hell of a what did that catch over the middle for 52

24:42Joe Johnson:yeah it was nice and a nice one in the right side of the end zone. He was bold in that.

24:50Shannon Sharpe:Both quarterbacks for the Cowboys, I thought, played. I thought both quarterbacks for both teams, I thought, played well. Zach Wilson was 9 of 12, 93 yards. Spencer Rattler, 8 of 10, 79 yards. Sam Howell, 12 of 18, 155. Joe Milton, 8 of 15, 92. So I thought both quarterbacks on both teams played well, did what they were supposed to do. Very close ball game, interesting ball game. The Cowboys, these young guys, you know, Camden Brown had won for 27. He played really well. Remember last week, he was the star of the show. This week, it was Jordan Hudson. So what you're seeing and what I like to see is that I see guys each week, somebody else steps up and says, give me an opportunity.

25:31Shannon Sharpe:And when the opportunity presents itself, Ocho and Joe, they take advantage of it. Yeah. I like Sam Howard, but hey, he came out, he did his thing on the Ocho. I mean, hell of an offensive efficiency pass and two touchdowns. And, you know, he the one ignited that comeback they had because, yeah, we were down 24-9. I know it's preseason and we third, fourth string guys, but at the same time, Ocho, we got guys out there battling trying to make the damn team. They're like, look, man, I can't help who out here who I'm competing against. I can only take advantage of the opportunity that's given to me.

26:08Shannon Sharpe:Hey, man, I got to produce. So, Am Howell looked good tonight, boy. No, they looked good. They looked good. I mean, I thought both quarterbacks handled the situation very well. You know, Spencer Rattler's like, you know what, damn. I thought I was playing well, but Tyler Shook, he came in the game. We missed on him, Mojo. We laughed at the name when the man was drafted. That was a great opportunity. But, hey, Shook, he ain't shooken. He ain't jibing.

26:38Joe Johnson:When he came in and took over the back half of the season, man, listen. The Saints look good. I think they got them one. The Saints have them one. One that they can confide in who will be the next quarterback to take over since Drew Brees' absence. I think they definitely got them one.

26:57Shannon Sharpe:I think so, too. I think so, too. And they got a quarterback. I got a head coach that can call plays. Dallas, when he was in Dallas, their offense was unbelievable. Now, if they can get some consistency on the defensive side of the football, I think, obviously, they'll be just fine. Yeah. The Bengals defeated the Eagles 30-13. Ocho's Bengals had a perfect preseason. 40-year-old Josh Johnson still making plays. He was 12 of 19, 159 yards. Bengals' running game looked really good. Kentrell Bullock, 14 carries, 85 yards on the touchdown. And Jamal Hayes had Philly looking silly on seven carries for 78 yards.

27:35He had one, that one run, man. He was, I was like, bro.

27:40Shannon Sharpe:Woo. Yeah, it was a 24 in the old Pac-Man jersey. Man, he done juked about 55, 55. He juked like several people several times. Like, bro, just lay on the ground. Because he done shook you twice. Just go ahead and lay there.

27:55Joe Johnson:Yeah.

27:55Shannon Sharpe:What you like about what you saw from your team, Mocho?

27:58Joe Johnson:But it looked good. I mean, listen, JJ looked good back there playing quarterback. Obviously, he's been around. He's been around for a very long time. I think this might be his 14th team, Joe, something like that. He's been a journeyman, but he's been a good journeyman. Obviously not enough to start, but he's someone that if your starting quarterback gets hurt or your secondary quarterback gets hurt, he's someone that can come in and steer the ship. And he showed that tonight. I think he should make the team. There's no reason why he shouldn't, especially with the way he looked tonight. Those receivers, man, Joe, that receiver, man.

28:30Joe Johnson:Dante Myers, he has a very, very interesting story, very interesting story. He played in Saskatchewan, if I'm not mistaken. Got his opportunity to come, you know, to get opportunity with the Bengals. He drove from somewhere. I don't know it completely, so don't quote me. But his story is interesting. And to be able to have an opportunity to make this Bengals team and make this Bengals roster, he showed out, man, not only in training camp, but every game they've had, every game they had. I think we might have collectively as a whole, not just the starters, not just our two ones. I mean, collectively as a whole, we might have the best receiving group in its totality in the NFL with the way those young receivers are playing.

29:14Shannon Sharpe:Joe, what you thinking? Man, the Bengals, they showed some decent depth, Uncle Ocho. You know, I thought that young players came out, generated big plays. You talk about the Cantrell Bullock kid and Jamal Haynes. You know, I think those guys are both, you know, worth mentioning and talking about. They made big plays today. I think when you look at the Eagles, you know, the backup competition, major storyline, you look at Andy Dalton. What's the other kid? McKee. Tanner McKee. And the Peyton kid, those guys getting opportunities to really show what they can do to get that, you know, that second QB slot behind Jalen Hurts.

29:56Shannon Sharpe:I mean, it's the last preseason game, bro. These guys are trying to make the team at this point. That's it. Billy Damian Pierce. If I'm not mistaken, that was the guy. He used to be at the Houston Texans. So he's a solid running back. Very different. More power than Saquon. Saquon is more of a loser. He can drop his shoulder on you. But he's more of a power back than Saquon is. Tanama Keith, the question is, I don't even know how to do it now, Ocho. Because now they'll put veteran guys on the damn practice squad. Yeah. Whereas before, it was just the young guys on shows. Now they got 30-year-old guys on the damn practice squad.

30:35Shannon Sharpe:So I don't know. I know they really like Tanner McKee. I do know that. Andy Dalton has been around for an extended period of time. Yes. To make plays, we know what Andy Dalton brings to the table. Probably good. Can win you a game or two. But the longer it goes, the more they're able to figure him out. All things being equal. I think if I had to choose, I think I would take Tanner McKee as my backup. and roll the dice with him as opposed to taking a chance of releasing him. They might just keep three quarterbacks. That's a possibility also. Yeah.

31:11Joe Johnson:Yeah, I mean, they might, depending on how secure they are at other positions. Yeah.

31:21Shannon Sharpe:Well, defensively, if they're strong suit, in your strong suit, you always want to have depth. Yeah. I understand that you got Devontae. He's on a big contract. Saquon's on a big contract. Jalen's on a big contract. You got those offensive linemen. But your strong suit is the defense. Yeah. You pay both your D tackles. You got your two DBs that's going to be up for contract. Yeah. Dejon, Dejon, Cooper, Dejon. Dejon. Dejon. But no, I thought the Bengals looked good. I thought the Bengals did what they were supposed to do, Ojo. They came out, look, they played the guys in the first. You did see some, because the last couple of preseasons, the Bengals didn't play any of their guys, any of their meaningful guys they didn't play.

32:18Shannon Sharpe:They did give them some rest. They didn't play them as much as some of the other teams did. But it's a start. It helps. The Eagles, 0-3. I mean, obviously you want to win. Anytime you go out there, you try and win the ball game. But how much stock do we put in there? You know, hell, the Ravens went like five, six years without losing a damn preseason game. So I don't know how much.

32:54Shannon Sharpe:So, uh.

32:57Joe Johnson:I'm putting stock in it.

32:59Shannon Sharpe:Oh, you're putting stock in the green, though?

33:00Joe Johnson:Yeah, I'm putting stock in it. Maybe, but I've seen, hey, listen. I've seen the Detroit Lions go 4-0 in the preseason, huh?

33:10Shannon Sharpe:And go 0-16?

33:11Joe Johnson:And go 0-16 that season, bro.

33:13Shannon Sharpe:I got that team photo. Damn. Yeah. Every time I'm in Atlanta, I'm going to show y 'all the team photo I got. Yeah. Hey, Ocho, how you putting stock in this? ain't none of the starters played. I mean, you just want to win. Win's a win.

33:28Joe Johnson:You know what I like? I like the fact that that's all coaching, Joe. That's all coaching. And them boys, them young boys, they really getting to it. They getting after it. So I know if anything, God willing, let me knock on wood, I don't want nothing to happen to any of my starters offensively. But I know one thing. When they come in and they have to make plays, we got receivers that can make plays. We got to beat the second place, huh? Where y 'all open up at? Tampa Bay coming to us in Cincinnati and then we in Houston week two. Woo hoo hoo. Woo hoo hoo. Who what? Y 'all start one and one. Who?

34:10Joe Johnson:You won't bet nothing.

34:13Shannon Sharpe:Y 'all ain't beat the Texas.

34:14Joe Johnson:Listen, not that offense, man. Y 'all ain't beat Texas.

34:17Shannon Sharpe:Who, what? Y 'all ain't beat the Texas. Oh, this y 'all's, hold on. That's our schedule, ain't it? Oh, preseason. Oh, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. Y 'all ain't beating the Texas. They ain't beating the Texas, Joe. You ain't got nothing to worry about. It's say they ain't in Cleveland. Huh? Oh, this 2025 schedule. Who put that up there?

34:38Joe Johnson:That's the wrong schedule. That's the wrong schedule, huh? Yeah, we Tampa, Tampa come to Cincinnati. And I know, you know, week two, we down there. Hey, hey, all I'm gonna do, I'm gonna tip my hat, boy. Howdy, cause the bangles coming to town.

34:52Shannon Sharpe:We talking about game one, are you talking about game two in Houston?

34:54Joe Johnson:Oh yeah.

34:56Shannon Sharpe:I don't know if I feel comfortable going and watching my team lose Joe.

35:01Joe Johnson:Oh, you going to the game Joe? Oh yeah, I'll be there. I'll be there. Matter of fact, that week too Joe, it's a Cincinnati invasion. You know, I'm hosting that chat. Why y 'all don't travel like that?

35:12Shannon Sharpe:Talk about some damn invasion.

35:14Joe Johnson:Oh no, hey, hey, hey.

35:15Shannon Sharpe:Like y 'all damn locusts or something.

35:16Joe Johnson:Hey, hey, hey, hey. We are, we cicadas. huh we cicadas huh but we finna travel well it ain't 17 years y 'all ain't any time y 'all to bring y 'all i i i tell you i tell you what i tell you what all the cincinnati would be in houston week two we taking over i got a host at chapman and kirby just make just make sure y 'all be there

35:39Shannon Sharpe:huh look at joe joe look at joe you look at joe screaming like yeah joe thinking about it i can I see the wheels spinning his head like damn.

35:46Joe Johnson:Hey listen, I ain't get this hat for nothing now. Shoot, man. You got the belt to go with it? Hold on, Joe, hold on. It's right here behind me too, hold on. Uh-oh, uh-oh. That Joe, boy, the wheels don't spin it in Joe's head,

35:59Shannon Sharpe:Joe like damn. Oh, oh, chill, chill, chill. Joe, Joe, you don't see them Caymans? Yeah, brother, that's that Gator.

36:08Joe Johnson:Yeah, them Cayman, Joe. Well, look at the belt, Joe.

36:13Shannon Sharpe:Joe, man, Joe, I ain't playing, boy. Man, I thought you gonna get a big-ass belt buckle, like a hubcap.

36:19Joe Johnson:Hey, hey, I don't need to track that kind of attention. I already look good now. I don't need the belt buckle, you know? Hey, hold on, Joe. That ain't it. Hold on, Joe. Hold on. What else you got? Oh, he ready for the H-Town, ain't it, man? Damn. Joe, you see them ostrich, boy?

36:38Shannon Sharpe:When you wearing them? That's when you wearing it to the biggest game?

36:40Joe Johnson:I'm wearing the black on the Bengals game for the show and at PV, I'm having these on, I have on the ostrich.

36:48Shannon Sharpe:Oh, okay.

36:49Joe Johnson:You see the belt? See the ostrich around that thing?

36:51Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, yeah, I had some ostrich too, yeah. Oh, Kanye.

36:55Joe Johnson:Hey, you gotta wear yours, huh?

36:57Shannon Sharpe:Mm-mm. No? They're in Atlanta.

37:00Joe Johnson:Okay, okay, I got my hat too, I got my tan hat now.

37:04Shannon Sharpe:Now when we go to the rodeo, when the rodeo out here, I have them on.

37:12Shannon Sharpe:Yeah.

37:13Joe Johnson:Hey, I'm gonna ride, right? I don't know about all that. Whoa, whoa, whoa. I mean, nah, nah, nah, I'm talking about ride a bull, Joe. Oh, okay. Yeah, hey, Joe, boy, I'm living dangerous, boy. I'm living on the edge, boy. I'm trying to do everything.

37:26Shannon Sharpe:Hey, they say, hey, hey, hey, you know they say if you ain't living life on the edge, you taking up too much damn space.

37:31Joe Johnson:See, come on now. It ain't gotta be Sunday to preach, I like that one.

37:34Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, yeah, but I can't live on that edge, though. I'm sorry, I ain't gonna be able to do that. That boy, that ready, boy, he ready for age time, boy. Yeah, you know I ain't. You want me to sign your permission slip? Uh-oh, uh-oh. Uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh. You gotta chill, you gotta chill. Boy, we started, that joke, we started talking, you started talking about Kirby and Chapman, Joe started smiling like, damn. I'm like, well, damn. At least make it a secret. My mama probably upstairs looking to me. Yeah, he thinks he's sick. Yeah, Joe. You ain't going nowhere. Hey, lock me in. Lock me in, twin. Oh, you going?

38:20Yeah.

38:21Shannon Sharpe:I'm not going. No, no, no. Big N, big O, no. It's a little time. You got a little time to think about it. Don't answer right away.

38:34Joe Johnson:don't answer right away don't answer right away I thought y 'all were coming that's too close back to back

38:42Shannon Sharpe:yeah that's too close if it was about two months apart I might could have swung back

38:49Joe Johnson:so y 'all gonna leave me there by myself

38:52Shannon Sharpe:Joe say he coming

38:54Joe Johnson:man I can't take Joe word when he talking about showing up hey I tell you what

39:03Shannon Sharpe:I tell you what, let's take it one trip at a time. Next week when we get there, we talk about it. We make sure we get everything. Joe, see? Hey, it's cool. I'm fair. I'm saying when we get there next week, let some time go by. Let's talk about it when we get there. And you know, we'll talk about it. We'll talk about it over a meal while we chewing the fat. We'll talk about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

39:27Joe Johnson:Hey, it's all good, Joe. Listen, all my partners, man, that's been with me, man, since 2001, you know, from Cincinnati. I got my little main crew, Unk and Joe. You know, my same little five, man. I know them boys probably watching, man. Rico, Maine, Locke, little Ryan. You know, Unk, we got another Unk too, Unk. Another Unk that's been around our way. So all them boys will be out there. So, Joe, if you don't make it, I'm going to be in good hands with my partner that's been around, you know, like Buckingham Burns, Unk.

39:55Shannon Sharpe:Yeah.

39:56Joe Johnson:Yeah, yeah. Yeah, they like that. So we'll be out there, man. All of Cincinnati going to be there. So, you know, we're going to take over Houston, man. We're going to take over Houston.

40:02Shannon Sharpe:He said, he said, he said all of Cincinnati gonna be there.

40:05Joe Johnson:Hey, hey, Joe, hey, you laughing, Joe. But I'm serious. He got five of his homeboys covered like they gonna take over. No, I'm telling you, the whole city is coming out for the game. All of Cincinnati coming out for the game. You know how many people. Hey, but we travel well, man.

40:21Shannon Sharpe:What you talking about?

40:22Joe Johnson:Hey. How you gonna tell us how we travel?

40:25Shannon Sharpe:Because I know, because I've been in stadiums that y 'all came to travel.

40:29Joe Johnson:When the last time you been to a bangle game?

40:31Shannon Sharpe:Huh?

40:32Joe Johnson:All our games sell out. So when the last time you've been to a regular game?

40:35Shannon Sharpe:A home game and a road game is something different. Anytime you send tickets back, that means your team don't travel.

40:42Joe Johnson:I don't remember that. I do. I don't remember that. That must've been a while ago.

40:49Shannon Sharpe:I tell you who do travel. Hey, Ocho, what? You fit, who travel, them Broncos or the flock? The flock, them Raven.

41:01I'm leaving. Hey, don't worry about it.

41:05Shannon Sharpe:Yo, let me try to get a thank you about welcome to the jungle. I'm like, come on, man.

41:11Joe Johnson:Hey, we travel like Philly and the Steelers. That's our comparison. That's our - No, it's not.

41:16Shannon Sharpe:No, sir. Cincinnati, I'm telling you, man. I'm telling you. Boy, them damn Steelers. Them Steelers travel, boy. Steelers, Cowboys, Packers.

41:28Joe Johnson:Yeah, A to A. I mean, I think, listen, I ain't never seen nobody travel like the Steelers. The Steelers, the Steelers, no, the Eagles would take over somebody's stadium. Yeah. They'd take over somebody's stadium, man. I ain't never seen nothing like that. I've seen them. I forgot. I've seen them take over. I was one year. I forgot what year it was. I swear for God. It confused me. The tweet might still be up. I was going, I was in the airport. I know the Dolphins were playing the Eagles, but I had to fly out. If I'm not mistaken, I had to go do NFL films. and dude I've never seen so many Eagles fans at the same time I don't know if they they coordinated the planes all land at the same time but man they flooded Miami Airport what I mean I'm walking in and they coming out I'm like what in the world it was yeah they they

42:13Shannon Sharpe:travel heavy man as a matter of fact last year was I think it was last year when I was playing I was leaving when the Cowboys played the Raiders here.

42:26Joe Johnson:Yes.

42:27Shannon Sharpe:Man, it was so many Cowboys jerseys in that damn airport. I was like, oh, my goodness. You thought it was a home game. Yeah. They don't play. They don't play. 46:12Shannon Sharpe:Falcons defeated the Dolphins 17-12. Tua faced his old team today with 7 of 8, 95 yards, zero touchdowns, and a fumble. When Tua ran onto the field, he got a loud amount of booze. Damn. After the game, he was asking if he heard the booze from the hard rock crowd. Of course I did. I had six years here, and those are some of the best six years of my life. Regardless of the reaction, I love the city. Ocho? Yes, sir. Did you think Tua would get a little better reception than what he got?

46:42Joe Johnson:No, absolutely not. Once you don't play for the home team anymore, you know how fans are. They're very fickle. Now, when you're playing for them, if you're not playing well, they'll boo you. So you already know what you're going to get once you're gone and you're on the opposing team and you happen to come back to the city where you played and didn't play well towards the end of that stint. Oh, they're going to boo you, huh? And he knows that because he got booed when he was actually here and playing When they weren't playing well, so I've listened to it to and those how to say all the right things He knows how to say the right things knows how to give off that PC answer, but how he really feels he would never share But it doesn't bother him.

47:18Joe Johnson:He doesn't it doesn't bother him at all

47:20Shannon Sharpe:It would it bothered him You think so?

47:25Joe Johnson:Yeah, yeah You stupid you were bad.

47:27Shannon Sharpe:Let me if you were back to Cincinnati you got booed. It wouldn't bother you

47:33Joe Johnson:hold on they didn't even boo me at away games from other teams so i i'm not i don't know what

47:37Shannon Sharpe:that feels like but i'm saying if you went back and they did boo you oh how much you love cincinnati

47:43Joe Johnson:okay yeah uh probably not because i could really care less honestly you know how i am i can't tell the way you be caping up for him oh before you say anything before you say anything you have to remember this is ocho we talk about man yeah i know what this is this is someone that was villainized to the media because of the way he conducted himself so obviously if i did change when the media villainized you who had your back god them bingo fans oh yeah they ate they did what they did and they and i kept on doing everything huh yeah because you didn't you were doing it for them you weren't doing it for the media that that is true i was doing it for them and actually myself as well because i wanted to bring as much entertainment as possible because there's really nothing else to actually watch for because we had losing seasons.

48:28Joe Johnson:But I'm thinking about my mentality in general. I'm thinking about my mentality in general. And me being able to shut something off, that means me no good anymore. I just think I would be okay with being booed because in a sense, I can go from, oh, I love you. And if things aren't going well, well, shoot. Well, fuck you. Excuse me. I'm sorry. I've been doing really well with not cursing. I can really be like, well, forget you too.

48:52Shannon Sharpe:For me, knowing how much I gave, and I gave it all, and now I come back, yeah, it would bother me. Because all them times I took them injections, all the times that I went out there and I wasn't supposed to be out there to make sure I could help the team win and give those fans something to cheer about and to be proud of their hometown team. Yeah, it would bother me. I ain't fit the whole joke. Hey, listen, when I went to Brooklyn, I got traded to Brooklyn, Ocho. I came back here to Atlanta. Boy, they booed the hell out of me. Did it, Ocho? Boy, what? I'm talking about two and we step on the flow.

49:33Shannon Sharpe:Boo? I'm talking about like it was my fault. Like it was my fault I got traded. Like it was nothing. Ocho, talking about the boo birds was out. I had about 30 that night. You got 30 on them and they booed you? but hey

49:48Joe Johnson:I would play into that though Joe you better than me I don't think I could have played basketball and take that same entertainment value that I had in football and I got a helmet on boy you mean I ain't got no helmet and you get to see me every time I'm on that court and the fans booing oh don't let me play away but I'm taking people bill I'm taking food off the sideline and man, Joe, I be doing all kind of stuff.

50:18Shannon Sharpe:They gonna, hey, boy, you gonna have big fine slips in your locker when you get there. And guess who would care?

50:23Joe Johnson:I mean, hey, every game I'm doing something, but I'm gonna make the game fun. Also while producing. Hey, you know what I just thought about? You said what I really care. Think about this, right? Think about the relationships we've all been in in the past. Yeah. Stay with me now. Yeah. And those are relationships that you cared about. at one point you cared about that individual. And they decide to leave. Yeah. I don't care, Joe.

50:52Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. I don't care.

50:55Joe Johnson:I mean, right there because I'm supposed to.

50:57Shannon Sharpe:You had already started to distance. You had already started to go here. Oh, yeah.

51:03Joe Johnson:Oh, yeah. Y 'all put the road together.

51:06Shannon Sharpe:But somewhere.

51:07Joe Johnson:Yes, sir. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you got to understand. i'm i'm i'm easy hey joe i don't know i don't know what it is about me joe you hear me that that wi-fi that good connection i could lose signal real quick joe you hear me i know i know i know what you mean i don't know i don't know how i got like that i don't know at what point in life i i became like that when things aren't oh that that's what we doing okay bet

51:32Shannon Sharpe:you know what it is take your time joe you you you're less tolerant when it comes to playing games Like, you know what I mean? As you get older, bro, you, I mean, hey look. Hey, I'ma salute you. Chunky the deuces. Ain't anybody playing no game.

51:46Joe Johnson:I like that, Joe. That's a good way to put it. I don't know what it is. I don't know what it is. I like to think I'm a good man, Joe. No? I like to think I'm a good man, Joe. Now you think about this. I think about some of the problems that I had over the years, over the course of the years with those I've dated, who I still happen to be friends with, Uncle Joe. But I would love to all sit them down right now and ask them a question. On a panel. Remember all the issues? Hey, Joe, remember all the issues we had when you were with me, right? And all the issues that you complained about. I would love to know.

52:18Joe Johnson:I want y 'all to raise y 'all hand. How many of y 'all found someone that didn't give you those same problems? Oh, it's mighty quiet. It's mighty quiet in here. Raise your hand.

52:28Shannon Sharpe:Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. I got a question.

52:31Joe Johnson:Take your time when you ask me, Joe.

52:32Shannon Sharpe:So y 'all can be cool with your exes when y 'all done with them. I'm talking about the way y 'all hit each other, still check on each other, see what's up. Y 'all do all that?

52:40Joe Johnson:I don't know about all that. I'm just saying in general, I'm a very friendly person, Joe. I'm cordial. I'm cordial. Hey, Joe, you hear me? I don't do no reaching out. I don't do no reaching out, Joe, but I'm just saying, I mean, we cool. We cool. I wish you luck in finding that fantasy and that fairy tale you're in search of, but it ain't not there. Right. Praise God.

53:03Shannon Sharpe:All the women I've ever dated, once we've broken up I've never seen them I've never seen them out I've never seen them at the mall I've never seen them at CVS I've never seen them at the grocery store I've never seen them at an event for the most part wherever we used to go yeah I probably you don't go no more yeah because you know the chances are you probably running into it's likely but i but i but i mean if i were to solve if i were to excuse me so if i were to see them hey how you doing good to see you i'm saying i'm saying if somebody with you here they probably wouldn't know that you know that you dated her nothing yeah yeah yeah okay okay i was hey this is such and such blue now you know when you get away she go they gonna ask who is that and you need to be some type of weight.

54:02Well, you, ooh, you offer friendly?

54:06Joe Johnson:Yeah, yeah.

54:07Shannon Sharpe:What I supposed to do, scowl?

54:09Joe Johnson:Hey, hold on, see, see, that's it. You supposed to already have that already out the way. So they would already know who it was and jump. So you have to explain. They not gonna know.

54:21Shannon Sharpe:Cause I ain't on social media like that. I ain't posting.

54:24Joe Johnson:right right right right right right right i understand i understand you live a very private

54:30Shannon Sharpe:life yeah i got you well everybody ain't got theirs on front street you know i mean you know everybody everybody ain't got their relationship on front street either bad stop oh you told me stop posting

54:44Joe Johnson:wait why you laughing hey hey joe

54:52Joe Johnson:hey hey joe oh at the oh joe at the beginning yeah you you what but hey what i'm talking about boy i would i would hell boy yeah y 'all i thought this

55:02Shannon Sharpe:dude i thought he was a photographer hey hey hey oh that boy no wide open

55:12Joe Johnson:a double barrel shotgun hey hey like hey like joe like m4 you hear me

55:18Shannon Sharpe:hey i thought i thought it was suge night all up in the videos and everything dancing in the background get out the woman get out the woman shot on joe

55:31Joe Johnson:no but that's all but that's him he like that i always been like that joe i don't know man i don't You know, it is what it is, man.

55:41Shannon Sharpe:I give him a hard time, but that's who he is. But I'm always, I'm always, you know, hey, more time than not, you're not going to see me out. Yeah. Hey, yeah, we out. I mean, hey, this is my people, you know, whoop, whoop, whoop. But then, you know, somebody going to slide a deal to me. Oh, I ain't know y 'all was together. Oh, really?

56:03Joe Johnson:Yeah, yeah, yeah. See, I like that too. Hey Joe, that's part of my little plan now, you hear me? That's always - Who is that? I like that. Boom, on fun street, bomb. So now you got a lot of bait you got to deal with. You got a lot of pressure you got to deal with because now people see you. Huh? You hear me? Hey, stay with me now. That's the play. Oh, let me see how you gonna play it.

56:26Shannon Sharpe:Mm-hmm. Yeah.

56:28Joe Johnson:You telling me all the ones you blocking. Oh, oh, oh, oh.

56:31Shannon Sharpe:Mm, mm, mm. What about the ones they get through?

56:34Joe Johnson:Hello. Especially if you're not used to a certain type, a certain demographic, a certain status, the one percent is at you like that. Are you going to block all of them?

56:44Shannon Sharpe:Of course.

56:46Joe Johnson:Because you know what it is? Boy, it's different, Joe. Boy, you got to think, Joe, you have to understand that. See, you got to have common sense. Boy, you got people out here could change your life with one little check. You could change everything. Why do you think it's so easy for those women to deal with certain dudes that are at the top? because they understand what it comes with. Now I understand it might be a bad situation, but this nigga could change my life. Oh shoot, my bad. My bad, my bad, my bad, my bad. But I'm just saying, Joe is different.

57:16Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I get you, I get you, I get you.

57:20Joe Johnson:They're going, they're going Joe for the opportunity. They're the chance that he can change my life.

57:27Shannon Sharpe:I had, you know, I used to try to tell him, oh such and such, such and such. I said, no, no, no, no, no, no. I said, you got it confused. He want to F you. Oh, he want to say I F Shanna Sharp's girl. That's what he want to say. There you go. Oh, you think if you do that with him, why you with me? You think that man going to be with you? That what you thinking? Okay. Right, right. Damn. Hey, it's a cold game out here, fellas. It is what it is. I ain't even, hey. I ain't have no bars on my house when you came in. That way it ain't to keep you in or out.

58:06Joe Johnson:Hey, they go to dough. They go to dough because you're going to learn the hard way.

58:12Shannon Sharpe:Yes. That's what they want to say. They want to say they F sharp girl. That's what they want to say. They not been to be with you if you with me and they sleep with you. They just want to bust you down. Now you fall for the banana in the tailpipe where they tell you they promise you. to get them skins. They'll drop a bag on you. But you got to realize, dropping a bag on you, they got it. It ain't nothing to them. A guy that's making $50 ,000 a year, you ask him to take you and get a$600 meal, that's something. A guy that's making$10 ,000,$15 million a year, and he drop a$25 ,000, he buy you a$3 ,000,$4 ,000 bag, that ain't itch to him.

58:54Shannon Sharpe:You need to understand relativity. It's relative. but okay but i'll let you go here though but you're gonna find out hey i didn't hey i didn't i

59:06Joe Johnson:didn't i didn't i didn't i didn't i didn't had the joe sometimes you got to break it down joe see unc broke it down in words you hear me not throughout the years throughout the years i've broken the same exact concept down you know to those who've been close to me i did an empower powerpoint presentation you hear me joe okay so i'm sure i'm showing you how it is now listen let you get better understanding of what's going to happen and what's going to come because what i'm dealing with you i'm putting you at the forefront you hear me i want to put you on the pedestal i want i i enjoy i want to let the world know this is me you hear me that's me now i understand what that comes with and i have no problem with that because i'm not i'm not insecure joe i never never have been yeah but for some reason what unc just explained sometimes it wins and i'm okay with that But I try to give a better explanation is it's not, they don't really want you.

1:00:03Joe Johnson:It's never been like that. It never has been. The game has always been the game. And it's up to you to be able to understand the game. If you don't, then you get lost in the sauce. And then at that point, they start passing around like a hot potato.

1:00:17Shannon Sharpe:Oh, man. I'm just saying. And once they find out you eating, of course. Hey, man, she eating. Of course. Of course, of course.

1:00:29Joe Johnson:Well, hey, you cooking, boy, are you hitting me?

1:00:32Shannon Sharpe:Of course, then you don't know how easy it was. Man, hey, first night, and you think, and you thought, you know how you on the phone, Joe, and every other word, you at a bad location, you hear every, you thought,

1:00:55Shannon Sharpe:Hey, hey. Okay. No, no, no. It is. You understand. But I've never been naive enough to think, I mean, early on in my career, and then I saw things like, you know, when you young, when you the big man on campus, but when you get to a level where we are, everybody make money. yes sir everybody make money make more money than the potential guy that they were talking to so the fact you got everything on lock and key that's why I tell it bro y 'all better stop trying to hey that's my girl that one too no you get one bro you get one hey hold up though on a 53 man roster, I'm sure y 'all done seen a lot.

1:01:55Shannon Sharpe:A lot. I'm talking about. I'm probably sure y 'all done seen teammates get into it, all kinds of stuff. Overwit.

1:02:02Joe Johnson:What, 30 years in?

1:02:05Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, I got drafted in 1990. Been a long time. I got 37.

1:02:10Joe Johnson:Hey, I got about 25, Joe. It's been a long time.

1:02:16Shannon Sharpe:I can imagine, boy. Ooh. I haven't seen some stuff in my days, and we ain't got but 12, 13 guys on the team. Yeah. I'm for real. We ain't got but 12, 13 guys. Go ahead, Joe. Pretty sure. But I'm saying with football, it's so many, y 'all. And I know cats that ran into some of the same work. You know what I mean? Joe, for some reason, they all attracted to the same work too. I know. Because they in the same – hey, Ocho, they in the same vicinity too now. If I go to a pond that's stocked with catfish, what the hell do I expect to catch? Catfish. I go to one of these nice ass bars and... What do you think?

1:03:02Shannon Sharpe:That type of woman puts herself in that environment. That type of guy is in that type of environment. What the hell do you expect him to like? What the hell do you expect her to like? She's in a place where there's nothing but high profile. about football, basketball, baseball, rappers, entertainers, high value, high earners. What is she supposed to like, leave there and just go talk to the local guy at the mall?

1:03:28Joe Johnson:She put herself - Come on now. Hey, Uncle Joe, you know they put themselves in that environment for a reason, huh? For sure.

1:03:35Shannon Sharpe:Hey, hey, hey, they throw that man catch on, they say I'm going to catch me one tonight. They gonna catch one too.

1:03:43Joe Johnson:They gonna catch one. Sometimes, depending on who do the catching, some hold on to a little longer than others. Yeah.

1:03:50Shannon Sharpe:Man, I had my homegirl told me, say, Shannon, it's just as easy to date a rich guy than a poor one. And given the choice, which one you think I'm taking? Come on now, take your time. Man, I done saw some stuff in my lifetime. I done saw two married dudes fighting. What? Over some who, huh? Man, Joe, I walk right out there. I'm talking about snow, knee deep.

1:04:19Joe Johnson:Grab both of them there. Hold on, huh? What are two married people fighting about? What are the two married dudes fighting about? What Joe just said? What happened?

1:04:28Shannon Sharpe:Yeah.

1:04:28Joe Johnson:Hoo-ha.

1:04:29Shannon Sharpe:They both trying to probably try to claim the same chick.

1:04:32Joe Johnson:But they wasn't married to?

1:04:34Shannon Sharpe:Yes. Yeah. Well, damn. Ocho, you ain't seen. You know what? I really don't even want to go ahead.

1:04:41Joe Johnson:Go ahead, Joe. Take your time.

1:04:43Shannon Sharpe:You ain't seen some cats who been in love with their side piece more than their wife, bro.

1:04:49Joe Johnson:I seen that before. Okay. Listen, I ain't putting no name. I ain't going to say no name, Uncle Joe. I'm not going to say no name. But listen, Chad, we family. And I asked, I said, sir, you know, listen, you my dog, right? But at what point do you slow down? You know, you're never home, but you're married. Boy, you got your ring on. How do you get away with doing what you do? and the first thing you said to me man oh two i've been married so long right this individual gives me a sense of peace a sense of peace i haven't had with what i got at home since after the first year of marriage that's why i always do it i don't have to hear no organ like when i when i'm when i'm with this person i get that joy that i used to have with my wife because she understands

1:05:35Shannon Sharpe:against her position.

1:05:37Joe Johnson:Man, I say, man, brother, man, just be safe. Be safe.

1:05:40Shannon Sharpe:You gotta play it. You gotta play it. Look here, I was a tight end. I wasn't trying to be a quarterback. Yeah. But I'm like, bro, bro, what we doing? What we doing?
