In short
Nightcap Hour 1 recap of the Spurs’ Game 7 win over the defending champs Thunder, plus Victor Wembanyama winning Western Conference Finals MVP and his response to criticism about crying.
Guests/backgrounds
The episode is hosted by Shannon Sharpe with co-hosts Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and “Uncle Joe” (Joe/Monterrey). They discuss NBA playoff matchups and player performance from a former pro athlete perspective.
Key claims
- Spurs’ defense and physical officiating helped them control OKC, including a pivotal Luke Kornet block on Hartenstein on a breakaway.
- OKC’s scoring and shot selection faltered; Shea (Shai) was limited late, with “legs gone” and missed tough threes.
- Spurs won the rebound battle after being down early, turning second-chance points around.
- Bench production (Champagnie, Harper, Kelton Johnson) was decisive; Harrison Barnes struggled (0-for on his birthday).
- Wembanyama is portrayed as a “human cheat code” leader whose intensity lifts teammates.
Notable examples
- Champagnie 6-for-10 from three (20 points, 6 rebounds).
- Dylan Harper hitting big threes as a 20-year-old rookie.
- Harrison Barnes “quadruple zeroes” stat line in limited minutes.

7:28Hey Joe You seem kind of But Joe seems kind of sad You seem kind of sad tonight don't you You feeling kind of sad You feeling a little sad
7:38Chad Johnson:huh joe huh hold on hold on hold on let me let me flip my let me flip my well goddamn dwayne way yeah hey what what what what what sitcom is that off of ojo a different world okay okay i'm just making sure you that just make sure i just call you dwayne way i know i'm just making sure you i'm i'm just making sure you know what i'm saying you know what's going on he locked in tonight hey Hey, I'm definitely locked in. Here you go. Go ahead. Get out of your chest, homeboy. Listen, hey, Uncle Joe, listen. I told y 'all, listen. This ain't just about this series. This is about since the NBA playoffs started.
8:16All y 'all told me when it was March Madness, oh, I'm picking mascots. I beat y 'all in that. It came to the NBA playoffs. NBA playoffs started. I told you exactly who I'm going to win each series all the way up until the finals. at some point, both of y 'all, I don't want to hear you say basket or ball no more. I don't want to hear nothing about how good y 'all know and how good your knowledge of basketball is because I put both of y 'all to shame the entire series. You hear me? I told you what the Spurs are going to do. Both of y 'all had the Thunder winning. Matter of fact, oh, no, don't worry about it.
8:53It's going to game seven. They playing at OKC. OKC going to win, you know, home court advantage, all in jibba-jabba. Man, nonsense. Huh?
9:03Shannon Sharpe:You're right, Ocho. You had it. But I think everybody, we all had it to go seven. You took the Spurs. Joe and I took the Thunder. Unfortunately. But it was Victor Wimby-Yama and Champagny, and those guys came to play tonight. 111-103. They are the Western Conference champs. Wimby will be the Magic Johnson Award. They're getting the celebration going now. But we went ahead and got started. And they played a well of a ball game. Everybody played unbelievable. You see what they did. The bench came in. Kelton Johnson was huge tonight. Dylan Harper did Dylan Harper things. He did a great job of taking care of the basketball.
9:43Shannon Sharpe:But Carter Bryant, he only played three minutes. But he came in there with a big time. Yeah. And finished at the rim. But it was champagne with those threes in the fourth quarter. He could third and fourth. And then De 'Aaron Fox is still quick as a cat. Vassell, Stephan Castle. So those guys, they dug deep. And Joe, I tweeted, Shea's legs are gone. Because if you notice, Joe, he didn't get that rest to start the second quarter. They knew the very first five minutes of that second quarter was going to be very important. He played 43 minutes. And I tweeted, I said, you know what? He's going to be looking to draw contact.
10:19Shannon Sharpe:Them legs gone. So look what he's going to do, Joe.
10:22Chad Johnson:Yeah, yeah.
10:23Shannon Sharpe:He tried to jump into somebody. He said, no, just hold down. Look at the last shots that he took.
10:28Chad Johnson:Yeah.
10:29Shannon Sharpe:Way way off, but I always felt the key to the series Joe and Joe We're gonna turn it over to you. I said if Wimby outplays both of their bigs They can't win this series the last two games He's did a number on them I don't know what shit shit took two shots Joe. I would get ready to ask you that Hey, he took two shots. I don't know what he thought he's gonna do with him I guess he thought they were like seven point shots. Hey, um, he was nervous. He was scared The moment was too much for him, Joe. I don't know. We've been talking about this the entire day of the playoffs, and why shit is not. Wimby was too much for him.
11:06Shannon Sharpe:The play of the night, this is the best defensive play in Spurs history. Luke Cornett's block on Hartenstein on a breakaway because that crowd was about to erupt, and they was about to be down two. But guess what happened? He blocks it. They go back the other way, and if I'm not mistaken, they go up seven. That was the play of the game. That's the block. That is the block of the Spurs. Look, Tim Duncan has had some great ones. So has the Admiral. But there has never been a block in Spurs history that's going to be comparable for that one. They're going to be talking about this for years and years to come.
11:44Shannon Sharpe:Joe, how did a team, the youngest team in the NBA, go on the road, beat a two-time MVP, a defending finals champ? How did they go on the road in a game seven and get it done?
12:00Chad Johnson:Fellas, San Antonio has always believed they were a better team. I'm talking about even before this series started, I feel like San Antonio felt they was better than OKC. And they came out and proved it in this series, especially in this game seven. I thought Shea came ready to play Uncle Ocho. You know, he got off to a great start. He was attacking. He was making them tough tools. He was getting to his midi. You know, he's virtually getting what he wants. This probably was his best game statistically, you know, probably since game two. But the other guys outside of Cason Wallace in that fourth quarter who kept him at arm's reach, man, the starting five was nonexistent.
12:43Lou Dort, Check Holmbridge, Hardenstein, he played hard.
12:47Chad Johnson:He was physical. He muscle. You know, he did what he could to slow Wimby down. But, bro, if you can't get no scoring out of these dudes, how in the hell do you think you're going to beat San Antonio? But I think what we have to do is give San – I have to give San Antonio a lot of credit because they're a hell of a defensive team. And they were able to keep all those guys at bay. I thought OKC bench came in, gave them great minutes. Caruso, McCain, big Jalen Williams. I thought they all came in and competed. Yeah, but San Antonio, when you got all these guys hitting on all cylinders, shooting at a high field goal percentage.
13:24Chad Johnson:Bro, they were just in tune. They were in sync. They understood the message. They knew they had to come into OKC and get one to make it to the finals. It was a hell of a performance by the Spurs. I give them that, bro. They showed me something that I didn't think they was going to win this game. I thought OKC guys would play a lot better. It's just unfortunate. Like you say, Unc, Shea was so tired down the stretch, bro. You see, when he shot that three, it was an air boss. Oh, yeah. And the one before that one. Yeah. Wasn't much better. Hey, Joe, we don't need you to think no more, Joe. We need you to listen to me.
14:01Huh? From now on, anytime we do basketball segments, especially during this Spurs and Knicks series, y 'all listen to me. Unc, I need you to listen to me.
14:09Chad Johnson:What you got, bro? Listen, I'm not going to see you wrong. I'm not the one. Jesus got the wheel, but I'm in the passenger seat. when it comes to talking basketball I have elite ball knowledge I don't watch the game but I understand the game so this is because of y 'all y 'all got me watching basketball now so it's easy for me to get a better understanding of who's going to win based on style and matchups I told you what was going to happen and that's exactly what happened okay hey this man look as a shit house rat so I've been see what I'm talking about see you're hard headed boy Hey, you got some good picks.
14:47Chad Johnson:I give you credit, bro. You made some good picks. Hey, Joe, I've been right the whole entire of the playoffs. That ain't good. That ain't luck. That's not luck. Respect. Help me understand. I need somebody to help me understand. Respect on my name. What you need to understand, man? I can help.
15:04Shannon Sharpe:Joe, you know you've been challenged scoring. With the exception of maybe one game that you really got out, the scoring has been there. why wouldn't you start McCain or Caruso instead of Dort?
15:18Chad Johnson:I don't know. Because Dort, he been struggling. He ain't been giving you nothing. Nothing on offense, but you need him defensively, huh?
15:28Shannon Sharpe:But Caruso is just as good, but he's a better offensive guy. Because now I can help off Dort. Because, see, you see, the thing is, is that they would shift Chet, I mean, Wimby on him. Wembe can help off him because he ain't going to do nothing. I'll let him take his two, three rainbow threes. I'll let him take that. He ain't no threat to put the ball on the floor. He's not going to attack me. So I didn't get that. But I was very, very impressed. I think, you know what? I think Ms. Johnson has said, hey, man, I need y 'all to play attention to Shannon Sharp's tweet. Because I say, man, y 'all going to get Harrison Barnes' ass out of there and let Kelton Johnson O 'Brien get those minutes.
16:15Shannon Sharpe:How many corner threes, Joe, is he going to gag? I mean, they leave him wide open. He ain't even close. He's not even close to making a basket. He don't do nothing. Look at him. Oh, hey, quadruple zeroes, zero points, zero field goals, zero threes, zero free throws, zero rebounds, zero turnovers, zero steals. Zero blocks, minus five in three minutes. Boy, he was good and terrible.
16:45Chad Johnson:Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, look, I think what helped San Antonio win this game, obviously collectively as a team, they were hitting on all cylinders. But when you got Champinney and Vassell, you know, playing the way they played, Champinney making shots, six for 10 from three, 20 points, six rebounds. Bro, that's a plus. on the road. Like, I didn't count him in as playing this great in this game seven the way he did.
17:18Shannon Sharpe:That played unbelievable.
17:19Chad Johnson:And just the physicality of the game, fellas. I mean, just like, even from bringing the ball up, they let him be real handsy today. They let him play today, Joe. They let him play. They let him be handsy today, Ocho. I'm talking about, hey, they were putting their hands on each other today. And the rest wasn't calling a lot of it. I can appreciate that. You know what I mean? A great physical battle. Guys fighting through picks. I mean, here, as soon as you cross half court, somebody had their hands on you. You know what I mean? I thought it was a great game. I love what Mitch Johnson has done with this young San Antonio Spurs team.

17:57Chad Johnson:He's put belief in those guys. Amen. And they following Wimby, bro. They going to be scary. They gonna be scared.
18:05Shannon Sharpe:Oh, when I looked at, I was like, let me see who the referee's gonna be. I see Mark Jones.
18:10Chad Johnson:Yeah.
18:10Shannon Sharpe:I see Tivins. I see Goble. I see my guy, Mitch Irvin. I said, okay, they gonna let him play. They gonna let him play tonight? They gonna let him play. Hold on, they was looking for, they looking for fouls. Mark Jones, what you want me to do? Hey, hey, they let - You better get your ass up and go back there and get on defense, they gonna get a layup. Hey, hey, Joe and I, They let them play in game six. They let them play in game six. But that's the thing. Are they going to let them play? Remember, in game five, they shot 38 free throws.
18:44Chad Johnson:Yeah.
18:45Shannon Sharpe:Last game, I think they shot 12. This game, they shot 22. There was 32 of 38.
18:53Chad Johnson:Man.
18:55Shannon Sharpe:17 of 22. So you shoot 16 fewer. Guess what? and that's 16 fewer points. I love the pace, Joe, because remember we talked about it, Joe. I said, Joe, as long as they keep him below 60, they keep him near that 40, high 40s, maybe low to mid 50s. I like that pace that favors San Antonio. You let OKC, you let them juggers start touching that 60, 65, 70, you're not beating them. You're not beating them. What if your soda actually did something for you? Introducing Sky Pop Protein Soda. Today we're diving into a fascinating conversation with Stefano Pallard, head of fan development for Scuderia Ferrari HP. Your pronunciation is strongly American. It's more Scuderia Ferrari. I'm still working on rolling my R's. But what I was able to learn from Stefano was the importance of engaging the Tifosi, the Ferrari superfans in the digital age. Ferrari fans and superfans want to be part of something, want to belong to something. So they want to be part of a community and ultimately they want to be part of a winning team.
20:50You've got Ferrari, which has a long history, design history. And now you're interacting in a kind of digital space. I'm curious how you balance those two traditions. I don't believe it. I believe his legs will go first. I say, look what, give him that. And when presented, an opportunity to trap him. get it hey Miss Johnson San Antonio yeah well deserved victory they are hey this was unbelievable game I mean but you look at the way they came out Joe the only listen watching this game and I'm watching it intently Joe if they don't let man OKC was killing them on the glass they were up they were They were plus 10, plus 11.
23:46Shannon Sharpe:At one point, they was plus 14. Yeah. It flipped around. All of a sudden, guess what? The Spurs win the rebound battle by two.
23:56Chad Johnson:Listen, man.
23:57Shannon Sharpe:At the rate they were going, they were going to lose this game just on second chance points alone.

24:14Chad Johnson:That was big time. Listen, anytime your damn second best player take the least amount of shots on the team, Jake took two shots. Everybody else who played took at least four damn shots. Okay, Ocho, can you please tell me how in the hell you're going to win a game like that, man? You're not. That man, you got, hold on. OKC got the Williams kid. That man played four minutes, bro. He took four shots. He took more. He double Wimby. in shot attempts. High in the hill, Chick, I mean, Chick. High in the hill, Chick, hungry play 33 minutes, bro. You mean tell me he only get two attempts?
24:53Shannon Sharpe:And Williams had two fewer points.
24:56Chad Johnson:Come on, man. Come on, man. I don't know.
25:00Shannon Sharpe:What am I going to do with that, Joe? What am I going to do? Joe, what am I going to do? Tell me. I need you and Joe to tell me what I'm going to do with them down four rebounds that Chick got.
25:07Chad Johnson:Nah, damn thing. You can't do nothing with them, man. Can't do nothing. I have a question. What's the question? Okay, Uncle Joe, we continue to talk about Shett not taking advantage of the offense opportunities, being scared to shoot the ball. Obviously, the moment is too big for him. What if he's not the second best player on the team? What if he's not? What if we've made him the second best player, but he's really not because he's scared of the big moments?
25:31Shannon Sharpe:No, but I mean, you're an all-NBA player on both ends, on offense and defense. You get a max contract. Yeah, you got to be. They paid you to be the second best player. Hey, it ain't looking like it. It ain't looking like it. And I don't know why they brought Jalen Williams' ass back in game six. Joe, can you imagine if you leave him, at least give me something game. Because here's what's going to happen. If you lose game six, guess what? He ain't going to be ready to go game seven.
25:59Chad Johnson:I'm going to be honest. He couldn't have played in this game no damn way. Nah. Nah, not with them. You see how hard them dudes out there playing and touching and grabbing on each other, man. I do. I saw it. Hey, bro, this was, hey, man, you had to have some willpower. You know what I mean? Like, I sensed it from the start because I was thinking like, damn, hold on. San Antonio finna blow these boys out at home? I know they ain't finna go out like that.
26:26Shannon Sharpe:If they could have kept them off the glass, they would have. That's what, if you think about it, Joe, when they, it changed, because look at when Wimby goes out. Wimby goes out. They brought Cornett in. Then they flipped it. they brought Jalen Williams in. Not Jalen Williams. That man had nine rebounds at the half. Nine rebounds. Yeah. He's giving them second pass. Because here's the thing, Joe. They was up 11. And all of a sudden, you get a second chance point. It's down to three. You're down to eight. And now you get another three. It's down to five. As opposed to one shot, one kill. Hey, you get one crack at it.
27:02Shannon Sharpe:If you don't put the ball in the damn basket, guess what? We're going down to the other end. Yeah. And I don't know what Miss Johnson told him at the half. He said, look here, everything, damn fast breaks, I need everything to get on the glass. Yeah, yeah. Everybody, get your squeegee, get your Windex, and I need you to get on the glass.
27:23Chad Johnson:Hey, and you seen how Wimby started the damn game? His first play was to the bucket, gave you that shoulder, create some space off the glass. I said, oh, damn.
27:35Shannon Sharpe:I'll be with you. Okay. It's going to be a long night. Yeah. I love the closeness of this team. You see Wimby? Bryant was down there. His coach chewed his ass out.
27:50Shannon Sharpe:You see him. He goes over and he's talking and he's leaning on Bismarck Biambo. Bismarck Biambo ain't played, ain't giving him anything but leadership. Yeah. And working with Wimby, pushing on. This is what you're going to need to expect in this game. This is how what you should do. He's been he's been the mentor that he's needed. Look, I understand that Duncan with Duncan is. I understand what Robinson, but they're not going to be there every day. They're not going to be on a. Put me put beyond both room right next to Wimby. As a matter of fact, get him joining room, get him a presidential suite with a joining door.
28:29Shannon Sharpe:So he can go in there and check on it. Hey, that's that's that's invaluable. he will he I think he knows it now Joe but he's gonna look back down the road and you know you hear how guys talk about you talk about how Antoine and Paul Pierce and those guys yeah what they gave you yeah he will look back five ten years down the road from now and says man what Ben Bismarck Biambo gave me that was some of the best NBA advice I could have ever received yeah He is a natural born leader.
29:00Chad Johnson:Yeah.
29:01Shannon Sharpe:He is a natural born leader. Now he, yeah, he get fiery at times, but the compassion that he shows because he knows everybody is not on his talent level. And so he can't be hard on them like he would can himself.
29:16Chad Johnson:Yeah.
29:16Shannon Sharpe:But the way he put his arms around the young man the other night, the way he, the man sitting on the floor and he said, I'm proud of you.
29:23Chad Johnson:Yeah. Big time.
29:26Shannon Sharpe:He came in there, he didn't play what he played, three minutes tonight. He played three minutes. Three minutes. Gave you a rebound. Gave you a tough bucket. The only Spurs player. I tell you what, Chad. Tell me the only player that played for the Spurs that was minus and plus minus. I'll give you one guess.
29:45Chad Johnson:Oh, man. Come Come on, man.
30:00Shannon Sharpe:Give you one guess. You got Champagne, plus 16. You got Wimby, plus seven. You got De 'Aaron Fox, plus three. Vassell, not plus, but he wasn't mindless. Stephon Castle, plus one. plus six by Johnson plus two by Bryant plus one by Harper plus one by Cornette plus nine by Harper give me the guy that got minors oh yeah who got the
30:26Chad Johnson:minor
30:31Shannon Sharpe:boy that Harrison boy boy look at that joke ain't what the elephant left on the show and anybody that's ever been to the circus y 'all know what the elephant
30:38Chad Johnson:leave on the show great oh the man only played three and a half minutes that was
30:43Shannon Sharpe:That was too many.
30:48Shannon Sharpe:Hey, hey, hey. Hey, hey. However many minutes he played, that was three too many. And look what, and guess what? You see Coach got his ass up out there, didn't he? Yeah. And went to them young boys. You talking about a guy that's been on an NBA championship team. He was a starter on an NBA championship team. A starter on another team, on another team that finished run up. Yeah. And in a moment like this, with all these young-ass guys, the coach trusted guys in their first, second, or third year more than he trusted a seven-, eight-, nine-year veteran. That should tell you everything you need to know.
31:27Shannon Sharpe:Everybody else, everybody else, hey, he ain't got to get no workout.
31:31Chad Johnson:Hey, San Antonio having seven guys in double figures, fellas. Hey, look, you talk about Bismack Biambo having that leadership for Wemby. showing them the ropes. I like Kelly Olenek too. I think this is what a lot of these young teams are missing, that veteran presence. Yes. But guys who, if you need them to play, hell, they can step in and play, give you a few hard fouls or whatever the case may be, like they did the other night. But for the most part, helping these young guys along the way, showing them the ropes, you know, keeping them level-headed and helping them understand the moment that they're in, bro, every team needs this.
32:16Chad Johnson:But you take the veteran guys out because, you know, the veteran minimum may be three, four million. They don't want to pay that. So they'd rather go with a two-way guy. So that's why you have a lot of these teams, bro, that don't have a veteran presence and you have to deal with a lot of BS. You know what I mean? So I'm happy for San Antonio, bro. I'm happy for saying that, Antonio. I'll be honest with y 'all. I think they have a great upside, and I think they have a great chance, obviously, to win a title this year.
32:46Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, they played unbelievable. For this team to be as young as they are and to go on the road and to beat the defending champs in their building with a two-time league MVP. Man, I don't know. Look, I'm trying to think when something of this magnitude has happened to lose a game seven as a defending champ in a Western Conference Final on your home court? Chet, y 'all help me out. When's the last time it's been done?
33:15Chad Johnson:I don't know, man. I'm going to be honest. I don't know. It's the first half of everything, Uncle Joe.
33:21Shannon Sharpe:Hey, and Chet, and excuse me, and Shea's going to get some criticism. Just like all other two-time MVPs lose a home game in game seven, just like we ripped. You remember last year when we ripped Jokic for losing? Y 'all remember that, right, Joe? I don't know, Joe. I think you was on here. You remember that? Yeah. The same way we ripped LeBron because we hold guys with MVPs to a higher standard. The same way they criticize Lamar more harsh than they criticize a Josh Allen or a Joe Burrow or a Trevor Lawrence or what's the guy at the Chargers, Ocho? Herbert, Justin Herbert. Justin Herbert. Yeah.
34:06Shannon Sharpe:I in hell, he gone away for two weeks, but that's another thing. We'll talk about that at some point in time. That's unacceptable in my book, but go ahead. Death in the family, I get it. Wife having a child, I get it. But your wife on a press junket, and you... But anyway, we don't get back to our normally scheduled programming. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. We don't like that slide. I got a question too, huh? What's the question? When you talk about criticizing Shea, you still criticize him as well as he played the night. He didn't play well. I mean, if you think about it, as Joe said, in five, six, he hasn't been very good.
34:46Shannon Sharpe:They were better with, you go back and look at them, Joe. Look at what they plucked when he was off the court, what they did. I'm not saying, Chad, because y 'all know how y 'all are trying to clip it. I'm not saying they're a better team without him. I'm saying when he went to the bench, look at, okay, when Wimby go to the bench, what happens? When other superstars go to the bench, what happens? He did not play well enough. He shot 40%. A guy that shot 53 % in the regular season shot 40%. Hey
35:28Chad Johnson:I understand what you're saying I gotta give you a little pushback on that though I mean game 7 when I need to damn have it I'm talking about I need to have it I thought he brought it bro now I thought it's supporting cast the guys off the bench who's been consistent the Carusos the McCains, Williams but damn first off we got J-Dub out That's another all-star. Max Gat. Yes. You got A.J. Mitchell out. I mean, two guys who are bucket getters. Yes. In that starting lineup, outside of Wallace, like I said, in that fourth quarter making a lot. He ain't got it.
36:09Shannon Sharpe:Damn, what are you supposed to do? But that's what I asked, Joe. Why not start a guy that can give you more production offensively? Because your problem is scoring. Your problem is allowing Wimby to be Ed Reed. your problem is a guy that you're allowing them to play five on four right that was your problem
36:27Chad Johnson:that look that is your problem but we also hadn't lost what they lost game one they had been playing pretty well at home you know what i mean yes i think because they are the defending champs what would they they they weren't gonna take lou lou dork out the starting lineup fellas they weren't gonna do that call for desperate measures i understand that but not not in the
36:49Shannon Sharpe:game seven huh he does they they they they they they they they they they they they they they this team from the very beginning every time they beat them they said you go back and listen to wimpy's comments uh comments it says it gives us confidence we know we can compete with this team we're not in awe of this team and when they beat you in one see the problem that you have is that they beat you you know if you beat somebody one time guess what you believe You can beat them again. Yeah, yeah. You can beat. And guess where they beat them at game one? The only difference, there are six games in between.
37:26Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. That's the only difference. It's still in Oklahoma City. They still got the two-time defending. They still got the two-time MVP. They still are reigning champs. Nothing changed in my mind. Ms. Johnson probably told them, guys, the only difference is we beat them in game one. This is game seven. Who's to say we're not supposed to beat them in game seven?
37:46Chad Johnson:Right.
37:47Shannon Sharpe:Just because it's there, we've already been there. We've already done that. But there are some games, Joe, when he scored 19, when he scored, the mere fact that they're in this position, yet the starters ain't giving much. Their bench was sensational. You can't say anything about that. Think about it. Hold on tonight. 23, 35, you got 37 points from your bench. Finally, finally, it was close. You got Dylan Harper. Dylan Harper hit some big threes tonight. Big threes. Big threes tonight. Kelton Johnson got on the glass. You see him getting that rebound, putting that put back, and starting barking, ooh, ooh, ooh.
38:28Shannon Sharpe:There's dogs in the house. There's dogs in the house. Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. There's dogs in the house. Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. I said, come on, Kel.
38:36Chad Johnson:Kel got on that glass on him. Yeah, and he said he the biggest dog in this yard. He did. He absolutely did. I love what Harper brings to the game, bro. a 20-year-old rookie who looks like he's been in the league for seven or eight years, bro. I'm talking about, fellas, it's hard to come by. You know, they had – San Antonio had the number two pick this year, bro, and they drafted Dylan Harper. So to be in this position to where you got Harper, Castle, Wimby, Fox, the future is so bright for these dudes. Joe and Fox.
39:13Shannon Sharpe:Hey, Fox played his ass off tonight. Game five and six, he played better. He got more points in game seven than he had in five and six combined. He looked good. He looked like, I'm like, man, get up all the Fox and let him work on these fools. Couldn't nobody stay in front of him. Not Dork, not Caruso, not Wallace, none of them. He had all of them on the slip and slide.
39:36Chad Johnson:You see how fast that boy is out there, man? He too quick. Quick of the cat on the marble table. He too quick and too explosive. And you know what I like about the young rookie, Harper 2? What else? The moment ain't too big for him, Joe. Nope. The moment ain't too big for him. Hitting those big threes like that. Yeah. Beautiful. Now, I wish. He playing with confidence. That goddamn shit. Bad. Come on. I don't mean to butcher his first name. Shit. You said shit. Those are the shots he's supposed to be making tonight. At his height. Ocho. He ain't take but two. You can't make no shots if you don't take any.
40:14Chad Johnson:You got to give yourself a damn chance. You're not playing with confidence. That's why you're not taking the shots.
40:20Shannon Sharpe:Man, listen. But when they put that, you're right, Ocho. Because you look at who they had. They had Vassell guarding that man. Oh, man. They got Vassell guarding him. No, no. Vassell is a hell of a defender. But at seven foot, I ain't hovered. And maybe that's how they got him playing, Joe. Because they don't really use him in the post-up game because that's not his game. He posts around because you want Shea to have access to the paint.
40:49Chad Johnson:I'm sorry. I wish I could agree with you on that, but I can't because I'm going to tell y 'all why. They were in that pick and roll numerous times tonight, and Fox switched on him a couple times. His ass didn't duck in, didn't make himself big or nothing. He just came to the switch and then goes out to the corner three. I'm like, bro, stand right, get a damn three seconds. Make their ass throw you the damn ball. Ain't no way in hell Fox supposed to be guarding them. Guess who's on the weak side? I don't care who, but he got to come over here. You don't care. Listen, he going to have to come over here and help and let me spray to the corner.
41:27Chad Johnson:But listen, if we just going to let Shea play in isolation the whole game, yeah, I know he kind of got it going in this game. But the damn fourth quarter, he ain't got nothing in the tank.
41:38Shannon Sharpe:But that's what Joe, what did you say? Let Shay get his and shut the water off for everybody else. That's what you been preaching.
41:49Chad Johnson:But the only reason they want to shut out because hell you ain't giving yourself a fighting chance. I'm the man playing. I ain't no rhythm.
41:55Shannon Sharpe:I been watching him. I been watching him. I even take them 18 footers, watch him fall. I just been clapping all night. Now all of a sudden, Joe, he want me to go get a basket. And I've been using these hands to clap.
42:05Chad Johnson:The man played 33 minutes, bro. Took two shots. Come on, man. He's scared. There's only one answer behind that. Hey, Ocho. He only take two shots. I'm nervous. The moment is too big for me. I'm not confident in my shot. I'm not in rhythm. I agree, because I'm not going to even lie. There was a few times, especially the times Wimby Gordon, he don't even look at the damn rim. I told you. He don't even look at the rim. Don't get this ball, man. Like, he don't even make himself a threat. But not only that, I think when San Antonio is making shots like how everybody – bro, they going to be impossible to beat.
42:42Shannon Sharpe:Yeah.
42:43Chad Johnson:Like, you know what I mean? Like, when they get off the starts like that and they three after three. I mean, hell, they were 17 for 40 from the three, fellas, at 42%. Bro, that's pretty damn good. On the road, game seven?
42:55Shannon Sharpe:In the game seven, Joe, it was fake about it. Because every time Wallace hit one, Champagny come right back behind him and hit one. And then they hit somebody else hit another one, here comes Champagny right behind him. Fox right behind him. Dylan Harper right behind him. So it was every time you do something, okay. They had an answer. They had an answer. And see, that is where OKC normally gets their opponent. because when they go on their run, normally teams don't have an answer. Go back and look at them in the first round. Phoenix might have a lead, but then when they go on the run, they can't suppress it.
43:39Shannon Sharpe:You look at the Lakers. Every time, nobody could answer it. And so now all of a sudden, you got somebody that's just as young, just as athletic, and they got a guy that's 7 '4.5", 7 '5", that can make shots, that's not afraid to take a shot. Joe, did you see that man pull up from the three?
44:01Chad Johnson:Yeah, yeah, I did.
44:02Shannon Sharpe:That man put a little step back. He was about to drive on Jalen Williams. He said, nah. He said, come here. He said, can I have this dance? He said, you've been a wallflower all night. Nobody asked to dance with you. Shall I? Bop. Hey, hey. He, man, look here. This is unbelievable, man. It is. This is crazy. 22 points from Champini. Hold on, hold on, hold on. It's unbelievable to y 'all.
44:27Chad Johnson:Oh, here he go with his shit. I'm gonna tell you, it's unbelievable. You can't listen to this all night. Huh? We gotta sit here and listen to this all night, man. Yo, Joe, I'm just telling you. Damn. I mean no disrespect. Joe, I mean no disrespect. What you saw tonight, what you with tonight, it's unbelievable to y 'all. I told you what was gonna happen. And you know what? Who you got in the final, Joe? I got the Spurs, yeah.
44:52Shannon Sharpe:Here we go again with the bullshit. Uncle, you got the finals. We got another game between before they play again. So we got tomorrow night, we got Monday night, we good. What you mean? Right now, Joe, you ain't got to pick. Let's just, let's focus on this game. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Don't do that. Yeah, we got Monday. What you scared of? We gonna pick all the, we gonna pick the games on Monday. Okay, we'll wait. I mean, listen, your answer ain't gonna change from now to Monday. You don't know my answer is. Hey, he feeling good tonight. that now you can hey the boy early i don't know what time out i've been feeling good since the nba playoff started because i knew it was going to happen i got every playoff series right everyone that's not luck that's ball knowledge which y 'all don't have you jank his hair hey respect today oh hey joe and ocho you know today was harrison barnes birthday yeah And the man went 0-4 on his birthday.
45:48Shannon Sharpe:What the hell of a gift.
45:49Chad Johnson:Hey, you gotta chill. Hey, you gotta chill. Hey, you gotta chill.
45:55Chad Johnson:You gotta... They gotta win for him on his birthday. Hey. Man, listen, I been running the people. That's all they been talking about, how they thought the Spurs was gonna win and this. I be doggone.
46:08Shannon Sharpe:And them boys did that, man. They did that. That's the thing, though, Joe. You know this. in a game seven, it ain't promised. It ain't, bro. People just say, well, they at home. Okay, and? Because if you're the home team, in order for it to get to game seven, the visiting team had to have won one game in your place. If you win one, why can't you win two? The thing that the Spurs can do, that not very many teams, if any, can do, they can match up with them, talent for talent, athlete for athlete. I don't know if any other team can match up with him like that, Joe. When you look at Champagny and Vassell and Castle and Kelton Johnson and Dylan Harper, oh, we can go with Jalen Williams.
46:56Shannon Sharpe:We can go with Caruso. We can go with McCain. Yeah, we can match up with him, player for player. But we got something y 'all don't. He's 7 '5".
47:09Chad Johnson:Hey, I'm glad. I love that little soliloquy you just gave on the Spurs. But for some reason, knowing everything you know, for some reason, y 'all still picked the Thunder. You picked Miami to make the playoffs.

48:31Hello, hello. This is Malcolm Glebel from Smart Talks with IBM. So they want to be part of a community, and ultimately they want to be part of a winning team. You've got Ferrari, which has a long history, design history.
49:16And now you're interacting in a kind of digital space. I'm curious how you balance those two traditions. When it comes to fan engagement, it's really digital technology and digital channels are being able to create a deeper connection with our fans. 51:14Chad Johnson:Yeah. Me? Come on, man. Come on, man. Stop it. Damn. Wait a minute. When did I say that?
51:24Shannon Sharpe:You say this you said the heat was gonna make the playoffs they got to play it. Oh, we got the boys here I was a plan I died that he played When you plan when you pick the Spurs when it when it mattered when it mattered When it was time to get serious and the playoff started when the window window when it not playing when the playoff started I told you every series and how it was gonna go and it played out exactly how I said and the same thing gonna happen for the finals I tell you what, I'm not even going to tell you who will win the finals. But I know one thing, New York City is going to be flipped upside down.
52:02Shannon Sharpe:Wimby is the 2026 Western Conference most valuable player. The Urban Johnson Trophy, that's what it's named after, Urban Magic Johnson. The Eastern Conference have the Larry Bird Trophy. Here's a video of Wimby receiving the trophy.
52:32Shannon Sharpe:Boy, I sure hate when that joke has kids and holds something over his head and the kids try to get it. Hey, hey. Hey, the kids gonna have to be on top of the house and he have to cover their ditch.
52:42Chad Johnson:Hey, man, let me tell y 'all something. Real talk. That young man there is determined. He's determined to win this year, bro. Yep. He has an attitude and it's infectious because it runs through the rest of those guys who compete on their team with him, and they love him, bro. You can see it. It's oozing out of them. And he's leading right. You know, he comes in, he plays hard, he plays the right way. He plays winning basketball. And he is a human cheat code. He is a human cheat code. He is.
53:14Shannon Sharpe:That's it. I think sometimes the leader's greatest attributes is how he treats his teammates. How he gets them ready to play. Not only does he lead by example, they see how hard he works. They see he's in early, probably out late. They see how hard he plays on the court. You got to realize there ain't very many people, there ain't that many people that's ever been alive that's been that tall. he ain't he's not clumbersome he gets up and down I mean most guys they can't they can't move he can move no he ain't he can't get up and down the court like a Shaq but to be 7-5 and a half 7-4 and a half 7-5 with shoes and as hard as he plays bro he trying to get back on defense Yeah, it's taking – I'm watching him.
54:15Shannon Sharpe:He playing so hard, Joe, about two minutes into the game, he already got his hands on his shorts.
54:20Chad Johnson:It takes a lot to fuel that big body. Hey, you got to get through that second win. You got to get – because, you know – You got to blew through that first. Oh, because the pressure's so high. It's game seven. Yes. As soon as the tip go, you in full throttle. Like, yeah, you ain't even taking a damn breath, and you don't even know it. So by the time you figure that out, you grabbing your shorts. But I agree.
54:43Shannon Sharpe:the intensity is so thick, Joe. Oh, my. That's why you can't breathe. It's because the intensity is sucking up all the oxygen. You understand the gravity of this game? Yeah. Man, it was unbelievable that the way they came out, you could tell the way they came out, Joe, the first two minutes of the ball game. I was like, boy, OKC, y 'all got your hands full tonight. Yeah.
55:04Chad Johnson:Yeah. It ain't taking nothing but the first play for me, OKOcho, seriously. When he caught it at the three and he drove on Hartenstein and he gave him that bump and he shot it off the glass. Oh, shit. It's going to be a long night. It's going to be a long – because that's the last thing you want, bro, is for their best player to get an easy bucket to start the game. And now look how he get back on defense. He pointing. He ready. Yep. It's too – hey, you let him get going, bro. It's hard to cool him. Next thing you know, it's a ripple effect. Everybody's knocking down shots now. Everybody's playing hard.
55:38Chad Johnson:They done built the league up to about 13, 14. I said, man, listen, damn.
55:47Shannon Sharpe:Players with 175-plus points and 15 blocks in the conference finals. There have only been three. Prior to this series, there had only been two. One, Shaquille O 'Neal. The other, Hakeem Olajuwon. And now Wemby joins this elite, illustrious group to this list. players with 175 plus points, 15 plus blocks in a conference finals. Wemby responds to the criticism for crying on the court. Personally, I refuse to carry the burden of hiding my emotions. I love it. Yeah. Because you know what they do. They try to, well, such and such didn't cry. That's him. Well, such and such didn't do that. That's him.
56:31Chad Johnson:Yeah.
56:33Shannon Sharpe:Bro, look here. I got some, I got Kleenex. You gonna play like that? this dude is unbelievable man how can you he might be when it's all said and done yeah he might be one of the most liked NBA players in the history of the game and we've had some beloved players yes but it's hard to find someone even if you don't root for the Spurs to dislike this young man it is bro he's doing everything right huh he's doing everything right some some some players just the way they carry themselves, they're just likable.
57:08Chad Johnson:Yeah. Just likable. But then you're always going to have your select few who won't find a reason to hate for no reason.
57:16Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Even though there isn't. There's really nothing you can find to say really bad about it. Nothing. They being critical of someone showing emotion. At what point? At what point is emotion bad, Joe? Every player, there's only one player that had a positive plus minus. That was Jalen Williams. He came off the bench for 26 minutes, gave you a double-double. He gave you 11 points, 10 rebounds, four assists. He was plus 10. Big hole. Minus 14. Chet, minus three. Shea, minus seven. Lou Dort, minus nine. Kaysom Wallace, minus three. Caruso, minus five. Kendrick Williams, minus one. Jerry McCain, minus eight.
58:04Shannon Sharpe:those boys young men they balled their ass out tonight Cardio Chet All-NBA All-NBA gave you four points, four rebounds Hey Dylan Harper came off the bench he was a rookie gave you seven rebounds Chet had four
58:26Chad Johnson:Listen the Spurs have grown throughout this whole postseason, fellas. Starting with the Blazers to Minnesota.
58:38Shannon Sharpe:Yes.
58:39Chad Johnson:The OKC. I felt the Minnesota series prepared them for this series because of the physicality. And Wimby knew how he had to respond, knew how he had to play, knew how he had to play through the physicality. I thought he was terrific, you know, pretty much throughout every game this series, man. Except that one, Joe. Which one? You talking about Wimby? Yeah.
59:02Shannon Sharpe:You remember game five, Joe? And there was a couple of games. He had one game. He had one rebound at the half. I said, come on, Wimby now.
59:09Chad Johnson:Yeah. Yeah, but since then, since that talk Pop had with him? Oh, yeah.
59:14Shannon Sharpe:Game six and seven?
59:16Chad Johnson:He was on fire. Hey, hey, hey. He had it on his mind, man, and you can tell from the start of the game. You look at game six in San Antonio, how he got off to that great start, determined to put his step on the game. And this game seven, the way he started the game, bro, just being aggressive, putting his head down, getting to the basket, hey, man, it ran through those other guys. I think it oozes confidence into those other guys. I love what Castle has done. I think he'll probably make a few defensive teams. Okay, Ocho Castle. Castle. Oh, yeah, he should. Yeah. I mean, you look at what he done to Shea, the way he competed against Shea throughout this whole series.
1:00:01Chad Johnson:I ain't talking about just defense. I'm talking offensively going at his damn man too.
1:00:06Shannon Sharpe:Plus, the thing is, Joe, okay, you're like, well, Shea averaged this. What he didn't get is that. He didn't get his regular season average, and he damn sure didn't shoot the percentage that he shot in the regular season. So that's because – and I thought all those guys, they didn't have no problem. Vassell would take him. Champagny would take him. De 'Aaron Fox would take him. Sometimes you can't be afraid of the moment. I think sometimes when they see these big-time players come up and they're like, oh, Lord, have mercy. Oh, what did I – no, hell no. I'll be in awe of you tomorrow. Right. But today I'm going at your throat.
1:00:42Chad Johnson:You hear me? You got to work. You got to work for everybody.
1:00:46Shannon Sharpe:I'm not saying that you're not going to score.
1:00:48Chad Johnson:Yeah.
1:00:49Shannon Sharpe:But you best damn believe I'm going to make it as difficult as possible I can on your ass.
1:00:53Chad Johnson:And you know what? For San Antonio, bro, they don't have no liabilities on defense. Even when you look at Fox, hell, he can guard his butt off. You know what I mean? When he want to, yes. Yeah, he can guard when he want to. But listen, when you put Harper in there, man, it just seems like it's just a different ball game because he plays like a big guard, a real big guard. You know what I mean? He's always going to be under control. He's a young player, so he may give you a couple turnovers here and there. You have to live with them. Live with it. But, bro, for a 20-year-old to be out there handling that pressure the way he's handled that pressure, man, he's such a key component to what they do.
1:01:33Shannon Sharpe:The key is that having a team early on in your career and have a team surround you. Man. See, Wimby is not going to have to wait four years, five years, six years. This team is already built to his liking. You look at Ladd Bird. They go to a situation. He already got McHale. He already got Parrish. Now, guess what they bring in? They bring in Nate Archibald, Tiny Archibald. They get rid of Tiny Archibald, and guess what? They bring in Dennis Johnson.
1:02:06Chad Johnson:Yeah.
1:02:06Shannon Sharpe:And they already had cornbread. so think about that magic he goes to a team they got Kareem they got Jamal Wiltz they got Storm and Norman Nixon
1:02:23Shannon Sharpe:so he's not gonna have to wait well you know they need a few more pieces they got every damn thing they need right now to win a championship forget competing they got everything they need to win a championship
1:02:36Chad Johnson:I agree It's like, because look, your bench is going to play a big role, and they got some great guys coming off their bench. Yes. Harper and Kelton Johnson, even coordinated at times. I'm sure Harrison Barnes will be a little better in the finals. Are you sure? Hey, but Unc, I got a question. Hey, Unc. What's up, Ojo? Listen, when we talk about the Spurs, right, think about this. What are you expecting from Harrison Barnes when he does get the two or three minutes that he does?
1:03:08Shannon Sharpe:He's coming in to give someone else a rest. Ocho, why you think he only getting two or three minutes and not five, 10 minutes? Tell me why you think he only getting two to three minutes. Tell me what you think. In your basketball, you watch basketball, your knowledge is not like Joel's and I's, but when you watch, why is he only getting two or three minutes and not eight to 10 minutes?
1:03:32Chad Johnson:You got to come in and make him a dick.
1:03:34Shannon Sharpe:Oh, that's why.
1:03:35Chad Johnson:Hey, listen, come in. Don't make any mistakes. Play defense. If you got a shot and you open, take your shot. If you miss, so be it. But we need to give your starter, whoever you coming in for, we need to give them two, three minutes. Let them catch their breath before they come in. That's all. Just don't make no mistakes. Minimize your errors.
1:03:55Shannon Sharpe:If you a 10-year vet, 10-year vet, 12-year vet. Talk to me. You the third receiver. you go in there and the next thing you know next drive they got the rookies playing in front of you that's going to tell you something ain't it hey them rookies playing in front of them them boys some dogs now I don't care who the rookies guess what I done played in front of rookies drafted in the first round until I leave you not going to play unless I get Ty raised my hand and I'm tired you can come in but you not going to be to beat him out for this job. So wait your turn. Hey, think about what you just said.
1:04:34The rookie that's playing in front of him is much better than he is. And they add a little bit more value. So they brought Carter Bryant in.
1:04:42Shannon Sharpe:They bring in Sheldon, they bring Keldon in. They bringing everybody in besides you, bro. Bro, you were on a championship winning team as a key member.
1:04:53Chad Johnson:Hey, hey, he's there for another great veteran presence. presence, we'll throw you in. We'll throw you in at nine then. You know what I mean? If you making shots, hell, we'll keep you in. If they ain't making no shots, you gotta come over here and coach him.
1:05:10Shannon Sharpe:Oh, you know what? I know why he there. I know exactly why he there. Why he there? He's the interpreter. Because when they kick Wimby out, he explained to him. He didn't nobody else know what to do. He could understand, he could interpret for Wimby. That's why he there.
1:05:24Chad Johnson:Wimby say what that mean.
1:05:25Shannon Sharpe:When Wimby say what that mean. You got ejected. Who got me? They threw me out? Oh, okay. You say he explained it to him in French, huh? Yeah. Yeah. So that's what he done for. That's what he done for. Boy, look at this. Hey, that extension kicks in for Chet this season. now in 26 27 he'll make 41.3 44.6 47.9 51.2 and 54.5 for a grand total of 239.3 million dollars and he didn't get the escalators for making all nba had he made it that would have been an extra 45 on top of that you can't be scared of the moment huh that's all it is you can't be scared of the moment you got to take a shot shooters shooters keep shooting yeah at your height nobody should be able to do anything with you out there impose your will on whoever it is well joe oh cho if i go to the party man this party boy man these girls ain't nothing well how many you talk to i ain't talked enough that's why the party wasn't that so you thought they was just gonna come up you would just give you their number or ask you out yeah who did you talk to did you ask any of to dance did you ask any of them you know what's your name where you're from what you do yeah man i was just chilling man i was just okay yeah well let me tell you i had me a great old time yeah
1:06:53Chad Johnson:you hey you gotta assert yourself in there man hey as a matter of fact before they got the phone
1:06:58Shannon Sharpe:hey hey you heard what joe just said right what's that you gotta assert yourself You know what you got Joe you know what you have when you play what you know what you have what you play when you play confidence Confidence Confidence is all it takes in anything that you do if you got that you good He was not playing with confidence, which is why he only had two shots Man he played like how but guess what he played like comedy when he guard by DeAndre Ayton He's playing with comedy when he gone but God guarded guarded by Rui But then all of a sudden, that alien.
1:07:45Chad Johnson:Bro, I'm telling you, it was way too many times where he had a smaller guy switched on him. And he did nothing. He didn't try to duck in. He didn't try to get the mismatch. Okay, boy, I'm going to get the double team. I'm going to be able to swing, swing. We're going to have a wide over three on the weak side. bro it was just like he was just out there hold on joe when he did get the ball when he did get the ball on the picks on the switches he gave the ball up oh chloe the man he didn't even look at the guy excuse me i've been doing good without saying goddamn he didn't even look at the rim he didn't bro he's looking to pass and they didn't need they didn't need another damn pass They needed somebody to assert themselves.
1:08:31Shannon Sharpe:To go with Shea. To go with Shea, bro. To take some of that load off them.
1:08:35Chad Johnson:Yeah, yeah.
1:08:36Shannon Sharpe:Because that pace with that intensity, Joe, you thought Shea was going to be able to keep that up? Uh-uh. No. Those guys, they can run Castle at him. They can run Champagny at him. They can run Vassell at him. They can put Kelton Johnson on him. They can put Carter Bryant on him. They can go De 'Aaron Fox. So they got six guys. Now, maybe all don't defend them the same, or it's equally as well, but I got six guys I can throw at one.
1:09:03Chad Johnson:Yeah. Yeah.
1:09:05Shannon Sharpe:And – So he needed somebody to come up with – Hey, bro, hey, you know how it is. Hey, man, I'm getting ready to take a trip. I'm going over here, man, such and such. You want to roll with your boy? Gee, man, I ain't got nothing else to do. Yeah, hell yeah. Yeah. Hey, man, this is game seven, man. You know, I'm going to ball out. Anybody else want to roll out with me? Chet said, well, hey, let me find somebody that want to – Hey. Hey.
1:09:31Chad Johnson:Hey, you got to chill. You got to chill. You got to chill.
1:09:40Hey, Joe, once that confidence is shot, boy, it's hell getting it back, man.
1:09:46Chad Johnson:Man, Ocho. Back. I know what he looked when he played against the Lakers. Man, damn that. This game seven, these guys are proven winners. They've been in these situations before. They played a game seven, hell, in the finals last year. You know what I mean? I think. He didn't have to deal with that early. I get that. But once Shea got it going tonight and San Antonio started to switch up their defense, they started trapping him on the pick and rolls, making him get a ball up. Yeah. They were getting nothing when he was giving the ball up, bro. It's like he'll get a ball up some way, somehow. It'll find its way right back to him.
1:10:25Chad Johnson:When, damn, y 'all playing a four on three? We got to be able to get something out of that. Bro, they wasn't getting nothing out of those when they started, when San Antonio started putting that double team on Shea, they was not getting no easy buck. It seemed like every point that OKC had to come by, they had to work extra hard. And then you come down, boom, Champagne for three, Harper for three, Fox for three. They were scoring their will.
1:10:57Shannon Sharpe:Hey, that's embarrassing. I told that about Shea looking for somebody to come along with me and Chet said, let me go find somebody, because that actually happened. We was in a game one time, and we needed a defensive lineman to go in there on PAT. Yeah. And a D lineman was standing right next to him. Coach said, God damn, we need a D lineman. He said, hey, hey, we need a D lineman. He a D lineman standing right next to Coach. Coach said, God damn, we need a D lineman to get in there. He's like, hey, Coach said we need a D lineman. He said, damn, damn, I ain't going in there.
1:11:38Shannon Sharpe:It's stuff like that, Joe, that you know what? If you weren't there, you wouldn't believe somebody like you. Hey, get it. Nah, nah, that ain't for me. He meant somebody other than me.
1:11:50Chad Johnson:Right, right.
1:11:51Shannon Sharpe:Julian Champagne, game seven, 20.6 rebound. He was 6 of 10 from the three-pointer. That's the most threes by Spurs in a game seven. Damn. Spurs, excuse me, in a game seven. Players to make over five threes in a conference final game. Splash Bros, Steph, and Klay. Now, Champini joins that list. Every big three, bro, he answered every bell, every call that the Thunder put out, he answered it.
1:12:22Chad Johnson:Yeah.
1:12:22Shannon Sharpe:With a three of his own.
1:12:24Chad Johnson:He did, bro.
1:12:24Shannon Sharpe:Hey, and Shea hit a tough – man, Shea hit one three. He was falling to his left.
1:12:30Chad Johnson:Hey, doing whatever.
1:12:32Shannon Sharpe:Jason Wallace. Hey, and the time running out. Jalen Williams let one go, Joe Anocho. He make it. Champagne says, and.
1:12:41Chad Johnson:Yeah. Right back at you.
1:12:43Shannon Sharpe:And. I ain't scared. Yeah.
1:12:47Chad Johnson:Hey, San Antonio showed me something, fellas. I'm going to be honest with you. I did not have them winning this game seven in OKC.
1:12:55Shannon Sharpe:Players with at least 125 points, 50 assists in the Western Conference Finals this century. Kobe, Russ, Shea, Stephon Castle. Again, Kobe, Russ, Shea, Stephon Castle.
