In short
Postgame discussion of the Warriors vs. Clippers playoff matchup, focusing on Golden State’s 126-121 win and what it means for their next round vs. Phoenix. The hosts also debate Kawhi Leonard’s Clippers tenure and assign him a grade (ultimately arguing between an F and a C).
Guests/backgrounds
The episode features two hosts only: “Uncle Ocho” (Chad Ochocinco Johnson) and “ISO Joe Johnson” (Joe Johnson). No additional guests appear in the transcript.
Key claims
- Steph Curry scored 27 of his 35 points in the second half, including a go-ahead 30-foot three with 50.4 seconds left.
- Draymond Green’s defense (notably on Kawhi) and late-game steals were pivotal.
- Al Horford hit big threes in the fourth; Porzingis contributed key rebounding/putbacks.
- The Clippers’ late turnovers after Steph’s big shot swung momentum.
- Kawhi’s Clippers era is graded poorly due to repeated early exits and injury issues.
Notable examples
- Kawhi: 8-of-17 shooting, 21 points, 1-of-6 from three; late fatigue discussed.
- Warriors: strong shooting efficiency (over 50% FG, over 40% from three) and collective rebounding despite being undersized.

4:18Shannon Sharpe:Well, guys, we had another barn burner tonight. Chef Steph came back, and he did not disappoint. An overall great game for the Warriors. 20 points from Guy Santos. That was the guy we were talking about last night, Joe. We couldn't remember his name. Al Horford gave you big production off the bench, big threes. But Zimski played extremely well. Draymond was Draymond sitting pricks, distributing the basketball. and they fight back and they win this game 126-121 for the right to face the Phoenix Suns to be the eighth seed and get bounced in four games versus the OKC Thunder. Y 'all know who I am.
4:52Shannon Sharpe:I'm your favorite Unc. That is my partner and co-host. Y 'all see him in the back. Y 'all see the backdrop in the back, uh, in the backdrop. That is the sphere over his, uh, right shoulder. Y 'all see it right there. That's, that's what that is. Come on, chill, chill, chill, chill. A seven-time NBA All-Star from the Atlanta Hawks, Little Rock, Arkansas native, University of Arkansas alum. That is ISO Joe Johnson.

Please drink responsibly and stay safe. The game that you just watched, the Warriors beat the Clippers by the score of 126-121. Stephen Curry and the Warriors survived and advanced.
6:36Shannon Sharpe:Steph scored 27 of his 35 points in the second half and with a go-ahead 30-foot three-point shot with 50.4 seconds remaining that gave them a three-point lead that they would not relinquish. The Clippers led for basically the entire of the game. Led by as many, I think as 12 as one point I looked up and saw, but they were not able to hold it. Big shot after big shot. Like I said, Al Horford was tremendous tonight. Big shot after big shot. Prazingis was big shot, rebounding the ball, put back dunks, doing a great job. But you know what it was. Steph Curry was Steph Curry. You know, last night, guys, when we say Steph Curry, excuse me, he's going to have more than 26 and a half points.
7:18Shannon Sharpe:Everybody in the chat, man, he been off. He been off. You should have took the under. I'm not taking under against that man. He's Chef Steph, the greatest shooter that we've ever seen. And you think he wasn't going to come to play? Yeah. With all those picks and all that running, he's going to be, you know what I'm saying, I mean, he played 36 minutes. And you're like, well, damn, this man done been off all this time. How is he able to run like that and get shots up like he does? Because, Joe, like you said, when you're shooting free throws, if you're tired, you're clanking. This man's shooting from 35 and making it after all that running.
7:50Shannon Sharpe:Joe, what did you like about the Warriors? How were they able to win this game, considering they were down as much as double figures for the entirety of the game, but somehow find a way to stay close and pull it out late in the ballgame. Man, Argon Ocho, just pedigree of a champion, man. Yeah. Those guys have seen pretty much everything, and they answered the bell. It didn't look good all game. I mean, I thought the Clippers had the momentum pretty much the whole entire game until, you know, Steph seemed like he got his second win because it seemed like it took him a little while to kind of get started.
8:23Shannon Sharpe:But once he got it going, you could not turn him off. And we always talk about, you know, these megastars having great games and they have to bring guys along with them. You know, Al Horford came along for the ride. Porzingis came along for the ride. Pye came along for the ride. And Draymond. Hell, Draymond, I thought he was probably the biggest difference, especially in that fourth quarter. The job that he did on Kawhi. That's what you got to talk about. Kawhi is probably going to be a first-team all-NBA selection. What he did on Kawhi, Kawhi was the night, what, 8 of 17, 21 points, one of six from the three.
8:59Shannon Sharpe:He did a tremendous job. Remember, they were about to get a five-second. He stole the ball. Pot ended up getting an and one because the goaltending. And then he stole the ball again the next possession down. Draymond was defensively, they did an unbelievable job on Kawhi tonight. Go ahead, Joe. And you have to have guys. Okay, Ocho, who ain't scared to take the challenge? You know what I mean? Yes. And Draymond, he understands how great Kawhi is, but he took the challenge tonight to sit down in that chair, be disruptive, deny him the basketball. And then when he did catch the basketball, I thought he played great defense.
9:35Shannon Sharpe:He got the steal late, picked his pocket. Man, look, the Warriors, they look good. Once Steph kind of got it going, Al hit them three threes in a row. I said, oh, whoa. Yeah, Al turned back the head of the time. You see, hey, my boy Al, he got it going there in that fourth quarter. It was fun to watch. Both teams played great, Unk. They both shot over 50 % from the field, over 40 % from three. I thought this was great championship-caliber playoff-type basketball. But I tell you what, Joe, they messed around. If they had pieces and they could trade for Giannis, the way they could shoot the basketball and the way Giannis would occupy so much lane time that you couldn't slough off, they'd be right back in the mix.
10:20Shannon Sharpe:Go ahead, Joe. Go ahead, Joe. One thing, one thing, one thing. The thing is, if you add Giannis to that, because you're going to have to probably give up what, Draymond? Yeah, they don't want to give up that. He's such an emotional leader, Uncle Ocho, and you see what he does defensively. It ain't a lot of guys, though, who want to do the dirty work in the league. I'm just going to keep it 100. Yeah. You're right. It's the dirty work, and he is the pulse, the heartbeat of that team. But, Joe, the screens, that behind-the-back pass, you remember, think about the pass. Yeah. Steph had the ball. He gave it to Draymond.
10:54Shannon Sharpe:Draymond went behind his back. Steph, boot, boot, Steph, away from Brooke Lopez, out of bounds from 30. There are not very many guys. They have such a rapport. It's like Carson and Ocho. It's like me and Elway. It's like Mahomes and Kelsey. A quarterback and a receiver, they see things. They know things because they have that type of relationship. He doesn't have that relationship with anybody else. Yeah, guys can sit picks. Alex can sit picks for him. Pod sits picks for him. Santos sits picks. But it's not like Draymond. Because Draymond knows everything. Draymond knows when he goes away, he'll be right back.
11:31Shannon Sharpe:Don't worry about it. I'm going to dribble right here because he's coming right back. Yeah, that chemistry and continuity, man, you can't. It's hard to substitute for that. Because a lot of the times when Draymond has the ball, his man ain't going to be up on him close. No, no. You know what I mean? So he knows that he's so smart and cerebral that he's like, okay, boom. Whenever I got the ball, I'm just looking to set a pick. Bro, you come off my side, you're going to be open. You can do as many loop-to-loops as you want to. I'm going to be waiting for you to come around the block. Yes. Yeah, they got chemistry and continuity that you can't teach, for real.
12:01Shannon Sharpe:And they do a lot of dribble handoff. And then just when you think Draymond going to hand it off to Steph, guess what he'll do? He'll drive right to the basket and dunk it on you or lay it up. Because he got – because you know, you're like, okay, now I got a jump. I got a jump to get Steph. Yeah. Okay. Draymond said, nah, I'm going to keep it this time. Go ahead, Ocho. Hey, you know what? First off, I'm going to be honest. When we talked about the game and the game coming up, I really thought the Clippers had this in hand. For one, Steph had missed so much time. I thought when he did come back, he would be rusty.
12:30He wouldn't be as efficient as he normally is. Obviously, the game starts playing. I'm thinking, okay, well, goddamn, the Clippers got Kawhi. They got Garland. They should be able to handle a goddamn Warriors team that might be a little rusty, might be a little off, because Steph hasn't played. And obviously, listen, they fooled me. That goddamn Steph. Obviously, the Warriors being a team that is familiar with situations like this in big games. And that goddamn Steph, them boys was down the whole goddamn game. I don't know what happened. Now, when you talk about a second win, Joe and Unc, you know, I'm thinking boxing.
13:06You know, you get to round seven, eight. You get to the championship rounds. And all of a sudden, you catch that second win. And hell, it's do or die. And I think Steph Curry being familiar with situations like that, when we got to have it, because if we don't have it, you know we're going. Chef, yeah, you know he's taking it.
13:26Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. You say that second way, and anybody that's done cardio, you know sometimes you be 10, 15 minutes in, and you feel like ish. And then all of a sudden you get to 20 minutes in, and you're like, God, what happened? Like somebody's grabbed a jet pack on your back. Yeah, I don't know why that happened. I don't know either. I don't know either. I mean, sometimes I'm like that. I'm like, damn, boy, this thing feels. And I was like, okay, let me get five more minutes. Let me get five more minutes. And all of a sudden, my turnover starts to pick up. My breathing all of a sudden is more under control.
13:59Shannon Sharpe:And the next thing you know, I'm 30, 40 minutes in. I'm like, okay, now this is how I'm supposed to feel. I don't give a damn what you say. A team that shoots as many jump shots is the Golden State Warriors. You can't let them shoot 57%, Joe. No, you can't. That's a jump shooting team. Yeah, they got a couple of layoffs. But look, they shot 41-3. They made 19. You can't let them shoot that kind of percentage. Don't let them shoot 47. Hey, you say let. You couldn't stop them. But I'm saying, if you let a team that's private, they ain't got no big. Who the hell they posted up? Them guys shooting the ball.
14:38Shannon Sharpe:At some point, I'm like, well, damn. I think when you look at it, you know, Golden State has crafty guards. Pods is crafty. Steph Curry is very crafty. And they was in the teeth of their defense the whole night. Okay, Ojo, you know, in basketball, if you got guys who can get in the paint and touch that paint every time, get paint touches, and spray out for three, or get easy, dump off. I feel like that's what Golden State done the whole night. They outworked the Clippers to me. You know what I mean? They played harder. They seemed like they wanted it more, especially down the stretch. And Steph just put them on his back.
15:17Shannon Sharpe:Obviously, scoring the ball, but just making the right plays as well. Al stepping up big, like I said, knocking down them threes. Man, that was a huge win for them guys, man, considering everything that they done went through this whole entire season, you know, to now try and get healthy and try and make a playoff spot. It's going to be tough if they do even get in that A spot, though. It's going to be tough. so hey hey be tough hold on be tough for what it's gonna be i'm saying if they make the ace by hell they oh you like oh so you like you like them on okc man no no sir oh but you said they can get a game i ain't even saying that i'm saying it's gonna be tough what you say it's gonna be hold on hold on oh it's gonna be tough on them yeah it's gonna be oh oh okay they do i said correct it hey they do all this fighting and wrestling right now and then you finna have the fighting wrestles on Friday.
16:09Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. By the time you play OKC, they've been wrestling for two weeks. Boy, they're going to run a circle. Yeah, and that means they would have them on Sunday. Yeah, hey, so all three of us can agree that if they do get the A season and have to face OKC, it's going to be a gentleman's sweep, right? Well, they got to go into Phoenix and beat Phoenix. What do we think about that matchup? I'm like Golden State. Look, we already know what Dylan Brooks going to try to do. He's going to try to be physical with Steph. He's going to try to get in his head. He's going to be clapping. He's going to be doing all that other stuff.
16:48Shannon Sharpe:Man, look, when you this many years in the league like Steph, Steph done seen it all. Yeah. From Lance Stevenson to all these other guys that's been along, that's come along. That same way. Yeah, yeah. That don't bother Steph. I don't know. I ain't going to lie to you. Y 'all, you know, I enjoyed the performance tonight, but I ain't going to get ahead of myself with this game they got against Phoenix. Hey, hey, we got to give, you know, obviously get a voice from creative. I thought Kawhi looked great early. It seemed like he got tired. I don't think he played 40 minutes the whole season. Okay, Ocho, I think he eclipsed.
17:28Shannon Sharpe:Unless they quit overtime. I'm sure he eclipsed 40 minutes tonight. I think they had a lot of do. He played 40 on the head. He played 40, 40 on the head. Yeah, I think they had a lot to do with him being a little fatigued down the stretch, if you just want me to be honest. If you think about it, Joe, they have these big leads. When Kawhi go to the bench, they give it all back. Yeah. So now that's the thing. So now I've got the breath. I can't give him his normal four minutes, five-minute rest because they're digging into a lead. Copenhagen's spit-free packs American-grown tobacco into pouches.

And damn, they close the goddamn gap and you have no choice but to put your starters back in because you ain't got no fucking depth.
21:49Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, it's like when Kawhi ain't in the game, it's like the Clippers really don't have a rhyme or reason to what it is they're doing. You know what I mean? Yeah, I know Garland can get to his spots, but for the most part, man, I ain't never... It was a lot of... Hey, look, I know they made a lot of shots, but, boy, it was a show a lot of ill-advised shots tonight. That's what drives me crazy, Joe. I'm like, bro, come on. So I'm sitting here watching. I'm like, even from, I thought, you know, Brooke Lopez gave him great minutes. He played well, and that's my guy. You know what I mean? But I think with his size, though, he probably should have done a little bit more damage, you know, in the post.
22:32Shannon Sharpe:I mean, him going one for six from three. I just think, man, the three-point, guys just fall in love with three so much, man. All you have to do is take a step or two in. You can get an easier shot. Kawhi, one for six from three. Derrick Jones, one from four. Brooke Lopez, one for six. Chris Dunn, one for two. Darius Garland, two for four. That's from the three.
22:57Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, they were perfect from the free throw line. And you know what I think is? What I've always found amazing about the Warriors, about how good a rebounding team they are to be so undersized. Yeah. You know why? Because shooting three, you don't know where the ball is going to go off. and they them quick jokers go get it. That's what I mean. You look at them like, oh, man. Man, you should kill them on the – and every damn near every year, they wanted a better rebounding team. That's because they gain rebound, you know, as a unit. They ain't looking for one player to go get 15 boards. They all going to have about six to eight to nine rebounds, you know, even the guards.
23:38Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. And I think that definitely helps them out a lot, especially in like transition when guards get the rebound, Uncle Ocho. That's like a fast break. You pushing it out, get on the break quick. And you know you got to find them shooters. So they always going to have space to be able to get in the paint, create, and cause havoc. And that's pretty much what they did tonight. Yeah. What you call them? And the turnovers, I mean, and Golden State was sloppy. Golden State had not had 20 turnovers. the Clippers only had 17 but it's when they had the turnovers you saw Joe and Ocho you saw they had like 3 or 4 really late in the ball game they had back to back turnovers after Steph hit the 3 guess what they get a steal now it's a 5 point game now guess what Kawhi bring the ball up Draymond strip him again yeah this is what I tell people it's like all turnovers aren't created equal A quarterback throws an interception in the first quarter.
Read the full transcript
24:39Shannon Sharpe:It ain't the same if he throws an interception with two minutes left in the ball game in the fourth. So you're like, well, but they only had 17. The other team had 20. Okay, that's 17. So how did they get to that number 17? Look at the last three to four turnovers when they took place. Yeah, they were crucial. That was really the difference in the ball game. Yeah, those are crucial mistakes. You got to be able to execute. You got to be able to execute in those moments. And they were very uncharacteristic for the Clippers, too, because you don't dare. I mean, especially Kawhi and those late game situations.
25:09Shannon Sharpe:Yes. You know, that's why I can, I mean, I look at like the fatigue or, you know, we always talk about how the game is ramped up to another level when we get in the postseason and the playoffs. Yeah. And a lot could have had to do with, you know, Kawhi, especially down the stretch with him being a little tired, playing all the minutes. I just feel like, man, Draymond done a hell of a job. I can't hold you on that full quarter. Getting him tired. Oh, man, I'm talking about this. And maybe that's what it was, Joe. Maybe that's what, you know, because a lot of times you start to make mistakes when you get tired.
25:46Shannon Sharpe:The mind starts to drift. You know, all of a sudden you do uncharacteristic things. You see? Yeah. Draymond's still in there shaking everybody's hand in the arena. Is he? He's still.
26:02Shannon Sharpe:Man, Draymond. man, I'm going to have to go see a game because I hear the arena is very, very nice. You talking about their new arena? Yes. The Warriors? No, no, no. Oh, the Clippers. Clippers. Yeah, I heard it was nice too. Yeah, yeah. What do you think about going? Ain't no going over this year, Ocho. I mean, we can go in October, November. It's over for them. Ain't no more Ain't no more going this year. Okay. And, you know, look, T. Lou, my guy. Yeah. And I kind of wanted to see him. I kind of wanted to see him where I'm in, but he just can't get no – he just can't. I mean, Kawhi, when they had great opportunities, Kawhi get injured, and boom, PG got injured.
26:57Shannon Sharpe:PG could never stay healthy. Kawhi got injured, and that was it. Because you pinned all your hopes. You pinned all your hopes on those two guys, and those two guys were the least healthiest, and they're your best players. Yeah, yeah. And it's just hard to overcome. Yeah. And because you've given up so much, how do you build a team? How do you build a team? You're going to have to do something with Kawhi. You're probably going to have to stay in Kawhi. You're probably going to give Kawhi another three-year deal, $40,$45 million a year, Joe. Or do you go ahead and trade him or try to get some assets for him?
27:35Shannon Sharpe:Whoa, whoa, whoa. Come on, Joe. You don't want to set yourself back, man. The problem is, I see what you're saying, Joe. But who going to come? I mean, it's hard enough to get people to come to that arena because it's so high. So who are you going to trade him for that people want? You know this is a superstar league, Joe. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I don't care what. They ain't coming to see no randoms. no it ain't coming but i ain't coming to see no randoms but if you go get you one of the young phenoms you know what i mean like kawaii got a lot of value on to where he could help a championship caliber team yes you know what i mean most times guys ain't teams that aren't willing to get off given his history yeah and given how many games he's gonna potentially now this year he played you know once he got back he played joe yeah but his history so what are we what are we making on We're looking at a guy that's, what, 35, 34, 35?
28:31With his injury history, do we believe he'll be more or less healthy moving forward?
28:40Shannon Sharpe:He'll probably be less, but I think you have to have great maintenance as far as, like, minutes restricting-wise. You know what I mean? Yeah. You know, keep him in the low 30s, you know, to where he can, you know, finish out the season finish out the season for you. I just think playing tonight, 40 plus minutes, bro, that's going to be hard on the body when you ain't had to rev it up like that. That's all I be saying. Yeah. But the thing is, teams are very reluctant to give up them young star players. And Joe, when you think about it, right? You think about the Clippers. Let's say you do let Kawhi go.
29:18Then when you get that production that he gives you every night, when he's not hurt, when he's not injured, I understand we got a phenom. I ain't seen no phenoms like that. You know, in the ones. Well, hopefully, Joe, I know you're hoping.
29:30Shannon Sharpe:You're hoping you get you a shake. Yeah. Because when they gave up PG and OKC, what did they say? Where you going to get that production from? Yeah. Remember, PG was just in the running for MVP. Yeah. PG averaged like 28 points a game. And, you know, hey, Joe. What's happening? But the ones that are the phenoms, you know they're going to be gone, huh? I mean, it just depends. I think if you wait to after the draft, maybe you can package something like that. I don't know, man. I'm just saying, like, he still got a lot of, you know, good basketball left in him. And I don't think the clip is going nowhere.
30:08Shannon Sharpe:I'm just going to be honest with y 'all. I don't think they are either. It wasn't Kawhi. It was Paul George. It was what they had to give up to get Paul George. That was the reason. Yeah. Think about what you gave up to get him. Think about what you gave up and you still gave. You gave away and you gave up. You gave away potentially, but he got a chance. There's a 98 % chance he's going to be a two-time league MVP. There's a chance he'll be a two-time finals MVP. And you gave him up at the ripe age of 20, 22, tops. And then he wasn't able to stay healthy. If he could have stayed healthy when Kawhi was out, you might have could have.
30:53Shannon Sharpe:Okay. But then guess what? Both of them are out. Now what do we do? Both. B-O-A-F. Both. We're out. Now what we do? What we do now, Joe? Well, hey, look. That's why other guys got to step up in these opportunities. You ain't losing your two best players. So let me ask you a question. You believe Boston the number two seed if they lose Jalen Brown and JT? Well, listen. what about what about what about the Lakers losing A.R. and Luka? No they lost they lost they lost them after this situation so if they let's just say Luka and A.R. missed 55 games you think they did the fourth seed? They don't know that's what I'm saying so you say some other guys got to step up you're not losing your two best players I don't give it I don't care who it is you take any two best players off any team They not winning.
31:48Shannon Sharpe:They probably – Murray and Jokic, you take B.I. and you take Scottie Barnes, you take Cat and you take Brunson. Any two players you want, you take the two best players off any team, you believe they're going to make the playoffs? No, no. Not that they missed a significant amount of time to work. Right. And then think about what Kawhi was missing. Remember, Kawhi missed the whole season. Yeah. and he did he low manage Joe he missing 25-30 games they knew that coming into it he been low he been low managing since he been in San Antonio he has but I think the thing is they were okay with the low managing they just I mean if you think about it they went in the game and he steal the ball he go for a layup and he tears ACL Joe Yeah, I know.
32:42Shannon Sharpe:I can't plan for that. I mean, he had buzzed look. Yeah. Listen, I still think it'll be a team out there who will take a chance on trying to get him out. I don't know if they'll give up. I'm not giving up a whole lot for a guy. How old is Kawhi? 35?
33:06Shannon Sharpe:Kawhi was a rookie with LeBron in 2014. so 34 okay 34 year old Joe with an injury history
33:20hey
33:21Shannon Sharpe:look how he played towards the end of the season look at the numbers you do realize he missed like the first 20 games yeah I'm saying I said when he came back what he did but statistically this might be one this might be one of his best seasons it's not his best season It is his best season as far as scoring. I think I read a stat where he's the first guy in year 14 or later to have a career best scoring year. It's funny how that works, huh? Yeah. Timing everything. And understanding. Knowing that you might not be there. So what I'm going to do, I'm going to go out here and put up one of my best performances the rest of the season when I do come back, just in case.
34:05Shannon Sharpe:Me, personally, I don't think they'll trade Kawhi. considering what they gave up to get him. I don't think he wants to go anywhere. I mean, look, he wanted to come to L.A. And basically, he wanted to come to L.A. And they thought they had him with the Lakers. And then at the last minute, you know, it's like, okay, I kind of want to, you know, L.A. is L.A. Yeah. I'm still going to be close. I'm still going to be close to San Diego. I think he has a place. And I ain't going to say where the man has a place. But anyway, he closed by. But you're like, Clippers. I'm in L.A.? Yeah. Let's see, okay, what y 'all willing to do, what y 'all got for your boy.
34:45Shannon Sharpe:Uncle Dennis went in there and said, you know, hey, boom, boom, boom, boom, hey, you know, hey, what you got for your boy? Hey, allegedly, supposedly, you know, Uncle Dennis, you know, I need a little something, something, too, you know. You know what I'm saying, Joe? Hey, you want to talk to my boy, Joe? Hey, let me get your girl number. You know what I'm saying? I'm going to hook that up. You hook this up. You know, I got to get somebody to deal. Yeah, yeah. Okay, play the game. It's tough. And the Clippers, man, I just don't know. And they had that great opportunity. When they got, they had so much promise.
35:18Shannon Sharpe:You remember it was, they came out there with the jerseys 2-1-3. Yeah. Because, you know, Kawhi was 2 and Paul George. That's the L.A. area code. You know what I'm saying? I'm like, okay. Look how they got that thing going. Hey. They ain't get it done, man. If they were on a championship, they would have been standing on top of L.A. If you win one championship, it was worth whatever you gave up to get it. If you win one, the Rams did the right thing. You know why? Because Matthew Stafford has already delivered them a championship. If he delivers them another one, great. But whatever you gave up to get him, it was worth it because you got a championship.
36:04Shannon Sharpe:And that guy is going to keep you in contention every single year because you got that guy. Kawhi is the type of guy that can keep you in contention. Just need a couple of other pieces. I mean, I like Darius Garland. He gets injured a lot. Yeah. I really like Mathren. I really like his aggressive. He can play. Yeah. I had him picked. I thought this year in Indiana, I thought with Hallenberg being out, I thought he would have been a potential all-star look, but obviously that didn't happen. He got traded to the Clippers. Hey, he hit tonight too, didn't he? Yeah, he had 23, 7-11, 5-6 from the three.
36:43Shannon Sharpe:I'm talking about on the prize picks. We had him. Yeah. Ben Carroll let us down. Everybody covered by Ben Carroll. I thought we hit, man. Hey, matter of fact, speaking of who hit and who didn't, hey, Joe, didn't we make a little bet? On what? You lost. I took Philly, partner. Huh? I took Philly if we bet it. Oh, no, I don't think we bet them.
37:13Shannon Sharpe:Bet that Ocho, man. He's up, man. I swear that you was up. I'm just making a show. You told me you wrote it down on your phone or something. Yeah, we got the Knicks, the Knicks and the Hawks. Okay, okay. Check this out. Kawhi, in 2020, he was eliminated in the second round. 2021, eliminated in the conference finals. 2022, eliminating the play-in. 2023, eliminating the first round. 24, first round. 25, first round. 26, play-in. What grade do you give Joe and Ocho?
37:47Shannon Sharpe:I'm going to give for what? This year? Are you saying over the past? Give Kawhi Clippers an error grade. What do you give him his Clippers error? I'll give him a... A B minus? B minus? My ass. What you giving? I'm saying. F. A F? He got eliminated in the second round. He made the conference finals once. The play-in tournament. Eliminating the first round. The first round. The first round. The play-in. You said this season? You said this season? I said give his Clippers era a grade. He's been there. I'm not going. I'm going to give him about a C. I'm going to give him a C. A C? Yeah, he can't do it by himself. His play ain't been terrible. Hell, he just been hurt. What? What? I mean, his counterparts have been hurt. You want him to carry the whole wagon by himself?
41:59Shannon Sharpe:He can't carry it. Okay, when they was in the bubble and they had that 3-1 lead, that should give them a less than a C by itself. Everybody was healthy. Kawhi was healthy. PG was healthy. Pat Babb was healthy. Everybody was healthy. 3-1 on Denver. That right there alone should do a number on him. Hold on. So, Unc, let me get this right, Don. So, you giving Kawhi a F. Based on his tenure, what grade could I give him? I mean. Because I got to grade you on what were the expectations versus what actually happened. well based on expectations depending on the team everybody would get an F then if that's the case everybody look here they didn't move heaven and earth to get everybody okay okay okay everybody wasn't a two-time finals MVP everybody wasn't a two-time defensive player of the year everybody isn't a top 75 player in the history of the in the history of the NBA he he have to be a guy See, that's the thing.
43:09Shannon Sharpe:People want to grade what? No, you have to grade certain players differently. Everybody doesn't get graded. I'm going to treat them all fair. But I ain't going to treat you all the same. Yeah. So let me ask you a question. Ocho, does everybody get treated like Kawhi? Does everybody have privileges like Kawhi? No, absolutely not. So why do we got to grade everybody the same then? A young bull has been a long wolf for a while out there. He's by himself now. Now, when you're doing the great And the play-in You lost the play-in on your home court
43:49Shannon Sharpe:Ain't none of my business I don't even know why I brought it up He ain't been to the I mean, let's see 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 So in seven years He's only made it to the conference finals Once He's only gone past the second round once. He's only gotten to the second round once. How long he been in LA? Seven years, since 2020. Joe, you trying to change your grade, Joe? He's been there. Actually, no. He's been there since 2019. Because 2019 is when it happened. He won the championship in Toronto in June of 2019. He signed with the Clippers in like July of 2019 and then led that season. Yeah, y 'all remember?
44:42Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. They thought why it was hot. Bring them to L.A., Paul George. They thought they were going to strike and get a chip out of them boys, but it didn't happen. I just, look, if he had gotten a championship, you can't give him anything but a thing. Right. So anything less than a championship, he gets the F. He got it. Hold on. Even if he doesn't get your championship, can we get there? Can we play in a couple of finals a couple of times? We can't keep going out in the first. He can eliminate in the play-in. Hey, look, he got to get some help. I mean, don't get me wrong. I thought James played great.
45:43Shannon Sharpe:He was an all-star.
45:48Shannon Sharpe:I guess all you don't want to talk about that. So when they had James Hart, Paul, George, and Kawhi, and they couldn't get out of the first round, now what we doing? Let me take this earpiece out so I can hear you. Speak into the microphone a little louder. You ain't say nothing. You laugh. I mean, I'm saying, hold on. Did we forget about that joke? Did you forget about James Harden was there? I didn't. Oh, okay. I'm just joking. And so now do you want to regrade? Are you grading on a curve? What are we doing? No, that's what I'm giving them. I'm giving them a C, man. I'm giving them a C. This man gave this man a C with James Harden, top 75 player.
46:26Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Dwight Leonard, top 75 player. An MVP. Wow. Y 'all would be ashamed of yourself. Hey, you couldn't have been no teacher, man. You couldn't have been no teacher. When it comes to grading papers, everybody in the goddamn class would have failed. I'm going to give you what you earned. Hey, listen. I don't give you what you deserve. I can't say, you know what? I thought he was going to be one of my best students. You know what? Let me grade him on a curve. Even though we had a 30-question test and he got 22 of them wrong, let me go and give him a C+. That's what Joe doing. Joe passing everybody, and can't nobody read, and they can't nobody ahead.
47:08Joe's factor. Also, Joe factor in the circumstances Kawhi had to deal with. Not only injury, not having anybody else to help. My thing is. So what was James Harden doing?
47:20Shannon Sharpe:What was James Harden doing? He did his part. He helped out. He pitched in. He pitched in. Whoa, whoa, whoa. So James Harden pitched in. You said James Harden did pitch in? Yeah. And you still? And he got, hold on, when James Harden was there, James Harden just left. So in 25, they got eliminated in the first round. In 24, they got eliminated in the first round. In 23, they got eliminated in the first round. If I'm not mistaken, James Harden was there all them years. Yeah. When did James, as a matter of fact, give me James Harden because I don't want to misspeak. Hey, them two-man bands over with, man.
47:56Shannon Sharpe:Them two-man bands, they over with. Well, they had three because they had PG. Oh, so now you're saying PG ain't that? But PG, you know, he was dealing with a lot of injuries. He didn't even really play that much for the Clippers, for real. He went to the Clippers in 23. Okay. And then he left in the season. This year? Yeah. So James got there in 23.
48:23Shannon Sharpe:First round. 24. First round. 25. First round. He left trade deadline this year. playing tournament. I'm just saying. Hey, Chad, now y 'all see how all these students get out here and they can't read or write. But, hey, listen, check this out, though. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Considering, listen to this, considering the way the Clippers started this year, you ain't even had them making a play-in. You wouldn't yet? You ain't think they were going to make no play-in? No, no. And they got that hot streak where they won, like, 23 or 25 or 26 ball game, got right back into the thick of it.
49:06Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Hold on. You know what? And I like this. I like that we're doing this now. So let's do the grade, too, even though they still playing. Excuse me. With Reeves and goddamn Luke out, what's LeBron's grade going to be when they get eliminated? Would it still be the same? Are we going to factor in? You want to grade LeBron's tenure at the Lakers? Yeah. Did they win a championship, yes or no? Yep. Are you counting the bubble? I'm just curious. They played it. Guess what? The Dodgers won the championship, and guess what they played? In the bubble. Fans won in the stadium. Guess who else? Everybody in 2020, guess why they won a championship?
49:53Shannon Sharpe:Was it a normal championship that they won, Joe? Baseball? basketball, football. So what about Tampa? Are we going to take away Tampa's? Because it was played under what circumstances, Ocho? How many fans showed up at the Super Bowl? Normally 75 ,000, 80 ,000. They had 7 ,000. So is it normal? I'm just curious. How we doing it? Hold on, hold on, hold on. Let's wait. Let's wait. Let's wait. I like the grading scale. I like the grading scale. So we're going to wait, you know, in that tenure. Hold on, hold on, hold on. This man just way to say, okay, without Reeves and without Luka, you do realize LeBron is the third option.
50:31Shannon Sharpe:He has to go back to the first option. I'm also factoring that Kawhi was the main option and had no help. In the playoffs, James Harden disappears. PG is... Whoa! Whoa! He's by himself. He's by himself. What you think the likelihood is... Go ahead, Joe. Go ahead and make your point. And LeBron ain't no third option neither. He just played that role because he had missed significant time. And when he came back, they were clicking on all cylinders. You know that man ain't no third option, man. He's not normally. But what was he on this team this year, Joe? He just played the role. He just played that role.
51:09Shannon Sharpe:Look, what role is he playing now? Obviously, he's been thrusting this role, but he's back at this comfortable position. He's back at the... Joe,
51:21Shannon Sharpe:whether you a fool, if you play a fool, whether you want or not, What are you? Oh, two. Man, that joke will play. That's why you got to be careful who you're arguing with. Because if you argue with a fool and people walk up and hear you two argue, they don't know which one is the fool. They don't say one is a fool, the other is a bigger fool or a damn fool. But we just know we got two fools arguing. So I just try to figure out. I just try to figure out where y 'all be so leading. That's why I'm glad. That's why I'm glad y 'all ain't no teachers. Can we pass everybody? Huh? Because we passed everybody.
52:00Shannon Sharpe:Oh, yeah, you already know Joe passing everybody. Joe give an open book test every day. Yeah, I ain't trying to flunk nobody. I'm going to be honest. I want you to go and get on. I don't want to see you. Joe, I didn't flunk you. You did that. By not studying. By not doing your homework. By not turning your assignments in. I give the assignments. You do the assignment. I grade it. You don't turn it in. The assignment is wrong. I don't know what you expect me to do. Oh, because he ain't bad, though. Yeah, did they bring a championship? No. But considering the fact that when the man did play, the man put up numbers.
52:34Shannon Sharpe:Now, the team around him, were they good enough to win the title? Obviously not. But I can't say I ain't giving the man no F. I'm about to say, okay, all I'm going to ask you is this. When they had a 3-1 lead and Kawhi was healthy, PG was healthy, everybody was healthy. What you gave them on that one? Hey, man, they ran into a hell of a team. Damn! Oh, hold on. That hell of a team, that old Go James, the team that beat them, Go James, the gentleman swept them, you talking about that one? Yeah, a hell of a team. They were a hell of a team. Yeah, they ran into a hell of a team, man. Like them old folks here say, well, I'll be a monkey's uncle.
53:24Shannon Sharpe:Look, it's tough because you're grading him against what he did based on what the expectations were when he arrived. Because this was supposed to be a different Clippers team. As a matter of fact, you heard it. The Clippers had taken over the Lakers. I remember the first night Kawhi got there. There were people on television saying Kawhi Leonard made LeBron James look old. That this was Kawhi town. Y 'all heard it? I ain't making it up. Hey, they had the Lakers number for a while now. Until LeBron said, you know what, enough of this. And you remember what LeBron did to him? Hey, as a matter of fact, he did a number on Milwaukee.
54:13Shannon Sharpe:He put that thing on Giannis on a Friday and then came home that Sunday and took the game over. Yeah, I remember that. I remember that. I remember that. And from that time on, LeBron didn't look back. Yeah. I mean, he pulled up in his low rider, feed me. He got the crown. Yeah, didn't think I saw that. On the rear view movie, he had a crown. He had LeBron crown. He dangling. You saw it too. Ocho saw it. Joe, you saw it. they talk about Kauai Town yeah I know about Chinatown Korea Town I don't know nothing about Kauai Town I'm like well they're big deal hey they put they're putting the Lakers over they lap spanking them boys until it mattered until LeBron said enough of this until just like this year what he do you remember you remember Joe what happened this year what happened this year pull up LeBron number last time they played him he had like 30 something did a number on him, they were down and LeBron said you know what they got these people out here, these people got me bent yeah you better stop it and think about it Ocho got a senior citizen in class trying to get, and talking about what grade you gonna get the man 41 we're not gonna use that we cannot use 41 as an excuse.
55:41He's still playing. You do that all the time. Huh? You use that all the time. No, no, I don't. I don't. We just can't use that as an excuse.
55:51Shannon Sharpe:I tell you, hold on. He's still playing. He's 23. I remember we couldn't give him nothing in year seven at 34. So LeBron James 34. He's 41 now. That was seven years ago? Yeah. That put him around 20, that'll put him around 2017?
56:14Shannon Sharpe:2016. 2016, he was leading the team to a championship at 34. The first man in NBA history to lead every, both teams in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocked shots. And had a triple-double in Game 7. You talk about the chosen one. You talk about the king, right? I'm saying at the same age at the same age than what you're talking about. Are we trying to compare Kawhi? Whoa. Hey, Joe, usually were they not saying at a time that Kawhi was better than LeBron? Did you hear that too, Joe? Did you hear that? At one point. Who said that, Joe? Who said that? Who said that? I think when Kawhi got bogged down with them injuries, you know, that kind of, that weighed heavy on him.
57:08Shannon Sharpe:And, you know, LeBron ain't really had no real injuries like that. Nah. He got, he got, I think his foot one year. Hold on, when did LeBron, hold on. LeBron got to, LeBron got to the Lakers. They lost that championship in 2018, and LeBron ended up going to the Lakers in 2018. In the summer of 2018, LeBron went there. So 2019, they ended up getting AD. LeBron led the league in assists. 25, 10, and 7 Yeah Yeah, he did that And he was the oldest man When he first got to LA First two years He was the oldest guy To have 27, 8, and 8 Nobody else had ever done that After the age of 30 Big old Jordan Russ Everybody did it before 30 He did it after the age of 30 I don't even know why I brought that up.
58:06Shannon Sharpe:That ain't even none of my business. Hey, look, we already know he a bad man. We ain't even – it ain't no discrepancies over here. I already know. And we talking about 41, Joe? Yeah, it's impressive. It's impressive to still see him play at this high level. That's why I'm excited to see what he going to do this weekend. Well, how about this here? What if we give Kawhi incomplete? Incomplete? Yeah, let's see what he get incomplete. If he stayed there a couple more years and get a championship, Yep. Let's just say it's incomplete. Hold on. If he going to get a championship, it's not going to be in L.A.
58:40Huh? It's not going to be in L.A.? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Unless he go to the Lakers. Oh.
58:47Shannon Sharpe:Wait. But LeBron won't still be there, though. You don't know. Hey, look. LeBron knows that more than likely, if he wants to make big-time money, he's going to probably. 1:02:36Shannon Sharpe:Download the Moto Casino app today. I'm going to have to go somewhere and the chance of winning a championship isn't that good. No. I think LeBron knows that. When they didn't give him that extension, because normally, Joe, they normally give him a, okay, we got another one plus one. Yeah. When he had to play this, because normally, when LeBron plays the contract out,
1:03:02Shannon Sharpe:he looking to move. What did he do in Cleveland the first time? Played the contract out, he dipped. What did he do in Miami? Played the contract out, he dipped. What did he do the second time in Cleveland? Play the contract out, he did. Every time in L.A., it was two plus one. When he got to the plus one, he always signed an extension. This was the first time that it wasn't in his hand. So what you're thinking? So what's the move going to be this summer? It's hard for me to see him leaving L.A. because he's playing with his son, and I think a lot of people take that for granted. You know what I mean?
1:03:39Shannon Sharpe:But I think that's an amazing feat. I enjoy watching them on the floor together, despite what everybody else may think. And Bronny getting better, Joe. He is, man. Bronny getting better. He is. Confidence. You know what? Confidence is something else, especially in professional sports. I know for sure in the NBA. It's everything. And once you gain that confidence to where you know you belong, Uncle Ocho, you start to become a different player, bro. Yeah. Your approach to the game, the way you move on the court, it's just... Yeah, it's just right. The way you walk, the way you carry yourself. You know I'm a bad man.
1:04:14Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, it's like confidence just oozes out of you. You know what I mean? And I think Bronny is definitely getting a, like, I think the absence with AR and Luka has kind of thrust him, has thrust JJ Reddick to have to kind of play him. You know what I mean? And, you know, he's been decent in his minutes. And I think he'll continue to get better. Yeah. If you notice, Joe, early in the year, he was getting those shots. He would drive the ball, kick it. now he get that ball he pulling up you know what that is though and he's shooting it with confidence yeah hey you know you know what joe and hunk what's that based on lebron's history on what he's done in cleveland what he's done in miami what he's done when he went back to cleveland and then obviously being in la this year not doing that extension and joe you mentioned the feet of being able to play you know with your son yeah now he's done that already he's done already.
1:05:09Now there's one place and there's one player in the NBA that LeBron has always said he wanted to play with. Who? And that will probably be where he would be next year. Right down the road, not that far from L.A. In Golden State? Yeah.
1:05:24Shannon Sharpe:Well, San Francisco, a nice little hump from L.A., but I get your point. I don't see that. I don't see that. I don't see it. Man, they got a lot of money tied up in guys that's kind of hurt, Ocho. You know what I mean? I don't know how Oh, you're talking about Jimmy and, you know, Moses. He got a nice – he got a nice – Moses ain't – without Patella telling him he ain't coming. Hey, you remember Sean Livingston had that? You remember how long it took Sean Livingston to come back, Joe? Yeah, he was a gruesome, though. Yes. You saw Moody had that indentation in his knee? I was like, oh, man. Ooh.
1:06:06Shannon Sharpe:But, hey, they got to reattach that thing. Yeah. That's a gruesome injury to overcome. Damn. That might be worse than the Achilles. You're probably right. I think you're probably right. What Brother Livingston did? How did it happen? Well, he tore everything in his needle. Yeah. It was bad. You had to look it up. I can't even. No, I can't see that. He didn't even talk about it, boy. It was in-game? Yeah, yeah, it was in-game. Hey, but speaking of Bronny, kind of jumping back on Bronny, you know what I think has helped him? What's that? Not only is he getting minutes, but they kept sending him to the G League down there.
1:06:50Shannon Sharpe:He's been playing, and, you know, he's been thriving, and I think that kind of, you know, he's kind of asserted himself a little bit to where he's played with a lot more confidence when they do put him in the game for the Lakers. So this is going to be a big series. Joe say, a ruptured Achilles tendon is generally considered worse than a patella tendon injury, often being described as the hardest injury to overcome for an athlete, as discussed. While both cause a significant dysfunction, an Achilles tear often leads to more significant long-term loss of explosive speed, jumping ability, whereas patella involves intense pain and severe knee instability.
1:07:30she just is like which is which is worse getting run over by a dump truck or a mac truck
1:07:37Shannon Sharpe:because what happens is that because you're in that boot so long you have atropies yeah now you're not able to now you're not able to get up but on the patella joe yeah hey i gotta deal with this knee tendinitis ain't nothing worse than that patella that patella tendinitis man boy hey listen you talking you talking to somebody who know you got to hey yes you got to stay in that split to keep your legs straight for two months, bro. I'm talking about two months. It's hard to take a shower, it's hard to do any of that. Yeah! Yeah, yeah. You had to get, hey, cause you know when you got engine, Ocho, I don't know if you had it, we had them big old bands, leather thing, plastic thing, and then we put, tape it up, so you don't get it wet, you don't get the cast, so you don't get the, you know, whatever it is, you don't get it wet.
1:08:23Shannon Sharpe:But it's hard, because like when you at the facility, you got all the showers to yourself. Now, Joe, you know, Joe got that big old space probably like this here with a shower. Got about four, five shower heads up in there. Joe, you know what I'm saying? Probably coming off there like Lake Victoria. With that big shower head. Yeah, I got that big shower. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They be cascading if they want to be beating up. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, Uncle Joe. What's that? as bad as that injury is and being worse than Achilles with the advancement of technology and as good as it is now when it comes to therapy and rehab you think it's still the recovery time for that is still as bad as it used to be you see guys coming back you see guys coming back from an Achilles look at Tatum he back in 10 months but them dudes doing round the clock work though Yes, they had hyperbaric chambers and all that stuff.
1:09:24Shannon Sharpe:They're doing everything. They're doing infrared, and they're doing all that stuff. They didn't have that therapy back then. Yeah, the guy at the YMCA, he is insurance. Oh, he's done. Oh, he does. Insurance is only going to pay for two weeks, two days after week. He got 20 sessions. He go twice a week, he got 20 sessions. I'm just telling you. Now, if your PT is really good, you got some really good insurance, they might give you an extra six weeks. Yeah, yeah. Now, if you want it out after that, you got to pay for it. Probably somewhere between$800 and$1 ,200 a session. Yeah. Yeah, damn. Yeah.
1:10:00Shannon Sharpe:Hey, them little two days after week ain't enough, though. I'm going to keep it real. That's why if you ain't doing nothing on your own, bro, it's going to be hard for you to get back. Meaning, like, it's kind of like guys who are only willing to get better when they go to practice. It means if you ain't doing nothing on your own, you ain't going to be that damn good. It's the same thing with PT. if I'm only looking to strengthen my knee when I go to physical therapy it's going to take me forever to get back boy I did them hip joke I got home at 1.30 2.30 I was walking in the yard I was walking around the yard I had my walker I mean I was walking in the yard at first and everybody was stopping and talking like man I thought that was you let me take my ass back and say hey hold on you were doped up though no no they just gave me anesthesia so I don't take no pain I don't do no pain pills man I don't have no major surgery you don't do no nope cause it called constipation and I don't want to be dealing with that even though I got that chocolate milk and apple remedy to go and get me right yeah the man who buys himself and has you stopped up but ain't no way boy I was so doped up I'm like you though I got out the car on my own my lady like boy you need to cause you know she was on me about that You know what I mean?
1:11:18Shannon Sharpe:I like to walk around. I mean, I don't like to be bed bound. You know what I mean? Man, that's the worst thing in the world, bro. Yeah. And probably about...
1:11:33Shannon Sharpe:Probably like in 10 days, man, I was walking tight. I mean, I was walking a Tonka man. Man, look. He was off leash. I mean, because I didn't want to run the risk of him jerking me. But I let him walk out, walking around the neighborhood. hey here for a while bring me that pain medicine cause look no no no no that thing babe but like I said I mean the pain medicine have you stopped up so I wasn't doing that but even though I got like if I did take some I get me like a glass or two of chocolate milk or some apple pills yeah I'd be hog chillin' clean oh oh hey you know how you cranking them new cars up and that water come out the tailpipe you know that thing yeah that'd be hey nice and clean Yeah, man.
1:12:18Shannon Sharpe:Like somebody smashed a pumpkin in the toilet. Man, ain't no way. Boy, ain't that pain wake you up in the middle of the night because you ain't took the meds. Boy, hey, you rocking it. I couldn't do it, Joe. What? And then I ended up having an allergic reaction to the medicine that they did give me. I ended up having to go to UCLA Medical. I don't remember you saying that. Nah, I ain't. Aw, man, I broke out with hives, Joe, man. My throat started closing up, and I couldn't be short as a breath. Yeah, nah, hey, hey, hey, treat me like I'm in the hospital. If I'm knocked out, just show me, wake me up every four hours so I can pop the EPL, boy.
1:12:54Shannon Sharpe:Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I ain't dealing with that pain, Ocho. Yo, nah, Joe, don't wake me up. It's like, Mr. Sharp, how you doing? I said, I was doing fine until you brought your ass in here. Yeah. Cut these lights. Joe, they cut these lights on. Mr. Sharp, it's time to get your mouth. Oh, man, come on, man. I said, ma 'am, if you don't mind, I'm good. I don't want no pain medicine. My vitals are fine. If that ain't no like beep, don't bring your ass back in here. Come on, man. Yo, I mean, hey, I mean, finally got me in a good old spot because, you know, you can't turn nowhere. Yeah. I'm just laying.
1:13:29Shannon Sharpe:I'm like, oh, yeah. Finally. Here they come and the door open up. Man. Hey. And I'll be so I'll be on swole. Hey, listen. Well, Mr. Sharp, we need to check your catheter. I say I'm fine. you had a catheter no I had a hernia surgery and so they kept me overnight man look here Joe I had to get up I tried to get up and go to the bathroom and every time I stepped that thing hurt so bad I showed that nurse I said ma 'am I said it's not you so I just wanted to go ahead and put that out there it's not you I said but you called the doctor I said if he doesn't come here first thing in the morning If I'm not his first patient, I'm taking this cathode out on my own.
1:14:18Shannon Sharpe:Damn. Yes, sir. I wanted to. I was going to do what he did, take a deep breath, and he pulled it out. Oh, man. That thing hurt. Oh, Lord. I mean, my thumb hurt not thinking about it. Damn. Oh, man, hey. I'm telling you, that's what my grandma said. My grandma's like, we go up there to see her because she had been in there for like three days because she ended up amputating her leg. She's like, hey, she's like, baby, prop me up so when they come here I can fool them. Let them think I'm okay.
1:15:02Shannon Sharpe:But she told me a little bit because they said, well, Miss Porter, you lost a lot of blood, and so we need to give you a transfusion. Man, Joe Ocho. My grandma said, I don't want nobody else's blood. She was just like, I don't want nobody else's blood. They's like, but Miss Portie, you really need it. She's like, she said, Libby, I don't want it. They's like, you're living? My sister was like, Granny, you need it. Man, they gave my grandma two pints of blood.
1:15:29Shannon Sharpe:My grandma started looking around. Eyes started to water. She said, Libby, bring me the pan. everything they gave her she threw it right back up and she said Libby I told you I ain't want that so they come in and say what Miss For my sister said nope she don't want it so they ain't give it to her no more OKC Thunder not receive a lot of oh Joe do you know the Clippers are the gift they keep giving The OKC Thunder now receive a lottery pick since the Clippers failed to make the playoffs. So they get their lottery pick, Ocho. And you want to get this man to see. Well, that ain't his fault. That's Paul George's fault.
1:16:21Shannon Sharpe:But it is his fault. You know why his fault, Joe? Because he told them he's going to the Lakers. What was told, he's going to the Lakers if you don't get Paul George. So they had to give up. and the Clippers and OKC knew. Y 'all really want him, huh? How bad you want him? Yeah. Yeah, but that's not fair, huh? You know, you don't expect anybody to be hurt. You can't prevent getting hurt. But, hey, hey, the OKC Thunder Lucky War. CP3 is trolling the Clippers on IG. Come on, CP. Look what CP3 is doing. Nah, CP ain't done that. If it's CP3, that was 23 minutes ago. What? Hey,
1:17:12Shannon Sharpe:that's the Sunday school hands.
1:17:18Hey, they trashy Vito, so I understand it. Yeah.
1:17:24Shannon Sharpe:There's more to that story than ever been told. And, you know, look here. I ain't no insider. So eventually one day it'll come out, but it ain't my story to tell. I stay in my lane. I'm a football guy. Copenhagen spit-free pouches are packed full of American-grown tobacco. Made for welders. Stuck behind masks. More mechanics. Stuck on a fused spark plug.
