In short

NFL offseason talk centered on Aaron Donald’s Rams workout/possible return, Stefon Diggs signing with the Washington Commanders, CeeDee Lamb’s new training approach, and Bijan Robinson’s $75M extension. The hosts also debate how rule changes affect defensive dominance and discuss player behavior/contract leverage (including Brandon Aiyuk).

Guests (on-air voices)

No formal guest list is provided in the transcript. The episode is hosted by multiple recurring NFL commentators, including “Ocho” (Ochocinco), “Uncle Joe,” and “Joe,” plus “Mangesh Satigular” and “Maria Garcia” appear only in unrelated promo segments for other podcasts.

Key claims

  • Donald’s helmet-only workout at Rams facility required NFL reporting; McVay calls it the “greatest tryout.”
  • Donald’s return is framed as a “window” to win another ring and add legacy, with fresh legs after time away.
  • Diggs’ move is expected to make Washington’s offense stronger, especially with Jayden Daniels.
  • Lamb’s training method is expected to improve production if he stays healthy.
  • Aiyuk’s “antics” are criticized as counterproductive to earning/keeping money.

Notable examples

  • Comparisons to past quarterback hits (e.g., Wilbur Marshall on Eric Hipple) to argue today’s rules reduce punishment.
  • “Madden” analogy: stacking Donald and Miles Garrett to overwhelm offenses.

3:12Shannon Sharpe:Aaron Donald worked out for the Los Angeles Rams in training camp today. According to Adam Schefter, Donald worked out in a football helmet. He did not wear pads during the workout, but used Ram team equipment and did the workout at their facility. That required the Rams to report it to the NFL. Here's McVay on AD trying out today. Let's take a listen to what he had to say. I couldn't help but note, like right before we started, so I hope you're even aware of this, like the NFL transaction wire wire had aaron donald working out with the rams today which i guess did it come across as a tryout it did come across as a tryout that we've ever had okay you think he could make the team phenomenal i think he could make the team the kids got a shot yeah no that was honestly our our way of being able to get a workout with him within the you know parameters of what's necessary but gif smith said it's the greatest tryout he's ever had uh great

4:07Hey, I like it, huh? I like it. There's a window of opportunity for the Rams. There's a window of opportunity for Stafford to get him one more ring, including McVay. Listen, Aaron Donald ain't no fool. He ain't no fool. If there's an opportunity for me to get another ring with an addition of Miles Garrett, who's now over here, with that offense they have with Puka Devontae and Brother Williams at running back, this is it. This is it. I don't know who wants to deal with that every Sunday, man.

4:38Shannon Sharpe:And grab me 30 million while I'm at that, Ocho. Oh, come on, man. Stop, man. Stop. And honestly, it's almost unfair. What do you mean? Why do you say that? It's almost unfair. You got Miles Garrett on the end. You got Aaron Donald. Man, come on, man. Stop playing, man. What's that other DNA? We had him on. Young. I think it's Young. We had him on, Ocho. Remember, he from Georgia, worked in a supermarket, got picked up.

5:13Shannon Sharpe:I forgot his name. I think his last name is Young. I know what. Byron Young? Oh, Byron Young. That sounds about right. Hey, Aaron Donald ain't fooling me on the Ocho. His ass coming back. Talk to me, Joe. He coming back. and man you ain't doing you hey hey yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah showing up the facility for nothing with no hammer that's all i'm saying that's all i'm saying you know hey hey hey i ain't gonna lie it would entice me to hell if i had miles garrett over there you know what i mean i'm like what i can come back what man ain't nobody gonna see them i think it's gonna take him a little while because you got to realize he's been away from the game for a minute.

6:00Shannon Sharpe:So it's going to take him some time for his spidey senses to see where that wham block coming from, to see where that pull, that scoop, all that stuff. Because when you get away from it, your spidey senses don't tingle like they once did. He would know, hey, that guard open up, he know that wham coming. He know that tight end coming in that short motion, that crank motion. He know when they would try to scoop it, when they would try to post it. He knew all that. He knew to get skinny. Yeah. I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. And the one thing I will say about him, he never give you the whole man. You only get half the man.

6:37Shannon Sharpe:Oh, he's like a wide receiver. Hey, if you watch him at a D tackle, his hands are unbelievable. Yeah. His hands and his feet. And the funny thing, too, this might be a good thing, too, Uncle Joe, for Aaron McDonald. Now, I know we say him not having the spidey senses, him taking some time off. but think about what it's been able to do for his body too. Allowing his body to heal. Allowing his body to recover. Coming in camp, fresh camp legs. No wear and tear on his body. Even though he might be a year or maybe two years old, I'm not sure how much time he had off. But he might be about 33. Go ahead, Joe.

7:18Shannon Sharpe:And just to kind of piggyback what Ocho was saying, Ocho, you're right. You think about it, man. He's been out for so long. Them wounds are healed up. He feeling good. You know what I mean? He probably in the right mental space. You know, you ain't been getting your ass beat up. You know what I mean? It's a little different, bro. It's different. Hey, think about it. Yeah. Because if you've been out for two years and you done healed up, but you're still working out, staying in shape, man, you're going to always, you're going to always have that itch to come back and play. You know what I mean? Because he didn't leave the game with no significant injuries.

7:50Shannon Sharpe:You know what I mean? No, no, no, no. He didn't. Nah. Hell no. That man coming back. What? Yeah, that's dope. That's dope. I mean, listen, I'm happy for Aaron Donald. I'm happy for the Rams. Obviously, the opportunity that they have at their disposal, the window of opportunity, they have to maximize it. They got to maximize it on their neck because it won't be there long. Even just the addition of Aaron Donald in general, along with Miles Garrett. Man, come on, man. That's like you're playing Madden, Joe. Yeah. That's like you're playing Madden. You know, you're getting your superstars on one team on ultimate.

8:28That's cheating though, Joe.

8:32Hey, listen, you can't run the ball up the middle. You drop back the throw, you got to deal with Miles Garrett. You run the ball, you got to deal with Aaron Donald clogging up the hole. You got a secondary that's good.

8:44Shannon Sharpe:He's 35, aren't you? He played well last year. He's 35. He turned 35. Are you 35? okay listen a 35 aaron donnell is is still top three in it you know in the end along with chris jones and brother and brother jeffrey simmons oh yeah for sure and the thing look i know guard some guards i hate like man please stay retired we really we really try to deal with you Oh, yeah. Like I say, Byron Young, they got Fisk. Oh, yeah, Fisk from Florida State too, ain't he? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he can play. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He can play. Yeah, he nice. They got a linebacker, I forget his name, Stockton?

9:29Shannon Sharpe:Is it?

9:34Shannon Sharpe:Whew. Boy, he, boy, they, they got something on the head. They got something to have. That's what, you know, it's like, you know what? But the thing I said now, here's the thing, Ocho. He said I walked away because I didn't have the desire to train like I trained year round. You think he can summons it up for eight months? Absolutely. Absolutely. Because, listen, someone that's retired for two years, he wouldn't summon it up unless he knew the opportunity made sense. It got to make sense, huh? not the money part having to get meetings, waking up early in the morning coming to practice cold tub, hot tub rehab, just doing having to do that after you've done it all these years there's nothing else for you to accomplish you arguably might be one of the best defensive players of all time along with Lawrence Taylor yeah so what are you coming back for?

10:36because he understands that window of opportunity is there for another ring to add more onto a legacy that's already cemented whether they lose or whether they win it's not going to change anything about how great aaron donald has been since he's entered the league it only heightens it he coming in to win though uh uh uh oh yeah for sure oh yeah i don't i mean for me it doesn't change anything for me

11:04Shannon Sharpe:I think he's, I think he, I think me personally, I think he's one of the three or four greatest defensive players, where you want to rank him. Obviously for me, it's LT is the greatest defensive player that I believe that's ever played the game. I like Reggie. Time was, you know, you don't get very many corners that get mentioned as the greatest ever. But I think you have to put time in there for what he was able to do and how he did it, he made you think about him because he wasn't worried about you.

11:41Amen.

11:42Shannon Sharpe:Anytime you shut off, anytime you cut off a whole side of a damn field, you're a bad boy. Yes, sir. You're a bad boy. Oh, yeah. Yeah, AD is, like I said, man, he's phenomenal. He's something special to watch. You watch him, and you're like, wow. Yeah. But I think it's just unfair because, like I said, I played an era where the defense, they knock hell out you. I could just imagine if they threw the ball back then like they threw it now with the rules the way they are, the way they can knock the hell out the quarterback. Yeah. A lot of these quarterbacks would be out, wouldn't they? What? Absolutely.

12:27Shannon Sharpe:Boy, they beat the hell out of the quarterback. Absolutely. They would knock the quarterback. Boy, they knock the quarterback. I think now with the rules changing that you can't land on the guy when you sack him, that helps a lot to him. Yeah, you can't put your weight on him. You can't – basically, you can only put – and you can't hit him with a cross. Man, you know how many times they put their face mask or their helmet in that quarterback's back or up under his chin? Yeah, chin. I know more. Go back and look at the hit. Wilbur Marshall put on Eric Hipple? Black line. If somebody hit a quarterback like that today, how many games do you think?

13:06Shannon Sharpe:Google that right quick. And don't tell you, tell me, Joe, how many games do you think the player would get suspended? If you hit a quarterback in today's game, like Wilbur Marshall hit Eric Hipple. Wilbur Marshall.

13:32Shannon Sharpe:I will tell you.

13:40Shannon Sharpe:And he was out before he hit the dirt.

13:48Shannon Sharpe:And he was out of the pocket. Oh yeah. The one on Joe Ferguson. The one on Joe Ferguson. was that ferguson the hippo i think hold on 1985. yeah that was ferguson okay was ferguson playing with the lions lions yeah okay yeah yeah yeah i know he's playing with lions yeah but i'm looking at it now play action oh get out of that day okay okay oh oh no how many games do you think you get suspended oh oh he's asleep but he might that might be that might be hey hey hey he put his helmet on his chin so i know his head oh yeah yeah they're gonna put you to sleep hey hey i don't think that's a that's a suspension for indefinite that's the whole season hey like that that's the whole season hey go back the reason why they try unabated to the quarterback go look at bruce Smith, he knocked Boomer Sison out.

14:50Shannon Sharpe:He jumped outside and they didn't blow. Go look at it. Go look at what Bruce Smith did to Boomer Sison. Knocked him out. That's why they have unabated to the quarterback now. Bruce Smith. Who was it he hit? Bruce Smith hit Boomer Sison. Pop right up. It's on here.

15:16They playing Buffalo too. Oh, my goodness.

15:21Shannon Sharpe:What is the left tackle doing? Who is that? I don't know what he was doing. But that's the way they used to play the game back there, Joe. Oh, yeah. If you can hunt like that, there ain't no penalties. Hell, yeah, I'm hunting like that, too. You can't hunt like that nowadays, old Joe. Hey, um, hey, Bruce Smith got such a good jump on the ball on that play. the left tackle didn't even get a chance to move hey boom ain't have a chance right there boy and Turkey Jones look up Turkey Jones how he slammed Terry Bradshaw if you slammed a quarterback like this today in the pocket I remember that play or Charles Martin he did the same thing

16:09Shannon Sharpe:Jim McMahon Jim McMahon threw the ball Charles Martin grabbed him What? Oh yeah, you drop somebody on their head like that 9-8 boys over with. That's the way they used to hit. Can you imagine? And people are like, oh, look at the numbers that these quarterbacks threw before in the 80s. Yeah, now you see why they threw for those numbers. You think those guys gonna be throwing for like 400 and 500 yards? Hell nah. No siree, buddy. No siree. No siree. Yeah, the game is different than Uncle Joe. it's different and it allows for I like to say inflation it allows for it allows for inflation the numbers are inflated based on you know defense are handicapped now based on the rules so there's really that much they can do that's why that's why I say oh these guys are so much better than Elway so much better than Marino yeah let Marino have these rules let Elway have these rules that these quarterbacks operate under where the defensive receiver you can't hit the quarterback you can only hit the quarterback in his numbers and you can't hit it below man

17:25Shannon Sharpe:look I'm glad they changed the rules it's for the better because you know better we know you know certain a number of hits they add up over the accumulation they add up guys we understand that we're not we're not I'm not begrudging them but I want you guys to take a look and see what the other guys had to endure. Right. You just could close line a guy. You could head slap a guy. Yeah, everything goes. It was basically the wild, wild west. It really was. They put a bounty on you. They had to stop it because they put a bounty on you. Buddy Ryan put a bounty on the kicker.

18:06Shannon Sharpe:It's not getting... They sacked... I think they sacked Troy like 10 times. The Eagles did. Boy, the Eagles had a hellacious defense back then. Oh, yeah, Buddy was wild. No, they had defenses back then because everybody wanted to be able to run the football and play defense behind it. Yeah. But I still ain't forgave Buddy. Buddy was the only head coach that came to Savannah State and worked me out. he told me to my face he said we're going to take about four or five receivers in the draft he said we're going to put them in a bag we're going to shake them up and whoever comes out that's who's going to play go back and look and see how many receivers they took in 1990 and not one of them was named Shannon Sharp

19:02Shannon Sharpe:he told me Rex tell me all the time my dad said the number one mistake he made was not taking you I ain't say I should have been a first-round pick, but you mean to tell me I could – they took Freaky Fred. I think they took Freaky Fred Barnett. They took Mike Bellamy. They took another Calvin Williams. They took three receivers. Hey, I got a question. Do you think they took them receivers? Do you think you didn't go as high because you went to Savannah State? Yes. You didn't go to an FBS? That's probably.

19:41Yeah.

19:41Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. You did. I did. But Joe, the thing is that when I went to the bowl game, I showed out. Yeah, yeah. I showed out. You guys couldn't do nothing with me. Showed up there, chisel, I'm talking about chisel. What'd you do in that bowl game? See, I freaked him into one-on-one. When we got practice, see that's what I tried, that's what I got freaked with. I got jiggy with it. Show him you have some wiggle. You know what I'm saying, Ocho? I got jiggy with it. All that press coverage.

20:13Shannon Sharpe:Get out of my way. Hey, Jojo, I ain't trying to do all that. I ain't trying to do that, Devontae. Give me up. Uh-huh. Get out of my way. I ain't trying to do all that shaking. I ain't got time ticking. Because you know back then, Ocho, hey, you do this right here, they're coming up through your chin. Yeah. quick quick and in a hurry coming up through your chin man that was rough back in the day yeah Stefan Diggs Ocho signs a one year deal with the Washington Commanders according to Adam Schefter one year deal will be up to 12 million dollars Ocho with Jay Daniels throwing the ball can prove that he's the best number two receiver in the league because that's what he said he said tell me the number two that's better than me I'm Mungish Shatigular and I'm back with a new season of the podcast Skyline Drive.

21:05This time I'm diving into a rabbit hole of peptides, organoids, blood boys, blue zones, and brain replacement to try to understand what this longevity obsession is all about and what it really means to live forever for all of us. I learned about some rad science. I can make a brain for you and then we can test what drug is the best for your brain as opposed to his brain. Here are some hard truths. I would expect Indians to age faster, but I did not expect it to be almost a four to five year acceleration. And get myself into a world of trouble. I'd say probably start bone smashing. That doesn't work.

21:49Make it look more defined. They say it works. I don't know. Listen to Skyline Drive, How to Live Forever on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

22:02The Declaration, which is full of these beautifully rendered sentences and paragraphs about Enlightenment ideals, does also have this darker history to it. Why is it important for the darker part of the Declaration of Independence and the American Revolution? Why is it important that Americans know about it? 25:35Hey, listen. And I said to Joe, I'm not sure if y 'all remember that. I said he was going to go two places. And I stood firm on that chat. I know y 'all remember. I said he's either and I and I and I said this too based on where he's from I say easy going to the Ravens or going to the commanders it was gonna be one of the two It was gonna be one of the two I could have sworn

25:56Shannon Sharpe:I could have sworn we was talking about this your uncle's like oh, man. Are you he gonna go to Washington? I'm like man Washington ain't feeling who I ain't say that he now he's not going Nah, I'm saying this before he did all it, he had done like one or two antics, but y 'all was like, y 'all was saying, man, he gonna get picked up, watch them make pick him up. I'm like, man, nobody picking that man up behind that. But I'm happy for Diggs too, Ocho. I know Ocho saying, hell to be a thousand yard receiver, now hell, you ain't gotta get by like 50 something yards, but he was a thousand yard. It ain't saying like it used to be, Ocho.

26:31But I tell you what, I tell you what, the good thing about this is you got scary territory on the outside you got stefan digs that's gonna be able to manipulate that inside those those zones and know that that man they're gonna be able to move that move that ball up and down the field and now obviously digs even coming off a acl injury they couldn't cover him in new india last year and they definitely be able to come over there play him to a play him to his strengths play him to the things that he does really well man jayden dames he gonna feast if mcdaniel's

27:01Shannon Sharpe:healthy hell. It ain't no guarantee. Look, we know as a Cowboys fan, we know Washington in our division, man. I know y 'all high on Washington. They ain't got digged, but hell, McDaniels got to come back. He got to show us what he got. Oh, Joe? Well, he'll show you. You about to find out. You'll see it up close and personal. Oh, y 'all got Washington better than us, the Cowboys? They don't need to be better than y 'all. Well, that's how y 'all talk. I'm asking the question. Hold on, Joe. Y 'all got the better offense, Joe. I'm going to say that. I'm going to say y 'all got the better offense. But listen, what we not going to do, we not going to forget what Jaden Daniel did.

27:37He's got his rookie year, man. Man, you standing talking about something happened two, three years ago.

27:42Shannon Sharpe:Man, we talking about now. Two, three. He going into year three, Joe. All I'm saying is he had a little injury last year. I know he had a hell of a rookie year. I ain't taking that from him. But, you know, his second year was built around injuries, bro. You know what I mean? He got to do a better job. We got to see if he can make it through a damn season. That's all I'm saying. But you make it seem like Dak Prescott ain't no injuries either now. When? After he broke his ankle ever since then. What about that hamstring that caused him to miss eight games? When? Last year? Two years ago. See, y 'all talking about old stuff.

28:20Shannon Sharpe:Man, I ain't. This was old stuff with Jaden Daniels. He ain't got hurt this year. Nah. This happened last year with Jaden Daniels. I'm talking about right now. yeah hello didn't cd lamb get hurt last year he got me he had a little fender bender oh yeah exactly and he had a little what yeah yeah he's gonna be all right he won the more way book one of the more driverless cars he got to be more careful hey listen listen but if cd don't get hurt for real for real you probably don't see pickens show out the way he showed out neither but hey he gonna show up he gonna but listen listen to me joe the picket is not one of those players that needs a volume of catches to get his yards you throw him two or three balls man that might be 100 yards based on the route based on the routes that he run he gonna take a slant he gonna take a hitch he gonna give you 20 30 out of that every time and then a deep ball, he don't get a deep ball boom, before you look up, he got three catches, he got 100 yards now CD, you know, he gonna slant it, he gonna get in that slot, you know run your stick route, you know, got a little zone, he gonna sit there, boom, get down man, listen the Cowboys are the better offense but I like Diggs, I like Diggs over there with the commanders he's gonna be a vital piece of that offense to keep that chain moving and can't nobody cover him he could be in the slot he could play on the outside and you got Scary Terry I'm trying to figure out who the number 3 is over there with the command of the chat damn I can't remember the number 3 well he was a 2 but he did 3-9 I think he gonna be rejuvenated obviously trying to have another 1 ,000 yard receiving year I think he gonna be great considering everything that's been surrounding him going on around him I'm talking Ocho, I think you're gonna be locked in, bro.

30:18Shannon Sharpe:I think you're gonna be locked in. Yeah, most definitely. Most definitely. Hey, I know Diggs, I know Diggs gonna see this, man. Diggs, come on, join the show, boy. Oh yeah, get him on in, man. Come on, join the show, man. Sit down with us, man. Hey, give us 20, 30 minutes of your time, you hear me? Diggs, hey, somebody clip this and send it to Diggs on Instagram. You hear me? Hey, Diggs, come holler at your boy, man. Sit down with us, man. You know, look, we don't know who the politics is. The number that Diggs was scheduled to make last year, Ocho, I just didn't see that. I just didn't see him getting that.

30:56Shannon Sharpe:He's$25,$30 million. Yeah. I just didn't see him getting that in New England. This is a good number for him. I mean, that's a pretty good number. I mean, he probably got about$7,$8 million, probably with another$4 or$5 million in the sentence. With that being said. I just don't know what he hoped to accomplish by doing what he was doing. That's what I don't get. This is what I don't get. Free Iyuk. What? What are you talking about? Y 'all would rather see this man

31:36Shannon Sharpe:mess up his money? This man gave up$26 million. dollars y 'all want to see the man mess up his money not me man oh that hurt oh don't courage the man to do foolishness come on chat come on people don't encourage them to do foolishness hey i know we're young too uncle joe but one thing about the nfl boy they don't play no games they will move on they will move on without you because they are they are there are a lot of receivers that can give you the same production that he was doing without the baggers having to deal with the bag at a third of the price certain people damn hey hey that's to s 12.

32:17Shannon Sharpe:nfl will move on i've seen ocho you've seen some of the greatest receivers you you're not they'll tolerate you until they can replace you come on now i'm gonna say that again chad listen to me they'll tolerate you until they can replace you hello oh yeah production intolerance ask yourself this kind of behavior that brandon iuk has exhibited is his reduction worth the tolerance that's gonna come along with it yeah no it's over with uncle ocho i'm sorry it's over with no way

32:59what do people don't play well i ain't telling what somebody told me i'm telling what i know i

33:04Shannon Sharpe:I don't see that. I don't see you guys act a fool. That's the goal. Might get him right on up out of there. Yeah.

33:18Shannon Sharpe:Hey, I don't care, guys. I don't care. We're going to do things my way. Okay, you got me. You got me. I like him. I like him. I don't know if IU has a team or he has people. Man, reach out to the man. You reach out to everybody. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I just, I just, man, he's too good. You talking about IU? Hey, Joe. He too good, Joe. Yeah, man, he too good, man. We talking about route running? Huh? We talking about getting open? Talking about surgical? Yeah. With them routes? Man, he belong on somebody's team. I just, whatever's going on, I don't know what's going on. i just want him just to x that man and get in camper uh even if it's even back to the joe joe i don't know joe they they they ain't letting him go for a reason joe they ain't they not bringing that man in there bro oh joe oh joe whatever whatever you need to do because i don't want him to get no money because i don't want him to file no grievances saying i just need him to keep acting like this yeah because i know you want to take this to the players association and then file agreements if you have to get your money we're not gonna you know this money back we're gonna do what you do hold on hey acting a fool ain't making it no better because they're gonna they they're gonna use that against him thank you exactly damn yeah that's all yeah hey hey hey joe he playing a game this is what i what i hate to say it i mean a lot of people in the chat you know they might enjoy it they see it as entertainment and yeah free iuk and all that but this is you're not gonna be the machine huh joe you never gonna you never gonna beat the machine you got the you got to play their game sometimes even when you don't want to you got to play their game i don't say that because you know the chat i ain't playing nobody game okay you'll stay in them unemployed i mean man if you think they're gonna let brandon i go jojo the end up if they say the nfl made 14 and a half billion you think they're gonna let guy that's making 100 million dollars wreck that no sir ain't nothing getting the way of that boy and if they can find a way to get some mud back here they gonna do that too

35:36Shannon Sharpe:14 they just cut everybody every every nfl team about to get 453 million dollars damn let me repeat that the salary cap is 301 4 5 3 every nfl team Yeah. Now, mind you, y 'all do realize the Seattle Seahawks just sold. Every owner is going to get a piece of that. OK, now I just cut you a check for 453. You're about to get about, say, 200 million, 300, 200 million dollars, maybe a little bit more from the sale of the Seahawks. And guess what? I ain't sold a ticket yet. I ain't sold concession. I ain't sold no parking. I ain't sold no merchandise. I ain't had not one other concert in there. And I already done clear.

36:26Shannon Sharpe:I'm about to clear$600 million. Before I do that, now you mean to tell me you think I'm about to let a jack leg, a hard ankle, mess that up? No, son.

36:39Shannon Sharpe:That was my grandpa used to call a boy. Hey, he tell my aunt, yeah, see, you got no good hard ankle.

36:52hey i want him to get right man i want to get right i want to see him on the field i want to see him contribute i want to see him yes doing what he does big running routes slicing dudes up whether it's with the 49ers or whether it's somewhere else just just tighten up and then do whatever you do i i don't know i don't know what he needs to do i just want to see him on the field he dealt with an injury right what he tore his acl or something towards acl yeah it's been it's been

37:17Shannon Sharpe:it's been what, two years now? Yeah. Yeah, because last year, last year, where he tore it, like early in the season, I think he tore it like week four, week five, two years ago. Yeah. So he missed the rest of the season. He missed all last season. Most people come back from an ACL. ACL, I mean, look, let's, can we just take, let's just take, this is Adrian Peterson. We gonna send him over here. Oh man. We gonna compare nobody ACL injured to Adrian Peterson. But normally, Ocho. At least after a year. This man was seven months because he got injured late in December and came back and won the MVP.

37:54With that being said, come on now.

37:58Shannon Sharpe:Come on now, you. Get yourself together. Team, family, loved ones, friends. Put your arm around a young man and help get him right. He's leaving too much money on the table. But who's to say there ain't nobody done that, though? Ain't nobody tried that. You're right, Joe. You know, I just can't see it, but I'm saying that I'm saying that because I can't see nobody who's close to him and see him acting out like that who hadn't reached out to him and tried to, you know, calm that down, bro. I mean, come on. Damn. That, now that I think about it, I said, B8, that might be the one player, but I ain't got his information, huh?

38:44You think he'll respond to me?

38:45Shannon Sharpe:send him a dm on instagram try to see no all they can do oh oh all you can do is reach out yeah right are you really going through something bro the the antics yeah now i understand listen i understand he going through something but i want i want to i want to see sticks huh i want to see that number 11 on that field boy you know i just i just understand i know what you're going through but the machine you trying to fight against that's about it he's not gonna win and I understand that window opportunity is so small I'm not sure how old he is right now but you you're not making it easy easier for yourself because you acting a fool right and they have your rights and other teams not gonna touch you but it will black ball man man don't get me started yeah I'm up what I'm for with black ball you have the kind of relationship that you have with the yeah I've been I've been I've been gone too far you've been gone too long, Ocho, and I'm not, you know, I don't have no summits or anything like that.

39:46Shannon Sharpe:So I'm not very familiar with a lot of these young guys. Or I would, you know, if it's somebody like I really knew, I don't really have a problem reaching out. And when I say I reach out, I reach all the way out. I'm going to get in contact. I'm not going to just get in contact. I'm going to see you. I'm going to let you see me. Yeah. Because I want to be in your presence. I want you to feel me. I want you to know that I'm there. I want you to know that I'm in your corner. because sometimes Ocho and I like to use this analogy if you're 50 feet out Ocho and I throw you a rope that's 45 feet long how much have I helped you?

40:20Shannon Sharpe:Sometimes I got to bring the rope all the way to you Ocho you see what I'm saying Joe? Yeah. Sometimes you got to go meet the person where they are because a lot of times we're like oh I'll help you but you need to help yourself no go all the way to him go all the way to him I don't know what he's got going on. Some people can overcome some things and some people can't. And some people need to know that they got somebody there in their corner that's pulling for them, that's wanting them to do. Like I said, I don't know Brandon Ayoub. I don't. I think he's immensely talented. And I think he's squatted.

40:58Shannon Sharpe:I think I don't know what caused him to have this distaste in his mouth.

41:09Shannon Sharpe:Could be that injury, man. You don't know how people react when they have injuries and they sideline them and they put them on the shelf, Uncle Ocho, and they can't play the game that they love, that they've been playing since they were six, seven, eight years old. You know what I mean? You don't know how a guy gonna respond to that, bro. You don't. Yeah. It's something internally though with the organization. It's something internally, it's something that hasn't gotten out yet. he hasn't actually said it but to be going back and forth with them and not wanting to return and actually giving money back we've never seen anything like that we've never seen someone forego that kind of money to say I don't want to be here I had to grow into it when they gave me too much change at the store I had to grow into getting that money back but for the longest time I walked right up out of there I had to grow into that You gave me too much shame.

42:07Shannon Sharpe:When I was younger, damn. Oh yeah, oh yeah. In the pocket it went. Yeah, you're a better man than me, hell. They gave me too much Ocho. I just felt it was meant to be mine. Damn, Joe. You see it as a blessing, Joe. It's a blessing, hey. It's a blessing, man. Yeah. You gave me too much, it was meant for me to have that. Damn. I got you. I'm with you when you're right, bro. But it don't make me no bad brother. You know? Yeah, that make you a bad brother there. You know that ain't your money. I don't. You know that ain't your money, Joe. That make you a bad brother there. Hey, my grandma was quick.

42:53Shannon Sharpe:Son, don't do that. God won't bless you.

42:58Shannon Sharpe:Everybody be walking to bless him. She thought out of that. God won't bless you. Hey, hey, as much churches I went to, tithes and offerings, I just felt like if you made a mistake like that, man, that one number, God. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah, it is. Look at it, look at it, won't he do it? Won't he do it? Yeah, yes he will. And I won't give it back. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Who about to go against God's wishes? Hello! Yes, sir, yes, sir. Hey, you know what's funny? I always think about down here in the Florida Keys, you know along the beaches here sometimes uh in fort lauderdale it hadn't really happened in miami but in general you know people on the beach you know they relaxing joe and sometimes ashore you know some keys joe you stay with me now they wash up ashore huh it'd be a lot of us sometimes and they call they be calling the police turning it in hey hey listen i'd be god i done I seen what you done for us now.

43:55Now go ahead and let that wash up on soap.

43:57Shannon Sharpe:Hey, Ocho, Ocho. I'm gonna find something to do with it. If it's keys washing up, I can't do no with the keys, brother. But if it's that moolah, huh? Oh yeah. Boy, I ain't gonna hear nothing about that. I ain't gonna hear nothing about packing that in my bag. I'm gone. Yeah. I'm hoping there's a key. You know, I can open up a safe or something with it. I don't need no keys. I need a key. Yeah, I can't do nothing with no keys, man. I can't do nothing with that. Yeah. Yeah, hey. It'd just be so funny. But they be turning in quick, and they reward. Oh, they reward them with a badge or a letter certificate.

44:40I'm like, what the hell?

44:41Shannon Sharpe:It's funny, because I be seeing people, oh, man, they done found$2 million in their backyard. Why the hell would you call authorities? Man, I'm finna put this under the bed, baby. I'm finna put this under the bed, yeah. There would be signs that I came into a pot of money. Hey, all of a sudden, my house worth about$50 ,000, and you see a giraffe in the backyard. There might be a sign, Joe and Ocho. I came into some money. They're like, this man live in a house called$50 ,000, and he got a giraffe. Yep. He got a giraffe. Hey, listen. I ain't going to hold you. Hey, you know I was looking at some hyena cubs.

45:31You know that, huh? Come on, Joe. No, I want no hyena cubs. Yeah. But, hey, you got to understand, Joe, I'm out here. I'm out west in Miami. So around me ain't nothing but ain't nothing land. You hear me? You know? So obviously I don't have the right license to be able to own a hyena cub. but I was just inquiring about it. I just like -

45:53Shannon Sharpe:Hey, Ocho, it's funny you say that, because I've been wanting me a little capuchin monkey for quite some - Oh, you really? Joe, you don't need no license for that? I already know they called out. So you want one of the monkeys that are hangovers. They 1 ,500. No, they about 1 ,500. No, hell no, they're not. They about 9 ,000. They about 9 ,000, 10 ,000. Yeah. Wait, it went up? Come on, 1 ,500? You must go into somebody who's working

46:21I'm Mungus Shatigular and I'm back with a new season of the podcast Skyline Drive. This time I'm diving into a rabbit hole of peptides, organoids, blood boys, blue zones, and brain replacement to try to understand what this longevity obsession is all about. And what it really means to live forever for all of us. I learned about some rad science. I can make a brain for you, and then we can test what draw is the best for your brain, as opposed to his brain. Here are some hard truths. I would expect Indians to age faster, but I did not expect it to be almost a four to five year acceleration. And get myself into a world of trouble.

47:05I'd say probably start bone smashing. That doesn't work. Make it look more defined. They say it works. I don't know. Listen to Skyline Drive, How to Live Forever on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

47:22The Declaration, which is full of these beautifully rendered sentences and paragraphs about Enlightenment ideals, does also have this darker history to it. Why is it important for the darker part of the Declaration of Independence and the American Revolution? Why is it important that Americans know about it? Well, if we don't understand the full context in which our nation was founded, we won't understand the full context in which our nation now finds itself. I'm Rebecca Nagle, Goheen Dawudon, Jaleka Yedli Gaylin, citizen of Cherokee Nation. Are you guys big Chiefs fans? Hell yeah. This is First America, the true story of how the United States came to be and how we got to this present moment.

Betrayal Weekly is back with brand new stories from threatening text messages disturbing a small Midwestern town.

49:04It was from an unknown number. Who else is getting these messages? Why did it start with us? To long cons and stolen identities. Who lies about being this sick? This was the last time I ever believed a word she said. New voices, each with the courage to tell their own story. He said I have been kidnapped. Okay, just trying out normal. He was essentially on the run. Every family has secrets. The rug had been pulled from underneath me. Oh my God. It was right in front of my face and I didn't even see it. 49:57I'm Emily Oster. I'm an economist and data expert. And I'm Perry Wilson. I'm a medical doctor. And this is our new podcast, Wellness Actually. Because you're getting a staggering amount of health and wellness information nowadays, and some of it is awesome. And some of it is, well, actually, bullshit. Fortunately, we're both people who know how to read studies, parse data, and can tell you what's worth trying out and what you can safely ignore. Each episode, we tackle the health news of the week and then take a deeper dive into a misunderstood health and wellness topic, like... What's the deal with peptides?

50:31What's the deal with GLP-1s? What's the deal with creatine? What's the deal with cupping? What's the deal with sleep? So join us for a weekly dose of sanity. It might actually be just what the doctor. Or the economist. Ordered. Listen to Wellness Actually on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

52:21Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, I can work with that. Hey, yeah. And you know what Joe need, Unc? Joe, don't get a capuchin because it's going to be all over the house. You're going to be able to control it. You should get you a lemur. Hold on, hold on. Get you a lemur. When I told you, nah, you should go to Florida every summer, Unc and Ocho. I should go out there and train, hang out, work out. I was back there for like two and a half, three months after the summer. And I had this lady who used to raise them. She brought like three of them over to the crib. They ain't A-A-A. She had them tame. Like they smart as I don't know what.

52:52Shannon Sharpe:I want me a black cap capuchin. But let me ask you a question, Joe. Are you going to work with that black cap capuchin like she worked with him every single day? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Go to Gideon. You say that. Hey, hey, hey, hey. My job now, I'm working till that night. You know, I get on that night with y 'all. It's my job. So throughout the day, I can hang out with my black cap capuchin. Let me ask you question. You know, and my dog. Hey, hey, you think them kids something. Get one of them. you say them kids had your ass a fit hey hello the lady told me because she spent so much time with them that she don't really have a break bro they like they real like kids they are like absolutely yeah absolutely anytime anytime you get a wild animal and they are wild animals that you're trying to domesticate you have to give your that is all you do even with a raccoon yeah Look, my cousin had a squirrel named Groucho.

53:55Shannon Sharpe:My uncle was... Don't laugh, my job.

54:03Shannon Sharpe:Had a squirrel, a pet squirrel named Groucho. My uncle cut the trees with the pulpwood. Cut the tree down, squirrel fell out the nest. My uncle brought it home. They raised it, and they used to let him go. He'd climb up the tree, do all that stuff, and come back. Man, they let Groucho out one day. he never came back put it with that piece and gone damn yeah yeah hey i'll tell you what joe if you get the capuchin monkey i'm gonna go through the proper the legal procedure i'm gonna get me a hyena cub what you gonna do with a hyena cub though ocho i'm a domestic i mean you ain't it hey joe hey hey joe i didn't look up i didn't look at how much it cost to feed him and all i I done looked up everything.

54:46Hyena could, bro. Yeah.

54:48Shannon Sharpe:Well, hey, guys, Jack, y 'all five will enjoy nightcap while you can. Cause one guy go get Aiden, and the other guy gonna be so damn busy, he ain't gonna be able to do nightcap. So let's go ahead and enjoy nightcap while you can. Hey, hold on. Hold on, hold on. Hyenas are just like big dogs. No, man. They very lovable. I ain't going. I ain't going, lovable. Nah. No. I love. Like I said, if you told me I can get me like a mini goat, in a couple of years I might move somewhere. They got them. They got the mini goats. I know they, but I can't. No, but they be fainting though. They be fainting too much.

55:28Shannon Sharpe:It was 113 degrees here today. Where I'm going to put a mini goat there? A little mini horse. Hey, I want to get me a borrow. I get me a borrow hog or something, you know. I don't know. I don't know. The mini goat thing, it sounds good. I like little mini goat, little mini horse, little mini sheep. I like all that. I like that. I like all that. I like hogs. We grew up on a farm. I like hogs. We had males. We had a Durock male named Kelly. Yeah. Kelly could ask. I'm saying, what hogs do when you have hogs on your property? What they do? What they do? Well, my grandfather used to raise hogs, raise them.

56:06Shannon Sharpe:I mean, some was for us that we killed. My grandfather would kill and eat. And some he would sell. Number one pigs. I mean, somewhere between, you want to sell them somewhere between 225, maybe like 270. Yeah. Then you're number two, so forth and so forth. So we had a Durock male named Kelly. Kelly fought. We had a Chester White named Bill. We had a Hampshire named Sonny. Sonny probably weighed about 700. Damn. Oh, yeah. we could ride Sonny like a horse I should have had my brother tell you about Sonny my grandfather but he had tusks like this here Joe and my grandfather obviously the grandkids started coming over more and my grandfather say you know he ended up selling him but yeah we had we always had names for our hogs like Sonny Kelly Bill Kelly oh yeah hey Uncle Joe look this is actually possible i need to really look into this right if i plan the house of hyena for commercial educational zoo sanctuary purposes listen you must register as the exhibitor or dealer under the federal animal welfare act through the usda animal and planet inspect i mean i can do that you're going too much you're going too much who go let me ask you a question who's going to take care of when you're gone yeah his kid i'm gonna have a handler but see now he's gonna be used to the handling not used to you well you know and then you know i'm gonna be here though so think about this right rick ross right ross got horses cows and he got two bites yes two buffalo ah but he got a handler no no no we have to watch his farm why so i mean look like if you dealing with cattle ash family ash used to have ash used to have probably 2 ,000 3 ,000 head of cattle damn yeah wait what damn oh yeah so you have to have hands but you but they ain't pets ask mom the pets were chicken the peacocks that's something entirely different than having like livestock Livestock.

58:30Shannon Sharpe:Livestock, listen, as someone that grew up on a farm, you don't realize how much work it is. And I know you're not gonna have one because you don't wanna spend no money. It's expensive. Because guess what, animals, they wanna get out. They wanna go where they wanna go. And to try to keep cattle, now cattle's a little bit easier to keep in, maintain than say hog. Hog's gonna root. They're gonna root your fence up, they're gonna get out, they're gonna go. They got a mind of their own, They're going to do the hell they want to do. But with that being said, Ocho, nah, you don't want that. You know, you got to think about it too.

59:07You think about a high full grown hyena. We talk about a hyena as a cub. He going to get big. What, you going to get a pygmy hyena? No, I'm just saying. I mean, he'd be domesticated at that point and trained.

59:22Shannon Sharpe:No. You do realize, Ocho, they thought Monte Core. Siegfried Roy, they thought those were domesticated, didn't they? Yeah. See, they train and put and make them do all them tricks and stuff. Shoot, I'd be frustrated too. So let me ask you a question. What are you going to have him do? What you going to have him do? Chilling, just relaxing at home. You know how cats are. No, that's not a cat. That's a cat. His instincts. You ever heard of hyenas? Yeah, I know the hyenas. It's perfect. But you got to realize, Ocho, any animal, I don't care what it is, he's going to do eventually he will do what he was intended to do that's why i tell people when they watch the westminster dog show they see oh that's a pretty dog oh i want to get that dog that dog is going to do what it is intended to do you go get a border collie and then you wonder why you got your kids riding up in the damn corner because that's what he does He hurt.

1:00:23Shannon Sharpe:Hey, that's a good one. That's what the dog does. The dog, the animal gonna do what it's intended to do.

1:00:33I got the kids on it up in the corner.

1:00:36Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, you ain't heard them from nothing and they cried and everything. But he done cornered him. That's what he does. Hey, hey, I come home, man, the goddamn behind him, I'm gonna be French Fry. Man, I had to kill him. Hey, hey, hey, because guess what? If you don't kill him, a French Fry Mama gonna be killing you. Yeah, yeah, for sure. All right, Ocho Joe, C.D. Lamb has tried the unconventional methods to make his hands more reliable and eliminate the drops. That included introducing viewing obstruction while working on the drugs machine during the Cowboys training camp. Let's take a listen to what he showed.

1:01:30I like that. What is that, a plastic bag?

1:01:31Shannon Sharpe:That's a beekeeper. Yeah, it's a beekeeper net. Okay. Y 'all ain't never used that when y 'all over there? Hell no. Joe, I only had one eye, man. I ain't need that shit. But here's the problem that he has, Ocho, is that when you're doing the judging machine, you need to have people touch you. Because what causes your body to tense? What causes you to, footsteps? Guys come in safety, corners, linebackers. So you need to have people around you, you need to have people doing stuff, hands flashing in front of you. Yeah. So, because when things flash, your eyes move. I like that drill too. CeeDee had a small case of the drops, maybe a two-game stretch.

1:02:14Yeah, but that doesn't mean that he's always been one you can rely on to catch the ball. And when he got the ball in his hands, ain't no telling what's going to happen. He's one of the few receivers, run at the catch. He's phenomenal with the ball in his hands. So I like that drill. I like that drill.

1:02:31Shannon Sharpe:Ocho, but I still believe you try to – You try to simulate. Simulate, right. Game, how to be in the game. You can't do that. Because guess what? You think you're going to be that wide open in the game catching passes, don't you? Hell no. Unless they blow a cover, that's about it. Exactly. Exactly. So you just try to simulate. I mean, hey, you get guys bumping you with the dummies and stuff like that to get your body used to taking shots when you get hit, throwing you off, your eyes moving, your body moving. You just got to get used to stuff like that. You try to put yourself in as many football-related situations as you possibly can when you're catching or when you're doing something that's football-related, when you're not on the field.

1:03:16Shannon Sharpe:That's why we say, Ochoa and I, we tell them all the time, you get in shape playing football. You out there running one wind spins. Ain't got one helmet, one shoulder pad on or nothing. Ain't got no cleats. When you're on the football field, you're going to have on cleats. You're going to have a shoulder pad and you're going to have a helmet. Yep. Tell guys that's how you get in shape. You get in shape playing football.

1:03:45Shannon Sharpe:George Pickett tried it. It was done with it. Let's look at what Pick did.

1:04:04you

1:04:12Shannon Sharpe:hey it must been incorporated it must have been incorporated in cd lamb training this whole obviously because pick pick look like he know what the hell going on that ball was going straight through his hand what yeah yeah well sometimes guys look my thing is is that on the jugger machine i try to put the jug machine on what i think my quarterback can throw i'm not gonna have no drug machine running 50 miles an hour when the quarterback can't throw 50 miles an hour so it doesn't make any sense ocho right you're right see guys i i need guys to do things that are football related.

1:04:53Shannon Sharpe:It might look good. Is it going to help me get better on the football field, Ocho? Right. That'd be like you, Joe, going out there shooting a 20-pound med ball. What is shooting a 20-pound med ball going to do for you, Joe? Ain't going to do a whole lot, man.

1:05:11Shannon Sharpe:Man. Is it football related? Is it going to help me get better at football? That's all I'm trying to do. I'm trying to do whatever I did with trying to help me get better at football. Especially with a drill like that when you got the football. Now, if you're running, you know what I'm saying, you're running sprints and things like that, sometimes guys would carry a football. A lot of times running backs carried the football when they were running sprints. But for the most part, wide receivers, we not carry the football. Are we working on speed drills? Are we doing A skip? Are we doing B skip?

1:05:44Shannon Sharpe:We do it, you know, side, things like that. Okay, I get it. I get it. But this drill?

1:05:54Shannon Sharpe:Nah. Pixie to hell with this, man. This is all UCD. Take off with it. Pixie, Pixie, hey, Pixie, look here. If this ball coming this fast from this close, I'm going to drop it again. Hey, hello. We in trouble. but uh but look i i commit cd knowing i got an issue with concentration yeah let me work on the concentration let me get better at that and see if it could occur if it could carry over on the football field hey and you know what i'm dropping from too i'm taking my ass off the ball too soon every time Taking my eyes off the ball too soon. Trying to get up out of there. Before you got it. Yep.

1:06:44Shannon Sharpe:Well, we knew one of these balls were going to drop. The Falcons and Bijan Robinson have agreed to a three-year extension worth up to$75 million. $51 million guaranteed. $31 at signing. The base value,$66.75, makes Robinson the highest paid running back in the league and the average. Basically, leapfrog, which we thought both of those guys would leapfrog, I think the other guy was just waiting on one of the guys to sign. Jameer Gibbs is on deck. Ocho, how much of the Lions regretting not paying Jameer Gibbs after seeing what Bijan just made? I don't think they regretted it at all because whatever he's supposed to get, he's going to get anyway.

1:07:22And the fact that Bijan has signed his first, I'm sure Jameer Gibbs is going to leapfrog that. Maybe not by much, but he's going to reset the market. And you look at all the running backs, I think he'll be the last one. Excuse me. He would be the last one to get paid that amount of money, being that he's a tier one running back. So they're going to allow him to reset the market. I don't like the fact that it's taking so long to get done.

1:07:45Shannon Sharpe:Hey, hey. And he going to get more than B. John? Yeah. Yeah, yes, sir. Yeah, because I signed out to B. John. I would tell – because they were just looking to leapfrog. They need to break that 20 million. Saquon was 20.6. So he goes 22.5. he's going to be looking to get 23 and a half, 24 million. I think the biggest thing he's going to look to get Jeremiah Love. Jeremiah Love got 53. His whole contract is fully guaranteed which is 53 million. I think Jameer Gibbs is going to be looking to get 54, 55 million guaranteed. Hey, hey. Yeah. Especially being that Jameer Gibbs is proven Jeremiah Love had to double snap.

1:08:23Shannon Sharpe:Hey, Jeremiah Love ain't played a snap but here, you know, the younger you are at that running back position uncle ocho you know the the more value you have you know what i mean like once you've been running for a few years bro you know it started to you know it's a little disdain on you because they don't they don't really hold high regards to the running back no more you have to be more than just a run you got to be able to catch that thing out the backfield huh you got to be able to do a multitude of things now you can't just be no runner nah yeah no and and them and them two we talking they can do more than just one.

1:08:59Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, I think that, yeah, I think, I don't know what JT's Jonathan Taylor, I don't know if he signed one recently. We know James Cook got here taking care of last year, Ocho, huh? Yeah, he waiting too, if I'm not mistaken. Jonathan Taylor? Oh, yeah, that boy been eating. He nice too. He got speed, he got speed to burn. Yeah, he could go. man there's something about the wisconsin and he's looking bigger i mean they like hit or miss remember remember the one from wisconsin uh on that real fast name with michael b michael oh you talk about melvin gordon no you talk about melvin gordon no i'm talking about bennett oh yeah yeah yeah michael bennett yeah i know you're talking about yeah yeah i think that i think it's my little bit like ron Dane went to Wisconsin.

1:09:58Shannon Sharpe:Melvin Gordon went to Wisconsin. Melvin Gordon went to Wisconsin too? I didn't know that. Melvin Gordon was nice, boy. They had a bunch of them go down. They had one of the running backs from Denver. He went to Montee Ball. I remember Montee Ball. but uh yeah i think i think gilbert i think gilbert comes in about 23 and a half 24 million with about 54 to 55 guaranteed probably gonna be looking to get 40 million at signing damn hell yeah and plus he from the crib it makes sense anybody from the crib and matter of fact ron dain the heisman 1999.

1:10:49it should have been um p-dub that year wasn't that when that peter warg here 99 ron dain i i i

1:10:58Shannon Sharpe:may it might have been it was that the year they got they got ended up getting suspended him and lavernius coals got suspended don't you yeah for the for the yeah okay so yeah i think P-Dub was supposed to win that that year, boy. Yeah. Jamal Charles went to Texas, but what you call him? Melvin Gordon went to Wisconsin. Melvin Gordon had, I think he rushed for like 400 yards, and then LT broke the record with 400, and then Samadji and P-Ryan came right behind him and broke it again with like 423. In one game? Yeah.

1:11:38Damn.

1:11:39Shannon Sharpe:You remember, what you call him, had 400 yards receiving in the game. Who was that? Who? The dude from La Tech played with Pittsburgh. In a game? One game he had 400? Yeah. And who the hell had 400 yards in the game? What was his name? The wide receiver. Edwards.

1:12:02Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, La Tech, he put 405 on Nebraska, Joe. Ocho. Damn. 400? Hold on. As soon as I see his first name. Hey, Chad, who had 400 yards, man, for La Tech? Troy Edwards. Oh, Troy Edwards. Okay, okay, I remember Troy Edwards. He was small. Yeah. Yeah. Ready, set, summer with the Honda Summer Event.
