1:56Shannon Sharpe:Lenovo, Lenovo.

2:26Shannon Sharpe:Big baby bill of say you know what I bet y 'all never see this I bet y 'all never see that like this year. Hey

2:39Jarrell Miller:Maybe maybe maybe you know you ain't gonna put it back

2:51Shannon Sharpe:You ain't got the glue out of that. Oh this right here. What that is right there? I know that ain't your real. That's my real. That's my real head. I got real head. That's the lineup, huh? That's the real head. Let me ask you this. Before we get into the fight, you know they told you if you get that glue, you can't get that thing wet. You can't sweat.

3:10Travis Switzer:Why would you go do that a couple of days before the fight? First of all, you know when you go to a barbell, you want to take as a professional advice and believe what he's saying. My man said he going to slap the tape up there, and he going to slap the glue up there. It going to be double reinforced. So I assume what he's saying is going to be facts It's going to be true Boy that boy hit me upside the head All I felt was 18 I said oh nah I think this thing is coming up I said I think we might be screwed right now

3:39Shannon Sharpe:Man when they say you pull up on the scene With the top missing Boy that's what they meant I said oh my So when did you know It had started to seep away from the cow

3:52Travis Switzer:Oh man So first, I kind of felt it. So I had my left glove on my right side, on my left side. You tried to hold it down, huh? Yeah, right. God damn. You tried to hold it down. But I said, nah, I don't think it happened. But then when I sat down and my coach is giving me instructions, he don't never stutter. He stutter like two, three times. Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh. And then I seen his eyes look down at me, then look up, then down, and look up. I said, oh, shit. I think it went up. But I know he's trying to stay focused now, you know, distract me. But I said, you know what, God? I said, if I look at the Jumbotron and this thing is up and they replay it, then I know I'm screwed.

4:26Travis Switzer:And so said, so done. When I looked up, I said, oh, shit, I'm screwed. I said, you know what? We're going to roll with it. WWE style. And I just took it off, threw it to the crowd. And then the first thing he said was, yo, you get your ass whooped. I said, I'm getting my ass whooped and I'm losing my ass. I said, you got to rock out.

4:43Jarrell Miller:I said, we got to rock out with this one. Hey, so after that point, after your coach told you that, obviously you took the hairpiece off. What was your thought process after that going into the rest of the fight?

4:58Travis Switzer:Man, just win. Just win. Just win. Just win. Because I know I've been off a year and a half layoff, and the ring rust has caught up to me, and I thought everything would have been good. I know I feel like I could have knocked him out a couple times in the fight, but for some reason I just wasn't pulling the trigger. You know what I'm trying to say? So I said, you know what? My cousin now said, yo, just get the win. Just get the win, and we're going to go back to the drawing board. And that's what I did. Thank God I wouldn't have got that win And I'll be back to the drum board Was it

5:26Shannon Sharpe:Baby, big baby, was it distracting Did you know like, well damn I ain't really fighting, I'm trying to keep this thing on And trying to punch and trying to dodge punches Man, I just need to, hey To hell with this

5:37Travis Switzer:That's it, 100%, 100 % You know, we all from the block, man You know one thing our brothers gonna do is we gonna get Clown, yeah, yeah, yeah So you know you gonna get clowned and you got your ass whooped For you to hear that man I got married. So I said, you know what? Forget the hair. We're going to roll with the punches. Get this win and I'll take it after that. And I said, God, bless you in mysterious ways, man. I prayed to God. I said, God, whatever I do this weekend, let me get through this weekend, man. I know you ain't going back to that bar again. That man told you a dream because you can't get that wet.

6:11Travis Switzer:Yo, listen, he sold me more than a dream. He sold me my future. And then all of a sudden, I see go up and smoke. I said, Yo listen I blame my cousin too That he was My bulb was nice I said he got the joints Oh yeah yeah Oh he gonna have that thing I'm gonna put him on blast He right there on the couch It's him He said he got the joints I said alright back Let's go over there Because what happened was I got here But you know I went to a bulb You know they get a little enhancement A little touch of the air You know I went to one of those Spanish spots Yo, my man hit me with the double spray cans on both sides.

6:52Travis Switzer:So, you know, I rocked out on a Friday, on a Saturday. I said, let me try to get it to like a Monday. So I put the do-rag on and went to sleep and all that. I guess that chemical must have dried my hair. Everything started breaking off by like Tuesday. So I get to New York on Wednesday now. I'm like, I'm trying to do a haircut. I be like, yo, pa, ain't too much hair to cut back here. I said, oh, no. I said, slap the joint on it, man. Let's do it. Let's just do it again. Because you know that they cut everything,

7:19Shannon Sharpe:so it's supposed to be like skin. And then you put the tape, but normally they just put the glue. But they're supposed to tell you, you can't get this wet, and you can't sweat.

7:31Travis Switzer:Yo, he said he's going to put the tape, and he's going to put the glue. I said, okay, it ain't going to move. I said, all right, cool, but he didn't know it's for another big brother like me. You didn't get your money back. Yo, man, shit. I hope he's going to get half.

7:45Shannon Sharpe:And he didn't pick his phone up since. And you that piece again. I mean, you ain't get your money worth out of that one.

7:53Travis Switzer:Man, listen, the piece got lost in the crowd. Somebody sits on eBay for like five grand. I said, who? I want my damn piece.

8:00Jarrell Miller:Hey, baby, I'm getting ready to get one of those too. I'm getting ready to get one of those too. Yo, listen. When I go on a live show with Unc and we go on the road, I'm going to get the hairpiece. I want the kind like all the way where it's kind of an afro, but I'm talking about there's waves. I want mine to look sick. Oh, you want

8:18Travis Switzer:the wavy. The 360. You want the 360. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What we need to do is we need to go to Vietnam real quick and we get our own line of man weaves. We come up with our own lines, bro. We call it the O and J. We call it the OJ line. We should do that. We're killing it.

8:39Jarrell Miller:I'm serious, though. I'm doing mine.

8:43Shannon Sharpe:The OJ line. I don't know big baby that's going to go over too well but I'm saying that OJ we killing it oh

8:56Travis Switzer:hey I just caught on I just caught on come on sooner later they going to hear me out

9:02Shannon Sharpe:but you got hair on the side that's just the top because have you used the follicles

9:11Travis Switzer:man we lose everything man It just broke off, man. We got to start fresh. You can really see. I got some new growth coming already. It's only been a lot of days.

9:20Shannon Sharpe:But see, I was going to say go to Turkey. But if you got hair back here, they can pluck it and then implant it. But I don't know if you got enough hair back there, big baby.

9:29Travis Switzer:Bro, listen. I did the Turkey thing. I had to fix my hairline a few years ago. What happened? That shit hurt.

9:35Jarrell Miller:Man, I don't know. Wait a minute. Hey, hold on. You can go to Turkey and you can get your hairline fixed? Yeah, you get all that fixed. What about my beard?

9:45Travis Switzer:What about the texture of your hair? They do all that. Thank God. If I have no beard, I might have been screwed. They can do all that.

9:55Shannon Sharpe:They be using Ocho pubic hair and underarm hair for hair on his head.

10:00Jarrell Miller:Baby, I want a beard. Like I'm from Philly. I want it filled all the way in.

10:06Travis Switzer:Right now, you got to think about the only other hair you can use to put on your face is going to be the hair on your nuts. That's what I told him.

10:13Shannon Sharpe:Yes.

10:14Jarrell Miller:Oh, no, no. I'm good because I'm Cherokee. And all that lid,

10:17Shannon Sharpe:ain't going to be nothing but some lid up in there.

10:19Jarrell Miller:No, I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. Nah, baby, eat tripping. Make sure you better be crab free because you put some crab on your face, you're going to be cool. Eat tripping. Eat tripping. You know, my hair grows straight because the texture, because I got Cherokee in my skin. So it's like, if you got a girl, you got a wife, like my hair grow like Brazilian curly.

10:39Travis Switzer:Yeah, so it curl up. Man, you can sell that shit Every pubic three inches, you get a grand for that. I would say that shit. I'm with you.

10:48Shannon Sharpe:Let's go. We got to make a check. Don't you think if that man had luscious locks like that, he'd have facial hair, his hair wouldn't be shiny at the top?

10:57Jarrell Miller:No, because I don't like maintenance.

10:59Travis Switzer:I want to be able to get up and go. I don't like maintenance. Listen, I've watched Ocho Shinko for many years. My man love to save his money. So if he could shave his head himself, he going to save a dollar. So maybe that's a footprint I need to follow. Because I spent 700 hours for this shit. 700? 700?

11:17Shannon Sharpe:Hey, did you feel something hit you in the back? Did something hit you in the back when you walked out of the shop? That was 650.

11:24Travis Switzer:I ain't even going to lie. When I first seen it, when it got done, I was proud of it. I was like, this is a fucking thing. You like that? Oh, yeah. Because that thing was high talk. That thing was nice, big baby. It was nice. It was fly. It was fly. Yeah, it was. Juices and berries. Juices and berries in that shit. And I ain't going to front. It was nice. It was nice. It was nice. but God had other plans to me.

11:44Shannon Sharpe:But as much as a boxer sweats, ain't no way that thing was going to hold. Even though he told you he was going to double tape it and double glue it, it's not going to hold with that kind of perspiration. All those bright lights, you moving around, that thing going to lift.

12:02Travis Switzer:Honestly, I wasn't supposed to get hit that much. Well, damn, you in a fight, bro. But I usually don't get hit that much. Not that much. I mean, I got hit a lot. Yeah, you did. I mean, that boy. That thing was like Rock 'em, Rock 'em, Rock 'em, Big Baby. Bro, that boy, he lumped me up. I ain't gonna lie. That pretty much is tough because my eye hurt. My nose hurt. My air got, look, my air got stitches in it. Home week gave me cauliflower. I had to go to the hospital for four hours getting my airs drained. So, yeah, man. He got my ass a little bit poor.

12:32Jarrell Miller:Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, what's next? How much time are you gonna take off? Who do you think about fighting next? Is there somebody you wanna see in your next fight?

12:41Travis Switzer:Well, there's a couple offers that came to me today About six weeks from now Which is a little too quick Only because of my air injury But I'm thinking eight weeks Seven to eight weeks I want to fight again You know, because I'm ready I'm about I want to get another 20 pounds down I want to be a solid 300 I want to get my cardio and fitness back in the gym But, you know, time is ticking, man I want to go How much you weigh coming into this play? 317 Oh, that's not bad That's not bad Yeah, but it's... See, the problem is when I was five years younger, six years younger, at 317, I was still throwing 70 points in the round.

13:17Travis Switzer:And I had knockouts third. I fought Cruiserweight champ, knocked him out in the third round. Then I fought another one contender, knocked him out at 315. So, a little older now, I said, you know what? It ain't the same no more. I got to get this weight down, man. And it gets harder. You know, Angle's kneeling.

13:30Shannon Sharpe:It gets harder as we hold a big baby to get that weight off because the weight that we can get off in two weeks, three weeks a month,

13:41Shannon Sharpe:Maybe is there a name

13:42Jarrell Miller:Is there a name Somebody you want to fight next Or you just It doesn't matter

13:46Travis Switzer:There was a guy From He's a Cuban He's ranked number one His name is Pedro something He's Cuban in Miami He's a good brother Oh he's down here Yeah he's in Miami Yeah he's in Florida You know I'm mostly in Florida I'm mostly in Delray But I'm in New York I'm in New York My mama house Because I got my ass Whipped a little bit So I want some home cooking You know Trying to ease my pain a little bit. See, that's why you're free 17.

14:08Shannon Sharpe:You got to stop eating mama's cookie.

14:10Travis Switzer:Yo, stop. Don't listen. Let me live for a day. Shit, I lost my hair, man. So, you know, my mama cooking gonna give me some confidence, you know. So, you know, once I get a warm meal for a day or two, I'm gonna go back to the burn. Hey, you got to get rid of this, though, man.

14:23Shannon Sharpe:You got to get rid of this.

14:24Travis Switzer:I'm good. The only reason I ain't cut it yet is because my four-year-old son was laying on my head and he's rubbing his daddy. I love it. And then, you know, I told him to my boy. He said, you know, keep it for a little bit. We did a bunch of TV shows and stuff today And they said you know what man I'm gonna rock out for like Five more days and you know We're gonna get a shaving endorsement company And we're gonna shave it on TV or something I don't know We're gonna figure it out

14:46Shannon Sharpe:Will your hair grow back here? Will your hair grow back in the back? Will it grow?

14:50Travis Switzer:I think most of it will grow but it definitely Was a pitch patch from the chemical burn So that's the problem now So I'm gonna grow it and see how far it's gonna get to And maybe we'll be Smack some sea moss or some you know Black sea oil or catch the oil back there, some zinc and magnesium and some of that Haitian stuff

15:09Shannon Sharpe:and see what happens. Let me ask you a question. At any point in time where you embarrassed, you're like, damn, they're going to climb my ass. When I get back to the crib, man, they're going to let me have it.

15:19Travis Switzer:I made peace with it the minute I seen it on the tablet. The minute I looked up, I said, I kid you not, I kid you not, it was like I had a premonition from God. I said, I'm roasted. And God just said, boy, you better run with that shit. And I just ran with it. Right. And that was it. Ever since that moment, I can't. I've always been the kind of person who never cared about people thinking. Anybody that know me know, I've always been a clown. I'm always clowning myself. I'm always clowning my cousins. Like, I come from a big family, you know? In New York alone, I probably got like 100 cousins, like blood-related cousins.

15:50Travis Switzer:So, you know, we get together. It's a roast session. For sure. I'm more scared of them than media any day of the week because I can't beat my cousins up.

15:57Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, because you see them all the time, the people in the media. Everybody's like, hey, I remember you. You the one that you're your top came off. But your cousin... It happened just now. They're going to let you have it.

16:09Travis Switzer:We was in a restaurant just now in the city and three people was like, aren't you big baby with a toupee? I left my cap up. They started dying. That's cool. That's funny. I take it for what it is.

16:19Shannon Sharpe:You're a good sport about it. But the best thing to happen is that you won. You can't lose your toupee and get your ass kicked in the same night.

16:29Travis Switzer:Man, what was the comedian? What's his name? Godfrey? He said he got a toupee two-piece. We got two-piece toupee. I said, you know what? These jokes is going to keep coming at me, but yeah, at least I got the win. You got the win.

16:41Shannon Sharpe:Real Big Baby Davis had a very eventful heavyweight fight. He won the fight. Hey, bro. Miller, excuse me.

16:48Travis Switzer:Big Baby Davis is in jail.

You're like, man, let me get – hey, this thing going to cause me to get my ass whipped.

18:46Jarrell Miller:You know what? Something like that couldn't happen to a better person because he has the right personality. he has the right personality for something like that to happen based on his background having that big family and and knowing what comes with it listen i'm not worried about what the rest of the world gonna say i'm worried about my cousins i'm worried about my family i'm worried about them jokes i ain't worried about nobody else but the fact that he won the fight it makes everything it kind of balances everything out because if he had lost on if you had lost and And lost his toupee?

19:26Jarrell Miller:Oh, it's finna happen. We joining. Hey, them jokes gonna fly. Whether you won or not, the fact that you won is cool, but you finna get these jokes.

23:20Shannon Sharpe:Ocho, Adam Schefter reports that the Browns will hire Travis Switzer to become the next offensive coordinator on Todd Munkin's staff. Switzer and Munkin are both making the move from Baltimore to Cleveland. Munkin was the offensive coordinator for the Ravens the last three seasons, while Switzer spent nine seasons with Baltimore. He was the run game coordinator for the last two seasons and quality control assistant and analyst before that. Switzer does not have any experience calling plays, and Munkin will likely reveal how the team will handle this at his introductory press conference tomorrow.

23:59Shannon Sharpe:Munkin's going to call the plays. What do you mean? What do you mean how are we going to handle that? Todd Munkin is going to call the plays. Right. That's what he told when he got with Andrew Barry and Mr. Haslam and D. He said he's going to call the plays.

24:15Jarrell Miller:So the new hire, what is the new hire going to do? If he has the title. Huh? He has the title.

24:23Shannon Sharpe:that's it you just had the title just like who called the plays there was an offensive coordinator in Denver who called the plays Sean Payton there was an offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur was the offensive coordinator with the Rams he got the head job at the Cardinals who called the plays for the Rams Sean McVay Mason McVay coordinators being at San Francisco who called the plays Kyle Shanahan so I don't know what at the end of the press conference he has a title of an offensive coordinator. He ain't calling no plays. Right. Hey. And I don't have a problem with that, Ocho. No. No, not at all.

25:04Shannon Sharpe:Matt Nagy had the job of offensive coordinator for Kansas City. So did Eric B. Who called the plays, Ocho? Mr. Reed. So I'm just... I'm confused why we got to have an introductory press conference. Like, okay, we hired an offensive coordinator. oh we're going to see who's going to call the plays Tom Monk is going to call the plays

25:27Jarrell Miller:and I don't have a problem with that yeah it doesn't take a press conference for that right but obviously new coach protocol media

25:39Shannon Sharpe:look I don't have no problem basically you're a ghost I ain't got no problem with no ghost writers right I don't Ocho and I think people as we move further in rap and in hip hop and in rap industry, Ocho, we're getting away where people are not looking down on Ghostwriters as much. It's still a thing. I mean, look, everybody ain't come up like they did, like Big Daddy Kane and all those guys and KRS-One, all those guys are doing cyphers and spitting on command. Everybody didn't come up like that. So the further and further you get away from that, the more, I mean, that was real hip hop. That was absolutely frowned upon.

26:21Shannon Sharpe:but now I don't think it's as bad as it once was I don't think it's demonized as much as it once was Goyne what do you want to say Ocho?

26:30Jarrell Miller:No I'm right you're right I'm going to say especially when it comes to the male and the female depending on who the rapper is if you have a ghostwriter it's still frowned upon hugely I never really understand it obviously I'm not in that world all I know is I listen to the finished product and enjoy but for those who are who are enthusiasts in the hip-hop world and hip-hop culture i i i didn't know that they hated people having ghostwriters and i didn't i didn't know it was such a bad thing but i come to find out it is i look at look i mean some of the greatest comedians

27:09Shannon Sharpe:have what ocho help with writers ghost writers writers yeah some of the greatest songwriters some of the greatest songs. You see how they do it? Now look it. I wonder if somebody wrote for Whitney or Mariah or Aretha or Patty or Gladys or Stephanie or Luther or Sam Cooke Donny Hathaway Usher

27:39Shannon Sharpe:I wonder if anybody wrote for Sinatra. You think they wrote for Sinatra? Dean Martin yeah

27:46Jarrell Miller:hello Quincy Jones

27:50Shannon Sharpe:what about Adele you think anybody help Adele what about Lady Gaga what's the one that lost the life the skinny one from

28:01Jarrell Miller:hey hold on

28:02Shannon Sharpe:who they tried to send me to rehab I said no no Amy Winehouse oh yeah legend some of the greatest voices of all time times but only a rap you ain't no real rapper yes if some they say a rap is different huh

28:21Jarrell Miller:they say when it comes to rap you can't have a ghostwriter it has to be authentically

28:24Shannon Sharpe:your thoughts you notice how everything is different in our community no other community have that you notice that ocho

28:33Jarrell Miller:i ain't think about it like that i don't

28:37Shannon Sharpe:we hold ourselves to a standard that no other racial people hold themselves to and then you wonder why we don't work together. But okay.

28:54Shannon Sharpe:You see that? Think about it Ocho. We'll hold ourselves to a standard that no other race, no other genre of music will hold themselves to. Right.

29:06Jarrell Miller:Do you think it's different when it comes to different genres of music? It's okay if you R &B, if you soul, if you neo soul. Black R &B why R &B right but I'm saying when it comes to rap do you think it's it's a little bit different in that lane where you just us oh

29:21Shannon Sharpe:us is different right okay I got you

29:24Jarrell Miller:I got you I got you

29:25Shannon Sharpe:that's the difference but you do each his own hey yeah

29:32Jarrell Miller:damn man listen if I was a rapper I'm definitely gonna have some help you know somebody's vision somebody's ideas might be better than mine

29:48Jarrell Miller:I mean everybody can't go in the booth and just hit a 16 right off the top of the head everybody can't do that

29:55Shannon Sharpe:I agree with you 1000 % but hey to each his own yeah each his own that's what you know hey but I don't look Mike LaFleur didn't call plays. Sean McVay did. And there have been a lot of coordinators that have gotten jobs

30:22Shannon Sharpe:by not calling plays. And that's one of the things that you were speaking to, Ocho. You were like, okay, we want somebody to call plays, but you're hiring somebody that never called plays. But you used that against some that said, well, he didn't call the plays. well the guy that you hired before him didn't call plays either and it wasn't an issue it's all on who you

30:46Jarrell Miller:it's all on who you know yeah some some people can some people can be overqualified and they still don't want you but i'm gonna hire my friend who doesn't call plays but i'm gonna give the give him this title because that's my dog and i'm gonna make sure he has a job again the game within the game yeah it is

31:13but

31:18Shannon Sharpe:boy the Browns I sure hope they can get it right

31:24Shannon Sharpe:what you thinking

31:28Jarrell Miller:I hope so too I know what's going to be good over there I know that that goddamn defense. That defense is going to be good. Now, offensively, I'm not sure what's going to happen.

31:39Shannon Sharpe:They were good last year. You ain't winning. It takes a team now, Ocho. You used to be really dominant on one side and be so-so on the other side. Not today's game, Ocho.

31:48Jarrell Miller:Not today's game.

31:50Shannon Sharpe:When you first got into the league, middle way through, you could have a dominant defense and be okay offensively? Right. That ain't happening no more, Ocho. that ain't happening no more.

32:04Travis Switzer:Yeah.

32:09Shannon Sharpe:What you thinking?

32:11Jarrell Miller:I mean, you said you hit the nail right on the coffin. Wait, no, you hit the nail on the head. Wait, how did it go again?

32:19Shannon Sharpe:You hit the nail on the head.

32:21Jarrell Miller:Oh, yeah, you hit the nail on the head.

32:23Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, that was the final nail in the coffin.

32:26Jarrell Miller:Ah, okay, okay, okay, okay. Okay, I mixed it up, I mixed it up.

32:30Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. you can't drive a tack nail with a sledgehammer. The same way you can't drill a spike nail with a tack hammer. You don't know what a spike nail and a tack nail is.

32:47Jarrell Miller:I used to be a carpenter. I know about that. What you using spike nails and carpentry for? You don't spike them big as spike nails? Yeah. I used to do demo. Demo? Yeah, I used to demolish the houses and build houses. Oh, Lord, that mercy.

33:08Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Who in the hell let you build a house?

33:11Jarrell Miller:Uh-huh. Man, I went to school for that. I had a plan B. That was my plan B. Construction.

33:20Shannon Sharpe:Ugh. I don't know, Ocho. Yeah, I know. I don't think you ever did no construction in your life.

33:26Jarrell Miller:Who? Look at my hands. Hold your hands up.

33:27Shannon Sharpe:Let me see your hands. Nah, you ain't got no damn calluses. Unk, you don't see all them calluses? Hell no, I don't.

33:33Jarrell Miller:Look at it. Look at my hands.

33:36Shannon Sharpe:You ain't did no cross tie. You ain't poured no concrete. You ain't laid no asphalt.

33:43Jarrell Miller:Hey, I done done about 30, about maybe two or three rules in Miami. What rooms? Roof, roof. I used to do roofing and all. I can lay a roof on. I'm telling you. Get that tar down now. You know, got the mask on for the smell

34:03Shannon Sharpe:Man, you ain't Didn't know what to call him You ain't know how to do no

34:07Jarrell Miller:I'ma see you a clip of my work

34:12Shannon Sharpe:I know you ain't been under that roof No hot ass roof in the summer in Miami Nah

34:18Jarrell Miller:We have fans

34:20Shannon Sharpe:That's a hard ass job First of all, anything that's manual and it's outside Oh, it's difficult

34:25Jarrell Miller:Especially out here

34:26Shannon Sharpe:You get the elements, you get the coal You get coal, you get heat you know a lot of times it gets so like in southern states it gets so hot i mean in vegas they work from like midnight to like 6 a.m yeah because it's so hot during the day i mean it's on in the pavement blacktop you're talking about 120 130 degrees so they gotta let the sun go down and so when the traffic so you basically working in you know probably somewhere between 10 and 6 right maybe get your eight hour shift in but on the side it's the same thing i mean they work at night because it's so hot during the day georgia california georgia uh texas uh you know mississippi

35:03Jarrell Miller:the southern states you ain't doing that don't you all right i'm just telling you i know you're not gonna believe me but you know i'm a man of many talents man well it's funny that you couldn't

35:14Shannon Sharpe:fix that damn camera but you can fix everything else well the camera worked now you notice that we had no somebody came in and fixed it not you ain't nobody ain't nobody come out i fix it you Can I tell you how I fixed it? Calling somebody?

35:26Jarrell Miller:No, I just watch YouTube. Hey, all I do is, God dang it. Hey, we ain't had no Elgato problems in a minute. No, we ain't had no Elgato.

35:37Shannon Sharpe:We ain't had no Elgato. We ain't had no Elgato.

35:41Jarrell Miller:So we ain't had Elgato probably about a month, Ocho. Yeah, because I ain't had the damn settings the right way, man. And that's why I kept cutting off.

35:54Shannon Sharpe:But, no, it's going to be interesting. Look, I'm anxious to see what the Browns does. It looks like Shadour is going to start at QB1. Hopefully, you know, they get some weapons around him to get him some better protection as far as offensive line. I like what they have running ball. Judkins running the football. But, look, they need some weapons. They need weapons. They need offensive line protection. And so I think that's kind of the direction that they're going to go in to try to make sure they get this thing going. Because, look, we'll see what the Steelers do. does Aaron Rodgers come back?

36:24Shannon Sharpe:They got a new head coach, Mike McCarthy. Baltimore has a new head coach and mentor. And Zach Taylor is still there. We'll see what they can do. Can they get it right? I think this is probably going to be his last year, Ocho. Zach? Yeah. If they don't make the playoff, make a deep playoff run.

36:47Shannon Sharpe:Joe getting frustrated.

36:52Shannon Sharpe:I think Joe getting frustrated with it Ocho don't you yeah he said he wants to win he does winning is addictive Ocho so is losing though

37:06Jarrell Miller:he got to do his part that's all he got to do you got to do your part

37:19Jarrell Miller:What's the part? Hey, every Sunday, all 18 games, I need you. All 17, I need you.

37:29Shannon Sharpe:For sure, yes. You got to give him some better protection. He got to be. I mean, some of this stuff is like freaky. I mean, you know, the wrist, I didn't even see where he hurt. Like you just throwing the ball. He said like he did that to his wrist. Yeah. Oh.

37:48Jarrell Miller:yeah I'm gonna go I'm gonna go bother all them boys I'm gonna see all them boys tomorrow I'm gonna bother them

37:53Shannon Sharpe:I thought Joe we need you I mean think about it I ain't hear nobody say Joe Flacco that deserved to be in the Pro Bowl like they were saying Shadour you notice that Ocho yeah so where are all these people that say oh Shadour doesn't belong Joe Flacco belong in the Pro Bowl

38:14Jarrell Miller:you know people got selective

41:24Shannon Sharpe:Oh, Joe, Drake May, who was injured with his right throwing shoulder in the AFC Championship game, said he took a normal number of throws at practice today and that the recovery has turned a corner leading to the Super Bowl. I'm feeling good. I'll be just fine, May said before Winky. I think I turned the corner, landing on the flight, felt good from the flight, throwing out there today. I really had no doubt being 100 % for the game. It's Super Bowl. You get two weeks prepared for it. You do whatever you have to do to get right, and I've got confidence, and I feel good. But he said looking forward to a normal week of prep practices Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

41:59Jarrell Miller:That's a good thing. He's feeling good. Then he's going to get some rest before the game. They're not going to throw his shoulder out. They're not going to throw him too much with their soreness. But you want to get the bulk of the work. You want to get the meat and potatoes of your game plan in before you give him time to rest before that game. So he's going to be okay. And obviously, you know, he has the access to the best, to the best rehab and treatment to make sure there's no soreness after the practices. Obviously, you have your masseuses and all the laser and all that crazy stuff that they have access to now.

42:34Jarrell Miller:So he's definitely going to be all right.

42:37Shannon Sharpe:He's definitely going to be all right. I think you have a normal – I mean, don't y 'all look. You have a normal prep. Whatever you do at a normal Wednesday when you're back at your place, that's what you do. Yes. It's a lot of, it's a bit different because, okay, we got curfew, not curfew. We got, they served us breakfast and they served us lunch. They gave us a per diem for dinner. We were on our own for dinner. Right. You got curfew. So once we got back, we were done. I mean, once we got back to the hotel, so we had from basically probably 4 o 'clock until 11.

43:10Jarrell Miller:Mm-hmm.

43:11Shannon Sharpe:So we got down there on a Sunday. We had curfew at 1.30. Monday, we had curfew at noon. I mean, at midnight. After that, it was 11 a.m. because we were on a normal schedule. And you just, I mean, meeting rooms is conference rooms and things like that. So it's a little different. And, you know, you got a room where, okay, you want to watch some extra film. Right. Instead of you taking it home, there's a room that you can watch extra film. You know, you play video games. They got video games. They got pool tables. They got ping pong tables. They have ice hockey. I mean, you try to make it as normal as possible, but normally I don't stay in a hotel leading up to a game.

43:50Shannon Sharpe:And you're in a different city. But that's it. And you try to make it as normal as possible, but it's not. You know it's not. Everybody knows it's not a normal game.

44:04Shannon Sharpe:You don't stay in a hotel the night before, the week before a game, the whole week. You might go that Saturday night, Ocho. Right. Did y 'all stay at the hotel Saturday night before the game? Yes, we had to stay.

44:15Jarrell Miller:Even whether we were playing home or away, we had to stay in the hotel.

44:17Shannon Sharpe:Okay. Now you're in the hotel Sunday night, Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night, Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday night. So for seven nights, you're at a hotel, whereas normally it's one.

44:29Jarrell Miller:Yeah. I mean, but I'm hoping that shouldn't be an inconvenience. No, no, no.

44:33Shannon Sharpe:You try to make it as normal as you possibly can. Oh, yeah. You have your big meeting, your offensive meeting. then you break up into your individual meetings.

44:42Travis Switzer:Right.

44:43Shannon Sharpe:What we did is that we installed, we put everything that we were going to do in the game, we put it in the week before. Okay. So once we got to San Diego, once we got to Miami, once we got to Tampa, everything was a dress rehearsal. Speed. Let's go.

44:59Jarrell Miller:Yeah.

45:01Shannon Sharpe:You already done gone with this. No mistakes.

45:03Jarrell Miller:Mm-hmm.

45:05Shannon Sharpe:I got to get that tape. Boy, I was cooking. Oh, that first one on Joe? that one-on-one period I was cooking Ocho your boy was cooking your boy running that dick you were like damn you running things like that yeah I'm going to get a tape as a matter of fact when I get up here I'm going to say BP I need you to put that put together that Super Bowl tape when we was in San Diego I was cooking

45:33Jarrell Miller:I got to see that

45:36Shannon Sharpe:Ocho you going to be like ain't no tight end running no ain't no tight end running with running routes like I ain't no tight end running routes like I was running then and they ain't running like that now I promise you

45:48Jarrell Miller:okay talk your let it know okay that's what I'm talking about

45:54Shannon Sharpe:yeah it was a good old day though Joe it was a good old day where were y 'all Super Bowls in Indy right your Super Bowls in Indy I forgot where we played I think y 'all played in Indy that was in 20 I'm trying to think that was

46:11Jarrell Miller:2011 wasn't it 2011 2012 might have been

46:15Shannon Sharpe:let's see y 'all lost to Super 8 2000 okay 2007 they lost to Super 8 hell I can't even remember where we played at Steelers

46:30Shannon Sharpe:it might have been it might have been 2010 what year was the I think it was 2010. Because 2011 was the Packers and the Steelers in Dallas.

46:47Shannon Sharpe:2012 was the Ravens and the 49ers. What year? What year? Was it 2010?

47:06Shannon Sharpe:No, what year was that 2009? In the 2010 year, but 2009, that the Giants and the Patriots.

47:19They played again.

47:20Shannon Sharpe:They played twice.

47:24Yeah.

47:29Shannon Sharpe:So, I think that was in Indy. because I remember being there because I did a thing for KFC. As a matter of fact, I went to somebody's house and they delivered KFC, Ocho. For real? Yeah, they did. Yeah, it was. Okay, yeah. So it was the 2011 season, the 2012. It was the 2012 that it actually happened. Okay, yeah. As a matter of fact, that was the first year for the NFL Honors.

48:00Shannon Sharpe:That was the first year for NFL Honors. Oh, Joe, things got a little shaky today in San Francisco ahead of the Super Bowl. Over two dozen earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 or above jolted the Bay Area. In total, more than 40 quakes struck in the area this morning, ranging the magnitude from 1.3 to 3.9. Oh, Joe? Yes, sir. You know, the weather can impact the game. We normally think of rain, sleet, wind. earthquakes don't normally come into play unless we go back to the 1989 World Series between the Giants, if I'm not mistaken, and the Giants and the A's. That was the Bay Series. Yeah.

48:51Shannon Sharpe:So, we're going to get a little impact? We're going to get a look? The first time in Super Bowl history? Maybe a little quake?

48:57Jarrell Miller:I don't think so. with my little bit of knowledge about earthquakes and equator and all that stuff and the imbalance I don't know much about it I'm not one to sit here and talk about it but I don't think it's something that will continue to happen over the rest of the week especially on Super Bowl Sunday hopefully you know earthquake has gotten what it need to get out right now before the game and there are no more interruptions I'm not sure if we have any people in the chat that have a better understanding of why earthquakes happen regardless of what magnitude it is but let's hope let's hope and pray that there are no more definitely nothing of huge magnitude that can not only damage the city but ruin that good game that we're looking forward to on Sunday Have you ever been in an earthquake?

49:49Jarrell Miller:Yeah in LA of course absolutely remember I was in LA from 97 to 2000

49:55Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, it's a funny feeling to feel, I mean, stuff like, hold on, is that an earthquake? I mean, we were on air undisputed. Then one time I was in the bed and the bed just started shaking. I mean, it's quick, like three seconds, four seconds. It ain't bad. I'm like, damn. You know, first I thought, you know, it was an earthquake earlier that night. You know what I'm saying, don't you? You know what I'm talking about. Mm-hmm.

50:26Shannon Sharpe:but I'm it's interesting I wonder how the players that's never been I wonder if the players when did Seattle get to town okay because what you call them did both arrive yesterday because I know sometimes they come in on a Monday but I think maybe the NFL is forced to come in on a Sunday because we got there that Sunday we always came in on a Sunday

50:57Shannon Sharpe:no it ain't quick no it's like a couple of seconds i mean i mean if you but you know if you if you in it because i was asleep and it woke me up out of dead sleep right and i was like damn that's

51:07Jarrell Miller:earthquake and and it depended on the magnitude too if it ain't oh yeah yeah yeah but this one was like a five wasn't it ash the one that hit uh yeah it's like 4.2 you know it ocho yeah that's not that bad. I mean, 4.4.2 ain't that bad. 4.4.2 ain't that bad, huh? That's a little tremble. Now, you started getting in the 6s and 7s.

51:29Shannon Sharpe:Now you're talking about structural. I mean, there was some structural damage, but now you're talking about casualties. You're talking about thousands of people when you started talking about 6.7.0. You're talking about the one that hit San Francisco back in the 30s, I think.

51:46Jarrell Miller:I think that was way over 6,

51:49Shannon Sharpe:Six or seven. Yeah, I think it was seven. Now, Ocho, you start talking about, you start getting nine and ten. Now, you're talking about a whole civilization. You're talking about stuff going into the ocean.

51:59Jarrell Miller:Yeah.

52:01Shannon Sharpe:I don't know. What's the heaviest one to record it? I think there was one in maybe Chile or Mexico, but I think maybe nine.

52:21Shannon Sharpe:Magnitude.

52:27Shannon Sharpe:Well, see, that ain't nothing. But when you get a condensed population, when you get someone where they're... Oh, okay, that's what led to the... Okay, that's what... Yes, yes, I remember now. Wow. But wasn't there one in Mexico or Chile or something?

52:49Chad Johnson:In year 1303, there was 8-0 Ochoa in China. Mm-hmm. 16-0 Ochoa in China.

53:01Jarrell Miller:Damn, nine point.

53:03Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, yeah, because you got such a heavy concentration. There's a lot of people, Ochoa, right there. Yeah. Wow. Wow. So hopefully everything is under control. We get great weather. Because I hate games like this because I was at the Super Bowl Ocho in Miami. Oh, yeah.

53:26Jarrell Miller:It rained. It rained. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

53:29Shannon Sharpe:The Coast Bears game. Coast Bears game. Yeah. It is like, yeah, I just want the two best teams. Not who handles the conditions the better. Right. You know, so I just want, especially that game. I get it. sometimes Ocho you know you you in the Midwest or you're in a situation and the team has earned home or home field and it's you know weather is inclement but in the Super Bowl it's supposed to be really nice. It's supposed to be really nice.

53:56Jarrell Miller:Yeah it will be. It's going to be. Listen the game is at 3 o 'clock right?

54:01Shannon Sharpe:Yeah yeah. Yeah yeah. Weather is going to be nice. 3 o 'clock West Coast time 6 probably like 6 something East Coast. East Coast time yeah. Yeah, 3.30, 6.30. Yeah, it's going to be nice. Yeah. I'm hoping. Mike Rabel was asked the dumbest question today, Ocho. Let's take a listen to the question asked and how he responded.

54:24Chad Johnson:Is this a must-win game? A must-win? Yeah, every time we go out, it's a must-win game. I mean, it's kind of the attitude that I've always taken in the National Football League.

54:36Jarrell Miller:It's the Super Bowl. I mean, why do you ask a question like that? As a reporter, do you just ask questions just to hear what the answer is going to be? Even though the answer is somewhat common sense? Or you just want to hear the coach's answer? Is this a must-win game? It's the last game of the season. It's the Super Bowl. The whole point is to win. Okay, maybe I'm tripping. Or maybe you just wanted to hear what Vrabel's answer would be to said question.

55:07Shannon Sharpe:I mean, come on now. I get it, and sometimes you say, hey, will you marry me and all kind of foolishness. But come on, this seems to be a season. I'm assuming this is a season reporter. You think so? And I get, Ocho, hold on. You know, Ocho, sometimes during the season, the team has lost like two or three games, and they ask, is this a must-win game? But it's the final game of the season. Once you get to the playoff, yes, every game is must-win. you try to win all of them you try to win all of them but when you there is no there's finality come postseason there is no week one so you lose week one and you know is week two a must win well we like to win but it's not a must win we still got 15 more games to play there are no more games to play in the postseason if you lose there are no more games to play if you lose the Super Bowl so I don't I don't

56:04Jarrell Miller:maybe maybe there was no I'm going to say it was a skit so it couldn't have been a skit I'm sure that was a serious question because someone wouldn't be in that room to be able to have access to be even asked a question unless it was someone with a credential

56:20Shannon Sharpe:Ocho Sean McVay just completed his ninth season as an NFL head coach he has had seven head coaches hired off his staff Matt LaFleur is now the head coach is a head coach. Shane Waldron is a head coach. Kevin O 'Connell is a head coach. Liam Cohen is a head coach. Matt, Mike, Mike, the brother of Matt LaFleur is a head coach. Wade Phillips, who was a former head coach, got a head coaching job. Brandon Staley, Raheem Morris, Chris Shula. So Chris Shula probably going to be the next one, Ocho.

56:58Jarrell Miller:Yeah. You see how that works huh i got you here's mcveigh talking about it today let's take a listen what he had to say ocho all right can't hear him you muted coach

57:27Chad Johnson:too much time on my phone okay way we got a lot of great coaches in-house but our job is to continuously build and it's like putting together a team you know you're coaching staff and we've had a lot of reps at it for a lot of the right reasons um but i am excited about diving in and it never fails every time me and my wife go on vacation somebody's usually getting a head job and then uh i'm spending too much time

57:50Jarrell Miller:I'm on my phone. That's dope. Didn't Zach Taylor come from Mr. After. And that, that has to be a, that has to be a great feeling. Yes. People that, that have coached with you and coached under you that have helped, help you with success on the team that you've had, be able to, to branch off and go and be, and go and be coaches at other places. I mean, that, that, that has to be one of the greatest feelings. And obviously Sean McVay has done one hell of a job, a tremendous job down there in Los Angeles. And, you know, you have the players and you have the personnel like he does. It somewhat makes the job a lot easier when you have a Matt Stafford.

58:29Jarrell Miller:You got a Puka. You got a Vontae Adams. You got a Fisk. And some of those players defensively. So, I mean, it's awesome. Young, verse. Yeah, verse, yes.

58:40Shannon Sharpe:Landmine. Yeah, they're really good. Yeah. I mean, you look at Kyle. You look at Robert Sala. You look at D 'Amico Raj. You look at Mike McDaniel. you look at Sean McVay was actually on his staff. A lot of these guys, Mike, I think LaFleur was on that staff that ended up going with Sean.

59:00Jarrell Miller:Right.

59:02Shannon Sharpe:But they are very close, and that's how the coaching community works. You know, if you get a job and, you know, you do your job and, you know, you're loyal, when that guy gets hired, there's a great chance you'll always have a job. Bobby Turner is always going to have a job. He was our running back coach in Denver back in 95, and he went everywhere Mike went. And when Kyle got a job, guess what? He's on Kyle's staff. Yep. So that's how it works. But he's very, very, very impressive. And yeah, Sean should feel very proud, Ocho. Obviously, he's won. He's won a Super Bowl. Yes. Lost 13-3. And I think in the process of losing 13-3, I think that's when he came to the realization, Ocho, he needed a better quarterback in order to win the Super Bowl.

59:51Jarrell Miller:Yeah, you need him over the hump, yep.

59:53Shannon Sharpe:I think that's when he realized, like, you know what? I mean, we held Tom Brady to 13 points. I think they picked him, and we had every opportunity, but we just didn't have a quarterback that can make those throws. Yeah. You see. Since then, they haven't had a problem. Oh, Joe, USA Today ranked the greatest players in Super Bowl history. Tom Brady obviously was number one. Joe Montana was number two. Jerry Rice was number three. Terry Bradshaw, four. Charles Haley, five. Doug Williams, Emmitt Smith. Hold up. Nah, I can't even read no more. They got Patrick Mahomes as the 15th greatest player in Super Bowl history.

1:00:37Shannon Sharpe:He's behind Eli Manning. Bart Starr. I don't even want to read no more of this

1:00:44Jarrell Miller:yeah I mean come on now

1:00:47Shannon Sharpe:what we doing here so you mean to tell me that Patrick Mahomes of everybody that's played in the Super Bowl he's the 15th best player not not not I'm not the 15th best player I have a question yes this is an article right yes

1:01:07Jarrell Miller:do they have a name by is there a name

1:01:10Shannon Sharpe:Who wrote this? They ranked the 50th. If you want to say Montana Brady. Yeah, Nate. You want some bulljacks. Who?

1:01:20Jarrell Miller:Nate what?

1:01:21Shannon Sharpe:They got this man behind Eli.

1:01:22Jarrell Miller:What's his name? Nate what? Nate Davis.

1:01:26Shannon Sharpe:Nate Davis.

1:01:32How long?

1:01:33Shannon Sharpe:How is Elsie Greenwood? They got Elsie Greenwood is the 20th greatest player in Super Bowl history. and he ain't in the hall. Brady's in the hall. Montana's in the hall. Rice is in the hall. Bradshaw, Haley, no Doug Williams. Emmitt, no Eli. TD, Joe Namath, Vinatieri, he's up. Bart Starr is in. Len Swan is in. Steve Young is in. Patrick Mahomes will be in. Jack Lambert is in. Kurt Warner is in. Franco Harris is in. Ray Lewis is in. So only three of the top 20 that's not in the Hall of Fame. Yeah. and Mahomes is not eligible yet man is listening by Chad I can't even read this to you no more the mere fact that this man got as the best player he's got Patrick Mahomes behind Eli

1:02:25Jarrell Miller:have you seen Nate Davis no okay I mean when you see Nate Davis you understand why his list looks the way it does

1:02:38Shannon Sharpe:yeah Nate if you're on Radio Row come by and talk to us and you might have been on that when you put this list together I would love people that have actually played the game

1:02:52Jarrell Miller:that understand the game to do lists like this especially when it comes to a list of this of this magnitude as important as ranking the best players to play in the Super Bowl. Like, come on.

1:03:06Shannon Sharpe:I mean, okay, we got Brady got five MVPs. Joe got three. Jerry has one. Bradshaw has one. Bradshaw might have two. No, he got one. I think he got, let's see, Franco was MVP of one. Len Swan was one. John Starworth might have been a one. Bradshaw might have had, Bradshaw might have two. Does Bradshaw have two or one? because I know Lynn has one and Franco has one.

1:03:33Jarrell Miller:I would love to hear the argument. Okay. I would love to hear the argument on why and how he came about the order in which he has the players as 1 to 15. I would love to hear that part. That would be more interesting as opposed to the order he has everybody in. How did you get to this?

1:04:00Shannon Sharpe:Ocho, in the days leading up to Thursday trade deadline, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Clippers have had advanced discussions on a deal that would send James Harden to Cleveland in exchange for Darius Garland. The deal would represent an exchange of former All-Star guards. Harden is under contract for 39.2 and 42.3 with 13.3 guaranteed. the second season is a player option because the contract is technically for one year and Harden has veto power on any trade he has a 15 % trade bonus that is currently valued at$2.36 million James Harden timeline he was traded to Brooklyn in 2021 traded to Philly in 2022 traded to the Clippers in 2023 and now February 26th TBD

1:04:57Jarrell Miller:what do you think about that you think you want to leave

1:05:05Jarrell Miller:is Darius Garland healthy now

1:05:08Shannon Sharpe:he's been having I think he got nicked again but he's been having issues with

1:05:16Shannon Sharpe:with his toe you know he had an issue with his toe last year right I mean, I guess, you know, Harden's going to want a long term. They're going to want, you know, some more years.

1:05:28Jarrell Miller:Yeah. Are they willing to do that?

1:05:30Shannon Sharpe:It doesn't seem like the Clippers are because the Clippers, you know, they're willing to trade him.

1:05:33Jarrell Miller:OK, right. And they started.

1:05:35Shannon Sharpe:I mean, they were they were looking good. I mean, they've been on a hot streak. They started off slow, but Kawhi's playing, scoring more points than he's ever had. James Harden's looking like an all star. Right. Even though neither player made the all star. I'm surprised that neither player made it since the game is going to be in their building. I thought one or the other would make it.

1:05:52Jarrell Miller:Would make it.

1:05:54Shannon Sharpe:But.

1:05:57Jarrell Miller:No, that's weird. If both are playing well right now and they look better than they did when the season first started, why would you want to trade him? I don't understand.

1:06:07Shannon Sharpe:Hey, James is a better facilitator than Garland. Look, he's not Houston James Harden, but he's not going to need to be. He's not going to need to be. They got Donovan Mitchell. They got those bigs. Jared Allen looked like Shaq last night against Portland. He had 40-something. Huh?

1:06:28Jarrell Miller:He had 40-something last night, didn't he?

1:06:30Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, he had 40 and 16.

1:06:37Shannon Sharpe:The Timberwolves are making a very aggressive push to sign Giannis before the Ring of Fame honorary, a former Pro Bowler and an All-Pro. That is Chad Ochocinco Johnson.
