In short

NFL injury and roster/starting-job talk plus off-field headlines and sports betting segments, framed by banter about travel, gambling, and tech.

Guests/backgrounds

No formal guest list is provided in the transcript. The hosts are “Joe” and “Ocho” (referred to as Uncle Joe/Ocho) plus occasional “Chad”/“Mike” voices. They discuss Brock Bowers as a Raiders player and share personal injury/athletic stories (Joe: ankle surgery in college; elbow/orbital bone surgery with plates/screws; Ocho: basketball/vertical and triple-jump background).

Key claims

  1. Brock Bowers (Raiders) had meniscus trim surgery in Dallas; expected to miss “a game or two,” possibly only one, and the hosts debate whether shaving cartilage is a long-term concern.
  2. Deshaun Watson received an 86-in-60 speeding ticket; hosts say it’s magnified due to being under a microscope and advise caution.
  3. Michigan QB Bryce Underwood’s starting job is “not infinite” per coach comments; hosts argue it’s a motivational tactic and discuss whether he could be benched despite NIL pressure.

Notable examples

  • Bowers’ 2025 knee issue limited him to 12 games; meniscus “cushion” concerns.
  • Watson’s quote about focusing on “now” and Ty Munger comparison.
  • Bryce Underwood discussion tied to coach Kyle Whittingham vs Sherron Moore, plus “Player Fade” betting lines (McCaffrey, Brock Purdy, Stafford, Miles Garrett).

2:41Shannon Sharpe:The Giants cornerback Greg Newsom says he believes that New York has the best cornerback room. Cowboys ride receiver George Pickens responded, that's definitely how he should feel. Now, how we should feel. I definitely say we completely different story. That's cool that he thinks that. Hey, hey. Hold on. He said New York move. He said the Giants got the best quarterback room. Over the Texans, over the Broncos. Hey, guess what? Guess what?

3:07Chad Johnson:We finna test their ass out come Sunday, okay? Over Seattle? Yeah, Sunday night. Over Philly? Hey, you know what? I like Greg Newsom. I like Greg Newsom. I like the confidence that he has. I like the belief in how he feels that the New York Giants have the best, you know, secondary or defensive back. But boy, you got one big test to be able to back that up. Come Sunday against the Cowboys because you won't be tested. Whether it's CD or whether it's pick. And you know one thing about it, it don't matter who them boys playing. They dicing or slicing up everybody. Y 'all already know. Oh, boy, you talking big.

3:48I hope they back it up. I sure hope so too.

3:51Shannon Sharpe:No, I don't. Ain't nobody asking him this.

3:55Chad Johnson:Oh, he just said out of the blue. That wasn't a question. He feeling good. He was feeling good. That's why he said it. He wanted the challenge. Then you say, hold on, hold on. Then you say Osho talks back all week to the DBs. Hey, he ain't starting that. That man said, yeah. Yeah, but see, this is out of character for him. I've never heard him be vocal about feeling a certain way. Like, if you a trash talker, hey, Joe, I came out the womb talking. Like, the doctor slapped me. I'm like, what? Is you good? Like, that's what I told him. Like, is you good? But I ain't never heard Greg Newsom talk like this.

4:29Now, he might do it on the field. But, I mean, with a camera in front of your face, Joe, that adds a lot of pressure. That's okay. You know, so now you got to go out there and play and back up, you know, what you're saying from the camera. So, again, now you're giving people ammunition.

4:41Shannon Sharpe:This is what Pickett's had to say. So, now you got me excited. Oh, it's him and CD. We definitely feel like we're the NFL's best wide receiver tandem. He said he doesn't watch much of the other tandems. Me personally, no. That's how good I think we are. I don't even really look at or watch other guys. He praised Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins, but added, I definitely think me and CD have made more splash plays.

5:01Chad Johnson:Mm. Mm. Man. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Hey, CD, who said that? CD or Pitt? Hey, Pitt. Hey, Pitt, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. NFL young boy, listen, you my boy. You my dog. You my dog. CD, y 'all boys like 1A, 1B. But 1A is Brother Chase and T. Higgins. You got to chill. Chill. And the one thing he said when it comes to making more splash plays, boy, have you not seen T. Higgins? Boy, have you not seen CD and Pete? Have you not seen Jamar Chase? Have you not seen CD and Pete? What you talking about? Boy, they been together one season. What were you talking about?

5:44Yeah, look how much damage they done done one season. Look how much damage they done done one season. And look how much damage we done done since they've been together. Man, come on, man.

5:50Chad Johnson:Stop playing with us, bro. You got to do your homework. Hey, Joe, let me tell you something. Hey, Joe, hey, Joe. Nah, I don't care about you getting pissed off. I'm going to tell you that right now. Hey, hey, hey. I want all the smoke on me. As a matter of fact, I'm climbing up the damn chimney. I'm looking for it, huh? Where you at? Where you at? Hey, Joe. Where you at? I'll tell you what, Joe. Hey, um, hey, um, how far are you from? And you know where we stay at, Joe? You know where we at, right? Okay, Joe, meet me in the lobby after the show. Stay left, partner. I'm going to be at the crap table.

6:15Chad Johnson:Just meet me down there. Yeah, come on.

6:18Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Yeah. Joe, you at the$50 crap table, Joe?

6:24Chad Johnson:I'm going to be down there at the crap table. I'm going to go down and shoot a little crap. Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe, hold on. Hey, Joe, hold on. What? Hey, Joe. How much money I told you I was coming to Vegas and I was taking out? Only how much? Two what? What'd you say? $200? $200. Look what they got on me. Yeah, yeah. Hey, Ocho, I can't gamble with you, though. Yeah. You told me you said you were going to teach me how to gamble. $200, you jank as hell. We ain't going to win nothing with$200. They're going to run us out of that in two minutes. Joe, time out. You know I ain't spending no more than$200.

7:00I can stand to lose $200. Anything outside of that, I can't do it, Joe.

7:03Chad Johnson:We're going to build a$50 table, Ocho. They look$200. that they finna run through that. Yeah. You gonna be playing with pressure. You ain't gonna really be, you know what I mean, loose and, you know, yeah. Oh, Joe, I'm gonna be loose because I got that lick in my system, Joe. What you, hey, Joe, he gotta bet the pass line. He can't even bet no point. Come on, man. You might, hey, hey, you might as well jump out there in the field area of the road. Just jump out there in the field.

7:33Shannon Sharpe:Bet the pass or don't pass line. That's all you got. And you bet the dope players like, hey, somebody going to be bad at you? Yeah. Hey, y 'all saying all these, I don't know what the hell y 'all are talking about.

7:45Chad Johnson:You need to come to the crap table, man, with at least$1 ,000 in here, man. $1 ,000. Oh, man, nigga.

7:54Shannon Sharpe:$1 ,000? $1 ,000. Yo, Ocho, that'd be good. That'd be good. That'd be good. You know what the problem is, Ocho? We turned that in about level$12 ,000, Ocho.

8:05Chad Johnson:There you go. You know what his problem is? He thinking about losing off dump. He ain't thinking about winning. He thinking about, man, I'm going to lose that. Man, you got to be a winner, homie. Joe, I heard the rules. The casino always wins. The house always wins. That's when you're greedy. When you're greedy, they always win. Don't be greedy.

8:25Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, you got to know where you're taking winners. It's like, hey, I don't want this much. Hey, you get this back right here, I'm out. I'm gone. Hey, Joe, do me a favor, right? Start with me at the Blackjack table, the$25 table.

8:40Chad Johnson:Blackjack? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So last time I was here in Vegas, boom, I took$200 out, profit$700, I walked away. Yeah, okay. All right, I got you. I got you. Okay, do me a favor. Let me hold$1 ,000. I got you. Say it later. When I'm going to get it back? When I'm going to get it back? $1 ,000.

9:01Shannon Sharpe:See, he already talking about what back. He just asked you for a thousand. No, we got winning. Hey, hold on, Joe. You just said it. It's a chance we can win 11, 12 ,000. So if I win 11, 12 ,000, I get your thousand back and walk away with 11. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

9:16Chad Johnson:I give you a thousand, you go gamble. Hold on, hold on. You know what? No, don't worry about it. I ain't got nothing for you. I can't, I can't. Because you're drinking, man. I can't be dealing with no little tight joker like you.

9:27Shannon Sharpe:How much you want back, Joe?

9:30Chad Johnson:Joe said you want half of it? Yeah, man. Okay, I give you$2 ,000. I give you$2 ,000 back. If I give you$1 ,000, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what I'm talking about. Give me some return on my investment. Yeah. Well, goddamn, Joe, I'm a rookie at the game, and you want to take the home. I know. You got the best chance of winning, too, guys who don't really play. They normally get out there and hit, don't they all?

9:54Shannon Sharpe:They do. But I know I ain't going to be at the table with him, so he used to find out if he did or not. Hey, Joe, I'm ready, Joe. I'm ready, Joe. I know that much for sure. Raiders All-Pro tight end Brock Bowers underwent meniscus trim Tuesday in Dallas. Dr. Daniel Cooper is now expected to miss a game or two. League reported Bowers got banged up at a little camp, and the injury was diagnosed last week in surgery and scheduled. The timing surprised many of Bowers entered camp feeling fully healthy following the 2025 knee problem that limited him to 12 games. should we be concerned because last year he got banged up with his knee this year he's having surgery on the knee before the season even starts yeah he got banged up in practice too and you know what I'm really not that worried because it's a little trim just a little trim of the manis it's like getting a haircut Uncle Joe you hear me now you're only missing two games and honestly he might only miss one honestly which is time and the way technology is so advanced right now.

10:58He might, he might recover a little faster than normal. I'm, I'm a little weary, but I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm not too worried though. And he young. So, you know, when you're young like that, but you heal, you heal like Wolverine. I know,

11:12Chad Johnson:bro. You heal like Wolverine. I know, but I'm worried. Oh, Joe, you know, I, it's tough, bro. Like you, you saying he may only be out two weeks. Hell this ain't, Hey, hey, if this young phenom, why am I rushing back? You know, maybe give him some time to really heal up all the way. That way when he get back out there, he can be close to what he was, you know, before he got hurt. So I think it's a big deal to me. I understand they not replacing it, they just shaving it down, but come on, man. Meniscus. Hey, and you know what? Kirk Cousins need every piece he can get. Especially that tight end. He need every piece.

11:52Especially that tight end. Yes. He got tied in. You know, I like, I like, brother, I think it's Trey Tucker, if I'm not mistaken. He went number one. Ooh, that boy. Hey. Hey, he can go, Joe. Ocho. Hey, he can go. Ocho, I seen that boy making some plays.

12:06Chad Johnson:You hear me? That boy can get up through that. He's a hell of a weapon to have. And we know Kirk Cousins going to throw it around the yard. But, man, without Brock Bowles back there, at that tight end, Ocho is going to be tough, bro. It gets sticky. Well, you know, you still got your top running back, you know, coming back off of Angle. Hold on, hold on. He going to be ready to play week one? I'm hoping so. I've seen him in practice. I've seen him in practice today. Well, he was out there.

12:37Shannon Sharpe:Oh, yeah, Mike, how you feeling about that? That's what your ass get. What happened? Mike was first. He drafted Brock Bowers. Oh, man. But here's what's my concern, Ojo. Yeah. That meniscus, that's that cushion.

12:51Chad Johnson:Yeah.

12:52Shannon Sharpe:That's what went out on me. That's what gives you that bone on bone. That's what gives you that arthritis. And they already done started shaving it. Now, normally it wears and tear as we get older. The last thing I want to do is to shave part of it. So now I got less than what I started with. Now, they found a way. Hopefully they can come up in the near future, find a way to regrow ligaments and stuff like that. Cartilage.

13:20Chad Johnson:Oh, it's coming.

13:21Shannon Sharpe:It's coming. Well, that's what I'm trying to hold up. That's what I'm trying to hold up. I might have to go to Japan if they done came up with it. But no, it's tough because it starts your career off like that. I didn't look, you know, he might go on and have a very productive. I had ankles started. My career kind of started off with ankle injuries. No knee problems. and I don't know, end up having a knee problem once I got to a... No, I did have a knee problem. I had MCL, meniscus. Yeah, that's what my stuff bagged me. Damn.

I convinced Carter it.

14:47Chad Johnson:Oh, here he go. I convinced Carter it. I convinced Carter. Here he go. What you talking about? Like you said, you convinced Carter a seven-foot rim. Yeah. I convinced Carter it. Oh, Joe. Joe.

15:00Shannon Sharpe:I don't know why.

15:01Chad Johnson:Come on. Come on, man.

15:03Shannon Sharpe:I don't know why you thought the Escalator couldn't get up like that. Who was the Escalator?

15:08Chad Johnson:Just me.

15:11Chad Johnson:Hey. Bam. Hey. Hey. Man, go on. But nah, Ocho. Hey, Uncle, what was your vertical at the combine? 37 and a half. That's pretty good.

15:22Shannon Sharpe:That's it? 37? That's good.

15:25Chad Johnson:37 is good, Ocho.

15:27Shannon Sharpe:Ocho. Joe. See, that's good for them because we standing flat footed. Now, if I were to run and jump, oh, I'm probably over 40.

15:34Chad Johnson:If you took a step, yeah. Yeah, Joe. I mean, I wasn't able to take a step. I did mine from, you know, standing still, Joe. They used to call me frog back in the day. What was your 40 inch? What was yours? It was only 40. It was only 42. 40 only? Man, man. Yeah, man. Man, man. Damn 42. Come on. Hey, Joe. Hold on, Joe. You know, I used to triple jump and high jump in high school. First of all, Joe, Joe, I was a three-time state champion to triple jump.

16:02Shannon Sharpe:Go look it up. I had to record. I was two-time state champion. The guy just broke my record two years ago. I had to record for like 36 years. Damn. Yeah. So that was for real. They had a big old article and everything on it. Yeah. Yeah. I was state champ, best performance trophy. I was the best triple jump in the state of Georgia my senior year. Damn. You were moving. Hey. Hey, Joe. You know when Unc played basketball, you know, back when he was growing up, you know they had the milk crates as a hoop, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. They cut the milk crates out the bottom. Yeah, yeah. You used to sit on the corner?

16:43Shannon Sharpe:I had one, though. No, we had a bicycle rim. We ducked all the spokes out of the bicycle rim. Yeah. And that's what y 'all did? Yeah. The hell? You ain't had no net? No, we ain't had no net. Hey, hold on. Then mama brought us a rim from Western Auto and a net for Christmas.

17:03Chad Johnson:Hey, hold on, Ocho. While you talking, though, back down there in Sweet Holes, boy, where my dad's out of the family, that's what we played on, crates. We had a full court. A crate here and a crate over there, and it was dirt. Yeah. In the country, why didn't them boys play on that crate back then?

17:21Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. I don't know where you think this money came from. Hold on. Let me get this straight, Joe. We have no indoor plumbing, no running water, but we're going to have chain dance. We're going to have basketball rims. You got to think about it, too. When you come from certain conditions like that where you're not able to afford stuff. Well, you're innovative. That's why we knocked the spokes out of them

17:47Chad Johnson:bicycle rims and put that up there. That's what we did. You do have to be innovative. The only thing I like about the bicycle rims, I like nits. I like to hear that thing. I like to hear that when I shoot. You know what I mean? When you got that bicycle rim, you don't even know what the damn ball went in. You're like, damn, did they go in?

18:08Shannon Sharpe:Hold on Joe Hey Joe y 'all had them double rims at y 'all pa's Yeah yeah they hard to shoot on I hate that double rim Hey Joe I like to hear this too That's paper crumpling that's money We didn't have that You talking about you like to hear the net I like to hear paper crumpling We didn't have that Yeah Break that down to the table tomorrow Ocho

That's all I'm saying. I ain't going to take no dummy hits. You let me know when to hit. I know you're supposed to do like this. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. All right. Yeah, yeah. You got it down? I got this too. I've been watching YouTube. I don't watch YouTube while I was on the plane. Come here.

20:02Shannon Sharpe:Throw them dice. There you go. There you go. There you go, Unc. No, no. No, they're too big and too square.

20:09Chad Johnson:He don't know, Unc. You know the boy don't know. Come on now. What kind? Oh, they got different size dice. Them big red block dice. Man, you have to set them. You know, get them right. Get you a nice little flip. A little roll. A little nice little. He don't know nothing about that, Unc.

20:23Shannon Sharpe:Okay. And they got to cross that line down to Ocho.

20:25Chad Johnson:Yeah.

20:26Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Yeah. What are we talking about, like, in the movie Harlem Nights?

20:30Chad Johnson:Yes. Yeah, you got to hit it off the wall down there. Yeah, where the man got his stick and he bring him back in? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, okay, okay. Benny Snake Eyes, he say he can call them before they stop rolling. That's Benny Snake Eyes? Yes, for sure. I've been calling the knife over 50 years. Hey, can you put your glasses back on for me, Benny?

20:52Shannon Sharpe:Hey, Joe said the Rams are taking a Qantas Airbus 380 from Los Angeles to Milburn. This is the largest, most expensive commercial passenger airliner ever built with enough live flat beds for every player and some coaches. But those planes also don't have Wi-Fi. It doesn't sound ideal for a 34-hour flight time in two to three days. Hold on, 34 hours to get over there? What? 17 hours there and about 17 hours back. I think it took us like 1836 to get over there. Damn. Hey, I know them boys. I know them players mad. Ain't no Wi-Fi. 17 hours. Hey, hold on. At least you get to lay down and relax. No, man.

21:36Shannon Sharpe:Oh, Joe. You done got so used to having Wi-Fi on the planes. Man, I be losing my mind when we don't have Wi-Fi from Vegas to L.A.

21:43Chad Johnson:Yeah.

21:43Shannon Sharpe:I can just imagine. Man, I be so mad when we coming back from New York, we be coming somewhere and they come out, we're sorry, but the Wi-Fi is not working on this flight. On this flight. Oh, my God. Hey, you wouldn't want to fly Frontier with me. Frontier got Wi-Fi, don't they? Allegiant and Frontier. Most of the planes don't, nope. Oh, no. Damn. Yeah, you're right. They're going to be comfortable. But, boy, look here. People don't really... I mean, you got to understand how far 17 I was here. Because I remember when we went to Australia, we went to Sydney back in 99. Man, I watched four movies, went to sleep, and we still had four hours to go.

22:28Shannon Sharpe:I was like, oh, hell no.

22:31Chad Johnson:Hey, them the worst flights, boy. When you think you've been asleep for a minute, you wake up, you're like, I hope we ain't got but like two hours.

22:38Shannon Sharpe:Damn, we still got six hours? Six. And I don't really sleep on the plane like that anyway because we went to, where we go? We went to France, and I ain't sleep a lick. Yeah. The whole trip over, I ain't sleep. I was just aggravating the hell out of Ash and Shelly. I go back there. I'm like, hey, you sleep? She's like, yeah, I was trying to. I said, oh, my bad. I ain't no.

23:02Chad Johnson:Hey, hey, you got a habit at that, don't you, man? You like messing with people when they sleep? Come on, man. What's wrong with your mans, Ocho?

23:11Shannon Sharpe:I can't sleep, Joe. So you feel like you can't sleep?

23:15Chad Johnson:I'm asleep. Ocho, when I get on the plane, I have no problem. I can sleep before the wheels off. He sure do. Oh, that's me. That's me, Joe. That's me. I had already told him. I had already told him. I'm going to be sleeping with the wheels up. Man, touching, tapping on me and everything. Man, come on, man.

23:30Shannon Sharpe:I had to ask you a question. But you know what? Don't worry about it. That lady going to wake you up and say, you know what? Look at her. He ain't got his seatbelt on.

23:41Hey.

23:42Shannon Sharpe:But that Airbus. Hey, Joe. I got to go. Hey, guys, we got to take Emirates. We got to do Emirates. We got to do Qantas. Or Qatar.

23:52Hey, Emirates or Qatar. They got a whole lounge on there. You can have these.

26:29Shannon Sharpe:So where we going? So we got to start playing it because, you know, y 'all don't like to play it. Y 'all like to wait the last minute. And then the tickets be$50 ,000,$70 ,000. Well, shoot. I guess the green house.

26:48Chad Johnson:Where we going? Where we going? I'm looking for a good time. I ain't going to lie to you. You hear me?

26:53Shannon Sharpe:You know me.

26:55Chad Johnson:Hey, Joe, we just had a good time last week. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I ain't going to lie. We did have a good time. We had a good time. But that wasn't that far.

27:01Shannon Sharpe:We got to go. We got to go far. That's what I'm saying. See, I'm not going to go to Dubai or Singapore or Hong Kong.

27:08Chad Johnson:Yeah. Yeah. That's what I'm talking about. Now, y 'all. See, that's the cool stuff I'm talking about. That's what I've been talking about.

27:15Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Well, hell no. I was going to probably get me a car, but I'm going to save my penis up and go on vacation. Hey, I tell you, well, listen, if we're going to travel, if we're going to go far, we might as well make it worth it. You know, hit Tokyo, hit China, something like that. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Yeah, we go to China, we can go to Hong Kong, Macau, something like that. Yeah. Dubai. I heard Dubai, Macau. Oh, no, I don't want to do Dubai. I'm sick of Dubai, man. You done been to Dubai? I don't want to do Dubai. Yeah, I've been there many times. I ain't never been there. I ain't either.

27:50Oh, okay. Okay, that's understandable. Okay, yeah, you'll like it. My bad. But you do. I ain't never been there.

27:55Shannon Sharpe:One thing about Ocho, Ocho ain't going to, but you know, Ocho, he go across, he go, hey.

28:01Chad Johnson:Oh, yeah, oh, yeah. Hold on. Wait, wait, time out, Joe. And both of y 'all already know, I only leave the States to go watch. Watch what? That's the only reason I've been all them places. That's it. You got to remember, I had to work in Qatar for a month and a half. with Fox.

28:17Shannon Sharpe:Cambodia, make him go. I was right down the street. Cambodia will get you to go. Oh, hey, you know where we can go? What's that? Kate Verde.

28:27Chad Johnson:Well, now you talking. Now you talking, but I like when you talk like that. Huh? Huh? Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. What Eddie Murphy tell Richard Pryor on Harlem Night? Shit, I like when you think like that. I like when you say shit like that. Yeah.

28:45Shannon Sharpe:Hey, Cape Verde it is. Cape Verde it is. Because that's right off the coast of Africa. So we ride over there. Go to the Seychelles. Go to the Amorphic, all that over the Amorphic coast.

28:58Chad Johnson:Yeah, my passport needs some stamps. What? Yeah.

29:04Hey, baby, if you watching, you can come too. Yeah.

29:09Shannon Sharpe:Let me go ahead. I'm going to start putting some money aside. I'm going to start putting about... between nine and ten. How much we need? I'm going to put like $1 ,500 a week aside. All right. All right. Well, wait. Man, them tickets, man, you know how much them tickets going to cost? Oh, yeah, they're going to cost. Oh, I get you a cheap ticket. My boy, my boy. I promise you, I'm going to be comfortable. It's going to be like I'm sitting on my damn couch at home. I'm saying, you got to pay a leave. like this here.

29:45Chad Johnson:Hey, you got to pay at least 10 bands to be like that, huh? 10? 10, 10. I wish it was.

29:51Shannon Sharpe:10 more. Hell, if it's 10, I'll bring three, four people with me. It'd be about 30. Hold on. 10 ,000 for what? A flight? Look up Emirates, how much an Emirates flight costs. Look up Japan, Singapore Air, Japan Air, Qantas. Man, you're talking about 25, 30, 40 ,000. Nah, ain't nobody got that kind of money for no flight, man. Look up Emirates. Hey, Chad, how much first class on Emirates or Qatar? $25 ,000,$30 ,000,$40 ,000. That's impossible. Come on now. Okay. I'm waiting to see the number. I'm waiting to see the number. Somebody gonna know.

30:36See? Flight's like$10 ,000.

30:39Chad Johnson:Hey, look, I did Emirates from Atlanta. First round, I mean, first class round trip flight. I'm going to say 26 bands.

30:49Shannon Sharpe:Thank you.

30:53Chad Johnson:It said it can climb to over 31 ,000. Thank you.

30:58Shannon Sharpe:I don't know who got to, y 'all got to hook up. They're fighting on the buddy pass for 10 ,000 on Emirates. Hey, well, that's y 'all. That's y 'all. I tell you what, I'd be in the back of the... Joe, I'd be at the back of the plane, I'm good. I'd be at the back of the plane, I'm sure I can get an exit row. I get an exit row for my$8 ,000.

31:23They pay, I'm paying$30 ,000 for a plane ticket. Hey, that's a whole car. They tell why he had the exit row. Hey, go ahead up there, exit row 09. They got to have exit row. That's where I be at. Hey, you got to be with exit row, I'm going to be with the luggage. One or the other.

31:41Shannon Sharpe:One-way standard international flight is somewhere between$8 ,500 and$25 ,000. Hey, you heard that first number you said? $8 ,500? That's where you going to be at? That's right. That's right where I fit in. Well, that's a long flight, Ocho. Dubai to Europe. Yo, I'm going to be asleep, Joe. Ocho, that's one way, Ocho. How you going to get back? How you going to get back? That's one way. I'm going to wait until the prices drop. USA to Dubai long haul from New York, JFK, Los Angeles is$85 ,000 to$17 ,000 one way. Round trips often start around$21 ,000 to$25 ,000. Oh, but you know what? I got some miles.

32:21Shannon Sharpe:I got two million miles I ain't used up. And I got three and a half million points. You're going to have to use all of them here. Hold on, Unc. You can transfer your points to a different airline? I don't know. I won't see. I got... Hey, them points. That American Expanded Points ought to let me do something with them. Okay. But I'm just going to go ahead. I'm going to start saving me$1 ,500 a week just to be safe. Yeah, yeah. I'm with you.

32:58Chad Johnson:I'm with you.

32:59Shannon Sharpe:That's all you got to do, Ocho? How about this here? Put$500 a week away then.

33:06Chad Johnson:For the next what? How long?

33:09Shannon Sharpe:We gonna probably be what you call it? Probably till next July.

33:15Chad Johnson:Yeah, that's when you have it saved.

33:20Chad Johnson:That's when we gonna have it saved up, Chad, to be able to go with that. Or at least to go for a damn round trip. It's gonna take us at least 30 bands. Come on, man. No, it ain't.

33:32Shannon Sharpe:Not if we... Hey, why we can't go to cheaper routes? I can't. I'm not cap-saccing. We'll meet you. Joe and I will meet you over there. Listen, we're going to be on the same flight. I'm going to just be in the back. I'm not tripping. I'm not tripping. I'm going to fly. What are you going to stay in? Where are we all staying? Just get double bed. What? What do you mean double bed? What double bed? What do you mean? Wait, I can't stay with y 'all? man. Ocho. So y 'all gonna make me, hold on, y 'all gonna make me get a room? Yes.

34:05Chad Johnson:Ocho. Ocho. Hold on, time out. So you think I'm gonna pay 8 ,500 and pay for a hotel?

34:09Shannon Sharpe:You gonna pay more than 8 ,500. 8 ,500 is one way.

34:15Chad Johnson:Well, y 'all ain't, y 'all don't, y 'all don't know me, but I ain't, I ain't spending nothing. Ocho, I gotta be comfortable, bro. I ain't, come on, man. What you want me to do? You want me to come on? Well, yeah.

34:26Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. I know I, hey, I'm good, but I'm gonna say 500 because they said you can't pay me, I'm You can transfer American Express points to any airline. So I know I'm good, but I'm going to go ahead and save me$500. It's been a while. It's been a while since I had to save money to get something I really, really wanted. I'm going to do it. I'm going to save$1 ,000 a week. So now y 'all got me thinking. If it costs$30 ,000, let's say to be in business class, first class, or up there in the whatever, how much would it cost to fly private per person?

34:58Chad Johnson:Oh, man, come on. to go to Dubai? Yeah, come on.

35:02Shannon Sharpe:Why are you watching him?

35:07Shannon Sharpe:Probably one way? Three passes? Nah, let's just say it's going to be 10 people. We're going to take a G650 or a business boy in general. You're probably looking at$200 ,000. Yeah, easy. Well, hell, if you're taking that many people, you're paying less and what you're paying for one flight. Yeah, but you, hey, you know seven other people?

35:37Shannon Sharpe:Because it's probably, it's probably between $10 ,000 and$25 ,000 an hour. It's going to take us 15 hours.

35:49Shannon Sharpe:That's it. Hey, I don't see how people do it, bro. I'm just being honest. You know, I look at all the people on Instagrams. They be, you know, getting on private I mean, I don't understand. Where you got to get to that important?

36:05Chad Johnson:Some people like the exclusivity of it. You know what I mean? They want to be exclusive.

36:09Shannon Sharpe:Hey, you ain't, hey. The meals. But hey, I heard Emirates and all these high-end airlines, the meals, they got private chefs preparing the meals, so I'm good with that. I don't need to take no private jet.

36:22Chad Johnson:I'm with you. That's far for it.

36:26Shannon Sharpe:I wouldn't take my sister or my brother on no flight like that. I'll have them fly on their own. I'm never going to have all of us on a flight together. My kids, never.

36:39Chad Johnson:Why you say that?

36:41Shannon Sharpe:Because I don't want something to happen and all of us go down.

36:43Chad Johnson:Oh, okay. Okay. I would never do that. Yeah.

36:48Shannon Sharpe:They'd have to understand.

36:52Shannon Sharpe:That's how a lot of people, that high-end people, Joe.

36:56Chad Johnson:Yeah.

36:56Shannon Sharpe:That's how they travel. Yeah. They take two jets, Ocho.

37:01Chad Johnson:Yeah. Two? Damn. Well, I can't wait. Hey, let me tell you something. We sit here going back and forth, you know, about prices. It's going to come a time, boy, about another year or two. We ain't going to think about no prices, boy. We're going to say we'll be going, and that shit's going to be good. I ain't going to lie to you, Ocho.

37:19Shannon Sharpe:I'm always going to think about prices. I ain't going to lie to you, Ocho. I'm always going to think about prices. I'm telling you. You got kids. You got more kids than I got. Kids don't think about prices. Adults think about prices. So you're not understanding. You're not understanding the blessing that is. I'm with you. Trust me. Hey, Joe, when I tell you, Joe, the cup is finna runneth over. I believe you, Joe. I'm with you. Hey, that man, he finna turn one into two. Hello. And that two is three. Don't play with it. The man turned water into wine, man.

37:58Chad Johnson:My grandma always told me she said he work in mysterious ways, okay? I'll tell you, and one thing about it, he might not come if he wanted, but he's always on water.

38:07Shannon Sharpe:Hello. Hello. Hello. Deshaun Watson was sighted going 86 in a 60-mile zone on I-480 outside of Cleveland on 826. Watson was pulled over the day before the Browns' final preseason game. Despite the ticket, Watson claims he's all about the present. Let's take a listen. Yeah, I mean, I can't focus on the future. I got to focus on now. You know, if I try to look ahead and I get distracted on not focusing on what I need to do now, then, you know, who knows what the future might hold. So all I can do is control these moments now, these opportunities I have now. And I want to be just like Ty Munger said, like, you know, he's 60.

38:47He feels like this is a shot. So, you know, me being on my last year of my deal and, you know, being year 10, I feel like this is my opportunity to be able to go and showcase that I can still play in this league. And I want to continue to play in this league. So this is my opportunity to do that.

39:04Shannon Sharpe:Ain't no news. Somebody got a speed ticket. That ain't no damn news. Right. Well, I guess it is because who it is. I mean, how many speed tickets you think they ride in Cleveland today?

39:17Shannon Sharpe:One? So let me guess, on August 26th, they only wrote one ticket, and it just so happened it was Deshaun Watson.

39:26Chad Johnson:Yeah. Well, okay, Ocho, y 'all know the narrative. You know, when you live in that fishbowl, everything that you do will be magnified. I'm sorry. You're right about that. That's just what it is. It's just, hey, hey, hey, he's under a microscope right now, obviously with a lot of pressure to come out and perform. You just heard him say, look, he still wants to play, and he's going to try to relish this opportunity to show that he can still play and be a high-caliber NFL quarterback. So respect to Deshaun Watson, bro. I hope he goes out there and plays well. I understand he has a lot of pressure on him on the show, and I couldn't think about it.

40:03Chad Johnson:He's in last year of his deal with probably more pressure than anybody in the NFL, bro. You know what I mean? So kudos to the young man. The speeding ticket I ain't necessarily worried about, but y 'all know. They're going to point out everything, bro.

40:16Shannon Sharpe:Everything.

40:17Chad Johnson:Yeah. Yeah.

40:19Shannon Sharpe:He leave a tip. He left. Deshaun Watson left$500 tip. Deshaun Watson threw trash and littered. Got a ticket for littering.

40:29Chad Johnson:Yeah.

40:30Shannon Sharpe:He understands it comes with the territory. Yep. So, Deshaun, if anybody can give you any advice, bro, just, hey, I know you probably in a hurry to go somewhere, but just be careful, bro. Everything you do. Ain't nobody – they're not giving you no warning.

40:44Chad Johnson:No, son. unfortunate

40:48Shannon Sharpe:they're not giving you no warning so just be smart what do you want to say he can get a warning you know how he can get a warning or win some games hey 913 at 10am well 1 o 'clock actually if you're on the east coast against Jacksonville get you a W 920 at 1am 1 p.m. Again, Tampa Bay. Get you a W. Yeah, okay. And let him stop you again. Oh, hey, how you doing, Mr. Watson? Boy, you played well them first two weeks. You hear me? Appreciate that. Do me a favor. I'm going to let you go this time. I'm going to just give you a little warning. I'm going to go ahead and slow down for you, boy. All right?

41:30Hey, good luck again, Carolina, on week three. Come on, man.

41:38Come on, man.

41:40Shannon Sharpe:Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham said quarterback Bryce Underwood's starting job is not infinite. Check out Bryce's reaction to the news. Let's listen to this. It's not great. What's your reaction to McCut McGann's comments about how your job is impermanent? There was comments about that. Yeah, he said that your job is infinite. That's the starter. That's cool. I see that. What's your reaction? It's cool.

42:14what is he doing after week one as a coach why you even say something like that I understand how bad he played I understand how bad he played they played West Michigan right yeah I understand how bad he played do you want to come out as a coach and say something like that the difference is Kyle Whittingham

42:38Shannon Sharpe:excuse me chat Kyle Whittingham isn't tied to Bryce Underwood like Sherron Moore was. Well, I'll tell you one thing. Hold on. Let's say he's not tied to Bryce Underwood. What should plan B? Is the person sitting behind Bryce Underwood if he chooses to get up and say, you know what, I don't want to be here no more, I'm gone. Hey, hold up, though. Is he better? Go ahead, Joe. I'm going to let Joe respond first. Now you're putting him out.

43:10Chad Johnson:I'm saying, I know this hypothetically speaking, because I don't think that Bryce Underwood will lose his job. But if he loses his job, does, excuse me, does that play a fact to his NIL money? He got that coming. It don't matter. So that man ain't losing his job, bro. I think coaches try to find different ways to try to motivate him. try to motivate guys and they never want to see a guy complacent you know what I mean and so this may be another tactic bro I can't come on now hey Joe he can't be complacent making that kind of money yeah he can Ocho when you run into that amount of money at that young of an age you don't know and understand you know what I mean like come on bro it's possible but Joe he the quarterback at the big house, Joe.

44:06Chad Johnson:This ain't going to go anywhere. I know, Ocho. I'm just saying, bro. You know, I feel like the type of money that these guys make, it takes some of the oomph away from it. You know what I mean? It has to, bro. Some of that fire, huh? If you're making$10 -$12 million a year in college, Ocho, come on, bro.

44:24Shannon Sharpe:I disagree with you guys. I think there's an absolute chance that he gets benched. Really? And who's going to take his place? I can't be afraid of that. If you're a coach and you're afraid of, like, who's going to take his place, you can't win like that. You can't. He's not playing well. I can't win games with him playing like this, Ocho. Go ahead. Okay, okay. We won, huh? Ocho, he played. Did you see him last year? Did you see him last year? He was bad. Yeah. Chad, did I miss something? He was bad last year, and he picked right up. He was bad this year. The Hail Mary bailed him out.

45:13Chad Johnson:You ain't lying, boy. Yeah. Ooh, he knew it too.

45:21Shannon Sharpe:The one thing as a coach, you cannot be afraid. You cannot be afraid to go for it on fourth down. You can't be afraid to make calls. You can't be afraid of the fake field goal, fake putt, the runner blitz. You cannot be afraid to bench a player. You can't be, especially if that player. So you're telling me the player that's – I can't do any worse? The unk.

45:43Chad Johnson:Do you see the money that a young man making?

45:46Shannon Sharpe:They eat that. Larry Ellison, the fifth of the sixth richest man in the world. He worth over$200 billion. What's$10 million to him? A guy worth$200 billion, Joe, what's$10.5,$12 billion to it? It ain't nothing to him. He got that in the mattress. Yeah, tell him to slide that to me. I can use that. We all could. We can use that$200 billion too while you're at it. Hello. Hello. I don't want that much because it's going to be all the time. Hey, boy, what's up? Where you been at, bro? Who is this? who oh now you got the wrong number my boy hey oh the business somebody say you worth a billion oh I'm changing all my numbers it's a wrap

46:36Chad Johnson:hey they gonna be at the front door yeah what y 'all got going

46:45Shannon Sharpe:hey but you see how oh he said that yeah

46:52Chad Johnson:he didn't sound like he was too fond of neither. Hell no. Yeah. Probably not. I mean, coach could at least put him aside and told him something, huh? Nah, nah. Just a little tactic. A little tactic. Okay, Ojo. Hey, I like that, Joe. That little tactic. Light a little fire running. But also, listen, lighting that fire that could also add a little bit more pressure. It's already enough pressure playing in Michigan as it is as a starting quarterback. So now your coach has said your job might be in jeopardy. Now you go out there, you press. Not only do you press, you're scared to make some of the throws that we know you can make.

47:27I mean, I know Uncle said, did you see him last? He was trash. But obviously, coming to the new year, you want to play better. You didn't get off to a good start. And then now you're co-saying this after week one. And we chalked it up.

47:37Shannon Sharpe:We gave him the benefit of the doubt, said he's a freshman and that he's going to get better. Yeah. Well, he needed to make some improvement. And I mean fast. Yeah. Because guess what? Damn. Bad quarterback play, get who fired, Ocho?

47:49Chad Johnson:Coach. The coach. Jack, get you out of there. He didn't recruit him, though, did he?

47:56Shannon Sharpe:No, that's why I said he's not tied to him. Yeah, yeah. Jerome Moore recruited him. Yeah, got a point. He was damn near all but gone to LSU.

48:07Chad Johnson:And they probably watched, not probably, but I'm sure the new coach watched a lot of film on him from last year, too. He probably got a short leash. You're probably right. Absolutely. You're probably right. Probably right.

48:21Shannon Sharpe:Now it's time for Player Fade presented by Prize Picks Uh oh

48:43Shannon Sharpe:Christian McCaffrey will he have more or less than 39 and a half yards. More or less, Joe. More.

48:51Chad Johnson:And receiving yards, right?

48:52Shannon Sharpe:Yes.

48:54Chad Johnson:And Ocho, you say more? Hey, absolutely. Well, he's the big part of the passing offense.

49:00Shannon Sharpe:All right, we're going to go more. All right, Brock Purdy, more than 242 and a half passing yards. Oof. That's tough.

49:12Chad Johnson:Who they playing? Who they playing?

49:14Shannon Sharpe:The Rams? Oh. that's the game tomorrow hey

49:21Chad Johnson:that's on you I'm going to keep it real I don't think he's going to have no 242 on

49:27Shannon Sharpe:alright we're going less Matthew Stafford one and a half touchdown passes more or less than one and a half touchdown passes

49:35Chad Johnson:yes he'll have at least two hope he throws two to Puka

49:40Shannon Sharpe:I bet you do hope he throws two oh okay Miles Garrett One and a half sacks, more or less.

49:55Debut? I'm going to say yeah. What did you think of, Joe?

50:05Chad Johnson:I'm going to go yeah, too.

50:11Chad Johnson:You saying two sacks, you don't think you're going to get it?

50:15Shannon Sharpe:Aaron Donald on the side of it. I think they go.

50:17Chad Johnson:Aaron ain't going to be there, is he?

50:19Shannon Sharpe:No, he didn't make the trip. AD said, I'll see y 'all when y 'all get back. I ain't taking that long flight with no one.

50:32Shannon Sharpe:Alright, I'm going to go more. So we going more, less, more, more. $25 to win $275. Download the app today. Use code Shannon to get$150 in lineups after you win your first$5 lineup. Now, it's time for Q and A.

51:04Dr.

51:05Shannon Sharpe:Frank L. Bellamy asks, hey fam, have y 'all seen the new iPhone Duo? And if so, are y 'all getting it?

51:11Chad Johnson:I seen it. No. I seen the new iPhone, the flip joint. Now, look, I'm still on like the 13. I still got a 13. I need an upgrade. You like the phone? Yeah, I might get it, Ojo. Hey, but hold on. Hold on, Joe. Joe, you not tech savvy. Not the way Yahoo is picking your fantasy ground.

54:25Shannon Sharpe:Come on. Come on.

54:27Chad Johnson:Come on. Come on. Come on. I'm going to get a little payment plan. A little payment plan, Ojo. A little payment plan. But hold on, Joe. They ain't got no case for it yet, huh? How they going to have a case for something that fold? I don't know. They going to come out with something. You know they coming out with something now. I like gadgets. I like electronics. Yeah, see, I'm still on 15.

54:52Shannon Sharpe:I'm going to be on 15 when they get to 20, too. Watch. I don't do nothing but call. I don't do nothing but call or text. Google.

55:01Chad Johnson:Hey, we can't get no deal. We can't get no deal from Apple? Hey, hey, hey. Hey, hold on. I know what we do need a deal for, though. That new Xbox about to get ready to come out. Google. Bro, what you need, Joe? You know that's right up my alley. Microsoft. There we go. Yeah, we need Microsoft Connect. Who got to connect?

55:23Shannon Sharpe:We'll see what we can do. Hello? You talking to the gamer right here? Hey, I need that new Xbox, Ojo. I got you, Joe. I mean, I got to wait. They ain't even had no review.

55:32Chad Johnson:Yeah, I know, but you know they're going to try to bring it out around Christmas time so they can get everybody to buy it. Hey, that's exactly what normally happens. Yeah.

55:42Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, I'm just... No, I can't. Like I said, all that technology is too much for me. Hey, you know what? You know what I forgot to do, too? I ain't done this in a long time, Uncle Joe. Hey, what you call a$2 chicken?

56:00Chad Johnson:A$2 chicken.

56:04Chad, what y 'all call a$2 chicken?

56:10Shannon Sharpe:A chooster. Cock-a-doodle-doo. Uh-uh.

56:18Chad Johnson:I know it's something to hold on. No, it ain't. No, it ain't. No, it ain't. Let me know when y 'all ready, because y 'all taking long now. I ain't got nothing for you. I ain't got nothing. Hey, a$2 chicken is called a buck buck.

56:39I knew it was something. You get it? Yes. Hey, buck buck buck. But you got to sound like a buck buck.

56:49Shannon Sharpe:Brendan Crowe, 34-03, says, May height was too big, too fast. You have to understand the game situation. Down a distance field position to score. they had three points in their pocket. They absolutely did. I don't understand it. I don't understand why he would make that throw. Why he would attempt to make that throw. And I'm sure. Wait, which one? The one that at the end of the game. Yeah. Oh. Hey, hold on. Pressure in his face and throwing off his back foot? That's why the ball fell short. I can see what he thought. Understanding that Mac Hollins is tall and he had an advantage. but throwing off your back foot, the ball falls short and it's going out of bounds.

57:30Chad Johnson:And what he's speaking to is the fact that they made it to the Super Bowl. He's talking about that hype. He's talking about that hype train that everybody been on. Okay, okay.

57:43Shannon Sharpe:Draft Trinidad Chambliss, made out of there looking like Levis. Nah, hell nah. Nah. It's his first game, but he got to be better than this. He got to be smarter. He's too good of a player to make the mistakes that he was making tonight. That's what's frustrating. I think that's what's disappointing. I think his coaches are going to have a conversation with him. You're better than this. You're so much better than this to make that mistake. The tip ball at the end, you know, you got a bad drop and you had another interception. All that could have been forgotten. If you win this game, you get this field goal, you win in the overtime.

58:20Shannon Sharpe:Who knows? Anything can happen. You might get the kick off and run it all the way back for a touchdown. You never knew. But you didn't afford us that opportunity with that turnover. The grass isn't always green on the other side. Shame on you, Ocho, and the media for gassing up AJ to be in the same situation he left. Ain't nobody gassed up AJ. AJ gassed up AJ. it's been one game he talked about some gas what we got 17 more weeks to go what is you talking about even if we got 34 ain't nobody gas up AJ this is what AJ wanted yeah he hears us what we say of course a lot of players do we ain't got no control over that he wasn't happy there for whatever reason whatever reason insert whatever reason why AJ Brown no longer wanted to be in Philly.

59:19Shannon Sharpe:If that's what you want to go with, go with that. But Ocho and I ain't have nothing to do with that. Yeah, but I did guess if they're going to get a lot more catches, a lot more touches. They throw the ball at a much higher rate than the Eagles do. Yeah, that's not gas, and those are actual facts and the type of offenses each team runs. So what you talking about? Yeah, get your facts together. All I need next is my giant serving up ISO and his cowgirls with Big Fat L on Sunday. Whoa, whoa, watch him out. Watch him out.

59:52Chad Johnson:I'm talking about cowgirl. Come on now. Come on now. Come on now.

59:56Shannon Sharpe:Y 'all not them boys no more, Joe. We been them boys. We still them boys. Yeah. When? How long? So what's the shelf life? What? What's the shelf life? 30 years? After 30 years, you don't win a Super Bowl in 30 years, you can't be the boys no more, Joe. He you go talking about all those stuff again. See what I'm saying? We in 2026. We ain't got but a few more money. Y 'all went up in 06 and 16, and now we're in 26.

1:00:21Chad Johnson:Look, look, look, look. Just relax, Turbo. Slow down. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Everything comes in due time. We're not in a rush. We're not in a rush.

1:00:32Shannon Sharpe:Tell that to Jerry. Hey, Joe. I'm with you, Joe. You might not be in a rush, but tell that to Jerry. Hey.

1:00:42Chad Johnson:Oh.

1:00:45Shannon Sharpe:We beat the Patriots with a backup quarterback. JSN still him. The dark side still scary. We good, y 'all. Yes. I wouldn't be surprised. I don't know who they play. If it's somebody that they think they can beat with Drew Locke, they give another week off. Because the last thing, you don't want to bring a quarterback back and have something linger. Yeah. The last thing I want that to have happen is to linger. So all things being equal, if I don't know who they play next, Cardinals, if they play a division opponent, Let him rest. Maybe they ride Drew Locke again because I thought he looked good tonight.

1:01:19Shannon Sharpe:But Drew Locke has been a start in this league. He's matured. He played really, really well. He has a great command of this offense. So I can see Drew Locke getting another start. Patriot fans spent eight months in denial about their cupcake schedule. Now look at them. Took an L to a backup quarterback. Don't ever put Drake made the same sentence as Bo Nix again. Hold on now. That Seahawks defense different now. Hey. Hey. Hey. Make sure. Be careful now. Be careful now. Well, hey. Don't both niggas got to face... Kansas City. Oh, Andy Reid? Yeah, they got Kansas City. Yeah. Yeah, okay. Oh, Anderson, Kansas City?

1:02:07Be careful. What you wish for?

1:02:09Shannon Sharpe:Three interceptions in the fourth alone is still lost by three. is mad unfortunate shaking my head. This loss is on Drake May. Yeah, he didn't play well. He didn't. Made no way around it. He hurt his team tonight. Sure did.

1:02:27Shannon Sharpe:Niners giving that belt tomorrow. Bang, bang. Not a game. Hold on.

1:02:33Chad Johnson:Who Niners play?

1:02:34Shannon Sharpe:The Rams.

1:02:36Chad Johnson:I don't know about all that. I don't know. Hey, I think it's going to be a repeat of what we saw tonight. Defense, defense, defense, defense, defense. A little bit here on the run. Short passes. Who short passing? You think Stafford finna be out there short passing? Yeah. Yeah, they finna dig and dunk. Smoke screen. You know, what you call the thing? When you jab twice and you come and jump.

1:03:05Shannon Sharpe:What you doing about that Zorro ride, Joe?

1:03:07Chad Johnson:Yeah, Zorro. That's what you talking about?

1:03:09Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. You got the Zorro. They do a lot of whip. They do a lot of in and out action. Don't you know that whip route? Yeah. Yeah. All that little short stuff, then they going to run the ball a little bit with Kyron Williams. Boom. They going to try play action. That play action stuff ain't working this early in the season. Them boys finna be back deep, boy. Drake, May, Crawfish, and Touffe, he can't play. Seahawks by three. Oh, man.

1:03:34Chad Johnson:Hey, hey, hey, look. Look, this era different, bro. That social media era, you can't have not one bad game, boy. They on you. Hey, they acting like it's in the world, boy.

1:03:45Shannon Sharpe:They better play that Evelyn Champagne King song in the locker room. Shame.

1:03:52Shannon Sharpe:That's the jam, too.

1:03:57Shannon Sharpe:Big three, congrats on Spike and viewership these past three weeks. People love seeing the rides more than enjoying watching the fall. So keep your multi-year mega deal is inevitable. Keep rising. Appreciate it, Marcus. Thank you, bro. Yeah, we see that. It's been really great. It's been great to see what's been happening. It would be so appreciative that the fans appreciate the content that Ocho, Joe, and myself have been continuing to put out. Hopefully, you know, yeah, we break down games, but we share stories and we tell stories and we have fun. Hopefully we entertain you all the while while educating and informing you.

1:04:38Shannon Sharpe:So we appreciate that support.

1:04:46Shannon Sharpe:Subway should be looking to how Drake may have to throw in all those meatball subs all game long with extra cheese.

1:04:52Chad Johnson:Come on, man.

1:04:57Shannon Sharpe:Boy, chat, y 'all ain't ish.

1:05:02Shannon Sharpe:God, I'm told that man he's throwing meatball subs. Oh, man. What up, Nightcap fam? Ocho, Ocho Aiso, please keep me in your prayers. I lost my mother yesterday. Just saw her the night before on Labor Day. I'm staying strong. Eric, man, we're so sorry to hear that, bro. We saw her. My condolence. Yeah, we're definitely going to keep you in our thoughts and prayers. And, man, And that's tough. That's tough losing a parent. And it sounds like it was so unexpected because you say you had just seen it the night before. And that's what I tell people. Ain't nobody promised you nothing. God ain't promised nobody tomorrow.

1:05:39Shannon Sharpe:That's why you got to love and enjoy everything today. Today is the most important day of your life. Oh, man.

1:05:48Shannon Sharpe:So our thoughts and prayers go out to you, Eric. You know, we're playing for your family. Everybody send your thoughts and prayers out to Eric. Lost his mother the other day. Which player injury will impact the team more, Sam Darnold or A.J. Brown? Probably Sam Darnold. Nah, it all depends. Ash, if you don't mind, pull up a schedule for us. Depends on who they're playing and how tough the schedule. A.J. Brown is really the only big favorite receiver they got.

1:06:26Mac, Romeo Dubs Pop Douglas They got some decent boys AJ's your one

1:06:34Shannon Sharpe:You need your one He's your table setter

1:06:38Chad Johnson:You might be putting too much stock In Drew Locke

1:06:42Shannon Sharpe:That's what I'm saying I want to know who they be playing I was going to tell you I just need him to hold a fort down. Can he hold a fort down two to three weeks for me? I'm not saying I'm trying to run a quarter of the schedule, half the schedule off with Drew Locke. But if I can get two or three games, if I can squeeze two or three games, make sure Sam Darnold come back healthy, I'll be all right. Because like you said, we got an outstanding defense. As long as we don't turn the ball over and put the ball in harm's way, they got a great chance to win a lot of ball games. Absolutely. Oh, yeah.

1:07:21Shannon Sharpe:Hey, Big Three, which game are you most looking forward to watching Sunday? Been riding with you guys since day one, still to the end. 24 months to date.

1:07:30Chad Johnson:Come on, man. Stop playing. What game are you most looking forward to? What you mean, what game are we looking forward to watching Sunday? What you think? The Cowboys? Finna get on them Giants? That's what we looking forward to. Who they? Who they think they're going to beat them Bengals? nobody. What you talking about, man? Huh? I can't wait. Hey, Joe, when we get on this thing Sunday night, boy, I'm finna be on 10 ,000, boy. I'm telling you, bro. You might wanna slow down, Turbo. Now, you kicking up a lot of dust back then. Hey, Joe, let me tell you something. Anything I say, I'm guaranteeing them boys deliver like Amazon, boy.

1:08:07I'm telling you. All right.

1:08:11Chad Johnson:Don't wait. Hey. Tell you, boy.

1:08:14Shannon Sharpe:They got some games. If we do. There ain't really no bad games. Obviously, there's some games like, oh, they ain't really got no interest because neither one of these teams are probably going to go anywhere. But it's football Sunday.

1:08:27Chad Johnson:Yeah.

1:08:28Shannon Sharpe:It's the open look. Everybody, look. Tonight's game, but when you got a slate of games.

1:08:34Chad Johnson:Yeah.

1:08:35Shannon Sharpe:You know what I'm saying, guys? You got a slate, a full slate of games. Everybody's playing. That's one thing. Ain't no bye weeks. Everybody going to play. between now and Monday, everybody's going to be either 1-0 or they're going to be 0-1. It doesn't get much better than that. I know who's going to be 1-0. I don't know about y 'all teams. A.J. Brown faked the injury all last season and finally got his wish. Go Birds. Oh, man. Boy, they hard on A.J. Brown. Who the Eagles play?

1:09:11Chad Johnson:I don't know who they play.

1:09:15Chad Johnson:Let's see here. They open up against them.

1:09:27Shannon Sharpe:The Commanders. Yeah. That's going to be a good game. Yeah. Yeah. It's going to be a good one. Battle of the quarterbacks. They got the Commanders, the Titans, and then the Bears.

1:09:46with them bears finna make some noise boy alright

1:09:54Shannon Sharpe:how did Jadarian Price look in his NFL debut fast I think he gonna be okay Ocho yeah yeah he fast that's the first thing as soon as he got the ball I'm like man who in the hell is that why he hitting corners boy you're on you're on yeah look the Patriots are not an easy team to run against the one thing that the Patriots they play a 3-4 defense they're very stout against the run guys set the edges really really well they attack the football they're really good tackling so but I think he's going to be fine that's why they were not afraid to late K3 whoa yeah no they weren't not at all oh what did you eat week one of 1995 that made you go for 180 also any other game one stories from y 'all Ocho and Iso I ate the same thing I always ate I always ate french toast with no syrup with bananas oatmeal and egg whites one glass of orange juice glass of water damn

1:11:09Chad Johnson:I try to keep it I try to keep it light on game days I don't like to have a lot on my stomach You know when I'm about to play I couldn't like I would see guys in locker room Eating chicken fingers and burgers and all that An hour before the game Bro I don't want nothing on my stomach Nothing I don't want nothing on my stomach before I hoop

1:11:31Shannon Sharpe:Yeah I mean The thing was Joe I mean I ate I mean I was eating it

1:11:42Shannon Sharpe:I would eat my meal we play at 2 o 'clock I probably ate 9.30, 9.45 at the latest I'm going to eat at 10 o 'clock so I'm going to have a good 4 hours for that thing to be down I don't want nothing to my stomach either

1:12:01Chad Johnson:we play at 7 o 'clock after shoot around we may have a shoot around at 10 o 'clock It may last about an hour. I'm going to eat right after shoot around, go home, take that big boy nap. That was a wrap. When I get up, I ain't eat no more. I'm going straight to the ring to get to it.

1:12:15Shannon Sharpe:That's it, Joe?

1:12:16Chad Johnson:That's it, man. I can't play with a lot of them. I can't. I like to feel like light out there. You know what I mean? Yeah.

1:12:24Shannon Sharpe:And then you eat something big after the game while you eat a big meal after the game.

1:12:27Chad Johnson:Boy, I have a nice big meal after the game now. I be starving after the game. I ain't going to lie to you. Hey, hey, boy, I'm going to tell you something. You catch me after a game and I done play like some boo-boo, some stir-fry. Okay, Ocho. Yeah. I starve my damn self. I don't deserve to eat. Yeah. I used to have them type of, you know what I mean? Like, I used to be so mad at myself sometimes. Man, that's how I am, Joe. That's how I am.

1:12:50Shannon Sharpe:Hey, man, we going to eat. I say, y 'all want to be seen in public after the way y 'all play? Man, take y 'all ass home and hide. The hell? Man, I don't want to be seen with y 'all. I don't know.

1:13:04Chad Johnson:It's hard, but when you take one of them bad L's and you're talking about, man, I ain't going no day. I'm going home.

1:13:12Shannon Sharpe:The Patriots are fool's gold. Drake May is an average quarterback. Guys, it's one game. It's one game. He sure look average. I don't think Drake May is average. I think he had a bad game. I think he made some bad decisions. And they punished him for it. Because a lot of times guys make bad decisions, Ochoa and Joe, and they don't get punished for those mistakes. Every mistake that he made tonight, he got punished for. Punished for, yeah. And that's how you teach a quarterback a lesson because a lot of times they won't learn their lesson because they got away with said mistakes. He didn't get away with nothing.

1:13:47Chad Johnson:You can't, hey, hey, hey, when you're on the road in a hostile environment like Seattle, come on, bro. Yes. You can't, you can't turn, not one mistake.

1:14:00Shannon Sharpe:caught myself with some toes in my mouth doing a mean demonstration in Spain the other day. That don't make me no bad brother. Just make me a bad brother. That's what he's asking, Joe. He said if he had some toes in his mouth doing a mean demonstration in Spain, does that make him a bad brother? In Spain? Yeah.

1:14:18Chad Johnson:It don't make him no bad brother, man. He's overseas. Overseas don't count. It don't count. Why it don't count?

1:14:26Shannon Sharpe:Because that's across the water. Hey. Honestly, boy, you got them toes in your mouth, boy, it don't matter where you at, boy. It don't matter where you at on the continent, boy. That's how it's supposed to be. That's a normal thing. Joe, boy, yeah, that's kindergarten stuff, man. What are you talking about, kindergarten to me? Man, that's the basics, Joe. That's the basics.

1:14:50Chad Johnson:Okay. That's the basics. A little foot in your mouth. especially if she got that pinky toe on her that pinky toenail on her pinky she got them french tips on her she got that manicure right man you better start with that pinky toe work it way south what you talking about

1:15:08Shannon Sharpe:nah only two I mean the pig feet pig feet listen if you can eat pig you hear me if you can eat chitlins and all that good stuff

1:15:20Chad Johnson:I can't believe I used to eat pig feet Bro, my grandma used to have me eating pig pee. Yo, you don't eat pig pee? Not that I done got older and I know what's going on? Nah. Hell nah. Nah, Joe.

1:15:31Shannon Sharpe:I know what's going on too. Give me one of the pig pee some hot sauce. I'll show you what's going on. Honey, I don't even need no, I don't even like no hot sauce, Joe. Just give it to me plain, Joe. Man, give it to me right out the jar. You hear me? I'll shake that thing off. They got them at Costco. Yeah. Yeah, with the blue top, the job with the blue top. I'm talking, hey, Unk, them things that get that wax paper, Joe, you going to that convenience store and get them tongs.

1:16:00Chad Johnson:Unk, Ocho, I'm talking about me and my grandma, bro. That was routine. You hear me? I would die on some pig feet when I was a kid. Boy, nah, I promise y 'all can't get me to do that now.

1:16:12Shannon Sharpe:No, son.

1:16:15Shannon Sharpe:These pig tails, too.

1:16:18Chad Johnson:Yeah, yeah. Green, Joe?

1:18:35Shannon Sharpe:That completes this episode of Nightcap. The Seattle Sioux Hawks start their defense. They ain't trying to defend nothing. You can't take that title back. but they're trying to embark upon another championship, and they start off the season with a 13-10 victory. They've sacked Drake May three times. They pick him off three times, and that's enough to hold on to win. Drew Locke came in for an injured Sam Darnold, 16-22, 187, one touchdown. But they get enough to win. The defense for Seattle was suffocating tonight, and that was the difference in the ballgame. 13-10 Seattle wins the ballgame. Thank you for joining us for another episode of Nightcap.
