In short
Cleveland Browns QB competition and NFL quarterback development; Colts’ Anthony Richardson situation; Buffalo Bills stadium obstructed-view complaints.
Guests/backgrounds
The episode is hosted by Ocho (former NFL player) and Joe (former NFL/NBA veteran mentioned; long pro career). They also reference “Joe Barry”/Andrew Barry (GM) and Todd Monken/Stefanski in discussion, plus an Ian Rapoport report and Mary Kay Cabot source.
Key claims
- Browns: Deshaun Watson allegedly knew he’d take first-team reps before Todd Monken told media it was Shadour Sanders’ day; hosts argue the communication was handled dishonestly “above” the coach’s pay grade, likely due to business/Watson’s $46M status.
- Colts: Anthony Richardson has been demoted to third-string, appears “checked out,” and will likely be traded or released; hosts call him “cooked” and blame insufficient NFL processing/retention development and rushed playing time.
- Bills: Highmark Stadium obstructed views are criticized; hosts speculate the seats are intentionally positioned to block sightlines.
Notable examples
- Browns: Watson switching to “ones” about noon, ~45 minutes before media comments; “QB1 job to lose” framing.
- Colts: Richardson’s off-season trade request; comparison to QB development patience (Mahomes, Reid/Brady examples).
- Bills: Viral obstructed-seat photo; discussion of concrete barriers/railings blocking end-zone views.

A source told Mary Kay Cabot that Deshaun Watson knew he would be first team quarterback on Saturday before Todd Munkin told the media that it was Shadour Sanders' day with the ones. As it turns out, Watson knew right after the walkthrough about noon that he was going with the ones on Saturday, which is about 45 minutes before Todd Munkin told the media that Sanders will still be day 10 QB1. Ocho, what's going on, man? What exactly is going on? Hold on.
2:41Say that one more time. I just want to make sure I heard you correctly. Go ahead. Mary Kay Cabot said that Deshaun Watson knew he would be first-team quarterback on Saturday before Todd Munkin told the media that it was Shadur Sanders' day with the ones. As it turns out, Watson knew right after the walkthrough about noon that he was going with the ones on Saturday, which is about 45 minutes before Munkin told the media that Sanders was still day 10 QB one. Wow. I mean, based on what was said, is there anything wrong with what I said and told you before on who would be the day one starter in general?
3:20Why would he lie, though? Okay, why would you say that it's going to be Shadour's day, day 10, when you had already told Deshaun that he was going with the ones for the entire day? It's one thing that coaches will do when they get in front of the camera and they spew whatever they want to spew in public. It's always going to be different behind closed doors. But don't lie to your player, Ocho. I thought you said you were dealing with men. And men, you deal with them straight up. You say, look here, Shadour, there's been a change of plans. I know you're supposed to get the reps with the ones on day 10, but we've had as an organization, as a staff, we think that Deshaun, we're going to let Deshaun take all the ones, tuck all the reps with the ones, and you'll have a day where you take all the reps with the ones.
4:07Just don't lie to the man because the man got expectations. I'm sure he told his day, hey, pops, call time pops, hey, pops, you know, it's my day to run with the ones. He probably told him, say, son, hey, hey, you've been here, you've prepared for this moment your whole life, just go do what you should do. Go do what Shadour does. That's all you got to do. I don't know why in situations like this we just can't be honest. Just be honest. Yeah, I mean it's unfortunate. I'm assuming this is something. I think that that call might have come above Todd Munkin's head as far as wanting to see Deshaun take those reps in general.
4:44The coach's plan probably was to have Shadour take the 10-day with the ones, but I think that call came from upstairs being that Deshaun Watson is probably going to be the starter. We want him to get more reps with the ones. Because you know who we're going to see in the preseason, right? Shador. Shador. Shador. When Shador gets in the preseason, he's going to look good. I guarantee you that. He's going to look good because he's taken enough reps with the ones to date and going to pick up right where he left off last year and all the improvements that Todd Munkin say that he's seen so far from the door is going to show in the first preseason game, which I'm assuming is what, four or five days from now.
5:23So listen, I'm excited for both of them. I'm excited for both of them. And again, it's Deshaun Watson's job to lose at this point. At this point, it's his job to lose because they're going to play the$46 million quarterback. He's not going to be sitting on the bench. As much as I myself would like Shadour to start and everyone else that enjoys watching him play because of the excitement and the unpredictability that he brings to the game to shine a plan based on the business side of things
5:49Chad Johnson:money okay ocho can the sean lose his job in the preseason no he can't even if he go out there and he don't look and he don't look great he ain't gonna look good because he ain't gonna play enough to look that bad no i just i just all i'm saying uh todd stefansky i mean my bad i mean todd monkey.
6:16Just be honest. Ocho, if your day come out there and say, Ocho, we're going to give you runs. We're going to give you some run with the ones. So the first group, when the ones go out there, I want you to go out there. Now, they done told the other dude, hey, you running with the ones. Now you go run out of the field. You get ready to run out there with the ones. Ocho, Ocho, come back. Come back. come back you're gonna feel some type of way yeah you told me i'm going with the ones and i'm running like that you got me looking stupid yeah yeah as a competitor i'm gonna feel some type of way as a competitor i'm gonna feel some type of way but also understanding what's going on you know understanding what's going on the business side of things understanding that part okay when my time come when my opportunities come i'm gonna make the most of them i'm not gonna argue i'm not gonna gripe i'm gonna be professional about it they made a decision you know what i can't fight the decision that's what they want to do so be it shador sanders has dealt with so much adversity to date this is nothing for him that he can't handle when his time comes it's going to come and when that opportunity presents itself he's going to show the f out i guarantee you that deshaun might have shown that he's the better of the quarterbacks based on the history yes deshaun was the better quarterback even though he hasn't shown it over the last three years I'm not that's not what I'm that's not what up what what Ocho and I and I think the Ocho and I and we're gonna let Joe chime in here with second that's not what I'm saying when you're dealing with a man just be honest yeah that's all I'm saying if Deshaun is better Deshaun is better but if Deshaun is better can't you just go ahead tell the man hey there's been a change of plan I know you're supposed to take the ones go with the ones today because it's supposed to be your day but as a staff we felt we feel this is the best for us moving right now go ahead joe hey man
8:14Chad Johnson:deshaun gonna get that job bro i mean we've already talked about it as far as the money that he's making and i'm like i'm like y 'all man monken uh you want to say he want you want to say he bit him being honest uncle ocho but come on man they're gonna make you earn it bro they're make that young man earn it and i promise you it's gonna make him a stronger player a better player but who knows how long this gonna last i just don't understand it to some degree i do i mean the money that that that deshaun makes is probably is what got him over the top but i'm not sure if he's a better quarterback that should do at this point hey i'll tell you one thing the decision that was made i don't even think it's coming from todd munkin it's above his pay grade.
9:04I agree. It's above his pay grade. But you know Jimmy and D ain't going to do that. Joe Barry, I think Joe, I forget the guy's name, the general manager. But anyway, you know, they're not going to have that conversation. Andrew Barry. Is it Andrew? Yeah. You know, he's not going to, the head coach because the head coach and the quarterback is supposed to be lean. Yeah. So whatever is being discussed upstairs, the head coach is supposed to, now you don't have to tell them, you don't have to tell the player everything that's being said. You put it in coach's speak. Yes. To keep every, because at the end of the day, just dislike me.
9:45I don't want you disliking the GM, disliking the owner and everything else. I'll be the bad guy. And that's why the coaches make with it. Nico Harris. Yeah. You see? Nico. That came from up top. Nico lost his job. He took all the blowback. People just crapped on him. He had to take it off. That's what you have to do when you're in those positions. That being said, just be honest with me. I'll give you a prime example, guys. The only time I started 31 out of a possible 32 games. I don't know why. Brian said, he came to me on Wednesday. He said, Shannon, we're going to start Todd this week. So Todd going to go with the ones.
10:27Okay, fine. I ain't got no problem with that. The game get close in the fourth quarter. Hey, you out there. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Why you want to be out there? I thought. Just be honest with me. Yeah. We grown here. We grown. Y 'all go check it out. Look at the only game I didn't start with the Bengals. My last year there, 2001. It's okay. Just be honest. Just be honest with me. But you know what happens? people would rather say I'm sorry than ask for permission. It is easier. It's easier to say I'm sorry than ask for permission. Somebody will do something and tell you, well, I'm sorry. You could have easily asked, but you didn't want to run the risk of me telling you no, hell no, F no.
11:16So what you did, you went ahead and did it anyway and then apologized for it. Yep.
11:24like I said I'm not debating that's not all I'm talking about is the chain of command and how it was handled we'll deal with that another day this is about the communication or the lack thereof between Todd Munkin and Shador Sanders that's all this is about we'll have another conversation another day how well how well Deshaun played or how well he didn't play. How well should Dua play or how well he didn't play. My only issue is it could have been handled better. That's it for me, Ocho. That's it. Joe, maybe you got something to add on to it. I don't know how you feel. I don't know if you've ever been in a situation like this.
12:10Ocho, I don't know if you've ever been in a situation like this, but I'm just saying I believe, it is my belief, based on my history and dealing with people, especially you know playing in the NFL Joe you're an NBA player for 17 18 years Ocho you played over a decade I played over a decade now I run a business I haven't I just I just believe there's a way that you can handle stuff I just do it is a matter of fact you know what for me I wish Joe and um for me I wish Marvin would have would have told me instead of trading me in general I wish knowing that they were going to draft AJ Green once I was gone, I wish they would have made me a number two.
12:51I wish they would have came to me. Listen, I would have had no problem. I done put a whole decade in. I would have no problem. Let me go be the number two. Hell, let me even be the number three. I wouldn't have had no problem with that. I don't know why they didn't let you do that either, Ocho, because you had shown you could be that when T.O. came there. Yeah, yeah. I wish they would have, and I wonder what that would have looked like still being familiar with the system being at home still being comfortable you know and and and obviously going from carson palmer to andy dawg it wouldn't it wouldn't have been it wouldn't have been no different yeah i would have been just fine i would have had no problem taking the back seat to aj green coming in you know as in him being the man and giving him the torch boss man is your goal i got maybe maybe two maybe three years to go before i'm up out of here i have no problem taking the back seat and let you take over i wish i wish things would have went that way But I just, I don't think they felt or understood that I was willing to take a back seat to someone else new coming in.
13:52Chad Johnson:Man, listen, my rookie year, Uncle Ocho, I wish, you know, they would have told me straight up, look, we're going to try and trade you. You created some value for yourself. I'm saying, because think about it, Uncle Ocho, I'm saying I went from starting. and okay, I didn't start the first game, and then Eric Williams gets hurt, and then I start from this game two all the way up until they came to me and was like, hey, look, we got two other rookies. We're going to sit you, and we're going to get these other dudes an opportunity. Damn. But the real thing is they sat me because I had creative value for myself, and they was going to use me as trade bait, and they was finding a trade suitor.
14:34Chad Johnson:So, therefore, I didn't realize all that until hell. I was out five years down the line because as a young player, when you get traded, you don't understand why sometimes. You know what I mean? Because it wasn't like I was playing bad. It wasn't like we was a bad team. We were the number two team in the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics at that time. So to sit me and tell me, and I just sit there for 10, 15 straight games and get DMPs and don't play. And you know that ball is a young kid. I'm 20 years old, bro. You know what I mean? and then end up... Back tight, knees hurting. And then you just come to me and tell me that you're going to get these other dudes an opportunity.
15:11Chad Johnson:You're just going to sit me. It ain't like I've been playing bad. I'm balling, Uncle Ocho. Right. So this is why I'm telling you. You know, hell no, they weren't straight up with me. I had some value. Okay, boom. Now we in the driver's seat as far as the Celtics. We're the number two seed with Paul Pierce, Antoine Walker. We hadn't been there since we got them. We hadn't been a playoff team. so we can use this little asset that we have and trade him off to bring other veteran guys in. That's kind of what happened. So if there's one incident, it will be my rookie year, bro, because I was so puzzled after I got traded.
15:46Yeah, it's tough. And like you said, all you wish is that he come to you and tell you, Joe, you got some value, and we're going to look. They could have did it like this here. So you know what, Joe? You need to be kind of on your own team. you need to get more minutes than what you're getting you need to get more shots than what you're getting so with that being said we're going to look to move you at some point in time
16:07Chad Johnson:they could dress it up make it sound nice yeah they could have put that battery in my back you know what i mean when the girl want to break up with you what they tell you it ain't you it's me it's me hey you know what i'm saying no it ain't no it ain't no i just hey hey i eat that i'm gonna eat that one i'm gonna take that hey lie to me make it sound fly to me hello hello it's all good please do so but nah that's the only thing chat and we're not gonna I don't wanna beat this anymore I just believe that Todd Stefanski I mean Todd Munkin could've handled this better than what he handled it with the American Express Platinum Card you can access over$3 ,500 in annual value with benefits and eligible purchases across travel entertainment and more there's nothing like Platinum learn more at American Express dot com slash explore dash Platinum Enrollment requirements, monthly, and other limits in terms apply.

Listen to Unshaken with Gary V on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Anthony Richardson has likely played his last game snap as a member of the Colts for Ian Rapoport.
20:40Richardson will either be traded or released before the season begins. The Colts have now demoted Richardson to third-string quarterback. And the Apple's route, Riley Leonard, as their long-term QB2 over the former number four overall pick, Richardson has mightily regressed and appears to be completely checked out after requesting an off-season trade. Ocho. Yeah. is Ant Cook. I think he's in a situation where maybe a change of scenery will be better for him. Man, keep it real, bro. Honestly, hey, Joe, a change of scenery might be better for him. The opportunity of maybe being a starting quarterback, it might have passed him by, being that most of the teams, if you think about it, their one and two is kind of set.
21:25I think not only a change of scenery, but going to the right team is also important. A team that has a great head coach a team that has a great veteran presence at the quarterback position that can help him grow and and he can i'm assuming maybe hope to have another opportunity to start again in the nfl but the way this business works with him being such a a high pick um it's not likely but you never know what may happen you never you may never know but it kind of sucks for him you know in general being that he was a project coming out of college you understood that he was a project coming out of college and he's someone that you needed patience with to have in order for him to grow you needed patience and they just don't have that in nfl the development of quarterbacks as as said by tom brady throwing them out there as rookies is is hurting them more than it it is making them
22:15Chad Johnson:better hey go ahead joe he cooked he cooked ocho ain't gonna say you know he's gonna sweeten it up I'm saying because he had he coming out of college, Uncle Ocho he lacked experience and he had all the physical tools and traits to be a hell of a QB. That's why he was a fourth pick overall. But at the same time when you get out there, man you can't read coverages and your processing is a little slower as a quarterback. That's detrimental bro. Detrimental. They ain't wasting too much time. They're going to move on. He had a few opportunities, bro. They're moving on from that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
22:58I understand. Oh, Joe, when this came up. Yes, sir. We and I talked about it. I said, he ain't going to be the same in that locker room. Nah. When he took himself out of the game, he talked about he was tired. Oh, yeah. When he was being the last one in and the first one out as a quarterback. Yes, sir. Now, I said, this is what I said, Joe. I said, okay, he's a project. You can't say, okay, Shannon, I'm going to give you two years to complete this house and then try to move in the house in a week.
23:23Chad Johnson:Right. The house ain't ready. He wasn't ready to play. Yes. And they put him out there. You said he was a project. You were going to develop him. Andy Reid shot Patrick Mahomes for a year. Yes.
23:41He didn't help his cause. Bro, the NFL is not like college. See, at college, the type of – Bro, he just didn't pick this up when he came to the league now. Yeah. The habits you have in college, that's what you got when you come to the NFL. Yeah, that's a pattern.
23:57Chad Johnson:Absolutely. That's a pattern. That's it. And people jumped on me. Oh, you don't know what it's like in the locker room. I've been around enough locker rooms to do that. I absolutely know what it's like. Now, I know that the locker room is a little less, is a little more forgiving now than it was when you and I played Ocho. But that's the problem because these guys won't hold these other guys accountable. That's why you have situations like we have. That's what I couldn't tolerate that go ahead. Oh, Joe what one more thing to uncle Joe and in chat Y 'all check me out real quick. There's certain quarterbacks that come out of college that are NFL ready You know the NFL ready Anthony Richardson passed the eye test.
24:34Yeah with all the physical tools He passed I test but he didn't he didn't have what it would it would it took to play in the NFL right away Joe Burrow had what it took to play right away. Yes, Josh Allen he had what it took to play right away. But Josh didn't start right away. He's had a couple games. I'm just saying he had to sit. Yes, I get what you see. Patrick Mahomes had what it took to play right away, but he still sat a year. I like what they're doing with Fernando Mendoza over there in Los Angeles. He needs to sit. As great as he is, as good as a senior college season that he did have, him sitting behind Kirk Cousins is a great thing for his development and being able to understand and learn the game and come along slow.
25:15throwing Anthony Richardson out there. It was a disservice to him and his development as a quarterback. And now we're seeing, I mean, it's unfortunate. It's unfortunate to him. And we knew his demise was coming when it decided to bring Daniel Jones in and pick that one year 14 million. It was a wrap. It was a wrap at that point. I knew, they're talking about, oh, he had Michael Pittman Jr., A.D. Mitchell, Alec Pierce, Josh Downs, Jonathan Taylor what other quarterback in NFL wouldn't kill for that talent mmm mmm and it was loaded only other quarterback that had the physical tools and look like he did and tested like he did with Cam Newton yeah and you see how what cam turned out to be but cam was serious about his business yes sir you bro but if you go back and study he didn't complete 50 % he barely completed 50 % of passes in high school.
26:15He completed 50 % or less in college. But now somehow you expect him to come to the league and complete 60 % of his passes.

26:25Chad Johnson:That's processing, bro. He was lazy then. He's lazy now. Now maybe like you said, Ocho, going somewhere else after you've been released. You're the fourth pick in the draft. Most fourth picks in the draft, they got them a new deal. Or they're working on a new deal. You're working on a new team. Mm-hmm. Hey, that's hard. If this doesn't wake him up, ain't nothing gonna wake him up, y 'all. You think, hey, Joe, if anything, if anything, that's more of a wake-up call as opposed to, listen, that little adversity, it could either break you or it could make you, it could change you. So it all depends on him.
27:00This is a huge wake-up call to go from the fourth pick to now down the third string and, you know, obviously requesting a trade in the offseason, not getting it, allowing you to come to camp and see if you can compete and see where you are and how much you progressed and they say you regressed. Hey man. Hold on. Joe Joe. If I know you got to get rid of something. Why am I going to offer you anything for it? I'll just wait till you cut it and we'll take my chances in the end of what you call them in the line.
27:28Chad Johnson:Hello. See if he can see if he can pass. Right. I'm not going to give you anything. Maybe somebody give him a six or seven round a seventh round pick that if he plays he can give six round picks. but I know you want to get rid of it. The moment I know you want to get rid of something, the less likely I am to want to give you something of value for it. You got to get rid of it. It's like your trash. Once you throw it out, you said it's not valuable. Whatever I go through there and find, mind the key. So once you put him out there and I can rehabilitate him, get him to understand what he needs to do, how he needs to be more professional, okay.
28:07But I'm not giving you anything for that. I just don't know why Ocho and you remember he said the NFL was easier than college Chad y 'all remember he said that
28:18Chad Johnson:he didn't mean that I said hold on wait a minute Ocho I'm looking at Ocho the NFL that we played in is easy that isn't easy for me I know it ain't easy for no damn quarterbacks because all the stuff that you have to know and the process and worry about getting your cap split? Hey, that's why they say 90 % of the game is mental, bro, and 10 % is physical. You know what I mean? You can have this big, physical, strong body and look good, but man, if you can't process information fast enough, it's just like the point guard. It's the most valuable position on the basketball court. Same with the quarterback.
29:00Chad Johnson:Man, if they can't process that information fast enough, Uncle Ocho, we always going to be a step slow or it ain't going to tick right. You feel what I'm saying? So I get it, man. Hey, Anthony Richland got them traits, bro. Who the most athletic quarterback in the Hall of Fame? Who the most athletic quarterback to win the Super Bowl? Who the fastest quarterback in the Hall of Fame? Don't nobody give a damn. You see what happens? That got him in trouble. The last thing I care about is how fast a quarterback can run. What's his vertical, Ocho? What's his standing long jump? What's his three-cone, the short?
29:34I don't give a damn about anything. I just want to know how fast he can process information. That's what I want to know. How well can he retain information? Those are the two things that I want to know. Anything else, can you process it? Can you retain it? You give me somebody that can process information and retain information, and I'll beat your ass with these quarterbacks that's 6 '4", 240 pounds, running 4 '3", jumping out the gym, throwing the ball 80 yards on one knee. when you gonna be on one knee and throw the ball right hey what's Young Bull the backup in Dallas or is it Seattle Joe Milton you talking about Joe Milton he got a cannon he got a cannon boy but I just I don't get Ocho do you know as the fourth pick in the draft if you do anything the money that they were gonna be willing to give you Joe there's 300 million easy $300 million no questions asked Joe just back up to bring truck
30:42Chad Johnson:okay Ocho I'd have been so locked in what what it's unfortunate I hope he get a second chance maybe not to be a starter but to go somewhere and revitalize his career it might be you know situation where you know what I might not just be good enough and I have to live with that but I'd be damned if it would be from lack of preparation. Hello. I'd be damned if that's going to be the reason why I'm not in the league or I'm on another team. I used to tell guys all the time, all you got to do is that when you come in here in July, from July to January, devote everything you possibly can. And then once the season over, if you want to go to the Bahamas, you want to go to Jamaica, you want to do whatever, that's your opportunity but y 'all do know NFL not for long it's even shorter when you do bull jive like what y 'all doing and all y 'all talk about the man don't like me the man don't like your habits you come in here smelling like a liquor steal can't nobody tell you nothing you know everything the man tell you he wants you to run the route like this here you want to run it how you want to run it hey the funny thing about it it's not even hard when you when you think about it uncle and joe chat i mean i just i just narrow it down to two things how long can i be a valuable asset to my team that's it that's all it comes well you're only one of two things ocho you're an asset or liability there are no other options that's it that's all they come down to how valuable can I be to my team at my respective position how consistent can I be at my respective position and make the people job around me easy my one job Joe you know when I played despite the entertainment and all the fun I had boy I was a I was a a sponge for knowledge and understanding of what I'm facing each and every week yes for me to be able to talk and have fun dude I was a student of the game joe i was a student i studied i i knew coverages i knew what people were trying to do i knew i understood the sky this i know before the ball snapped i know where every single person was going to be yeah that's why i was able to talk like that because i know what's coming before it even happened i was a student of the game and then i had fun on the back end but nobody talked about that part you can't have fun of you don't hear you do it that ain't no fun yeah yeah it was fun but hey it's all about being valuable all about being an asset and and that that comes and that that's pertaining not just to football but just in life in general life in general when it comes to having partners and relationships and i mean listen we we're not 14 15 years old we like how are you an asset to me what value are you bringing to the table you know i mean this is a partnership yeah in anything that you're building you got to be an asset not just look good you looking good ain't bringing oozing odds from people outside what is that doing for me come on man the NFL is a business the NFL they accumulate assets they get rid of liabilities liabilities cost you businesses liabilities cost coaches jobs Richard Smith told Ace he used to tell us all the time he said son you good enough to get you cut and be fired and that's true too now absolutely that's what liabilities do liabilities will get you cut yourself cut and the coach fired players get coaches fired all the time bro oh yeah hey look that's why as a coach man you can't really develop them type of relationship with players because sometimes man it can hinder you you know what I mean like that respect that a player gives a coach you always want to keep that in check you feel me absolutely Yeah, you are gonna keep that locked in.
34:50It clouds your judgment. People get mad at Coach Belichick because Coach Belichick cheated everybody the same. That's why our higher ups not supposed to deal with subordinates. What did they be doing for Bathsheba's husband? He wanted her so bad, what did he do, Ocho? He sent that man to war, sent that man to battle so he could have her.
35:12Chad Johnson:Yeah. That's why subordinates are not supposed to deal with higher ups. Howell's not supposed to deal with subordinates. It clouds your judgment. Man, that's my little boo. I can't put my boo out there to go. No! She signed up to go fight. Yes, you gotta let her go. Damn. That's how it works. You get, if a coach get too close to a player, it clouds his judgment when he has to make tough decisions. Be it bench him, trade him, or release him. Yup, yup. They act like you're fighting. but this is the part of my job that I hate. Man, stop it. You know when you took the damn job, this was a part of it.
35:53Chad Johnson:Yeah. I understand. Look, I understand. I try to go in, especially when I'm dealing with things of this nature, with an understanding. This is a business. At the end of the day, let's just say for the sake of argument, Ocho, you got a business, and you want to hire your friends. Okay, I might give you an opportunity. But can't you do the job that I'm hiring you for? Yeah. I'm not hiring my friend to handle my finances because they don't have a financial background. No. Hey, you want to do some security? You want to just come around and tell some jokes? Okay, that's what you're good at.
36:39But it's not easy. It's not. And I understand. people's livelihoods sometimes are tied to this but my livelihood is tied to it too hell what the hell you costing me money not doing your job yeah it all it all it all hey joe it all works like an engine in the car if all the if all the parts ain't working the right way yes ain't going nowhere no that's that's the thing i just i just hate it for the young man because i i don't know if he took it as serious as he needed to. I don't know if he understood what the NFL was. You can have, this game will humble your ass. You can have a good game and think you got it figured out.
37:20The next game, somebody shut your ass completely out.
37:23Chad Johnson:Hey. Hey, you said something interesting. You don't know if he took it as serious as he needed to or should have. Hey, man, I don't know how old the young man is, 22, 23, but man, when I look back then, boy, I thought I was working hard. Your ass ain't working hard, man. No. I'm telling you. I thought I was, Uncle Ocho, but, you know, as you get up in age, you start to look back like, damn, if I'd have won a little harder. You know what I mean? So. Yes. I totally understand that. Joe, Ocho, think about this. Your rookie year, they pull you in. Mm-hmm. And they say, Joe, you need to work harder.
38:02Ocho, you need to work harder. Ocho, you need to stop being the first one in and the last one in and the first one to leave. Bro, we can't have you leaving the ball game. Imagine you as a rookie and your veteran players call you in and they talk to you one-on-one.
38:18Chad Johnson:Yeah. I mean, you ain't doing so much. That should have got his attention. It should have had his undivided attention. Yes, sir. The coach should have had a conversation and said, son, I want to be crystal clear. I want to be abundantly clear. You can't even get clear abundantly and crystal.
38:38Son, this is not going to cut it. Your behavior, your preparedness, your readiness is unacceptable.
38:46Chad Johnson:At that position? No, son.
38:55Like I said, it's a different time now. Chad, it's just a different time. It's just a different time, and I need to accept that. That's why I couldn't coach. I can't. I can't. I cannot. I cannot. I cannot accept this behavior that today's society, that is a part of the, well, it's a different time. People don't want to work. And then they get mad at results they didn't get for the work they didn't put in.
39:26Man, man, coach, man, coach messed on me. He didn't like me. Shit. No, he didn't like your work ethic. He didn't like your practice habit. he didn't like how you were prepared when you your turn to be called when your time was called he didn't like that you were unprepared you're unprofessional that just that just that just rubs me the wrong way it bothers me it always has it always will i'm gonna work the same whether you pay me a dollar i worked i worked just as hard when i made six dollars a day and when i made five million a year. I work the same. Work ethic doesn't change because you make more or less.
40:05It doesn't. Let me take that back. It shouldn't.
40:13But everybody isn't wired like that and I have to accept that. But I just hope, I love the fact that people that work with SheShe Media, they put the time and they work. They want to be great. They want us to be great. Thank you. Thank you, Uncle. you're welcome thank you hey hey uncle joe hey y 'all y 'all gonna have to bear me out man for what nothing got my homeboy man my homeboy watching real quick man i like when i see him like it's on site joe so like joe you really off the hook right now so these hands is is they they they they for him hey and lost you know i i know you watching and and and you finna get these hands and and uncle and Joe they gonna come bail me out so you know get your paperwork ready because I know you probably gonna you know you know try to try to go see the people on me and whatnot and we
41:04Chad Johnson:could fight it in court after I whoop you outside man what are you talking about I'm just I'm just talking about whipping you by something nah I'm not not Joe I'm for the what my oh yeah yeah clear that up clear yeah clear that up real quick I'm glad you cleared that up real quick hey Joe listen I could make it a two for one. I could whoop Lowe's and you. I mean, what you trying to do? No, I'm saying, then you don't keep it 100. You weren't talking about me. Just keep it 100. I said I wasn't talking about you in the first place. I said, Uncle Joe, come bail me out. All right. Yeah. Yeah, we got you.
41:35But I'm just saying. I'm just saying. We can make it two for one, Joe. I can whoop your ass first.
41:39Chad Johnson:Oh, I'll come bail you out. Then whoop your ass. If that's how you want it, partner. It don't make me no difference, for real. Then you have to try to bail him out, Joe. Then you have to bail you out. Hey, hey, hey. because if Ocho see you with this bag, he can say, that's the bag you got from Ump, and he might take it from you, Joe. Matter of fact, I'm going to whoop his ass and take his bag. I have it. Hey, Joe, I tell you what, Joe, I already called dibs on the bag. If Joe end up with that bag in any way, boy, I'll break in your house and take it. That's the truth. Damn, Joe. I'll break in your house and I'll take it.
42:13Chad Johnson:Hey, tell him to get your habituator ready. Huh? They get your habituator ready. What, Joe, what, you trying to put me six feet? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, if you breaking my house, you got to go. You got to go. Man, where my pistol at?
42:31Yeah. Hey, a Bills fan went viral for post-showing awful obstructed seats at the new Highmark Stadium. Look at this. Ocho, look at this.
42:43Can you see this? Yeah, I can see it a little bit. They don't like the seats? Have to be part of the view. you can't see the other end look at that hey um most of the time if it's constructed like that they have a norman jumbotron when they when they when they're no jumbotron oh it ain't the jumbotron is normally high above so it ain't nobody view that's a wall that's a concrete barrier right that's blocking view yeah matter of fact in those seats too uncle joe those seats i'm assuming those tickets will be very very very inexpensive to be able to sit that high up you do realize that's a psl i play i gotta pay i gotta pay to own those seats and then i gotta pay for the tickets damn right hey this is a new this ain't no new stadium that's a brand new stadium they just built it they going into it this year damn i don't know who designed this but that's some bulljive they probably they probably want thinking right i think you got you gotta look at the blueprint man i understand that man.
43:44Who called this, bro? I mean, so how the people that sit right there, Ocho, how are they supposed to see the other half of the field? And then the other one is even worse than that. That's crazy. Look at that, Ocho, look how much of the field is blocked. Hold on. We got to be careful. We got to be careful too with this actual pitcher. I would need to be at the stadium to make sure this ain't being exaggerated and that's not really a seat. I'm just saying that that look pretty high up and don't look like in those seats right there I could be wrong I could be wrong but I see that one on the left that one right over here oh you don't see them seats backed up to that wall where the hell you looking at put your hand over the good eye maybe you see that out the bad eye hey you see you see the um you see the railing yes it wouldn't be no ain't the best stairs right there somebody standing with the stairs at the seats go all the way up and you sit you got to sit down they it look like they standing on a stairway and taking a picture purposely to make it look like you can't see that that's just me are you looking at this one yeah i'm looking at the one right there on the screen it looked like see that i'm i'm i guarantee you i guarantee you i'm right and and somebody i think they did that on purpose to make it seem like you can't see but i guarantee you that's the stairway to walk up and go further out you to go to concession stand to the bathroom that's not exactly where the seats are in 2026 there's no way a brand new stadium has a view like that blocking from one end where you can't see when the team is on the opposite side well if somebody else if somebody else give some uh uh uh but it looked like i could see some seats right there yes sir so we we go we go see oh yeah i mean other than that look like it's a pretty nice stadium oh yeah i gotta go check it out the rich stadium go ahead what'd you say don't show i said i'm gonna go i'm gonna go check it out i'm gonna go hey i'm hold on let me see we uh you know all right don't go in there they slam your ass on the table and suplex you on the table that'd be fun that'd be fun we should go do that no ain't no we you hey joe you want to go to buffalo game joe and like and jump off the table
46:02Chad Johnson:and jump off the thing like wrestling nah i i go to the game but i ain't doing no damn jumping off no uh on them tables they be setting the tables on fire joe and b hey hey i'm doing that hey uh buffalo fans hey i'm gonna come to a game i want to jump on the jump on the table with the fire and stuff. That'd be fun, Joe. They support your charity. Something go wrong, you get injured. That's one thing about the Bills fans. They show up for... Hey, Joe, them Bills fans, that might be the best fan base in all of sports. You think so? What? When it comes to not only supporting their players, but supporting other team players when something has happened or there's a charity going on, they all come together as one and don't...
46:47Oh, man. Man, hey, Buffalo sits at the top. They sit at the top. Who was that? Somebody had beat somebody and it knocked them out of the playoffs and Buffalo was able to get in. They sent the quarterback like$400 ,000,$500 ,000 to his favorite charity. Damn. Yeah, they don't play. Hey, Buffalo fans, they've always been pure class, though. They've always been pure class. They might have a lot of fun in that tailgating, but they've always been class. Thurman and Patty, I know you guys watching. and you live in Buffalo and I know you guys, hey, give me a picture. Hey, let me know for real, Thurman.
47:23Text me and let me know if the stadium really like this. Patty, I know you probably haven't been to the stadium. Text me and let me know. You and Thurman get on here and text me and let me know. Y 'all probably, y 'all look, y 'all ain't sleep, Thurman. Maybe your old ass ain't asleep. Patty, you not sleep though, Patty. Ready, set, summer with the Honda Summer Event. 48:42Chad Johnson:Here are some hard truths. I would expect Indians to age faster, but I did not expect it to be almost a four to five year acceleration. And get myself into a world of trouble. I'd say probably start bone smashing. That doesn't work. Make it look more defined. They say it works. I don't know. And then some days I'm here, and I have to go pick you up at school and then bring you back.

51:33The lows that carried them to their highs. Listen to Unshaken with Gary Vee on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Uh, Kabil, no. That's one thing because they go to a lot of the games. As a matter of fact, they still live in Buffalo. But no. You know what, Ocho? What's happening? I'm looking and seeing. I don't know. I guarantee you somebody posted it on purpose standing on the stairs where that railing is just to make it seem like you can't see. I guarantee you I'm right. Okay. I'm going to take your word for it, Ocho. We'll see. Hey, guess what?
52:23somebody will find we're gonna find out the next couple of days somebody gonna go go and the preseason start like Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday so we're gonna find out as soon as they play preseason start this Wednesday well it already you know they had a hall of fame game last yeah I know that one I'm somebody everybody else everybody else starts playing and yes. No, not Thursday. They start Thursday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Either way, I'm ready. I'm ready. Hey, Joe, when them Cowboys play, Joe?
52:55Chad Johnson:I got a check as far as preseason. We normally start off on the West Coast because we typically be out there in San Diego somewhere. We got that LA. LA. Y 'all at Oxnard. Where we at? Oxnard. Oxnard, California. North. It's probably about Iowa outside. Yeah, that's typically where they start at, though, where we start at. We start at, yeah. All right, Joe. I want to know what you think about this one. Monte Ellis says Warriors would have had the same success if he had replaced Steph Curry on their championship teams. If you switch me and Steph out with a team that won the championship, it'd be the same thing.
53:33Uh-oh. I'm going to use the bathroom on that one. Joe know that one better than me. Go ahead, Joe.
53:40Chad Johnson:Negative. Negative, huh? A.Monte Ellis was a hell of a player. You talking about as far as a bucket getter? He can do that with the best of them. But to replace him and Steph, the role that Steph played? No, sir. No, sir. You can't swap that and say they're going to have the same success. I beg to differ on that. I think you actually downplaying Steph Curry's greatness. Yes. It absolutely is. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you downplaying his greatness and how great he was in those championship runs. Bro, he was virtually unstoppable. You would need to, if this man was a top 75 player, maybe I was like, okay, well, maybe.
54:27But how you going to replace a guy, a top 75 guy? By all estimation, he's the first or second greatest point guard. I don't really look at him as a point guard, but I'm saying, is he a Magic Johnson that's in the conversation? with that being said really? all the years I don't believe because let me tell you why let me tell you why I don't think so because he needs the ball if you look at the way the success that Steph had and KD had when they played together neither one of those guys needed the ball
55:00Chad Johnson:absolutely absolutely I just don't know why it's okay it is okay for you not to be Steph Curry because guess what no one else is either nah yeah I think his greatness this man actually said they would have had the same success if you take Steph out and put him in I have a question what's the question I never had the opportunity to watch Monte Ellis play right I'm assuming he talk about the team that was assembled with Kevin Durant and Klay. They went to two championships before KD. Yeah. And KD would have never came there because he was balling. He needed a ball. KD wanted to go because nobody dominated the ball there.
55:49So you're not going to get KD. Monte Ellis was a point guard, I'm assuming, right? Yeah. More like a two. A two.
55:56Chad Johnson:Masquerading as a two. A two masquerading as a point. Well, Steph is the greatest shooter of all time behind the arc. Yeah. how close how close because i never watched monte ellis play obviously i didn't watch basketball back then how close is monte ellis from the arc or just efficient efficiently from the three he was he he he was uh like a he was a downhill get to the bucket kind of guy you couldn't keep him out the paint ocho like he was athletic yeah and he he he played fearless like as far as getting iso get by his man getting a bucket he was hell to stop so he was russell westbrook yeah Yeah, similar, similar, similar.
56:37Chad Johnson:He played with that type of force. Yeah. He could shoot. He could shoot, but he wasn't no damn three-point shooter like that. He was like mid-range. He was a mid-range assassin. Yeah. And Steph, not only was he a great three-point shooter, but you're talking about two, three, four steps behind the damn three-point. Man, you had to guard this man come across half court, bro. Half court, yeah. So that extends your defense, which allows guys like Steph Curry, if he runs a lot of pick and rolls to be able to operate in so much space. Man, nah. I mean, don't get me wrong, man. Monte was great, bro.
57:10Chad Johnson:He was great. He wasn't Steph. And what happens is, is that once you start picking him up out there, they start setting the pick out higher. Now you're ass grass. Yeah. Because now you got your big trying to deal with him in all that space. Steph gonna get right on down the hill. Yeah. Yeah, it's hard. it's hard to game plan for Steph Uncan Ocho. Not only was he such a great shooter, but he's probably the guy on the court who was in the most shape. He was in the best shape. You know what I mean? Because he understood that was going to be his defensive mechanism. Meaning if I can run your ass out to death on offense, you know, that may even save me a little bit on defense.
57:51Chad Johnson:And I just think it opened up his game a lot more, especially when you got guys that buy in like Draymond, you look at his deficiencies offensively he's not a scorer he's not a shooter but he a hell of a playmaker his IQ for the game is high as I don't know what so he used Steph to his advantage and I think when you got players like that like I couldn't really see I couldn't really see Draymond and Monte Ellis being a great fit you know their games really don't compliment each other if you just want to keep it 100 you know what I mean? You know what maybe if Dame Lillard had said something like that.
58:27I was like, okay. Because he can shoot the ball. He can handle the ball. He can catch and shoot. He's tremendous off of pick and roll. He moves without the ball. Okay. I might can look at that. I look at my – what do you think about Monte Ellis and Stephon Marlbury? Would you say their games are similar? Guys that get down here, put pressure on, you want to get down here. I think Stephon might be a little bit more explosive. Yeah, yeah, Stephon.
58:53Chad Johnson:But Monte Ellis, man. Monte Ellis with a bucket now. he can score now he came out of high school okay oh yes monte ellis came out of high school to the pros at six three oh yeah i mean like you got you got you got to be like that bro yeah ain't he what he from mississippi or something yeah he's from like mississippi yeah okay uh i think to go back and look at that high school game with him and lotero green getting buckets against each other oh yeah nah nah nah hey joe you know now that give me a better understanding why he has the confidence to say what he said. We talk about a player that made it to the NBA coming right out of high school.
59:28Chad Johnson:Yeah, at 6 '3". He has to think like that. Okay, I got it now. He was explosive though, Ocho. Yeah, he was. He was a good player. Joe and I, we're not saying he's not a good player. We're saying we just don't believe based on his body of work, Steph's body of work, with that offense, the way it was, the free-flowing, nobody dominated the ball. I just don't see it. Nah. That's not to say that he's not a good player because he was a good player. But Steph is not a generational player. Steph Curry is a transcendent player. He's historically great. There's a difference. A generation is 20, 25 years.
1:00:12Steph Curry is transcendent. Yeah. As the word Skip would say transcendental. He's historically great. so when we say historically we're talking about the history of the game yeah we talk about that that's what we're talking about we talk about Steph Curry Stephen Wardell Curry yeah
1:00:35Chad Johnson:he's special bro but you know what when you think about it the only thing they got in common is complexion but you know that's the only thing they got in common you know they played together I think Monte had Steph when he was a rookie and they end up having to get rid of Monte. And why is that? So Steph can flourish? Hello, there you go. There you go. Yeah. Exactly why they did it. It ain't no secret. Hey, where Monte? And guess what they did? They got rid of him and guess what they got? They drafted who? The guy out of Washington State. Y 'all know him? Another life-care fella. Clay Thompson.
1:01:19That moved without the ball. They didn't need the ball to be good. Hey. And KD said, you know what? I can play with them guys. Because they got guys over there to play the game the right way. They don't, nobody need to dominate the ball.
1:01:33Chad Johnson:Yeah. Yeah. That's why they fit so seamlessly. Them two beige brothers, boy, they something else, boy. Splash brothers. Get mad at credit, man. Yeah. Hey.
1:01:50Now, I just, baby, you don't, man, but it's not like Steph, I mean, they're about the same height. Steph like 6 '2", 6 '3", maybe. I mean, I think Steph and I are more like seven. I think Steph like 6 '2". But you know 6 '3", sound good.
1:02:08Chad Johnson:Yeah, they two totally different players, though. Totally. Totally different. Steph is more of a shooter. Because Steph ain't really trying to dominate the ball. Steph gonna get off the ball. Yeah, because he can shoot that thing. He gonna get out the ball and take off running. He gonna run for one baseline. Yeah. Hey, somebody gonna be setting the pick at the baseline if there was a bigot, Kevon Looney or Pacheep Shot or what's the other guy, Andrew Bogut? Somebody gonna be able to set a pick for him. He gonna come off that pen down or he gonna come off a flare and gonna let it go. You already know it.
1:02:43Chad Johnson:Hey, and it's gonna be cash money. Yeah. Cash money. Best to do it. But, no, I just don't see it, Monte. I think you're a tremendous player. You had a great career. But I don't see it. I sure, well, you know what? We'll never know, but I sure wish you were there instead of Steph Curry, because LeBron would have had two championships, I know for damn sure.
1:03:12He had, well, he got what? But that 2015, he'd have gotten that with two. And he'd have gotten more because guess what? KD wasn't going there. Yeah, yeah. So LeBron had about four championships. So he'd have about seven now.
1:03:26Chad Johnson:Yeah. Damn. So he'd have had those four in Cleveland. He got two. And who knows? He might have stayed. Kyrie might have wanted to stay. Might have not been made more enticing for Dan Gilbert to let Kyrie have some of the perks that he gave old Goat James. and not just shut it down. Damn, let the man have something.
1:03:52But no, I don't.
1:03:57I don't see that. I just don't. I wish I could agree with you, Monte, but I can't.
1:04:04Chad Johnson:Yeah, me neither. Shaq doesn't think LeBron ranks high among any of the Lakers. Great. The good thing for LeBron is that he did win one, but you know Kareem got six, Magic got five, Kobe got five, I got four. Rambles got three, so you know he's at the party, but he's not on the stage. Woo. If anybody think Kurt Rambles is a better player than LeBron James, if you want to say Kareem, now, it seems to me, hold on just a second, Chad. It seems to me that Chad is using the ring. So by that argument, Horace Grant, Rick Fox, Derrick Fisher,
1:04:47all those guys that won rings are better than LeBron because if they got more rings if they got more than one he's looking at it like the ring Chad even the most diehard Laker fan knows Kurt Ramos is not a better player than LeBron but if you want to say Laker Laker because we ran into and D-Wade explained it great better he says LeBron James is the best player I'm the best Heat player. LeBron played four years, D-Wade played. But D-Wade, and I'm not, but I just can't look at Kurt Rambis, and I can't look at Rick Fox and all these guys that got more rings than LeBron and say they're battling. Joe, I just can't.
1:05:28Maybe you can't get me there, Joe. Help me. Maybe you can get me there.
1:05:31Chad Johnson:No, I can't get you there neither. Hey, hey. I think because the Lakers are so rich in history, you know what I mean? Yeah. Kareem, I ain't fighting you on Kareem. I ain't fighting you on Magic. I ain't fighting you on Kobe. Hell, I ain't fighting you on – I'm not fighting you on any of that. And I think this is another reason why Braun, you know, he didn't care about leaving because he already knew and understood that, you know, people was going to look at him like this. He knew they weren't going to give him no credit. So here's what I'm going to do, Ocho, if I'm Braun. Boy, I'm going to go somewhere else who ain't won in over however many damn years.
1:06:07Chad Johnson:43 years. 1993, they won the championship. I'm going to take that gamble, bring them to the promised land, then what you're going to say? You feel what I'm saying? Because there's always going to be something, bro. When you great – Yeah, you're right. Y 'all know when you great, man, they got to find a way to pick at you, bro. It's just part of it. So I think Shaq is saying Laker. So if you're looking at Laker, rings, multiple. Yeah. I think that's how Shaq's looking at it.
1:06:39Chad Johnson:it's going to be hard to pass them first three, Kareem, Magic but who would argue that because if you just said and he said it and so now you know he said Laker I think LeBron is a better player than all of them but not a better Laker than all of them because if I look at LeBron's Lakers career and I look at Magic's Laker career, Kareem Laker's career, Kobe's Laker career, what are we talking about? Now, if you tell me LeBron's going to get an opportunity to play with Kareem and Magic like Kurt Ramos did, or he's going to get an opportunity to play with Shaq like Kobe did, now we might have an argument.
1:07:23He played eight years with Kareem and Magic. He played eight, Shaq was there eight years. He played eight years with Shaq. Now we might have a different discussion, but that's pie in the sky. He played eight years and he didn't have those guys. He had Anthony Davis. He had, what, a year and a half of Luka. Yeah. So, you know what, Shaq? When you say Lakers, I give you that. I give you that. But I can't give you Kurt Ramos, though. I can't give you Kurt Ramos. I'm sorry. Hey. Hey.
1:08:04I can't give you Kurt Rambus. You want to go B Scott? You want to go Kareem? Kobe? Magic?
1:08:18Kareem. Jerry West, Wilt, Elgin. Hey, I can tell y 'all something. What? Man, I don't know what the hell y 'all talking about, man.
1:08:33so but see that's the thing that's the thing though Joe when you say Celtic great or Laker great because now people gonna be starting saying hey OG and Josh Hart and Mikael Bridges are better Nick great than Patrick Ewing you right I just
1:09:01Chad Johnson:You're right. You're right. And because a lot of people never got a chance to see Patrick Ewing play, it's out of sight, out of mind, Ocho. Yes. You know what I'm saying? You know, people, because of how we, you know, receive our information, people see these guys a lot more as opposed to when we were younger here, you didn't really see guys like that. And so this new generation who never got to see Jordan and Ewing and all those guys play, and they ain't going to never understand that, bro. And you're right, the guys for the Knicks, OG and Bridges, yeah, people will look at them as greater Knicks than Patrick Ewing, for sure.
1:09:41Yeah. But that's what ring culture has done now.
1:09:45Chad Johnson:Yeah. Yeah. That's what it's done.
1:09:52It is what it is. We won't ring. We've turned it into that. If you ain't got a ring, your career was a bum. You were a bum. You were trash. You're not any good. But I mean, basically they look, I mean, I guess in the movies, if you don't want an Oscar, Ochoa, you're not no good actor. You don't want a Grammy. You ain't won no Grammy. Yeah. You ain't won no Emmy. You ain't won no Tony. So what are we talking about? Yeah.
1:10:19Different times, we are different times. Before signing with the Clippers in 2019, Kawhi Leonard Camp reportedly asked the Lakers for several impermissible perks, according to The Athletic, access to a private aircraft, a free home, guaranteed off-court earnings, and ownership stake in the team. The Lakers denied the request as they violated the NBA CBA. According to Bruce Arthur, Kawhi Leonard was at the meeting with Uncle Dennis when he made the demands to the Raptors, trade for Paul George, an extra$10 million in sponsorship, partial ownership of the Maple Leafs, ownership stake and other companies affiliated with MLSE.
1:11:03Hey, now here's a guy that's now. If this is true, we got to. We got to use if allegedly allegedly allegedly Bruce Arthur Kawhi Leonard was at the meetings with Uncle Dennis when he made demands to the Raptors. now everybody said because he didn't resign they're making this up also the Lakers said hey this report that he asked the Lakers for the same thing he didn't sign with the Lakers they're making this up he signed with the little brothers now I ain't got no problem asking for a trade for Paul George there have been other players that said hey get me X, Y, Z. Okay, that's cool. That's not against the CBA.
1:11:55But getting extra sponsorships and doing all this basically circumventing the salary cap, that absolutely is. Now, if this is true,
1:12:08the question is, can it be proven?
1:12:12Chad Johnson:Hey, look, I like how Kawhi and his uncle do business. You hear me? Listen, listen. you asking for all this access to a plane home hold on the home free though uh come on i want the home paid hey hey hey peter paul said try it all okay listen i'm asking fair damn thing in my country if i'm himity i'm him oh joe hey hey look look look look i need i need a few hours on this private i ain't mad at him that's all i'm saying bro yeah you know but but if you get caught You can't hide your hand now. Uncle Dennis coming out, they got us. They got us, nephew.
1:12:55But this is not new in 2026. This was reported at the time it was happening. That he asked for things, that Jeannie Buzz said, we can't do that. That's against the cap. Because you get all these things, because guess what? It circumvents the salary cap. because now I don't have to use my money. So a$20 million salary, if I give you 10 million, extra 10 million in sponsorships, excuse me, now that's 30 million. I buy you a house. You're going to probably try to go to get the most expensive house you can get. That's another 10, 15 million dollars. Oh, so now we're at 40, 45 million. Now you want ownership of the Maple Leafs.
1:13:34That's another, you know, who knows how much. And other companies that they're affiliated with.
1:13:41Chad Johnson:Hey, I only got a short time to play this game. Hell, I want to make as much money as I possibly can right now. Because look, right now, while they on me, like Mike Jones said, now I'm hot, they all on me. You know what I mean? Yeah. Hey, hey, hey, let me see what I can get, bro. Let me see what I can get. Let me throw everything at the window. Let's see what sticks. Damn it.
1:14:03Hey, Hogan Denny's going to be like a Hogan's hero. I know nothing. hey but that's funny boy it's a small window of opportunity for him to maximize as much as he can man he he was he was trying it too boy hey listen when you as good as he is not i would get ready to say was as when you as good as kawaii is you can pull that off you can pull that off arthur kawaii was at the meeting so when uncle dennis was requesting this kawaii was allegedly there. Hey, you know, you got a lease plan. Nah, we can't ask for that. You know, we already got it planned out. Hey, Joe, we can't ask for that. Okay, we can't ask for that.
1:14:48What about a private jet? Can I get $400 in a private jet?
1:14:53Chad Johnson:Damn, we can't ask for that. Okay, okay. What about some ownership stakes and something? Y 'all got the Chick-fil-A's, y 'all got the Arby's, Horton's. Yeah. Hey, and matter of fact, Uncle Dennis say, let me do all the talking, okay? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That way, if they deny it, they could just deny me. You could just come up here and say, hey, listen, my uncle was tripping. I ain't. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They got a mean game plan now. And for real, that ain't even my real uncle.
1:15:26Chad Johnson:Yeah.
1:15:30Chad Johnson:Hey, hey, hey, hey, they try to finesse the system, man. I ain't mad at them, bro. Straight up. Like, I think when you go to these negotiation tables and people really, really want your service, just kind of like how, you know, the Lakers and the Clippers wanted Kawhi. You asked for stuff. Man, why not? Yeah. Shit. Let's see if y 'all gonna bend the rules a little bit, okay? Yeah, I'm gonna bend the rules a little bit. Look, you know, it'd be real. I'd probably be more apt to probably sign if old Rolls Royce was out there or something. I mean, I sure would help me make my decision. Yeah, yeah.
1:16:06You know, I prayed about it last night. God said, ask for a Ferrari.
1:16:09Chad Johnson:Okay, okay. Listen, listen. We're going to, hey, hey, hey, I'm the Clippers. We're going to call the Rolls Royce place, and we're going to try to make sure we get you a Rolls Royce deal. That way, now, you might have to do an appearance or two, but you get to drive, you get to have a free Rolls Royce. What you think about that? Oh. You got to just show up twice. We got two appearances for you. our appearance you come sign some autographs you can even pull up in you allegedly what pablo torres reported that he had him he had those kind of deals that didn't have to show up yeah yeah if you're a hot if you let's just say you coming out of college and you good with you know coding or computer programming or now this this ai is taking over man you think I ain't gonna ask for the stars in the moon.
1:16:58Hello. Oh, you think I'm just gonna take a salary? I wish I might. I'm gonna ask for equity. I'm gonna ask for a private jet. All that. I'm asking for all that. Yeah. Yeah. How bad do you want my services?
1:17:14Chad Johnson:Mm.
1:17:18Chad Johnson:As a matter of fact, if you know, shoot them off, my brother and sister looks something too. Yeah. And he bought a little old 50, a little 50-thigh a year. Hello. A little something, hold him over. Get him out of my payroll right quick. That's a nice little cushion. Yeah, yeah, yeah. My mama, she don't need like about three grand a month to go gambling. You know, play if you don't do no play the quarter, quarter, and get to say slot. Yeah, sit there all day too, boy. Yeah. But, man, it's just Toronto's like, man, we can't take no chance, Kawhi, and sign you and then not have you. that defeat the purpose.
1:17:58Because that's the reason why they haven't done anything, Joe. Oh, Joe.
1:18:03Chad Johnson:Because Toronto don't know the repercussions is going to come behind all that. So it's like, damn, we close the deal on this trade, Ojo, and you suspended for the first 40 damn games. Hell, what they going to do for us? Nothing. Yeah. Yeah. But the Clippers, the Clippers like, damn, we might not have Kawhi and we might lose our first-round draft picks and we might reduce our salary cap. They're going to do something all that. That's coming. That's coming because you got to crack down on this because these owners make so much money on the O2. Yeah. And it ain't nothing. It ain't nothing for them to do an under-the-table deal.
1:18:46Chad Johnson:Damn it, because if I'm him, hey, look, I'm going to come to you now. I just need to, you know, shoot me a little extra 30, 40, 50 M's. Damn! Extra? Yeah. So we can keep the salary cap right to where we can still bring in, guys. But, yeah, I still want mine. Yeah. As a matter of fact, put it in one of them old Birkin bags. As a matter of fact, put it in a couple of them old Birkin bags. As many bricks as you can put in there, put it in there. Woo! Yes, sir. So we're going to see how this thing play out. They got to be wrapping this up. I mean, this thing can't – and I've been reading reports and talking about this thing might linger into 2027.
1:19:31That thing can't go to no damn 2027, Joe. We got to have some kind of resolution. We got to draw this thing to a conclusion here soon.
1:19:38Chad Johnson:Yeah, because if they don't, if it's got to go that long, does that mean Kawhi can't play until this is all figured out? Yeah. You know what I mean? maybe they will allow him to play and figure it out later on in the offseason nah they ain't doing that ain't been to rules too many times Ocho no sub
1:20:06somebody tell us something because think about it it didn't come out in 20 it didn't come out in 21 it didn't come out in 22 it didn't come out in 23 it didn't come out in 24 this thing did not come out until 26th why did it come out all of a sudden now I think because the company went bankrupt
1:20:25Chad Johnson:but he was still Kawhi was still getting paid though Ocho even though the company went bankrupt and reportedly didn't Balma write him a check for like 70 million ooh shoot
1:20:43Chad Johnson:there ain't nothing to Balma though Ocho That man worth$175 billion. What's$70 million to him? $70 ,000 to you and I. That man said bees. That man worth$175 billion. Man, come on. Hey, Unc, what did he do outside of owning a basketball team? He was the CEO of Microsoft. Oh, that makes sense. Okay, I got you. You know, so he took, you know, he's taking a billion dollars in salary, but he's taking, you know, 20, 30 million dollars worth of shares. And you see what Microsoft is as a trillion-dollar company now. Damn.
1:21:28So, they got to draw this to a conclusion. They can't let this go to 27-0, Joe. They can't. Man, the season start off. They going to play 30 games. Kawhi's sitting there. He'll go to the union. They fight this.
1:21:44Chad Johnson:Yeah, they're going to be. Whatever, if he gets suspended or whatever the case may be, he's probably going to fight it anyway. He's probably going to try and fight it, Unc, but it's going to be a massive suspension behind this. And it's going to be some real repercussions when it comes to the Clippers and the things that they're able to do in the foreseeable future. The NBA, man, they ain't going for this, bro. Honestly. Honestly. Honestly, no one wants to think about HIV, But there are things that everyone can do to help prevent it. Things like PrEP. PrEP stands for pre-exposure prophylaxis, and it means routinely taking prescription medicine before you're exposed to HIV to help reduce your chances of getting it.
1:22:22PrEP can be about 99 % effective when taken as prescribed. It doesn't protect against other STIs, though, so be sure to use condoms and other healthy sex practices.
