2:10Shannon Sharpe:A potential trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo could be picking up momentum ahead of February 5th trade deadline. Charm's report, Giannis is ready for a new home and the trade deadline or in the offseason as several rival teams make aggressive offers for the Milwaukee Bucks and for him. The franchise is starting to listen. Shams gave an additional background during the report inside the NBA, listening the Knicks, Warrior, Heat, Timberwolves as potential landing spot for Giannis. In September 2020, Giannis says his future lies in Milwaukee and that he wouldn't try to push his way to a new destination.

2:45Shannon Sharpe:It's not happening. That's not happening. Some will, some see a wall and go another direction. I applied through it. We just have to get better as a team individually and get back at it next season. He also said, this is what he said after winning a championship, it is easy to go somewhere else and go win a championship with somebody else. It's easy. I could go to a super team, but I just do my part and win a championship. But this is hard the way I do it and the way to do it and the way we did it. F did it we did it man you don't hear what he said we're talking real spicy

3:31Chad Johnson:I hear him I hear him talking spicy didn't he just sign with I think he did didn't he just sign with Rich Paul yeah so he may not come out per se and say he want to be traded Rich going to be the bad guy in this. He already been the bad guy, so there ain't no problem for him. That's what I'm trying to tell you. Hold on. Joe? Joe and Uncle? Didn't I tell y 'all he was getting traded a long time ago? Well, we knew that because we heard the whistle. We just don't know where he's going yet.

4:04Joe Johnson:Yeah, I mean, well, I'm not going to – I don't want to mess up my source, but go ahead. I'm going to let y 'all finish. You think he going to the Heat? I'm saying the Heat is in the running. The talks are happening behind closed doors. I'm not sure if they're going to be able to put a package together to get him because of the package that they're going to put together. We ain't going to have no goddamn bench.

4:24Chad Johnson:Y 'all may get Ja Morant, Ocho, but y 'all ain't going to get Yannis. I'm with Unk. I think Yannis is going to go to New York.

4:32Joe Johnson:Yannis over there? Kat and Yannis swap?

4:36Shannon Sharpe:That's going to be one of them. And about three first riders and about three pick swaps. First riders and three pick swaps.

4:45Chad Johnson:Yeah, but I definitely think he's going to get out of Milwaukee. Considering that he done changed Asians, Uncle Ocho, that means something. The writing on the wall, Joe. But you see, you have to be careful. The thing that I like most about LeBron and Kevin Durant, don't give a damn what people say. See, Giannis cares about what people say. That's why he's trying to do it this way, because he don't want to be the bad guy. He don't want to be the bad guy. Now, everybody crushed LeBron for leaving Cleveland and going to Miami. Everybody killed Kevin Durant for leaving OKC and going to the Warriors.

5:21Each guy believed that they couldn't win a championship there as the roster was concurrently constructed. So they left, and everybody ripped them. I'm trying to figure out how everybody got on board for Giannis. Because he said he didn't want to be in no super team. He said he didn't want to go nowhere. That's what he's saying. I'm just saying what he's saying. Now, if it's a lie, he told it. Now, what's the difference? If I like it, Joe, whatever you do, I can see no wrong in it. Go ahead, Joe. I think, you know, he was a little excited.

5:58Chad Johnson:Caught in the moment. They had won a championship. And I think his emotions just kind of got the best of them. You just go to talking and rambling. But you can't – you don't know, you don't know, you know, what your future holds two, three years down the line after you win a title or you playing on these great teams, so to speak. It's a lot can happen in a year, man. You know what I mean? So I'm looking forward to a shakeup in the NBA. I think the NBA needs it, man. We need a good shakeup. Hopefully he goes – wherever he goes, Arke Ojo, they probably going to be picked to win it. I'm just going to keep it real.

6:36Chad Johnson:The boy talented. Oh yeah, for sure. Yeah. He talented. He gonna bring some positives to whatever team he go to. Man, if he go to New York, they gonna... But look at Miles Turner's like, bro, I came to play with you in less than a year, you out. Real Marcus said, we did everything we could. We brought in Dane for you. We messed up our stuff. We gave up what we gave up to try to get you. They screwed. You need a guy like this, it takes years to recover.

7:07Joe Johnson:You got to get a little lucky. Because ain't nothing like that coming through that door no time soon. Well. No time soon. Collectively, collectively, it just depends on what you get back.

7:20Chad Johnson:You get a couple players who can keep you afloat, keep you at least top six in the East, seven in the East, have you to where you still competing. You don't want to plummet, and now you ain't even in the play-in. You know what I mean? You still want to compete.

7:34Shannon Sharpe:I think the thing is, like, with Cleveland, when Bron left, you look at all the first-round picks that they – because the thing is that you don't want him to leave for nothing. See, KD? What KD kind of crippled OKC is because when he left, they didn't get nothing. Probably had they known maybe you traded, but you're hoping that you can resign him. Well, LeBron leaves and these guys like this leave, and you don't get draft compensation, you don't get a couple of quality players and some first-round draft picks, you're doomed. You're doomed. Yeah. Because the NBA, unlike the NFL, is a superstar-driven league.

8:17One player can really change everything. Everything. Yep.

8:21Chad Johnson:Absolutely. And so you really, you really, like, if you get them, that's why they have, they carry so much weight. That's why they have so much clout. That's why teams give in to these guys. They talk about, oh, you know, Kludge got too much control. Y 'all gave into that because y 'all knew y 'all wanted LeBron. You know what comes along with that. You know what comes along with having a Kobe. Rest his soul. You know what comes along with having a LeBron or Giannis or KD. You know what comes along with it. Don't pretend now. They want to leave or something. It's time, you know. Now all of a sudden, like, we didn't know you knew.

8:56You knew what comes along with players like that.

9:00Shannon Sharpe:I can only imagine because I know how it is for a quarterback the Brady's and the top tier quarterbacks I can only imagine what it is a superstar because you got only 15 players you got 53 guys you got the mold and Joel and make sure everybody's on and NBA that ain't there

9:19Chad Johnson:got 13 guys you know good well our best friends and all that stuff ain't getting to come anytime they want to they ain't getting no key to no building they can't do whatever they want to no no no no no no no no no no no hey hey no we we ain't signing your brother neither exactly we ain't saying so if they trade yonis they got to trade his brother with oh that's a that's a package deal oh yeah yeah yeah that's a that's a combo burger and fries yeah hey we charge you eight dollars whether you get the fries or not so you might as well get it so you get this combo you get the burger fries and coke for eight dollars or you don't have to take the coke you don't have to take the fries but you still getting charged eight dollars ain't no price ain't nothing yes sir yes sir but i just look i i i don't i don't begrudge yannis i just think the thing is is that you know he's it it's it's easy to say those things joe and ocho when things are going good see now he's come to the realization man they can't get Ain't nobody wanting to say, you know what?

10:22Let me go to Milwaukee in free agency. Not anybody good. You got Miles Turner because, I don't know, I guess Miles felt he felt some type of way about Indy. You know, reports are they gave him give Indy a chance to match or anything.

10:37Chad Johnson:I don't think Indy was going to match that. They gave him a nice little bag to come over to Milwaukee. But you let me ask your question. If he thought Giannis was going to leave, you think he'd have took that? Nope. Absolutely not. I don't know. I think he probably, I think obviously he wanted to play with Giannis, but to get his money, Uncle Ocho, yeah, he probably yeah.

10:55Joe Johnson:He would have win anyway? Yeah, yeah to get his money? He could have got his money somewhere else.

11:01Chad Johnson:I don't know. He got it like 100 and something. 108 got like 108. I mean, he could have got that 108 elsewhere if he knew Giannis was leaving. I believe Indiana would have gave him something close to that. Maybe not 108, maybe 100. Maybe 98. I think with Halliburton getting hurt, They kind of derailed everything they kind of had going. But guess what? Halliburton's going to come back. When Giannis leave, Giannis ain't coming back. And if he does, he won't be there. Indiana can trade for him and bring it back. They can bring Buddy back to Indiana. They might.

11:37Shannon Sharpe:But the thing is, when you're in these markets, I can see if he's in New York, he's in Chicago, he's in L.A. it's easier to get free agents to come to those cities than it is you ain't getting nobody to come to Milwaukee LeBron couldn't get LeBron was at the apex of his powers in Cleveland and he couldn't get anybody and for whatever reason guys I don't know why people don't want to go to Miami KD how many chances KD had to go to Miami Joe and they went yet

12:12Chad Johnson:he had a couple times Man, look, you know Pat run a tight ship over there, huh? You know, you got, you know, them dudes, you talking about megastars. They want to bring their security. They want to bring their partners. Yep. And Pat ain't having it. He ain't having all that. Yeah, he ain't having it. You want your trainer to travel with him? No, we ain't doing all that. He can meet us in the next city. Yeah. We ain't doing all that. Hey, Randy, Randy, Randy travel. Yeah. Bron's chief of staff. I've never seen Bron without Randy. Right. Me neither.

12:55They're cool people to me. Oh, yeah. They're good people. They're good people. He got to.

13:02Shannon Sharpe:The hardest thing I think, Joe, you can tell. Let me know what you think about this. Coming to the realization that I can no longer win here, no matter how great I am, I can't win a championship in Milwaukee again.

13:16Chad Johnson:Yeah, I mean, he won a championship. He won him a title. So him moving around or getting traded to another team, I don't think it's that bad, honestly. I know if you're a Milwaukee fan or you live in Milwaukee, you don't want him to go. But I think it's time for him to move on. and yes, I think Giannis has come to the realization that we just not that team that we used to be. We just not a dominant team anymore. No matter if he's scoring 35 a night, 16 rebounds, none of that matters. We're not getting dubs. So I think it is. I think he has realized that, which is why he has switched agents and you can kind of see the writing on the wall.

14:01Joe, and I think the thing is when they let Holiday go, he's like hold on wait a minute wait a minute

14:12well they

14:13Chad Johnson:they let Holiday go and they got Dame but Holiday went to Boston and won another title so I think you know maybe Giannis felt a way about that but I thought Dame and Giannis was gonna be perfect if they want for Dame getting hurt we don't know what they could have been we never got a chance to really see it it was just like Like, it's just – I just didn't see them being Shaq and Kobe,

14:38Shannon Sharpe:D-Wade and Kobe. Nah. I didn't see that. And I think people thought that because they could be great in the pick and roll. Dane's a point, can handle the ball, can get the three off because when they pack the lane, Dane's going to get wide open shots. But for whatever reason, it was – I mean, it seemed like they played better when the other was off the court.

14:57Chad Johnson:Yeah. Yeah. A little more free. I think if wherever Giannis goes, though, Arkin Ocho, he's going to kind of have to change his game a little bit because he's so ball dominant. Like, if you go on to play with another great point guard, let's say if you do go to New York, yeah, you're playing with Brunson, man, you're going to have to get in where you fit in because they're not just going to give you the ball and let you bring it up every day and make it play. It's just not going to go like that. It's going to be – it's tough, man.

15:28Shannon Sharpe:It's tough because these small market teams, when you get a superstar, you do everything you possibly can. You cater to them. San Antonio, they say the wives and girlfriends got to travel, and that was one of the reasons Tim Duncan didn't go to Orlando because he asked, would wives be able to travel? They're like, nah, we don't do that here. Okay, well, I don't come here.

15:50Chad Johnson:Right. Hey, you be doing your homework. Oh, yeah, yeah, oh, yeah. I know something, don't I? I talk to him, like I said, I don't really look. I know a lot of people in the league, and I talk to him, and I, you know, hey. This don't go any further than this. I'm cool. Think about this, Arcan Ocho. If Tim Duncan goes to Orlando, he playing with T-Mac and Grand Hill. Changes the landscape.

16:20Shannon Sharpe:Changes. and because they wouldn't allow that man wife to travel on some road trips. Yeah. Yeah. That's all you had to do, Ocho. Thanks. To get Tim Duncan. Shit, bring them crying kids too. Bad plea. To get a Tim Duncan? Yeah. But you're talking about arguably a top 10 player all time. All time. And he was a top 10. At that point in time, he was a top five player in the NBA at that point in time. Yeah. Yeah. Man, please. Damn. That's crazy. But there are certain things like certain guys, you know, free agency, I'm sure. Tom Brady had, I get a sweep. Peyton, I get a sweep. You know, I want that, Ocho.

17:18Yeah. on the road. I don't know. Maybe I get a suite on the road. Come Super Bowl time, I'm going to need X amount of tickets. I'm going to need a suite. I'm going to need access to a suite because my family can't sit outside.

17:33Shannon Sharpe:Okay. I mean, to get a superstar, you, hey.

17:39Chad Johnson:Yeah. Got the bargain. Got to accommodate them. Yes. But I guess that That was a Spurs thing. I guess the Spurs still do the Spurs. You played for the Spurs, did you? Joe, did you play for the Spurs? No, I ain't played for the Spurs. Do they still lob wives and girlfriends on the plane? I don't know if the Spurs probably do. But I'm thinking, like, man, we ain't. The teams I played on, I played here in Atlanta for seven years. You could never bring girlfriends, wives. You could never. Kids. You could never bring. You couldn't do none of that. You couldn't do none of that. Even when I played in Phoenix and I played on that great team, I don't never remember none of that.

18:26Chad Johnson:I don't never remember no team I played on where they was allowing you to bring your wife, your kids. I don't remember none of that. Go ask the Raptors what they did when they got Kawhi. They let him do whatever they did.

18:44Joe Johnson:For real?

18:44Chad Johnson:He brought him a championship and got on up out of there. Damn. Hey, that's baller right there. Ocho, a team trade for you. You go there, you win a title. Nah, I'm good. I'm going to go home. I'm going to go to LA. I'm gone. You're out of there.

19:08I don't... Look, get it. They got it. Get it. get it I mean me that's me I don't you know I don't want I wouldn't want my wife or girlfriend in that situation but some people want their wife or girlfriend now the only wives on that plane the owner's wife and Mike's wife the only two women on that plane other than the flight attendants right period we didn't even think about that what now when we went overseas where did we go? We went to

19:46Shannon Sharpe:Berlin and we went to Barcelona. We were allowed to bring our wives and girlfriend on the plane. So we all traveled together. What a time.

19:56Joe Johnson:That's dope.

20:00Yeah, yeah, that was good. But Giannis is going to be on the move. And guess what? He definitely. As soon as the trade deadline hit February the 5th. That's next Thursday, right? That's the trade deadline next Thursday. All of a sudden, y 'all the Cavs gonna be, he's a six-day week. I think, oh, you know what? I feel good to go. I'm good. I feel good to go, Joe.

20:24I feel good to go.

20:26Shannon Sharpe:But damn. Because you gotta think about, Joe, when they got Kareem, he left. They had some good teams, but not like when they had Kareem. and so when you get a guy, you draft a guy, you get a LeBron or you get a Giannis or you get a Kareem in these small markets, boy, you pray to God.

20:50Chad Johnson:They have to cater to these stars because they know at some point these stars want to go out west, play in L.A., play in New York. They already know this, so they got to do whatever they can to keep them, especially these small market teams. I think it's pretty understood. you know what I mean I mean

21:12Shannon Sharpe:I guess people said that Popovich allowed that you know some people hey they want their wives I remember when I first got to Denver Ocho we used to stay at home night before the game

21:23Joe Johnson:yeah we weren't allowed to do that we got Wade Phillips and we said okay we gonna stay at the hotel night before a game I said why why we just can't stay at home but you know guys be out

21:36Chad Johnson:yeah you talking about a home game Yeah, that's the home game. Guys, we were allowed to stay for three years at our own house. Man, that's baller, bro. I can't believe, like, in a home game, y 'all had to go to hotels. In the Super Bowl, Dan, he allowed wives and girlfriends to stay in the same room as the guys. Damn. Now, when we went, the family had their own hotel. Right. We had our own hotel. we could go down there but they couldn't come to our hotel because Mike's like no

22:14Shannon Sharpe:we're not going to have kids running on the hall we're not going to have all this and that if you want to see the kids go down there

22:23Chad Johnson:make that little sacrifice for a day or two that was a good

22:30Shannon Sharpe:that's how we should be and I think families understand that you'll understand look we're there to win a game it's much more fun look I didn't lose but I can just imagine it's probably more fun to win than it is to lose that game

22:45Joe Johnson:yeah yeah especially that one

22:47Shannon Sharpe:man Ocho it happens so quick the gun in man you look up Ocho they done got the field taped off I'm like well damn and they usher you out hey they like dap him up and you dapping somebody else, they pushing them off the field. Because, you know, family coming on, media coming on, cameras, everybody coming on. Confetti is falling down. I'm like, well, damn. And then I remember in Baltimore, guys, that was Sunday. So that Monday, man, we pulled up. We leaving at the same time the Giants leaving. Ocho, you would have thought they was going to a funeral. Man, they look so dejected. They were sad. I said, oh, my God.

23:38Shannon Sharpe:I said, I sure hope I never had a feel like that. Because I can just imagine. I know how I felt when we lost in 96. That was a divisional game. Can you imagine? Man, I don't know what I'd have done, Ocho. I don't know what I'd have done, Ocho.

23:53Chad Johnson:And you got to go into the summer with that feeling? Oh, man. At least they don't really show divisional rounds like they show the Super Bowl. NFL Network gonna show the Super Bowl about 25 times between now and next football.

24:13Shannon Sharpe:Nah, bro. Milwaukee, I'm sorry. Y 'all have had two of the greatest players in NBA history. 27:03Joe Johnson:Damn, he been there at all? And brought him a championship. Damn.

27:11Chad Johnson:They got some nice pieces though. They get some in return, they can still stay in the hunt. but that boy, they're going to be a fool wherever he goes.

27:21Shannon Sharpe:Jay Crowder, Rips Doc Rivers, said Bucs hiring head coach started Giannis Trey Rumors Avalanche. We started 30-13. To bring in Doc, this is what started the Avalanche. Adrian Wojnarowski, the Milwaukee Bucs, dismissed Adrian Griffin. Sources tell ESPN. Joe, what you think? Yeah. You think that's what started?

27:46Chad Johnson:I thought Adrian was doing a great job. I thought Adrian Griffin was doing a great job, Uncle Ocho. 30 and 13? And you – 30 and 13. They had to be top two, three team in the East. And you fire him to bring in Doc, and everything just kind of dwindled from there. You know what I mean? Like you had a good team in place. Obviously, with Dame getting hurt, I just think it kind of lost all hope. but yeah they gotta get rid of Giannis now

28:19Shannon Sharpe:they got to Doc gotta stay there damn yeah you can't

28:29Chad Johnson:that don't happen in football hell no

28:35Shannon Sharpe:the Chargers fired Marty Schottenheimer after going 14-2 because him and AJ Smith

28:40Joe Johnson:you remember that Ocho yeah they fired Lovie Smith after going

28:45Shannon Sharpe:and they didn't and they was in and they was in hell until they got Ben Johnson

28:51Joe Johnson:Ben J up

28:52Shannon Sharpe:they should have never fired Lovey but AJ Smith and Marty Schottenheimer rest Marty's soul they couldn't agree he went 14 and 2 and they fired him

29:03Chad Johnson:but the killer part is I don't even think Agent Griffin gonna get another another crank at it

29:09Joe Johnson:probably won't it's a cold world boy probably won't

29:17damn

29:19Shannon Sharpe:and that's the sad part about it Joe because you know he's not one of them names Adrian Griffin what was the guy that was at the Pelicans I don't know if he'll get another job either

29:30Chad Johnson:Willie Green

29:30Shannon Sharpe:I don't know if he'll get another job either

29:32Chad Johnson:I played with Willie here in Atlanta I played with him for like a year or two here in Atlanta yeah he might not get another chance neither I don't care what Joe that's crazy

29:42Shannon Sharpe:LeBron tears up over the tribute, the video, as the Cavs rout the Lakers. Bron teared up during a timeout with 7.46 remaining in the first quarter when the Cavs showed video highlights of him scoring 25 straight points during Game 5 of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals against the Pistons. He wiped his eyes with a towel after the video played. It was the first time that the Cavaliers have honored LeBron by playing a highlight from that game. Usually, they show clips of Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals when Cleveland won its first championship. Joe, did the Hawks give you a video tribute?

30:19Chad Johnson:Yeah, they gave me a video tribute.

30:20Shannon Sharpe:You become emotional?

30:21Chad Johnson:They gave me a video tribute. Did you become emotional? No, I ain't become emotional. You know, I be so locked in. I mean, I'm appreciative of it. And I obviously got great memories. You know, they still got a lot of people who work at the arena. Yeah. When I was playing, they still there. So when I go to the arena, when I go to the house games, when I go to quite a few, man, it brings back so many memories. I ain't going to lie. I get chills. I get goosebumps when I walk in there because I get to see a lot of old, familiar faces and a lot of people who've seen me go to war night in and night out.

30:57Chad Johnson:So it's always a great feeling to be back in there. But for LeBron tonight, for what he's done for Cleveland, you know, coming back, Uncle Ocho, from that deficit down 3-1. In the finals and coming back and winning it? Man, please. And then he led everybody at every stat. Points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals. Hey, man, what he's done for the NBA alone since he was 17, 18 years old, man. Uncle Ocho is remarkable, bro. Like, I tip my hat to him because he exceeded expectations. You know what I mean? I heard about him my rookie year when he was just a junior in high school when Antoine Walker was saying, man, this is a dude, LeBron James, came to Chicago, hooped with us.

31:46Chad Johnson:You know, he already looked like a pro. I'm like, man, please. Ain't no dude coming in this league finna be cutting up like that. Right. That boy came in here stepping on some stuff. You hear me? You right. I mean, there are not very many 6-, 7-, 18-year-olds get drafted and automatically get handed the keys to the car. Because they wasn't physically opposing like he was at 18, Uncle Ocho. The man was built. He was already. He already had a grown man body. Yeah. He had no little 18-year-old body. That boy was grown.

32:25Shannon Sharpe:According to the ESPN report, the Cavs would welcome LeBron back this summer too if he wanted to join the team for his 24th season. Joe, would you like to see LeBron go back to the Cavs?

32:41Chad Johnson:I wouldn't mind it. But, hey, look. But just how we talk about Giannis and his brother got to get up out of there, they're going to have to bring Bronny with him. Bronny got to go with him. Bronny got to go home with him. Bronny got out. Bronny hit two threes tonight. Got a dunk. Yeah. Yeah. But, hey, the game was so out of control. It was bad. It was bad. but I do think him going back to Cleveland will definitely help them because they got everything you can need man they just need somebody to orchestrate that thing

33:16Joe Johnson:that'll be dope Joe I think that will be dope obviously Bronny going back to it with him but I know LeBron going to keep it going though he going to keep it going until he gets the opportunity to play with his second son I'm telling you that's what's going to happen

33:31Chad Johnson:but ain't that man building like some 30 million Yeah,$35,$40 million. It might be more than that because he bought the house for$30 million and tore it down. I didn't like that, Ocho. I'm moving in. $30 million, I'm moving in. They better have left the furniture, TVs, linens, everything.

33:57Joe Johnson:Hey, that's a different kind of thing. Yeah, they tore that thing down. $35 million, man, please. I mean you start seeing houses like 35 million and 50 million 70 million I went to a 70 million dollar house ooh wasn't that nice shoot that goddamn who is that that's Ross Ross bought something over here on Star Island down here in Miami man house about 28 million ask me where ask me where the house at knocked it all the way down to rebuild

34:30Shannon Sharpe:wow I was gonna start we had a party I was out there on Star Island one time at the Super Bowl. We came to the Super Bowl in 99, old Joe. The Howard's car, called a helicopter over there. Called a helicopter over there, old Joe, old Shane down here. Yeah. What's up, buddy? I ain't like that no more. I was held when I was well. Yeah, yeah. I ain't like that no more. Slow down. Hips got me.

34:51Joe Johnson:Hey. Hey, Joe, it's different over there on Star Island, boy. Listen, you got to have a different type of.

34:59Chad Johnson:Yeah. they got to be coming out the wazoo ain't it man hey and the funny thing about it

35:04Joe Johnson:um most of the people that own them houses on star island then them damn vacation vacation home like come on man a vacation home for 30 up joe ain't nothing over there 20 million or less nothing everything's starting at 20 and up damn it's uh and the house hey i went to the uh i was Like, you know what? He got this house, 70 million, all this, the whole wall go down. You could overlook all of LA and see all the, about everything. I was like, let me go see what he got in the garage. What he had in that home? Two Teslas. A collector. What? Two Teslas.

35:46I swear.

35:51That's it? Two Teslas. Hey, hold on.

35:56Joe Johnson:his house was 70 70 million like seven euro told a real estate agent he looking for something in the neighborhood between 60 and 100 million he gave him seven days to find something

36:14i mean the deal i mean the table we said that don't you probably it probably see about 34 30 40

36:20Joe Johnson:people oh one of them yeah okay i know you talk about like in the castle like in the castle man they tried to talk to me i said y 'all have to come down here man tell me what he's saying man i can't hear what he's talking about way down there you're talking about football and what i think about this what i think about that better eggs right right baby that's that's that's that's different oh yeah oh you gotta see that you you gotta see it you gotta see this house for you

36:52Joe Johnson:Yeah, maybe one day we might be able to get it.

36:54Shannon Sharpe:I don't want no house on$70 million, man. Hell no.

36:57Joe Johnson:Hell no. $70 million for a house? Do you know the upkeep is on that? I mean, you never know what God might bless you with. He can bless me with 70, and I get me the house I'm in. Okay. Okay. Yeah, you say that now. No, okay.

37:16Chad Johnson:Man, listen. 70 million dollar house what's the square footage on that probably I would say somewhere between 30 and 40 thousand square feet god damn

37:32Chad Johnson:I'm telling you hey you won't even see oh yeah yeah yeah I mean they got the couch probably like 20 feet got a fireplace I swear, I swear. It got a fireplace by... The fireplace is probably 10, maybe 15 feet wide.

37:58Joe Johnson:Jesus Christ. And so that's just the outside. That's the one that you sit on and an infinity pool. That's not the pool that got down, but that's just the infinity pool. That you...

38:13Shannon Sharpe:Lord, have mercy. yeah yeah I tell you what

38:23Shannon Sharpe:I'm gonna call him and say man you know I told somebody about your place I want to take him up there to see it see I'm trying to stay there a few days I told him I didn't want to be like you know if you ever want to stay I say I couldn't I couldn't even get conscious I can't sleep I could well you you don't have to stay I can't sleep Hey, how am I going to sleep watching? Make sure there's nothing to leave this man's house. Man, I can't sleep a week. Hell no. Hey, don't worry about it. I'll stay for you. Hell, absolutely not. I don't want no part of that.

41:05Joe Johnson:You ain't got to stay. Just introduce him to me. I'll be there. Man, what's wrong with dude? Hey, Joe. Hey, I'll be there. That is joking here. Yeah. The Browns.

41:15Shannon Sharpe:Joe Cho have hired former Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Munkin to be the next head coach. Munkin, who has spent the last three seasons in Baltimore, will become the Cleveland's 11th full-time coach since returning to the NFL in 1999. In Munkin's first season with the Ravens, he helped Lamar Jackson win his second MVP in 2023. Despite the great success in 23 and 24 with Munkin as Ravens OC, as Lamar OC, Munkin had chemistry issues during the previous season as reported by team sources. Munkin demanding coaching style clash with Lamar's preference. Ocho? Yeah. How do you see Todd Munkin handling the battle between Shadour and Deshaun if he couldn't deal with Lamar?

42:06Joe Johnson:Well, listen, he's had some success with Lamar. It doesn't matter who coach Lamar. Lamar is going to be who Lamar is. Joe, you can go out there and coach Lamar. He's going to be the exact player he's always been. He's going to be that two-time MVP type player that can change the dynamic of a game at any point. Todd Munkin is going to have to get in his bag over there in Cleveland. He'll do more than that. He's going to have to get in his bag as an offensive coordinator and have a plan. I'm not sure what that plan is going to be. I'm not sure who you're going to go with, whether it's Deshaun Watson, whether it's Dillon Gabriel or whether it's Shadour Sanders, but he's going to have to find and find out very quick who's going to be quarterback number one in the team and after that then you figure out what you're going to do in the other surrounding areas offensively where you need help and they're going to need a lot of help.

42:55Joe Johnson:I have no problem with the hire itself. He's had success obviously with Lamar but there is no Lamar Jackson in Cleveland. there is no Lamar Jackson in Cleveland therefore everything Todd Munkin has to provide to help those quarterbacks he gonna have to be in his bag huh he got to be

43:16Shannon Sharpe:in it remember he won two national championships with Stetson Bennett as a quarterback at the University of Georgia hold on

43:21Joe Johnson:wait a minute Stetson Bennett as his quarterback on a Georgia team that was loaded on goddamn defense now he has he's going back to a team where they're loaded on defense. Now the Achilles here for the Cleveland Browns has always been on offense. If you can get that offense on point, just meet them halfway, Unk. Just maybe somewhere, Joe, in the middle of the pack. You ain't got to be top five. You ain't got to be top five. Just meet us half goddamn way, please.

43:48Chad Johnson:They got some promising young talent, though,

43:50Joe Johnson:Uncle Ocho. Hey, Unk, what's the tight end name? Fanny. Oh, Fanny. Harold Fanny Jr. Damn it. hey that young boy that young boy there boy hey Joe he is the real deal and speaking of Cleveland Brown if I see Miles Garrett anywhere in Santa Clara yeah he got to see me he gave your jersey away Joe he sent the jersey to the Hall of Fame instead of getting it to me knowing I asked for it first man we told you he was going to do that Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe. I'm finna molly whopping, Joe. I'm finna molly whopping. Hey, Ocho. Ocho, leave that long. Let that go. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. You don't disrespect me like that.

44:37Joe Johnson:You told me you was gonna give me the jersey. So that means you're supposed to be a man of your word and give me the jersey. I don't care who asked for it. If I ask first and you say yes, now I gotta whoop your ass.

44:48Chad Johnson:Well, I don't think he gonna be ducking on smoke.

44:50Joe Johnson:Yeah, but he ain't gotta duck. He ain't gotta duck. He ain't gotta duck. He gonna get what he looking for. Okay. He think he had 23 sacks. and going to be 24 when I get done with you.

44:59Shannon Sharpe:I think the thing is, for me, Ocho, let me know what you think, Joe. I think it'll be easy. It's hard to coach superstar quarterbacks. It's hard. It ain't easy. Ask anybody that's ever had to coach them. You think it's easy coaching Don Brady? It makes your job easy, but they're going to need to know. They need to know what you're telling me is legit. They got questions. They're going to need you to give them answers. Not while I get back to you. you know, you better find, you better know the answer.

45:31It's not easy coaching these guys now because these guys are brainy. I mean, you talk about Lamar and Lamar, like, Lamar, like, hold on. Who are you yelling? Who do you think you're talking to?

45:42Joe Johnson:And I'm so glad you just mentioned that too, with how hard it is to coach quarterbacks. And I'm not sure if you've seen the clip, Joe, or Unk. I'm sure you saw the clip, Unk. I know you've seen it before, but goddamn Bill O 'Brien and Tom going at it on the sideline. Brady going down the sideline. Chad, I don't know if you guys have seen that clip. So if they went at it like that on the sideline, what do you think happened in practice? Oh, yeah. Hey, Joe, one of the greatest times of my life being a New England Patriot is goddamn Bill O 'Brien and Tom Brady going at it in practice for about five minutes straight.

46:21Joe Johnson:I'm talking about, you think I be messing up cursing on here sometime? Oh, Tom will curse now. Hey, Joe, I was sitting there smiling ear to ear. I'm like, oh, what are they really going at? Like, cut his ass out, Tom. Hey, I'm like, oh, this is how it is. No one of these dudes win all the goddamn time. Everything got to be right, Joe. Yeah. Everything has to be perfect. If it's not perfect, you're doing it over. And you're not doing the play over. You're starting the whole period over and doing it again. That's what was expected of everybody, especially offensively. So when things didn't go right, Tom got on Bill.

47:01Joe Johnson:When things didn't go right, Bill got on Tom. And they kept that standard no matter what. And it helped me understand, well, goddamn, no wonder they went all the goddamn time. And, dog, Unk, I wish you could have been there to see that, Unk. I ain't never in the history of all the times I played the game of football ever seen a quarter and the coach go at it like that. But it was awesome. And from that point on, the rest of practice, he mac - Oh, you gotta have a standard. Not one mistake, not one drop ball, no nothing. It just, everything went smooth. We went out there, I forgot who we played that week.

47:39Joe Johnson:Man, we put up back damn near 40 points, Joe. Put a band of 40 points. Oh, that's, yeah, we went to the Super Bowl, Joe. Yeah, we went to the Super Bowl that year. Man, man. There has to be a level of expectation.

47:51Chad Johnson:Who y 'all lost to that year, Ocho? The Giants, man. Oh, Eli.

47:57Joe Johnson:Yeah, Eli. Mario Manningham on the sideline and gets covered, too. Yeah, on the sideline. He dropped it in the bucket, Ocho. He dropped it in the bucket. That was a beautiful throw. That was a beautiful throw. Yeah, that's what I've looked. You know, being around John and being around Mike, because Mike was like that. For real?

48:18you might get away if you drop one in a team period drop two start it over

48:29Lord please do all I'm saying I don't want to be the one right man

48:36Shannon Sharpe:boy look here Mike was hell man there's a when I say he said don't accept anything in a win you wouldn't have lost yeah he meant that yeah he had to have we had to get it i mean run catch any pass i don't give a damn if it was a down flat you finishing 40 yards 40 yeah and come back and they got to run back yeah

49:11Shannon Sharpe:but then you like okay now i understand why we do it you get a greater appreciation for why you do things and you see okay so this is why the 49ers had success because they were they were like the patriots in the 80s yeah you're like okay Now I see. Now I see.

49:37Shannon Sharpe:Browns defense coordinator Jim Swartz might be out of the door after the team hired Munkin as his head coach, according to Tom Pelissero. Pelissero reported that Swartz, who was one of the three finalists, was visibly upset and said goodbyes in the building and told other coaches he's not coming back. Opposing teams are reportedly ready to pounce if he leaves also. Miles Garrett just posted on IG

50:06that's bro sitting down like damn

50:09Joe Johnson:hey Joe you see that lady that work at Popeye see how she look that's just how I'm finna have Miles looking when I catch up to him out there in Santa Clara just like that

50:20Shannon Sharpe:Miles like man this man just got me a unanimous defensive player of the year I was playing good with this man and this is what y 'all do hey

50:28Joe Johnson:come on now man listen anybody you could have been coaching that Browns defense Miles Garrett still would have got them 23 sacks he still would have been an all pro matter of fact even if Mr. Schwartz is leaving whoever comes in to take over that goddamn defense you got the pieces and the personnel where you gonna be alright you got the pieces and the personnel where you gonna be alright that was the top 5 defense all season long now.

50:57Chad Johnson:Right.

50:58Joe Johnson:Joe, they ain't shabby at all.

51:00Chad Johnson:Yeah, nah. I checked them out a few times. They did their thing. They good defensively.

51:06Shannon Sharpe:They good defensively. Very good. They just need some pieces offensively. They need a wide receiver. They need offensive line help. I'm thinking Joe Koo's going to leave so we'll get another tight end. Do you really? Yeah.

51:20Chad Johnson:That's why they got Fanny then.

51:22Shannon Sharpe:It don't hurt to have two of them, Joe. You can find you one of the fourth or fifth round.

51:29Joe Johnson:Hey, Fanny.

51:30Shannon Sharpe:Oh, I like him. I like him.

51:31Joe Johnson:I like him a lot. He nice.

51:34Chad Johnson:You think Njoku gonna require too much money?

51:38Shannon Sharpe:Like you said, they got Fanny. So, you know, we go draft a tight end. We get him on a low number. Run a lot of double tight end sets. Yeah. Look at the Patriots. They got Hooper and they got Hunter Henry. You look at the Bills. team you know it definitely helps definitely helps the bills promoted offensive coordinator joe brady as the next head coach earlier this week the division the decision to fire sean mcdermott and elevate brady rather than clean house is now under heavy scrutiny ocho are you confident that joe brady is the guy i mean what's the goddamn difference he was already there

52:16Joe Johnson:here you might as well kept me you might as well have kept mr mcdermott joe that don't make no sense to me yeah if you if you're a head coach and someone that's under you you know i mean if if you find mcdermott why the hell everybody else ain't fired they want a different voice in there ojo man come on now come on i don't understand how brandon bean kept his job

52:42Shannon Sharpe:who was at the gym i don't know how he kept his job yeah that's what i need somebody to help me explain that to me. Because it seemed like Sean McDermott caught all the criticism. And I get it, you know, Mr. Magula, you know, he's supporting his GM because he gave him more title. But those four layers, I think, you know, he wanted to put, what's the key? Keon Coleman, he put that in the lap of Sean McDermott.

53:09Joe Johnson:Yeah.

53:10Shannon Sharpe:I just.

53:12Joe Johnson:It's crazy. a new voice that's the same voice he's heard

53:20Shannon Sharpe:look I think Joe Brady did a phenomenal job I think the thing is Ocho is that Sean McDermott you know his defense they've been one of the top offenses but defensively it's kind of where they falter and that's his level of expertise remember they fired Leslie Frazier yes yeah

53:45Joe Johnson:Leslie Frazier was our D coordinator in Cincinnati too huh yeah Leslie Frazier Coach Frazier so what do you think Super Bowl or bust this year Ocho for the Bills well hell that was supposed to be this year huh this year this was the easiest route for him you ain't had to deal with three of three of the better players out of the AFC you know so maybe next year maybe next year is a little different maybe he can run the gauntlet he can beat Mahomes he can beat Burrow he can beat Lamar Jackson we don't know we don't know what next year is going to look like but hell man what the Bills need

54:29Shannon Sharpe:a receiver a one

54:35they got a one I think the thing is there's too many turnovers This was on Josh. This was on Josh. Because Josh is really good in the postseason, Joe. He hadn't had a turnover in season playoff games. He picked the worst time to have the most turnovers he's had in a very long time. It's hard to win on the road with five turnovers. And four of them is at the hands of your quarterback. Now, guys fumbling and stuff like that,

54:59Shannon Sharpe:ain't really a whole lot you can do about that. But this was on Josh's watch. So it's tough. I agree. And, you know, Sean McDermott, I know Sean McDermott, Ocho and I was talking about, look, this grandstanding, he knew he couldn't challenge that. He knew that call, what it was. He knew the, you know, you got to survive the ground. But he knew they probably had, if they didn't flat out tell him they had probably alluded to, you're going to need to get to the Super Bowl in order to stay in this job.

55:34Joe Johnson:He probably knew that. Oh I knew Cause I talked about this And Ocho Ocho you laughed at me Cause I told you in October He's like you think Brother McDermott I said oh yeah absolutely Yeah yeah You did say he was out of there If they didn't win

55:47Shannon Sharpe:What I tell you about What I tell you about The Steelers And the Ravens The coaching situation Harbaugh Yeah

55:58Joe Johnson:Oh yeah Yeah New voice New voice You said Loud and clear Yeah Harbaugh been there for a minute 18 and he's been there 18 years and Tomlin have been there 19.

56:15Shannon Sharpe:Ocho. Yo. Sean Payton announced that the team has parted ways with offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi, wide receivers Kerry Colbert, and cornerbacks coach Addison Lynch. Lombardi spent 12 years over two different stints on Payton's staff with the Saints and has been the Broncos offensive coordinator since Payton was hired in 2023. However, Peyton is the offensive play caller. Sean, don't do this. Look, I love Sean. Sean Peyton is great. Why you fire that man? You made the call. You went for it on fourth down. Joe Lombardi. So what? Joe was supposed to say, Coach, you an effing idiot if you do this?

56:56Right. I don't get it. I can see if Joe Lombardi called the plays, but first of all, every play caller that's not the head coach, the head coach is listening in. nah let's run it in this situation he could have easily said that i got a question who fired him sean payton fired him sean payton has a lot of control a lot right damn i wonder

57:26Joe Johnson:that cause he getting a lot of heat for that boat he's getting a lot of heat for that call

57:34the same

57:35Joe Johnson:Kerry Colbert that played receiver I guess I don't know Kerry Colbert yeah he played during my era you remember Kerry Colbert I think he went to USC I could be wrong I think he went to USC Chad Kerry Colbert went to USC didn't he

57:57Shannon Sharpe:I just don't understand how Sean could fire this man and ain't nobody going to be sitting back there thinking like, Sean, what you doing? Bro, you call that play. That's on you. You knew the weather. There's no way – nobody can convince me that Sean Payton didn't know that weather was going to get vastly different in the second half than it was in the first. And ten points. Now, obviously you don't expect your quarterback to turn it over to a negative field position, but still.

58:30Shannon Sharpe:Sean Payton has consistently said he will not surrender play calling duties as Broncos OC Lombardi was in the coaches booth and among those on the headset during the game. But Payton was the voice in the quarterback's helmet. So how did coordinator lose his job when you call in the plays?

58:51Joe Johnson:It might be something else we don't know about. They might have had some disagreements. They might have had some. I told you you were effing idiot for calling going for it on fourth down. That's why he fired me because I was the voice of reason. Yeah. But you that might there might be some stuff internally that we don't know about on, you know, maybe a disagreement probably on exactly what you exactly what you just said. I mean, who knows? I mean, if you know the right people, you're probably find out, though. You're probably find out the real reason why he was fired.

59:21Shannon Sharpe:I don't think Sean Payton must have not thought that he was going to get this kind of criticism. Bro, that is a backup on his third team. And you have an opportunity to go up 10-0.

59:37Shannon Sharpe:Kick that ball. Sean has started to get high on his own supply. He had started to drink the Kool-Aid that he really thought that Jerry Stidham was like that. He did. I'm not so sure we want to pay Manning. I don't think Bill Belichick in that situation. which I think Bill Belichick could get. Because Bill understands situational football. He understands. He done got the weather report. This thing going to get bad in the second half. I got to do as much as I can. Ten points might be enough to win this game, and I'll be damned. Ten points was enough to win the game.

1:00:19Chad Johnson:I know it hurt, Uncle. I know. I hear it in your voice. You know what, Joe? And I told Ocho this. I said if we had lost with Bo, yeah. It would have been bad. You don't think y 'all had a chance? Yeah, we had a chance. Yeah, we had a chance. We kicked him. But he couldn't turn the ball over. When you playing with your backup, your backup can't turn the ball over. Yeah.

1:00:44Shannon Sharpe:Because he doesn't have the capability and the wherewithal to go get those points back. That's not Tom Brady. That's not Peyton Manning. That's not Mahomes. That's not one of those guys. that can have a turnover and still have that kind of, and have the ability to make plays. That's not, he's not a playmaker. Not. All right, we'll get y 'all here on this one. It's time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q and A.

1:01:17Dr. Frank M. Bellamy said, when you hit the ground, I thought you was going to shatter like glass. Just joking. Love nightcap outside. Me too. That's why I don't do no falling, Doc. That's why, hey, I stay with stuff where I don't have to fall. I don't have to run. So.

1:01:33Chad Johnson:Yeah, you cut up, though, that first game, that golf game. You cut up. I didn't mean to do that, Joe. You cut up. I didn't mean to do that. That ain't even like me. You didn't? That ain't like me. Nah, like I said, I see what I'm dealing with. It's okay. Nah, Ocho and I see what we dealing with. Man, you know, man, Joe real quiet, man. Joe to himself, Joe full of caca. Joe ain't full of himself. You know, listen, listen. That's because I'm hanging out with you two loud mouths. And y 'all talking all that ish. Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. You're going to get just what you're looking for.

1:02:07Chad Johnson:One thing. Unk threw me the balls talking about some losers go first. I said, oh, okay. That's what set me off, Ocho. That set me off right there. That's what it was?

1:02:16Joe Johnson:Okay. You say it. Okay. hey man you know what i just thought about what hey hey hey uh joe what's up what do you call a chinese person with a camera a chinese person with a camera yeah what's their name

1:02:53Shannon Sharpe:I hope y 'all enjoyed this because we about to get canceled when Ocho come up with this. So I hope y 'all enjoyed Nightcap wide lasting.

1:03:03Shannon Sharpe:Asian person with a camera.

1:03:14I don't know. You got an answer, Joe?

1:03:19I ain't got nothing. What you got, old Joe? You call him Phil Ming.

1:03:28Joe Johnson:You get it, Joe? Yeah. Agent, camera, Phil Ming. Phil Ming, yeah. Lord, have mercy. See what y 'all started, Chad? Kepardor with Junior. I was team Unk all the way last night. Yeah, Kep, you know, I had to do what I did. I did what I do. Do what I do. Who on my side? Ocho, they picked you to come in last from the jump.

1:03:52Chad Johnson:Oh, they did? They say they weren't surprised you came in last, Ocho. Okay. I see how it is. Yeah. I see how it is.

1:04:00Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, I question how you so great at footballing. So, uh, Uncultured underscore J. Yo, enjoyed the video last night. Watching y 'all compete. Great seeing y 'all have fun. Need more videos like it. Unc, easy now. You got the whiskey shot stiffness going on. Yeah, man. Bro, you got to realize. We're all across country trying to get there, get up early in the morning. Man, I need, hey, they need to start this in the afternoon. they gotta let me hey they gotta let me get some go to the uh uh get a hot shower go to the steam room i gotta loosen up even uh uh uh uh uh joe joe girls say hey man i i i don't never see him like this outside of the house it's great to see him oh really you ain't seen him like this

1:04:54Chad Johnson:hold on hold on Ocho y 'all do know I had surgery six months ago that's the first time I done a uh uh extracurriculum activity in six months okay oh she said she ain't never seen you behave like that outside of the house because I ain't I ain't be I ain't hadn't been running with guys like y 'all talking all that ish see I can't see I I told y 'all I played to the level of my competition then y 'all started talking trash it just came out of the head i couldn't control that little rock came out of me i couldn't i couldn't control it i couldn't control it all right uh appreciate that j avenue 77 what's good uncle ocho wish my grandma barbara johnson

1:05:37Shannon Sharpe:a happy b day from the carolinas ga maryland jersey and new york and family miss barbara Johnson. Happy birthday. Happy birthday, Ms. Barber. We got a lot of family members all over. Georgia, Maryland, Jersey, New York. Hopefully you got an opportunity to do something fun. I hope you took her out, took grandma out. Have a good time. Let her go out. Get some, she probably like fried catfish. Maybe some oxtails. You know, something like collard greens, cornbread. I sure could use me some good old cornbread. Blueberry cornbread with the iron skillet. Woo! We got to find some places like that, Ocho.

1:06:16Shannon Sharpe:Good old cornbread, iron skillet, some raccoon, some squirrel, Joe.

1:06:21Chad Johnson:Boy, that's some good soul food.

1:06:23Shannon Sharpe:Man, raccoon and squirrel. That's soul food.

1:06:25Joe Johnson:That's soul food. I mean, I've never known raccoon and squirrel to be under the soul food. I'm right. Yeah, it's under there. Okay. It's under there. I get depending on where you're from. Okay. Well, if you're from the South, if you're from any part of the South, from the Georgia to the Mississippis to the Carolinas, the Arkansas. Yeah. Alabama, absolutely. Right. Absolutely. All right, all right.

1:06:53Shannon Sharpe:The show underscore show. Uncle Ocho, the NFL Hall of Fame, has lost all credibility. Bill and Teal not being first ballots is ridiculous. Also, 85, top wide receiver for the decade. Put him in. Bro, I just –

1:07:08Joe Johnson:Nah.

1:07:08Shannon Sharpe:You know what? But, Ocho, I really, for the longest time, stopped speaking on it because whatever I say, people are going to say, pro football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharp said. So it's not like I don't care. I don't get a vote. But they were taking it like, well, Shannon Sharp said this, and Shannon Sharp, Hall of Famer. So I was like, you know what? Y 'all go with what y 'all think. It's tough. It's getting tough. Like I said, when Derek Thomas had to wait five years to get in, T.O. had to wait three years to get in. Now with Coach Belichick, it does take some of the luster off of it. It's still an unbelievable honor.

1:07:46Shannon Sharpe:And, you know, people are like, well, what do you think when you went in on the third ballot? I said, I don't care enough about no secret ballot, no absentee ballot. I'm in. I don't give a damn what I went in. Right. My family got a chance to see my homeboys, my friends, so I'm great. Don Juan 47. Can I get a shout out to the Scottish veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan? Bill B. Belongs in the hall. Love you. Absolutely. First of all, thank you for your support. Thank you for your protection and your services that you gave to this country. You make what we do seem so inconsequential because of what you do and what you did.

1:08:26Shannon Sharpe:So I want to thank you personally, and I want to thank all the many women that are serving this country around the world. So thank you for your service, and I don't think we thank you guys enough for the work that you guys do. So from Nightcap, Ocho, and Joe, thank you to all the servicemen and women around the country. Thank you for your service. Yes, absolutely belongs in the Hall of Fame. And don't give me this, oh, he going to get in. That's beside the point. That's beside the point. He should have been a first ballot. Aaron Owens. I'm shocked. Seattle never really put together a Wildcat package with Jalen Miro all this season.

1:09:08Bro, they went 14-3, and you trying to find out a way to get Jalen Miro on the field? Man, let me go on through this, man. You see what I'm talking about, don't you? You see it ain't never enough. They in the Super Bowl. Sam Darnold is a Pro Bowl player. And this man talking about, well, I'm surprised they didn't find a Wildcat. I can see if they missed the playoffs.

1:09:35Shannon Sharpe:Ocho barely survived. I saw Joe's trash talk at the lawn club. There is zero chance. He's hanging with Unc on the football field. Nah, Joe sneaky. Joe pretend like, you know, hey, man, you know, I've just had a good time and all the time just trying to gut you silently. But is day coming? Oh, yeah.

1:09:54Joe Johnson:I don't even know what John's talking about. Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it.

1:09:58Shannon Sharpe:You're going to find out what we're talking about. Arizona Ron Ford, what's up, my boys? Can y 'all wish my grandma, Jessie Mae, a happy birthday? She turned 72 today. Much love. Absolutely. Ms. Jessie Mae, happy birthday. Happy 72nd birthday. 72 trips around the sun. Thank you. Hopefully you enjoyed your day. Oh, yeah. El Pray 98 A. Ocho, I'm glad I'm bringing Mississippi Mass Choir. that's him paying you back after cutting them over Maxwell and Michelle and Deggie Ocello.

1:10:35Shannon Sharpe:Man, Maxwell, both of them gonna sing at my wedding. Hey, aren't we still getting married next year? Yep.

1:10:44Joe Johnson:Yep, okay, man. I thought it was 26. I might move it. It might be. Might be. Oh, it's getting, it's... I mean, it was supposed to be 26. He moved it back. so i say okay man i'll wait another year hey i'm gonna get some laporte and she can't be just right i'll be at the courthouse y 'all ain't nobody oh did he we supposed to have a double wedding it'll be at the coat house you know right now ocho you know i can't afford no you know what uh uh i can't afford no rehearsal dinner no big ass dress you good you good you good that's why if We do the dual wedding. We get everything half off.

1:11:25Shannon Sharpe:And I got a promise ring. I promise you I'm going to get you a ring, baby. That's all I got for you. That's it. That's it. That's it.

1:11:37Shannon Sharpe:Rebel Nightwing. Bill should be running the NFL.

1:11:46Shannon Sharpe:I think a lot of people feel the same way. Obviously, everybody doesn't feel the same way. because if everybody felt the same way we felt, guess what, Ocho or Joe? He'd be in. So clearly there are some people that don't feel as strongly about it as we do. Right. And at this point in time, I don't really know what we can do. And even if you got, okay, we find out somebody violated X, Y, and Z, what? He's still not getting in. Right. So, and it kind of defeats the purpose. So I hate it for Coach Belichick. you might not have liked the way he conducted some of his things but there ain't no denying the man is the first battle hall of fame he's the greatest coach in history and for them to pull this kind of funny stuff is just disappointing Robbie Lowe thank you what is the voting for you're not you may you might not ever see that run again oh I got you to say you might not ever see that type of run again.

1:12:47Shannon Sharpe:He's talking about with Coach Belichick. And you won't. Right. You might not. You won't see that type of run again. 20 years with that kind of dominance? They went to, think about it, in 20 years, they went to nine Super Bowls. Mmm. That's damn near Super Bowl every other year. You're never going to see that again. No. And to not reward that man for his hard work. And you know he put time in. Like I said, two things can be true. but that man deserved to be here Titans Forever 2 so I have a question if you could go back in time to do a duet with a famous music artist who would it be

1:13:31Joe Johnson:man me and Sinatra what we talking about me and Sinatra at the Sands in Vegas 1964

1:13:40Chad Johnson:I want to see MJ me and MJ Michael Jackson

1:13:44Joe Johnson:Oh, okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.

1:13:47Chad Johnson:Yeah.

1:13:52Who you got?

1:13:59Look, I'm a huge MJ fan and I love Prince. But if I could do it, if I could like really had like vocals like that. Y 'all know who I'm doing it. Yeah. Michelle and Michelle and Michelle.

1:14:12Joe Johnson:your cello all the people from the past man how you gonna get my girl i know you i i don't care michelle and deggy okay i got you oh that song that song asked me man i can't get that out of my head i know but there's so many other grace before she came along that paved the way for her to be able to do what she's doing now but i think the thing is ultra you know what it is about her if you really listen to her it's the passion in which she sings with Ella Fitzgerald sang with passion Billie Holiday Billie Holiday sang with passion Lena Horne sang with passion Ethel Waters sang with passion okay there we go there we go that's a good one

1:15:01Shannon Sharpe:I take Prince

1:15:06Shannon Sharpe:Prince was a bad boy Yeah, he was.

1:15:13Shannon Sharpe:Sheldon Pope, your interview with Kevin Gates, hashtag fire. Appreciate it, man. Thank you guys for watching it, boy. Ooh, love it.

1:15:21Chad Johnson:Man, I seen, hey. Oh my God. Oh my God. What happened, what happened, Joe? Man, just Kevin Gates talking about his childhood. Talking about everything. Him in August. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I seen, I seen.

1:15:38Shannon Sharpe:Whoo, Lord. Handbags and heels. ISO, congrats on your Hall of Fame nomination. Well deserved.

1:15:45Chad Johnson:Appreciate it.

1:15:45Shannon Sharpe:Yes, absolutely. Thank you, thank you. We're going to have a party, Joe, with your money.

1:15:50Chad Johnson:Woo! Eric Jordan Scott. Hey, listen, listen. Let's see, look. Now you and Ocho will get to party with me. It ain't about winning and losing no more. You know what I mean? See what I'm saying? Yo, Ocho. You see what I'm talking about, Ocho? You see him now. Hey,

1:16:03Joe Johnson:he going to keep taking little jabs, huh? Okay. Okay.

1:16:07Chad Johnson:You can't take it like that. I'm just saying, if I get in, boy, we're going to cut up. You hear me? You see what I'm saying? Huh? Ocho, you see, right? You see how he behaving? He misbehaving like them grabbed him over there. Boy, you misbehaving now.

1:16:28Joe Johnson:I hear him loud and clear.

1:16:30Shannon Sharpe:Eric Jordan Scott, hey, y 'all boys don't shoot no dice with money. I'd hate to see little Ocho get jacked up. uh-uh no no no no no no money out of sight cause a fight you gotta have the money in hand money gotta be on the wood oh hey money hold on in the hand money gonna be on the floor don't worry about

1:16:47Joe Johnson:it the money gonna be on the floor we can shoot on the pool table however you want to do it

1:16:51Shannon Sharpe:game is going home with me yeah let's get on the pool table so we ain't gotta get down yeah i can't get down i can't keep getting the bidding over mate you gonna have you gonna have to you better get on one knee bring a knee pad with you oh let's give him a pool table bring no no no no no i need

1:17:05Joe Johnson:I need a real dice game. I need to be on the floor.

1:17:09Chad Johnson:We're going to put the little thing over the pool table, a little cover over the pool table so the dice can roll good. Nah, see that? Y 'all don't know how to shoot no dice. I got a question. Y 'all like the dice with the sharp... Yeah, you got a little roll-ass dice and shaved edges. As a matter of fact, I'm going to go to the casino and get some casino dice. Yeah, and don't try to get no one-way dice either. One-way? Yeah. Uncle won't put nothing like that on us. Yeah, yes he would. Yes he would.

1:17:39Joe Johnson:Yes he would. Yes he would. I don't need to do no crooks.

1:17:44Chad Johnson:Yeah, all right.

1:17:45Joe Johnson:Well, these are all naturals. I'm rolling too. It sound good. You got the sound effects down pat. All right. Big Brother Almighty.

1:17:53Shannon Sharpe:Hey guys, please wish my wife Sarah A a happy birthday. Sarah, happy birthday. Big Brother, what you do today, man? You take wifey out to eat, get a nice bite to eat. Y 'all go to a movie. I mean, what'd you guys do? I know you did something because you took time out to get on here with Nightcap and say wish Sarah a happy birthday. So I know you did something special. You wouldn't do it like that. TS Carbway Detail Service. Iso, Unk, Ocho. What player talked the craziest in the league? John Randall.

1:18:28Chad Johnson:Damn Gary Payton, man. Yay, GP. Hey, Uncle Ocho, I seen GP. I heard GP. I'm playing in the same game. Cuss out the referees. I'm talking about they don't get a man no tech or nothing. I'm talking about just Kyle Lamar. I'm like, dang. Yeah.

1:18:50Shannon Sharpe:Your majesty on God, Yon has got them a chip. That's the difference. No, the difference is he's leaving. He got a chip, so he should stay. you see how y 'all try to you see when you make see with somebody you like oh Joe you see it Joe you see the concession that people see that they move they move to go that's the difference no no no no no no no no no and look at what he said LeBron never said that he was gonna be a Cleveland forever KD never said he's gonna be at OKC forever that he didn't want to go join up with other great players Yonis said that hold him to his word I got a problem with but I just don't like the way y 'all try to move because y 'all try to dump on LeBron and KD every chance you get Jonathan Black it wasn't liquor that killed old Bill I detest it was a green hornet that flew up his nose and tickled old Bill to death is that right it wasn't no liquor that killed old Bill it didn't even take his breath a little green hornet with a Bill nose and tickled old Bill to death got that from Fred G.

1:19:56Shannon Sharpe:Sanford Trey Brookshaw love y 'all man and send the love for Mississippi. Appreciate that, Trey. We're gonna have to get down to Mississippi. I'm trying to figure out what we can do. We can go mudding. Maybe we can go noodling. You ever been noodling, Joe? Noodling? In Mississippi? Nah, I think you got to go home or Texas like that. I think that's where they be noodling at. What is that? That be you go catch a catfish with your bare hands, you stick your hand in the hole and pull the catfish out? Man, you and Ocho ain't doing that. No, Ocho Austin, Iso doing that.

1:20:31Chad Johnson:I think I could do it. I don't know. I don't think I could do it.

1:20:37Joe Johnson:Joe, I live in the water, boy. You can swim like a fish? Can y 'all swim? Yes, I can swim.

1:20:46Chad Johnson:Okay.

1:20:47Joe Johnson:Hey, Joe, I used to catch catfish in the river right there on the banks in Cincinnati. A big catfish, boy. What type of catfish you catch? What catfish? Channel? Speckle? Buttle? i don't i don't i don't know the scientific name exactly what kind of catfish i just know that with catfish they have some big-ass whiskers what you were fishing with huh my hand joe and you know the water hey joe the water murky too joe yeah you can you catch black cats specker bottom don't worry about it in ohio general service bella cheated and shady are

1:21:24Shannon Sharpe:finally getting what they deserve for cheating. To think he doesn't deserve this is hilarious. Ask the players who lost Super Bowls if he deserves this. Well, the question is, who benefited from him cheating? If you feel that strongly about him, do you feel that strongly about anybody else that has the potential of getting in on that team? Okay. Be careful. Six foot eight Aquarius is joining since doing these commercials together. Justin Jefferson and Josh Allen need to play together. I don't think J.J. will be opposed to that. He might misplay it in that dome 10 games a year because, you know, they got – when they play him, their dome, their dome, and then Detroit's dome.

1:22:10So I'm sure he's going to misplay it eight, nine to 10 games a year in the dome, but to play with Josh Allen?

1:22:16Chad Johnson:Minnesota ain't giving – shit, Minnesota ain't giving that young boy up. No.

1:22:20Shannon Sharpe:Nah. Joe X Black 92, AJ Brown to Buffalo next year. What y 'all think?

1:22:27Joe Johnson:I can see that. I say that a minute ago. Yeah.

1:22:33Shannon Sharpe:Mike Mike, what's up, Uncle Joe Iso? When Giannis gets traded, what will he say? I did not expect to be traded. Wanted to be a Bucks forever. This caught me completely by surprise, but happy to be a Knick. Yeah. That's exactly what he's going to say. Because remember Iso you and I talked about. He said, whatever his agent works out, that's on them. That ain't got nothing to do with me. Like the agent doesn't work at the behest of the player.

1:23:00Chad Johnson:Right. Always. You see, he was already trying to distance himself from that. That ain't got nothing to do with me. Caught me by surprise. Nah, your agent is an extension of you.

1:23:14Shannon Sharpe:Joe and B. High's F. Uncle Joe Joe. I've dealt with seizures for a while. Had another last night. just wanted to say I appreciate the wisdom and energy you gave us. It helps more than you know. Jordan, I'm sorry that you're going through that, man. I am so sorry, but I'm glad you're doing well. Anytime that Ocho and Joe and I can bring some fun into your life and you don't have to deal with, I guess, it takes your mind off the seriousness of these issues, the seizures that you're going through, that brings us joy as well. That brings us joy as well. So, Jordan, thanks for watching us. I really, really appreciate that and wish you all the best.

1:23:55Shannon Sharpe:That concludes this episode of NICAL. Coach Belichick does not get in on the first ballot. Eli Manning doesn't get in on the second ballot. And Giannis wants to be traded. And many believe it's going to happen before the February 5th trade deadline. If it doesn't, it's definitely going to happen this summer. Thank you guys for watching another episode of Nightcap.
