In short

NBA playoffs and roster/contract talk. Main focus is the Hawks vs Knicks discussion centered on Jonathan Kuminga’s role (and why he’s not getting the minutes he wants), plus Cleveland’s Game 1 win over Toronto, and Giannis shutting down trade rumors while hinting at Miami preferences. Later segments shift to NFL: the Giants trading for Dexter Lawrence and what it means for their defense.

Guests/backgrounds

No guest names are provided in the transcript; it’s a multi-speaker show with recurring hosts “Zach,” “Joe,” and “Ocho/Uncle Joe,” plus “Unk” as another speaker.

Key claims

  • Kuminga needs a defined role and defensive-first, transition-heavy usage; he shouldn’t be a pick-and-roll ball handler in half court.
  • Hawks’ lineup (Jalen Johnson, Walker, Daniels, etc.) is described as similar to Kuminga, so he must “stand out” to earn minutes.
  • Cleveland should be hard for Toronto to beat; Toronto’s offense/shot-making (54% overall, 50% threes) is the main threat.
  • Giannis is portrayed as avoiding blowback while preferring Miami over L.A., and Milwaukee’s roster moves were framed as built for him.

Notable examples

  • Cleveland 126-113 over Toronto: Donovan Mitchell 32, Max Strus 24 (playoff career high after missing 67 games with a broken foot), Harden 22 points/10 assists.
  • Kuminga stat line cited: 27 minutes, 3-of-7 shooting, 0-of-2 threes, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 0 turnovers.
  • NFL: Giants trade for Dexter Lawrence; debate over his down year/elbow injury and contract value.

3:14Chad Johnson:Short roll, a roll to the basket, or pop. I don't necessarily want him handling the rock like that. Okay, Ocho, I'm just B-100 with you. But I do like when he catch it inside a three and he can make a move, one dribble, two dribbles, maybe even no dribble, and just pull up, shoot a midi, or get our way to the basket. I just really don't like him ball handling. I'm just going to be honest with you. It's not like – and I want him to ball handle, but I'm just not going to give him a beeline to the basket. See, I feel like if I don't give him a beeline to the basket where he can use his athleticism, I win.

3:50Chad Johnson:I'll let him shoot hey you want to put the ball and try to beat Kyrie and handle it and he'll get a mini like KD okay so be it I'll live with that but what I'm not going to do is allow you to get a beeline to the basket I'm not giving you the Soul Train line to the basket and as long as I don't give you the Soul Train line to the basket or I don't give you a wide open three I'm cool I live whatever else you do Hey, Uncle Joe, you understand what I'm saying? What's that? I'm just saying about Kamiga and them not understanding what role to put him in. But when you make the noise you did in Golden State and you're asking Steve Curry to put me in there, to find something for me to do, and they're refusing to do anything outside of running their offense through Steph Curry, if you make a noise like you're supposed to be him once you get to Atlanta, it don't matter what role they put you in, you're supposed to show why you should have been the guy you were when you were making a fuss at goddamn Golden State.

4:50Chad Johnson:Yeah. So you shouldn't be having these problems in Atlanta because there ain't no Steph Curry there. I mean, you have quality players. You have good players. But we're supposed to assert yourself right away. This is why I was making a fuss at Golden State because I can do this. Well, I think he showed us flashes, you know, in a lot of games playing for the Hawks. You know, he's put up some big numbers on the show. and we know what he's capable of. My thing is he just seems a little lost at times. And, yeah, maybe they haven't defined a role for him, but I think it's ways that he have to utilize himself, meaning defensively first and foremost, because I just feel like he can be a hell of a defender, and that'll fuel his offense.

5:33Chad Johnson:When you get him in transition, bro, he hard to stop. He got a lot in his team. That's why I want to see him. I want to see him in transition. That's when I want to see him pushing the rock. But just in a half-court set, I don't want him to be the ball handler in the pick and roll. Right. Joe, I don't like that, man. He's like a Dante Hall. Dante Hall, Eric Metcalf, what you try not to do, let him be in space. I don't want him to be in space. I won't buy him around me. I want him to have to change directions. I don't want him to be too athletic. He's going to go over me. because if you look at their lineup, Jalen Johnson, Walker, Dice, and Daniels, they're damn near the same player as Kamingo.

6:15Chad Johnson:Yeah. So they're damn near the same player. A Kongu, it seems like he's undecided. I mean, he don't look like he's like, what is a Kongu, like 6 '9", Joe? Yeah, about 6 '9", 16, yeah. So now we got four guys that's basically the same. He might be marginally a little more athletic than Johnson and Daniels and Walk, but they're the same guy cj six seven six six six seven yeah so when i when i look at it like what does he do that warrants the type of minutes and the type of attention that he thinks he deserves because sometimes you be on a team that's good and you get guys thinking that they're good just because they're on a team that's good yeah nah bro it's not you it's not i i hate to be the fair of bad news, but...

7:03Chad Johnson:Hey, see Joe? Hey, you know that guy? You're not that guy. You're not him, buddy. That's why I think it has something to do with confidence as well, too. The way Unk just broke it down and the way Unk explained it. Hell, we got three players that are just like you. And then when you do get your opportunities, you're hesitating. You're overthinking. The floor of the offense doesn't look right. You don't look like the same person that was complaining. why you should be given more roles and more opportunities than Golden State. I'm just saying, I'm looking at it from the mindset of knowing I got Steph Curry on my team.

7:37Ain't no way in hell I'm saying anything when it comes to the greatest root of all time, and I'm on that team.

7:44Chad Johnson:Steph Curry ain't taking no backseat unless UKD. Yeah, you're right. So if you think you're going to come in and get shots over Steph Curry, that ain't happening. But also, Ocho, you got to be careful. He see the money that these guys are getting, and he said, the only way I can get that money like that, I'm going to need major minutes to show you what I can do. Well, it's hard to get. Joe, you get paid 20, 23 minutes a night. You ain't going to be putting up no damn 22, 24 points a night. Because that's not what he is. You got to be microwave putting up them type of numbers. Yes. And you got to be what, Joe?

8:18Chad Johnson:Microwave. Yeah. You got to be microwave putting up them type of numbers. He ain't that type of player, but he played 27 minutes tonight. I feel like his opportunities have come, and they will start to come more often. I just want to see him utilize himself more, meaning, you know, don't just depend on offense and let your defense fuel your offense because that's going to make us a much better team. When he's out there with Jalen Johnson and Alexander and McCollum and Daniels, I like that lineup, bro. I like they fast. They all uber-athletic. I mean, with him and Jalen Johnson, I feel like they create so many mismatches for the Knicks.

8:54Chad Johnson:All you got to do is you just got to fight Towns, you know, a few times. Okay, Ojo, just keep it 100. Fight him a few times. He ain't going to try to bully you like that. Yeah, he going to have a few possessions to where he going to try to go into that dog mentality. But for the most part, you know he going to veer back out there to the three. We want to keep running. We want to keep his ass running up and down that flow. Yeah. Yeah, and like he said, I mean, he can defend. I mean, he's athletic. I feel he can do it. I mean, look, if Cat says, you know what, mouse in the house, mouse in the house, beep, beep, let me get on this block.

9:31Chad Johnson:Hey, come on. Go down to the block and punish whoever because once they take a Kongu out, who you got that can deal with Cat? Cat legit said, but don't. The thing is, the thing is, we probably ain't really got nobody who can really deal with him. But he ain't going to, if we just be in 100, he ain't got but, like, two possessions like that for real to where he's going to really try and deep bow. He ain't in that type of shape. You got to be in some shape to do that type of thing. Be down there on that block. Banging and grinding like I'm talking about. Because you got the muscle through a guy.

10:03Chad Johnson:Yeah. That bumping and grinding taking out you. Hey, that's why you always see him go back out there to that three. To that three. I was just going to say, hey, Joe, even though the Hawks don't have nobody to deal with him, even if he want to insert himself we knowing what we've seen from Cat he never wouldn't be down there on the block any goddamn way look let's keep him out there on the perimeter don't start talking about him going to the block now here let the ass out there

10:32Chad Johnson:I think the thing is in order for him to for him to really be what he thinks he can be he's going to have to go somewhere where he's in the starting lineup and they give him major minutes, Kaminga. He's got to go somewhere where, you know, I'm trying to think where he can go, Joe. If they trade Giannis, if they trade, I'm trying to think where he can go and get major minutes. Because it's hard for him to be what he wants to be. It's hard for him to be that. I'm saying, would he think he's number one option? He think he's at least number two? You heard him talk. Well, not him or the reports are that he believes that, you know, hey, he tired of sitting picks.

11:22Chad Johnson:He wants somebody to sit picks for him. I'm just saying, that's what the reports say. So I think is that he probably needs to be somewhere where he's first, second, or at worst, third. He's like sixth option. Bro, listen, this is a great spot for him right here in Atlanta, Ocho. Because, listen, let me tell you something. I don't want, you know, I know the Knicks are a good team, and I'm not overlooking them. Obviously, I picked the Hawks in six. But when you play against teams like Boston, and they got Tatum and Brown, man, you need guys who can match up with them type of guys. Yes. You know what I mean?

12:01Chad Johnson:I ain't trying to look ahead, but I'm just keeping it 100. And if we just talk about over the next five, seven, ten years, like Atlanta got a great team. Yeah, we need to add some size to this team. Hopefully they can bring C.J. back. But, man, they're in a good spot right now. I mean, this game won. You know what I mean? Like, we didn't play bad. We had some great spots. Outside of that first quarter, Brunson got it going. Man, I ain't worried. I'm going to just keep it 100 with y 'all. But, Joe, I think the thing is, is that sometimes, I mean, with the money that guys are making now, some guys ain't thinking about no damn team success.

12:41Chad Johnson:I'm thinking about my success. because I'm trying to get at$100 million,$150 million,$200 million,$250 million,$300 million. That's really what I'm trying to get at, Joe, because everybody ain't going to win. Everybody ain't going to win. I know that. Everybody ain't going to win. But I tell you what, I can be the one to get paid. I might not win championships, but I can win in the bank. Hey, listen, listen. It ain't nothing for these guys to get a$100 million contract now. You ain't got to be putting up, you ain't got to be putting up those stupid numbers. You got to put up those stupid numbers.

13:16Chad Johnson:They're getting 300, 250. But it ain't nothing for a guy like Kaminga to get a 120, 150 million dollar contract. That's not what he want, Joe. I give you a prime example. I give you a prime example, Joe Anocho. Did anybody think Nikhil Alexander Walker could be what he would be? You know, not in Minnesota. But he goes to Atlanta. They define him a role and look at him. increase the scoring average by 11 he go from 9 to 20 so if that's what you if you want comingo you would have to define a role and give him an opportunity i think i think nakil alexander was kind of circumstantial when you think when you think back to trey hurt his mcl and nakil alexander took advantage of an opportunity that was presented to him meaning he flourished in that in that position you know so well to where you know yeah they they did end up trading trade behind that you know what i mean like we needed scoring we needed defense we needed all that and i felt like he brought way more value to the team than they probably even imagined you know what i mean with trade being out him still playing at that high level and uh kind of you know keeping us afloat i feel like that's ultimately what led them trade in trade.

14:32Chad Johnson:You know, he's overplayed that$70 million. They brought him here for$70 million. And he's playing, he's over. He's overachieving. Oh, yeah, yeah. He's definitely playing more. He's playing like a$20,$25 million. And plus you got Jalen Johnson. Yeah, I know. I know. But and when you listen to his interviews and you listen to the young man talk, speaking of Alexander, man, he just seems like he knows what he wants. You know, at the game. The hard work that he puts in. So, man, I'm happy for this team, bro. We just got to keep fighting. Like I said, the series is never over. Or it hasn't even got started until somebody wins on the other team's court.

15:12Chad Johnson:Yeah, okay. Yeah. Hey, Joe, I love your confidence, Joe. I love that. Hey, I'm keeping a bean with you, Ocho. I got you, baby. I got you. I'm a little louse we had today, bro. Uh-huh. I feel you. Can I get that? Can I get that? Joe, you said something interesting. They said Trey got hurt and then they inserted Walker. But he had a role. So unless somebody get hurt and Kaminga, Kaminga said, well, even people was going down like flies. They still wasn't willing to give me an opportunity. So now I still, so I see these guys. I see now y 'all bring pods in. Y 'all give them an opportunity. Y 'all give Moses Moody an opportunity.

15:48Chad Johnson:Y 'all give Santos an opportunity. Y 'all give everybody a damn opportunity to show what they can do except me. Hold on. Go ahead, Ocho. When we play football, right? Yeah. those opportunities that are given to you on Sunday what days does it start on to get those opportunities? Well you earned those Wednesday through Friday. So Joe what is it that he's not doing in practice that they don't see where they're giving him opportunities like everybody else? Well Ocho they got a team that's been playing great since the new year bro we've probably been one of the top two three hottest teams in the NBA so when we brought him in we were already on fire you know what I mean?

16:24Chad Johnson:So now we had to work him into this system and, you know, obviously it's a pecking order, bro. These dudes have fought an uphill climb throughout the whole season and he just got to find a way to fit in and stand out at the same time because we're going to need him to play, you know, big minutes, man, in this playoff series. See, I'm glad you said that, Joe. I'm glad he said that. Hey, Unk, if your team is already on fire, right, if the Hawks have already been playing well since the new year and you bring somebody in that was fussing about their role somewhere else, once you come in, you better be the goddamn kerosene.

17:00Chad Johnson:Ocho, he's trying to figure it out. You got to be the kerosene. You got to make that flame much bigger than what it already is if you're supposed to be him. You know what, Ocho? But here's the problem that you have. People think gas is what, no, it's the fumes. Any liquid will put out, but it's the fumes that's going to go combust. So he can't get an opportunity to show you what it can do because he's one of them guys, and it's still the same way. He make a few mistakes, a few mistakes and go to the state. What did they do, Joe? Snatch his ass out of the game. You ain't going to be able to make so many mistakes, Joe, before they're like, damn.

17:41Chad Johnson:And a lot of times, sometimes they have a preconceived notion of what you can and can't do. And sometimes that follows you.

17:53Chad Johnson:We've all been there. We've seen it with men and women. Somebody has a preconceived notion of who and what you are. And no matter what, I've changed. Nah, you ain't changed. You the same line, sneaking, backsliding. You know what you always been. The thing is, though, we got two, three guys in the starting lineup that's having career years. You know what I mean? Yeah. It's hard to put him in there right now. You feel what I'm saying? Right. Bro, you got to find a way to stand out in the opportunities that you get. It ain't like you playing chump change minutes. Okay, Ocho, you played 27 minutes tonight.

18:30Chad Johnson:Yeah, hey. Yes. Hey, Joe. Three of seven, 0 or 2 from three, 2 or 3 from the three-point line. He was four rebounds, one assist, no turnovers, no speed. Hey, Joe, you don't need no roll, Joe. Imagine what you would do if you were the Hawks right now in your prime with 27 minutes, Joe. What would that stat line going to look like, Joe? They call me ISO for a reason. I don't mean to be, you know, pepping you up right now, but I'm just saying what it is. Me coming off the bench? Yeah, I mean, yeah, with 27 minutes. What you putting up, Joe? Joe, that's disrespectful to compare that man to you. I'm not trying to compare him.

19:01I'm just saying if he got the opportunities that Kameena getting, boy, what that stat line will look like. Joe, talk to him real quick. He did it.

19:08Chad Johnson:That's how he got his ass up out of Phoenix. They gave the minutes and Joe bowled his ass out. And it's like, hey, Joe said, no, don't y 'all give me no word. See what I mean? Ta-da. Hey, you just answered it for me. Hey, listen, let me tell you something. When you're playing with some good players, obviously in Phoenix I was playing with some great players. I played with the MVP, Steve Nash. Yeah. I played with Sean Marion, who was a two, three-time all-star. Amari Stoudemire, who was dynamic. Quinn Richardson, you know, who was a hell of a player. He led the league in three-point makes that year.

19:44Chad Johnson:We all played together. We only played together one year, Uncle Ocho. and I had to find a way to fit in and stand out at the same time. And there's ways you can do it, bro. And I feel like Kaminga, he's going to find out. I ain't saying he played bad now. I don't think he played bad. I just think we need a little more from him. You know what I mean? Yeah. I definitely agree. Hey, Joe. The Cleveland Cavaliers take down the Toronto Raptors, 126-113. Game one of the East's first round. Donovan Mitchell, 32 points. Max Struess had 24 points off the bench. It was a playoff career high for Struess who missed the first 67 games of the season with a broken foot that occurred into an offseason training.

20:29Chad Johnson:James Harden had 22 points and 10 assists. So you look at Jared Allen gave you 10 and 7. Evan Mobley gave you 17 and 7. James Harden gave you 22, 10 and 2. Donovan Mitchell had 32 points 4-7 from the three he and James Harden was both 4-7 three rebounds, four assists but they got Max Struess off the bench gave him 8-10 from the floor and 4-6 from the three point line it's just gonna be Copenhagen's spit free packs American grown tobacco into pouches made from when your elbows deep in an engine block they're masked up, torching deep cuts into stubborn pipes Her helmet's on, riding deep into backcountry.

25:03Chad Johnson:It's going to be really hard. It's going to be really hard for Toronto to beat Cleveland. It's going to be hard for Toronto to beat Cleveland four times, but it's possible. It's possible. I don't know if you count on Max Struess for 24 points, you know, being as hot as he was, you know, in this game. And Toronto got some guys who I feel like can be game changers. They didn't, Quigley, they started point guard. He didn't play tonight.

25:32Chad Johnson:Are they going to play in the defense? You let them shoot 54 % from the floor and 50 % from the three. So who you beating, letting somebody shoot 50 % from both the floor and the three? We're going to look at the tape. We're going to make some adjustments. Okay, come game two. Okay, boom, look. We can't get these guys these easy looks. We need y 'all to stick to Donovan a little more. We got to be a little bit more aggressiveness. We got to bring a little bit more aggressiveness defensively. and offensively, we got to attack. They got too many guys who can attack and make plays. I like Toronto.

26:00Chad Johnson:I like Toronto in this series. Do I think they're going to win? Nah, I ain't saying that. But I think they're going to give Cleveland a good run for their money. Yeah. I mean, you look at Brandon Ingram, 17 points on five of nine. He needs more shots than that. And he was saying, look, the coach thought I'd be good in the pick. Nah, hell nah. Bro, you an all-star. I need you to get more than them nine shots up. Hell, nobody got up more than 14 shots. That's Scott Martin. Yeah, yeah. But they did shoot 35 free throws. I mean, Ingram was 7 for 10 from the free throw line. Yeah, but nine shots. Yeah, no, no, no.

26:34Chad Johnson:In 36 minutes? Yeah, yeah. He supposed to be getting up at least double that. He supposed to be getting up at least. Yeah. I agree. Yeah. He should be getting up at least 18 shots. You know, in 36 minutes. That's a lot of minutes. Hell yeah. Go ahead. I got to go to the bathroom. Hey, hey, hey, Joe. What's happening? Hey, I ain't see this game.

26:58Hey, Joe. Hey, I was ready for all the other ones. I watched all the other games. Joe, I ain't see this one. I ain't even going to lie to you, Joe.

27:04Chad Johnson:Hey, Ocho, I stopped watching it after a while because, you know, Cleveland had got up so big, I stopped watching it. Right. You just stopped? Yeah, yeah. You know, Cleveland with James Harden and Donovan Mitchell, bro, both of them got a lot to prove playing in the postseason because they get a knock. because people say that, you know, they hadn't had a lot of postseason success. Yes, sir. You know, obviously saying that James Harden has never won a title playing the way he's played. I don't think Donovan, he's never been past the second round. Yeah. So I feel like both of those guys got a lot to prove.

27:40Chad Johnson:And talent-wise, they're just better than what Toronto has to offer. Right. They're top two guys, if you ask me. So I got Cleveland winning. They bigs play the way they played tonight. Evan Mobley and Jared Allen, those guys play B. Yeah, B-efficient, B-physical. You know what I mean? They always got a chance. I just, that damn Struess off the bench, he came in, that thing cooking. Yeah. Hey, look, he could go for 24, he might go for two next game. That's the damn problem. You know what I mean? So it's like if they don't get no great spark off their bench, this is where, you know, they struggle at because James can play well, Donovan can play well, but if these other guys don't chip in, it's going to be hard for them to win.

28:30Chad Johnson:It's going to be hell, yeah. Matt, that put too much pressure on them two to have to do too much. Well, hey, hey, that's why you pay the big bucks, baby. You know? Hey, hey. Yeah, I agree with you, Joe. I think still Toronto has a chance because I've seen Donovan Mitchell get up 3-1. I've seen James Harden get up 3-1 and give it away. I've seen it. My own two outs. And he was with, who was it? When Donovan was with Utah? I watched Donovan go up 2-0 on the Clippers and lose four straight. I watched him get up 3-1 on the Nuggets and lose three straight. I watched James Harden get up on the Hawks and lose.

29:08Chad Johnson:Up on the Warriors. Yeah, so I've seen it. So I'm not, you know, I understand. And as they say, look, all you did was protect home court. Somebody tried to break in your house and you, hey, you sent them away. But don't think they're not coming back. Because they know, hey, just time they're going to come with better equipment. That's all I'm saying. I'm not saying they won't get it done, but I know the history of these two guys that we're talking about, Donald Mitchell and James Harden. And I've seen it. You think that come with pressure, as good as they are, as much as they've done? Do you think it's pressure behind them having to win the playoff?

29:47Because that's the one thing that people always knock them for? Yeah, it's always pressure.

29:51Chad Johnson:Yeah. Now, whether they say it or not, it's pressure, Ocho. Yeah. But, hey, that's a privilege, though, bro. You know, to be able to play under pressure like that or have that type of pressure put on you, that's a privilege, bro. Yeah. Yeah, and James Harden's the top 75 player. You have expectations. Be nice. If you don't have expectations, that's a problem. A big problem. And nothing causes more disappointment than expectations. It's when guys are like, man, we've seen it. When you don't expect the guy to do something, and he has great, and then all of a sudden you have expectations. We see guys come out of nowhere, and they go to the playoffs, team go to the playoffs.

30:38Chad Johnson:Now there's an expectation to follow that up again next year. And then what happened? They revert back to what we thought they were going to be the previous year because of the expectations. Guys have great seasons. Now you go to the Pro Bowl or become an All-Pro. Now we have expectations. That's the norm now, Ocho. That ain't no A. Well, you know. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Once you do it, that is an expectation. And so we have an expectation for Donovan. He's been an all-star. James Harden been an all-star, an all-NBA selection player. He's a top 75 player. The expectation is, look, you got to do what you do.

31:18Chad Johnson:And we've seen them play really, really well. And then all of a sudden we're like, what's really going on, guys? And they have a complete team, bro. They got everything you can want in the team from defenders to rebounders, scores, playmakers, shooters. now they just got to find a way to put it together and see if they can come out of the East. I don't think they can come out of the East. They ain't got a chance, yo. They get Boston. I don't know if they can beat Boston. They ain't beating Boston. No, I am South. I'm saying they can't. Hell, and they get Detroit. They're still one of the few teams, yo, that still play conventional.

31:59Chad Johnson:A four and a five. Like old school, huh? Yeah. Old school. Because Mobley, he can make a three, but he ain't really no three-point shooter for real. No. No. No. Oh, shit. They got, look, I mean, they can protect the paint. You look at Jared Allen can block shots. You got Evan Mobley was a defensive player. I mean, they got guys that's really good. They got shooters that can come in and calm things down on the bench. They got Sam Merrill that can make threes. They got Struz that can make threes. They got guys. Hey, they got guys that can make threes. They can post you up. They can rebound. They have a total team If they get out of this Who's in the next round The winner What seed are they They They gotta be the 4 or 5 This is Yeah 4 or 5 Yeah this is 4 or 5 That mean they play Detroit That means they go up They play Detroit I think they taking that I think they want that If you Cleveland, you want that.

33:05Chad Johnson:Oh, yeah, absolutely. If you Cleveland, you want Detroit versus Boston. You rather, I mean, obviously you're going to have to still go through Boston, but I'm going to take Detroit. Hey, Joe. What's happening? Hey, you know how to spin the ball on your finger, boy? Come on, man. Come on. Come on, bro. I learned that. Hey, that was elementary school, bro. Shoot, I just broke my camera trying to do that, right?

33:35Chad Johnson:but yeah I agree with you guys I watched it for as long as I could and then it got boring I mean I mean it's just hard for me to watch Toronto I understand that I have to watch him because I know it's the playoff and we're going to talk about him at some point but hey look let me tell you something it's a superstar dribbling and they got good look B.I. has been to the all been been an all-star I think Scottie Barnes made the all-star team Hey, listen. They got some players over there, Uncle Nojo. But, boy, when I tell y 'all they fan base real, I'm talking about, man, I played against them boys when I was in Brooklyn in a playoff series.

34:10Chad Johnson:Oh, my God. I've never been in a place so loud. I'm talking about, boy, them Toronto fans don't play. What? Huh? Yeah. But they got the work cut out for them, Joe. They got the work cut out for them. But I can see this game going. I mean this series going six, seven games. Because it's going to be hard to win in Toronto, man. I'm telling you. Yeah. Giannis wish he had shut down trade rumors from day one of this season. He said, if I could turn back time, I would maybe come out a little early and say this ends today. Look in my eyes. I'm staying in Milwaukee. He also says he prefers Miami over L.A.

34:52Chad Johnson:Miami, Miami. I think L.A. is superficial. I don't like L.A. Okay, you say you want to shut down trade rumors, but you're talking about you prefer Miami over L.A. Come on, Joe. Make it make sense now. Talk to me, Joe. Hey, Joe. What are we doing here? Listen, I told y 'all ahead of time. I told y 'all a long time ago. Talk to Joe. Where did I say he was going, Joe? Hey, with the type of money he's making, hell, I want Miami, too. Hell, I'm a version of L.A. Yeah, who would want, instead of giving up 13%, and now they're putting an extra 2, 3, 4%, oh, you're making a million dollars. So, yeah, yeah, I won't anywhere other than in California.

35:27Chad Johnson:Hey, I'm down. But the problem is, I thought you didn't want to go nowhere. I want you to be shut down. You said it was your agent. That's what you said. You said you had no control. You said even now you have no control. Whatever your wife decides, that's what you do. So she should have shut it down, you mean. Or your agent should have shut it down. You got no control. that's what you told us. This was your agent work or this was your wife's work. Now, which is it? Either you were lying then or you're lying now. I was lying then and I'm lying now. Hey, listen. But Giannis might as well be a politician, Uncle Joe.

36:08He might as well be a politician. Yeah, you're right. Because he's doing it the right way. He's doing it the right way. But listen, you know you don't want to be there. You don't want to come out and say it. You don't want to be disrespectful to the organization. You don't want to be disrespectful. No, he don't want that blowback. He don't give a damn about the organization. He want that blowback.

36:25Chad Johnson:He didn't want him a title, bro. What else y 'all want? Y 'all want me to win you another one? Hey, the team ain't constructed the same. Right. They built a team for him. They fired Adrian Griffin. Who do you think wanted Adrian Griffin fired on you? You know who wanted him fired? Exactly. Who wanted Dane? Did they go get Dane for him? They traded everybody. They traded Holliday. They got rid of Middleton. and they got Dave. Who's that for? No, it's for y 'all. Yeah, they added both his brothers. So this notion that they weren't trying to do anything for him is just not true. No, no, no. But Joe, you right.

37:04He done won him a title. There's really not much more he can do after said title was won. Listen, remember the memories. Go about your business. Don't say anything disrespectful, but don't put your foot in your mouth coming out saying stuff like this.

37:19Chad Johnson:Yeah, man, listen. Exactly. I mean, think about it, man. The one thing Giannis knows that he probably don't realize is that, damn, man, it's hard to get free agents to come here and play with me. Oh, really? Yeah. You don't say. Hey, let me go down here where these palm trees are and where this beach is down here, and let me see, you know, if I can team up with a few cats, and maybe we can make some noise. Yeah. Hey. Guess what else is hard to do? when you've had free reign for the last 10 years and you go somewhere and you ain't got that level of control no more. Over there with Pat? That's Miami.

37:55Chad Johnson:Yeah. If he had a leash on Braun, you know it's going to be on Giannis too, boy. Hey, because your brothers ain't going to be on the team over here. You don't think so? Hey, Joe, you don't think so? Hell no. Hell no. Damn. Boy, you know, Pat, look here. Pat didn't like that, man. Pat run that ship. Mickey Harrison is giving, and he has part ownership. Man, he run that thing with an iron fist. And that's my only thing. I don't have a problem with a guy wanting to leave. I don't. So I don't want the chat or anybody to think I am pro players. The only thing that I have a problem with is you try to hide because you don't want the blowback.

38:47Chad Johnson:That's what I got. He's a nice guy. And that's what he doesn't want, because he saw the criticism that LeBron got. He saw the criticism that KD got and he saw that. And he's like, no, I want that. It ain't got nothing to do with me. If my wife want to leave, I got to listen to her. If my agent want to leave, I got to listen to him. Nah, bro. He's the good guy. He's never been the villain. He's always been, you know, the Greek freak. The Greek freak doesn't want the blowback. He doesn't want to be the villain or play that role. So he's doing everything he can so he doesn't have to. Well, I ain't got no problem with that.

39:21Chad Johnson:Yeah, Ocho. Hey, guess what? They probably should, hey, Milwaukee probably should have, hey, when Nico called and asked, did you want Luca? They probably should have took the deal. Oh, yeah. But they didn't want to entertain it. If the reports are true, they call Milwaukee and they call Minnesota. Now Ant-Man is off limits. Now you can't have Giannis. What would they do? Now they would love to have Luka now, wouldn't they? But Luka would be pissed off. Hey, guess what? At that point in time, we already pissed him off because we traded and messed up his max opportunity. So, hey, we can't make it any worse than what it already is.

40:16Chad Johnson:But think about it. They trade him to L.A., though, Arcan Ocho. Yeah. Trade him to the hottest franchise in the NBA, bro. You know, I know the tax is high as hell out there, but the money he can make off the court is out of the roof. It'd be equivalent. If Luka wins a championship, it's over. The money he could make off the court would be equivalent if he played in New York, Joe. Yeah. It'd be equivalent if he played in New York. LA, hell yeah. Absolutely right. Hell yeah. So look, if I'm Luka, yeah, my feelings probably was hurt at first, but I done got over it now. Yeah, I done got over it now, Ojo.

40:56Chad Johnson:I let the league in scoring. I just had some unfortunates because, boy, look. If Luka was playing, I'd take the Lakers. Oh, where? If the Lakers had Luka in this series. Against the Rockets? Yeah, for sure. Hell yeah. They were sweet. I would take the Lakers in no more than five. Yeah. Hold on. Even with KD out, y 'all still taking the Rockets? I think KD coming back. I think KD coming back. Right. Game two. Yeah. And I think it's going to look totally different from game one. Oh, yeah. Boy, look here. Hookah, Luka, Puka.

41:45Chad Johnson:But it is what it is. That's my only problem. I got no problem with Giannis wanting to leave Milwaukee. Kareem wanted to leave. Ray Allen left. So this is not new. But don't hide behind your wife and your agent. That's my only issue. I don't care where he go. He can go to Miami. He can go to New York. But guess what? Pat Riley, you're going to have to get up off Tyler Hero. You're going to have to get up off where? And you might have to get up off David Mitchell. Because I can tell you who we bringing in. I told you. I still don't believe Bam. I still don't believe Bam and Giannis enough to get to a championship.

42:31Chad Johnson:That's just me. I couldn't be totally wrong. So you're going to leave at my young boy out there in Memphis that's coming too? The least. The least. So what you going to give him to get him? If you Miami, now you gave up Davion Mitchell, you gave up Tyler Hero, you gave up Kel Mitchell to get Giannis. What you going to get John Morant with? Ass and mouth? He's the least expensive. All right. All right. Hey, listen. That's what the old people used to say, son. What I'm going to get him with? See y 'all laughing, that when it happened. Y 'all laughing when it happened. That's Joe the one piece. Joe, you ain't never heard of one piece of saying that.

43:12Chad Johnson:I ain't heard of one. Man, hey, yo. I gotta use that. Hey, Ocho, I don't know how you plan on pulling out two blockbuster trades like that, brother. Y 'all slim pickings over there. I know, I know, I know. One for sure. I know. We gonna see, though. We gonna see. So I just, Joe still think, I'm like, well, yeah, wait. You done gave up everything. So what? You going to trade Bam to get Joe? Yeah.

43:46Chad Johnson:Please. It's going to be some furniture moving, though. That's my only issue. I think Giannis is a phenomenal player, obviously. Top 75 player, two-time MVP, finals MVP, defensive player of the year. Ain't no arguing his talent. You know what he is. Just don't hide behind your wife and your agent. That's all. Oh, Joe, I know you happy about this. The Giants traded Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence to the Bengals for the 10th pick in next week in the draft. The Giants now own pick number five and pick number 10 in the first round. Cincinnati Bengals. No, they're not. No, they're not. They're absolutely not.

44:27Hey, Joe. Joe, we getting better, huh? We getting better. we gave him the 10th pick, right? You hear me, Unc?

44:34Chad Johnson:Yeah. We gave him the 10th pick and let a first round pick go that you don't know. You don't know what you're getting with your first round pick. Now, we looked at that. You read off Dexter Lawrence's stats, right? Based on what he did last year, okay? We know what he was the year before that and we know what he did the year before that. When we talk about the top leaf of the tackle, Joe, in the NFL, Dexter Lawrence is still one of those difference makers. a difference maker who is double teamed 60 to 70 percent of the time okay okay stay with me real quick when we talk about the top defensive tackles in the nfl that can make an impact we have opportunity to get one of those who had a down season the bangles were extremely extremely bad on defense last year one we couldn't stop the goddamn run right we got brother jared allens Now we bring in brother Dexter Lawrence, who probably needed a change of scenery.

45:31Outside of having a down year, there were probably some internal issues where he didn't want to be there.

45:36Chad Johnson:Yeah. What can we get? Well, he didn't have... Oh, Joe. Joe, he had no more guaranteed money. He wanted a new deal. He got one. I got... Hey, bless his heart. I just... And I said this. I don't believe the Giants can do that based on the half a sack that he gave him last year. That's it. I paid you for those years. The Pro Bowl years, I paid you for that. Now I've got to pay you based on what I believe you'll do moving forward. Now, you trade for him. Who did you? I remember the Giants traded for – not the Giants, the Jets. Traded Hassan Reddick. Remember he was with the Eagles, Joe? Yes. And Ocho?

46:22Chad Johnson:He was with the Eagles. The Jets traded for him. You trade for him and you're not going to give him a contract and you thought he was going to come? 50:02Chad Johnson:So at the Bengals, if you're not going to give them a contract, you're just wasting the... Well, you know we're going to give them a contract, huh? We're not playing no games. Well, y 'all cheap asses. Hey, Joe Burrow already sent that message in the middle of the season, Joe. You know that's why they're making the move they're making defensively. Mike Brown, Katie, and Troy, no, Joe is not playing. Build a team around me that is competent, especially on the other side of the ball, so if we score 50 points, the other team don't score 52. And they're showing. They put their money where their mouth is.

50:32And we talk about, listen, hold on. We talk about Dexter Lawrence, right? You talk about last year. You missed some time last year, too. You know he had an elbow injury. He had an elbow injury. His elbow was messed up. The year before that, he was the seventh best player in the goddamn league. And we talk about from a defensive tackle position.

50:51Chad Johnson:But, hey, it's what have you done for me lately, Ocho. You know that. Yes! Ocho know that, too. I don't know why Ocho did that. Hey, Uncle Joe, I understand that. But I'm telling you, what are you going to get? Ocho, that man played 17 games last year. Joe, he missed no time. Wait. Hold on. No, he wasn't. He was hurt last year. What year was the elbow? He played 17 games, had 31 tackles, 14 solo, 17 assists, a half a sack. No forced fumble, no fumble recovery. He had one interception. The year before, he played 12 games. Okay, okay, okay. I got my ears mixed up. And guess what? That year, he had nine sacks.

51:28Chad Johnson:The year before that, he played 16 games, had four and a half sacks. Hey, Joe, you do understand it's a D tackle, right? Yeah. It's a D tackle we talk about. He's double teamed 60, 70 % of the time, Joe. He got two people on him. And he putting up them numbers. I got you. I got you, bro. This ain't no DN. Yeah. He had a half a sack more than I had, and I ain't been on the football field in two decades. Hey, you know what? He's in the right place. He's in the right place. And Mike Brown is showing you. Well, who are you rushing? Because think about this. he got a half a sack with Thibodeau, Abdul Carter, Ryan Burns.

52:08Chad Johnson:They went crazy. So now tell me the guy that's on the defensive line that matches that. Nobody. But hold on. Them boys had double-digit sacks on both sides. So who gonna get double-digit sacks? So think about it. They had double-digit sacks. He had half a sack. So now you don't got nobody that gonna have double-digit sacks. How many sacks he actually gonna have now? We don't know because the season hasn't started yet. But I know one thing. We've gotten better. We've gotten better. Tenth pick for half a second. And who's the tenth pick? Who are we getting that's going to come in and make an impact?

52:42What about Reuben Bain from Miami? He's going to be gone. He's not going to be around in no tenth. You don't know that. They said that about Michael Parsons. He wasn't going at the eleventh pick. Come on now. Reuben Bain, he's not going to be there. Not in no tenth. If anything, if anything, Caleb Dallas ain't even going to be there. because that would have been the person I think we would have gotten to add to our secondary. He not even be there at 10. I know. I'm telling you. Because I know other teams. I know other teams.

53:11Chad Johnson:I tell you, I know I'm not giving up the 10th pick in the draft for half a sack. I'm not doing that. I know I would. Because hold on, let me go. There's nothing in the draft that's better than the draft. There's nothing in the draft that has a better resume than Dexter Lawrence. Hey. I can tell you that. You know what? There's nothing in the draft. The Mark got Caleb Downs going to your guppies. There's nothing to draft that better than Dexter Lawrence, I can tell you that. We don't know, Ocho. Hey, Ocho, what does John say? He's proven. Okay, he had a down year. I had a down year. What did that mean?

53:43And I came back and had three more thousand-yard seasons after that. He had a down year.

53:50Chad Johnson:It's incredibly rare when NFL franchises trade draft picks this high in the draft for individual veterans. We've seen a grand total of two veterans traded for first-round picks that were already guaranteed to be top 10 since 2000. One of them was Randy Moss. He was dealt for the seventh overall pick in 2005. The other was Russell Wilson, and he was shipped to the Broncos, including the ninth overall pick. How did that work out, don't you? Randy Moss, it worked out beautiful. Are you talking about Russell Wilson? Hold on. They traded him to the Vikings. I mean, from the Raiders. Oh, yeah, that didn't work out too well.

54:28But you see when he went to the Raiders, though, they weren't good back then. But Randy Moss was already a Hall of Famer, though, Ocho.

54:36Chad Johnson:Hold on. He was 28. Hold on, hold on. How old is Dexter Lawrence? I don't know. He got to be at least 29, 30. Wait, hold on. He about to be 29. Ain't nothing wrong with that. Hey, hold on. We talking like Dexter Lawrence is some scrub or something. you talk about Dexter Lawrence like he Aaron Donald he's the top three defensive tackle in the league Jeffrey Simmons, Chris Jones Aaron Donald is gone and Dexter Lawrence what are we talking about? no, I'm not taking him I'm not taking him over Jordan Davis right now, I'm not even even though I have concerns about his conditioning I'm not taking him over what you call him, Jalen Carter okay, well that's your personal opinion but I'm just saying based on what Dexter Lawrence has done since he's been in the NFL, he's a very, very good pick.

55:25And he's worthy.

55:27Chad Johnson:I paid him for what he did in the NFL. I'm paying. Now I got to pay him for what he's going to do moving forward. See, you want to see. That's your problem. That's why you couldn't be a GM because you're going to pay everybody based on what they've done. I've got to pay you based on what you're going to do moving forward. He already got a big contract. I can't keep paying him based on what the hell he's done. I've got to pay you based on what I believe you do. Have you seen our defense? have you seen the Cincinnati bang on defense the past two three years yeah and I don't think it's gotten any better you don't think so we don't show you hey hey he don't either he just in denial right now who's in denial we ain't talking about the river in Africa y 'all say oh he had a bad season why'd you go get him there's nobody else to get we have to and now you're telling me oh my goodness the draft is coming up we're gonna get a player in the draft that's gonna come in and make an immediate impact it ain't nobody doing that either so you don't so so so why should anybody take reuben bane caleb downs because they right now they got caleb downs in the mark going number 11 to your guppy so my who your guppy please stop disrespecting my teams no we cannot i don't say hey i don't say nothing bad about your ponies i don't say nothing bad about your ponies you can't You okay?

56:49We were in the playoff back-to-back years with a rookie. Something your team didn't do with you. Hold on, you ended up on the couch two weeks after we did. What you saying? My quarterback got hurt. What was your excuse? Our quarterback was hurt, too. No, your quarterback got hurt. They put our quarterback on the bench. Yeah. His feelings was hurt. That's the only thing that was hurt, his feelings. Hey, you know what? I'm so glad y 'all talk about my goddamn bangles like this, huh, and the moves that we making. we showing y 'all that we not being cheap they weren't talking about Mike Brown being cheap what is Mike Brown doing?

57:20He putting his mouth with the money he's showing y 'all we have to improve defensively so what do we do? we go and get proven players that have done it before

57:34Chad Johnson:based on that.5 sacks he was not the third best defensive tackle in football. I'm just saying based on last year but still Still one of the better players, even though he didn't have the amount of sacks he'd like. Worth a 10 pick in the draft? Absolutely. And guess what? You gave him a 10 pick in the draft, and you're going to have to pay him$28 to$32 million a year. And I'll tell you what. You might not do it, but there's nobody in the draft better than Dexter Lawrence at his position right now, and there's nobody defensively that's better him at their position. I bet that. You just talked to Big Mac.

58:10You just talked to Big Mac.

58:13Chad Johnson:You just told me back over Ohio. So are we are we really doing that? So you saying Big Mac is going to come in and be better than Dexon Lawrence right now? Are we really doing that? Are you betting your money on that? Talk to me. Huh? Yeah. All of this is come on there to give up a 10 pick in the draft and you got to give him a contract on top of it. Got to make it sticky. You gots to be more careful.

58:46I ain't think they had no more money left over there. Hey, Joe, don't play with us like that, Joe. No, I'm real. Hey, the cap continues to go up every single year. There's always money. And if they ever tell you there's not no money, it's because they don't want to pay you. If they want you, they got some wiggle room. You hear me? Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. They know how to make room, Joe. When I saw this today, I said, man, don't y 'all go point. Don't y 'all go be so happy. You right. You right. Now, let's see somebody. Let's see Derrick Henry run the goddamn ball now. Huh? Let's see him run the goddamn ball now.

59:17Matter of fact, let's see him throw the ball now. DJ Turner, they picking everything off like a booger. You hear me?

59:24Chad Johnson:Hey, y 'all already know Lamar owns Cincinnati. L Jack owns Cincinnati. Yeah. Hey, well, I can't wait till football season, boy. Huh? Because I'm going to have you crying. Well, you, it going to be crying. I want you to remember this day. I want you to remember this day. Joe, you over there laughing too? Don't think I ain't forgot about you and your goddamn Falcons. Huh? We going to see who get the last laugh.

59:49Joe like the Cowboys.

59:50Chad Johnson:Hey, Joe, you live in Atlanta, Joe. Hey, man, I didn't even catch that you called me a Falcon fan. I'm not a – I like the Falcons, Ocho, but I'm a Cowboys fan. All right. I'm going to pray for you too. And Dexter Long ain't the third best because he ain't better than Cam Hayward for the Pittsburgh Steelers either. And Matt Abiqui is back from Baltimore, and he's not better than him. Hey, have Matt Abiqui and Cam Hayward ever had the seasons that Dexon Lawrence has? When? Yeah. When? When? When? When have they ever had a season like Dexon Lawrence? His best season. When have either one of them ever had a season like that at the deep tackle position?

1:00:30Oh, yeah, I'm ready. Come on now. Come on. Yeah. Come on. Sugar ready for this. I put that on my cheetah pants. Neither one of them has. Yeah, come on, Ash.

1:00:42Chad Johnson:Bring it up, Ash. Woo-hoo! Hey, Dexter Lawrence has been to three Pro Bowls. Cam Hayward is a first-team All-Pro four times with seven Pro Bowls. Who been playing longer? What we doing here? Who been playing longer? Yeah, come on now. I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm just telling you, my guy. Who been playing longer? Give me Matabiqui. Matabiqui has been a friend. I'm listening. Who been playing longer? Cam Haywood is what? 30 what? 37? Huh? Let that sink in. My guy 36, your guy 28, and my guy putting foot in your guy. Who? Why, why, why, why, why? He done played six, seven more years. What we talking about?

1:01:25Chad Johnson:And still playing at a higher level than your guy. If he was playing at such a high level, he wouldn't have been crying about his contract a few years ago where they didn't want to pay him. What we talking about? And he still, and he balled out. He didn't have a choice. They didn't have nobody else doing nothing out there. He ain't have a choice. What we talking about? Hey, we on my topic now. We on football, so I'm ready for everything you throw at me. Yes. Huh? Let's go. Hey, my guy missed all last year, and he's been to one few of Pro Bowls with one few of seasons. So my guy going to be better than your guy.

1:01:58My Duque? Listen, I'm not here to disrespect anybody. I'm here to uplift my player that we just got. I'm not worried about what your player does. Yeah, who's uplifting? I'm not worried about what they've done in the past. I want to know, what have you done for me lately? And the season hasn't started yet, and that's all that matters. You're just talking about what have you done for me lately.

1:02:15Chad Johnson:Your guy had a half a sack. My guy missed the entire season. Your guy played in 17 games and had half a sack more than what my guy missed in the entire season. And you're talking about what have you done for me lately. It's 2026. Your guy done nothing. It's 2026, and Dexter Lawrence is better than everybody you just named. I can tell you that. And ask any. You do realize Matt Abiquet has had 13 sacks in a season. Wait, say it again? Say what? Now all of a sudden you sit on a tree branch and turn your head on the wheel around. Who had 13 sacks in a season? Matt Abiquet. What position does Matt Abiquet play?

1:02:53D-Tackle. He does not play D-Tackle.

1:02:59When did he have a 13-sack season at D-Tackle? When? Whoa, whoa. That would put him up. You're scaring me. You're scaring Joe, and I'm going to have to hang up on you. That would be in the upper echelon of de-tackles with goddamn Aaron Donald. He ain't had no 13-sack season. Chris Jones have had 15. Chris Jones is the best de-tackle in the league, along with Jeffrey Simmons. When he had 13-sacks, he did 15.

1:03:28Chad Johnson:Ocho, Ocho. Yeah, I'm ready. I'm ready. Go look it up. Google him. Just the facts, ma 'am. Just the facts. Huh? That's all I'm going to give you. Just the facts. What are you talking about, Joe? I'm talking about Matt Abique as a better defensive tackle than that. He's definitely not. That's all. And you only believe that because you're a Ravens player and former player. That's the only reason you believe that. Whoa. That's it. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Where was Matt Abique last year? He was hurt. Why was he hurt? That's why they couldn't get no pressure. Why was he hurt? I don't know. why he was hurt.

1:04:05Chad Johnson:I thought you hurt his neck. Oh, my neck. Oh. You mean to tell me hold on. You mean to tell me your guy was healthy all year and only gave you a half a sack? Hold on. You know why he got half a sack? Because the goddamn greedy ass defense ends took all the goddamn sacks. Huh? Let me tell you that. Why did they have all the sacks on the outside? Because they refused to run the ball up the goddamn middle. Hey, Joe. I was just at Whole Foods this morning. I had more sacks. I had two sacks than what he had all year in 17 games. I was just at Whole Foods this morning. Ask him. I was in the self-checkout.

1:04:42Two sacks. Hold on. Hey, so you mean, hold on. Your player had no sacks and he was hurt last year, right? Yeah. But for some reason, you think he's better than Dexter Lawrence. And he didn't even play last year. So you think he's better off of something he did two years ago?

1:05:02Chad Johnson:I told you my guy missed the entire season and had a half a sack less than your guy who played 17 games. That means my guy would still be better either way because yours didn't do anything last year. What? Your guy just collected a check. So what's your guy? He collected a check all last year and didn't do nothing. I mean, he got a sexy dance, though. He got a sexy dance. Yes! He got us. Hey, don't be hating on us. Hey, you know what? I'm hating. I'm hating. I'm hating. Hey, don't hate on us trying to improve our defense. I'm not mad. I just think you gave up a bit much. We didn't. That's all.

1:05:47Because it ain't nothing for them to come in there and make the Bengals. Wow. Oh, Joe.

1:05:52Chad Johnson:Oh, Joe, Joe, Joe. Here we go. Matt Abiquet played two games. He had two sacks. Your guy played 17, half a sack. Your guy played two games last year? Two games. Ah, that's it. Yeah, what? Ah, get up. Oh, yeah. Hey, see, Ocho. Hey. I don't even want to do Ocho like this. They don't even double team him, Joe. You hear me? Who? They don't even double team him. Listen, when you play, when you look at the scouting report, when you play the goddamn Ravens, you know, they talk about Kyle Hamilton, you know? That's the focal point, you know? Kyle Hamilton. You know, we got to deal with him. He's the versatile one.

1:06:38We got to watch where he lines up at. Huh? We ain't talking about nobody on that goddamn defensive line. This ain't the early 2000s. What are we talking about?

1:06:48Chad Johnson:They were talking about, hey, they're talking about Brian Burns. Yeah.

1:06:58double digit sacker

1:07:02Chad Johnson:I mean look here if you got a double digit sacker on both sides though double digit sackers on both sides and you mean to tell me you can't get but a half because they going away from you they going away from you don't you think they should be why you think they not allowing the pocket collapse and they running outside away from him. Let me ask you a question. You believe Dexter Lawrence better than Quinny, Quinny Williams? Because you said he was the third best D-tackler. Now, I done named a couple of them and he keep going lower and lower. That's a good one. That's a good one. Okay, we'll give you a clear answer.

1:07:40That's a good one. Can I ask you a question? At any point, when we talk about some of the better D-tacklers in the NFL, was Quinny Williams ever in that conversation with Dexter Lawrence? Yes, absolutely. Let me finish with Aaron Donald, with Jeffrey Simmons, with Chris Jones.

1:07:58Chad Johnson:Yes. It was? Okay. Yeah. I mean, first of all, Aaron is a historical pick. Oh, yeah, absolutely. You're talking about Aaron Donald. You're talking about one of – you can make a case that Aaron Donald is one of the greatest defensive players of all time. Not just now in the last 10, 15 years. You're talking about the history of the game, you can make a case for Aaron Donald. Three defensive player of the year, eight first-team All-Pros, 10 Pro Bowls. He went to the Pro Bowl every year he was in the league. He was an eight-time first-team All-Pro, and he was defensive rookie of the year. So we're talking about one of the historically great players in the history of the NFL.

1:08:32Chad Johnson:So all the guys that you mentioned, they're good and great in their own right, but they ain't him. When you start talking about Aaron Donald, you start talking about guys like Ray White. You're talking about a guy like Lawrence Taylor. You're talking about guys like Ray Luke. Yeah, you're talking about his pantheon, pantheon players. I ain't taking Dexter Lawrence over the big D tackle out of Seattle that we had on Big Little Williams. Yeah, that boy's good. Now, at that point, you know, when... Big Buck, DeForest Buckner out of Indy. He keep going, every time I name somebody, he go lower and lower.
