In short
NBA and NFL sports talk plus a long, comedic off-topic segment. Main sports claims: Adam Silver wants the Memphis Grizzlies to play a few regular-season games in Nashville each year to “test the waters” and build Tennessee fan interest; franchise moves are driven by money and cities’ willingness to fund arenas. NFL Draft rule changes: the time between first-round picks was reduced to 8 minutes (from 10), and the hosts argue teams already know their picks and the extra time is mostly for theatrics. Cowboys contract talk: Dallas will not negotiate a long-term deal with franchise-tagged WR George Pickens; they expect him to play under the franchise tag.
Guest backgrounds
No named guests appear in the transcript; the episode is hosted by “Ocho” and “Joe” (with “Unc” referenced as a caller/relative). No formal guest bios are provided.
Key claims and notable examples
Grizzlies’ history is referenced (originally in Vancouver). The hosts cite Steelers GM Omar Khan preferring the old 10-minute rule. They mention the Cowboys’ franchise-tag precedent with Dak and another player (“D-Long”). For the NBA, they discuss OKC vs Phoenix playoff games, citing OKC’s defense/turnovers and expecting Phoenix to be swept.
Notable examples
Nashville already has the Titans and a hockey team; the hosts say a basketball team is next. They also reference Kareem’s record in Vegas and other past NBA “neutral” venue examples.

2:35Well, most people drive about 40 miles a day, which means you can do all daily stuff, no problem. Go to work, grab the kids at school, get the groceries, and still have enough charge to visit your in-laws in the next county. but they don't need to know that and the best part you won't have to buy gas at all the way forward is electric explore EVs that fit your life at electricforall.org Guys Adam Silver says he wants the Grizzlies to play a few games in Nashville each season I love for them to play a few games a year and sort of be Tennessee's team Joe
3:15Chad Johnson:that's just that's just a little push in the back he giving right now. Like, you know, we gonna test out these waters in Nashville, see what type of crowds we get, see what type of people show up, hey, see what type of response we get. And hey, hey, if it's over the top, bye, Nashville, here we come. Y 'all realize how did Memphis get the Grizzlies? They came from Vancouver. Yeah, yeah, I'm right. Yeah, they used to be in Vancouver, Ocho. Hey, so this, oh, so, oh, he think he's slick. So now the player's complaining so much about Memphis. So now Adam Silver step up, and he get, he get, he get, he put in little jumper cables.
3:57He put in the jumper cables on right now. Nashville got a little money down there, a little bit.
4:01Chad Johnson:Yeah. Hey, Nashville nice, man. But see, the thing is, I'm old enough to remember, they used to take NBA team. You know the Hawks used to play games in New Orleans. Yeah, yeah. Because I got to drum up entries. The Lakers would come out here to Vegas and play in Thomas and Mac. That's where Kareem broke the record. Yeah. Boston would play in Connecticut.
4:30Hey, Chad, I ain't Googled it. You know, because anytime we say something over here, I'll show you all Googling it. Research. I'm old enough to remember. Yeah. Adam Silver know what he's doing, huh? Follow the money. Look here. Follow the money. I'm going to the highest. Look here. You see what the NFL try to do with the game? They're like, look here. See, the thing's supposed to go to 2033. They can opt out in 29. They see these streaming services. Boy, they say, ooh, what y 'all see all that money Netflix got? Ooh, y 'all see all that money Paramount got? Ooh, you can't talk about that. Now, don't be surprised if Sunday Night Football isn't on a streaming platform in the very near future.
5:11But ain't none of my business. i don't even know why i broke that up guys well that's gonna hey that's gonna be here to try to watch guess what it's already here trying to watch my cable bill like two thousand dollars all these damn street platforms i got hey hey you got you got myself you got about three four billion they'll be having nfl on tubby yeah yeah but joe i got by damn every app you can have what's your choice man me too me too old joe ash got every app you could think of this thing got ridiculous come on now hey netflix come up there ashley's the first one nah this ain't just me
5:50ash got every app amazon prime netflix hey i have to call ash man hey what you doing What you do to my account? I mean, your account.
6:07But, yeah, it's – I'm not going to be surprised. I don't think anybody's going to be surprised. And I think that's why everybody – I think that's why so many people got upset because I think they kind of see the writing on the wall that – Yeah. They're like, man, what Nashville already got, they already got the Titans and they got a hockey team. Yeah, they about to get a basketball team too.
6:31Chad Johnson:There you go. There you go. For real. That's funny how that's set up. Yeah. You see the play from far away. That's crazy. Man, I don't know why y 'all think there's loyalty in sports. They've never been. The Dodgers was in Brooklyn. Teams move. It's about money. Who got the most of it? What city's going to pay to build a new arena or give us 75 % to 80 % on a new arena, Ocho? Who's going to do that? Why you think Kansas City left? How many times have the Rams moved?
7:11Well, I've got a question. Yeah, hopefully I've got an answer. Hey, Joe, why everybody say money ain't everything, but for some reason, it seemed to be everything. No, that's for people that ain't got it. Because people that got it, what they try to do, Ocho, get more of it right yeah yeah yeah or tell you it ain't everything when was the last how many times have you ever heard in your life you've heard people say i got too many cars i got too many pairs of shoes i got too many clothes i got too many homes yes tell me the time you heard a perfect set man i got too much money never elon musk worth what 700 billion has he ever said i got too much money.
7:52They said he got more money than Mansa Musa. Mansa Musa was the great king of Africa. Had so much, had wrecked economies, he had so much gold. I'm trying to figure out when somebody's going to say they got too much money. Clothes, homes, yachts, shoes. Ain't nobody ever said a word with ever saying, I've got too much money. And they got more money than anybody could have ever. If somebody would have told you 30 years ago, somebody's going to have$200 billion. Somebody's going to have half a trillion. And within three years, he's going to have a trillion dollars, and he ain't going to ever order the words, I got too much money.
8:30Chad Johnson:You don't know. That's good.
8:36They're not. You got to just be real with this thing. That's what it's about.
8:43People that don't have it, what does it say? People that don't have it, what they try to do, get it. People that got it, what they try to do, get more of it. so what are we talking about here everybody oh it ain't everything because you ain't got it let's be all the way real with this let's be real with it yeah they argue they argue down about that yeah they argue down i got peace i got you know i got all all this other stuff it found good yo Oh, yes, exactly. It sounds good. You at peace? You can't? Okay. Shh, man, please. Yeah. That sound good, real good too. That might be a Hallmark movie or something.
9:34I'm at peace. No. But to each his own, whatever makes you happy. I'm not here to upset whatever you say. if that's what you are, my peace comes from being able to take care of my family. My happiness knowing I'm in a situation that is something where the unforeseen happened, I can take care of the people that I love the most.
10:02Medical bills can ruin, can ruin, turn things upside down. I mean, you talk about these treatments that two, three, four hundred thousand dollars, half a million dollars. Everybody ain't got that kind of money. And then if you need, and your family member needs that.
10:26I know what medical costs.

NFL changed the rules this year to drive a limiting team to 8 minutes between first round pick, it used to be 10. At one point, it was 15 if I'm not mistaken, right? It went from 15 to 10, 9's down to 8.
15:28What y 'all on the clock for? Y 'all had a whole year to evaluate these players. You had the Senior Bowl, you had the Combine, you have all this stuff. You don't need all that time. You're wasting time. And you know what? The first three teams, they don't even need it. You're right. They don't need eight minutes because they already know who you're picking, especially the first team. The Raiders know they're picking Mendoza. There's no need to waste a whole eight minutes. For what? For theatrics?
15:55Chad Johnson:For theater? As a matter of fact, you're the first pick of the draft, you get five. Because you already know if you want to trade, you already done talked tonight. Ain't nobody gets all of a sudden just jumped on the damn clock saying you want to trade. Hey, they need time in between, man. They need time in between. Hey, Joe, they want to be suspenseful like a goddamn horror movie. That's all. You know what it is. You know what it is. Some general managers are not happy about that. The Steelers' GM, Omar Khan, said he preferred the old rule, 10 minutes between first-round picks. I love to have 10 minutes, but it's the same for everybody else.
16:31Eight minutes is what it is. But those two minutes feel like an eternity sometimes. They do. Y 'all wasting time stalling. They say, look at that. Because they want to keep the interest in there. Hey, you want to trade? Come on with it then. y 'all waiting just sitting there pretending like y 'all talking who we gonna take we already done selected but let's make the people at home think we still thinking about it man pick that damn man you know damn well who you taking so if that's the case what I think the other picks what five minutes on Joe yeah I think the second I think the rest of them are like five minutes that's
17:17Chad Johnson:y 'all ever been in the draft room on draft day y 'all never done that I done it when I was playing here in Atlanta bro I went in there one time and sat down with them and just see how things operate it's chaotic in there man I gotta imagine man I'm working out all I know is they're probably trying to get somebody to come take my position so no I don't care nothing about the draft nothing nothing that was it good luck finding somebody to get my position yeah i'm i'm gonna go sit in the draft room this year too man i think how it's gonna have my top five pick oh you want to be a gm yeah i got a couple yeah i could be a gm hold on joe i ain't trying to be hey hey joe i like that you just said that joe because you know you know what they say the tongue is powerful speaking into existence.
18:11We know you're talking powerful. Joe.
18:14Chad Johnson:Come on. Come on. Tongue full mouth. Hey, hey. Hey, Joe. Hey, think about you being the coach of the Hawks, Joe. You said coach? Yeah. Listen, you coach of the Hawks, and then you work your way up upstairs as the GM, the general manager position. I can see me doing a little something like that, Ocho. You know what? I love the game so much, bro. I enjoy being around it. You know what I mean? Right. I think when you really think about it, when you get a chance to pave the way a little bit to some of these young cats who may be in the league or coming into the league not really knowing what to expect or what they're going to be encountering, man, to have veteran guys who've been around the block kind of know the ropes and can kind of subside some of the mistakes that they may or may not make.
19:00Chad Johnson:Yes, sir. From that standpoint, yeah, I mean, I would love to. I like that. What's Dominique Wilkins What's his role Dominique can do whatever the hell he want around there Right now he I think he do the radio He do the television He do the TV I need to know whoever's in charge At the Atlanta Hawks right now This Ocho talking And I need y 'all to give Joe A position Now if things don't go well And you're looking for a new head coach Boom there he is right there I love Quinn I love Quinn. We good at the head coach. Hey, Ocho, I got some stuff that I do for the Hawks, bro. I ain't pressed by none of that.
19:42Chad Johnson:You feel me? But I do. But listen, but listen. I do love to be around, you know, come to the game, talk to the player from time to time. You know what I'm saying? Like, I ain't no pressure on none of that. Okay, I know it ain't no pressure, Joe, but let me, come on. Let me sell you. Let me sell you, Joe. Go ahead. Do your one, two, bro. Yeah, let me sell you. Now, I know you respect Mr. Quinn, you know, and all that good stuff, about I hear you but Atlanta Hawks organization this week we got you a good one in Joe you hear me he loved being around the game and think about what he can do for the players coming in not only ones coming into the draft for the ones that are there but then what how we go now we just about to add Joe to the graphics the big three then now we did what we do that ain't it ain't gonna happen don't worry about it I'm like hey look look look I'm going to shoot around tomorrow I'm going to shoot around tomorrow you know the game the game I'm going to shoot around tomorrow sitting uh you get some shots up with the guys man cj gonna get some free throws up uh you know holla jj hey matter of fact hey tell cj hey tell cj stop running for me what where you running from yeah a little one-on-one a little one-on-one man you don't want nothing you don't want no i didn't beat cj already ask him about it when you go to shoot around tomorrow when you beat him it's about three years ago where y 'all was at uh at the ymca where in la
21:05I can't let Joe be by himself. Oh, there you go. There you go. Okay. Okay. Okay. Hold on. Hold on. Let me get me some drink too. Hold on.
21:16Chad Johnson:How to hear Ocho sit here all night and be drinking Red Bull and then go to sleep. How you do that? I have no earthly, but it right here, right here. What I got this little concoction. you? Yeah. I like mine with ginger ale, Joe. I know you told me about it. I ain't want to got nothing yet and tried it with no ginger. See, I like to go and get straight to the point. I don't do it. I just sip out. I poke me a little bit in and I just sip on it. You know what I mean?

37:08Chad Johnson:I don't know back then, but it's a billion dollar industry. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, always has been, Joe. Yeah. They say two in every three men is addicted. So that means out of us three, two of us got a problem. Well, I know who the one is. The other one is trying to figure out who the other one is between Joe and I. We already know one. That's a no-brainer. But I'm not addicted. You know, anything with an addiction, you know, you gotta go to rehab. Yeah, yeah. I don't need no rehab. Okay. 38:15No, I ain't got you
38:16Chad Johnson:a hoe. It just sound like you called me promiscuous. Yeah, I say you seem free spirited. Well, free spirit is the same thing. They got anything. There has to be boundaries. There has to be a limit. There has to be a place that you say, you know what? This is far as we can go. This is far as I can go. And it doesn't seem like you have those type of restraints where you say yeah, I probably shouldn't do this. I know he wouldn't try everything once he can say that already yeah but I don't I don't think there should be boundaries in that area in that in that aspect of things especially when it comes to you or your partner wow y 'all y 'all for some reason y 'all are limiting yourselves to some of the things that you could be experiencing I'm just trying to open Pandora's box for you so you you you y 'all y 'all damn near rookies and y 'all almost the door I'm open is the music that's it pandora play silently by maxwell hey that's a good one that's it that's it you need help ocho hey i i got a question too like like on a serious note on this on a serious note hey chat y 'all stop the the laughing emojis in the chat please like i want y 'all to think about this I could be wrong, but Joe and I, if a deaf person goes to court, right?
39:43Is it still considered a hearing?
39:54Yes, it is. You need help, Joe. It didn't answer. It didn't answer me all, bro. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know if I can provide the proper intervention.
40:08Chad Johnson:Intervention? You! We can't. Ain't nothing we can do. Too far gone? Too far gone. The man say he like to be pegged and all that. We can't do nothing for him. Hey, Joe, just try the ice one time, Joe. I put ice in my drink. That's the only time ice go into there. Damn. That's the only thing ice go into. this. Hey, listen, if y 'all don't want to live. All right. Don't worry about it. Then I'm trying to help y 'all. Y 'all don't y 'all. Y 'all chastising me like it's something wrong with me. What's wrong with y 'all? How about I write a book and tell the stories about what about who it all started?
40:55Chad Johnson:Oh, man, you're going to take you're going to take us back. Take it back. Take it back. take it back but see the problem is they go want names and i can't give up names because these women married they got kids and grandkids now i ain't been a man i'm sure their husband know they i'm sure them now they don't know now they don't now they don't now they don't and i hope that and they better not tell i'm with you i'm with you on that um yeah you can't call no name Nah, you know what? These folks got - Something you just take to your grave. That's it, there you go. Ain't nobody down there to tell.
41:33Go ahead and tell them now. They gonna have the crane. They gonna have to have a crane to lower me down. All the secrets I'm carrying with me, that cat's gonna be heavy in the mood.
41:51Yeah, and they burying my phones with me. I done told my sister, brother, hey, put the phone down there with me.
41:59Chad Johnson:Don't let nobody go through the phone. You bring them. You bring them with you. Hey, that's what I want. Hey, what you? That.
42:11Put me one of those nice suits of mine.
42:15Chad Johnson:They're going to try to uncover some of your dirt. That's okay. They won't get it out of them phones. I bet you that.
42:27Chad Johnson:You see OKC went on put it on Phoenix. I saw that. I guess Phoenix tried to make a game of it, but they was up by 26. Yeah. Yeah. What much they could do. They fought hard, man. Nothing just too good, man. Hey, but they big three played decent. Dylan Brooks had a bounce back game. Dylan Brooks was unbelievable tonight. He's at least scoring. He had 30. Yeah. Just need probably green to be a little more efficient. But for the most part, they big three showed up. Yeah. They can't compete with OKC. They too much, man. Way too much. You got 19 for Jalen Williams. You got 37 for Shea on 50-plus percent shooting.
43:18You got Chet gave you 19.
43:23Yeah.
43:25Chad Johnson:Everybody efficient. You can't beat them boys. They guard. They sit down. You got three guys with 20-plus points for Phoenix. You got Royce and Neil gave you 16, and you still lost by 13. It really wasn't that close because at one point it was 26. Yeah. Yeah, I expect the Suns to get swept in this. I ain't going to lie to you. I do too. They fought hard to get that A spot, but damn.
44:00They had 22 turnovers in game one. They had 21 in game two. Who are you going to be turning the ball over 20-plus times, Joe? On the road.
44:08Chad Johnson:Nobody. Nobody, but that's what OKC do, though. You know that's what they do. They defense fuel their offense. That's how they get out and get a lot of easy buckets, transition threes, and next thing you know, you're going to open up the floodgate. You look up, you down 22.
44:27Hey, Joe.
44:28Chad Johnson:What's happening? Hey, your kid's got to take your kid to work day tomorrow? Or is that only here in Miami? No, that's Joe. That must be. That's who? Joe. That's here in Atlanta? Yeah. Y 'all got that down there too? I don't know. I ain't never remember. Man, man, kids talk about them. Yes, take your kids and work day tomorrow. Like, we don't want to go to school because ain't nobody going to be there. Shit me. You going to be there. You getting up out of this house in the morning. Oh, them kids. Man, you know what? They got so many damn breaks now. Fire breaks, summer break, winter break. Yeah, I mean, we ain't never had none of these breaks.
45:12Glad to have y 'all at school tomorrow. Hey, chat, anybody in Miami in the chat? Man, they talking about, hey, Joe, they talking about definitely the second one, because you said two out of three men. Yeah. They said it's definitely Ocho the one. They talking about, man, definitely the second one. Nah, it's Joe. It's the quiet one. Y 'all know what it is, Chad. Yeah, hey, yeah. The quiet one's the one you always got to yell. It's always there. Man, listen.
45:35Chad Johnson:Chad, no. Chad, no. Chad, no. Chad got a good eye for this kind of thing here. I do, too. They kind of like me. I know. I know. I know. I'm just more like a, he like in the closet freak. You know what I mean? But Ocho, Ocho out the closet, he outside, he all over the place freak. Man, listen, I don't even care about no closet. I don't even, man, ain't no closet. I'm just, I'm outside. I already know that. I'm outside. See, and that's why God dropped me right here on this podcast, because he know, he know he need me to watch over you two. Somebody got to watch out. You know what I mean? hey joe i don't job i don't do nothing wrong where i need to be uh i need to be watched joe you know say we don't know they don't know who it is there might be oh oh there might be okay
46:33Chad Johnson:nah yeah oh you don't think so you don't think so but that ain't what god think partner huh that ain't what god thing i'm telling you yeah yeah oh joe you you definitely I don't know what's going on with you, Ocho. Yeah, I'm just living on it. That's it. I mean, I live a little bit too, you know, but I haven't got to the point. All the stuff that I want to do, I'm glad I got it out the way. So that way I don't have to take any unnecessary risk, you know, being in public and, you know, did that. You know, you know. The only thing I wish I could have got in, I wish I could have got an elevator in.
47:09But once I found out they had cameras on the elevator, I said, nah, that's a no-no for me. Right, right, right, right. Damn. It ain't never too late, huh? Yes, it is, it's absolutely too late. Boy, can you imagine that? Can you absolutely imagine that? Come on, Ocho. That'd be dope. Yeah, it would be. It would be if they didn't have cameras. Ain't nothing wrong with a, listen, ain't nothing wrong with a little camera now. As long as you doing what you're supposed to do. Well, you know, you know.
47:39Hey, you see my shirt? You see old Scooby? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll put that Scooby on him. I'll put that Scooby on him. Man, please. Cowboys will not hold contract talks regarding a long-term deal with their franchise tag wide receiver, George Pickens, according to Executive Vice President Stephen Jones. The Cowboys informed Pickens agent David Mulageta of their decision last week, hoping to put the rest to questions of an extension that would need it to be completed by July 15th. So basically, they're saying he's going to play under the franchise tag. What I told you, Joe. Hey, hold on. What I told you.
48:19Hey, chat, what did I tell you they was going to do? Did I not say they was going to play game with that young bull? I told you they was going to do this.
48:25Chad Johnson:Listen, listen. Is this the same agent that Michael Parsons has? Yes. So y 'all know we got some bad blood here already, okay? All right. Now, I know we ain't trying to take it out on Pickens. I want Pickens to get paid, Uncle Ocho. I want him to get his money too. You know what I mean? But due to some unforeseen circumstances, we just need to see it one more time, man. One more time, we're back to bring stroke up. I know he can get hurt this, that, and the third. We just need one more. One more. You do realize, Joe, it's only getting more expensive the longer you go. Because you know he comes back and if he walks off that field healthy, he's going to get a JSN deal.
49:08Chad Johnson:yeah that's why I wouldn't even be tripping I'd just be working my ass off hey listen these teams continue to tell these players you know what we don't really value you the way you value yourself and we want we finna bet against you and it's gonna backfire again nah it's gonna backfire in a good way in a good way for George yes but again I don't think he steps foot on that goddamn field without a new deal oh really Absolutely Man his agent ain't finna send him out there And he get hurt and then everything goes down the drain And all his other counterparts Have already gotten their deals Hell no Absolutely not I don't know Listen I said this during the season I said it after the season ended They gonna tag him and they gonna play with him And I don't like And what are they doing?
50:04Playing with him
50:05Chad Johnson:Hey, look, and I don't like when cats sit out the whole entire season and then try to come back a week before the first regular season game because y 'all know that's a disaster waiting to happen. And the male fact is that, look, we ain't even talking about a long-term deal. So you play it on the franchise tag or you're not playing. Now, he could hold out the first 10 games, come back the last seven, and get a credit this season. Nah. Come on, man. I'm just telling you the possibility, Joe. I got to just put it out there for the chat and let y 'all know. Theoretically, in order for him to get a credit for the credited season, he could miss the first 10, play the last seven, and he'd get an accredited season.
50:47But they got two franchise tags. So theoretically, they could franchise him again. That's what they did, Dak. It was when Dak signed when he was going into the second franchise tag. It was the same time that D-Long, when he signed, he was going into the second franchise tag.

58:05Chad Johnson:Whoop. But that thing going right away, you hear me? Tell my ears, cause I used to go over all my homeboys house to hoop, cause they all had gold. Yeah. Once I got mine, it was a wrap, Uncle Ocho. I had the secret sauce on them boys. Damn. Favorite childhood memory. Ooh wee.

59:01Might have been my first bicycle. but I left it behind my grandfather car and he backed over it.
59:11I don't know. It's hard to say because, I mean, when you got something, when you don't have a whole lot, guys, and you get stuff, you damn, you know what I'm saying? It's hard to say. I got a, you know, a smiley face piggy bank. I got a bike. I got a skateboard. Maybe one of those handheld football games. Y 'all guys remember those handheld football games? Yeah, the game board. the Game Boy joint. I probably say that. I probably say that. I remember. Somebody talking about eating pasta. Man, they ain't no doubt favorite childhood memory. And here's our fourth one. Let's take a listen.
59:46Hey, Joe.
59:47Chad Johnson:So I appreciate y 'all answering my question from last night. But Ocho, I'm 37, now I'm 57. So them songs, I don't know what you was doing. Joe, you got it right on the head, baby. I appreciate you. And then my other question was in there With that special lady I got what was that one thing about her that made her different from everybody else And Joe when the Hawks win game six baby trying to go do somebody let's go to magic Let's go have us a floor whatever you want to do, but we don't get to that we don't get to it, man Let's go have some fun dog. Let's go have a spot. I ain't gonna flake like oh, Joe.
1:00:22Chad Johnson:He's talking about none I'm on the way. Are we tipping that we tip and baby? Now what I'm talking about that what I'm talking about. Hey, I told uh i told y 'all what that man wanted to hear hey matter of fact i gotta send over to uh uh my night i got people in my dm they looking for they looking for it man hey i got you i like it hey that second part that second part of that question you asked would made that individual you know different from everybody else that's that's that's a good one hey for me i'll be straight up uh you know i've been a i've been a i've been uh doing hot yoga since 2009 i ain't i ain't dated a girl seriously who who would even try it bro and my lady uh not only did she try but she loved it uh she's a certified instructor pilates instructor she She did it all, Uncle Ocho.
1:01:25Chad Johnson:She did it all. She did that for you. Yeah, but she make it go too though. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah, she make it go. So I'm super appreciative of her, for sure. Man, it was... Just talking. You know, you get a sense. And you look at her and you know, she's not like what you think. Like, oh, boy. Man. Yeah. Remember the Joker? You remember the Joker? Oh, we got a live one here. Woo!
1:02:00But I think the thing, she's the one that told me like, you know you stop breathing when you like, I count your breath. And there are times that you stop breathing and I think you're going too long, I wake you up. I'm like, damn, you do that? She said, yeah. She said, I don't go to sleep until, I don't go to sleep. I watch you to make sure you okay okay you heard you heard
1:02:30Chad Johnson:Ocho what you got shoot man you know all of us we have life and to me I see life as like a puzzle and all through life we always find that person to complete that puzzle to be able to fit the rest of those pieces in so everything is whole at once and when you know you know yeah they really know words that can really describe it it's it's more of a feeling it's more it's more actions as a as opposed to it is words yeah and so it's really based on the individual's action and how they move and you can tell you can tell when something genuine you can tell when something is not especially at this point in life yeah after so much experience then you can also tell when someone is acting and playing the long game you can you can tell the difference with someone jim and when it's not so absolutely it is it's it's been very refreshing it's been very refreshing um some of the things i like everything everything aligns as opposed to have was before you know some of the things that i enjoyed they would pretend they enjoyed yeah you know in the beginning and as time went on it exposed themselves like okay you really didn't like this you just did it because it was something i like you know right right right we like we like the same thing so i mean just everything everything is is is running smooth and and also my home my home i i need peace yep i need peace it's it's chaotic enough around me there's so many different moving parts to life in general and whenever i'm home i I need my effin' piece.
1:04:08Right. And I got that. Facts. And you say, I'm on what you on. Mm. He said, I'm with the its.
1:04:19Chad Johnson:He right with it. I said, you on that masterpiece, you body body? Cause I'm body body. You body body? I'm body body. I'm body body. We body body. Okay. Hey, that's classic. That's what type of time I'm on. here's the fifth one let's take a listen Ocho I saw what it do Ocho you got the best footwork NFL history don't throw that out though but I want all three of y 'all take on this NBA or NFL if you was in today's game would you stay a dominate or would some of the players today expose you know some of your game shut up hey I think I think I definitely, not think, but I definitely still be effective.
1:05:07Chad Johnson:You know, when I first came into the league, Uncle Ocho, guys weren't side-stepping and doing all this. Euro and all. You probably had one dude doing a Euro, and that was Ginobili. Outside of that, guys weren't doing that. You know, the game has evolved. You know what I mean? It's just so many different moves nowadays from the side-step to everything else as far as dribbling and creating space. but the way the floor has opened up now compared to when I first came in and you had traditional two bigs to where it probably was only one power forward shooting threes in the NBA that was Dirk Antoine Walker outside of them there wasn't no other big shooting threes
1:05:56before we go any further Ocho we got breaking news Mike Vrabel to seek counseling and will not be with the Patriots on NFL draft day. Damn. What do you need counseling for? Not a damn thing. Huh? Not a damn thing. Look, I just read what the fag said, guys. I don't know. I'm saying, come on. He said he had some very tough conversations with family members. Very tough conversations, if I'm paraphrasing, with friends, his team, and the organization. I don't know what those tough conversations was. I don't like to get into speculation, conjecture, or innuendo.
1:06:37Chad Johnson:Okay. But he said he needs counseling. You see? Where it might be Ocho and Ocho. They said Tiger needed counseling. Did he need that type of counseling? Uh-huh.
1:06:53I'm just getting word that new pictures hit the internet today. I didn't see it. Look, anything to come up there and they talk about Mike Rabel, I'm going to be honest, guys, I just scroll right on past it. I do. Anything to come up with the young lady, Diana Rossini, I scroll right past it. I'm not interested in it. I'm not. And I understand he's a coach, she's a reporter, she's an insider, and I get the look or the mention of impropriety, but I don't really have anything to do with that man.
1:07:29Chad Johnson:Mm-mm-mm. Mm-mm-mm. Gats to be more careful. Hey, if you see how far those pitches were shot from, somebody paid some money for that. That's all I'm gonna say. Scuba Steve, if your life depended on it, would you rather fight prime Deontay Wilder in boxing or Francis Ngannou in MMA? What's the best draft class ever? My opinion, 2011. It's hard to disagree. It's hard to disagree. They gonna have an ass load of Hall of Famers in that draft class. Yeah, that 2011 was special, boy. Vaughn Miller, J.J. Watt, Julio, Sherm, I mean Cam Hayward, Cam Jordan. Cam. Damn. They're going to have a boatload on him. Who was number one? Cam. Cam, right? Okay. And then Vaughn was number two, Marcel Darius. Then you had Pat P.
1:24:48Pat A. Pat went number seven, I think. No, Pat went like four, five. Four, you in that? AJ. Oh, that's - And then Julio. Damn, that's a hell of a class, boy. Hell of a class, boy. Who's 2017?
1:25:09Yeah, yeah. 2017, you got Miles Garrett, you got Pat Mahomes, you got Cooper Cupp, McCaffrey, TJ Watt. But you look at, think about it. Vaughn Miller, JJ Watt, A.J. Green, Julio Jones, Pat Peterson, Richard Sherman, Cam Hayward, Cam Jordan, Tyron Smith. Those are the first rounders. Sherman was like a second or third rounder. Look at the first round, pull up 2011. That is crazy. They're going to have potential 10 Hall of Famers in one draft class. Damn. Pat P. What Pat P. Went fourth or fifth? Pat P. Went fifth. Who went fourth? AJ Green went fourth. Pat P. Went fifth. Julio went what? Sixth? Sixth.
1:26:10Tyron Smith went nine for the Cowboys. JJ Watt went 11. That's a big boy. Mike Pouncey went 15. Cam Jordan. Cam Hayward.
1:26:25Richard Sherman was in that draft. Damn. Yeah, them boys, that's stacked. That draft was stacked.
1:26:37The Pittsburgh Steelers had the best draft class ever. Their 74 draft had five first rounders. I mean, five Hall of Famers in one draft class. Their first round pick, second round pick, third round pick, fourth round pick, and an undrafted free agent all made the Hall of Fame. Lance Swan Jack Lambert John Stallworth Mike Webster Donnie Shell One draft class Got five Hall of Famers You'll never see that again You're never gonna see that again Ocho Not like that Damn You like 2017 Ask like 2017 tee MC Robinson. Oh, your grandma told you not to look or touch anything at the store. When I was a kid, my grandma used to leave me at checkout with no cash.
1:27:31I'll wait. I will wait for her to there's a line behind me.

Nick, he's telling people these black billionaires are not hidden Trumpers. All that matters is their bank... All these black millionaires are hidden Trumpers. All that matters is their bank account.
1:28:41Hold on.
1:28:42Chad Johnson:What are you talking about? He was trying to say these black millionaires are hidden Trumpers. All that matters is their bank account. Nah.
1:28:56I mean hold on all that matters to the bank account so are they are they supposed to lose never mind if that was the case I mean I think there's a lot of black millionaires that vote the other way are they some that vote for Trump yeah you know my grandfather always say son vote for the man that's best suited for you. But I can't in good conscience have this while so many other people suffer. Yeah, I have. But I think and I try to do what I can to help those that are less fortunate. Maybe that's why I've been blessed. But to each his own. I don't tell a man how to vote because I don't know what his situation is.
1:29:50But you vote how you vote. Jack Buz, big three. When did you realize the 9-to-5 wasn't for y 'all? Well, I ain't never had no 9-to-5. I had a 7-to-7. And I realized at a very young age because I had that job at about five or six years of age. Who wants to work a job where you don't have medical, You don't have time off because you work a job that if you didn't work, you didn't get paid. I never had a job, you know, guys, where if I worked, I still got – if I didn't work, I still got paid.
1:30:27Chad Johnson:Right. Hell, I remember that for the first time in her PTO. I was like, what the hell is PTO? I know what a PTO was in the field that's, you know, power transfer. So – but I was like, PTO, that's like paid time off. I was like, what? If I don't come to work, I still get paid? Hell in football, yeah, during the season. Once the season, you ain't no more checks coming in unless you had your salary spread out over the entirety of the year. Right. But I knew, hell nah, I couldn't work for that. Hey, working at that damn UPS, unloading and loading them big-ass trucks. I told you I worked a graveyard shift and I could see all them men in there with them back braces on.
1:31:09Yeah, yeah.
1:31:10Chad Johnson:They tell my man, you need to get you a back brace. Man, I'm 17 years old. Here you tell my man, I ain't finna be working here long. I ain't been here long enough to do my back to hurt. Shit. Yeah, you see all them old men, how they all out there? Like, nah. Medical, you get something wrong with you, you can't go to the doctor. You can't. Nah, hell nah, that wasn't for me. I needed money. Working a nine to five wasn't going to do, you wasn't going to change anything in Mary Porter's life. That's what I realized. It wasn't a job. I realized that the money that I was making doing what I was doing was not going to change Mary Porter's life.
1:31:43As a matter of fact, I was going to be the exact same situation. The only thing probably going to be different, I was going to have indoor plumbing. No, I'm sorry, guys. Trey Carter, don't listen to Ocho and Iso. That pepper and Clydeback, the same go Papa Vane. Come on, Ocho. See, he know Papa Vane. You see what I'm saying? See, he know, he must have tried it, okay? Tell you.
1:32:11Chad Johnson:Man, you put salt on snails. Hey, nah, listen to me, Joe. I'm trying to, listen. Joe, listen to me. Just try it one time. Put salt and pepper on the bed. All right. Unk, you know I know better. Almighty James, Unk, you choose him as your co-host. Yeah, but he still, yeah, I mean, hey. He still need help.
1:32:38Chad Johnson:That boy need more than some help. Who need help, me? Yeah, yeah. Oh, nah, I'm good, I'm good. I don't need no help, man. Hey, that's what a drunk person say when you tell him, Hey, man, drunk needs some - Hey, that's the thing, I don't drink, Joe. I don't drink. No, he said - He used it as an analogy. That's what a drunk person says, I don't need no help. Yeah. That's what most people say. Yeah, but I don't need - They don't need help when in actuality, they need help. And there you go. Yeah. Nah. No, y 'all need to live a little bit. I don't need no help. I'm on the right side of the track. Not.
1:33:13Hey, J-Ski said, hey, Goats, can you wish me and my daughter, Jaleesa, get a happy birthday? We're 24 years apart, but now my birthday is her day. And there's some bull jive to chat, bro. He was still like, I love you guys and thanks. Yes, happy birthday, J-Ski, to you and Jaleesa. Happy birthday. Happy 48 to you. Happy 24th to her. Hope you guys celebrated. Hope you guys did something fun. What does father and daughter do on a birthday? You take them out to eat, have a good time, maybe check out a movie. Hey, just talk. Tell her how special she is, how proud you are to have her as a daughter.
1:33:53Jaleesa, tell him how proud you are to have him as a father. You wouldn't have it any other way. Kyle Simpson, listen. money ain't everything, but it ranks up there with oxygen, and the Grizzlies leave Memphis is about the Dr. King situation in the city. Man, Bron, that's what your space jail movie was trash. Y 'all still got Graceland, y 'all got FedEx, you got the Civil Rights Museum, the Lorraine Hotel.
1:34:26Had LeBron not said anything, it's just a matter of time. It's all about money, guys. It's all about money. Yeah. Mickey entertained. If a blind person goes to a wake, is it still a viewing?
1:34:44Lady Ray said, hey guys, I got a joke for y 'all. What's the difference between a black eyed pea and chickpeas? Black eyed peas can sing a song. Chickpeas can only hummus one. Hummus one. I like that, I like that lady. Samuel Akim 18. Dang, y 'all couldn't even wait for the Thunder game to end. That's crazy work, aren't you? Thoughts on Jalen Williams' left hamming injury.
1:35:13Chad Johnson:Jalen Williams for OKC? He hurt his hamstring? Yep, that's what they say. Damn. Do I? I'm trying to think. Can they win a championship without him? I don't think they can. I don't think they can. You don't think so? I don't know if anybody in the West without Wemby and San Antonio and without Luka and AR coming back, I think they have enough even in the West. Can they beat Boston? I don't think they can beat Boston. Not without him. That's just me. I could be wrong, Joe. What you think? It's going to be hard to beat Boston without them, without me, without Jalen. I agree with you on that. But I think to get through the Western Conference, maybe, maybe they can beat the Spurs, but I don't even know if they can beat without Jalen.
1:36:16I don't think they can beat the Spurs without – if the Spurs get Wimby back, I don't think OKC – I don't think OKC can beat the Spurs without him.
1:36:26Chad Johnson:Oh, yeah. Well, Spurs would get them – Wimby coming back in this series. It may not be game three, but he damn sure going to be back game four. Because he had it going. I mean, he was 19 points. He had 7-11, 2-3. He had plus 17 in only 23 minutes. So, Tay-Tay Ocho, 20. Never ate in front or back. Never will. My people tell me I'll be single forever. I don't ask for anything. I don't give. Thoughts. What? He said he don't be asking for that, so he ain't trying to do that. Right. I'm gonna ask. He don't be asking for what? He don't be asking about the grocery. Nah, he said he don't do that. So if they say he don't do that, he don't get that, he cool with it.
1:37:16Yeah. Yeah, that's on him. That's fine. I'm a, hey, I want my FedEx Amazon next day.
1:37:28don't worry about it y 'all say why is Ocho hating on Dallas franchise tagging pickings but when the bingo did the exact same thing to T a year ago he was all for it Ocho that's a question come on now I was not for it what do you talk about I say the same thing I'm never for it I'm never for franchise tag period because they force you to better yourself and if you get hurt you're not getting the money you deserve
1:37:53Chad Johnson:What happened to T Higgins? Did he get hurt? Nah. Did he get his money? You don't want to take that chance. Did he get his money? You don't want to take that chance. Did he get his money? You heard what I said, Joe. Don't piss me off. Did the man get his money? The only player I can think about who got hurt and got their money was who, Ocho? Dak. Quarterback Dak. That's it. In skilled position, they not giving you money. What's something most people misunderstood? Hey, see Joe, Joe just wanted to play on the franchise tag. He just cared about his fandom to the Cowboys. He don't care nothing about George picking security, long-term security.
1:38:34See how the fans do you? They don't care nothing about the player. They just want to make sure he play and put on that goddamn helmet with that stone. He going to get his money, Ojo? Nah, nah. I told your owner was going to play with him when the season was going on. I knew they were going to pull his bull drive. I'm sick of this shit. Pick it to the Raiders. Nick of the Jefferson says, what's something most people misunderstand about you? And can you make a post with different mixes and concoctions with your LaPortier? Absolutely. We actually have some where we have a determination, we have discipline, we have dedication.
1:39:16You can do a sidecar. Yeah, there are numerous things that you can do with the LaPortier. So just go to LaPortier.com and look up some of the ingredients. But we have a Mary Porter. We have a lot of – we have probably about eight, nine, ten different concoctions you can make. What is something most people misunderstand about you, Joe?
1:39:39Chad Johnson:Misunderstanding about me? It's probably that I'm quiet. I'm reserved. But, you know, I get to know you. You get to know me. I open up a little bit. You feel me? You can't talk too that much now. Oh man, come on, come on. You see how I'm saying Ocho C? I mean, I'm living with damn. He's like, Ocho C, I told you, I told you. Hey, hey, I knew I had to beat y 'all at y 'all own game, fellas. You know, that's all it was. If I beat y 'all at y 'all own game, I got y 'all ass. Got y 'all ass, got y 'all ass. What's misunderstood about you, Ocho? Ain't nothing misunderstood about me, huh? Yeah, open book.
1:40:24Hey, Joe, it's never misunderstanding because I'm very open. I'm very direct. So there's really no gray area. What you see is what you get. Hey, Joe, when I was on the field, was I not crazy? Yeah, yeah. When I'm on this show, am I not crazy?
1:40:37Chad Johnson:Yeah, yeah. Ain't nothing changed. So it's really nothing to misunderstand. You know what? I mean, it's just what you see is what you get. Well, I think over the past couple weeks, they probably learned a lot about you, though. You know, the past. A lot more. What have they learned that they can't... Yeah, you know. What have they learned that they couldn't have Googled and just pulled up on YouTube? They couldn't Google that up. And that you like to toot it up? Toot it who? You like to toot it up? You talking about a toot it from IHOP? I like that meme. That fresh and fruity, fruity toot it? That Rudy toot it fresh and fruity?
1:41:12Yeah, yeah, they know you like to toot it.
1:41:15Chad Johnson:Yeah. Hey, see, you see when it come to certain things, right? Y 'all say everything I say is a lie, but all of a sudden everybody believe this. Yeah. It ain't far-fetched. They can see it. They can see it. I mean, hey, listen, if it ain't far-fetched, y 'all better make sure everything I say, y 'all believe that too.
1:41:37What'd they get wrong? Hell, they get everything wrong about me. What I like, he like this. He ain't never been with no girl. I saw he ain't never been with nobody over 140. He ain't do this, he like this, he like that. They swear they know everything about me. How do y 'all know so much about me? Well, y 'all never seen me. I'm just trying to figure it out. Help me understand. How do y 'all know so much? What I like, what I like in women.
1:42:09Chad Johnson:They paying attention.
1:42:14They think they know. They have no idea. They ain't, oh, you be talking. there he ain't never did this he ain't never did that good keep and i agree with you ocho like when i say i ain't there so i live like that they don't believe that
1:42:32but somebody else say something about me they believe that so you don't believe the person that actually that actually lived the experience you don't believe that but somebody that's not You said person that's Indian, you bleed at. Yeah. I'm just trying to figure out, how did that work? But okay, it's good.
1:43:01Boomer GSX, what's up, Ocho? Iso, can you wish my nephew Jalen Davis good luck on running for Mr. 22nd, Mr. Wilberforce University? Absolutely. Jalen, good luck. Good luck, brother. Good luck, brother. Wish you all the best. Last one, Papi Ray said, Ocho, put me on the game with a dial up, cranberry bar soap a few months ago. That is hard to find. Yeah. Hey, don't buy it all up now, because I'm still be looking for it.
1:43:36Chad Johnson:What is it, a cranberry bar soap? Yeah, bar soap, dialed cranberry soap. You still use bar soap? Yes, I always use bar soap. I use some from time to time. I use a little bar soap from time to time. I can't stand seeing your pubic hairs on there. I'm good.
1:43:56Even though you know I wax, so I'm straight.
1:44:01Chad Johnson:Hey, back in the day, back in the day, you used to use that bar soap till it got all the way down. All the way down, Joe. Hey, well, you couldn't even use a goddamn You had to put it in your hand. That thing was size of a quarter.
1:44:19Yeah, well, you know, I'm like a Finks. I'm hairless.
1:44:25Chad Johnson:Well, you go get a board in the morning, 8.30. When you go on. The laser joiner, you just go get waxed. My girl, Savannah, gonna take care of it. Damn. Okay, there we go, Unc. There you go. Hey, hold up. You get the whole shebang? All the way. Okay, okay. I like that. They do the little ending happy? No, I don't fool around like that. Oh, okay. I'm just, my bad. I ain't know what kind of services they provided. No, waxing. That sounds cool. I like that. Nose, eyebrows, ears, and then from neck down. Okay, okay. I'm going to try that. Oh, God have mercy.
