2:35Shannon Sharpe:CarMax. The Mystics beat the Lynx 84-79, but our girl Olivia Miles finished with 22 points, 6 assists. Despite the loss, she got high praise for KG. Olivia Miles is one of the best rookies in all of basketball, NBA or WNBA. Olivia Miles is averaging 18.3 points a game, five rebounds, almost six assists over 16 games, shooting 54 % from the field while powering the Lynx to a 13-4 record without Nafisha Collier. She's the fastest WNBA rookie to reach 300 points and 75 rebounds and 75 assists. She's special, man. She got wiggled, Joe. She got wiggled like a guy. And I think that's the greatest compliment you can pay a young lady.
3:20Shannon Sharpe:Because you watch her and you watch out the fluidity in which she moves, that's not a woman's basketball player. That is a guy. She grew up playing against guys. She had to to be able to move like this. She can stop on the dime. She gets you leaning one way. She got them subtle hitches in her game. She really can play, bro. When you watch somebody, it's like even in a combine setting, you probably wouldn't see a whole lot. But once you put them out there on the court and watch them play five on five, playing live action and how they read and react, that's her. She can read and react to pick and roll great.
3:59Shannon Sharpe:She's great in isolation. And, man, she killing the WNBA. She fun to watch. She's special. Man. I'm surprised. I mean, the Mystics aren't that good. I mean, Sonja Citron, she can play. But they have, you know, they're eight and seven. Yeah. They're 500 coming into the ballgame. The Lynx are 13-4, playing very good. They got a nice guy, Natasha Howard, Kayla McBride, obviously Olivia Miles. They might as well just go ahead and hand her the rookie of the year. And guess what? Yeah, absolutely. She's going to be an all-NBA, all-NBA, WNBA player. An all-NBA player in a rookie season. I can see that.
4:39Shannon Sharpe:They keep winning. I know they lost today, but they keep winning. Okay, Ocho. Oh, yeah, no question. You know, they reward you for that any damn way. Yeah. And you can play too? She can flat out play, man. She just, hey, the way she move, I just like, hey, and she be talking cash. She do, bro. You can't effing guard me.
5:06Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, she can go. She can go. You can't guard me? She can go. They can't. Hey, you be doing it. You be doing it to her, and I love it. But like I said, she's unbelievable.
5:23Shannon Sharpe:Nekka Agumake hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Los Angeles Sparks to a 98-97 victory over the New York Liberty on Sunday night in the anniversary of the league's first game that featured the same two teams. The Sparks, who lost the inaugural game to the Liberty in 1997, trailed by 17 points in the third quarter, rallying behind Agumake's, who finished with 24 points. On the final play, Erica Wheeler drove and passed it out to Agumake, who calmly sank a three-point shot just before the buzzer from the wing. Agumake had 12 of her points in the final three minutes and 50 seconds of the ballgame.
6:05Shannon Sharpe:Hey, hey, she can play too, boy. She still can play because, you know, Nneka been in the game. She's a former MVP. and we touched on it a little bit earlier, Joe. I don't think she's ever made the U.S. women's team to go play in the Olympics. Oh, okay. And so I'm sure she still feels some type of way about that, and rightfully so. But Stewie for the Liberty had 18. Zabali had 14. Jean-Claude Jones had 18. Inescu still coming back, nursing off that surgery. But they got, what, 30, 32 points from their bench? Yeah. But Aguma K, 24. Dorica Hamby, 12. Erica Wheeler, 15. Kelsey Plum, she had a coming off of a bad injury.
6:53Shannon Sharpe:Plum is. Atkins had 10. And Ray Burrell had 19. I thought this – I was like, ain't no way they winning this game. I'm not so sure how they did it, Joe. I don't need – I didn't get to see this game. It was a good one, huh? It was a good game because, like I said, that had this big-ass lead, and so I'm just thinking, okay. And the next thing I know, I come downstairs and ask me, well, this is a great game. It's only a two-point game. I say, two-point game? Mm, and the second half killed them. Yes. That second half, because New York obviously had a pretty decent lead in that first half. That second half, the spark.
7:31Shannon Sharpe:Got back in. I'm trying to figure out the Liberty, though. I mean, you got Stewart. You got Sabali. You got Jean-Quil Jones. I mean, they got a big team. They do, bro. and they got a bunch of girls who go. And, you know, Jonquil Jones has been an MVP. Stewie has been a two-time MVP. Jones was the Finals MVP a couple years ago. Yeah. They got a really good team. I think, still, Anescu, she's got to get back into the swing of things. Yeah, she get back into that rhythm. It's going to take them to another level because they've been playing great ball. Yeah. Jackie Young scored 21 points and Asia Wilson added 19 points, 9 rebounds to help the Aces cruise to a 92-73 victory over the Golden State Valkyries.
8:15Shannon Sharpe:Young did not have a turnover and made 9-12 shots with 3 three-pointers. She handed out 5 assists to pass Becky Hammond second place all-time on the Aces all-time list with 1 ,136. Trailing only 1 ,179 from Chelsea Gray who picked up 9 assists to go with 15 points. Nalisa Smith, a reserve, Jewel Lloyd, both scored 14 for the Aces, who have won eight of their last nine. Hey, when them guards playing great for them Aces, Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray, you ain't beating them. When they play good, I'm talking about both of them playing good, you ain't beating them because Aces are going to be consistent.
8:54Shannon Sharpe:And they ain't got Kennedy Carter, who was going to be the sixth woman of the year. She was playing out of her mind. What happened? She got hurt? Yeah. Nothing serious, right? I think it was her ankle, Kennedy Carter. I think it was her ankle, Joe. I'm not sure. But Asia, 7 to 13, you know, she just light work. Plus 27. Plus 27. They handled it. But she's the front runner for the MVP. Asia? Mm-hmm. Yeah, she's going to be there every year as long as they – I mean, they've been playing great ball too, 12 and 4. As long as they playing great ball. She's going to say it's left leg and hip for Kennedy Carter.
9:37Shannon Sharpe:Okay. Look, I think don't they play the Liberty? The Aces play the Liberty for the Commissioner's Cup, right? I think that's who. Oh, that's going to be a good one. Very.
9:56Shannon Sharpe:But like you said, Joe, when Chelsea Gray and Jackie Young playing, because you already know what you're going to get with Asia. Yep. She's going to be somewhere. I mean, she didn't really need it. She only took 13 shots tonight. Yeah. Excuse me. But when she gets up in that 18-shot mark and she's going to make 12 of those, she's going to be somewhere around 22 to 28 points a night, going to probably give you double-digit rebounds on a nightly basis. Yep. She's just an animal. I mean, she's so smooth. She's left-handed. She's added a three, even though she missed all her threes today. But she's cashing in.
10:35Shannon Sharpe:I think she might be shooting like 90-plus percent from the free throw line. Oh, yeah. She's added that three ball, even though she was 0-2 today. But she's so – hey, she got a nice minute, Joe. She's putting the ball on the floor and get all the way to the rim. She'll pump up and under you. She's just phenomenal. I think when you watch girls play, I got Ocho. Ocho, you know, the girls, they're very technical in the things that they do. Yeah. You know, like as far as guys, we going to swag it out. You feel me? We going to be shooting. We allow that medicism. They ain't jumping. They ain't jumping.
11:07Shannon Sharpe:They ain't got no 40-inch verticals. So they ain't got them verticals. That's why they so technical and fundamentally sound. And boy, that's how Asia, she know how to use her body. She know how to use them shot fakes, them step-throughs. It's hard to hell even contain at times. She always going to be in the MVP conversation, huh? Always. You know what, Joe? She might be in a situation where she lead the WMA. She might have seven MVPs, seven, eight MVPs. Oh, yeah, I can see that. She might be like Gretzky because Gretzky got nine heart trophies. Damn. Barnes got seven. You know, Kareem got six.
11:45Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Peyton Manning got five. I can see her getting seven to eight MVPs. Yeah, I can see that too, man. The way she's going to dominate, I mean, every year she's going to be a mismatch. And her teams are going to be good. Yep. So she's going to win enough games, and her stats are going to warrant it. Yep. And guess what? They're adding more games. She might be in a situation because she's the first WNBA player to have 1 ,000 points in the season. You're right. They're going to play 50 games, I think, starting in 27, and they can go all the way up to 52. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. So it's similar to football.
12:21Shannon Sharpe:When they first started out, how many games, y 'all, they were playing? 12, 14 games? Well, you can play 12, and then it went to 14, then to 16, and eventually they're 17 now, eventually they're going to go to 18. So all the records held previously, they're always going to get broken. Hell, they're adding more games. Yep. Yeah. Yep. All right, it's time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q and A.
12:52Shannon Sharpe:Before we get to our super chat, we've got four video voicemail from our discord. Let's take a listen to the first one. Ocho, Iso. I just want to take some time to wish y 'all a happy Father's Day. Me personally, I'm celebrating my ninth one. So just y 'all continue to do great things. 13:32Shannon Sharpe:you ain't get no gifts? daddy what we get you you got everything I say more of everything that's what you get somebody that got everything more of that absolutely Absolutely. Right. Absolutely. Hey, Joe, they tried... Uncle Joe, they tried to take me out. I flew in from Petaluma. I went to Ryan's wedding. So I flew out last night, but I didn't get home till this morning. I told him, man, listen, y 'all know how I am when it comes to holiday. When it comes to Christmas and Father's Day, and I'm not celebrating nothing. You can bring me some coffee, bring me a cigar or something, and I'm good. We want to take you to dinner.
14:08I say, nope. We ain't doing that because I'm probably going to have to be the one to pay the bill. I'm good. Oh, they're going to go. Let daddy relax. I'm good. I don't need nothing. I appreciate the Father's Days. That's another one.
14:21Shannon Sharpe:Tell my daddy, what you going to order? You ain't going to order that expensive steak, are you? Absolutely. What you mean? How you going to take me to Father's Day and then tell me, put me on a budget? Hey, what you want, huh? Hey, y 'all know I got that expensive steak. Yep. And I'm going to get dessert. Yep. And I'm going to get me an appetizer. that's what you supposed to do with somebody else's pay yeah it's about to say if you ain't gonna go to dinner with us at least let us take you out tonight I say I'm gonna think about it it depends on how I'm feeling when the show ends if I feel good when the show ends what you mean where they gonna take you what they say they gonna take you take me somewhere man they take me somewhere that's the only thing no I'm talking about nah they wanna take me out They want to go out, out.
15:10Yeah, yeah, like a little outing. It depends on how I'm feeling.
15:13Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay. Nah, I tell them, no. Y 'all want to budget me, but when we go, I take y 'all out for y 'all birthday. Y 'all be worried about that, and y 'all be taking stuff home.
15:27Shannon Sharpe:Daddy, can I get something to take home? You know, I won't have to cook. Right. I thought it was your birthday. Today, it is today. What you eating? A whole new steak tomorrow for. Oh, yeah, they go stretching now. Oh, man. Oh, yeah. All right, let's take a listen to our second one.
15:49What's up, Nightcap fam? Unk, Ocho, and still, King, I so love the show. Been a subscriber since the beginning, so it's been amazing to see how much the show has grown. Joe, my parents would bring me to Hawks games all the time growing up, so I've been a fan of yours for a very long time. The question is, when are you all bringing the live show to Nashville? We would love to see you all down here, and I promise it's not as dangerous as Houston. Love the show.
16:16Shannon Sharpe:Damn.
16:22Shannon Sharpe:We actually really haven't thought about it, having a live show in Nashville. But we're definitely going to give that some thought. I think 27, I mean, we might do a couple of stops. This year we got some stuff brewing. I don't want to mention it. I don't want to jinx it. Right, right, right. We got a couple things brewing probably fall, probably around September. So keep on the lookout. We're going to keep you updated. We'll let you know something as we get closer, probably around July. We should know something end of July, early August. We should know something. So I think you'll be very, very excited about that.
17:02Shannon Sharpe:As far as what Ocho and I did when we first started touring, I think 27, now that we got everything, you know, Joe integrated and taking it on the road, I think 27 is probably the most realistic chance. Obviously, Atlanta will be back on the stop. Houston probably touched Philly, Detroit. Huh? Woo! Oh, yeah, we're going to be in Fanatics Fest. We'll be in New York in July for Fanatics Fest. Hey, hey, hey. As long as Ocho, I'm coming with 14-ounce gloves just to kind of let you know what I'm going to have. So, uh... Hey, hey, hey, hey. July 18th. That's going to be messed up. July 18th. What's going to be messed up?
17:50Hey, hey, Joe. I mean, the fact that you're going to be on the show locked up.
17:53Shannon Sharpe:Well, no, we got to get our friendly fade in because I just feel like... You ain't hear me. That mean you're going to be on the show and the people are going to see your face lumped up. That's the last thing I'm worried about, partner. That's all I'm saying. I know. Joe, I don't want you to worry, Joe. I'm not. I'm not. Yeah. Okay. Good. I'm Gucci. I'm Gucci. I mean, normally it's 10 ounces. Normally it's 10. Well, damn, he got to work. You know, I ain't trying to. You're using workout gloves. Yeah, I ain't. Hey, Joe, we can wear 10s. Bring 10s. I don't want to really mess you up. I just want you to know to stop playing with me.
18:31Shannon Sharpe:That's what you're going to know. You know what I mean? So I know you should. Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe. This is what you don't understand. If you were to beat me, you would have to fight me every day until you got out of this. Oh, hell, ain't no problem. Ain't no problem. If you plan on taking that many asses, I got you. You want somebody here, Joe? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You need to make sure Ocho got him up there. Hey, Joe, I got a whole garage full of stuff. Go on and put him in your suitcase right now. Joe, I'm good. I got 20 out. I got 20, 16s. I got 12s and 10s. You know, 20s, Ochoa, them workout gloves, anything over 12.
19:08Hey, well, let me tell you something. I got a background in combat sports. Man don't know what I got.
19:12Shannon Sharpe:That's the one I'm trying to tell you. Man, you don't underestimate you, Ochoa. That man don't know how I train. Damn, Ochoa. I don't care. Your trainer ain't going to prepare you for what you're going to have to see. I'm a whole gorilla over here. What is you talking about? Oh, who? Damn. Can't nobody know Gorilla? He's a silverback at that. Can't nobody know Gorilla? Not no chimpanzee, no orangutan. I don't know how y 'all going to get me off this. No spider monkey. I don't know how you going to get me off this, boy. I'm telling you, boy. Hey. No barnaboo? Hey, they ain't going to have to get you off because you ain't going to make it.
19:45You ain't going to make it. You ain't going to make a pad 30 seconds, yo.
19:48Shannon Sharpe:30 seconds? Huh? I mean, the bell go ding. I mean, y 'all tapping gloves when y 'all come to the center? Y 'all tapping gloves or what? I ain't tapping shit. I'm tapping shit. Man, got a cataract in the right eye. I'm going to do some damage on that left one. Oh, you going to have that bad looking like Jabura? Man, look. Hey, y 'all ain't going to really know because he always wear them damn shades, but his ass going to be lumped up under there. Hey, hey. You talking about this cataract, right? My eye has been like this since 1993. All right. And you see how I function all this time, right? All right.

23:42He can't get through any of that and he gonna know. It's one thing to see him do all that talking. It's one thing to do all that talking here on the show, but then in person when you see me square up and you see, oh shoot, it's real. It's a different moment.
23:58Shannon Sharpe:He's tough as hell behind this camera boy. Yeah, oh. I'm like this in person, Joe. I'm like, you should have saw me on the field, Joe. I'm like this in person. Man, that boy tough behind the camera. Mm-mm. Joe say, hey, Joe say, don't worry about his leg though. Joe say, don't worry about that leg. You ain't got to worry about none of that. Hey, I'm going to kick him in his leg too. How you boxing and kicking people? Hey, where you stitched up at? Ain't no woo. We street fighting. You bite, you scratch, kick. You do everything. Hey, kicking right in that leg. Hey, you stitched up? You got stitches.
24:38Man, I can play right now.
24:41Shannon Sharpe:I'll let you think I can't do. Ocho don't sleep on me, boy. Oh, he underestimating you, Ocho. You might not make it. That's what he is? That's his first mistake. He might not play in 2027. Damn, Ocho. The man saying he'll keep you out for another year. At that point in time, Joe, it's just time to just let it go then because you missed it. You know, you played with TJ last year, none this year. Oh, oh, oh, you jumping the gun now. Slow down, Ocho. Ocho say you not gonna play, he about to put you out there. Damn what Ocho talk about. Ocho ain't talking about nothing. Yeah. Damn. Don't get a little ass whooped.
25:15Shannon Sharpe:That's all it gonna happen. Hey, hey, hey, Joe, I know you scared. I can tell by your voice, your voice cracking. You scared. Damn. Hey, you scared. Hey, hey, hey, when I hit him about three, four times before he even realized he got hit. You were catching with a check hook? Hey, Joe, this shit gonna be overwhelming. Ocho, what you do, what you looking to do? you counter Ocho said he'll counter punch it Joe so he look at no I ain't gonna counter Joe I ain't gonna counter I ain't gonna counter because he don't have no skills to be able to throw in between punches man I'm coming at every combination three and four combinations man that damn jab gonna have his little ass back on the ground what what hey Joe I'm blocking all of that Joe I'm coming through there Ocho Ocho your reflex ain't like that Ocho that's what I want you to think Joe I want you to think Joe I'm going to power slap you with the palm and I'm going to do it twice I'm going to salt pep him I'm going to bring it here and I'm going to bring it there damn hey boy I didn't know you did stand up I didn't know you were a comedian whoever leads that's in charge of the fight whoever leads in charge of the fight I ain't got nothing else to say I promise you when that man see me it is on site and you just said you ain't got nothing to say but you're still talking make up your mind Joseph you done with it right let's take a listen to our third one
26:50Ocho and still champion of the world I sold you yes sir hey Kirsten do you think they will Joe's you think they were ever repeal back those aprons and so you're hurting all teams like the Lakers that family business have to sell because of the apron they couldn't keep up and the small market teams keep hurting themselves like the first collective bargaining where they put in penalties broke up Oklahoma now it's breaking up gonna break up OKC and he's gonna break up Boston because these aprons are hurting it's right the big market teams they're hurting themselves too and I think bird rights should extend to if I draft four Kobe Bryant's, I should be able to sign all four of my Kobe Bryant's without going into the 8th ring.
27:34What do you think?
27:35Shannon Sharpe:That ain't going to happen. They do not want another Golden State. They don't want another Miami Heat. I'm not going to let that happen. You can do it, but you see what Boston did. Boston is going to break this thing up. You saw, they got rid of Holiday. They got rid of Prazinga. They let Horford go. They're going to probably end up trading. They're going to end up trading. Are they going to keep Derrick White? I don't know. I don't know. But I just know this. They want you to have two, but they're not going to let you have three. Nope. And they're definitely not going to let you have what Golden State have with Steph, Klay, Draymond, and KD.
28:14Shannon Sharpe:That's not going to happen again. Now, if you want to spend$300 million,$400 million, they'll gladly accept it because them owners are like, please go on in that apron. Please, please, please. Yeah, no more. I just don't see it. No more super teams, man. Hey, you're going to have to find a way. That's why you're going to have to draft well. You're going to have to have guys on these comparable salaries that make sense. Because to have all these max guys, they ain't having that. Nope. That's over with. And you're right. That's why they did it. The bird rights. It's kind of like Ocho franchise tag.
28:52Shannon Sharpe:You get two franchise. I'm thinking what? You get two franchise tags and a transition. Yeah. even though people don't really use the transition tag. I don't know the last time a team used two franchise tags, but you want to keep your guys. And it used to be you could sign, I think the bird right wasn't it, Joe? You could sign a bird right player to as much, and it didn't count against the cap? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it was like, I think that was it. I think that was it. But hell, I don't think you can have no more than, what, one guy with your bird rights? I think so, yes. Yeah. So, yeah, OKC got three in that apron.
29:31Shannon Sharpe:And you see they had to get off Wiggins because they was about to be 212. Now they 152. Teams don't want to spend – hold on. I'm spending all this money. I'm paying Shade's making 50 a year. What's it called making 40 a year? Chet's making 40 a year. Then I got 20 here, and I got 19 there. And then you want me to spend 200 million on top of that? Woo! No. No. Yeah. But that's how it's operating. I mean, if you look at it more times than not, you see businesses starting to, or guys that's making, you get a bomb, a Steve Ballmer, he's worth$150 billion. Dude. The mom and pops, it's the same thing with the NFL.
30:16Shannon Sharpe:They're getting priced out. Yeah. It's hard. You see, if I'm not mistaken, I think Vegas just sold a huge percentage. The value is high. You see the Giants, if I'm not mistaken, the Giants just sold 10 % for a billion dollars. It's getting harder and harder for mom and pop stores to remain solvent. These big restaurants, they do the same thing. Mom and pop give you a nice, good, solid meal. you know what I'm saying guys whether it's Italian or soul food or whatever case and then yeah big shots just take it over yeah let's take a listen to our fourth and final one Hey Cap, Unk, Ocho, Aiso, man Ocho be outside man y 'all need to get a camera on him anyway if LeBron goes anywhere besides the Cavs I think the media is going to be all against him is it time for him to go ahead and retire and focus on ownership appreciate you guys love the show peace well honestly Uncle Joe I mean the media is always on in regards to where he is he's used to that it's been this way obviously since he came out of high school so I think stuff like that especially when it comes to the media he's been able to weather that storm I don't think that doesn't change anything he still wants to play he does and most of the time guys retire when they can't find a suitor or they can't just play anymore.
31:51Shannon Sharpe:That's when they look at it. If Jordan felt he could still play, Jordan wasn't going to retire because he still had the passion. Kobe, he said, my body broke down. He said, I can't do it anymore. LeBron still believes he can do it. His body says, look, he got hurt last year, but other than that, he missed what, 17, 18 games? Other than that, he just didn't play back-to-backs. But he was relatively healthy. Yeah. And when you're averaging 27 and 8, it's just hard to say, you know, go take a seat. It just is, guys. You're absolutely right. I don't see him retiring no time soon, meaning within the next two years.
32:30Shannon Sharpe:I think he's going to play at least another two years, Uncle Ocho, at least. I think he's going to get 25 too, Joe. Yeah. I think he – because, you know, he's still playing at a high level. Outside of him missing them first, you know, 15 games of the season, man. I mean, yeah, he playing high-level basketball still. He's still doing something that we've never seen at 41 years old. I think he going to continue to defeat the odds and continue to prove people wrong. Yeah, I think he— You saw him. Go ahead, Joe. Go ahead, Peter. I think he enjoys, you know, he enjoys the seat where he's at, meaning, like, every bucket is in the history books, him having the lead.
33:05Shannon Sharpe:I'm telling y 'all, man, Bron is—not only is he great, but he's going to be selfish enough to try and put this thing so far out of reach, fellas. We thought we wouldn't see nobody catch Kareem. Nope. Definitely think anybody could play long enough or play at a level high enough. There you go. Because you're looking at Vince. Vince played 22 seasons, wasn't close. Robert Parris played 20-plus years. Kevin Willis played 20-plus years. Yeah. Dirk played 20-plus years. Nobody is a – Kareem, it took LeBron 40 years to break this record. Y 'all do realize Kareem broke this record right here in Las Vegas at Thomas and Mack against the Utah Jazz in 1984.
33:54Shannon Sharpe:It took... Ain't nobody breaking that record. Nobody's going to get it. Nobody's going to play long enough. Nobody is going to be healthy enough to play long enough to score that consistent number of points to be able to do that. Nope. Yes.
34:14So he's going to try to put it out there for –
34:20Shannon Sharpe:he's going to try to put it out there. Oh, yeah. He's going to try to put it – what's he at, 41 ,000, 42 ,000? I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to get to 44, 45. Yeah. He's like, if you get me at 45, ain't nothing I can do. And here's the thing. If they talking about shorting the game, if they take 10 games off, ain't nobody ever going to break it. Oh, no, no. They ain't taking no damn 10 games off, though. You know, everybody told me they need to shorten the season. Y 'all don't want to shorten the money, though. The only thing ain't finna let y 'all shorten the season and keep the money the same.
34:55Shannon Sharpe:Hello. Hello. It's like, hey, you work an hourly job and say, you know what, I want to work six hours instead of eight to ten, but I want to wait eight to ten pay. Man, that bogo's and say, man, you don't get your ass out of here? You don't tell me like Dollar Bill told Blue Blue? You don't make me raise up. Trouble, trouble. I ain't trying to hustle you or nothing I ain't rating no G's I mean who you think you is Kid Capri Jimmy Walker or you funny man so nah but like I said Joe I mean somebody look the scoring is up but you're going to have to keep this pace up for 15 years long time 15 years you can't get hurt Nope.
35:44Got to be consistent.
35:46Shannon Sharpe:I don't see it happening now. I don't either.
35:53Shannon Sharpe:Conor Burton training. Favorite three Michael Jackson songs? Oh, man. Man, that's a good one. Man. You got Off The Wall. I think for me, I like Earth Song.
36:14Shannon Sharpe:You gotta have Smooth Criminal in there. You like Smooth Criminal? Yeah. I like Dirty Diet. I mean, I like the one with the guitar. When they on them guitar, they on the guitar, man. Yeah. He just got so many damn hits. He does, man. Like two - Classic hits though. Do you remember the time? I'ma go Earth Song.
36:41Shannon Sharpe:You know a song that slept on that doesn't get a whole lot of play, but it's really good. It was on, you are the lady of my life.
36:51Shannon Sharpe:You are the lady of my life. Hey, remember, remember Butterfly? Yeah. The movie? No, Butterflies from Michael Jackson. I mean, this album was in 2001. Oh, okay. Butterflies, the Invincible album. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I remember the song, though. But I think, my love. Third song, Lady of My Life. Oh, you know it, Joe?
37:20You get me, Butterfly. Yeah, that thing be jamming.
37:26Shannon Sharpe:Look, what is it, Lady of My Life? What is it, Lady of My Life? for Lady of My Life. Look, I understand Thriller is commercial, but, you know, because I like to hear his vocals. Yeah, that human nature? Yeah. Oh, yeah. One T.
37:48Shannon Sharpe:I'm about to make me a Michael Jackson playlist, man. Dr.
37:57Shannon Sharpe:L. Frankie L. Bellamy says, Hey fam, happy Father's Day, Unc. Since Joe is official member of Nightcap, now I think it's time to put some new t-shirts. A Nightcap character shirt with all three of y 'all would be fire. Doc, I think that's coming soon. I think that's coming down the pipeline soon. Hey, speed into existence, Doc. I need that so I can put black eyes on my shirt. Damn, what's up, man? Slow down, Turbo. Huh? Hey, I'm going to put black eyes on my shirt on Joe, man. I'm ready. So you going to put that boudoir on it like, I know that was before your time, Joe, but I know you don't remember the fight when Livingston Bramble did that to Boom Boom Mancini.
38:41Shannon Sharpe:He brought a doll out there. He stuck pins in his eyes. Oh, man. What? Had him looking just like that. Lumped him up. Get out of here. Go look it up, Chad. Livingston Bramble. It might have been, what was that, like 80? 84, 85? Hold on, let me see. Man, he lumped what you call him up, man. Hey, don't worry. I'm going to teach him about playing on my name, man. For real. That aisle over there. Hey, Joe. I ain't learned nothing in school. I ain't going to learn nothing in the week. I bet your ass learned something from me. I'm going to teach you. Don't worry. You're going to call me the bus driver, pot nigga.
39:24Shannon Sharpe:I'm going to take your little young ass to school. I'm going to let you know. I like that. I like that. I ain't go to class. It's okay. It's okay. I'm still going to take you to school. All right. Joe, Ash, when did that fight with Boom Boom Man Senior and Livingston Rambo take place? I said I thought it was 84. Damn. He lost to Alexis Arguello also. Alexis Arguello was unbelievable. But what you call him? The Cincinnati Cyclone, the Hulk, Aaron Pryor, put that thing on him. Hey, Aaron Pryor. He was from Cincinnati, the Hulk. Aaron Pryor was good.
40:06Shannon Sharpe:No, Livingston Bramble versus Boom Boom Mancini.
40:15Shannon Sharpe:No, he fought Aguayo. I thought he fought Alexis Arguello in like the early 80s, like 81, 82 something. And then he fought, then a prior fought Alexis Arguello, I think like 83.
40:34Shannon Sharpe:Ash, do people want to know when did he fight?
40:39Shannon Sharpe:Joe, I'm trying to get Ash to help me. She going to talk about, yo, I'm on the spectrum. I mean, what's up? What does that even mean?
40:52I'm just asking.
40:54Shannon Sharpe:I mean, that's been like 40-something years ago. Ash, I was a kid. Ash, he must have got it right. He fought him twice, June 84, February 85. June 84, and fought him twice. Lost both times. He fought Alexis Arguello in, what, 81? and when did he fight when did Aguayo fight Aaron Pryor I figured it out no way could have all that wisdom what what
41:27what
41:28Shannon Sharpe:what he fought Aguayo when did he fight Aguayo oh he fought Aguayo in 81 anyway I figured it out no way could have all this wisdom without experience and so up first. Ocho second, ISO third. Hell, if y 'all moving to Houston, I'm coming too. Freak Nick 2026. Let's get the groceries. Hey, listen, listen, listen. He didn't tell us nothing that we ain't already know. We already knew the order. No, no, no, no. Ocho. You said Ocho first. Oh, they had you first? They got me first. But see, that's because y 'all fighting. So some days it may be you, and then some days it's Ocho because y 'all fight for first.
42:09No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm not even in the realm of anything like you, Chad. The fact that you can fix your mouth to even say that.
42:17Shannon Sharpe:You talking about you not in the realm. Hey, listen. Come on, man. No, I was heavily influenced by you two. Are you serious? Before I came on this show, I was a choir boy. I was innocent. Chad, y 'all can't let that man get away with all this lying he doing, Chad. Come on now. Did y 'all hear this, man? The blasphemy. me. Joe, I'm just being honest. Oh, Joe, that ain't nothing honest about you, bro. Tell the truth, Shane the devil. That ain't nothing honest about you. Listen, the devil, the devil, I don't even know the devil. Can you hear me? I'm telling you who I was. We know. That's just who I was.
42:52I came over here innocent, and I've been influenced, and look what y 'all turned me into.
42:56Shannon Sharpe:Man, I'm just old po - I'm the oldest, man. I can't age. Then the oldest, normally the freak is. All that stuff is just speaking to my imagination. That's it. Yeah, okay. And we got the booty monster on here. It makes me feel fine blowing through the jasmine of my mind. That's it. It's just a thing. I mean, I can't. Listen. You know, I'm just going to pro hustle. We got the who joke? And we got the booty monster on here hollering about he ain't. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. A true munch. A who? That's what they call him, the munch? Yeah. Everybody know he a munch. He got on feeling you.
43:37Shannon Sharpe:You know what I mean? I just, hey. Hey, listen. I just be testing y 'all to see how far y 'all will go. We already know you go that far. And farther. Nah, I haven't. You think I would say stuff like that publicly? Yeah, I do. I do. I think that. Yeah, I do. Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe, I'm shy. You know I wouldn't act like that publicly. Man. We already know. The munch. That's the new Ocho. Ocho the munch. We got Oscar the grouch. We got Ocho the munch. Hey. Not me. Guys, if you were on YouTube, if you were on the YouTube channel, Mythical Kitchen, what would be your last meal? What would your last meal be?

50:27Shannon Sharpe:Don't worry about it, Ocho. Right. Joe, you realize this your last meal. Comfort should be the last thing on your mind. Yeah, yeah. I'm going to keep it light. Hey, you know, it ain't going to be in me but for a little while. and since it's my last meal in that door I probably could be going in one end and out the other yeah KG tweet about Olivia Miles is dead on Olivia Miles is the best WNBA player playing the game right now straight box office what happened to CeCe and Reese no she's not she's phenomenal but I'm not taking Olivia Miles over Asia I'm not but no no and olivia miles is sensational sensational she is box office she's worth the price of admission if if she haven't played them aces i might go see her when they come out here and play the aces if i'm in town yeah she's that she's that she's that type of that you go see yeah some you watch on television like i'll watch them on television No, she's the type you take your ass to the arena and see her.
52:07Shannon Sharpe:She's that good. Hey. She's box office. But, hey, Angel Reese is playing phenomenal. She's the fastest to 1 ,000 rebounds. She's playing really good. She's got the dream believing they can win a WNBA championship. Absolutely. Kaitlin Carg is starting to pick it up. She just turns the ball over a little bit too much for my liking. That's what's getting them in trouble. Yep. She's having to turn the ball over six, seven times a game. You can't win like that. Nope. Nope. Hey. They're still phenomenal. Olivia Miles can be great, and she can be phenomenal. You can hype her. But you make it seem like Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark are not going to be on the All-Star team.
52:49Shannon Sharpe:They are. Oh, yeah. They are. Oh, yeah. They're deserving of soul. Hey, listen. Ocho, y 'all know I'm in Minnesota. Hell, if it weren't for my nap I had to take today, I would have went to the game, but I had to get that nap in. I ain't nothing without that now Ocho how you feel about the bracket is playing out right now for the USA with Bosnia and Belgium looking bad the US is going to the quarters Ocho speaking across the field yeah we look good obviously we spanked I don't want to say spank we spanked Paraguay but we look good against Australia so once we get to the round of 32 I'm curious who we're going to play.
53:30We got turkey next. Turkey's already eliminated. We deep fried turkey. Yeah. You got to have that fried turkey. Nice crispy skin. Yeah, but we get out of that round of 32, boy. Oh, man. Listen, boy. I'm going to jump for jumping. Tell me what's going on with your other guy, number seven. Who that?
53:50Shannon Sharpe:Number seven.
53:56Number seven. Cristiano. Oh, yeah. He's going to be all right. He's going to be all right. Hey, I don't like the discourse. I don't like the discourse behind him, man. They're going to be all right, Joe. Hey, Joe, they're killing him.
54:09Shannon Sharpe:I don't know if they're going to be all right. They might be all right next World Cup, but I don't know if he's going to be around for that one, Ocho. Nah, he won't be around. He's already 40. He won't be around for that one. This is his last dance, man. This is his last dance. So, you know, I'm hoping they get things to get over there. You know, everybody got to stop trying to play hero ball, man. What up, though? Ocho, ISO. Still King ISO. Love the show. ISO, can you please tell Ice Cube that fans want to buy big three jerseys? I need that Jordan Crawford and yours. Glad you playing for Detroit.
54:42Shannon Sharpe:Get well soon. Yeah. I'm sure they got to have jerseys for sale. If they don't have a pair for sale, then, you know, something wrong. I'm sure he got it coming on the way, though. So I agree. I think, you know, you got to display these guys a lot more. We want the league to grow. So to get some of these top guys out here, to get their jerseys out here, to get more notoriety, you know, to the big three game, the three-on-three game. Because it's an Olympic sport now, Ocho. They got it in the Olympics now, bro. So you got cats who really want to be involved in 28 playing in the Olympics. And I think if you can pull some guys from the big three, I think they would love to play.
55:23Shannon Sharpe:So kind of to start that train now would be ideal, if you ask me. Yeah, but you got to play year-round because them cats be playing year-round. These cats be knowing each other, man. They be dropping off like, damn. This ain't no just pick-up. They just put a team together, Joe. No, I know. The chemistry and continuity you can't make up for and the being in shape, the way the three-on-three game is played in FIBA is a lot different. You know, they don't really have to – if you score the ball, they go through the net. Like, it's a quick takeout. It's constant moving. You know what I mean? You got to be in some real shape, bro.
55:56Shannon Sharpe:You got to be in some real shape. They don't just take it out at the top every time. You score on us real quick, boom, we throw it out to the three, clear it. Now we, you know what I mean? We back at you. Yeah, it's a lot. It's a lot. But it's fun to watch, though. Ja. What's going on with Ja? Is he going to be in Miller? Uh-oh.
56:20Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, I don't know what Ja. Look, it's clear. It seems to me, I shouldn't say it's clear, but it seems to me, seems apparent to me that they're headed for a split. Yeah. I think it's time. Yeah. It's the classic situation. They're both sick. Yeah. The Grizzlies are sick of Ja? Ja's sick of the Grizzlies.
56:46Shannon Sharpe:OG, happy Father's Day. Please, can I get a birthday shout-out to my baby? my baby Ladybug and my bro Rich. Also, happy heavenly birthday. Shout out to my two brothers, Wood and Malachi. Absolutely. First to your baby, Ladybug.
57:05Shannon Sharpe:You didn't give me no name. I guess he says Coach Rogie. Hopefully you enjoyed your birthday, Bug. Damn. I mean, I heard some names before. I don't know. I don't know about that one, Ocho. You call your lady a name, Bug? Nah, I call her a name Fluffy. Okay. Thought you'd call her Cambodia. And your brother Rich, happy birthday, guys. Hopefully you guys did something today, even though it was Father's Day. Bug, it was your birthday, so that's kind of tough, because, I mean, which one takes precedent? The birthday or Father's Day? What we doing, Ocho? Your lady birthday on Father's Day, what you doing?
57:45Shannon Sharpe:Damn. I don't really celebrate Father's Day you know, that's what I'm supposed to be doing I don't need no reward for that so I'm going to celebrate her birthday Ocho say he celebrated her birthday and shout out to Malachi and Woods, rest in peace Nightcap fam my name is Mark and it's my 25th birthday today, can I get a shout out Ocho, you're not beating ISO in anything you remember you're no reactive to skill when he said Bill Walton was better than Steph I absolutely do. Happy 25th birthday, bro. Hopefully you did something fun today. Hopefully you got out, got a nice meal. I don't know where to brunch.
58:24Shannon Sharpe:I need to find a place to get some grits because, man, I was in a – where was I at? Oh, I was at this restaurant in Atlanta. MCK. Whew. Boy, they grits. Five, pocho. Yeah. Five. It was good? Yeah. Yeah, Skip and I were debating that guys that were better than Steph Curry, and this man we just named, He's talking about Bill Walton. See, skill must be thinking I was more than like 1985. You know, I'm old enough to remember. Look, had he not gotten injured, who knows? But he was a league MVP. He was finals MVP. But he stayed hurt. Yeah. He stayed hurt. And so, no, he's not better than Steph. No, absolutely not.
59:13Shannon Sharpe:How did he create an argument for that? I don't know. But I couldn't let that go. People were like, hold on. Bill Watt was like that? Yes, Bill Watt was a phenomenal player. Big Red was unbelievable. Yeah. But not better than Steph. No. Yeah. Do you think Seattle would ever get a chance to host the Super Bowl? And who do you want to guys see perform the halftime show in 2027? Happy Father's Day, fellas. Chris Brown or Kanye? That's who you want to see in the Super Bowl? Yep. And why not Drake? I'll take Drake, too. Okay. I don't think they're going to let Kanye. Yeah, they ain't. Not some of the things he's done.
1:00:03First of all, I don't think any one of them,
1:00:05Shannon Sharpe:because if Hov is in charge of it,
1:00:11Shannon Sharpe:yeah if that's the case then ain't gonna be no drake then there ain't gonna be no car there ain't gonna be no chris brown either man i'm trying to figure out i'm trying to figure out who who can we get
1:00:27i don't know we had bad bunny

1:01:07Shannon Sharpe:Okay. But here's the thing. Joe, Ocho, she that big. What she need this for? She doing for a baby, for a hubby. Well, he better be in the game.
1:01:25Man. Matter of fact, he be a young boy. Boy, you don't hold me up and go with that.
1:01:32Shannon Sharpe:Man, come on now. You better give me something about, hey, like I said, look, we named Breezy, we named Drake, we named Kanye. I don't know how you get bigger than that on this side, but I don't know. And Taylor Swift, I don't know where you go from there. You never know. You already had the weekend. Hey, it's a lot of time, fellas. A lot of things can be amended, you know, in that amount of time. You never know, man. Him and Drake, Drake being the biggest artists right now. I can't see how you can't have that man up there. Yeah, okay. Just saying. And will they have a chance to host the Super Bowl?
1:02:14Look, they come into Vegas.
1:02:17Shannon Sharpe:They go into Atlanta. They're going to be probably Miami, New Orleans. Nobody's hosting more Super Bowls than New Orleans. Hell, nobody hosted more All-Star games than New Orleans neither. NBA All-Star games, I'm serious. Uh-huh. Now, Bruno Mars has already done it. Bruno Mars did the one in Super Bowl 48. He tore that thing down, too, boy. Oh, he unbelievable in concert. Yeah. Ooh. Oh, my goodness. Hey, I might have to go see him when he, him and Anderson. Oh, yeah. No, he unbelievable. They got something going on out there in Vegas, a residency. I think, well, you know, Bruno had something, but I think they finna tour.

Yeah, Colombia played Portugal on the 27th. What they saying? Huh? Yo. Huh? Now, y 'all got me thinking. I'm trying to think who they can actually bring.
1:03:49Shannon Sharpe:Look, everybody, look, it don't matter who they bring. Somebody going to be pissed off. You already know that, Ocho. Yeah. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. You're not going to be... Yeah, you're not... They mad every year. No matter who performs who votes. Somebody's always mad. You ain't going to be able to please everybody. Yeah, we might have to take a trip to Columbia. 1:04:48Shannon Sharpe:Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Hey, that bitch you, baby. Yes, sir. I didn't know, man. Yeah, it's okay. It's okay. It's okay. It's okay. Yeah. See, I think the problem that you and Ocho have, y 'all think because y 'all are number one and y 'all fight for it's a problem. That don't make y 'all no bad brothers, man. Y 'all still good dudes. Wait, Joe, I'm trying to... Joe, I'm not even in the conversation when it comes to that. It's between you and I. Well, hey there. I'm section number one, number one, number one. 1:05:28Shannon Sharpe:Where's section number two? Where the hell's number three? Oh, Joe. No, no, no, no, no. Y 'all already know. I just be talking, man. I'm slow boogie. I'm slow motion over here. Hey, hey, hey. You probably used to could pull the wool over your eyes, but damn it, you can't pull it over your eyes now. I ain't got nothing, Joe. I'm just thinking, I just be talking, man. Yeah, yeah, okay. I ain't doing nothing. Dude, that's me too. I just be talking. Jake Hill, no, won't die. Yeah, all right. Yeah, I'm just saying. No, but I thought you were talking about going to Columbia. Okay. Yeah. Well, you know.
