2:59Shannon Sharpe:SGA says Luka and Jokic fans don't complain about free throws when their favorite players get calls. But you'll never hear an OKC fan complain about my free throws. Y 'all never hear Denver fans complain about Jokic free throws. You'll never hear Laker fans complain about Luka free throws. It's just part of the game. SGA, you're doing something right when fans start to complain. Everybody in the history of the NBA has an arc where everyone loves and then everyone hates them. LeBron was hated and look what he's done for the game. It's part of the game. I love it. It's stuff I dreamed about as a kid.

3:32Shannon Sharpe:And you're right. Absolutely right. I think the only guy – I don't think, look, we don't have media. We didn't have social media, so there's no way to definitively tell. But it's hard for me to believe that Magic and Bird and Jordan was ever disliked to this level. Now, maybe in their perspective cities, Boston hated Magic Johnson. Laker fans hated Larry Bird. Knicks fans hated, hey, so we understand that. But for the totality of it, nah, nah. And like I said, we can't defend him in no-o-cho because we didn't have social media. So it would have been interesting to see if we can chart it. It just so happens that now we can chart it.

4:14Shannon Sharpe:We can see who gets the most negative stuff on social media, and it's been LeBron James like 10, 15 years running. Yeah. When you're great, bro, when you're great, they're coming at you, man. Coming to territory. I don't care what it is. Just like what Shea was saying about the foul thing, they talking about he be foul baiting and all that. I don't think of that. I just think he knows how to manipulate the game to where he can get to what he want. He can get his 30-plus points a night. He know you can't stop it. Now, he may be shooting, you know, a high rate as far as free throws, but he got plenty of games.

4:49Shannon Sharpe:Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. So they acting like he can't average 30. Yeah, that baby seems like he's getting 20 points a night from the free throw line. Y 'all better stop. Yeah, yeah. Man shooting 50-plus percent from the damn floor. Do you know how many guards have actually shot that well from the floor and scored 30 points? It ain't been many, bro. Okay, I'll cut it off for you. Jordan. That's it. That's it. That's it. Score 30 and shoot 50 % from the floor. Jordan. Michael, J. Jordan. Mike, MJ. Whatever you want to call him. Errorness. That's it. To score that many points and to shoot that high percentage from the damn floor?

5:36Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Come on, man. You got to have your mind made up when you come into the game every night. I don't care what he doing. He doing something right. He gonna be back-to-back MVPs. That speaks volumes. They gonna hate him even more. They gonna hate him even more. Oh, yeah. But everybody has that run. You know, James Harden had that run where he was shooting a bunch of free throws. Joel Embiid had that run where he was shooting a bunch of free throws. Yeah. Yeah. That goddamn James should be killing that thing, bro. That goddamn step back joke. Hey, he had it all. Hey, it be looking like he traveling, but he not.

6:19Shannon Sharpe:He got a lot. I'm telling you, when you left-handed, I already feel like you got an advantage. There's somebody lefty, man. They see you crafty as hell. Yeah, they are, bro. They are. And the fact that James left-handed can shoot, can get by his man. He got an in-between game. He can get all the way to the bucket. When he left OKC, bro, he was thriving. It's just like Manu. Remember how crafty Manu was? Like, damn. How does... Yeah. Like, Ginobili? Man. That left hand. It's something about a lefty, man. Couldn't stop it. Couldn't stop it. Crazy craftiness. Dennis Rodman will be inducted into the 2026 class of the WWE Hall of Fame.

6:59Shannon Sharpe:This is nearly 30 years since he infusively skipped Bulls practice following game three of the NBA Finals. The Utah Jazz to a penny appear on Monday Night's Roll with Hulk Hogan. Rodman will enter the WWE celebrity wing of the Hall of Fame. Jordan likes like Muhammad Ali, Pete Rose, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Donald Trump, and Mike Tyson. We always talk about global fame, Michael Jordan and Adam Larson, but how big of a cultural phenomenon, guys, was Dennis Rodman in the 90s? He was a huge cultural phenomenon. He dated Madonna at the apex of a career. Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then it was different, huh?

7:38Yeah, real different. When it came to the hair, the way he played, the stuff he did off the court. Wearing that, remember he had on the wedding dress, Joe? Yeah. Yeah, he was different, boy.

7:50Shannon Sharpe:He was different, boy. I mean - Hey, how many matches he had for them to put him in the Hall of Fame, the WWE Hall of Fame? How many matches he had? Well, he showed up to a couple. I think Shaq also wrestled, Karl Malone. So there have been a few guys. I think he did have a, yeah, I think he had a match. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I don't remember that. Yeah. But, now, Rodman, he was as popular. He had a nice little roster too. Hell yeah. Oh, did he, didn't he? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Carmen Electra. Yeah, hey, hey, hey, hey, I don't know. You ever seen her in person? nah when she was at her apex she was small but she was put together flawless huh flawless blood out blood out all that like I said Madonna when she was at her apex and he had a unique skill he understood the game he could play defense he could do two things great he can rebound the basketball and he can play defense.

9:01Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. He's going to out-hustle. He's going to out-work you. At an elite level. Scoring the ball with a... If you got eight points from him, you're like, oh my goodness, we got eight. But you're going to get 15 rebounds. That's a bonus. You're going to get 15 rebounds. And taking shoes off on the side. I remember that. You were tripping, bro. But see... Mike and Scotty did their best keeping them together. The man's get practice and went to wrestle, Ocho. In the finals. Imagine, Ocho, imagine somebody's clipping a Super Bowl practice to go wrestle.

9:43Hey, I wonder what they find him up. I don't know.

9:47Shannon Sharpe:I don't know. I know they would peed off. I know in the NFL, they're going to take your whole salary. They're going to take all your Super Bowl money. You ain't getting no check. Hey, listen, though. But that's why coaching matters, because if it wasn't Phil Jackson, if it was somebody else who was less patient, who didn't have a patience like Phil Jackson. Yeah. Man, hey, man, get up out of here with all that. You know what I mean? But Phil knew. Like you say, Phil knew he needed to decompress a little bit. What do you think about it? Jordan was going to Gambler in between finals games, playing 36 holes of golf.

10:26Shannon Sharpe:Joe, imagine Tom Brady before the Super Bowl, and then he out there on a Friday night, Tom Brady at a casino. So the Super Bowl is in Vegas, and they got Tom Brady at the Venetian or the Wynn, Red Rocks or somewhere at the blackjack table. Yeah, yeah. That's different. The thing that basketball players can get away with, like on a way, you know, you can You hear stories about Harden would come to Vegas, or he would be able to go back to – Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What? I was like, damn, I want to start stretching myself out. I could grow about another four, five inches. Yeah, yeah, yeah, because, hey, hey, them teams sometimes – because, you know, I played in Houston with James for a few months, and Coach D 'Antoni, who coached me when I was in Phoenix, when I played on that Phoenix team, he was a head coach in Houston.

11:19Yeah.

11:20Shannon Sharpe:Hey, Ocho, he used to give us two days off. He'd never give us more than two. Be like, y 'all had the next two days off. Right. We were going to Vegas. Yeah. Out there quick, huh? I see. Y 'all get a little bit more grace because y 'all already, man, that money y 'all make. It's fully guaranteed. It's fully guaranteed. I mean, that's what we call it. That's the F-U money, Joe. Well, I mean, it's a little different. You know, in football, every play is almost a career ending play. Okay. Yeah, yeah. That's true. You know what I mean? Basketball ain't like that. We ain't wearing pads. It's a little physical, but we ain't got no helmet.

11:57Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. No, but Rodman, look, obviously you got your superstars, but for a guy that didn't win MVPs or things like that, for what he was able to do, everybody knew who he was. Had his own shoe. Yeah, I remember that. You know, big men don't typically have their own shoes. That man, he wasn't even no scorer, Ocho. He still had his own shoe. Yeah, but like the sock, I mean, not the sock, but the zip on the side, right? What he had? Didn't he have the zip on the side? Who, Robbin? I don't remember if he had them. Yeah. Yeah, the Robbin shoes. I don't know if he had a zip on them. You might be talking about the glove, the Gary Payton's.

12:41Shannon Sharpe:Damn, is that the glove? Carl Malone had LA gear. Didn't Carl Malone have LA gear? What was Carl Malone's shoe? I think early he was I think he was L.A. Gear Yeah You know L.A. Gear had a shoe Pony, you remember Pony Joe used to have, because Budwell Pony had them city wings I think Robert Parrish them had Pony

13:05Shannon Sharpe:Converse was super Larry Bird, Magic Johnson Dr. J Hey, what y 'all know about them XJ900 from Payland y 'all don't know nothing about them yeah I used to get them XJ900s from Payless my mom used to take me in there and get them XJ900s

13:29Shannon Sharpe:a collection of screenshots

What is the immediate advice you give people right now? It's to value time, to be cognizant of time and how important time is. Because once the time is up, it's up, and then that's it. and the relationships, collaborations, and even the failures that pushed us to grow. And the common denominator is that we have the same people with us since like 30, 40 years ago, right? Like we have a lot of the same homies that stuck around. The rapper would tell them, oh, ish, my bad. I saw a snack and thought this was a bidding machine. Okay. Okay. I like that. I like that. F3 is now officially retired. We shot, we scored, we had a good run, but bigger, better things. Now, F4 coming soon. Ocho, be hard. What's the pickup line, Ocho? That is. I'm looking like, what the hell is F3? That's a good one. That's a good one. Matter of fact, and that's exactly why everybody gonna respond.

18:48They gonna respond to that. and people, you know, the women acting creative like, oh, he's using the same line with everybody here. If you're going for 20 jobs, right, Joe? Oh, they biting. You switching bait? Hell no. You ain't all of a sudden finna go to an artificial lure, a crank, a shad, a jig, a worm, jelly. You ain't fishing with crickets. I'm like, hold on.

24:49Shannon Sharpe:You know what I'm saying? That one type of time we all know. Hey, you know why she throwing stuff at you, Joe? Why? She ain't got nobody her age to play with. But that's, it's a boy, my little son. Okay, he ain't got nobody to play with, Joe. No, he normally, he normally me. He normally, he play with me. Ocho, I just need a nap. 25:47Shannon Sharpe:for the child can be cheap as hell we know you're not pushing it are you purchasing cheap stuff for for your kids. Exactly. That's my point. Hold on. That's beside the fact. I'm trying to make a point. Don't mess up. Don't mess up my point. Hey, the baby ain't gonna know she wearing bubbles. But you're right. The baby don't, but mama does. Yeah, there you go. So that's why they got on polo, they got on Air Jordans. Yeah. He know what's going on. He can play slow. He's trying to play slow. But I know he know what's going on. Hey, think about this. Think about if all of us had kids at the same time.

26:29Think about the amount of deals we can get with Pampers, with Huggies, with Oshkosh, Bigosh. It's all a part of nightcap. We won't have to pay for nothing, though.

26:44Shannon Sharpe:Man, we over here working on potty training. You talking about some diapers. We trying to get about them diapers. I got grandkids. How that's going to look? I got a kid that's younger than my great kid. What you mean, how it's going to look? There are no rules to life. There are no rules that you have to follow. Hey, that's pretty normal though. I'm older than my uncle. Hey, that's life. Yeah, I mean, I ain't like DC young. No,

Hey, we both got on hard-bottom shoes because we can't stand up properly. Joe, you remember when you were kids? You had them hard-bottom shoes on? Yeah, them little white hard-bottom shoes.

What is the immediate advice you give people right now? Is to value time, to be cognizant of time and how important time is. Because once the time is up, it's up and then that's it. And the relationships, collaborations, and even the failures that pushed us to grow. And the common denominator is that we have the same people with us since like 30, 40 years ago, right? Like we have a lot of the same homies that stuck around. Plus, the door always stays open for a third amigo to pull up a chair.

35:10hey i appreciate that bro hey appreciate that look like he had one rolled up over there

35:16Shannon Sharpe:or something there. I seen a little smoke on that. What you got going on? Boy, that fire in that OG on there. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. That old lady going, I'm going on a diaper run. Hey, she come back with a boxer, hug his pamper, then I got boxer, depends.

35:41Shannon Sharpe:Richie Social, what's up, Ocho? Can I get a birthday shout out? It's my birthday, March 21st. I turn 29. I'm close to the big 3-0. Absolutely. Richie, happy birthday, bro. Happy birthday. Happy birthday, bro. That's right. Live it up because you're about to be – you'll never be in your 20s again, bro. You close, so you got to enjoy it. You got to enjoy 29 because 30 coming. But, boy, 30, boy, you have to – I was kicking it. 30 going to make you appreciate your 20s. And guess what? 40 make you appreciate your 30s. 50 makes you appreciate your faulties. So as you get older, you reach that decade milestone, you start to appreciate things a lot, a lot, a lot more.

36:25Shannon Sharpe:Hey, you ain't got many summers left now. No, no, no. Boss man, I've been watching since the beginning, and y 'all got me through the workday. I was curious if you guys could explain how passer rating is broken down. What moment in your life hurt your ego the most? but what ended up making you better? Man, I don't know how to get the passer rating. I guess it's yards per attempt. I don't know. Then don't start. Boss, man, I ain't going to be over you. I ain't going to lie to you. Yeah, that's a good question. I have no idea either. I know they need to do away with QB rating. Yeah. What moment in your life hurt your ego the most, Ocho Joe, but ended up making you better?

37:10Shannon Sharpe:hurt me the most but end up making me better I'll probably say getting I got hurt my sophomore year in college that's the same year that I left and went pro but I had ankle surgery my sophomore year so my sophomore year wasn't as great as my freshman year but I was still able to get drafted and I just think fighting through that injury trying to strengthen my ankle back up get back to 100 percent you know at a year at such a young at 19 years old you know it showed it showed me a lot about myself and just have how to be persistent take care of my body i think it helped me throughout my you know nba career because i was able to play 18 years on that same anchor with no problem so right yeah ocho

38:01shoot something that hurt me hurt my ego you know what i think the the best situation for me it didn't hurt my ego but it it did put me in a place of having to realize i have to transition now because i'm not getting another chance when i got cut by the dolphins when i got cut by the dolphins and i sit and i sit there and think but i was on top of the world why i had everything joe and boy you hear me hey hey you didn't even get to play a game did you man but nah nah i did the preseason did the preseason i was on top of the world joe i had by every sponsor every endorsement i remember that i remember that oh joe if i got in trouble at 11 30 by the time 12 o 'clock hit but everything was gone away what hey boy i'm but everything was gone you hear me and boy i sat in that cell and i thought to myself i say boy you were always the villain so you already know you're not getting a second chance so you might as well be at peace understanding you will never play again and figure out what you're going to do on the back end in this transition phase because now that window of opportunity, that's gone.

39:10So, I mean, it did. There was no ego part of being hurt but it was a great understanding in that cell reflecting, you're going to have to figure that on the next go-around because it ain't going to be the same. It ain't going to be on that football field.

39:22Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. I think for me it was being the athlete that I was coming out of high school and I had bull-jobbed around and didn't go to where I wanted to go in college. Ended up going to Savannah State. And I remember like, man, you going to Savannah State, all that talent? And I was like, damn. Always wanted to play at a big university. My brother had gone to a big D1 school. I was like, I don't want to follow my brother's footsteps. But it was absolutely the best thing that ever happened. The teachers that I met that helped me I mean they really really helped Shannon Sharp they really cared about Shannon Sharp and I remember the teacher one of my professors told me she said you know I know you have dreams and everybody's told me that you was a great football player but we want a great person to leave here we want you to be educated we want you to be the best representation of Savannah State not just on the football field but as a man as an as an as an educated educator.

40:26Shannon Sharpe:And I was like, damn. I remember thinking, I'm like, damn, these people really, they really care about me.

40:40Shannon Sharpe:That was the best thing that ever happened to me. That's the best, that's the best thing that ever happened. Going to Savannah State.

40:49Shannon Sharpe:I met my kids' moms on Savannah State. my homeboy Bucket lifelong friends we're closer than brothers I wouldn't change it for anything knowing what I know now if I did it all over again I'd go to Savannah State I'd go to Savannah State it absolutely made me the person that I am it absolutely did because then I had to realize I ain't going to be playing in front of 80 ,000 and the Scouts are not going to beat out here every day to get a look at me so I got to give them something to come see I gotta do that I said man come on bro you know 18 years of living the life that you live you can endure wouldn't change a thing boss man Jordan the Gold 96 them Liberty City boys just talked King Iso put Ocho in his place with a couple of them jabs snatch his chain for good measure man I got you bro You can tell he don't know much about Liberty City saying that.

41:53Shannon Sharpe:Okay, this is a good one here. Brian S. with Chuck Norris passing. Rest in peace, Chuck. Hey. Now, I'm curious. What's your favorite martial arts movie? Oh, your martial arts movies. That's a good one. Mind Karate Kid. There is no question. Damn, that's a good one. That's a good question. Bruce Leroy. Who's the master? The dragon.

42:24Shannon Sharpe:Bloodsport. I remember Bloodsport. Yeah. I bet y 'all don't know nothing about the three ninjas. Nah. Three ninjas? Yeah. Y 'all don't know nothing about that. The last dragon. The last dragon is Bruce Leroy. Enter the Dragon with Bruce Lee, I think. Yeah, the Land Dragon. Oh, it might be vice versa. The Karate Kid is... That's iconic, bro. You know, I like anything with Jet Li. I like Jet Li. I like Ip Man. You ever seen Ip Man? Uh-uh. Hold on. Hey, I bet y 'all don't remember Blind Fury. Remember Blind Fury? Blind Fury was funny, boy. That's old, too. That's way back in the 90s. But anything, I like Joan, like I said, I like Joan Claude Van Damme and Bloodsport.

43:20Shannon Sharpe:Obviously, Bruce Lee. How can Bruce Lee not be your favorite martial arts? Yeah. Martial art? I mean, Jackie Chan is up there too now. Oh, Fist of Fury. Fist of Fury. Bruce Lee. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, okay, okay. Hold on, I don't know, that Bloodsport cold. Yeah. That Bloodsport. Hey, with Joan Claude? What? Yeah. Lady Ray, rest in Pete, Chuck Norris. In homage, here is my favorite Chuck Norris joke. When he was born, Chuck Norris drove his mother home from the hospital.

44:04That's a good one. I've been seeing some good Chuck Norris quotes today on Twitter. They don't push it from the ground.

44:10Shannon Sharpe:He pushed the earth down. Jason Zeldorf RIP Chuck Norris a legend it's gone what's the best movie you think he did I'm going with Walker Texas Ranger that was good I like Delta Force hey I remember Delta Force that's old huh you know about Delta Force yeah Walker Texas Ranger was good I like I used to watch that but I I think the movie that I like probably was Delta Force with Chuck Norris. Dr. Frank L. Bellamy. Hey, fam. I saw Joe, if this was a movie scene, what's happening to Ocho? Quick, Bruce Lee knockout Steven Seagal. Calm down. Beat down of John Van Damme. Slow motion with the music playing.

45:05Shannon Sharpe:He said, that's what? Which one happened in a movie scene to Ocho? Quick, Bruce Lee knockout. Steven Seagal, calm down, beat down, because you know Steven Seagal. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Or Van Damme, slow motion with the music playing. Oh, this gonna be, it's probably gonna be Van Damme, slow with them. See, I don't wanna knock him out. I wanna keep him around, just beat him down real good. I know you still need him for nightcare. You know, I don't wanna, I ain't trying to mess his face up or nothing of that. I'm just gonna put some hurt on him. I'm gonna take a break because you and Ocho, I'm gonna let you and Ocho hold it down.

45:45Shannon Sharpe:I'm gonna take a night off. All right, baby, we might have a little, it may be some arguing going on, because he don't act right a lot of time, but I'm sure we can get to it. I'm sure I hear about it the next day. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, Joe, I don't like nobody touching my face, you know? Yeah. That's how I know if we ever, if we ever got an altercation, well, you're in trouble. You hear me? Oh, no, no, no. We getting into one, partner. I want my three-minute fade. I want my fade. Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe. I don't have no problem climbing the elevator. What you doing? It ain't nothing there for us to talk about.

46:25Hold on. Hold on. Before you go.

46:27Shannon Sharpe:You talking about you don't like nobody playing. Yeah. But you being everybody fuzzy face. Nah, I'm saying. You being everybody what? What's a fuzzy face? You know who a fuzzy face is? A fuzzy face? Yeah. What's that, Joe? What's that, Joe? What you be talking about you be doing all the time. And you be trying to get me to come over to your side? Eating grocery? Eating grocery? Oh, you said everybody. That's when I'm performing, huh? That's when I'm performing. Because I be, hey. Remember I used to work. The world in the street, they said my Ocho is a ninth degree tongue-fu master. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

47:04Shannon Sharpe:Joe, I'm talking about a ninth degree tongue-fu master. Hey, where do you think them 12s come from? They ain't come around for no money. Nah, man. Damn. But you can eat off everybody plate, though. Oh, Joe, I keep telling you, you can't eat off everybody plate. Hey, Joe, well, they coming to me for the experience. What? What you want me to do, be selfish? Come on, man. Hey, Joe, I don't want to be selfish. It's about the experience. You know, word of mouth. It travels fast. No? Praise God. Hey, listen, I'm a bishop of the, I'm a brother of the cloth. That's okay. Okay. I'm an ordained minister, man. Okay, okay. A lot of the ministers have some little, we know your past though. I understand the future where you headed, but it's just hard for me to get ahead of what you've done in your past. One thing about it. God said to repent and ask for forgiveness, and I did that. You are forgiven. You're just not forgiven by being ISO. Yeah, yeah, absolutely right. We ain't got nothing to do with that.

50:10Shannon Sharpe:I ain't got nothing to do with that. I got you. It's all good. Hey, I had my fun, though, when I was living. You did. I have my time. Hey, um, you got to try that though one time, man. Man, you got to chill. Don't be telling nobody. If that ain't they thing, Ocho, don't be trying to get nobody. You got to, you got to. Um, get some ice cubes, right? Hit the ice cubes. Break the ice cubes up, right? You hear me?

It's going to get it right. Then you flip over. What? Keep the ice in your mouth, huh? Like a blender. Go in there like a blender, huh?

Hey, everything you throw getting blocked. What is? What's getting blocked? Everything you throw getting blocked and something coming back with it. Well, you must don't know me very well. Oh, I know you very well. Iso, Joe Johnson. I got something for you, boy. I'm telling you. Iso, we gonna see you some of the Portier glasses too.

52:42Shannon Sharpe:Oh, I appreciate that. I appreciate that. These are made of a Turkish quartz cause these are special type of glasses. These are special for LaPortier. Oh, okay. Okay. Yeah. I'll put them to some good use over here. Yeah. Nah, Ocho though, you don't drink so you don't get the custom glasses. Yeah. Nah, I'm, yeah. I don't drink nothing. I don't drink nothing. No. You can't put your, You don't got no friends. You don't got no homies or nothing. Oh, hey, hey. All my homeboys drink, Joe. Yeah. Yeah, hey, Joe, they on play. You know, we meet at the cigar bar. Damn, damn, they're every day right down the street.

53:19Yeah. Hey, them Joe could drink like fish, Joe. Oh, Joe. Hey, man, I don't see how they do it, man.

53:27Shannon Sharpe:Yeah.

53:32Honk, you good?

53:33Shannon Sharpe:No. Hey, matter of fact, if you're people there, you could try that at night too, now. Oh, okay. What kind of refrigerator you got? Your refrigerator, can you the big ice cubes or the small ones already crushed up? I got this one in Atlanta that make the big cubes like they probably have at Twin Peaks. The cubes like this big. Right. I had this machine that make 84 cubes. So the 84 was inside of the cube. So it's an ice cube. Ooh. Imagine what you could do with that, huh? Take the 84 cubes. No, no. And you, oh man, you could, man, you could almost use that like a, God. What'd it do here? Hey Joe, hey, it's, no, my imagination, my creativity is going now.

54:26Just think about what you could do. No, bring it on back. You think, you, hey, hey, think about using the 84, right? You and your baby, right? You getting in the mood, look for a play. Using the 84 as a plug, you feel me? You know what I mean? Huh? You don't want to try that?

54:47Shannon Sharpe:And then what I'm going to do with the ice cube after that, Ocho? I know you're going to put it in my mouth. Yeah, you got to suck it back out. Peppy Ray said, how you going to say mayo on hot dogs is crazy when you talk about eating squirrel raccoon horse? Shout out, Nightcap.

55:06Shannon Sharpe:I said, look, I ate will I eat squirrel again yes have I eaten squirrel yes have I eaten raccoon yes I've eaten a lot of different animals but I'm saying I didn't know I've never seen anybody put mayo on a hot dog so when Fluffy said he put mayo on hot dog I said bro as a matter of fact he just DM me so now when he's making a sandwich he's doing anything he DM me he's shaking the mayo Bobby. But I've never seen anybody put mayo on hot dogs. I didn't know people ate mayo on hot dogs. Listen, I eat hot dogs everywhere I go, Joe. Every sporting event. You know, they be making fun of me. Here you go to Glizzys and I always get two.

55:48And I eat everything. I eat mine plain. I just mayo, anything, ketchup, or mustard. That would get in the way. That would get in the way of me. I don't like that.

55:56Shannon Sharpe:Hey, I seen you down in Miami, man, where they got these$100 hot dogs with caviar and all that stuff on there. Caviar who? Caviar. Caviar, I mean, caviar don't go, caviar's just put it on a cracker, put it on something. It don't go on no hot dog. Man, they got this place selling hot dogs in Miami. I'm gonna have to send it to y 'all. $100 hot dogs, caviar, a little sprinkle of something on there, like some gold. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, Joe, I ain't going. I ain't going. If I want a hot dog, I go right in the design district. you know they got the little hot dog cars like they got in New York they got a man on each block with a little hot dog cart $2.50 give me a nice peach soda a Czech soda go to Costco you want a hot dog Ocho $1.50 Costco too far Ocho like that street meat yeah the street vendor hot dog them things be good well we know we already you already told Joe and I that you eat anything so we're not surprised.

57:02Shannon Sharpe:I just want you to know. Oh, hey, Uncle Joe, look, absolutely. What are we talking about here? Yeah. Yes, sir. Yeah. Yes, sir.

57:16Yes, sir.

57:17Shannon Sharpe:I mean, you just. Yes, sir. Now you can't eat behind everybody. You know back in the day, bro, let me get a bite of that. Ain't nobody saying nobody ever with Ocho. hey hey it's a reason i look so young when you keep on looking young i'm gonna go and get old i'll be looking like ray gibson in life

57:45Shannon Sharpe:i'm cool with it

57:52Shannon Sharpe:danielle wells what's good big three question y 'all opinion which bio movie was the best between all lives on me, Notorious, straight out of Compton. Straight out of Compton. Yeah, straight out of Compton was a beast. They all were pretty good. Yeah, they were. I saw them all straight out of Compton. Yeah. You know, for me, I think, you know, because, man, NWA, when they came out, ooh. Hey. They weren't playing. They was very controversial, too, huh? Very controversial. Look at everybody. hey you know same thing with um with uncle luke oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah what's about with the government with the government controversial he's so horny yeah check that dude i wanna rock i wanna rock i wanna rock press drama big three what's up fellas remember the year riders uh caused clay a super max and iso would you say 2010 was the best free agency by far I think so.

58:55Shannon Sharpe:2010, I think that's when LeBron went to Miami. Melo was up. Melo re-signed with the Knicks. D-Wade was up. He re-signed with the Heat. Chris Bosh was up. He went to Miami. Yeah. Yeah. I think everybody had pretty much cleared their rosters. I can't know what you're trying to save money just in case LeBron wanted to come to their team. So everybody had money. So, you know, we all caught a good riff for that. I know I did from being in that free agency. You got D-Wade, Braun, Chris Boshmello. Hey, sometimes it's good to be lucky.

59:35Shannon Sharpe:Dr. L.A. Brown, M.D., all I want in life is for a man to love me as much as Shannon loves LeBron because, damn. I just want to trigger – but with all these people, y 'all never say this, when people hype up Kobe. When people hype up Jordan, nobody ever says, I want somebody to love me as much as they love Kobe or as much as they love LeBron. So what is it about that? Because y 'all say LeBron, so if y 'all saying that Jordan is the GOAT and Kobe is the second coming, that means they have more supporters than LeBron. And I've never heard anybody say, I want somebody to love me like X love Kobe or X love Jordan.

1:00:17Shannon Sharpe:Why they never say that? Maybe because Jordan has never acknowledged them. Because Kobe never acknowledged them. And LeBron James has acknowledged me. He sees me at the game. He comes and dap me up. And all those people that supported Kobe and Jordan never got acknowledged. Could that be it? Okay. Okay, it's cold, cold. When he play good, I'm going to say he play good. If he play bad, I'm going to say he's going to play bad.

1:00:55Shannon Sharpe:That's the way it rolls. Man, you said two weeks ago the Lakers wasn't no good. Here's the thing. I got a new set of facts. So when you get a new set of facts, don't show what should happen. Your opinion should change. See, the problem with you guys, you get new information and you still hold on to the same facts, the same opinion that you had before you got the new info.

1:01:18Shannon Sharpe:But now, D.L.A. Brown, we appreciate you watching, bro. Jason Zeldorf, I remember DDP, Diamond Dallas Page, Malone versus Rodman and Hulk Hogan was the highest gross in pay-per-view in WCW history. I remember that also. Oh, damn. They said it was the highest gross on pay-per-view? Yeah, WCW World Championship Wrestling. Now, obviously, you know, WWE took it to a whole new level. Was that when the Bulls played the Jazz in the finals? No, I think that was after that. It was after that?

1:01:58Shannon Sharpe:Mike, Mike, what up, big three? Ocho, you and Iso need to punk. That'd be great to prank him, and y 'all know what would come up with a good idea, come up with a good one. I got a good one already. No, I ain't messing with Uncle. Uncle, I already said he don't like to play them silly games. Hey, it ain't about what he like to play, it's about what we gonna do. Huh? Who is we? Well, I mean, if you scared, you scared. Hey, don't worry about it. We got something for you though. Joe and I got something for you. Don't you worry about it. Let me go and take me another swig because you got me grossed out.

1:02:39Shannon Sharpe:What you grossed out about, Uncle? What you grossed out about? Eating groceries, man. That man ain't gotta eat no groceries, bro. He straight. Joe, you don't eat no groceries, Joe? No, I ain't never. Aw, Joe, man. Y 'all, y 'all, y 'all. That's why me and Joe get along. Power to the people. I know. Come on, man. What y 'all doing, man? Clearly not what you doing. I know it's close proximity. Ocho, I know it's close proximity, but. Y 'all gotta grow up, man. Y 'all gotta grow up, man. Y 'all gotta grow up, man. Come on, man. That's why you gotta stay spread out. Because if he in the neighborhood, he gonna drop in.

1:03:16Shannon Sharpe:He right round the corner. Man, you know I was right round the corner, I figured I'd stop in here. You know? What? What's that? Hey, before Arkansas play tomorrow, man. Go ahead, go ahead. Come on, come on, come on, Joe. Come on, Joe. It's three o 'clock in the morning, Joe. So like when we finish the show, and then tell me about it tomorrow on the tomorrow show. Hey, that's what they like. Is that what they like? Yeah, Joe, it's something different, Joe. Just try it, Joe. Just try it. Nah, I'm straight. I'm straight, Ocho. Just, hey, Joe, for me. I mean, theoretically, Ocho, nobody knows where the nose goes when the nose close.

1:03:56Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, it's all considered sex. You know, it's all considered sex. I just want Joe to be comfortable doing something different and being able to shoot as much. I am comfortable. I'm comfortable. Okay, just try it, Joe. And you use your thumb to start off, Joe. It's okay. Take another one.

1:04:24Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, I'll let this one lady say, hey, not all women like that. Maybe them young ones do. Yeah. Oh, no, don't let them lie to you. They love it, you hear me? The older women love it? Hey, Joe, I had one by 72, Joe. I had one by 72, Joe. Hey, boy. She ain't never. Oh, my God. Where you got? Where you learn this from? I've never had this kind of feeling before. 72? Hey, Joe, you know what they'll do to you at 72? 72, old Joe. Oh, 72. She took her teeth out, Joe. I ain't never felt nothing like that. Oh, man, you gotta stop it. Hey, Joe. But when she took her teeth out, listen to me, Joe.

1:05:12Hey, Joe. I ain't never, Joe, you hear me? Hey, listen, listen, I lied for you before I lied to you, Joe. It was different. It was different. Now, people, you know, people call people coolers, and they try to go for the young ones. The young ones, they play too many games. Ain't nobody got time to be brain wrestling with you. Yeah. Old folk, but hey, Joe, over 50, over 50 and up. They know exactly what they want. They know what they want. They're getting straight to business. And after you're done, they're going to put you out the house. Get out of here. They're going to send you back home. But they're going to send you home with some food, though.

1:05:45They're going to pack you a little snack, a little bag. I'll be seeing, hey, Ocho, by you bulljobbing,

1:05:50Shannon Sharpe:some of the ones be like, they be 62, 65. I see them on TikTok. Hey, looking good, huh? Yeah, I see them. They be on the ground, Joe. I'll be seeing them at 65, 60. I'm like, damn. Hey, get you one of them now. Huh? They have you feeling like you at the UFEL. Yeah, I'm telling you. I'm telling you. Don't sleep. Don't sleep on them coogers, Joe. I mean, Joe, you married. I mean, Beaufort can't be taking blood pressure medicine.

1:06:21Shannon Sharpe:Somebody.

1:07:40Shannon Sharpe:Ryan Jones, hey, Unc, currently in med school. Could you give me a pep talk on what it takes to be great and the mindset that comes with it? Love you guys. I wish I knew what you was going into. Obviously, if you're going into a specialist, it's going to take a lot more training. But your desire to be great has to be greater than your desire not to be. Because a lot of people, look, how great do you want to be? Because your desire to be great has got to be greater than the people's desire for you not to succeed. Because you know people are not going to be happy for you. Everybody's not going to be happy for you.

1:08:19Shannon Sharpe:I believe in me. I got to prove myself right and then all of you guys will be wrong I don't need to prove you wrong I just need to prove myself right get up every day bro you know what it takes for you you're currently in med school you had to go four years of undergrad probably two and a half years of secondary and now you're going to have to do four and plus another two three of residency do you know what it takes the dedication and the discipline to do all that studying

1:08:50Shannon Sharpe:it should you you don't really need a pep talk because you are extremely disciplined in order to be to make it this far you're extremely extremely disciplined you don't make it that far without being disciplined because it's a lot of studying it's a lot of time management how well can you manage time you do that extremely well bro I'm waiting for the next couple of years when you come back and say oh man I'm a doctor that's gonna be that's gonna be great for a nightcap hey and when you when you want something bad enough where nothing will get in the way you hear me nothing nothing

I'm not ashamed to tell. Because we're family. Yeah. We're family. Yeah. Yeah. That made me a nice... Hey, Joe, I made about$15 ,000 that night. Damn. Yeah. Why you stop? Huh? Why you stop? That's a lot of money. It'd be a one-time thing, Joe.
