3:10Shannon Sharpe:Sports Illustrated have released their top 10 best receiver groups. Ocho, number one, the Rams, Puka Nakua, Devontae Adams, Canaan, Mumfield. Number two, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Ryan Flanagan. Number three, Jamar Chase, T. Higgins, Andre LeVias. Yeah. That sound about right. How do you say his name?

3:32Joe Johnson:Andre, I call him, whatever we call him. Losavis? Losavis? Yoshiva. We just say Yoshiva.

3:40Shannon Sharpe:I don't know how to say his name right. Okay, Yoshiva. Number four is Amon Ross St. Brown, Jameson Williams, and Isaac Tesla. And number five, A.J. Brown, Devontae Smith, and Hollywood Brown. Number six, JSN, Cooper Cup, Rashid Shahid. Number seven, Parker Washington, Jacoby Myers, Brian Thomas Jr. Broncos, Jalen Waddell, Cortland Sutton, Troy Franklin. Number nine, Mike Evans, Ricky Purcell, Christian Kirk. And number 10 is the Houston Texans, Nico Collins, Jaden Higgins, Tank Dale. Ocho, any issue with the list?

4:21Joe Johnson:I got an issue with the beginning, with the start. So you say Chase, Higgins, and Yoshi should be one? I'm saying I don't like the fact that they went trios. I'd rather go duos. Okay. That's what they went. They went trios. Even though they're trios, the duos outweigh the third anyway. So, I mean, T. Higgins and Jamar should be first. Now, that second spot between CeeDee and Pick and who is it?

4:49Shannon Sharpe:Pooka. So, hold on. because here's the thing now. Are you saying you take Higgins over Devontae? Because right now, Puka and Chase and JSN, them jokers close. They running neck and neck. Yeah. They running neck and neck. So now it's got to come down to the two spot. Ooh, that's tough. That's tough. Because now if your two spot, it's either pick or CD. Man, he know he's taking Devontae. He's taking pick. Oh, that detail he's taking pick. Hold on, hold on. For one, Nick, Nick, we need y 'all to say what y 'all

5:26Joe Johnson:want to. Now, obviously, it comes down to preference again. This is you got to take

5:32Shannon Sharpe:your heart out of it, too, though.

5:33Joe Johnson:I'm taking my heart out of it, right? This is similar to that D. Wade and that conversation about James Harden.

5:40Shannon Sharpe:Right, right, right, right.

5:42Joe Johnson:Now, honestly, now, you say it's close, but I'm taking Chase regardless. Boom. Now, my number two. Now, understand what Devontae's doing. Devontae is a number one steal over there with Pick. Excuse me, over there with Puka. Yeah. With Puka. My preference is still going to be goddamn uno and goddamn five. Now, at number two spot, we could battle it out. You can go see that.

6:10Shannon Sharpe:You take the Cowboys on the Rams. That's on you.

6:13Joe Johnson:Joe, who you got at number two, Joe? I got them boys. What you mean? Hold on. Over Puka

6:18Shannon Sharpe:over puka and davante no i don't got them over puka that's what they want i know jamar chase no this is your list joe no that's ocho no no they are sports illustrated list got the rams got the rams trio one so if you want to make your own list you want to put if you want to put cd pick you could do that behind uh puka and uh davante yeah and then then i got and then i got the bangles coming in you know what i mean yeah i got you all about three yeah hey you know what y 'all don't

6:53Joe Johnson:know y 'all don't know ball hey chat chat y 'all take y 'all talk to me chat y 'all talk to me man

7:00Shannon Sharpe:that's why you gotta take your heart out of the outro you gotta keep it 100.

7:04Joe Johnson:joe i'm keeping it 100. you you come on what are we talking about you know you know funny i don't we talk we talk about the we talk about the best receivers in the game right now and we nitpicking on who's number one

7:14Shannon Sharpe:yeah it's definitely close

7:20Joe Johnson:hey you know what's funny and based off what CD and Pick did last year even though CD missed some games but that's a tough duo boy that's a tough duo

7:31Shannon Sharpe:I don't know about the Seahawks being number 6 I mean look I know Hollywood but the Eagles that trio ain't better than Seahawks the Eagles trio not better than the Seahawks hell no you take a Hollywood Brown over Rashid not right now and then JSN he top yeah I'm not putting

8:01Joe Johnson:I'm curious what the chat would say I mean who they would have in that ranking would they really have the Bengals trio at number three and have Puka and Devontae first and then pick and CD second.

8:18Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. That's what the Rams, that's what the Sports Illustrated.

8:22Joe Johnson:The people writing Sports Illustrated don't know ball. Let's start there. They just happen to work for the company.

8:31Joe Johnson:But you can't go wrong with it. But Seahawks,

8:33Shannon Sharpe:I put Seahawks five.

8:38Joe Johnson:you can't go wrong though you can't go wrong

8:45Shannon Sharpe:because I think the thing is Ocho people just looking at JSN and they're looking at this season they don't realize the season before that he had a hundred catches so people you know sometimes because he had this out of body experience this year he's a unanimous all pro so was Puka but you go back and look at him the year before he caught a hundred balls that's why it was easy for them to move DK now DK DK wanted his money but they was like nah we're not going to give you that money here because we got him yeah that is crazy they talk about Eagles should be number three over who? over who? that must have asked to be an Eagles fan yeah y 'all just saying anything not yet chat we got to put you Yeah, we got to tap y 'all loud.

9:36Shannon Sharpe:Ain't no way in here y 'all talking about the Eagles should be number three. In front of who? So I want to know who y 'all moving out in that top three. Y 'all moving the Rams, Cowboys, or Bengals. So to move somebody out to put the Eagles in there, who y 'all moving out? They must be moving out of the Bengals. The who? No, no, sir. Not, not, not, not. I know y 'all ain't talking about moving out. Yeah, look. I ain't got to look. You might could, okay, you want to say, okay, Bengals won, the Cowboys won, Rams, but ain't nobody other receiver group cracking that top three over this three. We might argue about the placement of this three, but we're not arguing about whether or not they should be the top three.

10:24Joe Johnson:Hey, matter of fact, it's so funny, right? You think the decision for the Chad, obviously the chat is going to go with the team that they that they favor and that they like and this is this is uh something that you really have to think about i got something even worse what you got to think about joe you listening yeah hey chat listen to this and and think you were american right you got me you were american before you went in the bathroom right and you were American when you came out the bathroom. What were you while you were in the bathroom?

11:05Joe Johnson:Chat, stay with me. You were American before you went in the bathroom. You were American when you came out of the bathroom. What were you while you went in the bathroom?

11:17Shannon Sharpe:American.

11:17Joe Johnson:Huh? What'd you say, Uncle?

11:20Shannon Sharpe:I was using the bathroom.

11:22Joe Johnson:Joe, what you got, Joe?

Read the full transcript

11:27Shannon Sharpe:What was I when I was in the bathroom?

11:29Joe Johnson:Listen, you were an American when you went in the bathroom. When you came out the bathroom, you were still American. What were you while you were in the bathroom?

11:42Joe Johnson:I answered already. So what you got?

11:44Shannon Sharpe:I know it's some tricky stuff. I ain't got it. Of course it is. Yeah.

11:49Joe Johnson:Yeah. You were peeing.

11:56Joe Johnson:you get it Joe European but European

12:00Shannon Sharpe:yeah yeah European

12:05Shannon Sharpe:WNBA and the WNBA PA power through one more than a hundred hours of negotiation to agree in the principal to a new collective bargaining agreement next the term sheet will be signed before then it goes to the players for a vote and the board of governors for ratification the new salary cap is expected to be $7 million up from $1.5 million in 2025. The average player's salary is expected to range$600 ,000 up from $105 ,000. Minimum salaries are expected to be above $300 ,000 where last year's minimum salary was $66 ,000. The Supermax, is expected to be$1.4 million. Supermax last year was only$250 ,000.

12:54Shannon Sharpe:Average revenue share for players would reportedly be near 20 % across the deal, up from 9.3. Joe, how big of a deal is this for the WNBA? Man, this is great. This is great for the women's game, Uncle Ocho. I mean, obviously, this is what they've been, you know, trying to get done over the past some odd years. They want to raise pay. And I think as the years go and the game and the women's game continue to grow, they'll continue to make more money when they come to agreements and have to sit down, come to the table and bring what they, you know, what they're expecting. So I'm happy for the women, man.

13:30Shannon Sharpe:I'm glad that they got a raise. And obviously, you know, I'm sure it doesn't stop here. I'm sure they want to continue to continue to keep going up. So I look forward for the women's game to keep growing. Hey, listen, Ocho, my daughter, 12 years old. She was size 12 and women. She about five, seven. You hear me? Yeah. Yeah. I told her, I told her when she turned 16, you know another four five years six years girl you better write your own ticket so let the game continue to grow we got justice but the time she get that joke they be making two mil hey that what i'm talking about hey so i'm glad it's in a great place man i'm glad they trending in the right direction i'm happy for the ladies for real man they deserve it yeah they do and now they don't have hopefully they won't have to go overseas yeah they still have unrivaled if they want to participate in that you can make money in that too but now they don't really have to go overseas They're making good money.

14:21Boy, if you're in Las Vegas,

14:23Shannon Sharpe:I'm trying to get to a state, look, the only state that don't really have no state tax, they have a WNBA team in Las Vegas. Yeah, oh man. Dallas. That's really dope. But other than that, Ocho, boy, you in LA? Or New York? Ooh-wee. They taxin', but it's a good thing though, Uncle Joe. It's a good thing. Florida, they don't have a WNBA team. they probably gonna have one soon though yeah but congratulations lady job well done you've earned this big increase Asia about to sign a four year 1.4 1.4 that's 2.8 4.2 Asia about to sign a four years Asia ain't getting money boy she ain't playing she got a dope shoe about to come out She about to come out with a, I think it's the second one, right?

15:17Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. The first one was the pink one, huh, Joe? Yeah, but she coming out with another pink one, but the style and model look different. Yeah, me and my daughter going to have us a pair of ones. Hey, your daughter be hooping, Joe? You do everything, don't you? She in volleyball season now, but she play basketball. But you know, basketball and volleyball, they kind of intersect. They do. You know, you kind of, to some degree, you kind of got to pick one. She enjoys and loves playing basketball, but her volleyball, she just filled in and she's just drenched in it. She loves it. She plays it every day.

15:51Shannon Sharpe:She loves to compete. It's been fun to watch. Yeah. Yeah, I like this. I like this for the women. I mean, 300 ,000 ain't nothing to, you know, hey. I mean, considering the minimum salary is going to be 300 ,000 as opposed to 66. 66? What? That's a huge jump. That's a big jump. Yeah. And, you know, some of them, you know, make money like, hey, Caitlin, I report that she does somewhere between 15 and 20 million. So she's like, hey, this little pocket change for me. Yeah, I can see that. I can see that. But, yeah, I agree with Unk because now, you know, probably a lot of them girls, they won't have to go overseas as soon as the season over with to go over there and play and make money.

16:31You know, I'm sure they'd rather stay over here in the States

16:35Shannon Sharpe:and continue to play or, you know. I had to put that burger on.

16:39Joe Johnson:They might, because they love what they do, they might. They can double dip now if they want to, too. Wait, that's what you got unrivaled for.

16:48Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, I think that's going to be good. You can do that right here in the States. You don't have to go over there. At this current time, I ain't going nowhere. I ain't going to think about going overseas. Hey, look. Hey, look. I know, Ocho, we got on you about coming in. Hey, but boy, you probably wouldn't have got out of here

17:04Joe Johnson:if you were to came. Hold on. Joe, honestly, I don't think I would have been able to get there get there. Yeah, I don't think you would have been able to get there. It's messed up. Hey, why ain't nobody explain to me because you probably better or worse to be able to answer this. What's with the government shutdown? My flight

17:24Shannon Sharpe:both sides play in politics and they're not impacted by it. It's the everyday people that fly. They got these lines wrapped around the damn buildings. They got cops and you got to pull the cops in in Houston and you got two mile lines long in Austin. They doing some bulljive. They don't care enough. But look here. We put them in office. They need to be term limits. You get six years. You get six. You get two terms in the Senate. You get two terms in the House. And that's it. Get your ass on. The problems that existed when I was a kid, they still exist to the day. And I'm damn near 60. I'm in the airport.

18:02Shannon Sharpe:But I don't blame him. I ain't getting no paycheck. Y 'all want me to work without a paycheck.

18:07Joe Johnson:Joe, the people ain't even coming to work at Miami Airport.

18:11Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. They ain't getting paid. Don't you?

18:14Joe Johnson:My flight to come here to film with the MLS commissioner, I was supposed to leave at 8 o 'clock in the morning. Joe, my flight ain't take off until 2 o 'clock because there was no flight in it. We had a pilot that wasn't supposed to be flying. We had to wait for him to get from a flight. We got there somewhere else, and then they had to call somebody from home. So I'm like, okay.

18:36Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, because he already didn't flow too many hours. Yeah, that happened to us.

18:39Joe Johnson:I haven't been in the airport since eight o 'clock. We ain't bored till two o 'clock. Man, what are we doing?

18:44Shannon Sharpe:Hey, that's the worst feeling, boy. Yeah, but guess what? Guess who's getting paid? Them Congress people. Hold on. Is it shut down? Wait, they should be paid? They got platinum healthcare. They got the best healthcare that money can buy that they ain't paying for. But anyway, but they cutting Medicaid and they cutting your... 25:32Joe Johnson:My name is Adrese, and I just wanted to say I've been rocking with y 'all since day one. And I wanted to also say thank you for helping me get through this past year. It's coming up on a year next month since I lost my husband to cancer. And watching you guys, you know, do all these shenanigans, all the laughs, the jokes, the stories, all of it has really helped me make it through. Because he and I used to watch the show together. so I just wanted to say thank you for helping me make it through please keep doing what y 'all doing I love you guys so much thanks

26:17Shannon Sharpe:thank you so much for that and so sorry for the passing of your husband stay strong stay prayed up but it means a lot to that you and him started watching this together and although he's gone on you continue to watch so the guys myself Ocho and ISO, we really, really appreciate that support. That's the kind of love that makes what we do all the worthwhile because when we're out on the road, I'm sure you guys get it like I do, that they love watching Nightcap. They love the chemistry that we have. They love how we go back and forth with each other and that means a lot. So Idris, thank you so much and we really, really appreciate that.

26:54Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, thank you.

26:58Shannon Sharpe:Joshua petition, I guess that's what it is. Shout out from the Goose F1. Goose, what's Florida? Goose, that down south. Okay, Goose, Florida. That Goose down south in Florida. Okay. Celtics this year is walking by faith and not by sight. I mean, Celtics look good. I mean, JB should be an All-NBA. Jason Tatum is rounding into shape. I think he had like 24 and 10 tonight. Yeah. He's starting to look like – he's starting to look like – he's starting to look like Celtics do some damage, man. They look scary. They look scary. They still got some fine-tuning to do before they get to the postseason. It's a team that, you know, nobody really want to play right now, man.

27:43Shannon Sharpe:You're going to have to go through them to come out that East for sure. Scuba Steve, Ocho, if you made the Hall of Fame, who do you think would tell you like how Shannon told Sterling?

27:57Joe Johnson:I like the hypothetical.

27:59Shannon Sharpe:TJ? Yeah, it'd be hoose, but I'm a realist.

28:04Joe Johnson:I'm not making it, which is why I made my own 14-karat gold bus, and I made my own, what else I made? Your jacket. I got my own jacket. I got it framed up. So, you know what? Listen, sometimes if they don't invite you to the table, you have to learn to make your own table. And that's what I thought.

28:23Shannon Sharpe:That is correct. It's Matty. Sorry, Ocho, lie like you always do. King ISO. Ocho told us Monday that he text you at 11 a.m. that he wasn't gonna be able to go. Clearly, that was nightcap. Counseling an hour prior is criminal. And still, is mad that you're doing too much. You could've did all that with that King Gaiso and all that and still, all that wasn't necessary. Accountability is everything in 2026, Ocho. I told y 'all. If it had to go down with these hands, It's just me putting these on Ocho. Do that, don't do all that. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh.

29:05Joe Johnson:Hey, hey, I'm gonna take accountability. I'm gonna take accountability. I'm gonna spell the whole word out with each one. This left and this right. This left and this right, all the way. Accountability.

29:16Shannon Sharpe:Okay, I can't wait to see that little milk done head. I can't wait. It's gonna look like one of them. You know, they even hit that little thing and it be, and it move.

29:28Shannon Sharpe:Chippin' up with you, your Unc, if you told me about an event that you invited me to, I'd show up. I wouldn't cancel last minute. Hey, hey, hey. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, chat. Y 'all beat him up. Y 'all beat him up behind you, chat.

29:42Joe Johnson:Y 'all had y 'all fun. Y 'all had y 'all fun. Yeah. We gonna be all right over here. We gonna be all right.

29:47Shannon Sharpe:Hey, Unc, Unc, I told you on Ocho, man, them people don't play about me, man. Hey, hey, look, don't be playin' on my top. Hey, Ocho, don't be playin' on my top, partner. We ain't got time for that 2026, man. You gotta come correct, man. Hey, I'm gonna come correct with these hands, Joe. I can't wait to see them, what? I told you, Joe. Hey, hey, do we need to, I know you do a little modeling, do we just need to slap box so I don't miss your face? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

30:09Joe Johnson:I want you to unload, Joe. I want you to go hard as you can, Joe, pulse.

30:14Shannon Sharpe:All right, all right. One has De Niro. Y 'all let Ocho make it. We definitely need NICAL crew at ATL soon, dog. Yeah, we gonna look, like I said, we trying to put together some things now, but we got you. TS Cardwide Detail Service, 100 % correct. Ocho knew his daughter birthday, has ISO bottom tickets, accountability. Ocho, that would have been over, it'd been over with already, Ocho. Yeah, they already know it. Hey, y 'all had y 'all fun, y 'all finished? Nope. the seven seven seven seven oh cho for the light two extra cigars for y 'all stressing them out yeah hey you know family go through things sometimes you know sometimes you know yeah yeah and we ain't look and we in there it don't go no farther we let it go and then once we see each other get our three yeah yeah yeah yes just so just so the fans right right so they have some rag doll you

32:10Shannon Sharpe:TS called by Detail Service. Ocho showing text messages is not accountability. Call Ocho Cap 'n Crunch. Hey, but they already know you big cap on night cap. So it really don't surprise a lot of these people just keep it 100.

32:24Joe Johnson:Hey, listen, man.

32:26Shannon Sharpe:But I just want a joke. They was killing me in the chat. Why they were killing you? Because I said, Ocho, all I said was, Ocho, look, you got the man, the man spent the money for the tickets. Just call him early giving enough heads up advance. And so they was, then they turned around, well, you don't care about your kids. Well, you ain't never been there for your family. I'm like, well, damn.

32:49Joe Johnson:Hey, hey, but listen, listen. On the home front, bro, when something happened on the home front, when I got to adjust, I got to adjust. It's my bad, though. I should hit you a little earlier. You know what I mean?

33:03Shannon Sharpe:Well, Joe, you going to be not getting paid like I ain't got paid yet. So, oh, man. See, that's the thing. See, been letting that$5 ,900 go for three years. I need my fame, partner. Me and my fame. Hey, hey, now. If you owe me 5 ,900, boy, I'd have been in Miami already.

33:20Joe Johnson:You know what? If you would have been in Miami and owned me already, Joe, you would have got your ass whooped a few times by now, Joe. Yeah, because I got your address there. I know where you stay at. Hey, come on. You're welcome. You're welcome. Matter of fact, I'm going to open the door for you. I'm going to have the car service pick you up.

33:34Shannon Sharpe:You ain't got to do that. I know how to sneak in through the back. Don't even worry about it. It's a rivalry, partner. But don't worry about it, Joe. Hey, Joe, I'm coming to Atlanta in a couple of weeks. We hook it up. All right, baby. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. No, you not invited, no, Joe. Hey, hey, and the Hawks playing good ball too. Left him in the road. Yeah. I mean, come on, man. Who don't want to see that? Hold on, hold on, hold on. Where y 'all going? Where y 'all going? We're going to probably hang out a little bit. Hey, don't worry about it. We'll call you from the game and match.

34:07Shannon Sharpe:Hey, I'll be there. I'll be there. I'll be there. J-Dub, Agri, ISO. This sounds like IK and Kapali and Gino's situation. Don't swear to – hey, don't swell up too hard, too bad, now. We need Ocho on night camp. Man, damn. Well, you remember Ocho. He got into it with a linebacker, bought some money. He was talking crazy, and the dude broke his jaw. Who did this? Gino. You remember when he was in the championship? Oh, somebody broke his jaw. I remember that.

34:42Joe Johnson:I remember that. I remember that, I remember that, I remember that. Okay.

34:46Shannon Sharpe:Hey look, that's how I am, Unc. I don't play by my money, man. Don't be playing on my top. Hey look, I gotta catch the fade. I gotta catch the fade. When you, hey, when I feel, I gotta catch the fade, bro. Joe, how do you wanna do it? I was talking to Unc. I wasn't talking to you, just kidding. That's all I was saying. I'm just telling Unc how I feel. You just happen to be on it.

40:31Shannon Sharpe:Yeah.

41:20Shannon Sharpe:Because see, I already noticed when we went and watched the rip, I knew you were going to be the first one we had to get rid of. Did I tell you, Joe? What did I tell you, Joe? It's all starting to make sense. It's starting to come together. and I'm like.

41:30Joe Johnson:Yeah, because I told y 'all, I told y 'all we need to keep all the money. Y 'all talk about turn some of it in. See?

41:36Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, that's why we gotta get rid of you, partner. We already know. In fact, going into it,

41:41Joe Johnson:I'ma knock y 'all off first.

41:43Shannon Sharpe:Nah, nah. Orlando, for the film, Ocho Lane for doing that ISO like that. Terrible friend. Damn, man. I agree. Hurricane 268, it's time to add some clown makeup to Ocho's emoji. Oh, man. New show format, Nightcap with Uncle Iso's special guest, Chad. Who puts the cap in Nightcap? Nah, we can't. We can't. Hey, we got to keep the. What they call that? What they call that outside the world? What they got the faces on. No, no, no. At the movie, would they have the billboards up there? They have the people's name up there? What's that? The marquee, yeah. We gotta keep the marquee as it is. We gotta keep the marquee as it is.

42:33Shannon Sharpe:Hey, look out. And we had the Django today. Hey, who was I? Who was I? What you mean? Because Django was only two people.

42:45Joe Johnson:Who the third person?

42:49Shannon Sharpe:I'm Jamie Foxx. Who was Christophe Waltz?

42:57Joe?

42:57Shannon Sharpe:So who the hell was I? Okay, somebody gotta be Leonardo DiCaprio. And then somebody gotta be Christoph Waltz. So who you wanna be, Ojo? You Leo. You Christoph. You Leo. Huh? He DiCaprio? Yeah, Uncle Leo DiCaprio. Who you think you is? Jamie? You do realize I'd be like Jay.

43:18Joe Johnson:No, I'm Django. Uncle don't even know how to ride no horse, man. You Christoph.

43:23Shannon Sharpe:You say Uncle - I know he Christoph, you Christoph Waltz.

43:27Joe Johnson:Nah, nah, nah, I gotta be Django, man.

43:32Okay.

43:34Shannon Sharpe:Okay, the next one we do with Django, we gonna let you be Django.

43:40Joe Johnson:Hey, I don't know who our graphic team is, but boy, they nice, boy.

43:44Shannon Sharpe:Boy, they get down, ain't they?

43:45Joe Johnson:They the real deal. They get down. I got people, you know, I see people, you know, in the airport, obviously, just flying, and people talk about the show, and the first thing they talk about, man, I don't know who make y 'all graphics, boy. but they bunny is there.

43:59Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, yeah. Let me see who that. Oh, yeah. Why am I falling? That's typically what happens when I'm on the court. Somebody going to end up falling. That kind of how it goes. Why am I falling? That kind of how it goes. You know you can't walk and chew bubblegum,

44:20Joe Johnson:so I know you ain't going to be there. Joe, you not going to be able to get around me, Joe. I have the best feet in the game in any sport of any person ever. You not surround me, Joe.

44:29Shannon Sharpe:You think you was a diva receiver and you play soccer? That you think you can stay in front of me, bro? Joe, you ain't that, boy, you hear me? All right, okay, I can show you better than I can tell you. Joe, show me, Joe, show me. All right, okay. You can take the emotion out of it. It ain't gonna take all that. I'm gonna treat you the same. Yeah, I'm gonna treat you the same, whether you talk tough or not. I'm gonna treat you the same.

44:52Joe Johnson:I'm gonna make you still words, you hear me? Yeah, say less. Make you still words, Joe.

44:55Shannon Sharpe:Say less. July of the 21-12, LeBron was on one tonight. Ocho King, ISO. Do y 'all think LeBron would be an owner of the new Las Vegas team? No. You don't think he got a chance on? Mm-mm. Because what I'm hearing, like, he wanted to be like this group that he's with that's like, you know, the Red Sox and Liverpool and all that. They don't seem that interesting. And so now they probably done put it out there. They already done a team. for them to go to Seattle and for them to go to come to Vegas, they've already got their group. They've already got two or three groups that they already listened to.

45:31Shannon Sharpe:Then they got, hey, send us the thing. They got the money. Boom. Hmm. Huh? Yeah. I thought. LeBron's Fenway group, they withdrew. Because the only reason why I say that is just to keep him around the game when he's done, kind of like similar to what Tom Brady's doing for the Raiders. Yeah. like him making decisions like that. I think he'll be great in that position. And for them to keep him around the game, I thought it would be pretty dope. But see, the prices have skyrocketed so much. You got to realize Jordan bought like 30 % for like a couple hundred million dollars. And then he was able to buy the rest of it for another 300.

46:13Shannon Sharpe:So he bought a team for say 300, 400 million, sold it for 3 billion. Damn. Now, just to get in, You're talking about somewhere between$7 and$10 billion. Damn. Ain't a whole lot of people got that kind of bread, bro. We're going to have to put us a group together.

46:33Shannon Sharpe:I'll probably be able to buy the, what you call them, concession stands. I can put it to concession stands. What are we going to buy, Joe? We're going to buy some professional teams. Okay. Like NBA? NBA, NFL, what y 'all want to do? Hey, well, if you got a professional-ish talking team, sign me up. I'm in.

46:55Joe Johnson:Me and Ocho, get in on that. Joe, let's buy a soccer team, Joe. What they going for? We probably, I don't know, maybe we could buy Napoli.

47:09Shannon Sharpe:You got MLS team going for like$400,$500 million?

47:14Joe Johnson:Yeah, about$300 million. Get your MLS team. No.

47:18Shannon Sharpe:Hey, hey, we had to come with a mean group, boy.

47:21Joe Johnson:I got it. Joe, I got a group. Got some money down in Mexico. They let us hold it.

47:27Shannon Sharpe:What you mean, in Mexico? What they got going on?

47:29Joe Johnson:I mean, I'm just saying, if we were serious about wanting to buy a team, and I take that business plan to them, I got it down in Mexico. They let us hold about 500. What they doing in Mexico, though? Why they in Mexico? I want to know a little bit about them.

47:43Shannon Sharpe:What's going on? That's what they did.

47:44Joe Johnson:That's where they work, Joe. That's where they operate.

47:47Shannon Sharpe:Okay. Okay. Okay. No, I'm saying no. Down to Wizard, Miami of Ohio is a throwback team. No transfers. Ooh. Juan Paula Fox, 1997 Big Three. Can you guys give my wife, Adriana, and I a shout-out? She gets induced tomorrow to give birth to our third child, baby boy. We will have three under three. Good God. Man. That boy putting in some work over there, ain't it, man? Yeah, man. Adriana. Juan. Congratulations on baby number three. Three under three. I mean, you talking about doorstep. One, two, three. Y 'all got y 'all hands pulled, but congratulations. Hopefully everything goes smooth. Mama and baby are healthy.

48:31Shannon Sharpe:Jump back on with us tomorrow or Saturday to let us know everything one turned out okay, man, because we're praying for you and mom and baby to be okay. Everybody's okay. So congratulations, guys, on baby number three. Congrats. Congrats. on the Lexington Cup. Saturday, Unk, it's really been three years and Ocho still haven't paid you 5 ,900. TBO, meaning don't bet Ocho because he never paid.

48:54Joe Johnson:See, people gotta understand, Joe. I mean, you know, people gotta understand. They talk about, they worry about payment, but you have to understand, like that's an emergency break the glass. It's an emergency break the glass. As long as I owe Unk that 5 ,900, Unk will never go. Ping-a-ling-a-ling. Unk will never be in need, you feel me?

49:11Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, you heard that glass broke.

49:14Joe Johnson:Ping-a-ling-a-ling. You feel me, Joe? Joe, what did I owe you, Joe? $100,$200? Remember?

49:23Shannon Sharpe:Nah, nah. Remember, you helped me with them families for Thanksgiving. Me and you, we broke even. We were good money. Me and you were good money to the other day, partner. Hold on, hold on. I'm talking about to the other day.

49:32Joe Johnson:Let me see. I helped you with something for Thanksgiving, right? Yeah. I didn't even remember that, Joe. And you can't let me slide this one time after what I did on Thanksgiving?

49:40Shannon Sharpe:I said we were good money up until then. Like, you know, we've been cool. Hey, Joe. Now, we had to address this, man. Catch the fame. All right. Hey, Joe. Old dad, homies. It's on, Joe. It's on. Well, it's on. It's on. On site. Caleb Robinson says 30 on 14 shots. Say it with me. Go James, efficient king. Yeah, he was on one tonight. He was on one. Yeah. Juice 1976. Go James didn't speak to the media after almost scored 85 points. He said he needed to get to the kid's birthday party. Coach J.J. called Cap, Nightcap. Didn't he speak to Lisa Salters after the game? Who? Oh, they said, oh, he ain't talking about LeBron and speak to the media after almost scoring 85 points.

50:29Shannon Sharpe:Hey, that joke was still up, been up at the podium. He just quit. Hey, you score 85 points at 41, you're going to be talking to the bar. Zayda and Phenom. Ocho made Iso change his last name to Frazier. Not quite like BJ. Yo, can we get Lakers in five? No, you got Iso in five. Iso in five. Man, get me all out of character. Yeah, I saw that too. Iso, what was the best team you played on? And were they ranked Amari amongst the big men? I feel like he doesn't get talked about enough. I would definitely, I would say that Phoenix team in 05 because we only had one year to play together. And in that one year, we were the best team in the league.

51:14Shannon Sharpe:And I seen Amari, man, when he first came into the NBA, Uncle Ocho out of high school, out of Lake Wells. Bro, he was just, he was just going through Cass. It wasn't even like, he wasn't trying to finesse you or nothing. It was like, man, Jay, just give me the ball. I'm going through him. I'm going to, either you going to block this or you going to be on my highlight tape. Like just a dog, bro. Yeah, he was bad. Before the knees got bad, man, he was something to watch. I highlight every time he touched the ball. I'm talking about that boy was mean, man. Aaron Owen says, I got high point to upset Wisconsin.

51:51Shannon Sharpe:I think Akron can be tough out for Texas Tech. The killer part is, see, Texas Tech lost their best player, they big, and Toppin, he was the first, I think he was the first team All-American, huh? but you know he tore I think he tore his ACL or something like that but that's why I think they subject to lose but outside of that

52:17Shannon Sharpe:Bear Gang 268 weighed over Harden the non-basketball movement rule really hurts Harden and SGA is a foul baiting king great player terrible to watch nah I don't think he's terrible to watch Dennis FC Hey, Ocho, could you please wish my son, Neymar Alexander Abrams, a happy birthday. He turned six. Absolutely. Happy birthday, Abrams. Birthday. Neymar. Excuse me. Neymar. Damn. I guess Neymar is your favorite soccer player, I'm assuming. Gotta be. But happy birthday, Neymar. Hopefully you got some nice cake, electric-powered car, and you really enjoyed your sixth birthday. Dennis, thanks for watching.

53:00Shannon Sharpe:Bam, 51-42, Acuff to the Houston Rockets. What y 'all think? Joe? Acuff to the who? Houston Rockets. Oh, that ain't, you know what? That ain't bad, boy. They got, you know, you got to get Acuff the ball, though. Let him rock out. Like, don't get him over there talking about, you know, we're going to be a pass first guard. Yeah, or just go past the ball to Sangoon and go stand in the corner. Acuff ain't that kind of guard. You draft him, you giving him the rock from day one. Let him rock out. Let him play through mistakes. Yeah, yeah. Let him lead the team. I don't know if that's a good look. Did you guys watch WBC?

53:43Shannon Sharpe:Yes, because Aaron Judge needs his butt whip for that performance. He turns into Josh Allen and James Harden come playoff times. He does. Hold on. You talking about Venezuela playing against USA? Yeah, yeah. I watched it on the plane coming home yesterday. Aaron Judge was bad. Three strikeouts. Man, Venezuela out there punking us. They hitting us with the ball, looking at, mugging us in the dugout and all that. I'm like, what's going on? Hey, they took that period, man. We had a chance.

54:11Joe Johnson:We were down 2-0. Bryce Harper was at bat. He fought two runs, then he tied it up.

54:17Shannon Sharpe:Yup. And then you let him lead off the ninth. What, what, what, what, they, they, they got his finger, then he stole. and then the next guy come and hit one to the wall, I knew it was over. Once that guy said, yeah, it's over. Yeah, but Aaron Judge is going to have to do something better about it. Yeah, he has three MVPs, and he's a tremendous right-handed power hitter, but this coming up small in the postseason, year after year after year, that ain't going to do it, bro. That ain't going to do it. Goat, 2022, what Max Crosby said about his experience at the Ravens facility. is that common? Did the Ravens know they were pivoting and act like that way on purpose?

54:57Shannon Sharpe:All I can talk to is how I got treated when I went. You get the physical because when I went to the Ravens, well, I had already signed a contract. But when I went to Baltimore, I got a physical. Excuse me. When I went to the Raiders, I got a physical. When I went to Seattle, they gave me a physical. Got an MRI on both my knees. Got an MRI and x-rays on my shoulder because I had broke my collarbone years before, but they wanted to make sure everything was okay. Everything came back. You know, hey, obviously, my knees were what they were. But I passed the physical. But, yeah, no, I met the general manager.

55:32Shannon Sharpe:Well, the general manager was Mike Holmgren at the time. So I had a great – you know, he knew my brother. He coached my brother in Green Bay. So, you know, I had some familiarity with him. And when we went to the Oakland – I'm trying to think. I met Al. he went up in his office so you want to be a raider

55:56sure

55:59Shannon Sharpe:now actually I want to get back to Debra to be honest with you so I can't speak no look I don't know how they do it maybe they do fly you in on first class but no uh excuse me on a private jet but I flew I flew back to Baltimore because Ray was going through what he was going through in Atlanta and Mr. Modell was down there. So I flew back with Art on his plane that Sunday, had the conversation with them. You know, everybody was excited. We got to done Tuesday. When I went to Oakland, when I went to Seattle, I flew first class and then first class to Oakland. So, so I can't, I can't speak to what Max experienced because that's what I, I mean, I ain't get no PJ.

56:39Shannon Sharpe:They ain't fly me no private jet. Maybe did

56:45Shannon Sharpe:New England, did they fly you private?

56:47Joe Johnson:Me? I went late. I got traded late.

56:53Shannon Sharpe:Okay. Joe, when you went to Atlanta, did they fly you in private? No. No. But they flew him out on private. I don't know. I can't speak. I'm just telling you what happened with me. So maybe they do fly the guys in first class. I don't know. I think maybe if it's the draftees, they probably fly in private, Ocho, because they got to get them there.

57:21Shannon Sharpe:Burner Count 2 grew up watching number two in Phoenix, always felt the 0-4-0-5 roster was like championship caliber. Was there a real chance to bring that team back the following year, Joe? Well, I thought it was a great chance to bring it back. I think when you get into you know, we were such a great team. Like I said, we finished number one in the league that year. So, you know, you got to pay for that. Okay, Ojo? Yeah. As we coming into that season, I'm only trying to get about$50 million, and they didn't want to give me that. They was only selling for like$40,$42. So I turned it down, and I just kept playing.

57:56Shannon Sharpe:I was like, man, I'll just play it and end up, you know, signing here with Atlanta for$70. So, you know, that's the risk. That's the risk. That's the risk you have to take. or when you're betting on yourself, you know what I mean? Yep. And when you become a good team, everybody gets rewarded, fellas. Joe, you got that money on, huh? Nah, we ain't got to talk about it no more, Ocho. Yes, I'm just saying. We ain't got to talk about it.

58:24Joe Johnson:I heard you say it.

58:25Shannon Sharpe:Okay, all right.

58:26Joe Johnson:I'm going to knock some of that 70 right up at you.

58:32Shannon Sharpe:Here's the key. Did you know T-Head from Memphis? They say his three was like a layup. He scored 83 in a high school game. Yeah, I never heard this dude named T-Head from Memphis. He was good, Joe? Okay, look, look, look. Yeah, hey, he was cold. He probably got all the records in high school. See, y 'all know Memphis and Arkansas, we next door. Like, okay, Ocho, the University of Memphis closer to me than my house, than the University of Arkansas. So we should play against a lot of Memphis teams, but this Booker T team, they had this dude on there named T-Head. I'm talking about Ocho, it seemed like when he shoot, he didn't miss.

59:06Shannon Sharpe:You hear me? I'm talking about that boy could fill it up. That boy could score that ball, man. I think he stayed in trouble. I think he may even did a little bit, but he had some game. I caught him when he was in high school. That boy could play. He tall, short? He ain't walked by probably by like 6 '2", but I'm talking about he had a quick release with his jump shot and he could get it off on anybody. That boy was cold.

59:34Shannon Sharpe:Big underscore Sarge underscore Brooks. Shout out to my daughter, Ryan Brooks, as she tries to become the state champion. Texas high school powerlifting meet today. Ryan, good luck. Good luck. Thank you, Sarge, for letting us know. Hopefully she does become a record holder and win the high school state in powerlifting. Mike, Mike 100, next night cap outside. Let's throw these hands in the ring. Ocho versus Aisle in a boxing match, Unk could be a special referee. I'm not gonna do it. I'm not gonna be no ref.

1:00:01Joe Johnson:I'm gonna get these ass too, boy. Hey. Hey.

1:00:06Shannon Sharpe:What I got, how I get drunk you. You the ho, you the ho. Hey, hey, hey, if that's how they wanna see it, then however the people wanna see it, don't make me no different, man. I just gotta put, I'm putting down a mean demonstration. That's all I'm saying. Okay. Okay. Chavez, see you, see yo. Yo, my daughter just turned one month.

1:00:29Shannon Sharpe:Nayeli? Nayeli. Any advice for me entering fatherhood? She's my firstborn. Hey, I got one for y 'all.

1:00:37Joe Johnson:They're going to love you and they're going to hate you too. First order of business. Two is better than one. So what you need to do, she's one month. That means you probably have maybe another three weeks. Get back in there.

1:00:48Shannon Sharpe:Don't listen to old Joe, bro. Hell no.

1:00:51Joe Johnson:Don't listen to old Joe. I'll just see one more, get it out the way. All numbers is bad luck, Joe. Just have it with you. All numbers bad luck.

1:00:58Shannon Sharpe:Man, nobody. Man, nobody. Having too many kids, bad luck too. Hell of a thing. Yeah, hey, you forgetting your plans and all that. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, you forgetting your plans and all that. That way, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, hey, Joe.

1:01:11Joe Johnson:Hey, Joe, that was a good one, Joe. That was a good one.

1:01:13Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, he snuck that one in on your joke. Barton Lewis, 501, King Ice, like, show him how we do it in the rock. Oh, hey, y 'all already know it. Don Seco 305 can you shout out my daughter Savannah Hunt birthday she just turned 9 Savannah happy nice birthday happy birthday Don appreciate you man hopefully she had a fun day with her friends hopefully everything went really really well but happy nice birthday Savannah just prime time going to see Braun for the first time tomorrow in Miami with my two homies have to see the legend before he retires man Oh, I just got your bottle. I'm celebrating my daughter turning one month.

1:01:54Shannon Sharpe:Any advice for entering child or fatherhood? Yes. Look, bro, it's a great experience. My oldest is a girl. She's very close. Them girls do something too. Boy, you have your hand for a look. Enjoy it while they're in that loving stage because they're going to become teenagers. And all the time you hear from them. You have hello to him. When they need something.

1:02:22Joe Johnson:Hey, daddy, how you doing? I respond not much.

1:02:26Shannon Sharpe:You already know the setup, don't you? Hey, and the thing is, look, they got a mind of their own, but they're going to want a buck. They ain't want to, whoo. But them girls do something to you, boy. They make you look up. Yeah, because you don't really want to talk to them or be like you would with a boy. Yeah, yeah. So you got to be – but boy, hey, look here. Boy, she knew exactly how to push all my buttons. Oh, yeah. Yeah, and they going to take advantage of your little kindness that you get a girl. I'm about to lose my little TV job. F-ing with you.
