In short

Discussion of Kodak Black’s public substance-abuse narratives and whether fans/media overreact; plus interviews about music careers, branding, and industry connections. Guests also talk about Big Rob’s rise from Indiana, his “Decisions/Whole Squad” breakthrough, and his relationship with 10K/Track Star. No Limit TC shares his background from Kansas City and his path from armed security to music.

Guest backgrounds

  • Big Rob (Indianapolis, east side). Started rapping seriously ~2 years ago; influenced by Michael Jackson, old-school trap (Chief Keef/Thug/Gucci/Jeezy), and Kodak Black. Claims “Whole Squad” was his first written song; “Decisions” went viral after TikTok/Facebook spread.
  • No Limit TC (Kansas City). Worked armed security for ~4 years; grew up around neighborhood/clique violence; says Kansas City has permissive gun laws and he trained via a security company (mace, handcuffs, first aid).

Key claims + notable examples

  • Kodak: guests argue he’s “the same Kodak” since age 17, and concern should come from care, not labeling him a “junkie.” They cite his ongoing ventures (property/stores, supporting artists) and note he’s apologized for recent behavior.
  • Big Rob: “Decisions” cracked after a debut/podcast moment; he says it reached ~11M YouTube views. He explains “Big Ro6” name (6 replacing B; cartel movement; 2-3-6).
  • Big Rob: says G Herbo is doing a remix; he’s working on a “Rockstar” record and mentions future dream collabs (e.g., Youngboy, Yak, AI, Michael Jackson as a goal).
  • No Limit TC: says he carried out armed security after turning 21; security job began with “sit in the parking lot” and later training.

How you be feeling? like all right let's talk about the kodak you know how you be feeling like could you probably talk to kodak and speak to him on a regular how you feeling like the blogs and everybody be trying to say that kodak you know he might be having some substance abuse issues and like that what do you know and like what do you see um like honest like to be completely transparent yeah we fell in love with kodak black at 17 years old or and one of the biggest records which 1900 and Hurricane Wisdom just remix like that.

1:25You know, it's called that like on the project. One of the lines, he said, I mixed Molly with Malene. You weren't joking. So this was 17. Yeah. So you're telling me we as consumers, fans, supporters, been understanding and supporting an artist that's been talking about these things since he was 17, but now he's 28. Maybe his features may look older. things may he may not look as you know a certain way on certain things maybe getting high on weed or whatever and we're making into a narrative like he got a problem which is which is crazy because kodak been the same kodak since he's been 17. bro like and one thing is like with artists like i could be like and have a cold and they be like he on that pile.

2:09everything is like right now if i take on my glasses and i ain't sleep bro we got features like sorry we can't Like when he was sitting on the floor eating chicken, like bro, like a bitch can't sit on the floor. What if there's no chairs and I been standing up for three hours? What if he vibing? Bro, we get in the car, I'm worth millions of dollars and my homies will tell you I jump in the trunk if it's too deep. And also another thing is, even if somebody do got issues with substances, everybody got their own battles. And I got something I said in the song, like I forget exactly what I said, but I said everybody got their own problems.

2:43You feel me? Like I mixed drink with the ex. like they're like everybody got they own issues that's why I don't judge nobody but he's fully you listen Kodak is fully functional operating dropping great music you know working on you're going on the musical run and I and I I was for him bro he's in a city right now putting the city together bringing artists to Florida doing shows setting up stores buying property like bro when me and Kodak talk he got so many ventures and he's always putting on people genuinely buying paying stuff for 1800 block his neighborhoods like yo this man is a is one of the ones and continually dropping music and feeding his fans so it's like yeah i hate to see a lot of people that narrative like all half of the artists he got under him he got out of bad deals that they was in fought for them in court got them out of bad deals and got them in better deals with other labels they're not just under him like he really be putting people in position like so he fully like bro that narrative is just I think people pick and choose what they want to see.

3:46I think some of the clips do get... I think he play into it too. Yeah, I think he put a booger on the girl's head. Yeah. I mean, it's hard for people to think he's in the same state of mind when he's doing that shit. But it's the same artist. But look though, correct me though. Yeah, he apologized for the other day. It's the same artist though that was taking a shower and dropped his phone online. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's not like he just started doing some crazy shit. So it's like... This is my brother now. You know what I'm saying? I'm being real. So how are we now making what was Kodak spontaneous star quality now into issue?

4:21There's a compounding effect with time as you continue to do drugs that a lot of times like you're 21, it might look all good. And then by the time you get to 30, people start to be worried about you. So I do think it's fair for people to be a little concerned sometimes when they see Kodak look a little wild. But concerning a dragon is two different things. That's true. That's true. It should be coming from a place of caring. Like making someone feel like they're something that they're not, which is a, you know, an addict or a junkie or whatever is terrible. If it's more like, hey, bro, did you eat today?

4:52Yeah. Like, yo, bro, maybe you, maybe you got to like go in the sun a little bit chill. You know, it's different than that. So that's what I'm saying. I be breathin'. I'm gonna be real. Like a bibbin telling me I look like a crackhead since before I was heavy on drugs. So it's like. Sometimes they're features. They might just look like they, because I be like twitching and some more shit, especially when I'm out and there's a million people outside. I might be looking crazy as fuck. Everybody ain't looking like I'm on drugs. I might be sober, though. Listen, my dog's dropping great news. That shit make it hard to get sober, too.

5:20It's my hardest to get sober if everybody gonna come at you like you high, even when you sober. You like fuck. I'm gonna just get high regardless, then. That's what I'll sit for. Man, be with his kids, man. He be living his life, you know what I'm saying? You know, just to - Shout out to Kodak, though. Hopefully, you know everything is good. That's my brother for life. One of the goats. One of the absolute best, most influential, best music. You know, like, you can't take anything away from him. I say that strongly. Like, I don't even think Eminem, J. Cole, Kendrick. I don't think they fucking act lyrically.

5:49They tell the world that. Kendrick Lamar said Kodak is one of the most lyrical persons. One of the only street rappers he ever put all over an album. It's with the Florida bounce of, like, the, you feel me? like the Bobby with the creative lyrical wild that just make it right all right but I've seen people saying that Kodak and Youngboy don't see eye to eye because Kodak feels like Youngboy his spot where he's at right now is is a spot that Kodak should be in okay how you feel about that um what spot is Kodak should be in Kodak's one of the biggest artists in this generation right Youngboy might be having a moment but Youngboy also newly free we didn't really get to see too much of him for all those years whereas Kodak been free for many years now.

6:34Youngboy ain't get to do no shows, ain't one, barely no interviews, nobody's seen no another. It was like a huge build up of suspense for that to even roll out the way it did. I say one thing though, Youngboy is definitely one of the ones. I'm not this guy, that shit. I hope I ever get that. That's what I'm saying. You know, like, even with Youngboy, like, what he's doing for the culture of music and what he's doing for the, like, hip-hop is, like, phenomenal. Like, no shout out to him. But there's no place that Kodak needs to feel jealous to be because Kodak is Kodak. I think it was more so awesome.

7:06I don't see what place he needs to be. I don't know that issue. I don't talk about that shit. I think it was more so awesome. They had past issues, whatever came up, came up. Now they both doing little shit. That shit need to stop, period. They need to be cool again, in my opinion. They was cool. They need to be back cool. That shit ain't that deep. It ain't a deep beef. You know what I'm saying? I don't think anything in this life that's not moving you forward or helping you take care of your livelihood is more important than that. But regardless, to answer your question, I don't think Kodak had to feel any jealous of anywhere, anybody.

7:49Not just young boy, anybody. That's what you're saying. You're saying the fans. The fans is putting that. Little baby is still a little baby. Yeah. you know what i'm saying everything bro so when you make a song and he feel like y 'all just made some towards me now i'm finna respond you know what i'm saying that's what happened yeah so if you if you make a song with somebody that i signed back in the day and you make us making it look like you trying to like play in my face cud just like me he the type gonna respond to that he not gonna let it be no oh because bruh all the blogs was like oh young boy make song with with kodak x or uh now i feel like y 'all playing with me i'm gonna drop this and that's gonna be that and i'm i'ma pop it when you in my city for the show i'm gonna pop out yeah i'm gonna pop out that don't mean i'm jealous of your spot i mean you play with me and i'm responding yeah i i feel like the media is i feel like the media um put people more than each other against each other the fans too though everybody's getting money everybody's going good you know what i'm saying yeah i said like and this This is coming from somebody who really, really love the culture, I understand where we at in the music scene.

8:58Everybody's still the same person, they are present and why they just gotta continue working. This shit is not a one day thing. Nah, I feel that. One of the songs that you did drop recently was a song called Rockstar and I wanna bring in Big Rob. Let's get Big Rob on here. Big Rob been going crazy. I'm a um. We had remade that. Rob did that shit with God. That good of Solly. I got that shit with glass. What it do y 'all? What's the word man, Big Rob man? You out of Indiana? Yeah, so Indianapolis. Indianapolis, right. Gotta correct it, cause you know what I'm saying? You got different parts of Indiana.

9:37Yeah, so break it down. What part you from, man? Indianapolis, Indiana, east side of it. You got your Terre Haute and you got your Gary's and all that shit. Like people think of Indiana and all that. You got those different parts, but they got to represent Naptown for sure. Naptown. Indiana. I'm mad. Indianapolis. Indianapolis. What's up? That's crazy what happened to y 'all in the playoffs last year, though. That's all good, man. The Colts going right now, though. You feel me? The Colts going. If one don't do it, the other one will. And if both of them fail, you got Big Rob popping this shit for the city.

10:07So look, a lot of people get your name wrong. They see the Big Rob, but the B is replaced with a six. Yeah, that kid was Big Row 6. Yeah, Big Row, because that's why. So why is the 6 replaced with the B, or B replaced with the 6? Is that like a city thing? At first, back then, it was more like growing up at first, I was banging GD and shit. All right, for sure. But then transitioning and shit, I ain't going to get more into all that. But you feel me? It's a meaning beyond everything. But now I'm standing with the business with my brothers. We BCF, you feel me? And then like, so the numbers and everything is 2, 3, 6.

10:43You feel me? So the Sixers replacing the beat up, you feel me, in general. You feel me? Like more the cartel movement, you feel me? And I feel it. You feel me? Man, I ain't going to lie, bro. I started listening to your music, and I, bro, you got some shit. Yeah. You ain't a regular rapper. You're not a regular rapper, bro. Like you finna be a superstar. I listen to all type of music, though. Who influenced you? Because I ain't going to lie. Nah, not the disrespect, it sound like some like hood, Willy Wonka type. I ain't never heard of that. He didn't even make music. He just had a chocolate factory.

11:20No, but he got the Oompa Loompas who got like the almonds, bro. I'm telling you. I was listening to them, I'm like, yeah, what the fuck? Hey, we don't have a pirate. With the pirate things. Yeah. Loompah. But he got like a, man, bro. So like, where did your style come from? Shit from me. It just come from being me, bro. Like real shit, I'm about to say shit. because my favorite artist, like, it's shocking. I'm about to say my favorite artist is Michael Jackson. Oh, right. You feel me? Like, it's the go-to-all-goes to me. You feel me? Ain't nobody doing what he did. So that's why the singing and harmonizing and all your - I'm about to say, I really said that came probably just in the family.

11:55My family can, like, church, going to church and all that shit. Like, my family can sing. You feel me? So just me just, I'm about to say, God gifted me to be able to do music shit. Like, I can't say too much about it. That's just what came out. And then when did you start rapping? Was this like - I probably start rapping, I've probably been rapping like four years, but I'm about to say like really taking it serious was like the past two years and all that. I was going, starting off with my pops dealing with a lot of losses and shit, you feel me? So I'm like, you feel me? It was making me really go like, go wild and damn near get on some bullshit and shit.

12:28My pops ain't like lose his life and get killed or nothing, you feel me? He had a bad heart, you feel me? OG just passed away, but then it went from shit, my pops and then somebody like, I got kind of like a little brother to me, my sister baby daddy ended up getting killed. You feel me? Then shit, I lost my brother and my cousin, same night, you feel me? And it was just domino effect. Literally, my little brother, I about to say his repass, that night my brother and my cousin got killed. Damn. I about to say it was just domino effect. So domino effect. I about to say like in six months, I lost five people, you feel me?

13:03So I'm like, man, like shit, I think I'm damn near next, you feel me? Like what the going on type shit, you feel me? Like, something going on. Like, I know for a fact there was a dark cloud over the family type shit, you feel me? So, I'm like, man, I don't know what's going to be next, what's going on. Mr. Me, shit, I'm making just money just doing what I'm doing at the time, you feel me? So, I ain't know what was next. But I still was, I was with the music though, for sure. I'm just like, shit, everything I'm going through instead of getting on some bullshit, especially when my brother and my cousin got killed, I was ready to go ahead and, you feel me, do some extra shit about that.

13:32But I just put that shit into the music, man, and shit, shit just started escalating. I'm about to say shit, doing Decisions, on a debut at first, you feel me, that was like shit. That was the one that cracked up for you, right? It did what it did on the debut. The whole squad, the first song? The whole squad is my first song I ever did. Ever just written down. But Decisions doing that on the debut. You toss me that water. I be at like 11 million views right now on YouTube. Man, I listen to that, I'm like, damn. When I, damn, I forgot what I was doing. No, you're talking about Decision, because you said Whole Squad was your first song.

14:08Nah, when I did it on the debut, it definitely did what it did. It was like a week after my pops repassed and shit. So I was still kind of going through it at that time. But I knew that was the song I wanted to do type shit, because seeing the debut in that podcast and seeing the music that was coming beforehand, everybody thinks as soon as you hit a podcast, you got to come with some turn shit. You got to come with some shit that you know that's going to rock. And I knew for a fact, just when I first did that song in the studio and shit, I'm like, I know people going to like this song. Like, I just wanted, I got to get at it, be able to get it out type shit.

14:37And the video cool, you be doing like the little dance and shit. Yeah, that was a celebration dance just because I was happy that I finished this song for real. And I was just like, damn, like, you feel me? Like, I'm just in the studio. Like, damn, I just really just outdid this. But at the end of the day, I was just more thinking like, I didn't think it was going to go viral like it did. I was just like, no, I'm going to fuck with this song. You feel me? And shit. And shit, they fuck with it. That's what happened, shit. I ain't even peep that shit for the first two, three days though. I was still going through shit, so I wasn't really paying attention to my phone.

15:09Every time I looked at my phone, I was getting another call about a death type shit. Oh, shit. My phone ain't even near me at the time. I'm getting to sleep. I'm hitting a bottle heavy. Old time, you on my phone. You feel me? You just letting me know this shit. You feel me? So this is... No label, anything of all. This is just you. I'm about to say, this is when decisions, just when I first did the video. When I dropped it, I was about to say, I say the first three, four days, it was getting that attraction just going crazy. The first week and a half is when it had already hit, shit, damn near two million.

15:43After that, it was like damn near 1.5, 1.7 or some shit like that. Crazy. I'm like, well, then the first day, three, four days, my f*** is blowing my phone up. I'm seeing the cops. I'm like, damn. I ended up talking to my brother before he passed. You feel me? I was talking to him. He's like, do you not see you all on social media and all that shit? He don't like, hell nah, like what the fuck going on? He was like, nigga, you going viral. You on Facebook going crazy. He was the number one person telling me about TikTok. Like, boy, they liking your shit on TikTok. They liking your shit on TikTok.

16:13And he used to always, he proud to say like, this my little brother, you feel me? Like, you doing your thing, you feel me? But long story short, like I was seeing it, but I wasn't peeping it yet, you feel me? And then like when I clicked on Facebook, I was seeing all the notifications that said, I can't scroll without seeing my face. And then I go to Instagram, same thing, you feel me? TikTok, now everybody damn there making video. I'm like damn this shit happened. So was it a, was you pushing it on TikTok? How did everybody just start catching along? Shit I ain't really, I pushed it like once a little bit.

16:42It did good on my page, it got a good attraction. Now with my cousin Nick, you feel me now, he did that. Like that was like my manager before really going like, you feel me, like hitting the label and you feel me, track becoming my manager and everything. But Nick put it on his page and it went dumb. Like everybody, that's what went viral. Everybody sent it, like I said, and then Drewski shared it and all that type of shit. I'm like, ah, shit, it's going crazy right now. Emotion is motion. Nah, for real. I'm about to say, I ain't no shit about too much of this posting and hitting it like social.

17:16I mean, I knew to get on social media for sure. Like I ain't no old head like that or nothing like that. But I just ain't no like him just him posting it. Like, because I posted a different clip of the video and it just got a good attraction on my page. I'm like, okay, shit, like, I got, like, 200 ,000 views. He got 200 ,000 views and shit, like, 15 minutes, though, like, 20 minutes. I'm like, hold on, bro. I'm like, you about to skate past my shit. Like, what the fuck? He's like, nah, I don't think it's going to do too much. Like, it ended up getting, like, 3 million or some shit on his TikTok.

17:48I'm like, goddamn. That record right now to this day is one of his biggest records, and he's shooting the remix with G Herbo today. I was in the studio last night. It was crazy. Yeah, it was crazy. That shit fucked you up, like having somebody that was really in your corner and got to see you shine, but didn't get to fully see that shit. As for what, like my brother? Nah, nah, it was like, all the people that I lost, you feel me, they was definitely in my corner. They all with the music, so it was just, it played a big factor. Like I was definitely shitty. My brother seen it going a little bit, but he ain't see me make it, you feel me?

18:24How did you lose your brother? My brother and my cousin, they got stabbed up in the club. Oh, shit. Yeah. Y 'all kind of close to Chicago, so it be a lot of, like, street shit going on out there. I mean, it's reckless. It's reckless. And that shit was, I ain't going to get into that, you feel me? But, yeah, that shit was reckless, though. It's definitely a lot of street shit that go on. But that's more like with the younger dudes, though. It's like they in a war right now, you feel me? Your brother older or younger than you? Nah, my brother was older than me. My big brother. I was about to say bro was, I believe what, 32 when he passed?

18:59But it was just like, damn, he just did 13 in the joint. He's only been home barely a year just to get killed. You feel me? And it was just like, before that though, like bro was even, he was about to even, he just violated and shit. So he's about to have to turn himself in. I was talking to my brother this night. Like we was really beefing though, you feel me? Like on some big brother, little brother shit. Beefing about what type shit? Literally some big brother, little brother shit. Like I don't be liking how bro be talking sometimes. And I'm saying when he last seen me since I was 13, you feel me?

19:29So I'm a man now. You know what I'm saying? Him coming home and still like, I'm always respect you as big brother. You feel me? But watch how you talk. You feel me? I'd been through a lot of shit within 13. You been gone. Yeah. I know you've been through some shit through the, in the joint though, but like being out here and been going through what we going through, losing, you feel me? Right hands and left hand mans and shit. You feel me? Bitch, I'll smack you. Watch how you talking to me. My bitch broke out of my beard, it was the same shit. That was just more how we talked to each other. We had talked so much shit, we ain't gonna put, like you feel me, we ain't gonna put no hands on each other.

20:02Like if it came down to it, it'd just be, we just gonna fight, you feel me? You gonna make me wanna kill you though, watch out. You feel me? The bro was, he get it, like I can throw these motherfuckers, but bro, he was a beast with them shits, you feel me? And he 13 in the joint, you with the gladiators and shit, you feel me? Like it different, you feel me? But that's what really me up the most, you feel me? Like you was gone for a great period of time, you feel me, missed a lot of life. Come home barely. I get, we get one birthday with you, the best, like you look like a little ass kid, you feel me?

20:33Like my brother was gone at 18, ain't come home until 31, you feel me? So that's a big gap, you feel me? That's a huge gap. You know what I'm saying? So it him up, like, so like you seeing a grown ass man really be a kid on his birthday and shit, he having so much fun. Enjoying everything. You know what I'm saying? Just for everything to be gone type shit. Almost not to say it, but you kind of almost wish that he did violate and got sent back. I wish he would have left. I wish I could have took, like when we was talking, I wish I would have been like, come on, let's go ahead and just take this ride.

21:03We could talk the rest of me, Tony. Like, you feel me, Tony? You in instead of you having your night. Because he was really expected to get caught in the raid type shit. He was already knowing that. He like, uh. I ain't saying it's a good thing he gone, but like my mama always told me, like, don't Don't regret, not regret, but don't look back and be like, I wish, I wish, because like, man, God got his time, you feel me? It could have been some horrifying shit that could have happened if Cudd went and got locked back up. You feel me? I ain't saying he don't stand on 10, but you don't never know, man.

21:34God be doing shit for a reason. So, man. That's how the number one thinks it's real. He still gets to watch you, you feel me? So, it's like... So, how long until Track really got involved? You know, decisions is out. How long until track really like hitting your line? Like, hey, this is what we doing. I said track could hit me up before. I just ain't see the message. I ain't get this. I ain't see it at all. My page was going crazy. Everything was just changing for me. And just like, I don't know how much is changing for me. Like that, like I just see my, everything's just going crazy. I'm already like, before I even dropped this video, I was only like 6 ,000 followers or something.

22:12You feel me? Or something like that. And he already in the DMs with 6 ,000? Nah, it was in the midst of everything going up. It was just on the bus. Right before I dropped it, it was like, I'm 6 ,000 followers. And then like within a couple days that I dropped this, I'm like I already done skated up like 25 ,000 followers now. So it's still going up. I'm getting comments after comments. He had every label and everybody on the road. I ain't know like all the labels who was hitting me up, I'm asking all my guys like who was out of these people, bro. I'm so lost in the fake pages and all that shit, so I don't be knowing who, who.

22:45And then when I finally even did get the, because he hit me up for Melly Page, I believe, you feel me? I'm like, man, how the fuck is Melly hitting me up? Ain't no way. I'm like, damn, I'm telling my cousin or one of my guys, like, bro, ain't Melly locked up? That's the method. They like, hell yeah, they like, he done me. I'm like, his shit fed or something, right? You feel me? I'm like, so he came, he hitting me up, right? Like, ain't no way. Word, word, word, word. I'm like, I'm showing them messages and shit, you feel me? Like, artists and shit hit me up. Like, when Gates even reached out, like, you feel me, it shit fire.

23:14I'm like, nigga, is this really Gates' page? You feel me? Like, hell yeah, bitch, I'll follow his page. You feel me? When Rod hit me up, I was like, that's the label, because his label just hit me up trying to sign me. I met him, because I didn't even go up to him, because I'm thinking he probably don't know me. He came up to me. I'm like, oh shit. But nah, I be thinking that shit, too. I be like, that ain't with me for real. Nah, real shit. That's the label. So I ain't think none of that shit was like real. So then when you started taking it serious, when you took his DM seriously, like, oh, all right, track, this is really true.

23:44Nah, actually, we - I actually met him in LA. Yeah, I was about to say, I was invited to the, to what, 300 camp at the time? Yeah, that was last year, this time. I was invited to the camp. And yeah, this is all just - When you say camp, this is like a writer's camp or? Yeah, artist camp. So I was invited to the camp. I was talking to a few of the guys and shit, and track star walked through the door. Oh shit, so it was actually a thing. He didn't invite you to the camp? You just happened to meet you? Nah, yeah. I'm about to say, I think it was his last day in LA. So who invited you to the camp?

24:16I was invited by 10K. By 10K and 300. Which I was explaining to y 'all his situation, which is very unique too. He had a very brand new, unique situation. Nah, for sure. I was just talking to a few of those guys and tracking it up coming through the door and all that. We've been locked in ever since. He's like, damn, hold on. Y 'all had Big Rob here and y 'all ain't let me know. and all that I'm lost. So you already kind of know who he is. Yeah, but I didn't know who Trek was. So I'm like, damn, who was he? You feel me? But he looked like somebody. I'm like, damn, who the f*** is he? My cousin.

24:48Did you feel like, is that the first artist that you signed that was already signed? Or that you started working with? Oh, okay. So you helped him officiate the 300 deal as well. Everybody was trying to grab Rob, right? Okay. And like he said, it was so much going on at one time because he had the biggest record at that time. Like Decision was one of the biggest records. Like this is a 9-1-1. Like every label is trying to grab this guy, right? So they doing the rounds and stuff. We pull up. I see him at the stuff, but Nick knew who I was. And Nick was like, nah, this track. And then he connected me with Rob.

25:24And that was just like his previous management. And then we was just talking. And then from there, I think I flew him to Miami. And he stayed. Well, you stayed with me for like a week in Miami? Out there, yep. And then from there, we just locked in ever since. Stayed at the crib, you know what I'm saying? Had a few of the guys with me. We checked out, balled out. And just vibe, because I really wanted to, because the thing with him, he was like on some stuff like, bro, I don't even know if I want to sign or do anything because this is all new. Like, this is happening at one time. I'm like, bro, forget all the business.

25:50We was in Miami for like a week. We ain't talk no business. All we did was vibe, like, you know what I'm saying? Chill. What made you know Track was the one? Like, all right, I'ma fuck with him. You said you got everybody reaching out. It was more like probably when we went to Miami and shit and it was just like everybody, everybody, you could tell everybody want, like everybody, of course everybody wants something. Everybody want, like, they want to get you and all that shit, but it was just, I don't know, like, even when I bought a few of the guys out there, like, with me, because I'm like, shit, I'm like, shit, can I bring a few people?

26:18They're like, shit, how many you thinking? You feel me? Like, yeah, come on, bring them, you feel me? And then we all got a genuine, you feel me, vibe out, like, from them. And, like, they had, they were chilling with them, talking with them, playing the game with them on their own little time, doing their own little thing. And they tell them, like, bro, I really f*** with track bro, like he really cool than the bitch. And I'm already thinking like in my head like man, I might go ahead and do it. I done talked to a few labels and shit, I got a few other people to talk to. Shit, even Gucci done reached out, you feel me?

26:44I'm like damn, I might not go with Gucci, but I do want to get games from him. 1017 curses a little. Know what I'm saying, that's what I was thinking of, but I'm like shit, if anything, I ain't never, it could have been bad things about track and if I f*** with him, we gon change that, you feel me? Like if I were to f*** with 1017, we was gonna change that shit, you feel me? We was gonna make this curse, we was gonna make this shit like, ah yeah, 1017 did this for Rob, you feel me? Whatever, but now this shit I got 100K, you feel me? Like shit, we about to do this for Rob, and we about to pop shit.

27:13You made the right decision too though. Yeah, and that's what I get from everybody. That's what I was like when we was going out and doing our thing for that week, and we was just hearing it everywhere. That's what everybody kept saying though, and I just kept hearing it like this. For sure you did. You feel me? I'm just like, damn, it ain't like he telling them to say this shit. You feel me? They just saying this shit. You feel me? Track got you, man. You see it organically, and you're like, all right, bet. Yeah, and then when we was going out, off the bat, he representing me as his artist, and we ain't even locked it in yet.

27:42But I felt like I was, though. Like, shit, I'm his artist. We here, we here, we here, we here. And then everybody telling me, like, hey, you made the right decision. Track going to do the shit that other CEOs lacking nowadays. He going to make sure the artist is looking. He put the artists first all the time, you know what I'm saying? And he do this shit. Like, a lot of rappers, like, I was just saying, I was comparing him to, like, Yo Gotti. Like, Yo Gotti, the only artist or CEO who I really see makes sure it's a thing. Like, hey, I'm going to come do the interview and have my whole unit here.

28:11We're going to present each other as a unit. And that shit work and go a long way. So, like, nah, for sure. Linking with track, 100%. I'm fine. Yeah, bro. And, like, I was telling Adam and Bimo earlier, too, bro, Rob, man, listen, bro. Like this is a very intense game, data driven game. Yo, this, yo, this demand numbers. He's hungry. He's hungry, but his numbers and like the traction he have and the core fan base he's building is crazy, bro. Like he's really one of the ones that's like, his fans is like hardcore, like riding out for him. Like he dropping songs on YouTube, getting millions of views, Spotify, millions of plays.

28:51But his like the comments, like he'll post something on Instagram we get 50 ,000 likes. You know what I'm saying? And like 5 ,000 comments on just like, oh this is the rawest thing I ever heard. It's so new, it's so different. And you know what I'm saying? He's all, like he never once like went into that like mind frame of like, well I made it. Like he's starting from scratch, like just working every day. That's how you know you gonna go far as shit. Cause like you, bruh, don't never feel like you made it. Big hungry as shit with a full plate on God. Nah, I just know this shit, it changed my life for sure.

29:25You feel me? Like, just four or five months ago. You probably never hung out with a dude like him before. Nah, nah, nah. You feel me? I ain't gonna say not a dog, like don't get it to us. We got some cool ass white people in the NBA. Okay, okay, okay. You feel me for sure. It's a different breed though, let's get it. But he different though. Like, Ben, he Florida, he got that accent and all that shit. Like I told my fuckers when I first kicked it with him in Miami. I'm like, man, 19, really cool than the bitch. You feel me? Like when I see on social media, you know, everybody look different when you see him.

29:53I'm like, I'm like, bro, probably he look like he annoying than a man. I'm like, but bro, like that was just like the only vibe I got from when I first popped out with him. I'm like, bro, it's really chillin' and a bitch, though. Yeah, we was cooking in Jacksonville. Nah, but so, you feel me? Brought me out there. Was that the first time y 'all met or was it at the show? I think we met before. It was the show, right? Because I brought Rob to one of 19 shows in Orlando or Tampa that he was booked for. Nah, yeah, we met, but that was my first time when we went to Jacksonville, like, well, we was vibing out and shit, you feel me, for sure.

30:23Yeah, yeah. And everything, like, we just kicking and shit, and then, like, I'm like, you know what I'm saying, like, bro bringing me out to perform with him and shit, like, you know what I'm saying, like, and then, like, track brought it out to my attention, like, you should go out there and whatever, but like, he ain't have to, like, let me, he could've been like, nah, this is my shit, whatever, you feel me? Yeah. He wanted me out there, and he showed love with it, though, so we just like, ah, yeah. Yeah, you gotta be my brothers and shit, too. I know, yeah. How the rock started all this song coming about between y 'all?

30:47We was in Jacksonville, a goddamn home. I had pulled up like all the way from goddamn Broward all the way to Jacksonville. I pulled up in the wheel with the hoes with my brothers and Tunkville. That was a long drive. How long was that? Six hours. Six hours. Six hours, like five, six hours or something. He like, yo, where you at? I'm in Jacksonville with Rob and G Herbo. He like, I'm pulling up. I took y 'alls on the Expo if you went. Five in the morning. He pulled up bro. High five him up. I'm like, I ain't been, I ain't been. I'm about to come, I'm coming to Jacksonville right now. Right now.

31:21He was in the road. Oh God. I was scared. I'm like, bro, it's, you so, I'm waking up like, bro, you still on the road? Yeah, bro, I'm good. I'm like, all right. I'm like, damn bro, I gotta keep calling you. Make sure you ain't sleep driving or something. Like he coming. God show up when you go to sleep. He gone. Don't have it. Or you want an ex really. Oh God. So you got an ex like Adderall, Adderall crazy ass baby mama. That's what X is. That record came out so hard too though, man. Yeah, you and Herb. So y 'all was locked in the studio last night. Y 'all got some shit on the work? Yeah, we about to go crazy, man.

31:53Video. I wasn't even going to say nothing about the video. Oh, yeah, he brought it up, man. So, you know what I'm saying? Nah, because I want to shock everybody though. Like, you know what I'm saying? You wouldn't have thought Herb would have hopped on it. You feel me? But we live in an age where people don't go that crazy with the remixes anymore, but it feels like G Herbo has kind of like... Oh, he's on fire. He's kind of like the guy that you call when you need to turn your single up. Remix God. Yeah. Especially, especially again, Jerobo remakes right now, it's one of them ones because he don't have to do it.

32:20And to be honest, like me and Jerobo got a long relationship from PTSD tour with King Von. Word. Cause he brought King Von on his first tour. Know what I'm saying? Paid him and just really showed love. So when I reached out to him for Rob, he listened to, he knew who Rob was. He was like, oh yeah, I heard this, this the pirate guy. It just shocked him. It shocked him when I said it. They be saying pirate guy. That's what they be trying to throw on you? Pirate man, pirate guy, whatever. You feel me? Where'd that come from? The sound? I don't know. It's my voice, I guess. Man, bro, you got a unique ass sound, though.

32:51Like, I ain't gonna lie. I'm hearing it. And then, like, when people say they hear me talk, though, they be like, you don't even sound like that. You don't sound like how you rap. Like, but when you get to harmonizing, it's like - It be a vibe very time. Your shit, like, you got that monotone. Super distinctive. Like, you can hear it. You like, oh, yeah, that's Rob. For sure. What other, all right, besides pirate and shit, what other rappers and shit they try to throw in there? I can see the Kevin Gates shit a little bit. Early Kevin Gates. I about to say people say early Gates, just a little bit.

33:17I about to say it was like, you kind of give me like a Mo3 vibe in your own way and all that. They compare me to people, but then they say like, you just - But you still in your own way. Yeah, for sure. The comparisons just come with this shit. Yeah, I about to say I don't be tripping it up. Like I don't be knocking nothing of it. See look though, they ain't shit, cause they only doing that cause you kind of look like both of the ass. There's no good look, bro. They do that with me, they be comparing to Ian and shit. I mean, we white. We both white. Yeah. We what? You don't really sound like him at all.

33:45Yeah. Oh, we rap completely different. Yeah. Nah, but I'm playing. Who does Rugrat sound like? But he has so many sounds, bro. I ain't gonna lie to you. Rugrat is like the Rugrat y 'all hear now is like... I'm about to say to me, he sound like his own... He got his own thing. I down there, like, you know how Sosa be like rapping like Gucci Mane and Jeezy sometimes? Like, that's how I rip it with Sosa. like I am like Sosa is to me what like Gucci was and Sosa like man we've been like tapping in more with like the underground scene and stuff and like a lot of the artists people are playing for me it's like oh that's like Chief Keef in 2012 that's like Thug in 2012 it's kind of like a lot of underground artists are doing throwbacks to an earlier version of artists that are still around but like their older style.

34:33I think like, bro, I just heard Jit Blue. I don't know where Jit from. He from the O. Yeah, he from the O. Bro, Jit sound like Chris Brown, but he rapping on like Chief Keef. Like damn that Chief Keef. Like, what's that? What's that boy band, the kid group? With the Jits. Mindless Behavior or some shit. You know, that's the group. Mindless Behavior. Yeah, yeah. It's like a mindless behavior, like Chief Keef beat, and he making the beats. Love Blue? Love Blue. Yeah, Love Blue. And he sing like Chris Brown. That shit make no sense. Might be Love Blue. It's gas, bro. But yeah, I say most of my influence come from old Thug, old Chief Keef, goddamn Gucci, Jeezy, OJ the Juice Man, goddamn Kodak.

35:27Definitely. I got songs where I damn now rap just like him in my bar. But Phelm done mastered. He shot me this trip because we went at the camp. He just played six, seven songs with a new flow. I'm like, God damn it, man. When I lose my voice, I be like, This is a Lambo tweaking like a damn dope. I ain't damn near like that because I can't really crack a guy that A. You see how it sound all fucked up? Did you know that Cracker got an AR shit was gonna take it where it went? Like, did you know everybody was gonna be repeating that? I didn't know, but like, I knew that shit was like one of the hardest shit.

36:04You know when I play it? Nah, I be like, I barred the out of this song. I barred that bitch up crazy. Like, it's a barring every second. Like, that shit. Yeah, nah, you was gonna be crazy. Yeah, like, gotta get back on that. I'm slipping. Cracker with a big stick. Call me Cracker Barrel. That was another one that really stuck with me early on. And I was like, oh, God. The cracker bars really works. That's what really captivated people. Also, one thing I be thinking about is I can't mud it. Because if I be like, I'm a real lad cracker, then a black person can't sing that song and relate to it. So it work with cracker got an AR, because you could be talking about your homeboy.

36:43You could be talking about your cracker. Yo, crazy cracker. Everybody got a crazy cracker. You feel me? Yeah, if you go into the like, if the musicals Like I'm very, very proud of being white. That might be like a weird angle. It's not relatable. Not even that, like, it's like I refer to myself as such sometimes and I got to refrain from it in the music because then, like, a person can't, like, relate to it. You know what I'm saying? Type shit. Because I only got white fans. Rob, who's somebody else that you would want to work with in the future? Like, if you had, like, to put your dream album together, like, who you want on your project?

37:21you're already coming you coming in strong with the herd feature michael jackson ai damn be wicked that'd be fire i'm gonna keep getting better i'm about to say ai is going crazy anyway for sure i will i will want to work with yay too though like that'd be weird i think that'd be crazy i don't know about right now he be doing some crazy shit well now he's on his apology tour he did he just did an apology he might be good oh he's what i got going on i just want to look at I love music for motherfuckers to hear. You see me? But a few people I want to work with. Like I want to work with Yak, you feel me?

37:55I want to work with. Yeah, I feel like that's going to be. I got a Vaughn record for him too. That would be gas, bro. Hold on, hold on. Yak's so different. Because look, when you do a song with him, he going to go off what you do. Yeah. I feel like you should hop on some shit that he hop on, and then he go off of your flow. Just like how you did with the rock star. I'm sure. Shit, Youngboy energy and then like shit, I got my partners and shit, they love that too, you feel me? So I wanna do a record with Youngboy. He said some shit though. He said he got a Vaughn song for you. You heard that? Nah, I ain't heard it till he, hey, the track always got some shit.

38:32And I ain't never knocking. How many Vaughn verses in the cut? Nah, for sure. For sure. I said like two full projects and then, you know, a couple pieces. And you still like overseeing the projects that drop and shit move on and everything. I got, that's what I'm saying with Rob, like with Vaughn next year, I'm gonna, you know, like give some workers out to a couple artists, artists that I feel like is rising that fuck with like the new generation, like Baby Drill, Big Rob, a couple, you know what I'm saying, a couple other like, you know what I'm saying, younger artists and stuff, or even, you know, like the Polo Gs or, you know, other people.

39:09So next year Vaughn's gonna have more like features with other artists dropping records. night and then we'll work on a project later on that year but i definitely just strategically have to pass them out yeah there's a fire verse that i got for vonda i would like him to do a hook for that'd be hard i'm good with them hooks man yeah i'm already know and they're going here and i'm like yeah now i already see it like and then bro in the corner that we finna bring on too like between every that y 'all got y 'all all superstars in my eyes i know your pirate i know your pirate Dad good with the hook.

39:43Let's bring No Limit TC in the building, man. That boy got the voice of an angel. Oh, the angel. Nah, he finna come hop over here, man. So we sitting down, they be calling me Officer Remo, so I heard you Officer Clayton. What? Yeah. So what up, man? Nice to meet you. Let's give him some lure. I don't think I don't know the lure. So you used to be a security guard? armed security armed security for how long four years word word and then that was uh you was doing that all into the rap shit well not even rap but like until your music career started taking off or like yeah i always been rapping but i did armed security that was my once i turned 21.

40:28how old you now 25. okay so you were doing that for what four years yeah about four years damn okay do you think that like helped prepare you for the rap game to understand some of the threats out there? No, I'm from Kansas City. Yeah, oh, so you didn't really, it wasn't that kind of security? Nah, it was that kind of security. I'm prepared. What? He's saying Kansas City get like that. Get like that and get the gritty. That ain't just Patrick Mahomes out there motherfuckers. Thanks. Do better, Patrick. I is. Do better. Get a little serious for a second. Do better. Aw, man, Patrick, he ain't holding up.

41:03We love Pat, though. Tell us a little bit about growing up in Kansas City. what that was like and everything. I mean,

41:12it's like everywhere else. They got hoods. Really. It's just a lot of killing. A lot of young people die fast. Really? Really. In the city. But other than that, I mean, it's cool. If you mind your business, probably won't have a problem. But then again, it'd be like the mutuals. Yeah. Like, it'd be a lot of shit. Because it's like, it's not like, like out here don't they got like bloods and crips or whatever we got a million different kinds of crips and half of them don't get along with each other yeah it's like it's like neighborhood where crip mac at bro it was neighborhood you gotta let me meet goddamn lefty oh i got you i'm gonna get you a crip mac verse oh yeah i need that everybody keep it five five five five it's not set banging it's more like neighborhood banging it's like neighborhood But then it's like, it's weird because you could have it trickled down.

42:08I feel like it's like neighborhoods. Then it went to cliques. Yeah. And then it went to like just groups. Like it's weird. So like if you if you I'm neutral, you know, I'm trying to put on for Kansas City. Yeah. How do you kind of stay out of getting involved in the politics? Or did you? Yeah, I'm out of the politics, but I know him very well. You just got to know who you are. really and uh don't let that it's influence don't let influence uh get in your head in the city what's the gun laws like in kansas city we can you can do anything all right because i'm gonna say you said use an arm gun yeah arm security yeah you can carry anything you want yeah so being an armed security is not like you do you have to like do any training or anything for that or like when i first started out i went to like a little camp like when i was working for titan and all they do is spray you with mace.

43:04Word. Oh, one of those like TikTok videos? Yeah, it's like they spray you with mace. And they be like, here, this is how you put handcuffs on. Word. Or like first aid. It's a lot of first aid shit. But that's. And that was just majority of it. But like, all right. But you said you started doing that at 21. Like it wasn't like college or anything. Like you always knew you wanted to like. Did you want to be a security guard? Like how did you even get in that lane anyway? Nah, I fuck college. I didn't like school at all whatsoever. I did school and did my best because I was playing football type shit.

43:36Other than that. What position? The end. Oh, yeah, yeah. Big pop. You motherfuckers big as hell, dude. All right, so you playing football and then - Playing football, but it was like, I was working at, I had like Slim Chickens. I was working at that. Luffy's, it's a fish shop in Kansas City. Boy, that 9-5 grinds on a different one. That's what I'm saying. Every rapper should have to work for a couple years. Yeah. And I found out about, I think it was Garter World or something. I got a job there. Literally, I'd call in the boss after I got hired. I'm like, hey, I'm here. You know, what do I do?

44:10He's like, just sit in the parking lot. That's all you got to do. And that was the first security gig? That was the first security gig. What is Garter World anyway? They like a company, like a security company. All right, where it is. But I did that shit, and I'm like, what the fuck? Man, I fell asleep in the car, woke up. So it was like easy money. Yeah, it was easy. Once I found out it was easy money, I'm like, oh, shit. But it's also unbelievably boring. Yeah. It's a give or take. You know what I'm saying? It's boring as when something happens. And then even if something happens, we're security.

44:38So it's like, what am I going to do? Many times in my life, I've just been looking at a security guard just sitting in a chair. You're waiting in line at the bank or some shit. And you're like, that dude really going to be here for the next 10 hours today? That's crazy. But then I upgraded. That should be smooth, though. my brother got my fault my brother got a goddamn security job so you smooth it's smooth as fuck literally i was writing music at work that's how i how i got through it but working at westport was different when i got when i started doing armed security that's kind of like different because they put you in spots where you gonna need a gun like type shit so that shit was kind of different and track kind of found me right in the perfect time because it was getting crazy so So wait, how much motion did you have before a track fan?

45:25How did that come together? Everybody knew me. Okay. Yeah. I wouldn't say everybody, but I mean, I was - But you was having motion. You had a lot of labels hitting you up and everything? I had one. Okay. But you only had like two songs out from what I've seen, unless you deleted all the old music or something. I went on your YouTube channel and I only could see two songs that was on your YouTube channel. You got to look up Apple Music or something. Oh, so two music videos out. Yeah. I made a decision to take down some of the old music videos I had just because of the quality that I was putting out after.

45:55And it just looked better. So what songs you feel like had track and everybody paying attention to you earlier on? Parental Advisory. Parental Advisory. All right. So that's the song about your song, right? Yeah. Yeah. All right. So break down how that song came about and the mindset you was in when you made that song. I had an argument with my girl. That's how it happened. And that's exactly. I went to the studio. I just so happened to have a studio session that day. And then boom. And that song is super fire, by the way. Thank you. Thank you. Vocal talent. I'm like, damn, this nigga can sing like a motherfucker.

46:27It's crazy that it came from a real life situation. Literally. That's where the best music comes from. God. And the song is called Feed My Son? Or what's the name of it? It's called Parental Advisory. Parental Advisory. Yeah. But yeah, that song, I heard that song. I'm like, oh, yeah. Track got another one. I'm hearing it. I'm like, oh, yeah. instantly I could hear this is a hit song. So like, you recorded it because you said you record all your music at Colerad Studios? Yep. That's where you recorded that one at? You still with them? I didn't tell you that. This is what I do, man. Yeah. I was just thinking about that.

47:01I have to know that. You're No Limit TC. No Limit TC, man. What does No Limit stand for? That fucked me up. No Limit, it's No Limit to what I can do. Yeah, No Limit to what you can do. Not like, because you know, No Limit is like a group of Chicago niggas. Bro, it was like. And a gang. And a gang. No Limit was like. Allegedly. Me and Darius, R.B. Ace, my boys, we was No Limit boys. We was throwing parties and shit, doing shit like that. But they changed their name, I think, to Full Speed. They full speed now. But I kept No Limit TC because of shit. That was my rapper name. He was on my disco. And what TC stand for?

47:36My name. Oh, word. Like government names. That shit word. Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha. So then, so track. When is track getting into play? When is... I went viral, bro. I'm at work. Chilling. AB, the Mac, comes up. He a streamer in Kansas City. Young. He came up to me. Put the camera in my face. After you viral or at this moment? No, this is how I got viral. All right. He talking shit like singing ass. And we talking shit back and forth. I like, I'll gas you right now. Don't get it confused. Because people always come down from the hood to see me at work or shit or talk shit. You know, it's all love.

48:14He posted it on Instagram. And it got like 3 million views. Like, it was just going crazy. Everybody hit me up like, TC, you know you going viral. You at work, though. You know what I'm saying? Like, your music is on there, but you at work. You in your uniform. Oh, yeah, because you didn't want people to get you. I mean, I didn't. Yeah, I thought I was. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Damn. Yeah. You been. Yeah, nigga, I paid. When I heard the song, I had to know. I'm like, this is. Officer Clayton, Officer Remo. Oh, God. He was under watching, my boy. I thought I was going to get fired. My boss was like, what the f***?

48:50You rap? Why didn't you tell me? This is amazing. I'm like, oh, shit. I'm like, I'm being there. I don't give a f***. And then I think track DME, he was like, because I think I posted something like, yeah, I'm going viral. Hopefully I can quit my job and finally do what I want to do for the rest of the world. rest of my life and i think track dm me was like you were serious about your post and i didn't even know who track was so i'm like who the is this like dm me saying this shit like what track was like send me your number i sent him my number we facetim quit your job yeah i quit my job how how soon did you get to quit your job after he asked you like you two days after two days or a day nigga like he made it happen yeah he made it happen so that first all right for sure and people have been hitting me up you know little deals and shit but when he got at you it made sense yeah word yeah so then all right so you go from track hitting you up to you quitting your job two days later so from you are you still in kansas city like after you quit your job what goes on from there like still in kansas city is a grind we just put music out but now you got some money behind you.

50:06For sure. It's way easier now. That's why I feel like this sound that I'm just doing now, and I do all type of music, so it's like... Car rap is the asshole. We cook some shit. Yeah. We cook some crazy shit. He remind me of Kendrick for real. No bullshit. He can rap, bro. I seen you say Kendrick is one of your favorite rappers, right? Yeah. Influences and shit. For sure. Because people always say that people outside of LA don't really listen to LA rappers that much. I guess Kendrick would probably be the exception, but he just always resonated with you? Yeah, just growing up listening to him. I was always in band and shit, bro.

50:43His jazz funk beats and just everything just really, it just worked for me. That's just what I liked hearing in high school. I was in band, playing the drums. I was in jazz band and shit like that. So I've always been tapped in with the music shit. So he was just like, damn, this is hard. What the fuck? And the beats he was using, I'm like, this is fire. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Section 80, Good Kid Mad City, like, what was it that took you to live? Section 80, but really the heart part one was the song that, like, I was like, I want to rap. Like, what the f***? Like, this is crazy. And that's what, I feel like that's why he's my favorite.

51:22So were you, like, really loving the Drake beef? Hmm. I was not loving the Drake beef. Why? Why is that? Because Drake is Drake. He hard as f***. The melodies, his singing. I'm a singer too, you know what I'm saying? So it's like, it was, it f***ed me up. But I'm like, I mean, I picked my side. So you're just 100 % Team Kendrick no matter what. I didn't say that. Oh. So you're more of a Drake fan. I didn't say that. I didn't say who's side. So internally, inside your own brain, you picked a side, but then publicly, you stayed in Switzerland. I picked my side, bro. I fought with Drake. Just Drake the long way, I'm a dog, bruh.

52:04Yeah, shout out Drake. I mean, I kinda picked my side at a certain point in terms of the Drake thing, and then you just gotta ride it out. It's like, shit, you gonna lose this beef and I'm still riding it out. Nah, but I fuck with everybody, bruh. Drake be showing me mad love, bruh. Oh, for real? I didn't even know that. Like, Kirby, like, he had, I posted one of my brother's music videos. He had, like, my brother shit, that shit turned the whole hood up. We was all so lit about that shit. And then I hit him up. I hit bro up on his birthday and got him. He had hit me back. He was like, I seen him on Freestyle.

52:33Them bitches hard. Yeah, yeah. He cool, people. Yeah, Drake pay attention to everything. He probably already know about you, nigga. I'll tell you, he pay attention to everything, bro. Nine times out of ten, cause he got, bam. He tapped in. That'd be crazy, man. He ain't hit me up yet. But let's see if Drake will respond to the Big Rob video. I'm going to send him a video right now. Just tell him. Yeah, do that. He broke up. That man be tapped in. Nah, Drake do be tapped in. I seen you said, uh, like... He might be talking about, he might say he already seen it. Oh, God. Or he might watch it right now, like, yeah, I already seen this shit.

53:08You know how niggas be doing that part too though. But Drake be tapped in. I send him stuff once in a while and then like, if you don't respond, I'm like, oh, does he already know? Like, am I just a lame for thinking he doesn't know about this? Late to the party. Oh, you seen the shit he posted with Sexy? The tennis little post? Sexy posted some Photoshop shit. with the swole ass on her. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, God. I'm f***ing up about her too. She fine. You know, I f*** with Sexy Red and s***. I love fine, man. Shout out Sexy. Who else were your influence and s***? I know you said Kendrick. What else did you...

53:39Bro, I took a lot of influence from everything. That's why I'm so versatile. Like, you can name an artist big, you know what I'm saying? And yeah, I take influence from everybody. That's what makes me, you know, who I am. You said you've been rapping for like five years. thing i watched one of your interviews you said uh used to reach out to a lot of people yeah and they you know used to like never respond back to you yeah and uh it made you feel a way but now like it makes sense you get it now though because i've been one of those people too like before i got to where i was at i used to reach out to people and shit and fucking see the vision until they see the vision yeah so do that change your mind though now that you get in this position like are you still gonna be like mindful like all right maybe they just didn't see the shit or do you still hold people accountable like ah you didn't see my shit i ain't with you still uh it just make me feel like i gotta work harder it don't i'm not holding them accountable because they didn't like yeah why would they be looking for me i need to work harder so it's in they face it gotta be undeniable and i get how the game go now it wasn't planned for them to see me yeah or us to meet or us to talk you know what i'm saying now is the time no i feel that right and you know i feel Like, everybody finna slowly be finding out who No Limit TC is real, real, real soon.

54:55No, yeah. You guys both are, like, super clear indications of track just, like, still having his ear to the streets and just, like, really being able to somehow repeat the same thing. And not just finding, like, artists just to say he has an artist, but actually finding, like, real talent of, like, people that, like, I could easily hear out on Billboard Top 100, like, constantly over and over again. Because we always talk about that, how it's kind of easy to spot a dope street rapper, but then ultimately, what is the longevity? A lot of dope drill rappers, you kind of look at them and you're like, this song is hard, but I don't know if I could really see him taking it to another level.

55:35I'm taking it as far as I can to the top. What's your recording process like? Are you writing shit out? Nah, I just get in the booth and go. It's been a vibe. I got that tism, you know? Everybody flexing that tism. That's real, though. It's hard to explain. It's hard to explain. You go in there and it just come. You want to put ad-libs on that bitch sometimes. You want to go to the next song. You want to listen to that bitch. Man, it's on to the next one. Boom, boom. So tism is like the new aura word, right? It is a vibe, though. I used to always try to write and prepare myself to get in the studio.

56:12but when you do, you feel me, you catch that vibe and it's hard to explain to somebody for real. So I can feel them when they talk about the tism, but it's like, for me it's like shit, it's just a certain vibe you get when you just catch that rhythm and then you go. For real though, the flow come out harder. I had last night I was freestyling and I had, the next beat come, I write like four bars, I get in the booth, I say, I didn't even hit the four bars, I rapped for like a minute freestyle. Then I like ripped the four bars freestyle for another minute after that. And four bars that I wrote was the worst part of the song.

56:50Actually, you reminded me that when I first met track, that that was kind of like part of his superpower is that Melly, I've never seen anybody record like this. He would just get in the studio with the beat and just be howling, saying so much crazy shit. And then as soon as he got done doing that for like 10 minutes, track would go over with the engineer and be like surgery, really telling the engineer, like, nah, take that part. move that right there, move that. And I'm like, bro, they must have a crazy relationship if he's able to actually pick apart your verse like that and create something.

57:19A lot of those Melly songs that people love, track is all up in the mix. His fingerprints are all over that shit. It's crazy. Suicidal, Got Down, a few other ones. And I was cooking some last night with Montana. He pieced that bit together, So Gas. I ain't even put a hook on it. I was finna have it like, me rap, Montana rap, me right montana right and it'd be like eight sixteen sixteen like another hook but he pieced that bit together so crazy the hook nuts oh god so track really on his producer so when i hear stories like that how how uh how involved do you let track get in with your creative process uh he don't he just kind of let me not but he kind of yeah he kind of let me do it unless it's like a certain song that because bro i'm versatile i can do anything like anything on the mic i can do unless he has a certain thing that he wants like yo i want you to do this like try to do like something like this you know i'm saying then yes but other than that he just let me just like i was in i was in the studio the other day he wasn't there but he called me was like hey you gotta open boom and that's how me and rug rack you know i'm saying like oh yeah like when i'm with chat chat gonna got down because chat know i don't make hooks bro like i don't do that like i just Get in there a bit and I just like - That's how I came up with Rockstar.

58:37Yeah, like I just rap and then like whole time I don't be realizing there's always a part of the song that I can make the hook because I say some catchy shit and get the flowing. So track be like, when track in the booth with me here, get on that. But when I'm dolo, like my engineer be doing that. I got a good engineer I'm really locked in with that like be keeping me on my shit because I just like to like rap, bruh. But I ain't gonna lie, bro, I be around with the auto-tune, all types of shit, too, but that just be, I be fried, bro. I be in the booth so much, I can't just, I can't just do one thing, bro.

59:11Like, I can't just rap this. Bro, you ever, like, bump an artist and, like, four albums, and they all just got the same cadence? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Like, what the fuck? Like, I like Yachty. I ain't gonna lie, I love Yachty music, because he switch it up so often, bro. Bro, Yachty's going on a run right now, and I don't think people are paying attention. That shit with Skrilla, bro his verse he killed - I fought with Skrilla but I ain't gonna lie he killed Skrilla on the verse. Bro the verse he put on Kodak's album is crazy. I don't even listen to Yachty like that. Yeah, yeah that shit I love. Yeah.

59:43I need something to do with that. Like Kodak whole camp we bumping that shit bro. We over that Yachty song I was going to a weed convention the other day in Miami. I heard that shit for the first time and I was bumping through the album. I don't know what the fuck Yachty be on. Y 'all he going on the run. Him and Herb having them runs right now where they hopping on everybody's shit. And that concrete shit show gas, bro. DC and draft. Yeah, what's up with you and DC relationship? Cause I know y 'all locked in. Sometimes I don't even touch the hotel when I get to LA, bro. You just pull up. DC crib the whole time, bro.

1:00:17That's my dog. Yeah, man. He rap his ass off. Yeah, man, I'll follow DC. How it happened was I reached out to him when I first blew up. Cause I'm like, I was a big fan. I'm still a fan of bro, for real. 2016 I had Yachty set up to do his first interview and he just walks in the room with Coach K and I'm like brand new to like interviewing rappers but I know who Coach K is and I'm like what the f*** are you signing him he's like yeah that's my because keep in mind at that time all he had was Migos, Skippa Flippa and OG Maco so like Yachty I'm like I thought you only fuck with street dudes I used to manage Gucci you know you man and like in the middle of the interview he says he loves Soulja Boy Coach K boom on the Texan Soulja Boy like yo I gotta to get y 'all together.

1:00:56They were beefing like a month later, but. I don't remember. Nah, but DC, yeah, I had reached out. I'm like, I had, he pulled out of Miami. We cooked some shit, but we really was just in that bit. Like, we pulled up. Cut buddies. Yeah, I'm about to say, I already know. That my joint buddy, bro, I don't got it. So got down. And then his brother Hazel. I'm with Hazel, DC, and then Draft. And then Camo was in Miami too when I met them boys. and goddamn after that we just kept linking up and shit i'm a dog now baby okay bro dc a cool bro they don't know he got so many stories he been in this shit for so long bro like bro that man like found chief keith address back in the day and walked up to the crib tato walked up to the door tato walked up to the door clutching he like oh the la crib he was like He was like, bro, I got drinking hoes, bro, I'm your neighbor.

1:01:57I swear, bro. That's a crazy way to look up. Man, DC cool as fuck, bro. I bet Tato was appreciative of that. Hell yeah, he's like, come on in, nigga. Yeah, what I'm saying, yeah. Got drinking hoes, come on, man. Yeah, we be in Paramount. We be cooking at Crea, all that. I fuck with D Savage out here, too. Yeah, I fuck with D Savage, man. I was mad as fuck. My label didn't clear me to be on the album. Oh, for real? On his album, because my album was about to drop, and I was mad as shit. It was a song with me, D Savage, and Dave Bluntz. Oh, wow. Dave Bluntz and D Savage be cooking up all the time.

1:02:30The song they got Donut, My Label Ain't Clear. That's crazy. That shit pissed me off bad. Damn. So, like, they just... You feel like they're micromanaging your career? Like, they're picking and choosing what looks they think are good ideas? I feel like it was more so they was thinking too much about the marketing aspect of the album. and not thinking about like bro like that shit damn near could bring streams to the album. To the album, yeah. Y 'all understand who D Savage is bro, like this is a real life like legend bro. Like that's my dog but I'm not ever going to like look at cut no different than that.

1:03:05That's a legend bro. So it's like that shit piss me off bad. I ain't gonna lie. You know that's crazy though. But nah, my label be doing good for me bro. It was just that it just be little shit. But just little shit like that and you be like damn man. Yeah, it's industry shit bro, it's label shit. Bro, y 'all know it be tricky. But at the same time, you know, like the label is who's supposed to be working to make you bigger. So it's like sometimes, you know, you do kind of just take a backseat and be like, I'm going to let you guys call the shots on this, I guess. Yes, it's a tricky one, man, because I see rappers try to go independent all the time and it don't really work out the way they thought it was.

1:03:41I feel like that shit got to be tricky, too, because like you independent, you don't got a label to push for clearances and shit. Then what other label is going to clear anything for producers or for artists or whatever. So that's where the term blackball and get goddamn thrown around. Because if you go independent, how the fuck you going to get a feature clear from an artist that maybe was on a label that you used to be on? You know what I'm saying? Or whatever the fuck. Even if that's your best friend, the label would be like. They be doing a little shit behind the scenes and having them grudges and shit.

1:04:17Yeah A lot of labels Got beef that We don't even know about Bro oh god And they switch over Like It'll be a guy Working at this label And the next year He's at a whole nother label You know how that shit go But man So like What's the music scene like In Kansas City though Like is it Like a competition Or Yeah It's very promising I'll say that Throw some names out there Some artists and shit That we might not know But like People if you're from Kansas You will know Kansas City Kansas City I mean yeah Kansas City. Get on that ass. You gotta let me know. He said Kansas City, nigga. The whole Angel crew, so me, Scorpio Season, Lil Bean, Shanann, and Better Days.

1:04:57She make clothes. Oh, she's a rapper that make clothes? No, she's not a rapper. Oh, that's your people who make that shit? Yeah, Better Days. Gotta get me some shit. I got you. I got you. I got you. That's the people I'm pushing right now. I'm gonna push everybody else when I get a little bit bigger. I feel it. For right now, it's the angels. Did you really just hit me with this in the DMs? Yeah. Y 'all ain't sure. The thing like that where you're like, so now you're supposed to punch me in the leg? Nah, you gotta slap you on the back of the neck. That's the neck. God damn it.

1:05:31He has an open DM with me and that's the first thing he says. Ever? Got that ass. Got that ass. I just peed his red on the right and blue on the left, that'd be black. Yeah, that's all right. I fought with that. For sure. So the angels. Yeah, angels. Corrupt angels. C.A. Word. I'm gonna be on the lookout for them, man. For sure. So y 'all doing, we gonna get a compilation project out of all y 'all and shit? What everybody got in the works? I was thinking about that shit, bro. When we go to these camps, we need to just make a whole collective album on some shit, bro. That shit will be tough. Like how they do Dreamville and shit.

1:06:08We'll be harder than Dreamville. I got a few things in the works, y 'all. We already spoke on the video. Yo. Nah. I ain't gonna say too much on the other shit, but it's coming out. You feel me soon though? For sure. Yeah, nah, for sure. Cub, you looking like a bad-ass kid. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm about to say, even as soon as I go back to the crib, I'm about to shoot another video. So you feel me? Oh, hell yeah. How often y 'all in the studio nowadays? I'm in there four days a week. I'm about to say, me as a man, I can't really say like four days a week or nothing like that, but it's been way more like often than what I like doing.

1:06:40I used to just picking two, but now it's like, Shit, that's my life now, you feel me? I wasn't even thinking of being a rapper at first. I was just trying some shit out, but seeing that my life changed after shit, shit, that's my job now, so I'm in that mother. You having fun with this shit? Nah, for sure, like then, like even when I, like, as long as I got a beat, I feel like I got something, for sure. Like I used to, like I said, I'm a writer still at the end of the day, but when I don't got the writing, like, and I still got the beat, so I just go in there and let the shit, let the music find me and shit, just, I rock out and everything.

1:07:12So yeah, I'm still having fun with this shit. That's the only way you're going to keep really going. Keep going, right. Just by having fun with this shit for me. Got to have fun with this shit, man. Because you stress out too much and all that. I mean, stress going, shit coming, you feel me? Like, I definitely believe in the same shit. More money, more problems for sure. But shit, you got to. Yeah, but I said the music shit. That's just how some people who don't even be real vocal for real. Like, I be a nervous motherfucker. I don't even like talking for real like this shit. I be like, I ain't going to say even nervous.

1:07:38I just don't even like shit. I just don't even like saying too much. I read this shit. I speak it out of the music though for sure. I mean you go through it your whole life. You don't got to talk to that many people. And then all of a sudden you're a rapper. You got to talk to like 100 new people every day. It's different though. Nah, it's very overwhelming when you become a celebrity overnight. It's like you got something that could keep you busy 12 hours a day if you choose to do it. And it make you money. And it make you money. There's nothing better than that at all in this world. Like as much as people like might like hate like the limelight or anything that come with this shit, this shit is the easiest and best job in the world for the people who love it.

1:08:15For real. Nah, facts. Oh God. I don't love it or your ass ain't going to make it. For real, that's how I look at it. You don't love it, it's over with. I can't go a day without hitting the studio today. I'm making sure I get in the booth. Cause I told me I got a studio today. For real. Like, if I don't got a session booked, I'm going to eat them down south. If my main studio all booked up, I'm going to a different studio. You popping out in the studio. I'll go to Trippie Redhouse and record some shit. You can come to my session. What? On God. Type shit. Let's do it. Let's cook. Let's cook. On God.

1:08:46Let's go. I'll be cooking like a crackhead who got the recipe. Like a rich crackhead. On God. Man. Oh, man. Yo, appreciate you guys pulling up. For real. It's been dope. Shout out to my man, Track. Yeah. I'm glad we finally got to do this. I need to get to this point. Yeah, yeah. I need you to say something for me, bro. Okay. I'm going to record you saying it. All right. Say, Scorpio, shut your fat ass up. Okay? Hey, Scorpio, shut your fat ass up. People actually come up to me a lot and do that kind of thing.
