In short

Doodie Lo and Remo discuss Doodie Lo’s life and career, including: Remo’s recovery from 12–13 years of lean addiction and multiple overdoses, Lil Durk paying for celebrity rehab, Remo’s experience getting robbed/shot while filming a video, and the fallout rumors around Gucci Mane allegedly “telling” on Pooh Shiesty. They also cover street-cred narratives around OTF/Dirk, feds blending in at concerts, and music-industry turning points (Drake/Dirk collaborations).

Guests (who they are)

  • Doodie Lo: Chicago rapper/artist and host (No Jumper interview context mentioned).
  • Remo: Doodie Lo’s guest; Chicago street figure and music collaborator closely connected to Lil Durk/OTF circles; Prince Dre is described as his cousin.

Key claims

  • Remo says he got clean after Durk sent him to rehab in 2023 (30 days; he describes it as “celebrity rehab” costing about $110k/month) after overdosing and nodding off.
  • He claims he overdosed twice in rehab, including one incident where he drank two pints immediately and later required an ambulance.
  • He says he was shot during a robbery attempt (gun jammed; he was hit in the thigh; he needed therapy; recovery about two months).
  • He argues Gucci “telling” on Pooh is hypocritical given Gucci’s long history of street/robbery themes.

Notable examples

  • Dirk’s “Fed case” is discussed generally; Remo says he talks to Dirk daily and describes Dirk as positive.
  • Remo cites the Drake effect after “Laugh Now, Cry Later” and says after Drake’s verse/video, they stopped going to airports and moved by jets.
  • He references Gucci’s “Crash Dummy” and a past Gucci feature/video with Dirk.
  • He mentions introducing Dirk to Shiesty and studio sessions with 30 and Pooh Shiesty during the pandemic.

0:00Legally, we can't say drinking Storm makes you smarter and more focused. But with zero sugar, 200 milligrams of caffeine, and immunity support, you're smarter and more focused for drinking Storm. Storm, good energy in, good energy out. Energy for life. Doodie Lo, No Jumper, coolest podcast in the world. In here with my man, Remo. We burning the late night. Oil is 742 right now. Hopping on this. How you feeling? I'm feeling good, man. I'm feeling real good. And you got no respect for our podcast because you're over here about to get your hair done while we're doing the podcast. Nah, it's some fresh shit.

0:35I respect it. No, but I just got off the flight. I got to get right. Nah, that makes sense. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You've been traveling a lot lately with you in LA for? What you out here for? What brings you to LA, man? I got working. Working on my new album. I only got a name for that bitch yet, but I'm working. You overly working because I'm seeing you everywhere. Yeah, hell yeah. I'm seeing you in Prince Dre. and somebody else y 'all just dropped the song. Pistol Poe. Word, and y 'all from Atlanta? Cause y 'all was at Magic City. Nah, both from Chicago. Word. Y 'all shouted out Magic City, the outside Magic City or something, right?

1:07Yeah, and then y 'all had Prince Dre on it. Who song is it? That's Poe's song. It's really all our song. It's so crazy, we was in the studio, right? And Dre was just in there twigging like, I'm like, keep that, that's the chorus. Why y 'all hate? Don't be hating. Nah. I think we're all just a little in awe. We're finding out how this works. Y 'all ain't no duty low known for the ball here, fuck. Yeah, yeah. I respect it, man. You get the same barber on deck? Or how you doing? You ain't been to Turkey a few times like that. He the only person in L.A. come on in. Yeah. You went to Turkey? Yep. And I got the local joint done, too.

1:45I've had a couple over the years. That one, you might as well get the duty low. Yeah. No, I did. I had it for a while. The fans actually kind of treasure when I had a shaved head. So you dyed your beard, too. like that? I don't even try to hide it. I'm on here like one day, hella gray. Next day, super black beard. They don't really even say much. They'll probably mention it more now. Hey, I'm proud of you, Adam. Really? Yeah, I'm proud of you now, bro. I wasn't expecting that. I calmed down? Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You was getting crazy. You hear me mention you in the interview the other day?

2:16Yeah, I liked it there. I liked it there. On some real shit, all jokes aside, I started seeing how the shit was really going Like, you know, like you get into something, it's like almost like a movie and you get into the movie a little bit too much. That's why I called you. I'm like, I'm like, real life for real life. You know what I'm saying? Not saying even there's no specific person. Like, so I just always wanted you to stay in your lane so you wouldn't ever have to be dealing with that type of shit. But don't be a pushover either, though. Stay on your ground, but let people deal with their own shit.

2:51The game that you gave me was kind of like, don't be fooled into thinking that just because somebody is kind of a goofy, that they don't necessarily got time to get your ass dealt with. Yeah, the goofies ain't got nothing to live for, so they're going to crash out. Yeah, they ain't got the most to prove. Hell yeah. Somebody who's on top of the world, yeah, they might not give a fuck about you. But if you're talking trash on people who are a little bit closer to the ground level, they might have a little bit more time for your ass. Give us some content. What did Adam do that you like? I learned that Adam 22 versus the GD shit was going on with the whiskey drama and stuff like that.

3:28And it was getting a little heated for a little while there, you know? What up? He remember what I'm talking about. B &W in this bitch. But, yeah, it was just like, I just felt like he was getting into too much of that shit. Drake in this bitch. Because, like, he never used to really put his input. He'd make you tell. Like, niggas get mad at podcasters because they be asking the questions that's already on the internet. So I can't get mad. It's on you though, how you answer or what you answer. But when you start getting a little bullshit, because I feel like you got a time. You know when I'm a f***ing bully and you, I feel like Adam was feeling like m***h kept trying to go on them.

4:07And at a certain point you spend so much time around the rappers that you start, you know what they do, and so you start doing all the s*** that they're doing, and you start realizing that all the tough s*** that they do, they ain't really doing. So you figure, wow, I can say all this crazy s*** too. It's just kind of like a bad path to follow, you know? Uh-huh. I'm proud of you, man. No, I appreciate that, for real. Sean, proud of you, nigga. Appreciate it. My boy, you off the drink. I can tell you, and it'll be clear. Last time I seen you, you're overly loaded. What? Me yakking on? You remember that night?

4:39Oh, yeah. I remember that night. I remember that well, yeah. So what got you clean off the drink? Because you got to think, everybody else, like, Smirk, my mama, everybody, they wanted me off of it. I feel like when you want to kick something, you got to want to do it yourself. So, like, I already wanted to do it myself. I got tired of depending on something to make me feel like I got to live. What was the final straw? The final straw? Yeah. Just, that shit wasn't fun no more. That shit wasn't in your ass, hoe. It used to be fun. Yeah. It ain't fun no more. It used to be fun. lean especially like all the shit early on the flavors of the sodas and just getting slumped i mean here and there i don't really got too crazy with it but a little bit if you had a pint right now i would definitely indulge but i know how bad it is for me and my lifestyle like i know i'm not waking up at eight tomorrow feeling good if i'm drinking lean tonight you know yeah it just takes away so much from your life like while you're doing it you're all slowed down and up the next day you're grumpy and it's just there's so many things that go along with it and Like everybody, not everybody, but a lot of people feel the need to learn that lesson for themselves, you know?

5:52I ain't going to lie. Like when I was going through the withdrawals, that was the craziest shit ever. Like it was to the point I didn't want to get out the beer. I wasn't taking a shower with none of that shit. So how you get all the way through? Shit, just push through. Like after I feel like after I pushed through, it was like I started really like, I'm like, damn. I wake it up in the morning. I'm like, damn, birds still chirping in the morning. Like I ain't know like I was tweaking I'm like damn this the real world I was numb off that shit For 12-13 years Straight What was the situation cause Dirk spent 100 ,000 You said Dirk spent 100 ,000 Dirk spent 100 ,000 for you To go to rehab right I was sipping to rehab How do you even get lean in rehab

6:43He's looking at his homies like Y 'all did it You know that we did it Let me ask you this. How long you was in rehab? 30 days. That's like 110 ,000. And Dirk paid for it? What kind of rehab is this? Celebrity rehab. He was coming in to cut my hair. Where was it at? LA or Malibu? I heard that number before too. Like 100, 110 for a month. It sounds insane for a normal person, but that's like 3K a day, which again, insane. But I was spending 3K a day on lean. But what's the situation where Dirt like, I mean, I got to throw this nigga in rehab. Zoo, right? I was at the crib. We had just, I think, I don't know.

7:25We was just getting off the 7th. I don't know what to. No, I went to 7th, 2202. It was like one-off shows and shit. And I was 9 off on live and shit. And everybody kept calling my phone. And then. Wow, that worked out way too good. I was nodding off And then one time we got from a show And I was overdosing on my mama's feet And I didn't want her to see So I hurry up and flip myself On my back Then I went upstairs to my room And laid down and poured another foe And then shit While I was pouring the foe, Dirk called me He's like, hey bro, if I send you to rehab, would you go? I'm like, hell yeah So I'm not knowing this shit For to be that quick next two days I was gone.

8:14That nigga sent you off that quick. Yeah, he like slides to LA. I come, I'm thinking we finna record and shit. I'm talking to the intake lady, you hear me? The first day I went, I drunk two pint. Go look at the rehab. What year is this? What year was that? Three? Probably like two. No, that was 23. Alright, so 2023. Yeah, around this time. All right. And I mean, you just started getting it in rehab like instantly? No, I only got into rehab twice. Was there part of you that felt like, damn, like he's spending all this money to help me get clean? Yeah, that's why I stopped at the second day. Like the first and second day I was drinking.

8:54Because they know. Like it's easy. They had all motherfuckers that do all them hard-ass drugs. Right. Lean. I Uber eat some shit. Yeah. Some In-N-Out Burger and shit. Then I had a month. You know how they see on the top? But I Ubered it for pickup. And then I had my homie poured a drink up in the motherfucking room. Oh, wow. And had him sell it back. Then I sent the Uber package to go get the shit and bring it. So I woke up in the middle of my sleep and I sinked it. It was Fatburger. I bit the burger. I threw that bitch across the room. I sinked that cup. I killed it because my mouth was dry because I already drunk two paints.

9:34They say when you go to rehab, you try to get the, like, this is my last time getting hot. So you already loaded. I got up, so I drunk it all. Next thing I know, I was out, and then I was overdosing, and the ambulance was in front. But before they let them in, like the HIPAA law, they was making sure I was straight, but my heartbeat started coming back. Wow. Damn. Yeah. So how many times do you think you overdosed? Because that's twice, you said, so far. Like twice. And then I never used to like perks. I mean, I never was like a perk. One time, Zoo gave me a 30. float. We was at the studio and he kept having to pour water on me.

10:12I didn't know what a 30 was. I would never take that shit. I had to NARCAN. The 30 was that bad even after all those years of drinking lean? Yeah, I can't do 30. I'm a Xanax baby. I hear that. Damn. That's crazy, bro. So after rehab, have you mostly had it together since then or have you relapsed a few times? I have relapsed a few times, but this the longest I've ever been clean. I've been clean for like eight months. Nice. And life is just way better. Yeah. I drink sometimes I can't go to sleep. It's this little melatonin lean type of shit. I drink. Is it weird because part of the thing with lean is that you just end up with friends where you form these super tight bonds because it takes a lot of work to get lean.

11:01Sometimes you got to be running around on tour, getting in and shit like that and then actually drinking. No, you come with me, man. No, you come with me. I just feel like a lot of people make friends through lean and that probably you run into people where that was the main thing that you had in common. And you got to think we was always on the road, so I met a lot of people, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. That's how I got all my relationships with people is through lean, for real. Oh, now I get it. So you were the Desto Dub. It's a little pump, but it's a little dirt where any random city you go to, you're the juice man.

11:31You got to make it happen. If anybody called me, I don't give you a fuck with Italy. I get it. I got laid in Dubai, nigga. So where you got to pull this side and this side together. Yeah, I seen some shit like that on Vice, yeah. Yeah, you was in Paris. You know that shit, ain't that? No, I never did it, but I heard people talking about it and shit. Yeah, it's like the Mathesine and the Codeine. That shit turned yellow. I hired a bitch on the Emirates. Damn. Damn, my boy. Well, travel like I'm up. What's the craziest? Because think about how long you been in the rap game, you say, right now? How many years?

12:07like being serious since me and Von dropped me and Doody Low. That's when I really took it serious and I started having fans like when me and Von dropped me and Doody Low. Because I was always like getting hustlers. So I was like, how the fuck is I'm not finna give up what I know for this shit. Then I seen six figures off some shit I ain't gotta spend my money on make profit. So that's when you started like, alright, I'm gonna take it serious. What? Who, all right, so who was the main person that you was around first for OTA? Because earlier, before the cameras cut on, you said Dre, your cousin.

12:41Yeah, Prince Dre, yeah, that's my cousin. So Dre wasn't in the relationship? No, it was like E-Day and them and Wook. All right, and where you know them from? Like, especially E-Day. Just like, you know, streets. But Kankakee, like, how far Kankakee from Chicago? Like 40 minutes, 45 minutes. All right, all right, all right. so just rotating around you met them and that's how you got cool with Dirk and everybody. They used to come out there and we used to party like can't keep them there like it's like it ain't no country but it's like it's like it's like a little small town. Was that like a duck off spot for them?

13:19Because you know when you're in Chicago. I wouldn't say duck off spot but yeah like to go have fun we all take them to go ride to go I mean not go karts but like we out there riding four wheelers and shit you go look back at the Glocked Up video. We were on four wheelers and shit and shit like that. Having fun just like, you know, something better than Chicago. For sure. But like what was the origin of you and like Dirk really like forming that level of friendship though? Like was it, were you like the dude who was still super in the streets even though he was already like popping as a rapper and so you were able to kind of help in that regard?

13:51It wasn't that I was super in the streets. It was that like me, Wook, and Lil' Ernie was so close. Dirk ain't like me at first, bro. Really? Yeah, no. Not that I didn't like me, but he was like, that's his best friend, my best friend type shit, you feel me? So I was like, nigga, what you doing down there with that bald-haired ass dick? Then he ended up coming out there like, damn, Rudy, cool. This in 2010, though. Wow. Forever. Yeah, this 2010. That was like before Dirk was popping at all. He probably didn't even really crack off to like 2012 or 2011. Yeah. Damn. That's crazy. So we're 26, 16 years.

14:33I mean, shit. It seems like you the closest nigga to Dirk. Nigga, you like 50 cent to Tony Ayo. Dirk. I talk to bro every day, man. How's his spirits currently? Bro, his spirits, huh? He called play all day, man. Yeah? Hell yeah. Wow. He called to play all day. What's the type of shit a nigga wouldn't even think Dirk on like that'll throw him off because like everybody probably think that he down and out but you talk to the nigga like he like he really on his like positive shit he on his positive shit like I reached out to Ruga and shit and you know he told me reach out you know what I'm saying yeah reach out and let us send us like his his his alarms to him you know really yeah for the moms and he want them on the album, on his album.

15:25He wants Ruga on his album? No, he want The moms. Yeah, the moms. Wow. That's serious. Because you gotta think the last show where he was pushing. Yeah. And he just want to let him know everybody can change. And people probably think it's because he in jail, but nah, he was doing this before he went to jail. Yeah, because that's the biggest thing everyone's trying to say. He tried to do all this because he knew the Fez was coming and shit. He really wasn't changed. Who the fuck don't know the Fez coming? The Fez is coming. They ain't telling you they coming. You hear me? Yeah. So there wasn't no signs?

16:02Because that's one thing, too. Hell no. J-Main and a nigga said at that last show, they said they felt like the Fez was in the building and shit. Did you feel like - That's any show, though. Like any hip-hop artist, any type of artist that they feel is a, you know, and then that's Chicago, so they going to security. That's like a young boy up in Baton Rouge or some shit. Because the way they were describing it was like, oh, there's like two white guys dressed kind of nice and normal in the front row at the concert, which definitely you would notice and probably think that's a little out of the ordinary, but it's not like you don't know.

16:38That's not out of the ordinary. I mean I'm just picturing like you know 40 years old looking super serious like I don't know Bro the feds blend in mode they ain't trying to stand out you see them in suits looking super serious they ain't trying to let you see no shit like that It's not like every cop is a white guy too so Damn you ain't lying cause these niggas be the police too So y 'all y 'all ain't feel like there was the feds watching y 'all and shit like that wasn't the energy that was giving off Hell no You know how I felt? I felt on some real 100 shit too. After I got off stage, it was just like, I was really like in a trance, bro.

17:21Like I was really like, a lot of shit was like just, it did feel like kinda weird though. Not like how people say like Fizz, I wasn't thinking like nothing like that. It was just more like, man, this shit weird. But it was fun. It was fun as hell. Everybody popped out. Sexy Real popped out. Wham popped out. It was fun. I mean, like, even him with J-Main at that time stood out to everybody a lot. Like, oh, shit, he's growing a lot. And then you fast forward to right now when he's having you reach out to Ruga on his behalf. Why he in jail? So that should tell you something. Yeah, yeah. Kind of tells you.

18:00In that case, he'll be like, man, all that shit. You feel me? He ain't got to do it? He ain't got to do it. I just seen Ruga put in the interview. He said it in the interview. Oh, really? Okay, because he has a new interview with somebody. I forget, yeah. Yeah, he was an asshole about somebody else. Well, I forget, but we did one, like, maybe a month ago. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Definitely. Ruger's a smooth dude, man. For sure. You watch him fight with K-Mac the Great? Yeah, I wanted him to get his ass whipped, bro. I ain't nobody. Damn. You got to think. I'm like, everybody was wanting to ever get his ass whipped.

18:31Why y 'all rude against Ruger, man? Not rude against him. Y 'all from Chicago, y 'all got to stick with him. Yeah, but I wanted him to get his ass whipped, bro. You know what I'm saying? A lot to you. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I was wondering that. I was like, is people in Chicago going to kind of like root for him because he's from Chicago? Or are they going to root against him? I was happy for it when he won. Yeah. And you popped over there. You like, this is big. But that was big. That was like Javante Davis and somebody. Because I'm having to explain to Neon. I forget that these fools don't know anything about the street shit.

18:57I'm having to explain to Neon. I'm like, you know, you were in Oblock last week. He's like the big bad guy from Oblock perspective. He's like the rapper they don't like. Yeah. And Neon's like, oh, shit. Like, he was scared to say GD. He's like, I don't want to say GD. I'm like, you can say GD. That's okay. Neon, funny as hell. Yeah. You f***ing Neon? I'll f*** with him. Yeah, I'll f*** with Neon. Who y 'all favorite streamer? Oh, that's hard. I don't know, like, watch a lot of streamers. I think Aiden and Kada Goat, but I'll f*** with Aiden. He don't stream no more, do he? Nah, he gonna pop back out.

19:29But Neon, the hardest working streamer, though. I'll say that. Yeah. And he gonna stream every other day. Yeah, I just see him with my boy, Bob Minery last night. Yeah. Bob my boy. Bob a gangster. Bob out the box, man. He from the box. I thought that was some troll and shit. No, yeah. He was trying to fight Kyle from Nug Boys, but now he's fighting somebody else. I forget who. Alcohol. Alcohol. God damn. Like a frying pan. What, your head? That alcohol. Oh, okay. Had to get the Vin Diesel right quick. So that's it. He don't got to do nothing else to it? Nah, we ain't even halfway going to live.

20:03Oh, shit. All right. I don't know. No.

20:09god damn all right so um all right what else we got to talk about here um you got into a situation a little while back where you ended up getting popped while you were moving around a lot of narratives going around tell us uh what you can about how the situation went down me being bored me being me you gotta think i ain't used to really sitting down too much so shit i was shooting a video pull up on one of my homies and shit someone ain't had no business being some shit transpired you feel me yeah and it was i can say like on that end i don't come not to to speak too much about this shit. If I wasn't shot, it'd have been the other way around.

21:03Cause I want, everyone don't know like, hey Remo, give me your shit. It was, man, if you don't get this gun out my face, I been shot six, seven times already. So I ain't really scared to die. Like I been on some shit like to where I done been shot in Kankakee and I'm just laid there. You play Warzone and you bleed out. I done tried to be like, man, you know? God wasn't there, so I knew I'm here for a reason. But with that situation, it was just like, I feel like wrong place, wrong time. Then, you know what I'm saying? But you was shooting a music video and a nigga just trying to book you for your shit?

21:41Nah, I was shooting a music video around the corner. Word. And then I popped in somebody's hood and shit. Word, and the nigga in that hood just was on that? Nah, I was in the trap house, bro. I was tweaking. Oh, word. Yeah. What you know what happened to the best of us? You know, everybody take L. Yeah. This shit hurting my pride so much, though, because the whole time in my head, I ain't even thinking about getting something like, man, my shit on the shoulders, and I'll be with you. Yeah. But at the same time, like, I felt like I needed that. I feel like everything happened for a reason. Why you say you needed that?

22:19It humbled you or something? It humbled me. Word. Yes, it humbled me. In the sense of what though? In the sense of I almost forgot who I was But you were moving around Okay you were moving around Kind of like nothing bad could happen And that kind of gave you the reality check That you need to be more careful about your life That too But I'm saying like I'm still Duty But I don't look at myself how other people Look at me You see what I'm saying? So people are like, what the is you doing over there? That's like if something happened to you in Kankakee, I'm like, what the is Remo doing in there?

23:08I ain't gonna say no rappers name, but they was calling like, dude, what the is you doing over there? You're not supposed to be over there. Like that ain't, what is you doing? Especially because, you know, I don't know how much truth there is to it, but there's a narrative that a lot of people associated with Dirk and OTF have been shot or even killed over the years, basically because Dirk's unreachable. But there's people in his life who are moving around much more relaxed and that people might seek out revenge on them. No, it wasn't no shit like that. And even... Right, but there's a possibility of that.

23:44And that's like another reason why you need to be careful, you know? Yeah, I feel you. But and then I want to clear up some shit, too. Yeah. The dudes that was trolling who had like took. They I told them I get them a honey can. They put that shit on their neck and show that shit. You chain in a watch. Oh, it ain't. I put it on the Internet. Just show me. Yeah. I'm talking about the people who really posted it. They had nothing to do with that shit. What they book you for? A watch and a chain? Yeah. Word. You ever get it back? Yeah. I don't want that shit back. Word. Word. But you're saying that basically the people who took it gave it to somebody else who flexed and they didn't they weren't the actual ones that did it they had nothing to do with that shit damn I wasn't even and I ain't even the type of nigga that be trolled or dissing the dead I never did that so it was like alright even when that bitch played with me FTE and Bate now you see that bitch turn Christian and all type of shit like I just take the good as bad as ugly man you wear this shit you go with this shit you take what come with this shit Yup.

24:48What I'm gonna do, cry about it? You wanna see me and Izzy text? You know? Now it just showed me like, I don't even really wanna wear no jewelry to be honest. Yeah. And I don't know shit like I'm scared of nobody gonna take it. It's just cause shit. Like now I just know that shit don't really mean nothing to me. In that moment though, when the nigga was trying to take it from you, you said that was reflexes of you trying to like - Hell nah, that was me, I ain't going. You gonna have to kill me for this shit. and I could have died bro, the gun jammed. And then you ended up getting hit where? In my thigh.

25:23So his gun, like it shot successfully and then it jammed? It was just like, you know, I don't want to get too deep. You know what I'm saying? It ended up going off and you got hit in your thigh. I didn't even know I was hit. When he turned around, that's when I knew I tried to... Word and you couldn't, yeah. I was trying to get to where I need to get to to get to his ass. You hear me? But it was one shot in the thigh? Yeah. And how bad were you bleeding? I was f***ed up. Really? I had to go to therapy and shit. Oh, okay. But were you, like, at risk of bleeding out on the way to the hospital? Hell no, I don't even smoke cigarettes.

26:00I was so mad. I was just like, give me a cigarette. By the time I was in the emergency room, that motherf***ing Sadie Nash broke the news. Yeah? Oh, here you go. You're getting some more clout. There you go, Siddy. What? Siddy and that's going crazy. You've been getting a lot of clout lately. He doing his shit. He doing his shit. Yo, but I mean, that is kind of like every time I ever, like, imagine getting shot, you always try to think of the bullet just going right in the meaty part of your thigh and not, like, hitting anything too important. No, that's the main part. That's where your artery is.

26:32I mean, I'm just hoping my femur doesn't snap in half from the bullet. Bro, I got shot four times in one in the same leg. Oh, yeah? I wonder what that mean. Sit your ass down. What? How's your mobility, though, after being shot all these times in the leg? Could you run? Hell yeah. Okay. I ain't gonna lie. It really hurt when it rains and shit like that. That's some weird shit. I got a bullet in my spine. By my spine. I think they can't explain through science why it hurts when it rains, but I've heard so many people say that. That shit. It's a problem where I stay in the bed. Yeah. I ain't getting out the bed.

27:09That's crazy. How long was your recovery time when you got hit? Like two months. Two months? Before you could really be walking around good? Hell yeah. One time I had a dream. I thought I could walk. I tried to go pee. I got out the bed. I fell. Boom! That shit really hit me. That shit me up. Damn. I'm like, fuck ass niggas. It'll make you want to crash. Yeah. But that's what people want you to do. They want you to crash. But I ain't gonna lie, anybody that ever did something to me, bro, because I ain't no bad person, bro. My good outweigh my bad. God always took care of them. But does it make you question times in your life where somebody that maybe you didn't get along with got robbed, a shot or whatever, and you were maybe clowning them?

27:59Does it make you think twice about being that callous? Yeah, I don't rob me, folks. Oh, yeah, first dance. You know what I'm saying? So it's like shit, what goes around comes around. You got to take what come with this shit. When it happened to you, you just got to stand on 10. Look at Gucci. He ain't stand on 10 though. That's what I'm saying. But allegedly, I don't know if that, I mean, I know that that's an open case. I mean, it's saying Roderick Davis on the paperwork. I can't believe him before I grew up to folks. So yeah, what was your thoughts? Because you probably talked to Pooh recently since he's been out.

28:36What was your thoughts when you initially seen like damn Pooh got locked up and then on top of that. I just put him on Dirk album bro. Oh shit yeah. I heard that song is insane. That shit crazy. Damn why you here? Cause I heard it. Somebody was. Oh you heard it? Yeah somebody was telling me that they heard it. Shit. Yeah that shit hard bro. That shit hard. I ain't gonna lie. But I'm like damn. It better be hard bro. It made like the biggest classic ever last time they did a song. So let me ask you this though. So what was your thoughts when you hear Gucci man. Then all right, Pooh get booked, and then Gucci man supposedly tell him on shixty.

29:10I have to see the paperwork first. Then when I see it, I fell down to the leaves. I was like, okay. That shit, man. You gotta think though. Gucci, Gucci, like we grew up to Gucci. Gucci was taking shit right allegedly, you feel me? Like in his raps and shit. So we, that's weak. I ain't saying we no followers, but mother who really? He birthed a lot of niggas in this shit, man. Yeah, like, you know what I'm saying? Bro, like, people didn't want to fuck with him because he was so notorious for robbing people. Like, he was so famous for robbing people in Atlanta that in the beginning part of his career, it was, like, hard for people to even fuck with him because his reputation was so bad.

29:51Exactly. Then you do a song. What was the song called? Crash Dummy. Yeah, basically explaining how the nigga crashed out. We made us crash dummies when we were shorties. Damn, so you feel like he a hypocrite. Yeah, yeah. Were you around him when Dirk did the video with him? I was in the video. Oh yeah, that's what I was thinking, yeah. I wish I could take his ass off that feature. Okay, what was... Hold on, this is important though. What was your impression of him while you were around him that day? I'm like, damn, this is Guwop. But that was my first time being around him. But we was in Eastland, I'm in this hood and everything.

30:25So from your understanding, and the song him and Dirk did, how many years old? Like two years old, right? Mm-hmm. So you was still underneath the understanding that he moved and operated as a street nigga. Yeah. Based off that song and how he talking. Every song that Gucci dropped, he talking about some street shit. For sure. Episodes and all this shit going through it. He must have had a real bad episode, I guess. So it ain't no, once you get out this shit, when you get older, like ain't no, I'm an exec now. Not for Gucci, bro. Not for Gucci. Yeah. You did so much shit. And then you just dropped a song.

31:02right before this time out. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. I mean, he's been making fun of the guy he killed for like 20 years. Bro, they was just standing on the side of him when he was talking about Pookie Lo. Yeah. It's kind of hard to say you're not a street dude when you've been doing all that for all these years. Let me ask you this. Did you know Pouchouch he was disgruntled with his paperwork? Like, was that a talk y 'all had? Nah, hell nah. So you didn't know he wasn't with the... I don't even know about none of this situation. Yeah. I just know Gucci bogus. He lied on them boys. And you know, like, like, like, like, got a lot of rappers, like how me and Kodak is.

31:46Yeah. How me and Moneybagg is. How me and Shice did 30 and them. Like, they was, if you go back and watch a million dollars worth of game, when we bought that million dollars on the block. Yeah. I really introduced Dirt to Shiesty at 30. And I'm the reason, bro, you can go look. Go look back, y 'all. I'm the reason Back in Blood song is really, you feel me? Yeah. Well, so, all right, what was your relationship with Shiesty? How y 'all getting into it anyway? Just we, in the pandemic, we all back had a studio. This Atlanta? This Atlanta. What studio this is? First class, it ain't that no more. Shout out Dre.

32:30But Bag had a studio. 30 and Seisty had a room. Dirt had one. And me, Vaughn, and Meemaw switched out of one. But I was bouncing back out of all the rooms. Word. Sounds like the best time ever. What? Just like so much fun. You got to think, that's when The Voice came out. That's when we shoot. That's when he did that feature. That's when me and Doody Low came out. That's when crazy. I mean, not crazy story. That's when, you know, everybody was going up. All right, let me ask you this thing. Because, like, Dirt went on a run when he first came out. And then he kind of, like, had a slump. And then he had another just gigantic run.

33:15What do you feel like was the start of that run? Turn it up, Josh. We'll make it out, came it out. So what year is this? Break it down, set the tone, when you felt like it started heating back up. Right before, when he dropped Making Out, and nobody knows, when he got out of that, when he got out of jail, when him and Vine got out of jail, felt like he started back heating up. Word. And then, shit, we was at like, I think Dirk was at like 60 or so, then he did that laugh, not cry later, Next week he was at$300 ,000. For sure. So you feel like the Dirk shit really just overly just turned everything back to where it needed to be.

34:05Dirk. I mean, Drake. You talking about just like the music? Drake shit. Drake shit. Laugh now, cry later. We was in arenas. We weren't doing arenas. We was doing, what's that, Roxy Theaters, man? What's that, bring us out to some arenas? You know? So tell me the shift, because at one point, alright shit regular for y 'all the Drake shit happened and then you already know niggas start moving acting a little different I didn't know how big that shit was until I actually felt how big it was when did you feel it when you like yeah this is it I felt that shit in the comments the fake the Drake effect is real but you gotta think it helped both of them in a way cause it gave Drake the trenches and they gave bro a whole new look.

34:59What was the moment or why do you think him and Dirk did that song? Or him and Drake did that song at that time? I remember us sitting in the studio and shit. This the same day he made When We Shooter something. And shit, he was like, Drake just sent me a open. Folks kicked everybody out the studio. He did that verse. I'm like, I said, that's it. I didn't know how, I didn't know that shit was that big. I'm like, oh, yeah. Because you got to think we been around these people, though. Yeah. But actually getting a song and a video to change your life. And having to be a big song. Because you think like Dirk is already so big that, you know, he's done songs with a bunch of big rappers and shit, but then like the Drake thing.

35:44But it's levels. Think about Michael Jackson. He a real superstar. He can't really do nothing. So it was to the point where like We can still go to the mall People come up, take pictures and shit After that Drake song We wasn't going to the airport no more We was on Jets Immediately after that Yeah, we was on Jets We ain't go to the airport no more Probably after that for real Do you think when Youngboy exposed That Drake didn't want to do a song with him Because of his friendship with Dirk Do you think that makes sense? He did that? Yeah, Youngboy exposed at one point that he reached out to Drake trying to do music, and Drake more or less said that because he f***ed Dirk, he wasn't trying to work with him.

36:29I don't know if that... Well, if he did that, I feel like that. Like you said, Drake ain't want to do a song with Youngboy because he did a song with Dirk. Because he looks at Dirk like a real brother. Well, how? We ain't beefing with Youngboy. I think I think Kanye West Beefing with Drake At the time Is why Drake was like Alright I'm gonna go F*** with Dirk Hey you know what's so crazy On some real shit I be so just listening To our shit That y 'all probably think I'm trolling right now That I never I know about the Drake and Kendrick shit I never knew About that shit Kanye Wait you never knew That little Dirk had issues with NBA Youngboy.

37:18It never was no... You're a good actor, my friend. No, it never was no issues for real. Y 'all think I'm playing for real, bro. It never been no issues. So when NBA Youngboy's artist, Quando Rondo's friend, Lil' Tim, murdered King Von in a parking lot in Atlanta and then Youngboy put out an album which he repeatedly alluded to slash diss Dirk and Vaughn and a bunch of Chicago references in general, that never came up. Lil Tim, who was that? He made a who? Vaughn? King Vaughn, remember? I mean, maybe I'm a little too Trap Lord Ross-ed out. Nah, it ain't that because that's not even true. It's not, no, for sure Lil Tim beat the body on self-defense.

38:16That's true? Yeah. And they did a Vlad interview and talked all about it. I gotta do my research. There's a little truth. They said that the police could've actually killed Vaughn. Now that's what I heard. How do you prefer that option? Like over the ops being able to claim it and type shit? But see what I'm saying, that's not even no, bro, I promise you, like, you gotta think like this, bro. Okay Before they Allegedly said All of this right Yeah Where Where was any beef at With them They was beefing over A chick named C Blue Who the f*** is C Blue Let me see what she look like I swear to God I never heard of her For real That's some good I guess You hit her Oh nah Lina go Beat your ass I'm told to shoot the menu Yeah Yeah You a b**** bro I wanna invest in New talent Yeah.

39:10Actually, really, I could give her an interview, too. She probably got a whole good story to tell. She done an interview? I ain't seen her do an interview yet. Somebody got a C-Blue can holler at her. Hey, bro. Hey, y 'all know that one goof-ass nigga, man, y 'all interviewed, man? Who? Which one? The white boy, fo. Remember him, fo, when we went to the studio? Which one? He was dating a fucking job, man. Ah, shit. Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah, all right. Jack like Jess. Oh, what the fuck? Jack like Jess, Lord. All right, so look, look. Holy shit. All right, so Adam. What's to him, bro? All right, so look.

39:43We got to do a flashback to him talking about it. So Adam be interviewing some guy named Jack like Jess. I guess his girl is a transgender. Yes. I don't know. I don't know him, but I know Adam and his community. He is a bisexual man, Jack like Jess, and he's a bisexual man named Jack like Jess, And he is dating a trans woman who used to be a man. And basically, when he was on the podcast, he told this little story about he somehow became cool with OTF. And then they, like, found out what he was doing. And they threatened him. He said, this is what it was. I'm going to break the story now. He said, since you brought it up, he said he was at an awful lot of call syrup.

40:25And I guess he was looking like he was getting some money type shit. That's the day that I ran into him. And you ran into him. That's the day I was getting my clothes. I ran into you. And Flacco and them said that you came to come press him about some shit. Me and Flacco. That's the day you came. You ran into me. I guess Jack like Jess was at an awful lot of call search. So y 'all walked over there and y 'all seen him. He was like a cool ass white boy, right? You would never know when you were on tight shit. He had some yurks. He had some addies and shit. He's a terrible addict. Yeah, he was an addict.

40:52I was an addict at the time. So what's all that folks? Yeah. So look, the story he tell is he said, look, I get to the studio, they on me and shit. And then I guess he ended up telling y 'all that his girlfriend a transgender, he be dudes. Then he said the whole OTF nigga just started beating like somebody. It was me. It was you, he said, oh, he said some niggas just started beating his ass and kicked him out the studio. I ain't beating his ass. That's just what you said. First of all, he had a You know, the YouTube things. He was filming a video or something? Yeah, so I thought his ass was nine plus three.

41:30So I'm like, hey, what the is that? He tried to add it up. I thought he was 12, nine plus three. So I grabbed a mic and I'm like, what's this? He's like, no, no, bro, it's just, I'm doing content. I'm like, bro, I don't know all content without us knowing. Oh, so he was vlogging while y 'all in there. But he pulled up to bring some, you know what I'm saying? Get him a straight. Whole time, you know. But he was saying, like, bro, you ain't seen my shit on Adam. I'm like, hell no. So I get to searching it while he right there. I'm trying to figure him out. Oh, no. Because if you go on his Twitter, it's like straight up, he has gay porn on there.

42:13Look, so I see him. I see him. Come on, you trolling that. You know, he does. I see him one day and it blew my mind. But he look like one, you know, them jockey white boys that like play football back in the day and shit. So he started drinking and then he got to tellin' his problems and shit like, yeah, my family, my family. I know niggas lookin' at you like, who you brought to the studio again? Nah, cause Folkestone was with me when we met him, so this nigga got the yurt. You feel me? So he comes to making a long story short. So once he brought up your name, I instantly go, I said, what's your name?

42:48He woo woo woo. I sink that shit. Man, if you don't get the out of here, I grab him all up. man you better get then he recording i'm like hey look i ain't this ain't no robbery this ain't no nothing but look you finna delete this shit out your phone you gonna delete this shit out your recent deleted because you being an imposter he was like no bro it's cut off and i'm like nigga i don't give a fuck man get the phone dude amazing man that was the most random story i broke all that shit he had. Didn't we edit out or bleep OTFing it? Yeah, because I didn't want... I called you. I called you. I sent that shit out.

43:32He put it out. He said it out. He can't say it out. His ass... Hey, look. Yes, yes. We bleeped it because I actually felt bad because I didn't feel like it was right for OTF to be involved. Yeah, no, no, no. Disrespection. No, not even like that. The TQ community. It was just how he was playing like, like, I don't got no, like, my stylist, he gay. Yeah. You feel me? No, for real, he cool, though. He don't come out of my, like, you know what I'm saying? So I don't got nothing, but he was portraying something else. Like, you know what I'm saying? So I just had to get up out of it. Look, Adam was texting him now.

44:12Like, what's up? Yo, you want to know some funny-ass lore, though? is that when Tay Savage was here, that dude asked him for a picture. They just took a picture. And he didn't see. But the picture looks hella funny if you know who he is. And he was like, he did a part with Brick. Like, him and Brick talking was so funny. I'm setting niggas up. Niggas not knowing his history. He wrong around here. No, because he banging Crip and shit. Yeah, that's what he was. That's what he even made me like, oh, yeah, folks, cool. He's like, you one of the gay Crips, folks. Damn. He told y 'all that in advance?

44:43He was like, I see the brothers date. Some of them accept me, some of them don't. When I got the press. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Damn, that's crazy. I forgot about that shit. Cause I seen that little clip, I'm like, man, I hope Raymond and Adam know. Cause it was like, you can see like, he went, no, y 'all ain't say no names. It did say O.T.L. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It did say O.T.L. Somebody gotta let Dirk know that we did everything in our power. Dirk don't be with us, man. All right, let's go there. What? Why Dirt don't be wanting y 'all to come and interview with that? Why y 'all think that? He said it, nigga.

45:17Where? He said it on an interview with J-Main, because that's what me and J-Main got in an argument about. He said an interview. He had an interview with J-Main. He had an interview on a phone call with 16. 16. Was it 16? Yeah, yeah. Because the full interview never came out, but there was a snippet. That's when you was on your Adam 22 gangsta shit. At that time was when I was in a hella extreme amount of shit. Chicago drama. Yeah, so it ain't really had nothing to do with y 'all. He just wanted all positive shit that I felt like he felt. I can't really speak for him, but I asked him about it.

45:56You know what I'm saying? I'm like, nah, we just going to do. And it wasn't even, y 'all, no jumper. I think he wanted to do all of the podcasts that was in Chicago, the DJUs, the J-Main, all of the Chicago podcasts. I don't think it really had nothing to do with y 'all. That's good. So why you think he told J-Main like, man, Adam and him in the way? Oh, yeah, yeah, that was a bar. He said that for real. J-Main told y 'all that. He leaked it. I heard Dirk say it. That was scripture. The jumper in the way. I don't feel like it. Shit, he felt like y 'all was in the way. I feel like when I called you and told you, I feel like it wasn't positive at the time.

46:34Like, everything is not positive. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Because you know what's sealed. You feel me? Yeah. But like what he was pushing, I don't think it matched. To what he had going on. Yeah. I mean, when I really look at it, though, it's like think about us interviewing somebody like Puda. And he's basically just like talking about how Dirk did him dirty. If you're Dirk, I mean, it's pretty understandable if you're going to not feel too favorable about a platform when it feels like they're giving people interviews just to talk about them, you know? I heard when Sosa told Wacker, he don't know I ain't doing no.

47:11I see that. To be fair, he don't do an interview with nobody. He always show love. He always cool. Soza is one person who really talks to me like a real person because he was annoyed about me talking to some girl about him. I seen him. You was pillow talking? No, on here. I was pod talking. But like, you know. I like that pod. Somebody gonna steal that pod talking. You can use that. But like a lot of dudes, if you do something they don't like, they're just gonna ghost you, ignore you, whatever. I seen him at an event and he actually pulled me aside and we had a whole conversation about it and shit like that.

47:43And we've been cool since then. So I actually really respect that about Sosa, especially because everybody thinks he's totally autistic and just out in space. But from my perspective, he's a super real dude. You feel like that even though he doing songs with Youngboy and shit? Yeah, because he don't got... That's what I'm saying. Everybody think of this persona and shit. but y 'all gonna see something like y 'all head up like damn cause everybody keep pushing this narrative when it's not that something like damn mean like Dirk and Yung nah I ain't say that I'm just saying like so the internet they I guess a lot of people from the fan side I don't even mean to cut you off right the first time I ever did the Adam 22 right is when that girl lied on me the whole internet believed that shit right yeah they lied on um academics that a lot of people begin to lie on so until i see real facts of something i'm not going off the internet no more like i never did because i live in the real world yeah so that's like if it was something about you i got your number i'm gonna call you yeah i ain't just finna but you don't think uh you don't think uh cheeky oh it's a vine a little bit to not go fuck with the nigga that affiliated with people who got something to do with his death like as a nigga that fuck with Von Von being one of your homies like that but it's music and then you gotta think Keith Keith doing his own lane yeah he been out here like you know also as far as I could tell Sosa and Von never really had anything to do with each other like never really interacted besides like allegedly maybe he was one of the people that robbed Sosa's house but they never like even when Vaughn died Sosa didn't say anything about it aside from being from the same projects they never really like Sosa don't really speak on nothing he don't speak on nothing I'm just saying like the fans view them as like Chief Keef first king of O-Block King Vaughn second king of O-Block but I think in reality they just never really interacted that much yeah I don't know I can't speak on something I don't know Fans be wanting them to have that old block camaraderie.

49:59Fans be wanting us to crash out. And do all type of shit. They want us to do. I go at my DM right now, they're going to go say slide for somebody. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? So I'm saying you personally ain't going to feel the way about you. No, I don't feel the way. I'm from Potato. Like, that's my boy. Yeah. Like, you know what I'm saying? I ain't ever really been around Sosa too much. But he done sent me opens for Dirk. And they done sent opens back to me on my phone. I got on my phone. Right. Before Dirk went to jail. that music. Where? Yeah. Remember that? That was a rumor that they were going to do a song together.

50:32You want no rumor that shit real? It was real. Okay. I got the song on my phone. That was a rumor like right before he got locked up which is kind of crazy that we never got to see that come to fruition but I guess if he puts out a project that'll be on it. Yeah. Damn. That's crazy. Somebody got a hack do your little phone. You got to get all this shit. Don't get any ideas. Like CIA level fucking security on that thing. Since we speaking on Vaughn, where were you the night Vaughn passed away? Because Vaughn, wasn't he at a, he at an event? I was at the event. It was our release. Yeah. And then shit, he went to another club, but.

51:12The hoopla lounge, right? Yeah, but it's so crazy. You know how you leave shows and everybody trailing each other? Yeah. I end up getting out because I'm thinking like, folks want to go to the room, hit them, I thought that was it. so they ended up going to a hookah lounge and that's how that shit happened that shit f*** me up but that's what I'm saying how shit get lost in translation cause like usually it was like some last minute shit word cause you know there be so many conspiracies they be like Von pulled up cause he knew Kondo was gonna be out there ain't none of that right that's what I'm thinking how the f*** with Von on some real shit on my kids there never was no beef with no going around no bro.

51:54I just put that on my kids and never ever ever was. Then why did Vaughn swing on them? He swung on them? Yeah. I didn't see that. I weren't there. It's tough to watch. You seen the video because I seen you break it down. Let me ask you this. Why you swing on them? I couldn't tell you that though. This is a real question I got for you. You seen on the flip side of it where it looked like after Von got shot, it looked like Quandt-O was trying to take his chain or hold him up. When you was watching that, what did you take from that? It looked like he was trying to hold him up I feel like he was trying to help him.

52:32That's what I got from it. I feel like he was trying to help him. It did look like he genuinely was trying to help him, right? Yeah. I genuinely felt like that. Why you think shit couldn't have just got talked out? Why you think shit just went left? A lot of shit could... I wish a lot of shit got talked out. Yeah. I wish a lot of shit got... But that's a nigga that y 'all was actually around for a little bit. Friends, like... Yeah. Around with and shit. If you go back, we did a Broadway show with Kwon Do and Younger Nays. What year was this? This was like 2022, 2023. Word. They brought y 'all out type shit or Dirk?

53:15We brought them out. Word. Yeah, because y 'all was locked in. Man, let me find this shit. I'm listening, though. I'm going to find it. What was your thoughts on the video, though? Because in the video, I guess you see Vaughn swing on him, and he get hit, and a lot of niggas run off. Faux's just a gangster. Word. Faux's a gangster, but he a good dude. People, like that internet make him seem like so crazy, like Chaploid Ross. Like Chaploid Ross, hey, y 'all got that money for me. I'm going to fuck Chaploid Ross up. I'm going to let him punch me however many times he want. I'm going to give him three punches, like whatever he want to do.

53:51I don't want to get too distracted from the other stuff, but yeah, you're down to fight him at grand risk? Hell yeah. That's insane. I'm for real. I don't want to fight nobody else but him. Damn. Why you just feel like he's done damage to the community? I just feel like, I feel like, you know how I felt like how you was getting too far in this shit? I feel like he's getting far. Like he's knee-dipping and shit, you making up shit, and you don't get no fuck about this shit. Like, I understand content, though, because he ain't doing nothing. But, like, the shit he put, like, a war in Atlanta with duty.

54:29We ain't got no fucking war in Atlanta. I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. You hear me? Like, I don't know. Let me find this shit. I'm listening, though. Let's get to it. I mean, I feel like Ross, he cares. I think he views rap through more of a true crime lens than like a musical one, you know? Yeah.

54:56Yeah, I remember that clip. Yeah, yeah. That one never came out, though. Oh, for real? Send it to me. Yeah, yeah, send us that. Like, you see what I'm saying? I don't even be doing that type of shit. I'm going to put a Remo watermark on it. Definitely. No, but it goes back to shows you like that's our homies. You see what I'm saying? Yeah. But how y 'all start rocking with him in the first place? Bro, go look at, he got a song called Smirky. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I mean, like, you know what I mean? They got songs together. We need to pause a second?

55:34We paused. Let me hit that vape. Somebody got a vape. You plugged it up. Okay, okay. I got it. Oh, you ready to plug it up? I got it. Somehow. I just moved wires around until it stopped. Yeah, but you saying y 'all got songs and shit together like from back then? Yeah. Niggas reaching out to come fuck with y 'all? Yeah. Fucking all these smoking weed. I'm finna get hot, y 'all. So nice to be out. What, you don't smoke a lot of weed? Hell no, I got PTSD. I'll be in this. You know who I miss, though? Who? My brother, Zoot. Before we get there, I just want to finish on the zone and then we're going to touch on Zoot.

56:11It's like, all right. You said you wasn't there that night. You was kind of like down the street, down the road. I went home. You went home. Yup. Who told you, hit you with the news? My phone had died, right? I had 1%. Now my little brother was living with me. I had just moved to Atlanta. I probably been out there like five, six months. So I never keep my house keys on me because my little brother always there. Or I come and lose the shit, you feel me? So the next door neighbor, I knocked on her door because she used to like, this is old white lady, she used to like me and shit. She probably thought I was trying to come get some sheets or something.

56:46It's like two in the morning. I'm like, I'm trying to get in the house. My phone ended up clapping. She let me charge my phone up. My shit get the, bling, bling. B-Boy just got shot, B-Boy just got shot. My man, stop playing. So they was like, he good, you feel me? Yeah And um

57:13That morning they was like He ain't making it And the craziest time When I just got shot I went to the same hospital And it was the same nurse She was like Grady Yep She was like She was like I took care of your brother Damn I know that shit hit different That shit hit super different That shit Like, people don't really understand. That's why I really, like, now I've been like, at first, I was like, f*** music. But, like, people don't, like, since a kid, you guys, my older cousins, Mike, TJ, my brother, my mama used to wake up, look on my page. I did Bow Wow at the talent show, you feel me? Like, I really love music.

58:03So I was going to quit that shit, but it's a passion in me, you know what I'm saying? Like you gotta think, everybody that I love either dead in jail. That shit strong too. I be in the club sometimes, like I just drop that song, Mr. Guys. And I'm like in the club by myself, like they're my Mr. Gang. Like I had a show in Arizona, man. Shout out K3E Bookman. This was like two months after everybody got arrested and all of that. They was like, you got three minutes to perform. I looked around. I ain't had nobody in there, but like, shout out Bass Smokes, you know Bass Smokes. They was with me, they fully supported me, you feel me?

58:50That's what's up. And they was looking for me, they like, I'm like, I'll be back. I walked out the side door.

59:00I walked out the side door. You didn't perform? Nah, you got to think. Yeah. You go on there, Doodie Lo performing. I got, you know, WAP, Twin, 300, like, Vernie, Smirk. No, Crew. C3, Ike, Wook, like, you know? Like, I ain't got, if I have, like, you got to think, at a point in time, I'm, Dirk ain't even, when we on tour, he ain't taking no after parties. you got book duty I'm getting 15, 20 and so all folks and them coming and Dirk pulling up still damn so that shit different when it's like damn you feel like you in this on your own now and type shit yeah but I had to put my I had to get this right yeah I had to I had to put God first then myself first cause I always put other people before myself so if myself wasn't right now I can't now I put myself right in God first right the bad thing that I ever prayed for was going right it's different I mean Zoo is one person who so many people have talked to us about on the podcast since he passed and like every single person just had so much respect for him including the people who weren't supposed to get along even us he's one of the ones that like and you know it's the crazy You and Zu was like best friends though.

1:00:26All the people Zu had a relationship with, y 'all, nigga. You know that though. Cause me and Zu used to talk all the time on the phone. Zu told you he used to talk to me. Yeah, that's what made me comfortable even talking to you, bro. Me and Zu, all right, for sure. Cause me and Zu. That's what made me comfortable be like, I'm a FaceTime remote. Cause Zu would tell you how me and him would talk on the. I swear to God. Word. So with that being said, I, for a fact, out of everybody in OTF, it seemed like he was closest to you. So how do you think I felt when he passed? That's why I knew, because when you text me, because I think I broke the news and you kind of hit me.

1:00:59I'm like, damn, you know what I'm saying? So where was you at when you heard the news? Bro, you want to really know? I was in front of my crib. My girl had just found out she had got pregnant. So she was running down the street screaming and shit like, oh, my God. So my little brother really chasing her, I'm chasing her, but I feel something in my stomach. I get a call, they like, I'm like, I just gained a life and lost a life. That shit deep.

1:01:34When I went to the funeral, I ain't want to, in my head, I still be tweaking. I don't even think Zoo dead. I feel like this is a Tupac theory. It's a conspiracy, man. You and Zoo was a nigga that on the phone all the time. Like, y 'all niggas on the phone. Bro, you don't think we weird, bro. Y 'all niggas be on the phone on FaceTime not even talking. Facts. Like, that's my dog. Like, that's my dog, bro. Like, that type of shit. Like, that's why that type of shit make me want to go back to lean. But I know I can't. I try to go in the studio and make a song, and it's all coming out about Zoo. Damn.

1:02:16You know what I'm saying? They're like, man, stop making sad songs. but I figured out the mic is really my therapy. So I have to let it out. Even if I don't put this shit out, I got to let it out because it's still going to be stuck in my brain. There's times I don't know. I promise you know how I feel. Like I'll be like, I'll wake up. I'll be like, it's over. I'm like, oh my God. That shit crazy, bro. Yeah, that's one because he didn't do an interview until ours. He like waited so long into his life to do an interview He said he would never do an interview. Yeah, and I'm so thankful he did because without that, it would just be really unfortunate if he had passed without this massive three-hour interview where he really just spoke about so much of his life.

1:03:04Got to break down everything, too. And the crazy thing about it, I was supposed to be here with him. Oh, shit. My hype ass sneaking and geeking so bro no one see me high. and if you go I got caught drinking lean on his but he was pulled up during the interview I landed the same night matter of fact he got on the early Atlanta flight I got on like I got on like a like a 8 o 'clock 9 o 'clock cause it's still 3 hours back yeah after he like I just left he was like ooh and Adam shit he FaceTimed you he had hired the fact that you was doing drinking shit from dirt yup just saying on my moment I already know he used to try to extort me You gonna give me a deuce on - I'ma tell Dirk.

1:03:47Nah, not even tell Dirk. He on Kyle, I'ma put you on blast. That's funny. I miss my boy, man. Damn, so like, alright, so they say he was getting a car park on the west side of Chicago type shit. So was that the case, from what you know? From what, yeah, from what I know he was. That's how Zoo is, folks, though. Zoo, I don't give a fuck how much money you got in this pocket. Bro ass gold. Make a - He's like, man, I spend like$6 ,000 on some shit. He's like, bro, you can go over here and get this same shit for$2 ,000. Yeah. Brand new. But that's just how Zoo Bill shit. Zoo, people got it. See, that's what I'm saying.

1:04:28The internet got the wrong perspective on a person. Like, bro really know how to fix brakes. I don't know how to change a tire. Yeah. So when that lied and said, I put some three scoops, I don't even know how to hang that on the wall. So it was like, damn, the internet really believe in this? But in the real world, people were like, dude, we know you ain't did no shit like that. And in my face, in my heart, I'm like, all right, if you know I ain't did no shit like that, why you ain't post it? And say I didn't. Zoo lost his page for that shit. Lil Vernie lost his page for that shit, taking up for me.

1:05:05Twin lost his page for that. A lot of people lost they page for that shit, taking up for a nigga. You feel me? So that's why I just don't be f***ing with niggas no more. I got people that I f*** with, but when I f*** with a motherfucker, I'll f*** with him. I f*** with you because I see what you're trying to do. That's why I f*** with you enough to call you and told you that that day. Yeah, I f*** with you too. You are a person who comes off like very real in a space where there's a lot of extremely fake people. It be like that. Yeah. It be like that. But you got to learn how to, like I said, put the guy first in yourself first.

1:05:41Like, it's different now, man. Who broke the news of Dirk? To tell Dirk about what happened with Zool. Because I know that. No, I ain't answer the phone from, like, nobody. Like, I wouldn't talk to nobody with Zool Dye. How long it take you to shake out of that? To even get back? Still to this day, I be tweaking. Like, it don't even be. You know how you would be seeing a motherfucker car? Everybody be having their phone doom scrolling all day. You see who call your phone, but your mind be somewhere else that you don't even want to talk to nobody. You see what I'm saying? That's how I was and I get like that and I get in my shelter where I don't post, I don't want to do no music.

1:06:22But no, you know the crazy thing? I always be recording. Because that's my therapy. Even when people don't see me dropping nothing or doing anything, I'm always recording. so I use that as therapy and that's how you handle the situations so you just do it for yourself or do you always have like a plan for like putting a project together I never really had no plan of putting a project together I just make a lot of music and however because I make music of how I feel like of course like okay like some music I know that's gonna sell because this is what they wanna hear but I really got a lot of shit that's gonna be crazy when I drop.

1:07:06I wish you had like an on the radar type mic drop up in this bitch now. You hear me? You got one? We can do that. I got some shit. Yeah. Let's do it. Fuck it. I want you to turn that bitch up to where you turn how you love this podcast and shit. Yeah. And then I do it. I ain't just gonna do it just to do it. So I gotta get behind you like full duty low maxing. Yeah. I got some shit. I got some shit. They gonna be like, what the? That'd be hard. For real, watch. You gotta think, I was always underrated. That was my next question. I swear right here. You feel underrated? Yeah, hell yeah. Why you think they sleeping on you?

1:07:48Or why you think people ain't really put focus on Doody Low yet? What'd you think? Nah, see, I don't feel that part because people love me. All right. I don't feel, see, I was just dropping shit at first that I wanted to, because that means something to me. When you actually have a team, they be like, bro, like all the shit that did good, I didn't even like them songs. Like I swear to God with Kodak and all that shit, I dropped the first one first before I put Kodak on the song because that shit did crazy. and Dirk pulled up in the track hall, bulletproof track hall to the jet thing and we on the way to the show.

1:08:32I'm already there but it's me, Wap, we all in the front. He pull up, I swear to God, I don't remember, I swear to God, I said, I said, I said, bro, I do not like that song. He like, he what the fuck? He boy, yo ass, he's toxic, he's alright, let me have it then. I'm like, Hell nah. He was like, when we get back, I'm going to pay for the video. On my momma, he paid for the video. He called Jerry. We was in the studio like 2 or 3 in the morning. That shit is behind the scenes on there. You see, he was the turntest one. Have you ever seen Dirk turnt in a video? Why you think Dirk believed in you?

1:09:15Because out of everybody, he believed in you the most. Because he know, bro know I know music for real. Word. And I know how to make music. So you the nigga from one Dirt album time, he coming to you like, these the songs? Like, he sent me all the music. Like, yeah, hell yeah. Not coming to me like, is this the album? But... He let you help select politics. Yeah, yeah. For sure he let me politics on the music. Hell yeah. Like, if he, like, all my life, he was like, I text him, I said, that's a Grammy. He knew it was a Grammy. Yeah. He said He just He know So alright What studio sessions You there You not there For the All My Life session Who not Nah I'm asking you Like you wasn't there Oh for the His version No I went He was in LA I don't really like LA So when bro was out here I went I ain't really I come here I be in and out records So where is this Too street for you Nah It don't feel the same After COVID Yeah Nah that's real It changed Like when Before COVID I was here when COVID came I thought the real I was at the West End on Figueroa, is that the West End?

1:10:21Figueroa? Figueroa, whatever the fuck it is. That's where the hookers are at. I don't know nothing about no hookers. No, I was at the West End. So they like, yes, a lot of people in here. They knocked on my door, they was like, hey, you can hide this room, don't leave out. I'm like, what the fuck? I'm thinking, bro, I'm still trapping, you hear me? Bro, I looked on the news, you feel me? Yeah. man I was there I had that room for 30 days for$17 I'm flying back to Kankakee for$16 coming back here just you know yeah don't have it my way but it was like damn I ain't like that's it after I came back to LA it wasn't the same no more no different yeah yeah 2018 2019 19.

1:11:11So where y 'all was recording most of y 'all music at? Or in Atlanta? Because the real question I asked you. The shit and the A. And the A. So that's where all the sessions. That's where all the hits was. Like the real. The shit. Back again. Back again. Tell me your craziest studio sessions that you like. Ah yeah. I knew this was some shit.

1:11:31Back again. All right. Breakdown of that day on like how the song come about. The studio vibe. Set the tone. Most of the vicious vibe in the air. Set the tone. Nah, nah. That's a mean song. That's like one of the meanest songs. Hey, you should be a damn radio ass. I'm just being real. That's like one of my favorite songs, but it's nasty, you know? Oh, we in that bitch chilling. Yeah. We in that bitch getting hot chilling. Like, we always, this was around the time where everybody, like, everybody got their this and code. Yeah. Same studio. Huh? Same studio. Yeah. All right, work. Bro, smart do his verse.

1:12:05Now, Dre come. He, when we both, Dre was staying at Kankakee. We both, he came out there to the A with me. So, I'm like, bro, like, come. Actually, he'll tell you what you made me want to. Dre don't really care about that rapping shit for real. But I'm like, come on. So. This back again. This back again. All right, back again. All right. So. So, Yuvon. All us in that bitch. All right. We in that bitch chilling. so smirk set it off he ain't drake hop on this and then drake go crazy pop up like a ghost drake like drake you get what i'm saying now i understand the list pop up like a ghost yeah he back again he wasn't rapping no more like that so drake got him back outside around so now von come i'm already I'm bouncing back from room for room you feel me yeah that's crazy I didn't even know Von was on that song like was about to cause he didn't even finish his verse at first so like another two hours ago I came back in whoo Von I'm like I'm thinking it's just Dre yeah Smirk Dre and Von you feel me it's like Von had like four bars on that bitch I came I came back in that I'm like, that shit, you hit me?

1:13:32Yeah, that whole shit, you like, who got the best verse on there? To me? Yeah, who got the best verse? I'm back here. See, it's three different types of stuff. I know. I can't say, I won't even say the best verse. Yeah. I feel like my favorite verse is Prince Dre verse. He went crazy. My, that put me in that mode is V-Roy up on that one. You gotta think, Smirk, that's, that's, bro, Bro, he already. You seen a video of the whole O 'Block rapping that shit one time? Man, that shit went. Bro, and it's like, I'm just like reading it right now. And it's like, Vlon's whole part is like as disrespectful as it could possibly be.

1:14:15Like the part that, that like at least like Dirk's trying to be like a little bit like low key with it. Cause like his shit is like double entendres. Like I don't even ask when it comes to cash, they catch you. I like that, you see? You know, that's like, you could listen to that and not really like read into it too much, but like Vaughn's whole thing is like names. I ain't trying to squash no beef, nigga. When you're in tune and see. That shit T-U-O, when you hear it, you're like, damn, all right. But, but okay, like this, right? Music, music is like, like a character, like, okay. Okay. Like, okay, who can we use for?

1:14:57like alright what artist you know that is a character and that's not them in real life outside of rap oh outside of rap yeah I mean think about somebody like yeah but I'm saying think about somebody like Lady Gaga who gets on stage and it's all like she's like a fucking Disney villain I haven't met her in real life but I've seen her in documentaries and shit where she's like acting normal you see what I'm seeing so it be like like people express us they you might like not even seem like like you gotta think we grew up in poverty so it's nothing but drugs and killings and stuff like that so that's all we know to talk about like you know what i'm saying or we heard about you know what i'm saying it don't even have to be like honestly you do it like it's a art and you just put it in words so it's like so crazy how they use your art against you and make you don't even want to rap cause I can be like I just sold twin chickens and rapping and make a song right here right now punching off this podcast mic and talk about shit in this room you could be lying like a motherfucker lying like a motherfucker and they still take your word for it but when you say Crump was doing all that woofing and he didn't even make it it's kind of like hard to like that's like comedy ain't that in comedy though nah that's some mean shit that's some fucking hating on your opposite of shit no but I'm saying it's comedy as in like Cat Williams getting on the stage dude slapped him and Will Smith slapped the shit out of what's his name Chris Tucker they not fucking Javante Davis and Muhammad Ali I mean okay that's one way of looking at it the way I look at it is that it's kind of like saying the thing that is the most likely to hurt the feelings of the people who love this dead person can I ask you a question and I don't hold that against him but that's what it is okay so troll and shit right GTA the song or the game no just okay like allegedly like you see how Crump used to talk shit.

1:17:17And do the trolling videos. And do just trolling and talking about everybody. Nobody specific. So when it happens, you was doing all that trolling and look, you see what I'm saying? Somebody got you for trolling. And that's why I don't look at Vaughn as a monster for doing that. You get what I'm saying though? I'm just putting it in an art way. Because you could have been, that's like Remo, you talk about one of my homies in the death zone. I ain't did nothing to you and then when Something happened to you all year. He was talking about my homie that. And now you say something. And now I say something back.

1:17:50Now I feel it. You get what I'm saying? So it be a lot of shit like that that the internet try to make. That's why on like Trap Lord Ross, I want to whoop his ass for real. Because he be doing shit like, oh, you feel me? He be doing shit like, you feel me? When you're watching one of his videos and all of a sudden he's looking at like the Facebook page of so-and-so's little sister. And it's like 10, he's like 10 years back in her Facebook. And it's just like, what the fuck? Like, that's so crazy. That man federally trained. He's good at what he does. He do his shit. That's your boy. You can set it up.

1:18:31I tried to set it up. I said 100. Ah. Listen, I tried. It ain't even about the money. I will, look, 50K, right? I will let him swing three times. Like, hit me first. Bam, bam, bam. He can get the best trainer. I'm going to be honest. Ross reached out to me. He said he want to do it. He told me about the idea, and I told him, you're probably going to get the shit whooped out of you. No. But I still was like, you should do it. I promise you, if I don't do him in the first round, I don't even want the money. Ross was down to fight you. Who? Ross was down to fight you. Yeah, they ain't want to pay, so hey.

1:19:08I thought they didn't know just the bag was too hot. They don't know money. They don't know money. they don't make it work that shit gonna go crazy so i'm not doing i'm not up yeah i feel it you feel me i can understand why they might have a hard time with the vision because they're not like native that's why you gotta sell it to them you know you damn damn pay he thinking about it right now like oh it's so good it's such a great fire it's just like if it can make it happen it's so good. What? I tried to make it happen. I overly tried. I'm going to make it seem like I'm Javante Davis coming out there.

1:19:44You don't know who I might have bring me out. Ross might come out there and work. You might see Smirk walk me out of that. Imagine Ross just puts on a dilemma. Spinning back fist. He's doing all the illest shit, which is totally underestimated. Yeah, so will Ross come out there and peace you up? He get his money. Alright, so you wouldn't even feel no way. Ross came out there with them hands niggas ain't know. Hey, Willie Willie had a cheeseburger. I've never seen Ross do anything athletic. I've never seen him jog down the street. So it's like kind of hard for me to picture him fighting someone to be totally honest.

1:20:17You had a fight. I didn't see it yet. It's a quick little watch. For real, I seen it the time. I didn't see it. I don't know my kids. It was the best 60 seconds of your life. Why would you do that though? I was just having fun with it. I gotta get the money. At least you ain't no bitch. You put them gloves on. I went out swinging. I ain't gonna say all that, but he went out. He went out. Watch yo, homie. Nah, he know what's up. He's gonna feel differently when he sees that. He know what's up. Why you ain't jump in, though? Why did you jump in? That contract would've got up. If he would've jumped in, he would've just the money up.

1:20:58See, he'd rather go for the viral mode. That boy, Adam, he ain't even chasing him, bruh. He said, we gonna borrow. That's what bring the money. I would have jumped in my homie. We went out there again for Super Hot Fire and Blueface and all that. You think King Yellow would have jumped in if Ruger lost? Nah. You worried about that? I would have just let it go down. I mean, that's just like it's so inappropriate to jump in a box that ran that unless something really f***ed up happened, I don't think Yellow would do that. I mean, Yellow's starting to like get his notoriety up again. I feel like he moved around with Blue Fist and shit when we were out there in Miami.

1:21:35I felt like Yellow's on an upswing. Hey, so you be controlling like helping Dirk get his features and all shit like that, right? Like if a nigga need a Dirk feature, they come to you? I just feel like a lot of niggas...

1:21:51You missed to make it happen though, Tyson. Yeah, I missed to make it happen for sure. I ain't gonna say I'm the only person on the team. But you one of the main niggas if I know if I go to you, it could get done though, right? Yeah, but you got to be one of the ones. How many more people is it that can make shit happen for Dirk on the music side? You, whoop. Bands. And bands type shit. So let me ask you this. Why y 'all niggas ain't look out for Thug when Thug was in jail and he was on the phone? He like, man, Dirk and them niggas ain't really looking out for me on the music side. Them niggas acting a little funny and shit.

1:22:22He felt like y 'all niggas didn't do the feature as fast as he probably would have liked. I want to clear it up because I with Thug. Yeah. That That That He You know when people in jail They feel all type of ways And stuff Yeah And What's crazy is The song that he Dirk wasn't even doing On mute He wasn't even recording At the time Dirk booked that session And did that song I was with Dirk For For the album The song Whatever song Whatever song Thug talking about Yeah Cause I don't really know too much About the situation But when Thug called him Dirk wasn't in recording mode like he wasn't recording but we was in we was out here Dirk booking a session and did that song How long did it take for him to get the song done cause if you're not in recording mode but when the nigga like thug locked up you might he probably you know what I'm saying like like anxious or something but like how long you think he just didn't get it that like maybe I don't know if he said I think he got it I don't know I think he just felt like y 'all was dragging y 'all feet on him like it was taking too long.

1:23:32Because this is what he said. He said before the Dirk, or I keep saying Dirk, before the Drake shit popped off for y 'all, he kind of took Dirk in and he said like Dirk was moving around with y 'all in the future. Dirty love slime. But then he said like then the Drake shit happened and he feeling like, damn, what a return on my shit. But you got to think when people in jail, it be all different type of emotions, bro. Yeah. Like I was saying when I got shot, I wasn't answering the phone. or some people weren't taking up on me from the internet when that bitch was lying and I felt the way about that.

1:24:03You know what I'm saying? Because it wasn't going fast enough. You know what I'm saying? Nah, hell no. Dirk loves Salam. When we came to Atlanta, Salam really sold us the Atlanta. You feel me? Nah, but the thing is, Dirk hate rats and they be saying that. I don't. I gotta go I mean shit Dirk said he hate rats so my thing is is Dirk looking at cause Dirk he definitely had the Apple Watch in that motherfucker is he seeing what's going on cause the thing is he was quick to hop off the gunner campaign but then when you see Young Thug might have said some shit or did something similar like he didn't snitch on nobody on no paperwork but he in there in the interrogation room saying a little bit too much or he told the lady I'll tell you what you want but just don't you know what I'm saying just keep it between us is that essentially ratting to you or do Dirk think that's ratting cause my thing is Dirk was on the anti-rat camp bro about that shit and bro always saying this like like what's up with thug he good you know what I'm saying type shit so I don't and then I don't get into that you feel me but no like I don't feel like thug rad it like no I just feel like but y 'all picking the shoes in there cause then how gunner reddit so gunner reddit cause listen how gunner reddit thug done reddit though what's the real difference cause it's not like I've never called gunner reddit but Dirk did that's your mess but how can I speak for another man how he feel though you gotta ask bro when he get out you're his spokesperson no I'm not you're his press secretary free Dirk's shirt man I can't speak for him I feel like a man's feet.

1:25:49I'm locked up. You know what I'm saying? Let me ask you, how do you feel? How do you differentiate the difference between what Gunna did and what Young Thug did as a street nigga? I don't even get in other people's business. I know what Gucci did is fucked up. All right. So Gucci took it further than what Thug and Gunna did. Would you say that? If Thug did do something, you feel like Gucci, man, whatever he did, you could just call that one. Yeah, it's paperwork on him. You know what I'm saying? and I don't get into all the politics and stuff, you feel me? Word. Like, where it's certain shit. But I'm just saying, like, why I even spoke on Gucci is because that's somebody I looked up to.

1:26:30Whatever, whatever, how bro felt about that, I can't speak for how bro felt about that, felt about that, only he can. But me, because I don't get in that and I don't really know, I never really had no close relationships, so I don't even get in. My close relationship with Guwap was that I looked up to him. So it was like, it was a letdown. You feel me? Shit, how do you feel about all the hate Kodak be receiving on the internet and shit nowadays? Like, you know, niggas be trying to play Kodak out like he just high and shit. But he recently did a video like, nigga, I ain't high. I just let y 'all believe what y 'all want.

1:27:06And you know what's crazy? And you know that from being around him, from him doing this interview. People think something wrong, but that man's really a genius. I think two things can be true at the same time he be loaded I don't know if he's always loaded he might be loaded but I promise you dude a genius you be loaded I agree though Kodak is a genius Kodak is one of the greatest rappers of this generation he is an absolute monster he has so many incredible songs over the years but I do feel like he is possibly falling short of his potential because of his inebriation he be loaded a little too loaded you think alright as somebody that's sober now and you kind of see like when niggas probably was saying duty load was loaded back then but you couldn't see it as a brother you feel like he kind of be a little like too loaded or he just yak just being yak like how you call it that's yak foe that's yak attack foe that's just him that's just him like he said he said it's hoesie I seen him take a perk on like Kod streamer.

1:28:12I just popped a glitch for the Twitch. Yeah. How y 'all get so close though? Cause you and him y 'all be locked in like when you can't. Me and Yak, we got close off of getting loaded. Getting loaded. Yeah. And like he a real one. He gonna tell you how he feel. He straight up and down. You feel me? All that shit. Yeah. So I mean with Kodak how long were you like rolling around with him? because when you did the interview last time, you pulled up with him. He was hella deep. And, like, it was just kind of funny to see you. It was just me, him, and a little Chris in the car. Yeah. It was just funny seeing you rolling around with somebody besides Dirk because we used to see him rolling around.

1:28:54I remember you was in the, you was trolling tomorrow. Yeah. So you was inside the sniper game. I didn't feel about that when you was trolling and shit. No. Was I? But that, yeah. See, you was doing so much. Yo, it was like four in the morning. I never stayed in here to do content that late. But, hey, you know, it's crazy. I really put that interview together. Yeah. Yeah. The Kodak? Yeah. No, facts. I give you credit. Because not even trying to even take credit. Nah, all right. A hundred percent. All right. So I went to the concert and met him that day. And then early. I landed. You met duty that day?

1:29:27No, I met him. He was with that. Yeah. And Dirk popped out. On stage. And Dirk seen me in the crowd. Because Dirk, I know Dirk don't know me like that. But like, he made eye contact with me on some like, what the fuck this nigga doing here? And the 100K track noticed me from the crowd and that's when I was like, when we really put it together. You FaceTimed me or something. You noticed me, cause the thing, I was the only nigga who had a press pass. I'm like, what the fuck? You're like, what the remote doing? Yeah, exactly. And I guess I don't know what the happened. I flew in the next day of that night.

1:29:56The next day. Yeah, something like that. But I definitely. We was telling at the Airbnb, like, man, ain't the guy, I told him, I'm like, like, nah, you should, I knew it was gonna be something different for the platform. Yeah. It was wild. there was so many people yeah remember that yeah that was kind of crazy um so how do you feel about the uh the narrative that like okay with zoo getting killed and you getting shot and everything is like there was a narrative that a lot of people pushing online that's like look at how f***ed up otf is now that dirt is locked up how do you feel like f***ed up like money I mean yeah like said some shit like that.

1:30:38Oh, look at, Doody Lo and Zoo are back in the hood and that's why these things happened to him. I'm not gonna get a good ass kicked. Because you got shot. You know, I promise you, Dirk will tell you, I always, I had money before I even met him. Hmm. Promise you. You probably just ain't seen me outside in the arenas. I could go to that shit if I want to. I was just chilling. I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Let me ask you this. I always got money, had money, lost it and got it back. Anybody will tell you that. But when you were moving around with Dirk, you were overseas, you're on tour, you're in the nice hotels.

1:31:19Life was a little different. I still go to nice hotels and shit. The narrative they try to say is like, if Dirk was out, then y 'all probably be on tour and Zoo probably wouldn't even have been in Chicago because niggas would be out doing music and shit like that. Man, we grown ass men. Word. You hear me? and then the internet gonna make a narrative of what they gonna say. Did Zu move back to Chicago or was he just in and out at that time? He was in and out. In and out. Yeah. But Zu loves Chicago. Like some people, Zu couldn't stay in Atlanta. Zu gotta have a crib in the A. When it happened in Chicago.

1:31:55Yeah. He just, that's like I go to Kankakee and go see my kids if something happened to me. Zu got the pool table in his crib. Yeah. That nigga stay playing pool. ass man. Is it true that 21 paid for Zeus' funeral? Yes. I love 21. He just reached out and just wanted to take care of it? Yes. That's great. He didn't even have to. Nah, that's some real shit. He a real one. That's one. Wham, a real one. 21, a real one. Kevin Gates.

1:32:28It's a lot. You know? Who niggas that kind of like switched up on you? I ain't. Because, you know, it's the opposite side of that, too, when niggas are like, man. Shout out Moneybag, too. Shout out G Herbo. Word. Shout out, you know what I'm saying? Shout out them. Shout out Polo G. Word. You feel me? Like, people that be like, I don't want to forget nobody else's name, though. So I don't want nobody to think I'm, like, don't take a, I'm not sneak dancing nobody. But, okay, you don't got to say any names, but have you noticed that with some people? that some people who were previously like very excited to talk to you are like a little different?

1:33:04Especially like off the high I just came off of. Like the run y 'all niggas just did. Nope, because that's, you know what's crazy. I still got my same friends, the Kodaks, the ooh, the same people I talk to. So niggas don't let me down, they let they self down. You see what I'm saying? You can see the niggas like rapping prostitutes. You know what I'm saying? What rappers? What rappers are rapping processes? Yeah, like how you be feeling like... Ah, you do rap a little bit. You be feeling like it's like the young boy wave and niggas that wasn't... Cause like a nigga that... Shorty always had his wave though.

1:33:46You gotta think, we got our own wave. Like drowning, I said. You hear me? But Toosie used to be with y 'all heavy. Like, and then that's a nigga that like I think he went on tour with young boy and that was... Toosie sing though, bro. Like, yeah, so y 'all really taking no. Bro, like, you know, I'm not. I just read the comments and the fans was like, damn, he was like, that's like me getting mad. That's like me getting mad at Bag. He brought Bag out on the show, I think. Yeah. Bro, he's mute. How can I get? That's like me. Okay, let's get into it all right now. Y 'all interview with all our ops.

1:34:20Yeah. What the they got to do with me? But I think people treat media personalities different than rappers. Especially if y 'all are on some street shit, if you have real close ties. Hey, me and my brothers, bro, I not seen it like that, but it's music. I never knew this shit was so serious. I mean, at one point, it seemed like nigga, 21 Savage was able to go do the duck feature and do the no with y 'all. But it seemed like when DaBaby was trying to fuck with NBA Youngboy, he was getting shunned and I don't know if it was y 'all not fucking with him, but the fans wasn't like kind of mad at him for like picking Dirk over a young boy at that time.

1:34:57But you got to think how the fans is, bro. I don't know why they do that because it ain't no beef, but he the best rapper. He the best rapper. You know what I'm saying? He better than him and he better than him. Like who the best rapper? But the fans don't really care about who's the best rapper so much as who's clicked up with who and who has beef with who. We don't be clicking up with nobody. We don't even, we brothers. Kinda. Y 'all rap niggas kinda clicked up in the way. Yeah, what about, what about. It seemed like all y 'all, y 'all street rap niggas, you know what I mean. Like we real brothers.

1:35:34Yeah. And we do music with people. And that's it. What about the top video with Dirk and Freddo Bang and the whole thing is like a whole big anti-young boy conference. What's that? I promise you I never seen it. Even LA Choppa pulled up. It's like, it's like got a private jet and shit. That was a great song. Great video. But it's like you can kind of you can tell that there's a very common alliance going on. Why is Dirk doing a song with Fred O 'Bank? Fred O 'Bank dope. We f***ing Fred O 'Bank dope. I know, but it seemed like they possibly got brought together. Don't smirk at your boy. He got a f***ing song.

1:36:17A long time ago, yeah. They got a song. See what I'm saying? But that'd be the media twistin' and shit. I mean, it's clips of long, drop-down listens, man. Well, a lot of niggas that got songs that end up not with each other and shit go left, tight shit. That shit always is a thing. You know how I go. How you felt when T.I. was like kind of mad at niggas? He's like, man, I'm tired of these niggas comin' to Atlanta with this shit. I felt them. But it's like, because you know who called? I had a talk with T.I. today. Oh, all right. Shout out to him. I'll tell you. You gotta understand, he probably felt like, but it ain't, people took it different than what he was trying to say.

1:36:57The timing of it was just kinda like. You know what I'm saying? Like I holla at Tip after that. What kind of talk was that? It was like, you know, Tip got the big words and shit out of my mouth. But he was just telling me like, nah, hell nah, I don't mean it like that. Like Tip always like, if he see anything before, he'll try to put it, bring it as one so it can be, cause he been through shit, you know what I'm saying? So he was like, hell nah, y 'all go get this money. So it was just like one of those, like a big bro talk. Like he was like, I look at him like my mentor. He helped me, he was calling me when I was going through that shit with that girl too.

1:37:33That's how I really got close to him to even call him after that. So, okay, that whole situation has kind of been in the rear view mirror for the past few years. But then recently it came out in the news that that same girl - She done sent somebody else some freaky So, okay, what? She sent somebody pictures of her kids or something? I guess, I don't know, man. Her baby daddy, I don't know. The fans, you know they were saying that shit. Her baby daddy, her baby daddy or some shit, girlfriend, she got mad and sent the little girl. I mean, the baby daddy girlfriend, the FTN sent her son a news. The pics of the kid.

1:38:17To the kid of his mama. Yeah. So she kind of got allegedly some child. Yeah. You see how God worked? You see what I'm saying? Wow, it really makes you question her decision making. And kind of makes anybody who still thought that you did anything wrong, probably makes them feel pretty skeptical too. They got her own payment plans, giving you that 11 mil bag? How that work? You know it's crazy. I'm going to go make them finish day. Make them started. I ain't even making a slide. It was about me clearing my name. Word. Her legal bills for this current situation are probably going to cut in how much she's able to pay you.

1:38:54I'm just saying you got no$1 ,100. You hear me? That's what I was thinking, yeah. Damn, that's crazy, bro. That must have been a fucking nightmare. I ain't never trying to get that money. Look, I swear to you, go keep your money, guy. Go keep working on you for me. You hear me? Mm. There it is. Where was you at when you found out Dirk got arrested? What was that day like for you? That shit f*** me up, man. I don't even know. I got so high. I think that's when I started back in high. That's what made me stop. I got so high. I got so high, I stopped. I made Brothers Keepers. Break down your day.

1:39:33I was in Kankakee. That was just like after the show and shit. Spending time with my kids and shit. Laying back in Atlanta. Then I synced that shit on the internet. So you find out through shit through the internet too? Yeah, but I ain't know if it's true. I ain't know if it was true. Damn, that's crazy. So even with shit like when it comes to your own people, sometimes you might see it on the internet first. Yeah, yeah. That's crazy. Crazy. So all right, so you find out via internet, like you don't make phone calls to see if it's true? Because for the, I knew about it. A few people in media knew about it before happening.

1:40:04I went to the studio. It just, I was so high. I got so high. I just went to the studio and I made that Brothers Keepers. Yeah. I shot the video the same night and dropped it. Where was Dirk at when they picked him up? You know? I don't know. I don't know where he was at. Uh-uh. I wasn't even living in Atlanta. All y 'all stationed out at the A, pretty much, though, for the most part. I'm living in L.A. now. I just moved out. Oh, word. I'm on. You fuck with L.A.? Or? Nah, I can't live out. I love L.A. Yeah. Bob, there, right there. Look at that little D. That's my boy. Yeah, yeah. A lot of people were surprised that you didn't get included in that indictment.

1:40:43People want you to fall, bro. People want you to fall. It wasn't like a little party that felt left out? Yeah. That nigga wiped his forehead. Nah, hell nah. How you feel about all? And for the record, he's in here with some legendary graffiti artists. I don't know how you got tapped in with them. You don't know, though. I do. We actually shot like half a documentary with them. Kobe and Bad News. I think they got cold feet. We got a hell of a good footage on them. Yeah. He's talking about y 'all got cold feet. We going to sign them. Oh, yeah? They do rap, right? Yeah. They been around us for a minute.

1:41:28What's all up here when Zoo came? They came with Zoo. Wow, that's crazy. Say that. Yeah. Free smirk. How you feel though when people be saying like the power of the tongue because like I don't know why but one of the I think it was a song in my interview he was like they asked me where I'm being 10 years to fest. How you feel about the power of the tongue and how do you feel about that line specifically? Music. Music. If you hollered at him though do you believe in like the power of the tongue or like because like I'm a nigga I don't even like They say you step on the crack wreck your ball over back grab my back you hear me?

1:42:03they say anything but you don't be on that Adam's serious now you look like a UFC fighter I'm sitting here with the dirt guys stop doing my homie let me see you too cool now it's late bro I'm not normally in here at 930 but I'm happy to be here for duty love we got duty love in the building we had to stay late man for this one you ain't even supposed to be up here Buka like man and OTF, nigga, I'm allowed over here. I did that and that nigga put my whole DM out there on the front street like, none of y 'all niggas come to this platform, I wish a lot of y 'all niggas don't accept these. Why you feel like, uh.

1:42:42Yeah, we all be friends. For one. We all friends. Let me ask you this. Buka apparently not. What made you not even fall to that? Like, and you do your own thing, cause like Buka puttin' it out there like, I don't think niggas should be doing these type of interviews. What made you like, man fuck it, I'll do the interview like. because we ain't talking about like my old man like I love Buka my brother yeah I'm saying like I'll fuck with y 'all where yeah I'll fuck with y 'all we'll fuck with him too I mean maybe he was going through something when he got that DM that day but we would love to have him regardless if he changed his mind Buka don't even do interviews so I expect Buka cool like you feel me I don't even really do interviews but I'll fuck with I'll fuck with y 'all yeah what type of nigga is Buka though.

1:43:26We don't really get the air from him. Buka cool, chill, laid back from him. He don't be with all that. Yeah. He just be on the music more so type shit. He be streaming on that music shit. How did it feel for you when you heard about Ben Tan getting shot and possibly paralyzed? Who is that? He's one of Young Boys' best friends, associates. Mimo's been trolling him on his IG for like the past week.
