In short
Lil Grifo (self-described “face of San Diego”) discusses San Diego’s culture and music scene, his prison background, why he started rapping, his views on toxic relationships, and the No Jumper San Diego controversy. He also addresses his “Lil Weirdo beef”/online DMs, gang identity, and how artists should move beyond hometown limits. He shares personal interests in BMX and talks about a “Grifo stacked enchilada” Everytable meal deal and a Padres/Dodgers art-gallery photo featuring his back.
Guests
Lil Grifo is the main guest. Other speakers include Lush One (host/introducer), Adam (another host), and references to No Jumper/Sean Cotton from Say Cheese, plus multiple San Diego artists mentioned by name (e.g., Mitchie, Slick, Shadow, Big June, Damu, Black Mikey, J.O. Felony, Aztec Tribe, Jojo 2 Faded, Zane, Lil Sins, Lil Aztec, Ghost, Speedy, Westside Capone, C Nasty).
Key claims
San Diego’s “bigger” culture is gang life/pimping more than music; artists must “stick and move” and leave if the city isn’t popping; he doesn’t care about internet beef unless it affects real life; he started rapping around age 24 after prison; he says “homies” can read authenticity via body language; he claims other San Diego rappers aren’t “homies” like him; he says the “fade” culture is about respect after getting beat.
Notable examples
Juvenile Hall/CYA/Camp Barrett/YA and parole in 2014; rapping funded by his ex-girlfriend stripping; BMX sponsorships (Dirt Bros, Vic Murphy) and legendary writers; Everytable “Grifo stacked enchilada” deal; his back photo used for an opening-game art gallery at the Padres stadium; March DMs with Fat Guapo/Weirdo involving “run my fade” and “stop mentioning the homies.”

Sprite is a registered trademark of the Coca-Cola Company. No Jumper, coolest podcast in the world. I'm in here today with my boy Lush One, and we're having a sit-down with the face of San Diego. Lil Grifo is in the building. Hey, man. What's going on, dog? How you doing? Doing good. Okay, okay, okay. He's mean-mucking me now. I got to get my third San Diego DP. No, this is probably the most serious dude out of all of them, too. Oh, okay. So you're starting it out.
1:23You're already trying to establish a hierarchy. not as far as he's more serious than Mitchie and Weirdo shout out to Mitchie shout out to Slick you gotta clean that up right now I would say as far as like demeanor and just like intensity of demeanor he's the most serious okay shout out to Lush you might want to regulate that to the S.S. though because I feel like Mitchie's gonna have an issue with it yeah I'm the face of SD for sure I'm not on the face of SD he's an elder statesman nah Mitchie understands Mitchie understands he wants to see the whole city win like he's basically He wouldn't take offense to that.
1:55And you're saying Lil Griefo only wants to see himself win? Nah, nah. So you're saying he's selfish? This is getting started on a weird note, Lush, man. What's going on, bro? He's a community guy. He's about the people, too. What are we doing, though? Adam, what's going on, man? What's going on with you? Chilling, dog. I'm feeling good. Yeah? Yeah. He had a big pod last night. Called 911 on his girlfriend. It was fun. Insane. Okay, okay, okay. He's like, it's normal. Griefo, what are your thoughts on toxic women, bro? Oh, no. I don't even give a fuck about all that shit. where you keep it G with you.
2:24Because my girl is very toxic. You know what I'm saying? Past tense girl. I'm in the midst of a very traumatic situation. She's a bitch. If you know, you can't control your relationship, low-key, you a bitch. Oh, my God. Damn. That is what I was thinking of saying, too. Damn. Honestly, sometimes it's a little bit deeper than that. Sometimes things just get beyond our control. It's not about being a bitch or not. It's about like, if you really care about somebody, sometimes you accept things that you and your heart normally wouldn't. You feel me? What's the deal with it? What are we doing? Chilling.
3:04Just podcasting, I guess, really. Yeah. So, okay. So, let's get this out of the way. How did you feel about the recent No Jumper San Diego controversy? I'm going to keep it G. Like, I didn't really see much. You know what I'm saying? Like, I didn't really see much. So, you know, I'll be on some other shit. So it's like, to me, it's like all this internet shit. You know, I know what you're doing. Right. You know what I'm saying? So it's like, to me, I don't take no offense. Okay, but you are right that I do be trolling all the time and shit. But this is not like an example of that, the way it started.
3:35Because I was having a real casual conversation with Sean Cotton from Say Cheese. And he said something like, yeah, I'm just coming from San Diego. I've been staying down there. And I wasn't even thinking about the fact that we're recording. I was just like, yeah, you know, San Diego is dope. But it's not really that much of a music city. and then that kind of got turned into where it ended up going, where we had a lot of conversations about it. But just for the record, love San Diego, got nothing against San Diego, had a lot of great times in San Diego over the years, and fully supportive of any artists coming out of there.
4:04It's not like I have a grudge against San Diego for some reason. Right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I feel like we got a bigger gang banging world in San Diego than music. I feel like we got a bigger pimping out there with the blacks. They do that shit a lot out there too, so bigger than the music. so I feel like everybody out there is on some other shit sometimes and then sometimes they be like half-time rappers they try to do rap you know on the side and shit like that but they really do whatever makes them money or whatever you know they grew up doing and shit like that so I heard what you said and shit I don't give a fuck about that shit I know my city's you know is cracking with certain things and shit like that you know I'm not gonna sit here and like sugarcoat shit and tell you you know we the hub of the music industry because okay did it always feel like it was gonna be difficult to come up out of San Diego given that there hasn't necessarily been that many big stars musically that have emerged from there?
4:55I haven't even paid attention to people like that. Keep it real with you. I'll be lost in my own shit. But I mean, shout out to Slick. Shout out to everybody who did pave the way. You know, Little One, Shadow, Big June, Damu, Black Mikey, J.O. Felony, Aztec Tribe. You know, shout out to everybody who did pave the way for us. And man, shout out to everybody who's from Dago you know what I'm saying but what can I really say you know what I'm saying I ain't take no offense when you said that shit palabra Do you feel like the because you said like gang banging is like a big prevalent theme and like bigger than actual rapping out there for a lot of people do you feel like that kind of has like stunted the growth of the rapping because like certain people can't rock with certain people and things like that?
5:40Nah I just feel like it's just lost out there and they don't know what to do so I just feel like they just need to do whatever it is that gets them to progress in life and just do whatever the you want. You know what I'm saying? Like what, what somebody else does doesn't dictate, you know, what I do and shit like that. I move on my own, move on my own two feet. You know what I'm saying? So I don't really, I don't really pay attention too much to what people are doing, you know, unless it's going to, you know, help me pivot up faster or get more success or learn some shit from somebody then, then, then, then I'm open to it.
6:10But other than that, I don't really try to hear the complaining and the, and the bitching and the, how sorry we can't make it I don't want to hear that bullshit you know what I'm saying I just be on my own shit I be moving around I just got out the pen I met a lot of good homies from everywhere LA, IE, OC Salinas, up north and I come out here and I just maneuver I'm maneuvering and I'm carrying the city on my back well yeah, do you feel sometimes it's easier to get love in other places than it is back home not even just for you 100%. Yeah, 100%. Because it seems like that, like, you know, and not just for you, but just for artists that are up and coming, they don't get recognized by their hometown until other places show them love.
6:56You got to move around. You got to stick and move, move around this shit. If it's not cracking in your city, Mitch said that shit, you know, it's the blueprint. He said, if it's not cracking, you got to get up out of there. You got to move around. Shit like that. You know, I can't tell you how to get rich. No one's going to tell you how to get rich. You're just going to figure it out on your own. Once you get there, then you up. But do you think it's kind of like corny that it's put out there so much that as a San Diego rapper, you got to go to L.A. to get on or to really enhance your fan base or whatever?
7:26Because I feel like a lot of people end up saying that. It's not corny. It's just the truth. You got to move around. If it's not popping in the city like that, there's only so many laps you can run around a certain area. You know what I'm saying? We got the internet though too, so the internet helps us a lot. but I mean shit LA is low key the hub where it's at we just down the street with the neighbors you know what I'm saying but if you locked in with homies everywhere it don't really I did when I seen that shit that you said I didn't take too offense to it because I don't give a about that shit that shit's not gonna pay me you know I still got shit going on you know I got other shit meal class bullshit over here you know I'm saying my catalog building it over there you know what I'm saying so I'm not really tripping then I'm I'm over here tripping I got homies in the pen sending money to people i got you know i'm taking care of people i got you know all kinds of shit going on so i'm not really i'm not really uh tripping on no shit like that bro you know what i'm saying way so anybody who took offense you know shit i don't know it's harder to be offended if you have actual emotion and have some kind of career going whereas i feel like a lot of the real angry shit i've seen was people who realistically have like no views on their music and nobody really knows what the f*** they got going on.
8:36And those are the people who are salty about any idea that they're being held back by the city that they're from or whatever. Whereas I feel like somebody like you, you come into the rap game knowing that it's going to be a little bit of an uphill battle just because you are from somewhere that's like a couple hours away from really like kind of the biggest music city. I don't even know if you say that about LA anymore. But I mean, you know, somewhere where you kind of got to go to make it in the music business, realistically. The hub of the industry in the West Coast. And we got good artists down there.
9:07We got good podcasters. Shout out to Hendo. He posted you and shit like that. He was going back and forth with you, I guess. Shout out to the Highness podcast, the Homegirls and shit. It's all kinds of shit going on down there, too. We got What the F*** San Diego, the Instagram pages, Dago Sounds, Dago Streets, Dago TV. We got Fools Gone Wild. We got a bunch of shit that's coming out the city. That's true. That's where he is from there. We're doing our part down there. Shooting the alley-oop. Whenever the ball goes down, we catch it. You know, throw it back, do what we do and shit. We got a lot of good artists, too.
9:37You know, we got Jojo 2 Faded, you know, from Eastside. Chalice of Jojo. Jojo 2 Faded. We got Zane. We got, who we got? We got Lil Sins and Calle from Nestor. You know what I'm saying? We got Lil Aztec from Cidro. You know what I'm saying? We got, sure, we got the homie Ghost. We got the homie Speedy from Shelltown. You know, we got action down there. You know what I'm saying? The homie right here, Westside Capone. He in the back right here. That's right. You know what I'm saying? the homie uh c nasty right here too you know from diamond street so he's like uh you know they're gonna complain and like that i just i just i just i just can't do it i think one of the things and from my perspective is that the biggest contributions dago has made just overall to the hip-hop landscape is chicano rap and like you know you got like the little robs of the world and just a lot of people just rob that's what i'm saying like that's that's some of the as far as like nationally charting acts from dago like was that a big influence on you growing up yeah of course all that shit all that shit all that shit was an influence you know what i'm saying i didn't even want to rap we started repping an accident right i didn't start rapping until i was like 24 i started rapping an accident just to just you know just to bullshit make hood songs about the enemies you know right yeah yeah and the next thing you know you know it's going up and shit so you know this shit happened an accident but you know it is what it is bro i ain't you know Can we go back and do a little bit of your backstory Tell us a little bit about your childhood and shit How you grew up I grew up in the south side of San Diego That's like 5 minutes from Tijuana Right there on Palm Avenue You know I'm from Palm City FH I'm a Sureño You know what I'm saying So shit Just got out the pen Shit I live right there Man I grew up with my grandparents Ran around You know Went to Juvenile Hall Hit Camp Oak Hit Barrett You know went to CYA You know How old when you first went to Juve Shit I don't even remember Wait like 11, 12 You know what I'm saying Really 11 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
11:26So I ran around, did that bullshit. Did my whole little juvenile hall career, little YA bullshit. Got out, went to the Penn, paroled, man, 2014, I think from Ironwood. Shout out to the homie, Big Cholo. You know, Big Cholo was there with me too. Homie from the city. You know, a lot of homies from the city were there. Shit, some I can't even say their name because they probably no good, you know what I'm saying? But a lot of homies was there, you know what I'm saying? And then I paroled 2014 Ironwood. that's it I came home and I just started rapping this shit at the time my ex girlfriend she was stripping so she was being a dancer whatever you want to call that shit so she was getting money and I was just kind of on some like like like like I was just like she told me won't you get it I want you do something that's what do you mean my I'm in doing my job is don't go back to jail yeah and don't get caught slipping get smoked yeah what I am doing you know my job staying out the way yeah and then she told me like now listen don't you want to rap or some shit and you were running a little bullshit rap I said you so I started rapping bro she funded it uh shout out to mitchy you know mitchy shot me out of you which did that i'm from dago once i did that i was just kind of like i'm out of here bro like okay that's crazy yeah that's a dope ass story mitchy did that shit for free too he didn't even charge me i was talking more about you getting like on in the rap game as a result of just like using this girl yeah having like the hyena being the one that bankrolled the yeah that's kind of what he's doing podcasting wise too sometimes you gotta do it sometimes player yeah i know that's that's hard though but yeah i mean i i like over the years doing like uh going hanging out in san diego with the bmx dudes and stuff back in the day and shit though i feel like a lot of people don't understand that like the the southernmost part of san diego like being so close to the border is like a super unique flavor going on over there it's like it's like a real combination of like mexican culture and American culture in a way that is a little different from LA being a few hours away from there.
13:21You just ride bikes? Yeah, yeah. What kind of frame did you have? The last frame that you had, like a bike, what kind of frame? Well, right now I have a Colt. Colt's like one of the biggest BMX bikes, yeah. Is it? Yeah. You a bike rider as well? You know a little bit about that shit? Back when I was a kid, bro. Okay. I was a kid. I was like 12 years old. Sponsor. Yeah? By who? Dirt Bros. Dirt Bros. Shout out to Vic Murphy, the legend. One foot of tabletops. that's hard I was like on some amateur shit with him and Gary Young shout out Gary Young Gary Young one of the greatest BMX writers of all time Ryan Shear is this like kind of shocking to hear like yeah actually I don't think I've ever interviewed a rapper that knew the names of a bunch of legendary BMX writers that's what I'm saying I've never seen this happen on a number I got my VHS sponsor tape the sponsor tape that I gave to him and shit like that and they did like some amateur shit I remember I would go to like the Vance Triple Crown shit on Ocean's side when they used to have the event on the boardwalk right there they used to set up the whole ramp shit yeah i used to get the little wristbands that i was able to ride like during recess uh during little break time and shit when they weren't you know using the course so you were to ride around shit like that because people don't know that the bmx culture really kind of came from not not from la so much so much as like the oc san diego like a little bit more because like la is such a city that it's like kind of didn't evolve here as as quickly as like down there in san diego i think and even though skateboarding is from like West LA.
14:42Like Tony Hawk's from Carlsbad. You know what I'm saying? Which is close to Dago and all that. So like, you know. I started off writing like street shit. Street shit. Like all kinds of shit. That's dope. I would do it real. Yeah. I could tell, bro, I'll show you my sponsorship. What? I could like, I could probably can't do it now, but if I try a couple of times, I could probably tail whip on the floor. Like, you know what I'm saying? I could probably get it to already. It's already back under my leg and shit. I used to be on that shit, bro. For real, for real. Then I tore my ligament on my leg.
15:10For real? I tore my leg in my ACL on my knee and shit. That's when I started running with GameBang. That was like 12, 13 years old. But I used to ride with Gary Young. I used to ride with Ryan Schur. I used to have a short bus. The Dirt Bros bike. I forget what the Dirt Bros frames were called. I had an S &M too. I had a black salad. I rode a lot of S &Ms. That's legendary. Crazy, bro. For sure. Okay, but so then you start getting into gaming around the time you tear your ACL. Like, was that like right outside your door, or was it something that you had kind of always been fascinated by? It was right there.
15:47It was right there, yeah. I was like 11, 12 years old. It was right there. You know what I'm saying? So, yeah. And you end up just getting sent to YA like pretty quickly after that? Yeah, like at 14, 15. I think at 15 years old, I went to YA. Damn. Right after Camp Barrett, boom, I got L.A.1, then I went straight to YA like 15 years old. What were the main charges that you had that got you sent to? A lot of assaults, assaults like battery on the staff, you know, on the juvenile hall and all that shit. So you're like catching like additional charges. Catching in-house batteries and shit like that, you know, in juvenile hall and the camps.
16:18You know, the hooders will try to get in and separate it, and then boom, you accidentally hit them or whatever, and then boom, that extra charge, you know, the whole bullshit. What was like the main thing that you learned when you was at, like as far as like did that make you want to be even more activated or did that kind of make you want to like. I was a kid, bro. I don't fuck, you know what I'm saying? I didn't give a fuck, bro. I was fucking 15, 16 years old. At that time, you don't know shit. But, you know, you don't know nothing. You just dug it out, going with the motion and shit like that.
16:46You ain't even, you know? Were you always, like, big for your age and stuff like that? I was always tall, bro. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Especially, like, you're particularly tall for homies, you know what I'm saying? Like, taller than a lot of those, if we're being honest. like so i i feel like like that made you does that make you more of a target like with fools that want do they want to fight you more are they more intimidated i don't even know bro i don't even know about that shit that shit is crazy like yeah yeah shit bullshit were you already rapping when you was like i started rapping when i was 24 when i got out of prison when i got out of ironwood i started rapping i went out fresh out of ironwood i started rapping shit like that i started later you know what i'm saying so you know what it is what it is and shit like that bro but like as you could do you always kind of just had it around you was it any other homies doing it that kind of like in like made you nobody nobody was doing it bro i just used to listen to music all the time shit like that i was in juvenile hall writing lyrics you know sending it home and shit then finally you know the time that i paroled the first time i paroled i said you know i'm just gonna try it out my bitch was like my ex-bitch was like come on just do it you no I'm gonna pay for everything you know what I'm saying so it was just a wrap after that you know I'm saying and I just started pushing like that you know what I'm talking about this is back before the memos this is back before the little mall rules right before the weirdos this is back this is back before all that shit this is back before damn near before Instagram you know what I'm saying so it was just like you really had to be in the streets and shit like that in order for you to be somebody and shit like that it wasn't just like you could just pick up the phone and just hey you know we'll pretend to be somebody you just had to really have some kind of resume some kind of real background and shit.
18:26I think it was like 2021 I first heard you. You like had a series of albums. It was like volume one, two, and three. Streets is talking. Yeah, Streets is talking. That's what it was. And that's when I first became familiar with you. And I was like, okay, because it's kind of a transitional phase for like SA rappers from Dago because it's not like the same old school. It's like, okay, he's coming with something a little bit more modern, but still has the, I feel like homies from Dago were really tapped into the traditional side of things like you guys like still use a lot of slang that like from the old school era and still like do you feel like like it's how do you feel about the fools nowadays that are using the n-word and just like have a different swag like I don't even give a f*** about none of that shit we tell you the truth that shit doesn't really you know affect me cause at the end of the day it's like whatever I do I'm gonna have to answer for it so it's like whatever somebody else does I don't give a f*** they could crash out they could go to jail they could pc up that shit ain't got shit to do with me palaura you hear me i that shit at the end of the day is like i gotta i gotta watch myself watch what i say watch what i do other because i know at any slip i could i could go right back to jail any little slip i do you know i'm still on parole right now so it's like i just came home you know so uh i said i was the best way do what you do and shit like that i i don't know you know i just gotta watch how i move watch how the people move around me and and other than that you know the real gonna prevail man you know a lot of be faking this shit faking the lifestyle you know saying soothed this soothed that you know for just views and shit like that or they just try to like say all three said is that but in reality they never been to the pen they never walked the yard with the homies they never they've never been and you know and riots in the county jail they never they never did none of this shit you know they just they just they just portraying a lifestyle and shit like that you know what i'm saying but at the end of the day though it's like when when when it comes down, time for you to go with and face the music and you go sit down with the homies, they're going to sniff you up.
20:26They're going to be like this. You know what I'm saying? Right. He's nothing. Not solid. They're going to eat you up. The homies are going to smell you just by looking at you. Just by looking at you. Right. The homies is going to look at you, bro, and they're going to understand your body language. You don't even have to say much, bro. They're going to get you. Right. They're going to get you. They're going to get you mentally to see where you're at. You know what I'm saying? And shout out to the homies. We got good homies. but at the same time, it's like, you know, you portraying a lifestyle that you're not.
20:50If you could, would you take away all the time that you did in prison and shit? Or do you feel like that was an important part of what made you who you are today? Shit, I wish I would have never went. I wish I could take it all back. That go, you know what I'm saying? I don't want to be, you know, wasting time, wasting time and shit. All the homies in there don't want to be in there. Nobody wants to be in there. Right. You know what I'm saying? But ultimately, do you feel like it turned you into the person that you are today in a way that like, Like you could be one of the kind of guys that you're talking about who wouldn't necessarily know how to hang in prison if you hadn't had that experience.
21:21Right. 100%. Yeah. It changed me. Yeah. Hell yeah. It changed me. It didn't make me like, you know, being in there, being segregated, you know, like, you know, the blacks over here, the whites over here, the homies over here. Like, you know, you get out after doing that. You grow up your whole life doing that shit. You know, oh, I can't I can't be your celly because you're white. I can't be your celly because you're black. Like, like that makes you when you come home, that makes you be kind of like almost like, damn, I can't even you know, you look at shit different. It really it really you up a little bit, you know, until you transition back into society.
21:52Like even when I seen you out there, I can feel the energy because like as soon as you see me, you like lock eyes with me. Like, don't change the eye contact at all. And then even when I walk up to give you a pound or whatever, I could just feel it that you like, you know, tense your whole body up and shit. like really looking at me like really that sort of like even though we're definitely not in prison definitely no chance that we're about to squabble in this podcast room but it definitely like I don't know there's like a way that like dudes who've done a bunch of time in prison kind of approach each other I feel like and it's like respect based right?
22:22The homies done time the camera ain't on you Perrito but look the homies done how much time you do? The camera ain't on you how much? 13 years. 13 you know what I'm saying straight you know level 4 yards and shit like that so it's like we just it's just a different and then you come home and you still move like that. You're not doing no goofy shit. You know, none of that shit. Right. Motherfuckers are on the internet. How many don't even want to be on camera? But is it kind of hard to unlearn that? Like you go to the burger spot after you get out and there's a dude who's kind of looking at you, especially being in the position you're in where you're kind of famous and shit where people are looking at you and they don't know nothing about no prison shit.
23:01So they're just looking at you on some regular shit and they might want to walk up to you and take a photo and you're kind of bugged out, like, thinking they're going to do something to you. Is that, like, hard to unlearn when you get out? Man, I've been dealing with that shit already for, like, the last four or five years. But it is weird. But you could read people's body language for the most part. You know, when fools are tripping and shit like that, you could read people. Yeah. You know? Unless they're really that good and they come in like, you know, they're going to get you as if they're that good.
23:25They're going to act like it's good and then, you know, they're going to get you. But other than that, shit, Face of SD out now. Make sure you guys are going to stream that motherfucking shit. when you when you made that did how was there any like kickback or like was there any like what like because that's a bold declaration i'm the face of sd bro ain't no other out there that's a homie that raps better than me that's a homie when i say homie i mean he from a gang he with the homies and shit like that there ain't no other rapper out there that that's that's a homie that that can say they're doing numbers like me you know what i'm saying straight the up not the memos the weirdos and none of these fools is homies none of these fools is homies they look what about brutal pedo looks man shout out to brutal brutal that's that's the homie you know yeah shout out to brutal i'm glad you say that i didn't because i'm not 100 across like like who's hood beefs with who so i didn't know if that was gonna be you know i'm saying but when i say i'm the face of sd i mean i'm the face of sd on that side you know all that other shit you know portraying to be black or portraying to be like another race but you mexican and shit like that like it's cool do your shit that's it like i ain't tripping on that shit but like you know it walk like a duck quack like that motherfucker a duck he ain't rasa you know i'm saying and that's straight up you know i'm saying like if you got if you got all the time you shouting out the blacks or you shouting out the the asians or you shouting out the whites all the time and you you you you ain't you you saying oh oh they hot down there but you shouting out another race bro that's that's who you that's those are your those are your allies then that that's who you moving around with and it's cool i'm not saying nothing i ain't saying shit like that i put the blast i fuck with the blast heavy down there in sd and in la you know what i'm saying but like it's just you know it's crazy bro it's crazy i ultimately at the end of the day you know i'm saying i'm from a gang i'm from a gang bro and i just i just i don't know i'm all different and shit like that so everybody else will be coming over here saying shit you know with the rap cap talking about they doing this they doing that they they're going it's all lies it's lies you you might be a good rapper you might be a good rapper but everything you talk about is a lie you know what i'm saying but weren't you on like better terms with these guys before like previous like you know what i'm saying like well who like memo and like and weirdo you feel me like I was never in good terms with Memo.
25:47Okay. I'm not even on bad terms with Memo. Okay. Me and Memo, like, I follow him on Instagram, you follow me. Yeah, so I thought, yeah, yeah. So you and Memo was cool with that, or at least cordial or whatever? They're all industry, doggy. Like, so some shit happens, they're going to fall back from you. And they're going to let's see what happens. See who's who you still, who not. Like, they industry type motherfuckers. So in your mind, you got, like, categories. Like, you could be cool with a rapper, but you don't necessarily put them in the category of being like a real homie? Well, I mean, at the end of the day, it's like, if I never did shit with you, or I never did time with you, or I never went on a skit with you when I was young, I don't know what the fuck you, I can't, I don't trust you, I said like, I don't believe the shit you say.
26:31We could get caught with something, you gonna tell and throw the gun underneath my seat, be a bitch. So it's like, I can't, I'm not gonna ride with you and shit like that. Unless your homies is vouching for you. Your homies from your hood or from wherever you grew up in. But if you're bouncing around and you here, then you over there, then you in this hood, then you in that hood. But you really don't have no hood. You don't have no resume. Like, who are you for real? I don't know you for real. You're just somebody that said you wanted to rap. So at the end of the day, I don't condone that shit like that.
27:04You know what I'm saying? But saying that weirdo's not a homie, he falls under the category of being a Mexican dude from a gang who raps, right? I don't look at him like a Mexican way I look at that fool like he's like an other or some shit like that he's like an other to me he look like an Asian Filipino he don't run I can't even picture him in the county jail running homie you know what I'm saying he is Mexican though just because I don't know what the fuck he is but I'm just saying by looking at him and shit like that he ain't a homie he's not a homie bro that's that Did you feel that way about him before you started rapping too?
27:42Like were you aware of him? Were you ever a fan of him? I don't even know man. I remember back in the day and shit like that. I got a little Tino verse in my phone from him. You know what I'm saying? I got a verse in my Gmail from like 2000 and something. You know what I'm saying? That's why I asked you that because I thought that y 'all had been like you know what I'm saying? At least like cordial at some point. We were cordial like in the beginning bro. In the beginning they started doing fake shit. Started doing bullshit. that shit I seen that he came over here popping it the other day too saying this and that that that I never wanted a link with him and that none of his homies that I never wanted a link with none of his homies and shit like that that he brought up that fat diabetic what's his name what's that fat fool he's always with oh fat guapo yeah he brings up that fat piece of shit uh uh his manager he brings up that guy damn who seems like a really nice guy guapo's show yeah Yeah, here's Joe.
28:34Yeah. Watch this. What's the essay right there? So these are DMs with Fat Guapo where, okay, so he's saying to you, stop the woofing online essay, knock it off. You say, run my fade. Stop mentioning the homies. You're watered down. You ain't the face of shit essay. And then there's a couple mentions in the stories. And then you say, let's get down already. You keep popping in on your interviews. You steady running your mouth about the dead and all that extra shit. Let me know. All the way down. run that and okay and then at the end this is okay this is oh no so this is him saying i can uh okay so you say you jumping in trying to save your artist you want the fade palabra i got you but when you say you can't speak up for weirdo you can you can line it up stop playing and guapo says i'm here for me so when you're ready to line it up with me holler at me and you said what's up with it sa come to sd whenever you ready hit me and then guapo said weirdo don't need to save him but I'll go tonight.
29:34Let's line it up. We can meet anywhere or go somewhere mutual. It makes you feel better. And then you just sent an address and he left that unread. This was back in March. And part of the beginning that I read, I was saying it wrong because that was him saying the thing about talking bad about the dead and all that shit because that aligns with some of the things that I've been said. All that shit he said saying that I'm running and ducking and shit like that and I'm gonna keep it G like you know he spoke about some shit about me both of them spoke about some shit about me and it's like at the end of the day you know they not really like that way so he's like you know they not like that is there like is there a situation where like a reality that exists where you guys get down and run manos and then it's chill afterwards you ever seen how fat that full fat whopper was that he could fight I think you fighting him would probably not be a great idea Yeah, I don't think that's, you know, like.
30:32A fool fucking might have a heart attack or some weird shit going to happen to him. Yeah, I don't know, like, what's going on with his health and all that. You know what I mean? Weirdo, too. Weirdo ain't doing nothing like that. He ain't trying to see me like that, neither. He got some kind of sick problems, too. He was just in the hospital a couple months ago. Oh, really? For sniffing those little nasties. He was supposedly not able to walk it ever again. He was in the hospital for, like, two, three months. That's why he took that break. He was like, he couldn't even walk. You're really making Lush think that he needs to go down to San Diego and hang out with him.
31:04Yeah, yeah, yeah. Lush is trying to get on that ASAP. I feel like I got pins and needles permanently. Man. I'm going to keep it G. That shit ain't serious with this fool. This fool's not really like that. You know what I'm saying? At the end of the day, they're not like that, man. Okay. They just act like it, but they really like that, man. But when you see him, because I feel like he's got a real, a lot of good connections in LA. You see him in Peso marching through LA doing videos and shit like that. It's all good. We do the same shit. We do the same shit. We do the same shit. But do you feel like there's kind of like two sides emerging in San Diego?
31:35Like you got to take your side or his side? It's not even like that. No? At the end of the day. He don't got our side really. He just got like nothing going on. You know what I'm saying? You're really dismissive as fuck. And this kind of goes back to, and this is why I asked the previous question like earlier about like the politics. I know it's not about gangs in this instance necessarily, but just like, but just lack of unity because, you know, you guys are both stars. You know, like y 'all are two very prominent figures. And I'm not saying y 'all got to be best friends, but I think when people are at least cool with each other, it just opens more possibilities.

32:07That's it, you know, but I totally get it. You feel me? I respect it regardless. That's between y 'all ultimately. But do you feel like the fans are real bought in on that beef? Like do the fans want it to keep going? They want to see what's going to happen or is it not something you really care too much about? Yeah, these fools ain't talking about shit. You know what I'm saying? They're not talking about shit. They just ain't talking about shit. You know what I'm saying? For sure. Well, I'm not necessarily agreeing with that. I don't know anything about that. Well, I think that ultimately, like, you guys have different lanes.
32:42So there's enough room for both of y 'all to exist and do your thing. You got your own lane, ultimately. He know the deal. He's like, it's not even, it's already at that point where it's just kind of just like, Like people know bro, like they know who's who in the streets, they know who fuck with who. You know, it's not like no mystery and shit like that. That fool's really, yeah, he was just rapping. He rapping, he gonna stay like that, rapping and shit like that, you know what I'm saying? So that's it, you know. But it ain't nothing, that fool's nothing like that. Okay. Be like that, you feel me?
33:19When I first met you in person, because like we had already like talked at like B.I.G. and all that for a while. I've been trying to interview you for a minute. Like, like, it's hard to keep track because of your incarceration thing. Like, I don't, you know, you'd be unfortunately even locked up a lot. You feel me? But when I first got to meet you in person was at flip studio and shit like that. So how did, what was that? Like our initial link up, like with you and flip. Sure. Well, when I came home, solo, shout out to solo and shit. Solo just put me in, uh, uh, on FaceTime with flip right away.
33:51Like he FaceTime flip, he was supposed to flip. They like, Hey, let's get it in. like that and then I was like I was only out for like one week and I was like yeah let's run it and then I said I could go next week Flip's like uh Solis is like bro go today what the f*** are you doing right there right now in San Diego I was like you right so f*** I just got an apartment I didn't have nothing in there not even a mattress so I just left the f*** apartment and I just dipped off first week out I think it was like my first three days and then I I came straight to LA right here down the street and uh to the 808 studio and f*** we just got to work bro like we just got to work and shit like that you know what i'm saying so yeah we just got to work and uh shit we just kept going did you have were you like when you were like during that most recent bid were you writing a lot or were you just kind of just ready to i'm gonna keep it g that that this was the worst time that i ever did and shit because i was uh it was the shortest time i've ever did i think i did like 13 months but it was just wack as it was going by slow then um i landed right there on the level level two yard right there in solid that and shit where they killed suede so I was right there on the same tier and the same everything where they killed a little homie and shit like that so it was just kind of like weird ass vibes and shit like that you know going to prison as a rapper bro or any kind of person that has any kind of clout or like bullshit like that like you know has any kind of motion and shit you go to prison that's the last thing you want you don't want to be looked at you don't want to be like you know you walk out into the yard everybody looking at you everybody eyes on you the guards the nurses you know what i'm saying that's the last thing you want but is it more negative or positive because on the other hand it's always negative with you they probably want to give you shit any attention in prison is negative it just usually ends up bad even if it's positive attention yeah you cannot shine your masters well it like breeds jealousy and stuff right like yeah you know what i'm saying so it's just any attention there is negative you don't want no attention from from anybody right so you want to just just do your time and get the I mean especially you being in the same section of the prison that Suede was in when he's like the most obvious glaring example of that of how things being locked up can really go bad if you're a rapper with some real motion.
36:00Yeah. A hundred percent. Yeah. Yeah. Straight up. It was lit. It was lit. It was lit. And there was people there who had been there for five years on the same tier. Yeah. And it was just like to them that was just the other day that. I heard you say that. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? so to them they was like i'm just like damn they was talking to me like it just happened like it just happened type we got here oh this is why i was gonna order food too we in here man so this is your signature meal from uh where is it from exactly from every table right here man shout out to sam poke shout out to everybody at every table grifo meal man what am i eating here exactly this is the uh the grifo stacked enchilada right here man so what's the chicken enchilada and they got the cilantro rice.
36:42You got some beans and shit on the side. Some black pinto beans and shit. You know what I'm saying? Wow. That was good. I never had rice like this. Yeah, it's fine. I don't even know what kind of it is. You fuck with the Bible? You fuck with this already? You fuck with this already? You fuck with this already? Look. You fuck with this? This shit flamed. I love it. Come on, listen. Come on here. For real. I love it. I'm already gonna smack like two, three. No. Honestly, this is way too fire. Yeah. But. So good. Holy shit. The cilantro rice, that's an interesting touch. Most people haven't, like, with that.
37:15What inspired that? I don't even know. They just hit me up. They were like, hey, you're the face of San Diego, so we're going to give you a meal. I'll f*** around now. But they just hit me up, you know what I'm saying? And we made it happen and shit, man. Shout out to Everytable. Is this something that you grew up eating or something similar to what you had grown up eating in San Diego? Yeah. Okay, so that's why they were already having a month? Yeah, yeah. Nice. Yeah, they're trying to get all the Mexicans to go to Everytable, you know? Is there a royalty? Do you get paid like every time they sell one?
37:40I'm back in, yeah, low 4%. Damn, that's dope though. 4-5%, you know? Who got better Mexican food? I get a little 70 on every meal, you know? A little 70. But you got to add it up though. You add up 70 on a four-month run, 70 times. You got 39 locations. 39. And they're probably selling like 108 per location. No, like 700 a month, each location. Wow. So you do, you know, 700 times, you know, 38, 39. Yeah. times four months. Wow. You know, and then you add like 70, 60 cents times that. Yeah, yeah. You know what I'm saying? Man, you're making more money on this than the wrapping, damn nearer. Like, you feel me?
38:16Like, this is like, that's a jug right there. That's a cool little shit, man. Shout out to St. Pope. I love it. That shit good, though? I love it. You like it? Fire. Yeah. It's a little bit healthy, too. You know, it's not too bad. Well, there's a mountain of cheese on this thing, so I don't know how healthy it is. Besides that part, you know? Yeah, no, it's fire, man. Holy shit. Legendary. but that's crazy they just reached out to you it was like have there been any other like opportunities that have fallen into your lap as far as uh just rapping and like the other doors that could open because obviously like a lot of the people have made the most money from rapping somebody like a jay-z starts a management company or somebody like kanye with the fashion or somebody like uh dr dre doing the headphones and shit like that like i mean that's if you really want to get rich off music a lot of times music is not necessarily the thing that's going to get you there it's going to lead you to a thought you're going to rub shoulders and elbows with people you you know, that could get you something else.
39:06Yesterday, I did a photo shoot. Shout out to Daylene. I did a photo shoot of my back. I let her do the SD on my back. You got crazy, Hank? Yeah, they're going to use it for the opening game at the Padres Stadium with the Dodgers on Monday. Oh, wow. They're having an art gallery in there. So they're going to put the picture of my back, biggest, the little art gallery in the diamond room. So if you go into the game Monday, the Dodgers and Padres game, you know, make sure you hit the diamond room. You're going to see it. The face of SD right there in a big black and white. That's amazing, bro. Congratulations.
39:39Appreciate that. And I'll say this. I was a lifelong Dodger fan. I still went to Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego back in the day to see the greatest hitter of all time, Tony Gwynn. So you feel me? I do got love for the Padres as well. Even though technically you guys are Dodger enemies, you feel me? Like still got love for the Padres. Dodger fan. Yeah, yeah. Come on. Yeah. You know what it is. Yeah yeah he from Literally Dodger Town USA Like the actual hood Yeah yeah yeah he from right there That's the homie C. Nasty right there man He be making music It's a real one right there Yeah yeah yeah So one thing about Dago that I've always respected is I feel like Dago's always been A really big proponent of the fade Fools are down like There's definitely you know I'm not gonna say that there's not extra violence and you know like things that end in you know unaliving but you guys are down for the fade like is that always been just like a prominent part of life for you and Dago do you like do you think that's an accurate portrayal I mean you can't go out what are you gonna do when somebody calls you up you'd be like that how would you as a man how would that sit with you at the end of the day you gotta run it you feel me like okay but do you feel like if you run it and get your ass whooped it's still respect because you ran it You didn't take your tail though You know what I'm saying Yeah You're good lush We're good We've hopped in Got down when we got called down We both got our ass beat in the last couple years Yeah Notable phase But we handled our candle You know To a degree We tried You gotta at least try to get down.
41:31You feel me? Like, as far as, you know, this being a great example of Mexican food, do you feel like Dago, LA, or somewhere else in Cali got the best Mexican food? Keep it 100, bro. San Diego. The northerners, man. San Diego and shit got the best Mexican food and shit like that. That's how I feel about it. But, I mean, there's certain spots in LA. LA's just bigger, bro, so LA got, like, different type of you know, ethnicities and shit like that. You know, you got Salvadorians, you got guatemalians you got uh so you just never know who's selling the tacos right oh when it's you go to el salvador and they're doing the tacos it's not gonna taste like like you know authentic mexican they're used to making pupusas yeah so when you come to san diego low key we got that like everything's just like you could go to any taco shop in sd and it's gonna hit you know it's gonna be fire low key you know i'm saying so you know how i know this is fire for real because adam has this whole thing where he like criticizes us for eating on the pot he says bad podcasting I was already hungry as f***.
42:28And he's smacking this. Breaking all the rules. So that is like, yeah, Adam. Call me all, man. He's suspect.
42:37I'm building up questions. What's up with your wife, Adam? She's not here? Nope. Hard at work. She's working. Are you trying to get in the porn game? She's working hard. Come on, man. I'll go get tested easy. I'll get tested easy, man. I'll pass it real fast. You got to prove you're capable in a gangbang, though. I don't know about all that. My world is just like your world where if you want to get into the game, they gonna pick out a gangbang So you're gonna have to the girl in front of six other dudes No, your wife no disrespect. I'll fuck you why she pretty but I don't know No, I don't blame you for thinking that but yeah, I don't know.
43:08It's just kind of She's only she's got a tiny little list of guys that are qualified But you do think that like an essay would be like on that list is some potentially because I know it's like Typically seems to be black dudes like mostly women dealing with the brothers up to this point but you know anything's possible first let's say first let's say come on we could never uh discriminate against san diego good you would have to you you have to no diddy but you'd have to have quite the torso you feel me like that's like that's that is definitely diddy no no diddy yeah you peter watching but hey like i've noticed a pattern
43:48be all right
43:52that's what I agree for what's the deal though okay so I'm curious about this so are you still working with Flip or what happened with that like what's the deal donkey balls tell me who did 13 years said he has donkey balls yeah that's real man you heard it here first more about the dick than the balls but I think that you gotta have balls to match the dick at least I don't know if I ever even noticed the balls if there's no balls you notice it I'm pretty sure but back to the flip question back to DJ Flip I don't got no affiliation towards DJ Flip I ain't got no hard feelings towards DJ Flip I don't even give a f*** about DJ Flip that shit already passed you know what I'm saying it is what it is he did some funny shit and I wish I'm nothing but the best was it him working with the Norteños that kind of it wasn't even that It was about him uploading a record that we already pulled down.
44:55He uploaded a record that we pulled down because we had some issues with it. He knew about it. You know, there was a lot of money involved with that record, too. There was fees being needed paid over that record. And he knew he was supposed to trash it. He trashed it in the beginning, pulled it down from all the... DSPs, yeah. All that shit. and then just recently when my artist Deuce Face needed to turn in a project to creative music. Deuce Face is your artist. Yeah, Deuce Face is my artist. I signed Deuce Face and then we signed him to Slash OTR. His name on the wall right there. Yeah, it's a little homie.
45:35Shout out to Deuce Face. Good dude. He needed another record to complete his obligation on one of the albums and then Flip being petty. He threw that record in there that we already pulled off the internet and then I tried to reach out to him tell him hey what are you doing he didn't get back to me for like 72 hours then it got released on Spotify once it got released on Spotify now I'm taking it as in like you know you're doing this shit on purpose we're supposed to have good communication you're not communicating with me Solis had to get involved and call me and by then it was already too late certain words already said and shit like that so I just said we didn't f*** with DJ Flip because ultimately he used the homies to try to go viral.
46:21Like, you know what I'm saying? He used, you know, he used the Tommy Guns. He used the Blanco 15. He used, you know what I'm saying, me. He used a couple homies and shit to try to do it, you know? And he, I feel like he don't really give a fuck about homies' careers. He really don't. If he see motion, of course, he gonna, he gonna catapult you because that's the way it's supposed to be. But at the end of the day, it's like, don't make shit up and don't do fake shit and start like, making like fake skits and things like that for the homies to go viral on reels or to do bullshit like that. Just, you know, be authentic, bro.
46:57That's what God is here. That's why we're here, because we're being ourselves. So why do all that fake shit? So once I seen him start doing fake shit with Blanco, start doing fake shit with like dude's face and shit like that, I kind of already looked at him a certain way, but I kept the business. I didn't let that get in the way of the business. But, you know, as soon as he did the funny shit to me, then I'm gonna go for his head, homie. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, I'm gonna make sure, you know, that I cut ties with him and say I ain't with him. But, and then it happened to be the next day, after I said that the next day, he happened to go with the, what's that food now?
47:29He just crossed his ass out. What is his name? BFB? Oh, BFD. Yeah, he crossed his shit out too. Hey, but look, so he happens to go work with him. So the internet ran with that shit. So that was the internet, you know? So me, but me and Flip, it was over something else, you know what I'm saying? so he know what you mean as far as funny shit with reels like doing like funny things with reels like like there was just a reel where where dude's face is like running from the police where like it was uh it was it was flip driving they were smoking and flips like oh shit put the uh put the blunt put the blunt down uh put it out the police is right here and the police allegedly in the video bus is a bitch and they're getting pulled over and the police is like hey get out the car and then the homie dude's face they turn the camera the homie dude's face just runs and he gets away.
48:12Then later on in the video, he links up with Flip again and he's like, hey, you know, shaking his hand. I thought it was real because I know Deuce Face. Right, right, right. So I thought it was real. But then Deuce Face is like, I would never let this fool post some shit like that if it was real. So I said, what you mean? That shit was fake? He's like, yeah, that fool Flip told me to do that shit but he just edited it all on the computer. I'm like, what the fuck? And I told Deuce Face, man, don't ever let this fool water you down. you a good artist bro you got a story, you got a whole shit going for you really from the trenches you don't need that shit, so once Flip started doing shit like that, they did some other shit where Blanco 15 he made Blanco dye his hair like Slim Shady and shit you're not feeling my band?
48:57I was there when that shit was happening, not when he was dyeing his hair and it's cool, cause nobody's gonna tell you how to get rich nobody's gonna tell you once you make it everybody's just gonna be on your nuts anyways motherfuckers are fake, but it didn't work it didn't go viral it didn't necessarily the way it was supposed to but i mean both of those like realistically if he's trying to get a blanco's career cracking or whatever i mean him having him do this weird eminem thing i could see how that could be like an interesting way to go viral and then like that that skit that you're describing is kind of like you know it's like sounds like a music video intro and then they turned it into this like real or whatever i feel like stuff like that is kind of just music promotion right or you feel like it crossed into a different territory.
49:38I feel like that's just being fake as fuck. You know what I'm saying? That's fake. But I mean, a lot of the industry shit's fake against. You're just not into that type of content promoting yourself. I just don't like fake shit, bro. I don't like fake shit because I feel like there's been situations where I've been with Flip and we get shot at. I've been with Flip and we get shot at and Flip get shot at his whole face from running away from the shooting and trampled all over the floor. His whole meta glasses up and everything and it's like, and we was in Compton, you know, with P-Face and shit like that.
50:08But do you really expect DJ Flip to be like busting back? It's not really about that, but don't put yourself in situations where you outside with homies and you putting yourself in a situation. You out here, we in the middle of the content, you with a bunch of homies and shit like that, what do you think is going to happen? Well, yeah, it's definitely a liability, 100%. The whole way back to Burbank and shit, we was in the car, and that fool was scared for his life he couldn't even speak me blanco we was laughing in the back seat we was laughing and shit five was even laughing driving and flip flip was just shook but that's when i realized too i'm like you know but i never looked at flip like a gangster yeah i always looked at i always looked at flip like a businessman right when you start when you start like portraying to act like you know hard and you start trying to push your weight around and shit like that like it's like you know you gotta bring motherfuckers back into reality so it was like you you a civilian that said like you're gonna tell if something happens you're gonna call the police and you're gonna tell on me yeah so it's like i can't treat you like a gangster i gotta treat you like a businessman i never thought of it that's interesting because i never seen that side of him what he tried to portray it's the truth i was with him every day yeah yeah you know it turned into him being the homie and shit like that but at the end of the day some gangster shit happens around us and I see you act like a bitch so I gotta cut off the homie shit and I gotta start moving correctly when I'm around you it's just business you know and I like I said I don't hold nothing against him and you know I know we all got families and kids we all gotta make it home so I just but we live two different lifestyles brother you know what I'm saying and which picks me back to the other weirdo situation with them like they're not really in the streets like that they're not really like on some hood shit they don't answer to what I answer to you know they on some other shit bro so ultimately like he's not he's not no threat to me you know i treat him like what it is like a he he like i think like what like a rapper you know what i'm saying so it's like it just it is what it is bro all that shit so flip too bro this guy's very competitive too you know you gotta respect him you know what i'm saying he's he's competitive like like calling yourself the face as d you like you know what that comes with you're like i this is me like i embody this energy that's how you feel right like this is what it is bro i mean do you do you feel like you said that you were the face of san diego prematurely like remember when ti did it and it was kind of like he was speaking it into existence or did you feel like you actually had earned that title at that moment and that you were basically just saying something that everybody should already knew just the face of sd bro that's it i don't even know what else to say bro that's just that's just it bro like i'm not really tripping on anything else and shit like that shit the album out now you know got lefty gunplay on this it got drummer boy got king little g on that shit you know what i'm saying uh shit go get that right now it's out crazy features yes sir definitely i mean okay so you chose not to sign to otr but then your artist who signed under you you did the deal with otr yes so why did you personally choose not to sign with them.
53:13Was that an offer on the table or did you just feel like it wasn't necessarily the best look for you? There was nothing that they could the relationship is already there with me and them. The affiliation is already there. So it's like I got records with their hottest artist I'm in the same rooms as them. So what am I going to sign a piece of paper for? For me? For what? Because most of the artists that they signed or have been kind of like earlier in their career so they can help blow them up but you felt like you already did the leg work to build yourself up 100 % you can say that you know what I'm saying and I came home to a good a good bag when I came home from prison this time so it was kind of just like you know Solis seen that he seen he respected it whatever we just got to work shit like that so you know is it hard for you to find a balance between like your own career and managing other people now at this point yeah bro I be wanting to crush that all the time bro like you know I'm still dealing with parole still dealing with you know with all the bullshit you know uh them coming to the house you know searching shit like that you know the way i move moving around you know i can't really keep you know what's it called on me you know i can't keep nothing really too much on me like that so i gotta really just move different you know uh it's just like a it's just like a whole nother shit man a whole nother stress you know being a rapper this shit this shit low-key suck it's not even cool bro you know what I'm saying like this shit suck have you thought about moving out of the hood like moving to like LA or a different city nah we right there posting you know grandma live right there you know I got family right there you know the homies is right there you know I stayed down there you know so it's just I'm there you know what I'm saying like and I just move around you know you can see me at the liquor store you can see me wherever the f*** hopping out the you know a band's hopping out a porch wherever the f*** you see me in and it's I feel like it's motivational because when they see me and shit in real life and they really see me popping outside, they're like, damn, what the fuck?
55:09It's not only on the internet, they get to really take a glimpse of me and be like, damn, or you catch me at the casino off, you know, racks or some shit, playing poker or some bullshit like that. So, you know, a lot of times when people just say shit in the comments and pop it on the YouTube and shit, it's not real life because when I'm outside, it's like, it's hardly ever that I ever get into a confrontation, you know, and when I do, damn, damn near that shit video. They be showing love normally. You know, it's on camera or some shit like that. You know, so. Do you feel like, would you still be able to call yourself the face of SD if you moved out?
55:43If you, like, lived in, you know, Orange County or somewhere like that? No. Hell nah. Interesting. Hell nah. Hell nah. Hell nah. Hell nah. Hey, man, shout out to my young artist, though. He about to start popping out. The homie of Westside Capone right here. He's going to be next to the Daigle. Mark my words. For sure. Well, okay, not trying to speak anything in existence or whatever, but people always say that the most dangerous place for a rapper is in their hometown. How do you feel about that? Do you think that's true for you or are you an exception to that? 100 % it's true, man, because that's where you know, that's where you're from.
56:15That's where you grew up with the people that didn't make it or the people that they still work in jobs or the people who you went to school with and they bitch or now. It could be anything, bro. People have one-sided beefs all the time and shit like that. Or they see you on a billboard, oh, this got a milk and they just talking shit like it's just crazy bro but like you're my op but I've never heard of you before I don't even know who you are I feel like I ain't really scared to die bro I feel like death like that's what Nipsey said you know we can never escape death you know it's we all gonna die brother we all gonna die we all gonna die bro but it's like to me to move around scary and to move around like you know like shit like that I feel like you're gonna get hit faster like that when you move around don't move around reckless neither but don't move around so scary to the point where you're almost uh anticipating something to happen to you because i feel like when you when you do that and you anticipate some shit to happen some shit some shit sometimes some shit happens you know what i'm saying so i feel like you just gotta move around be yourself move around smart but at the same time you know just don't be scary and shit like that because i feel like god already knows you know when the day the time all that shit when we're gonna leave you know what i'm saying and who knows you could get by a car and die you could you know do a little bit of perico and shit and you can pass away so it's like not necessarily are you you know your health could you before you know the the obs do but yeah i feel like i feel like yeah bro like you just gotta move how you move in life you know and if you could if you could if you could uh wake up every day look at yourself in the mirror be happy with what you're doing be happy how you you your life is and you could look at yourself and not think no that shit just keep going bro you know keep going it's like you know like Boosie was saying like people get hypnotized by hate you know what I'm saying they see especially when you're a local artist but you brought up a key word that kind of caught my attention when you said Perico because what a drug addict huh he's in the process of recovery yeah yeah yeah he said Perico like five minutes ago my homie's still talking something about this coke you know about the levada I don't know shit about that I've only had that in Dago It tastes like strawberry Sometimes it tastes like coconut You got strawberry coke?
58:32Oh man That's like Tusi? No no no it's called lavada So it's regular coke but with a flavor? Yeah it's straight Straight off the Straight off the bricks Damp in the middle Really quick Spencer What's the beat with you with the homie Why are you guys dripping water? Uh, you know, originally I had reached out to him and wanted to interview him and stuff like that. And he just talked a bunch of shit and like basically called us feds or whatever. I don't remember exactly. But then I, uh, there was a clip from his podcast where they were talking about blue face and he like real quick was like, yeah, you know, he, uh, he, uh, African, he African booty scratcher.
59:11And so then we talked about it on here, which like he made it into like a thing where he said I was like cloud chasing and shit. But realistically, we only talked about it for like a minute or two. So you ain't tripping. You ain't tripping on lucky. I don't have a problem with him. We actually supported Lucky. I mean, I'm still cool with Lucky, you know what I'm saying, personally. Honestly, your interview with him is the first full podcast that I ever watched with him. I watched that last night. But Adam spoke very highly of Lucky, wanted to interview him and come over here, and I guess Lucky wasn't feeling that dialogue.
59:42And then someone else that's on the pod, one of our co-hosts, wound up getting into a little back and forth with him. So that's it. But it ain't no hate. what's your relationship with him that's the homie he cool you know what I'm saying homie from Highland Park yeah are you going to link with him after this not today shit but I mean y 'all got his number right there bro but at the end I just wanted to see if you were good with him like what you guys' situation I don't personally have a problem with him I feel like he just kind of got himself into the position where he got to be internet beefing with me you'll get down with the homie you will get down with him if he call you out I think he got a few more that he got to get through before he gets to me so I'm gonna let him work on those loose ends so that's a no for now But I'm not really much of a squabbler myself.
1:00:23And Droops is the homie. Droops is a really good dude. I rock with Droops. Who's the girl with the titties that he do the podcast with? Which one? I seen her sitting on a stool in the episode I was just watching. You're not talking about girly face. Definitely not her. Oh, but he did hit that, huh? Allegedly. We all have our moments. What about you? You ever caught prostitutes? You said what? You ever caught prostitutes? Nah. You ever hit the straw? Hell nah, bro. I'm tired of these bitches out here. You got a girlfriend or you just like kind of doing whatever? Yeah, I got a girl. Okay. I got a girl, you know, she's right there.
1:01:07Oh, is she out there? No, no, no, she ain't here, but she's right there, you know. She under the wing? She right there. She cool, she all right, you know. You sound like you're mad at her. Is she all right? Shout out to Baby, you know what I'm saying? Shout out to Baby, but you know, it is what it is. I think I might have spotted her in the videos. Yeah, yeah. Possibly. Shout out to Baby, but I feel like all these LA bitches, they be all connected. Like, all these LA bitches out here, like, you know what I'm saying? You're not wrong. They all connected, bro. Like, you know, and it's like, they level to the different type of females now that I really be looking at.
1:01:38Like, a lot of these females, like, I don't know. I'm tired of strippers. I'm tired of those. Toxic ass. Yeah, I'm tired. Not even toxic ass. just strippers uh only fans and shit they cool they cool they cool you know to get money you know business and shit but like but like nah i ain't i ain't wife and none of that i ain't wife and none of that shit like that you know all these females man i'm trying to tell you lefty too lefty like there was a time when me and lefty was just running through shit like oh yeah lefty's two three years ago i heard he's put a lot of work in we was we was we was running through shit like two three years ago bro like you know and he's like man this is a crazy story with me and this fool and uh man it's crazy but yeah we were running through shit and i like that come on bros nah i like that but you know yeah and he know the deal and shit shout out to lefty too you know that's right yeah that's crazy definitely um would you be willing to be in a relationship with a girl that was physically abusive to you or no that this is full circle some johnny deb shit.
1:02:37This is full circle. He already lightweight said that I was a bitch for not firing on her earlier. Well, if she's going to bring it back. If she paying the bills and shit, your girl pays the bills? Is she more financially stable than you? She's financially stable. She has to be. Is she treating you? Is she acting like that? I'm not even going to put that abuse on her. There are abuse allegations that my friends say she's done. She's never hit me before, actually. A lot of victims don't like to be honest about the abuse that they've dealt with. Never hit me before. You bet you're hiding it hit you?
1:03:12Never? Would you hit her back? What happened a couple days ago? I'm going to laugh and I'm going to walk the fuck out. Oh, a couple days ago, something was going to happen. She tried to hit me, but she grabbed me and said, I got a little scratch. My stiff arm walked away. You put a little scratch on her. Somebody calling the cops. it's all bad you know that's what it'd be like it's an uneven situation i'm not trying to have like that's my like a big fear of mine you know what i mean like you know
1:03:48my boy said stiff arm i'm dying
1:03:55I do be like that. That's so. Okay, so where do you see yourself at in your musical journey? Are you happy with the level that you're at, or are you really trying to make songs that could hit on more of a broader national level? How do you feel about the growth that you've experienced? I feel like I'm cool, man. I don't give a f*** too much about music. I'll be pivoting off other shit. I'll be making money off other shit Legal shit not illegal You know what I'm saying so it's like It's cool man like you know What do you think What about like the content creation Space like you know doing pods I'm not even tripping too much bro But if I can put somebody else in a better position than me You know if they're younger If they got more you know motion Whatever the f*** it is then I'm gonna put somebody else In a position you know to be able to you know Get up there faster than I did You know what I'm saying so it's love like I said like And to me, it's like music cool, bro.
1:04:53But it's like I'm a gangbanger and shit first. A gangbanger and gangbanger first. I got to do that shit first because, you know, without that, there's no me. There's no music, you know. If I don't take care of home, you know, there's nothing else that's going to matter and shit like that. So it's like I do what I have to do, you know what I'm saying? And then this rapping shit comes second. And I feel like a lot of people in my city, you know, they do what they have to do. However that may ends meet. however you know whatever they do to make the money you know come to the table that's what they got to do and if you know music ain't bringing you you know money or like you know they're gonna keep you know investing in some shit that's not making them no money you know so go venture out to something else then after you know sometimes they drop a song once every two three months they drop a song and it might do something it might not it might make two three hundred k it might not shit right but it's like that's why they say the old the city don't got motion the city got motion because it's not really like people don't be shooting the alley up down there where we from it's not like you know it's always like oh yeah but no real no real shit though it's all just fake ass shit the unity's not quite there the unity ain't ain't never down there you know too much pride shit like that so it's like that's why i always put my blinders on and i always just work i work towards what i gotta do and i make sure that i'm good in my hood and i make sure that i'm good with my people as long as i'm good with them and shit like that and i can walk any where freely and how i want to move then i'm good you know but if people they lying and saying this and i just don't feel it you know i don't feel that shit but uh uh yeah man so to answer your question like little baby energy from him as far as like you know because little baby was a cracker artist and then he but while he was still in the apex of his career started trying to put on other artists and sign other people and like was focused on a business man face of sd out now bo so make sure you guys go stream them shit you know what i'm saying got the homie c nasty you know got the homie west side capone he gonna go up a lava you gonna see that's right rodriguez too behind the camera hey that's my dog the homie nick rodriguez with the visuals shit best one of the best director yeah pop up pop on camera quick yeah Yeah, pop the shirt.
1:07:09Yeah, man. That was crazy when I seen Nick. I was like, all grown up and stuff, too. You feel me? I suppose all rock start out last time I saw you. Nice to meet you, man. How you living? I don't want to miss the depth. Sorry. You already know, player. I'm so chill. I'm so chill, man. Chillin', man. Should we put the other mic? Nah, it's good. It's good. Yeah. Let's put the other mic. How did y 'all link up? I ran into this, like, in the ops, fool. I was in the ops, and I was picking up my car because I got new bands, and this fool was, like, next door. And then I just seen this fool, and we just banged on each other.
1:07:52That's amazing. We just started chopping it up. This fool was like, oh, you rapping shit? I was like, I mean, I ain't really too much of a rapper, but I got some songs on YouTube. So I showed this fool, one of them, and he said I was hard. So, you know, he brought me out here and shit, put me in a stool last time I came out. That's fire. Easy, 100 ,000 views. Easy. You're going to see. Yeah? Yeah. Big hood in San Diego. Okay. I'm from Westside, all town that's shitty. Okay. Yeah, yeah. That's right. So he just told you that you needed to start taking the rap shit more seriously? Like, how much of his shit did you hear before you made that decision?
1:08:27Shit. Right there and then. Really? Yeah. I showed him, like, one song, fool. you know that's mad love though for sure bro that is that's that's real and it's funny because it started with a situation that could have gone in many different directions potentially so you feel me that initial interaction could have gone left some of the best friends are made from a little you know casual bang on each other situation yeah be like that sometimes definitely um but so i mean where do you have you guys actually done videos yet and shit like that or is it you still kind of building it up nah still kind of like in the making i mean i popped out to some of this fool's music videos uh that's for him to speak on you know okay and then uh yeah this sunday he got his first video this sunday yeah this sunday finna get knocked that out and then the whole hood out everybody yeah right there in the neighborhood you know where my people was and show them what it's about you know yeah that's my older homie over there when uh when you started popping off Did that bring more attention from the hoodas and shit?
1:09:32Were they kind of on your helmet more like, Oh, this dude is now known? Was that kind of something you had to deal with? Yeah, but they know what they do, man. When they pull me over and shit, I don't be like, I'm a penalty shit. I don't be on the phone and shit. You know what I'm saying? I keep rolling my windows down. Making it easier for a lot of us. I go about my day. I don't give a fuck, you know? I'm in compliance. Give me the fuck out of here. You know what I'm saying? Wait, I just be pushing around. But, you know. Did you, like, as soon as Grifo, like, started working with you, was like the highness were just choosing instantly and shit.
1:10:00Was the quotient through the roof or what? He's gonna go up. You're gonna see. He hasn't had his chance yet. I feel like this is a poon slayer. The rest is history, man. You feel me? He might have the best hair of anybody who's ever been on the podcast, period. This is making me crazy. I've been to Turkey multiple times. I don't got hair like that. It's like the Bob's Big Boy logo out here. The homie said, Yeah, see the truth that you got a girl at home. Oh, he can't even claim it. Yeah, yeah, you feel me? Hey, yeah. You're probably cheating and shit. I'm just talking around. Man, you're tripping.
1:10:38I'm trying to get it. Hey, but while you guys watch for him, mark my words. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I hope there's some shit going to come out. Y 'all going to see, bro. We get it cracking every time we're out here, bro. Nah, next music stream, definitely going to have to run y 'all shit. You feel me? Like, yeah. Nah, because there was a music video that you put out like a year ago. I randomly click on it and I'm watching it and the intro is like a skit where somebody's calling you and you're actually in the bed with hoes on you and shit and you pick up the phone and it's like your manager yelling at you being like, bro, we got the no jumper interview and you're like, pick me up and they're like, nah, what the f***?
1:11:09Did you have one scheduled that day? Nah, hell nah. I just told him just to say that shit. I just told him just to say that shit, bro. And then here we are. You feel me? It took a little bit longer than I thought, bro, but it's good we're here, bro. it is like i still respect your your uh i respect your uh you know your place bro so you know i feel like no matter what people say they talk you've done a lot you know you've done a lot for the uh for the culture for the music you've done a lot for the west coast you know i'm saying for the podcast world too bro so don't let anybody downplay you like that they hating like a boy you're low-key the pioneer this love dago over here don't get it twisted It's Loveway.
1:11:48Call Dago. We call upon them. Yeah, yeah. You know what I mean? You see what it is. For sure. I see you got Slick right there, too. That triggeration station. That should go crazy. Yep. Mitchie came through and gifted that to us. We got Suede right there. Draco. Oh. Chubb Burner. Yo, okay. So, I got to ask this. There's like a video that came out that purported to be you getting knocked out of some sort of party. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What was going on in that video? Oh, shit. That video, man. i was in uh i was in san diego at a chicago musical fest and uh i remember i was there i just got off a stage king little g was about to get on stage i got off stage and uh two three people try to come tell me some and uh you know so i just had a you know i had a i kind of like you know how to handle my really quick uh icon la icon was with me him and his wife and like that they had security with them you know me i don't really you know move around like that with security i just you know i move around with just the homies or whoever i'm with that day i was with just some bitch so uh you know i did what i did you know what i'm saying they called me out somebody tried to throw some shit at me or some shit like that so you know i had to run it really quick you know it was like two three against one you know it is what it is and it was related to king little g because he was performing i know you guys had issues in the past yeah no no me King Little G are good now.
1:13:12We good, you know. He's on his project. Shout out to the homie down there, you know, from 18th Street. I was with him in prison. He started Double Nine Records down there from 18th Street. So he's the one that, he's the one that put G in position and shit like that. It started G's career. So, yeah, but it had nothing to do with King Little G. Okay. Yeah, it had to do with like some street shit, you know what I'm saying? Miscommunication, street shit like that. So, you know, I did what I did, you know. Did that, saying out to you as a moment where maybe you were like I can't just be moving around like everything's normal and like I'm a regular dude maybe I need to move a little more cautiously or nah?
1:13:49100 % but I still don't learn I still be outside like a normal person because a lot of times a lot of these fools are bitches and shit they're not going to do nothing to you unless they're like 3 or 4 deep but you catch somebody one on one they ain't to them I'm petty as homie so to me this shit I see somebody that I don't give a fuck if I'm by myself dog and you know I'm gonna tell you something I just be petty like that and I be feeling I be feeling like that but like a lot of they're not they're not that serious so they by themselves they're not gonna say nothing they were they homie they might say something if they homies knows what's going on they're gonna feel obligated to say something but nine times out of ten they by themselves they're not gonna say a damn thing to me bro so uh I still move around how I move around move around with respect you know I have respect for others and shit and uh if somebody tries to you know get into you know closing shit to me that you know i'm gonna do what i do handle my business you know but uh i try to move you know different but for the most part i'm human you know yeah because for me like i don't really do the security shit but something like that like a music festival that's kind of like the number one situation where you're gonna have a bunch of people you know people are trying to make content people who are clout chasing that's kind of like the one situation where i feel like i definitely need somebody washing my back even though i was I wasn't even on schedule to perform.
1:15:08They called me last minute. They're like, yo, hey, you want to hop on stage and shit? We got a little bag for you. So I said, fuck it, I'm going to go do it. And they let me even park inside the venue. They park all the way inside the venue next to F***ing F***ing F***ing F***ing F***ing around and everybody at the F***ing F***ing F***ing F***ing F***ing F***ing F***ing F***ing was there. I forget. But they let me park all the way in there. I f***ed up because after I got off stage, I still kicked it. I was kicking it, taking pictures, showing love. It's my hometown too. that was my first time performing in my hometown damn near ever that's not even you that was the first time I ever performed in San Diego I think ever so I was like showing love I was you know giving shit back like you know just reciprocating the energy and shit and all that shit happened and you know it was unfortunate you know what I'm saying but you know shout out to you know everybody who was there everybody that was there they seen it the situation could have been a lot worse but you know I was able to you know the link I clicked of the video too though this makes me wonder like why you got haters out here because the Hot Wheel of Media page that posted it wrote footage of San Diego swap meet rapper Lil Grifo getting parked like a valet has surfaced I'm like damn why they throwing the extra disrespect on that swap meet rapper I don't even know brother you know some of the media pages if they like you they're gonna like phrase it in a cool way I'm assuming there's been some back and forth yeah i mean i don't i try to pay too much attention to that shit uh you're not a big internet dude i never i mean yeah i'll be on the internet bro but i'm gonna keep it real with you a lot of that shit doesn't make doesn't really matter to me like you know what i'm saying like that shit don't matter to me and shit like that you're definitely not a net banger we're gonna be in the streets we gonna i will never find out who that how we like is i will never find out who he is he's gonna hide behind uh his page for the rest of his life yeah you know what i'm saying so it's like I think that's the plan yeah bro so uh me it's like it's different so I don't know but shit you know shit be like that a little bit of hate coming away he's probably a little weirdo super fan I'm sure when there's certain alliances like a lot of times people that are in the media they feel obligated to pick sides and this and that like personally I try my best to just keep it neutral because you know my name is my name ain't Paul that's between y 'all on 2nd Street.
1:17:28They was attacking me for like three weeks straight a couple weeks ago. Three weeks, every day. The Blue Devils, the bunch of irrelevant ass little YouTubers and shit. It was just, you know, having, you know, throwing fake narratives out there about me and shit. I heard a gang of shit in the last three weeks and shit, you know what I'm saying? And it's like, to me, that's just that pertain to me because, you know, I know what the fuck I do type shit and I know I'm good so I just seen a gang of shit, you know, but, you know, shout out to them shit face of sd out now that shit that shit low-key help my shit you know what i'm saying so do you think that like la's or whatever like oriented pages kind of just want to throw hate on you because you're from san diego or not i fuck with la i fuck with la heavy i fuck with la heavy the homies from san diego we all with la shit it's nothing but love you know what i'm saying but um there's no la dago yeah i feel that's not i feel like uh i feel like the Instagram pages, they just they do what they do, man.
1:18:26They do what they do when they try to say anything that they try to say anything that's gonna, you know, get their views and their views up. You know, they're trying to make money, you know. They don't give a f*** about me. They give a f*** about, you know, their monetization and how much views they get and how many commercials they put on this f***ing shit, you know what I'm saying? They don't give a f*** about it. Yeah, they expect people to actually click on the video and watch the whole thing because they'll there'll be a headline and it could be like oh like lush robbed a bank you feel me like yeah yeah but then like you click on it and then by the end like no lush didn't you got internet people you got goofies like crit man you got goofies like like straight goofies like just straight characters bro like knowing damn one real life they ain't like that so you're not feeling the crit mag movement it's not even that i used to i used to with this content bro until like you know what i'm saying I just seen like the facade he doing too much he's just it's too much fake shit with that fool and shit that he's speaking up on the homies speaking up on Lefty and that shit to me that shit oh there was the back and forth yeah that to me that shit just out you know what I'm saying and shit so Jab 5 f***ed him up he ain't denying Jab 5 whooped Cripman whooped him silly you know what I'm saying Jab 5 seemed like he got stupid hands though I ain't gonna lie I think he'd be you feel me a knockout artist them up.
1:19:46But CritMac goes on the internet and don't try to lie about it. No, no, CritMac never did like that. Tells the story, shows him respect, even though obviously you got that forehead tattoo, so it's never going to be that respectful, but I feel like he handled that pretty well. He's admitted, I don't know if he used to say this, but he says it now, he's like I'm not the best fighter. I'm a big dude and I hit hard, but I don't got no boxing training or whatever, and I respect the fact that he actually is honest about that. Yeah, yeah. Shout out to that football fucker. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. just the him speaking on lefty just rubbed you the wrong way yeah that's it and i know he that he don't have no real hatred towards the homie budget no he definitely don't but just being on here acting like you a wrestler like something wwf shit and then talking shit to me he's like what the is it like now also keep in mind lefty i think that was triggered by lefty being like what don't ever compare me to chrick mac and lefty's my boy well the reason why me and lefty first had issues is because when I interviewed him I said how do you feel about people saying you're the Mexican Crip Mac and he was like not feeling it in the interview but then later I think people started bringing it up to him and he was like kind of triggered he's like I ain't like that fool blah blah blah I ain't no joke I'm like like yeah but you know so I love I love both those guys but I feel you know I totally get like the the main point you're trying to imply regardless but Can we get nasty over here too?
1:21:10You feel me? If you're like, yeah.
1:21:14I just kind of want to show that there is Dago LA unity right here too. You feel me? What's the deal? This is my other artist right here. I'm saying nasty. It's my boy Grifu. LA to Diego. You feel me? Diamond Street on the map. Yeah. South West Lake District. Diamond Street shit. You already know. You got me saying nasty, homie. How'd you guys get connected? Through the homie rig. through the label I'm working with right now. It's my people, it's an upcoming label. Shout out 442 Records, you feel me? He connect me to the homie Grifo. Homie's a real genuine homie. Like, he puts people on the map, you feel me?
1:21:50Like, he don't gotta help anybody out. But if he sees the talent, he sees the potential, the homie's gonna, you feel me? He's not one of those who's who, oh, like, I'm doing this rap shit, and yeah, I could help you, but I'm gonna put myself first. and then like nah he's gonna if I see the opportunity for you it's for you you feel me if I sees it for him it's for him type shit like so like me and the Hummer are cooking we just dropped a video like what two months ago yeah maybe like a month ago we dropped a video the other day I was in his hood I was like in his I was like in his ops hood cause they right there across the street from each other you're in the temples or what in the echo parts I was putting gas and shit I was gassing up the Porsche right there and there was like four or five fools like this and shit and they start saying like hey you that rapper I look over and shit and I just go like this like nod my head and they're like you know where you at I just nodded my head like this and right away they started dissing they started dissing but they didn't do shit they started dissing the homie's hood they started dissing the homie's hood they're like hey we see you the video they started dissing his hood but they didn't do shit they were just popping it it was 4D they was popping it I see y 'all Y 'all look, obviously nothing happening.
1:23:05You know, they were just popping in the shit, but. No, no, it's a thing, though. It goes to show, though, goes to show how they're watching that shit, so. Shouts to my Diamond Streeters. Yeah. Thank you very much for the invite. It's love, it's love, it's love. I do want to ask, since you're here right now, what are your thoughts on this insane MacArthur Park indictment and raid that just happened the other day, as right down the street from your hood and all that? To be honest, brother, I don't really give a fuck about none of that. If that shit don't involve my hood, I don't give a fuck what you, you feel me?
1:23:38Yeah. Like, I'm out the way. I like money. I like gangbanging. I like my music, you feel me? That's right. I like my family. Like, if that shit I don't have to do with none of that shit, I don't give a fuck. I'm the hood. Like, that's what that is. Like, I'm a gang member, rapper, family man. That's right. In that order? Oh, it has to be that order. because Tommy said, you feel me? Like, being an SA is kind of like what makes you, and like, you feel me? It makes you part of this. You wouldn't be LA. I wouldn't be, like, my thing in LA is game bankers, so it's kind of like I wouldn't be from LA if I wasn't a game member.
1:24:18You feel me? Like, kind of like, that's how that worked. You feel me? Like, I'm in this, so it's kind of like that, that would have to come first. Tommy said, like, it's what makes you, you feel me? me doing all the stupidity growing up is what made me, me being gone through whatever is what made me you feel me? To find your character Yeah, to find my character is what I rap about I'm not just like everybody else though like, uh oh, Tres de Des, I just shot him you wanna hear all types of shit you feel me? Like, hear my shit though, you feel me? See nasty the way I shot baby Hell yeah That's right, you feel me?
1:24:56I like the energy man Oh yeah, yeah. This dude got sauce. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, special about the voice and shit. Mother's Day, you feel me? Turning up with the cousins and shit. Oh, okay, I was thinking that. I'm like, I wonder if his voice is always like that. I know, I know. You feel me? Afterwards, we'll probably show you our track and shit, bro. We have some other hot shit. We made a music video like two weeks, another music video. What was it, Surgan? Yeah, like two weeks ago. Be dropping two, shout out Nick Rodriguez. is always doing the good you feel me good shots bro yeah that's right enough though shout out see balling see balling my boy you know the deal that's right hey bro i used to live at the orsini oh yeah god damn how'd you like that yeah it was an interesting experience i loved it i loved it you in a nice little like environment it's a luxury apartment in the middle of the hood in my hood.
1:25:53So my barrio is right there on Temple and Big School. Okay. 300. So that's right next to the Orsini's. That's right there by the green school in the corner. The high school. Yup. Yup. So you feel like he was gentrifying the hood? Nah. For sure. Absolutely gentrifying. You know what? The hood just looks gentrified but the thing about the wayside like No, it's active. Yeah, it's nice. You know what I mean? Like that shit look justified. Y 'all can paint the buildings and everything. That's it. But it's the hood though still. And you feel me? Like, shout out the hood. You already know. I got a lot of love out there.
1:26:33I got a lot of these from that section. It's good. That's what that is, bro. Like, it look like it. And yeah, there's a lot. Like, there's all ourselves right there. There's whites, there's blacks, there's Hispanics, whatever. And you know what? We don't really see that. If you're with the business and you're with that street shit like you're gonna be part in the mix you feel and there used to be like a lot of filipinos lived around there too yeah yeah yeah it was like a big filipino yeah oh yeah well it's it's filipino yeah filipino town of sorts right there yeah it's right there right there yeah so it's like um it's temple bro would you take us temple straight down you're gonna get to the arsenis yeah right there by sunset you know that cvs right there in echo park yeah yeah all right bro that's that's that's the hood right there okay yeah yeah all that shit all those apartments activated yeah activated so you feel me definitely you've been spending a lot of time in san diego though since you uh since a kid um i don't always came back and forth from from tj to um san diego san ysidro la you feel me like i always go back and forth you never in this dude fucking time nah hell yeah what you mean I got my primos out there and everything you never go to Hong Kong bro yeah I'm famous there I've been there one time and I put in work I f*** the shit out of some stripper in there with the girl I was dating at the time put it down went upstairs and everything yeah a little private room you lost the the bolsita like you lost the yeah I lost my wallet or no I lost my phone yeah okay and I had like a Big bag of coke in my hand and I was so pissed I lost my phone and I dumped it all in my hand.
1:28:19The whole night changed after that. It was not good. That was a long time ago. Adam rolling off the board, sir. Come on. It was like 15 years ago. At H. Geezy. I bet y 'all go sickle mode, huh? Underhood. Yo, I was on sick shit. When I think about that, that was a wild night. That was a great night. Take me back. Ah, shit. So what do we got to look forward to in terms of the whole movement that you guys are building and everything like that? Shit, just shit. A good connection from the LA to Diego, you feel me? Diego to LA. You feel me? We're trying to show him that it's like that. It's really like that.
1:28:57Like, you feel me? There's no hate. Yeah, I mean, maybe we at the Padres and Dodger game. Maybe. Maybe. You feel me? But it's LA all day. It's DL now. Go bump that. Go bump that. We like cousins. You feel me? Definitely cousins. Shit like... Don't bump that Face of SD on now. We dropping, you know what I'm saying? We dropping some hot shit though. Fuck the weed shit. Fuck all the boys shit. Fuck all the boys shit. Some shit. I'll buy some shit with Blanco too. Guys, shout out to Blanco. Blanco, he's just in here. I love like the feature list you have on Face of SD. You feel me? Like especially cause Drummer and King Lil G both being on there and that's like the previous generation goats and all that.
1:29:39And shout out to Killer Kush too, man. Me and Killer Kush got a crazy collab coming. So stay tuned for that shit. They said Left on there too? Yeah, Lefty's on the album. But me and Killer Kush got a crazy collab coming. We collab, man. So I'm going to have these pre-rolls coming out pretty soon, man. Just in a couple of months. Watch out for that shit too. Shoot it.
