In short

OC Chris (O’Cliff Chris) discusses his origin story, including a high school face-slicing incident, getting expelled/alternative school, dropping out, and later his rap career in Oak Cliff; he also talks about Texas rap culture, beef vs working, and his relationships with Rainwater, K1, and other artists. He claims Rainwater is more of an investor/visibility figure than his actual manager, and they fell out over “deeper” issues (Rainwater’s narrative about money and public perception).

Notable examples

the stairwell knife attack at school; being sent to DAEP for 20 days and getting jumped; carjacking/bait-car arrest at ~15; opening for YoungBoy twice; songs “Billions,” “Sky Forever,” “Take Over the Block,” and “Put That on Anything”; a video with Paul Wall; and blowing up a car for a music video using Tannerite.

Guests

Rainwater (Texas figure/producer-investor; introduced the hosts to OC Chris; later texted about a money dispute). K1 (credited as the real manager/point person for label outreach). Cliff/Adam and other hosts (interviewers). Additional referenced artists: Goyayo, Maxwell Creams, Cartel Bowls, Drex, Mo3, Big X, JG, Ringwater, YoungBoy, Chief Keef, Kevin Gates, YB, Mexican OT, Paul Wall, Cheddar, Devin, and YB/Montana.

OxyCon Chris is crazy. OxyContin Chris. OxyCon Chris is crazy. Oh, shit. Some people were saying it was Orange County. I wish I figured out what the OC was, but then I realized. If you were out here, that's what everybody would think that it was. I made a song about it, though. Yeah? I was like, sing it, K1. So, Cliff is in that Orange County. I don't remember how you go. Come on, baby. You bullshitting, bro. I'm bullshitting.

58You said he bullshitting. Your own homies don't even know your music. Don't even know my music. I mean, you don't seem like you know it either, to be honest. There's an oak in the cliff and there's no orange county, and you should get that understood. There we go. That's a bar. That's a Texas-style bar. Niggas didn't think that was a diss? I hope not. Shit, I was just letting them know. Just letting them know where it's at. Where the fuck it is? I got some fades for you in the OC. You got some fades for me? Oh, yeah. Drex the joint. You don't like people talking bad about the OC. Oh, in Orange County Yeah, yeah Oh, shit, well I'm just saying it's Oak Cliff It's not Orange County I'm gonna be real Orange County is not known for its rappers I know I've heard like I don't know I haven't heard But I was talking to a stripper She was like It stands for Orange County I was like, nah, baby It stands for Oak Cliff And she was like Yeah, because Orange County And she didn't really say nothing good about it Honestly, great place to live not really where you'd expect a lot of rappers but apparently they do have hoods you know I was just watching a vlog that we got coming out with Drex so they do got shit going on Drex Drex Drex don't start a beef I don't fuck none of the beef I just focus on working and if you beefing with me then you need to go ahead and change your mother's life I have tried to hype up the Texas Mexicans versus LA Mexican rivalry Don't do that.

22Not like a war, but just like a let's push each other to do better. I'd rather come here and work with them. I'd rather come here and make some different shit that we ain't ever heard because they just focus on beefing and shit. That's true. Why they beefing for? That's a problem in L.A. Why you a grown man beefing with another grown man? Everybody a little too beef oriented out here. Come on, man. It's not like that in Texas? It ain't no... Yeah, no. Everybody just handle their business. It is on beef, but that shit fall off quick. Like, you know, it's Dallas Drill. And that shit was going on for like a couple months.

56And that shit was fell off. You already feel like Dallas Drill fell off? A little bit here, yeah. Hmm. Interesting. I feel like. No disrespect, guys. All right? There's a bunch of artists who are. FBG Murder. Yeah, how's he doing? Yeah, yeah. I think he got, he and Jill. I think he and Jill. Yeah, that shit was crazy. Yeah. But damn. Why'd you give me a Sonic pop? How's finished I was feeling generous it's hot outside appreciate it for sure I can't believe it's only a hundred calories Only on it. Yeah, I'm finishing it either way. I'm gonna die. I can't handle the sugar right now You bullshit him it comes with gumball eyes though.

32Them hos are hard. That's why I threw it away. I eat this It wasn't even a gumball. It was it was like a ice cube Alright, yeah, so so this the fish interview you started did we start already? Yeah, we started we've been started. O.C. Chris in the building. O.C. Chris in the building. If you don't know me, you're going to know me. O.C. Chris, right? So we met you because when we went to Texas and we were doing all this content with the Goyayos and the Maxwell Creams and the Cartel Bowls and the whatnot, we go to hang out with Rainwater and he introduces us to his newest artist that he's very, very excited about.

10And in his words, he had just got you signed to a label deal and apparently had got cashed out as a result. And he was telling us, this guy's coming up. He's the next big artist coming out of Texas. As a result. Yeah. He did get me, well, I don't know. He did potentially get me signed. Tell me he made you drop out of high school. No. I dropped out of high school on my own. I was missing so many days of school that they didn't want to give me my credit. So I was like, f*** this. But before that, I went to like five different motherf***ing schools. For real? Why? You're just going to keep that everywhere?

51So it all started. It all started. That is something people say in a minute. It all started when I caught my first brick. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, it's not that crazy, but it all started. I was in school, and I was with a female who had a, should I go to the store? I was with a female I was with a female And I cheated on her And she had a friend That They was doing shit with Before I met her Oh shit So is this the face story? Yeah it's the face story Alright for sure So look They was doing shit Before I met her And And when I met her I was with her for I was with her for a minute And then she started getting toxic And I was like F*** this So I cheated on her And I thought she was gonna leave me Which she did For like two days And then That's when Her friend started getting mad that she came back with me.

43So that bitch, like, I don't know, she got mad at me and her and started going on rants and shit. And that's when Shottie, my ex, she went to the office and was like. Set the tone. This is a high school. Yeah. In high school. In school. Popular. He was like, great, bro. 10th. Great, sophomore. I said, 8th, like a bitch. Wait, wait. 10th grade. 10th grade. And she did that. And she did that during lunch. And then we went back after school The principal ain't do shit And he searched the bitch Cause she was like that She had drugs on her and shit And um Yeah And then she was doing rants and shit And uh That's when We went back after school And He was like He ain't do shit And then we walked out that bitch She was arguing with a whole other group of girls Like ten girls By herself And like she went to school With a motive to do something And then we We walked into the stairwell, and she tried to come in that bitch and just come in at her.

45And I held the door closed, and then that's when she went outside, put the knife out of her bag. It was like a little door with a little glass window in it. And, like, she was like this, and then she went outside the window, and then she came back inside. And that's when I was like, let her ass in. And then that's when she came in and started talking shit to my ex. My ex had just got out the motherfucking psych ward because she had just had a psychotic episode. and cut the f*** out her arm or some shit. And she was like, go finish killing yourself, go finish killing yourself, whatever, whatever, whatever.

15And that b***h ran out. And then, tell me why this b***h started singing one of my songs, Billions. I was like, all right, b***h, you a fan. I had my backpack off, I was ready to hit her, but I didn't want to hit a female. I got eight sisters. And my mama raised me. So, I didn't want to hit a female. But, I put my backpack back on after she did that s***. And I walked out that hole and her purse and her phone was on the floor. I picked this shit up and I started walking to the office. And once I started walking to the office, it took her a minute to come out that motherfuckers stairwell. And that's when she came out.

50She was like talking about, get my shit, get my shit. And then that's when she started grabbing me and I was pushing her. And that's when I got to the front of the office, she jumped on my back trying to cut my throat. And that's when I flipped off and it went up. Like that. Wow. And then... this is all right to be clear this was not your girlfriend this is your girlfriend's girl yeah type she was something like that she didn't look like a stud she looked like a female but she was like she's on some tough shit she thought she could be stabbing dudes in the face and shit type shit yeah and this is a knife she got on i they the school said it was a eyebrow curber but when i when the cop came in the room that i was like resting or whatever i saw he had uh it in a bag wrapped around with some paper towel.

38I saw the tip of that motherfucker. It was one of them small colorful knives. You know what I'm talking about? Small colorful knives. Like a Swiss Army knife? I don't know, but you gotta put it up. I don't be knowing what the fuck. A small colorful knife. I'll show you what a Swiss Army knife looks like if that helps. No, no, no. I don't think it's that one. I don't know what kind of knives are in vogue with the teenage crowd these days. Like that. Okay. Like that. Them little sharp motherfuckers. Oh, I have to show you. Yeah. They can't see it. That's okay. He's going to have to pop a picture up of that motherfucker.

14But, um. Yeah, the school tried to cover it up with an eye cover. Which they did. You said the school tried to cover it up? Yeah. Why so? Because I had told the principal. The principal ain't trying to get in trouble. The principal ain't do shit. If he had, look. If he would have searched her, she would have went home. I would have had my sisters pull up to her crib that same weekend to beat her ass because I had both her addresses because I was motherfucking serving carts and shit to all the motherfucking white and motherfucking people in that bitch man allegedly no we had carts but are you just like immediately just like touring blood out of your face so that's what so I slammed off my back and I'm trying to figure out if she, if she, if my nose is bleeding or if she cut me.

08So I didn't even know. Like, I'm over here and I'm like, damn, what the this bitch cut me again? And then that's when, um, because I had another incident before that. Right here. No, no, no, no. I just got cut again. So like this cut and this cut are separate stories. Yeah. And then that's when, that's when I punched the one time, one time. I wanted to stomp on her, but the fucking principal came running out. But I wouldn't have felt good doing that shit. But she just touched her face. Yeah, if a girl buck 50'd me, I'll... I still got the scar right now. I got hell of a scar right now. This is the scar, though.

45I mean... You punched the shit out of her. I punched the shit out of her. When you see women running at cops with knives, the cops kill them. Mm-hmm. But that's when... It's not gonna be like that. The whole time that shit was going on, I had a purse in my left hand. She should have run through that, too. My principal came running out. He was like, Chris, Chris, calm down. Come here, Chris, come here. I'm like, nah, bitch, you come here. I'm bitching to that. The same principle that me and my ex had went and told that to do that shit, to check her ass or whatever the fuck. And that's when we went to the motherfucking room.

14I dumped the whole bag on his desk. She had two vapes at this point. And he was like, oh. He would have found that shit. She would have went home. I would have had my sister beat her ass that same weekend. And you never got cut. Never got cut. But look, everything for a reason. Was it held accountable, though? Like, the school? Like, would you Compensated or some shit since Kind of let you get cut on their watch I look, I kind of look So look You ain't put your answers on or no? Did I? No, no I didn't So I just let God take care of me shit Everything for a reason shit After that shit She helped me, she helped me basically It would be a shame if she ended up dead, huh?

57Adam, no Adam You can't say that. But rappers always come on here and they're like, yeah, he did. I don't know what happened. I don't know what. I hope not. I don't wish death upon nobody. It ain't different, though, because it's a female. They do. They do. Fuck that. They got to die, too. If you try to cut my face, use a dude. Adam. You're going to die like a dude. This is my fucking ass. I'm a filter, man. I'm just being real. What was I at? You made me lose track. All right. So was the school held accountable, though? Oh, nah. out of person still have a nice the country hell nah I guess they covered this shit up shit I ain't really I ain't really have money for a lawyer either shit so usually I got to care of it but that's when

42I just had it so you punched her no no no okay look I went to I went to alright so look look I went to D.A.E.P. after after she sliced me alternative school they sent me to alternative school after she sliced me oh shit For 20 days My ass got jumped by like 10 dudes But none of them touched my face Cause they was trying to jump my homeboy for a dispo It was bullshit I really got set there for no reason But shit it changed my My My expansion of life I guess Cause my expansion of my mind Cause motherfuckers in my school that I was going to Them motherfuckers was nothing like that Shit I felt like I was back in my My element or back in my Landscape I come from the hood And that Booker T is just like a bunch of White people White watch people But this is the story of how you dropped out of school So that stabbing incident was what No no no You gotta let me get to it I'm just trying to help you along here Why have Remo got a black mouth Somebody left it here It's his If you face that in the interview It'd be so funny One long ass poo the whole thing that'd be crazy that'd be fucked up but um that's when y 'all made a motherfucker made me forget again why you dropped out of school I went to the AEP for 20 days right I went back to school I went back to Booker T for a week and I got caught f***ing my bitch so uh you was that's what you're supposed to do you got caught f***ing at the school yeah that's why you got kicked up uh huh Where was your location that you were piping in the school?

29In the bottom of the stairwell I definitely knew some people who got expelled for that one You know another one now

40It was the same principle that caught us The same principle I told to do something That we told to do something That's crazy He stood there and watched us for a little bit I was like I kind of wanted to tell him you want to join like he stood there for a whole month and you knew you're still looking right at him I was mid stroke like this and he fucking he's standing right here that close? No I'm probably like over here I'm under the stairwell so I'm on the floor I'm on the floor right I'm the missionary he over here just posted up on the wall I swear he put his foot on the wall he's sitting there like this putting your foot up his nuts straight to my ankles her legs wide up in the air yeah he's trying to let you get your shit off for a second I don't know what the well I was going to say the crazy thing about that is that like he's going to basically ruin your life by getting you expelled or whatever but meanwhile there's no proof it's just him saying that he saw it which is like you know in court that shit is not necessarily gonna hold up but in school if he says that he saw it then I lost the fight did he run over and like pull you apart like it's a fight I wish he would've I wish he would've I would've slapped him in my dick in school if you're fighting they pull you apart but if you're I mean Adam you have a point What do you do?

22What's the protocol? You just say, hey, stop it. And if they don't stop, you're going to say, no, for real, stop. Or put them apart. Imagine you put them apart and you just just. No, if you touch them, you're part of the problem. You'd catch it. Somehow, like, you have committed some crime. I don't know what crime yet, but something. You're, like, touching teenagers while they have sex. That's, like, that's got to be illegal. Oh, it does have to be illegal. I mean, in some way. I don't know. Yeah. Anyway. So when she cut your face You had to get like How many stitches and shit The doctor stopped counting Damn Type shit Maybe you just can't Count that high but What was your thought Hey what was your thought When you seen like Like damn I got the scar on my face Like how you felt What you mean like When it was open Or when he When it was the stitches Was done In general Somebody coming to my face I'd be mad as hell So like So two days I guess Two days Or a day after Yeah I was looking in the mirror at my stitches and shit, and I just started laughing and crying at the same time.

23I went crazy. But shit, I don't know. I mean, it's weird because when you get a big cut on your face or whatever, it looks so insane, but then you forget that it's going to mostly heal up. Like, obviously, it's still very visible right now, but it's nothing compared to how it looked when you got it. That bitch is open to the bitch. Have y 'all seen the picture? No. Kevin, you got the picture? bring it up I don't think I'm gonna see this shit I mean was there a part of you though from the beginning that was like as much as I would have preferred this to have not happened it does look kind of cool nah I thought the shit was cool that's why I wasn't tripping shit I was like shit we finna boost up motherfucking shit I'm not gonna lie yeah like Mano is an older rapper from New York like when I look at him he got a crazy ass buck fifty from prison or some shit when I look at him I'm like I'm glad I don't have that but also if I did have that I don't think I would be that mad that looks pretty badass although your story is kind of wild it's a girl bro it could have been a guy but I hope he probably would have actually killed my ass he almost just knocked you out what the f*** overhand suit you play football niggas I played two inches away from breaking his jaw what the fuck it actually probably would have looked kind of like this damn that is gnarly it looks like the Joker dude I made a song I made a song I ain't gonna lie I was thinking about it but they would have known it was me seeing that picture that picture is crazy I'm on an interview

11she's still alive she's still alive She dead. No, I don't. So, all right, tell us, though, what's it like growing up in Oak Cliff, though? So, like, we hear about Dallas, we hear about Houston. Break down what Oak Cliff is like and where that at in Texas. How far away from, like, the major cities? Citizen Dallas, Texas, it's probably, like, 20 minutes from downtown. Where? To the part I grew up in, it's really just poverty. A bunch of crackheads walking around everywhere. A bunch of Y-Aims Stealing cars and shit I was stealing cars Just bullshit I don't know Do you feel like you had any kind of Positive outlook as a kid Or was it just all kind of like We're just here in the hood And this is what life is Shit I feel like The only positive I really remember Me running around with my homeboys Shit I don't Or like I don't know shit Going to a restaurant In the hood Yeah But um Other than that shit Shit get crazy I don't know You just gotta Keep your distance And be respectful Where did you feel like You jumped off the porch Or like you You was outside Just being active Or You know what you wanna do I feel like I jumped off And went right back On that motherfucker I had to calm down I got caught up in, um, I probably, like, 14, no, 15, 15, 16.

46When you say you got caught up, what do you mean? Like, arrested or something? Yeah, yeah. What'd you get arrested? Breaking in the f***ing cars. Oh, where? Buggered to a bait car like a dumbass. Oh, shit. A bank car? A bait car. A bait car. A bait car. But not part of the TV show, right? They just were doing a sting. I wish it was, bitch. I would've took them on a ride. Alright, so when you say you got caught up in the bait car, describe the experience, right? How you figured out was a big deal? Oh, look. So we was trying to get like four kids. Me and my homeboy, we were trying to get like four kids and go to downtown.

17Also, you're a kid boy. Type shit. We was trying to get like four kids, bitch. And the screwdriver we had was two weeks. So we was like, fuck this shit. We finna start breaking into bitches and just car hopping. And we started doing that. And that's when we broke into the first car, the Bay car. And they had a MacBook and a motherfucking passenger seat. Oh, and so did you actually get in the car and start driving it? I don't know. Oh, because I know a dude who was on the TV show, Bait Car. I ain't know about them bait cars until I got caught up in one of them hoes. They had told me it was like, I think that my homeboy had told me that they'd be leaving the keys in them hoes and shit.

59Yeah, yeah, exactly. He drove like halfway down the block and the cops just pulled him over right away. I think they ended up dropping the charges in exchange for him being on the TV show with his face not blurred. I think so, but I don't know. Maybe it was just real. This is in LA too, so it's like if they're going to do a bait car show, I guess they're probably going to just film it in LA. Imagine they get an episode of OC Chris taking a bait car. I'm not going to lie though, that dude, this was back when I was just a BMX rider. I mean, that was all anybody ever talked about with him. His nickname was Bait Car.

36Oh, damn. I wasn't stealing the car. I was just trying to, like, hit a lick and take what I would do. Yeah, yeah. And then my homeboy picked that bag up. It was a backpack with a MacBook in it. And my did have a check in it. But that's when the cops, we went to the other side. We was at Walgreens. We went to the other side of the Walgreens and broke into another car. And that's when four cop cars pulled up and they started running. And I had some baggy ass jeans on and some forces on, and they were laced. Like, they weren't even tied up. They were just laced. And that was slipped off. And I had to jump over a fence about the size of Adam.

16And the cop was like, stop running, I'm a Tasia. And I had to stop running, man. And I stopped right there, and his ass fucking tackled me. Like a bitch. That was my first time. And they got my prints How long you had to sit down for? It was a night I was out there the next night Shit I ain't take the laptop But shit Two of my homeboys got away Shit one of my homeboys got out there with me Shit but it was a night My mom came and picked me up the next day She was She wasn't even mad She was just like Retardant So were your pops in your life at this time too? Cause you said Mom and dad You living with both for it Nah my My mom and dad I don't think they ever Been together While I was Alive But um Shit My mom Shit I grew up With my mom But my dad Shit um I grew up Basically I work With my dad Shit I grew up Working with my dad Ever since I was like Eight Shit I was cutting Yards Fences Electrical Remodeling Anything you can Think of I do anything Yeah You said you got Eight sisters eight siblings?

27I got eight sisters and two brothers. So I got ten siblings. That's a lot. You the youngest or where you fall in line? I'm probably about the

40fourth youngest. The other day we were having a conversation about how even super rich people usually only have two kids, maybe three kids. It's just that stressful. It's that much work. The idea of having 10 kids, especially when you're like normal people, they're not like super rich or anything. It's not with the same parent. So it's my mom, she got two little sisters. I have two stepsisters that I call my real sisters because I grew up in a house with them. My real siblings grew up in DeSoto, like in the suburbs. And they grew up in a two-story house. I grew up in the hood. I'm the odd one out.

22I'm the only one out of all my siblings that grew up out the hood. Besides my stepsisters and my two little sisters that my mom got. So that's already four sisters. And then on my dad's side, I got two sisters from another female he had. And then another little sister from another female. And then my two brothers from the first two mom. So he had four. Oh, no. I'm bullsitting. My one brother, yeah, with this mom, and then I had another brother, yeah, with another female in Denton. I think I got mixed up. And then I have an aunt that I call my sister. Okay. So when did you start actually rapping?

07When did you get interested in that? When I was 10. 10? I started freestyling when I was 10. Oh, shit. And when I was 11, that's when I made my first song, I voiced memos. And then that's when I got out. I went to work with my dad for like a week. And I made like$600 and I bought a mic soundproof all that shit and I started getting right in my room and So what made you want to make music? Shit my homeboy my homeboy Devin He just started it was just me him his cousin daily on she was just chillin shit chill out the park chillin his crib shit freestyling beats and I was actually good at it and I kept this shit going.

50I be telling him like, motherfucker, you the one that got me in a rap and he was like, you the one that kept it going. You don't be wanting to take an account. I don't know. I mean, it's one thing to like make a few songs. It's another thing to be determined enough that you keep doing it for many years. What? My bad. It's one thing to make a bunch of songs. It's another thing to like take that inspiration of that person making a couple songs and then keep doing it to the point where you end up signed to a label and all that kind of shit. Yeah, you know shit. See, I knew, I had bought him a ticket to the YB show.

25Shout out YB. And shout out Montana too. Shout out Kevin Ganks. You'll definitely see something soon. See, I bought him a ticket to see the YB show. I was with him before him. But, he had to get through some shit so he couldn't even make that motherfucker. But, shit. I wasn't performing opening up for Youngboy. Wasn't in a crowd like, it looked crazy. shit the first day there was a little I want to be in their motherfucking boots but the second oh so you opened up two nights in a row oh that's hard the first day I guess they were being a little quiet my own city was being a little quiet but the second day they was with me a little motherfucking shit I think it's cause that first day they had some like some special schedule shit right or whatever like people I think they they pay extra you know it was some special like it was a special show or whatever it was an added date so like people really mainly went there to see YB I guess they didn't want to see my ass they probably haven't seen any life I mean that's always the problem it's like you open for Chief Keef I mean you know they want to see Chief Keef they ain't really here to find out about new rappers but at the same time having 20 ,000 people or whatever look at you hear you perform maybe the next time they hear one of your songs they're like oh yeah right yeah i remember that yeah all right because that's just familiarity is like everything when it comes to music like if you play that's all i need if i hear one of your songs 10 times i'm probably gonna be like oh yeah like i remember it i could kind of like hum alone to it i know a couple of little lyrics yeah he already he already singing the fuck out right here i walked in the door he's talking about hey how you doing let's talk about that song because that that song like because rainwater been showing me your music but that song right there was the one where i was like oh yeah this kid's a star he finna blow up that song man um i really don't even know how i got the idea to to write that i don't even remember how to be go even though the music video where y 'all shoot that We shot that at a ranch Yeah I was on a horse What's the name of that ranch?

41What's the name of Old boy? You don't remember the name? That my bad old boy I was finna shout him out You feel like that song Is like The biggest song that you've done? Like people gravitating towards it? I feel like they gravitate towards it But it's not the biggest song I've done I still have plenty of work to do I say it's not the best song I've done It's not the best song I'm gonna do But shit I got some shit for them What songs people know you for in, like, Texas? Besides that one, like, what song, like, everybody like? Sky Forever. Sky Forever. Take Over the Block. Put That on Anything.

14What else? Is it? That's a good roster right now. So how long were you making music, and when does Rainwater enter the picture? Like, he's Puff Daddy and just totally changed your life. All right. So, look, that's, we, I was making music in my room probably until I was, like, 15 16 and that's 14 and that's when I met that's when I met this motherfucker in high school at Booker T and that's when after I met him probably like a month later or a couple weeks later my mom found out my mom found a friend that she used to go to high school with on Facebook and that motherfucker had a studio two minutes from my crib in the hood I was like what I offered Denley and Morel 75216 If y 'all don't know And yeah shit Two minutes from the crib I never knew That was the first studio I ever been to I started going down And we got to work And then That's when We had a show We had a show A couple months later With JG Shit And Ringwater And Big X was also Performing there And that was probably The first time We met Big X First time we met Big X And Big X had perform.

32I was the last one to perform. But Yatesa performed and he took the whole crowd with him. Everybody had left. It was like three people in the crowd. And then that's when Rainwater was on the stage. He was gonna walk off and leave. But that's when I started singing. He turned around like, who the f*** is this? And then I just kept singing. He was talking to my manager the whole time. K1. Said, yo, that's the first time I met Rainwater. And after that, you know what? There wasn't even the motherf***er day we locked in. He was, I guess he was messing with another artist before that. And it took him like a whole six months to come actually finally lock in with us and shit.

10And that's when we did some production deal, whatever the fuck. And, yeah. So what was the dream that he sold you on? The dream. Like, what did he tell you he could help you accomplish in your life? He was just going to help me pay for studio time and music videos and shit. Okay. So she's just like a, what is it? An investment. And so he, but he did not in any way get you to drop out of high school. This is just totally false. Yeah. He said that for real. Yeah. He was in the rain. He did tell me that. I mean, that's just him like crafting a narrative. Cause I was kind of thinking like, damn, that's some cold hearted shit.

53Like, I don't know if I would be able to tell a 16 year old kid to drop out of high school to be a rapper. nah I was I wanted to finish school but I don't know I felt like after that month I didn't get my credits I was like I don't even think this shit for me anymore I mean I'm gonna be real like I wanna finish school if you're 16 and you have motion as a rapper you should drop out of school cause realistically you probably are not gonna have this opportunity again you know so it's like that is my advice but I would just feel bad encouraging a kid to do that. Shit. I know what it is. Yeah. So besides what was Ranger Waters' job besides just investing?

38What else was he hands-on doing? He pulling out to the studio? He helping you network? He's not talking to you about how to make a dope record and everything? Shit. I will give him props. Shit, he did help a little bit with my motherfucking mix type name. Everybody hate Chris. I mean, that's really how it is. It's a show. It's a show shit. But I almost feel like it's like a play by you guys to like make him seem like a joke of a manager. What was the question again? Sorry. How much? So what was Rainwater's job like essentially for you? Like when he discovered you, what was he doing? Shit, well, people think he was managing me, but who was managing me for real was K1 shit.

23People would think he was making them posts. He really wasn't making no post Shit Say the question again So what you feel like he did for you though People thought he was your manager I feel like I used his image I feel like a bunch of the people that followed him They saw me and they started f***ing on me But shit I feel like he pushed me shit He pushed me a little bit shit I thank him for that Why y 'all split sides because it seems like y 'all ain't rocking me Shit I'd rather not speak on that but But, shit, I hope he's doing good. And, shit, we ain't going to get into that. Did he try to give you drugs?

00No. Okay. But, yeah. Did he actually get you signed to a label, though? That's a real thing, right? I don't know how it worked. How it worked, K1? They reached out to me. They reached out to K1 first, and then Rainwater butted in. Well, as your manager, he's supposed to get in there, right? He wasn't my manager. He was just, like, investor type shit. But his face card was helping y 'all get the looks and shit where they wanted to reach out? In a way? I guess so, yeah. Yeah, it was kind of like a thing where it's like he kind of got brought into it because they saw him. So, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.

38So, yeah, he say, yeah, because they had missed the chance to sign Mo3 before he died. So, they didn't want to miss another chance on signing probably like another Mo3. I don't know. him having Mo3 signed to him or being involved with artists like that did that make you want to lock in with him? like what made you even want to lock in with him? lock in with Rain? yeah lock in with Rain anyway shit um no shit I don't at first when I met Rain I didn't even know he was Mo3 manager um and that's when I found out I was like oh okay but um I really just did it for the investment shit because shit I really I really ain't have money from the motherfucking studio Oh or some money babe you take them serious type shit Well shit I took them serious Before that but Shit After I took them serious I took them serious After what Can't say to what It sounds like to me y 'all cause like Just reading between the lines It sounds like y 'all fell out over some money No Like a record deal problem him or...

49Nah. We were just... Nigga, me, you, Adam. He just got over the top. He just got over the top a little bit. Word, word. Shit, this is what we're gonna leave it at. Like, when they asked me, like, yo, you wanna interview OC Chris? I was like, oh, yeah, that was Rainwater's artist. Then I look at YouTube this morning, and I'm like, oh, this is Rainwater's op. Rainwater introduced us. What you gonna name this interview? Interviewing Rainwater's op. oxyconn chris oxyconn chris it's o 'cliff chris we gotta introduce you to uh oxyconn chris who's hefe he's a kingpin from out here get you on a song nice to meet you hefe I hope we lock in soon um shit okay um

43who said that somebody told me that shit Is that true or not? Who said that? You know, I be hearing a little shit Ain't nothing like that It's good though between y 'all Y 'all got a cordial relationship It's cool I don't really know I don't really know People don't really know me We still have yet to conversate And Shit Come off again Shit I don't know How do you feel about like Working with other artists And like Outside of Texas and shit Like Anybody you wanna work with That you pushing to work with

20Kevin Gates Kevin Gates and YB Kevin Gates YB If you blow your hand off the Kevin Gates feature is a sure thing Man, chill out Adam This nigga is Hey Kevin Gates Sorry Kevin Gates again Sorry That motherfucker love me I was over there in the back in the back rooms at the Young Boy concert and Kevin see me he's like Chris he run up to my ass give me a big ass hug for like 15 seconds genuine genuine I was like what so he already knew where he was he already I got half the game in my hands right now got the game in my hands right now but so when you fell out with Rainwater was it like oh shit like all these relationships are gonna go away he's gonna turn people against me or did it not feel that serious shit I know they love me for me Not for Rainwater Shit I know he thought shit He was gonna leave me And all of them motherfuckers Gonna leave me too Shit But I know they love me for me They don't love Rainwater Oh yeah He made a post Saying that And now that I think about it It probably was about you But it was the day Youngboy was performing and shit He was saying Youngboy the biggest artist in there And then he still got artists That signed to him That's gonna be Performing out there And open up and shit And then turns to find out You was a nigga that opened up So I think that post was about you, but it seemed like he's still rooting for you, though.

50Do you feel that? Do you feel like he's still rooting for you? It probably was his ass. I mean, he do be still rooting for me. I think for that, too. Yeah. We ain't no bad blood. Ain't no bad blood. Oh, yeah. I just realized that Rainwater did text me earlier and said. When? At 2.46 p.m. today. Saying, about you. Dude, the reason we got into it, after he signed, he wouldn't give his mama no money. And then it's a screenshot of like a conversation between Nancy, Chris's mom, and him about money. Saying you wouldn't give your mom some money. So look. I can't even put that on my phone. But shit, he just, he talking out of his ass.

38He was, I guess he a little sad right now. But I did give my mom money. He don't know the full story. Why would that even affect? How does that even affect him, right? I'm trying to see, like. He's just talking at his ass. Because I think she was messaging him asking for money. She was because there was an incident where my mom was going through some, and I did not feel like she needed the money there in that time. So, because, like, what she was doing, I felt like she could do better. Word. So. You didn't approve her. If I gave her the money, it would have made her do worse. Oh, okay. So I'm just.

20I'll be with you, Pond. Yeah, I'm just trying to keep my mom. But then you and Rainwater somehow fell out over that. Nah, we ain't fall out over that. It's deeper than that, both. If he texts you that, it's deeper than that. We ain't fall out over that. He lying right there. There's some other shit, man. He just went over the top. He trying to cover it up. but shit I ain't gonna talk I mean he is a narrative spinner I can't imagine what it would be like to be in like a real he manipulator he gonna manipulate you man but he understands the power of public perception and he a lot of times in like our conversations on camera he'll be trying to like he'll have his version of events and he's really just trying to ram that idea down your throat and I can't it's cool because we just doing content but I can imagine if you're his artist maybe then that would be not as fun.

14He had his he had his interview with yeah interview with Real Live Streetstars. Yeah. Same platform you dissed him. I ain't even dissed him. There ain't no dissing shit. I'm just saying I'm just saying like shit they asked me a question shit I couldn't find the answer. I mean I did forget the BET shit. I didn't forget it. I didn't forget it. It was just it wasn't right there. It's just like right now. But What's the BT shit He took you to the BT awards Shit um Yeah shit He took me to the BT awards Shit um Yeah shit It was a nice time Shit I thank him for that too And Shit he took me Expanding Type shit But um You said he had an interview And he was saying what Uh He He was just talking about me For like a whole 20 minutes Come on I think it was longer How long was he talking about me for Like 20 minutes don't forget talking about me for like 20 minutes he talked about me the longest out of everybody else can you believe that come on Rain I mean you gotta change get in the audience I think Rain know the superstar potential and power that you have so he can feel a way about the business not going back I'm sorry and I'm sorry about that Rain but it's time we have to go our separate paths and I hope you're doing fine and there's no disrespect and no bad blood just be going to stay prepared.

41That's how it is. It's very bold of you to be so young and to already know what you want in a manager type person or whatever. I know who I want to run and I know who I don't. I'm going to say this one thing even though it is he told me he was mad at you for sucking P-Killitoes. He was. Why would he be so upset? Why was he upset with that? You know what? The way he just said that shit made him sound like he my bitch. Or like he trying to make it seem like I'm his bitch. Why you suck a P-Killer Toad? Why you not suck my toes? Wait, what? I don't think he said that. It wasn't like that. I think he felt like it was a bad look for you to do on the internet or something.

26He did say that. It was like it make you look like a peon, he said. And I was like, what's wrong with Suck a Toad and shit? I mean Vaughn off 1700 was rubbing sexy reds feet right? They gonna see it they gonna be like oh he suck toes but it's tricky it's like how much of a meme do you want to make yourself because I honestly like I've seen that with a lot of those SoundCloud rappers where it's like there was times where I would see Lil Pump maybe like doing some some trolling shit and I'd be like damn like if you keep doing this it kind of feels like it takes away from the music you know like it's It's kind of hard to be the guy who's viral every day saying some crazy shit and then also be the dude that people are dying to hear what they're saying musically.

12Shit, well. I don't know, shit. I just suck toes. You were just getting freaky with her. Why you let her film it, though? Shit. You wanted the clout. You wanted the clout from sucking a girl's toes. Yeah, yeah. I wanted the clout shit. That's how the game works these days. Sucking toes, man. If you ain't sucking toes, then you just, you ain't a man. You clap her cheeks or nah? Did I? She was hitting me up wanting to go to the Youngboy show. For real? I like that psycho fan energy, you know? That's what she got. Red hair.

53I don't know. You guys go back or what? You've been around her for a while or this is like a new flirtation? Nah, we... It's been a little many already. As you been clapping her cheeks. At her. I may have. I may have. Yes, I may have. She's kind of famous out here on the food pages and whatnot, you know? Yeah, I know. I know. I know. Oh, that's why Lefty wanted to fight you? Probably. Probably. Nah, I hope not. Did I guess it? Everybody's laughing their asses off over there. I know. If you know, you know the type of shit. So, look, how you and Paul Wall linked up? I know he went to Texas Goats Hey Powerwall man Y 'all just did a video together Or something I seen y 'all hanging out Shit um Yo we did a video together Trig on last long man I just got my first mixtape Everybody hey OC Chris Out now Um Trig on last long Me and Powerwall Um She popped that in my Motherfucker music video man Yeah it's hard The videographer D Green Shout out D Green as well He said that Powerwall don't Don't normally pop out The music video or shit Yeah, you don't see him hopping on a lot of songs these days.

09He's kind of in his own world. You one of the hottest niggas coming out of Texas right now. Do you feel it? You feel like you got the wave? Are you starting to really feel like damn, this shit working? Not yet? I feel like they ain't me for real yet. I dropped my mixtape and like I expected better, bitch. Really? You know? But, you know. You expected better, like, people's reaction to be better or for the sales to be better? I feel like their reaction is pretty good. But I feel like the views or, like, the way. I don't know. Like, I just wanted that bitch to. Like, I don't know how this shit work for real.

54I should be wanting to drop music. I don't want them motherfuckers just overload. You know, like. But, shit, I guess it don't work like that. but that puts me to work harder. You know what that is? That is Rainwater slick hating on you by not getting you the bots. It's all good. Wait, shit. Say, Rainwater, if I'm assigned to you, I want the Kendrick bots. The Kendrick bots. Those are some good bots. Them bots that make you go number one. We don't get no bots, Adam. No? This is straight. You're not going to make it on the music game unless you get some bots. No, we're going to make it, Adam. Give me some bots.

28Nah. Send this off the muscle. We'll see how you do without your bots I don't know man Are we gonna get bots K1? Nah No bots K1 Bots K1 Just bops How you know my man Cheddar Just bops It's not real Shut up PK How you lock in with Cheddar? Texas buzz in the building How do you lock in with Cheddar? 50:12Randover? I was on the hood of a car that Santy P was driving. And my ass fell off of that hood. My ankle got rand over by the car. Oh, shit. But that was good. And then after that, we went and did the interview with Texas Buzz. Shit. That was the first time I met him. Shit. Shout out Cheddar, man. See, like you got the whole Texas behind you, though. Everybody trying to like Slowly support You know what I'm saying I got to They better support shit If they don't shit They just They bushing for real shit I'm in they face everyday So you got ran over by a car But you also blew up your car Oh yeah Yeah I got ran over by a car But How you blow up a car So shit We blew that motherfucker With Tannerite man Tannerite You go get a bunch of that shit Shit it's like C4 What kind of car was it Anitra Ultima Was it an Altima?

01What part you don't love about it? Being on my phone. Being on your phone? Or like on Instagram. That's the best part of life. Just doom scrolling. On Instagram. I doom scroll on YouTube. As a rapper, you gotta like look at a million DMs. Be kind of fielding DMs all the time. That's what he's talking about. You gotta kind of always be just paying attention to everything. Like, I don't even text people on Instagram anymore, I think. I'd be going on that bitch and posting God quotes. Ooh, love a psalm. Yeah, God quotes and I'd be gone. Have a good day, everybody. You hella religious? Like, how often do you go to church?

43I haven't been to church in a minute, but I'd be waking up praying every day. I pray every day. Do you think God was watching when you were sucking Pico's toes? He definitely was. He was probably like, you know my child. saying that saying that what do we say what do we say the same shit he was just the guy was just saying it in a nicer way when God and Rainwater agreed the guy was just saying it in a nicer way oh man so Rainwater was like man you over there look like a motherfucker peon man you can't be motherfucking doing that shit man I don't like he was saying it like my dad a little bit shit but um yeah man do you think it was partially like a racial thing like it was weird for you to have a black dad all of a sudden No That wasn't part of it No Shit I grew up more around black people than my own kind Oh Shit So I don't know Shit That's what's up Shit you on tour with Mexican OT right now Or are you okay Oh yeah Shit we just started that back again What are the dates going on Uh It's the 21st I bet He's the 21st I bet that was too much 19th 20th 20th 25th and 26th we are on tour Mexican OT on the recess tour and uh yeah we we had did um it was the first dates right we did the first dates with him we did the first dates with him that was lit man first time first time I met OT nah that's like your second time second time I met him one time in the studio in Houston oh yeah second time I met OT but this time like he was really He was like really talking to me When I met him in the studio He was locked in He was writing some shit for Lil Wayne He was writing some shit for Lil Wayne?
