In short

Problem Da Goon talks with No Jumper host Play-A-Potna about growing up in Bassett/San Gabriel Valley, family and prison influences, getting into fights and gang life, religion vs the hood, and addiction/sobriety. The conversation also includes his views on “goon” morality, sex/condoms, and STD experiences, plus prison drug culture and “slamming” heroin.

Guest background

Problem Da Goon is a 28-year-old from Bassett, CA (SGV). He was raised mainly by his grandma and great-grandma while both parents were incarcerated; his dad was in prison and later reconnected with him. He says he was expelled from every school in his district and ended up in juvenile detention (Ironwood / youth offender program), where he started using heroin after a celly offered it. He claims he’s been sober from heroin for about four years, but still drinks and uses vapes.

Key claims

He says his “hood” identity was influenced early by stories about his dad and that he wanted to be like him. He argues God should come before the hood and says his son comes before everything. He says he doesn’t use condoms and has had STDs (chlamydia; possibly gonorrhea), framing them as treatable.

Notable examples

Meeting his dad in second grade; his dad visiting him at the hospital before a shootout; being kicked out of multiple schools via contracts; first heroin use in a sea yard after his celly offered it; one-time meth use leading to 24 hours of depression.

0:00No Jumper, coolest podcast in the world. I'm in here today with you, Play-A-Potna. You feel me? Put in the Mac in MacArthur Park, you'll play a potna. Let's, ooh, know what's happening. Let's, you know, in the building. And today we're sitting down with a dude who I'm a big fan of. This guy's hilarious. This guy got a lot of personality. He's definitely one of the more solid individuals that I've researched in recent memory. My man Problem Da Goon is on the podcast. How you feeling, dog? I missed it. I missed it. I'm still doing this. It's all good. the SA pound it was the west coast pound because I'm from the east coast and like we never do it and then I move out here and I'm like I have to get used to it why they don't do that out there like where's that east coast like New York type shit like in New York it was always the snap of the fingers was what it was all about and if you went missing a pound is like snap and not making like a loud ass noise and if you see like two dudes who are like some real solid brothers they snap do that shit loudest snap you ever heard in your life because they synced up.

0:59They're coordinating. They're coordinating. You feel me? How you feeling, man? I'm chilling right now. I'm chilling. My dude came through with the Hany Bottle, the Nicotine Vape, another vape. Wait, one's probably a weed vape. It's a wax, yeah. And then a mountain of mushrooms, too. Yeah, you got the puffin. I like it. And he's never shroomed before. I'm about to, though. You're gonna do it mid-pod. Yeah, because I never done it, so I'm gonna just do it mid, probably towards the end, because I never done it, so I just I was going to do it right now before you even came. Okay, honestly, if this interview might last an hour and a half is my guess, wait a half hour and then do it because it'll probably take a half hour to kick in.

1:41And if we can kind of watch you entering the Shroomiverse for the last half hour, that would be pretty funny. Make sure he's got water, too. You feel me? Water. Like a drink, right? Yeah, yeah, of course. No, definitely need water and definitely need someone to drive your ass home because that's probably like the main thing you just get you just get weird you get like like i know you gangsters but you get kind of like soft and sensitive and like somebody will say something weird to you and like you'll start overthinking it and like it's it's it's a it's a fun drug in certain circumstances but what if you're kind of already like that though

2:20you're kind of like sensitive huh you're kind of like sensitive oh so you already like somebody might say something you might start overthinking it i overthink everything so i think i'll be overthinking everything so like what if it's i'm already like that okay my i'm already naturally paranoid and shit like that do it chilling with your girl where you got some weed to smoke and you could maybe turn the tv on let's not use it's not a good time it's okay because like we're just hanging out and we're all friends here and everything and i think by the end of this we'll be better friends but we need to remove any blick and or any like filero you feel me like anything he might have on him that could potentially harm us i would have assumed that there would be no blicks in such a place for sure hypothetical blicks right mental blicks yeah may can you please remove all mental blicks i don't think he'll go full no but we look he's never he's never done it we don't there's no there's no proof of concept from my perspective like if you do like a reasonable amount you're not going to just like become a completely different person you're just gonna to become like a slightly more sensitive not because i don't know because like sometimes whatever i do like right now i'm faded so like i feel like i'm more easier to like conversate with but um and like when especially when i'm drinking i feel like it's more uh smoother for me like i don't feel like all like feel like everybody's like attacking me type shit so um i don't know how that shit's gonna make me feel but i'm i'm just i'm like fuck it but that was your protocol for coming here you're like i gotta get kind of loaded before i go into jump because nah hell know i was just like i just wanted to just drink a little bit loosening my nerves not like just necessarily just get up and come and get up now like yeah he hasn't really done any interviews before yes he has i mean like you know like yeah but like this is like it's no jumper this fool's been he knows about it he's been watching no jumper for me it's just a big moment for him yeah that's a big moment for me big moment for me i i've never considered myself too big for the little people i'm more excited about seeing him shroom yeah that really captured your attention i'm nervous though i'm nervous problem problem to shroom no because you know what i when i was with uh blue face when he went out at cardi b's show i watched him drink a pretty healthy portion of of hennessy and like face a blunt and then i was like oh okay because like a lot of times when i do things i'm nervous for i just kind of go in like totally sober yeah well i mean it just I feel like for him, you know, he you have an amazing personality, but like being being, you know, a thorough member and all that.

4:54You feel like sometimes you have to hold certain things back and you're like, no, hell no, because I just my thing is more of just like me. I'm just like I am who I am. I'm I could clown around and all that shit. But like when time comes to time, like it's different, you know, like or somebody does me wrong, then that's that's the time to go. but other than that I just be chilling like I'm not like who everybody thinks I am like I know a lot of people don't even like want to come up to me take pictures because I feel like they'd be like thinking I'm like this like you know like I don't know like maybe bully or like tripping on everything like yeah well yeah well it's in the name yeah well I got that in jail but yeah but like that shit just I don't know like it's I don't know I'd be chilling bro I just be like to I heard you kind of describing this on one of your interviews, but it definitely sounds like you is that you seem like you would actually be the dude patrolling the park.

5:50And that if anybody f***s around, you're going to be the dude kicking the pedophile's head in. Damn, you're the one keeping true truffle? Or like, you know, if there's a bear and he's eating out of people's picnic baskets, he's going to go wrestle the bear. Yeah, for sure. And the bear's going to get scared. And he's going to come home with something new to wear. And if I pull up, I might have to help the bear. Yeah, exactly. Please, call the wildlife preserve. You're probably a goon. I'm going to hold him back. That's just like your aura. You seem like you're patrolling shit. I'd just be chilling, bro.

6:26I really do. I'd just be chilling. Like I said, I'd be chilling. But when time comes to time, that's it. It is what it is, but yeah. I feel it. So being from the SGV, how would you say like the SGV is like similar growing up or different than the regular L.A. experience? I mean, I never grew up in L.A. I don't know how it is in L.A., but I mean, growing up and like growing up in the neighborhood, it was I mean, it's I don't know. Like, I mean, maybe not every kid's supposed to see all the type of shit I've seen. But I mean, like, I don't know. I feel like it's like every other neighborhood. Like, obviously not like every other neighborhood because, you know, they got the nice areas.

7:01But, I mean, it's something I don't think is that much different from LA. It's just LA is more crowded and more gangs everywhere. But, I mean, it's the same shit that goes on in LA. Same shit goes on the SGV. A lot of gangs out there, though, too. Yeah. Yeah. I'm looking at the map. All right. So Bassett is, like, hella far east. Yeah. Okay. Got it. So like once you pass East LA, like get to like Pasadena or like, I guess Monterey Park. Alhambra, that's the beginning of San Gabriel Valley. Not to be confused with where we're at, the San Fernando Valley, but they're both like right next to LA. That's a whole different valley.

7:39Yeah, it's very different. Yeah, it's a whole different valley. So tell us about Bassett. Like what is it like out there as far as the place to grow up? That shit's cool. I had a gang of cool ass memories growing up in Bassett. I have no but I mean like what do you mean like like as fuck I mean okay let's start this like what was your parent situation or your household situation like I mean I didn't have really nobody I just had my grandma great-grandma well my grandma and my great-grandma type shit you know I had my great-grandma and my grandma around most of my time my mom was busted my dad was busted type shit you mean busted they were they were both locked up yeah my mom I think was in the feds at the time for a little bit and then my dad was in prison okay yeah definitely all right were they like members or like are they from yeah yeah yeah so you're like generationally from your hood then yeah well like my grandpa's in the hood too so yeah okay so you're like third generation damn yeah okay like yeah because bassett it's interesting it's like a it's a pretty small area like in compare is it you got like puentes i mean it's small but it's like it looks big it looks big i mean it's big when i feel for me it feels like i'll be walking in a big ass city when i walk around the hill like right well it's like that's the thing the majority of it is like in the like considered like a part of the there's not like a rich area in like bass like that i mean yeah because i mean well like avocado heights is the neighborhood but like that's like i mean they have ranches like people like a lot of like mexican families got horses like they got nice ass pads over there like there's like dirt there's little dirt trails and shit like that but like it's it's it's nice over there they like have like land that they own and so yeah like it's nice over there it doesn't look bad it don't look that bad over there like i mean no it's more like agriculture and stuff like like you know like growing things and stuff like that like i mean yeah but then there's the part like where it's like a bunch of pads and shit and like you got the little little sections where they got like you know the we got chris's burgers right there like legendary legendary bomb chris's burgers gotta get the chili cheese fries right there people would be surprised to know how many like cities in southern california have like areas that look like a bunch of ranches and like cows and horses and bloomington's like that compton southgate yeah compton there's even parts of burbank that are like that there's you know literally true my kid nicest when i came around i was like damn that's just nice my kid was doing uh horseback riding lessons and there's a whole area that's like all horseback riding lessons yeah you have them in horseback riding lessons well thank god she wasn't really with it because it's hella expensive you put your kid in horseback riding lessons yeah you ride on the horse i've never heard no shit like that well i mean you gotta learn to ride the horse somehow right i remember how i learned how to ride so i jumped on that shit me too but she's like a little kid so i mean we tried it but i was like kind of like in my teenage i was teenage like 15 16 when i did that right but the problem is it's like a hundred bucks for like a 30 minute lesson yeah that's outrageous i think that's his primary source of concern he's like what like yeah we just see random horses in the hood and jump on when she told me she wasn't doing it anymore i was so happy i was like that because that's just outrageous it's so much more than it costs to like put them in soccer what do you even think of doing that i mean honestly it was my girl's decision for sure it was but also like i feel But in a way, it's like, okay, if you put your kids into bougie-ass sports, then maybe they're going to meet bougie-ass kids, and then maybe that'll somehow help them ascend in life.

11:06You got to, I mean, I don't know. But rich kids ride horses, which is clear to me now that I know that it's$100 for a half hour. For sure. They play polo, things like that. That shit sound gay. Yeah. That's true. Yeah, it does sound bad. No offense to people that play whatever the shit they call it, but that shit sounds gay. My kid was talking about, or my girl was talking about polo the other day, and I was like, you know, I don't even know what that is besides the Ralph Lauren logo. I think they like have mallets. Even like water polo. I remember my cousin used to be playing, they used to be on the water polo team.

11:35I just thought that she was so gay. No, that is gay. Like, you fools are literally like... They grab each other's dicks as a method of distraction. Like, yeah, literally. Like, when they see the ops, they're like, boom. Okay. You grab cocks? I've never grabbed a cock, but if I played water polo, I'd be a cock-grabbing-ass defenseman. Whatever. I'm a team player, bro. And if we're playing... but she's grab a cock whatever prevents the goal homie yeah whatever prevents the goal well actually my dad told me that matter of fact my dad told me that my dad told me when you fight somebody you know bite them grab their balls whatever and i've always won fights so you feel me that's the weird thing there's like rules that people follow in fights that they don't have to follow like if you really there's no rules in fighting what the fuck you get it down with somebody but have you ever have you ever gouged somebody's eyes out no i never done a shit like But that's like kind of the best thing you could do in a fight.

12:26Well, I never even had to take it that far. Like where they even get like that close to me. So, yeah, I'm just saying like, I was like, if it was a life or death situation, I probably would do that. But I mean, usually I'd just be like punching shit out. So what if you ran into one of the ops and he was like asleep? It was like, you know, like a house party or something. You like happen to show up there. He's asleep and he's like this. Would you like you wouldn't like walk up creeper real slowly and be like, boink, and just poke him in the eyes. Nah, that's gay as hell. Who the fuck? Right, but look.

12:53You're following rules that don't actually exist, but in your mind it's just inappropriate. It's just wrong. That shit just sounds stupid. Why would I poke on my enemy? Because then they'll be blind. You can beat the fuck out once they're blind. Yeah, what's he going to do after that? I don't know. I feel like if I... I don't know. I ain't going to speak on that. No, but you got a good moral compass. You don't want to just ruin somebody's eyes just because of a squad. Nah, I'm just saying I wouldn't waste my time doing all that. What the fuck? You'd blame them, Dan. You're probably the goon. Nah, I ain't going to do all that.

13:22For sure, for sure. Just grab dicks and gouge eyes. Right. But, yo, he told a crazy story in one of his interviews where he talked about actually meeting his pops. And you were just, like, out on the street, and you just seen him just kicking it, right? My dad? Yeah, and you actually, like, went up to him, and it was, like, awkward because you met him, like, later in life, right? No, well, when I met him was, like, in second grade. That was the time, like, I met him was, like, second grade. my uh my uncle like everybody was telling me about my dad so like that's what kind of like transitioned me into like i feel like the not to like blame it on him but i feel like that's what transitioned me into like starting like wanting to like like kick it with my cousins that were like claiming the hood and all that stuff shit like that but um because i was hearing stories about him so i never had my pops around so when my mom kind of got out i started hearing because my dad was like writing letters and shit to me when i was out but like i never got to read the letters I seen like a few Like a Christmas letter Or something She did like a badass drawing Cause he's always been doing Drawings and shit But um Yeah Uh He bought me like Some shoes and shit My mom ended up She ended up selling But Yeah like I don't know She I don't know That shit's just uh Like My Like when I met him It was I was young I was the 8 I think I was in 2nd grade But I flunked 2nd grade But like It was around the time When I met him When I flunked When I started up but um yeah like i met him and then after you know like when i ran into him was when i got out he got he was out of prison i had just got out of prison and we had we were at a like a weed shop and shit we were kicking in you know whatever but it wasn't nothing like crazy like that it was more like we just met up we just kind of like ran into each other and we started like you know like he was telling about certain shit it was a bad story but i don't even want to say all that shit but it's just like it's crazy how everything like went with me and my pause but i just talked to him literally before i came here i talked to him here and there i don't really talk to him as much but uh i talked to him here and there so the relationship is like decent now at this point i don't feel like it's decent i don't feel like it's where i want it to be but uh i don't know like we because like i don't really talk to him like that like i literally just i just randomly me hit him up i randomly hit him up like i'll hit him up and then like i just called him facetimed him and shit chopped it up a little real quick but uh yeah i don't i don't feel like it's where i want it to be though like i feel like he should like hit me up more but i don't know so you said that like you started doing this bad in school and shit after you met him like yeah that changed your mentality a little bit well because i was hearing stories about shit so like i remember like my cousins would always be like damn like you know hearing stories about this this and that so that shit just like put me up to like start fucking up fighting in school doing all that shit like you know i just started getting into it like literally just just fighting all the time and just getting kicked out getting suspended i got kicked out from all my all my whole district i got kicked out of literally every school in my district van wigs son kids don julian i literally went to all of those schools then after like around fifth grade they had to do like a contract and they had to pay every principal from each school to see which one was going to take me back and van wigg ended up taking me back and literally my first day there i got down with some food and but they didn't they didn't um i was on a contract i was on i violated i don't have any contracts they every time they gave me a contract i was violating all that shit every time so but so you you got expelled from every school to the point where they had to bring all the principals together to decide which one hated you the least?

17:06Like a reverse draft. What the? That's insane. I don't know anything like that. Yeah, I didn't know that existed. But I guess at a certain point, like, once you've gone through all the schools, then you still gotta go to school, and so they gotta try to find one of them. I mean, typically, there'd be no obligation and you'd be getting homeschooled or, like, sent to a placement home or some shit. Yeah, but my people was gonna do that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Homeschool shit. I had to walk my sister to school, so. At what age were you, like, did you have in your head like okay I'm for sure finna be from the hood this is what my life is I felt like it was already like that around second grade like I was already feeling like I wanted to be a gang member like I wanted to be like like my pops I literally wanted like that's I mean like it took me time to realize that as I got older but I literally remember growing up like when I met my dad it was a wrap like I was like that's my dad like this is my pops so you seen the way he was basically yeah how people was talking about him so I was like I want to be like that and it just started like happening over time like it was like it was going to happen regardless so i mean i feel like i mean i don't try to blame him or nothing like that because i mean uh uh i'm i make my own decisions but like i just feel like that was a little influence on me like it was a little like damn like i want to be like my pops you know but like at the same time now that i'm getting older like i don't want to be like my pops i want to be better than that but like i'm still learning shit I was like oh because I'm a I'm a I'm a dad now you know so but like I feel like I need to do more what I'm than what I'm doing you know I feel like I could do more but I'm not I don't know because I'm not I don't know I feel like I'm in a like I'm in a place sometimes where like I just be like sitting sometimes I'm just like damn like like I don't know what to do sometimes you know so yeah I don't know I mean I mean when you look at like the way your dad was where he was getting locked up and you just didn't what didn't really have an active role in your uh in taking care of you that did that influence like how much you wanted to be involved in your kid's life and is it possible or do you have like issues with baby mama uh i mean i don't have issues like i mean no i don't have issues it's just like it's just um i don't know i i i feel like there's like people out there that got like the they got the chance to like literally be in their in their kids lives and they don't and like i feel like the people that really want to be in their like kids life even if they don't got the fede or whatever they just want to be as like a father type shit like i feel like they don't get the they don't get that that leeway like these that just be like straight piece of shit dads that don't even like acknowledge they have a kid like and it's like like there's baby mamas that be like I wish my smoked out baby daddy would even just say hello to my kid like and you're over here like crying about your kid like you're over here like you know like you just want but it's just because I have sometimes we have little differences me and my baby mom but she's a good mom to my son she takes her to my son she does everything she does for him so I have no like you know she does what she does but it could be worse it could be worse because I know people that don't even like They don't even care that they have a kid.

20:14I don't know how they don't even ever see them with their fucking kid ever, ever. Just dump it on the grandma or something? Yeah, type shit. Going to seafood boils. But then you got the moms that are trying to do what they do. They have their kid. They bring them here and there, and they're doing what they're doing. I respect those women because they're trying to get it in. They got somebody that they know they could depend on to take care of their kid, but they're taking care of business, even though we all f***ing up. we all doing whatever we're doing, but as long as they trying to do whatever they do, like, I respect those women.

20:46Like, I like women like that because, I mean, it's like, damn, like, you sacrificing, like, a lot of shit, but at the same time, we all got to party and all that shit, like, but I don't know. I just feel like me as a dad, being a dad, I feel like I could do more, but I just, I'm in that spot, like, I don't know, sometimes I just be, like, to myself, and I just be like, what the fuck am I doing? Like, what can I do? Like, sometimes I don't know what to do. Like I just be sitting there like damn I don't know what to do like and Even though I get resources and all this shit I just feel like sometimes I don't take advantage of them I just kind of like just box myself from everything, you know You strike me as a really loyal dude like to your Hina and stuff like that But were you always like that or did you used to be a cheater?

21:28Well, I never really been a cheater, but like I'm not gonna lie Like I have a problem with talking to females I feel like, you know, like I've I guess I'm friendly or whatever, you know but I'd rather talk to a female than talk to a dude because I feel like I can't trust a dude like but like for I'd totally rather talk to Jake Sue. No yeah but like see that's the thing like you know like uh I won't mess around with the heina like I won't physically mess around with the heina but I'll talk to her I'll probably say some stupid ass slick shit I'll probably say whatever but I won't really mess I won't even mess around with the heina like but it's obviously my whoever is gonna be with me is not gonna with that you know like because That's like, what the f***, you know?

22:10But that's just you being friendly. That's part of your personality. Because I feel like I'm just friendly. I don't know. I don't know. I be getting in trouble for quote-unquote flirting when I'm like rejecting. You be flirting. I'll be funny with you. Nah, but I feel that. But like, I feel like, damn, bro, being as gangster as you are, I feel like if the worst thing that you're doing is just talking to some chick, like who the f*** cares? It could be worse, right? What the deal, bro? If I was probably in the goon, you know how many cheeks I'd be beating up? Beating up or like beating up? Beating up like with dick.

22:42Oh, yeah. I'm just saying if I were you, I'd feel like I'd be running around the city. I don't like using condoms, so I wouldn't want to be around just anything. You don't wear condoms? I don't wear condoms ever. Why not? I don't like the way it feels. I tried it one time and I'll never do it. Once? Try one time. What? I mean, I don't know if that sounds weird. How old are you? 28. That sounds about right. I'm not going to lie. Once every 10 years or so. yeah if you break it down on average i'm not like i'm not around a gang of heinous though like you're saying like i'm not so the heinous i'm with that's who i'm messing around with like that's what it is but like that's why i don't need to use a condom like that's like why the i need to use a condom on i mean obviously you get pregnant and shit but like there's like plan b's and shit like that i don't know what the heinous do but they got that shit covered you know to me the idea that a pretty girl could have a std is just there's no there's a lot of heinous That's why I can't just f***.

23:37And that's the thing. I don't like using condoms, so I can't just really go f*** wrong with anybody because I'll f*** catch some shit. And then I'm going to explain to mine, oh, I don't know how that happened. I was actually literally about to say you seem like you've never got an STD before, which is like. Where are you getting that from? I got an STD before, bro. Okay, good. How was that? I can't even admit that right now. Wow. Dang, got me. Honestly, it's nothing to be embarrassed about. I mean, everybody has, right? Of course. When you're in high school, it's embarrassing. Because most people have it.

24:06At least everybody has some shit. You get older and it's like, bro. A cold sore is the same shit, bro. I fucked a thousand girls. I'm not going to get an STD. If you break triple digits, you've got STD. Don't you? Well, I haven't had an STD in probably like four years now because. Four years. Damn. Everybody got to get tested. I haven't had a fucking STD since. I was like, that was a long time ago. He does pronos, though. He does corn. Four years. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. You just had it four years ago. That's crazy. I wouldn't even do porn with you. But that's not Connors. That would make it more likely.

24:39It's like getting strep throat. It's not a big deal. You feel it. You get an STD, that's your dick. Yeah, you get a shot in your ass and the shit goes away right away. You're going to take a week on the bench and then you're back in action. That's like a skateboard getting a sprained ankle, bro. It's an occupational hazard. Thank you, Bush. Yeah, it's going to happen, dude. That's if you're being a hood rat. yeah it's gonna happen homies but if you're being righteous and shit it's not gonna happen well you're putting numbers on the board well unless the heina f*** around then obviously I'm saying but that's why like you know too like I don't know that too the heina f*** around and I don't know he's not the one that he didn't contaminate the gene pool it was one of the others yeah it was one of the emos no like the only time I got SCD that wasn't doing was how the f*** does SCD start with the woman in a bottle what do you mean in a vato oh a woman and a man you're thinking freaky nah what this fool's saying a bathtub where the f*** you get that from I didn't say bathtub oh I thought you said a vato a woman and a vato so like where does it come from it's a vato one time my girl had a random ass Mexican artist this fat Mexican broad and like we were doing hella coke and zans or whatever this is like 10 years ago and I ended up just coke and zans with a z like you did a lot of zans multiples I don't know probably just one realistically but like either way I ended up banging the makeup artist and she burnt me.

26:02Nah. Yeah. What'd you get? Like chlamydia or some shit. Oh, yeah. I got chlamydia. I just took the pills. See, you're saying the same thing I'm saying. It's not that big a deal. No, but only one time. Yeah, okay. Me too, I think. Oh, you only caught it once. I think I got gonorrhea a couple times. Oh, yeah. See, you're f***ing. I don't get f***ing. It's regular. Nothing permanent. As long as it's AIDS. Shit. I mean, I don't know. That's just like, that's your dick. Like, f***. You don't care about it? I care about it But at the same time Look at you being a hoe You kind of mess around with one hinder That got herpes and that's for life But you're trying to treat your dick well By having experienced multiple vaginas And doing so sometimes It might bring a little bit of leftovers home I agree and that's where I'm at at this point In my 44 years of wisdom I'm only 28 When I was your age Plowing Plowing through it player I ain't gonna lie But see cause you probably like condoms I hate condoms I'm just a sucio damn what does that mean I'm a dirty ass fool that's true yeah he's a dirty fool the dirtiest real dirty guy damn this conversation got weird this is what they want they want us to like get real involved is this shit live?

27:19I think it's live from members oh fire what's up guys but okay so So at what age did you join the hood? I was like around like 15, 16. But the thing with that was because my pops was from the neighborhood, which started a conflict with my homies and not letting me be around. So your dad was pissed about you? No, people were scared thinking that he was going to kill him when he got out. Oh, so he was locked up at that time. Well, yeah, he was in prison. because he got busted when I was in 97 when he was leaving the hospital. He got busted. They got into like a shootout with the cops or something like that.

28:01Wait, leaving the hospital like after you were born? Yeah. What? He got in a shootout on the way back? No, not leaving. But leaving the hospital? Yeah. With you in the car? Yeah. Oh, my. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Not me in the car. I was still there. I was still at the hospital, but he just came to visit, see me, and bounced. Oh, okay. Still pretty wild beginning to your life. yeah well i mean well i i forgot who that was my mom or my grandma or some shit they told me something crazy that's when i was born if you were in the car then you could rap and be like bro i was in a shootout when i was one day old so hard first shootout first shootout of my first 24 hours is fucking crazy talk about first day out first day out okay but it's kind of sounds like it was a thing that you already knew everybody from the hood at that point like You were already kicking it, but they just didn't want to officially put you on because they were kind of like, didn't know if your pops would react in a negative way.

28:57Yeah, because a lot of people, I don't know, people were scared of my pops for, well, they kind of, I don't know if they still are, but I mean, like, when I was growing up, everybody was like, oh, no, no, like, oh, you're who, son? I'm like, why is this who even here type shit, like, type shit. So that's what was going on. But I was still like, my dumb ass was like hardheaded and like, I don't give a fuck, I'm still going to come around and kick it. Like, still going to be running around and shit. so that shit was already like it was already going into play everything was already happening and then like when my pops was like found out about it when my pops found out he wasn't even tripping on it he was just like when i see you like i'm really gonna get you into the hood type shit but like around right i was gonna beat my eyes whatever he was gonna give you a special put on yeah like type shit you know but but i don't know that's the only awkward things because i don't know if it's because we're from the same neighborhood but like that shit like like me and him were like kicking it and it wasn't like dad and like son it was more like that's the homie like it wasn't ever like i mean i called him dad or whatever but i never i don't know it was like weird like it was in like uh hey dad i don't know i couldn't i feel like i couldn't talk to him about shit like because i'm like this is probably gonna think i'm a weenie if i tell this fool about how i'm thinking about this shit like you know so i didn't want to like voice anything to him i was kind of like just you know like but you kicked it with him more as like a homie and in that context you know like as a father-son relationship it wasn't like it was like more just me and another homie from the hood but i don't know like because that too like what's that too i feel like we bumped heads a few times because of that because you know like i'm over here like like was like was cracking type shit and he's like already like that you know so i felt like it wasn't good either because we were just getting into it like it wasn't really like i feel like we're better off just talking on the phone for a quick second and i said you know because i feel like me and him like being around each other i don't know if it'll even go right but i just feel like y 'all never experienced that so you don't even know what that looks like for real you're neither of y 'all you know i'm saying since you guys haven't done that before so i understand why you would be hesitant but i want to do that though but i would encourage you too you know i'm saying but see that's the thing too like you know like i don't know it's a little difficult for him to like try to talk to right now because certain somebody doesn't let him kind of like talk to me so it's like or doesn't like when they when i talk to him you know so gotcha i've heard the same shit from so many different people like i remember like so many different people that we've interviewed or have been on the pod have said the exact same thing like their their older brother or their pops didn't want them to be from the because the thing is what usually happens if let's say you didn't wind up like being persistent and like the homies rocking with you a lot of times fools wind of being from somewhere else you feel me if you really wanted that back because you will find a hood that will accept you yeah that's the only thing that's scary if you look like you and you about it like that you feel me that's the only other thing that's gonna happen that's the part because i got homies that passed away and i see their kids and it's just like they're already like kind of like wanting to do that type of shit and it's like like do i really want to push them away yeah he gets into another neighborhood like you're in an enemy neighborhood or or should i just like snatch them up and like you know like that's the fuck that's a fucking thing because i got a lot of homies that got kids you know like and it's like like because it's either gonna be you guiding them or some random from some other hood yeah exactly like that's one thing like damn and i feel like that's how neighborhoods end up getting their cousins nephews brothers because like it's like we all gonna be from the same hook we all gonna type shit and it's like up like damn like i mean it's i don't know that shit's because i mean i don't want my son to do what i'm doing but it's like I don't know I don't know how to I don't know how to say it but well it's like you're already so committed to your lifestyle you know you can't you're not really trying to change like nah I want to fucking change I mean I've been well you do want to change yeah I want to change but I mean like obviously like I'm still who I am so it's like I'm not gonna just be like this oh hey goody two shoes type shit like I'm still me but you're not gonna be a victory outreach preacher nah but I mean I don't feel like nothing wrong with religion though like if you believe in God I've tried to do that but I felt like when I was doing that it was more difficult like I felt like when I was going to that path when I got baptized and I was trying to like do that I felt like life was getting more harder like because he was everything I was praying about like asking like for patience and this this and that like not to get mad I felt like shit was getting worse so that type of little situation was a little uh I didn't really so right now I'm just being mean you know like I believe there's something there god or something but i mean i'm not trying to get too deep into the religion even though i have like experiences where like i felt like there was like you know like i i don't know like i felt like there was something i don't know what it was but i mean i felt like jesus god whatever was there with me like guiding me to where i was gonna go and everything was weird but do you think living life as a gangster and being religious are in conflict with each other or nah because i got a gang of homies that that that my homies the one that took me to church when i first got baptized the homie my homie is the one that took me to church she pulled up at the trash behind everything like hey come on we're going to church and i was like all right i told the other homie from the hood you want to go he said hell nah i went and nobody told me nothing like that's the thing like if you like some like chump ass food from your hood and you just all of a sudden i'm gonna be a christian like that's different but like i know just lame ass food like if i wanted to do now we don't tell me you doing church now like what the like bro i'm just if i'm just trying to see what works for me because i'm trying to get better like i got a son bro like i'm trying to figure shit out i don't really live a lot of shit in the streets so i'm i'm trying to figure shit i don't know how to get a job i don't do shit so yeah like if you're gonna be a christian you gotta do it when you're on good terms with your hood and whatnot because that's the thing if you're doing it on bad terms like you're getting like you're mr criminal yeah which shout out to him i don't know the exact details or whatever okay maybe but like but he got like exposed and then coincidentally he's a christian like right after and his contents all of it be a christian and that just feels like ah that's that's not gonna work people are not gonna show you love good timing though yeah really good timing but And then at the same time, the Christian audience, the whole thing is about forgiveness and understanding.

35:18So it's like the Christian audience, even if everybody else writes you off, it's kind of like they're the ones who are going to hold you down. Christians love a good redemption arc. Yeah. More than anybody. But I feel like that's why those people that do that and then like when everything they feel like everything's in their current, they could just go back to doing what they used to do. Like, I feel like they get punished more by God because the shit they're just trying to do to hide away for a little bit. And then they come back out of nowhere. Like, a lot of people do that. I've been in prison with fools.

35:48They're f***ing people on the yard and they're Christian. All of a sudden they're gone. And all of a sudden they're back to gangbanging. Like, so. But I feel like those are dudes that get punished more by whatever's the higher up or whatever the f*** it is. God, whatever. I don't know. Not to disrespect it or anything, but yeah. I feel like with Krip Mac, he seems like he has a hard time resolving. Like, he can't imagine himself as a Christian because his whole ethos is about destruction. Well, and on top of that, like, his higher power is essentially the hood. Yeah. 55th Street is, you know what I'm saying, his alpha and omega.

36:22Yeah. Do you feel like that, though? Like, do you feel like God is bigger than the hood, or like, what comes first? Well, God has come before everything. Like, if you're thinking like that, like, you're a child, bro. Like, you're a juvenile as fuck, thinking the hood's before. What the f***? You're tripping. But if you don't believe in God. Maybe when you were young. Maybe when you was young, yeah. But what the f***? Like, my son comes before the hood. What the f*** you talking about? Like, you're tripping. I don't know. Things like that. It's crazy. I actually don't know what Kermak would say if you asked him.

36:50What comes first, your kid or your hood? I mean. He talks about the hood a lot more. I would say that he would. I would hope that he would say Kalani comes first. but I would hope at this point. Yeah, I don't know. You have to ask him. Who would be interested in here and pontificate on that? Not for real though. For sure. Okay, so you get put on at that age and then like how's your life changed? Like what kind of shit are you doing? I was already doing drugs though. Oh, you were doing heroin, right? Yeah, I was doing heroin. What age was that and like how long did you do that for before you got off it?

37:25Was I, I think it was like 18 or I, no, 17, 18 around there I did heroin. who got you into that uh my celly i was gonna say for sure was it like yeah i was 18 i'm assuming you were in ya or something like that i was in ironwood i was in ironwood okay and uh the yard went down there was something cracking on outside and we was in a sea yard i was in five block in the wild p the youth offender program and because i was under the age of 25 when i caught my crime so uh we the yard went down everybody's sitting down and my celly's right there you know doing his little thing and then uh yeah he just was like he's like hey if we want to just you want to try this shit and I was just like nah I'm straight I'm good I'm good you know like food food come on the yard's down just real quick and I tried it and I remember I I did it I stood up when the yard said yard resume I stood up because right there in Ironwood like they do a removal that'll just resume the yard after so I remember my yard resume so I stood up and I remember looking towards the tear and everything was like just like i was like waving i was like what the did you do like a hot rail or what nah slammed yeah you slammed your first time no i was i was kind of already doing that okay okay you were taking opiates already and so but you had not opiates i was doing like uh like uppers and shit yeah yeah okay okay so but when you went slamming it that's a whole i'm not gonna lie bro i've never slammed everyone thinks i'm like the supreme drug user i've never i can't even really say what it feels like but i've seen what it does like to go slam heroin and come yeah yeah i'll report my findings later but um what are you even here for yeah exactly no yeah what was like the difference in slamming like as far as like it's a rush it's a rush it's a i don't know how to explain it but it's just like a whole different feeling because it's though because you try to chase the same rush you get from the first every time you do it and it doesn't but if you get a rush obviously but it's not the same but i don't know why yeah that shit's a i don't recommend nobody ever around with the needles that shit ruins life and shit how long were you doing that for uh for a while i was in there for a real long time but when you got out did you just start you just kept it going or was yeah okay kept going on and off on and off yeah how'd you get off it assuming you got off it well when i got off it i just was like well i'm gonna well yeah i'm gonna start living type shit you have like a year sober now right like no not a year okay yeah oh okay well congrats on that man that's fine yeah congrats on your sobriety bro that's dope yeah but um to keep it drank and dank you feel me yeah that's what i mean yeah so i'm trying to stick to just drinking and leave and that vape shit kind of helps me but yeah i don't know is it a little tough sometimes like to not do it uh yeah i mean it's i mean i feel like every addict is tough like to being around it a lot or you know i feel like it's tough you know yeah it's kind of tough being around it you know or if you're around people that do it it's a little tough to do it i mean it's tough to not do it i feel yeah i mean i'm addicted to things that are way less addictive than that so i feel you yeah for sure ice cream even backwards it's like you know i can't even imagine something like heroin how much that must have a grip on you well yeah you never did no shit like that just coke and that's it see slamming coke was crazy that i have not done yeah that's that's all bad you don't want to do that you're awful ruin your fucking makes you horny as uh that should ruin your life yeah i'm gonna stay away from that yeah i did meth like one time that was way too much you would be like You did meth?

41:14Yeah. You smoked it? Nah, I snorted it and ate it. Oh, yeah. You were f***ing high. This girl. Yeah, I was f***ing for like 24 hours. Damn. Yeah, it was all right. At a certain point, you're in the guts. You're like, damn, I've been smacking me. For like four hours. For like several hours. Yeah, like four hours. I had something to do. So my homie, I was supposed to announce this contest. And my homie knocked on the door at like nine in the morning. And I was like, give me a minute. I'm gonna just sleep for a little bit he's like you can't sleep bro like we gotta go and I'm like wait I haven't gone to sleep yet like it was very it was so foreign like time yeah time didn't make sense to me I just been I'd been all night I had no idea but villain origin story yeah but that was the only time I did it after that I got I got like the worst depression coming back to life yeah oh I felt so horrible for like 24 hours after and then you're like you're looking at your dick and it's just like beating the shreds.

42:09Yeah, I just didn't do it again after that. It was a one and done. Damn fate.

42:17That's how I know that you don't have like a drug addict addictive type personality. Because a lot of people would do that and be like, where it's at? Yeah, I already did. I want some more right now. Metro Boomin wants some more. People have been warning me not to do meth like my whole life. Yeah. So then I finally did it. Didn't really realize. Nobody warned me about meth. They didn't? No. Why? I don't know. Nobody said. don't do crystal meth like nobody said that it seems like it was kind of encouraged like a lot of not encouraged but i mean like that was like everybody was kicking in doing shit like that so i mean that's the thing like you guys probably look at it like oh that's but it's like everybody grows up different so it's like yeah but i look at you doing like we paying whatever the for a horseback right like what the fuck you tripping like you smoked out for that and then i'm like are you sure you never did that yeah like high school that's what i'm saying so it's like yeah everybody lives different so everybody has a little different point of view or whatever the you call it like experiences experiences and shit some people may think that's weird some people might think it's not everybody has their own little cup of tea so and that's why it's weird when you're talking to an older person who's in their like 50s or whatever 60s and like you realize that like oh they smoke crack for mad long but they didn't even really like think it was bad when they got into it because they didn't know there wasn't that much information out there Whereas if you smoke crack now, you're burnt out.

43:33You know exactly what the fuck you're doing. But for an older crowd, when everybody was doing coke in the 80s and doing crack and everything. I feel like that's why when drug acts, when they finally go to rehab and they do all that shit, and then they feel how they feel after the outfit, and then they go back to it, they're really not getting high and enjoying it, but they want to get high. But the high, they can't even enjoy it because they're constantly thinking, I'm like, I had all this, I was doing this, and I'm throwing it away for this shit. And I'm over here just high as f***ing thinking about why the f*** did I do this?

44:04Because that's how I feel. When I relapse, I feel like I don't even enjoy it because I'm over here just thinking, like, f***ing, why the f*** did I even do that, bro? And if you see those older people. I don't even like this feeling anymore. This feeling just makes me think of everything I'm f***ing doing wrong. So, I don't know, that's just a crazy-ass... But it's like when you're around it, you want to do it. So it's like, it's a f*** up. I don't know, it's like, it's crazy. I always feel like I got lucky in that I hate the come down so much. Or even like with drinking, like I hate the hangover.

44:36I never had that. You never had a hangover. I drink, I'll drink like four of these and then I'll wake up and I'll be just. Yeah. Chewy-wee. If I do that, I'm going to be in the hospital the next day. Like I'm not, I'm just like going to be so miserable. I drink this shit straight too. I don't do no chaser. That's for high notes. Whoever, if you drink and you use a chaser, use a straight. You know what? I don't got time for the chaser to be walking around with a bottle of her. He's a man. He's a grown ass. I'll show you some alcoholism. Check this out, fool. Oh, here we go. This is an alcoholic.

45:09Oh, yeah. Like I said, that's an alcoholic. Hey, yo. Right there, buddy. You probably got like eight more on there. That's right. Light work. Now, one thing I noticed about you and I find very interesting is I like the way you keep the old school Chicano dialect alive. What do you mean? You say Simone, you say Vato, you say Holmes. You know what I'm saying? I saw one of the other gentlemen from your neck of the woods, I believe Lil Praise, you feel me? He had a viral clip where he was talking about we don't use the N-word over here. We're a traditional vario. We don't be trying to use a lot of the slang that we see.

45:53Yeah, but it's nothing against the blacks. I know people talk like that. I mean, it's just, we just, I mean, I'm not going to say all the, all my homies from the neighborhood, but I like a lot of my homies from the neighborhood. We don't talk like that. Right. I'm saying like, and it's just, I don't know. Like, I, I, I mean, I mess around off around and be like, say, like, but just mess around though. But like for me to actually be talking to you and be like, Hey, you know, like this isn't. So you don't use the N word like that. Yeah. No. And do you think it's a, what do you think about like how popular it is for like Mexicans in LA?

Read the full transcript

46:26I don't understand why it's so popular. Like, sometimes it annoys me because, like, I hear people saying it, and I start saying it sometimes. Like, I'll just mess around. And I feel like I mess around, but I say it, like, more than messing around. Like, I'm just saying it now. Like, I hate that because I'm like, damn, why is everybody talking like that? Like, I don't remember, like, because I was in jail 18, 19, 20, 21. So, like, all that time, like, nobody was – you weren't allowed to talk like that. Like, there wasn't homies talking like that. Yeah, there was the homies from the SS that would talk like that, like Compton, South Central.

46:55but like me my thing was like why am i gonna talk like that and build that the habit and then land somewhere where like an individual's there and i say it and then i'm getting my ass demolished in the cell i'm cool because they always i remember when i was in jail homies would be like hey homes like wake up every day at six in the morning for 21 days straight and and it becomes like a habit it's not more like you're just doing it to just wake up like you're just a habit like the routine and all that yeah like your routine like waking up at four in the morning every day boom folding everything like it becomes once you just keep trying to always try to do it for 21 days straight after 21 days it's scientifically proven that you will tell me oh this is jail homies talking og homies telling me it's scientifically proven that you it becomes a habit so you just automatically do when you wake up you automatically wake up at a certain time of day and you fold and do this and you know so it's like it comes a routine so it's like i'm old enough is the word i think i don't I don't think I have to work out if I don't want to anymore.

47:52I mean, but I had older homies. I had homies that were like 70 from my body that were still working out, doing like 1 ,300 burpees and shit. Still working out. 1 ,300 burpees a day. If you tasked me with doing 100, it's going to be the end of my life. Mommy has a hernia this big, like literally. Mommy? And it was me and three other homies from my same neighborhood in the same cell probably a year ago. and he would be, he's like almost 80 and he had a big hernia and he'd be working out right there with all of us right there just working out. Like just doing his thing like a thousand burpees like nothing.

48:27Like going through the whole stuff. So I'd be like, they would always tell the homies like if you're 18 and you don't know how to work out like there's no excuse. The homie's like almost 80 years old and he has a hernia and he still work, he just would, he would get a wrap and he would wrap around himself real tight and then he would just do his burpees. That's crazy. I want to send this city hospital get rid of this damn hernia yeah for real in county jail they don't bro in county jail in LA county jail especially is nothing but older Filipino people right you can have a broken arm and they be like drink water you'll be better you talking about the nurses I swear bro like they don't give a f*** about you there was this one lady I remember she was a light skinned black older female with like short red hair and she was the one that would like you know flirt with that she ended up getting fired but she was one that would like really look out for us like i'll be like damn she's working on this floor yeah i'm on the 2004 she's working on this floor she's gonna give me tylenose if i have a headache whatever you know so because if you try to ask for a ton of you gotta put in a medical sheet like bro give me a tylenose i got a headache i got a medical sheet you're not gonna see me for a month bro like what the yeah so it's like she was cool so like all the you know like it was being in jail like having to deal with that shit like and they got rid of the one cool lady that sucks yeah bro because she was doing extras she was she was actually jerked off some of the homies i don't know what the she did sounds like she did some shit she ended up getting fired but man when i was in jail and i remember her oh she was working on this floor hell yeah luckily i can get titanols benadryls whenever i can't sleep like another little filipino asians they wouldn't give a You could have a broken, you could have a stab wound, and they're just going to be like, oh, drink water.

50:15Like, what? You got to be tripping, bro. For real. The standards of health. That shit, that's why it's like, f*** up when you're in jail. You're not going to get medical attention like you want. That's why San Bernardino County, when I went to there, I was like, damn, you guys got a lovely over here. They did my teeth. They f***ing. They did all type of shit for me. I was like, fuck no. LA County doesn't have the budget to accommodate everybody. There's too many. Because it's just like, bro, it's so packed and it's like, right. It's dirty as in a row. Like living in there is dirty as like, there's, it's just dirty, bro.

50:47It's nasty. You were in super max or what? I've been at super max too, but I was mostly in, I was slammed down in 1750 for like a good, like two years and a half. Well, like almost three years already. I've been slammed down back there. So like, that was like, like there was no really trash cans like that. So like they would barely bring the trustees to pass by, but sometimes the trust would act stupid so we would spear him like what a make a spear you know so any known rappers or anybody like that that you ran into um yeah Soulja Boy but he was on the he was on the PC side though so like we didn't really we just heard of yeah 100 % we all remember when Draco lived the ruler Draco was right there I was with him in 22-25 not in the same spot but we was in 31 he was in 31 with us but he was in that dude Soulja was in 33 that's his PC side of high power he was in the front I remember because we'd go out to showers I remember the hoodubs were like oh yeah he's right there in cell 3 because it's 1 and 2 is the showers and 3300 and then it's 3 and then it's the cells down you know I would have told him to kiss me through the phone nah he would just be rapping loud as but nobody would talk to him because we were trying to tell him like hey bro like you could find a paper to come back and he was like nah you guys are going to try to get me so he never went back I mean, I'm going to be real.

52:06I give a soldier boy more grace than the average person just because he is famous. And. But yeah, but like the thing is, when you're in high power, bro, like you in a woman sale, like you by yourself, like there's really nothing. What are you really worried about? And you're going to be. And if you do come out of your cell, you're usually with four blacks and four Mexicans. So it's like you're really scared of like that many people. Yeah. Like, bro. And it's like they're right there literally with the. they with the big Bertha, they with the bombs. You're not going to get stabbed that many times.

52:37So it's like that many times. You hear this guy? He has a very different standard of our life. Yeah. Horseback riding, totally out of the picture, but you're only going to get stabbed a couple of times. Just a couple. You'll be all right. Three times max. And right now he's looking at us like, what the fuck is wrong with these white boys? What's wrong with these pussies? I'm just saying. I don't expect that. I mean, yeah, that's how it is. like because back there is that's how it is like so i mean that's why it'll be up like when you go back there for a violation it's like you k you're already k-19 so you stuck back there like me i was hostile ho so i was ho so my shit i was always stuck back there for fighting with the cops so they was keeping me back there and then i was already doing shit back there too like so like they already knew you know that's why i was back there for so long because usually you're only there for like three months but like if you keep up back there like you know you just gonna you start like doing all types of shit like yeah because i i set people on fire but i set my neighbor on fire literally well okay why did you do that yeah because i threw shit at me oh yeah he gassed me he was he was a pc he threw gas he threw shit at me it was like 3500 3500 fish row was he holding it with his hand or was he like did he have it landed on my back when i was birdbatching oh shit yeah because right there it's like bars you know so you have bars and then it's It's a little thin wall like this, and then it's the neighbor.

53:59But 3 ,500 is fish row, so pretty much fish row, they got to wait until, like, the, what do you call it, OSJ sees you. They interview you, make sure, like, where you're going to go. You're going to go 33 with the PCs or 1750, whatever row is PC at the time because it changes all the time. And then it's either you're going to go 31 with the active or you're going to go 17 able row, whatever, Charlie row, Denver row, whatever. And why did he throw shit at you? Yeah. Because he was like, he asked me where I was from. And I told him, I was like, because back there, you know, like I told him, I was like, I'm active.

54:33So then you from Bassett. And he was like, you active? I'm like, yeah. He's like, all right. And I'm birdbathing because I just finished cleaning my cell. You know, I just get in my cell. I'm trying to clean it because it's all dirty. You know, whoever was living there, don't give a fuck. So I'm cleaning everything off. And I'm just finished. I'm about to finish cleaning. So I'm about to birdbath, you know. And he was trying to like hot at me. but I was like, hey, homies, let me do what I got to do. And I'll holler at you right now, you know? But I already knew 3 ,500 was mixed. So it's like, you don't know who's back there yet.

54:59There's some J-Cats there type shit? Yeah, well, because, you know, they got the 2-5ers and all that other PC gangs and shit back there. And then you got fools that are acting like they're active, but they're not. So because, you know, they're trying to do whatever. But it's just, yeah. But, yeah, being back there, well, anyways, what was I getting to right now? The reason why he did that. Oh, yeah, so he was like, oh, you active? I'm like, yeah, Simone. He's like, all right. He's like, yeah, I'm active. He told me his daughter, his name, whatever. I was like, all right, feed me. So I'm right here birdbatching.

55:28Y 'all are not ops. Huh? You guys are not enemies. Even if we're enemies, we're in County J. Right, right, right. You know, that doesn't matter. Right, right, right. But, you know, so like I'm right there birdbatching, and then like, boom, I feel like some hot-ass shit on my back. Like, what the fuck? Like, and he's like, fuck you, fuck you. You know, this is whatever. And I'm like, oh, hell no. Right away, I smell it. so I'm like bro like what the like so I have to you know do my thing get cleaned up now I'm like saw my head I'm like bro what I can't do but I remember the homie down like two south down he was active and I remember him because he was in the he was in the floor I was at so he was like he was making matches out of like you get the toilet paper the little uh the little cone thing you put a toilet paper the toilet paper in it and you make you you light the the lighter he lighter but it had no gas but it would light the little flick you know so you keep shaking it when it would light and once it would everything the little toilet paper get ready you just shake it up in the little in the little toilet paper shit and it'll engulf into a flame so you would get like baby oil or and um and like grease like hair grease make little sock balls make little fire balls and shit so you get that shit on fire you put those shits on fire you're gonna have to pick it up with your hands it's gonna burn your hand your hands gonna be like red the next day pick that shit up and before make sure you get their curtain baby all that shit and you throw that shit in there and when they're sleeping that shit's gonna be just lighting up in flames and they don't do walks for like you just wait for them to do the walk trap them in a chamber of fire it's so fucking crazy I mean dude I throw shit at me I can't do that I can't do that I don't blame you that's a PC type of thing we can't do that type of shit I can't throw shit at you that's just like straight gangsters in general that's like a Sereno thing like you just you don't do that kind of shit yeah you can't do that type of shit that's like bro like you sick as if you grabbing your own shit and throwing it at you like yeah something's wrong with you no yeah for sure that's burnt out that's for like jcats and shit like we don't do that shit like if you're playing with your own feces that's weird yeah but so you successfully lit the whole room on fire yeah I lit the hole his whole shit his bed he hopped he fell off his bed rolled off fell boom cause the only thing that's dark is back there.

57:42They leave that shit dark so you can see the shadow from the nightlight in the cell so you can see what's going on in the cell so you just see it flaming up like it's just hot. Flaming up. The Rage Against the Machine album. Exactly. Yeah, but see the cool thing is that he didn't he didn't tell me at first but then they checked the cameras and they see me throwing the fireballs in the cell. So that's how they took me to the hole. But when first they took him to the hole because they thought he was just trying to light fires and shit like be a J-Cat. So that's why they checked the cameras though and then when they checked the cameras pretty much they're like they came and they're like hey bro we're taking you i'm like for what like for setting your neighbor on fire i was like so i had to go to 1750 g row which is the hole right there in high power so i was back there and then right there that shit suck because like you're just it's just because like you're in a box but it's like when you have bars at least you could talk to your neighbor like you're in a box box so it's more isolated you know you're more isolated and then nobody really comes by and it's like you don't get store so it's like and then when you get like the juke balls like you're eating like nothing like homes like just a like just blob of shit like you're eating it yeah that's essentially like worse nutritional value than yeah because they are and by law they're supposed to only feed you twice so what they do is they get your breakfast and they just pretty much like smush it into a ball type shit and feed it to you like type shit like here you know how long were you in the hole well i've been in the hole back to back like gang of times i'll be months and months back there like i'll be three months straight get out the hole probably be in the main line for like three weeks go back to the hole again like but did you ever see this dude and see what he looked like after that well see that's the thing sometimes you don't really get to see him sometimes you do i gotta see that dude because he passed by when they have to cuff him up take him out because they can't go in the cell because you're K-10 high power or the fuck so they can't go in the cell until you're cuffed up or unless they phantom you did you leave him looking like Deadpool or what nah he wasn't really that he wasn't cause he was throwing water from his toilet and doing all that shit cause they just shut off his water they shut off his water cause he was trying to flood the tears so he only had his toilet bowl water so that's all he could throw for the fire I know jail's a different world but like I probably just like really would try to avoid with you yeah well don't why would you want to f*** me?

59:59I don't mean f*** with you. I'd just be chilling. That's what I'm saying. That's why I say from the start, bro, I'm cool with everybody, but when you f*** me, that's a whole different story. Don't f*** with me. I don't f*** with you. Nah, I won't burn you, but I just want to be cool with you, bro. I'm sure you got simpler methods outside, yeah. Dude, he redefined the term Hot Wheeler. Hot Wheeler? There you go. this just came in for you check it out here you go information hot wheeler

1:00:38no cap no cap hey hot off the presses hey speaking of hot off the presses let's just get right to it man there's been um successful rappers from the suv you know from other communities like that don't necessarily get along with yours such as like you know rowdy racks for example and all that well you know he's from plenty what's your relationship like with the rowdy rex what the uh free him bro free him hopefully he comes home bro free rowdy for sure for sure what's your history with him have you ever hung out all the time oh they're ops but we hang out all the time though on the low bro nobody knows about it but we've been hanging out i heard this type of shit before okay what do you mean what do you guys do on the low when you hang out.

1:01:21Strip club. Bar. Bar hopping together. Wait, what? Bar hopping. Even the officer bar hopping? What you mean? He's trolling you. I was just wondering. I'm not trolling. We go to Starbucks in the morning sometimes. Starbucks? Caramel frappuccino likes with extra caramel. Is there a Starbucks in Bassett? Nah, you gotta go back to Ballpark. Wait, is there a Starbucks in the hood? Now. There is? now there's not that's my bae right there yeah there isn't a starbucks in the hood damn yeah bone park okay so since clearly you don't want to discuss the rowdy thing what about um what about lefty since you brought up baldwin park you know what i'm saying like are you and lefty get along it's whatever it's cool So you don't like any of these guys?

1:02:16No, I don't know. It's like, I don't, I mean, I don't know. Like, they're doing whatever they're doing. That's cool. Handles, like, you're doing your thing. It's not an active B-frame thing, but. Bro, if I see, come on, like, I'm just, I'm chilling, bro. But, like, come on, like, that's like stuff everybody already knows. Like, I don't even got to speak on that type shit. So what was your thoughts, though, when you started seeing these guys get successful? was it like alright they was doing that before I even thought about doing this shit they was doing this long they was doing that shit I think way before I even thought about even thinking about doing this this type shit was gang shit your first viral video gang shit was my viral video yeah yeah yeah okay cause when you know Rock's my friend you feel me that's my partner yeah you feel me he's been my partner for a long time so when I first when Rock first showed me gang shit I was like oh okay yeah he was kind of fire I'm not gonna lie yeah because that that song right there I wrote that shit cause when I listened to Gang Wars from TZ that's the reason why I wrote that shit when I was in jail cause I remember I was always thinking about like man I was gang sliding to this shit listening to Gang Wars like that was my shit to go sliding to so shooting a fucking Skonte and getting ready to so I I was thinking like damn like this bro this was from Compton like like this was from Compton and I'm over here in Bassett listening to this shit shit like drilling shit like what the i want fools to be bumping my shit like like you know like from everybody's doing that type of shit you know and i remember when i was in jail i was always thinking about like man what's something like gang wars and i was like gang shit we with that gang shit bitch slide it not nice bitch daily it's that gang basic gang bitch yeah we with that gang shit slide it not bitch daily it's that gang like that shit right there was just like man what the like motherfuckers gonna want to get jiggy with this shit you know like this type of shit i want but obviously now like i don't i mean i feel like i influence a lot of youngsters but like like i i'm trying to like change my music as sometimes but sometimes i feel this type of way and i just be you know saying shit on on the mic but just because like you don't want it to be all i don't want i don't want kids i don't want to like come on bro like there's kids that don't really live in this type of shit, but they just attracted to it and they want to be part of it.

1:04:41And then when it gets real, they're not really ready for that because they wasn't really raised like that. Like, bro, there's people with their dads and moms. And I always try to tell kids, like every time I see kids like doing that, I'm like, bro, like, think about what you have right now, right? Like, look at me for a prime example. It's f***ed up. We got to look at me as an example. I don't really got my family around. I don't really got shit. Like, I'm over here, like out here, like in the hood type shit. like bro like you could do better like i feel like you could do better but if you really want to do this we could do that but like there's way much better and i wouldn't be a real homie if i wouldn't tell my homies or anybody that like because if i see that they're going that path like i gotta speak it into them because it's like mother speak that shit into me because everybody was just doing their own thing so now my thing is like like my son like when i tell him stuff i tell him stuff but nobody my dad didn't tell me i didn't get to hear that i wish i heard so that's what I'm trying to do like with my little homies like they like my family like want my little homies from my hood they like my family my little brothers and shit I got love for them so like no I respect that I respect that so like I make sure I try to tell them before they do this but then at the same time like I'm still gonna have them to the fullest like whatever they wanna do like they wanna gangbang alright cool you wanna go to college let's do that like I'm gonna support you regardless even if you're already from the hood and you haven't really been gangbanging up but you wanna just go to college all of a sudden handles homie like so you wouldn't do a song with the op though still despite like growing and wanting to transcend this shit?

1:06:05Would you? I couldn't do that because it's just too much bad blood. Like I wouldn't, I mean, you know, like it's a lot of, you know, I don't know, that's just like a little different. That's just like, that's not even, I don't know. I would have to like talk to people, you know, I don't know. Yeah, I mean like the real relationship is more important than making music together. So, I mean like maybe that would be the thing that would have to happen first It's like you get on good terms with somebody or shit like that. That would be like a full on like we would just be get along gang type shit. And it's like you really think about it, that would never happen.

1:06:43Like everywhere. Like it's not going to happen in stuff because it's like, damn, like if you really think about it, like me now that I have a son, I really think about it like, damn, bro, like they're really killing somebody's son. And like the dad's like waiting for his son to come home and he's not going to come home. or like they got a dad they got a son they got kids so I think about that shit now and it's like bro like

1:07:09yeah I mean when they came out people probably forgot but like Lefty and Rowdy were like talking hella shit about it well they're not even really talking shit but acknowledging they were ops and then they to be fair got over it pretty quick yeah yeah yeah their hoods ain't even ops that's a personal they were talking like they were no they were personal well yeah that was a more personal personal thing that was like girls and shit yeah i think it was like personal shit like that's like bro there's homies that passed away like you know doing time for this shit for sure like that's like a slap in the face like what you guys been doing this whole time well especially when it's like generational beef because like like the a lot of those hoods that we're talking about as far as like you know the rappers and the sgv and stuff like y 'all folks been beefing since before we was born goes back to the 70s and shit 60s and shit so it is understandable in that regard but like is it kind of a conflict in your head sometimes does that got kind of present like confusion because it's like you're trying so hard to transcend and do better but you also have this ideology and this culture that's like deeply embedded in your soul is that ever at odds what do you mean like like what do you mean like well like okay a part of you wants to like transcend the gang beefs and all that shit and a part of you is like yeah i want to do that but i'm not gonna turn my back on who i am in my whole entire history i mean bro that's just like it's it's a tough it's a tough thing because it's like i would think about it like if i was passed away if i was doing life and all of a sudden like one of my homies is all of a sudden like hey we all cool let's do a song like you know you did life you're doing life for killing his homie but It's cool.

1:08:46Like, we good now. Like, that's kind of slapping the face. You know, like, I'm over here doing live for the Vardal, like, and you're going to just slap me in the face and do a song. That's what I look at. I'm not looking at, like, the, you know, like, obviously, yeah, like, whatever, bro, if it's business, we cross paths. Like, you know, you could be business, I could be business, or we could get a crack in. It's however you want to do it. But I just feel like I'm not going to do a song with them just to, like, slap my homies in the face. like that's how i got homies that are buried right now like that i never even knew but older homies that they know you know like so nah that's all like what do you think about the fact that okay you're becoming popular as a rapper and stuff like that but then a lot of like other people that you would never necessarily beef with in the like in the streets you might be like beefing as a rapper with and they try to what do you think about like that well i mean that type of shit like i don't know i i i don't know if you call it beef with other rappers i had but like like there's just a bunch of kids that they just like i don't know they're just they act a certain way and it's like bro like when you go to prison you're not gonna act like that like all that this you're like why you continue to like me i don't know like it's just a lot of stuff that especially like i wouldn't tolerate my little homies doing so it's like where your old homies at but i don't think you really from your set because like your homie's not even like you acting like that like what the like it kind of just shows that fools might not be as tapping as i think they are i mean a lot of these fools are young too though so it's like i don't blame it because they're young they haven't haven't got to be 18 someone aren't 18 yet so it's like someone hasn't been a jill yet so it's like uh but that's the thing too like bro like how you not in jail yet i mean not necessarily like oh you gotta go to jail but it's like like if you like already like over 25 and you still in the jail it's like what the like i don't know like maybe they're really really good at crime like they get away with it i mean i could get away too but it's like fuck almost like you only can get away with so much and it's like are you really that even that active that's probably why you don't i mean i don't know i don't know are you one of those dudes that was like psyched you were happy when you went to jail when you were a kid for the first time.

1:11:00When I was younger, yeah, that's the part because I was. I used to be like, hell yeah, I'm going to see the homies. Oh, Wu-Tu's busted on a violation right now, Wu's over there. Oh yeah, I'm about to pull up on him. I'm going to see the homie I haven't seen. But then when you got there, was it whack as f***ing? You were like, it was all right. I didn't even think about nothing that was going on in the streets. I was like, I'm here, I'm going to go to Coraline, I'm going to catch Faye with the enemy, Wu-Wu, I'm going to do this, I'm gonna come back make a spread I'm gonna chill call a couple high-na's get a little package like it's like camp yeah sleep away camp with shitty food and you gotta fly people but like it's the only fucked part cause you ain't got no high-na but it's like damn like that's the only fucked part but it's like shit you right there just thugging it like I mean that's just how it is like you just I mean there was people that was stressed on shit but it's like those are people like probably barely going to jail or like a lot of people I feel like the people that got shit to lose are the ones that suffer in jail.

1:11:52I didn't have shit to lose. I didn't have nothing. So when I go to jail, I feel like I'm doing better when I'm in here. I'm hustling, doing this. I'm doing that. Like, I'm talking to these people. Like, I don't got to worry about shit. I'm over here like, damn. Like, when I'm out there, I'm over here thugging it. Like, really thugging it. Like, trying to figure out where the fuck I'm going to go, what I'm going to do. Like, you know? So it's like, like I said, I never had a job, so I didn't know how to fucking get out and go apply for a fucking job. I have face tattoos and shit. I just thought I never had a chance, but obviously there's resources, though, but I just never took advantage of them.

1:12:23They can't really see it because they're seeing your left cheek, but at your right cheek, you dedicated that whole thing to like a giant BG. What made you decide to do that? Did you have like little tattoos? Because I wanted to come out of my cell. What do you mean? Yeah, because, okay, so when I was in West Valley and I was in the black, it was a high power in West Valley, right, in San Bernardino. so the homie uh the homie that had it right there i knew how to pop my cell like i knew how to get out of my cell because i would put the coffee bag into the between the door and the lock so when the door would close i would slide it back just a little bit on the coffee bag but with the coffee bag seal so the seal part would be hanging out the outside because the the little metal part when you push something through like it would it would push up so it has to be something on that side can be you know so what i would do is when i'll close it the hoodas will come do the walk because we're on high power so we can't come out with the other side so when they would come to the walk they would shake the door but it was already locked because the bag's on there but i haven't pulled it and pushed the door to unlock it so it shows that it's open because there's something blocking the sensor but it's it's the cops but it's already secure yeah so the cop would leave so if i wanted to go pop out with the homies on the next tier i would do that but on the low so I get on the phone with a Heine.

1:13:39You know, because, bro, like, I was lying to Heine. I was like, oh, yeah, I'm right. I only get the phone for this many times, but I would sneak out next year and call other Heine type shit. You love talking to some bitches. Play your play. Well, yeah, because, bro, not that, but it's like, bro, like, you be needing shit in jail. You need people to hold your money. You need people to do this. Like, bro, you need a lot of shit. Like, you need people to get trust. So it's like, sometimes you're going to have to do all that type of shit. Like, it's fucked up because you're playing with females' emotions and shit.

1:14:05I wouldn't want nobody to play my daughter's emotions like that if I had a daughter, you're going to get murked. But wait, so you got the face tattoo to get out of your cell? Oh, yeah, that's why. Yeah, because that's why I want. So the homie's like, hey, the other homies were hating on me because I kept popping out and going on tears, and they couldn't do it because I'm not going to tell them how to do it. Like, what the fuck? It's my shit. So, like, the homie that had it was like, hey, almost like people are complaining about it. And I'm like, people only come. He's like, look, if you stay out, you're going to get tatted by the homie then.

1:14:32I was like, you got to get your whole face. I was like, all right, what the fuck? Shit. it why not the fuck i already got the b on this side like i won't get a big ass bg i wanted to get the hood spout out but i didn't get it like that i just got the bg because it looked bigger so i was like man so he just got a little crayon i mean uh uh the little uh color pencils of water and he just started drawing the little thing and i looked at it in the mirror i was like do it i mean for getting it in jail it looked pretty good yeah well they i had to redo it over like i had to touch it up again so it was more like the day i wrote my first song ever getting out of jail like before i this is the time when i barely even thought i was gonna start rapping i got out and i was like i was writing poems a lot since young so when i turned it into rap i got out i heard my cousin's little praise was rapping that's your cousin yes my cousin so i heard he was rapping and and i was like oh shit like oh here this is what i did and i remember i got out and I was FaceTiming him, I was beating on my chest, rapping a song called Gunplay, which is one of my songs.

1:15:36And when I first song, I actually rapped. And he was like, fool, that shit's hard. We need to get you in the studio. But we just ended up going to his pad and had a little interface, little thing, like it was a little mic. It was no soundproof. It was in his room. And we did it and I did my first song. Yeah, and then, yeah, type shit. with this one did the like ink fall out the ink from the one on your left cheek oh no i got it i was getting removed because um the person that did it uh it was came out crooked so it was a boston b but it's like kind of like tilted so i was like man i'm gonna just get this shit removed but i'm already getting this one so i was gonna get this removed and i was gonna i low-key was gonna do my whole side of my face like an owl but i changed my mind did you go to homeboy industries and tell them that you're getting out the gang life no no no you don't have to do all that you getting out the gang life but i guess her move they do tattoo removal yeah they do for free yeah you go you could go and get it for free oh damn all right good it's actually shout out to them you feel me that's my boy anthony with homeboy industries i see him at the farmer's market selling bread like every weekend my kid is hyped to see him every weekend that's right yeah my homie david's over there's a gang of homies over there that homeboys that help me out with a lot of shit so at what point did you realize all right like i could actually rap and the homies are with it when i wrote when i did gunplay so that but like so that was like literally because because was gang shit i know that was the first time you went viral but gunplay was like not that long before that huh like it was like a little before that i was my first song a year before maybe like no like months i think months yeah but it's because i did a video to gang shit i didn't do a video to gunplay everybody was telling me to do a video to gunplay to get more attention on it but i didn't i just did it on gang shit but all those songs i wrote in jail like i was in the hole i was in the hole for like nine months straight because i kept going at it with the hoodas and shit and uh that's how i got my big ass scar on my back we can't see really no more because i got the hood tatted but uh that's how i got my big ass burn mark because they threw a bomb and i jumped on top of it and that was that's when i was writing music because i was like Like a smoke bomb or some shit?

1:17:43Nah, it was the honey bee. The honey, the hornet's nest. Where it blows up and it throws a gang of bees and shit. Yeah, I jumped on top of it with my back. And it blew up on my back. And they started to me up and shit. You meant to jump on top of it or what? Well, yeah, because I don't want it to blow up in my face. So that shit was too close. Because I remember they just brought the big ass black tube. They launched it through the trade slot. I'm like, what the fuck is that? And then the hood out looked at me, smiled, dropped it in. That shit went. It went, ding, ding. I said, oh, and boom, I jumped on top of it, blew up on my back.

1:18:15And I remember the sergeant that was right there. I forgot his bitch ass name. But when I would go to Adalanto court, I would go to Victorville court and come back to Adalanto. And they would have my shit hanging by where the hood ass put their guns and shit. They're like, oh, you're our new mascot. When we blew up the bomb on your back. And it was my SBSD shirt and shit with a big ass burnt horn. But why did they do this to you? Because, oh, because I told them I was. Okay, so some shit happened where these two youngsters, they were like 18, 19 years old fighting cases, and they got dragged in to the ad sick right there.

1:18:50So ad sick is really not for the whole ad sick is like when you're like high power and like they got to keep you in the whole like type shit by yourself, by yourself, you know, administrative segregation. Yeah, so I wasn't there's only four cells back there. So it's everybody's back there. Like they keep out. They're taking a fight on the hood. That's type shit. They got to be watched. So that's where I was at. but sometimes the hood I was gonna bring like foods from the lower units and they'll bring them back to the scare room so they brought these two little youngsters and they're arguing with each other through the glass you know calling each other a bitch so I'm like listening like damn these youngsters better be ready to take flight on this food cause they already calling each other a bitch like you can't just be back down now so I remember the hood I comes to my cell I was like hey what's up talk to your little homies tell them how the goes back down here I was like man I was like let me out I'll talk to them so they popped me on my cell and I was like hey, you guys know what the f*** you did, right?

1:19:38Like, what? Yeah, you guys are f***ing. Like, talking shit to each other, calling each other bitches, bro. Like, tomorrow, like, don't trip. I'm going to handle it with you, but we're going to hop out. We're going to pop out the sales. And he's like, how are we going to do that? I was like, don't trip. Tomorrow come out. Make sure you press the button early in the morning. Make sure you come out first. So that's what he did. He came out, popped out. They both came out, and I was like, hey, look, chill for a little bit. Do whatever you got to do. Press the button in, like, 20 minutes. tell the lady in the boba that you're gonna lock it down so that's what they did they wanted he one of them was hiding under the because right there where the camera was at there's a phone but we can't use it because we're in the hole but it's just there and it's the desk so if you hide and crouch under the desk the camera can't see you so he was already in the cell and they he pressed the button you could hear the lady miss g she was like hey you're both in the cell and he's like yeah and she's like is your celly there and he changed his voice like yeah and they closed it and right away me too yeah and right away what I did I was like I already knew what to do I pressed the button I was like hey miss I need to take a shower I just worked out she's like let them do the walk first cause obviously they gotta do the walk to see make sure nobody's I was like come on miss you and me have a good rapport you know I ain't gonna do no bullshit with you like I just need to come out and take a shower like I just been working out come on they already both locked in she's like alright so she popped the cell I came out and fucking sure enough I tell this to come out I was like she's gonna see it on the camera she's gonna shit herself because we're not supposed to be in it because we're different levels we're not supposed to be in the same in the same living space type you know so right away she's like lock it down lock it down lock it down and this fool's like i tell this fool go in front of your cell i'm act like i'm in the shower and so i was standing in the shower she could see the camera in the shower but the only thing that's covering is my my private parts type shit so she could see i'm in the shower i'm like just stand in front of yourself for the doors and open she's gonna want you to go back in so sure enough he stands in front he waves the camera they open it and I jump out the shower and I get my shower shoe and I stuff it in the shit in the door and boom I tell these fools like boom I break a mop stick and I toss it to these fools boom I was like we gonna get down with the hoodos right now they're gonna come in and they're like what do you mean like get down like yeah I was like what you mean fool like you called that fool a bitch he called you a bitch we ain't doing all that shit fool we gonna get a cracking with the hoodos like we don't play that that's that cell soldier shit you know and they're like nah fool I'm like fool aren't you fighting carjacking you fighting some other shit like you gonna be in here regardless this is gonna be like a little two three years on you like what are you tripping on they're not gonna come in with like right yeah that's what I'm saying that's why that's why I broke the mob stick I'm like fool they gonna come here with right we gonna have to get ours in you know as long as we stay in the camera's view we good well if we get stuck in the cell that's where that's when they're really gonna fuck you up cause the camera is the hood I'm holding it and he's gonna be way in the back and while you're getting punched on, they can't see shit but a bunch of fools in turtle suits beating the shit out of you.

1:22:30So that's the part. That's how it happened though too. That's how that whole shit happened was because these dumbass kids. It was a bad situation but these fools shot me with a shotgun. They had a shotgun. It's like a beanbag shit. They shot me in my leg. So when they hit me, I fell and I told them to pass me the mattress. So I passed me the mattress. They started shooting the tear gas. They started shooting, shooting the tear gas and I'm like They're not coming out because I'm like, these fools need to come inside so I could take flight on them. Because if I go in my sail, all they're going to do is try to get in the sail and they're going to fuck this up.

1:23:01So as long as I'm in the camera view, I'm good out here. As long as I got to stay out here, they're going to keep doing shit. So what I did is I got the hair clippers. I broke the window, which why I fucked up is when I picked up, so I got this car. I picked up the hair clippers again and I launched them and they sliced my arm. So it became like a something like a medical emergency. so they had to come in. But these dumbass kids couldn't handle the tear gas so they ran in the cell. So I run into the cell but I'm in the vent because the vent's blowing clear air so all we gotta do is take turns breathing in the clear air because the vent's blowing at you.

1:23:36The older homie told me that when they would tear gas us and shit. Things that I would never think of. That's good to know. Yeah. Yeah, like if they're gonna gas you in your whole cell like with the tear gas you go to the vent the vent's blowing clear air so you just breathe that in and then you just take turns with your cell you like so because they got to do the phantom on you. They have to do three through thousands before they run in the sale. So as long as you guys take each other's breath, you're going to be able to get down with the cops. I feel like probably the Goon would be incredible on like Apocalypse Survival Team.

1:24:01For sure. We need to get him on Mr. Beast's show. He might win. For real. He's like a YouTuber who does all these like crazy competition things. He spends millions. Okay, I have to bring this up in the final 20 minutes of this podcast. What are you going to bring up? I watched a clip of you and a guy, a character, who I think his name was Funny Bunny. And he starts, like, arguing with the dude. And before you know it, Funny Bunny's got a flick to his kneecap. And it really seems for a second like he's about to let it go. And he doesn't. Fair call on that one. But, I mean, it was, like, one of the most intense moments I've ever seen on a podcast.

1:24:47like I don't know how much you want to say about that but like what got you there I don't know I mean he's cool he just I don't tolerate shit when you're like trying to fake the funk and try to act like somebody or not that's just not feed him but he's cool bro he's feed him like he's cool I just yeah it was probably that wasn't real yeah it was I was watching some other like a clip of him explaining and he's saying he don't carry guns he seemed like he wasn't really on some like super gangster shit so I was like kind of feeling bad for him yeah bro but it was all we cool bro that's the homie like ain't nothing wrong with him he's cool he's Fidermay okay that's good to know Fidermay indicates that he's actually not just well I mean I don't know about the other shit they're talking about I don't know about that I can't speak on that but as a person me and him he's cool like he's Fidermay but like the other shit they're talking about I don't know what the fuck.

1:25:44I don't know nothing about that. You got a real good relationship with Hater World. People might not know that. Nah, but see, Hater World don't even f*** you anymore. Oh, really? What happened? I mean, I don't know if he f***s me or not, but he don't even follow me or nothing like that. What? Yeah, he don't follow me or some shit. Damn, blue devil. I wonder what he was. Why? I don't know why he did that. I was tripping out on that, but I don't know. I was looking at you thinking that you were kind of like he's building up his little network of different hosts and stuff, and that you guys seem like you had a good rapport.

1:26:10You could have been like a little pussy. No, yeah, I was cool, though. AD. Yeah. Nah, I was cool. I was feeling with him. Like, we was cool, but I don't know what happened. He just randomly, like, I don't know. You fuck with Droops and O 'Pena and all that? Oh, yeah, Droops. Yeah, Droops is cool. Droops is cool. O 'Pena's all right. Yeah, he's all right. You don't think he chose Funny Bunny over you?

1:26:29Maybe I had to make a choice. This guy's funny. Funny Bunny is a very funny name, needless to say. That's hilarious. I tripped out a name. That shit was crazy that day, but yeah. Did you ever see the whole like confrontation between him and whack 100 and all that and like the. Who funny bunny? No. Oh, Moose. Blue Devil. Oh, Blue Devil. Oh, yeah. I was seeing that. Yeah. I remember I was seeing that, but I don't know. I was just like that whole thing threw me off because that's when I was like, oh, I didn't even know Blue Devil's from East Los like that. I thought he was from the 909, but he's a East Los dude.

1:27:05You feel me? Yeah. Yeah. Shots the Blue Devil, though. You want to know another interesting thing I picked up about him is that while you were locked up, at one point, they, I guess, hate L.A. so much that you ended up getting jumped because you're from, like, really not close to L.A. at all, but, like, you know, like, a half hour and 40 minutes away or whatever. Like, that's how much the anti-L.A. sentiment goes on in, like, I.E. prisons and shit. No, but that was in Juvenile Hall, though. Oh, okay. Yeah, that was in Juvenile Hall. that was in June because they were like when I went got busted out there they were like on some like LA type shit they call it smell a smell yeah they were I didn't even know I was like what the fuck like I'm from Bassett but I don't know that shit they was like on some like you from SGV San Fernando whatever the fuck you're from LA like they was you was getting punched on every time so it was like I was on WGP which is withdraw from group program because every time like I would go on 72 hour WGP and then come out and by the time I come out I finally get off I'm taking they're taking the jumping already so it's like I didn't really get really that much time and they would like switch units I was going to the higher level units because I'm getting in more fights so I was at a young age in the higher units because all the fights I was but I was like it wasn't purposely I was getting fights because I was just getting jumped so yeah and then I just got to the point where like I'm I know when we come out we bench up there's only one foot next to me if I'm like in the closer cell so I'm gonna just take five of them first before I get jumped by the whole pack, you know?

1:28:37So I was doing that too. It's got to be a shitty feeling to be like, okay, if you were locked up in L.A., they'd be looking at you from somebody who's from kind of out of town. But we never treated like – I never treated somebody from out of county like that ever. In L.A. County too, like when Fusil come from San Bernardino County, I never – it was getting love. Like we was like, oh, hell yeah. Like, you know, like – but for some reason it's just like the other way around. It's not the same. I feel like it's not the same enough sometimes. because they got a grudge on the outside because of the fact that obviously LA's got all the rappers and the music and the culture and the food but if you really think about it like every there's rappers in all types of like in Orange County you got a gang of rappers out there they don't get that much attention for whatever reason but then meanwhile in prison they're able to actually be the big dogs in a way that they're probably kind of not used to like I mean they kind of control the prison more because there's not that many dudes from LA out there not necessarily i mean nah i mean i mean this is the land yeah i don't know i don't explain that but uh yeah i don't know that's what do you call somebody from the ie to diss them because somebody told me i'm not gonna do all that i got love for ie bro non-game member somebody told me one time that they call them ice cream which i thought was so in no shots i don't gang but i just thought that was the funniest diss i ever heard smell a is also up well have you you never heard of the SGV one?

1:30:04He's going to probably have to tell me off camera. Stop gang violence.

1:30:10I don't know how that shit was like, wow, bro, stop gang violence. It's so funny to make that like a negative thing. No, it is. It is super negative, but wait, okay. Speaking of super negative, and since we only got like 10 minutes left, one of the first viral clips I seen a problem to goon was, uh, you with, uh, a Heine and she got into a like I guess your ex Heine like ran up on you guys and you guys and like the chicks were getting down and all that like yeah that's an old video though he's like a Bassett blue face he's like drama and like fun shit happening that's Bassett face Bassett face on the game that's right he is on his face that's pretty good right Anytime you do some blue face ass shit That's what your friends need to call you Make it a thing guys So can you please explain For the people that haven't had the luxury Or the people that have That want more context Of seeing that amazing video Honestly I had just opened up for DJ Quick that night So I ended up You know There was Heinz there at the spa or whatever So I took him to the I took him you know to go eat or whatever and I posted it like I was there.

1:31:32But I didn't post the heinous that were there but she already seen because I posted another picture with the heinous so she already knew I was with some heinous. So that's what she I didn't expect her to pull up like that but she ended up pulling up and she just looked I remember the heinous in front of me was like telling me like she was over eating her french toast I remember she was all happy and shit. You're at the Denny's huh? Nah I was at I can't put the spot I was there. Okay okay alright. Yeah, so she's over eating a French toast, and I'm over here doing my shit. I'm like, she's like, my phone glows up, and it's a picture of my son.

1:32:05She's like, who's that? I was like, oh, that's my son. She starts laughing. She's like, I don't f*** with people with baby mamas, and here comes my baby mama. Charging up. 1:35:18This dude's a legend, bro. Thank you, I appreciate that. This dude's a legend, bro. Straight legend. Rob McGoon is a legend. He might open the door to your porn career. Legends of Goon. Hey, Legends of Goon. That's going to be the first sex tape. Legends of Goon. Fire. Log. Legends of Goon. L-O-G. Are you even aware? You know what I noticed? At porn, they don't lick a lot of ass. You're down, though. You're down to anybody? That's what I'm going to do. I'm going to bring to the table licking ass. I love it. hours. I like that for you, bro. I really like that for all of us, actually. Are you even aware that the word goon, like, because when you had that moniker, it was like goons, like, I'm a goon, like, I'm in the streets.

1:35:55No, honestly, it was... Because now they use it for jerking off, too. What the f***? You didn't know that? That's why he asked, what are you goon to? If you goon, like, gooning is different than jerking off, though, because to goon is to, like, really post up and watch for, I would say, like, at least an hour and just beat off. Dedicated goon. Dedicated masturbation is goon. How the you do that but like i don't know how the f*** you know that's a long uh yeah but f*** even then yeah that is true but even one hour shit that's that's yeah that's life off the scot yeah i've been i don't post it up homie and seen the you haven't done heroin bro that's the other side of that makes everything slow don't do drugs bro please don't no for sure proud of you and your sobriety bro nah for sure you gotta hold on to that man that's important yeah because i know that's your I think this guy has a bright future on camera beyond like, beyond like the potential plug talk affiliation and beyond like, thank you for thinking that.

I don't know about, I mean, I don't know. Go cause all the hands get checked and all that shit too. No, very much. Yeah. That's a problem though. That's a problem. That's a problem I'm pretty sure that there are rules against this No I'm talking about if you have a lady bro That's not going to work Unless it's the two of y 'all I could make money doing that though You could I just always assume that if you're like a real deal Gang member that there's like kind of Stipulations that you're not supposed to be doing For real?
