You've probably seen her podcast, Chloe vs. the World. But before that, she was on Series 7 of Love Island. And then she's become basically a national treasure. She's all over telly, TikTok, Instagram, and now you're in a new relationship. Chloe, welcome back. How are you doing? Thank you for having me. This is such a treat. Also, that intro made me embarrassed. Yeah, come on. Thank you. I know. I was always backing you from day one, girl.

3:33Really? I was like, she's got attitude for days. Obsessed. Stop that makeup when I walked in. What on? I get so... Why do they do us so day with the pictures and the makeup? No, we've come a long way. I feel like dating post-Love Island is a whole other world. It's the trenches. Like, I mean, I went back to my ex. I was so stressed. I love that for you. I tried that as well from before Love Island. But no, it's just scary, isn't it? Let's start back with, well, how do you deal with a public breakup? What was, how did you go through that? Sorry, did you come here to get traumatised? Yeah, yeah.

4:10This is my therapy for the day. I love it. What did I do? before I got announced, I was like terrified of it coming out and I just went to my mum's and I was just like in shock. I think I just stayed in bed. I don't think I changed my knickers for a week. Like I was so scared of going outside. And this was you and Toby from the show, wasn't it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then it all kind of came out. It was really overwhelming. So then I left the country. I thought, go away, go away. I didn't really use social media. Then I came back and it's just, it was just everywhere you went and it's everyone's topic of conversation.

4:42And even to this day, like they still tie me to it I was like oh my god please but yeah I think I didn't really deal with it I avoided it like the plague and then came back like three months later I'm interested to know as a fellow ADHD girly because I know I can tell you how it's affected my dating life how do you think it affects dating for you and you know getting to know a partner it's really really hard and like god bless anyone who's ever even tried to like slide in my dms you don't actually know what you're getting into because like I get really bad limerence I really fall in love with them and I'm big love bomber and I'll do that for a month and then one time like they'll do something wrong and then I have awful rejection sensitivity so I'm then depressed and think that they hate me and then I get the sudden I just like make them jealous so I do something and then my anger issue is like obviously I can't regulate my emotions one thing I'll do that and then obviously girl likes to party god knows what comes out of my mouth when I'm drunk so I think it's just it's not for the faint-hearted it's sink or swim like i'm not i can't be us change for you at the moment so it's a tough kick i think also with adhd people we're very much out of sight out of mind as well yeah so like i find brad's away from me for too long i'm like almost like am i single i love it like it's really but when i'm with someone like you say i'm like a love bomber i'm like let's get matching tattoos like i want to be right i want to be inside your skin i love that yeah but do you think brad knows you so well now so he like can just take it on the chin and just knows how to deal with you he knows me so well and he's really he gets it but i also think and i this is not something i hold against anyone there's only so much i think you can get it when you don't live with it so like sometimes still now like if i'm really overstimulated he'll go just chill out thank you so much i did not think i'm gonna write that down that is so sometimes i think he he he gets it as much as he can and he's a really good balance for me um but i don't think unless you live with it you can understand the thought processes sometimes and even if i'm having a really good day like something spins me off and then i'll just shock you with what i'm about to do next like oh my god it's talking relationships you are in a new relationship congratulations i'm very happy for you yeah the response has been mental because i think everyone thought i would just be the fun single drunk person for evs the auntie and i was committed to the bit yeah no i I was doing it for the plot for my whole friendship group.

7:05It's nice to retire. Tell us about New Bay and where did you meet him? He is, he's actually Liam's best friend. Stop, this is so perfect. So incestuous. This is so, if you live under a rock, Millie is Chloe's best friend, who she lives with. They're on Love Island together and Liam is her boyfriend. So he's Welsh? He's beyond, well he's Welsh and Portuguese. Oh gorgeous. But he like thinks in Portuguese but he speaks Welsh. So with a Welsh accent. but he speaks Portuguese. Yeah. That's like such a random mix, but I'm obsessed with it. So am I, weirdly. I never thought I'd be into a little Portuguese man.

7:40So you met through Liam? Yeah, so we met a few years ago, fancied each other, but then I got too drunk, embarrassed myself, and he thought, what mess, which is so fast. But then we actually met again in Australia, which I know, I don't think I'm talking to you. We met in Australia because I went out there with Millie and Liam. So then he just decided to fly out as well. and out of everyone we were like the two single ones so we just started snogging and never stopped which is cool. Oh no, I'm obsessed. I know. He's really sweet. So are you doing like a bit of a long distance thing the same as Millie?

8:12Yeah. But I love it. It really works for me. No stop because this is the ADHD thing because I like loved it when Brad was at a faraway team. Yeah. No, there were some times when it was hard but like space I like missing someone. I like space. Yeah. And I think it makes it better like I saw him he's like, please don't watch this. I'm going to tell him not to watch this. But I saw him last weekend. I'm seeing him this weekend. I'm like, right, I need a break now. I need my own time, you know. It's been hot. I'm overstimulated. I just need to do whatever I want to do. Are you an independent girl?

8:42Yeah. That's probably one of the things he loves about you. I don't think he does. Is he, like, is he a rugby boy? Like, what's his... No, he has his own construction company. Oh, even better. I know. Green flag. I'm like, fair, that's really cool. Yeah. He built me a wardrobe. I was like, wow. amazing these are all such green flags yeah we love a man that can like build stuff yeah he's like that's what he's good at that's what he does and i have to change light bulbs and brad hands me the stuff no don't no no no yeah when you play football straight out of school you don't know how to do anything else you don't so you get all the blue jobs we i've pulled it back now like i'll be like the bin's full like i'm yeah it's like i was just no way yeah and if the dog does a pill on a walk I'm like Blue job But there's certain things where I'm just like oh god let me just show you how to do this basic life skill but yeah no I love the fact that he's yeah and he's got a business he's got his own thing You did the boyfriend parent introduction Yeah I did You've done it Yeah I did it Ballsort like Big Lou is a character right and not many people Your mum Yeah my mum Not many people meet my family I think I've had two boyfriends me Okay One was you know on a show I had no choice in that She'd already seen him Yeah, like, that was up to her.

9:59The mum before was, like, years ago, like, no one's met my mum since then. Like, I don't, like, she's insane, bless her. Oh, I can relate hard to that. Yeah, like, and she's terrifying. And so is my sister and my brother. Like, there's a lot going on, like, dumb packs. And did he fit in with the fam? Like, did they like him? Yeah. Did it feel like, did it feel like a forced thing or is it easy? No, so easy. That's a good... Yeah, I hate the fact, I always have this analogy, if you meet a boy, they have to be able to, like, go to a dinner party and, like, get along with everyone. and you don't want to leave and be like, I babysat him, he was embarrassing, he was really quiet.

10:30I felt like he did that, which was fine. That is literally, I always call it being a social chameleon, someone that can work the room. Yeah. Whether you take them somewhere with like, you know, I don't know, full of really posh people or like the complete opposite, like they can just adapt and talk to people. It's such an attractive skill. I love it. And then you don't need to hold their hand. I know. And also I remember going back to introducing Brad to my family because I met his family first and he's only got him and his sister and it's like a really peaceful family. His mum's like the sweetest.

11:00Yeah. My family interact with each other by screaming. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So I was just like, you are not going to know what's hit you when you walk into my house. Like, and we are swearing and shouting. Do you know what I mean? Just I was nervous, but he was unfazed. Oh, good. Yeah, he was unfazed. Love that. Okay, this is really, really good. So did you do a hard launch? Right. So you tell me. so I actually we went on holiday to Dubai yeah classic vacation in February it's got to be done and when I was and I was filming this documentary where I was like dating so it was like illegal to post him like we weren't together like boyfriend at that point but whatever you were dating but you were mentally dating on the show yeah hardcore on holiday VV dating like if he didn't ask me to be his girlfriend then I was gonna end it anyways and he did at the end which is fine but when we were just like drunk by the poor I just thought oh my god let's post a selfie I posted that on my story.

11:55So like rumors started going, but then people thought he was gay. Wait, hold on, what? People thought he was gay for ages. And I thought - Just they thought you were with a gay bestie. Yeah, with a gay mate, which was cool, got away with it. Then it went to the Maldives. No, no, then he did this like charity bike ride and a marathon, got drunk. And I was like, guess what? My babe just did a three and a half hour marathon, amazing. Cause that's a really good time and you should post about it. So I posted that. Then it came out again. And then, but still people were like, nah, he's gay. And I was like, cool, this is great.

12:21How did he feel about the gay ex-Asias? It's not his favourite thing that's ever happened. He was like, Chloe, go on, you reply and say I'm not gay. And I was like, no, I'm liking these comments. And then we went to Maldives and it was his birthday. I played to him again. And then at that point it was like, hey, Kat's really out of the bag. So I didn't want a hard launch. So but Chloe wouldn't have done that. But drunk Chloe did it for her so many times. But the only thing I did do after we were in Dubai, because I did that on the Friday, then no one spoke about it because it was a weekend. and then on the Monday it came out in the press and I was like, what do I do?

12:52So I made him put all of his stuff on private and unfollow all girls and I was like, right, erase every single part of you online. And he did that, so he's a real one. He's like serious, serious. Oh yeah, he's ready. That's a really big test. There's nothing worse where I actually just hate myself as a human than seeing what you've recorded drunk, whether you've posted it on your camera or feeling either that it was really funny, the worst if you think you looked really sexy. I know. like you're like oh my god we're my friends we look like we're such the vibe like everyone's gonna wish they were out of us then you watch and you're like oh my god this is horrible and i love like shaking it on the camera stop chloe barry stop ill ill ill and also when i've had like two drinks my voice completely changes i start my words go yeah well no i go like south london i love when you go south london that's my favorite i don't know i'm not even from south london i'm from vista village which is like a nice country well everyone knows this village i know i'm swan from my mom doesn't speak like that like it's just my first time all my friends call her claire claire is out tonight and i'm like yeah bruv it's so good it's awful okay did you know that psoriatic arthritis may progress over time and could cause permanent joint damage if left untreated?

16:27if you're in your single girl era I'm trying to think what I would do if I wasn't tanned I'd put some tan on Yeah. I was, yeah. And I don't care if it comes off on my clothes, as long as I... I'd shave what needs shaving. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. If my hair was dirty, I'd just slick it back. Put a hat on. Yeah. Turns out you're going, doesn't it? Yeah. Legs would be out, for sure. And perhaps, no, a cleavage top, if I'm going on a date. I'm just getting my boobs out. And then a big hoop, and I'm on my way. Yes. Just moving 50. Oh, no, the tan. Yeah. The tan would be, like, good, like, overtime speed tanning.

Well, when I'm in the cinema, it's so weird to say this. I feel like I can tell who's on a first date.

17:37Oh, yeah. So I went with my friend Ryan to watch Baby Girl. Have you seen that? You know, with Nicole Kidman, where she's like, the sex is so graphic. And I could tell there were people on first dates. I was like, I would literally run for the fire exit if I had to watch a graphic sex scene with someone on a first date in silence. You're getting to it. Come on, nudge. Bridget, no, come on. You haven't watched a film then. I have, Bridget. She's like on the knees and the milk. I don't think I got the film. I'm just like smart. Okay, next one. Couples holiday within a month of knowing each other.

18:09So wrong, it's why I love it. I did that and I did it again. In fact, give it a week. Yeah, we're quite love-bombies, so I feel like I'm quite down for that. It's a good way to get over a lot of things. And also, I think you just learn so much about someone on holiday that you just don't at home. No, like you could be dating for six months and then you find out he's got dirty knickers all over the floor. That's frank. Yeah, I'm dying to hear you on this one. this would be splitting the bill on the first date. Illegal, wrong, yeah, hate that. I don't even care, like, who earns the most. Men should be paying.

18:39No, I'll die on this hill as well. Yeah. And I don't care what you do in your relationship forward. Like you say, I don't care about splitting bills. I don't care about anything but first date. Yeah. Don't even look at me. I'm not getting my purse out, by the way. I've got Apple Pay. If my phone's there, you know I can pay. Don't you dare look at me. And don't make it awkward as if they should be like, oh, are we going to do the dance? Just say, got it. Done. Done. Or pay before your bill comes. That's so true. If there's like a, oh, shall we? And do not, my biggest ick is like, once you've done the evening, enjoyed it, do not pick up the bill and dissect what things cost.

19:10Oh, like, God, the appetizer was£28. Yeah, well, I had three cocktails. I had nine. You're paying. I don't care. Oh, yeah, I'm not a cheap date in terms of the booze. I'll have a little salad, whatever, but I will be drinking. Oh, I mean, that is our 15 minutes. The washing is done. And we've had some great dating chat. We have. I wish you could stay longer.
