In short
This episode is a mix of sponsor ads and Olivia Attwood’s solo “Olivia’s house” chat about making autumn/winter feel better and more intentional. She argues that early nights (dark by ~6pm) can improve mood and gym routines, and that “no” is a full sentence—people should RSVP thoughtfully to avoid dread and self-preserve during party season. She also shares personal relationship reflections (giving Pete a chance; no major regrets; breakup stories around Christmas) and advice for single people, plus autumn fashion basics (Levi’s jeans, camel mac raincoat, knitwear, knee boots, baseball cap).
Key claims
winter can be empowering, alone can be good, and skincare/treatments should be chosen via professional consultation rather than Instagram.
Notable examples
“bikini tax,” getting out of plans by not canceling, and choosing destinations like Tenerife/Morocco.
Guests
none mentioned; only Olivia and her co-host “Lucy” appear.

2:52Olivia Attwood:We're hitting autumn. Gets dark at 6 p.m. Love it. You're pale, you're tired. Love it. I've never pale, Lucy. Shut your dirty mouth. I'm never f***ing pale. Be outside this winter. Your boyfriend is not going to come and find you at your door, so I've knocked on the door. You have to be out in the world. I am a type A. I'm the first daughter. I don't know peace. I would take myself to a dinner with a f***ing appendicitis hanging out the side of my stomach. I don't know how to let people down. Don't be worried about being single at Christmas. You don't have to buy some smelly, flaccid man a Christmas present.
3:26Olivia Attwood:You can spend all the money on yourself. Some of those relationships your pals are in will suck. Those men will have smelly arse cracks. They'll be tight with money. They'll have a mother-in-law that is a bat from hell. Sometimes alone is good. What's been the best decision of your year so far? Giving Pete a chance.
3:53Olivia Attwood:Hi, dolls. Welcome back to Olivia's house. I'm afraid to tell you summer is officially over. I mean, I'm not mad at it because I am... This is like witching season for me. I love an October, November, December situation. I think there's so much fun to be had just um you're gonna be cold okay so a little bit less apple spritz a little bit more mulled wine get comfy and let's get into it okay so obviously it's my house my rules and I have to play by them too I'm gonna leave some stuff at the door but I'm actually running a bit of an inspirational blank so can you give me some ideas Lucy 11pm dinner reservations leave at the door for summer just because we're going dark at like 5pm is different when it's going dark at 10.
4:39Olivia Attwood:And like if you're an Ibiza, you would have a 10, 11 o 'clock sit down. But for winter, I'm going to need to bring it forward. Saying, fuck it, I'm on holiday. Yeah, valid all year round. Because it's like, fuck it, it's Halloween. Fuck it, it's fireworks night. Fuck it, it's Christmas. Valid. Bikini admin. Do you mean bikini tax? Bikini tax. Bikini tax. When you work out to, you know, feel good in your bikini. No, you've got to pay the tax in the winter. because otherwise the debt collection is going to come for you when you're crying in your swimsuit in May. You have to build your summer body in the winter.
5:14Paying£25 for a cocktail just because you're abroad. Do you know what?
5:20Olivia Attwood:I guess I'm coming from a point of privilege here because this is not an option for everyone. I'm very self-aware of that. But I don't mind getting ripped off for a beverage, you know. Like, you know, threaten me with a£500 bottle of rosé every time. There's something kind of humbling about it. You know it's worth like a tenner, but we all engage in this fuckery, you know, if you're brain dead like myself. Ibiza. For me, and I know people might disagree, like early September, it's a no for me. And I've been to Ibiza many different times over the year. I need it to be warmer. Like end of September to me is risky, risky business for the weather.
6:00Olivia Attwood:So yeah, I leave Ibiza in the summer. And finally, summer romances Summer romances stay in the summer But I don't mind a kind of like a Christmas romance Like that's like the favourite, you know, rom-com era ever And what are you personally living in summer? What am I living in summer? Oh, don't you have a violin, Zach? But I want to live being sad in the summer Like Lana Del Rey, Summertime Sadness I want to have a happy winter Because I had a happy summer But there was a lot of crying I want to go back to being Cameron Diaz dead inside, can't cry on the holiday. That's my Christmas wish for myself.
6:39Olivia Attwood:I want to be able to like, it's unhealthy. My therapist told me it's why I got psoriasis. But I want to tell you this time next year that I haven't cried since. I'm doing well. We're on like week three now. So we're nine months into 2026, which is terrifying. A lot has happened in that time. If I showed January Live a picture of your life now, what would shock her the most? Like, what wouldn't shock her? Like, that I fucking survived. That maybe, like... Oh, there's just been so much change. I think she'd be proud of me. Like, yeah, that is... In early Jan, there was all this uncertainty in my life, and it's like it all...
7:30Olivia Attwood:Everything's happened so quickly. I didn't think I could be living on my own, like just me and the dogs, a new boyfriend that I've known forever, he's been kicking about fucking 10 years. Like it just is so much, it's so weird. Yeah, she'd be like, I think she'd be like, nah, do you know what, I'm good, it's too much. Is there anything that you thought would happen by now that hasn't yet? Um, in life or this year? This year. No. I think too much has happened. I think too much has happened. No, there's enough. There's nothing more that could happen. Is there anything you've changed your mind on in 2026?
8:18Olivia Attwood:I guess something I'm trying to get into the headset of is unpersonalising things in the sense that sometimes things happen to you or people do things to you or they say things about you and it's like everything can feel like a personal attack but I think that life gets a lot easier when you you are depersonalized unpersonalized what the grammar is that like sometimes it's not about you it feels like it's about you like someone says something mean about you or someone does something wrong to it feels like why me but it's actually not normally about you I'm trying to work on that and what's been the best decision of your year so far giving pete a chance
9:06um that's so cute worst decision of the year oh do you know what i don't really believe in them
9:12Olivia Attwood:i don't i like i i don't know if that's just a way for me to avoid accountability but i'm not really big on regret i mean worst decision no like even the crash outs they had to happen like even there's times I think that maybe this year I haven't looked after myself in the best way like you know like is the best way to mend a broken heart to go out a lot no but then also in some ways that those nights kind of save me as well a little bit so I think there's like yeah I don't there's no real regrets this year so far you're jinxing me so much because anything could happen between now and then but yeah I don't think so the problem with me guys I don't know if this is like a massive shock to you.
9:55Olivia Attwood:I love attention if it's good. If it's good or negative. Like, it's really fucked up. I'm definitely in the right industry. Like, even people are always like, how do you cope? Like, I'm like, I love it. Like, my greatest fear is that I can't upset the internet one day. Like, imagine I go to post something and no one cares. Shoot me.
10:18Have you got any new obsessions? Oh my gosh.
10:24Olivia Attwood:I spent too much money this year. I spent too much money this year, for sure. Like, I was definitely searching for dopamine in any form that was available to me. Some things are nice. Some things are just, I just fucking, which again is like, my God, it will cost some living crisis. So fucking, what's the word? Like, I'm sound so, like one of them dumb influencers that's like, oh my God, like, you know, I was put into business at a first, but yeah, I just fucking spent some money. I have a given money to charity too, I do that to balance it out so I feel less guilty um but oh yeah I bought some shit this year um obsessions
11:04Olivia Attwood:well this is a dangerous time for me because I love a knee boot I love a leather jacket I love a faux fur jacket like this is all year round's a fucking nightmare for my Amex like that baby is hot and heavy all year round she never she doesn't get a rest but winter fashion is where I really, really get into it. Right, we've got three months left of the year. Is there anything that you want to change before January? Oh, God. I want to try and calm my nervous system a little bit more. I feel like I'm exceptionally short-tempered at the moment, and I'm trying to blame it on the moons and everything else, but I think it's just the fact that I'm an arsehole.
11:45Olivia Attwood:So I'd like to be... I'd like to have a little bit more calmness, nervous system, because I'm going to make myself sick. I'm on the roof 24-7. I'm fucking insane. And, you know, now I have got a boyfriend. It's like, he's like, you're insane. I'm like, I live inside this head because I fucking know it's hell in here. Like, I want to just, like, like, I just want to give myself a break, but I can't. But maybe that's why.

14:16Obviously we're hitting autumn. Gets dark at 6pm. Love it. You're pale, you're tired. Love it. I'm never pale, Lucy.
14:22Olivia Attwood:Shut your dirty mouth. I'm never fucking pale. I have a spray tan twice a week. what you're talking about. I am never pale. All right, guys, here it comes. You've heard it before. I love these early nights and I don't give a fuck who's got seasonal PTSD fucking scared the dark disorder. I love it. I, they, I, okay, right, when I'm not out partying, throwing myself around a pole, I am going to bed at nine. I'm going to the gym at half five, right? I don't need the sun busying itself in my bedroom at 10.30. You're doing too much, son. Okay? So the early nights, yes, yes, yes. When I'm finished work, the dogs go calmer because they're like, oh, it's dark outside.
15:07Olivia Attwood:If people have kids, you must understand it. They go like, okay, my brain's telling me it's nighttime. You might say to me, oh, but you have to get up and go to the gym at half five. It's dark. Love it. Don't have to look at anyone. It's like all mysterious and cold. And I feel like I'm better than everyone else because less people do it in the winter. so the gyms are quieter. Love. So love it. If someone listening to this doesn't have that approach and is entering this. Embrace is cozy. You have to make your indoor environment no big lights, side lights, get yourself down to Ikea, get some little strip lights.
15:40Olivia Attwood:You have to create the atmosphere and just embrace it. It's cozy. When the sun goes down, it's basically telling you, unless you're a shift worker, sorry, like you're done. It's a wrap. Nothing matters now. The sun's gone to bed. Why should I do any work? like also I feel like well of course I can have a drink at five it's getting dark outside you know and if you are a fan of the cheeky sesh it goes on longer now that fucking sunrise that you're fucking 5 30 giving you the fear of god no we're going till seven mate but less of those as well this winter less of those um talking of the sesh obviously it's the time of year party season's approaching i've got everything lined up love it um christmas dues etc it's a busy time of year and often people are overwhelmed with having their weekends booked up when was the last time you said yes to something and thought why have i signed myself up to this i'm a big believer if you say yes to something you should follow through i don't like people that just say yes to every invite and haven't really looked into it i think it's really rude i think it's really crass i think that if you're going to go to an event at dinner you know things happen in life 100 but i think you should be really looking like, do I want to go?
16:53Olivia Attwood:Can I go? So I'm a lot more intentional now with my RSVP. So quite often now it's like, I'm saying no to things out the gate. Cause I'm like, I know that I've got to get up the next day or I know I don't want to go there because I've got to sit next to, you know, Bob and Bob's a fucking asshole. So I'm like, I look at it and I make a decision. So yeah, I think this season of like, you need to self-preserve, except it can be a very draining season for people don't be afraid to say no just like and no's a full sentence like and if you give ad adequate warning no one who's got a life is going to fall out of you over that like if someone is like getting that bent out of shape over it they've obviously got not very many problems in their life but yeah just i'm more intentional about the things i say yes and no to which invitation is most likely to fill you with dread we're talking like baby showers hen do's dinner with your partner they're normally more summery aren't they but um gosh fill me with dread the problem is here's a hack for you guys and obviously we'll put some kind of warning on top of this it's a great hack any event is fun when you're drunk so christening flask you know funeral flask um yeah no i wouldn't have wanted it any other way i was intoxicated for the whole thing like i think that you can create your own fun but my worst i have to be honest i have to do some major i don't love sit down dinners with people that aren't my mates.
18:30Olivia Attwood:I'll do them and it's good to network. And definitely if you're in a situation where like you want to meet new people, you want to make new friends, you want a new boyfriend, like you should be outside this winter. Don't use it for an excuse to stay inside. Your boyfriend is not going to come and find you at your doorstep and knock on the door. You have to be out in the world. I have a boyfriend. I have enough friends. I don't want any more. So I don't want to mingle. I don't want to network. So sometimes those nights are a bit, especially my job is very, I say it drains the soul because I, like right now I'm just talking.
19:04Olivia Attwood:I talk from the minute I open my eyes, the minute I go to bed at night. So then sometimes at the end of the day when someone's like, here's a dinner where you're going to make small talk. It's just like that to me is like the last leg of like a dexathlon. I'm like, oh, well now I've got to swim in this fucking lake after I've driven, I've fucking cycled and I've ran. No, don't want to. I do it because I'm obviously, I'm not quitter, but. What's the best excuse you've used to get out of a plan? I don't cancel Lucy. I am a type A. I'm the first daughter. I'm the first granddaughter. I'm a Taurus.
19:38Olivia Attwood:I don't know peace. I would take myself to a dinner with a fucking appendicitis hanging out the side of my stomach. I don't know how to let people down. If I've said I'm going to be somewhere i'm gonna fucking be there all right guys i'll tell you a story get comfortable if you're worried about being single on christmas i broke up with two boyfriends on one boyfriend on like the 22nd december and the other one i think was like christmas eve okay and i ruined my whole family's christmas with that breakup i refused to go to dinner because i wanted to stay in my bedroom and cry. So if you are alone this Christmas, it could be worse.
20:23Olivia Attwood:You could be dating some prick called like A-Rod or something and he could dump you on the 22nd December because he's a fucking asshole. Maybe, I didn't think about this before, maybe Santa Claus. Maybe he had stuff he had to do. I don't know. But what I did know was I got progressively drunker over my family Christmas and made everyone very uncomfortable. So don't be worried about being single at Christmas. If anything, I think it's a nice thing. You don't have to buy some smelly, flaccid man a Christmas present. You can spend all the money on yourself.
21:11Olivia Attwood:Hi dolls, we need to talk about skincare. If you're anything like me, you've probably spent years trying a million different serums and creams, hoping for something that will actually give you real visible results. For the longest time, my routine has felt overly complicated with too many options and too many steps. But recently, I started using Medicaid and it's completely changed my skincare routine. In the morning, I use the award-winning Liquid Peptides Advanced MP. It's Medicaid's Breakthrough Peptide Serum and it's clinically proven to visibly diminish expression lines in just 10 minutes.
21:47Olivia Attwood:The texture of this serum is incredible. It sinks right into the skin without feeling sticky at all and immediately makes my face look so plump and hydrated. And then in the evening, my go-to is the Crystal Retinale. If you've been nervous about trying a retinale or a vitamin A before, this is the one to get. Medi-K offer a range of strengths for everyone, from very sensitive skins to expert users, so you can ladder up to your visible age-defying results over time. It's clinically proven to smooth, stubborn wrinkles, decongest, and firm your skin without irritation. It's super gentle, and the morning after I first used it, my skin felt smoother and looked noticeably brighter straight away.
22:25Olivia Attwood:For me, I love that all their projects are dermatologists recommended and undergo rigorous clinical testing, so you can really trust what you're putting on your skin. If you want to upgrade your skincare routine and see real results, go to medicaid.com. That's M-E-D-I-K-8.com. Trust me, your skin will thank you.
22:50Olivia Attwood:hello this is the house hotline olivia speaking how can i help you today what you dirty bastard
23:01Olivia Attwood:okay house hotline is open and the requests come in sick and fast i don't know why you guys think i know anything but i'm gonna give it a good go okay i've literally just come out of two-year relationship, but I swear everyone I know seems to be settling down. How can I enjoy being single when it feels like everyone else is coupling up? Well, girl, let's start with this settling thing, okay? Because some people will be settling down and they'll be settling, right? So just thank yourself that you're in a situation where you can now go after what you really want, because some of those relationships your pals are in will suck.

23:35Olivia Attwood:Those men will have smelly ass cracks. They'll be tight with money. They'll have a mother-in-law that is a bat from hell. So you need to think about that where it looks like, oh, I'm alone. Sometimes alone's good. Let's start there. Second, we're in an era now of women that don't need to be in relationships. I'm sure your life's great. I'm sure you've got your own place. You've got a job. You've got friends. You don't need a man. You just want one. So I would just really enjoy being single. go out there have some one night stands use protection make some memories go on dates join like local clubs like go to mixes like just put yourself out there if you want to meet someone you're not going to meet them sat on your sofa so put yourself out there and when you see people in relationships it can be hard to not feel alone but I think it's a very empowering place to be I have literally no decent clothes for autumn.
24:34Olivia Attwood:What are some basics I should get? Okay, so I think for autumn, some of these will be very obvious. A good pair of jeans, some 501s, Levi's, okay? A good pair of jeans that will last you, fit you well. A MAC. I love a classic, you know, camel-colored MAC raincoat. They never go out of fashion, so they can go from year to year to year. they never change. I do it slightly oversized. A couple of really good quality white t-shirts. A grey or black round neck cashmere jumper. It doesn't have to be cashmere. It does for me because I'm a prick. But you could go for a wool mix. You could even go for a vegan option.
25:14Olivia Attwood:But some kind of knitwear that you can either lay out, you can wear it over your shoulders into that kind of interchange. Your weather that we're in, we go from one season to the other, that's always going to be really useful to you. A very good knee boot, black or brown leather knee boot will take any outfit from day to night. I know it's not like Cosmopolitan magazine in 2001 and day to night isn't really a real thing, but I'm just saying it. You just have that shoe that's like versatile and a good baseball cap. I think a Mac with a baseball cap looks cool. The weather's going to be crap, let's be honest.
25:49Olivia Attwood:It's going to be raining. All our hair is going to look fucked. get yourself a good baseball cap me and my friends want to book somewhere for some winter sun anywhere you've been you recommend now look i will be honest in many parts of my soul which might be surprising i'm a pretty basic bitch used to a lot of dubai in winter the thing with dubai is you know what you're going to get the weather's always good the flight's not that long but it is expensive so and there's obviously been you know stuff going on over there that might put people off but closer to home Tenerife is hot like pretty much all year round it's next to Africa they get this like sort of Sahara wind and sun someone google check that uh Morocco stays warm even parts of Cyprus stay warm Turkey Turkey stays hot until like mid-October from your research what treatments are actually worth the money.
26:44Olivia Attwood:I want a mini glow up, but probably only have the funds for one treatment procedure right now. So what I'm going to say to you, because I haven't seen you, is I don't know what your areas are you want to improve. So what you need to do by word of mouth, don't worry too much about Instagram because there's a load of fucking shit on there. Speak to people you know, speak to someone that's got great skin that looks after their skin. Who is their ethytician? Who is their dermatologist? Who is a really good medical doctor who will see you and give you a consultation and say, this is what you could benefit from.
27:17Olivia Attwood:Like for me, I had sun damage on my skin. So I did like IPL lasers, I did some resurfacing, I did some injectable skincare, like polynucleotides. But that was all catered to what I needed. My friend went in, she had a load of Morpheus 8 and she had some fractional laser because she has some acne scarring. So look, it basically depends. You need someone who's got a professional eye to look at your skin and tell you what you need. and then go from there and shop around a little bit. I have to tell you, and my doctor friends will hate me, Medispas will, of course, try and upsell you. That's what they're doing, they're running a business.
27:52Olivia Attwood:So maybe go in for a consultation, then go to another place, compare, do a bit of research on those things. But lasers, chemical grade, facials will always be worth your money if they're done by someone good. Dolls, we've got three months left this year and I would like to know who you want me to have in Olivia's house with me, who you want me to interview for the years over. Please spam the comment sections on the page. Let us know who you want to hear from and we'll try and make it happen. And I'm banning, our ban list is so long, I'm banning people that's going to hate Halloween. How can anyone hate Halloween?
28:34Olivia Attwood:Just say you're boring, okay? Bye, doll. See you very soon. Love you.

29:44Rated R. Under 17 on a minute without parent. Fall never arrives all at once. First the air. Then the light. And slowly the things you love begin to find each other. A jacket meets a dress. A hoodie slips beneath a blazer. An old cap finds a new scarf. because you don't simply step into the season. You create it layer by layer until it finally feels like fall.
