In short

The episode is a sports-and-comedy roundtable from Camp Barstool, mixing NFL quarterback news and hot takes (Daniel Jones vs. Anthony Richardson; Joe Flacco starting; Matthew Stafford “clone” joke; Patriots/Super Bowl-in-London debate), college football chatter (BYU starting QB Bear Bachmeier; Auburn “updated” national titles), and segment games (Hot Seat/Cool Throne, Mount Rushmore of “things that make your friend’s house cool,” plus “Guys on Camp” activities).

Guests

Adam Friedland (comedian; formerly of Comptown; hosts the Adam Friedland Show). The rest of the “guests” are recurring podcast personalities in-studio (Daniels/football talk with hosts including Hank, PFT, Max, and others), plus Camp Barstool participants referenced during “Guys on Camp.”

Guest backgrounds (Adam Friedland)

Standup comedian; known for the Adam Friedland Show; previously part of Comptown.

Key claims

  1. Daniel Jones won the QB battle in Indianapolis; the hosts argue he’s a “higher floor” than Anthony Richardson and could be “serviceable” enough to win ~8 games, though not Pro Bowl-level.
  2. Richardson’s agent is upset because the Colts appear to be “giving up” on him; the hosts suggest it could be coaching/job-saving logic.
  3. Super Bowl should stay in America; playing it overseas would create time-zone and logistics problems.
  4. Auburn is “updating”/claiming additional national titles (including 1910, 1914, 1958, and 2004) and the show jokes about how college sports allow claims.

Notable examples

  • “Indy” QB1: Daniel Jones vs. Anthony Richardson; “button” metaphor for QB options.
  • Joe Flacco starting for the Browns; Stabler (from SVU) spotted at practice.
  • “Stafford died/clone” meme theory.
  • BYU true freshman Bear Bachmeier starting; number 47 mocked.
  • Auburn’s three-QB and three-play-caller combinations for week one.

1:24PFT Commenter:Well, I guess that's redundant, right? We've done this before. Things that make your friend's house cool. Yes. Things that make your friend's house cool. We have guys on camp. 2:42PFT Commenter:happens when you lock 18 co-workers in an office for one week to compete for a quarter million dollars of cash this is surviving barstool season five presented by rumble premium each episode released three hours early so get it ad free before anyone else only when you join rumble premium surviving barstool premieres sunday august 9th at 5 p.m. on rumble premium and everywhere else at 8 p.m. today is wednesday august 20th and we got some quarterbacks boys daniel jones is back indiana jones indiana jones so daniel jones has won the qb battle uh in indianapolis that 2014 afc finalist banner belongs in a museum oh man i uh i feel like giants fans should should make a presentation for for the colts yeah just being like hey here's what you're about to experience so we've noticed it's an experience so we noticed

3:36Big Cat:that you're dealing with a cute bout of Daniel Jones as a starting quarterback you can call me crazy I think he might be good better than better than you think Daniel Jones okay so here is why

3:49PFT Commenter:he was in the room with Kevin O 'Connell here's why I'm nervous about Daniel Jones well the obvious he's Daniel Jones that would be stating the very obvious uh I believe this is a decision made under duress by Shane Steichen because he is very on the hot very much on the hot seat and he basically is in the worst place you want to be as an organization where it's like I'm going to get fired I got to find a way to eke out like six or seven wins uh and Anthony Richardson has struggled but he obviously probably has more upside or at least he's still he people could still sell themselves on Anthony Richardson but Daniel Jones gives you a higher floor I think I think Anthony

4:29Big Cat:richardson might be younger than some of the rookies this year yeah so he is he's definitely younger than chador yeah he's still definitely he's he's a project not completed project not even really like he's a project that you have given consideration to starting he is uh an ikea

4:44PFT Commenter:furniture project that you've laid out all of the tools you haven't started putting anything together what the fuck kind of wrench is this yeah oh shit did i did i you hear that like the drop of a of a piece of hardware you're like fuck where'd that go i lost something oh no you turn to

5:01Big Cat:page two and uh you're like i don't have this i don't have this piece yeah it's not here throw throwing uh with touch i don't have this piece well daniel jones would be a project that you you reach the end of and you're like he's like fully baked oh and then you've got 90 pieces left yeah that you didn't use when you constructed it and you're like this is going to break and it and

5:22PFT Commenter:And you're also like, this is not looking what it looked like in the showroom. Not at all. Like, I thought I bought one thing. Yeah. It's basically seeing a commercial for a cheeseburger and then getting it at a drive-thru.

5:32Big Cat:I went to, I purchased a Manning. I thought I got a Manning and it's a Simeon.

5:36PFT Commenter:Yeah. What just happened here? I had the Brooks brother Manning model. And yeah, we ended up with a Simeon. TJ Maxx.

5:44Big Cat:Yeah. So, I mean, Daniel Jones, what I say is going to be good. I would be shocked if he was like a Pro Bowl level quarterback, but I think he could be serviceable. Don't.

5:53PFT Commenter:There could be like seven or eight people who opt out of the Pro Bowl.

5:57Big Cat:That's true. Tyler Huntley. Yeah. But you know what I'm saying? I don't think he's going to be one of the better quarterbacks in the AFC, but I do think he could be good enough to win like eight games. I mean, Daniel Jones has had a good year. Yeah. He'll be very funny. Fast. He is fast. He is the fastest quarterback. Well, not inside the 20. Fastest quarterback. He's got like a force field at the 20.

6:18PFT Commenter:Daniel. That is true. By the way, did you see this is totally off. Not Daniel. Daniels, not Daniels, but Daniel. Totally sideways here, but did you see we're getting the first Bob in Major League Baseball in 15 years?

6:31Big Cat:That's great.

6:32PFT Commenter:We haven't had a Bob in 15 years. A Bob drought. A Tampa Bay Ray is named Bob. I love that. There are a lot of Bobs in baseball history, but 15 years without a Bob? What happened to Bob?

6:42Big Cat:It's way too long. What about Bob? Yeah. Itty-bitty titties into Bob. Itty-bitty titties into Bob.

6:49PFT Commenter:I wonder what those girls are up to these days.

6:51Big Cat:Probably killing it. Yeah, they're definitely crushing it. Absolutely. But I think with Daniel Jones, the funniest possible outcome would be if he played kind of okay, maybe got to the playoffs, then they gave him a big contract, and they didn't give Jonathan Taylor a new contract. And then Jonathan Taylor went to the Eagles and ruined everyone's dreams. Yeah.

7:11PFT Commenter:That feels like that could happen.

7:13Big Cat:Now, Anthony Richardson, him and his agent, they're not happy with what... Why? Because the Colts, they feel like the Colts are giving up on them.

7:20PFT Commenter:Oh, that makes sense.

7:21Big Cat:um i say maybe they're not giving up on him maybe they're just encouraging him to kind of you know he didn't get a full college experience he was a young kid maybe he needs to do more experimenting yeah maybe try out tight end see if you like it oh you're getting on your bill polian getting a little freaky i don't know but there is a chance that you know something happens maybe daniel jones doesn't play well at all and then shane steichen being a coach that needs to save his job he's like if I put Richardson in and he happens to play really well, maybe I can stick around for another year.

7:52PFT Commenter:Yeah, you do have the Anthony Richardson button that you can press. Whereas the Daniel Jones button is not as fun.

7:58Big Cat:No. It just isn't. It's not really even a button. No. It's just like a curtain that you pull down by hand when it comes out.

8:06PFT Commenter:Yeah, it's the old window in the car that you're cranking.

8:09Big Cat:Yeah, it's the crank window. Yeah. So, yeah, I think we said that that was going to happen, right? Yeah. We thought that it was going to be Daniel Jones.

8:15PFT Commenter:who knows maybe he did get fixed in minnesota dj if i were a gm i would if the agent was mad i would just play dumb i'd be like why are you mad yeah well you're not playing my my quarterback like oh okay but you know i guess you thought that we were gonna play yeah just be like all right well we'll look at it i'll get back to you that's that sounds like it's a that's you problem yeah we're thinking that we're gonna do that yeah see why are you triggered bro yeah what why are you triggered about this we got a golf cart going by we're at camp barstool and then the browns browns as

8:45Big Cat:expected by us joe flacco is starting the season for the cleveland browns did you see that stabler was at cleveland browns practice today no stabler elliot stabler from svu okay literally from svu was at the cleveland browns practice today on the sideline watching what is he doing just hanging out i i thought maybe they're filming an episode it might be i don't know some browns that could be an episode 2025 browns presented by dick wolf um yeah the brown the browns now like i hope joe

9:14PFT Commenter:Flacco goes back to the playoffs, and they're like, what did you do that middle Flacco year? Yeah. Why didn't you have Flacco? Yeah. You had Flacco. You let go Flacco go. Flacco's back. It's always been Joe Flacco. I'm rooting for Flacco. Something about that spiral.

9:28Big Cat:He's both an entertainer and a competitor.

9:30PFT Commenter:Yeah. It is funny now looking at AFC North quarterbacks. Flacco, Rodgers, Lamar, Burrow. Yeah. Is it the division of quarterbacks? Division of quarterbacks. listen two guys have the two old guys have have super bowls yeah the young guys haven't done it

9:46Big Cat:that's true they both have the exact same number of super bowls people forget that yeah it is funny

9:51PFT Commenter:too like looking at i i tweeted that i think i said it last week the quarterback age is where i changed jordan love's age but seeing the bottom where it's like if you win a super bowl you just get to be a quarterback till you're 50 exactly yeah it's pretty people will always be like well

10:05Big Cat:you won a super bowl and speaking as a 40 year old it's important that i see a guy like joe flacco out there representing me that's facts we could still play in the nfl um other quarterback news uh matthew stafford might have died yeah i fully believe that what the what the rams have done in that room the table that they had what was it called again it was a mortal table i think it was i think it was a milking table a human charger the human charger is actually just a cloning machine it was one of those it's a 3d they 3d printed a quarterback you know you have the iphone charger

10:38PFT Commenter:and then you can buy like the pad that you just rested on and it never charges as fast as the cord he has the pad so we need to put the cord up his butt but i don't know if that's actually matt stafford right so so so a hashtag started matthew stafford died or stafford died weeks ago and people are running with the theory that uh he's dead and this is a clone because he finally was at practice on monday um i'm not saying i i don't believe it i do there's a warm percent chance i believe avril levine yeah i wonder if he was a mcfader boy said see you later boy do

11:15Big Cat:we think this matt stafford's good uh i don't think he's gonna be as good copy is never as

Read the full transcript

11:19PFT Commenter:good as the original yeah some sequels are pretty good um hank you you alluded to uh you have a hot take you said you have a take that you wanted to get off i want to double down oh okay and what is

11:35Big Cat:it oh no i know what he's gonna say go for it patriots no well that too but uh no we talked

11:41PFT Commenter:about the oh no you come on dude we're gonna lose fans no we're not we should gain fans it's a

11:51Big Cat:football field it's the same dimensions it's the same place people are have it so twisted where it's like if we want this to be the biggest event in the world we should have it i don't Here's the thing, man. For people who might have missed Monday's show. Hold on. The more people are getting upset with me, the more they make more sense. It's like, oh, you didn't play football in America. Take points away. Take points away. It's a football field. Take points away.

12:16PFT Commenter:It's a football field. For people who missed Monday's show, Hank. There's no difference. He thinks that we should have a Super Bowl in London.

12:22Big Cat:I didn't really care when I said it, but then the reaction really, really made me. That's a great sign of maturity. To not actually believe your take, but then when people get mad at you, you're like, fuck it. Well, I was like, I said, I'm down.

12:33PFT Commenter:Also, how was the reaction? I said to suck my dick from the back. And then you went online, and you're like, oh, people don't like this. Well, yeah, but you guys say that to anything. No.

12:41Big Cat:Poo-poo, poo-poo, poo-poo. Are you French now? Hank, listen, the Super Bowl is played in America. It's played on a football field. In America. Not on a soccer field. Exactly. It's played on a football field. No, they can bring in football fields.

12:55PFT Commenter:Turf master. Oh, yeah, those always work. shout out the one guy who like maybe 12 hours after the show came out on monday tweeted me so confidently being like what don't you understand they'll play the game at 6 p.m like eastern time it will just be 1 1 p.m uh in london no it won't no it won't it's going to be other way bro it's going to be 11 o 'clock at night it's going to be not playing a game at midnight

13:19Big Cat:it's going to be 11 o 'clock at night which is going to suck everyone's clock is going to be screwed up that's associated with the game that's playing in the game. The Super Bowl is played in America by American teams. It belongs in America. It does not belong overseas because you're making me so mad. Hank. Because your take is so wildly incorrect. What has Europe ever done? Why do they have football games there in the first place? What has Europe done to deserve the Super Bowl? Answer me this. Riddle me this. Riddle me that. Why do we play games in London? Because he's trying to get all the fans, dude.

13:53Big Cat:Exactly. you know what exactly you know what you either die one of the brady four or you live long enough to become a goodell and hank you've become a goodell you're a corporate hank yeah corporate

14:04PFT Commenter:hank put a suit on this is for friday's show again hank you do have a desk again that was actually jarring to see hank hasn't had a desk in like a year and a half and i just walked by yesterday he's like what the fuck are you doing you're sitting in a chair he's like yeah i got a desk uh hank the super bowl i would say it on football field i would make the argument the super bowl is the most important thing we do as a country we we create the super bowl every year we have a season a football season that creates the super bowl to give that to another country is disgusting i'm disgusted with you i want to puke on you listen i know it's it's good you guys

14:43Big Cat:It's got, you know, pro-America, like you pander. It's not even pro-America, bro. It's kind of pro-America. It's better for the sport. It's better for the show. It's better for us. It's better for everyone.

14:54PFT Commenter:Hank, why the fuck don't we play the Masters in England? Let's just play the Masters. No, let's play the Masters in England.

15:01Big Cat:That is the literally worst example you could have possibly done. They don't have football feelings. You could have said the U.S. Open because that's played at a different venue every year. The Masters played one venue every year. You'd want the U.S.

15:10PFT Commenter:Open if we played in England? Well, no, they have the Open. Okay. Well, they have week eight. Jaguars versus Titans. Hank, what about the final four? Would you like to see that overseas too? Yeah, you probably would, you sick pervert. No, they don't have colleges. Oh, they don't have colleges overseas. They don't have NFL teams there. But they have NFL games there. They don't play college games. Yeah, they play college games abroad. They sure do. Do they? Yeah, for sure. They played on the aircraft carrier. Yeah. International waters, bro.

15:35Big Cat:They don't have colleges in Europe is one of the best. Hank, you actually think that. They're universities. You actually think that.

15:41PFT Commenter:They're unis. I don't even Zach I could see how it could open up to more fans Yep Zach get on here PFT let's quit Let's quit We're done with you guys

15:57Big Cat:Pardon my America Hank listen it's okay to take pride in your country It's the same fucking game You're gonna watch it the same way You're gonna enjoy it the same way Here's why it's not No it's not because time zones because then all of a sudden travel becomes a real issue for the super bowl it becomes uh the the culture over there becomes a real ways for this one did you know how long far away is on hank you know how long it takes super bowl cities it takes six hours to get to shut the fuck up it's an extra two hours shut the fuck up that what's the difference because american cities have planned for super we know how to do super bowl yes in america well they don't know how to do that overseas.

16:34PFT Commenter:What if we just did this? Just go to England and play. And also, by the way, someone said that if you think you can play golf in England in February, you're gone.

16:42Big Cat:I said the whole time it had nothing to do with golf. But it does.

16:44PFT Commenter:But you didn't mean that. It's February. You don't mean that. It's February. I do mean that. You don't mean that. You should want Super Bowls in America in warm weather climates where you can play golf. That would be selfish of me, and I'm not selfish.

16:57Big Cat:I care about this show. I care about growing this show. I care about growing the beautiful game of football, which we all love. I heard from a bunch of awls over in england saying fuck hank keep it in america yep i heard the same thing yeah pft said pardon my america which is actually like anti-america yep that's like what like a lib would say to someone who's like very anti-américa shut up max yeah max you you don't want the super bowl overseas either no i do i think it'd be fun no you wouldn't know what time to put the show out no you're still trying to figure out what time i figured out i would have more time to put out

17:29PFT Commenter:the show how much is goodell paying you guys seriously because i mean there's one person

17:33Big Cat:you don't have to worry about goodell paying it's this guy i thought so i thought that until this

17:38PFT Commenter:whole weird thing you're doing you're maybe you know what pft they're just going through a phase they're lashing out they want to do a little broad you guys are lashing no you know what it is

17:47Big Cat:we're not lashing out you're washed up you're you're close-minded and you're not realizing the world we live in today i think hank just realizes that the patriots won't be in a super bowl so he doesn't care he's like yes and it oversees we'll be in a super bowl before the commanders no we that's not true either you want to double down no double down double down double down 50 000 i don't think i can't afford to double down 50 000 double down put your money where your mouth

18:09PFT Commenter:what would that mean talk is cheap hold on hold double down but if there's a super bowl in england in the next 10 years your but your your uh debt is wiped clean if there's a super bowl in england

18:19Big Cat:yeah you're not going to wipe that debt no he gets an out if the super bowl is in england then you have to pay me in British pounds. I think there'll be more money. You never know. That's actually very anti-American. Do you not believe in our dollar? You don't believe in our dollar? I understand currency. Max always thinks that the pounds are way higher than you thought they'd be. Looking at the scale, buddy.

18:47PFT Commenter:Zach, what did you think about that one? I think everybody's weight fluctuating. Zach's not in this conversation. He's just sitting here like a neutral observer. Okay, what, Max? I have nothing to say. Okay, that's what I thought.

19:04Big Cat:The field will look the same. No, it won't. It's always raining there, dude.

19:10PFT Commenter:They have don't. No, they don't. I think they do.

19:12Big Cat:You know what won't be the same? They won't serve beer. They don't serve beer during soccer games. Yeah. They did serve beer at a football game. Shut the fuck up, Max. I'm the only one who's been to a football game in London in this room. Would you want the Super Bowl there? Do they have a dome? It was fun. I would like to go back. Was it in a dome? It was not in a dome. Yeah, they don't have domes. Listen, throw a tarp on the roof. If you want to play Commanders, Dolphins, and Madrid during the regular season, that's fine. Go have fun. Have at it.

19:42PFT Commenter:No one cares. Yeah, that's fine.

19:44Big Cat:Like a Super Bowl in Madrid would be awesome, too. No, it wouldn't.

19:46PFT Commenter:You just never want the Super Bowl in America again. I don't care. It's a neutral site every year.

19:51Big Cat:You want it in China? China. No.

19:55PFT Commenter:Yeah, you do. You do. You want to enjoy that? No. Australia would be sick. No. How about Jacksonville? Yes. Uh-huh. That sounds good. Jacksonville is basically a different country.

20:08Big Cat:No, Jacksonville is the Australia of the United States.

20:11PFT Commenter:Exactly. And snakes that'll kill you. Everyone there is a convict. We did an abroad Super Bowl last year in New Orleans. Yeah. It's just French as fuck.

20:20Big Cat:I like New Orleans.

20:21PFT Commenter:Yeah, I do too. That's what I'm saying.

20:22Big Cat:It's a different country. Also, you ever thought about this? The fans. The fans, Hank. Yep. This is the other point that also is just people are full of shit. Normal fans are priced out of the Super Bowl already. But some of them still go to the city. Some of them still go. But it's already way too expensive. I disagree with that. Oh, my God. It was 2013. It was like six. No, but some fans save up. I can do a big trip. But it's the same thing. You can still save up and go to London. Not everybody has Daddy Portnoy getting you into the games, Hank. I had to pay Dave five grand out of my own pocket when I had no money in my name.

20:58Big Cat:I had to pay him like 200 bucks a paycheck for like four months.

21:02PFT Commenter:Max, were there regular fans at the Super Bowl? I, yeah. Okay, thank you. Rest our case. I didn't know. But those same regular fans could go to fucking London. No, they don't pass. Do you think the city of Philadelphia has a passport? Yeah, I have a passport. Oh, there you go, Max.

21:19Big Cat:You don't live in the city of Philadelphia.

21:20PFT Commenter:That's true.

21:21Big Cat:But yeah, Hank. So it's already super expensive to go to the game if you buy a ticket. What about getting to – you want them to pay an additional like$7 ,000 to go to the game? $7 ,000?

21:33PFT Commenter:What team's fan base has the least amount of passports? Is it the Jaguars? Raiders. Raiders. Raiders as well. Jaguars. Cardinals is a good one, yeah.

21:45Big Cat:Yeah.

21:46PFT Commenter:Yeah.

21:47Big Cat:Let's see. Maybe –

21:50PFT Commenter:No, because I was thinking like – Bills definitely do. Bills definitely do. Anything on the border, Vikings, Packers definitely do.

21:56Big Cat:I would say the Rams prior to the LA move. Steelers maybe? Steelers fans, yeah. Could be up there. This is Steelers country.

22:03PFT Commenter:Someone just banging because they're so upset with what Hank's done. That's Danny Conrad. Is there a world to compromise where it's like one here, one there? What did you say? Is there a world to compromise where it's one here, one there, and quite flip third? Why do we have to compromise? Why do we have to compromise with England? But hear me out. We won a war for it. Then there's possibly a series situation. What do you mean? Super Bowl Sunday twice. One here, one there? You mean two Super Bowls in one here? Like a home and home? You're turning into soccer.

22:28Big Cat:It's on aggregate now? Oh, my God. A road touchdown counts for 14? I would take a best of three. A best of three would be awesome.

22:35PFT Commenter:I would take a best of three Super Bowl, yeah. That would actually rock. In aggregate, yeah, or an aggregate, that would actually rock.

22:41Big Cat:I just don't like the idea. Listen, you might call me too patriotic. I'll wear that. I'll say close-minded. Yeah, whatever you want to call me.

22:50PFT Commenter:I think that the Super Bowl should be in America. At least we're not fucking pussy bitches that just suck off Roger Goodell.

22:58Big Cat:I mean, you know, I literally got arrested. A long time ago. Yeah.

23:03PFT Commenter:A long time ago. All right. What else do we have? That was good. Good. Good. I think we almost. I actually covered everything. We might have gotten supreme debate there. Yeah, we did. Feelings could have gotten hurt.

23:15Big Cat:I think we all got in a trust. I appreciate Zach. Zach having my back there. That was the first time. I got one more news story. Okay. Before we get to the rest of the show, it's just BYU's new starting quarterback. Yes. So they named a true freshman their starting quarterback. He wears number 47. Ew. Okay. He better be running people over. Like, this better be a Taysom Hill. Is that the 40s? No, different number. What? Never mind. 41. I don't know if that was the TikTok number. All right. So this guy's a true freshman. He's going to wear 47. I'll say this. I'm going to hate it. But if he's good, it's going to be awesome.

23:52Big Cat:It's going to be great. He's not going to be good. As a college quarterback. NFL, it's not going to work. His name is Bear. Bear? B-E-A-R. His name is Bear Bachmeier. Oh, that.

24:02PFT Commenter:Wait. He's Hank's younger brother? Well. I'm out. Wait, wait, wait, wait. I've already been hurt enough by this guy. I can't be hurt by this family anymore.

24:11Big Cat:You ruined the setup. Why? His name is Bear Bachmeier. His older brother is named Tiger Bachmeier. Okay. And then their oldest brother is Hank Bachmeier. I can't do it. But I was just thinking about the parents. When they have their firstborn child, they had to be thinking like, we're going to name them like Tiger and Bear and shit. And then the baby comes out and they're like, not this one. This one's a Hank. I'm sorry I cut you off. That's probably his government name.

24:39PFT Commenter:The last name is triggering to me. Is Hank Bachmeier still in college? I'm sure he is. No, he's not. I'm going to bet a game on a Saturday. He's definitely not. Turn it on. and they're gonna be like, Hank Bachmeier drops back to pass.

24:50Big Cat:I think that was too long ago. I don't think his brother's still in college. There's also probably a family, like it's named after... Tiger is still in college. No, I'm saying like, they probably had to name Henry after relative, keep the name in the family. And then they were just like, fuck it. I just think they met the first baby and they're like, no, this is probably a soccer fan. We're gonna name him Hank. And then second one, yeah, Tiger is now at Stanford, I believe, which is pretty cool. The most famous guy named Tiger to ever go to Stanford.

25:17PFT Commenter:I'm checking Hank Pachmire eligibility. I think he's included in 2024. Okay, he's done. I believe so. He's done. We're done. He played 2019 through 2024.

25:28Big Cat:He played a lot of college football. But I think Bear, I think he's a true freshman, so he's probably also the youngest starting quarterback in BYU history.

25:35PFT Commenter:I'm going to give Bear one chance.

25:37Big Cat:Yeah. I'm going to bet on Bear. That's a bad start. You can't big guy. You put hard-earned money on a team, and you see a quarterback coming out wearing number 47. You don't like 47? I like it. It's a great brand. Yeah, you're right. It's on the side of our hats right now. It's a great brand, great hats, terrible number for a quarterback.

25:52PFT Commenter:By the way, speaking of college football, congratulations to Auburn Tigers. Oh, that was going to be mine. Oh, sorry. Yeah. We can get to it then. All right. Well, then let's do it. Let's get to our hot seat, cool throne, because we've got more stuff to talk about, and then we'll do our Mount Rushmore. Stell Blue Coffee's new can lattes are here. 27:45PFT Commenter:Oh, by the way, PFT, that was a fun Monday Night Football game. It was a very fun Monday Night Football game. You should have said something about that.

27:50Big Cat:No, it was great. It had pretty much everything I was looking for. Bill? Bill, Jacory, Krosky, Merritt. I told you guys about him right after we visited Ashburn. This dude is smooth. He's got a great first cut. He's fast. He's got not a lot of wear on his tires because he didn't play last season in college football.

28:07PFT Commenter:And he changed his name.

28:08Big Cat:Well, his name's Bill. He goes by Bill. His mom calls him Bill. I'm not going to say why because it involves Bill Cosby. But his name's Bill, and he's awesome. Good thing you didn't say why. And I love him. And he looked awesome last night. He was a lot of fun to watch. And then Jaden Daniels is still very, very fast and very, very good at quarterback. And he needs to learn how to slide, especially in preseason games because that was scary for me. But then he went and he redeemed himself because after Bill scored his touchdown, Jaden sprints across the field because Bill spiked it and got rid of the ball.

28:39Big Cat:Jaden had the president's mind, grabbed that ball, got it back for his teammate. Here's your first NFL touchdown. That's leadership. Debo looked very fast.

28:47PFT Commenter:He looked very skinny.

28:49Big Cat:What did you say? Fast. Fast. Fast. He got skinny through the hole. Yep. Through the crease. And Sam Hartman didn't. No. Sam Hartman, really good looking guy. Happy birthday. Happy birthday. Happy birthday. How did Terry play? uh terry is was resting how are we at with terry i'm actually more confident now than i was last week you were at 110 because i think jayden daniels when he was asked about terry he was like yeah it's just a matter of time before he comes in the door hearing jayden say that that inspired he's been coming in the door well he's yeah he's holding in so he is coming in the door well he said he's going to be stepping onto the field got it on the field too he's going to be stepping in between the lines on the field got it all right i'm glad we cleared that up hang yeah I think Terry is going to sign My prediction, my official prediction I think he's signing today Whoa I think he's signing on Wednesday

29:42PFT Commenter:Do you have a little birdie?

29:43Big Cat:No Inside my own brain Okay The crazy bird inside my own brain Is telling me he's going to sign today Remember when you said you were going to go sign him When we went to commander's camp? He wasn't there that day

29:55PFT Commenter:Yeah, so you can't call another signing? You can't just

29:59Big Cat:He would have signed Yeah, you say that you're going to call his signing. I didn't call the signing then. I said I would personally sign him, but he wasn't there. I thought he was holding in. He wasn't at camp that day. He was getting treatment on his ankle. That makes sense. His ankle is probably really hurt. It's a bad ankle. That's why he hasn't practiced. Yeah, yeah. He's still in the pup, right? No, he just got off the pup. Oh, right. Just got deactivated from the pup. Got it. So his ankle's fine now? Yeah. Got it. Ankle's good. He will be signing. My prediction is today. But it could not be today.

30:35Big Cat:But I'm pretty sure it's today.

30:36PFT Commenter:Okay. Seems like you got a birdie.

30:38Big Cat:I literally have no birdie. There's no birdie involved in this. My only birdie is Jaden Daniels sounding like he was happy about Terry.

30:46PFT Commenter:Context clues.

30:47Big Cat:But that's a big birdie for me. That's a huge birdie. Jaden Daniels is what he says. My life and happiness fluctuates depending on Jaden Daniels' mood at any given time. what about when jay daniels takes like a 15 yard sack and he still like wakes up or stands up smiling like he's always happy yeah he leads the league in smiles so sometimes bad things happen to jay daniels and he still seems happy okay good quality to have no i'm saying that but you're if you're basing it's like a deflection he should have terry mcclaren should have signed every day because jay daniels always jay daniels like i feel like jay daniels happiness does not dictate like things that are going on well i feel like you're gonna feel really stupid if i'm right well i and

31:29PFT Commenter:we i've been on your side i think terry mcclorn will sign with the with the washington commanders

31:33Big Cat:i think he will um and no i there's no birdie i have no inside information this is mostly me just wish casting and hoping against hope that works that's going to get done because i don't want to think about going to the season without terry because that makes me very sad but would make me very happy as if he signed today and then i'd be happy and then i wouldn't have to hear max so that's my that's that is literally why i'm predicting that he's going to sign today i like that i like that all right hank your hot seat cool throne my hot seat is uh lebron james oh it's been in the off season you know he's old he probably should be taking more time to get ready and prepared and get his body ready and he's just spent the whole summer golfing wow he's just not locked in he's not focused on we're golf shaming now the task at hand Wow Well I think it's important I think it's like something You know That's something for when you're retired But you know In the summer In the off season There is no off season In his industry What about ours?

32:28Big Cat:There is no off season In LeBron's industry And he should be So far

32:31PFT Commenter:So far in this podcast You've become A Roger Goodell Dick sucker Who likes England I never I never once And also a golf chamber

32:41Big Cat:I never once said the word Roger Goodell You brought him You just did And those are also two words Yeah, and you just did. Well, I never said his name before that.

32:49PFT Commenter:Okay.

32:50Big Cat:Never said it. Never said it. Is he getting better? A little bit. I don't know. I haven't seen him post a score. You're talking about Goodell? No.

33:00PFT Commenter:Oh.

33:01Big Cat:LeBron.

33:02PFT Commenter:You have to clarify when you're talking about anyone if it's Goodell or LeBron.

33:05Big Cat:Okay. You're two favorite people. LeBron screams, put me down as a par guy, though.

33:12PFT Commenter:Oh, we're really called shaming. Oh, no. Oh, okay. And then your cool throne?

33:18Big Cat:My cool throne is Justin Herbert. Here, there's a handicap. They started limping. Yeah. It's Justin Herbert. Madison Beer. Do you guys know who that is? Yeah. He was on set like holding hands with her at a music video shoot. That's QB1 activity.

33:34PFT Commenter:I agree. I think this is actually Justin Herbert's breakout season. Yeah. I like this. Getting the hot girlfriend. He's now. He's a rock.

33:41Big Cat:So tell me about Madison Beer. because aside from having a great name, is she a talented artist? That's really my college experience. Yeah, no, it literally translates to...

33:51PFT Commenter:Yeah, that's what I went to college for.

33:53Big Cat:It literally means spotted cow.

33:55PFT Commenter:Yeah.

33:56Big Cat:I would say her player comp would be Megan Fox. Oh, that's a good player comp. Yeah. But Madison Beer is an artiste. She is a musical artiste, Twitch artiste, right, Zach?

34:10PFT Commenter:Yes, well, Twitch artiste, musical artiste, socialite artiste kind of situation as well. Yeah. She goes out, does photo shoots. I'm just going to go rapid reaction image search Madison Beer. Yeah. Yeah. Guy loves beer. Yep.

34:27Big Cat:Taylor's old his time. Yep. So good for Justin Herbert.

34:31PFT Commenter:Looks like a very nice lady. Good for him. Good for him.

34:33Big Cat:So he's probably going to be happy. Yeah. Maybe a little tired. Maybe his maybe his wrist will be a little sore. No. No, his wrist will be fine. His wrist will be okay? Yeah. I guess probably less sore than normal. It's when you break up, that's when you're like, this guy.

34:50PFT Commenter:His fingers might be sore.

34:52Big Cat:I.R. Fingers sore. Tongue. He might not be able to call out the plays.

34:55PFT Commenter:Yeah.

34:56Big Cat:Could be. Could have a problem.

34:58PFT Commenter:Yeah. Okay. Good hot seat. Cool thrown, Hank. P.F.T., what do you got? Great job, Hank.

35:03Big Cat:My hot seat today is going to be time. Putting time on the hot seat. Max had a tough time with time. on monday's part of my take and it might be a philly thing yeah because john cruck during the phillies broadcast last night recurring guest of the show we love john cruck he brought up an interesting point that broke a lot of people's brains he asked the question how did the person who invented the clock know what time it was no fucking idea no idea he just that guy and that guy just said what time it was and we just all go off that now this shit is like thinking about the

35:39PFT Commenter:about space and the universe.

35:42Big Cat:Hank looks confused. Is the answer not the sun?

35:46PFT Commenter:Yeah, but what it's overhead, so it's noon? Why did he decide 12?

35:52Big Cat:Because he realized it took 12 hours or 24 hours to come back up. Yeah, but how did he know in that moment? How did he know? Oh, it's 930 right now.

36:01PFT Commenter:Yeah, how did he know it was 24 hours when he didn't know time?

36:04Big Cat:Or how long an hour was.

36:05PFT Commenter:Or how long an hour is. i'm done there we go yeah i'm checked out tap me see see how it happens yeah pretty crazy

36:16Big Cat:just a couple follow-ups my theory is that it was a guy that was in england and they think no no no revolves around them fucking and so the guy in england was like i'm going to declare that now is 9 a.m and the rest of the world has to abide by my declaration because I'm British that it's 9 a.m. And now everyone has to follow that.

36:35PFT Commenter:Yeah. And if they ever decided to do a Super Bowl here, everyone in America will have to watch it at noon. Yep. And that's minor spill. That's the story of the clock. Minor spill. That's the story of the clock. He also said on the broadcast, if he ever becomes vegan, he wants to be punched directly in the face. Oh, did he? John Kruk is like, he's the best. He's the best. We need more John Crux and less Henry Lockwoods. Agreed. Fathers, raise your sons to become John Crux. Not a Henry Lockwood.

37:09Big Cat:And then my cool throne was Auburn football. Congratulations to Auburn football. Great work, memes. Auburn football, they won four national championships today. Hold on.

37:22PFT Commenter:These are just moving it around. What is this? What are these? We just made it wetter a lot more of the area. You're doing moist towelette? Lynn's wipe. I just had it in the pocket. I was thinking of the new work.

37:42Big Cat:Okay, Auburn football. They won four national titles today. Okay. World record. They've won four before the season started. So they updated their official national titles. They added a championship in 1910 when they probably played against, like, Alabama Community Catholic College. The YMCA, yeah. 1914, when the world was at war. 1958, and then most notably, they added 2004. They're claiming a national championship for 2004. That, I believe, was the Jason Campbell, Cadillac Williams, Ronnie Brown, Auburn Tigers team. They finished the season undefeated, but they didn't get invited to the national championship game.

38:22Big Cat:So they just said, fuck it, we're national championship. I think they beat Virginia Tech that year, if I remember. So in 1914, Big T looked this up. In 1914, the Tigers finished second place in the Southern Athletic Association. They didn't even finish in first place in their own conference. They're claiming that as a title. In 1958, Auburn finished second in the SEC. Undefeated, LSU won the national championship. But Auburn is claiming it even though they went 9-0-1 and tied against Georgia Tech. Okay. And LSU won all their games. Okay. But this is kind of the beauty of college sports. Yeah. You can just claim whatever you want if you haven't won anything in a while.

39:04Big Cat:That's the next best thing. Remember when A &M put up all those national championships on the side of their stadium? You can just say whatever you want. Yeah, you can just claim them. UCF did that for a while. So, yeah, congratulations to the Auburn Tigers.

39:16PFT Commenter:And also, current Auburn Tigers are going to do something that I don't know if it's ever been done. So, they have three different quarterbacks going into week one, which that's probably been done. Hugh Freeze was asked about the possibility of playing all three against Baylor. He said, yes, uh, to that question. I love that. And then they also have three different play callers. So they have nine different combinations. So play caller QB. This is how they get ahead of the Connor stallions of the world. Yeah. What is it? Three. What's the thing? Three times, three times three. Yeah. No, what do you call it?

39:48PFT Commenter:Nine times three, 20. What's the 27? Exclamation point. The permutation three.

39:54Big Cat:I think they have 27. different possibilities of play callers. I might have screwed that up. I thought it was 3 times 3 times 3. Pemdons?

40:03PFT Commenter:No, because it's 3 times 3. There's only 3 play callers, 3 QBs. We're not a math podcast. No, we're not. We're not a math podcast. You're right. What's the permutation? I think it's permutations. What? Factorial. There you go, Shane. Shane from way downtown. Shane from the back of the bus Where's

40:28Big Cat:Backdoor Jack No it's Jack from the back Where's Jack from the back Where's Jack from the back Is he in the back Is he coming from the back right now I thought his name should have been Wipe from the back His name's Wiper Would have been better

40:47PFT Commenter:Alright my hot seat is anyone who is on Tommy Pham's shit list because he's in it again. Tommy Pham bat flipped a walk the other night.

40:59Big Cat:Okay.

40:59PFT Commenter:Tommy Pham is a badass. He obviously fights everyone. Remember, what was it? I think it was last year. He did a press conference. It was last year or the year before. I'll play it real quick. This was him talking about why he does all the fighting in the offseason. You know, so I'll never start anything, but I'll be prepared to finish it. there's a reason why you know i do all kinds of fighting in the all season because i'm prepared to fuck somebody up so you can take it as what it is yeah that's tommy fam tommy fam also uh looking for it remember tommy fam's been stabbed twice uh in his life i think it was one time was in 2020 at a uh outside of a strip club and the other time was actually by his uh stepfather oh Oh, my God.

41:44PFT Commenter:Because if you read Tommy Pham's Wikipedia, I believe it says that when his mom remarried when he was five, he never got along with his stepfather. They were always at odds. And then he ended up stabbing him when his stepfather stabbed Tommy Pham in a fight. Yikes. That's not chill. Yeah, Tommy Pham, he's a badass, but he's mad again. Okay. He's ready to go after him. Steer clear.

42:04Big Cat:Yeah. I do not want any problems with Tommy Pham.

42:07PFT Commenter:No smoke. No smoke. My cool throne is Bowling Green Football because they have an official mascot, Pudge the Cat. Oh, yeah, yeah. Pudge the Cat also has a jersey. Bowling Green has Pudge the Cat in their locker room. This is worth – I mean, these are vibes. This is a vibes thing.

42:24Big Cat:It is a good – if you're going to, like, think about live mascot cats, this has got to be right up there with Mike the Tiger.

42:31PFT Commenter:Yeah. Pudge the Cat just sleeps in a locker, and he's, like, kind of a fat cat. What kind of cat is that? He looks like... It's not Siamese, but it kind of... Conjoined? Look at that. Okay.

42:44Big Cat:Yeah, whatever that is. That's great. I'm not a big cat. Kind of looks like it's having an allergic reaction to something. Yeah. Hey, what's the...

42:51PFT Commenter:I got a question because it's just on this Pudge the Cat video. What's the genesis of the Nothing Beats a Jet 2 holiday?

42:59Big Cat:It's just a TikTok sound. It's from Love Island.

43:01PFT Commenter:Oh, it's just a TikTok sound?

43:03Big Cat:Yeah, it's just a TikTok sound.

43:04PFT Commenter:It's from Love Island?

43:05Big Cat:It's a commercial. it's a meme it's a meme people will like show nothing I think it started as like a shitty vacation someone would play that sound got it like something insane maybe if you see like a homeless person like outside your hotel got it nothing beats a jet 2 holiday got it I think I

43:21PFT Commenter:also on my cool throne is Tulane football because they had 10 ,880 meatballs during fall camp love that that's awesome the fact that they they kept track of it

43:32Big Cat:like the Uncrustables

43:33PFT Commenter:yeah yeah 10 ,880 meatballs

43:36Big Cat:Max, that should be your team. I know. I like that. I got tagged in that a million times. Hell yes.

43:41PFT Commenter:All right, Zach. My hot seat today, me along with other Buccaneers fans, we've talked about this before on the show. So Desmond Watson is running out of time to lose the weight. I don't know if you guys saw the video from today where he's playing with the practice equipment. It's like kind of shadow boxing on the sideline. And final roster, I think, for 53-man rosters are August 26th. He can join, I think it's a, he can join a, what's the word? I'm missing the word. A practice squad. Reserve list for 21 days to try to get the weight off. It won't take a roster spot, but they don't have to pay him.

44:22PFT Commenter:Where was he drafted? What round? Undrafted. I think it was undrafted. Undrafted, yeah.

44:27Big Cat:My question is, why was he able to play at Florida but not at Tampa?

44:32PFT Commenter:And also, what is the Bucs' plan? Like, why wouldn't you – like, he's fat. Dude's fat. He's not going to lose the weight. Why wouldn't you at least see what he has? Yeah. I think playing football is a good way to lose the weight. I don't know why he's just playing with the equipment on the sideline. It was a tough video to see, and I just want to see if he can get the weight off

44:49Big Cat:because now I'm invested. Yeah, I'm rooting for the guy. I am. But, like, he was playing at Florida, right? He was a consistent football player there. What about that did they see at the NFL level? And they're like, we're not even going to let him practice. Maybe it's like an insurance thing or like a liability. Like if the doctors say we really can't clear you, then they can't let them play.

45:07PFT Commenter:Yeah. It's weird. Okay. So I would have him in the hot seat. Yeah. Hopefully he can get it off. Yeah. We're rooting for him. Quick Cool Throne is, you guys familiar with the video game Fortnite? Everyone let it go to Fortnite? Kai's and I got an icon skin, which is themselves in the game. And he was able to launch that icon skin on the sphere in Las Vegas. Whoa. Wow. Which I thought was pretty awesome. That is pretty cool. That's awesome. Hey, you guys want to feel old real quick? I just did. Well, I did that, but the Cassianos home run was five years ago. Oh, no. Isn't that crazy? That is wild.

45:42PFT Commenter:When I saw that, I was like, what? Five years ago today? It was five years ago yesterday.

45:46Big Cat:Wow. Memes got to the airport this morning. He just looks at me and goes, happy Tom Brenneman Day for all who celebrate. Oh.

45:53PFT Commenter:So it's today. It's today. Yesterday, but today. Is it today? Today right now. we're sitting here uh yes it's today oh well happy holidays happy holidays yeah we should have celebrated we should have gotten you a cake that just said that word uh

46:11Big Cat:no just get him a cake shaped like a stanley cup

46:16PFT Commenter:oh man uh okay let's get to uh our mount rush war we got our mount rush war we're gonna do the Mount Rushmore of what is it again?

46:27Big Cat:Things that make your friend's house cool.

46:30PFT Commenter:Friend's house cool. He liked it. It took me like 25 seconds. Before we do that though, Mountain Dew. We're at Camp Barstool. We love Camp Barstool. Thank you to Mountain Dew for getting us out here. We played softball today. We played Jerry's Eggs. Jerry O 'Connell is hosting Camp Barstool this year. It's been wild.

46:47Big Cat:Me and PFT had a tennis match that was basically Wimbledon 2.0. Really? It was Center Alcatraz. How were you guys serving? My serve was dialed in at the start. It fell off a little bit at the end. Hank was making me run. His drop. Hank would hit every shot he would hit back to me. He would say, drop shot. And then it would land 30 feet back on the court. Every shot was a drop shot for him, but it was a battle.

47:08PFT Commenter:I love that. So yeah. And guess what goes great with playing tennis, being at summer camp? It's Mountain Dew. Hang with your friends. Having the refreshing citrusy kick of Mountain Dew. We have on Wednesday, as you're listening to this, we're going to have water activities. We're going to do some swimming, kayaking, synchronized swimming. Volleyball. Volleyball. Blob. Blob. It all goes well with the Mountain Dew. The Mountain Dew is calling. The Mountain is calling. Experience the refreshing citrus kick of Mountain Dew. Grab one today. We love Mountain Dew. Cheers. Are you drinking one? Cheers.

47:43PFT Commenter:Would you like to drink one? Oh, so good. Cheers. Okay. Mount Rushmore. Who's up first? Is it Max and memes? And then we're second? We're up. We got five left.

48:01Big Cat:Five left. Me and PFT are cooked. Well, we're two back of second place. So it's not at all.

48:09PFT Commenter:That's one.

48:11Big Cat:We could tie second place after this episode. Yeah, right. So far from good. It's between us two. It's between you guys and us.

48:19PFT Commenter:I mean

48:20Big Cat:You gotta finish strong Yeah yeah yeah Like Big Cat and Zach Go last every time

48:25PFT Commenter:Yeah we're screwed Yeah There's a chance Be a real shame Okay Who's up We're up

48:32Adam Friedland:We are going to go with How should we We'll just say The best snacks

48:39Big Cat:The best snacks Good snack house Best snacks What would you define As a good snack house Mountain Dew For sure Mmhmm Doritos was a big big ones. Zebra cakes. Yeah. Tasty cakes for the people in Philly. Gushers. Gushers. Yeah. Cosmic Brownies. The big barrel of cheese balls. What the oatmeal pies. Cream pie. I love a cream pie. Everyone knew the house that had the good snacks. And that was always a great house to go through. You kind of had to sneak in to get them sometimes. like they had the snacks there but like you had to like big time but they oh they usually had like good breakfast cereal like sugary breakfast cereal that you weren't allowed to have

49:23PFT Commenter:yep chocolate milk okay uh all right well we that was r1-1 as well uh so we will go with uh number six we can have six yeah uh the kid with always who had the most the newest video games video game console. Newest video game console. I just remember when my friend got N64 and just lived at his house. It was the best. Because if you weren't allowed to get video games as a kid, you always had to know someone who had them. And they got to play them all the time. Yep. And they usually had two or three consoles.

50:03Big Cat:Question.

50:04PFT Commenter:Does this still happen though?

50:05Big Cat:I feel like everybody just has every game now. No. I don't even have video games in my house. so I just would I need any of my neighbors had video games I just lived there which is smart I still think it happens if you're like 10 years old smart move by my parents because I was never home

50:18PFT Commenter:that was just a question yeah no like if you're like not a bad call my kids don't have video games yet but I think some of their friends do

50:24Adam Friedland:I also think a good iteration of what is like if your parents wouldn't let you play yeah yeah the super violent games yeah and your friends would like that

50:34Big Cat:that was big for me there were games that I wasn't allowed to play how about when you go over to your friend's house and since you're not there all the time all you want to do is play their awesome video game and they're sick of their video game. Or they give you the bad controller. Yeah.

50:46PFT Commenter:The bad joystick on N64 was the worst.

50:49Big Cat:I remember going over to a friend's house and being like, let's play GoldenEye. And him being like, dude, I'm so sick of that game. Yeah. I was like, how can you be sick of it? We never play it. He's like, dude, I play it every day.

50:57PFT Commenter:Yeah. Yeah, like, I don't want to play this anymore. But dude, let me play.

51:01Big Cat:Yeah. Okay. That's why I'm here. You guys have two picks? Hank's got the ball. What was that sound? we're just gonna what do they call it? I formation, run the ball we're gonna go with a pool okay pool house is great and in that same vein we're gonna go with a trampoline yep good picks

51:23PFT Commenter:good picks okay I did have a trampoline growing up I'd shout out we had

51:35Big Cat:My dad built like a basketball hoop, but hung it on a tree. So it was like harder to dunk. So it was like we were playing like intense, intense trampoline basketball games. That's why I often set up never. I never made the NBA.

51:50PFT Commenter:What are we doing here, Zach? Spent all my time on the tree. What do you think about 17 or 19? I like 17. I think we maybe go, you like three here?

52:01Big Cat:Three is good.

52:02PFT Commenter:Go three and then come back for the 17? Five. Yeah, because there's a good chance. We could take four awesome snacks. What about two, Zach? That was cool. Can't do it. So, yeah. That's also. Seven. Okay. The friend's house who you could watch R-rated movies and TV shows. Yeah. That was awesome. Also, usually the friend that had Cinemax. Yep.

52:29Adam Friedland:And also normally was the friend that later in life,

52:32Big Cat:their parents let them drink. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I would say that's responsible for a first boob for a lot of people.

52:39PFT Commenter:Absolutely.

52:40Big Cat:Absolutely. Okay. Zach, we play a game on the show. First boob, recurring segment. I don't remember the movie, but I know it was.

52:47PFT Commenter:Who's the actor from? We're talking cinema boob, right? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. National treasure. So, Nicolas Cage is in a movie, and he's celebrating St. Patrick's Day. And I don't know what the movie's called, but... Forrest Gump.

53:02Big Cat:Leaving Las Vegas. I don't think it's either of those. Gone in 60 seconds. But there was definitely...

53:05PFT Commenter:Saving Prevarine. No. Titanic. No. Ghost Rider.

53:11Big Cat:Braveheart. No. Spider-Man. National Treasure. Birth of a Nation. It's not a National Treasure movie, but it isn't... I know Nicolas Cage is in it, and he's looking at the rack. And the rack is looking forward to the crowd watching the movie.

53:22PFT Commenter:Passion of Christ. John Q.

53:24Big Cat:movie i'm not gonna be able to know the name of it okay apocalypto apocalypse now a score to settle

53:29PFT Commenter:godfather national treasure godfather two bad lieutenant godfather three i i don't think i'll know the movie if we wizard of oz no way okay we're out of movies all right you guys have two uh okay we are gonna go with a cool basement good one like you had your own space yeah we Yeah, that finished basement.

53:53Big Cat:And a big backyard for Wiffle Ball. Okay. You know what's great about the basement? Because we had this too. I was hoping it would get back to us. But the parents not being able to hear you. Exactly. Down in the basement. It was like you had your own apartment. Yeah. And it was completely separate from all adults. You stay up to latest in that basement. Yeah.

54:13PFT Commenter:Zach, should we pull the trigger on 17? Could also go five. Five is good. I like five. I loved five as a kid. Very young in life, yes. Yeah. Because I didn't... Yeah. I'm down for five. Okay. The kid who had all the toy guns. Nerf. I had that. I had that. Cap guns. Wasn't allowed guns in my house. I wasn't allowed guns in my house. But I had a friend who allowed all the guns. And it was fucking awesome. You over there, you just say you want to play guns? Yeah. Just Nerf. Cap guns, Nerf guns, paintball guns, whatever the fuck you want.

54:47Big Cat:This has been a great... I think every single thing that's been said has been on my list, and I feel like everything has been on everybody's list. Yeah.

54:55PFT Commenter:It's been good picking. Okay.

54:59Big Cat:All right. We are going to go. We have two, right? Yep. We're going to go... Tell him, Mike. Keep it simple again. Basketball hoop. Okay. Good pick. And we're going to go...

55:09PFT Commenter:Wasn't on my list. Wasn't on mine either.

55:11Big Cat:Oh, yeah. We can tell, Max, you don't ball up. I just think that most... Okay. and then a lot of our good ones have been taken so we're gonna go Hot Sister Hot Sister's great Hot Sister's awesome especially if she's like a year or two older because then she's got Hot Sister friends and then also maybe she can buy you cigarettes yes

55:34PFT Commenter:yeah like three years older three or four because then it was like yeah yeah it's too close

55:37Big Cat:Hot Sister's a great pick yeah and you're never gonna sleep with Hot Sister you're never gonna fool around but it's fun to think about

55:43PFT Commenter:yeah okay our last pick we're going to go with the friend with divorced parents because there's just no rules and usually they get everything and you could go back and forth to either house and when you get a little older that is definitely the party house

55:59Big Cat:we had divorced dad on the list

56:01PFT Commenter:divorce parents because the mom also got her hands full working there's just no rules the dad sometimes just wants to hang out everyone knows that the divorced parents house was the house that you get to party at because one parent to keep control of everything is a lot.

56:18Big Cat:Two Christmases. Yeah.

56:20PFT Commenter:Yeah, he usually has awesome toys. Yeah. And like the best shit because they're both parents trying to win the love. Yep. Okay.

56:32PFT Commenter:Uh-oh.

56:33Big Cat:Meatballs. So we can't say Hot Mom? You can. All right. That was going to be our pick is Hot Mom. Okay. Hot Sister, I think, is better, but Hot Mom's good.

56:44PFT Commenter:Yeah.

56:45Big Cat:That's our...

56:46Adam Friedland:I mean, that was the first time that my entire board was taken.

56:52PFT Commenter:Yeah. No, it was good picks all around. We had some honorable mentions. go-karts kind of tough power wheels yeah power wheels uh dirt bikes nice couches like the

57:04Big Cat:reclining couches bunk beds bunk beds were cool i had a very niche one yeah but when their parents smoke so that you can blame that if your parents say that you smell like smoke when you come back

57:16PFT Commenter:but actually you're just smoking yep uh ping pong table for beer pong that's a good yeah but both like as a kid and then when you get older it's like the ping pong table is great because you know the basement has room for beer pong um one that's easy to sneak out of yeah oh yeah that's that's a big one a little later in life but uh did you guys have any friends whose dad had a kegerator in the in the garage yep because that's just you can't keep track of how much beers in there no so there's just free beer it's awesome or just like the dad with your cabinet The dad who had a shitload of like alcohol on deck where it's like, you can take stuff from this house because they're not going to be able to see it.

57:56PFT Commenter:Yeah. Treehouse. Yeah. I never really fucked. I never saw a tree. I never really went into a treehouse.

58:05Big Cat:I feel like a treehouse was a big like TV thing. Yeah. I never really.

58:07PFT Commenter:But I would love one.

58:07Big Cat:Like when I was watching the Sandlot, I was like, holy shit, a treehouse was so fucking My aunt built like a self-contained bedroom in a tree that was like insulated, had air conditioning, electricity. That was always awesome. hot tub hot tub's good really the house you could just do whatever you wanted yeah that was yeah

58:27PFT Commenter:just absent parents maybe like a chill room situation theater room or chill parents but not too chill no because you don't want them so chill that they're like also like getting

58:38Big Cat:fucked up with you that's weird no not with you but like yeah yeah but like that's like they do the like the like pretend to be oblivious and right right what's up guys oh like coming in

58:48PFT Commenter:But I think there is a too chill parent that wants to actually party with some teenage kids. That's weird. That's weird. Yeah, really weird. All right. That was Good Mount Rushmore. Good Mount Rushmore. Good Mount Rushmore. Fantastic one.

59:01Big Cat:I got a list.

1:00:25Adam Friedland:car wash uh i just went through the whole the whole junket today yeah so how i mean how's it

1:00:31PFT Commenter:going your adam friedland show is awesome thank you guys thank you yeah it's good it's going well it's taken some weird twists and turns it feels like but it feels like you've you've landed at a I don't know how it's

1:00:43Adam Friedland:it's a sort of as a joke right

1:00:45PFT Commenter:right you guys were doing it as like almost a satire of of regular stand up or

1:00:51Adam Friedland:to make like the least popular guy from a podcast for ugly man into an intellectual style public intellectual in the vein of Dick Cavett I think that was like but then yeah eventually credits to nick i mean nick nick was the one who uh who pushed the idea because after stav left i was like nicky we have a brand let's just keep doing come town he's like no you gotta listen to me on this one yeah i was like smart well i guess so i mean like uh history kind of bends to that to nick mullen's will yeah yeah but uh yeah credit to him it's i don't know i'm the kind of the i don't i couldn't really say how it happened i do think it was the first time i tried at something yeah yeah i was a very lazy guy for a long time i i was like uh you know i was the third mike on

1:01:38PFT Commenter:a cum podcast but that was also the beauty of cum town i mean you guys you guys basically always made it i mean even doing like alarms to be like all right we've gone an hour we're done now and and and i've you know talking to stav like you had a podcast that made so much money and it still was tough to be like hey can we record this no no we would argue about what we're having for

1:01:59Adam Friedland:lunch we didn't think it was good we would be like that that sucked this sucks i didn't i literally

1:02:05Big Cat:didn't know it was funny that was some of the funniest parts though like when you guys like

1:02:08Adam Friedland:this this podcast sucked yeah we're like you were very funny sucks wait was there a moment though

1:02:13PFT Commenter:when you realized like oh this is funny or like recently in the last couple years i've heard on

1:02:17Adam Friedland:like my youtube algorithm i get like a compilations and i'm like that was that was amazing yeah i was like that was incredible i mean like they were like nick was on he was a genius he was the funniest guy of all time yeah no i mean it was like it was so funny i i literally it made us miserable i we

1:02:35PFT Commenter:had no idea that's a great feeling though because i have the reverse where i see like a tweet from like six months ago i'm like that was the dumbest thing ever so you have the the opposite of that where you're like holy shit that was incredible what we did well yeah i mean it's i think it's

1:02:49Adam Friedland:like uh also like when you're doing something that's like uh like irony is like you it's like you kind of protect your feelings a little bit where it's like if it sucks it's like well fucking we were trying yeah right yeah like fuck you yeah it's your fault for listening you fucking losers and then but like now that like the new show is like so work intensive and i'm doing it like seven days a week it's kind of the first time i've ever tried in my life at 35 it's like if you're trying as hard as you can and then someone says you suck it really hurts your feelings yeah like i know i like it's like a little bit like if you're like you made it to the nba if you're like on the end of a bench in the nba and like you know the phenomenon of sports fans like we're fat we're fucking losers we're moving watching and we're like that guy's a that guy's a fucking loser like and he's like fucking top level athlete yeah yeah i mean it must be so annoying for them but Like, yeah.

1:03:47Adam Friedland:Now, if you try and you're really making yourself, putting yourself out there, it's scary. But it seems like it's been going well. It seems like it's going good.

1:03:55Big Cat:I feel like I talked to a lot of people who were fans of the Cumbtown podcast that are now massive fans of your show. But with Cumbtown, there's a huge audience out there for it. Who's the most surprising guy that you found out was a cumboy?

1:04:09Adam Friedland:I don't know. You find out sometimes. I mean, I think, like, I don't know. I think there were famous people I guess that liked it it's always a surprise but yeah it's cool when you find out that people were listening to it I don't know I'm trying to think of who or if it's lame to say people's names I think like probably Bill Clinton Hillary Clinton yeah

1:04:39PFT Commenter:he didn't think you were doing irony though no he took it very seriously

1:04:44Big Cat:yeah yeah yeah the new show is awesome i love it i've watched i think almost every episode of it when it came out i feel like nick was he he filled a very valuable role that maybe didn't always translate on camera all the time which was like he was letting you know that you can do it yeah he was gassing you up yeah keep going with this this is funny because you there would be times interviews you like want to pull the plug on whatever angle you were taking he was like no

1:05:09Adam Friedland:keep going this is good and it ended up being great yeah i did well i think i think like i didn't know how to do interviews right like and the only reference like uh from doing stand-up you have to like interacting one like is like i guess crowd work where you're like what do you what do you do for a living they're like i'm a fucking you know like a speech pathologist for kids with you know disabilities and you're like you're a fucking pedophile see it works right out it's funny it's funny yeah yeah but it's like naturally like mean so like um so when i started the interviews like i think nick actually gave me the best advice which was like i obviously couched in like i thought it was an insult right but he's like why you take this fucking affect when you're doing the interviews i was like oh go ahead criticize me again he's like no you're like a nice guy you make people feel good to be around that that's why i encouraged you to do this like and uh he's like i i wouldn't i don't have that quality and yeah and so i i had to like figure out like what what about me is like uh it is could translate over to this and i kind of like i googled journalism literally i read the wikipedia page for journalism and then i'm fucking uh and then i what i uh then i tried why i was like who's good at interviews and so then i watched uh i was like maybe joe rogan i watched and then what he does is like um the guests always feels like they're crushing so he'll have bernie on one week and then he'll have like a guy that says the holocaust didn't happen the next week but both times he's like that's fucking trippy you're like yeah but like when naturally if you feel like you're convincing the host uh-huh you're gonna get more and more and more i think i'm on a roll here he's like yeah he's very agreeable right and so for me it's like i can't do my fucking like sarcastic dumb jewish like oh yeah like i can't do it like so and then i was like who else is good and then i watched i've actually watched a lot of Stern I think that that's yeah that's I grew up listening to a lot of Stern and uh kind of what he did the first like 90 seconds to two minutes like he would he was like he would become your best friend right he was like you're a huge star everyone wants a piece of you you're incredible and like he'd flatter and he'd like and then he'd be able to get anything you wanted and again first time you finger to check yeah yeah oh did you do her yeah I've been going back through watching a bunch and he always talks about doing girls yeah i would do her yeah i just watched the uh miss butterface competition oh yeah it's been going viral yeah it was been going viral on twitter i was like i forgot about that one yeah i watched the full one i was like it's so mean so when gary insults a woman there's something that's so repulsive about it when baba booey thinks that he could tell yeah i wish your body was a little bit tighter sweet it's like Gary, you look disgusting.

1:07:55Adam Friedland:You're one of the ugliest men I've ever seen my entire life. Just, yeah, we used to have a great country, folks. We lived in a great country, folks, before these vaccines and these goddamn cancel. No, but I realized that kind of like the way I had to find a way to ingratiate is just to like kind of self-deprecate, I think. Yeah. Which is like that comes naturally to me, and I've been doing that my whole life. So I'm like, you know, if I have a guest, I'm like, listen, I've I've crapped my pants on a podcast called Come Town like you don't have to you can kind of drop your car. Yeah. And then like make kind of kind of then have more interesting conversation.

1:08:32PFT Commenter:I also think the set that you created is like a big piece of it that's very underrated where it's like a public affairs. Right. It was intentional. It's almost like Kramer when he when he bought was the Merv Griffith. Yeah. Like it's it looks ridiculous in what I don't know what the whole room looks like, but I assume it's just a regular small room in New York City. No, it's pretty big. I mean, it's like an office space. But when you sit on it, there's got to be a little bit of like... It's ridiculous. Almost like we're doing a make-believe that would get someone a little bit more comfortable or like, this can't be that serious.

1:09:05Adam Friedland:I remember that we would do the podcast too. Nick and I were doing it together. Nick's working on other stuff right now. So Nick and I would still do the podcast to kind of pay for it. And I guess the new, now that like the new chapter, the Adam Freeland show is like, we were sick of fucking podcasting. It was like nine years of this shit. And I've like demeaned and humiliated myself for years. I was like, I want to try something. And I wanted to be like a little bit more sincere and high effort and like kind of like challenge myself to do something good. And so, but like, so then I was like, I got to make the monetize kind of the talk show.

1:09:40Adam Friedland:But Nick and I would still do the podcast there. and I think like there's a I think it's there's a clip of it somewhere online the two of us were like a girl walked in like a woman like who needed a bathroom key and walked in on us like sitting on sitting on the set yeah and like there were no camera operators we're alone in a room she's like what is this like a like a talk show and we're like it's like a talk show yeah we just like two mentally ill people it's just like yeah the mics weren't even plugged in or something like yeah We're like, yeah, we're just two men sitting in a facsimile of the Dick Cavett show set for the 1970s.

1:10:18Adam Friedland:Yeah. Just playing make-believe in this room. But yeah, I mean, it's cool. I mean, it's become a real thing. And we're booking. It's easier to, I think you guys probably understand this too. I mean, you guys have a huge show. So maybe you guys didn't experience this as much. But like for my purposes, like Trump doing, I think during the last election, doing like Rogan and Theo and stuff like that, it kind of legitimized a platform. Yeah. So like booking people to do the Internet three years ago was like a sell. And I think now it's like there's like it makes sense to people's like publicists.

1:10:54PFT Commenter:And like it's very normalized. And it's also there's going to be the clips and everything that comes out of your show is going to be seen by more people, like Jimmy Kimmel. I actually have a question about Nick So he left, he's working on other stuff Were you worried when he left? Because that was kind of It always felt like Comptown happened Comptown was incredible Then you guys went right into the Adam Friedland show So it was like, oh this is kind of still Comptown The bassist died But we're still watching

1:11:21Adam Friedland:They're doing this weird thing They publicly claim they're going to make a television show And they have no idea how to make a television show So I think it was pretty interesting in that area.

1:11:32PFT Commenter:Yeah, a band going basically like, oh, this is their disco era.

1:11:34Adam Friedland:But we didn't know. Literally, we were like, how does a camera, what's a camera?

1:11:39PFT Commenter:Yeah. But now that Nick left.

1:11:41Adam Friedland:What wires do you need?

1:11:42PFT Commenter:Did you feel a little when he said that he was going to leave? Were you like, oh, shit, now this is kind of the end of a chapter and I'm losing him? I think it was like, you know, we're adults.

1:11:52Adam Friedland:Yeah. You know, like, he's like, you know, like, this is, I found this thing, the talk show, and like he was getting sick of doing podcasting both of us were getting sick of doing the podcast we were both like fuck this and it was like the nice thing is that like you know now we i mean we've like we you know we're chilled we're very young men starting uh starting the podcast we didn't we you know we didn't know you can make money from a podcast and then now we're like middle-aged men and i kind of was like for the first time i was like yeah i want to like you know i want to i want to put it all on my shoulders and if i fuck up that's awesome it's on me if i did good it's on me i mean it's a good feeling yeah have there been like tv networks that

1:12:35Big Cat:have reached out to you to say why don't you come off the internet why don't you come to us uh-huh

1:12:39Adam Friedland:yeah um who um i mean the nation states yeah yeah yeah i was gonna say when are you gonna become an industry plant i know they're gonna try to get you to do that israel's been like hitting me up nonstop but I don't know it's a little dicey these days yeah that's Saudi money

1:12:54PFT Commenter:well and also you don't want to get the Nelk Boys

1:12:56Adam Friedland:sloppy second I want to get yeah well I want to get Saudi yeah I want to get get the get the live golf kind of deal going I want to do a podcast from Fight Island for like three guys like three shakes that's bullshit because it's not an island

1:13:12Big Cat:you know it's not an island right it wasn't an island no they lie they lied about they lied it's a beach

1:13:18Adam Friedland:Yeah Fight Beach Yeah Fight Beach Oh fuck off It was a fight beach Did you guys watch this weekend? We were at Yeah You watched My Countryman Oh that's your guy? With DDP Oh yeah yeah South Africa He got manhandled

1:13:32PFT Commenter:Just an ass kick It was just like a He just got He just got like wrestled It was just hugging Yeah Yeah

1:13:38Adam Friedland:Yeah it was like Dragged around

1:13:39PFT Commenter:Yeah his asshole

1:13:41Adam Friedland:It did seem like at the end Like maybe the most miraculous It did seem like maybe Yeah I know But it was not I was like, I kept saying to my boy, I was like, maybe like this guy, but he's like, you know, this guy is the, he has the mental fortitude of the people that did the apartheid. I mean, this guy's, this guy's gonna, this guy's like, he doesn't have quit, you know? Yeah. No, but yeah. He came in.

1:14:04PFT Commenter:He was a great guy. We interviewed him last week.

1:14:05Adam Friedland:He seems like a great guy. Yeah. He's doing it for Africa, dude. Yeah. He's doing it for, he's the king, the African king. Wait, what is he? He's like, I'm the real African king. He said that. Hell yes.

1:14:15PFT Commenter:I'm the real African.

1:14:16Adam Friedland:I just went back. My parents are from Cape Town. I was born in L.A., but I just went back in March for my grandma's 94th. Oh, shit. Yeah. But, yeah, we were back there for like two weeks. So we go back every couple of years. Beautiful city. Yeah. You ever see the sharks? I didn't see the sharks. Right before I went last time, I was saying before, my friend, he's like, yo, my cousin got just be eaten. I was like, he's like, yeah, my cousin's dead because he got eaten by a shark. Oh, shit.

1:14:47PFT Commenter:That's not something you casually tell someone.

1:14:48Adam Friedland:Yeah, like right the day I was like, I got to go to South Africa tomorrow. It was like, yeah, my cousin got eaten there. I was like, I feel like I should have known that. It's like my boy. I was like.

1:14:57PFT Commenter:My cousin got eaten.

1:14:58Adam Friedland:Yeah. Why are you keeping that for me? Those are crazy odds. Like nobody gets eaten by a shark. I guess Lucas' cousin did. Damn. Shout out to his cousin. Oh, he's dead. R.I.P. R.I.P. R.I.P. He was a good one. Yeah, fuck off to the sharks. Yeah. Fuck off to the sharks.

1:15:14PFT Commenter:do you do so you said that that uh people have reached out like actual networks because there

1:15:20Adam Friedland:is i don't know no we we like i don't know because i was waiting for the dnc money i really thought i was gonna get that goddamn call yeah listen they're like they got what like 10 million or something listen these people will pay anyone money they listen i will listen i stand for nothing I'm I am I've it's the highest bidder a dollar it is the highest bidder capitalism I will I'll do it for anyone but no the DNC never called me um I I don't just I'm I guess no one no one wants me I think at this point it's like um the concept was always like to make something real and then sell it but I don't know if in this day and age like I have the ability I'm like I have like I'm I'm not going to sell my my I the show and they own it now and then I get canceled right and you're also then it's not real because then you have someone telling you what you have to do like standards and practices and lawyers and then like I've you know I could I can make anything I want really and like I get to adhere to whatever don't give up that freedom and it's but I think also just if anything like I think if you like see the them boys down in Austin it's like you kind of

1:16:28Big Cat:also make more money maybe i think yeah you can but i don't think there's money in tv anymore but no joe still owns his stuff right yeah like he just has to put it on spotify yeah do you have

1:16:40PFT Commenter:you realized that you are doing a podcast no it's not a podcast it's a talk show okay you're wearing suits i know what you hate doing a podcast what is highly produced i will it is

1:16:51Adam Friedland:yeah i mean like we i am trying to make something cohesive that is a little bit different because the concept of like making another fucking podcast i agree it's just like what are you gonna be fucking it's another one like you have to do something a little bit like a little bit different yeah um do you get nervous for every guest yeah i don't i don't know i've kind of like realized that i'm like i don't know i'm like very like it's maybe it's a delusional but like i've realized when you meet people they're not that scary yeah yeah jadekis i was nervous about because it's like I'm like a white guy Like a white boy my age I was like I've been talking like him My whole life Just like behind closed doors In a Jewish summer camp Scenario We're like Yeah we're putting on fitteds and stuff I felt a little bit like And I had to tell him I like Off top I was like Listen I'm nervous right now Because I used to I used to wear Mitchell and Ness In a Jewish context And pretend And he's like, that's love.

1:17:55Adam Friedland:That's hip. That's real hip hop. Yeah. I don't think it is, but thank you.

1:18:00Big Cat:I remember before Dave went on your show, we talked for. I think Dave thought it was Come Town.

1:18:04Adam Friedland:Yeah.

1:18:04PFT Commenter:I think he might've thought that. I think Dave was one of the most confused of our guests. I think afterwards he said, I was like, how'd it go? He's like, weird. He's like that guy. I think he was like, yeah, this was one of the, that was weird.

1:18:17Adam Friedland:Yeah. And I was like, thanks for doing it, dude. Really excited. I think he didn't know what to make of me. we talked for i think you talked to me for like two hours i love researching researching dave and

1:18:28Big Cat:knowing what to expect yeah i think the the amount that i told you was like you would say like put these ideas at me and i'd be like yeah do that he's gonna be fine just say whatever

1:18:38Adam Friedland:you want to him well yeah you want to know you want to make someone comfortable yeah i don't know if i did with dave but like i think i think with dave like i think historically maybe like i When he looks at me, he's like, historically, that's a gay f***. And then I knew Ball, right? And he's like, and I think if a gay f*** knows Ball, it's like, am I gay? Am I gay? I think I just like, I broke his brain. I think he was expecting not that. And then I was like, you know, I asked him if he's read Porto and he's going to play. Everyone's f***ing asking me that. Yeah, no, that was that I love doing it.

1:19:19Adam Friedland:You credit to Roan and you guys like encouraging this because I think that, you know, you're you know, you're you're head of state. If anything, you're president.

1:19:29Big Cat:You can say whatever you want to Dave. Yeah, you're president.

1:19:32Adam Friedland:You know, like you put him in a situation where he's incredibly confused as to how he how he got there. Yeah. Yeah. Like this is. Yeah.

1:19:40PFT Commenter:He like calls the crisis team right after. He's like, what did you just have me do? Yeah. Back to my bunker.

1:19:46Big Cat:Dave's eliminated and Frank the Tank has to step up Is he vice president? You should interview Frank the Tank Or at least two of Frank Walks

1:19:55Adam Friedland:He's still in New York

1:19:56PFT Commenter:He's loyal, not like you boys What guest actually got mad at you? Who's got actually mad at me? I'm assuming it happens

1:20:05Adam Friedland:Anthony Weiner That was good though It was good So why did he get mad at you? I think that he just knows how to argue. I think that he's just like, I think, which is like the language of like me arguing with another Jewish guy. It's like I've been doing it my whole life with other Jewish people. It's just like me and my dad have yelled at each other in that way. And it just became that very early on. I set up like, you know, I try to set up small talk, right? Right. I guess comfortable, like, ha, ha, ha. you know like and i was like you know i was like oh he's a med fan i was like oh yeah like you seem more like a yankee fan you know and he's like what what's that supposed to mean what's that supposed to mean and i was like you know because you're like macho the med fans are like you know like i'm sorry and like oh i'm getting with this like you know like med fans are redheads and they allergies and like go to therapists and stuff yankees fans two two families You know like Cheat on taxes Insider trading Secret wife That lives three blocks away In the South Bronx That's a Yankee fan Like a guy that's got machismo And he's like I don't know what the fuck you're talking about He's like the Mets are New York's team He's like any real New Yorker He's like no real New Yorker Are Yankees fans And I was like what are you talking about That cannot be possibly true He's like, you guys buy your fucking rings.

1:21:38Adam Friedland:And I was like, this was the small talk. This was the small talk. So we were supposed to giggle at each other. I was like, he's supposed to be like, ha ha, yeah, yeah.

1:21:46Big Cat:I think you hit it off with Fredo, though.

1:21:48Adam Friedland:Oh, Fredo, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Right off the bat.

1:21:51Big Cat:I was like, I don't know which way this is going to go.

1:21:52Adam Friedland:I think typically if I expect someone, I'm going to vibe with someone, they don't like me. I expect that I'm not going to vibe, but they do end up liking me. Yeah. Does he like you still, though? Yeah. I did his News Nation show. Yeah. I don't know yeah he makes I don't know he makes fun of me when I did his News Nation show he was very laudatory but it was a little bit embarrassing it was like this is the future of the world of the voice of a generation I was like shut up dude

1:22:21PFT Commenter:yeah you had your New Yorker profile kind of had they were like

1:22:26Adam Friedland:last week that came out

1:22:28PFT Commenter:yeah they were like oh is he the next Jon Stewart is he the key to like Rogan on the right Is Adam Friedman on the left And you're just like I don't fucking know

1:22:37Adam Friedland:They're fucking desperate They have nothing If it's me from Cumbtown They don't have shit dude Like just Like fascism is They fucking Is it me versus what Donald Trump What the fuck am I gonna do about it I just wanna make the show funny I don't wanna be like the left I have my own opinions on shit but I'm not Yeah

1:23:02PFT Commenter:Has anyone approached you about that? Because it is the desperation you can smell it on them where it's like, who's the answer?

1:23:08Adam Friedland:I've got a couple members of Congress now. Well, I had Roe Conner as a senator, and then I did two interviews with members of Congress last week. But it's just like, if they fucking think that they lost because they didn't have a good enough podcast, they're fucking idiots. Because they've done it to Stabi, too. Maybe they lost because they offered nothing. yeah yeah maybe they lost because they're like um they're like yeah you can't have health care but

1:23:34Big Cat:like we painted a rainbow crosswalk yeah listen if you if we want to it's podcasts yeah it's tax credits for health care yeah it's our guy yeah yeah it's always their shit is always like so

1:23:45Adam Friedland:it was like a nathan for you like democrat plans are always like if you like you know like we have a voucher that you need like uh validated it like you and you have to get like a punch card you have to hike to the top of a mountain and you have to be a latina that's between 20 and 23 and then like you like if you're born in the first six months of the year and then you get 200 towards like your first house yeah and it's like like what how is that like they're like they're like this is like uh yeah we're all just no one understands what that means yeah yeah donald trump's like if you if you like say I'm sorry you're gay makes way more sense that makes total sense

1:24:27PFT Commenter:yeah is it uncomfortable though because it's happened to Stavi too where like the left this weird thing is happening where it's like we need to find someone and you guys your names come up yeah I see it and they're like and I it's funny because I obviously know both of you and being fans of both of you it's like these guys are just fucking around and they also again they have their own opinions they don't

1:24:49Adam Friedland:fit into a box that's why people like them yeah i'm not i don't i'll share my opinions but the other thing is this is like comedians have been like hoisted to this level that they shouldn't be at like i i hear people online say shit that they are not qualified to say and it's like you talk about your dick on stage like you're not qualified to talk about like the transmission rates of covid and like the fucking nih health fraud and like shut up that was about the guys

1:25:16PFT Commenter:Guys that try to literally fuck a waitress at a comedy club. Bill Burr on Roganite was during COVID, and they were both smoking cigars, and Bill Burr was like, dude, we're not doing this. We're not. We don't know anything. Yeah, they feel fully covered.

1:25:30Adam Friedland:So I try to avoid that. If there's something that I have an opinion on, I'll share that. But I'm not like... It's not going to be me, folks. I don't know. I just want the show to be good and interesting. Wait till they bring that check. But when I, where's the check?

1:25:47PFT Commenter:Where's the fucking check? All right, you stop me when the money's enough for you to become an industry plant for the Democrats, all right? Five million. What does that mean? Ten million.

1:25:59Adam Friedland:Just one time? Just one check. One check.

1:26:01PFT Commenter:One check. 20 million.

1:26:02Adam Friedland:You know how much they waste on money?

1:26:03PFT Commenter:25 million. They wasted$2 million in that last election. Yeah. $100 million.

1:26:09Adam Friedland:Yeah, of course. Okay, all right, good.

1:26:11PFT Commenter:What is it? That's my line too, right? We're doing the game. We get a 10 % cut. We negotiated that for you.

1:26:15Adam Friedland:We're doing the game, would you suck a dick? Yeah. I would suck a dick for$500 ,000. That's a lot of money. No, no.

1:26:22Big Cat:It used to be a million.

1:26:23Adam Friedland:Yeah. It used to be a million. You used to have standards. That was the funniest game of all time, like middle school game. Who's that with that you did on -

1:26:30Big Cat:With Stiney. Stiney, that's right. And Stiney was like - No way, bro. He was like, no way, but I would do it for 100 mil, but I'd have to be really drunk. Yeah. It's like, wait, so that you would like it more? You'd get molested. So you would kind of want to do it if you were blackout drunk?

1:26:43Adam Friedland:That notion of like, um, that I'd be ruined the rest of my life. Yeah. If I had a, if I got a hundred million dollars from sucking a dick, a scenario, which is, you know, a very real scenario that somebody, the notion that there's like a daddy warbucks that has a hundred million dollars for one suck. Like, it's just a, it's a, it's such a funny, absurd concept.

1:27:03Big Cat:Yeah.

1:27:03Adam Friedland:Yeah.

1:27:04Big Cat:I would suck a dick for a million dollars. Who cares? Yeah. But for the rest of your life, people will be like, that's the guy that's rich because he sucked a dick. Yeah.

1:27:11PFT Commenter:And you'd be like, yeah, correct. didn't you do uh mary fuck kill with him too and steroids was on it and he was like or was that another someone else they were like they were struggling they're like we gotta keep steroids

1:27:22Adam Friedland:like we gotta those well those guys like yeah it's so funny with the in retrospect what happened

1:27:28PFT Commenter:to them now everyone's mad at them because they had no poison yeah they'd be on their show

1:27:33Big Cat:after it was over when they were looking at the comment section be like that's all like having the modern day Hitler on your show. All right, that's a valid point. Yeah. Like if we knew what we know now,

1:27:43PFT Commenter:we probably wouldn't have done it.

1:27:44Adam Friedland:But the funniest part is like, they were like, we've been talking to experts all day. We talked to Nick Fuentes, Myron from Fresh and Fit, and then some other guy. And I was like, you talked to three Holocaust deniers and then me? I was like, what do you mean they're experts on Israel? It's like, it's such a funny idea. That concept or microcosm microcosm of the of the world today is like in the middle of gaza bb's like we gotta do full sand we gotta drink a happy dad we gotta crack a happy dad with steve we'll do it yeah yeah we gotta do

1:28:18Big Cat:a chug yeah it was it was absolutely insane then afterwards yeah all the fallout after it when they were like we should okay in retrospect we probably should have done some more research to find out who we're gonna they're not they're not gonna change anything well the thing about them is like

1:28:31Adam Friedland:they literally the that's the interesting thing and that's what like when i interviewed him like i talked to him about it but like is that like in the world today it was like you know i was like why do you think like the most powerful man in the world like donald trump the president have has done your show four times and why do you think like the richest man in the world elon musk has done your show and i think like they have like no concept they just think they're they're

1:28:54Big Cat:really good they're right they're like because we're awesome interviews it's fire dude which

1:28:58Adam Friedland:crack happy dads, do prank content, lifestyle content. Yeah. Yeah. Party content. Yeah. We said we'd have anybody. But it's just like, that's what the world is today. Like you used to have to go on like, that's meet the press nowadays. It's fucking chug guys. And then, yeah. And then like now in the middle of, yeah, like probably like the most controversial like human rights like disaster in the world. like the Prime Minister of Israel is like we gotta go we gotta fucking do

1:29:30Big Cat:we gotta do Nelk

1:29:31Adam Friedland:how much do you think

1:29:32Big Cat:they told him beforehand

1:29:33Adam Friedland:Bibi how much did they tell him how did they prep him I think Israel thought it was a good idea I think it's more to be honest it's gotta be more embarrassing for Israel than it is for Nelk if we're like if we're talking about like seriously right now

1:29:44PFT Commenter:yeah they thought this was gonna work

1:29:46Adam Friedland:they thought this was good PR to see Jews bad at PR like this that is really the offensive part to me like this is this is a thing we invented We're good at lying and being sneaky. We used to be sneaky. I miss what our thing used to be hiding. Are you? We used to be like one of my favorite Jews ever on a frunk. She was one of the best hiders in history. What happened to hiding? Now we're going to army. If I told my mother I was going to Afghanistan after I graduated high school, she would have killed her. We're not supposed to go to the army. Yeah.

1:30:28we're not made for it we'll get back to adam in a second he's brought to you by mountain dew

1:30:33Big Cat:nothing says summer like being at camp with the boys hanging out playing some softball today taking max yard repeatedly in softball hank three home runs today yeah three home runs it's like 10 you lost off max you lost to me in the home run off max uh it was a team game You went yard twice off Max today. That was awesome. I went yard off Max today once. That was pretty cool. Not as cool as doing it twice, though, Hank. That was awesome. And we were celebrating with Mountain Dew. The Mountain Dude was here. He was passing out dudes to everybody. Cool guy. He's got great hair. Love the Mountain Dude.

1:31:09Nothing goes better with hanging with the boys than the refreshing citrusy kick of Mountain Dew.

1:31:15Big Cat:And the new cans look gorgeous. I've got the Zero Sugar right here. Love the flavor of the Zero Sugar Mountain Dew. the mountain is calling experience the refreshing citrus kick of mountain dew grab one today and now here's more adam friedland who's who's your dream guest

1:31:31Adam Friedland:one one i don't know dude fucking obama trump i mean i would love i was saying earlier today i and also i was like just dead tired the first first part of the day dude dude i've done like i feel like i told you i was gonna you text me you're like hey i want to do it i feel strong car wash no you guys are you guys are you guys are fucking this is a lot of work to me yeah we had four shows today yeah that's i'm impressed i'm floored i'm impressed by the one of the shows is also i'm walking out of that i'm standing on the shoulders of giants right now one of the shows is also just you eating lunch yeah well i don't

1:32:09PFT Commenter:did a lunch podcast not only lunch but he said i said adam what do you want for lunch and he's like whatever i'm easy i was like tell me your favorite meal he's like sushi and then uh and chef Donnie's like yeah I can make him sushi yeah it took no problem seconds yeah sushi yeah and

1:32:23Adam Friedland:we were standing there I was like you've been in Japan before so yeah I was like the food's good he's like oh no it's great food I got the check out the cooking one that I did no no but early this morning I was like I am interested like like what's going on Obama's mind I mean I don't know like yeah what yeah where I was like I would love to interview there's a ton of people I'd probably love to interview i don't know i haven't really thought about it you know it's just like um obama's gotta be so bored like he stopped being the president so young and he was what is he doing yeah like and everything changed dramatically the second it was over and it's like does he think it's his fault does he think he should do say something yeah like deep down inside does he is he happy is he depressed and like uh yeah i wonder if he's like laying in bed at night And he's just like, if he's depressed or stressed out.

1:33:16Adam Friedland:He saw the drone strikes on him.

1:33:17Big Cat:And he was like, that makes me miss the White House so much.

1:33:20Adam Friedland:Yeah. This hooth he's getting. I wish that I missed the drones. Yeah. Because I feel like Obama's like, there is maybe some conscience in there. Like, Bill Clinton came from a dirt floor. You know, it's like Arkansas. Like, he got it out the mud. You know, Bill Clinton's like, it's all in the game. Yeah, right. Bill Clinton would kill an orphan and be like, that's what the game's all about. He's like Proposition Joe. Yeah. You know? The game's the game. Yeah, that's what the game's all about. But Barack Obama, I feel like, is like, I don't know. He's the first black president. Do you remember when he won?

1:33:57Adam Friedland:We were like, damn, a black guy's the president? We're like, America. The United States is fixed. America's great. Did it. Yeah. R.I.P. America's awesome. Yep. Yeah. we we got I was I lived in DC I went to college there and I ran to the White House and I was like fuck I was yelling at the building I was like fuck you Bush I was like we got a black guys moving to the White House you fucking piece of shit that was like when everyone hated Bush he was like yeah 8 % approval rating yeah were you there when uh when they killed bin Laden dude when they killed bin Laden and like John Cena said it on fucking raw best dude America that was Did you go to the White House that night?

1:34:37Adam Friedland:I think. When was that? That was maybe. 2011? 2011. I don't know. I think I was mad at Obama already. Okay. I think I was like, already, like, when they fucked up healthcare and then they fucked up, like, you know, they bailed out Wall Street. Yeah. Like, the guys who ruined everyone's life, like, just made more money from it. Yeah. I was like, oh, Obama's just like the rest of them. You're like, damn, he caught it. He could have. I was like, I got it. Oh, Obama. I got fooled. Yeah. But no, I was talking the other day. Do you remember there was that shooting in South Carolina at that church? Yeah.

1:35:13Adam Friedland:And then he did the memorial. And this was years into his presidency. And he's giving the eulogy at the church. And then he starts like, amazing. And we're like, Obama can sing? Yeah. We're like, he can fucking sing, too?

1:35:27Big Cat:Pulling that out. Yeah.

1:35:28PFT Commenter:We're like, we didn't even know he could sing. And he can ball, too. And he can hoot. And pulls off a mean tan suit.

1:35:33Adam Friedland:Yeah. Although I was saying earlier today I've heard from someone that's pooped with him Oh You think he's getting preferential treatment? I heard that he calls bullshit foul Oh Now I'm going to get fucking killed by the secret service You need to get drunk, right? I don't give a fuck, dude Obama apparently calls bullshit foul

1:35:53PFT Commenter:That's actually like That is like a person

1:35:56Adam Friedland:It's a mark against his person No, absolutely I would have no problem

1:35:59PFT Commenter:If you told me that guys take it easy on him I'd be like, well, yeah He's the president If the jump shot goes in, the jump shot goes in. If you're calling bullshit fouls, I don't even call fouls. It's pickup. You don't call fouls. We have one guy here who calls fouls, and everyone just hates it.

1:36:12Adam Friedland:And everyone thinks he's a foul.

1:36:13PFT Commenter:Yeah. It's Obama. He plays with us. Just don't get fouled. You're the president. Yeah, yeah. You're the president. Mr. President, do not. I would love to interview someone who's like, yeah, Obama called some bullshit fouls on me.

1:36:24Adam Friedland:Isn't that like a thing? Yeah. In your brain, you're like, hmm. No, I judge him differently. I don't like that. I don't like that.

1:36:29PFT Commenter:Yeah. Yeah.

1:36:30Adam Friedland:Yeah. Just weak ass fouls and pick up basketball. I just want to know what he... I don't want to know. Because it's like, you know, I guess he was in the campaign last time, but we really just haven't heard from him. And it's like, I just want to know what his deal is.

1:36:47Big Cat:The last we heard from him was he got accused of, like, inventing the dossier behind Trump, the Russian dossier. Yeah, the steal. And, like, being a big part of that and, like, pushing that forward. Was that him? Investigating him. And then he released a statement, which he never does. He's not like he doesn't ever really come out and say anything, but he was just like, hey, I didn't do this. This is bad because it took him being accused of treason and like threatened with the death penalty for him to be like, I didn't do that. Well, I think wherever he is, he might just be off the grid all the time.

1:37:14Adam Friedland:I think he's in Martha's Vineyard. Yeah, he's just chill. I think he's just water skiing. He's golfing. Just chilling and just golfing. That's I don't like that. I feel like there's has to be something inside of Obama. It is weird when you say it. There has to be in his brain, which is where he's watching this, and he's like, let me be - God damn. Yeah. Get me back out.

1:37:34Big Cat:No, because he's hoping that Trump runs again. Yeah. So that he can then come in - Does he want to get off the bench?

1:37:39Adam Friedland:Trump v. Obama. I don't know.

1:37:40Big Cat:I think he'll do it for Trump v. Obama.

1:37:41Adam Friedland:Because if they're looking at me and stop, they don't have shit. No. Okay? He's the one talent they have.

1:37:48Big Cat:Yeah. I always say that if you want to be president, you should never be president. And that's the problem that we have, is the mindset that it takes to get to that position - Yeah. is just absolutely insane. I'm probably going to have to do it. It's not. Yeah, you are. You need a reluctant president such as yourself.

1:38:03Adam Friedland:I made that joke to my girlfriend. I was like, because I've been interviewing these people. I was like, these people are like, you're supposed to. I thought they were supposed to. I'm expecting them to cook me, right? And I'm finding that they're way less impressive than I would have thought a politician should be.

1:38:22Big Cat:I feel like doing crowd work preps you for that a little bit.

1:38:24Adam Friedland:I don't know. I'm not a crowd work guy. I'm terrible at it. I mean, I was just like, well, just in me asking them a question, they get like, they get flustered. Yeah. No politicians in your head. Adam Friedland. Yeah.

1:38:34PFT Commenter:Like, you know, it's like not in your head when, when you're like younger, you're like politicians. Those are the, like, those are the adults in the room. And then you realize like, no, they're just fucking idiots who are like addicted to power.

1:38:44Adam Friedland:No, but they're supposed to be able to like, you know, dance around shit. Right. And deflect and stuff. And sometimes I've like asked a question. They're like, ah, you're like, dude, I'm like, come on.

1:38:53PFT Commenter:I'm not even trying. Yeah. I don't know.

1:38:55Big Cat:I'm an idiot. I think since media has become so fragmented where you have like your friendly shows that you do, they all just go in their friendly shows and get softballs. So they're not used to having somebody ask them like any sort of follow up question for anything. Yeah. When you do, you scramble their brains.

1:39:10Adam Friedland:Yeah. Yeah. I think. Well, also there with like the Democrats, they're used to like just doing the like like the like Anderson Cooper. And they're like, well, Anderson. And then they give the talking point thing. And then they're not used to actually having a conversation about this stuff. like in a in a different context and i think it's like what i found there's one i did last week that was like the guy was like i said to him i was like you sound bad like i was like i'm not even saying that in a mean way but you can't say that in front of people yeah like i said i was like you know like you you you know i asked him about like one of the people that you know uh donors to you know uh private donors that uh he's taking money from and he's like well i can't decide you know when people like me mm-hmm and I'm like you can't it doesn't sound like a good excuse yeah no yeah like maybe it's like if you don't need that money you're in a safe blue district maybe you don't have to take money from the real estate lobby yeah no they don't have to take money for blackrock yeah maybe it sounds like you're not doing what's the right thing call George Clooney he'll help you yeah exactly come on bro just just don't like yeah just lie just cheat

1:40:21Big Cat:I do like how everybody watched the debate last year And was like well this isn't going to work with Biden And then the Democrats were like Well let's hold on let's give it a sec And then George Clooney was like I don't think it's going to work They're like okay George Clooney He called me Leo

1:40:33Adam Friedland:Well they said that it was Obama that pulled the trigger on Clooney He put Clooney up to it? Yeah that was Obama That's what I've heard But in the background Obama was trying to get Biden to drop out for a while And I think it was like I think in retrospect, it's kind of just these fucking families that don't like each other. Yeah. And then I think - Dr. Jill's a baddie. Dr. Jill was like, fuck you, we're not going to do it. So then the Democrats rolled out a mentally enfeebled septuagenarian. I mean, that was embarrassing. Do you remember thinking, but it's embarrassing for America. Oh, yeah.

1:41:14Adam Friedland:Everyone's watching that. We look like idiots.

1:41:16Big Cat:The argument about the golf handicap was good. That was amazing. That was strong. I'll kick your ass, Buster. You got to carry your own dog.

1:41:23PFT Commenter:Listen, Nancy. See me on the links. It was always great when he would break out like insults that you that haven't been said since like 1920. Yeah. That's how old he was. Listen, Carol.

1:41:33Adam Friedland:Yeah.

1:41:35PFT Commenter:Your horse whisperer. I don't think so.

1:41:37Adam Friedland:Buster Brown. Dude, I rewatched the fucking the what was it? The corn pop video the other day. Oh, yeah. That was a good one. And that first of all, that was like 10 years.

1:41:47Big Cat:Which one was that? It's not even the craziest part. The craziest part was him talking about how the kids used to play with his leg hair. Yeah, they used to rub my hair up and down.

1:41:56Adam Friedland:And he's like around all these little kids in like bikinis and stuff. They're so bored. He's like at a pool, and it's the opening for a pool in Delaware where he used to lifeguard, I guess.

1:42:06Big Cat:I think it was an integrated pool. So there were some African-American kids that were there. I think the message behind it was they had never seen a white person's leg hair in the water before. They were just enamored by it. And so he was like sharing this story as a touching part of his youth growing up.

1:42:21Adam Friedland:And then his brain just goes on this tangent about this like rough customer named Corn Pop. Yeah. Who he calls him Mary. Yeah. Because they used to put the pomade in their hair. And you know, put the pomade in your hair. And I said, get off that diving board, Nancy. Or Mary or something. He's like homophobically abuses a gang member. and then the guy threatens him with a with a switchblade a straight razor yeah probably a comb yeah yeah yeah he's like you know how they used to put the straight razors and put them knock them on the curb you know get them rusty put them in a barrel and there's just all these bored kids in bikinis being like what the fuck is this guy talking about put them in a barrel get them rusty and then yeah and then he tells the story that the engineer at the pool the guy that like the pool engineer of yours like you go out there and he gives him some chain and he's like and he like goes up yeah he goes to his car and with a chain wrapped around his and then corn pops like he's like I apologize for calling you Mary

1:43:27Big Cat:that would be it would be an awesome story to hear your grandfather tell yes yeah old senile grandfather my grandfather was a

1:43:34PFT Commenter:badass but it was great I remember the one when he just said he called the guy fat he's like listen fat listen fat

1:43:41Adam Friedland:it was really sad It was great when he calls the Lesky Putin. He's like, but on stage, he was like, he said it like it was the music guest on SNL. He's like, ladies and gentlemen, Vladimir Putin. It was the wrong one. It was the opposite.

1:43:55Big Cat:Let me ask you this. So did you see the visual from this weekend when it was Trump and it was Putin in Alaska, the B2 and the F-35s flying overhead? Yeah. Do you think that Trump would have gone down in history as the best American president of all time? If he bombed himself. If he called in a strike on himself and Putin and just killed both of them. And he wrote a letter to America being like, and it's like the end of Tale of Two Cities. It's a far, far better thing that I've done. I think you're absolutely right. Yeah. I think there's no way around it. That would beat the Trojan horse. That would be the top military sneakery of all time, I think.

1:44:31Big Cat:I think, yeah. I mean, that would be insane. Yeah. And it was a fake Trump.

1:44:36Adam Friedland:Yeah.

1:44:37PFT Commenter:It turns out it was a fake Trump. Fake Trump. He's sitting in the White House.

1:44:44Adam Friedland:It was like his body double Like Saddam Hussein used to have his body doubles So many body doubles I love that

1:44:49Big Cat:I love that idea That'd be great You want to talk some ball real quick? Yes, I'd love it I know you're a big ball guy We were talking all kinds of ball We were talking tennis He actually We're talking Agassi He broke my brain I did not know that Andre Agassi wore a wig all those days He was wearing a rug Yeah, when he had a mullet The mullet was a rug That's crazy And he was doing a smoke of meth Yeah He was nuts.

1:45:11Adam Friedland:And winning majors.

1:45:13Big Cat:That's crazy.

1:45:14Adam Friedland:And wearing the coolest clothes of all time. I'm from Vegas, and so I was always an Agassi man. I liked the bad boy.

1:45:22PFT Commenter:Pete Sampras had too much chest hair.

1:45:25Adam Friedland:But he was like, you know, those goody two-shoes. Yeah, he was too pretty. Those were great rivalries those days. I also, I told you, I sat next to him and Stephanie Graff when I went with my parents in, I think, 10th grade to see Fahrenheit 9-11. The Michael Moore movie. You were just sitting next to them. And I was like, wow, it's the GOAT. Yeah.

1:45:44Big Cat:I know you like tennis. You're an Alcaraz fan, right?

1:45:46Adam Friedland:I like Alcaraz. Yeah, I do. I like him, too. But I like that there's a new rivalry. Yeah, it's good. Yeah, yeah. I was, yeah, I liked Fed a lot, too. Yeah. It feels good. I mean, like, I, right now, I was telling you, if you go in New York to the early rounds, like day one or day two of the U.S. Open, and just get a grounds pass, they just have like 10 matches going on 10 different courts at a time like the little courts and you just see like the number 48 guy versus like a guy that won a play in tournament and they were like just playing their fucking hearts out and it's like you just bop around and watch different matches it's a really fun day but yeah I was telling you you gotta read the autoblog I gotta read that yeah

1:46:34Big Cat:Have you read it? No. Doing the canon ads back then, like images.

1:46:38Adam Friedland:I know that he was like crazy. His father was like Earl Woods style, but he was fucking psychologically destroyed by this.

1:46:50PFT Commenter:I feel like that happens a lot in tennis specifically.

1:46:52Adam Friedland:Well, first of all, yeah. It's a psychological game.

1:46:57PFT Commenter:And it's also a game like you have to start very young and there's no team aspects. Exactly. So it's just very much like your dad's your coach, and he's just wearing you down as a five-year-old.

1:47:07Adam Friedland:Well, also, but his dad was like, his dad was Iranian, and his dad was a degenerate gambler, and he grew up in Vegas. And he'd like make, I was telling you, he'd make him play a man, and he'd be like, and he'd like, he was like 11, and he'd be like, if you fucking lose, we're going to lose our house.

1:47:24Big Cat:I mean, that's a crazy mentality to immigrate to the United States and then be like, I got to live in Vegas. You got to go to Vegas. That's where we're going to live. I love it there. That is the best place in the world. Let's go over there. So you're a tennis guy. I'm not a tennis guy. It sounds like you've got guys that you like in tennis.

1:47:41Adam Friedland:Yeah, that's a cool thing is you follow personalities and guys. And I've gone like, it's really fun. I live in New York, so it's fun to go to the US Open when you can.

1:47:49PFT Commenter:And you're an Arsenal fan.

1:47:50Adam Friedland:Yeah. That's huge. What do you mean this stuff?

1:47:53PFT Commenter:I mean, they don't win.

1:47:54Adam Friedland:What are you talking about?

1:47:55PFT Commenter:They haven't won in a long time.

1:47:56Adam Friedland:We're like a real team all of a sudden. Oh, yeah. This year actually should be good. No, I mean, we should be. that we're nervous right now. I'm nervous right now. But we're actually like, we're finally not pathetic. We've been pathetic for it. I started watching in 2005, 2006. That's right after they had the Invincibles? They went Invincible 04. Yeah, so that's the worst time. I've never seen anything good happen. Yeah. It really is. It's made me, I think, it's a reminder every year that you're going to die one day. That's good. The saying is, it's the hope that kills you. And it's just like every single year, they fucking do it again last year was a wash everyone got hurt it was just like everything that was could go wrong went wrong and we're like we go again next season and then we like accidentally like made the champions we like were facing Real Madrid in the in the quarters and I was like oh fuck we have to put never every the whole world loves to laugh at us because our thing is that we always fucking like our pants fall down in front of the whole school you know and uh and they just they love to like see that happen and um yeah and then i saw probably i think probably my the best thing i've ever seen which was us win that quarterfinal against real madrid and like win at the bernabeo and like and um and i was like this season might not be over i was like and then

1:49:20Big Cat:just we got shitted on by psg in the course how'd you become an arsenal guy i was uh i'm on a gap

1:49:27Adam Friedland:year program and like half the there were a lot of arsenal supporters and the first year i watched they were like i'm a laker fan it was like the two best teams are arsenal and man you yeah and it's kind of like there were like the there were like the cool like crossovers and dunks guys like the saucy guys yeah and then there were like the you know workman like it was like the celtics lakers you know mikhail you know the man you had like ingerlish like uh you know brutes and we had like just like uh like artists yeah and like thierry henry was what my favorite player like my first favorite on reverse wayne rooney and like well like henry was like no one has played the position like he did i mean he was just uh there he was uh the best i've ever seen as a center forward and yeah they were like they just had cool guys and they played a beautiful way but for 20 years I would just see us get just laughed at and shitted on and like Jose Mourinho would give a press conference and call like our manager Arsene Wenger would be like he's gay and everyone's like ha ha ha ha he sucks fuck you and like just every time something good could happen but it's like it's this weird thing is because I can't go to like they have the pub like they have Arsenal pub in New York and I just being an American like soccer fan is like it's the it's just the worst kind of guy you could be it's just like I know that it's lame living in Brooklyn I live in Brooklyn I live in Brooklyn and I like footy like it's just like

1:51:13PFT Commenter:shut up you are actually just like a made-up person on twitter that that like uh super you know red-pilled guy i used to yeah it's like if tucker saw that it's like a giant don't tell

1:51:26Adam Friedland:yeah yeah yeah with my latte yeah yeah no yeah yeah no literally i used to lay in bed at night and now that i'm just doing the talk show which is not a podcast actually not a podcast just one on the record, not a podcast. But I usually like LinkedIn.

1:51:42PFT Commenter:Can you listen to it as a podcast feed?

1:51:44Adam Friedland:Yeah, we do.

1:51:45Big Cat:There is a podcast element to it. That's for the ad. Yeah, of course.

1:51:49Adam Friedland:For the ads, you use the numbers.

1:51:51Big Cat:Right, right.

1:51:52Adam Friedland:But for the downloads. But it's meant to be, you watch it on YouTube.com. It's the Adam Freeland Show. Check it out.

1:51:58PFT Commenter:If you listen to it, though, you're not missing anything, right?

1:52:01Adam Friedland:You're missing a lot. What do you mean? I mean, there's a whole visual aspect. Adam's physique. Yeah, right. are you on TRT listen I came out here you should get on Arsenal yeah before that I used to lay in bed and you know that one thought you have about yourself where you're like I'm gonna fucking kill myself you're like you're almost asleep you like jolt out of bed and it's just the worst thought you have about yourself and mine was like always like you're a podcaster who lives in Brooklyn and I'm like

1:52:32PFT Commenter:is this what I've done we've joked about it for a long time though So the worst sentence you could say to someone is, could you come on my podcast?

1:52:39Adam Friedland:I'm a podcaster who lives in Brooklyn who supports Arsenal, who likes European soccer. Yeah, football. I call that football. I actually call it football. Yeah. I say soccer on purpose. Are you sick of LeBron as a Laker fan? Yeah. You know what's going to be the worst is the farewell. Yes. You remember the video tribute Kobe year? Yeah. where everyone has to act everyone was like everyone was like you're right brashed like for like 20 19 years in Kobe's career everyone's like fuck you Kobe and then like for some reason the whole NBA decided like what a gentleman thank you for kicking your ass thank you Kobe and he was like we wheeled him out every game it was like pathetic it's gonna be that times 15 oh it's gonna be crazy there's gonna be a documentary about it there's gonna be the documentary the motivation the genius of the eye the genius the fucking bullshit yeah no I mean I think that I'm a Laker fan so I guess I'm a Kobe guy so it's just like becoming yeah when we won in the bubble I've said this before but I looked into my heart like 30 seconds later I was like it doesn't feel the same with him thank you for being honest about that it really doesn't feel the same with him and it's like it's an emotional thing I guess I think he's just not going to be my guy but it's fine he's really good he's 40 like it is this good still and like we're still making fun of him and laughing at him yeah i don't think he's a funny guy yeah no i mean he's embarrassed like he's a very funny guy he's just a fucking why does he why does he have to say that he knew who migos was like eight well no he's

1:54:20PFT Commenter:they came out we make fun of lebron but at the end of the day imagine like the type of brain you would have if from 15 years like 15 years old for the rest of your life literally every single interaction you have with another human being is someone trying to be like we love you you're the best like whatever you want he has had just nothing but yes man for his entire life will be it changes everything you think you're the funniest you think you know everything like it's it would

1:54:45Adam Friedland:fuck you up that's true like every joke he's told has been laughed at right and so he thinks he's funny maybe we're like he doesn't have anyone busting his balls no chance right i think i think he's also the first NBA superstar in an era where you have to market yourself. We didn't know who Jordan was. We didn't know that he had just a hate in his gut. We just thought he... Off season he hangs out with Tweety Bird, Bugs Bunny. We didn't know that he was arranging hits. And then in his fucking hall of fame speech he's like drunk and he's like talking shit on Brian Russell yeah yeah like his high school opponents he's just like yeah when we watch the last dance we just see like just the spite that motivated him we didn't know that at all he was like a cartoon character LeBron has had to market himself cause like social media like the digital age and all that shit and you know he's just terrible at it I mean I don't know who's whoever's like I think he's the Akron crew is around him yeah and I think the other difference I think is like Kobe and MJ think that it's maybe soft to have friends.

1:56:01Adam Friedland:Yeah. They're like, yeah, you're pathetic that you need other men around you. Yeah, yeah. The boys. We're people that have no, like, it's a man doesn't have friends. A man like, you know.

1:56:15PFT Commenter:A man has a wife, then he dies alone.

1:56:17Adam Friedland:Yeah, has a wife. Yeah, exactly.

1:56:19PFT Commenter:He's friends with his kids until they're 12 years old, then he puts them out on the farm. Yeah. He dies alone. Gets them drafted. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know. That's what a man does. That's what a man does. A man will only cry if their dog dies. Yeah. Or at the national anthem.

1:56:33Adam Friedland:Yeah. You know, you kill your dad. You play baseball. This is a big show. I shouldn't be. I'm going to get in trouble.

1:56:41Big Cat:We're having fun. That was a fun thing. That was a fun thing. We're riffing.

1:56:44Adam Friedland:We were just riffing. No, but like the thing is like LeBron is just like, shut up, dude. You don't like last year when he was like on Pat McAfee. He's like, oh, I'm. Oh, like he was like on team mode. He's like, oh, I've had the hell. I don't the hell care no more. By the way, Brian Windhorst, I'm not your best friend. I've never known you. Yeah, if you have to say out loud. Why did you say that about Brian Windhorst? He's like some guy that's like, also was your guy in the media for 20 years. Yeah. He's like, went to the same high school as you. And he's like, oh, and by the way, I am not friends with.

1:57:21Adam Friedland:He's like, why are you doing this? Everyone loves Wendy. Also, just leave him alone. LeBron, you don't have to convince us. Just be bald. Can you imagine if he had one of those Clyde Drexler C afros? And he was just yamming on guys. He was just as buff as he is now.

1:57:38Big Cat:Can you imagine how cool that would look? That whole thing with Windhorse was like, he was so mad that Windhorse might have gotten one small thing wrong in one of his, I don't know, 10 ,000 reviews. Who cares, you idiot? Don't care. Just shut up.

1:57:50PFT Commenter:And Windhorse has never pretended that he was best friends with LeBron.

1:57:53Adam Friedland:Yeah, that's my favorite saying. That's my favorite saint. Yeah, yeah, mine too. I say that all the time. I love Le Cap. Apparently, I've talked to people that cover the NBA, and they say that he reads everything. All the La Fraude, La Bum.

1:58:12Big Cat:I would love to see him on the Adam Friedland show. I would love to. That's my favorite saint. That's my favorite saint. That would be an all-time interview. I would love to have him on.

1:58:22Adam Friedland:Well, I had Blake Griffin on the show. My friend. Yeah, he's the best. It's not fair. That's the boy. It's not fair how funny Blake is.

1:58:27PFT Commenter:It's really. He's funnier than us. The guy who's dunking better than anyone, a professional athlete, made hundreds of million dollars. Oh, and he's funnier. He has better comedic timing than almost all comedians.

1:58:38Adam Friedland:I had to do it because I thought I was never going to find a wife. You're like, 6 '10", why are you funny? Well, you're handsome and funny. Yeah. What's the point of funny? Yeah. Bullshit.

1:58:49PFT Commenter:He's going to get awesome at golf, too. I know that.

1:58:51Adam Friedland:He's going to be nice at golf. Yeah.

1:58:53PFT Commenter:Yeah, he's going to go to the senior tour. Yeah, he's going to just do everything.

1:58:57Adam Friedland:He's going to scratch golfer in like 18 months.

1:58:58PFT Commenter:And also, he does it all, and he's still the nicest guy. So it's like you can't even be mad. If he was a dick with it, you'd be like, oh, fuck him. He's just the nicest guy. He's genuinely the best guy.

1:59:08Adam Friedland:Yes, yes. Why is he nice to me? The best. I don't deserve him being nice to me. I think he thinks you're funny. He's lovely. Yeah. He's a great guy. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, I just, yeah. I really got it. I gave him my theory. we didn't actually I don't know if it was in the episode about MJ LeBron thing because like from what I've heard the whole Stephen A the whole the goat debate he'll never die I think that Stephen A that was the thing is what we watched last year was it was the best because the first time that people weren't talking about Trump it was like it was the first thing that we got to be like oh this is great isn't this great but Stephen A is like yeah and if you touch me like I will have no choice but to give you hands and I'm like it's LeBron James also why are you threatening why are they threatening and why is he saying he doesn't want to be fucking and I'm not friends with Brian Wynhorse it's like what is going on with these people right now it's like these people are falling apart right and if you and I will give you the hell hand I will give you I will have no choice and then But the best part of that whole thing was just like Skip was just tweeting.

2:00:25Adam Friedland:I was so upset. Yeah. He was tweeting for like four years. Oh, he wanted to get noticed so bad. To avoid and like just being ignored. Zero engagement. Another pathetic like buzzer beater for LeBron. Yeah. He's the SpongeBob man. One of the most pathetic losers I've ever seen play in the NBA perhaps. Top 40 perhaps. Maybe top 50 player.

2:00:45PFT Commenter:And you notice Skip too. Like he's been doing, he's, he's basically been pumping up, uh, Bronny. It almost like a slight to LeBron. It's a weird. Yeah. Like being like, he's going to be the next. I don't know. He's lost it, but my, he just wanted attention and Stephen, a got all of it.

2:01:03Adam Friedland:My read of the subtext with his LeBron Stephen, anything is that, is that somewhere in North Carolina, in a big ass house, a gentleman had that they took the damn team away cause he sucked at owning a team and he's a little bit and uh he's i think the power you have as in nba journalism is who you have in your phone and i think mr uh mr stephen a smith i think he's mj's guy yeah and i think that potentially i mean the concept of him drunk in a mansion alone just be like go fuck with him today yeah yeah get him just go fuck with lebron and lebron has guys like for

2:01:42PFT Commenter:20 years for 20 years yeah yeah but for 20 years and now he's gonna be on tv which is gonna be

2:01:47Big Cat:awesome do you think he'll be good i if he needs a buddy he needs somebody that can bring it out

2:01:52PFT Commenter:i was also saying like they should actually lean doesn't have buddies yeah they should lean into it and like make the desk like a blackjack table like because who wouldn't watch like like in between commercial breaks you just need to give him mj's playing blackjack we're gonna go in live he's gonna cry yeah this game's a blowout let's watch mj play a couple hands i don't i wonder how

2:02:11Adam Friedland:I was going to go. You got to watch. I mean, you have to watch that. I hope the hate comes out. What is it? NBC? Yeah. And then, of course, Blake is going to Amazon. Yep. And then Inside the NBA is going to ESPN. You just have to go everywhere to watch games. It's crazy. I mean, it's just like, I don't think there's a funnier show on TV than Inside the NBA. No. It's a perfect show. No, it's the best. It's funnier than Curb. It's the funniest show I've ever seen in my life.

2:02:42PFT Commenter:We got to interview Charles Barkley last month, and I was just smiling ear to ear for like a day after. He's just the best Like everything about him is the best They don't have to talk about basketball

2:02:53Big Cat:They could put inside the NBA

2:02:56Adam Friedland:Chuck fell asleep Chuck was asleep

2:02:57PFT Commenter:I mean just think about some of the They do where they would be like Name what team this guy plays for The league they cover and they would get it wrong Chuck doesn't know how to say Any European person It doesn't care to learn But that's the difference They're drunk when Stephen A. Smith makes a mistake, they'll go into like crisis mode. Like he'll say, you know, someone's on the Chargers who's not on the Chargers, who hasn't been on the Chargers in a year, and then you'll see all these stories like Stephen A. Smith works so hard, no one else works. These guys make a mistake, and they're like, yeah, we fucked that up.

2:03:31PFT Commenter:That's the, you gotta do that. It's barely about the game. Yeah, you gotta do that. You gotta be like, hey, I'm an idiot, I fucked that up. If you try to, if you try to pretend that like, oh no, it's because I've been working so hard, you guys are working me to the bone. It's like, come on.

2:03:44Adam Friedland:I have to imagine like they all actually are concealed carrying while they're on set. Shaq's got a fucking deputies badge. Oh, yeah.

2:03:52Big Cat:I would watch them do the red zone because ESPN's got red zone too in the future. Not this year, right? I think it's like next year. Next year. I would just have them just sit. ESPN got red zone. Yeah. And Charles Barkley loves football. He's kept on saying that to us. Do you appreciate red zone? I do if I can't watch the actual.

2:04:11Adam Friedland:I can't. I can't. It just makes me feel like I'm losing my mind. Well, you know what it is for me from a gambling brain?

2:04:19PFT Commenter:Every time they flip to a game, I'm like, where's the big play? And then it will be like, all right, and that's a five yard out. And you're like, fuck. I thought it was going to be like a pick six or something. Or a touchdown. But yeah, we watch all the games here. So we have all the games, like the actual feeds of the games.

2:04:33Adam Friedland:I knew some guys that like went into like finance, like, you know, but like the 22, 23 year old kids. and they get the first huge big check and they had a huge apartment in the West Village and just too much money for the age we were at. I think I remember they had one thing on the wall and it was a Pulp Fiction poster. Love that. It was still just we were boys. Yeah, yeah. And they used to just do, they just used to on Sunday 1 p.m. kickoff, they'd just start ripping coke watching Red Zone. Yeah, that's too much. And I was like, it was chaos. I went over a couple times and I was like, what are these guys doing?

2:05:10Adam Friedland:and it was can you imagine the sensation of being in the daylight cocaine yeah watching football yeah how many screens is it how many games eight get the octobox yeah it is like it's visual cocaine

2:05:24Big Cat:it's visual cocaine and you're also doing actual cocaine yeah yeah at the same time it's not

2:05:27Adam Friedland:stimulated enough then they have to go like you know like just to to black rock the next day and just uh you know make them a zillion dollars how to figure out how to buy every house in america

2:05:37PFT Commenter:Yeah, how to figure out how to engineer a housing crisis.

2:05:41Adam Friedland:After being hungover from 1 p.m. below. Eight ball and the Jaguars and Titans. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. It was really funny, dude. I used to watch them do that.

2:05:57PFT Commenter:All right, this has been awesome. I got one last question for you. Rowback question, R-H-O-B-A-C-K.com. Promo code TAKE. 20 % off your first purchase. I feel like you guys obviously came back we did a podcast together because it was abrupt a little bit

2:06:20Adam Friedland:Stav was exhausted from the road and he was just like we couldn't and then we had to gang record I think Stav was just burnt out and then he just recorded a special so then he took some time off we kept doing the show I mean the point is that at a certain point You're not a baby anymore You want to stop doing podcasts Where it's like what if What if Tom Brady was Chinese or something And it would go a little bit something like this The tuck rule would be called The fucking Chinese rule At a certain point We're like exhausted You want to do other things For me personally when I got to Start doing the talk show It was like a new thing and it put wind in my sails.

2:07:04Adam Friedland:I was like, oh, this is something I want to work on. And then I think Nick's now working on things himself. And I think it's at a certain point, it's like you're like, I don't know, I'm 38 years old now. Yeah. I'm a middle-aged man now.

2:07:18PFT Commenter:Is it so weird, I assume, people still come up to you on the street and call you a bug? Oh, yeah.

2:07:22Adam Friedland:It'll be the rest of my life.

2:07:23PFT Commenter:A bug? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I remember when that all unfolded. Dude, I found out. And I was like, shit, he's screwed. They got him on the bug thing. Yeah, I don't care, dude. I really don't care.

2:07:31Adam Friedland:I'm so lucky I can't do any of this crap I mean like this is a really sad story but it's I got a call from my dad I was in Union Square I got a call from my dad and he said your mom had an MRI and she's got a brain tumor that's expanding we knew she had cancer and he said it's now aggressively growing and I said to my dad I was like in public in Union Square I started crying I said dad you know I just want to let you know you're taking incredible care of her and like you're my hero even if I've we've said some terrible things to each other during arguments and then I literally someone behind me was like yo Adam you're a fucking bug and like in the middle and I turned around and I had tears in my eyes and he was like oh sorry and like I I imagined this guy was like thought that I was that I was like calling my dad and Bill's like, yo, I got like Nick and Stomp burned me extra hard this week.

2:08:35Adam Friedland:It's just like that. He thought I was crying. Like, yeah, it was like, it's hilarious. I don't know. I mean, it's, it's, it's weird, but what do you mean? Like, it's, uh, it's funny. I mean, I've been, you know, I really don't care about, you know, if my friends like the talk show, I like work really hard on it. I kind of have guys do the internet for me. Yeah. These days, like post for me. Yeah. I don't like really care. What the fuck? I think because I was the bug on Comptown, I think I was just a fucking gay Jewish bug. I think I kind of processed the internet a while back, and now it's just a little bit like, oh yeah, I have a career.

2:09:17Adam Friedland:Now I get to do this talk show thing. I don't deserve any of this shit. I'm incredibly fortunate. That's awesome. I was an incredibly lazy person. but now that I like have an opportunity to do something different and cool you know I don't want to blow it I don't want to blow that opportunity I want to work really hard

2:09:36Big Cat:you said that you were lazy but it was still like it was a great podcast but I don't think it was like

2:09:41Adam Friedland:I would knock out three movies a day I wasn't like working hard like stop was like doing the road still I think I was like paying my rent and like I wasn't broke anymore so I just blew my ambition and at a certain point you're like no there's i gotta fucking i'm like i gotta like i'm gonna die one day like i'm gonna do something with my life so you have like an actual schedule now like oh my god i have a staff i have like yeah i have like you know when i the research wise i have like you know if it's a more substantive guess i have like a journalist that does research back wow work with him like yeah yeah no i mean i like i'm like uh investing myself into this um yeah and I was just like you know it it does feel like uh like you know I'm like uh I I think when you're lazy for so long you're like uh yeah I'm not capable of it hey it's good it's made me feel pretty happy yeah I could do it and I but I like I'm I still I'm not good yet like I want to get

2:10:41PFT Commenter:better at interviews and you are good yeah you are well yeah I want to get better at it yeah

2:10:46Big Cat:got the the most unique style and I do think it does disarm the guests a little bit where they They want to rescue you sometimes.

2:10:54Adam Friedland:I kind of feel like an alien, I think, to some guests. And then them making sense of me, I think, is kind of an advantage. Yeah. Yeah.

2:11:01PFT Commenter:It's great. Everyone should check it out. I appreciate it, guys. Check out the Adam for the show. It was awesome having me here.

2:11:05Adam Friedland:You guys are the best, too. I love this show, you guys, and I appreciate it coming on.

2:11:10PFT Commenter:Anytime you're in town, you're welcome to come on. I love it.

2:11:13Adam Friedland:I'm going to go to O Block after this. Okay. I'm going to go down. I'm going to tap in at O Block. I heard they got love for me down there. They do. They do. Yeah. Thanks, boy.

2:12:17PFT Commenter:Okay, let's wrap up. Guys on camp. Also, by the way, our good friends, John Feidelberg, Tommy Smokes, Little Sass, Nick, KB, they made a show. It's awesome. Go watch it on the Out of Order YouTube. Proud of the voice. It's called Lay Mascots. And yeah, they made a TV show. It's fucking sick. So go watch it, please. Yes. Okay, Hank. Hey, Big Canopy. Oh. Pitch in free tents.

2:12:48Big Cat:Oh. Hang K. And the booth boys. Are they talking about boners?

2:12:57PFT Commenter:Yeah, I guess so.

2:12:58Big Cat:No, I think they're talking about actual tents.

2:13:00PFT Commenter:Oh, yeah, yeah. No, it's the guys on camp. Oh, okay.

2:13:03Big Cat:Wow, bonk. Well, I mean, what was yours, Hank? Hang K. Like hang. Like your home? Like hang. Okay, got it, got it. Well, thank you. On your training camp visits during Grit Week, did you ever experience the NFL players' union poll questions, and did they make sense? For example, pre-Josh Harris weight rooms were smaller than high school locker rooms, food, etc. Thanks for all that you do. The Commanders upgraded this year. Well, Commanders was tough. We went to the Ravens. Greatest facility I've ever seen.

2:13:29PFT Commenter:Which, by the way, I think they had a bad rating like a few years ago. And he basically was like, fuck this, I'm changing it. Because remember they had the new pools just put in?

2:13:40Big Cat:The pools, it was unbelievable. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. But then we went to the Commanders the next day. Kind of like a rinky-dink operation. But they had a new locker room, which was nice. Their new locker room was very nice. Rinky-dink? Compared to the Ravens? Their locker room was sick. It's a great locker room. The new locker room was nice.

2:13:59PFT Commenter:The Ravens did win us over with their pools.

2:14:01Big Cat:Yeah, and teams do take into account the NFLPA thing. I think the commanders a couple years ago, they got an F - for treatment of families. And I did notice that Casey Anthony is now banned from the facility. So they take active steps to correct these issues. Hank, should we do this? Player's pool?

2:14:21PFT Commenter:Yeah, bar's pool. Sure. Publish the results. And just throw in the trash? I mean, I wonder what it would be, though. Like, what would the facilities, like... Ice cream. Ice cream not... It's too soupy? Ice cream's been pretty good recently. Ice cream has been good, Zach. It's been... That's good. Is it having a moment? It is having a moment. I don't know what... It's getting better. What would be the, like, facilities complaint?

2:14:44Big Cat:is there one uh the the leaky roof yeah that's getting fixed uh jerry parking in the handicapped

2:14:50PFT Commenter:spot that's not getting fixed what parking parking that's definitely not getting fixed

2:14:57Big Cat:jack mccarthy parking in the cars.com spot lack of a batting cage lack of a batting cage is a good one i can't do anything but i actually i actually had a conversation about that i love that i love

2:15:08PFT Commenter:that i i appreciate the effort yes i've been i've been making there's i had a conversation that was going to cost a lot of money and then at the end of the conversation the person who i was talking to was like what why and i was like batting cage it was just yeah there are some upgrades we could

2:15:26Big Cat:make for sure yeah the they disassembled the flight simulator oh they did yeah why didn't they put it in the the interns took over the flight simulator mood yeah okay yeah yeah so we put it back up goes back up because then page was like do you want to take this home and then And I'm thinking I might just take the flight simulator home and put that. Now that becomes my desk. Why wouldn't you? Yeah. That's the only reason we have it. No. A lot of people. You did one stream. A lot of people play on the flight simulator. How many? So many. So many people. It's everyone. How many times did you play on the flight simulator?

2:16:03Big Cat:Everyone likes planes. If I had it in my own house.

2:16:07PFT Commenter:So if we did the NFLPA poll at Barstool, one of the things would be like, pft doesn't play with his simulator no yeah well hank i work a lot okay and then and then guess

2:16:18Big Cat:what i had to do i had to stop i had to curtail some of my extracurricular activities such as flight simulator to work on my golf game the golf simulator yeah so i yeah trade one for the other now i'm back in the skies okay fair enough all right uh every summer five of my friends from college and myself go on a camping trip we go to a different national park every year can you Please help us choosing the national park we should go to for our next trip. For example, on past trips, we've gone Denali, Mount Rainier, Glacier, and Banff. What national park should we go camping at next? Thanks, guys.

2:16:52Big Cat:Fuck the backers. Gotta go Yellowstone. Yellowstone. I had a debate because I was trying to figure out if I was going to go to Yellowstone or if I was going to go to Glacier. And I ended up settling on Yellowstone, but then I fucked my back up, so I couldn't go to Yellowstone. But Yellowstone, if you like animals, I'm told that's the place to go.

2:17:09PFT Commenter:That is a place. Another one, sneaky one that's really good, Badlands. Yeah. Badlands is sick. The rocks just look cool.

2:17:17Big Cat:What's the one in Utah? I think that's Badlands. That's Badlands. I think they've got a few. Arches. I'm thinking about Arches. Where is Badlands? New Mexico, maybe? Is Crater Lake a national park? Crater Lake is, I think. Yeah, in Oregon. When I was playing baseball on the West Coast, we drove by and we stopped at Crater Lake and it felt like it wasn't on Earth.

2:17:34PFT Commenter:Wait, I was wrong. Badlands is in South Dakota. What is the one? National Parks.

2:17:40Big Cat:Arches and then they got like the Salt Flats in Utah, which I want to go to both of those. I've never been to Badlands.

2:17:49PFT Commenter:I need to correct myself.

2:17:51Big Cat:I would also go back to the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon is really cool. Arches is what I've been to. Yeah, Arches. So we were on the same wavelength. Arches is awesome. I'm told it's awesome. I've been to that one. And Zion.

2:18:01PFT Commenter:Zion's also sick. That's Utah as well. That's like big rivers and big rocks.

2:18:05Big Cat:rocks just big when you think zion think really really really crazy big yeah uh yeah i would say yosemite too yeah i've been there yosemite's awesome yosemite's in california yeah or yosemite that's what yeah yeah i've been to yellowstone and arch has never been i gotta go to badlands that was all time shout out teddy roosevelt yeah um i i these camp guys on camp questions rock Zach, is camping in a video game ever okay?

2:18:39PFT Commenter:Great question. Sometimes when you're trying to get these camo challenges knocked out. No, come on. I'm not saying it's okay or I don't condone it. I'm just saying. Oh, you're trying to protect a streak. I understand doing it if you need like 100 more headshots to get like booted.

2:18:53Big Cat:It's where you find a spot and you just kind of hide out there. Oh, I think that's awesome. Yeah, it's great.

2:18:57PFT Commenter:You find a good spot where you can kill everyone? It's really good. Yeah. What else? I think everything's okay in moderation. I just don't think it's like, you can't make a habit of it. You got to get in the mix. If we're trying to get some achievements unlocked, you know, five, ten minutes.

2:19:12Big Cat:I understand that if you're like trying to level up a gun or like get, I've never been a camo challenge guy, but in a game. Like, what do you say? What do you say if you walk into a room and you just get killed by a corner camper? You're not a happy camper. Yeah, no, it's not okay. It's part of the game.

2:19:27PFT Commenter:In that example, not okay. Not cool.

2:19:29Big Cat:So remember when Hank, for the longest time, could not get a win in Call of Duty? Yeah. The Warzone?

2:19:35PFT Commenter:Yeah.

2:19:36Big Cat:And I got like four wins after playing it for a week. It was great. Because Hank is almost too mobile. His ADD is so bad that he won't even like, I'm not even saying camp, he won't like stay in the same, like two buildings for longer than 30 seconds. Why, why? But when I got my four wins, they were almost exclusively because I found this one room on the top floor of this one building. I would just go in there and just not move. And I would just stand in there with an automatic shotgun, with a mine that was attached to the door, waiting for somebody to open the door. I'd blast them four times. And then all you'd hear on the death comp is like, you motherfucker, you little pussy.

2:20:13Big Cat:It was great. It was great. I ended up winning. If you play a games of war zone, 45 minutes without leaving like one. Love that. Also, because you had a little sniper position, you can maybe pick somebody off on the roof from that same room. You should be. So you just go to the roof. then you go back to the door and wait then you go to the roof then you go back to the door and wait it was great that's that's terrible did you not cool not cool all right and then last one hey guys love the show my camp question is is it ever appropriate to camp out in front of a store restaurant ticket booth etc to ensure you get a highly sought after product for example zach may have camped out to ensure he gets the new xbox maybe max waited hours at a new fast food location to get free food for a year.

2:20:54Big Cat:Does the item being obtained matter? Do you draw the line at bringing a tent? Is it all just a no-go? We're talking like the store opens at 7 a.m., but people start lining up at 5 p.m. the day before. Have you seen Bethpage?

2:21:05PFT Commenter:No, it's crazy.

2:21:07Big Cat:It's like two and a half days now.

2:21:09PFT Commenter:I think tickets, it's... All right, so I've done it for tickets, for student tickets at Wisconsin. If you do it, you have to do it the fun way. You got to get an actual tent and do it with your friends. and it's just fun uh if you're doing it like sitting in a chair outside of like a best buy

2:21:28Big Cat:i don't know yeah i also feel like the internet has kind of taken a lot of that away so we used to have to camp out to get tickets for hf festival back in the day which you could only get it like tower records or sam goody and so you'd go sleep out there and then you buy now you just like get

2:21:42PFT Commenter:them online yeah so you don't have to worry about that i remember camping out for uh i didn't do it but I remember the lines and like some of my friends doing it for, for the Xbox 360.

2:21:51Big Cat:Yeah. I did it one time for, I think what was the PlayStation that came out in like 2005, 2006 to PS2. Yeah. I camped out for a PS2 because I was going to get it. Then I was going to sell it online because I had spent all my money at college. I need some money for Christmas. So I camped out, bought it, spent every last cent that I had buying it. And then I put it for sale on eBay. And I think I made like five or$10 off it. That's good money. But I thought that I had figured out the economy.

2:22:18PFT Commenter:Hey, little tip for you. You do that 10 million times, that's 50 million bucks.

2:22:21Big Cat:That's right. Hey, you can't go broke taking a profit, right?

2:22:24PFT Commenter:You sell a soda can to every single person in China for$1. You're a billionaire. That's a great point. That's a great point. That's one of those. We should do the Mount Rushmore things that someone told you and you thought were really smart. And then you grew up and you're like, well, that was fucking stupid.

2:22:40Big Cat:The Mount Rushmore things that Gary Vee would say.

2:22:44PFT Commenter:Yeah, right. And then people are going to buy and be like, oh, shit. Yeah, he's right. He's right.

2:22:49Big Cat:He's so right. I found a market inefficiency.

2:22:52PFT Commenter:Kill your whole family every morning. Okay. What was the question? Oh, camping out. Have you camped out? Yeah. I used to camp out. Grew up like sneakers and stuff like that. Oh, okay. Well, different in Florida. Not bad weather. Not bad weather, no. Yeah, you can camp out forever in Florida. What sneakers? different phone pauses as a kid Orlando Mall Galaxy phone pauses that one ended bad but that was the one that came to mind there was a shooting situation your camp out? at the camp out with Zach anything's on him did you shoot someone? no not at all that was just the first one that popped in my head because that would be very Zach there was a shooting situation he's like well I had to shoot someone

2:23:39Big Cat:as a Florida man have you ever owned a gun? No, not in on weapons. I'm not on weapons. Did you ever think about it? Also, no. Okay. If I get robbed, I just take my stuff. Sorry, sir. Just let him have it. Yeah, this guy brings up a pretty good point. He should have my shoes.

2:23:57PFT Commenter:Yep. My phone posits. So did you get him? No, no. You left after the shooting? Didn't get him. After the shooting? I wasn't there when that happened. That happened later. Okay, got it. Got it, got it, got it. Okay, good show, boys. Camp Barstool. Tune in to all of our stuff For the rest of the week It's going to be awesome Team Max vs Team Dana
