In short
NFL Week 2 recap and analysis, focusing on major upsets, quarterback injuries, and standout performances, plus “Who’s Back of the Week.”
Guest backgrounds
The transcript is from Pardon My Take (PMT) with hosts Barstool Sports personalities. It references “PFT” and “Max” and “Hank” and “Teej/Boom” as co-hosts/regulars, but it does not give biographical details (no career history, teams, or credentials beyond their roles as hosts).
Key claims
- Caleb Williams’ injury in Vikings-Bears is a non-contact hamstring concern (initial fear was Achilles/ankle), and the hosts expect a multi-week absence but not season-ending damage.
- The Bears played one of their worst games in a long time: penalties, miscommunications, poor execution, and a red-zone failure (Bears 9 points, Vikings defense controlling).
- The Vikings’ defense and Brian Flores’ aggressive scheme were dominant; Carson Wentz “played clean” after one early mistake.
- Tyler Shuck and the Saints are legit: New Orleans beat the Ravens 24-17 with a strong fourth quarter and heavy Shuck production.
- The Bengals’ defense is “for real,” holding the Texans to 6 points and dominating third/fourth downs.
- The Chargers are “rock bottom” after losing to the Raiders 26-14.
- The Jets’ loss to the Packers is framed as coaching/decision-making failure (timeouts/OT choices).
Notable examples (games/results mentioned)
- Vikings 9, Bears 3 (Caleb Williams exits; Vikings defense: turnovers, QB hits, pass breakups)
- Raiders 26, Chargers 14 (Justin Herbert interceptions)
- Packers 20, Jets 17 (Jets’ punt return sets up late FG; Packers win in OT)
- Patriots 20, Steelers 3 (39-yard TD run by Henderson)
- Saints 24, Ravens 17 (Tyler Shuck; Saints go for it on goal line in 4th)
- Eagles 24, Titans 20 (late TD by Darius Rucker Cooper)
- Browns 23, Buccaneers 19 (Deshaun Watson TDs; Cleveland first win)
- Broncos 20, Jaguars 13 (Bo Nix struggles early, improves after halftime)
- Cowboys 37, Commanders 20 (CD Lamb early TD; Caleb Downs/defense impact)

On today's part of my take, presented by DraftKings, NFL Week 2. It was quite a day. We had some insane upsets. We had some injuries. We're going to get to it all. I'm sure the sickos and perverts are loving that this show is out right now, PFT. Really enjoying it, yeah. They're lining up.
1:26PFT Commenter:Actually, we can't do a podcast because it's HIPAA. Yeah. Illegal to share this stuff with you guys. Listen, we'll get to all of it, but the one thing that I could say that could maybe cheer us up a little bit is that both our quarterbacks got hurt. We don't know the full extent to both their injuries and how long they'll be out, but neither of our teams lost to the Cleveland Browns and to Sean Watson. That's very true. So Zach, in a weird way, that could be considered worse than anything else that happened on Sunday. There's pain all the way around. There's pain all the way around. We're going to do fastest two minutes.

3:37PFT Commenter:Welcome to Part of My Take presented by DraftKings. The crown is yours. Today is Monday, September 21st, week two in the NFL.
3:54PFT Commenter:We start in Chicago, where, as my good friend Paul Simon once said, slip sliding away. The nearer the end zone, the more you slip sliding away. As the Vikings and Bears never found paid dirt on Sunday, The Vikings defense made a floor reservation in the Bears' backfield all afternoon as Debbie Does Dallas Turner kept on fucking the Bears' offensive line to the tune of two sack lunches. The scoring was the opposite of a blitzkrieg as Will Third-Reichard led the game with three field goals and nine points. Not being able to Johnny Cash in the end zone had Bears fans saying they hurt themselves today to see if they could still feel.
4:38PFT Commenter:After Caleb Williams went down in the fourth and was carted off the field, Sports are dumb anyway, right, Teej? Very dumb, Boom. Vikings 9, Bears 3. Whoop! Whoop! We're going to Los Angeles where the Raiders are in town to play the Chargers. And Justin Herbert Hoover had his fans in a great depression, screaming, Damn! Kirkland Signatures Cousins get a bulk discount on touchdowns while Trey Tucker Carlson helped the Raiders move in the right direction. Meanwhile, the Chargers are smashing the widespread panic button because Herbert's putting the INT in mincing, and his Ole Miss might be tiring him out too much to want to do what he's celebrating.
5:23PFT Commenter:And McCoby-Deen said, Good night. Sleep tight. Don't let the bedbugs bite. The Raiders. 26, the Chargers 14. we now head to a soggy Meadowlands where Memes was on the scene for the Jets and Packers. In soggy MetLife, Marshawn Mendes-Lloyd can treat you better than Josh Jacobs can as he scores the first touchdown of the game. We skip immediately to the fourth quarter. Jets leading 17-14. The Jets would dread, punting it to Sky Bree Moore as he returned it inside the 20 to set up the game-time field goal. Frank III called a shotgun run on fourth and one for Braylon Allen and the Chipmunks just to get stuffed.
6:08Aaron Glenny Balls must have hurt himself eating too much pussy in Nashville last week because he forgot how to call timeouts and how overtime rules work. In overtime, Luke getting the white Van Ness and the Packers defense gets a sack. They get the ball back to Jordan. Jordan Hudson loves Bill Belichick's big old titties to lead to Trey Smack that all on the floor to kick the game-winning field goal to end the game.
6:32PFT Commenter:Packers 20, Jets 17. Thanks, beam. We go to Foxborough where Hank is there for Steelers Patriots. In Foxborough, Trey Theon Greyjoy Henderson seemed to get tackled after a five-yard gain. But said, what is dead may never die. As he broke a tackle, bounced outright and scampered in for a 39-yard touchdown. Fount to Siona, Sir Gerence O 'Connor was seen fist pumping and dry humping in the box. King of the Northern Lights And an Aurora Burrard Boregalis Knocked in two field goals And Aaron Sir Rodrick Castle Dropped back before getting beheaded And fumbled Scooped up by Elijah Wood Ponda Who ran through the fields of mortar On the way to seal the score And seal the game Fuck House New England wins 20-3 Dykes Hank In Baltimore for the Ravens home opener and a belief that new head coach Jesse U.S.
7:30PFT Commenter:Minter would continue to control every quarter. And it was going that way early as Derek Henry Kissinger bombed his way into the end zone for an early score and Lamar found Rashad Tate Mann, who looked like he had been working with the special needs all weekend with how open he got. But Baltimore forgot that it's not a matter of if, but when everyone gets shucked over as the QB was in sync with Chris Kirkpatrick-Olave in the second half as the duo continually tore up the Baltimore hearts and defense. The game came down to the end, but it was Byler Shuck who came out and scored both ways with his arms and legs, handing the Ravens their first L.
8:09PFT Commenter:GBTQ+. The Saints go marching 24, Ravens 17. We now go to Nashville where Glutty Balls is eating all that pussy with Max. Hey, hey, save some pussy for the rest of us, Glennie. God, I can't get over Glennie. We head over to Nashville where Cam Margero-Ward said, Hey, I'm Cam, and I feel like kicking Phil E's ass today and gave the Titans an early lead after a terrible Jalen Hurts goal line pick. But after a Saquon injury, Frank the Tank Bigsby stepped in and scored in spite of an incompetent offensive line. Jeffrey Dahmer Simmons was charged with multiple counts of murder towards the Eagles O-line and calls Jalen Hurts' second interception that set up Joey Cry Eagles Cry for a potential game-winning field goal.
8:59But with tears in the stands for all the Eagles fans in town visiting Music City, Darius Rucker Cooper said, It's all right, all right, I got all we need. It's all right, we're up three. As he snuck inside the back of the end zone to put the Eagles up for good. Eagles 24, Titans 20.
9:22PFT Commenter:Thanks, Max. We now head down to Tampa where there was a hell of a rain delay in Zach. In Tampa, Chevy Chase McLaughlin goes all Sunday afternoon live from 59 yards out, splitting the uprights for three points and a Tampa Bay lead. As the kicker on kicker crime continues, Andre the Giant Smythe answers with a kick from the top rope 50 yards out. Oh, brother, kick is good. To the second half, Deshaun Watson and Watson reminds the Browns fans He is for the people with a pass to Zinzel on a train back to Boston, placing it right over his stellar lefty shoulder for a touchdown, sticking it to the Bucs for the first time this season.
9:58PFT Commenter:Deshaun White Watson isn't done yet. He double McTwist the ball to shake. And Blake Whitehart, who shouts, help me, Jesus. Help me, Jewish God. Help me, Allah. Help me, Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise, use your witchcraft on me to score this touchdown. It worked. Touchdown, Browns. Cleveland 23, Tampa Bay 19. Thanks, Zach. out in mile high where the Jaguars picked up where they left off to start the game as Bashul Tutankhamen scored in the first half, having Broncos fans calling for their mummy. Bo Nix struggled early again, throwing a terrible interception to Jordan is better than LeBron Lewis, and the Broncos were in a dark place heading into halftime.
10:36PFT Commenter:It looked like Sean Payton Manning checked to an audible at halftime and put his nuts on the training table because Denver came out a different team in the second half. With Bo, price of the Knicks just went up, taking over the game and letting everyone in the AFC West know that Bomar's coming. That one was bad, Teej. It was Jonah Zendaya Coleman who said, what are we doing to his Broncos teammates after scoring the go-ahead touchdown and putting an end to the drama? Liam Cohn brothers found out there is still a country for old men like Coach Payton, and that's Bronco country. Let's ride. Broncos 20, Jaguars 13.
11:14PFT Commenter:We finish in the Big D, where a commie sought to interrupt all the big parade plans once again. An early on CD lamb chop skipped into the end zone, leaving Commander's fans singing the song that never ends. Yes, it goes on and on, my friends. The commies started singing it, not knowing what it was, and they'll keep singing it forever because their quarters suck. As he ate up Mikey's stand reel still, yet again, early for a touchdown. The commanders fought back behind Jaden Daniel Day-Lewis, taking a 3-10 to, you must put your elbow back in its socket again, leaving commanders fans to scream, look what they did to my boy.
11:53They massacred my boy. Blake Gyllenhaal Ferguson climbed Brokedack Mountain twice with his hands firmly grasping Prescott's balls at the end zone. Meanwhile, Brian shot, shot, shot, shot, shot, shot, shot in Heimer, turned Caleb Downs for what? Coming with you play after play as Terry McLaurin Hill got killed softly over and over again. Everything hurts and everything sucks.
12:20PFT Commenter:Dallas 37, commies 20. And that was week two in the NFL. Fastest two minutes. I like that you used Johnny Cash as well. Fastest two minutes, football season. It's brought to you by Chevy. Football season is here. and whether you're grinding through the week or gearing up for kickoff, there's one ride that's always game ready. It's the Chevy Silverado. There's a reason Chevy's called the heartbeat of America, and Silverado keeps that heartbeat strong. Whether you're towing, hauling, or tailgating, Silverado lets you show up strong and tackle any task with best-in-class standard torque, the most functional bed, and the advanced tech that's football guy approved.
12:58PFT Commenter:Check out current offers on the 2026 Silverado at Chevy.com. Okay, week two in the books. We've got Chiefs, Colts, second half, which we'll get to at the end. That was different than week one, I would say, PFT. Well, I mean, right off the bat, let's just address the elephant in the room, why people are listening to this show. The Philadelphia Waterdogs are world champions in the PLL. Yes, did it again. We did it again. We did it again. Bastos in sports. I was locked in on lacrosse. Me and Big Cat locked in on lacrosse today. There was maybe you guys can tell me what happened in the NFL. Yeah. PFT and I, I think I said to PFT, hey, it's 11 to four water dogs with four minutes left in the third quarter.
13:44PFT Commenter:And then PFT, like 15 minutes later, was like, hey, it's 12 to four water dogs with like eight minutes left in the fourth quarter. That was and we did it. Well, we did it. We loved it so much. I announced to the cave. We are world champions. The PLL is once again ours. And then like 25 minutes later, Big Cowboy was like, hey, the Waterdogs won the PLL. Yeah, we did it. So we got to celebrate twice today. Double. That's how much it hit me. It finally hit me. Best owners in sports. Yeah, it was great. 14 to 4. Suck my dick, Denver. All right. No, people are listening for two games specifically. We'll bookend them.
14:18PFT Commenter:Because we obviously go in chronological order. So we'll start with the Vikings and Bears. And then we'll end with the Commanders and Cowboys. Vikings 9, Bears 3. So the big story, obviously, is Caleb Williams getting hurt. I don't know what extent. The injury extent has gone from like when he first went down, it was like, oh, my God, he just tore his Achilles because we were all watching it together. And at first it looked like he maybe got like swiped and that was maybe an ankle sprain. But then when they showed the replay, it's like, nope, he didn't get touched. So it's non-contact, which is obviously the two worst words you can have when it comes to an injury.
14:58PFT Commenter:So initially I was like ankle or Achilles. Now it seems like hamstring. The extent of the hamstring, we don't know. He was walking without a boot in the locker room with a limp. I don't know. It sucked, but it's so weird to watch an injury like that and be like, okay, it's just a hamstring. You know what I mean? Right. Thankfully, just a hamstring. Yeah, you have the worst in your mind, and then when it gets upgraded to just a hamstring, you're like, okay, we can handle a hamstring. The nice thing about a hamstring is it will not affect anything outside of the self-contained season. Yeah, I'm assuming he's going to be out for four to six weeks.
15:34PFT Commenter:That's my mental assumption that I've braced myself with. Anything more, obviously, it will suck a lot, but it also doesn't suck as bad as an Achilles, where Achilles, you're thinking he might not be the same player again. As for this game, the Bears were dog shit. Absolutely. One of the worst games, well, actually the worst game since like the first two weeks of last season that Ben Johnson has coached for the Bears. They were just bad all around. Penalties, offensive line miscommunication. Caleb didn't look sharp. The weather, obviously a factor, but you can't blame it all on the weather because it was just like a joke of an operation through and through.
16:14PFT Commenter:Guys dropping balls, guys missing blocks. just a really really bad game fumble at the goal line I actually think and this is going to sound like people are going to be like oh you're coping here if Caleb doesn't get hurt the Bears might win that game because I do think he would have scored on that play but still they didn't deserve to win that game because they played awful and the Vikings defense did a lot more and Brian Flores is an absolute maniac and blitzed the fuck out of the Bears and kind of right now like through three games I think the Bears are 1-2 against Brian. Ben Johnson is 1-2 as a head coach against Brian Flores, but Brian Flores has gotten the better of the Bears' offense when he goes up against them.
16:55PFT Commenter:And it was just the Vikings' defense had two turnovers, 10 QB hits, seven pass breakups. They were everywhere. Carson Wentz did just enough. He threw one should-have-been-Carson-Wentz-what-the-fuck-are-you-doing pass in the first quarter that Devin Bush just couldn't hold on to. And then after that, he played clean football. And it's like, the Vikings were the better team. And you can't, like, obviously the game shifted at the end where it's like, I hope Caleb's okay. But it shouldn't minimize the fact that if you were looking for cold water for this Bears season, it just got dumped on us. Because whatever happened last week was incredible.
17:34PFT Commenter:And it was totally different this week. So hopefully it's a motivator. Because it's a week-to-week league. And I'm not like, oh, my God, the Bears are in big trouble outside of the injury. this was a bad game. A really bad game. Really disappointing. The silver lining is the Bears are still averaging over 30 points a game. Yes, that's true. Which is pretty crazy. That's true. You had a big three today. The Vikings, they become the first team in NFL history to win four straight games with four starting quarterbacks. Four different starting quarterbacks. So it goes back to Brosmer, nine, Kyler Murray, Carson Wentz.
18:11Damn. No team has ever done that in the history of the league. That is maybe the best stat that KOC could ever come up for himself, even how he likes to deal with his quarterbacks. That's kind of cool that they were able to do this. This had nothing to do with the quarterback, obviously, the way that they wanted it. It was more about – Nope. I would say it's more about the elements and more about Brian Flores being a mad scientist. I will say, though – Like, you're kind of a pervert. We're even honest. Brian Flores is kind of a pervert.
18:36PFT Commenter:Yeah, he is. But we joke about Carson Wentz. Carson Wentz played to the weather and the situation where it's like, this is going to be a low-scoring game. Don't give the other team a really bad turnover in an inopportune time. And he didn't. He played clean like that. And the turnover, the Bears had 14 plays in the red zone. The Vikings had one. And the Bears lost 9-3. That's just disgusting. Yeah, it was a gross game. It was just a disgusting game to watch. It was a classic gross game. It was not pleasant to watch. I'm glad that Caleb's not badly hurt. Can I tell you my experience with the hamstring?
19:15Sure. So an elite athlete such as myself, I had the grade two slash grade three back when we went down to see Belichick.
19:23PFT Commenter:I also had that injury last year, but yes. You had the grade two? Yeah, the grade two, yeah. Okay, so I then tried to kick a field goal about four weeks later. Did not work at LSU. Mine was about eight weeks until I could jog. With no rehab. But mine was, you know, my rehab was kind of like. You got into stretching. It was yoga for like a week. How much physical therapy did you do? I Googled hamstring stretches a couple times, actually. I did do some stretches, I'd say, three times. Yeah, when I did it last year, I did one week of physical therapy, and I was like, okay, I got it. I got the gist.
20:00Yeah, I get it. I get it. Now, I still have a ball of muscle that I can feel behind my left hamstring. So you don't want that from Caleb. You want him to actually take it seriously. He'll be fine. I think he'll be okay long-term. It was scary more than anything.
20:13PFT Commenter:Yeah, it was scary. And also, it sucks because, I mean, hamstring is one of those injuries. You don't want it to become something more where it's like, I mean, you think of like Tyrese Halliburton or someone, you know, like where you get a hamstring injury, you could rush back, then you get hurt more. So I think they have to be very cautious about it. You hope that Tyson Bajan can tread water. but more than anything I was just like if Caleb doesn't get injured in this game I still would be like that was just a horrendous Bears football game like one of the worst in like I said over a year and all the good vibes they're not going away I still believe in this team I obviously believe in Ben Johnson that's not changing over one game but he's going to hopefully be able to use this to be like hey we aren't shit right now Could be a good thing.
21:01PFT Commenter:Like, we're not good. Like, that was a bad game. Eight penalties, 58 yards. We had a couple times where just penalties over and over. Bradbury at center is a problem. Like, the Drew Dahlman retiring situation is, like, that's starting to feel like, ooh, this might not be the same exact offensive line. DeAndre Swift's fumble, which that just sucked at the one-yard line. It just was a game that you want to forget for many, many reasons. And the Bears playing, like, crap was a big part of that. Yeah. How are you feeling now on the idea of building a dome? Because I watched this game. And if you've watched the Bears for a long time, you probably have a different perspective than if you have only really paid closer to the Bears recently.
21:42Yeah. But the Bears recently, yes, there's bare weather. And in the playoffs, they used the weather to their advantage. But for the most part, it's been a bare weather city, but they just lose a lot of ugly games. Right.
21:56PFT Commenter:Well, it's always, yeah, it's been the defenses. You can win those games with defense. We don't have the defense this year. Right. I don't. Listen, they've decided they need a new stadium. I wish they wouldn't go to move out of Soldier Field. Yeah, Dome would have fixed today. It was a gross game. It was clearly like you just couldn't. And I don't know where Colson Loveland is. I love Colson Loveland. He is not. We haven't seen him through two games. And this is supposed to be like his breakout year where, you know, He was the best position player for the Bears last year. Slow start last year, though.
22:29PFT Commenter:Yeah, true. But you'd hope you hit the ground running. I don't know. This game, I don't know how much you can take away from offense. The offense just wasn't ever going to get started for either team this game. But it's less about the weather. It's more the penalties, the forced errors, the bad blocking. It was ugly. It looked like a team that maybe was feeling themselves a little bit. off of one week. That's what I'm saying. This might be a good thing. Like Ben Johnson. Oh, he's going to fucking kill him. Coaches kind of love this shit. Yeah. Like going out there laying an absolute egg after you look like world beaters in week one.
23:08They secretly get off to that type of stuff.
23:10PFT Commenter:And like it was a double gut punch because it was the Caleb injury. But then it's like the Bears had a chance to win this game with Tyson Bajan at the end. And that was such a winnable game. And the DeAndre Swift fumbled. You keep going back to that in my head. and like I said Caleb getting hurt on that play I think he scores a touchdown there if he doesn't get hurt because that's usually right where he would score a touchdown and be faster than everyone uh but I tip my cap to Brian Flores he's a fucking maniac I do have one uh weird like are these guys just secretly linked forever uh situation with Alex Bregman which I could have use for my who's back because so Bregman wow so if you remember uh when Bregman signed with the Cubs it was in the middle of the Packers Bears playoff game so like happened I was in the stands and it's like Caleb made that fourth and eighth row and it's like oh shit like we get the alert from Jeff Passon Bregman signs with the Cubs so it's like the vibes couldn't be higher today Caleb gets hurt and Bregman gets hit with a ball while in the on-deck circle looks like he broke I mean, he can't see out of his eye.
Read the full transcript
24:17PFT Commenter:Couldn't be worse, the fact that both those guys get hurt at the exact same time, and Bregman gets hurt seven days before the playoffs start. It was a bad day. It was a bad day. It was a bad day overall. That's a hell of an injury. Yeah, it's disgusting. Really bad. Can you see the stitch from the baseball on there? I don't know. But it's just like, and Bregman's the man, and he has been the second best player for the Cubs since the All-Star break. He's been absolutely incredible. Also, the clips of him and the boys when they won the horse race. All time. The vibes could have been better. All time.
24:50PFT Commenter:Right. So, yeah. What were you going to say, Hank? The way Caleb Williams came off the field, it looked like he might have been crying when he was on the cart. The way it was no contact. Your mood has changed considerably since that happened because it seems like the way he was walking in the locker room, it seems like he's going to be fine, which is crazy because just the way he was, you know, he was like blocking the tears from coming down his eyes. He couldn't walk. I thought he was, I thought he tore his Achilles. Yeah. I thought he tore his Achilles. So yes, it has changed. I didn't talk in the cave for about an hour there.
25:24PFT Commenter:And then as slowly the things started trickling in where it was like, hey, he's walking. He's got a limp. I, you know. Also, Hank was rooting for the Vikings. Yeah, he was. That's fine. Yeah, he was. He had the Hunger Dog. Yeah. Hunger Dog came close. What? Max. I didn't say anything. Oh, you leaned in like you were going to talk. Yeah, it's just deja vu. It's all over again. Listen, what happens in the cave happens in the cave. Yeah. Tepper's flare in the cave. And then you step out. Hank and I have talked. We just won a bet together 30 minutes ago. It's not personal. Yeah, we're back.
26:05We're back.
26:06PFT Commenter:I know. I never said we weren't. I removed it from my memory as soon as I walked out of it. It is very funny how like a hamstring is not a good injury. Like we said, he might be out a month, maybe two months. Maybe it's only just a couple of weeks. Maybe it's a very mild one. And he just was like caught off guard by it. And it caught. And he was afraid that it was something more serious. But it's very weird. I like an injury that, you know, ultimately could cost him, you know, five games this season. Yeah. But you're so relieved. You're like, correct. that's actually the best thing that he could have done is like you know under promise over deliver when it comes to his soft tissues yeah and they are in like an Achilles injury it does I know that injuries are different than they used to be in the fact that guys can come back from pretty much every injury but an Achilles injury for a guy with the athleticism of Caleb would have probably zapped something from him going forward that he would never be exactly the same guy so that was the fear where it wasn't the fear wasn't this season it was next season in the future and all that shit so that is part of why i got relieved uh i was relieved there but uh yeah anything i mean the vikings are a problem they're two and oh they're two everyone else in the in the nfc north is one and one their defense looks awesome i don't know what their quarterback situation is uh because i know kyler's maybe going to come back in a couple weeks from the limited time we saw Kyler I don't know if that's a good or bad thing yeah uh but their defense can keep them in every single game they were I mean the last and the running game too yeah I think the last five three points yeah the the defense is looking good and then the the running game does look efficient yeah it looks like it can win you like that's actually what what they like to do on offense is if you if you had to draw it up have a very efficient ground game don't ask your quarterback to be awesome that's kind of like his secret sauce is like he doesn't he didn't ask sam donald to be like the best quarterback in the entire nfl yeah when he was winning games for the vikings so don't ask him to do too much and i think that kyler i don't know i i'm optimistic at what kyler can do in that system yeah okay uh anything else i mean oh they're showing the ai means on the ai kyler no i was just looking at i was just looking for a kyler update and then that showed up so it was fun yeah then you got the eagles you got the birds next yeah i kind of took a little bit of the buzz out of the Monday Night Big Monday Night Football matchup.
28:35PFT Commenter:Still buzz. Still big game. Tyson Bagent's a good quarterback. Secret Bagent, man. He's good. Tyson Bagent will be able to run the offense. Tyson Bagent does not have the arm strength that Caleb has. That's obviously no duh, but he's limited in that respect. But yeah, I expect him. The thing that sucks is Tyson Bagent I think is going to work fine in Ben Johnson's offense. We still have a bad defense. So, like, in terms of the ceiling of what you need to do with a bad defense, you need to have explosive plays and big plays and all this stuff. It might be a little bit harder to do with Tyson Bajan.
29:11The thing about the Eagles' offensive line right now is that it does not matter if you have a good defense or not. You will get pressure on the back. I know.
29:18PFT Commenter:Yeah. I just think that Tyson Bajan would pair perfectly with a really good defensive team, if that makes sense. Yeah. I don't know if he's going to be paired perfectly in a shootout. But we'll see. I think if he can go 500 in however long that Caleb is out, that would be awesome and just have a chance down the stretch to play some good football. I'm taking the optimistic route here. Tomorrow could be different if we get different news and it's like people are talking about Dak Prescott and how the tendon tore off and he had to get surgery and was out for the season and all that shit. I don't think it's going to be that bad.
29:55I think, if anything, it would probably be better than even we think. Like, he was walking on it after the game. Yeah. And you wouldn't be able to walk on it like that if it was completely torn, grade three.
30:06PFT Commenter:I'd hope so. I'm also not a doctor. I just hope that all the doctors just give us good news. That's all. Yeah. Walking in good spirits, very light limp. Nothing around the leg in question. Okay. So he might be okay. Yeah. He'll be all right. Okay. Next game. Saints 24, Raven 17. Shuck. Tyler Shuck. They got Shucked big time. Shuck is a... He's the new Mr. Fourth Quarter. He's so good. They're never out of it. They're never out of it. It looked like the Ravens were going to walk... So, we'll talk about Tyler Shuck and the Saints because I am excited about watching Tyler Shuck and the Saints play football.
30:48PFT Commenter:They're very fun. Chris Alave's been incredible. If you're a Ravens fan, this looked all too familiar, which has to really suck because you have Jesse Minter. You have a new system. John Harbaugh is gone. Everything's going to change. That was a John Harbaugh loss. So it was exactly like what they've been through. It was. So the Ravens from 2020 to 2025 led the NFL with 14 losses when leading by 10 plus points. John Harbaugh. That was like the end of John Harbaugh is like, we just blow these leads. Jesse Minter has coached two games. The NFL. He's already got one. He's already got one where he's been up by 10-plus points and lost a game.
31:30PFT Commenter:And on top of that, we had a Harbaugh special of Derrick Henry having 11 rushes for 51 yards and a touchdown in the first half, and then getting five more carries in the second half for 17 total yards when the Ravens had a lead. So I don't really understand that, except for they got shucked. They got shucked big time, big time. And credit to the Saints for doing the right thing in the fourth quarter, going for it on fourth down on the goal line. Yes. Because a lot of other teams would put that, especially if you have a youngish quarterback, you're like, let's just take the lead on the road and see if our defense can do something.
32:07He got chucked up, like, fucked up.
32:10PFT Commenter:He got absolutely hammered on those. Maybe a gain of two inches on the second one, and maybe a gain of two inches on the first one. We can never know because there's too many bodies around there. So there was no clear and obvious reason to overturn it. Butterworth weighed in on that one. We had Mark Butterworth poke his head out of the syrup or whatever. He was like, we exhausted all the angles, could not prove clear and obvious that he did not break the plane of the goal line. So it was one of those things where there's too many bodies. It looked like he got in, but it was the right call by Kellen Moore to do that.
32:41I like the guts that he showed. I like the faith that he's got in Shuck. Only 252 yards, but heavy in the fourth quarter. Heavy in the fourth quarter.
32:49PFT Commenter:Yeah. Chris Olave is a stud. He has 18 catches for 266 yards through the first two games. It's clear that they're, as a tandem, work so well together. Also, we had Kellen Moore. He gave out six game balls. Yep. So Tyler Shuck, Chase Young, Julian Blackman, Pete Werner, Chris Olave, and Carl Granderson all got game balls. It's a nice six game balls. I think he could have given out more. I do, too. I really do. I think Butterworth gets a game ball. Butterworth could have definitely gotten a game ball. Hand him one. Six is actually kind of like that's too normal for me. Yeah. I think you can step it up next time, Kellen.
33:29PFT Commenter:This also, it felt like, and Chris Olave said this after the game, the Saints, he said, I feel like since I've been here, we haven't beaten a good team. This is huge for us. Because remember, last year they got some momentum at the end of the year, but they also were playing a lot of the NFC South, and it wasn't like this is a Super Bowl hopeful team in the Baltimore Ravens. They went into their house. They got punched in the mouth, and they responded and won this game, and Shuck made a little Ravens fan cry. He made a little kid cry on TV. That's when you know you got it. This poor kid, he was probably like nine years old, and, man, he is crying.
34:11He's crying. He's crying so hard. Listen, everyone gets shucked up eventually. It's better you find out right now. Yeah. Like, if you got kids in the car, maybe cover their ears, or maybe it's time for them to know, like, they're going to get shucked one day. And that's okay. Shuck MVP odds.
34:29PFT Commenter:Oh, man, you're thinking crazy. But I like it. Juicy. That's all I got. I just did a little sprinkle. You know what this is leading to, Max? it's leading to if Shuck won the MVP this is leading everyone who listens to this podcast will hate us forever because if he gets into a place where he could even be in the conversation we will be he's in the conversation it's true we're having the conversation I can smell the world where it's the Saints against the Eagles first round playoffs I can't have that and you might get Shucked He has the most passing yards to start a Saints season through two games since 2009, Drew Brees.
35:13PFT Commenter:669 was Drew Brees. 2009, Tyler Shuck has 662 passing yards through two games. He's the best. He just throws a catchable ball. He throws a catchable ball. And I saw that he said that Anthony Weaver, the defensive coordinator for the Ravens, called him poor man's Josh Allen. Yeah. Apparently, everyone in the Saints facility was just calling him poor man the whole week. So they heard that. And then he delivered. Also, Josh Allen is rich as shit. A poor man's Josh Allen is still pretty wealthy. I guess rookie season, second year Josh Allen before he got paid. That's a pretty good quarterback. I mean, I'm looking up how much Tyler Shuck has gotten paid.
35:53PFT Commenter:I mean, he's the greatest deal in NFL history right now. He's a bargain right now, yeah. He right now is getting paid$1.3 million this year. Yeah, pretty good. That's pretty damn good. I mean, they very easily could have beaten the Lions week one. Yes. And we could be staring a 2-0 Saints team in the face. Saints fans should be pumped because it's also like the NFC South, we know it's not the hardest division. So there is no team that you're looking at like that team's the best in the division easily. So Saints can – why not dream big? Oh, and they have the – well, I guess they have the 2-0 Raiders coming up and then the Falcons.
36:34Yeah. They could win both those games. You know I'm... Chuck's leading the league in passing right now. I know. Yeah. He's good. He's really good. That's why he's probably going to play against the Birds in the playoffs. We don't know that, but... MVP. We don't know that. We don't know that either. There's a lot of things that we don't know. There's a lot of things that we don't know. We're just having a conversation. We're just speculating. We're using our imagination. This is a national sports podcast. You've got to talk about all those teams. Yeah. Yeah, you know that in the teams that I root for, I'm a bit of a loser.
37:05Maybe one of the biggest, Hank, you don't have to nod that hard. I mean, I'm the one that's saying it. I'm nodding in agreement. Okay, all right, that's fine. Hank, are you slotted? Slotted.
37:15PFT Commenter:Dialed? Nice. Stay dialed. What's the difference between dialed and slotted? Slotted is when you put your arms closer to your body? Yeah, slotted's position, dialed's a state of mind. Got it. Actually, they're both states of mind. What about Max? Is he locked in? Never. Okay. I'm pretty locked in today. He's been more locked in today, though. Yeah, he is. He's not having a bad day. He's a little locked in. Yeah. He was, like, watching the AI Kyler Murray videos for, like, an hour. Well, that wasn't an hour. I watched the video one time. It was funny. They are cute, yeah. They also made him fat, which I don't know why they made him fat.
37:45Yeah, he's not fat. But he did look funnier. He looked like a fat baby. He looks like a little purple nurple. Yeah, it was funny. I was actually locked in because you were talking about Kyler. I was like, oh, yeah, let me look for a Kyler update. Then I got a little distracted by the AI video.
37:59PFT Commenter:Also, I got to unlock real quick because I just forgot to mention something because I mentioned Hank's hat, PFT. I did wear this shirt today that you got me because I was like, what if it's just a lucky shirt? It's not. So I probably never retire. Burn it. Yeah. He gave me the Ben Johnson giving the middle finger, Caleb Williams smoking a cigarette. And I was like, I got to run it back. Yeah. Gone. Hank still has yet to wear the Stone Cold Steve Austin Patriots jersey. I got him. That's crazy. That's crazy. You're being a commander's giver. What? He took it back? He's like, yeah, you're like, you don't give a present and demand that they wear it.
38:35It's a nice thing to wear.
38:38PFT Commenter:It's a nice thing to do. I will wear it eventually. I don't know if you will. I will. I doubt it. All right, what were you going to say, PFC? Yeah, one of the biggest loser things that I do is I get very, very into rooting for guys that were on my team that then left, and I'm happy to see them succeed other places. almost as happy as I get when anything good happens to my team. That's insane losers and stuff. What? That's insane losers. I know. Talk. I know. I know. Max, listen, I'm admitting it. It's an open space for us to share our thoughts, right? You're just describing the last seven years of Kyle Schwerber for me.
39:13Right. Exactly. Yes. It's like ultimate cuck behavior. Right. Sports cucking. I kind of like sitting in the chair and being like, it's good to see Chase Young happy. And it's good to see him playing. He's great. Chase Young has been legitimately awesome for the last, I'd say, year, starting halfway through last season. He's a really fucking good defensive player right now in the league.
39:38PFT Commenter:And the Saints did a really good job, especially in the second half. It goes back to the Ravens not running the ball. Lamar didn't look like he was as comfortable. Rashad Bateman played very well. We should say that. Rashad Bateman was, we've been asking who's going to be, who's Zay Flowers, who's going to be the Ravens receiver. Rashad Bateman was very good. But yeah, that was just the Saints, man. They're good. They're good. Wait, they're good, but are the Saints for real? There's a difference. Yeah, I got to see. I got to see. This next week is going to be big. I think the Saints might be for real.
40:18I think they're a very well-coached team. They got to beat the Raiders at home because the Raiders are 2-0. That's what a for real team does. They take care of business. Right. You got to take care of business.
40:28PFT Commenter:You got a big win. You're talking about the big win. Now take care of business after that. Yep. Then you get to the for real category. Okay. Next game. Bengals 20, Texans 6. The Bengals defense. That might be for real because this was a game. Remember week one we talked about, hey, if you're a Texans fan, how are you feeling about this loss to the Bills? And we came to the conclusion that as much as it sucks to lose, CJ Stroud and the offense looked a lot better. This week, back to what was happening at the end of last year because the Bengals' defense was awesome today. They held the Texans to 5-for-21 on third and fourth down.
41:07PFT Commenter:Woody Marks and David Montgomery had 14 carries for 18 yards. They had a 43.5 pressure rate. That Bengals' defense, it was the first time they didn't allow a touchdown in a game since week three of 2022. And you could hear it in the post-game talk, Jamar Chase and them were talking about we're feeding off this defense. It's got to be awesome to have a defense finally for the first time in a long time, the Bengals have a defense that it feels like, hey, we can win games even when we don't have our best nights, which Joe Burrow even said. He said, I was average today. He said, incredibly average.
41:43PFT Commenter:Incredibly average. Incredibly average. And it must be nice to be incredibly average. And then if you're the Bengals, be able to win by more than just like the skin of your teeth. Yeah, the Bengals only had 12 first downs this game. They had Jamar Chase have an incredible that catch and the body control he made. It was just it's like insane to watch in real time in slow-mo. He's just he's so damn good. But he's out of a slump. Yeah, his one week slump. Yeah. Yeah, he had two touchdowns. He was incredible. I thought CJ Stroud looked pretty good today. Well, also, we should say no Nico Collins is a big deal.
42:16PFT Commenter:Right. That's a big, big deal for the Texans' offense. Right, but I think C.J. Stroud didn't look bad today. He was not the reason why they lost. No, their offense couldn't score points. It's not that he was so bad. He wasn't the playoff game against the Patriots bad, but they just couldn't manufacture points in a game when their defense played good enough that you should be able to win that. Yeah, this is the, I believe, third time out of four years that the Texans start 0-2 under D 'Amico Ryans. Made the playoffs every time. Which they usually bounce back from that. And so some people are saying, hey, the Texans, they're 0-2.
42:54I've heard that before somewhere. And I feel like that's usually a time when Big Cat would make them his pinky team.
43:00PFT Commenter:Yeah. I think just a lot of people are saying that. Yeah, not my pinky team. I have my pinky team. People are going to be so mad about my pinky team. But I don't care. Because the goal is to not lose my pinky. I think I know. I think people should – when I say my pinky team, people are like, hey, you coward. We want to see you cut off your – no, I don't. I'm picking a team I don't think can win the Super Bowl. I think the Texans can still win the Super Bowl. They have to play a lot better. Yeah. In a world where Tank Dell comes back, Nico Collins stays healthy, CJ Stroud plays like he played his rookie year, they could win the Super Bowl.
43:34Yeah.
43:35PFT Commenter:I'm just trying to think who it's going to be. I mean, listen, they lost – they're 0-2, and I get it. 0-2 sucks. They lost to two teams that I think are very good in the Bengals and the Bills. And I think this was more about the Bengals being like, that wasn't a fluke week one. We have a good defense now. We've finally done the things that we need for Dexter Lawrence and Jonathan Allen. They have a good defense. So Al Golden is a good defensive coordinator. It feels like they've got it figured out. And I know it's a long season, but when you have Joe Burrow and you have a good defense, this is what got them to the Super Bowl last time.
44:11PFT Commenter:where it's like they can make enough plays on defense and Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase can make enough plays on offense that you can win a game. I would like them to run the ball, to show that they can just get super, super physical with the running game. I chased Brown on a nice day. Nice day. But I think that's the next step for him. It's like if Joe Burrow can be incredibly average and the running game can elevate the team to the next level, then I might believe in the Bengals to do some serious damage. I'm buying the Bengals stock. Hank, you worried about the Bengals? Yeah, good team. Yeah, good team.
44:45PFT Commenter:Is it the Chargers? I'll tell you when we get there. Okay. When we get to the team. When we get to the team, I'll tell you. They're not winning the Super Bowl, though. I've never been more confident in my pinky staying on my finger, on my hand, than this year. I didn't want it. The Texans also, they make the playoffs every time I do the pinky back. Yeah. They're going to make the playoffs this year. They're going to find a way to make the playoffs. They'll figure it out. They'll figure it out. They always do. Who do they have coming up? So they're, let's see, the schedule is the Colts at the Colts.
45:18PFT Commenter:All right, so they win that game. They're back. Then the Cowboys at the Titans, Jaguars, Giants, Chargers, Browns. Yeah, they'll be back. They got to win their division games. Texans, I think, will be okay. I do too. Bengals, good. Good team. Yep. That is showing that they're different than the Bengals of last year and what we saw last year. And like Joe Burrow, Joe Burrow does do a good job of like whenever he just comes out and says it like I wasn't good. I feel like that happens a lot. Now, Joe Burrow's got to stay healthy. The fact that he was already questionable this week with a back injury.
45:53PFT Commenter:So what was up with his back? Was it like spasming? Doctor said he needs a backyotomy. Backyotomy. Get a back replacement. Yeah. One of those. Maybe start wearing shirts that have backs on him, Joe. That'd be nice. Maybe less chain mail. Yeah. Okay. Before we get to, we got three games, actually four, four games coming up with everyone in this room. Their team's being spoken about. 48:12PFT Commenter:Grab it at 7-11 today. Body Armor Flash IV. Okay. Packers 20, Jets 17. Memes. How did the Jets lose that game? Just an extremely disappointing loss. Extremely. I'm not mad. I'm disappointed. That's worse. That is worse. To be disappointed than... Actually, no, that might be better. Because that means that you're expected to win. Yeah, they should have won that game. I should be sitting here 2-0. Yeah. On a high horse. But instead, we're just 1-1 because we're still the Jets. Can I make a suggestion? Yes. I think you should be mad. I think you should be... I am mad. It's just the expression. It sounds better the other way.
48:58Yeah. But I think you should be very mad at your coach. Which one? Your head coach. Aaron Glenn. Aaron Glennie Ball is eating all the pussy. I think this is one of those. It's across the board. It's also on Frank Reich. Yeah. So I was talking more about the time management at the end of the game. And also. Kind of like giving up. It was a big time. I don't know. You would never see a truly aggressive coach that likes to go for the throat do what he did at the end of regulation. which is just be afraid of getting pinned deep by a punt, so not using a timeout. True. I think he was more concerned if they go for it on fourth and five.
49:39PFT Commenter:Yeah. And they get it. But if they don't get it, you win the game. Exactly. Because you have time left. I don't think they were going to go for it. Either way, the OT thing is still baffling to me. I do not understand why a coach would win the coin toss and then elect to start with the ball in overtime. I don't think they knew the rules. Yeah. He said afterwards he wanted to control the clock. But again, with both teams getting a possession, you would much rather know what you have to get versus like the Packers who got the stop and then knew all they had to do was get a field goal is such an advantage versus the opposite where it's like you're playing.
50:18PFT Commenter:Like the Packers knew going into when they get the ball in the overtime, it's like, all right, we just got to get a field goal here. We don't have to be super aggressive. You want to know if the other team scores a touchdown first. You got to know that you now get every fourth down to go for it. I just don't understand any coach that wouldn't want to kick in the new overtime rules. It makes no sense to me. No, I'm with you, especially the way they call the game. Just extremely conservative. Right. You want to go second just because. You get every fourth down. And you're a defensive guy. You want to get a stop.
50:47Then you get the ball back. Right. I just think Gino saw tails. Didn't know the rules. And his coach is covering for him. And his coach is covering for him. Because the press conference sounded like a lie. Yeah, control the clock makes no sense. No sense. Zero sense whatsoever. Best case scenario, you get the ball, and you go down the field, and it's a seven-minute drive, and you score. Best case, right?
51:09PFT Commenter:Yeah, best case. Then big deal, okay? The drive took seven minutes. That's still a lot of time for the Packers to respond. Yeah, I think he was giving bad information on that one, and he's covering, but still. The fourth and one play shotgun was probably what lost in the game. Yeah. But it was just across the board, just so disappointing. The Packers, I mean, they didn't look good. They're just the most penalized team. They just get penalties. They have 26 penalties in two games, 14 penalties in this game. The Packers are the first team on record since 1941 to win a game with less than 200 total yards, 100-plus penalty yards, negative turnover margin.
51:56PFT Commenter:Entering today, teams in that spot were 0-44, and they found a way to win. It's pretty crazy. Yeah, no takeaways. That's just the Jets. The Jets had more penalty yards. Yeah, I know, but I'm just saying the Packers through two games had 26 penalties. Yeah, the Jets had 156 penalty yards. This was as gross as the Bears-Vikings game. There was fumbles. I think that were there. Eight fumbles. Only one loss, but eight fumbles. Yeah, Jets don't know how to fumble. A million penalties. Just gross, gross football. And I think we were right about the Jets' white uniforms in the rain. Yeah. Too wet. Yeah, they're too wet.
52:32I think the Jets were wetter than the Packers. The Jets looked good, though. They actually looked. It was a clean look for them, didn't I? Yeah, but they're wet. Memes, you laughed at me. You looked heavy.
52:40PFT Commenter:I nailed that. Too wet. I'll give that to you guys. You did nail that. It was just simply too wet. I don't think Hank's admitting that they were too wet. No. No. Hank, they were far too wet. They were way too wet. Yeah. Because he wants them to. They look good. They didn't look like losers. No, they looked wet. Until the fourth quarter. Yeah. Which they were. In the fourth quarter, they were too wet. They were too wet. Our best unit last year, which is special teams, they couldn't cover a punt. That's what lost them the game. Are you taking any consolation whatsoever on the fact that you should have beaten the Packers, who in theory are a good football team, and you should have, but you had them, even though it was like colossal mental mistakes and some coaching stuff that led you to kind of collapse at the end.
53:25They won coaching stuff too, like that. Yeah. Overtime's got, like when you're going into the offseason OTAs, the coaches probably meet together and it's like, you know, let's just start the year by going through like general overtime practice. Like that had to have happened.
53:40PFT Commenter:Yeah. I'd agree. You win the coin flip, don't take the ball. Are you at the place where you can look at this game and be like, okay, that's progress that we should have beaten the Packers today. We were the better team, and we had that game won, and we choked it away. Are you at the point where it's like just complete and utter, like, get rid of this coaching staff? I'm like half and half. Aaron Glenn's defense is good. He called his shot in the offseason saying, his superpower is calling defense because it's been you can't put this game on his defense like the the sky more punt return was what kind of shifted the whole game there and also the jets not being able to because there was that moment when it was jets i think they were up 14 7 the packers fumbled on their own 14 the jets only got three out of that and they didn't they they kicked it on fourth and one like that's if you if the offense is able to get six there which you would hope your offense is able to do when you get the ball at the 14 you win the game so it's like Aaron Glenn's defense wasn't the problem it was the offense wasn't able to like hit the kill shot yeah they were they were just ultra conservative they just need to install play where Kenyan Sadiq goes under center and you you do the tush push and you get a first down I don't know how every single team doesn't have a tush push guy just doesn't make any sense yeah did they run the 05 personnel they did they they threw a tight end screen to Jeremy Rucker it didn't really do anything it looks cool it does look cool I love it when they have five tight ends on the field but you also aren't going to get anything out of it most of the time it just looks cool yeah that's what Vernon Davis would say yeah uh the Packers also like the Jets and Packers like I was looking at it they so they played uh four times in the last 10 years 12 years the the the jets have blown a 21, three lead, a 35, 20 lead, a 17, seven lead.
55:43PFT Commenter:And then they won one of the games. So it's either they, they blow a lead to the Packers or they win. I did not know that. Yeah. I did not know that. It sucks. I mean, think about it this way. You guys, I wanted you to beat the Packers. You had a double digit lead. Yeah. We, we pissed down our leg to the guys who pissed down their leg and Matt LaFleur. It's tough. They might've gotten their swagger back. Like, Oh, maybe we are a mentally tough team, which if that's true, I may never forgive you. Yeah, we outpissed the Packers and might have done that. Yeah, you went punt, turnover on downs, and punt after you went up 10 points.
56:20PFT Commenter:Just not good enough. Especially Frank Reich and Aaron Glenn. They've been coaching for a while. At some point, you got to just go win a game. Yeah, right. Yeah. That was the fourth and one where it's like, go win a game. Go up 14 points. Then the other fourth and one. Yeah. The other 4-10 one. And too wet. And too wet. It was so wet. It was so wet. You guys were just too wet. Did you expect to win that game? Like a pussy in Nashville when Glennie Balls comes. When you had a 10-point lead, did you expect to win that game? I expected. I did. I did expect to win that game. Yeah. That's good, though.
56:54That's a little bit of progress. Max, you're laughing. We're right. No, this is a Glennie. But the Glennie Balls pussy in Nashville is going to get me every time. That was so funny. The man sprained his neck.
57:04PFT Commenter:Yeah. He's brained his neck eating pussy. He showed up looking like Christopher to a court date. Vincent Mann when he was going to court for the steroid trial. Put that clip in right now. Put it in so people understand. All right. Any last thoughts, memes, about this game? Hank, this ruined your hungry dog. You were mad at the Jets. You said Jets going to jet. Yeah, just going to jet. That was just a disgusting, disgusting loss. Any thought that they're going to be a scrappy team this year went out the window after that performance. Oh. Their head coach is a moron. I think they're still very much in the scrappy category and maybe trending towards decently good.
57:51PFT Commenter:Memes? What? Hank's speaking like a Jets fan right now because he did. Hank was texting me during the game rooting for the Jets. I was literally texting memes. Me memes could have been brothers. We would have been brothers for life if the Jets won this game. I literally texted him, please. Just please. I want to believe in him. And then the Jets elected to take the ball and memes goes, this game's over. that like that that one is where you just that cannot happen it makes no sense no head coach should ever do that in the NFL ever and anytime the game goes to overtime the team that wins the kickoff I mean it's like the Super Bowl but that was like the first that was the first time it happened that was the that was the very that was what four five years ago yeah yeah and everyone watching that ever was like that can never happen And the fact that it happened again five years later, I think the Jets just haven't been in an overtime game.
58:49Yeah, they did get blown out a lot last year, so they haven't been in that situation. Okay. But I should know the rules better than the guys coaching the game.
58:59PFT Commenter:Right, and also Aaron Glenn was with Dan Campbell, like one of the most aggressive coaches out there. You would think that he would have picked up a little something from that, too. Or like maybe they watched the Lions game from last week and were like, all right, put the pressure on him, we'll score. and then you dictate how it goes. It's possible. There was one quote that he had post-game concerns me a little bit. He said, this loss is not going to define who we are and what we're about. I feel like if that were true, you don't even think about that. You wouldn't even think about saying like, hey, this loss isn't going to define me.
59:33Most people lose a game and they don't worry at all about their job being defined by that game.
59:42PFT Commenter:yeah he kind of tried to get in front of it I know you guys are going to think this is going to define us but I'm going to tell you right now it's not going to define us yeah that's not us I promise you when you think of us you're not going to think of losing this game right it's like well you're thinking of that wait hold on dude why'd you say that we didn't say that you did a lot of you guys think it's going to define me well if they would have won it would have been a defining win that's true because it would have been the first real team they beat would have been extremely defining His resume right now is Titans, Browns.
1:00:13Titans might be a good team.
1:00:15PFT Commenter:Titans could be a good team. They gave the Eagles hell. They gave them hell like Mincy in Oxford. They gave them hell. Should we go to that game? Eagles 24, Titans 20? Mm-hmm. Titans gave you hell. Big time. The Eagles offensive line. I miss Jeff Stoutland. Yeah. Yeah. I don't think it's just some injuries. I think it's a big, big deal that you lost. He was the best offensive line coach in the entire league. It was him and Skarnecchia from New England. Those are two line coaches that will win you football games. They're more than just offensive line coaches. And so why did you let him walk? I think he just wanted to retire, right?
1:00:58PFT Commenter:Oh, no, it's because he had disagreement with Petula, with the new offensive coordinator. And listen, I think Mannion has the offense has looked better. It has looked less boring than the than the Mannion offense did. Hertz has looked better in his first two games than he did for most of last year. So I can't say I'm upset about bringing in Mannion, but it does suck. I wish we could have brought in Mannion and kept Stoutland because the offensive line is really bad. And it's really coming from the same position the first two weeks. Landon Dickerson was unplayable last week, came out after the game, said he was hurt, went on the IR, and now we moved Cam Juergens to left guard, who was our center, and then put in the backup center at center, and Cam Juergens just couldn't play guard.
1:01:49He just couldn't play.
1:01:50PFT Commenter:Yeah, that was weird to change two positions, basically. Yeah, I wish they didn't do that. I'm curious to see if they go back to it this week. Obviously, playing a new position and then going up against Jeffrey Simmons for an entire game is difficult. Jeffrey Simmons dominated the game today. Cam Juergens couldn't block him. He just couldn't block him. But he's not a guard. I don't know. They felt more comfortable with Drew Kendall at center than Willie Lampkin, I think, at guard because Willie Lampkin's a young guy, doesn't have a lot of experience. Kendall has played a lot in the NFL or has played some in the NFL.
1:02:26But I don't know. It's just frustrating. But they won the game. They won the game.
1:02:30PFT Commenter:Yeah, and Jalen Hurts had a couple bad picks, but he also had an incredible final drive. When you needed it the most, he was awesome on that drive. He played fantastic for 80 % of this game and then threw one horrendous pick in the first quarter, I guess. It set up, it was actually perfectly right after we were talking, we were like, how are the Titans even going to move the ball? And then it was like two seconds later, a pick to the 10-yard line. Yeah. I was like, well, I guess I could do it that way. and the Titans I mean hey it was good to see the Titans fight because they looked like the worst team in the NFL week one and they at least fought pretty hard in this game and gave the Eagles I mean you were sweating it a little yeah Hertz had to go down the field with a minute 56 no timeouts they were very frisky they were violent Simmons kind of backed up some of the shit that he talked Yeah, somehow both of them came away looking okay.
1:03:29That's what I was going to say. He kind of threw down the gauntlet being like, we just got to make him play quarterback. And then somehow he was kind of right, and he played good enough where it wasn't like him running his mouth that cost him the game.
1:03:42PFT Commenter:Correct. Did you see the hot mic after the game? No. Who's hot mic? Hertz was getting interviewed by Fox. I think the game was on Fox. For the post-game interview, Simmons came up to him during the interview. Yeah. It was like a game. and then Hertz goes, you talk that shit, I ended it. Ooh. But it was very playful. That's fair. Maybe Super Bowl for you. Fair play. These two great teams. It was 150 degrees on the turf. How crazy is that? Too hot. Yeah, maybe that for the big boys up front could be difficult. And then I did notice at the end of the game, and Max, you were screaming at the TV, that the Titans defensive players were holding down the Eagles players like the ball carriers.
1:04:26Oh, I hated that. And then in order to slow them down a little bit, hold them down. If those pellets are 157 degrees, you're pretty much just cooking the guys. You're like searing. That's a great point. I didn't think about it like that. You're in pain on top.
1:04:39PFT Commenter:You're in a Korean barbecue. That's got to hurt like shit. Yeah, well, there would be a tackle, and then we had no timeouts, and they would be tackled in the middle of the field, and the Titans players would just lay on top of them for an extra fight. Well done. Yeah. That's bullshit. That's defensive delay of game. Yeah, no, Devontae Smith was probably like seared like a nice tuna steak. He was also fucking awesome in this game. So was Dontavian Wicks. Dontavian, yeah. Are you about to say the stat? What was the stat? I'm pretty sure Dontavian Wicks had six catches today, all for first downs.
1:05:10Yeah. And I think four of them were on third down. Yeah. I don't know that.
1:05:15PFT Commenter:Yeah, I have five catches for first downs, four of them on third down and one on fourth down. 74 yards, five conversions. And Jalen Hurts had 100%. 145.8 passer rating when targeting Dontavian Wicks this season. He's been awesome. He's been really good. One man's trash, another man's treasure. And Devontae Smith, yeah, is so sick. He had one of those catches today that didn't count, but they still showed three replays of it because it was so sick, but his feet were out of bounds. Would you say I'm being a hater if I said that you got outplayed by the Titans, but the Eagles out-executed the Titans?
1:05:57I think yes. I think they had some turnover. You're actually not calling me a hater.
1:06:01PFT Commenter:You're calling Robert Salah a hater because that's what he said. He said, overall, I thought we outplayed them, but they out-executed us. Yeah, I think. I mean, they had some turnover. They had some turnover luck in that game for sure. Yeah, I think if you're a Titans fan, you're still kind of optimistic. You don't know what's going to happen with the new regime that's there. But if you're a Jets fan and you've seen it, Like watching this from afar, you have to have PTSD in how Salah is talking to the media. Because that guy must have like a motivational quote of the day saying, calendar that he just like rips off in case you lose.
1:06:36Okay, I've got what I'm going to say here. Like he does seem like the guy that's the ultimate moral victories guy. Right. And like, you know, today was actually bigger than just this loss because tough times don't last. Tough people do. Do you just flash back to some of the... Because nobody wins a post-game loss press conference like Robert Sala. Oh, yeah. I just said it to Max. I was like, Robert Sala is a big moral victory guy. Oh, but he actually said no.
1:07:02PFT Commenter:He said no. There are no moral victories. Oh, there's no moral victories. He's doing the same thing. He got out ahead of it. He had one last week. He said, when you're a loser, you lose. That was his... That's a good point. That was a great one. He's doing the 60 % shirts. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Because you get 60%. there's still 60 % left in you when you think that you're finished, right? You think that you're, you've spent it all. You got no more energy, but data actually shows that the average human has 60 % left. Nope. Which I don't be like another, like 90 seconds. What kind of data is, I do not have that when I'm finished.
1:07:35PFT Commenter:I do not have another 90 seconds. Turns out you can keep going. Nope. It's already soft, Bob. But yeah, he does. I feel like jets fans watch what he's saying to like in the postgame press conferences and they're like this fucking guy yeah because he does he does kind of fire you up a little bit in a post-game like press conference after a loss his head's really shiny too very shiny yeah he should probably get a little like d shine maybe get what if robert uh uh like got the matte helmet on his head instead matte bald instead of shiny bald yeah That could be a little bit better. Just like spray paint it with the stuff that Carlos Tueser used?
1:08:17PFT Commenter:Yeah, not even a different color, but just the matte finish instead of the shiny finish. Oh, powdery. Yeah, yeah. Whenever a team wears matte helmets, I'm like, that's pretty badass versus the shiny helmets. Just a thought. Can you go matte bald? I think you probably can. You just have to powder it up. I think you just got to powder up. Did you guys see the Kent State coach? so there was a tweet that's just living rent free in my head someone said the Kent State coach looks like Matt Damon is playing a movie about Brian Dable and I just can't that's the Kent State coach look at him in PFT have you seen him?
1:08:56PFT Commenter:yeah he looks exactly like Matt Damon he looks like Matt Damon singing Scotty Doesn't Know yeah it's fucked me up I don't know why I thought of it well I thought of it because of Baldin also Brian Dable's the offensive coordinator for the Titans So that's why I thought of it. Max, is Coach Sirianni okay?
1:09:15Yes. You had to get a post-game IV.
1:09:17PFT Commenter:Oh. Oh. It was 150 degrees. It was hot. Sounds like he gave 100%. Sounds like Robert Sala is wrong. I think Sirianni might have had 61 % left. I thought you were. 1%. What? I don't know if I'm sick or if you're sick. I thought you were asking if he was on the hot seat after winning the first two games. Well, it was quite literally a very hot field. But not covering either of them. Correct. Not even really close to covering either of them. No, no. Bad team against the spread right now. Whose lines is it anyway for Monday? Oh. That's tough. I don't think you're going to. It's tough. Oh, okay. Then it's probably Eagles.
1:09:53PFT Commenter:No, no, no, no. Dude, you're home. Caleb Williams isn't playing. I'm going to say Bears minus one and a half. You're insane. I'm going to say Eagles minus three. I think it's Eagles three and a half. It's Eagles four and a half. Yeah. What do you do? Dude, Caleb Williams isn't playing. I take it back. Max not locked in. No, not locked in at all. What are you doing, Max? They value the whole teams in the NFL. He, our starting quarterback, is hurt. But Tyson Bajan's pretty good. Caleb Williams is hurt. And we've looked like shit. Based on how much of Tyson Bajan have you watched? The two teams that the Eagles have beat by two points have gotten their shit kicked in the other two games.
1:10:28He played a good Titans team. Very good. Really good Titans team. Like this is a team that They're gonna be hanging around Come January
1:10:38PFT Commenter:I'm gonna bet the Bears I'm gonna believe in Tyson Bajin But like That does matter When you factor in a line Max I guess You thought the Bears would be favorite? Yes Actually that much I think it's a seven point swing I think you guys would have been Three point favorites I don't think we would have been Three point favorites I think it would have been like You don't think the Bears Would have been three point favorites At home On that game? No No I think maybe One and a half Maybe Yeah Maybe People would have gobbled up You have the better defense by far But is Barkley okay? I think he's going to be They said they're not too worried about it Max thinks the Eagles stink I do kind of think that they stink He's not getting to it But he does He thinks they stink I think the offensive line stinks And I'm not used to having a stink We can't run the football We couldn't run the football against the fucking Titans.
1:11:32Yeah, today what jumped out to me was that they – say what you want about the Eagles. They have some dumb, dumb play calls sometimes. But usually when they're executing those dumbass play calls, your offensive line is still manhandling the defense and just punching them in the face. And I have not seen that too much from the Eagles. No. No, not at all. And we've played two bad defenses.
1:11:56PFT Commenter:Is Dallas Goddard out for a while? He got hurt, right? Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. It's hard when you're watching these games on the second and third TVs because you don't get audio. I know. So it takes a while to even get that information. I was thinking about it. It wouldn't be conducive to the stream and the watchability. But if we were just like the UN and we all had our own headphones. I thought about that, too. I was thinking about that while I was watching that game today. I was like, I kind of want to just get an AirPod and just have one. Just one AirPod. it that like you can put in no way you can have a conversation but like but there's times where you need it i know i agree but like most of the time you keep it out but it's like okay i need to lock in here let me let me get these airpods but i think if you just had one in and it's like that happens at sports bars all the time each table can turn the audio to whatever they want all right maybe we gotta try it yeah because today we had sound on one of the worst games to watch That game sucked.
1:12:52PFT Commenter:Patriots 20, Steelers 3. Trash. Hank? Good win. Good win. What do you mean good? Any win is a good win, and this was one of those wins. One of them wins. The Steelers are the exact same team. Maybe actually not. Maybe worse. That offense is so, so bad. And it's not taking anything away from the Patriots defense, which is good. Christian Gonzalez is a beast. The Steelers offense is pathetic. TK Metcalf, friend of the program. Bad. And a lot of like, oh, TK Metcalf and Rodgers are like best friends. This is going to go so well. OTA is horrible. Nine targets, four catches, 27 yards for wide receiver one.
1:13:39PFT Commenter:And that's wide receiver three shit. It was ugly. There were drops, plenty. Looking back on it, the whole, like, TK probably doesn't believe in any of the Antarctica shit. No. He's probably just trying to find something in common with Aaron. Be like, hey, maybe we can bond over aliens. DK looks like a complete shell of himself right now. I don't know if it's just the uniform that he's got on, if it's the offense that he's in, but you didn't see DK making egregious drops like this multiple times a game. The Pittsburgh Steelers have now gone 69 straight regular season games where they have not scored more than seven points in opening quarter.
1:14:17PFT Commenter:Yeah. 69 straight regular season games without scoring more than seven points in opening quarter. We're through two weeks in the NFL season. Obviously, it's a long season. But as of right now... Is that Roethlisberger still? No, 69 is what? So there's 17 games a season. It's quick math. Come on. Someone get it. Zach, give us the math. If we're doing 69 divided by 17, that's going to be right up to 20. 69, that's 70. 20 goes into 70, three times, 3.5, four and a half seasons. Okay, four and a half seasons. That's your answer. Yeah. They are, through two weeks of the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers offense has one touchdown.
1:15:00PFT Commenter:TJ Watt has one touchdown. It's so bad. And Aaron Rodgers is, it's over. I mean, that sack, he should have just questioned everything. That was not only one of the hardest hits, but then the fumble was one of the funniest fumbles we've seen in a long time. Yeah. It just kept on bouncing. Yeah. And both teams had their chance to pick it up. I was hoping it would keep going. I wanted to go out the back of the end zone, have everybody get a touch on it. There was also a sack. Five players got injured on that too. Yeah. Bodies everywhere. There was one other sack that he had at the end of the game that I watched and I just felt kind of uncomfortable watching it because he does look old.
1:15:42That was the fumble six. and he's like he's running away and he like kind of tosses the ball out yeah like it's like here you take it like he's an old person getting robbed he's like yeah take my wallet you know like just throws the ball away maybe they'll stop chasing me if i don't have this anymore um it's kind of
1:15:58PFT Commenter:sad to watch it was sad to watch uh let's do a name that name who who said that quote it's game we play who said that who said that you ready for this quote offense needs to be better mike mccarthy needs to be better mike mccarthy yes yeah i like that he's already doing the third person that's tough mike mccarthy needs to be better said mike mccarthy big my how are you feeling overall hank because that wasn't the best drake may did have if you're going off of week one when he had a bunch of guys still running uh and he didn't push the ball downfield they did take shots today and it was basically that was the offense it was like no down to down continuity but there were the big shot plays that got them down the field.
1:16:41Yeah, there was one bad interception where he had checkdowns and guys open, people still running that he probably could have hit and just underthrew. Bad interception. He hates Matt Collins. The knock on Drake May last year was he didn't beat playoff teams. They beat a playoff team today. Didn't convert on third and sixth. Oh, that's true. Had a huge third and sixth conversion today. So that's how I'm taking away. It's like the two main things that we focused on on this show last year was like the schedule. Didn't beat any playoff teams. And third and sixth. And he showed today that he can do both those things without A.J.
1:17:17Brown. Obviously, the offensive line injury is bad. He's going to be out for the year. But yeah, the ankle was like sideways. Yeah, he's broke his ankle. Yeah, it's pretty bad. Yeah, no, you're right. I like that you had to remind us that the Steelers were technically a playoff team. Yeah, I did a double check in my brain.
1:17:37PFT Commenter:But you're right. I was like, oh, yeah, they are. You're right. It's a correct stat. And the third and six was great. It was awesome. Great completion across the middle. Tough throw. Driving the ball downfield. Remondre had a great run. Sorry, sorry, no. Trevion. Trevion had a great run. Remondre, doghouse again. Doghouse. That was like a deja vu moment where I was playing the Steelers, fumble early in the game. Doghouse. Doghouse. Yeah. You guys basically just have to kind of hope the defense can step up a little bit because the offense is going to look a lot different when AJ gets back. Yeah, Romeo Dobbs had some good plays, had some flashes.
1:18:15That was kind of what I was looking for going into this game. And now we've got the Jags. Jags, it's going to be a battle. It's going to be a war.
1:18:22PFT Commenter:Yeah, Jags off a loss. Motivated. Yeah. A lot of people were upset that Max ruined the he's still running in the moment. Yeah, I don't think. Why are you just saying that that was me? Big Cat is the one who said it. Well, I figured out right away that it was someone's voice. I did not know. Correct, but you kept saying to turn the voice off, so I texted you and said this is PFT's voice. Right, but you texted me in the middle of the show. Correct, and I would have said it out loud. I texted you for it not to be said, and PFT keeps saying, Max ruined it, Max ruined it. I'm willing to take blame.
1:18:55I also think it's better than we... You keep saying it's both of us. Big Cat and Max ruined it. Why do you keep saying Max? If you just let, if Max said nothing about it, Hank would still be going right now. He kept saying, turn the audio off. Hank would still be running.
1:19:09PFT Commenter:Wait, but hold on. I do think it was better that Hank found out on the show. I also agree with that, too. A million people would have tweeted Hank being like, that's clearly, there's 10 guys on the field and it's PFT. There were a lot of people that didn't understand the bit that did say there's 10 players on the field. Yeah, like people would have been tagging Hank nonstop. And then he would have found out by himself, and then he would have come back being like, that was stupid. It just would have been so good to move on right when Hank said, yeah, 11 guys on the field. I don't know what to look at.
1:19:38That line was so funny. It was awesome.
1:19:41PFT Commenter:But, yeah. Wow, Max really throwing me under the bus. Well, PFC keeps throwing me under the bus. Yeah. Deservedly so. I knew the board. You still have not admitted that. Well, you texted me on the air. You did say it. You texted me, and I read it out loud. If it wasn't for Max, I would not have figured it out. Yes. Yeah, actually, I wouldn't have either. I would have just said, that voice is really annoying. Yep. That's true. I would have just said the voice was annoying. I know. If you're on your honeymoon, I would have just been like, that voice is really annoying. And then PFT would have told me after the show, hey, that was me.
1:20:16PFT Commenter:And I'd be like, oh. Lighthouse Formation also is watching it back. That was funny. Yeah, a little Easter egg there. We'll have to figure out something new. New wrinkle to it. That's what makes football season fun. Yeah. He's still running. What? No, we're going to get to it. I was ready to do something, but now you kind of ruined it. Jane Daniels ruined it. Ruined what? I was going to try and do my own film breakdown this week, but now I can't. But you have one that we'll get to. I still want to do film breakdowns. I said I was doing film breakdowns before that came out last week. Yeah. You also said you're going to play the harmonica.
1:20:59That's for December 4th. No, I'm not doing film breakdowns for the Patriots. I bought the All-22 today. Yeah, you can do a Jaden film breakdown. But it's going to be like elbow breakdown. Oh, it's broken. It's actually not broken. It's not broken. It's dislocated. Yeah, no fracture. It turns out the All-22 doesn't come out right away. I sat down ready to get in the lab. Yeah. Couldn't get in the lab. If you're Glenn, if you're Glenn Tape Watch, you got people at the league that send you. He's still running. You got early film? They sent Glenn some individual plays almost right, pretty much before they even happened.
1:21:35PFT Commenter:I would buy a shirt that just said he's still running. He's still running. I don't hate it. He's still running. There were so many times that I was watching football this weekend. I was just like, he's still running. Yeah. Same. Drink me through the interception. Yeah. You were out of the room, but I was like, if he gives a little air on that, he's still running. It's a great catchphrase. Yeah. Forrest Gump. I'm done with the Steelers, by the way. I can't watch this team. This team, it's just brutal. I feel bad. Steelers fans are in football purgatory right now. They're not in hell. Hell would be just losing all their games and then getting on the other side and getting a draft.
1:22:13PFT Commenter:They're just in purgatory where they have good players, but they're either a combination of old or they're all on the defense. And it's just brutal to watch. And what would inspire you to want to watch the Steelers play football? I don't know. They're in such purgatory that they do have brief glimpses of what it would be like if they weren't in purgatory, where they'll go to a backup quarterback. You'll have your Mason Rudolph game, and people get excited about it, and you're like, oh, no, this is hell. Yeah. They step out of purgatory every now and again, and they get to experience hell. So they're almost more than happy to go back to purgatory.
1:22:51PFT Commenter:Right. And if you're going like data points, the Falcons could be one of the worst teams in the league. Yep. And that was their win in week one. And it's not like they blew them out. Yeah. So. My only other note on this game was J.J. Watt did a really good job in the booth. Hot seat, Tony Romo, borderline. Well, I don't think it's borderline. I think his seat is scalding hot. I would have been so mad if the Steelers, like if the game was closer and the Steelers were winning. It was bothering me. That should be illegal. What, for him to talk about his brother? Yeah. It didn't matter because the Patriots won that game handily, and it would have been completely like, it would have just been fan anger, but I would have been mad if the game was close and TJ Watt did something, and then it was JJ Watt gassing up his brother.
1:23:40That would have bothered me. Big cap.
1:23:43PFT Commenter:What about if Tom Brady calls a Patriots game? It's not family. He doesn't have a dog in the fight. And I would love that. He did say shit. He also said piss missile. I don't want to talk about this. Which is awesome. I got shit and pissed on by Tom. But I would love it if he called the Patriots game. But yeah, it's not the same because he kind of doesn't like Drake May. Now Raiders on the other hand. Not to talk about it. Yeah, Raiders, fuck that. You would not. I like that, Hank. You're all about fair and balanced. What did he say? Yeah, it's not fair and balanced. It's not fair and balanced.
1:24:20No, it's just like.
1:24:20PFT Commenter:No, he did a good job not talking about him like he was his brother. Hank's just saying if they lost, he would have then got retroactively mad at J.J. Watt for nothing that he did. Yes. Just the fact that he was there. It happened early on when like. Yeah, he did get mad early. But the game was close early. He said early this should be illegal. Yes. If the game had gotten closer and like T.J. Watt probably would have had a huge impact at the end. Like I would have been upset and I would have probably taken. Last out on J.J. Yes. Yeah, but not for any reason. JJ did a good job. He didn't make it feel like this is my brother I'm talking about.
1:24:56PFT Commenter:You just would have been irrationally angry and been like JJ. Yes. And so for the sake of other NFL fans, you're trying to just save JJ from JJ. Yes. Okay. You want him to have this job. And also at this point, I don't think the Steelers should be getting any more marquee A-team games. I agree with that. Yeah. I think there should be some teams that we should come together about and say no A-team, no standalone oh and speaking of yeah that we have a real problem america we have a real problem uh the panthers 34 falcons 3 the atlanta falcons i'm not gonna say they're the worst team in the nfl because the miami dolphins are but they're the second worst and they're gonna be on the next three weeks in prime time thursday night football coming up who's who do they have after that they Sunday Night Football, I believe.
1:25:46PFT Commenter:I think it's Monday and then Sunday. Yes. Yeah. Thursday, Monday, Sunday. Is it a double Monday, maybe? Oh, good. No, I don't think we. I think they got rid of double Monday. What? I know. Yeah. Double Monday is gone. Double Monday is gone. Shucks playing in that game. We should bring back double Monday. Massive Shuck ladder game. If the Falcons are playing, bring back double Monday night games, please. We're going to try to steal the moon.
1:26:15PFT Commenter:Like the Minions movie. We're going to take the moon because of Shuck Ladders. But yes, Panthers 34, Falcons 3. The Falcons are... I don't know what Kevin Stefanski did in his past life to deserve this. I think he might like it. There's no way he likes what's going on now. So last year, he got to his fourth quarterback in 11 weeks. Bad. Still bad. Because you don't want to be on your fourth quarterback. This year, he got to his fourth quarterback in the second week. We saw Jack Strand because Hank's favorite quarterback, Cooper Rush, was basically like the worst quarterback ever. He got in the game.
1:26:54PFT Commenter:Two of his first five snaps were turnovers. 10 for 17, 86 yards, two interceptions. The Falcons are so bad. They're so, so bad. They're just a brutal watch. I don't know what else to say. Very much a bummer. the only good thing I'll say is if you are a what do we call it the Strand Boys I think we've been working on we're going to get stranded I saw Strand Wagons also Strand Wagons is good the Strandered is the Strandered if you're trying to get a Strand job the E Street Strand yeah Kevin Stefanski and the E Street Strand if you're all about Jack Strand which i think we are oh yeah say um we'll never hear from him again by the way yeah we are no big cat you haven't heard this stat no i've i just know michael pennix has i think kevin's basically be like for america's sake we have to do something before this thursday night let me tell you this uh jack strand if you're a non-believer before listen first pass pick six okay he becomes the fourth quarterback in the history of the nfl where their first pass is pick six the other three quarterbacks sam darnold brett farve james winston wait i thought brett farve's first pass in the nfl was a completion to himself his first pass yeah i'm pretty sure i'm pretty sure his first pass was famously a completion to himself but yeah yeah i guess the set that i saw was those three okay were the only three others in the history of the nfl which would be oh no it was all right so i guess it wasn't a pass to himself which would be for For some reason, I thought it was a pass-to-missive.
1:28:34An amazing company for Jack Strand to belong to. Yes. So let's not give up on Jack Strand just yet. I might give up on Jack Strand. I'm not willing to do it. I'm willing to delude myself.
1:28:48PFT Commenter:You guys need to talk me off the ledge. You need to give me at least one primetime games worth of belief. I'm stranding all alone at the edge of the earth right now. That pick wasn't his fault. That pick was not his fault. You're right. Correct. That's a fact. That's all I got. we should talk about the Panthers because the Panthers played really really well and Bryce Young is awesome right now he had 287 yards, 3 touchdowns he also has like real weapons Tet was sick like the deep balls to Tet Jalen Coker's awesome Darren Waller I feel like has retired like 7 times and every time he'll just come back and catch 2 touchdowns out of nowhere, it just keeps happening where it's like oh yeah Darren Waller isn't retired two touchdowns.
1:29:32That's a same-face new place that last week against the Bears. I was shocked when they said that he was on the Panthers. Are the Panthers sneaky good or did they play the Falcons? Offensive juggernauts.
1:29:48PFT Commenter:Yeah, I mean, they played against two bad... No, they played the Steelers offense, so they look good because of the Steelers offense. What? but Steelers might have the worst offense in the league. Yeah, no, they do. They absolutely do. I just know that Bryce Young looks good and the Panthers for the first time since September 23rd, 2021, that's almost five years closed as a favorite and won the game and covered. Well, they'd have to, they'd have to win and cover it. You get it. Yeah. Their own 12 straight up and against spread over that time period. They did it. They won as a favorite. They finally manage expectations.
1:30:30PFT Commenter:Yes. Yeah. I mean, they kick the shit out of them, which it's like what you were saying last week, memes with the levels games. Levels games are important. Like the Panthers might not be a world beater, but they're a lot better than the Atlanta Falcons as currently stated. I don't know. I do think the Falcons, if they get just any other quarterback, they'll definitely look a lot better because they have all the weapons. But man, is it a tough watch? So the Falcons fans were booing their offense in the first quarter, like halfway through the first quarter. Rightfully so. Very much rightfully so.
1:31:04I just don't remember the last time that Falcons fans have booed their own team. They don't strike me as a boo-your-own-team crowd. Yeah.
1:31:12PFT Commenter:But I like it. Yeah. I mean, they're a bad team, man. Because they've had some stinkers. They're a bad team. Really, really bad. I feel bad for Kevin Stefanski. it's a tough it's a tough go they're a tough watch I'm concerned why it took Stefanski three quarters to bench Cooper Rush is he just hoping that things that Cooper Rush got better I don't know the Falcons are the first team since 2008 Rams to have no red zone plays in the first two games of the season that's really hard to do to not even get like just stumble into the red zone once that's that's incredible i hope that michael pinnix is is healthy because if he's not they're going to be putting so much pressure on him to say that he's healthy yes oh yeah he's gonna have to play but it's gonna be yeah stefanski's like knocking on his door a few times a day at the facility and just be like hey how you feeling yeah can i get you anything yeah it's it's they're they they have five turnovers through two games uh pick six for uh two straight weeks Not a single play in the red zone Next two games on the road Next three games in primetime Yikes Yikes, yikes, yikes That is your Atlanta Falcons Oh Colts Gonna maybe Oh my god I think he was down Chiefs magic Oh my god This is crazy Body language, he's acting like that was a fumble I think he was That was a...
1:32:50How? Touched. Touched.
1:32:52PFT Commenter:All right. All right. Not touched. Wait, was he touched before he went down? I think he may have been touched before. That's a fumble. Somebody might have grazed him. But did he have the ball? He's touched. No, but he didn't have possession. No, but he didn't have the ball. He didn't have the ball. Possession, up. This is great. This is great podcasting. This is great podcasting. Somebody give us a breakdown. Mike Pereira, go. Let's get Butterworth on the line. Oh, man. Man, that is the Chiefs, man, is what they do. I don't know. Maybe. All right. Do you have – they're being touched. Does he have possession?
1:33:26Does he have possession? He's being touched. He has possession. He's being touched.
1:33:30PFT Commenter:Kind of. PFT, do a couple ads. The kind of was not – oh, man. Oh, man. Do a couple ads, PFT, while we wait for the call here. I'm doing a couple ads while we wait for the call on Sunday Night Football, and this is part of my take and it's brought to you by some of our very, very good friends. What, Hank? I don't know. It's golf. Yeah, it's golf. I was trying to think of something deeper, but it's golf. No, it's golf. And, you know, there's a lot of people that are in sports, athletics. Golf is a big sport for going to therapy, figuring out what's going on between the ears, exercising that muscle a little bit.

1:35:06PFT Commenter:Okay, we're back. We still have a review. I don't know what's going to happen. What do you guys think? I think, unfortunately, that's going to be Chiefs ballgame. I think that's going to be game over. Laquan Treadwell still in the league. Yeah. Yeah. Good for him. Yeah. Good point, memes. Positive. I'm going to go with down. Yeah. Was it down? Down? How down? Although. How down is down? Who's down? I think. He could have been down. I think if this was a Chiefs player, he'd be down, but it is the Chiefs. Oh. The Chiefs is the Chiefs. The Chiefs are the Chiefs. Damn. I think that they might, if it was the Chiefs, they would break out some rule we have never heard of before.
1:35:50PFT Commenter:The player was, they're renouncing it. Down by contact, please. Oh. It looks like they're not celebrating. Call reversed. Call reversed. Colts still alive. First on. First on. Okay. And we play on. And we play on. Okay. Where are we? Oh, Browns 29 bucks 19 or 26 bucks 19. Zach. Yeah. You go into a game like this. You just think, hey, season or a home opener Browns. These are going to go great. And then things just don't go good. And they continue to not go good. And then when you get beat by the Deshaun Watson and the Browns. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. First in the Todd bowl. It's the first matchup of two teams whose head coaches are both named Todd in NFL history.
1:36:46And they're both Todd Roberts. Oh. Both have the same middle name. Yeah.
1:36:49PFT Commenter:I said it at the start of the show, Zach, and it was like half tongue in cheek. You know, my quarterback got injured. PFT's quarterback got injured. But neither of us lost to Deshaun Watson in the Browns. I, you know, it didn't look good. It didn't look good at all. It felt like a lot of the passes were behind the line of scrimmage. and the passes that were above the line of scrimmage were just way out of reach for guys to catch. Yeah. There's one silver lining. You know, Bucky Irvin did his thing. He's a dog. Bucky Irvin was really good. He played so good. This also was a crazy game because it took five hours and 15 minutes to play the whole game because there was a two-hour delay, and it just was brutal.
1:37:28PFT Commenter:If you're a Bucs fan, to have to wait all that time then to come back and lose. And I thought, like, the live line had the Bucs' favorites. They were in the better position. They had second and four on the 26 with two minutes left. You should be able to score from there. How do you come out of that rain delay just not a single duck in a row? You just come out sloppy. It made no sense. Yeah, they were in disarray. And I think that, yeah, it is tough because you go into that rain delay and you're already feeling like you're losing the game. Yeah. So you spend that two hours reading stats about the game, thinking about what's gone wrong so far.
1:38:01So it's like you almost deal with one loss, and then you come back out and then you get another loss on top of that. So that's a tough way to lose, especially considering it's against the Browns.
1:38:13PFT Commenter:It sounded like Todd Munkin had the better plan in the rain delay. He said afterwards about the two-hour lightning delay, we fueled, we hydrated, we played music, we kept the vibe up. We said we were in the driver's seat. And then after the game, he said, the Browns are going to Browns F that. Wait, did he say F that or fuck that? I don't know if he said, I think he said F that. All right. All right, Todd. Todd's feeling him, son. I see you, Todd. Todd's feeling him. I mean, listen. First win for Todd Munkin in the NFL as a head coach. He said everyone gets a game ball. I don't care what it costs.
1:38:46PFT Commenter:Kellen Moore, you've been put on notice. That's pretty cool. Everyone gets a game ball. Also, maybe the Browns found something. Have the entire media, Cleveland media, and everyone in the NFL leak that Deshaun Watson is about to lose his job. and then you get a decent Deshaun Watson because he wasn't that bad today. Well, I mean, he had about half of what the expectation is for Deshaun Watson. He had 238 yards passing and two touchdowns. Correct. But they put his job on the hot seat. Like all these reports came out before, like they're going to evaluate after these games. Yeah. Yeah. So, yeah, good game for Deshaun.
1:39:20Maybe like a five-dimensional chess move by Todd Mungin. There was one point in the game. I still need to try to find the footage of this. but the announcer said Todd Munkin has dropped to his knees on the sidelines in despair about something. It was the fourth quarter. They only had two timeouts left, and they called one of them with like eight minutes to go, and they were either down a little bit or up a little bit, but they had to call the timeout. I need to see Todd Munkin dropping to his knees in despair on the sidelines. Todd Munkin has fallen. He has fallen, sir. Do you think, did the Browns make the right decision trading for Deshaun, getting rid of Baker?
1:39:58PFT Commenter:So far in this game, yes. Week two of the 2026 season, yes. Yeah. It's time to ask the question. Yeah. Should they extend Deshaun? Imagine. It'd be the funniest thing ever. What are the boys laughing about in the booth? Meme just screamed it smells like pussy in here when the Colts decided to not go for it on fourth down. Oh. All right. So that's what we were laughing at. We're podcasting over here. Tell him. You should turn on your mic when you have to say it. All right, we're going to maybe have a tie. Three minutes left for the Chiefs. We deserve a tie. That'd be fun. Chiefs are going to win with the Harrison Bucker field goal.
1:40:39And Todd Bowles said after the game, nobody is coming to save us. Okay. Which is not really that motivational of a message, I think, to send to your team.
1:40:48PFT Commenter:Sounds like he's stranded. Yeah. Sounds like he's looking for a new quarterback. He might be looking to get stranded. Yes. Strand. No one's coming to save us. like that's not if you're a Buck and that's Todd's message to you after the game you're not looking forward to coming to work on Monday. Incredibly uninspirational yeah it was Sean outplayed Baker today. Baker had a bad day I don't know the offensive line for the Bucks was supposed to be the strength and it doesn't look that way I don't also I mean this is why I said when we finished last season is like how do you bring Todd Bowles back?
1:41:24PFT Commenter:It feels like you're back the bucks have uh since week eight of last season when i think they started like six and one or something like that they they've gone three and ten three and ten since week eight of last season the only teams with the worst record are the titans commanders and cardinals yeah so they've also lost 11 straight against the spread that's hard to do they make the spread so it's like you know it's it should be you should be about 500 against the spread 11 straight against the spread i was shocked when i saw that 3 and 10 stat um but it does also kind of remind you how hot the bucks were at the start of last year yeah they were really but this is like a really good team in terms of closing out uh tough games but if a coach goes three and eight to end a season and it's his third year and like you have the best roster in the nfc south you'd think you wouldn't bring him back they brought it back and now you start oh and two seems like we're just doing it again.
1:42:21Because we are. Right. It's literally what they're doing. And Zach, this is a tough one to get over, I think, for you. Yeah, it wasn't a fun watch whatsoever. I know on paper it looks like Deshaun cut us up a little bit, but a lot of those yards are just after the catch and we're just missing routine tackles and they're getting by two, three guys that shouldn't... I don't know. It was a lot of yards out there that shouldn't happen because the defense was playing sloppy as well. At one point, Baker left the huddle. He's holding his lower back. That made me a little nervous. I'm not sure what that is, but...
1:42:50Yeah, we go from here. I'm not going to – it's week two, so Tom Bowles is the coach. I want him to do as good as he possibly can, you know what I mean? But it doesn't – it just feels like Groundhog's Day a little bit.
1:43:01PFT Commenter:Yeah. Yeah. Doesn't feel good. Also, Dom, I didn't see Dom for six hours, and then he just turns the corner. He was pretty loud. With a dog bone necklace on. Yeah, what are we – He keeps talking about his lucky dog bone necklace. you can't have any lucky anything if you're a browns fan there can't be like oh every time i bring out the lucky dog bone that doesn't make any sense yeah the only i guess what would it what would it were when you beat the steelers in the playoffs at one time yeah but then what where's it been he's worn it many weeks if you have anything that's lucky it's it's long since crossed over and become unlucky from the times that you've had to wear it yeah you look at the expiration date on that lucky and it's it's long since gone it would have been buried in the backyard several several years ago and dug up today yeah then it might be lucky if it was a new thing but yeah the lucky dog bone i don't i don't understand that but good for the browns i'm at listen browns fans are diehards and they deserve a win in something nice especially this early in the season you're one and one now who do you got oh this now i'm actually nervous about this.
1:44:10PFT Commenter:So Dude Wipes did a promo where next week if they beat the Panthers by 22 or more, they're giving out. Or do they not play the Panthers next week? They do. They do. The Browns, Max, you're not locked in. Max just looked up the Buccaneers high noon on Fox. If they beat them by 22 or more, Dude Wipes is giving someone$50 ,000. And I said to PFT, should we match? Browns might be good. I think we should be scared to match. I think we should match. And And I'm going to throw in a new toilet as well. Okay. I'll buy a Browns fan a toilet. Let's go 23 or more. So that way we're not just totally taking their...
1:44:48PFT Commenter:It's like a Browns ladder. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. 23 or more Browns beat... If the Browns beat the Panthers by 23 or more, PFT and I will find one lucky Browns AWL and give them$50 ,000 total. And a toilet. And a toilet. Yeah. Two toilets. You're going to match? Yeah, I'll match your toilet. That's huge. Yep. I don't think anyone's ever... We'll have to make... Shane, make a graphic for it. It's going to be a big game. No one's ever won two toilets before, I don't think. $50 ,000 in two toilets. That's pretty fucking huge. 23 points or more. Yeah. There's no way. There's no way. This is going to be a hell of a gambling game if they're up like 17 late.
1:45:27I mean, Deshaun didn't look bad today.
1:45:30PFT Commenter:No. No. And there were even some drops that got left on the field. Yeah. Denzel Boston. Did you see his quote about his big catch and run? He said, wait, I got to find it. It was very funny. He said, after I spun out, I see green grass. I'm to the house. I'm to the Baja. I don't know what Baja. Okay. But that's what he was thinking when he was running. The bottom? I'm to the Baja. I'm to the bottom. I don't know. To the Baja. Okay. The Chiefs and Colts, by the way, are in overtime with two minutes left. tied 30 to 30. It feels like the Chiefs need like 15 more yards. Harrison Bucker's going to kick a 50.
1:46:11Tie would be sick. Four-yarder for the win. Tie would be sick. I've seen this game so many times.
1:46:18PFT Commenter:By the way, hand up on this show. Remember last week, did we not do who's going to win a game first, the Dolphins or the Browns? Yeah. We were very wrong. Very, very wrong. Browns, not the worst team in the NFL. They're not even bottom two. I think they're... I mean, power rankings-wise, the Bucs have to be worse. Yeah, I went too. Yeah. The Dolphins are worse. The Titans are worse. The Chargers are worse. Yeah. Commanders, worse. Zach, is season over? I was there a little bit ago. I was thinking that. Like, hey, let's just move on. Let's go to Nick Sixers opener. You guys can still win the South, though.
1:46:56That's the thing. It's like our division is so bad that every year you think somebody's got to win it. Why not us?
1:47:03PFT Commenter:Right. No one's 2-0. No, it's just I think Panthers have a win. Saints have a win. And it's completely open still. So I'm not out of it whatsoever. We go to Vikings next week. Football starts week three. We go from there. Okay. Football starts week three. You're still going to go to war with Todd Bowles, though. Have to. Have to go to war with Todd Bowles. Who do you want to play with the Vikings? Do you want to play against Kyler? Or do you want to try your luck with Wentz? Wentz of soda. I would like to play Kyler. Kenneth Walker is so fucking good, dude Chiefs is the Chiefs The Chiefs is the Chiefs Colts gonna cover, though Well, I guess, yeah I shouldn't have said that Maybe That was famous last words Those famous last words Had enough We'll talk college football on Wednesday But I was on the wrong side of NC State And I was paralyzed For about an hour Shocking Just sitting in just silence And then I had UNC Clemson right after.
1:48:02PFT Commenter:And I said, what am I doing? Why am I doing this? It was quite something. Just sitting there on my couch. Not speaking. Okay. Afternoon games. Broncos 20, Jaguars 13. Broncos are back. That looked in the first half like the Broncos season was going to be over. Because we had the Jaguars come out. Looked good. Looked like they hadn't changed anything from last week. and the way they ended last season. Then, and we also had a really bad Bo Nix interception at the end of the second quarter. Really bad. But the Broncos defense showed up in the second half. Bo Nix started finding Jalen Waddell. He found him in the first half as well.
1:48:45PFT Commenter:And I see the vision. I see the vision with Jalen Waddell. He was explosive. It was cool to see. The Broncos defense played really well, especially in the second half. That Riley Moss interception kind of changed the whole flow of the game. and then they were pinning their ears back. They were getting to Trevor Lawrence. Broncos, not as bad as they looked week one. That was a dog shit interception, that Trevor Lawrence. Oh, yeah. Third and six, tough down to throw on. We all know that. But it was a terrible decision. It was very clearly that Riley Moss had the inside position. Don't know why through that.
1:49:17He described it as a very bad interception. And it was kind of like a little bit of the Broncos that we saw last year. It's nice to be like, okay, maybe that wasn't a complete mirage from last season. And yeah, it did to me going into I said this on Friday show, but it did feel like the the Jaguars like they could not be any higher than they were. And then the Broncos public Monday Night Football in front of the entire world. Ugly loss looked like the worst possible team that possible iteration themselves that they have been for the last two seasons. So it was nice to see that the Broncos still have some of that shit in them from last year.
1:49:52PFT Commenter:Yes, yes, I'd agree that in their defense, especially the second half look like that, where they were harassing Trevor Lawrence, getting him off his spot. We did have a couple of funny things happen in this game. Liam Cohen got an unsportsmanlike penalty, which after a Travis Hunter pass interference, that was funny. I watched the replay. I think he just said, what the fuck is going on here? I don't know why that would be a flag, but that kind of sucked for Liam Cohen. And we also had – I was thinking about it. The Davis Webb offensive coordinator thing with Sean Payton. Sean Payton is actually a genius because you can move Davis Webb upstairs.
1:50:35PFT Commenter:I forgot about that. He's downstairs right now. Sean Payton actually did give him an attaboy and was like, good job at the end of the game. They showed that. But there was a moment Chiefs win 33-30. We'll get to that game at the end. So Davis Webb in the first half, I noticed it. They were cutting to him a lot and like the frustration. it feels like that was a, I'm not saying that Sean Payton told him that, but when you have your offensive coordinator front and center like that, being like, this is the guy, this is the problem. This is the problem. This is the problem. He was on the hot seat. It felt like in the first half, even though the interception was bone X, not Davis web, then second half, they found their rhythm and Jalen Waddle looked great.
1:51:15PFT Commenter:So Davis web, he's okay. And Sean Payton, again, smart move to give the actual buffer that you can always move them upstairs as your next course of action, not just fire him and take control. And then you can move him back. You can move him back. You can move him right back down, and that might solve some things. Yes. Yeah, I don't know what to make of the Broncos, just like I didn't know too much what to make of them last season. I think they're going to be a team that if they get the breaks go their way, they will be involved in the playoffs. But I don't think that they're – I don't know. I still haven't seen any improvement from them from last year.
1:51:50PFT Commenter:I'll say this. Bo Nix, winner. like fifth career win when trailing by double digits he's been in the nfl for three years that's i mean you're never out of it with bo nicks sometimes he'll put you in that double digit hole but it'll also be a part of the reason why you can get out of it and he he threw the nicely like deep i just sean payton's wife you had a good fantasy day yeah good job um yeah i mean a lot of the a lot of the mistakes that have been made i don't necessarily think that you can point to davis webb and say this is his fault no i think that it's going to be very convenient that if their offense doesn't have a good game, of course one of the first things people are going to say is like, well, you have a Hall of Fame play caller, and he's not calling plays.
1:52:32Correct. Why?
1:52:33PFT Commenter:Correct. But in reality, sometimes players do stupid shit. Yeah. Trevor Lawrence had a 19.8 passer rating in the second half, so that tells you what the Broncos defense was able to do and dial up. Do you guys want to do a real quick idiot jazz? Because I don't know why this popped in my head, but it did. I think it was because I was just looking back through this game and I was like, you know, I know what changed the game. It was the Riley Moss interception. Riley Moss might be the 1-1 name in the NFL for could be a hot porn star. Do you guys agree? There's not a lot of guy names that could be girl names.
1:53:15PFT Commenter:Right. Riley Moss. So then I looked at it. The Broncos might be the 1-1 team right now in the NFL for hot porn stars because Bo Nix could be a hot porn star too. Riley Moss, I think you'd have to change it to Nicky Bonito, but Nicky Bonito would be like if it was N-I-K-K-I. And then Tyler Batty might just be a hot guy porn star. Tyler Batty's good. They might lead the league in porn star. You're saying like Bone. No. Bone X. I think Bone X could be a chick's name too. Packers got a couple. Packers got. So I looked it up. What about. I went through a couple. Yeah. Jordan Love is a good one. Sky Moore.
1:53:58PFT Commenter:Sky Moore. Jordan Love. Basial Tootin. No. I don't think that's. No. Facial Tootin. Yeah. But it's like actual porn star names. Yeah. The Vikings sneaky have a decent porn star team because they had. I was looking through it. DJ Dallas. Like this could be guy or girl porn star DJ Dallas Cameron Cameron Dantzler could be a chick Jordan Addison could be a chick Dallas Turner could be I think both and then Bo Richter is like a dude with like a 16 inch cock yeah Bo Richter Bo Richter is pretty good and then I went even deeper again I'm sorry this is really stupid that this spent I spent 15 minutes of my time prepping for games and I went through this I think the winner though would be the 2024 Miami Dolphins because the 2024 Miami Dolphins had Skylar Thompson.
1:54:49PFT Commenter:That is a hot chick porn star name. Kendall Fuller. Yeah. Also hot chick porn star name. Kendall Lamb. Storm Duck, which I don't even know what that would be. River Craig Craft. Storm Duck is a producer. Yeah. And then David Long would be a dude, but David Long would work. Yeah. I'm trying to think what else we got. If I had more time, I think I could go historically. right now lad mcconkey sounds like a bears got a dude porn star bears had a few yeah devin bush yeah kyle menungay sky thomas sky any sky sky works colston loveland there's something yes that is big time we should do the all maybe we do that like gruden grinders but we just do the all porn star team we should do that we should actually do that yeah the the the one that i think also part of why I was thinking this with Riley Moss is that the Broncos did have a classic could be a hot porn star in Ashley Lee.
1:55:47PFT Commenter:Remember him? Yep. Ashley Lee was a hot. That's a hot girl name. Every time I saw Ashley Lee, I was like, that should be a hot chick. Yeah, maybe we'll do this. Is he the only Ashley to play? I think he might be. We should do this, though. We should do the all porn team for names. Sam Knight would be another good one. Yeah, that's good. That's good. Max Strong would be a good guy porn star name. You can do both. It doesn't have to just be chicks. Colson Loveland is good. You're right. But I think you have to have... What were your other... Sky? Cam Lewis is another one. You need to have a... DJ Dallas.
1:56:27PFT Commenter:Yeah, it needs to be... I said that for the Vikings. You need to have equal guy and girl. You can't just be like all guys. Because they got to be fucking each other. Yeah, right. Exactly. The Skylar Thompson, Kendall Fuller Dolphins, though. Come on. Anyone named Kareem? Kareem, yeah. Either way, something we should maybe do at some point. We'll just do the all 22 of porn star names. Skylar Thompson has to be starting quarterback. Skylar Thompson, yeah. 100%. Skylar. I think so. Skylar's a stripper name. It just is. Jordan Love is. Jordan Love is pretty damn good. You're right. You're right. You're right.
1:57:04PFT Commenter:Frankie Louvoo. Yeah. Frankie, yeah. For a check. Frankie, yeah. Yeah, Frankie for a check. Yeah, yeah. That absolutely could play. Okay. That was all I had there. Broncos win, though. Broncos are back. It looks a lot like it did last year. Yeah. I'd agree. At its best times. I'd agree. I'd agree. And there's something about Bo Nix that you just can't quit him. That interception he threw in the second quarter was so, so bad. It was awful. Just, like, chucked it up. And again, that's not something that Davis Webb had on the play sheet. Yeah. That was just Bo being Bo. It was one of those situations where I was like, I think I'm done with the Broncos.
1:57:46PFT Commenter:And then he was back. It was like, all right, he's fine. So I don't know.
1:57:56PFT Commenter:I can't quit Bo Nix, even though sometimes I really, really, really want to. All right. Let's take a break for two more ads. 2:00:09PFT Commenter:okay uh shane get in here sit he's got his chargers poncho are you bolted shane raiders 26 always bolted chargers 14 shane i told you before but the los angeles chargers will be my pinky team they're so bad they're not going to win the super bowl it's a great choice it's the only time i've ever felt like fully fully safe and i looked it up because i know people are going to get upset the Chargers before the season had on DraftKings sports they had hold on I'm going to pull it up I believe they had 15 to 1 odds so what? 15 to 1 odds so for people like oh they never had a chance to win the Super Bowl or they were 17 to 1 they were 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8 team they were ahead of the Texans they were ahead of the Niners, the Lions, the Broncos the Bengals the Bears the Cowboys that's it that's a team that was in the conversation you know Super Bowl aspirations they are dog shit Shane yeah it's not good and their schedule right now these were the two games that you had to win had lost both of them the schedule from this point on is the second hardest in the entire NFL I think it's someone did the like went through all the analytics and in the last 10 years it's like the third hardest schedule any team's had since like 2017 yeah you guys are getting fucked now yeah where do we who let's do the blame game let's start the blame you want to get the pie out yeah let's get the blame pie out we're going to talk about the raiders because raiders do need some love starting 2-0 for the first time it feels like forever and you know kirk cousins was awesome today let's cut the pie though okay how much do you deserve i think you look ridiculous yeah you invited me on the couch Ridiculous.
2:01:55Ridiculous. I look like I look normal. I would never wear something that ridiculous. I didn't wear any Chargers gear today. So you asked me to come on the couch. I have to come bolt it up. No, no, no. It's like a punishment that like we made you wear
2:02:06PFT Commenter:this and I just punishment. Yeah, I want I want it on the record. You were wearing that before I asked you to come on the show. That's not true. Yes, it is. He was walking around in that all afternoon. They were. Yeah, I mean, literally memes. I said you're going gonna have to come on tonight i said it to him while he was wearing this i'm still bolted up like max that was true i i don't think that's true that's an insane no you did you did tell me that you wanted me on the show after so i put it on i thought you were wearing that is that yeah so okay all right fine you were wearing it at some point yeah yeah after okay my bad but i needed like i need to pump myself up my bad i apologize max i don't know jim harbaugh is a big one okay I think there's just a lot of dumb decisions.
2:02:53They've been platooning guards, so every other drive, they're just swapping out a guard. That's really smart. Yeah, really smart. I've never heard of that before. Really consistent. Really helps with the offense. Do they have a reason? I don't know. I blame Mike McDaniel to an extent. I just think the Greg Roman offense they were running, that's like kindergarten. That's like the most basic offense there is, and now Mike McDaniel's coming in. He's throwing in all these motions and everything. However long training camp was, it just wasn't long enough for them to get in tune with everything. Everything's so timing-based.
2:03:25One person makes a mistake and throws off the whole play. So I could see a possibility where in these next few games, they get momentum going and offense starts to click. Okay. But it's not looking good right now. These two games, I said before the Cardinals game, both of these are must-wins. This is like... The loss of both. Yeah. But if you lose back-to-back must-wins, that's tough. Yeah.
2:03:48PFT Commenter:Really tough. We're going to have to make up. I mean, what if you're just not? What if we look back and you're like, actually, yeah, the Raiders and Cardinals were better than the Chargers. You could. I mean, you could make the case that the Cardinals, like, I think Cardinals are pretty underrated. No, I think the Cardinals are bad. They got absolutely sucked. Well, yeah, but I mean. But the Raiders might not be bad. Even before the game, I was telling Colton, like, I could see a path where the Cardinals win. But. Okay. The Chargers defense is a big problem. It's like Staley level bad. It was a little better today, but what about?
2:04:21PFT Commenter:Well, I mean, Kirk Cousins, like he was lighting you guys up. Three touchdowns. I mean, he was throwing it deep, too. That was my big thing. When I said he played goodish week one, it's because he couldn't throw the deep ball. Today, he did. It was like two broken plays, though. It's like miscommunication with safeties. I don't know. Obviously, I'm not. What about when you snap the ball while Trey Harris was in motion and it hit him? Yeah, that's what I was talking about. They need to practice more is what I'm hearing. Yeah. Yeah, Herbert said after that it was just like time was running out. He was trying to rush it.
2:04:50There might have been a couple days where Harbaugh was like, hey, I know that we don't have practice and I can't make you guys come in, but it'd be really good. Maybe come in your day off. Yeah. What about Herbert?
2:05:01PFT Commenter:Does he get any blame? Of course. Yeah? How much? Greatest of all time. The last game, a lot more blame than he should get this game. There was some really bad receiver plays. Did you see first drive? Did you see the Rondé Gadsden just like bat the ball away from from Brandon Johnson? He threw a good he was playing defense and yeah our tight end was playing defense and then did the Njoku interception like just a bunch of crazy plays. There's a whole shot to Quentin Johnson. He just didn't catch. There's just like a bunch of mistakes everywhere. We are we're driving down the field to tie the game and Amari and Hampton fumbles the ball.
2:05:37it's like yeah that was a great i'm watching this oh right now this is a great breakup by
2:05:43PFT Commenter:gadsden it was crazy yeah you didn't like hank making those noises no he just ummed me yeah i mean he was the way you know i felt bad i felt i felt your pain and the way you said he fumbled the ball just that's just like yeah ramondi's the worst stevenson's does it fucking five times a game yeah okay uh get it off your chest hank yeah get off your chest i don't know i've been pretty open about like how bad it is yeah can i give you uh a stat which i know you've probably seen have you seen the stat i'm about to say is it the andrew luck stat no oh no no how much of the blame pie does uh miss beer get i think she gets a small piece of the pie wow but definitely i think definitely a piece of the pie yeah you're gonna have to yeah no those that pie's for you that's say yeah yeah what's the set let's hear all right team salus back-to-back home games by double digits against teams with a sub 200 winning percentage the previous season the last one was like that it was like the akron wizards or something uh no close it is the 2026 los angeles chargers and the 1926 racine tornadoes now here's the problem shane the racine tornadoes they did this in 1926.
2:07:00PFT Commenter:They then played one more game. Then they dissolved as a franchise. They never played another game. They just ceased to exist. So you're on franchise dissolution watch. If history had told us anything, you are going to play one more game and then just never be a franchise again. Also, fun fact, Mitt Romney's dad was the quarterback for them in 1922. That's a very fun fact. Or 24, I believe. The Racine Tornado. That's a crazy stat. They had one more game, and then they quit. They also were led by a fullback slash kicker, Hank Gillow. And the two games, these two games, same score. Ended the same score, 26-14.
2:07:41PFT Commenter:You guys want to guess the size of their fullback? I think he was probably 5 '11 and 205 pounds. Close. 5 '10, 195 pounds. Wow. Yeah. That's their fullback. He's probably a beast. He probably also built a railroad and in the offseason was an incredible plumber. He probably was a World War I veteran. Yeah. Can I share a stat with you? This isn't really. Please. It's a pretty random stat, but I just had it in the pocket. Sorry. Pietta said no. Yeah. Not interested. It's a Chargers stat? It's a Justin Herbert stat. Yeah. All right. What do you think? You want the Justin Herbert stat? Yeah. Okay. Andrew Luck in 94 games was sacked 185 times.
2:08:31Justin Herbert in 99 games. This was before this last game. How many times was he sacked?
2:08:37PFT Commenter:Andrew Luck, how many games again? 94 games, 185 times. Justin Herbert, 99 games. And this stat was from before today's game. I'm going to guess it was 241 times. I would say 375. pft saw the stat i get it yeah it's right on the dot 241 i did have this written up that's written down for today okay so he's been sacked 241 times 99 games 2.3 2.43 sacks per game now isn't a sack partially a quarterback stat it is it is so that's what i was saying when you're i saw all those clips of uh of last week where you had like three guys blocking one dude and some of that is on the offensive line yes but i think some of it's also on the quarterback Yeah, that one play from last week, I mean, I don't know if Harbaugh is just like throwing the Trey Harris under the bus.
2:09:29He was like he was saying that basically in the Shanahan offense or whatever, they have like these outs for when a lot of pressures come to the quarterback. Because when a lot of the guys come, there's space behind them. And Trey Harris was supposed to run an out route and he ran in instead. So there's nobody behind those guys. So Herbert kind of had to eat the sack. At least that's what he said. Maybe he was just like taking blame away from Herbert.
2:09:51PFT Commenter:but how's the uh did you listen to the bolt up podcast how are these boys doing i didn't it's it's hard to click on the podcast when the vibes are this low right now yeah yeah i think i will eventually but making the noises again i agree it is funny to just think about you like you're you're too upset to click the link for the podcast i mean i might at some other point but i just i don't really want to hear right now about how bad everything is i know how bad everything is I thought that Khalil Mack had a good quote in the postgame. They asked him what the message from Coach Harbaugh was. And he goes, honestly, I just blanked out the whole time.
2:10:27I don't really know. That's exactly what you want to hear. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, no. I've never heard that. Oh, no. I think Khalil Mack's allowed to say this. He goes, my mind was on the game, but I feel like it had something to do with picking up the pieces and getting this thing right. Yeah. Just kind of like doing the word salad that might be what Harbaugh said after the game.
2:10:45PFT Commenter:Yeah. It's such a shame. like every time we get like maximum hope for a season like we got kellen moore and the offense was like the team was shit we have greg roman team's fine and then we get mike mcdaniel and then it's like shit again and it's like yeah blow it up is what uh guilty is charged has it uh that's what they're saying yeah blow it all i was uh it went from crossroads to blow it up i i would be lying if i didn't say that jeremiah smith had crossed my mind at some point today wait go keep scroll over i want to see what the all right it went from uh lad dnp patience question mark balderdash crossroads blow it up that's a pretty good stretch there for guilty as charged yeah shout out those guys those guys are awesome so what does blow it up mean because when i hear blow it up i'll tell you what i think toilet no i was just gonna say everybody everybody's gone yeah no like fire harbaugh i'm not saying this i'm saying herbert blow it up means harbaugh fired mcdaniels fired herbert fired fired herbert fanboys will never never turn on her that's uncomfortable conversations about herbert there's a lot of vikings fans who are trying to get something going oh that would be that vikings would be good so the chargers they're 0-2 with losses to teams that picked first and third yep in last year's draft that's probably the first time that's ever happened yeah what they're making noises oh yeah sorry i mean teams teams can turn around you saw the patriots last year like maybe that's just me being hopeful but okay Yeah, that's all right.
2:12:36My pinky's on the line now. I can't be. Your schedule is the second hardest. Did you say in the history of the NFL? Third hardest, yeah. Patriots didn't have that schedule. What do you mean? No, they did not. Patriots also turned around in week two. Yeah. What do you mean they didn't have that? They did lose to the Raiders. Yeah, but then. That was week one. Then we won week two. Yeah. Then won our fucking roll. No, I know, but mentally, I just can't be. I can't be out on the season yet. I agree with you. You can't. You want to.
2:13:04PFT Commenter:No, no. You still want to believe that. We choose to rule. Yeah, of course. Yes. I agree with that. I agree with that. I don't know. Hey, you didn't lose to the Browns. They can click. We didn't lose to the Browns yet. Right. You lost to the Cardinals at home, and then you lost to the Raiders. Yeah, we didn't lose to Sean Watson and the Browns. Yes, Memes. Memes has a question for you. I don't know why Max is. When are you ready to call the season? When am I ready to call the season? Good question. We've got the Bills next week. Yeah, Bills is not going to be fun. I don't know the exact I know it's like Bills, Rams, Niners Bills, at Seahawks, at home against Broncos, at Chiefs, at Rams If there's a team that you could maybe get right though in terms of offensively the Bills might be it Bills don't have Max Crosby It was perfect that there was the game ended on a safety from a holding in the end zone I know.
2:13:57PFT Commenter:Joe Alt has not been good I mean he was good last week Today he was not. He had three penalties today. Rashawn Slater had another. He had four himself? Yeah. The whole offensive line is fucking. We had$100 million in cap space. Yes, Max. Okay. Best case scenario, where do you see your record after week seven? Good question. At Bills, at Seahawks, home against the Broncos, at Chiefs, at Rams. Best? That sounds like. What is, how many weeks is that? Seven? Seven weeks. Best? I think three and four. I think three and four, but you beat the Broncos and the Chiefs. I think we split with them this year.
2:14:35That's what I thought going into it.
2:14:36PFT Commenter:If you could beat them, you're in it. That's still not three and four. No, no. Win one other game, too. And then you win one of that Seahawks at Rams. Sam Donald's not playing. Rams isn't even an away game, dude. Puna Fork should go right across the locker room. Seriously. We'll take him. No, you can't take him. He's on the other team. No, but I would take him in a heartbeat. Well, yeah, obviously. There's trades that happen in the NFL. Yeah, true. They got your Donald back. They don't eat puno. He's mansplaining the NFL to you. PFT, go ahead. He told me something couldn't happen that could happen.
2:15:11True.
2:15:12PFT Commenter:Boy, Shane. He got you there. PFT. PFT. What do you think about Harbaugh not even being able to talk to the media after the game because the Raiders chants in their own city were too loud? That's been the story of SoFi for years. Yeah. I mean, the only way to fix that is to win games. Or you can leave. That's another way to fix it. I would love for them to be in San Diego. Yeah. That wasn't even a joke. No, I know. I agree. He has no allegiance to LA. He just likes the Chargers. I would love for him to be in San Diego. Yeah.
2:15:48There'd actually be a home field advantage. I don't know.
2:15:54PFT Commenter:Maybe Puna will come back. Thank you, Shane. Sorry. Maybe Puna will come back. That sucked. That was a really brutal game to watch. Yeah, it was really sad. We need to... The only way I can see us making plays... We have to get, like, 10 wins, and that's... So, I'll be out on the... If we start 0-6, 0-7, like, then it's... Still have hope. No return. Still have hope right now. That would be tough. Stranger things have happened. Yeah. And also, here's a good thing, is my pinky team, I think, like, two years in a row has made the playoffs. Yeah. Starting 0-2. They always have to start 0-2. Yeah.
2:16:26PFT Commenter:So what if this is the year? Honestly. Yeah. Like next game, the offense could look great and things turn around. I'm just hoping that's the case. Yeah. Memes, you have one last question? For the pinky team, has anyone ever started 0-3 and made a run? I think the Texans the first year did. Did they not? That Texans year with Arian and J.J. Watt? They were 0-2. I know they were 0-2, but I think they might have lost the third game. Have you ever picked anyone's team that's On the podcast? No Would I be involved in the Yes you can cut it off Absolutely you can absolutely cut it off Perfect or gnaw it off you want to gnaw it off Like eat it?
2:17:07PFT Commenter:Yeah Let's win a game first Can I like Fucking hope for something Let him hope You're done You're done Let him dream about Biting Big Cat's pinky off Yeah. It's mean what you're doing right now. Come on, Max. Max loves to just kick me on down. Yeah, Hank's making the noises. Yeah, Hank, he hates the Chargers. I picked the Chargers to go to the Super Bowl. You do hate the Chargers, Max. But why are you using the tic about them? Well, I'm just being realistic. Herbert was my MVP. You hate the Chargers, Max. Herbert, has anybody... I don't know. Wait, no, you said he was your least valuable player.
2:17:49You weren't listening, Max. I am. I'm looking at the Chargers schedule. I'm trying to figure out how they get back in this, and I just don't see it.
2:17:56PFT Commenter:The 2018 Texans, I believe, were my pinky team. They started 0-3. So there you go. So it's happened. Is Herbert, is he hurt? I don't think so. Because that's the next step in the Herbert apologist tour. Is he hurt? He's hurt right now, yeah. The other reason is I've been pretty upfront with Herbert when he sucks or not. Yeah. But this game, I don't think it was necessarily his. Okay. All right. Thank you, Shane. Thank you, guys. All right. Bolt up. Bolt up? Yeah. We always stay bolted. Raiders. Congrats. 2-0. This is awesome for Raiders fans. And Kirk Cousins looked good. Like I said, he looked better than good than last week.
2:18:35PFT Commenter:Max Crosby continues to be an absolute beast. Also, Kirk Cousins didn't have a run game today. And Brock Bowers still hasn't played. And he's coming back? Yeah. They're adding him back in a little bit, like a couple weeks, I think. The Raiders, man. I don't know. 2-0 is... It could end nowhere, but Raiders fans should cherish this moment, and 2-0 is such an awesome feeling to be like, oh, we're 2-0. That's such a cool feel. You got to start looking at the odds, like what percentage of 2-0 teams make the playoffs. You got to start thinking about all that stuff, and it seems like you have a very, very smart head coach.
2:19:12Kirk Cousins looks like he's taking... He looks like a 37-year-old out there. Yeah. He looks great.
2:19:18PFT Commenter:So good for the Raiders. Good for the Raiders. I mean, they have a tough schedule as well coming up, but it doesn't matter because you're 2-0. 2-0 buys you until at least like mid-October because like, oh, what, you're 2-3? You're still alive, you know? It gives you a nice wiggle room for the whole thing. Okay, a couple more games, and we'll get to these quick, and then we'll get to Cowboys-Commanders. Seahawks 31, Cardinals 7. Jackson Smith and Jigba is awesome. No duh. nine nine for 155 and three touchdowns the offense basically was like get into a situation where we need jsn find jsn and they did that and the seahawks defense the the cardinals were so overmatched so they they actually had one good they had a classic jacoby brissette like good drive to start after that drive for the final three quarters of the game this the the cardinals got had 75 total yards and if you take out the garbage time they had 24 yards in garbage time so even actually had less they had they had 51 total yards from the second quarter on excluding garbage time the seahawks defense suffocated them they allowed 39 yards on 14 carries and they had 18 qb pressures They just dominated.
2:20:39PFT Commenter:That was not a fair fight. They're a very, very good team still. Drew Locke is... I love Drew Locke. I don't know what it is about him. He might be my favorite backup quarterback in the NFL right now. Dude, because he's not a backup... He is a backup quarterback, but he's not. There's some guys that are backup quarterbacks. And the fact that Drew Locke has stuck around being essentially a starter in a backup role. Correct. He does not have that same mentality that most of the backups have. It's a testament to just how good he can be at his highs. And now there will be lows. Oh, yes. There will be lows with Drew Locke, but he is never going to doubt confidence in himself.
2:21:12He's going to go out there and keep slinging it. When you have JSN, he can do it. He can push the ball downfield like that. I think until the last minute of this game, JSN had all of the Seahawks touchdowns this year. And then I think they scored one rushing touchdown with a minute left in the game today. But just as dominant as he's ever been. And yeah, I fucking love watching Drew Locke sling the pill.
2:21:37PFT Commenter:Yeah, it's very fun. Seahawks have won 12 straight games. So 12 straight games. They're just really, really good. And they can wait till they're good enough that Sam Darnold doesn't have to rush back because their defense can beat just about anyone. So we had talked about these Cardinals jerseys when we first saw them this offseason. I actually thought they looked pretty good. They did. And it's mainly because you couldn't zoom in and see the splatter on them. But it was a good cream-colored helmet. Yeah. Good logo. I agree. Seahawks good. Cardinals not good. Yep. Cardinals good vibes from week one.
2:22:13PFT Commenter:Turns out chargers might be really bad. I mean, there's just a difference in skill level and everything between the sea. Like this is why Jacoby Brissett he's Jacoby Brissett did the classic Jacoby Brissett by winning the first game and having everyone think, oh, this is actually going to be a functional offense. Oh, this is going to be good. And it's not. All right. Second last game. I'm going to do this one real quick unless you have something else. Niners 35, Dolphins 13. The 49ers' first five possessions. 12 plays, 59 yards, touchdown. 8 plays, 71 yards, touchdown. 4 plays, 65 yards, touchdown.
2:22:47PFT Commenter:8 plays, 71 yards, touchdown. 2 plays, 28 yards, touchdown. First five possessions, five touchdowns. Game over. Thank you for coming out, Dolphins. Yeah, I just have one fun fact from this game. The Dolphins completed a quarterback sneak up the middle in this game. That was the first time that the Dolphins did that since week two of 2022. Oh, that's a two-a-stat. Yeah. So it's been four years since the Dolphins had run a successful quarterback sneak. Is that when you can finally move on? When you get rid of all the bad two-a-stats? I think that might be the last one. That's like, hey, we can finally walk away from this.
2:23:27PFT Commenter:The Dolphins are the worst team in the NFL, in my opinion. Yeah. The fact that they were given as the get right game for the the niners getting back from australia yeah no jet lag got the shit kicked out of them no if the rams lose this game on monday night football sean mcveigh is gonna look like the biggest dummy when it comes to the trying to time travel because the niners did not look bad like no no jet lag i thought that they would i mean i didn't think that they'd lose the dolphins but they came out and played perfect they played brock purdy was 20 for 22 yeah i was shocked i was shocked at how good they look considering how much time they just spent overseas yeah and and by the way george kiddo back beast and the last stat i had was uh christian mccaffrey is now only the third player all time to have 50 plus touchdowns with two different teams that's a pretty cool stat that's very cool so it's him marshall falk randy moss i thought your own bettis would be on there people forget he played for the ram he's a ram his rookie season yeah i think he was also rookie of the year yeah oh people forget that people forget that oh young people young people forget that okay last game not that young cowboys 37 commanders 20 yep pft yeah it happened again yeah the elbow the elbow thing happened again uh before the injury happened um i'll just talk about the first half real quick two really bad defenses going at it with each other um commanders probably worse than the cowboys uh but i thought jayden looked pretty good using the wheels uh throwing the ball down field pretty effectively i was feeling i was feeling good about things i was like at least this is going to be an exciting game at least we're going to get to see probably a shootout jayden looks like he's back to his old self and i didn't know how right i was that jayden looked like he was back to his old self.
2:25:18Because then at the end of the first half, commanders are going in. We decide to go for it at the end of the first half instead of kicking a field goal. And Jaden gets stepped on on the play, puts his arm down to brace himself, left hand, elbow bent back. And then they just showed that replay over and over and over and over again. I don't know how many times. It felt like they showed it 10 times. in the afternoon slate. So at that point, mentally, I kind of checked out on this game because, yeah, we were still in it, still had a chance to win or at least make it competitive. But if we're being completely honest, at that point, that was kind of the season flashing before my eyes.
2:26:03I think Jaden is probably, I don't know, they're going to do MRIs and stuff, but it's probably going to keep happening. his elbow is probably going to keep yeah falling off uh every time he goes to the ground or tries to brace himself from falling unless he gets the surgery yeah and then he wears a brace afterwards because this wasn't even that hard and he just put his arm down to kind of prop himself up and it snapped back and uh yeah it was um it was bad what do they say how long it's going to be So probably, if it's like it was last year, he hurt it against the Seahawks in a game that he should not have been in.
2:26:42And then he was all good to go four weeks after that, probably rushed it back, and immediately re-injured it against the Vikings. Is he going to have to get surgery this time? That's what I'm saying. He might try to play through it. And if he does play through it, he better wear the brace the entire time. And even if that happens, I'm just convinced that every time he gets tackled, his elbow... And there's a lot of bad tape of me specifically before the draft talking about how his elbow looked great.
2:27:07PFT Commenter:Oh. Like before he even became – because remember that one picture of his – Yeah, yeah, that looked all weird. It was like his right elbow that looked weird. But, yeah, it was gruesome to watch. It sucked. I'm thinking that – I don't want to – no, I don't want to say that. What? Say it. I'm just worried that the guy's body isn't made for tackle football. For the NFL. and college football maybe and he was so good in the first half like he he was back to his old self he was having a great game um and the defense was letting him down but uh at some point you have to be able to get tackled and not have your elbow look like it's completely disjointed from the human body yeah so i i hope that he gets the surgery i hope it gets fixed and then if he has to wear a race then i'll be okay with that uh because you can't call it a freak injury anymore right a freak injury doesn't happen three times in the span of like seven months now drew breeze apparently had the same thing happen to him i forgot about this drew breeze dislocated his elbow at the pro bowl oh yeah and then that was like 2008 and he came back had a a really good career after that so that kind of thing can't happen but he didn't dislocate his elbow three times because at that point it's just you know with jayden it's going to keep happening unless he gets the surgery so i'm thinking get the surgery get back 100 and some people are mad at dan quinn for putting him in in danger by like having him go out there and run that play if you truly think that you are a loser and like that's that's ridiculous right to be like oh well dan quinn should have been going for it at the end of the half no that's he put his quarterback in danger no he put his quarter He was going for to try to score a touchdown.
2:28:50He fell down.
2:28:51PFT Commenter:He got stepped on and fell down. You can't say. And even if he wasn't a step on and fall down, you're playing football. You're trying to win the game. You can't start coaching being like, well, he could get injured on this play. Yeah, you can't do that. You can't do that. So that's a terrible. Some people, I think, are just trying to be the first to have that take. Right. That's a ridiculous thing. I'd agree with that. Tom Brady hit me with a shit. Oh, shit. When he saw it. Yep. And then he hit me with a piss. when you talk about a piss missile later. Yep. Tom with a vulgar potty mouth on the air.
2:29:20Didn't really appreciate that for the kids out there. It sucked. It sucked seeing Jane get hurt again. And I was saying this on the stream. There's only like six. I'll put it this way. There's like eight teams in the NFL that you should, that their fans are sane to root for. and outside of those eight teams you're going to get shit on you're going to have a little bit of hope at the start of every year and you're going to be like oh well we finally found a reason why why we can turn this around we can become one of those eight teams that has a chance and then it never works out for those eight teams it just it just crashes down you will never break in to that club that's at the top where unless you're a fan of those eight teams being a football fan And an NFL fan is a miserable experience marked by periods of joy and hope that just exists so that they can crush you again.
2:30:18They make you think you're going to get to the top. And then you get something really, really cool and a great player that could turn everything around. And then it just gets taken away from you. And you never get there. But if you're a fan of those eight teams, football is great. But if you're not, you just think, oh, I'm up next. I'm going to be in that group eight. It'll be me. My suffering is over. and it's never going to happen that's the thing about football it's never going to happen look at the Chiefs tonight Mahomes is out for a year and he's just back being a Chiefs fan is awesome and then I got Jaden I was like I'm going to be the Chiefs you were for a year I'm not going to be the Chiefs it'll never happen but I thought
2:31:01PFT Commenter:I was almost the Chiefs maybe he's going to be it's not his throwing elbow Who do you guys think comes back first? It seems like Caleb. I'm also under the impression, like, everything I've said on this podcast today could just be completely irrelevant and, like, washed away if tomorrow I wake up and they're like, Caleb tore his hamstring. He's out for the season. I'm in a different spot than PFT in the fact that I thought it was Achilles. So anything less than Achilles, I was like, okay, we can deal with this. PFT knows what this is. it happened and it's happened before where it's like i had the the the reverse where it's like i thought of the absolute worst and then a minute they said that it's not the absolute worst it's like oh my god we're fine jayden is my guess is he's going to push to come back in like four or five weeks let's see what the schedule is and how that shakes out uh all right but hey to answer your question i uh without knowing because tomorrow again could be i i am i will be disappointed if i'll be very very upset if caleb misses i'm expecting right now for him to miss four to six weeks if he misses more than four to six weeks i'm gonna be like well that's the season four to six weeks i've put in my head i've done the calculations i think the bears could still make the playoffs if he misses four to six weeks and tyson bajin treads water max
2:32:31PFT Commenter:do you want him to come back in five weeks you're talking about jaden yes um it depends on it depends on if his elbow is going to dislocate again correct yeah do you think it's it seems like he needs to get this it seems like he needs to get this taken care of do you think we fix it forever it should yeah so what happens is like do you think that the commanders are going to be contenders. No, the only way that they would be contenders is if he was their starting quarterback and healthy. That's what I'm saying. And the fact that he won't be for the next five weeks. No, it seems like he should just get the surgery on this year, but it's so early to for me to give up mentally on a season.
2:33:14Shane is. I know. I'm just trying to I'm just trying to help you. No, I mean, the fact of the matter is maybe I shouldn't ever have any expectations for I think I'm just going to go back to just being a hater. But I don't think it's – maybe he gets the surgery. He gets it fully healed. Yeah. It's not his throwing shoulder or throwing elbow. He comes back next year at actually 100 % because he hasn't been at 100 % this past year in a hole. I'll say this. He was 100 % to start the game today. He played really well in the first half. He looked great. He looked like his old self, and it was so much fun to watch.
2:33:54But that's the only way, given how bad this defense is, that's the only way that we're going to be able to win any games. Mariota's a good backup quarterback, but we're not going to win any games because of him. We might be able to beat maybe the Titans with Mariota. But, yeah, if this team was going to win games with that defense, it was going to be because Jaden Daniels was out there being special, and I don't think that that's going to happen. And so, yeah, I think what needs to happen with the guy is somebody needs to sit him down and be like, you have to get the surgery as much for you as for everybody that's at home watching these games, because I don't want to watch Jaden's elbow dislocate 10 times on a Sunday every time that he plays.
2:34:36That seems like a pretty miserable experience for him, too.
2:34:38PFT Commenter:I got a question. Yep. A rowback question. R-H-O-B-A-C-K dot com. Promo code take 20 percent off your first purchase. Q-Zips, polos, hoodies, jaggers, shorts. Roback.com promo code take What was that? I also have a Roback Oh no You just popped that in Oh no Why? Who texted him? Jerry, you're disgusting. Who did he text? Me, Max, and memes. I'll tell you who texted them.
2:35:28Mr. Bing Bong texted them. That's who texted them. It's disgusting, Jerry. Hey, guys, it's only fair. You always text me and say Mr. Bing Bong needs to talk to Hank. Mr. Bing Bong needs to talk to Max. And now Mr. Bing Bong? Jerry, you're responsible. you're just as much at fault as anybody Jerry was that your dog in the background

2:36:27Mr.
2:36:27PFT Commenter:Bing Bong wants to know. It wasn't great, Jerry. It was bad, Jerry. It was a bad Sunday, Jerry. It was a bad Sunday. Yeah, well, you know, Mr. Bing Bong just had a couple of questions and some statements that he maybe wanted to say to a big cat in PFT. if that's okay. I mean, Mr. Bing Bong's always around for Max and Maxie and especially Hank and Hanky. I just don't think injuries are something to laugh about, Mr. Bing Bong. I also thought Mr. Bing Bong was a basketball guy. Yeah, well, Mr. Bing Bong is everywhere. I mean, a couple questions. You know, it's funny. I was watching my one quarter of football today.
2:37:04PFT Commenter:I was sat down and I got my one quarter and I'm flipping around and I flip over to PFT's game and I see Marcus Mariota throwing the football. Marcus Mariota. And then I flip over to Big Cats game and I see that Bagenta is throwing the football. The timeline's not adding up. No, it's not Big Cat PFT. Hey, what do we call it? Is it Bagenta? How do we pronounce it there? It's Tyson Bajin. It's Tyson Bajin, and your timeline doesn't make any sense. Because Caleb Williams got hurt like three hours before Jaden Daniels. No, I'm just saying it like Trico. You know, Trico. Yeah, I love that accent. He's good.
2:37:51PFT Commenter:He's a professional. Hey, PFT. PFT. Mr. Bing Bong here. It's really sad. It's really sad about you. No, I wrote some notes. I had to. It's really. I had so much fun doing it. I had so much fun doing it. Hey, TFT, it's so sad about your quarterback. And it's crazy, too. I mean, you know, looking at that elbow injury, I would have thought his elbow was a lot stronger, carrying his mother around on his back all season. Bing bong! He carries his mother on his back. On his back, we wouldn't be using his elbow. Yeah. That's too bad. And also, hey, Big Cat, it's sad. It's so sad about Caleb. You know, it's sad.
2:38:34PFT Commenter:He's going to have a lot of time on his hands. Maybe not, Jerry. Oh, your dog's on the table, Jerry. Maybe it'll give him a lot of time to paint his fingies and his tootsies. He likes to paint his fingernails. It's a little weird. I'm just saying. It's what little girls do, paint his tootsies. Hey, fellas, Caleb and Jaden, they're going to have rehab. It's going to be a lot of work. It's going to be a lot of work. unlike the work you all didn't do when you wrote your book. Everybody else wrote your book. Bing bong. It did not work for it. Even the audio book. You didn't read nothing. Mr. Bing bong did.
2:39:14That's not true.
2:39:15PFT Commenter:It's for free. It's for free on Spotify Premium. But please buy it. Hey, but you know what, Big Cat? Caleb will be back. You know, Caleb will be back before you know it. Caleb will definitely be back by opening day in Indiana. Bing bong.

2:40:50Sleepy Zach, sleep or sell
2:40:53PFT Commenter:Bing bong Those are good. Those are money. Zach, I got to say, Zach, you also had a rough day, too. The Bucs lost to the Browns. That was crazy. I took the points, so I was okay. But yeah, that was a crazy loss for you. Also, Zach, the straighter still isn't open. Open it up, Zach. Open the straight. There's no way he knows what that is. Do you know what that is? A lot of oil going through there. Oh, okay. You got it. You got it. My bad. Jerry, where did you get a Jaden Daniels jersey? Why are you? Yeah. That was from last year. Remember when he drafted Jaden? Yeah. And he cursed. It's been bad since then.
2:41:35Yeah. It's true. Everything. Everything, Jerry. Now, I was about to say there hasn't been a single good game. There's basically been no good game since you went on this podcast and you said he's going to break all records.
2:41:50PFT Commenter:All records. Jerry how the Jets Jets sort of shit the bed But guys we're used to that We have no hope you have hope From the last couple years we have no hope So it doesn't matter memes tell them we don't even Care we knew we were losing that No memes cared He said he was disappointed He said he wasn't even mad he was Disappointed we should have won Hey guys Guys this is Mr. Bing Bong Mr. Bing Bong's here again Big Kecta Big Kecta the Vikings had incredible Big Kecta the Vikings had incredible coverage on the Bears today you gotta admit that was good coverage and on the Bears side Devin Caney had incredible coverage look her up we love Devin Max you blew it The city of Philadelphia blew it.
2:42:50We got Devin. Bing bong. Say hello. Look her up. Hey, guys. Devin's great. Devin's great.
2:42:58PFT Commenter:Hey, guys. Shane. Shane also had a tough day. Yeah, he did. That was crazy. Yes, he did. Shane, that was crazy, Shane. Oh, I don't even know what's going on. It was crazy. And Herbert dropped like six balls, which is still not as many as Hank dropped the ball, but he blew it with Tiffany Gold. You blew it. He dropped a lot of balls. Just had to get one in. Yep. Had to get one in. Never let you forget. Hey, Hank, this is Jerry here. No more Mr. Bing Bong. How about fucking Trevion today? Yes, man. It's huge. I texted you right away. Did we win, Jerry? Oh, we fucking won, guys. We're on two. No.
2:43:41PFT Commenter:Two and O. Jerry what come on sorry sorry we are two and oh we are we're two and oh yeah why'd you say it that way because I'm just I really thought we were going to be on two guys we are not we are exceeding we are exceeding our projected outcomes I don't even know how we're winning tonight we won with Kelsey and CD lamb we did not win we have we uh we have Lamar who sort of shit the bed today I don't even know how we're winning this. And we got to talk about Scary Terry and what we're going to do with that. Because while AJ Brown sits in our IR, we're in big trouble. Hold on a second. I got a couple more of these.
2:44:20PFT Commenter:Hey, Shane. Oh, no, I already did that joke. Hey, PFT and Big Cat. You know, maybe you guys need to be doing some shopping around. You know, maybe you guys should be looking at, I don't know, Zach Wilson or JJ, maybe nine. You know what I'm talking about? Nine is out there? Because we all know that Zach wants you to get Colin Kaepernick. Bing bong. We know why, Doc. We know why you want him. Bing bong. Yeah. That's it, guys. Okay. Thank you. That was great. We love you. Love you, Jerry. You're going to have to stay on. Because you have the worst Wi-Fi of all time. You have the worst Wi-Fi. Jerry, we love you.
2:45:04PFT Commenter:Before we stop recording, we love you, Jerry. Great to see you. And then stay on. and look after those dogs. I think one of them got out. Sorry about this Sunday, guys. Hey, guys, if we can be 2-0 in fantasy, you guys can come back from this. I'm telling you. Early in the season. Week 2 ain't shit. Week 2 ain't shit. It ain't shit. I love you, Jerry. You got a bright future in this league. Love you, guys. Love you, Jerry. That was nice. That was very nice of Jerry. Jerry puts a smile on my face. I appreciated him. I thought he was coming just to roast you because he had the jayden daniels yeah um i i gotta say one last thing florio is on the hot seat for me because he did part of the reason why my mood changed is he went on some football night in america and said that kate williams only has a grade one strain he's like he thinks it's a grade one strain so that's a lot of my mood is based on florio so florio's on my fucking hot seat pft yeah i'm sorry that sucked yeah it sucked it's bad i'm reminded of the Washington D.C.
2:46:07sports triangle that I came up with about seven years ago for anything nice that we have in the nation's capital. It's a superstar and it's a triangle and you can only pick two of the sides. The sides are generational talent, healthy, and doesn't support a Russian dictator. You can take any two of those, but you can't take all three. Can't take all three. This is just falling in line. RG4 So Jane Daniels supports Vladimir Putin? No, I'm saying he only picked two. Right. So he's not healthy.
2:46:47He doesn't support Vladimir Putin. That's one of the legs. Oh, got it, got it, got it. He's a generational talent, and as far as I know, he's not in favor of Vladimir Putin and the war in Ukraine.
2:47:01PFT Commenter:Right. I could be wrong. I have a question for you, PFT. Yes. Did you see some of the mean things that Hank was tweeting? No. I don't follow Hank. Hank. I didn't tweet anything mean for the record. Hank, you immediately started talking about Jaden Daniels offensive line saying, is this AI making sure you signal boosted this? Well, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen. That's a fake clip. PFT last week introduced me to this world of editing videos of NFL. Glenn Tape Watcher did. What are you talking about? Introduced me of this world of someone online editing videos of NFL footage and making it look really real.
2:47:51In this case, it was the Patriots. It looked like it was their full defense. In fact, it was 10 players. This one, the video is all of the commander's offensive line basically sprinting away from Jane Daniels, screaming, crying, throwing up, and couldn't give a care in the entire world that he's down and out. And I just asked the question, is this AI? Because again, I did not catch the Glenn tape watch. I did not notice that. So my brain is not trained as well to AI. So I was trying to ask my followers to confirm that this was AI. And honestly, I haven't confirmed that yet. Okay, anyways. Is it?
2:48:30What I was going to say about... Is it Glenn Tapewatch? What? Is this AI? Is the video of the commander's offensive line running away from Jane Daniels on the ground fake? If you watch the game, which I don't know if you did. You were looking at your phone a lot, so I don't know if you were actually watching the game when it happened. But when Jane got hurt, then everybody at that time, Jane stood up for a second with his team. Then he went back and sat down as his teammates were all going to the locker room because it's halftime. And then at that point, the trainers come out. Got it. Because if there's one thing about the team, like everybody on the team.
2:49:05Well, Mariota looks like he's sitting there. Everybody on the team likes Jaden. I don't think that there's any problem at all with the offensive line not liking him. They were walking off the field together, and then Jaden sat down because he was hurt. The rest of the team proceeded to go to the locker room for halftime. But not Mariota. I think it's pretty normal stuff. Why didn't Mariota? Kind of sad that you're concerned about this. I just was curious. Because Marietta was probably like, do I have to? I'm just trying to get better at spotting AI. That's literally, it was not mean in any way.
2:49:36I'm just trying to get better at spotting AI. Mystery solved. Seems like you were kind of happy. Yeah. Listen, Hank. Look at this. We like to have fun. This is mean? I would never root for an injury. How is this mean? I would never root for an injury. Look at my reaction to the injury. I was disgusted. Horrified.
2:49:52PFT Commenter:But then you said people want an early part of my take drop. It seemed like you were happy. Yeah, you were happy. Read my tweet and tell me how that's mean. Hank, where's French? Read my tweet. Read it. You know what? Read it. No, not that one. Read the part of my take one. Because, again, this is where it's like you guys are gaslighting, trolling, putting words in my mouth saying that I'm mean when I am literally on your guy's side. I didn't say that to me. These events are truly sick individuals. I think that there's a part of Hank that likes entries. That means that I think you were rooting for early release would be the joke there.
2:50:25No, I was going through my mentions, and I had so many people being like, oh my God, can't wait for tomorrow's PMT. Tomorrow's PMT is going to be amazing. Hank, please push the button. Hank, please tell Max to push the button. And I was merely tweeting on your guys' side that you guys, the people that are asking for that, are sick individuals. And somehow that gets twisted into me being mean. Do you not understand how you guys are just gaslighting?
2:50:51PFT Commenter:No, no, hold on. The AI video was... Is this AI? I got fooled by AI on Friday. Well, no, that wasn't AI. That wasn't AI. I don't know what it was. I don't know what this was. Quiggs is not AI. Yeah, he's just a guy. He is AI. He's a guy. He is. No, he's Gibby. He loves an AI robot. But I didn't see this clip until Hank tweeted. It's kind of sad that I try to do something funny for the show, make a new little bit, new little character that breaks down film, and then that triggers Hank so much that he has to then retaliate by celebrating injuries. Show me a celebration, please. It's kind of sad.
2:51:26Please.
2:51:27PFT Commenter:Oh, that first reply is actually funny. What does it say? They're still running away from Jaden. Oh, that is funny. It's actually he's still running. It's the he's still running guy. PFT must have edited out the teammates willing to stay by him. Yeah, it's a good bet. It's good. It sucks. Jaden's probably. It sucks beyond belief. And I do. It sucks. He's kind of enjoying it. Hank, you are not allowed to talk anymore. oh he can't talk you can't talk you can't talk don't pout you can talk before the game started before the game started hey stop pouting whatever I'll never have your back again I guess like sorry telling people that telling people that is not having that's a troll we troll we know what a troll is saying is quote treating it that's like quote treating and saying everyone please delete this no yes no no this is a question this is a question don't i thought that there was 11 people in a video on friday and i was confused and i'm like fuck all i thought about this whole weekend is like i can't believe glenn tape watch got me i gotta be better how can i be better yeah rely on my followers let's do this together yes is this ai yeah and i honestly what did you find out you haven't given me a good answer what did you find out that looks real as fuck still yes it's very real that happened in the game but is your point behind this whole uh charade that you're pulling right now to say that to a certain extent the offensive line was happy that jayden got hurt no it would be more that they don't care i think they about him being i think they extremely care because all their contracts are very much tied into jayden being healthy i think it's probably fair to say they're like everybody on the so they don't care about him as a person no they do i think they care about financial no i think they do i think it's both why not both yeah so all right uh so mystery i'll update tomorrow on the podcast about talk to pft this is real this is real um mystery solved i here's the thing is on saturday maybe it was friday the cowboys put out their posts like promoting this game on twitter and the picture that they used to promote the game was jayden being hurt from last year it's fucked up that is fucked i'm putting a curse on the cowboys oh i'm putting a curse i haven't figured out how yet they're not going to go to nfc championship game for like 30 years maybe i don't know if i can find a curse like a a cursed person that's that good but i'm gonna try i'm gonna i'm gonna do some research find out the best people to go to i'm gonna put the whammy on the cowboys okay and And listen, I hope Jerry Jones lives a long, healthy life.
2:54:21End of sentence. Okay. I'm going to find a curse.
2:54:26PFT Commenter:The Cowboys look good. Their offense look good. What? Be a real shame. That was a strong giggle from Anchor. DFT's a fucking hilarious guy. What? But Jerry Jones is bad at his job. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So it's good. I like that Jerry. You want him staying alive. Correct. I like it, too. And I'm also. He has no succession plan. Also, wouldn't the curse be. It's going to be against the Cowboys. I actually don't. I want Jerry around. Yeah. Wouldn't the curse be Jerry Jones lives for another 20 years, but the Cowboys never get back. Exactly. That's way worse. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, I'm going to find, I don't know if it's a witch doctor, I don't know if it's a psychic.
2:55:13I'm going to do some deep research into the most effective types of curses, and I'm going to put a curse on the Dallas Cowboys. And as long as that curse is in effect, they will not win a Super Bowl, they won't smell a Super Bowl, and they'll be doomed to be just as miserable as I am. And that's how you get back at people. If somebody wrongs you guys, you do the exact same thing, except twice as hard to them. I'm just Hank You're
2:55:44PFT Commenter:Two guys you're talking to right now And you do a quote tweet is this AI And be like I was literally asking You're happy Why can't you just admit that you're happy We're trolls Hank we're born of the same troll Blood We all know what trolling looks like We all watch that game together You can watch the video Of me watching the play You can watch the video of me watching the replay At no point did I smile. At no point was I laughing. Like, I was horrified. Max, can you find... I like a rivalry. If Jaden Daniels never plays football again, which it seems like he's not going to, there's no rivalry.
2:56:21Like, I want him to play. He can't stay on the field. Come on. I know he can't stay on the field. And that sucks. You know, the thing is, you don't truly believe that. I do. I want Jaden Daniels to play. Come on, Hank. I need to find this. I want to see Hank's reaction. And Hank, listen, we are all trolls here. I get it. It does seem like you're rooting for injuries, and I would never do that to you. I'm not rooting for injuries at all. This is going to be extremely.
2:56:50PFT Commenter:Yeah, he did actually react saying he doesn't want to see it. We're going long anyway, but he did. I do not think he was smiling. I don't. But the AI thing, that was clearly a troll. Yeah, that's true. Yeah, come on, Hank. Come on. We're not stupid. You're gaslighting us. You're gaslighting us. That video was so unbelievable. I literally was like, this must be AI. Again, it's like 2026. AI is crazy these days. Look, Big Cat's laughing really hard. That's when I was still there in the first half when he wasn't injured, idiot. I don't know. I'm just watching what they pulled up. So my big takeaway from this game is, yeah, Jaden's probably never going to play football again.
2:57:30The commanders will never be good. And it's wizard season. There you go. Yep. Wizards. We're on to the Wizards. But now I kind of feel a little bit liberated because at this point, I don't have any expectations for football season this year. So I can rededicate myself to being what I love to do and what I do best, and that's just being a full-time troll.
2:57:56PFT Commenter:This is after the injury, but, yeah, this is when they're showing the replays. Too many replays. I'm blocking, Hank. Look fat. Oh, yeah. No, Hank's not. He's reacting.
2:58:12PFT Commenter:Zoom in on his face real quick. Zoom in on his face just real quick. Oh, Max stroking his nose.
2:58:25PFT Commenter:Hank might have a little smile. There was a little bit of a grin back there. There's a little grin. This is insane. Okay, let's move on. Let's move on. Screaming. Cowboys looked awesome. Cowboys looked pretty good. Well, here's the thing about the Cowboys. Georgie, George Pickens, only has one more yard receiving this year than DK Metcalf. Yeah. Well, he had a bad first game. Quietly, George is not off to a great start right now. And, I mean, he's an exceptionally talented guy. I just think that if it goes on, given the fact that it's a contract year thing, they have to find a way to get him involved.
2:59:03Because if they don't, they could lose him.
2:59:04PFT Commenter:Yeah. All right. That looks like you're screaming horror there, Hank. Sorry. Can't exist. No. I thought you were reacting fine. The ISSA highest control, and I understand it. Somehow, Hank is the victim. Yeah. His quarterback's super healthy. Almost too healthy. Whoa. Like, really healthy. Now he's coming at you. No, I'm just saying. We're getting in dangerous spots here. I don't know what it is, but, like, Hank, you won today. The Patriots back in the good graces of the football gods. Won the hungry dog. Won the hungry dog, pretty much, almost. And your quarterback is super healthy. like really healthy we should pull up that clip too what if we're just pulling up gambling cave clips what Hank being hungry dog yeah I think I can tell this now I had big plans for Jaden too this year I'm not going to get any use out of it probably ever what I went out and bought one of those giant like 15 foot tall wacky inflatable wacky air guys like the car dealership guys car dealership guys and it's a jaden daniels wacky inflatable like it's his face what were you gonna do with it i was gonna inflate it like those are big plans i was gonna inflate it like underneath max uh how or put it outside the door like we did with positivity bunny that so that's a hundred bucks i gotta just when are you a hundred bucks when are you gonna do that huh when are you gonna do that my big plans for week one put that out Then I was hanging on to it for the next time we played against the Eagles.
3:00:49PFT Commenter:It would be nice to just put it up. Yeah. Just do it. How was that only$100? That's a great deal. I also got you a Jalen Hurts one. It's on the way. Oh, sick. That's great. Yeah. Did they have a Caleb one? They did not. The only two that I saw were just Jalen Hurts. That's sick. That can't be true. Those were the only two I saw. I didn't look that hard, but those were the two. It just happened to be. Yeah. That's kind of fun. Yeah. So, you know, the best laid plans of mice and men, as they say. Last game, the Colts and Chiefs. Chiefs, we talked about it kind of there for a second. The Chiefs win in overtime.
3:01:28PFT Commenter:I will say I don't really understand what the Colts were doing there in overtime and the fact that they got like super aggressive with that deep shot and then they slowed it down and they got stuck in like the middle ground of what are we doing here? It was almost like LSU last night on Saturday night where it's like either score a touchdown or use all the clock and then kick a field goal. Yeah. Do one or the other. Instead, they rushed to get down the field, then went slow and didn't score a touchdown, kicked a field goal. Then the Chiefs had enough time to kick a field goal and win the game.
3:02:04Yeah. So if you've watched any football since Patrick Mahomes has been in the league, you know what's going to happen. Don't give him any time. If you don't score a touchdown there. in overtime. If you kick a field goal, you're going to lose that game. If you kick a field goal,
3:02:17PFT Commenter:there has to be no time left. Yes. Anyone that's watched football knows that that's how that game ends. So I was not surprised whatsoever. And Mahomes, I mean, credit to the Colts, they did look a lot more qualified than they did in week one. So maybe the season's not fully over. That's a tough start to the season to play the Ravens and the Chiefs. Mahomes, week one, everyone's like, hey, he passed the test of his knee looked good. The passing is rusty. Now the passing's back. The deep ball was there. Now the passing's back. He threw for 382 yards tonight. They were taking shots all over the place.
3:02:53PFT Commenter:Travis Kelsey looked like he was young again. Travis Kelsey had 101 yards. Nine catches. Chiefs are a problem, man. They're a problem. Taylor up in the box. Box of the year. Showing point to the ring finger. Chiefs are fully back. Would you agree, Hank? Chiefs are fully back. Oh, yeah. Like, that's not even a – they're just back to being the Chiefs. It's not – they're just going to – it's probably going to be the AFC Championship in Kansas City. Yeah. Chiefs stacked. Bills stacked. Yeah, I mean, I'm looking at their schedule right now. Chiefs are going to start 5-0. They play the Dolphins, the Raiders, and the Chargers.
3:03:32PFT Commenter:They're going to start 5-0. Raiders might be good. Raiders could be good. They're still going to start 5-0. Tough break for the Colts. Alec Pierce getting hurt. Yeah. I don't know what it is. But it didn't look good at all. It looked like it was not contact. It was the foot that was hurt from before. So I hope he's okay. Because that offense just doesn't. Without him in the game, it doesn't work. Nothing works without him. I mean, Jonathan Taylor runs hard. Daniel Jones, he had some nice plays. The Colts showed some life. They showed some life. So the season might not be fully over for the Colts.
3:04:06PFT Commenter:But the big takeaway is the Chiefs are just all the way back. So the Colts, big game next week against the Texans at home. Loser leaves town. Loser leaves town for that game. Yeah. And they are going to have a win against the Commanders. That's going to be overseas. Great. Good. You might win that game. Yeah. Weird things happen overseas. You know what I actually think? Mariota, good backup quarterback. Start the kid from Rutgers. Yeah. Ethan Kalikmianus. Yeah. Kalikmianus. Mm-hmm. Start that guy. Yeah. Why not? He's got a little Kirk Cousins in him. Why not? See what's going on there. Give them a start.

3:05:58They got in a wreck and then they met in the infield and just duked it out a little bit. Yeah. NASCAR. whenever they get into actual fights with each other they they didn't really throw any punches back yeah just kind of ate a couple they kind of remind me of like you ever see those bicyclists that fight against each other and they do like spin try to do spinning back fists and it's just like the softest fight ever i believe that if these nascar drivers got into a fight in a bar it would look like a fight with like punches and and some violence but for some reason when they're in their like onesie i never really it's never really threatening one of these is a good punch Yeah.
3:06:35Like, if we saw this punch in an NBA game, it would be a big deal. Or like a benches-clearing brawl. Like, you don't see this in...
3:06:45PFT Commenter:No, they go for it. They always let them punch like a couple times. And then they... Look at that. That's like a serious punch. That was good.
3:06:58PFT Commenter:Good who's back, Hank. Yeah, and the Water Dogs. Yeah, and the Water Dogs. Congrats. Fuck yeah. The Water Dogs are so back. we're so behind the banner we actually should yeah no we yes like a banner for ourselves yeah 100 like owners of the year yeah okay uh pft yeah i mean i was gonna say talk about the water dogs um and then who's back is just just the rg4 talk a lot of that why it would happen a lot of rg4
3:07:31I can't. I never thought Hank would be a root for injuries guy.
3:07:36PFT Commenter:I'm not. It's sad to see. I don't know. I'll say this about Hank. I do not think he's a root for injuries guy. I think he's a make a joke after an injury guy, which. That's not true either. Okay. Okay. Yeah. I didn't say anything about Caleb Williams or Jayden Daniels. None of this happened. I didn't say anything about the injury. Okay. I did ask a question about the lineman not caring about the injury. I think they did care. Also, who's back is just it being the 21st of September. Yeah. Great song. Happy birthday, Danny Conrad. I'm going to listen to that tomorrow morning, and it's going to put a smile on my face because it's a great song.
3:08:18Everything's going to be okay. Yeah.
3:08:20PFT Commenter:We'll be okay. What is the actual weeks that they're going to say? Like, if he doesn't get surgery, is he out four weeks? Four weeks. All right. So that's not terrible. They'll come back and it'll pop out again. But four weeks isn't terrible. You know what? I've moved on. That's what I'm hoping for. I moved on. I've moved on this season to just... We're entering... We're shifting into full-time troll mode. Okay. What? I have one question for you, PFT. Yes. Max. I don't know this. These are reports that were told to me. Yeah. So this is a serious question. Yes. You are? No, that's part-time. Oh, shit.
3:08:54Yeah. He's going full-time. Full-time. Maybe if you had just like, you went full-time troll mode last year, and then you never got out of it, even when Jane Daniels was healthy. And that's where I think you messed up.
3:09:05PFT Commenter:Oh. What do you mean? Fair point. Jane Daniels got hurt last year. Yeah. Obviously. And you then entered full-time troll mode. You spent all your time thinking and talking about Drake May. No, I actually don't think about that much. That never went away, even though Jane Daniels was healthy this year. and your priorities were in the wrong place. What do you mean full-time thinking about Drake May? You made a whole video. You're talking about Glenn? Yeah. Yeah, you're talking about Glenn. Yeah. Sorry for making a funny video that people could laugh at. It was really funny. I'm just saying if that attention had been more spent on your team and your quarterback.
3:09:40You think I should have done a hype video for Jaden? You used to do that. Look how good this guy. Didn't you used to do that? No, not really. What? You did his handoffs. Yeah. Which were also a joke video. But every week in the playoffs. Yeah, I made two hype videos for the playoffs. That's different. So your videos, yeah. That's different. That's the playoffs. Yeah.
3:10:02PFT Commenter:I got to say, you said you didn't do that. You made a decent point there. Just about. Maybe you didn't leave troll mode. No, I left troll mode. Listen, I'm having a tough day today, but you'll see. I can be way more trolling. Yeah. You give the Tebow speech about being a troll. No, I can step it up. Be careful what you wish for, Hank. Like, if you want, I will make it my full-time job to troll you. Okay, yeah, sure. I can't wait to see what that looks like. Okay. Okay. Can I ask this question now? Yeah, a sense of purpose.
3:10:40Again, these are reports that were given to me. I just have one question. This is serious. Who's walking around handing Mac's reports? Where did you watch the first half of the Colts Chiefs game? Oh, yeah, that was. He was down bad. Oh, I was in the bathroom. Yeah. For the entire half. Yeah. Yeah. Are you okay? I had a bad stomach. Yes. But you're right. But was that like a, I couldn't tell if that was like a stomach thing or is like, I need to be by myself and watch this game. No, I was literally, yeah, it was. So that was actual stomach. It was a stomach thing. Yeah. Okay. I apologize. Also, I'm a poop guy.
3:11:16Yeah. You are a poop guy. Yeah, no, it wasn't like... He tried to claim he wasn't a poop guy. But that was like an hour. Yeah, no, it was bad. Like, probably more... I think maybe even more than an hour. It was the entire... It was until we started recording from before the Sunday night football game. Yeah, it was... I'll put it this way. I haven't pooped in like two and a half days. Problem solved. Got it. Problem solved. Oh, okay. All right, good. Finally. All right, so that was a good thing that you were in there for that long. Well, no, it wasn't... I didn't enjoy it. But you needed to... But I needed to be in it.
3:11:44You needed it. Okay, good, good. Listen, I've been through pain and disappointment enough as a football fan. I don't need to lock myself into a bathroom to get over a loss. Okay. That's strictly just stomach issues. But you understand the optics of that. In fact, I heard people coming in and out. I was like, well, they're going to have some questions. Yeah. It's probably about 45 minutes. Yeah. All right.
3:12:11PFT Commenter:My who's back? Baseball playoffs getting close. We're seven days away. I saw a stat, too. This is a really sad one. The Pittsburgh Pirates would be in the playoffs if they played in the AL. Yeah. It is a race in that AL spot. The White Sox should get it. I hope the White Sox do get it. They should get it. But I guess they would be a half game out if they were in the AL. But, yeah, we're getting the little clinch spot. Max and I are in a fight right now. the Padres Cubs and Phillies all one game apart fighting for home field fighting for home field hard I guess technically also still fighting for the playoffs just because the Diamondbacks still remain there lurking but yeah we're I was a lot more excited for playoff baseball until Alex Bregman got his face smashed in which is really really bad so he definitely can't play I mean I He can't see.
3:13:14PFT Commenter:His eyes completely. I don't know. Maybe if it wasn't broken, then it's just like a black eye and he'll be okay. I think he'll be back. You think so? I think so, yeah. All right. All right. Good. So I get positive. Okay. I just saw that and I was like, oh, my God. He's not going to play for a month. It looks bad right now. Because he's so, so important to the Cubs. Just having any type of chance at anything. but yeah i'm excited for playoff baseball if bregman can play and i really really want to play at wrigley because cubs can win at wrigley can't win anywhere else so if the playoff started right now the cubs would have the home playoff game against the padres okay we have the tie the cubs have the tiebreaker against the padres and the phillies so as long as they can just stay at the same record as those two teams they will get the home playoff uh game i don't know who has of who has your...
3:14:08PFT Commenter:We have it over the Padres. You have it over the Padres. Right now, the Cubs and the Padres are tied and the Phillies are one game back of both of them. So, literally anything. Do we have the same amount of games left to play? Six games? And who do you play? We're tough. We go Brewers, Rays. I think the Rays won't be playing for anything in that. Yeah, we go. Well, they play the Yankees so it depends what happens in that series. We go Marlins, Now they won't be playing for anything. We go Marlins, Red Sox, which I think the Red Sox are completely locked in. Are they not? Yeah, they clinched. Yeah, but they can't get to the home playoff, I don't think.
3:14:46PFT Commenter:And I don't know if they can go all the way down to the bottom. I guess they're five and a half games back. There are four games up on the White Sox. They would have to lose all three of their games leading up to the weekend. And the White Sox would have to win all three for the Red Sox to want to play for anything. So they'll just get their rotation set. All right. I would just love a Chicago World Series. It would be awesome. Well, the White Sox have given up the Central right now. I know. They're crumbling. They're so young. I feel like seeing that slip away, that might be tough to bounce back from.
3:15:20PFT Commenter:The Cubs are not going to the World Series. I'll say that. Their pitching is, their bullpen is so bad. But I just, chip in a chair. You know what? Fuck that. The Cubs could go to the World Series. Chip in a chair. Chip in a chair. See what happens. Baseball playoffs is weird. Just get hot at the right time. That's all you got to do. Yep. You should get hot at the right time. You never know what can happen. That's a fact. That is the playoffs or baseball playoffs are like you get a couple couple of relievers that are just pitching out of their mind. Yeah. You never fucking know. Bats get hot. Diamondbacks.
3:15:52PFT Commenter:Remember them? Yeah. Yeah. All right. Cubs can go to the World Series. Can the Phillies go to the World Series? Okay. I hate the Phillies. I'm going to watch them. I'm going to like them. Actually, I'm not going to promise I'm going to like them. No, you're not going to go that far. They're so frustrating. They're so, so. They're playing. Like you said, get hot at the right time. They're getting bad at the ugly. I mean, that's the Cubs bullpen. Our bullpen sucks, too. We got no one. Orion Kirkring, the guy who blew it last year, we just sent him down. Who got sent down on September 19th? He was like our setup guy last year.
3:16:32He's been a disaster since July. He has like a 10 ERA. They literally just sent him down a week before the playoffs. Yeah, but that's, I mean, Jacob Webb, they won't send him down,
3:16:42PFT Commenter:and he probably shouldn't. Yeah, I guess that's better. Yeah. But going into the year, we were counting. We got nobody. Yeah. All right, Zach, finish us off. Whatever. Maya, who's back at the week this week, is going to be UFC 331, because did you guys see the fighter Alonzo Mennefield, what he was able to fight through? Yeah. Disgusting. First round compound fracture. but fought through the went a distance bone out of his thumb completely out only almost looked like a molar like a big tooth yeah yeah whole thumb yeah isn't that like very very dangerous for infection i uh i believe yeah i mean open bone has to be yeah right and then he said no i'll just finish the fight and then win by decision said that was some real man shit uh stevenson got knocked out one of the fastest in heavyweight history yeah that's what i was saying like Like, UFC, for a casual like myself, it feels like they don't have any massive, massive superstars for the future.
3:17:37Like, young superstars. You think that's what leads to, like, a lot of these just, like, quick knockouts? Like, hey, we're not evenly matched. One of these guys is just going to starch somebody.
3:17:47PFT Commenter:Well, Gable Stevenson is just, he's failed, like, at everything recently. Yeah, tough. He tried to go to the NFL, tried to do WWE, went back to college and lost, and then just got knocked out. And then he no-showed the ending, right? Like in the middle when they put their hands up. Yep. That was a loser move. No class on that. Loser move by him. All right. Good show, boys. We're going to get some good news tomorrow, PFD. Yeah. I'm telling you, Florio, if this comes back like a grade two or three in Florio. Did you guys see Florio's report on Sunday football? Yes, I did not. I was in the bathroom.
3:18:22PFT Commenter:He's like, I'm hearing it's a grade one. So that's like it completely changed my whole mood.
3:18:30PFT Commenter:All right. Good show, boys. Numbers? Eight. Five. Three. He's not a troll. I'll go 18. Good. He's not a troll. That was nice. That was touching. You're a funny guy. There's also this guy in the UFC who's just a rough and rowdy fighter. I'm going to take 90. Look, Shane took off the poncho. Two Ivasa. Shane's no longer bolted. Nah. 86 69 Didn't eat a lot today 15 actually 15 Tebow Congrats on the Gators Jacob They look good Real phony Oh no Georgia Georgia's really good Georgia all time Fuck you move
3:19:46PFT Commenter:26 26 is hot Yeah, it is hot Did you guys see the Georgia move? They were running full defensive line drills during a timeout, and then Kirby said after, he was like, because our guys weren't getting enough work. Yeah, Arkansas is. They were through like six passes in the game. That's such a disrespectful move.
