1:59my take yeah part of my take welcome to part of my take presented by draft kings the crown is yours today is monday october 27th week eight
2:30We start in Baltimore where the Red Hot Bears meet up with the desperate Ravens. Caleb William hung almost 300 yards and Randy Andre Swift Jackson went off, but it was the Ravens defense that said, that's a no for me, dog, as they tightened up after the first quarter. Tyler, Snoop, there it is. Huntley tag-teamed with Derek Clapton Henry, having John Harbaugh tell his offense they look wonderful tonight after a bounce-back game. Roquan Kenny the Jetsmith made the Bears players look like the video board as he raced them all afternoon, amassing a cheaper-by-the-dozen tackles, making the Bears look like a high school football team coached by Steve Martin.
3:11Ravens 30 Bears 16 We go down to H-Town Where Woody Marks Wahlberg Might be the new kid on the block But he's going to have a hate crime section On his Wikipedia after what he did to that Niners defense Xavier Drama for your mama William said Talk to my hands Hauling in a touchdown The 49ers responded as George Kittler on the roof Made the Texas defense look like a Bitch man I'd have all the money in the world if I were a healthy man. Meanwhile, as Halloween comes around, the 49ers backup QB is turning back into a Mac-A-Lantern, leaving the ball early to go pick-or-treating as D 'Amico Ryan Reynolds has a Texans looking lively.
3:58Houston 26, San Francisco 15. We head over to Foxborough where Hank was on the scene. In New England, Drake may be the greatest quarterback of all time. started off slow because Miles Garrett Popcorn was slipping through the Pat's O-line like he was covered in butter, getting sack after sack. Harold Fanetto looked like he was in a fucking coop finna pull up to the zoo as he zoomed into the end zone to give the Browns an early lead. Speaking of sack, Hunter Biden Henry was cracked out after getting into the end zone and Stefan Dirk Diggsler said, I want to fuck. It's my fucking big dick. Who wants to fuck?
4:38after scoring his first touchdown of the season. David Nogoku said, Kamehame. Ah, not going to be enough after scoring in the fourth. Pat's called Marching, 31-13. Thanks, Hank. Over to Memes in Cincinnati. In Cincinnati, the Jets and Bengals honored Nick Mann in the yellow hat by putting on a case race to 39. Hey, hey, Bengals, I want a Joe. Oh, will you throw me a TD? As he found, boo, boo, boo, boo, T. Grizzly Higgins, who hit the rollie store with the rollie on by beating the corner for a 44-yard touchdown. Chase Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see? I see two touchdowns staring at me. Justin Crimeo Riverfields was told he was needed after being left on the sideline for some other guy last week as he found Tyler, the creator, Johnson, who had trouble on his mind being the only receiver left on the roster.
5:36Mason Ramsey Taylor lassoed in the game-winning catch from Brees' Pieces Hall. As for the Bengals head coach, Zach James Taylor is singing, Oh, Mexico, sounds so simple, I just gotta go. Now is my coaching career is probably over now. Jets 39, Bengals 38. Thanks, memes. Down to Carolina where the Panthers were moving in quo motion. Zoran Mamandi Dalton giving the ball away for free today. and in his old age, the game seems way too taxing for him. With that, it was the Buffalo Bill Clintons who loved their little St. James Cook who logged two visits to the end zone, and with the help from Ed, Annie Holliver, and Josh Woody Allen, they said, soon ye will believe we are Super Bowl contenders.
6:26The Bills capped off the win with a long touchdown from Khalil Shakira, sending a message to the Chiefs, Whenever, wherever, we're meant to be together. Specifically next week in Buffalo for a huge AFC matchup. Bills 40, Panthers 9. We go to Atlanta. Has Miami looked good? Huh? Huh? In a touching tribute to Heat Guard and neighbor Terry Rozier, I have to give them their props. The Miami Dolens are playing with house money. Toa looked a little blind, wearing a visor to keep him from getting pokered in his FBI. And it might have been giving him x-ray vision because he was attacking all the correct hands.
7:10He got bailed out by his receivers and at times looked like he was going to go to jail in Waddle. Felipe Franks had a seat at the poker table for Atlanta, double drawing penalties. I guess he thought he was playing hold 'em. This is a much needed win for Tagovaiol AR, and that was a crazy game of poker. Dolphins 34, Falcons 10 Down to the Big Easy where Zach was there In Louisiana, Spencer gives shop Rattler Throws a mall of America sized pick to Anthony Soprano Nelson Who buried the ball deep in the end zone Overlooking a little river with pine cones all around Blake Groopy Love wasn't in the bar playing guitar He was in the dome kicking towards the end zone Splitting the uprights from 48 yards out Somebody call 911 One shot Kingston Tucker's fire burning on the goal line.
8:01Whoa. With a touchdown from one yard out. As for Chase in my way, a sweet escape. McLaughlin, he's leaving New Orleans with both pockets full of sunshine as a leasing scorer on the day with 11 points. Tampa 23, New Orleans 3. Thanks, Zach.
8:22Standing on a corner, Jameis Winston down in Delco. Such a fine sight to see It's Jalen Hurts, my lord Scoring touchdowns four And A.J. may want to be free There goes Saquon Another sack for Zach Bond The birds are six and two Let's go come on Eagles 38, Giants 20 Was that a come on there? Yeah, come on Come on. Come on. All right, and that was week eight, fastest two minutes, brought to you by our friends at Chevy. Football season is here. The Chevy Silverado is a longtime partner, pardon my take, and our favorite truck, and it's all about grit.
9:15From job site to tailgate, Silverado lets you show up strong and tackle any task built for the hustle, ready for the game. Silverado is America's most dependable full-size truck. For J.D. We're going to update Sunday Night Football at the end of all of this because we're going to actually watch the whole thing. And PFT week eight overall, F-grade. I wouldn't say F-grade. The New York Football Jets got to win. Well, we are going to start with that.
9:52But overall, I think it was the combo of six teams on a bye, and some of them good teams, and then also just some really ugly blowout games that were completely not competitive. Yeah, not a lot of really wire-to-wire football to that. Including the three late slate games that weren't competitive, which that I think always, whenever you have an early slate that doesn't have a ton of excitement, you're like, well, at least we'll get one good game. But again, we're taping this early, so maybe we have the Sunday night football game to save the whole weekend. But let's start with Memes Jets. Jets 39, Bengals 38.
10:32Memes, the Jets have won a game. What a win. Got to feel good. Let's go. I'm happy for you, Memes. I'm happy for you. Very happy for you. Memes, you were a little teary-eyed after. I feel like that was a lot of weight off your shoulder. What's so funny? What? What? Max is just snickering and pointing at something. No, Memes, this is good. This should be a good moment for you. This should be a good moment. Memes, congratulations. Memes, congratulations. You don't have to be. You can let your guard down, Memes. What does he point to? You got to speak with the class here, Max. Nothing. We just have to unplug the mic.
11:05You have to unplug what? The wide mic cut out, and I cut to the wide mic, and there's just nobody there. So that's why I was like. Okay, we got to have a good. Hey, Memes. Let's start over. You wanted to know. Keep it all in, but Jets 30. This is so Jets that Memes gets his first win, and we can't even celebrate it correctly. Jets 39, Bengals 38. Memes. Good job, Memes. First win of the season. I was rooting for you, Memes. Yes. Extremely emotional day. Woke up this morning. Thought they were going to win. Nick Mangold, unfortunately, passed away. Jets came out looking bad first quarter. Actually, first half offense.
11:50was bad. Jets defense wasn't good until the fourth quarter, but they won the Nick-Man goal game. They won the Nick-Man goal game, and yeah, it was really hard to see that news. Nick is a friend. Nick is a friend of Barstool, a friend of mine. I was more broken up than I thought when I saw it just because we had him on the yak 10 days ago. he had a kidney disease that he's had since 2006 needed a kidney transplant really really sad just one of the best dudes ever and for kids and like he and I would text all the time about you know kids and fatherhood and he was just he was just the best like he you could see it too on the internet the amount of people who considered Nick Mangold a friend was really a testament to how great of a guy he was because it was just outpouring of people from everywhere being like, hey, you know, I was at Ohio State with Nick Mangold.
12:52I was his friend. I knew him from living in New Jersey with him. All walks of life. Just one of those guys that you literally couldn't find a person who didn't love him. So, yeah, it was an emotional day, memes. And it was hard to see because I thought he was going to get a kidney. It also just a reminder to people that you should be an Oregon donor. It's very easy to do on your license. It's super easy. You could save a life. And but yeah, I agree memes. It was an emotional day. And I think that was part of maybe being a little broken up after the game as well. Nick was a he was a great dude.
13:29Like every interaction that you ever had with him. He was the friendliest person that ever came into the office. And everybody loved him. It was shocking when I woke up this morning and saw that. I was not expecting to see that. We were all hoping the best for him. And it's just a really, really sad way to start a day. I know that he had a family that cared about him very deeply. So obviously the tie-in today with the Jets game was something that people talked about. But I was just kind of broken up as a human when I saw that this morning. And yeah, he was a great football player. He was an awesome dude.
14:03I loved having him around, loved having him in the office. He always had – he would just bring us his sauces and stuff and be like, Like, hey, here, I brought this for you guys to try. Check it out. He would just make small talk. He would make small talk with everybody, thought about everyone, just a great guy. It sucks. And I think that, yeah, the hard – personally, like, my last – I went back and looked, and, like, the last texts I had with him were, like, five days ago, planning on him getting healthy and coming doing a case race or doing the gauntlet or hanging out with us. So, like, seeing that, that's where it really hurt.
14:37But yes, please be an organ donor and just cherish the little moments and memes to bring it back to the Jets. This was also Aaron Glenn first win as an NFL head coach. Also math guy. Math guy. So he showed a couple games that he's a math guy. Yeah. The Bucs game he went for two. Yep. Not we two. there's been a couple moments that he is analytically sound but it worked he was down 14 I don't know that we can say he's an I would say he's a math guy when it comes to two point conversions he understands he's a math guy they were down 14 late in the game in the fourth quarter scored a touchdown went for two then scored again won the game in regulation with an extra point certified math guy and i love it because we still got like the craig cartons of the world who tweeted in the moment you don't go for two there aaron glenn is not a uh god game day coach right now i think he said good game day coach was what he's trying to say but math guy and brie saw brie saw was awesome brie saw with the touchdown pass that i walk us through that moment memes because that touchdown pass i think we all assumed he was trying to throw it away because he pump faked it was a first and goal from like the four pitch to Brees Hall obviously the play was for him to throw the ball he pump fakes it looks like no one's open it looks like he's gonna get screwed he throws it to the back of the end zone and Mason Taylor makes an awesome catch game winner that was sick yeah no I I thought it was one of the worst play calls at the time uh I was like is he gonna throw it is he gonna throw it is he gonna throw it then he did throw it and then and Macy Taylor just maulsed him.
16:32So that was one of those moments where everything was just going in the Jets' direction. Historically, that's an interception thrown by Brees Hall. Yep. But today was just the Jets' day. And Brees Hall, he finally scored today. Scored twice and threw a touchdown pass. Yeah. This is good. This is the free 20 movement that we've been hoping for, finally paying off. 502 total yards of offense for the Jets. It was great. The Bengals' defense is horrifically bad. Horrifically, horrifically bad, because this was a game, I'm sure you felt this way, Memes, pretty much the whole game you're like, it's just a two-score, it's a two-touchdown game right now, and it just felt like it was going to be that for the rest of the game, and then you have that, I think it was fourth and one with eight minutes left in the fourth quarter, down 14.
17:17You're like, there's no way the Jets are going to get this. This game's going to end. The Bengals are going to win by two touchdowns, and then it all flipped from there. Yeah, today was just a Team of Destiny vibes for this game. Yeah, yeah. You had Aaron Glenn celebrating when they got that two-point conversion. He knew. Yeah. He already knew that you guys were going to win that. Yeah. They needed a stop and score the entire game, and then they finally got it. They got three stop and scores in a row at the end. It was crazy. The Bengals' offense just hit a wall on those final three or four drives, and you needed three and outs.
17:51You got them, and then you got them again, then you got them again. I get a question for you, Mims. the very end of the game after you forced the Bengals to turn it over on downs and there were what like 40 seconds left in the game yeah Bengals didn't have any timeouts uh were you celebrating at that point or were you waiting to see are we able to snap the ball and take a knee no I was celebrating you were yeah okay yeah you you knew like finally we're free yeah all you needed was one knee and they were good. Are you thinking maybe a second win? Honestly? Yeah. I don't think they should lose another game for the rest of the season.
18:28Okay, let's go memes. This is where it starts. Let's go. Max is shaking his head. Don't shake your fucking head. I think you have something that bonded the team today. Yep. The players clearly don't like the owner if you see Justin Fields. Counterpoint, did Woody Johnson do a great job of owning this team by publicly throwing his quarterback under the bus, thereby making the whole team unite as a whole against the owner. Yeah, Woody Johnson, the motivator. It's like the plot of Major League. Yeah. Also, Woody Johnson with a hilarious quote about he was asked if he's a good owner, and I think it was from Diana Rossini's article.
19:13Shout out, Diana. Great reporter. he said well I'm obviously not a good owner in terms of winning I think the players can relate to me in some ways even though I don't have their background I have a certain amount of empathy I think that they can feel I can't be them I don't have their background and grow up in their neighborhood there's no way I can completely understand what they want through in their life or they went through in their life but I think they know what I'm that I'm an understanding person I'm willing to listen to anybody to tell me anything they want to tell me I'm willing to listen to their ideas too that's a long way of saying i do the bare minimum as a human being i think that it's him saying like i think that i'm cool like there's nothing about me and and my background and what i'm about that should be uniting me with any of these guys but sometimes i say hi to him and i think that they like it when i talk yeah he's like i have a certain amount of empathy yeah not a ton but a good amount like there's something there where he he can listen to someone say something and listen to them he's a he's a bit bare minimum human being he's a bad guy he's just basically his entire his entire statement there is i'm a bad owner but i'm a bare minimum human being i don't even think that he walked into the locker room in 2022 after uh mike white who had broken ribs, lost a game in Seattle, and he told him he sucked.
20:37Yeah. Zero empathy. Yeah. That's true. That's not minus one in the empathy, which is all he has right now. He's also explaining sympathy, right? No, he's talking about like, no, you can't understand what someone's gone through, but you can be like, I... Well, empathy is you have gone through that. No, that's sympathy. No, no, no, no. You guys are mixing that up. I think he's saying from an empathetic standpoint, I can feel sympathy. What the fuck does that mean? Empathy means you have been there before and you can understand. Hank? Yes. I have no idea. Okay. Hank, by the way, is working off of an all-time bachelor party, which we will get to because I'm hung over from listening to Hank talk about his bachelor party.
21:23He hasn't even talked about it. Empathy is feeling with someone by understanding and sharing their emotions while somebody is feeling with someone by acknowledging their misfortune for a more detached extreme. Yeah, sharing their emotions. Oh, okay. So yeah, he's messing it up. Yes. I think he's saying that he has the ability to feel sympathetic. Yes, not empathetic. I have a certain amount of empathy is what he said. So that's not right. No, he's wrong. He's literally doing as an empath. Yeah. I feel sympathy for these guys. Wait, can you pull up the graphic? He does it all. Yeah, we need to do this.
21:55This is learning at a six-year-old level by Pardon My Take. passive active empathy is active yeah okay so he is not an empath well he's saying he's an empath but he's really a sympath he's a sympathico yeah he's a sympath so he didn't even get this right no so he's not even doing the one bare minimum thing he's doing he's not even doing correctly no he is self diagnosed as an empath right which and then he goes on to explain sympathy got it okay yep so yeah bad guy but they but pft's right listen he he did something justin fields was crying in a closet this weekend justin fields is now one and oh as a starting quarterback after his owner threw him under the bus and then backed over it and then had his son come in and drive over him again and then back up again and then drive away yeah i like justin fields comments i thought it was very honest bare like you don't really see guys talk like that he said i'm gonna be pretty vulnerable right here This week I found myself in my closet crying on the ground, lying down.
23:00I was praying over and over. That's what Woody Johnson did to him. Yeah. Justin Fields found God this week. Yeah. And Woody Johnson's like, I can relate to that because when they found out my shithead son, although we love Brick, was the manager or the de facto GM of the Jets, I went into my closet that is bigger than most people's apartment and shed one single tear yeah listen if you can find god you can find ty simpson yeah or ty johnson wouldn't they that would be cool if they got that would be that would be i think he's not eligible but yeah ty johnson was wide open hit him in stride he did all this without garrett wilson nine receivers got caught passes from justin fields also justin fields with one of the funniest jump passes of all time dunk that shit He jumped and then threw it behind the receiver.
23:52He grounded it? Yeah. He grounded it? Yeah, it was good. It was good. I'm happy, though, for you, Meems. This is a good day. So you're saying they could maybe run the table? For Nick Mangold. For Nick Mangold. So you got the Browns next week. Browns. Or Browns after a bye. After a bye. So bye, then Browns. Yep. Then against the Patriots. Ravens. I can see it. The Ravens. Dolphins. I mean, yeah. Hey. Just come together. Yeah, come together. Come together. Come as one. Play okie-kookie. and do it. Yeah, and I'm just talking. If you look at the one score graphic, they should be 6-2 right now. Also, great timing to get a win right before the bye.
24:31Great timing. Great timing, because now you get to basically enjoy this win for an entire two weeks. Next Sunday, you're like, well, we won our last game. We're hot. Yeah, and then when the offense has negative 10 passing yards against the Browns, we're back. No, that's not going to happen, Memes. You guys are going to go on a roll. Right, we're bonded now. Bonded. You guys share something, and it's just good. I just feel good for Jets fans. They've had to deal with a lot of shit this year, sometimes from the media like memes, sometimes from the media like Rossini's, sometimes from their own owner.
25:01It's just been like one hit after another that's come to Jets fans, and getting to enjoy a big win against Joe Flacco and the Bengals, it's just good for the vibes. I'm just glad that Jets fans are going to get to have two full weeks as a winner. Yeah. That's awesome. That's a great feeling. Mims, do you think that there's a possibility that Brick Johnson has ever been fired as a head coach of the Jets on Madden like you? No, no chance. You don't think so? No. Why? He seems like he knows what he's doing. Okay. For the Bengals, that was as bad as bad gets in terms of defense. Their defense is so, so bad.
25:40That was the second time in 25 years the Jets have gained 500 yards of offense. Actually, both of them coming against the Bengals. but they are they're horrifically bad they had a win rate pass rush win rate of 1.3 % do you know how do you know how bad that is that's so so bad the Bengals went scoring 38 plus points the last two seasons are 1-3 first 56 seasons 54-4 that's they're doing the same thing they did last year where you score 38 points in the NFL you should win the game they did not win the game they got absolutely diced apart by a Jets offense that was not good up until this point and it also it feels like as good as the Joe Flacco was the story, him playing well him maybe giving hope to the Bengals fans which I bought in on because it's Joe Flacco doesn't feel great for the Bengals locker room Jamar Chase was asked after the game what they got to do to change up losing games even when they're putting up points.
26:48He said, I don't know. Ask Zach. It ain't my job. I play offense, not defense. So he passed it to Zach Taylor, the head coach, and then Zach Taylor said on the Bengals' loss to the Jets, not acceptable, humbling. Someone needs to step up and lead the group. Yeah, I mean. Is that someone in the room? That should be Zach. That should be you, buddy. Yeah. Now, I do agree with what Jamar Chase said. Oh, yeah. Like if I was Jamar Chase, I would be pissed off too. You got Joe Flacco running for touchdowns, still playing well until the very end of the game when he struggled to keep the offense on the field.
27:21But overall, if you got this game from Joe Flacco, you're happy. Offensively, you're happy today. They did hit that wall, but yeah. This is the first time that Justin Fields has won a game when their opponent scored more than 21 points. Jesus. So you would think that this offensive output from the Bengals would have been enough to win. Historically, it was. Historically, it was. Now, Trey Hendrickson did get hurt, which is a double bummer because, number one, you don't have him in the game to do anything. And, number two, I feel like there's probably some teams that were in the Trey Hendrickson market, and we'll see if he's injured or not moving forward.
27:55But that would be a bummer because you wouldn't get any return for the one-year extension that you gave him, the one-year reworking of the contract that you gave him. Yeah, they – this is just – we've dubbed the Ravens season from hell. Obviously, last year the Niners were – maybe the Bengals just are, it seems like every year now, because it's just, and it sucks because it feels like everything since the run to the Super Bowl, whatever it was four years ago, has just not gone as planned, and it's a bummer. It's just a bummer. The Bengals' offense is fun, but their defense is so historically bad that they lose games like this.
28:33Yeah, I did like the Bengals' uniform today, though, and I know that they were the standard orange and black, but after they wear the whites, when they come back out with the orange helmets, the orange pops so hard. They look good. Physically, they look like they should be a good defense. They're just not. They've got to blow the whole thing up. Yeah. And, yeah, I don't know what else the answer is. I don't know because halfway through this game, Bengals fans were feeling really good about themselves. Yeah, they had a path. They were like, yeah, Joe Burrow? No, we got Joe Flacco. We got this offense.
29:05And the defense looked okay for a little bit. But they're bummed out. Bad day. Bad day in Cincinnati right now. Did we ever find out why Joe Flacco went to the locker room? My theory, because he ran to the locker room and then came right back out, I think that's just a 40-year-old. Sometimes he got to piss. He just had to take a piss. Yeah, even when he was running around on the field, because he had one scramble for like 11 yards, he had the touchdown run. The way that he moves looks a lot like me at 3 a.m. when I have to get up and go to the bathroom and come back. Yeah, because that did feel like they said on the broadcast that Jake Browning was warming up, and that was never the words you want to hear in that moment.

29:44It sounded like a threat. Jake Browning is warming up, Bengals fans. That does sound exactly like a threat. Yeah. Like, hey, guess what? You guys are all in big trouble. Yeah. Jake Browning's got the ball. And shit's about to happen. Okay, next game. Ravens 30, Bears 16. Bad, bad, bad. It was an ugly one. um i don't really know what well let's start with caleb he was not good he had i there's a lot of obvious discourse about caleb every single week my biggest thing with him right now is that the feel for the game feels to be lacking and it feels like there's a panic that's like he doesn't see or feel the game and it comes out when you see there was two really bad intentional grounding penalties there was the end of the first half when he didn't get out of bounds which i kind of that one he might have gotten smashed uh there that one was like it was also the stuff that came after it that made him not getting out of bounds a great idea like that was a normal football play you can't always get out of bounds but but this game is uh and i said this on friday and i i know people are going to want me to like freak out and say the sky is falling i I did not expect to win this game.
30:59Did I expect it was going to be Lamar Jackson and that was how we're going to lose? Yes. Tyler Huntley, I do not think is as bad as Cooper. He's better than Cooper Rush. The Bears defense, I've been saying it for the last four weeks. When the takeaways go away, it's not going to look good. And that's what happened today where you had no turnovers. We didn't take the ball away. The cornerbacks are not great. They're very injured. The pass rush has no dudes outside of Montez Sweat. There's just no difference makers overall that can change the course of a game. And Caleb has to play better. He has to play better because we're kind of in that spot now where I'm taking the whole year as a – I'm not freaking out game to game, but he has to start playing better.
31:44And he has to start – like the games where the defense can't take the ball away, that's when the offense has to step up. We've had games where the defense has saved the offense. These are the type of games where it's a winnable game that you have to be able to score touchdowns, not field goals. And that's the biggest thing is they the first three weeks for the Bears, they were six for seven in the red zone in terms of touchdowns. Since then, four weeks, four through eight, they're five for 16. They get in the red zone. They don't score touchdowns. You saw it in the first two drives of the game that were looking good and then stalled out.
32:15And I don't really know what that is, but it's got to be better. When Caleb panics, you know how we say Josh Allen just hits all the buttons? Caleb does the thing where you just hold down the pass button really hard. Yeah. And when he's spinning around and he's like not getting to his – or he sees his first read not open, he feels a pass rush sometimes that may or may not be there. His answer is always just like throw the ball harder. Yeah. And that's where he loses a lot of the accuracy when he goes to like the second guy or the third guy. I don't know. Today the Ravens played pretty good. They played good football.
32:49Roquan coming back for the Ravens was huge for their defense. And they cheated. He was everywhere. And the Ravens cheated on the injury report going into the game. Yep. Lamar Jackson, he was listed as full participant on Friday, and then they had to go back and retroactively change the practice report because he was a full participant, but for the scout team. Yeah. And by the letter of the law, that means that he was not a full participant, actually. So the Ravens might get fined. But also spin zone for the Bears, that means they said, hey, we need somebody who can emulate Caleb Williams. Lamar, you're the best guy for the job.
33:24That is a good spin zone. Snoop Huntley cannot emulate Caleb Williams. We need our MVP to do it. It was quite a week to have that happen after the NBA stuff where you had a little shenanigans on the injury report and people were crying foul, which I understand. But overall, this was a very tough watch for the Bears offense. I don't know why we abandoned the run so quickly. It felt like it was working. It also feels like that's been the strength coming out of the bye. I still can't quite figure out the tight end plan. Cole Komet was out. Colson Loveland got, you know, I think he got five targets.
34:00He looked okay. But like in the red zone where you're struggling, where's the tight end? I don't know. So overall, it was just a bad game. And big picture, I always had, this is what people aren't going to want to hear because they're going to want me to freak out. but I really don't feel this way because if you've noticed in the last, whatever it's been three or four weeks in the bears winning streak, have I at all said that the bears were a good team? I have not. There's always gateway. I said, I said they were working towards being a good team. They've graduated from being a bad team, but I've never called them a good team.
34:33And today is why, because I don't think they're a good team yet. They are working their way to be potentially a good team. But today are the days where you're like, ah, this doesn't look very good the offense doesn't look very good Caleb doesn't look good the defense can't take the ball away and it's kind of again injuries happen but everyone gets injuries can't just blame them all the way the defense just doesn't when they don't get three interceptions it doesn't look as special as it did the last few weeks so I'm not freaking out they have to Caleb has to unload against the Bengals next week like he has to look good in that game because we We just saw what Justin Fields and the Jets did to the Bengals.
35:14That's going to be a big one where that might be where the freakout starts. Yeah, if he looks bad against the Bengals, then it might be time to start. We should plan on having a conversation if Caleb Williams doesn't light up the Bengals. Yeah. Yeah. Listen, I'm also realizing that I'm not even year one for Caleb Williams was bad because the coaching was he's had seven games with Ben Johnson. I don't know if Ben Johnson fully trusts him. I don't know if he's Ben Johnson's quarterback, but you got to just keep hoping that it gets better. Can you give me a stat line? Stat line, he's got Caleb against the Bengals.
35:51What does Caleb Williams have to do for us to be comfortable in our skin on that Monday show? 300. Three total TDs. Okay. How many rushing yards? I don't know. I'm fine with no rushing yards if he passes well. Okay. But three total TDs, so he can run in a TD. Okay, three total TDs. I think it's doable. Yeah, and the pick was bad. You just can't have that interception in that moment in the shadow of your own end zone. I saw some people complaining about DeAndre Hopkins, the OPI call. We didn't deserve to win this game. That was a bad missed call. It was. We didn't deserve to win this game. We did too many of the little things.
36:39And again, going back to are they a good team? No, they don't do the little things correctly week in and week out where you have bad penalties. Because intentional grounding, like that is just a sack. You are just getting sacked. And it's a sack on the quarterback. You just can't have that happen. And the clock management and the frenzy nature. And I love Cairo Santos, but this is why I've been saying for a while now that you just can't compete in the NFL. today with a guy with his leg do you think he knows that he's allowed to bring his own balls i don't know he seems like the only guy that that struggles from like 55 really he doesn't have the leg yeah really like jake moody i don't i jake moody was good that end of the first half like you you have to have a kicker who can kick a 55 yard field yeah jake moody was good i was impressed i i think that whatever happened to him and say that's water under the bridge yeah he was scary as kyle shanahan yeah and now he's he's like in the zone so yeah moody moody might be your answer Now, if you look at the Ravens and the Bears, you say, okay, the Bears are 4-3 right now, and the Ravens are 2-5.
37:43Always had this as a loss. Again, I wish it had not come against Tyler Huntley, but I did have this as a scheduled loss. But if you look at, so with those records, if you look at their percentage chance to make the playoffs on the athletics playoff simulator that they have, it's kind of crazy because the Ravens at 2-5 are now up to 44 % to make the playoffs. It's a weird division that they're in. the Bears are now down to 27%. I mean, it makes perfect sense. If you look at the Ravens' schedule. Well, it's not even that. It's one, the Ravens are a better team than the Bears. And two, the NFC is just significantly harder.
38:20Yeah. The NFC is, the seventh seed in the AFC can be had with probably nine wins. I also feel like removing the ping pong tables is good for at least 10 % on that. Absolutely. I said that on Friday. When you take out the ping pong tables, you win games. And the pinball. I was very worried about that. Hank, how do you feel about the pinball machine being taken away? You took it away? No, no, Harbaugh did. Yeah. Or no, sorry, the players decided to. I feel bad for the players. That sucks. Yeah, but you won. You kind of have to, yeah, force you to lock in. Yeah. What are you looking at, Max? Are you trying to find it?
38:54I'm trying to look at the playoff simulator. Yeah. Yeah, you're going to spend way too much time. Listen, the playoff predictor thing is maybe my favorite website in the world to use, but you got to wait maybe to like week 12 13 you can't have the simulator before we get the in the hunk graphic there's an order to things yeah right now the jaguars are the seventh seed in the playoffs at four and three and the bears at four and three are outside the playoffs in the nfc yep so and you guys think i'm being too reasonable no i mean you you had this penciled in as a loss for like the last month yeah because you were like that's when lamar is going to get back and i wish it wasn't tyler huntley but i also have been waiting for the game where we don't turn the ball over at all yeah and it happened today and i you know the gateway the whole gateway thing was basically to judge it i broke up the bears schedule to judge it based on their home stretch so i'm the gateway is still exactly where i thought it would be they have to win against the bangles and the giants in the next two weeks because then the home stretch is when they have a ton of really tough games and it's probably not going to go great, but you have to put yourself in a position where you can maybe find a way to tread water, go 500, and still have a shot at the playoffs.
40:11That was the whole plan. Yep, and when we're talking about the Ravens and their running offense, guess who was back today? Derrick Henry. Patrick Ricard. And Patrick Ricard. Patrick Ricard. And Derrick Henry. I think it was his first game back this season. And, yeah, they looked like a different team. I think the Ravens will – this was a – this has to feel good knowing that you got Lamar Jackson an extra week of rest and you won the game. And next week you're playing against the Dolphins, which actually is a Thursday night game. So that might have been why they didn't play Lamar because they knew that he'd have to turn around and play the Thursday night game.
40:49But you're playing the Thursday night game against the Dolphins who have just won a game. And then you have the Vikings, Browns, and Jets. The next four games, the Ravens can absolutely be back in the playoff hunt very quickly. They got the Bengals after that, too. So, yeah. I mean, the Ravens are still very much alive. Yes. Very much alive. And their defense looked a lot better. That was a lot of the Bears offense looking bad. But, yeah, Roquan was everywhere. That was huge. He was absolutely everywhere. So, next week, we'll see. I'm officially saying next week. I'm not saying the Bears have.
41:21It's not a must win for the Bears. It's a must look good Caleb. Yep. he has to look it's on Caleb yeah because you gotta start getting better and better and he's had moments where it's looked good but today was a bad day what if it's okay to say what if Caleb what if he looks okay what if he has like 200 yards passing on like 15 of 21 okay one touchdown but a win one touchdown a win and then Swift just carves him up I I can live with that and just I I just need to see him be more comfortable. It doesn't. Do you guys see what I'm saying? It just doesn't. The command of a game, the great quarterbacks, you see it.
42:01It's almost like an intuition where they're in control at all times. Yeah. Even if they're having an off day, he just hasn't gotten to that. He hasn't gotten that command down. And it just it looks it looks rushed and kind of frenzy. He looks panicked when he whenever the game is like in a pressure situation. If there's like a third and long, he really looks like he cannot – he feels like failure is unacceptable. And I think he has to learn that like you got to manage the game before you start treating it like you're at USC and you can just win it on your own. And this thing sucks is the first two drives kind of looked like he was under control.
42:37He just couldn't get in the end zone. Yeah. That's a killer. Okay, next game. Yeah, the Ravens, by the way. Yeah, I'm – what's the Ravens? Let me do the DraftKings ad read right now. All right, Max, what do we got? Ravens to win. Plus 105. That's it? That's it. Dang. The same exact odds as the Steelers.
44:25Because they play the Steelers twice as well. And what's their odds to make the playoffs? It's got to be less than that because they could get a wild card. We're just still going to. I think the only thing you can do is just bet the Ravens to win the Super Bowl. This has Ravens to make the playoffs, 44%. Ravens to win the division, 40%. Ravens to win the Super Bowl, 3%. 20-1 Super Bowl. Okay. And by the way, I see some people free. I saw one person tweet something that was a very scary tweet. He said this was Caleb's Justin Fields Tampa Bay game, and that was the game where it was the one where he missed wide open guys.
45:04I am not getting to that point. Yeah, listen. At all. People who are freaking out to that level, just fucking relax. We have an entire back half of the season for Caleb to play with Ben Johnson. Just chill out. It wasn't good. It's okay to say it's not good and to also say it can get better. When you have a history of bad quarterback games, it makes it very scary to compare every game. Every bad game that you have reminds you of a traumatic experience that you've had in the past. I think the calmness that I have is all because of Ben Johnson. I believe in Ben Johnson. That's where the calmness comes from.
45:39I believe in whatever Ben Johnson's playing. Ben is? For the first time today. Ben Johnson. For the first time today, I've heard you have more faith in whatever Ben Johnson wants to do than whatever Caleb Williams is capable of. Oh, yeah. I mean, Ben Johnson is the key. Yeah. It's Ben Johnson's team. I have faith in Ben Johnson. He will decide if Caleb is his guy or not. It's Ben Johnson. It's off your shoulders now. It's off my... I like that. I like that. Yeah, exactly. Coach is coach. Yeah, I'm just here to support Ben Johnson. Yeah, that's good. Okay, the Eagles 38 Giants 20 max. Easy win.
46:16Easy win. Easy. Took care of business. Saquon finally had his big game. That was huge. He was like the second play from scrimmage 65 yard touchdown. He hadn't had a 20 plus yard touchdown all season yet. And he did tweak his groin, but he ended with 150 yards on just 14 carries. I wonder if he would have come back in the game. It was pretty much out of reach when that happened. Yeah. So I'm just hoping that it was, you know, safety. Safety first. Yeah, safety first. Safety first when the game was pretty much out of hand. The Eagles looked good on both sides of the ball. They were running the ball really well.
46:54Jalen Hurts, again, had a very good game. The pass rush was awesome. The refs played really well for you guys, too. Yeah. The refs played great for you guys. Sure. Game ball? Game ball to the refs? Blowing the whistle early? This is the NFL. The refs aren't great. The refs were very – there was – on both sides of the ball in this game, there was calls that were very controversial. That was such a bad call. Just say it was a bad call. No, the fumble – The tush push call for people who weren't watching the game, there was a tush push. The P.I. was too much. Everyone freaking out about the P.I. was too much.
47:28I agree with that. Well, Dable, all-time freak out. Yeah. All-time freak out. For people who didn't see the game, the tush push, there was a tush push where Jalen Hurts still moving forward, still being pushed, reached the ball over the first down line, got it knocked out of his hands by Kayvon Thibodeau, but the refs then said they had blown forward progress. It is not reviewable. Brian Dable had every right to freak out on that. That I'm fine with people saying. I'm fine with people being mad about the tush push. It doesn't matter that the Eagles fucking blew them out after that. doesn't matter that there was the most obvious hold of all time where N 'Kobe Dean is blitzing the quarterback on the first Giants touchdown and he gets tackled right in front of Jackson Dart and they don't call it.
48:19So, like, it's the NFL. Sometimes there's bad calls. Sometimes shit happens. People are obsessed with the tush push. They are. It's the sort of thing that the Eagles are turning in to the team that is very good that everyone just, like, wants to look for an excuse of why they're not good. Yeah, the worst part of that for the Eagles was that it happened on a tush push. And then everybody after the fact being like, see, this is why you got to change the tush push. You can't officiate it. That's a fucked up call no matter what play it is. I don't think that had anything to do. You could definitely make the argument, yeah, it's hard to tell if you false start on the tush push.
48:50There's other stuff that's tough about it. That was a non-tush push related blown call. It could happen on any play that Jalen Hurts was running the ball. Yeah, no, and I get it. Like that had nothing. I don't know. I don't know. That wasn't like the false start where it's like, this is really hard to officiate. That was any play. That was just a screwed up whistle on their part. They blew the whistle too early. You can't review it. You can't review it when they blow the whistle too early. That's a fuck up on the refs. It was a great game by Saquon, like you said. You needed that. He looked explosive again finally.
49:21Jalen Hurts, four touchdowns, good game from him too. They didn't ask him to do a whole lot, but he was awesome. He was a very good game for Jalen Hurts. Max do you think Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown are okay no nope nope absolutely not it's a absolutely Matt PFT uh came maybe like three minutes late to the stream today and he asked Max does AJ Brown look locked in and Max just said nope nope not locked in at all he had sunglasses on on the side Max what I'm confused because we've I mean this might be the first time we've asked you if they're okay so i don't know if this is a change of pace that you have um or if you've just maintained that they were okay for a long time but now you're saying that they're not okay so what happened i don't fucking know aj brown is insane what did he do he's not insane he's listen as an empath as an empath i understand what aj is going through as we establish he feels used by the philadelphia eagles they only throw him the ball when they want to score touchdowns they don't throw the ball because they care about him as a human being um and then earlier i think it was last night he went through all of his old tweets and deleted every compliment that he had made online about jalen hurts so like he he went to the advanced search on twitter correct typed in uh tweets from 1k always open containing any of these words jalen hurts and then manually deleted every tweet that he had?
50:52How do you know that? That's the only way that you could do it. Someone found it out. I found out about it online and then it became a thing. It's so funny. That is the pettiest. He's basically doing a middle school burn book. I remind you, this is after a game where he had 120 yards and touchdowns. I side with AJ Brown. I do. It sounds like his only crime, he's just too nice of a guy and he won't he won't demand a trade so i'll demand it for him i'm demanding a trade on behalf of aj brown aj i will speak for you i i said it before i said it in the cave earlier i think it would be the funniest move is if he just pulls a james hard and gets super fat and like and like refuses to be good at football that would be funny that would but i disagree i think the funniest move would be if he got traded to the patriots and hank I agree.
51:47Hank, I know you take care of him. You would take such good care of him. I mean, Vrabel love each other. You love A.J. Brown, right? I mean, yeah. You take him under your wing. Anyone we have on this show, I root for and respect. I don't just say, you know, he's a, what do you call him? Insane person? He's an insane person. This is what your fans think about you, A.J. And he's standing by it. No. He's standing by it. Especially when they won a Super Bowl for your city just last year. That's the other thing. He will get traded. I will still love A.J. Brown. He won a Super Bowl, and he's a great receiver for us.
52:16But he's an insane person. Yeah, that is true. I mean, some of the best receivers are, and he's right there in the mix. Do you think Jalen Hurts can change anything about himself? Jalen Hurts has seven touchdown passes and nine incompletions in the last two weeks. Somebody read a stat. That's a fucking stat. Somebody read a stat. That's a crazy stat. Unfortunately, I wasn't talking about on the field. I'm saying do you think he can change anything about himself off the field to make him more likable to A.J. Brown? Whatever. I don't care. It is what it is. This is the situation. There's nothing more that can be done.
52:52Like, if A.J. Brown is going to be upset after a game where he had 120 yards and two touchdowns, he will never be happy. You're right. You're right. Do you want to hear Jalen Hurts' fortune cookies today? Yep. Yeah, they were good. The one that I sent. Did you send one? No, no. The tweet that I sent you was crazy. He said, the best is yet to come. Number 14, 28, 67. Best is yet to come. Best is yet to come. That's a perfect. Every football player says that. Okay. I don't know if every football player says that. The best is yet to come? Yes. The same thing as saying we're not playing our best football yet?
53:33No. Okay. That is a synonym of we're not playing our best football yet. What about this one? We're always in the process of becoming. Okay. I don't even know what the fuck that means. Right. That one I'll give you. The best is yet to come. I will not. And then there will be a test along the way. Or there will be tests along the way. Football talk. Football talk? Okay. So you get one fortune cookie. He gets one fortune cookie out of me. Grading Jalen Hurts post-game press conference, it gets one fortune cookie. Fortune cookie or football talk should be the name of the segment. Yes. and we are working on getting fortune cookies for the football fortune cookies.
54:13A fortune cheesesteak? No, it's just going to be you're going to eat a cheesesteak and then you're going to have two fortune cookies in your bag. And you're going to break it open and it's going to have a football cookie. You want to put fortune cookies inside of a cheesesteak. I think it would be a real winner. I think they would fly off the shelves. Here's an idea. Yeah, let's make it more complicated. And then you actually have to eat around the paper. Yeah, no, you just bite into it, and then there's like an 8x10 piece of paper. It's actually not the cookie. It's just the paper. Yeah. Called Truth Hurts.
54:46Truth Hurts. Yeah. I like that. For the Giants, Scadabo, that sucked. Yeah. So his ankle went sideways. He's definitely going to be out for the year. But also shout out to Camp Scadabo for trying to walk off the field. He was like, pick me up. I'm just going to walk this one off when his ankle was sideways. Well, he's a psycho. He's a psycho. And then they put him onto the injury card, and he started screaming, let's fucking go as they're taking him off. That was a big-time bummer because even as a division rival of the Giants, I love watching that man play football. It's the best. I'll do a little bit of a spin zone for Giants fans, and I know this doesn't really work, but it was just a thought that popped in my head.
55:24You're not going to the playoffs this year. Hopefully, Cam Scatterboo is fine and he's fully healthy for next year. this is less hits that he has to take and you get maybe a fresher you know depending on how the injury goes you never want to get injured but you can kind of spin it in your your head like hey the his running style only has a certain shelf life yeah of carries of hits of everything this year is not really gonna look great next year he's back 100 healthy ready to go the workload doesn't you know add up yeah that's my only spin so i saw that some of the some of the new york giants fans here at barstool put out a shirt of dart and scadaboo in the first quarter of this game and it just said white boy fall and then we saw a white boy fall yeah like five seconds after the shirt came out yeah that's that's a tough break for him yeah uh but yeah i'm bummed out about scadaboo i think that uh i think the giants are in a position where this season is now fully about just developing jackson dart yep i think that whatever magic they had when they beat the eagles there were a lot of giants fans that were like watch out we're gonna go on a run here now it's just about making sure that jackson dart progresses gets better learns how to compete and you can just put all your stock in that now let's get a good draft pick for next year but i want jackson dart to look good yeah i i think that is exactly right it's just jackson dart looking better and better the pass rush uh there was a very funny moment after the game where kvon thibodeau was asked about the tush push play and he said sounds like some bullshit to me and then brian burns in the locker next to him said you'll get fined and he replied sorry that was a great call by the ref okay we're good so let's go with that great call by the ref max you should actually you should just read great call by the ref That's what it was.
57:19Whatever. Do you want a pro Sirianni stat? Sure. For the first time in Philadelphia Eagles history, franchise history, they have started six and two or better in four consecutive seasons. Pretty damn good. That's Nick Sirianni. Pretty damn good. Pretty good. Pretty good. You're not satisfied. I'm sensing this is like a recurring theme sometimes with Max and the Eagles. wins that should feel like wins that actually feel like losses. Yeah. No, this was a dominating win. It's more A.J. Brown. But you're still kind of bummed out about the whole A.J. Brown situation. You're pissed off about the ref stuff.
57:59No, I'm very happy with the way the Eagles look today. Okay, but I have no issues with the way the Eagles look. As far as the team, the team as it's constructed right now, good vibes. Yeah. It's fine. It's fine. The opposite side of the Nick Sirianni, pro Nick Sirianni stat, the Eagles 6-2 or better in four consecutive seasons, first time in franchise history. The Giants, last nine seasons, in eight out of the nine seasons, they have had one or two wins after week eight. That's tough. Really tough. What Eli Manning has done for the Giants organization in terms of, like, oh, yeah, they won those two Super Bowls.
58:39Because they've been, it's hidden the fact that Mr. Mara and the Giants franchise has just been so horrifically bad for a decade now. Yeah. Two and six, two and six, two and six. The one Daniel Jones year, six and two. Two and six, one and seven, two and six, one and seven, one and seven. That's the last nine years through week eight. And it's been 13 years now since they've beaten the Eagles in Philadelphia. And those jerseys looked awesome for the Eagles today. They're 5-0. Yeah, 5-0. 5-0 in the Kelly Green. Why does the league do this to us? Why does the league have uniforms like the Eagles, Kelly Green, like the Broncos, the orange and the blue helmets that they trot out for us once every five weeks and we're just salivating all over ourselves, and then they just go back to the other.
59:26Why is that a thing? This is where I wish we had Adam Silver as the commissioner of the NFL because we could easily bully him. We should do an entire season. Follow me on this. an entire season, every team wears their best uniform for the whole year. Yeah. Just do it. The Kelly Greens are so, so good. The Eagle in the middle of the field, so awesome. You agree, Max, right? Of course. Don't do anything else. And the White Kelly Greens are also awesome, but I want them to just go full Kelly Green. All the time. Yeah, all the time. Yeah. Because the home and away would be great. I don't know why teams are just afraid of saying, hey, you know what?
1:00:07We actually did have better uniforms 30 years ago. It's okay to say that. When was the last time they changed their primary uniform? Eagles? Yeah. It's been a while. Like my whole life. They could just go back. Yeah. Nothing's stopping you. Teams could just go back. The Broncos should just go back. I do like the white ones with the Kelly Green. I look at that. I see Randall Cunningham. Like if they had, if that was just their home in a way, it would be awesome. Yeah. Even the Giants, their helmets, the helmets say Giants. I think that's the one. Yeah. When they wear them every now and then, they look so cool.
1:00:46And they should wear them, not the NY, and when it says Giants, the Lawrence Taylor Giants. Those, just pick your best and go with that. Please. They'll never do it. Max, go under your head. AJ Brown will be an eagle for this entire season, yes or no? Yes, he will be an eagle for this entire season. He won't be happy about it, but he will be an eagle. And if not, we get to shoot you. Howie is not going to just eat the cap because he's upset. He's not going to make this team worse just to make A.J. Brown's feelings not hurt. I would do that for A.J. I'd do anything to make sure that his feelings were okay.
1:01:23Feelings matter. Feelings do matter. Be a sympath. He will be an eagle. You think feelings don't matter. Unless there's a deal that makes the Eagles better. I think that's what the report said. If Howie makes the deal, then by nature, right? Howie did it again. Would this be a fucking Howie? That's the beauty of Howie. He could do anything. He could trade A.J. Brown for a bag of balls, and he'd be like, fucking Howie, he got the best bag of balls you could find. These balls are incredible. They're Shane's balls. Shane has the best balls. Fact. It's just a fact. Fact. The Bucs cream skulls. Always.
1:02:03Always. Great jersey. Great jersey. Max, I'll just say, the Eagles look awesome. Like, on the field, the Eagles look very good. Yeah, it was a good game. Yeah, very good game. I needed an easy win. Today was a nice easy win. Today, yeah, you guys looked very good. And the Saquon run, having that come back, oh, shit. That's the Eagles. Against a good defensive line, too. Yeah. I do love Brian Dable's freakouts. something about like a bald short man just losing it yeah he is got like a little bagel boss energy to him it almost seems like every game he knows how thin the ice is this year and he is he's conducting himself in such a manner it's like every call yeah it might be his last he's like when you're in a really bad mood and someone's someone asks you how you're doing you're like I'm fine oh well clearly you're not at some point this season Brian Dable might tell a ref like you're gonna get me fired yeah hey fuckhead yeah switch the call otherwise i'm fired he's doing everything he's going in the injury tent he's pulling out all the stops okay next game texans 26 49ers 15 this is my one i have one of these a week one game a week where i actually have a thought and it comes true and then i feel like a genius forget about all the other games that i get wrong every single week but the defense of the 49ers is decimated to a point where they couldn't even get a pass rush on the Houston Texans and CJ Stroud looked really good.
1:03:28Yeah, the best win of the year for the Texans. By far. By far. Not even close second. Mac Jones does not look like the long-term answer. I feel like the soft benching might have gotten a little harder. I think that bench got hard today. I think the Texas defense is that good. They are very good. Mac Jones didn't look great. They started the game just giving nothing in terms of, I think they ended up with like 223 yards. So they weren't able to move the ball. They weren't able to give their defense a rest. But I think that's more about the Texans D-line is so, so nasty. Neil Hunter, Will Anderson, he was running.
1:04:07He was, Mac Jones, I think he only got sacked twice, but he must have gotten hit hard a million times. It felt like every play he was almost going to die. He had a couple where he was scrambling around, got hit, was slow to get up, and then reminded him, okay, you can't be hurt right now, Mac. We don't really have any other options, so just go back out there and pretend it doesn't hurt. Here's what the Texans did a good job of making the Niners entirely one-dimensional. Yes. They took away the running game, and they're like, Mac Jones is going to have to beat us. Mac Jones could not beat them.
1:04:35Yeah. Yeah. It was just a really good game for, again, C.J. Stroud looked comfortable C.J. Stroud again, where he was hitting everyone. They didn't have Nico Collins. he looked like he had that confident poise in the pocket you know not freaking out it probably was because he was not he didn't get sacked once and they were able to block for him and turns out he's a really good quarterback when they can block for him and not having Fred Warner on defense for the Niners it hurts them a lot in a game like this Warner, Bosa, Huff that was the big thing going into this game I was like I love the Texans in this game they lost Huff as well They don't have anyone who can get to the passer, and that's really the Texans.
1:05:19If you can rush the passer, the Texans are fucked. If you can't, C.J. Stroud's going to look like he looked today. And you should be able to stop the run. You should be able to get to the passer with that offensive line. Right. You should. I like Woody Marks, too. He's got a little pop to him. Yeah, Woody Marks was good today. He's got some nice pop. They've got to feed Woody more. Yeah, although I kind of like that they're doing the right thing by Nick Chubb, being like, you're such a good player, we're still going to give you that. I think that's a you're a great guy. Yeah, you're a great guy.
1:05:45We're going to give you 15 carries. It's not going to look great. The other guy's going to have the pop. He's getting lifetime achievement touches. Yeah. Everybody likes you, Nick Chubb. We won't completely sideline you. Hey, remember Damian Pierce? Yes. What happened to Damian Pierce? No idea. Remember Joe Mixon? I do. What happened to Joe Mixon? Nobody knows. Yeah. No one knows. Or any of them. We don't. Yeah. We actually don't know. Has anybody seen Joe Mixon? Is Joe Mixon still alive? What is actually the story? Find Joni. No one knows. Non-football injury, right? Okay. Could be anything. And he's on the Texans, though.
1:06:20He is on the Texans. He is literally on the Texans. Zach, do you have the Joe Mixon update? As of right now, I just know he's coming. Oh, wow. What's the team? What happened to your throat? A little bit of a voice issue. Yeah. Yeah? Not good. What happened? I think it's just really cold outside, so the vocal cord just frees up a little. You've been inside today, though. All day. That's true. Dude, the stairwell does get a little frigid. So that's where you were right before? You're right. My theory there might just be destroyed. You rocked out at Pup Punk. That could be it. That could be it. Were you singing along?
1:06:53I was. They played some great songs over there at Pup Punk. That's okay. There was a moment. By the way, Zach is a fucking star. Him and Jacob are both stars. Oh, the cream team. The whole crowd started chanting for them. We got Jacob up on stage. He got his round of applause, and we were looking for Zach. The entire room was just chanting, Zach, Zach. and he was nowhere to be found. We had to look all over for him. We dragged him out from the basement, got him on stage. Zach leans over to me. He goes, we're in Iowa, right? I was like, yeah, we're in Iowa. He goes, what's up, Iowa? Nailed it. Into the mic.
1:07:26No, they're the best. Do you know that they are Steph and LeBron? They were actually born in the same hospital. Yeah, it's crazy. Crazy. Crazy. Which hospital? What's up? What hospital? I need a stat correction on that because I think I reported to Jacob the wrong hospital. Oh. So that's on me. What hospital? What hospital? I don't think I had the right one. I think I may have been born either in the Newport News or the Chesterfield Hospital. One of those two, I think is correct. You were born in Southeast Virginia, not in North. Yes. Okay. All right. That sounds like a - My parents lived in that county when we were babies, so I mixed that up.
1:08:03So that sounds like a Jacob or Jacob asked you and you're too nice to say, no, that's not the hospital I was born in. I just know I had the wrong one at the time when he said it. That felt that sounded right. Got it. It was the county, not the hospital. Got it. Fairfax County Hospital. So I got to get hospitals down and family lineage down. Don't have that. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Zach doesn't know like where his family's from. Country of origin. Not a lot of origin talk in the fam. No. No. Waffle House. Big Waffle House, maybe for sure. Would you guess like England? I mean, that would make some sense for sure.
1:08:42Okay. You could see that. Yeah. Yeah. I could see me looking like a lot of dudes in England. That would make sense. Finding out where Zach's from. By the way, did D 'Amico Ryans take a shot at us? What did he say? He said the noise is just a lot of people who don't know what they're talking about. We understand the outside noise is just noise. We would never go ask anybody who's giving the noise their opinion about how to do game plan or how to play football. Bring the noise. We are the noise. We are the noise. Yeah. Avoid the noise. I actually feel like we've been pretty fair. The Texans have been bad for the most part.
1:09:15But today they were going to be good. I don't think that we're noise. I think that anyone who watched that Monday Night Football game would make some noise after that. Correct. Like he was actually noise on my television. Yes. On Monday. Yes. He made us stay up late. He made me want to avoid his noise. Yes. All facts. Okay, before we get to the next game, let's do a couple ads, and then we will get to Hank, Patriots, and Browns. That was every Browns game ever. We've said it a few weeks ago.
1:11:40The Browns do the same thing every single week. Their defense is awesome in the first half. Then their defense can't stay on the field forever. And their opponent kicks the shit out of them. They held the Patriots to three field goals in the first half. Then the Patriots absolutely whooped the shit out of them in the second half. Yeah, no, the defense was really, really good. It made Drake look human. Threw a pretty bad interception in the first half. But it was a good win. He was getting the ball out quickly. He kind of adjusted to the pressure coming. He was getting the ball out quickly. Still making accurate deep throws.
1:12:16And it ended up being like a snoozer, no doubter, in the second half. but there was a solid portion of the first half where I was like, this feels a little sketchy. Yeah, you're playing with them a little bit. And then the Browns did a pretty hilarious move. They called a flea flicker. That didn't work. And then they immediately followed it up with a double pass to Dylan Gabriel. They were trying to throw it back to them and then find somebody downfield. That also didn't work. I think they did two gadget plays in a row for a total of two yards, and we were hoping that they were just going to do all gadgets, just turn the entire Browns offense into nothing but gadgets.
1:12:50because at that point it's like they did not think that they could beat you with their offense. They were just hoping for like a couple fluke plays and then to have their defense maybe get a score at some point. And it looked like the Browns defense is good enough to do stuff like that. They're good enough to keep you in games. But then after a while they're just like, I don't know how much more dominant Myles Garrett could be in a game. I really don't. Five sacks. He played like the most dominant game ever. They were double teaming him. They were chipping him like every play. He didn't care. He was going to get a sack.
1:13:18and to get that from your defense and then just have nothing to do on offense was tough to watch. Yeah. Dylan Gabriel is terrible. Dylan Gabriel is terrible. So, Miles Garrett had five sacks. He is the 20th guy to do that since 1982. No other guy had their team lose by more than three points. Most of them won because if a defensive player gets five sacks, you're probably going to win the game. But the very worst was a loss by three. The Browns lost by 19. That just tells you how bad the Browns offense is. They had a good opening script and then everything else after. Miles Garrett had more sacks than Dylan Gabriel's yards per attempt at four and a half.
1:14:05Yeah, it's tough. It's brutal. I don't know. He can't be the answer. after the game miles garrett kind of he kind of little broed drake may after getting beaten by drake may that's how good his game was what'd he say he said i think he's a great human being i think he's a good quarterback who is soon to be a great quarterback i like how he's grown it's nice to be a part of his journey hate to be on this end of it but it's nice to see how he's leading his team he's helped them rebuild into what they are now in a way i'm proud of him and i'm happy to see his success hell yeah almost like i don't know if that's a little bro as much as it's just I think he would like to play for a quarterback like Drake May at some point.
1:14:44Yeah. That's a respect. That's a respect quote. Yeah. You see Matt Collins win as Miles Garrett's sweatpants for Halloween? Yeah. You see how he showed up to the game? Yeah. Can you pull up that video of Matt Collins? Speaking of little bros. He showed up as a... Yeah, as Miles Garrett's sweatpants. Look at him. See? Look at that. It's on the screen. I know what he showed up as. he looks like a big dick he's walking diagonally he looks like it's a bishop yeah in terms of little broing quotes mike vrabel's quote has to hurt a little for the browns he said when their gimmick plays ran out we played pretty good defense and that's exactly what happened well the gimmick plays didn't even work yeah but then when they ran out they were in a real big trouble they were like that's what the brown should they should sit down this week and go through the history of every gimmick play ever run in the nfl and just do nothing but gimmicks all gadgets on offense give it a shot fumble ruski or at least start four times in a row yeah laterals they'll never expect it the fourth time yeah or start shador because i i don't know if shador's gonna be any better but you might as well right yeah like what what's the point of not starting shador maybe he's bad and you won't get a draft pick for him i don't know i've i i can't come up with a real reason anymore.
1:16:02I don't think the Browns can either. I don't think so. They play the same game every single week. It's the exact same game every single week. Hank, Drake May, are you gay for May? Yeah. Okay, because I saw that. Our one Nick Fasoli had that quote, and then I think we have those shirts in the Barstool store. We're selling those shirts. I'm gay for May. Probably flying off the shelves. Will you be buying one? Yeah. I like Feidelberg. Feidelberg came out with a Gotta Love the Drake Seinfeld. I like those shirts too We should put out our Drake May shirt We could That's really gay for May Yeah But yeah Drake May has been You're such a weird dude Who?
1:16:42PFT Yeah You're so obsessed with him I'm obsessed with Drake May And that picture and everything I honestly haven't thought about that picture Since last football season Or whenever we threatened to put it out I just like threatening to put it out on you You think about that picture all the time I mean the dominoes have started to happen where it's, you know, the Bears fucked up taking Caleb instead of Jaden and the Commanders fucked up taking Jaden instead of Drake. No, don't say that. That's not true at all. Drake May has been playing out of control. You are good. You're part of the noise. This is the noise.
1:17:16You guys want to do some stat talk? Go ahead. Do some stat talk, Hank. Patriots QB Drake May is now the fifth player in NFL history to produce 200-plus passing yards and 100-plus passer rating in seven consecutive games, joining Aaron Rodgers, Pat Mahomes, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning. Pretty damn good. That's very good. Pretty damn good. And the other one I liked was Browns, D.C. Jim Schwartz has coached 49 regular and postseason games in Cleveland. Drake Mays, 54.5 dropback success rate against the Browns, his second-best QB game against this defense in Schwartz's tenure. Yeah, Drake Mays having an awesome year.
1:17:54He leads the NFL in passer rating. It's 116.4. he leads the nfl in completion percentage 75.2 percent insanely impressive see i don't have to put others down to build myself i think drake i'm a big drake may stand who put someone down yeah i'm just saying like i i think that drake may is a great quarterback and much like miles garrett i'm just happy to be a part of his journey that's nice of you yeah she's able to bring back uh individual player warm-ups no announcements what do you mean they since 2001 did the We're coming out as a team. And today, Vrabel said we're going to start going back to individually announcing players.
1:18:33I think our players will like it. Huh. Oh, huge. Do you like it? Yeah. Vrabel's doing it. I like it. Then you like it. Yeah. Yeah. The Drake May looks awesome. There's nothing really you can say. He's not had, outside of the first game of the season, he hasn't had really a bad game yet. Yeah. And he had to be a bad pick today. He showed he was human. And other than that, it was great. He said he forgot. He didn't see the guy in front of him and forgot he could jump. Ah. That's actually very funny. That happens, yeah. That's the quote of a quarterback who has not thrown a lot of picks this year.
1:19:06When you can joke about your pick, things are going well. Tua's not saying that joke. Although he kind of did when he said he was too short. Tua shouldn't make that joke, I should say. Yeah, but he will. Yeah. Well, speaking of which. Oh, Travion Henderson also looked good, Hank. They did. Yeah. Bad fumble. Bad fumble. Bad fumble. Speaking of which, Tua is back. Dolphins 34, Falcons 10. This was a shocking result. Yeah, very. Because it wasn't, you know, Kirk Cousins playing. I thought Kirk Cousins still could do something. I was wrong about that in terms of the offense. The Falcons offense basically never got going.
1:19:54and it was I think four of their first drives five drives were three and outs and then when they did get going it was 17-3 and Bijan fumbled in the red zone and it was more shocking that the Falcons couldn't run the ball against the league's worst run defense and that the Dolphins played bully ball and ran it down the Falcons throw yeah that was it was a weird game script for the Falcons because they were down they were down pretty big at halftime but I don't think they were down big enough to stop running the football yeah if it was 17-3 without a doubt your best player is bijon robinson if you're down 17-3 that's not you're not in panic mode yet yeah i do feel like the the falcons went into panic mode but this is the dolphins are not i don't think that they're a confusing football team the falcons are very confusing oh i'm because you can't tie you if you think that you can time the falcons you can't i'm done with the falcons hashtag done i can't take them as a serious team after this game i'm sorry i wanted to believe in them this year yes drake london was out but you can't lose by 34 10 to the miami dolphins who are reeling to a point where they just got absolutely killed by the browns and the sky has been falling for two months for the dolphins and then they come into your house and just bully you yeah can't do the The formula for the Dolphins is actually very clear.
1:21:18Lost, lost, lost, win. Lost, lost, lost, win. Okay. And next up, they're playing the Ravens. Lost, probably. The Bills. Lost. Lost. And then the Commanders in Spain. Lost. You say it? Lost. Lost. And then they play the Saints. Win. Win. Lost, lost, lost, win. Lost, lost, lost, win. So Mike McDaniel just has to just hold on, hold his capris as tight as he can for the next three weeks. He was wearing them today? He was, I think. I think it was a Capri off. It was a Capri off. Well, we also had Tua showing up with some sort of eye infection. Yeah. Did he have pink eye? I don't know, but he had to wear sunglasses before the game inside, and then he had to wear a visor during the game, and it kind of was swaggy.
1:22:03It looked good. Threw four touchdowns. I think he might have pink eye. I think it's an ass-eating season. Was this? I mean, he didn't throw an interception. No. And he could only, one of the eyes looked like it was swollen shut. Yeah, maybe he's like a sniper. He's got to close one of his eyes to start throwing not to the other team. Or maybe that was the bad eye. Yeah. But yeah, it was a good game for the Dolphins. I don't really know. They've been so bad that if you're a Dolphins fan, I guess you could celebrate this. Although it feels like you have to change everything. But you still kick the shit out of them.
1:22:36This is one of those nice surprise pop-up wins that you get. Big time. Yeah, you get a good pop-up win and then you move on. Then you deal with whoever's next. And then ultimately you hope that whatever happens this season, it's going to result in the firing of everybody in the front office that you do not like. Yeah. It's a pop-up win. And for the Falcons, it's a I can't take you guys seriously win. Loss. Excuse me. Loss. Because I still don't understand how they didn't run the ball. Yeah. It doesn't make sense, right? I think a lot of teams, you might abandon the run at that point. But you're playing against the Dolphins that have a history of blowing these types of leads.
1:23:09Here are the RB1s versus the Dolphins this year. Quinchon Judkins, 84 yards, three touchdowns. Kamani Vidal, 138 yards, one touchdown. Rico Dottle, 234, one touchdown. Brees Hall, 111 yards. James Cook, 118 yards. Ramond Stevenson, 142 yards. B. John Robinson, 14 yards. This, they just, maybe they were able to sell out for the run because Kirk Cousins was the quarterback and also Drake London was out. But man, that was a, it wasn't a fluky game. It was, they bullied him. I think Bijan is good enough where even if they're selling, you keep trying. Yeah. You don't just completely forget about him.
1:23:50No, I agree. It was a shocking, shocking result. Because if you told me the Falcons lost in a last second field goal or something like that, and there were some weird things that happened, I could buy it because the Falcons are in that middle ground of, they haven't shown they're a good team yet. but to lose 34 to 10 to the Dolphins. Just got your ass kicked. And for a long time, they had three points. It was like, what was that, 27 to three? Yeah. I actually think when you're looking at a game like that, three points look sadder than zero points. Yeah. Because at some time along the way, you compromised, and you kicked a sad field goal.
1:24:27And I'm down to just say that it's maybe the fact that Tua had the visor. because after the game, Jalen Waddell said, I thought it was kind of swaggy. He looked different. He went out there and played a great game. We always need that out of our captain, our leader. Maybe it's, you know, you're in a marriage for a long time and then your husband or wife comes home wearing something different, new haircut. Yeah, new haircut. Oh, shit. New haircut. Cut it short. This is different. Real quick, Hank just gave a fist pump because Tucker Kraft scored a touchdown. Hank, did you have Tucker Kraft? He's in, yeah.
1:24:59He's in what? He's in the DMC parlay that didn't hit. He's in what, Hank? Yeah, that loss, but I bet him otherwise, too. There you go. Tight end day. National tight end day. Is that okay? I thought that maybe he had bet on Tucker Craft and you didn't know if the other guys had scored. I knew. Okay. You weren't. You're saying maybe because he wasn't awake? I don't know. I didn't say that. I took a nap in the 4 o 'clock games. He took a nap in the 4 o 'clock games. That was always the plan. That was always the plan. I came in. I honestly felt good. I was fine during the Patriots game. I took a little nap, drank a delicious, this Stella Blue can, espresso, coffee, mocha.
1:25:38There you go, Hank. Brought me right back to life, and now I'm good for the show. I needed a two-hour nap. If that's wrong, sue me. Yeah, I agree. What was the cash out for that? Would that pay out? What? Tucker Craft. Anytime touchdown. I don't know. Oh, I think it was like plus 145. 150 to one? Oh, nice. One and a half to one. Can I not bet on the guys to score touchdowns? You can bet on whatever you want. You can bet on whatever you want. Yeah, I bet him too. Yeah. Yeah. That's huge.
1:26:10What, Max? Nothing. He just keeps looking at me. I have nothing to do with this. I feel like I'm missing something too. Yeah. Hank, I want to hear about the bachelor party when we get to the afternoon games. Okay. Okay. The last early game was Bills 40, Panthers 9. Ass kicking. This was just the James Cook game. He had 153 yards at halftime. He had 216 yards in the entire game. He was so good. The Dolphins. I actually, you know what my big takeaway from this game is? I blame Joe Flacco. I blame Joe Flacco for being old and being able to still do it and having guys like Andy Dalton still think they can do it.
1:26:54Because he can't. Kirk Cousins, same way. You can't. Before the car accident, Andy Dalton looked okay. No. He did. I watched Andy Dalton in this game. He can't do it. Joe Flacco has set a bad example. You're not Joe Flacco. Kirk Cousins, yeah. That entire generation. Joe's the guy. Joe's the guy. He's an anomaly. Everyone thinks that they can be like Joe. They can't. You're not Joe. It was sad watching. Hit a very, very comical fumble. Very comical fumble. A couple sacks, a couple bad clock management. It was just a bummer to watch the Panthers. I actually think Meow Mix guys should bring their podcast back right now because you got absolutely killed.
1:27:36And the Bills, because we kind of forgot about them, they lost two games in a row, went on by, played the Panthers. They played some good run defense today, which that, you know, Rico Dattel and Hubbard are a good running game, and the Bills did a good job against the run, and James Cook continues to be awesome, and Josh Allen smiled. Yeah, he was happy. He smiled after the game, so his grandma's happy again. He was very happy. Shout out Nana. This game was more along the same lines of what Buffalo just does after bye weeks. Yeah. So they're now 9-0 after the bye with McDermott. they average going into today 27 and a half points 352 total yards and their defense steps up to after the bye they allow 17.6 points per game and then they also forced uh in the past 17 takeaways today obviously they scored a lot more points than what their average was their defense looked great too i'll be interested to see if they can hang on to this if they if this is now the bills that we should expect yeah or if they just played Andy Dalton yeah I don't know which one it is but whatever they were doing today looked really really good yeah it looked very very good easy win needed kind of one of those easy wins to get back on track because remember we were saying it the Bills two losses it wasn't just the two losses it was the games before that where they kind of struggled a little bit with the Saints they kind of struggled a little bit with the Dolphins where it didn't look like clean.
1:29:06This one looked clean. James Cook was all James Cook was so good. That was the fourth time in NFL history. A player has had 215 plus rushing yards and two touchdowns with under 20 carries. Oh, that's pretty crazy. That's really good. Yeah. So Bobby Mitchell in 1959 Bo Jackson 1987 Derrick Henry in 2018. Pretty cool company. That is very cool, especially considering that the Carolina Panthers defense was good against the run for the last three weeks. Right. They were very good against the run. And they were able to run the ball. Yeah. And so this one was, yeah, the Bills, it was a no-doubter. Just the easiest game possible.
1:29:47Even the beginning of the game, it looked like the Panthers would maybe hang because they were forcing the Bills to work really hard for their yard. Like, it was 3-0 after the first quarter, and then James Cook broke it all open. It's like, all right, forget that. That was not going to happen. This is a good thing to happen to the Bills going into this weekend. Who are they playing? They got the Chiefs. Oh. In Buffalo? We got our Bills-Chiefs game in Buffalo. Ooh. Maybe a little snow? I don't know what the forecast is. I hope not. I'd like to see the lake get involved a little bit. We don't need snow.
1:30:18Whose line is it anyway? Whose line is it anyway? DraftKings Sports. We don't know. Yeah, it doesn't matter. Yeah, because it's Monday. Yeah, but they'll still probably put one out. I'm going to guess right now it is Bills minus two and a half. Three. It's Bills plus one and a half. But that will probably shift depending on. You think when the commanders cover? When the commanders win. Yeah. Outright. Commanders win. That line shifted today. Somebody knows something. It's down to 11 and a half. Would that? Oh, okay. Yeah. Someone knows something. Ten and a half. Ten and a half. It shifted again.
1:30:52I mean, Terry's back. Timo's back. Yeah. Someone's got some info. Shit's about to get wild. Mm-hmm. Marcus. Okay, let's do a couple more ads, and then we'll do the afternoon games, and then we'll talk Sunday Night Football.

1:33:30From this game? Didn't see a single play, I don't think. What did you think about Tyler Shuck? He was shucking it up out there. He got in. Kind of corny, yeah. They finally made the move. Kellen Moore finally made the move. Bench Spencer Rattler. How was the nap? Let's talk about your bachelor party because it was probably the most aggressive bachelor party trick scheduling. And I say that in like a partial jealousy. I think I would have died. But if you're a little younger, it was maybe the coolest planned bachelor party I've ever heard of. And you are paying for it today. Big time. Yeah. Shout out to my buddy, Zach.
1:34:12He's in the music industry. It was his bachelor party. He went to Virginia Tech. But yeah, I mean, we've spent, I lived on a tour bus. We've done a lot of these trips and we've had RVs. this rv that we were on was like the nicest rv i've ever seen it looks sick it was like a legitimate we there's 12 dudes sleeping on it perfectly fine uh we started in nashville thursday night didn't leave till like 1 a.m so we got to nashville had some drinks everyone everyone was filing in got on the bus drove to blacksburg virginia because it was zach went to virginia tech how long was that drive a big majority hokies i don't seven hours eight hours we were playing dice playing cards like it was the first night it was the classic like you go way too hard on night one finally fell asleep on the bus woke up we were at woke up at a golf course and it was like hey wake up we're teeing off in 20 minutes uh if you had to redo night one you'd probably go to sleep a little bit earlier oh yeah to sleep a little bit earlier or Or maybe just go on Friday morning to.
1:35:15Well, it was hard. It was hard. It wasn't easy. It was like, we golfed at 9 a.m. So I was like, you can't miss that. No, you're right. You're right. But, yeah, it was like starting. I was like, all right, well, I'm kind of hungover. Like, might as well start drinking early. Great round of golf. Beautiful golf course. And then we went. Again, it was all Virginia Tech kids. So they were all excited to go out, hit the town before the game, go to Blacksburg. 25-year anniversary of Enter Sandman. No, awesome. So you went to the game Friday night. Went to the game Friday night. Went out after. We didn't leave until 2 a.m.
1:35:46We left. We went to the bar, so the bar is closed, and then got on the bus and left. They have this drink. I think the place is called Tots, and it's called a rail. And it's like everyone at College Town is like, oh, you got to try this drink. It's the best drink. It'll get you so fucked up. And it's like, yeah, every college bar says that. Probably not that big a deal. I have, and I think I had two of them. I have never in my life. Then I woke up Saturday, and I'm like, don't hear anyone on the bus. I'm like, oh, everyone must be still sleeping. We're probably not even there yet. I get up. Everyone was gone.
1:36:19Everyone was off the bus already. And where are you now? We're in Columbia, South Carolina. In a parking lot. That's a very true story about the rail. Everybody has two rails their first time because they've heard about this drink. And then who knows what happens for the rest of the night. And then they're like, I'm never having two rails again. Except when they have a friend in town. they're like you gotta try the rails then their friend has two rails yeah and it was it was like i legitimately like felt like my head was like four times as big as it was supposed to be the next morning like i thought it was going to explode like i actually thought my head was going to explode uh everyone they had got one hotel room so people could shower but that hotel room was like a 40 minute walk from where the bus was i was like i'm not showering like that showering i didn't shower the entire weekend uh and after after about an hour of like i was legitimately just like lying on the ground on pavement in the sun like moaning and groaning every time i moved and finally like i took some some advil it like finally i was like all right i can like think and then i just started drinking again went to south carolina which is beautiful beautiful school beautiful uh one of the only sec schools i haven't really been to reminded me a lot of lsu in terms of like the it's kind of in the middle of nowhere a little bit sketchy but like an awesome college town uh logistically one of the worst places to leave i've ever been to it's kind of like soldier field like yeah we left the game was like you're you're the bar we're trying to go to is a mile and a half away it was going to take two hours to drive you were part of coctober though uh we were part of coctober i went on the uh the uh what was it called the cockaboose there's a train right outside the train right outside the stadium that like you know like uh donors like pay a bunch of money to have this little like basically like a private little you know train living room with tv area that's like literally one second outside the stadium the cock boost that was fun oh did they do sandstorm sandstorm was electric they did sandstorm like 20 times sandstorm is one of the i was thinking about sandstorm is one of the greatest like dudes like it gets the boys yeah it is one of the most for the boys songs ever can you compare it to uh inter sandman what hit harder i like sandstorm more like i love say like sandstorm just brings me back to just like you know being being in a basement with my boys just blasting sandstorm dudes only and just going nuts and that was like the same type of vibe they should make a mashup enter sandstorm yeah so so you went so you went south carolina alabama south carolina alabama great game and obviously like when they play in the bachelor trip in in the summer it was like it's just gonna be a top 10 matchup yeah yeah uh still was a great game it was a great game south carolina choked yeah they they almost did it it would have been like you it it is funny and it's kind of fucked up but it's like and i don't because i we bet south carolina but it's like the It is funny how much different a vibe is after a game where they won that game.
1:39:05Oh, yeah. The town would have burned on fire. And then everyone was kind of sad. We went out to the bars after. It was still a great time. But it would have been probably ten times crazier if they had won that game. I have a question, Hank. Yes. Is South Carolina the most random state in the country? I think it might be. That was Hank's tweet from over the weekend. So random. South Carolina, the most random state. South Carolina has the top. If I had gone there, all I'd ever wear is the Palmetto logo. That logo's awesome. But yeah, I was just like, why? And again, I was obliterated drunk, and I was like, why am I in South Carolina?
1:39:44What is South Carolina? It's a lot of fun. Yeah, but it's very rant. South Carolina is very notable places. Yeah, it does. Charleston, extremely notable. Myrtle Beach. Hilton Head. Yeah. But those are all transplant cities to me. But it's still like there are way more random states. Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of old money that's in Charleston, like families that have lived there for generations. Idaho. There's also a lot of people that moved there, though, yeah. The Murdochs. Yeah, the Murdochs, yeah. Some of them still live there. And then, yeah, same thing. We went out until the bars closed, went out after.
1:40:22It's also like a great golf state. Yeah. Great golf state. Maybe the top five golf state. Yeah, no. I mean, it was just random. That was my vibe. And then I woke up, and I thought the original plan was like, you know, we'll be at the airport at like 738. I'm like, oh, we're on a bus. Like, there's no way I missed this flight. I'm getting dropped off at the airport. Like, it would be impossible. And I woke up, and I checked my phone. My flight boarded at 850, and I checked my phone. We're still driving. It's like 830. I'm like, uh, are we close? Like, yeah, we're pulling up in 10 minutes. and then I got into security.
1:41:01I'll send you guys a picture. It was one of the scariest. I was like, there's 0 % chance I'm making this flight. Like, actually zero. Memes was going around on Friday being like, we won't see him until Monday. No, yeah. I felt, and like I was, again, like I had just woken up 10 minutes ago. I was like, couldn't even, you know. I think I left like half of my shit on the bus. Like, I literally woke up, just like grabbed whatever bag I could find, got to the airport. I basically like finessed my way through the line. I went through pre-check even though I'm not don't have pre-check like I got to the point where like I'm just gonna try and fucking bum rush my way onto this flight they let you through yeah I just like kind of was like yeah pre-check I was like yep and just like kind of like strong strong walked my way through and it was so much chaos going on it was like one of those like they probably were like hey hey and I just kind of kept walking and then no one stopped me as a pre-check guy myself now I need to report you and uh and so so that that was it the the guys all went home then we'll have there was yeah there was like six of us that went to the airport and then like i think six or seven strong soldiers uh went from the airport to the falcons dolphins unreal no one's from atlanta no one's from miami three games i was laughing so hard in the caves looking at the game being like they're at this game right now yeah and they were they were like yeah i was they were i can't imagine in the state that they're in right now.
1:42:23So nobody showered on the bus? No, there wasn't a shower on the bus. No shit on the bus, no shower on the bus. I shit like two times the entire weekend. What a weekend. Your body just adapts sometimes. It was a blast. Yeah, I mean, it was. And everyone that was on the bus, everyone gave it their all. It's like, you know, older guys, you know, kids, and like no one, everyone just, everyone gave it their all. And like, I've slept on a bus before. Like, I've done that. There was a lot of the guys I like couldn't sleep because they were on a moving bus. So we're like, I didn't sleep. So this might be Instagram story, close friends, if I'm talking out of turn.
1:42:58But it was a very funny picture that you put up. It was maybe like Saturday at 2 o 'clock. And Hank just posted a picture of him on the bus with like five dudes. He's like, I've been on this bus for way too long to not know half these guys. It was like you meet everyone the first time. And then it was like, yeah, we went out Friday and Saturday. I was like looking around. I was like, fuck. I was like, my golf with him. He's like, dude, I don't know who you are. Yeah, no, the guys I played, I played with three other guys or two other guys because Zach was one of them. And I knew those guys' names.
1:43:31Yeah. And then everyone else. It was like, my guy. Yeah. And there he is. You know that you learn their names like the night before. Yeah. And then the morning comes, you're like, shit, we can't do anything about it. We got to read this up. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, it was a fucking blast. It was, yeah, it was just, it was a great, it was a great bachelor trip. It was, it was pretty fucking random. And it was funny seeing AWLs just being like, why are you in fucking Blacksburg? And then why are you in Columbia just traveling the world? All right, that was our Bucs-Saints recap. Yeah. I don't know.
1:44:03The Bucs fucking killed the Saints. It's Tyler Shuck season. I think I picked a great time to nap, by the way. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, you didn't miss anything. You missed nothing. This entire Sunday was nap Sunday. The only thing about this game that stood out was that one Antoine Winfield returned for a touchdown. Yeah. And then the refs were like, yeah, there was a whistle. Somebody blew a whistle, but we don't know who did it. So, yeah, that's not going to be a touchdown for the Bucs. It didn't really matter. It's also very funny to imagine the ref saying that in the Superdome when there's a guy in the front row wearing a giant whistle as a helmet.
1:44:32It's like real life Tim Robinson. It's definitely the whistle man. Yeah. Yeah, the only thing I wrote down from this game was, one, the Bucs' offense didn't look great, especially at goal line. I think they got stopped seven times. It was bad, yeah. And then Levante David just needs a shout-out because the fact that he's still doing it and 35 years old. You don't hear about 35-year-old linebackers very often. And he is. Ten tackles, forced fumble. It's insane. 2012 draft class. So, yeah. I mean, this game sucked. And also shout out to Jason Light for after the game. He posted a video on Twitter of Cam Jordan talking about how the Bucs were going to go back to being the Bucs after Tom Brady left.
1:45:12Oh. And now I don't think that they've lost to the Bucs since that video. No, the Bucs have won the division, I think, every single year. Yeah. Like the last five years. It's L-I-C-H-T, Max. Not spelled light. It's okay. I mean, the Bucs haven't lost to the Saints, I think, since that video. Yeah. Yeah, let's see this. Probably go back to, you know, the Tampa Bay will probably go back to where Tampa Bay is in. Go back to. Yeah, that's some good salt right there. These teams hate each other. Yeah, I like that. This was a domination, like an absolute, there was never a doubt. It was just the Bucs defense was phenomenal.
1:45:52I think we'll always have the Spencer Rattler, he's not that, he's not as bad as you think moments. I had it. Today he was not good today. No, I was thinking it for when he said, I feel like I'm playing winning football. I was like, you know what, he's kind of right. And no, that's not true anymore. He is not playing winning football. and it might be Tyler Shuck time officially. Tyler Shuck did not look better. He had a nice drive when the game was completely out of hand and it was garbage time. Yeah, he looked like a taller Jake Hayner. Yeah. Hank, do you think that you were sleeping with your mouth too open?
1:46:33No. Okay. All right. There was. Now, I don't want to be a part of gotcha culture. Okay. Yeah, no, we're doing close friends, exposes. Well, that was a funny, that was a fair shit. That's fine, that's fine. That was a very funny. Keep it coming. Okay. So I came in the studio during the afternoon games to work on putting some prep together. And I walked in, it was dark. It looked like it was a laser tag game or something because we had all the lights off except for some glowing blue lights and some red ones. And Zach and Memes were sitting there in silence. I walked in, they both looked at me like, what's going on?
1:47:09Then I realized Hank was on the couch. So they were actually like giving a cozy little nap space for Hank. Yeah. They were like, you want to turn on? I was like, no, we can keep them on. And Meme's like, no, no, we'll turn them off. It looks super cozy. Thanks, Meme. So I walked in and then I was wearing the glasses that have the camera on it. So I just wanted to document walking in for the first time. So it wasn't even your fault. It wasn't my fault. The glasses. I turn them on every time I walk in this room.
1:47:32It looks like an actual dead body on the couch.
1:47:41That's a man who went on a hell of a bachelor party. The noise is great, too. His percentages are total under. How long has it been like that? He came back just from whispering.
1:47:57That's a man who partied hard. And during the afternoon games, Hank would wake up occasionally and just, like, pop up and go, oh, fuck the Colts, and then lay back to bed. He goes back to sleep. oh man i'm not gonna lie you i'm impressed yeah the way that you're doing better than i thought you're doing way better than i would be doing right now i i agree like i i got i i fell asleep on the plane again i had to apologize and i got on the plane so late like it was boarding was already boarded so i had to and and they're like all everything was shut i basically got in with a minute left before they closed the door so i was in like 10 my row is 10 and i had to put my bag all the way in the back in like row 40.
1:48:37So we landed and I had to wait for every single person to clear off so I could then go get my bag. But I felt rested. I was like, I'm going to watch this Patriots game, fight for the Patriots game. You were alert. And then I took a nap. And now I'm back. I feel good now. I planned it out well. Yeah, you did. Okay, next game. Cowboys, another one that was a blow. Cowboys 44, Broncos 24. the Broncos finally put together a full game. Their offense, it looked, even at the beginning when Bo Nix threw that pick early, you're like, uh-oh, are they going to do the fuck around thing? Nope, they did not do the fuck around thing.
1:49:13Bo Nix threw the ball everywhere, four touchdowns. RJ Harvey had three touchdowns. The Cowboys' defense is just so, so bad. So, yeah, the Broncos' running game looked incredible today. They were getting whatever they wanted. So J.K. Dobbins had 7.5 yards per carry. R.J. Harvey had 6.5 yards per carry. Mims even had 6 yards per carry. It was just dominant. And Quinn Miners was just steamrolling dudes out there. He was just – the pancake reel of Quinn Miners for this game is going to be incredible to watch because they were just getting their big boys downhill. And Sean Payton was – he was enjoying.
1:49:51He was enjoying just physically dominating the Cowboys defense. And then Michael Irvin said it pretty good. He said, this cannot be an NFL defense that's wearing the Cowboys helmets, space, five exclamation points. It looked ugly on the Cowboys side of the ball. Yeah. I mean, the Cowboys haven't won in Denver since Michael Irvin was on the team, 1992. Yeah. And those Broncos uniforms, which we talked about, looked incredible. They looked like a Super Bowl team in those uniforms. Yeah. There's just something about those uniforms that are special. But yeah, it was finally, the Broncos finally put together the full game that we've been looking for.
1:50:30Not fucking around, not waiting until the fourth quarter. And the Cowboys, I don't really understand. I think Brian Schottenheimer's done a pretty good job coaching this year. But I feel like he's got to look in the mirror and say, hey, our defense is so bad. Fuck it, we're going to go for it on every fourth down. Because there was that one fourth down, I think they were around midfielders, like maybe their own 44 where they were down 13 and they punted. why would you ever put your defense back on the field you have to just go for it on every fourth down and just become that team yeah you should have no confidence in defense whatsoever just i mean it's kind of like the commanders last year we're just like we're going for on every fourth down because if we have three or four fourth downs and we and we convert three out of four it's better than punting four times yeah i i still don't think that the cowboys are a bad team they're still a very fun team very fun but the defense is just so so garbage that if you have a game like that from Dak you have zero chance well I have I have the the Dak uh the Dak beater oh by the way we should have we didn't even talk to Zach about the Bucs I want your Bucs thoughts after this my bad that game was such a snore the Dak beater is Dak when he is sacked two or more times he has three touchdowns five interceptions Dak when he's sacked one or less times 13 touchdowns zero interceptions yeah basically just if you can make sure that you keep him clean he's gonna he's gonna be mvp level and if he gets sacked and gets a little pass rush in his face it falls apart yeah so he also he picked up the ball and ran a few times today i wonder if like another dac beater is make him not run the football yeah like if you look at the stat lines and the games that he's won as opposed to the ones that where he hasn't played as well he might be panicking more and running because he actually looked pretty good running football today he did but then you know who looked really good when he got in was joe milton joe milton in that altitude he did have that one touchdown in that altitude he had a bomb he had a bomb is there a qb controversy at soft benching for dak they got to make sure the broncos patrick patrick sertan went out with two different injuries he's got to be healthy because i the the broncos are every bit of a afc champion contender in my mind if their defense, especially Sertan, is healthy.
1:52:46Yeah, they've lost twice to two good teams and they've barely lost to both. Joe Milton. My bad, my bad, my bad. That's okay. It was a bomb. It was a dot. It was a bomb. You're not allowed to say anything, Max. You aren't. It was a dot. Max told me today he was back in on Joe. It's good to have you. Zach, Bucs thoughts, my bad. No, all good. Thoughts from the game would be early on. Felt kind of good about. Thought we were going to get really active when Anthony Nelson had that batted down pass, turned interception, turned pick six. That was super cool to see. And then the goal line stuff, I didn't really understand.
1:53:24There's like, go again. Send him again. Send him again. And then goal line stop hurt a lot. And then it happens on the other end of the field. We almost don't do it again. Tucker finally gets in. But it was an okay game. Wasn't much going on. Were you on a bachelor party this weekend, Zach? I was just a little under the weather, I think. No bachelor party. It's that hallway that's cold. Stairwell. Yeah, that was a bad analysis. You've never been to a bachelor party? No, not yet. Maybe one of my friends get married at some point. Max. Yeah. One of five. Oh, you can come to two. Two of five would be strong.
1:53:58Two of five of Max's bachelor parties. We're basically just going to be booked up all next year, Max's bachelor parties. Different combos. We're going to do a round robin of Max's bachelor parties. Just five different combos of it. But yeah, Bucs are good. You've got to beat bad teams. It's nice to go into the bye with a win, and then we play back. What? What did Meme say? Meme is feeling himself. You guys love just not talking in the mic. I said, I love combos. Memes just talks back here constantly. I know. We're doing a podcast, talking the mic. You're funny, Memes. You're right. The people like memes.
1:54:47It's tough when PFT and I, there's no moments that we feel more old than when you guys whisper something, all laugh, and we just sit here being like, what do I got? Something on my shirt? I think it's an inside joke. Yeah. Actually, no, that's not an inside joke. You're part of that inside joke. Yeah, but we didn't hear it. here oh yeah well hank heard it i thought you guys could have heard i don't i just inferred i had a good idea of what he might have said yeah uh there should be like a dvd commentary behind this where you guys just do an episode where it's just you reacting to everything else that happens out here that's what memes is doing right yeah just record memes will be like pull up that pull up this thing that that they should talk about which is like nothing that you guys are talking but who cares It was like the jerseys from before the Avalanche and Hurts.
1:55:32It was like pull up the Avalanche jerseys. Yeah, do it. It was a cool jersey, man. Why didn't you pull it up? The Nordiques and the Wailers, which was bullshit, by the way. Yeah, I don't like that. That's like when the Titans do the Oilers. Yeah. You guys are – we love having you chime in. Do it. No. Don't get in your own head. Zach, with the Bucs, I actually – I kind of like the fact that they just tried the same running play up the middle like seven times. It shows like, what would be the word? Perseverance? Yeah. We'll eventually get in here. It's like you should get in from the one-inch line.
1:56:09If we just do this enough, you'll just fall forward one time by mistake. Ram as hard as we can. Yeah. Try my hardest. Try my hardest. Try my hardest. Okay, last game in the afternoon, Colts 38, Titans 14. The Colts are just the best team in the NFL. I don't really know what else to say. They are the best team in the NFL. Jonathan Taylor made me look really stupid with my Jameer Gibbs take the other day because he was like, yeah, you forgot about me. I should just – Jameer Gibbs? No, fuck it. I'll keep making declarative statements, but Jonathan Taylor had another three-touchdown game. He's got four three-touchdown games in eight weeks.
1:56:46LaDainian Tomlinson, when he won the MVP in 2006, he had six. So he is – he should be the MVP. he should be in the discussion at least i agree i agree with that he's insane but i i like the spot that you're in right now where it's like the lions didn't play today no yeah so after the colts play you're like jonathan taylor is the best running back then then you see the lines you're like i forgot about jameer gibbs and then the colts play again you're like oh i forgot about jonathan taylor yeah that's let's see how long we do it yeah go back and forth yeah back and forth back and forth between running backs he's he's awesome yeah it does suck that the last touchdown was not a rushing touchdown.
1:57:23Yeah. It was a receiving touchdown because it was a pop pass from Daniel Jones. So it doesn't technically count on that because I think he might have been the first running back ever to get three rushing touchdowns three weeks in a row. Maybe. So, but the fact that it was like a little pop pass still puts him in, like you said, the LT. Yeah. The crazy, crazy level of accomplishment that he's had. He's got 14 touchdowns through eight games. That was the LT 2006 season when it was just every single Sunday. How many touchdowns is he going to get? Is he going to throw one? Is he going to run one? Is he going to catch one?
1:57:57Oh, four. Yeah. Daniel Jones, we said this last week, but it has fully clicked for me that every time he drops back, I'm expecting a very good play to happen because he's just good at quarterbacking. You know what it is? I was thinking about this during the second half today. The Colts offense, I think it makes the most sense out of any offense. Okay. Like, when I'm watching them, I'm like, this all makes sense. They use Jonathan Taylor correctly. They've got Pittman, who's a great receiver. They got Pierce that they'll just chuck it deep to and he'll catch it every single time when they chuck it deep to him.
1:58:31And then, oh, yeah, they've got Warren, who they'll just use for anything else that they need. Yeah. Like, it's the most sense-making offense in the NFL. Yeah. they're just really fucking good and they're the best team in the NFL right now and I don't know what the rest of the season is going to hold but it happened to me last week where I finally was like you know what this is not just a hot start they're just really fucking good so I expected it this week and they delivered in exactly what I expected the best team in the NFL the Titans also delivered for the most part what I expected from the Titans today I'm just I don't even And I don't want to watch the Titans play football anymore.
1:59:13I feel like Titans fans don't even want to watch the Titans play football anymore. I don't really want to think about the Titans. No, nothing about the Titans is appealing. Cam Ward was a little exciting to start the season, but now he just gets sacked so many times. And his team, you can't really judge Cam Ward because every single game it feels like you turn on and the Titans are down 20 immediately. Yeah. And he gets sacked a bunch, and they're always behind on down and distance. So I'm going to reserve my judgment for Cam Ward. I'm not going to be harsh on him. I just don't really want to see them play football anymore.
1:59:49I agree. So with the Titans recap, Sark might be your coach next year. Yeah. So that's good. Sark could be the coach. I think Sark's a good coach. Shout out to the schedule makers for not making sure the Titans weren't playing in any primetime games. That is good. No Thursday? No Thursday. Love that. I'm actually kind of shocked. I would have expected at least one. They have just an onslaught of noon kickoffs. Love that. Yeah, Sark, though. Sark's cool. Trying to get more money. I think Sark maybe, now he refuted the claim, but that did feel like, hey, we might lose this game to Mississippi State just in case.
2:00:26I want to just throw this out there. I think that Sark would like to go to the NFL. Yeah, I mean, the NFL is, well. Because it could be a money-making thing, but also that would be his, what, third contract extension in five years? Yeah. That seems like a lot. It feels like the boosters at Texas would be like, why are we giving this guy a third reworking of his contract if we're not a great team right now? It's crazy. He's been in the playoffs. Yeah. It's crazy. Okay, last game, Sunday Night Football. Wait, we should send the Titans to Germany. Yeah. The Colts are going over to Germany, right?
2:01:04But the Titans should go. The Titans should raise their hand and say, please send us. We'll take this one. Yeah, send the boys over there. We'll just scrimmage so no one has to watch. Hank, what do you think about the Colts' performance against the Titans? I know the Titans were the Henry Dog. Henry Dog. Yeah, Henry Dog was Dolphins, Jets, Titans, so two out of three. The Colts are really good. They're the best team in the AFC, probably best team in the NFL. Were you upset that they beat the Titans by more than the Patriots beat the Titans? No, I don't care about that. Okay. But the Colts are good.
2:01:39Transit property. On aggregate. The transit property is important. I don't care about the transit property. It doesn't concern you. Playoffs. Yeah. Right now, let's look. If the playoffs started today, the Colts would be the one seed. The Patriots would be the two. Broncos three. Steelers four. Bills five. Chargers six. Jaguars 7 Chiefs still not in the playoffs I would say that's going to change I would guess that the Chiefs are going to get into the playoffs but the Broncos going 6-2 though now definitely you know it's going to be hard if the Broncos keep playing like this it'll be harder for the Chiefs to catch them and then in the NFC it is Packers with the 1 seed Eagles with the 2 seed Bucks with the 3 Seahawks Lions 5 Rams 9ers that's a strong that ties gonna
2:03:06Fuck so much shit up play to tucker craft was it tucker craft tucker craft had it was all the tucker craft but the the the the jordan love just tossed it up there tucker craft picked it from the sky like 50 yard gain but yeah tucker craft was insane jordan love looked so good i i said this last week but the packers are are really really good and i know that the tie kind of got people off the scent maybe the slow start against the bengals they're a scary scary team yeah they were jordan love tonight was just unconscious for like 30 minutes of game time yeah the ball didn't hit the ground it didn't hit the ground even on the one the the passing you're talking about like that was a that was a get me out of here throw yeah by Jordan Love didn't really aim it anywhere he aimed it to the side of a field because like I'm pretty sure this is one-on-one over here I'll just let Tucker jump up and try to grab it uh he's he's a very smart quarterback yeah he's a very smart quarterback and uh even though the running game wasn't what they wanted it to be uh it really never felt in the second half like it was any effort at all for the packers to dominate that game yeah the packers are just really good i don't know what to say that that actually i was rational about the where the bears earlier in the show but watch the packers be this good the gap in the nfc is significant when you're talking about like the eagles the packers the lions even the rams and then kind of everyone else yeah the only thing about the the the kicker You might want to do something about your kicker Because that's the type of guy that's going to come back He's going to come back to haunt you In the playoffs I'm going to give you a momentary Take reprieve I'm going to say right now You get immunity Would you like immunity on your take That the Steelers are going to win a playoff game I'd like to be immunized As Aaron Rodgers put it Weird stuff It's still early It's still early in the season.
2:05:03But they're the same old Steelers. They do look a lot like the exact same Steelers that we've seen for 10 years. Just a pitch left, a pitch right, and then a third and five incompletion. I don't need the immediate. When we were watching the game, it dawned on me that the Steelers don't try to get first downs on second down. No. If it's second and seven, if it's second and eight, second and ten, the Pittsburgh Steelers are not trying to get a first down. They're trying to set up their third and manageable. where they can then run another play that's designed to just barely get a first down. Barely.
2:05:36A good team will get four yards on first down, and then they'll be like, okay, playbook's kind of wide open right now. The Steelers are like, no, let's run the toss to Warren to the outside. Pat, Fryer, Muth, maybe you run like a two-yard out, and then get out of bounds, regroup. We'll see if we can't get that first down. Maybe I'll dump it off to Jalen Warren. I think they call plays to get to a point where Aaron Rodgers and Mike Tomlin have to fight about whether or not to go for it. It seems like that's what they're shooting for. Yeah, I said it a month ago that the Steelers lead the league in short passes where the defense has four guys right on the ball carrier instantly.
2:06:13Yeah. It doesn't feel like any pass is ever in hitting someone in stride down the field or anything like that. Yeah, they're the same old Steelers. I don't know. I mean, they have to play the Colts next week. That will be another big test. But it doesn't feel great. and Aaron Rodgers probably didn't have the best time watching this Packers team look really fucking good. I'm not going to overreact to anything, so I'm not going to back off of my take yet. Okay, fair. Because what are they, 4-3? They're 4-3. Weird stuff happens. Weird stuff does happen. There's a lot of season left. I don't feel great about my take right now, and I don't feel great about it from last Thursday either.
2:06:53But you know what? I'm going to trust old me. Okay. They still have to play. the ravens twice the bills the colts the chargers and at the lions yeah they didn't look good today that's a lot of tough games their easiest games left are the dolphins the bears and the bangles and then the other the rest of their schedule is not so easy uh big cat you want to play a quick game yeah uh called tell me about this leadership okay okay um i'm gonna give you a quote from a famous leader and you tell me if you think that helped or hurt his chances of bringing a team together to succeed okay i like this all right here's the quote you fucking cocksucker i saw this i would say it probably helped you think it helped yeah no in this case it doesn't seem like it helped from the numbers it didn't help uh that was aaron rogers after dk metcalf uh did not catch a ball in the first half was it a drop to go on the books as a drop i think it might have yeah yeah hey do you want to do uh another hot take that i'll have to change in a week uh-huh tucker craft best tight end in the in the nfl i would i would say let's just let's just get fucking reckless that was it yeah was it the last thing we watched and yeah did he have 143 yards and two touchdowns and looked absolutely explosive and unguardable why not just fucking say it and then next week sam laporta has a great game okay kelsey's gonna have a vintage game on monday no he's not no he's not you think you think taylor swift's gonna be at the game tomorrow yep right she'd probably say hi to you yeah she'd definitely be at the game monday football get an invite to the box you gotta go into her box if invited if she's like coming to my box yep i'll say okay Done.
2:08:45Yes, ma 'am. No problem. But no, I plan on just sitting in my seats. Listen, we just got to remember that not every NFL Sunday is going to be like this one. Because it wasn't great. We got to also admit it. We can't pretend. An NFL Sunday. Sorry. I just saw a meme's face when I said that. Because it does coincide with the Jets playing the most exciting game and winning their first game. Yeah. But would you say it's a fair statement memes that on a whole, this wasn't NFL Sunday to remember? Correct. I'll remember it. Yes. Yes. Fair. Fair. But the Jets are also the most entertaining team in the NFL.
2:09:24I like that. I like that. Yep. Talk about them every week. Okay. Yep. Okay. Yep. Good. Mainly bad. I wasn't going to say good or bad, but mainly bad. But we still talk about them. We're obsessed with them. Yeah. Very entertaining. Yeah, I like it, memes. And it's almost more special that you won in a week that was down for it because it was like, this is your week. The Jets are the – that's by far the story of the week. Yeah. Yeah, week eight versus the Bengals. Happened three, four years ago. Was this Justin Fields' Mike White game? Yeah. This was? Because I know it's important. That's a distinction and an honor that you withhold for very, very special circumstances to declare somebody as having their Mike White game.
2:10:10Memes, I'll say thank you. So was it his Mike White game? No, Mike White got put in the Hall of Fame for that. Yeah, true. Do you think? Brees Hall's Mike White game. Okay. Wait, I thought it was – it's not just for quarterbacks. No. Anyone can have a Mike White game. You just got to be touched by God that day. That was – Memes, I will say thank you because we were talking about it with eight minutes left. You guys were down 14 points, and it looked like it was going to be, hey, if the Jets don't get this first down, it's going to be Bengals win by 14. You were the only game that was not decided by double digits.
2:10:50Isn't that crazy? That is crazy. Every single game, I'll read you the winning margin. Dolphins won by 24. Patriots won by 19. Eagles won by 18. Bills won by 31. Ravens won by 14. Texans won by 11. Bucks won by 20. Broncos won by 20. Colts won by, I'm doing really good math here, 24. Packers won by 10. And then the Jets won their game by one point. That's pretty nuts. Yeah. You're welcome, America. That's some pretty shitty games, but the Jets saved Sunday. Yeah, the second half of the Sunday night game, I was like, this has been one of the better games. It was still a 10-point loss. It was actually the closest game.
2:11:37And it was only because I hadn't seen anything that was close before that. It was, if you're just going by winning margin, it was the second closest game that we watched. Yeah. Sunday Night Football. You know what that tells me. Yeah, we're going to have a great Monday Night Football game. We're going to have a, yeah, it's going to be legendary. Mark Mariota might have his Jaden Daniels game. He could. He absolutely could. Should we talk a little baseball before we do Who's Back of the Week? Yeah. that Friday night in Toronto was incredible that Grand Slam was incredible I thought for a second the Blue Jays were a team of destiny and then Yamamoto on Saturday was equally as incredible with a complete game second complete game in a row I complete games there's something about a man they've they've been completely phased out of the out of the sport so when a guy does it something gets a little tingly for me it's nice because in between innings they go to the dugout and you see the guy that's pitching they zoom in real close on him yep he's like sweaty and tired and he's like i'm gonna go back out there and you're like what a what a fucking warrior this guy is yeah what a what a monster thank you for your service sir and then uh and then getting him to watch him go out there and continue to be dominant that was a lot of fun now uh i think he probably got a little bit of a burst of energy from the jonas brothers concert definitely because that was awesome i think america really enjoyed that during an actual literal world series game that was very cool we also had just it was it was the dodgers right when you thought oh man the blue jays this could be special team of destiny they they hit so like the way they jumped on the dodgers on friday night was insane yeah it was cool and you're like this offense can go with the dodgers and they still can the series is only 1-1 but the way the dodgers did that on saturday night just shut him down and did their oh yeah we don't even need our best dudes to do it yeah we'll just have you know max muncie uh hit a home run and i mean he's he's very very good but he's not shohei and you know it that's just what the dodgers do and just shut him up i think if you ask jays fans would you take a one one split in the first two i think most of them would have said yes yeah absolutely like this is this is a good thing for the jays all things considered but now Now it's nut-cutting time.
2:13:52Now we get Scherzer on the bump on Monday. All right, you're going to have to give Scherzer like one to one and two-thirds innings to settle in. And you're also going to have to give him at least one inning more than you thought you were going to because he's going to yell at you when you try to come get him out of the game. Right, so the game plan is you're going to want to say maybe we should pull him in the first or maybe in the second, but you can't do it then because then the third, fourth, and fifth inning, he's going to be really good. So in the fifth inning, you need to schedule a mound visit, act like you're going to take him out, let him yell at you, then go back to the dugout, let him finish out that inning, and then two more outs into the sixth.
2:14:35Then you can pull him out. Yes. That's the game plan for Max Scherzer, and he's an awesome pitcher if you stick to that game plan. Friday night I was listening to the OK Blue Jays song. It's ridiculous. us okay blue jays let's play ball hey what do you say we got a bat we got a ball it's crazy i caught blue i caught uh toronto jays fever for a second max even tweeted that he was wrong about the blue jays yeah no i take that back well friday you were friday you were wrong about the jays yeah well you said you said sweep i did well i said sweep because everyone was saying dollars or Dodgers and five.
2:15:14I said Dodgers and four, so technically I was wrong. But it's still going to be Dodgers and five. Wait, what was your final pick? Dodgers and four. Oh, yeah. So you're wrong. Yeah, he's already wrong. Yeah, you're wrong. Yeah, I was wrong. Yeah. But Dodgers and four. Stop. It's triggering. Also, shout out to Hank for battling back on that back nine. Yeah. Good job. You owe me money, though. I do. And credit to Hank also because he knew that he battled back on the back nine and then just sat here and took the abuse on Thursday when we talked about the round that was already out. Yeah, how much money do you owe me?
2:15:49I owe you$500. I owe PFT like$10 ,000. Why don't you and PFT play for my$500? I'm going to just pay PFT and then we can start again. No, no, no. Yes, no, I'm done with this. I'm done with this. I'm done with this. Hey, hear me out. I don't want to take$10 ,000. Have you dunked on a nine-foot hoop? No. I don't want to take$10 ,000 from you. I don't care. What if you just, like, let's do some more Sarlets. Yeah. No, I'm done. I would like, can I get one Sarlet? One Sarlet for everything. Hank, okay, one Sarlet for everything. It has to be. No, I'm not doing 10 grand Sarlet. No, no, no, no. Can I get a$500 Sarlet?
2:16:24Yeah. Listen, listen. Here's what I propose. If you cook up a Sarlet, it has to be, wait, it has to be five to one. Okay. All I'm asking for is five to one. I'm going to put$2 ,000 on it. I will put the$2 ,000 on it. No, no, no, no. I'll put$2 ,000 on it. No. If it hits, debt is wiped clean. No. Wipe clean, Hank. I'm just going to pay you and you can do whatever Sarlay is you want. I don't want$10 ,000 from you. Everyone's like, oh, you guys make these bets and never even pay. And I want to pay you. You've tried so hard to pay. I want a Sarlay. I get one Sarlay. You get a Sarlay. Give me a plus 500 Sarlay.
2:16:59All right. And let me bet on it. Because in the past, you've been betting on it. And then you plan on it. Let's do it a different way. Okay. You only owe me$500. I just want one Sarlay. I don't give a fuck if it was one Sarlay. What if it doesn't hit? If it doesn't hit, then you owe me$12 ,000. Plus interest. And then we'll do another Sarlay. No. And on this one, I'll put more money on it. No, I actually don't want a Sarlay, Hank. I just want one week. You can just tell me before on Sunday. I'm going to send PFT the money. He's not going to accept it. And then we'll just revisit this probably.
2:17:35No, Hank. I want just one week before kickoff, just be like, you got$500 on this hungry dog. Okay. So I'm just riding with you. All right. But the Bears can't be against the Bears. That's fair. And can it be for tomorrow night? Yeah, I don't know. I don't know if tomorrow night is going to be my best thinking day. No, but sometimes your best thinking days are when you're not thinking at all, when you're just in the zone. True. I will. I can. Yeah. I just. Give me something to put on this game. Okay. I mean, I'm going to have a lot emotionally already riding on it, but, yeah, give me something five to one, and then deck clean if it hits.
2:18:17All right. And you have to dunk. No. Okay. But you do on a nine-foot hoop. I'll try. You could do a nine-foot hoop. Maybe. Okay, let's finish up with who's back of the week. It is brought to you by our friends at Twisted Tea. It's hollow weekend. You're juggling three parties, a questionable costume, in six football games at once, and there's only one thing that can hold it all together, Twisted Tea. That's right, real brewed iced tea, 5 % alcohol, no carbonation. It's the drink that says, yeah, I can wear a costume and still win my bets. Whether you're tailgating dressed as a zombie or at a house party checking your team lineups between game rounds, Twisted Tea is the one thing that always comes in clutch.
2:18:56Your costume might be questionable, but your drink shouldn't be. So whether it's kickoff or costume time, bring twisted tea and keep it twisted all hollow weekend long with twisted tea we love twisted tea it's the perfect drink this weekend go check it out twisted tea get the original get the get the half lemonade get the peach do it all i was having a twisted tea on friday night it was great all right hank your who's back of the week um who's back of the week is new jobs oh i'm sure we'll talk about it more wednesday but but brian kelly gone during this show gone gone from lsu See you, Brian.
2:19:32See you, buddy. So, yeah, Brian Kelly, after screaming at every single person on the LSU sideline on Saturday night and getting utterly embarrassed versus Texas A &M, who's very, very good, gets fired. $54 million buyout. The craziest part about Brian Kelly's buyout is the guy, the AD at LSU, Scott Woodward, he is now he was the ad at a &m hired jimbo jimbo got fired 77 million dollar buyout went to lsu hired brian kelly brian kelly got fired 54 million dollar buyout that's 131 million dollars of buyouts that he negotiated yeah for both those schools how does he have a job uh this is it's weird because you would think that at some point the major universities would get together include and be like hey let's let's stop writing in buyout language to all the head coaches contracts can we all agree on that you would think that most of them would agree but the difference is if you are one of the schools that has an opening right now and you need to hire a good coach yep you would not agree to that well and it's also always so fucked up with these with these contracts and college coaches is you you sign a contract if you're a college coach and if you have a 10 win season two years into your time there they just give you way more money and then up the buyout yeah it's just it's it's monopoly money and so now we have lsu florida penn state ucla arkansas virginia tech oklahoma state stanford as of right now i think i'm virginia tech yeah and i said virginia tech i think i might be franklin and virginia tech i might be I missed one.
2:21:19Words on the street are saying? That's what the buzz, yeah. There's a lot of buzz about that. The buzz at Tots? Yep. James Franklin? Virginia Tech. He's a great recruiter in Virginia. I had a thought, and it's just an intrusive thought that hit me, and I whispered it to Max on the couch about like two hours ago. Have you thought about a world where Brian Kelly is the coach of the Wisconsin Badgers? I'd be fine with it. he'd make us better than what we are right now. He gets good results. I'm probably not invited to the sideline as of right now anyway, so what does it matter if Brian Kelly's the coach?
2:21:57I'll still not be invited to the sideline. I don't care. True. I just want to win football. We scored our first touchdown in 12 quarters on Saturday night against the Ducks in Oregon, and I was legitimately pumped. Holy shit. We just covered. Easily covered. Easily covered. Not just covered. Blew him out. You say easily covered. You blew Vegas out. Not even close. But yeah, Brian Kelly, I've said some shit. I'm going to keep saying shit. If you want to coach the Badgers and try to get us back to, you know, 8, 9, 10 win land, I'm in. It is. I'm in. I'm so sick of watching my team suck every Saturday that I will have the guy that I probably hate most of any coach coach my alma mater.
2:22:45It is interesting just how Brian Kelly never really got along with anyone at LSU. No one really liked him. He didn't really have any fun at all coaching the LSU Tigers. Yeah, someone put it perfectly. They had a video of Brian Kelly leaving after he got fired. I guess he went into the facility for a couple minutes. They fired him. He left. And he was seen driving in an Audi station wagon. And they're like, this right here is exactly why he never was going to fit in at LSU. Yeah. They literally had a reporter that was hiding in bushes to get the footage of him leaving the facility and driving away.
2:23:21In his Audi station wagon. I was hoping it was going to be a Rory McIlroy situation where he was going to speed off. No, it was just like a calm back out and drive away. I got the scoop. 54 mil. I wonder if he's going to coach again. Why would he coach again? Is that on his birthday? No, the game was on his birthday. The game was on his birthday. Good birthday present, though, to get$54 million. How pumped. In terms of changes in a workplace, Brian Kelly, if he's your boss getting fired, has got to be top, top, top of the line. The best. Like, those guys had to have. He was screaming at everyone.
2:23:56The best. He was the quintessential if I'm going down, I'm blaming everyone but me type of guy. And also going from, like, LSU's had some coaches that, like I don't think that they would have loved had they not won yeah um but Brian Kelly you can't you can't lose and also be a dickhead the it also made me uh reminded me of Brian Kelly when he left Notre Dame to go to LSU our guy white boy Rick tweeted this out but there was a story in the Colombian from a local newspaper in Washington the state of Washington about Brian Kelly finding out that he was going to be the coach to LSU while he was at a recruits house and taking the phone call and then the story reads he came back in, sat down and acted like it was nothing Merriweather said at the phone call he was as cool as a cucumber about those burnt ends though Kelly had three servings Merriweather said that's why the Merriweathers were shocked just minutes after Kelly and his assistant coaches left the house at 5pm to see reports of Kelly heading to LSU screenshots from social media were immediately sent by Tobias Merriweather to Notre Dame assistant coaches for clarification.
2:25:06They just left in a luxury SUV. Brian Kelly took the job at LSU at a recruits house, then continued to eat three servings of the mom's burnt ends and then didn't say a word and left. Okay, to be fair, though, brisket's delicious. Yeah, that's a behavior that I cannot condemn that. I might have done the same thing if I were in his shoes. I'm not a huge fan of Brian Kelly, but yeah, if he wants to coach Wisconsin, I'm down. Yeah, I mean, he's – I wonder if Penn State's going to give him a call. I wonder if that's – No. I think they're going to have a discussion about Brian Kelly. No, no, no. They're going to discuss it.
2:25:40I don't think so. Oh, yeah, they're going to have it. He's got two – I mean, he just went to a place that was – the whole thing with Brian Kelly was he's an incredible coach, but he's blocked by the restrictions of Notre Dame. Wait till you see – he was basically like the ESPN guy who leaves ESPN, like, hey, now I'm going to swear on my podcast. he's gonna get to coach the SEC get LSU talent and he's gonna win a national championship didn't come close I'm not saying that he would be a good coach for Penn State but I'm saying that Penn State is definitely gonna talk about it yeah I think that's the conversation hey Brian Kelly no Brian Kelly maybe make him say no alright good who's back Hank who do you got going to LSU Coach O Lane Kiffin's gonna get so much money because everyone wants him.
2:26:30I don't think he's going to go anywhere. No, no, no. I'm not saying he is. He's just going to get so much money. What's crazy is he's going to have his pick of jobs that if you had told Lane Kiffin about 10 years ago, he would have signed up for immediately. But I think he likes Ole Miss. He could definitely stay. But he's going to make so much money even staying. Dable? Dable. I got a different name. Yeah? Joe Brady. Sometimes you got to go back to move forward. One of Natty there. yeah although if i wasn't if i worked in the nfl as a coach i don't think i would ever leave the nfl for college football right now no absolutely not they don't have bios dude the guys are doing the guys are doing it to be like yeah look at jeff halfley in green bay yeah that's why like badger fans want jim leonard because it was the one that got away kind of thing when it was fickle and Jim Letter got fired.
2:27:25He's now in Denver. Why would you ever want to go chase, get a million bucks and be a coordinator? Hank's right, though, the buyout. If they give you a huge buyout, then it's like, yeah, that makes sense, but you're going to be miserable. Yeah. Come here and be miserable until you get fired. Then you'll be happy. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, because those are miserable jobs. Yeah. I would be shocked if... I think there's more coming. I think I'll give you a name that I could see opening I could see happening, depending on how this weekend, even this weekend goes. USC. I think Stinkin' Riley might be out.
2:28:08Interesting. I think there's guys that might leave the places they want to be, even though they're not doing bad. I think it's going to be basically full on musical chairs. Well, right now it's like, does Kaelin DeBoer love Alabama? I was making that point a couple weeks ago And Big T told me I was certifiably insane I don't think you're insane at all But I feel like Kalen DeBoer He lost a game this year And then he had grandmothers on the local news Talk about how they were trying to win the lottery So they could pay him to not be in their town anymore If you're a guy like Kalen DeBoer And you go to the playoff this year And lose in let's say the semifinal That's not enough for Alabama But you know what it is?
2:28:47it's enough for a USC or somewhere not in the SEC to give you a shitload of money and treat you well. Because like Penn State, they had James Franklin for a very long time. You can say there definitely is a difference when you're at an Alabama or an LSU where the temperature gets hot very quickly. It gets very hot. Yeah, I feel like LSU. Florida State might be open. LSU, best job now, best job available. This is like a dream when we did – yeah, LSU probably. Yeah, because LSU will always have the benefit of all their homegrown talent wants to go to LSU. This is a dream scenario memes when you're playing NCAA video game.
2:29:32You're like, what are the openings this year? Some years there's none. Some years it's like, holy shit. All these places are offering me? Spot on. And Florida State is not going to be open. Officially? They said they met with the boosters, and it's like over$100 million. We can't do this. They're just keeping them. What about Dabo? Dabo, I don't think they'll force him out. I don't think they'll give him another year. I got to name it. Because they kind of put it back together a little bit. They're not a playoff team, but Dabo at least is going to probably win seven or eight games, I would say.
2:30:14clemson's three and four right now uh maybe not actually duke actually they might not i take that back they're probably gonna maybe lose to duke maybe lose to louisville at louisville now if this is happening if these openings happened a year ago there's a name that would absolutely 100 be at the top of all the lists it would be like talked about non-stop on espn now maybe not Not so much, but Deion's still out there. Oh, yeah. Well, that was – I don't know if you guys stayed up and watched that game on Saturday night. Oof. That was bad. That was like turn on the game. Utah has 400 yards of offense and Colorado's at minus 10.
2:30:57Yeah, it was tough. It was bad. It was a tough game, but I still feel like he – Yeah. I mean, Florida State – You know what? He's one to monitor. One to monitor. We'll talk more on Wednesday, though. Maybe we'll get one of our college football guys on to break it down because there are enough now where we could just talk about these openings. Let's talk jobs. Maybe Brandon. Maybe Brandon. Although I think he said something along the lines of it's a slam dunk hire for Brian Kelly at LSU. He's going to win a national championship. But that's also – hey, look. I thought a slam dunk hire for Luke Fickle in Wisconsin.
2:31:28Lower stakes, but slam dunk for me was eight wins. Brandon is a slam dunk champion. Yeah. Okay. PFT, your who's back of the week. My who's back of the week is rugby. Rugby's back. This weekend, we got the All Blacks and Ireland's national rugby team playing at Soldier Field. Still, it's going to be awesome. It's going to be a great game. Weird that they're playing a full rugby game. Like two of the best teams in the world. An 80-minute long game at Soldier Field where the Bears have to play for the rest of the year. Uh-huh. Really strange. We don't have a home game until the following week, but yes.
2:32:02Yeah. It's a strange choice. but this game is going to be awesome. So New Zealand's number two in the world, and Ireland is number three, and they like flip-flop back and forth. It's going to be awesome. I went to the one that they had here like 10 years ago. It was one of the coolest days ever. Got to see the Haka, all that stuff. It's going to be an amazing time, and we got some of the All Blacks coming into the office this week, which I'm very excited about. So, yeah, listen, if you haven't watched rugby and you find yourself on a Saturday, maybe the college slate isn't hitting, watch the All Blacks against Ireland.
2:32:31It's going to be an awesome game. yeah i'm very excited what time is the game uh i want to say it's at what like three perfect three on saturday get through youtube tv you got a million fucking ways to watch games now yeah it's good it's gonna kick ass yeah okay my who's back of the week is just the nba in general we didn't really we'll do our nba preview in a month or two but just the first like two nights were insane. Steph still doing it. It's crazy. Wemby. That's pretty much our NBA preview. Every time I see a new Wemby highlight, it's him making three blocks and then stepping over three people as he sprints down the court, hitting his step back three.
2:33:14It's crazy. Did you see Jalen Brown's comments about gambling? That was weird. Did you see his hair? Yeah, but the comments were weird. I don't know. I think it's tough for the players they don't really and as they should to say there's no benefit to the players but that's a complicated thing and i people were were i feel like i might might not have explained myself well on friday's show that i i 100 think terry rozier if found guilty of any of this should never play again and players should not be betting on anything i'm not excusing anything he does but to be like there's no benefit people watch the games and the like the the tv rights go up all these things work together it's not black and white none of these none of this shit is black and white no but like from jaylen brown's perspective as a player it's like he you know worked his whole life to be an nba player of course whether or not he was getting paid you know 10 million or 50 million yeah he would still be doing it obviously i think that's where people go how how dare you but it's like oh i don't think he just wants to be a nba player so he's I don't get...
2:34:22Yeah. I just feel like he doesn't... But why should he? Who cares? No, I'm not offended by it. It was more like, do you not see the connection that the people gambling on games does drive viewership, does drive money for the TV rights that does equal the cap? I understand it. I'm not surprised that he didn't, I guess. I think that on a day-to-day basis, if you're in the NBA, the interaction that you have with gambling is mostly people that are just DMing you the angriest, most hateful shit ever on social media. And then that's how you think of gambling. For sure. It's like, I don't give a fuck about people who are gambling on sports.
2:35:04That stuff is definitely true. And it's too far, people DMing. But being like, it just got introduced a few years ago. No, it didn't. Yeah, gambling's been around for a while. Yeah, for a very long time. I think having the... But it was never like they didn't have the sponsorship. Yeah. Sponsors. But that's money in his. That's the cap going up. Right. Yeah. That's where it does help. The other Jalen Brown news. The hair thing was pretty funny. It was hilarious. It was very funny. What was the hair thing? He's making headlines. Like literally on people's uniforms. Oh, he had like the Carlos. Oh, he got a little paint job.
2:35:38And then he was a quickly. Yeah. He was OG. OG Ananobi. but he wiped his head off on his jersey, and you can just see the black streak. That's so funny. Like a girl at a wedding. Yeah. You give a girl a hug, and it gets shit all over your suit. Oh, the makeup, yeah. Yeah. All of Max's analogies are going to be wedding-related. Yeah. It's facts. And it was his birthday cut. He was trying to get fresh, so he gave the enhancements for the birthday. And then tonight, there was another screenshot of somebody that had, would appear to be, I don't know, some sort of rub-off head. Yeah. Max, you're all the way back in on the Sixers, right?
2:36:15Yeah, Vijay Edgecombe. Absolute beast. There you go. Bulls are 2-0. That's how you rebuild right there. Wimby has looked incredible. Future face this league? Yep. Best NBA debut since Will Chamberlain. Wow. That's a crazy stat. That is a crazy stat. Yeah, wild stat. It's a wild stat. Most points. Most points. Most points in his NBA debut since Will Chamberlain. How many points did he have? 34. Wow. That's a lot of stats In a win over the Celtics Just Stating facts That's just a fact Yeah NBA doesn't start Until after Christmas Celtics Celtics Yeah Tables have turned Patriots Drake May Zach finishes off My who's back of the week This week is going to be Austin Reeves Because he just put A 50 piece up For his career high Great performance By Austin Reeves I should have came With a couple more Who's backs I initially was going to talk to him, Brown hairline.
2:37:13Oh, shit. He stole that from you. But a 50-piece is still super strong from Austin Reeves. Shout out to him. Zach, if you need to take tomorrow off to get the throat rested up, you can. Thank you. Oh. Zach. Yes, sir. You don't have to, but if you feel like you need to. Appreciate that. We have throat days built in here. Yeah. You take a throat day. Quick throat day. Yeah. That was good timing. Yeah, you're going to get a throat day, buddy. Get ready to learn not talking. He's just saying pause to a muted mic. Pause. Okay, good show, boys. You're really going to get a throat day, dude. Yeah. Get ready to learn throat, buddy.
2:38:02Numbers. 74. Whoa, there we go. Main goal. Love it. Love it. Three. Oh, that's so distasteful, Hank. 77. It's all right. The Celtics are on three. Oh, man. This would be a bad day to get three. If I took 74, that would be distasteful. That would, but I feel like we could have just vacated three today. But no, now it will. No, it's all right. I hope you get it. You have a future quarterback. You get a lot of ball number three, too. Fuck you. Now I'm hurting for you to get it. You could have taken it.
2:38:38What's your guy's number? Memes, that guy told you to guess 69. I had so many people ask me. People tell me. No, the mistake was because I was angry and I just took 100. 13 is the number that came up that got Matthew Schaefer. Ah. A lot of people have been telling me to take 13. All right, so I'll take 13. That came up on Friday. I'm going to take eight. I had so many people come up to me and tell me numbers. I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I got you. All right, what else?
2:39:17Zach? I'll take seven. Okay. Phil Brown. 99, Pug. 44. This feels like a Pug day. 44 and what was the other one? 86. And 44 for Jack. I'm rooting for 74. What a day this would be for me, I'm sorry.
2:39:4797. 97. Do you want to do one more? Yeah, we do one more. The Jets won today. Everyone keep their number. Yeah, same number, same number. Same number. Jets did one. Never going to lose again.
2:40:02May never lose again. We have at least two weeks to find that out.
2:40:1551 51 51 51 Love you guys
2:40:43Thank you.
2:41:12Thank you.
2:41:48Thank you.
