In short
The hosts criticize the U.S. campaign against Iran as repetitive, escalating, and strategically incoherent, arguing it’s driven by political theater and incompetence rather than achievable victory. They also discuss the renewed public debate over COVID policy, Fauci, and a Bobby Kennedy Jr. interview, claiming COVID-era censorship and government–pharma ties led to harmful outcomes.
Guests
No guests appear in the transcript. The episode references public figures (Dana Bash, Bobby Kennedy Jr., Fauci) and mentions interviews/clips, but does not include a guest interview segment.
Key claims
- Trump’s Iran threats (“mass acts of terror,” “biggest since World War II”) are portrayed as failed pressure tactics followed by “negotiations” after no escalation.
- The Pentagon is depicted as lacking real options, even emailing troops for “creative ideas.”
- COVID dissent was censored; the hosts argue this enabled “common-sense” policy failures and that Fauci should face criminal accountability.
- They claim Trump’s praise of presidential pardons implies he may pardon himself.
Notable examples
- CNN publishes an email requesting “new, creative, and unconventional ways to pressure and punish Iran.”
- NYC.gov COVID data by age is cited (near-zero deaths for younger groups) to argue young, healthy people didn’t need mRNA vaccines.

1:41We got Jeez, what is our next thing Rob? I think it's Appleton, Wisconsin Appleton, Wisconsin Great great room. We had a great time there August 13 through 15 skyline comedy club Rob, me and Rob will be out there. Then I got the Comedy Mothership, we got Louisville, Fort Worth, Dallas, a lot of stuff coming up, comicdabesmith.com for all those ticket links. All right. By the way, I know it seems as if I'm broadcasting from a place, absent of time and space or something. Where I am, the Iran war hasn't started yet, and also it's always been going on. This is, I'm in John Rawls' veil of ignorance right now, just deciding.
2:26Anyway, so I don't know, there's a few things that I really wanted to talk about today. Once again, Rob, we're in this cycle where I guess the first thing we have to talk about is the war. I don't know what to say, man, this is unlike anything else I've ever covered. It's just unlike anything else. It's almost like we have to keep talking about it because it's the most important thing. And honestly, the worst case scenarios of global economic depression or nuclear exchange or World War III, however remote all three of those might be, I certainly don't think the latter two are likely or anywhere close to likely.
3:10I think the economic depression, the global economy is the scariest, most realistic, I should say, not scariest. Scariest because it's most likely. But when all of that is on the line, you have to talk about it all the time. But my God, at the end of this, all you can say is that everybody who's a skeptic of this has been completely proven right. Everybody who supported the 12-day war and the whole goddamn hawkishness toward Iran for the whole last year plus have just been absolutely proven to be the goddamn biggest morons on the face of the planet. it. And we're in the same cycle for the goddamn 15th time.
3:47I don't know how you're actually watching at this point. I feel like even the people who supported this war are rolling their eyes at how you're seriously telling me, am I seriously here to bring you the news that yesterday, Donald Trump threatened mass acts of terror against the Iranian people? And then Rob, you wouldn't believe it. He taco'd. And now he's promising that there are negotiations. Rob, statement from the foreign minister of Iran today, we're not negotiating. But Donald Trump says we're very close to a deal. What can you even say about this, Rob? What are we doing? I think the point at this point is just to push us to the verge of insanity.
4:29And then at least the critics of the war are taken out. Yep. I think it's maybe the sixth or seventh time Donald Trump has played this exact scheme where he says, hey, we're going for it. We're taking out their power plants and then goes, nope, it deals on the table so I don't have to do it. The one thing that's on the table that's a little bit different this time is Saudi Arabia apparently called him up and said, you can't do this. Apparently, we're bailing out Japan because they were about to sell a bunch of treasuries to try and boost their own currency. and I heard it on, I only watched a little bit of it, but there was a bit of a conspiracy brewing on Mario Nowa Falls Show, who's a great Twitter follow for the war that essentially - Yeah, he's great, man.
5:16He interviewed me about the war, I don't know, a couple months ago. I think he had, I may have even gotten a request to go back on there. I like him a lot. He does a good show and he's a really good Twitter follow. But I guess there was some speculation that Saudi Arabia threatened to dump treasuries as well. which is what might have been what pushed back Trump this time. But anyways, a little bit in the same circle. The Saudi angle on all this stuff is kind of interesting. And I think, you know, this would be a better topic for, like, Scott to break down than me, as are most of these things when it comes to the details of him.
5:54But there's been, as you know, Rob, right, like just in this war, There's been a lot of kind of contradictory reporting about where Saudi Arabia was on the war. I saw reporting that was like they were really pushing for it at the beginning. And then I saw reporting that they were against it the whole time. And so, you know, it's hard to tell what's exactly true here. Like, there's no question that Saudi Arabia, they're regional rivals with Iran. And so they very much want Iran to be, you know, diminished. obviously like a big Sunni Gulf state and the big Shiite state are not friends with each other.
6:31And so obviously, like they like the idea of this country, you know, like you could anyway, you could understand where they might be kind of for the war, but you could also understand where there could have some concerns about it. I just think it's kind of interesting that, okay, I know for a fact, right, I've, I've heard a whole bunch of like, the highest level Saudi government officials really complaining about the war in Iraq. They were very upset that the US overthrew Saddam Hussein because that was a balance against Iran. And they were like, hey, it used to be like all of us against Iran, and now you've given Baghdad to the Shiites, who are very closely aligned with Iran.
7:11So they weren't happy about that. But then I've also heard other people make the claim that they were on board with the war in Iraq at the beginning. Anyway, during this war, I heard all of the Zionists make the claim that, look, if anything, it's Saudi who's dragging us into this war. If you're looking for another country, then it's probably Saudi Arabia who's dragging us into this. And what's interesting is that both now, if you remember with Project Freedom, and now in this latest round, it's been openly reported by everyone involved, with no one seeming to really take issue with that, that Saudi has been shutting this shit down.
7:48And so they just, I don't know, that throws a little bit of a wrench into the narrative that, like, they are the ones who have really been pushing this war, because it seems like, at least at certain opportunities, they actually have stopped the thing from escalating. Well, I think the Saudis have an oil business to run, and they don't want all their oil fields getting blown up, and this is not great for their oil business. And they're also discovering the Americans are not a great security partner, and they're kind of just making a bigger mess over here. So I think Saudi's a little bit more at risk, despite Donald Trump's claims that Iran was close to getting nuclear warheads that could take out all of Europe and the United States of America.
8:28I don't actually think sitting over here were at risk. Israel seems to be unconcerned with escalating conflicts as they just are, I guess, seemingly rooting for chaos at all time and feel that they're invincible. But Saudi Arabia and the other oil partners are definitely sitting there like guys we need to move on i got oil to sell yeah no i think i think that's right and um i uh the other aspect of this that um is interesting just over the last few days is that it does seem to be um confirmed now uh by several different sources that this this running out of interceptor business is no joke that we really are like bleeding our reserve it is it's just i i don't know man i mean there's so many things about this that all of this that are just so appalling but rob the fact that we've been ripped off to the tune of like 20 trillion dollars in the last 30 years on militarism and this is what we could afford for all of it was literally rob five months with a with a third which with with a a a strong third world country that's what we could get for$20 trillion.
9:41Really, it's like, I mean, the amount of devastation that that has done to the economy and for real jobs and real increases in the standard of living, you know, you extract$20 trillion from the economy. And instead of having that, instead of having those resources going to producing things that human beings desire to improve their quality of life, You steal the money, spend it on bombs that blow up and kill people, blow up a bridge and kill a bunch of people, so then you have to rebuild the bridge. Literally, nothing of economic production has been done with any of that, nothing that makes anyone's lives better.
10:21And talk about when they say, oh, but it creates American jobs, talk about the most commie shit you've ever heard in your life. Oh, well, then good. Why doesn't that, why doesn't just, why don't we just have the government employ 100 % of the population into making bombs? and then we can all think about how rich we are as we starve to death and die of infections. Yeah, it's also remarkable that, you know, Trump's, I rebuilt the military in the first term, which means he spent more on it. To me, rebuilding it might be getting the Pentagon to actually pass an audit and figure out why it is that we're spending so much money on equipment that's outdated and can't actually, not that I'd like to see more military adventurism or the government incentivized because they feel like they can win these things.
11:04But you'd like to think that they got their shit together enough that if they're picking these fights, they got the supplies for it and they got a strategy for winning and they just don't. But rebuilding the military just means, hey, we need supplementary spending now to just a little bit more money on the thing you didn't want. We just need to spend more money on these tools that are outdated and don't work. All right, guys, let's take a moment and thank our sponsor for today's show, which is My Patriot Supply, a great company who I love, and they're the ones who I trust for my family's preparedness.
11:35Food security should never depend on perfect weather, flawless supply chains, or fully stocked grocery shelves. Extreme weather and drought can hit crops. Transportation and supply chain disruptions can slow deliveries. Livestock disease can put added pressure on the system. You can't control every threat out there, but what you can do is work with My Patriot Supply. That's why they're doing something they've never done before, offering their best-selling four-week emergency food kits, buy one, get one 50 % off. These kits deliver 2 ,000 calories per day with long-lasting shelf-stable meals. They're easy to store and simple to prepare.
12:11This is the stuff I keep in my home. So if you want to keep the same stuff I do, go to preparelikedave.com. That's preparelikedave.com and know that you and your family are protected in the event of an emergency. All right, let's get back into the show. Did you see the request? CNN published this. Oh, hilarious, yeah. The request from a senior officer at the U.S. military command carrying out President Trump's war. The email reads, we need ideas. We are looking for new, creative, and unconventional ways to pressure and punish Iran. So that's where we're at. Hey, you guys got anything? You know, what do you guys think?
12:54Yeah, man, this is just, whew. I guess at the very beginning of this war, you know, the first kind of thing, I think the first episode we did after Donald Trump launched the war, really, what we just said is, look, he's destroyed his presidency, he's destroyed the coalition, and this is it. This is the end of his legacy, nothing good's going to come. And that he's just, it's essentially, we're in a game, Rob. This is what we've been saying consistently the whole time. She goes, the best thing you could do is just stop. And that still sucks. But it's still the best thing you can do. And every time you continue this, it's literally just like, oh my God, my foot's in quicksand.
13:32I'll get it out with my hand. Okay, I better get it out with my other way. It's an old Homer Simpson thing, I think, right? Excuse me. He goes, the Homer Simpson thing was, he goes, oh, my foot's stuck. I'll get it out with my other foot. Okay, I'll get it out with my hand. I'll get it out with my other hand. He goes, and now to get all of them out with my head. But it's like that, right? But we said at the very beginning that this is, man, Donald Trump's just going to bleed and bleed and bleed until he finally gets out of this thing. And when he finally gets out of this thing, he's going to bleed even more popularity because even some percentage of the people there are going to see that, oh, this is what we got for it.
14:12Well, Rob, Rob, we're approaching six months. You know, the people who were saying, who swore it wouldn't go beyond six weeks, we're now approaching six months of this. And who can defend it? You know, the last time, the last time we came to an agreement was the memorandum of understanding, right, Rob? And every single hawk thought that was terrible. There's not a single person who, you know, I speak in hyperbole, almost nobody who supported this thing supported the MOU. We'll be lucky if we could get that again. And that wasn't good enough for them. When they got that, they go, oh, no, this isn't a good enough.
14:51So, OK, you're getting nothing here. I don't know. I've never. I don't think I've ever seen any one of these wars ever in all the wars I've seen that were more indefensible five months in. Yeah. Well, Dave, we haven't bombed pickaxe, mounted or taken Karg Island yet. So, you know, there's still ways to escalate this and pretend that it won't be a bigger mess. Well, also, I mean, look, again, this is, it's just so ridiculous. But like, we just ran one more experiment here, Rob, right? What Donald Trump said, okay, look, I think, I don't know. I, you know, I'm sure he was specific in these threats too.
15:30But he, you know, because back in on the Easter threat, when he had said every power plant and every bridge, wipe out your civilization never to be returned again. If you saw this, Rob, which I'm sure you did, the phraseology he used this time was, it was going to be the biggest attack since World War II. Now, look, this is a crazy thing for a president to say. I mean, just to think, look, when you go, obviously, late, when you invoke World War II, I mean, you're talking about attacks that in total killed millions and millions and millions, tens of millions of civilians. Individual attacks that targeted civilians and killed hundreds of thousands of them, whether it's, you know, whatever you're talking about, whether you're talking about, you know, Berlin or whatever, Tokyo or obviously, ultimately Hiroshima and Nagasaki, where there's nuclear strikes.
16:25It's like, okay, what do you, but if you're saying it's the biggest since World War II, then, I mean, you got a Vietnam and a Korea in there. Now, don't get me wrong, Rob. I know what Donald Trump says means absolutely nothing. And every supporter and critic knows that. But just to be clear here, we did as if Easter wasn't enough proof. We did one more round of the president being crazy, threatening to be a terrorist. And now, once again, just like with Easter, Donald Trump is claiming that this worked and now they want to negotiate. So, OK, I mean, and then when none of that turns out to be true, how many of you are just going to just pretend that didn't happen and move the goalposts?
17:09And then to speak to them just floundering around last week, they were, I guess, flirting with the idea of now doing a land blockade of Iran, which is apparently totally not feasible and there's enough smuggling routes and it's too much terrain to cover but it does seem like with both pickaxe mountain and with the uh land blockade the writers are basically just sitting around and looking for a storyline to try and sell anybody on some sort of a purpose or pathway to victory and they just cannot come up with the coherent storyline yeah and i gotta say like you know as of right now um you know because if you remember and i even remember exactly me it was exactly like we really had a harsh disagreement but there were like several weeks back where i was like i think he's over it and he's finding an excuse and you were like i don't know i think he might be going back to probably and then since then it really is like i don't even know which one of us was right because it went to mou and then it went back to bombing and then it went back so like maybe we were both right or maybe you were right or i don't know but i'll say this the idea of like a ground invasion i just think that's off the table i just don't think.
18:15The terrain is too difficult and the numbers of losses that we would take. I think everyone knows that's just unsustainable or undoable. I don't think Trump's going to nuke Iran. I mean, look, I would be more concerned about him doing it than just about any other president, to be honest. But I just don't think that's going to happen. But the most likely thing to be really concerned about is that they actually do try to do one of these island games, whether it's Harmoose Island or there's a few different islands there. This is the thing that they're floating out. I don't know. Rob, do you think they're actually dumb enough to try this?
18:59We'll see. But I guess my guess is no. My guess is still he's got one more temper tantrum in him before he calls this quits. Although I got to say, because look, I pride myself on being right about the policy, but understanding exactly what's going to happen is very hard. It's very hard to predict the future and nobody's actually that great at it. And all the people who get all the credit for being good at it, you just have to ignore all the predictions they made that didn't come true at all for the most part. But some people are better at it than others. But I guess I've been feeling that for a long time and I'm kind of surprised that he's even drug it on this long because it's like there's just no victory here it's nothing but loss well he refuses to accept that and I guess keeps yelling at the generals to come up with an option who finally got so desperate they emailed the soldiers for hey what do you guys got for me I hope someone comes back with have we tried sharks with laser beams on their head yeah yeah yeah right no I mean that's that's about that's about where we're at and also like if all of these you know if all of island or just open the straighter.
20:07Like if any of these military options that these absolute buffoonish hacks, like Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin, they all act like all you got to do is this and then this and then this. It's like, yeah, okay, so why haven't they done that? Well, you're telling me that like Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro, they know that there's this easy military option, but these bozos at the Pentagon just can't figure out what that is? No, when emails are going out, asking troops for creative ideas. It's not because they've got an easy military option that they just have, out of the kindness of their heart, chosen not to employ.
20:45That's not what's going on here. There are no military options. I hope all the creative ideas was, why don't you take me out of this base in the Middle East because I'm in danger for absolutely no reason and serve as better lunch for morale. Yeah, there you go. Also, maybe Mark Levin and And Ben Shapiro, I have a point because our military was too stupid to apparently forecast that the Iranians were going to close the strait. So maybe they're just too stupid to realize that Cargillin is an easy take and that that will get Iran to fold. Who knows? Who knows how stupid our military is? Well, the truth.
21:19But the truth of all that is that it's I don't believe for once. It's just not true that nobody forecasted they would close the strait of Hermos. I don't know. Trump got either fucking he got moved either to just go along with it or to believe that somehow they could take him out before they would do that. But there's just no chance that there weren't a bunch of people who told him that they were going to close the Strait of Rome. And also, you know, I mean, everyone. A whole bunch of people in the national security apparatus are on record. I mean, who was it? I think, well, John Kerry and Hillary Clinton, not that I trust these democratic establishment figures, but there's a bunch of people I've heard in the military, more like at the top of the national security apparatus, who go, in every war game ever run with a ram, they close the Strait of Hermos.
22:10It would be a crazy level of incompetence to not already, he already had this information available to him. And I'm sorry, but in Donald Trump's first term, there were close calls with a war in Iran. And there were actually times where he was deliberating whether or not he would strike Iran and ultimately didn't. I just absolutely do not believe that he was never informed that like, this is one of the, in every war game we've ever run, this is the outcome. So by the way, keep this in mind when you're thinking about whether or not you're going to win. It's just Trump lying as always, you know. All right, guys, let's take a moment and thank our sponsor for today's show, which is Brunt workwear.
22:52Let me tell you something. If you need a durable pair of work boots, you got to go check out Brunt workwear because not only are they a great pair of work boots, but they are the most comfortable ones you'll ever throw on. For many, many years, the deal was always you either had comfort or you had a boot that stood up to the job. Brunt has changed that. I'm telling you, I shovel my property. I mow my lawn. I do all this stuff. I do it all in the Brunt Workwear boots. They've stand up. I've had them for a couple of years now. They're great. I love them. And from the first time I put them on, they felt like a worn in pair of sneakers.
23:28It really is pretty incredible. I highly recommend people go get a pair for themselves. And you can do that now and get$10 off if you're one of our listeners by going to BruntWorkwear.com and using the promo code PROBLEM. That will get you$10 off the most comfortable pair of work boots you've ever owned brunt workwear.com promo code problem for$10 off all right let's get back on the show all right let's talk fauci um or not even fauci let's more specifically i don't know i want to get into the bobby kennedy dana lash uh uh interview which really was something um but maybe we could start more broadly just kind of talking about the reaction to Fauci because it really has been, I don't know, Rob, it's been a little bit interesting for me to think about COVID again and do some podcasts on it and have it brought up, have it be really back in the conversation after not being as much for a period of time there.
24:31And it is just interesting where whereas I was listening to Brett Weinstein had a really great podcast on this the other day, but there is this dynamic that I guess all of us who were against the COVID insanity have, where it's like, we've won the argument in every conceivable way, and still will get nothing to show for it. But at the same time, I got to say, and maybe I don't know, maybe I'm being too optimistic or something like that. But there's something that I find very positive about it. I still do find something about going, okay, fine, we're not getting what we should get, which is this guy and a whole bunch of others going to prison for the rest of their lives.
25:22But there is something I think valuable in getting to be, I've found, listen, I've been doing this for 20 years. I know there's something valuable in over time being able to be like, hey, you remember this controversial position that we took? Look how well it's aged now. And I do think there's something cool about that. And the people who are trying to defend Fauci, I mean, they look more pathetic than ever, if you ask me. What do you think on the whole thing? I mean, firstly, I think in terms of correcting the COVID mistake, it goes beyond just prosecuting Fauci, but you got to unwind the government grant system.
26:01You got to do an investigation of the relationship between big pharma and government. And even just generally speaking, you know, the way that lobbying interests in large companies are able to basically hijack our government against the American interest. And Fauci is just really kind of the intro to that story. And on the positive side is just how many people are now aware of, don't just tell me, hey, we got to just follow the experts or, hey, we all have to just get in line with government policy or it's dangerous to allow for free speech if people are dissenting with government policy. I think the general public is more aware of the extent by which they can be lied to and manipulated.
26:38It is amazing to watch the way that the mainstream networks are trying to spin this. And they are literally just government state propaganda. That is all they are. And it is so transparently on display. I can't even verbally say out loud the feelings I have while watching these individuals defend Fauci and what I think their fate should be because they're lying through their teeth. But it's incredible because I just feel like I'm watching Russiagate again where they're like, we did our jobs perfectly. We were relaying the talking points from the government as we're going to see that's not your job.
27:14You're supposed to do journalism. Listen, 100%. Listen, just hold that thought one second, Rob, because I actually want to do, before we go into the Dana Lash video, And you're, listen, dude, you're just 100 % right about that. And you'll see what the role of what the, I mean, it's a great little example of, oh, yeah, this is why you guys lost all credibility. It's, I enjoy the reminder. I just wanted to play before we get to that. Because, look, I know that I've done this like a few points throughout, say, the last year, year and a couple months, let's say June of 24 to now, there's probably been a few different points where I've said like, hey, this is where Donald Trump's legacy was destroyed or this is where his coalition lost.
28:00And there were moments like, well, look, obviously like launching the war in Iran, the 12-day war, and then covering up the Epstein files were big, you know, things. But then like, obviously launching the war again. And then if you remember, we did a whole show on the time when he trashed Tucker and Megan and Alex Jones and Candace and praised Mark Levin. And you're like, okay, there you go. That was the moment. But I got to say, Rob, I know I picked several of these, but I don't think they're bad. I think all those moments, I just really were moments where there was something about this moment that we're about to play that I really, I understand I'm saying these moments already happened.

28:35His presidency is already destroyed. His legacy is destroyed. His coalition is destroyed. But this to me was almost just like, if you could have a moment that sums it all up, this is what Donald Trump said. Let's play the clip in response to the Fauci hearing. Well, the only thing you can really think about is the auto pen, because the most powerful thing the president has, they say, is the power of pardon. So he was pardoned by Biden, and I respect that. I know how powerful it is. It's very powerful. They say it's literally the most powerful thing a president has. Now, whether or not I signed my things directly, always, almost everything I signed directly.
29:18You're a witness to many of them. He signed very few. The only thing I know that he signed was Hunter Biden's pardon. But I'm not sure that he signed. He probably didn't sign this one. So I can't tell you what the law is. I've heard that you have to have a lot of proof. You need to have letters. You need to have all sorts of things that the person operating the auto pen has to know exactly what it's all about. He didn't know what it was about because I saw him testify. So maybe there's something on the auto pen. Other than that, the power of pardon is very powerful. So, Rob, what's that? We're going to let him get away with it.
29:59And by the way, you really don't have to read in between the lines too much to hear what Donald Trump just said very, very clearly. like, I need to pardon myself. Well, let's not mess with the power of presidential pardons. Let's just, no, listen, dude, I don't know. It's a little bit of a legal technicality. I mean, can he get away with it? Can he not get away with it? I know he ruined millions of people's lives, but there's just not that much urgency to figure it out and go get it, you know, because we don't want to mess with the power of the presidential pardon. You know, whoever the president pardons, that has to stick.
30:33So let's just keep that precedent going. Gee, I wonder why Donald Trump would want to keep that precedent going. I'm just saying this, just here, prediction. Like I said, I'm not that good at making predictions before. Donald Trump will pardon himself at the end of his presidency. There you go. And this is why he won't, and this is why he won't go after any of the pardons or try to even challenge it. Just try to get a win for the American people. Because whether anyone, Donald Trump doesn't care about anyone except himself. Obviously. This is a little bit like the Epstein thing and that you just have to widen the scope a little bit, which is Donald Trump.
31:06If you're actually interested in going after the deep state, which I will say is a apparatus of corporate and government interest that is not working in the interest of the American people. You can go after Deborah Brooks. You can go after Francis Collins. You can go after the guy from Pfizer, who's the head of the FDA. We can go after Burla. We can figure out what the hell happened with COVID and find people criminally accountable. Unwind the story. and clean up the structures that allowed COVID to take place. You can go after all the government officials that censor the Internet. You can go after people in the Biden administration.
31:36What you're what you're signaling is I do not care. I have no interest in cleaning things up. And so fine, I'll give it to you. Biden got I'm sorry, Fauci got a pardon. If you're interested in this storyline and cleaning up government after the massive failure that was COVID that took away people's rights, businesses and locked us in our homes, you can go clean that up and still let Fauci off the hook. You're not interested in it. And clearly here, what he's signaling directly is, hey, listen, the Biden's changed the game of writing blank and pardons for your family. And I'm going to do that for myself on the way out.
32:14I'm going to do that for my family. We are milking the system. We sold out and we are taking every penny we can out of this government on our way out. And I want to make sure that me and my family can have the same pardon that the Biden's got. And he's very clearly saying it. Yeah, I'm sorry, man. That's just absolutely what's happening. And once again, I mean, I just I love this example because and the reason why I put this as one of those, like if I had to like if I had to like lay down a flag at like a few different moments that were the reason why I lay one down here is because, look, I mean, drain the swamp and lock her up.
32:49were so, this was right at the core of what was so attractive about Donald Trump to people. And here you have a very clear moment where he's got a choice between like, can he have the American people's back or would you rather do the thing that protects you and your family? It's very blatant that that's the choice here. And it's an easy choice for Donald Trump, of course. We respect the auto pen now. Absolutely. It's so crazy. When he needed your vote, Did he ever say that? When he needed you, when he needed your vote, did he ever say, look, we got to respect the auto code. Did he ever say we're going to move on from Fauci?
33:24I mean, like, honestly, at this point, I don't know how you can. Listen, it's just this objective, right? That like if Donald Trump had run on, we're going to let Fauci go. We're going to bury the Epstein files. We're going to launch a couple of wars in Iran because that's the most important thing. Like, you know, it would have lost. Everyone knows that is what it is. All right, guys, let's take a moment and thank our sponsor for today's show, which is Quince. I've been talking a lot about these guys lately, and I got to tell you, I really love them. Now, let's get into the stuff you were talking about because, man, this is – it is almost like a little bit of a throwback. And it's interesting from our perspective, man, because we've been here through this whole thing like where it was like, you know, it is really hard to describe. and of course, everybody listening knows. I don't know if you guys can hear the rain, but it was pouring here all of a sudden. And so I apologize if that comes across, but it's kind of soothing.
35:40But look, Rob, as everybody remembers - That's the sound of my flight delay. Yeah, well, it might be. Sorry, yeah. But so as everybody remembers, right, in say March of 2020 or April of 2020, there, I mean, those of us who were against the lockdowns were this like tiny little voice, you know, on our little shows. And then the corporate media was like this giant, this was six years ago, man, or was it a little more six and a half year, less than six and a half years ago. You know, this is not that long a period of time. And it was like, I mean, everyone in the world, it seemed like, was focused on the mainstream media, to figure out what's going on.
36:32Everybody had NBC News on to see what the governor was going to say, or what Fauci was going to say, what Trump was going to say. It was all of that. And the mainstream had this narrative, and they were the most aggressive, the most censorious, and the most slanderous of the people who criticize them. It's been crazy to watch as now we come into a situation where the podcast scene is many times bigger than the corporate media and the consensus is that all of this was wrong and all of that stuff. I guess this interview to me, I think to a lot of people, just served as almost a reminder, even for those of us who have really focused quite a bit on this, that it's like, oh yeah.
37:15It's almost like you still don't have enough contempt for these people. And this is just like an amazing almost case study in how state propaganda works, especially state propaganda, because as always is the case, right? This is the very nature of government. The very nature of government is that it's an organization pretending to be something other than it is. It's the mafia pretending to be like a human rights organization. That's the nature of what government is, like this criminal organization that pretends we're here for you. All of their propaganda always has to pretend that. The way the propaganda works is you don't say I'm a state propagandist, you call yourself a journalist or a scientist or something, and you pretend that that's what you do.
38:08But let's just take a look at this because, I mean, the tactics are just unbelievable. And I gotta say, Bobby Kennedy, who I'm not that happy with and I don't think has done that great of a job. I'm waiting for the transformation here in our country where we all of a sudden, remember the big problem was that we led the world in chronic illness. Well, two years later, we lead the world in chronic illness. You know, like none of these problems have even been remotely approaching a solution or even have laid out what that solution might be. But that being said, does a goddamn good job in this interview.
38:42Anything you want to say before or you want to go to the tape? We can go to the tape. All right, let's do it. Virtually everything wrong the last time. So what about now? The principal thing that we need to do is we need to listen to what's happening to doctors on the ground. There are 15 million frontline physicians around the world. They're mainly now connected through the Internet. We can tell on the front lines what's working and what's not. If we had listened to those doctors during the COVID pandemic, we would have saved potentially millions of lives. There were therapeutics out there that were working.
39:20There were doctors that were having no deaths from COVID and treating, in some cases, thousands of patients. And we weren't listening to them. Instead, we were doing the opposite. that we were shutting them down. And then, Dana, the other thing that I would say is that we need to protect our constitutional rights. That that is the primary obligation. What does that mean? Well, during COVID, we completely dismantled our constitutional rights. We began censoring people in violation of the first amendment. But you're saying what not to do. I'm asking what to do. But I but I want to talk about something to do.
39:56That is the number one priority. we protect the Constitution. The Constitution was written. Forgive me, but you're just, you're talking about rights and I'm asking about a potential public health crisis that is. Sorry there, I muted myself because of the rain. I just already right there, right? The idea of like that protecting rights isn't the government doing something. And isn't it remarkable? I mean, we are, however far we've drifted from this, we are a country that was founded by the Declaration of Independence that explicitly says that the role of government is to protect natural God-given rights.
40:36That's the role of government. In fact, it explicitly says that when government goes beyond that, we have a right to overthrow the government. That's the founding of our... We literally, when we celebrate the 250th anniversary, we're celebrating the ratification of that document. This is a crazy concept. He goes, protect constitutional rights. She goes, what does that mean? But I want something we should do. Yeah, that's what you should do. And also, I mean, I think because Bobby actually wasn't good on lockdowns, at least initially, that's not what he went to first. But like the censorship probably isn't.
41:10If you were going like what constitutional rights were violated, I don't think the censorship is even the first one that I would I would name, you know. But anyway. Well, speaking, though, to implementing good health policy, the censorship that took place deleted common sense from existence. And that there were things that, you know, you could sit at home, be a fat drunk in your parents' house because they locked down the world and go, hey, the fact that I need to wear a mask into the restaurant but take it off does not make sense. or you could look at general science and be like, I don't understand why being outdoors around other people is dangerous for my health.
41:52Or you could look at, you know, you could read a page of one thing and go, wait, there's always been natural immunity and I've already gotten sick. Why would I need a vaccine in order to participate in society? And what allowed government to run cover for itself as it implemented policies that made no sense because they wanted to keep us locked down and push a vaccine on us was that they engaged in internet censorship. And so Bobby Kennedy's right here. It's like, if you want to have better, if you want to have better health outcomes, you can use the hive mind of the entire market, including doctors on the front line, who can actually tell you what's working versus a centralized government authority that's been corrupted by big pharma and corporate interest in, you know, spooks like Fauci, who will dictate policy that defy common sense, that if you got one asshole sitting at home going, the emperor is wearing no clothes, this makes no sense.
42:42Everyone can realize, yes, this makes no sense. And so he's actually giving you a good solution to what went so wrong during COVID, which was we sent we censored dissenters. And so we couldn't actually hear opposing perspectives. And that's how you implemented horrible policy. Dude, I remember it was do you I mean, there were things where and I really I'm sorry, I just don't give people excuses for this. Like, I don't know, maybe like for a little bit at the very beginning. But, you know, because it's like, look, I understand if like my seven year old, like all the kids were doing a thing and then she went to do the thing that all the kids were doing, even though it was really stupid.
43:23But you sit down and kind of have a conversation. Look, I understand you got swept up and like what everyone was doing, but you really should have known. But like you're an adult, man. You're a fucking adult. We used to have. I remember like how crazy people got during COVID. Like there were things like, we used to talk about this all the time where, um, when you would do standup shows, um, where, you know, they would have like the weird thing where you couldn't have the full crowd seated and stuff. And then there was, I remember doing, you remember doing shows where there were masks on, like were in place that, which I only did a few.
43:53I, cause after a while I was like, I'm not doing this anymore. I'm not doing this unless everyone can do. And there would be this thing where the rule was, if you guys remember during COVID, do you remember how you used to like you, if you went into a restaurant or this was how it wasn't comedy clubs. You'd have to wear your mask coming in. But then when you sat at the table, you'd take your mask off. You could drink and eat. And then if you had to go to the bathroom, you were supposed to put your mask on when you got up to go to the bathroom. And I would watch as someone got up and forgot to put their mask on and started walking, and people would be like, ooh.
44:24And you're like, guys, this makes no sense. No sense. I literally remember when I was on a plane, and I would take the mask down. And people next to me would kind of be like, eh. then if I ordered a drink, I could take the mask down and sip my drink. They weren't worried. It's like, guys, if you're an adult and you're looking at that, you go, guys, you're being crazy. This obviously makes no sense at all. Can we think about this like logical adults? And then when you said that, these people would smear you in the most vicious way. And then, as you said, try to silence you. It's like, I'm sorry, that's nuts.
45:00That's nuts. That's not following the science that's being a crazy person and giving into propaganda. Hey, listen, there was a health emergency. And so we were just going with the best information that we had at the time. And we had to seize everyone's rights because we didn't know what was actually going on. The lesson is not that we shouldn't seize people's rights because you can get things drastically wrong. And that's why the rights exist. And there's absolutely no reason for them if you can just declare emergency authority when things aren't actually emergency. If you're in a healthy, you know, healthy at the time, healthy groups.
45:32If you were a kid or generally healthy individual, there really was no emergency. And we probably knew that two months in. But, you know, their argument is, listen, if you're upset about this, it was Donald Trump's fault. There's no reason to do a look back. We have actual health problems now. Learning from the mistakes of COVID and everything that went wrong wouldn't help future policy. And so why are we even doing a look back on this or review of the fine work we did of keeping everyone in their homes for two years freaking out and demonizing those that actually believed in a free country where they shouldn't have to take an experimental vaccine because of government force and coercion that that's their talking point 100 dude I don't know if you specifically remember man but I specifically remember this well and I did it I I read it with you on an episode and then I read it with Michael Malice on an episode because me and him used to do a lot of crossover episodes during the pandemic.
46:25And I remember Malice credited this as being one of the things that really turned the way he looked at the pandemic around. And this was in April. Okay. So this was April of 2020, maybe two weeks, three weeks into April. And I remember it was the New York City, NYC.gov, like the New York City government put out the data. If you remember it this time New York was what they were calling the epicenter of COVID. So it was the most cases and the most deaths were coming out of New York. So at this point, it had already been, you know, I don't remember exactly what the number of deaths was, but it was in the thousands.
47:02And they released the data by age. And that changed everything. Literally everything about the way we all viewed the pandemic for the rest of the entire time. Because it was like, I mean, if you could literally, it was, I don't remember the exact numbers. If somebody wants to go back and find it. You can do the research, nyc.gov in April of 2020, the first batch of data on deaths by age that they released. But if I'm going to bring it back, it was like zero through 20 years old, zero deaths. 20 through 40 years old, zero deaths. 40 through 60 years old, two deaths. 60 through 70 years old, 15 deaths.
47:3870 through 80 years old, 300 deaths. And then it was like 80 through 100 years old, 3 ,000 deaths. And the second you saw that, you were like, oh, the survival rate is above 99.9 % for young, healthy people. The death rate for everybody, not severely compromised, either because they're very, very old. By the way, it had nothing to do with age. It was just about health. It's just that being very, very old is correlated with having bad health issues. But I'm just saying, so by the time the vaccines came out, this is April 2020, The vaccines are not out until almost a full year later. At this point now, a full year later, we've been through waves.
48:20Everybody's gotten the thing. Natural immunity has spread. It was so obvious that young, healthy people need not take an experimental mRNA vaccine. This was very obvious and common sense from the beginning without needing any real technical knowledge of, you know, epidemiology or something like that. You know what I mean? It's like you could just look at the very basic numbers and the very basic logic and go, none of this makes sense. All right, guys, let's take a moment and thank our sponsor for today's show, which is Superpower. Look, I know a lot of you guys are trying to take your health game to the next level.
49:00Superpower is a whole new way to level up your health game. What they do is they send a licensed professional to your home, or you can visit a nearby lab. It's one simple blood draw with over 100 biomarkers. This is way more than you usually get. So it unlocks a lot more about your body. And then they have their app. And the app gives you detailed information on your heart, liver, thyroid, hormones, metabolism, vitamin and mineral levels, even environmental toxins. So from disease prevention to treating that annoying brain fog or simply optimizing your gym game, Superpower is the most comprehensive and advanced system out there.
49:36So essentially, you're going to get a blood draw. Then you go on the app and they're going to give you detailed information about specifically for you what supplements to take, what type of workouts to do, how much sleep you need. And then what's cool is the idea is you keep taking tests and every test builds on the last. So now you can see what improvements have been made. you can get even more detailed information. Superpower used to cost$499, but right now, it's just$199 for the full experience that's more affordable than anything else out there. Other testing services are charging$500, even up to$1 ,000 sometimes for similar or less.
50:12Know your numbers with Superpower and activate your blueprint. Not only did Superpower reduce their price to just$199, but for a limited time, our listeners can get an additional$20 off when they use the promo code PROBLEM. Just head to superpower.com and use the promo code PROBLEM for an additional$20 off your membership. All right, let's get back on the show. And of course, those numbers were boosted by a faulty ventilator policy and sending sick people into old age homes. That is also very, very true. Nice way to juice the death numbers and get everyone terrified for their lives. Yes, they did.
50:50Yeah, let's go back to the CNN clip. that is coming but I do want to let's and one of the mistakes we made in the last time was suppressing those rights so people weren't being heard doctors who were saying you're doing it wrong we're being marginalized and vilified and because because again I really want to move on but yeah you were saying you were part of the problem no I wasn't yeah there was absolute press malpractice. We're allowing your job. Your job is a fierce skepticism toward authority. And you weren't doing that. You were beating up on people who were dissenting. No. Okay. Are you going to, you want to sit here and attack me or do you want to have conversations about public health?
51:39I'm not attacking you. I'm asking questions about how to prevent the next grand moment. That's what I'm trying to do. But I also don't want to use this interview to allow you to say things that aren't entirely true. You're talking about therapeutics fine. It is also factually true that the COVID vaccine worked. The COVID vaccine prevented deaths. There is data upon data upon data. Let's talk about the measles please because this is something that is happening as as we just pause it right here. This is already pause it right here. And this is, again, this is very clearly, this is the difference between a propagandist and a journalist.
52:20Obviously, obviously, Bobby is correct about this. Now, you don't have to agree with Bobby Kennedy about everything, but he is absolutely, undeniably correct that if somebody comes from the government and says, you know, this isn't somebody coming from the government and saying, we think we ought to raise taxes by 3%. This is somebody coming from the government and going, we think we need to shut down the economy. We think we need to suspend the Bill of Rights. We need to suspend freedom and institute, in the name of medicine, totalitarianism. Your job as a journalist is to be skeptical of that.
52:56Sorry. If your position isn't skepticism on that, then there is absolutely no role for journalism, period. And to say that your job here is to now carry water for the regime and attack anybody with skepticism for them who thinks maybe the government overreached and maybe who takes the radical position of we should protect constitutional rights. Think about the skepticism that you get for saying we should protect constitutional rights versus the skepticism for saying we should abolish them all. It tells you everything you need to know about the corporate media right there. But Rob, I also got to say, simply asserting that someone else is lying and that the vaccine is perfect, now let's move on, is not journalism.
53:38You are taking a position in a debate and then refusing to debate it. You're saying the guy's wrong, but now let's move on. The COVID vaccines worked. That's a fact. What the hell does worked mean? Well, by the way, again, worked is a kind of like, there's a thing they got here with the vaccines, right, Rob? And this was very frustrating, is that they, see, worked is vague. My marriage worked. Our last comedy show worked. Like, what do you mean by that? You know what I mean? Like, there's lots of different ways to measure this. You started by telling everybody that if they put this thing in their body, which they're unable to take out of their body, that you could not get the virus or transmit it.
54:21That's what you sold the virus on. You, Dana Bash, you sold the virus on that. That was a lie. It was not wrong. It was a lie. There was no evidence to suggest in any of the clinical trials that if you got this vaccine, you could not get or transmit COVID. Absolutely no evidence. In fact, they didn't even test transmission in the clinical trials. OK, this is just not. It was a lie. They got people to put something into their body that they can't take out based on a lie. And then they move the goalpost to that, to going, it cut down on severe hospitalization or death. Something very unfalsifiable, in fact, Rob.
55:03And then they can just say, worked, and move on. And it's disgusting. Yeah, well, the style of this interview is, hey, sir, I brought you on, Tascott, you got your questions, and this isn't going the right way, so I'd like to pivot now, and this is not what I want to talk about. with the bitchy undertone of pretending like you're the professional and you're being the nice one and they're the one attacking you by just actually giving pushback and actually being right. And she can't handle that because, you know, she doesn't want to be exploring this topic, which is CNN engaging in propaganda and or whatever network this is and just being wrong for years on end.
55:41And so she instantly goes, well, I this is not what I want to talk about. so let's pivot to where you're messing up. Hey, let's not, I don't want to relitigate this because I can't possibly win this conversation. And this is about making you look bad, so I'm going to pivot here. Yeah, and it's, I mean, look, it's just, again, it's infuriating because it's like, as we always talk about, like, real people's lives were ruined over this shit. And even for people who don't, like, look, I brought up the example quite a bit that I got a family friend of mine who was a, he was in college, he's a kid of one of my mom's friends, and he was in college in grad school when all the thing happened, right?
56:16And so he's in this graduate program, this Ivy League graduate school. And they, so he had gotten, they made him get the vax. They made him get double vax, the two initial doses of the vax because they were going to kick him out. He had one year left in his program. They're going to kick him out of school if he doesn't get the vaccine. So he's like, fuck now. Again, the kid's in his 20s. He's perfectly healthy. He's an athlete. There's just absolutely no reason why he needed to get this thing, right? So he gets the two doses. A few months later, I forget what it was, five, six months later, he gets COVID.
56:48Because that's what happens when you get the vaccine. You still get it. So he gets COVID. The next month, the booster came out, and they mandated the booster for his school. Now, I'm sorry, but you tell me, you show me one scientist in the world, me as a non-expert comedian, I'll debate any scientist in the world who wants to argue that a healthy kid in his 20s who got two doses of the vaccine and then a month earlier had gotten the germ again, was doing nothing but taking medical risk by getting that vaccine. Absolutely nothing. I'm sorry. It is fucking criminal for medical professionals to tell someone to do something that is nothing but a medical risk to them.
57:28Absolutely nothing. You should do life in jail for doing that. Risk a young 20-something-year-old's health? You fucking crazy. And then you would smear those of us who none of us ever said that an old person who's never had COVID shouldn't take the shot. Go take it if you want to. Don't you sit here and tell me that a healthy 20-year-old who just had has better immunity, but according to every study, has better immunity than the kid who got the shot last month. He got the virus last month. Just insane. Can Dana Bash defend that? No, no one can. There's not a scientists in the world who can. Anyway, let's keep playing.
58:11Protected children. I think that what I have talked to scientists and doctors about. Can you look, can you show me one study? Yes, I can. It shows that I can. Children were protected by the COVID vaccine. I can tell you that there are more good than harm to children. Can you show me one study that shows that? I can tell you that when it comes to the vaccine, there have been studies that show that because of vaccine disinformation, disinformation, there could have been 100 to 200 ,000 lives in the U.S. saved because people didn't get the vaccine. I'm not saying that it is. Just pause it for a second.
58:51The study that she's referring to actually said 250 ,000, and the study's complete fucking bullshit. Jay Bhattacharya and Rav did a great podcast on it. I have to look to find it, but it's complete bullshit. It's just complete bullshit. Essentially, what they did is they took the number of, they tried to take the death rate from before the vaccine and then say the death rate after the vaccine and then say if we had gotten, but there were all types of just horrible factors in there. One of the things was that COVID only really killed very old, very sick people, and something like 99 % of them got vaccinated.
59:32Really old, really sick people, like all got vaccinated. And the only ones who didn't were because like their doctor were like, they're too sick to take a vaccine. We're worried that the illness they get from the vaccine might actually kill them. So we can't give them the vaccine. So in other words, when they would sit there and say, look, vaccine compliance is at 72 % or whatever, but we got to get it up to like 86%. The major problem that they weren't looking at was that you're not going to actually save a lot of lives if you're just vaccinating all of the 30 year olds who haven't gotten it.
1:00:03It doesn't matter, they're not going to die from the thing anyway. The only way you're really going to save numbers of lives is if you vaccinate the very vulnerable people theoretically, if it even helps them at all, which is not very clear that after they've had COVID, it was even necessary for them to do it. But regardless, the point is that the study was complete bullshit. There actually weren't a lot more lives to be saved by vaccine people. But anyway, let's go back to this thing. Bobbi asked her a specific question. Obviously, she's got the answer to it is no. She doesn't have a study that says this was beneficial for children because such a study does not exist.
1:00:36Now, let's keep playing.
1:00:41When it comes to the vaccine, there have been studies that show that because of vaccine disinformation, there could have been 100 to 200 ,000 lives in the U.S. saved. But because people didn't get the vaccine, that's why. I'm not saying that it entirely... You are saying nonsense. You are saying something that you cannot show me. A single study that says that. I am not saying nonsense. You are talking what somebody told you. Excuse me. Cite me the study. What study? No, what studies are you talking about? You're talking about studies that actually don't exist. I want to talk about... Cite me the study that you're talking about.
1:01:20I am not here to defend. You say you're saying studies. Cite me the study. This is not productive. I am not here to defend all of her. Let me finish. You're talking nonsense. You can't support it. Pause it, please. You know, Rob, this is not productive. That's a great thing to say when you're just called completely on your bullshit. Oh, first of all, she doesn't even remember the study that she's referring to. She doesn't even remember the study. She didn't even get the numbers right. She's just invoking it. It literally is exactly what Bobby's saying. someone told you this and you're repeating it but you can't in any listen in any debate no matter what it is if you invoke something and then can't name it you if i go it was reported as this and then you go what's your source on that and i go look you're making up sources you go no no you just made a claim what's your source on that you know and i got eyes this isn't productive
1:02:18it's not productive for you I gotta say I'm finding it very productive personally but that's good that that's your opinion all right you always play a little more call you on there you're telling me I'm arguing okay do you want to talk about you want to talk about assertions that you can't support I'll get there in a second let me just say for the record that I am not saying that the entire way that the COVID reaction was accurate. It was a scary time and people made mistakes. Absolutely nothing did. You were scaring people. Why are you saying that? Because that was the job of CNN. Okay. Was to put the chyrons up about how many people are dying.
1:02:56We were trying to be... We weren't listening. Stop. Stop. No, no, no. Don't mention that. Don't mention that. By the way, when did they stop running that number of deaths? I can't remember exactly. Oh, yeah, it was as soon as Joe Biden got elected. Soon as Joe Biden got elected, they stopped doing it. I mean, dude, they were trying to scare the crap out of people. One of the weirdest things about COVID was when good news would come out, or like someone would say, we should be optimistic about this, and they'd freak out about it. They literally, everybody who was there for the time knows this was their business.
1:03:31And good for Bobby for saying it to her face. I do remember when they stopped reporting infections, and that was after everyone had been vaccinated because they didn't want people to see the numbers. And then I was in the Omicron. Yeah. And then I also remember when they went from please go get tested and it's covered by insurance to we don't want to test you. Yeah, no, that's right, because they didn't all of a sudden it was really and this is what happened, right, is that it was really they when they wanted there was the lockdown regime and then it went into the vaccine regime. right? So first they were locking everyone down, then they were trying to get everyone vaccinated.
1:04:05When they were locking everyone down, they were trying to scare everyone with how high the death toll and how high the infection rate was. But once they had gotten so much of the population vaccinated, the death toll was higher and the infection rate was higher. So they didn't want to put those numbers out because now we're in the vaccine regime and that makes it look pretty bad, like a year into the vaccine. You know, if you have a disease and then you have a cure, and then a year later, the disease is worse. You do bring that cure into question. You know, a year later, a lot of people have taken the cure and the disease is worse.
1:04:39That's typically not how it's supposed to go. I know this is, I'm no scientist here, but you come out with the cure, you expect the rate of the illness to go down. I think it's reasonable. All right, I gotta get on this one minute. Here, I'll play one more clip and then we'll wrap up. RobbieTheFire, PorchTour.com. Go see him on the road, people. Well, let's go back to the clip and I'll take us home.
1:05:05To the leaders in this country, including the president who had a daily press conference explaining what was going on and trying to listen. I want to talk to me. Actually, were you reading the measles? Measles cases in the U.S. just reached a 35 year high. The second record-breaking year in a row, 93 % of these cases are among the unvaccinated. The outbreak is happening on your watch. And even before becoming HHS secretary for years, you have been one of the leading voices questioning the efficacy of vaccines. Do you accept some responsibility for this measles outbreak? Absolutely not. First of all, this is an international outbreak.
1:05:51so okay let's uh you know let's just leave it there country in the world because there's a look there's a bunch of other great clips from this i encourage people to go watch the whole thing but i'll i'll leave it on that because look let's there's something interesting about this okay so all the stuff that we were just saying here i don't really know how anyone can deny this about covet at this point right like can you deny when i was telling you about that 20 year old family friend does anyone sit here or he's 25 or something does anyone sit here and go no no no no, no, even a month after getting the virus, he should have taken a booster, right?
1:06:22No one actually can argue with that. Nobody can actually argue that it made sense for the guy next to me on the plane to freak out when my mask fell below my nose, but then not freak out when I grabbed a can of soda and drank it next to him. No one can argue that that wasn't irrational, right? Like, obviously, that was rational. And so if she's, let's just say, we'll start from the point, because I've always said to you guys, I'm fairly agnostic on a lot of this stuff. I've seen Bobby be very sloppy with some of the arguments he makes before. I don't know that he's right about some of the things he says about the MMR vaccine or any of this other stuff.
1:07:02Let's assume Dana Bash's worldview is completely correct, but grant me the point, which is a pretty easy point to grant, as I was saying before, that the 25-year-old healthy guy didn't need a third vaccine after he had just gotten the virus, right? Let's say the MMR vaccine has nothing to do with autism. There is absolutely no correlation, or excuse me, there is a correlation, but there's no causation there and whatever, you know, and it's great and it prevents measles and there's this outbreak happening because people aren't getting the vaccine, right? Like even Bobby points out, these are international numbers.
1:07:34It's not on him. Her point is ridiculous. Let's say it wasn't. Let's say her point wasn't ridiculous. Let's say the outbreak was all in the United States of America, it was due to vaccine hesitancy. And so now she's going to sit here and ask Bobby, do you hold any responsibility for this? I mean, this is happening on your watch, right? Do you have any responsibility for this? Hey, Dana, do you have any responsibility for this? Do you? Do you not? All of us, I mean, look, there was a small group of people who didn't believe in vaccines pre-COVID. None of the rest of us were like that. The fact is that you guys lied through your fucking teeth about a thing that you called a vaccine, which is really debatable whether it should be called a vaccine at all or not.
1:08:16It's not a vaccine in the traditional sense. So you lied through your teeth about that and forced tens of millions of people to get the thing when they didn't need it. It didn't work. It made a lot of them sick, and it resulted in long-term injuries for many others. Are you responsible for vaccine hesitancy at all? do you think that may not make people go, well, if they lied about that one, how do I know they're not lying about all the other ones? So even by your own, if you're right about all of this, it's still more your fault than anyone else's. That's where we could wrap up for today. Thank you guys very much for listening.
