And if you want more Pitchside, catch us on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram where you can find us by typing in Pitchside. Let's get into it. Welcome back to Darkside, guys. Should we talk about your mate? Mbappe. He's actually not a friend of the show, I've never met him. Picked by the parrot. Oh, you don't like him? He's not friend of the show. You don't like Ronaldo? He's not friend of the show. Are you disrespecting your leader?
0:38No, he's not my leader. Oh, he's turned on him because he started to embarrass himself recently. Actually, a little side note. Is he friend of the show? Technically, he's friend of the show now. Shut up. How? Talk to us. So, my barber works at a barber shop. I know how you mean. And the main barber who runs that shop, went, he does Dallow's hair, and I think he does a few of the United's back, went over to Ireland, cut Ronaldo's hair. Wow. Can I make a motion? Tom, how do you think that happened? Can we not make a friend of the show? Because he's a bit... He's a bit... Assistant to the friend of the show.
1:10He was going to cut Dallo's hair anyway. He was going over to Ireland to cut his hair. And then Dallo, I think, said, I think Ronaldo wants his hair doing. He said, okay. Oh, Ronaldo didn't message him. No, no. Dallo sorted it. But apparently, he's a really, really nice, nice, funny guy. Apparently, Ronaldo... They probably all are just like... No, no. Obviously, I joke. We only see them on the pitch. We don't know them personally. But he is a titty babby. well a funny one when he got sent off and then Portugal won 9-1 the next game by the way I think they're better without him it does make you think I've been saying this he's been better without him for fucking years for the last five years he's been better without him is he still on free kicks he's not scored a free kick in 10 years what do you reckon his stance on like you know because obviously the whole he's doing the interview Portugal need to win the World Cup blah blah blah of him being like do I step back for the greater good here no no he's already said he's already now said it's not his dream to win the World Cup even though three years ago he said it was.
2:02Oh yeah, but I mean... So his dreams changed in three years. Isn't it every footballer's dream to win the World Cup? Of course. Yes. That's number one. So how do you feel about him lying, Theo? No, he's not lying, he's having banter. Oh, Ronaldo banter. Ronaldo banter. He'll be the first guy to play six World Cups to be fair though. But talking of should he step aside and should he not play, should Bellingham not play for England? Bellingham's good. He's played well. People just love to moan constantly about everything. We've gone undefeated, not conceded a goal. First time anyone's done that.
2:29Look, I'm not against having one player in the team who's a bit more like... He's highly competitive. He's getting subbed off. He doesn't want to get subbed off. That's how competitive... That's what you want. You can't have a team that are all like, ooh, come by us. You've been speaking straight facts recently, Lewis. Oh, no. That's how you know you're wrong. Harry Kane, another price. It was at 8-8 for qualification. No goals conceded. 8 times 3 is... 27. What? 24. Just say the first minute. 24 points out. 24 points. Are we going to win the World Cup? There's every shot. No. Yeah, we are. With Harry Kane up front.
3:07We're going out for hot summer camp as well. What about Norway being in the way, mate? How many goals did he score? 3 million. 16 and 8 now. 4 million. He scored 3 million in four games, Holland. And he's not the only striker in form, is he? Troy Parrott. Come on. Pet by the Parrott. Pet by the Parrott. 5 and 2 for a guy that's supposed to be playing second foot up to Evan Ferguson. is pretty fucking good. He's good, man. I mean, Lewis will tell you, I knew. Tom's been on the swift. You've been following Alkmaar this season. No, I signed him on my football manager. Honestly, don't worry about it.
3:37Don't worry about it. He's got mad stats out in Holland at the moment. He scores like every game. He is really good. Genuinely. Why didn't Spurs let him go? They could do with a striker right now. I think at the time they had Kane and stuff. I don't know. Is he permanently at Alkmaar? He's permanently signed. He's a top scorer. Because they signed him for quite a bit of money, didn't they? Mate, we're on a cheap deal. I don't think. I'm pretty sure Altmar paid a bit of money for him. Paying off at the moment, that's for sure. For at the time, someone who was relatively unknown. Mate, for 23 and unders, he's the top scorer for club and country.
4:05That's pretty beautiful. Really? Mate, how do you... At least he's on nine, mate. How do you use a get-by of a keyboard, mate? Parrot, P-A-Q-R. Six goals, one assist for seven matches in the Ritavise. Also, can I say, did he look like that, I suppose? No, while we're going on stats, we're going to see how much he went for. Just go club. Yeah, 6 or 7 million, yeah, when he was... But yeah... He's playing well, mate. He's in form. He's got Ireland to the World Cup. They're not at the World Cup yet. No, they've now got a playoff. Again? Don't know yet. Don't know yet, don't they? And Scotland aren't definitely in yet, are they?
4:39I don't know. Who cares? Wales still could, but it's unlikely. And then there's also... But you want the... Italy might not again. If Ireland gets through to the World Cup... New York's got something coming. America's going to be fucking... Oh, no, because then all the Americans who claim they're Irish are going to be out in there. No, but there'll be loads more Irish people, which they'll cancel. No, but they'll be... They'll be trying to be edgy. I told you this. It's more Irish in America than Irish in Ireland. No, there's not. No, there's not Irish. There's people who are going to claim that they're Irish.
5:07They're not. My great-great-great-granddad had a fucking pint of Guinness the once I'm fucking Irish. No, you're not. You're a yank. Shut up. I'm talking about the actual Irish people. They're not, though. They annoy me. No, I'm talking about the Irish people. Yeah, I don't mind the Irish people going up, But I'm saying... Yeah, that's my point. That's what I'm on about. Yeah, that bit's great. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But it doesn't outweigh how many of the Irish Americans will come out the woodworks if they're at a World Cup. But they're going to dye Chicago River green again for the entirety of the World Cup.
5:36Chicago River? I don't know what it's called. Lake Michigan, do you mean? No, that's a lake. The river going through it. It's a river going through Chicago which flows into Lake Michigan. River Edward. It's fucking Michigan. And they dye it green. You've never seen that? No, I haven't. Oh, you don't know your Irish born-hows day. It was like really bad pollution that wasn't it? It was like they killed tons of fish. No it didn't. It was a really bad thing. I'm sure loads of people died. Ah nice. It got into like the water that they were drinking I'm sure. That's nice of you. Everyone's drinking green That's nice of you to celebrate that.
6:05Yeah. People die. You know what? You're chatting fucking shit man. Are you sure he was in the hood soon? Jennifer. That's in New York. Yeah. Are you sure it wasn't that? Concrete jungle? That's where James was made of. When I was over there they used to do when it was Paddy's day you could buy like green beer. It tastes exactly the same. They just put a bit of green dye in. But yeah, international break has had its, it's had its ups and it's definitely had its downs, by the way. A lot of people saying too much football being played. Thoughts on Gabriel getting injured? Fuck. Yeah, it's actually.
6:35It's fine because you've got mascara and you've already won the league so you don't mind that. It'd be Hincapie. It'd be Hincapie. You can just go on both sides. They're fucking fine. As you all know, I broke the news to Arteta that Gabriel said that. Yeah. He went to the toilet. You followed him I followed him To the toilet Knock knock knock You never guessed what I saw What the fuck You're done in there man Hey it's me Gabrielle's out Mikael Do you remember When we filmed together Well he said that to me Actually but anyway Premier League's back Oh fuck Oh god Premier League's back man Yes it is You excited for the show again guys What show Your prediction show Friday I don't know I zone out for that normally He's not even on it I'm not on it Well I thought you two Do the reviews And then the other people come in and take your...
7:19I don't know. I don't know. Mate, you're clearly not up to date with me. Don't you try and get in on the joke, mate. I'm not on the joke. We get locked up whenever that is going. I just know what goes on. I don't know the joke. I'm aware of the situation. Nah, you've been begging it for weeks. You've been begging it for weeks, mate. It's kind of cringe that you even know what it is. It makes me want to stop doing it. Yeah, yeah. It's like your mum finds your Facebook page. Yeah, you're killing the vibe. I know we discussed it on Backside earlier. The villain came up on my TikTok. I don't know who that is.
7:45I don't know who that is. Right, let's talk about the Premier League then. Now, obviously guys, this is a good question actually. We always talk about streets won't forget players but are there any players currently playing who could be considered streets won't forget? Dan Byrne. I actually, I think it's a great shout. No, because he's more Huge goals, massive. One missing finger. Streets don't forget. He's too, he's not like low-key enough. I don't know. Yeah, he's a too big a team. I'd scream it. He's scored big goals. No, no, you're missing the point. No, because for example, Docku is a perfect representation of a street player, but he's at Man City, so he never read.
8:23No, he's just disagreeing with your logic because he's saying Docku would be a good one. No, Dan Bird's not too big of a player. He's done too much and been too significant to be a street player. No, no, no, no, no. You're only thinking because he's doing it right now. His career was quite like, he's working his way through Darlow, then at Bryant, wasn't like a huge name there, and then at Newcastle, he's also scoring Travers league goals Cup final goals You can say the same About Vardy You wouldn't call Vardy A streets won't forget player No you wouldn't But he kind of is I think Daburn is called For the near to It is a good shot It is a good one What about Throw me out here Buendia Okay right get out If he continues the season Buendia Nah I'll forget him Technical Yeah I will forget him I already forgot him What about Donio Marlon Who Semenyo's a good one Nah he's going to be Onto a world bit amazing Semenyo needs to fall off Though Semenyo is currently On like a trajectory Of some of the players I've got Who then just went blank I think last season you could say Justin Kluivert.
9:14Yeah. That's a good shout. All you remember him scoring is bangers. Yeah. Was it true? Sort of. I've got a bit of a rogue one. Go on. Ruben Neves, maybe. Had a good few bangers and then just went to Saudi. Got his bag. No one talks about him anymore. The fucking dingle fucker. I kind of forgot. Well, it made us think, guys, because we're going to be ranking our top 10 streets won't forget players. Now, I think it's important to note here that I'm guessing we're all going to have a few of the same names which are very common here, but I think we've all made it a little bit personal to us, right?
9:45Yeah, they're rough vibes, right? I haven't put any Albion players in because... I've not got Arsenal players. Only because I think it's hard for me to judge a Streets Won't Forget player for West Brom because I don't forget them. Yeah, I've got no Arsenal players in my name. I've got some. Yeah, you don't have any though. Arsenal don't have Streets Won't Forget. It's not really a club for Streets Won't Forget, is it? I might have three Newcastle players. Okay. I'd say Squalatchy. well should we get into the naming of the players yeah Lewis you're going last because I'm excited for your one I feel like mine's actually quite boring okay you're going first then okay senorita I reckon I can get oh actually I've got an awesome player head up Aaron Ramsey okay streets won't forget number 10 I've got Ben Jarny oh good remember his Portable season and then he went to Man City and wasn't really that good he's alright yeah I know but he was banged him in that postseason, didn't he?
10:36And then they spent a lot of money on him at the time. I love his celebration. What was it again? Nice. Ninth, I've got Pedersen. Ninth! No, no, no, no, no. You can't call him that. It's illegal to call it. MGP, mate. Oh, my God. I can't believe you got him now. Yeah, that's crazy. Because he's more relevant than ever these days. I've got Rory fucking Dallap in the... Streets won't forget. You won't forget the Javelin player throwing the balls five as fuck I suppose it's a different way of you remembering I should say the way I've done this is how I remember them in my head it's like yeah we don't want to know it's more like you know what I mean in the brink we don't want to get in your head in the brink seventh Rodieger I don't know why he always comes to me oh that's good Hugo fuck yeah that's a good one mate thanks guys Hugo Rodieger thank you very much guys are you like flexing that you knew his first name everyone knows his name you know there's certain footballers you don't say just S.
11:31Erlem you say the full name like Morgan Rodgers or maybe like this You don't say Rodgers, do you? Maybe like this one right now. I'll say Maximan, sixth. Yeah. Fifth, you might say low, but he just does me head in. Mainly because of me, you saw what's going on about him. Terapt. Fourth, I would like to put this as part of a duo, but I'm going to just have to put him single because that's how it works. But it's Cissé, but I would have Barn Cissé, but Cissé, mate, that six-month period he had was fucking ridiculous. Why would you put Denver Mourn like fifth? Have you seen Mission Mourn? Because I don't want to put even Mourn.
11:59I don't want to put... He scored seven that game. I don't want to put more He's such a funny team I don't want to put more Newcastle players in Third Mechu Classic Second Ben Arthur First Paya I try Paya he's not a street Yeah he is Yes he is I actually do have him But I've got him lower down Because he's just like I think he's too It's because of the amount Of amazing goals That he's scored And the fact that Who's at West Ham though I was saying I think streets don't forget I think streets don't forget players Like they're normally Playing a shit team And they're like The one shining light Of that period I think he's too good But personally, I think he's too good to be in the streets, don't forget.
12:33Yeah. Well, I'll just go jump off a cliff then. No, you can't be wrong, mate. No, that's it. I'm going to do it. Mine's quite different then, I don't mind. I've got intent, Graziano Pella. Yeah, I like that a lot. Handsome bastard he was. Was he good though? He had like one season race. Was he? Yeah, he was really good. And then he just like went and shagged people, I think. All right. People. Ninth, I've gone with Aidan McGeady. Yeah, by the way. He's one of my favourite footballers of all time. Really? Really? I have a win. I'll give you a second to take that back. There's no way in the Giddy's.
13:04I've got videos named after him and everything in my channel. That doesn't, one of your favourite players of all time is Aidan McGeedy. Yeah, because of the McGeedy spin. Yeah, fair enough. The trick, wasn't it? I tried on Carrigan once and failed and he elbowed me the neck. Hey, I've gone with Abu Dhabi. Okay. I loved him, but he just couldn't play. Yeah, injury was prone, wasn't it? He is forgotten, so he never played. But when he played, he was like Vieira. He was, he was, yeah. Seven for Ben Arthur. Seven, wow. Yeah, because I do think... It's just classic, isn't it? I prefer the ones above him.
13:32I've actually got another one because I've just realised. Sixth, Michu, because it was one season. Yeah. Fifth, fucking good one though, wasn't it? Giovanni. Yeah. At Hall. That's fucking it. Oh, wait, no, don't worry. You mean to Santos? No, Giovanni at Hall, who scored a great goal at the Emirates when they beat you, the ones. I thought you just said Giovanni. Fourth, Ami Azaki. Now, if it was up to me, he'd be number one. Wigan! He's my, like, ultimate one-season wonder. How many guys do it? What is... He went on a spell of, like... I think he only scored, like, 12 goals. But to me, remember...
14:04It feels like a lot. It was less goals like that, though, wasn't it? It felt like 30. But I remember he went to Anfield and he scored and he had them white Mercuras with the blue tick. And I remember my dad bought me... Oh, mate, they're so nice. And then my dad went and bought me one. But then they ended up smelling, like, cat piss. Do you remember all the Nike boots? Oh, they reek. Oh, man, the orange ones. Stunk. Number three, Lauren Robert. Wasn't good enough for that. Oh, yeah. I love Lauren Robert so much. They infamously changed his face, didn't they? To Munez. Yeah. By the way, that's a pet peeve of mine.
14:35And they picked the footage. No, the fact Santiago Munez was right-footed and then he scores like a left-footed free kick and I'm just like, fucking Robert. I don't think the actor could play any bit of football. No, he was shit. No, he was really bad. Even the way he was like run up. You could tell by movement. Terrible. Great film though. Slow bended up. Gavin Harrison down there. I need a fucking ball. I watch it tonight. Second, I got Terapped. And then first, I got Morton Gams Pedersen. Yeah. MGP, number one. I just think Pedersen is just the ultimate. Go. Everything you want to describe the streets won't forget, he ticks the box.
15:09Mid-table team, a couple of seasons, absolute bangers. Yeah, like distinctive left foot, like. Shout out Som and Choi. I would have put him in, but I don't even know if you lot know those. Yeah, West Brom player, isn't he? Som and Choi. Yeah. Som and Choi. Not so young, no go on then he's so in tune fuck no mate 10 I got Papi Cissé these two are both lower down because it's like Tom said they are streets don't forget but they're just individually very good players so it's difficult to put them any higher I got Ronaldo no no I got Moussa Dembele at 9 and then I've got and then I've got Dimitri Pye in 8 for the same reasons you can't have Dembele why he was like well Ronaldo he's the best player to ever have played in the league he's too good for this list he's too good for this list okay is he not I don't know I disagree I feel like everyone said he's overrated anyway who didn't you I've never said he's overrated I have not I see your argument on being too good I don't think that Billy crosses that and he was at Tottenham who were a decent side at the time I guess but I think he's on the edge but I feel like I feel like you let players like Paya through like if you're at a bad club if Paye was playing for Arsenal not a chance but it's the fact that you have such a good player just start a list team yeah maybe it was left footed as well yeah ultimately adds a lot off the rip isn't it 7 Wiffle Boney oh nice score some goals for Swansea nice 6 Ben Arthur 5 I fucking love this guy and just because of his like quote on FIFA Street as well it's just a joke Yacoubi yeah goes past 1 goes past 2 great deal by Yacoubi it's quite cool that he was chosen to be on FIFA Street he was literally the main guy for the first game pretty much as a striker.
16:55Yakubu? Was he really? He was like 99 pounds. You get Paddy Kenny unlocked straight off the bat and then it's a few later. It's like random plays. I don't remember. I remember having it but I don't remember. The Coliseum goal. Yeah. FIFA Street used the wall in there. I don't actually remember playing FIFA Street. Game Breaker is the best game. PS2 is the best game. Then they ruined it. Yeah. Like ruin everything. Yeah, that's prime football game, man.
17:20Fourth, I have Morgan Gumps-Peddison. Fuck. Third Adults Wrapped Second Meet You for me And then first On a very wholesome Personal level It's Yannick Yannick Bellassi Because I met him And he just did a great guy And his proper streets Won't forget So there you go Hang on You've got that Sorry Thanks mate You met him Yeah I did a video with him He's just a top Top low He is friend of the show Yannick Bellassi's friend of the show I don't think he will be Because he once had a go At me on Twitter So Did he? Maybe he's Split the difference I think I said something about I think Zaha got sent off the once and I did a tweet basically being like what a big baby and then Balassie like quote tweeted going you don't know him like what do you think you are talking about and I was just like why are you rattle and you shit yourself why are you rattle lad oh my god get molten and he started two skills didn't he like the Balassie flick was his he was shit Balassie and then he what was that one where he did that yeah this isn't because he had a go at me on Twitter oh of course it's not yeah yeah of course it's not he was shit he genuinely watched you so that makes him very strange that sounds like your butt hurt did you get humbled by the Belastis did you get Belastis fixed as a kid I actually think I won that dispute but we're going to have to go VAR chick HMRC big baby this is the right answer in 10 we've got Crenshaw he was the son Harry Redknapp never had he has a son nice yeah I think he's got multiple sons actually Jamie Jamie.
18:52He's got a... He's also got a... Jamie Crenshaw. He's got a... What are they called? I don't know what you're saying. Nephew. Frank. Yeah. Why do you know so much about his family? How do you make your list this long? We're only on number 10. Nine. I've got Figueroa for his free kick against Stoke. What's wrong with Figueroa? No, no, carry on. He's fucking class for Wigan. It was unreal. Just from that random Wigan team, isn't he? I love that team so much. That's all I think about when I think of Wigan. Valencia as well. they're just such a random Wigan team
19:25Ryan Taylor at the time as well he's got some freaky do you know what he's got a bad shout out have you got Ryan Taylor by any chance why are you ruining my list you fucking freaks you haven't got you got Matty Taylor in eight in eight I got Miche just boring pick put him in then if you don't even like the whole point is you pick the 10 you prefer in seven in seven this bloke was just like the greatest left of all time Matty Taylor we just spoke about him We actually brought him up. Why don't you let someone do their list? We actually brought him up. Oh! Number six. I don't think he's ever scored a goal from inside 30 yards.
20:01It's two guy. Yeah. Come on, Will. Thanks for that one. In five, it's Alano. Yeah, it's a good shot. Mate. He's free kicks. I think it's got a lot of free kick takers. Yeah, yeah. Long story. Number four I don't know why He makes me feel some way David Beckham Close I got Paul Koncheski Yeah I just remember I just remember What list we're doing there I fucking love him man What do you mean though? Sorry you got Figueroa I love it And Paul Koncheski Do you remember the goal he scored In the FA Cup final? It was a cross It was a goal though No one's ever gone No you remember Paul Koncheski That's your streets Won't forget Four Number four.
20:46Number four. I love him. I told you, it's all personal. I love him. Yeah, but what do you define streets won't forget as? Well, he's forgotten fullback, isn't he? This is Theo doesn't forget. Not streets. Yeah. Paul Kaczewski, mate. Look at the reaction. There you go. Exactly. What? That doesn't prove the point. That's very cult. He played for his shit team. He played for Liverpool. I'm talking about when he's at West Ham. I'm not talking about when he played for Liverpool. You think of the players in certain areas of their life. Paul Kineski was just like a steady left back. I don't know what...
21:17You think of these players at certain points in their career, and I'm thinking West Ham, Paul Kineski. I know, but... He was shit. I loved him. And he was average. I loved him. Exactly why his streets won't forget. Yeah, okay, yeah, you can. At least he's a figure out where I get it. He scored that crazy goal, and he's a bit, I don't know, unorthodox, whatever, but I don't understand that. Again, us saying his shit doesn't mean... That doesn't prove his streets don't forget. I got me wrong. You're acting like I'm wrong here. No because Are you telling me Are you telling me That's I'm saying Streets don't forget Means the streets Yeah streets will never forget Nobody's going on the street Going on Do you remember when Paul Kanceski Luke's got his ear to the ground I'm still not I'm literally on the street Also another one of those players You say the full name Paul Kanceski You don't know That's not one Every time you said That name today You said Paul Kanceski Because you keep saying Paul Kanceski Yeah You said it There you go Yeah Next up I've got Alan Stubbs Alan Smith would be a good one No he wouldn't In three I got Terapped Do you understand why Terapped's a street so I don't forget player In two I got Ben Arthur and in one I got my favourite football of all time obviously Morton Gams Pedersen Oh my god he lied Yeah I put it wrong Oh my god he's just lying Why are you lying By the way it's not that big of a deal It's Ben Arthur and Morton Gams Pedersen 1 and 2 You're breaking a pitch side sin Oh he's changed his list He has Ben Arthur first He does not Okay That's a pitch side sin Okay I don't really care Oh he's actually triggered He's actually Oh my god he's actually fuming You're actually rattle Yeah I am rattle He's still rattle He's still rattle He's still rattle So why are you lying to us I fucking did it wrong That is a pitch side sin there He's your favourite footballer of all time He's one of them yeah So why have you put him second I mean he's meant to be first That's why I said first So it was Ronaldinho Just like how you changed your answer In the fucking quiz And I allowed it You didn't allow it cross showing I was in the room I was in the room that's not out until late last week no but I didn't go I've always known a Spotify from Sweden I was guessing and also on this show the one thing we stand by whether it's injuries or anything you never ever ever change a list no I appreciate that but also do you really care about Gams Pedersen Ben Arthur being one and two you clearly do care when you follow up with he's my favourite player of all time this is unfair on the graphics guys so which one is it like Gams Pedersen is first no no no Ben Arthur is first the graphics are already on the screen I don't know why I do like that.
23:40You have to live and die by the list. Yeah, you live and die by your list, mate. That's the, that's what the - All right, fine, Ben Arthur's number one. Oh no. But he's, oh no, but Gavs Pedersen's one of you. He's a pain player of all time, but you put him second. And I believe that you said about Ben Arthur previously as well. You let Morgan down. I wish - You were actually saying that Ben Arthur was shit a few weeks ago. I'm pretty sure you did. He was, he was saying how bad he was. That's exactly my reason. No, he's not. That's not how it works. You're a bit shit. You're a bit shit. No, no.
24:05You said earlier No I didn't No I said I couldn't understand JJ Kotcher is not Streets Won't Forget He is a bit He was unreal Yeah but so was Pi A Yeah I agree with you on that Didn't you put Ben Offren In all time overrated Premier League 11 Who? You What? Didn't you put Ben Offren In all time overrated Premier League 11 Yeah He's still Streets Won't Forget though Like you're saying He was class every week No but You're confusing You're confusing No no no no Like, Mechia had one season. Yeah, so his streets won't forget. If he went on to do that every season, it'd be Harry Kane, wouldn't it? I nearly had John Crue, but he's too good, man.
24:43Like Valencia, Villa, like... Yeah, Gomez is a good one. Because of his celebration. That's what he does. Anyway, let us know in the comments what you think, and if you think Paul Kaczewski's in your list as well. I can't believe you changed your list. How do you not understand what, like, start having Gary Neville? You're saying he's one of the best full-backs of all time? Paul Koncheski Okay then Maybe that's a bad comparison It is a bad Right, moving on End of the clip Steve Finnan Tyrone Mitchell He was great as well Debussy You just said Koncheski was? I'm not saying that I'm trying to compare him to Koncheski Classic I never wondered I said Paul Koncheski was great Paul Brevniak VAR Chenki Yeah, nice Oh, yeah Old baller player There's a lot of Reading ones Tom and I said Paul Koncheski I might think of someone else before He went to baller We don't need to He didn't I was winding him up No, that was It was the same one.
25:33He signed him from Redding, didn't he? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. He was Redding. And they did Fulham sign him? Yes. 1-0 Baker already. For what? I asked for a VAR check and he went, no, no, I was joking. I was warning Theo up saying, you did say Konteski was great when he didn't. And he went, VAR was like, don't actually go through the... Now he's backing his words. The stress of... Yeah, because he's backing his words, Tom. He'll have to stop the recording to do that. Exactly. Post-record, post-record. He just hit him our seizure. You've got HMR seed four weeks in a row here, Tom. Right, moving swiftly on to one of the most controversial things we've ever done in this show, isn't it, Lewis?
26:10No, probably it's not. Pretty controversial. It was pretty controversial. I think I've got all these wrong. I think you putting Trent in midfield is more controversial. No, that was funny. Off storms. People will be severely heartbroken over this, by the way. My club's bigger than yours! I don't think they will because it's... It's well football. Yeah. Also, Theo's referencing when we did the Premier League clubs by size. we're now about to do the 20 biggest clubs in the world we have extensive yeah I know what I was doing here yeah this is tough though it is very hard well there's a lot of teams that are really big is there a right answer from like 10 to 12 yeah yeah right for mine yeah can I go first I don't know it last we'll go first and then we'll see how many we got right yeah okay Tom do you mind if as I went it's a nice ongoing joke well it's not a joke it's not a joke it's our scoring system I'm actually he thinks it's a ticket seriously Shalom, shalom.
27:01You're the right answer. Go on then. See what you got. Okay. Konczewski. Shit, this is nerve-wracking. Don't you change. I'm watching if it's changing. That's me. I'm going to change mine. Fuck it. You definitely don't care. Why would I change this list? I don't get it. It's got Arsenal seconds. Are you trying to pretend that I've changed my list from Arsenal seconds? No, I'm just saying that I'd see Arsenal second. In 20... I wonder who you got in 6-7. Oh, funny you say that. Fucking 31. In 20, I've got Napoli. Yeah. It's alright. Good job. You might have got right answer there. Well done, buddy.

27:3619, I got Benfica. Oh, nice. Two for two. Most successful Portuguese team all the time. Is that true? Yeah. I assume there was. Couldn't handle it at Newcastle. Nice. Nice, man. Okay. In 18, I got Celtic. Oh. Which means in 17, I got Rangers. Oh. Oh, you've just started battle. You've got to play some one or the other. I think Rangers are more successful, aren't they? Oh, yeah. They're more successful. I'm going to be honest. I don't think they are, mate. No, globally, though. I don't. Celtic have won the European club. Celtic are bigger than Rangers. I think Celtic are a bigger club than Rangers.
28:17Yeah, they are. I don't know about that. No, they are. They are. And I will put my foot down saying that. I think Rangers have more domestic, but Celtic have won the European club. You've just made a lot. Southwick also has a bigger stadium. Yeah, yeah, yeah. More major on his overall. Bigger stadium. Rangers mostly. But also remember guys, I am a Rangers legend. I'll be honest, I actually forgot those two, which is bad. Yeah. Sam. Really? Well, I'm not that arsed. I didn't forget one of them. Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of big teams that are missing from my list. You got Newcastle in your list.
28:51Oh, please don't tell me you've got Newcastle. I've then got 16. I've got Dortmund. and 15, I've got Atletico Madrid. Both sort of, I feel like they're both similar clubs, aren't they? They're always like third best. 14, I've got Roma. 13. Fucking hell, really? Yeah. Extremely successful. Are they? Roma, yeah. They're also just like class kits. I think what you've worked out, mate, is you've got a couple wrong. Roma haven't won a league title for like 20 years. Historically as well. How many have they won historically? A good few. At least. And they've got 30 and all that as well. Yeah, I think Napoli are bigger.
29:32Don't you think Napoli are bigger than Roma? Well, because of like Maradona, they won the Liga recently. Yeah, I think they're just a bigger... I don't know, who's bigger? Saying that, Roma in the capital in there. But I don't think Roma are that successful historically, but go on, carry on. Man City in 13. Controversial maybe, who knows. In 12, I got PSG. In 11, I got Ajax. Nice. Yep, and that means we're into the top 10 now guys nice this is horny in 10 I've got Chelsea and in 9 I've got Arsenal at least that's consistent change something in 8 I've got Inter Milan no way Inter Milan bigger than Arsenal and Chelsea no way I think potentially they are
30:18there is no way in hell Inter Milan are more successful European throughout Europe as well They're as big a fan base as either team in the world. Drekham. Chelsea have won two European Cups. Arsenal, they're more successful than Arsenal. Yeah, but Arsenal are way bigger fan base worldwide. Have you known three? Yeah. Do you know what I mean? They've won in a 64, 65, Arsenal and Chelsea are bigger than Inter. Do you not think that? I don't know. I actually am on the other side. Believe it or not. I think it's tighter than you think. I think it's tighter than you think. But maybe it's the Premier League bias of more global fan base.
30:53That is true. We are biased to the Premier League But I think there's a reason We're biased to the Premier League Quite potentially Well in seven I've got AC Milan Six I've got the most Successful Italian team Of all time Juventus And in five I've got Liverpool I asked this Sorry to put in I asked this question On Twitter not long ago Because I've always considered Milan the biggest team Right It's Juventus though From a preference It is Juventus Yeah I think more Because of the European success Yeah But I was told That USA are by far the most supported and obviously the most successful domestically.
31:26And what they did getting relegated to like the fourth here where it was to come back again and just like It wasn't the fourth was it? Was it the fourth or the third? I think just I think just in England it seemed like more hard ties and then they come straight back up with like like Kaka and Weirmore They weren't like minus 30 points weren't they? Fucking hell Savage anyway It's not very beast mode Del Piero Five Liverpool Chopped some balls right there fourth Bayern Munich third Man United second Barca first Real Madrid oh I've got a different list here top two are Barcelona and Real Madrid aren't they see how many gets right at the end boys well it depends how you look I don't think so but each of their own mate okay my list is quite different I've got Man United second I'll just put that out there I don't know I'll ruin your list thank you 20th I have got you right I can't wait for yours 20th I've got Roma 19th Newcastle I'm joking I'm joking they're higher they're way higher Galatasaray bigger than Roma who have you left off if they're in this list can I be honest with you are you doing this can I be honest with you right now what you know the right bigger than Roma I've done a first draft I am this is my first time looking back through the first draft bigger than Roma yeah the fans are a bit crazy bigger than I'll find a batch say bigger than Galatasaray I'll find a batch say bigger than Galatasaray Galatasaray bigger than Galatasaray I'd say I don't know the fans are mental man they're fucking mental so are Roma fans 18th Tottenham I can't believe you didn't have Spurs yeah Spurs no Spurs I'm going to be honest I actually forgot about Spurs I don't think I put him in anyway but realistically like Benfica are a bigger club than Spurs no they're not more successful anyway he's moving on quickly moving on 17th Boca Juniors yeah come on do you know what about Boca Juniors right Love to the...
33:21There's other countries out there than Europe. I almost had Boca Juniors at 20 instead of Napoli because of like... They found Maradona, didn't they, Boca Juniors and stuff like that. They got an incredible... I just guessed. I just needed to put them in somewhere. They are huge in Argentina, but how big are they outside of Argentina? That's unfair because it's like... Is it unfair? I think that's... Yeah, because we're sort of living in our own bubble there. Like, they're huge. Yeah, they are. No, but European football is just the biggest football in the world. I know, but like... No, but look at a live game for Bucs.
33:50Yeah, no, no. I agree. But in their continents, it's huge as well. Like, they don't necessarily... It's got to be pretty fucking big if we talk about it. When was the last trophy they won? Last year. I don't know. I just want to use you to enlighten me. The Maradona Cup.
34:0816th, I've got Napoli. 15th, Atletico Madrid. Oh, my God. He's got them above Atletico Madrid. I don't think he's got Newcastle. I don't think he's got Newcastle. You can't have Newcastle. He's unbiased. He has. 14th I've got Newcastle. What? No way, Lou. What the fuck? I'm joking. I'm joking. He's done it again. He's done it again. I am. Step first. 14th I've got Ajax. Oh, class. 13th I've got Newcastle. No, you haven't. Okay. 12th. You've got Newcastle 13th. I'm joking. I'm joking. 13th I've got Dortmund. 12th I've got Chelsea. Fucking hell. What the hell? Not top 10. 11th have got Arsenal 10th have got PSG What?
34:53They're not bigger than They're not bigger than Arsenal Chelsea are they Champions League What kind of answer is that? Chelsea have won two Okay I was wrong about Chelsea That's so stupid I am wrong about Chelsea I agree You think PSG They're a bigger club than Arsenal Champions League Yeah Biggest club over in France alright then so where Marseille 21st stop tapping yeah but they've won a European club so according to you I know PSG are bigger PSG are bigger one of the best teams in the world I'd argue Marseille are up there with PSG in France you can argue that you can indeed you can definitely argue that but one thing we're certain of they're bigger than Arsenal we're certain where have you swapped them over in the end that's mental just me and Stuart Arsenal weren't in the top 10 if I'm honest 9th Inter 8th Man City keep aware checking not changing the list 8th Man City bigger than Inter we had this we had this discussion before do you think City are they're too successful to deny I'm sorry I am all for trophies on everything you've got City above Chelsea and Arsenal both of them yeah I'm all for I am all for trophies as in everything in this new generation coming off everyone's Man City fans you didn't put City above Arsenal Chelsea in the Premier League one did you yeah well time changes I have no idea I don't think you did you changed your list from a month ago what have City done in the last month don't be mad at me be mad at Arteta what could he have done in the last month he's done nothing wrong won some trophies he could have done what trophy could they have won in the last month fucking the Maradona Cup the Maradona Cup start with the Maradona Cup maybe could have entered it 7th AC Milan 6th Juventus 5th Bayern 4th Liverpool 3rd controversial time Newcastle Barcelona 2nd Man United 1st round Madrid don't know if I should be happy that mine are similar there no I mean like honestly I would love to put Newcastle in here you couldn't have put them in it was trust me I can fight a lot of corners but I can't fight I couldn't fight them I was trying top 5 is sort of unanimous I think number 1 is unanimous as well as in top 5 but just dependent on order how do you judge do you think Bayern Munich I think they're more bigger than Liverpool I think Liverpool are bigger than Bayern yeah is that a Premier League bias we don't like no it's Liverpool that bit very close We do have Premier League bias, but we also have a bias for a reason.
37:19Premier League is the biggest league in the world. It's by far the biggest league. That's why Spurs have to be in this, I think. Yeah, I completely agree. But obviously honours do come into it. But I just think Liverpool, they're the third most successful team in Europe ever, aren't they? Behind Milan and Madrid, I believe. Is that right? Yes, aye. Everyone's six, haven't they? How many Bayern? Like a couple. Bayern are up there. Three, four, five? Yeah, but they're just playing in a shit league. Six, seven? No, he's talking about... Yeah, check that. Check how many... How many Bayern have won five?
37:49So you've got Real Madrid 15, Milan 7, Liverpool and Bayern on 6. Ah, so you've got the same. Barcelona on 5. Who's got more league titles? Liverpool or Bayern? Do you not feel like worldwide fans of Liverpool are bigger than Bayern? I'd say so. Probably, yeah. But then you could say Chelsea are bigger than Bayern. That's because of the popularity of the league. No, no, no. I'm saying specifically just for fandom. That there are more Liverpool fans in the world than Bayern Munich. Yeah, but there's more Chelsea and Arsenal fans than Bayern fans, I think. No, I know that point. But I'm just saying in terms of coming back to the comparison between why Liverpool might be bigger than Liverpool.
38:20Yeah, I'd give it Liverpool. If they're on the same... It's tight, though. Yeah, the top 12 or top 10 is pretty tight. Yeah. Nice little... Bring the lube. How high would you have Newcastle? It's hard to... It's hard to say. Honestly, no. Yeah, it's 21st. No, like... Wait, wait. Not in the... Not in the... Yeah, around 30. there's 10 other teams that I could have had there's a couple of other British teams that would be ahead of East Peet but anyways that's not a debate for today that's pretty embarrassing to be honest you've got bogey in your hand I won't put that off what a nice friend to make that public yeah it's really not me so I'll just like forever that just really just massively just massively just hey I'm not crying you're crying two shows in a row go on then just getting them on across dimensions top 20 actually I'll do mine No, no, no.
39:12No, no, no. No, that was the right answer. They're not, though. No. Well, I had a similar top five to him, so I'll just go. Maybe I have. So mine's similar to yours, actually. Well, don't spoil the answers. We have the right answer, Tom. 20th, I've got Celtic. 19th, Boca Juniors. 18th, Napoli. Boca bigger than Celtic. Come on, now. I can't believe it either. You've got Boca in your top 20, to be honest. I think you've just gone off. Mate. You've been a bit hipster there. Mate, come on. there's more there's more countries in the world you couldn't name three players that have ever played for Boca can I try I think that is relevant can I try Raquel May Maradona and I've got another enjoy that Baron Zingamil Kevin yeah I was going to say Rojo Rojo sorry 18th Napoli 17th Roma 16th Atletico Madrid 15th Spurs 14th I've got Ajax Spurs bigger than Atletico Madrid or Roma?
40:10Yep. They're definitely bigger than Roma. What is this Roma loving? I don't get it. I put them in front of you. It's sexy, isn't it? It's hotly, isn't it? They don't win anything? They did. Did they? Can we find out when was the last time Roma won the trophy? They last won the title in like 2001. Hey. That's pretty smart. And I'm pretty sure that's their only ever Serie A title. They're unveiling a double baller. They've got three Serie A titles. 1942, 1983, 2003-2001. How's that a massive club in Italy? 70 ,000-seater stadium. Which they don't fill and share with Lazio. Great kit. No, I'm sorry.
40:50They've won one European title, which is the Conference League. The Conference League. They don't win anything. They've come runners-up in Serie A 14 times. Fuck me. Shot the Arsenal fan brings that up. Nine Copper Italias. That is not that impressive. Two Super Copper Italiana. No I've already done that one 22 Did I say Ajax? I can't like Tom Spurs agenda Come on now I don't have a Spurs agenda You said you forgot them though Shh Okay unintentionally I think I said Ajax in 14 13th I got Dortmund Who's your 15th? Spurs That's what the argument started at You think Dortmund are bigger than Ajax?
41:26Yeah That's mental Why is that mental? It's fucking mental Why? Ajax have one of the most successful Youth academies in the entire world they are responsible responsible for every great player ever made they are responsible for Pep Guardiola Pep Guardiola oh yeah they are one of the most successful European teams in the history of football yeah and the other Lord Stadium in the world yeah below sea level 12th PSG 11th Manchester City 10th I got Inter Milan 9th I have Arsenal and 8th I have Chelsea 7th you think Chelsea will be Arsenal Yeah we did this On the Premier League Why do you think They're bigger than Arsenal Ever so slightly I didn't think they are And I wanted to be consistent With my previous There's no way You could do that like You can't be doing that like Big fan So you think Chelsea Are bigger than Arsenal Ever so slightly You can't admit Your rivals bigger than you Might change over the next year I do What's going to change The next year Yours is like A bit more disparate We've been in the Premier League Champions League double So that makes us a bigger club Chelsea have won the Premier League And Champions League I know but it's just No no Guys Guys Guys, circle back in here.
42:36So you think if Arsenal win the Premier League and Champions League, they become a bigger club than Chelsea? Even though Chelsea have won both trophies. I think you're a bigger trophy now. I mean, a bigger team now. We're already bigger. It doesn't matter if we win it or not. Chelsea have won the Champions League. Chelsea have won the Premier League. Arsenal won the Premier League. I almost so slightly disagree. And I wanted to keep my answers the same rather than just change my answers. You're fucking pathetic, mate. Right, cool. Calls himself an Arsenal fan. Oh! 7th AC Milan. Six Juventus, five Bayern Munich, four Liverpool, three Barcelona, two Manchester United and one Real Madrid.
43:11So, I'll top five of the same. I just, I think Man United are bigger than Barcelona. What, I just can't get over you thinking. What club football match gets the most viewers worldwide? El Clasico. El Clasico. It's not Liverpool, Man United. Yeah, but that's not what defines how big an individual club is. I think it says a lot. They're not going to be, they're not going to play each other that often are they? That's the whole point. They play each other probably the same amount as Arsenal. Their rivalry is the biggest rivalry in the world. Chelsea-Liver. Their rivalry is the biggest rivalry in the world.
43:39One thing I'm asking, Chelsea. Come on, Theo. I say, Liverpool-Mani United probably play each other the same amount as Real Madrid-Barcelona. Yeah, but Real Madrid-Barcelona is the biggest rivalry in the world. That doesn't mean that one of the clubs is bigger than the other club. Because they're the biggest clubs in the world. Because of the history and everything like that. I think Manchester United is a bigger club than Real Madrid, commercially. Real Madrid? than Barcelona, sorry. I think they're second behind Real Madrid. Fans are wide commercially. It's not a crazy show to say that. It's fucking crazy.
44:10It's not. Did you say that as well? I just think he's a bit crazy more than Chelsea. I just know how you've done that and not felt sick. Fucking hell. That mustache has gone crazy, man. No, because I've done it before on the show and said Chelsea was slightly bigger. I don't think that's true. But if you murder someone once and if you murder someone else you still feel sick all the time. Hey, you learn to grow to love murder. I used to respect you, man. Hey, the Oracle says it's not a bad list. It's not correct, but it's not a bad list. I don't think any of those are correct. Right, boys, get your nupads out.
44:36You have no Spurs and they're obviously top six anyway. Yeah, because I'm a real fan, mate. Fuck Spurs. Yeah, you're such a real fan, aren't you? Yeah, babe. Right, in 20th. Everyone at home, get your nupads out. How do you go? Yeah, yeah. Some of us are the exact same position, by the way. So well done. You did well. Fucking hell, mate. That's good points, that. In 20th, I've got West Bromwich Albion. Yeah. In 19th, I've got Benfica. Yeah. Oh, shit. 18th. Got Villa. Oh! Oh! Oh! You didn't like what you're doing. And we get... Bigger than Celtic and Rangers. That's disgusting as well. 100%. Bigger than Celtic and Rangers?
45:14Oh, yeah. Oh, he's fucking lost the plot, guys. I had forgot about Celtic and Rangers, but I'd probably have them 19th and 20th. They're not bigger than Celtic and Rangers. I think Villa are, yeah. Really? How? Yeah. I think you lot underappreciate how big Villa are. No, no, they are big. And what the... Name why they are bigger. more European success than Rangers same as Celtic obviously the Premier League they're probably the seventh biggest team in the Premier League would you admit? No
45:41you wouldn't you wouldn't admit that I'd agree with that European runs I just think they've got more standing within Europe and in the game no but realistically if this was 20 years ago or the early 2000s I think I'd agree with Celtic Rangers nobody cares about Scottish football anymore that is just a sad fact The level is so poor Nobody cares Like if you look at The early 2000s When it was like Henrik Larsson Or like All those Mark Vaduka All the players Celtic and Rangers had Like fucking Gattuso Or All those players Beating Barcelona Yeah exactly They were having good runs In Europe Now they can't even Qualify for Europe It's like It's pathetic Hearts are going to win the league It's embarrassing That's one season Anyway Do you support Arsenal Villa by any chance?
46:25You sound like a villain 17th What? Villapan I said Villapan 17th I got Napoli 16th I probably should have switched these round 16th I got Dortmund then 15th I got Spurs but I probably should have swapped them round because Dortmund have won the European Cup 14th Ajax oh we're there I got the right answer where do you have Dortmund I got one there ok I got one there why have you got I thought you had Donnarumma in 15 quite low for Ajax yeah I think their history gets them in this but again recently yeah the last 10 years they're put like I know they had the good run under 10 arg in the one Champions League but they're not even dominating their own league anymore they're obviously still the biggest team in Holland but what does that even mean like no one gives a fuck about the Dutch league do they do you know what I mean but again like their history and I've got Atleti just above them in 13th but again I wouldn't argue them swapping around I think the problem with Atleti is obviously I think the reason I rate them so highly is They break the mould?
47:33Yeah, and the fact they're in the same city is the biggest club in the world by far and they still they've still held their own and had good runs in Europe They're smart, yeah They're beast smart Had the new stadium I feel like it's pretty impressive what they've done in the last 20 odd years plus even before that they were like the only other than Valencia I think they were the only team to really ever, if anyone did ever win the league, it would be them. Before they flipped off, they were there to push for top floor, weren't they? Flipped off. Villa Real? For top four, yeah, in 06. Yeah, but they're like, do you know how small that place is?
48:05Oh yeah, no, it's a tiny club, tiny city. Oh, they're after you now. 12th, I've got PSG. Oh, shit. 11th, Inter. I'm doing bad, yeah. 10th, City. 9, Milan. Fuck. Mate, by the way, to go back to Atletico Madrid for your benefit, they've won La Liga 11 times yeah that's what I mean other than the top two they're the only everyone's really a chip in but three European leagues it's Europa Europa League yeah yeah 8th Juve 7th Arsenal that's low for Juve 6th Chelsea 5th Bayern 4th Liverpool 3 United 2 Barca 1 Madrid yeah top two's fine Juventus Juventus is it's their lack of European success 5th Bayern 4th Liverpool 3rd United I got five Damn man that's good Right done mate Yeah Juve's lack of European success Just harms them And I'll be honest If I'd have done this Without asking people Like the other month About Juve-Milan I'd have had Milan higher Because of their European success But I was told 36 Serie A Yeah 15 Coppa Italia Two European Cups Three UEFA Cups Wait Europe Yeah, two Champions League.
49:22That's pretty good. Juve? Yeah. Two European Cups. I thought it was only one. 85 and 96. Of course, 96, yeah. Zidane? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I forgot about that. Juve are fucking huge, man. They are huge. Fucking massive, they are. That's why I've got them the biggest Italian club, but Italian football's dead, unfortunately. Not in the 90s, it weren't. But we're not in the 90s. 30 years ago. Fuck, it moves fast, doesn't it? Let us know your thoughts on this. if there are any clubs that maybe we haven't considered outside of Europe you know Boca Juniors River Plate yeah River Plate see I know I'm biased I just don't think anyone outside of Europe is as big it's just it's just but again we're like you said we're in a bubble we don't really know we are maybe this is a bit naive on my behalf but we don't watch you know Argentina and Brazilian League football over here but will they watch the Premier League over there?
50:15100 % for sure they'll watch the Premier League all their best players play over in Europe I think that's the point and it like... If you're a footballer, say you're from Africa, South America, North America... The end goal is the Premier League. You go into Europe and Premier League. Or Europe. That's what the money is as well. I know for a fact there's going to be people going, Prem bias, Prem bias. But it's true. There is a Prem bias because it's by far the biggest league. And yeah, it might just because of money but it's mainly because everyone watching this watches the Premier League. You all watch it.
50:44So it's the biggest league because everyone watches it. Do you have to think there's a time where we're not and it just falls off? You just can't see it falling off. I think the product's too good, man. The closest you're going to get to La Liga being potentially the biggest was during the Messi-Ronaldo era. But the problem with La Liga is they will never get out the shackles of Barca-Madrid. And I know people throw the argument of United dominated, then City dominated. Okay, fair enough. But going into every Premier League season, usually there's at least three teams you could go. They could win the league.
51:17But not just in the league, though. it's in the domestic trophies as well. Real Madrid and Barcelona dominate them. Yeah. I just think... It's a formality, isn't it? That's why the Italian league is catching up with La Liga at the minute just because of pure competitiveness. Moving swiftly on to a huge game at the weekend, boys. We are streaming it. Huge game. Streaming it. Someone filming us in the window is making us feel uncomfortable. What the fuck's going on? And it is obviously the Arsenal versus the Spurs. The Arsenal versus the Spurs? Yes. It is the Arsenal versus the Spurs? Yes, and it's at the Emirates.
51:50Are you going? No, I'm doing it on live stream. Shock. Working. Where do you go? Go to the derby? Go. I've got to work. We don't have to stream that. What's the last Arsenal game you went to? Biggest game. I haven't been this year. We do. Damn, man. Come on, brother. We do have to do it. It's the biggest game of the year. It's the biggest game of the weekend, isn't it? We do one every weekend. That's what I'm saying. It'll be a fucking ball fest, isn't it? Like, Sky Sports aren't going to cover it because they're watching the game. Probably not. It will. Do you reckon? Yes. It's not been a ball fest in years.
52:15I don't think it's going to be boring. They see one of the most exciting derbies every season. Yeah, that's until you turn into a ramble. We can't this weekend because we've got no Gabriel. No Gabriel, mate. I'm sure you're bringing another centre-half who just fucking heads and kicks it. No, we need to score from open play goals, which is going to be fun. Oh, yeah. Saka's back. He's looking good. Also, potentially a return of Havertz, Martinelli, Odegaard, Jokerez, Madweke, Gabriel Jesus. Yeah, good. so you're a third choice striker now yep um Arsenal shocker res oh yeah shitter res do you know what's funny I didn't realise this you know we're four points clear at the moment and the last international break you know everyone's like see it's getting closer last international break with three points clear at the right well done mate they've actually got further away contrary to what everyone's been saying so you're winning the league we've already won the league should we do the next segment yes we're going to be making our combined Premier League 11 all time Arsenal and Spurs.
53:19He's just done it and done now. You can't change your list. Remember you tried to go and you can't change your list. First up, Lewis is going to go first. He had a whole weekend to do it. He gave us the assignments on Friday. That's really useful given us early by the way. Very useful. Thank you for that. This is Lewis Bowden's all time Arsenal Spurs combined 11. Some of these might This is poor This is poor Shown from you mate Raya Yeah Happy with that Golden glove We don't really have a choice mate You just keep saying No Raya Raya All time Yeah definitely Timber No no He's got loads of There's no real Other right back to use I'm not even joking Timber could actually Literally both of them Absolutely fine And also There is no way You can already put Timber In an all time When he's only had like A season Yeah Four months Fucking hell Definitely, definitely, definitely.
54:14But it's debatable. Who's the centre-half? Well, the best centre-half pair in Arsenal's history is Gabriel and Saliba. Oh, I wouldn't go... Can't say in Arsenal's history. Now, I know this is rogue. I know this is rogue because obviously you've got Ashley Cole in the left back. What? You've got Ashley Cole as the option. Oh, but yeah, of course. But we're going to put Cali Fiore there. Just because I feel like he's going to really come along. Just carry on with your list because you've obviously just done that. So go on. Is it the whole Arsenal team? No. Should be. I've got Zubamendi, Rice and Eze.
54:44Yeah. I've got Saka and Trossard on the wings. And then Richarlison up front. Jesus fucking Christ. The best ever striker to play for both teams is Richarlison. Right, I'll get mine out of the way because I'm not an Arsenal fan. I want to see the Arsenal fans list. Right, if you did Curran. Curran, that is the team. It would be a full Arsenal team, wouldn't it? No. Who are you putting in up front? It would be pretty much. Yeah, it would be. Who are you putting in up front? Yoko. Yeah, quite possibly it would be. I'd have Jocko's over Richarlison or anyone I think it genuinely I think it is the full Arsenal team yeah full Arsenal team I did think what I was doing oh yeah not even the centre asking yeah okay right mine is I've actually gone with Raya have you?
55:28yeah I think there's a lack of goalkeepers in this Seaman? yeah again Seaman was a bit before my time he basically retired when I first started watching football Paul Robinson? no I think Raya's better than Lehman and Robinson yeah definitely I think the one I actually considered was Chesney Petr Cech won a golden glove Chelsea though won it it's a good call yeah I think Raya's brilliant I don't even mind it my back four I went with Kyle Walker I went with Kyle Walker that's a great shot then King and Campbell and Ashley Cole obviously what's the best what availability Tom that's a bit of a myth about Ledley King he just wouldn't train and then just turn up on a weekend and get man of the match.
56:12That's, just because he didn't train. That has on, isn't it? Yeah, like it's... How far out is Gabriel from the selection? He's not far off. You know what I mean? It's not a million miles. No, not at all. If they go in the league this year, it would be them two. It would be, yeah. But I can't not put side of Hamlin. You may as well put him in now. Again, Tony Adams is before my time. I don't feel comfortable. That's actually fair enough, but I can tell you all now, I was born in 1970. Nice. Okay. My midfield is a bit of a hybrid, so just bear with me. Sorry, that Ledley King's career stats. He's done alright.
56:42See, he played a lot more than people give him credit for. Yeah. How many were probably not some appearances? He wouldn't be hardly any. He would just start, wouldn't he? Yeah, yeah. I had 4-0-5 in the full season. What was that? Okay. My midfield, I've gone with... Have I forgotten anyone here? What formation are you playing, Tom? 4-4-2? I've gone 4-4-2. No, like a 4-1-2-1-2. Okay. So I've gone... But I don't know who I'm going to put at the base, maybe Vieira. Yeah. Base! Vieira, Modric, fucking random, Fabregas, then Bale in the 10, because he did play that for one season. Interesting. And then up front, I don't like that at all.
57:23Wait, hang on. Mate, when Bale scored that goal at Norwich, and then Man United away, he's playing in the 10 for Spurs. I know, but like, I know, but like, he's a right one. I don't get what formation this is. It's like a, it's like a 4-1, so I've got like Vieira, narrow. So it's a 4-1-2-1-2, narrow. He's narrow, yeah. Okay, now we're talking FIFA. And then up front, because... Look, Bale can then go and join the front because you'll see, Henry can peel to the left. Yeah. Bale can then join off the right or in the 10 and then Robin Van Persie's going to be down the middle. Oh my God. What? I know, I know what you're thinking, but I prefer Van Persie.
57:54No, I just had a drinker. You forgot about Van Persie? He's forgot about Henry, hasn't he? You haven't had Henry? No, no, don't worry. That can't be right, I know. No, I know many of them have came, but I think... I really thought you'd have... I prefer Van Persie. I don't even know what you're looking at there. Preference, isn't it? Personal preference. Don't worry. You or me, mate? Can I get mine out of my way, please? Go on. I've got Seaman in goal. I've got back four of Lee Dixon, Tony Adams, Sol Campbell, Ashley Cole. I thought you'd put Laurent, mate. I just want to make sure I didn't forget it.
58:26Part of the famous back four of George Graham. You've never watched one game of Lee Dixon. I know how good they are, because they keep getting pegged. Read out your Lee Dixon fact that you wrote down. Obviously, it's part of George Graham's back four. For the all players on his list, he has a fax next to them in case he's questioned. Yeah. What's the Lee Dixon one? He played with Winterburn and Steve Bould. Nigel Winterburn and Steve Bould. Back four as well. And then I've got left back Ashley Cole, best left back of all time. Saul Campbell, one of the best centre backs of all time. Go on, Cameron.
58:55I've got a 4-4-2 here. 4-4-2. Go for fucking two. I've got Bale on the right. Yeah. I've got Vieira with Gascoigne. And I've got Perez on the left. Oh, okay. Yeah. What will? Do you have anything to say? Say it now. You've never watched him play for Spurs ever? Yeah, I have. Why don't we just pick players we've watched? Yeah, you've been... It's all time, mate. Not just from the last 20 years. It's a stinker. Oh, it's always Glenn Oddle. No. Just to warn you, Gascoigne didn't play for Spurs in the Premier League. Yeah. It's the old First Division. Oh, God. Premier League is fine. No, it's Premier League 11, mate.
59:30My team's better than yours. You want to have 10, man? It's an all-time Premier League 11. Premier League 11. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It does say... Yeah. Well, in that case... Are you sure about that, by the way? He won the... We'll have a look. 91 FA Cup, which was before the Premier League. There you go. Oh. He's in Lazio. Well, that was a question. I've got a team of nine players then, boys. Oh, my God. Why nine? Well, because my two strikers... Gary Lineker. Oh, you've even put, like, Alan Smith or someone up there. I forgot about Harry Kane. Oh. Am I the only one winning? I've got a front two of Henri and Lineker.
1:00:02What are we doing here? It says PL11. Both of them won the FA Cup together. Guys, they did come off in the 17th minute, though, in the 91 FA Cup final. Why does nobody read the fucking brief, mate? He's got the full current Arsenal team when you pick Gary Linich. By the way, my team was actually better than his. I'm just going to say it. I saw all-time 11. He was in fucking Japan when the Premier League... In my office, I saw all-time 11. Says Premier League. Yeah, but even so, aren't you just being silly? I forgot about Harry Kane. I said that. I forgot about Harry Kane. What about Van Persie?
1:00:37Or Berkamp? Lineker's better than Van Persie. Berkamp. What do you mean? How do you know? For Barcelona, got eight goals. How do you know if he isn't? How do you know? I'm not saying that. So you don't know if he isn't. Would you say that Dennis Berkamp or Garen Sarr? Lineker's better than Berkamp. Based on what? In a two? With Henri? What's that based on? Dennis Berkamp. Ball knowledge, mate. No, what is that based on? Ball knowledge. It's just because you only watch football for us 30 years, mate. At least I fucking clean up and do research from before. He left the league before he was born.
1:01:06You're equally saying he doesn't deserve to be in. No, I'm not. Without the proof. No, I'm not. I'm saying, based on what we've watched ever in our lives of football, how can you say Lineker was better than But how could you equally say that he isn't? I'm not. Why are you disagreeing with me then? Oh my God. Surely you won Berkham over Lineker. Try to be on bat. No, you really haven't. I haven't proclaimed anything. I'm not saying anything. I'm your argument. No, I'm trying to help. What? I'm trying to help. Why are you helping? Because I think it's funny. I don't need your help I'll just try to be unbiased mate I'm sure there's many I'm sure there's many middle-aged blokes watching this who agree with me read out your Lineker fact also I think most people would agree that Bergkamp was way better than Lineker way better maybe but you didn't really watch Lineker play unlike me obviously after I reckon I've seen more of Lineker play than you have he's got his Lineker fact he went to Spurs after playing for Barcelona he scored 80 in 139 games for Spurs obviously he won the FA Cup final in 91 in the same team as Gaza who unfortunately had to come off injured in the 17th minute.
1:02:04He did his cruciate ligament, actually, really sadly. Right. I love that you've put the packs down for there. Shall I do a recent team? I did not see Premier League. 1980. In my defence. I'm not the biggest L, by the way. Tilly's, Tilly's, Tilly's. All time 11. It says Premier League. We only ever do Premier League. Capital letters. Capital letters. It's the same size. Tiny little letters of capitals. Right. In goal, I've got David Seaman. By the way, I love how, sorry. It's all right. I love how he's done that and in his head he's like, I've cooked. Yeah, yeah. I'll make sure I've got facts just in case they cross.
1:02:38He's trying to be like clever and go out the box and then he's looking more stupid. You can't say no to Bolly Gazza, mate. By the way, Lee Dixon's a fair shout. That is a fair shout. We're not saying any of these aren't fair shouts. We're talking about the players that weren't in the Prem though. Lee Dixon did play in the Prem. Lee Dixon did. What? I'm saying Gazza and Lineker. They're the ones we're arguing. But I didn't know it was a Premier League. I thought it was all time. Stand by Lee Dixon. We're not talking about Lee Dixon. We're not talking about Gaza and Lineker. I'm trying to help you.
1:03:02But even that, it's a bit like, you know, if you're doing all-time 11, you put like Maradona inside. Yeah, fair enough. Because we've all watched Maradona. But would you put Bobby Moore in your all-time England 11? Oh, you've cooked him. You would? Probably not. Oh, yeah. Shut up. No, no, yeah, yeah. Shut up. Probably, because he lifted the fucking World Cup for England. Have you seen a fucking minute of him play apart from the World Cup final? No, you haven't. Probably not, no. There you go, then. So case closed, moving swiftly on. Actually, yeah, I watched the 1970 game against Brazil when Gordon Banks made that save.
1:03:29You're a fucking loser. Oh, mate, you've cooked for me. I'm sorry, I've watched the highlights. You've watched like five minutes. No, I've watched the full game. He's mogging you. You watched the full game? Yeah, when I was... Do you never used to watch old full game? 1970. Yeah. No, I didn't do that personally. Anyways. Don't look at me. Did you not watch 1970 versus Brazil? I'll back you. I think you're winning this argument. Thank you, son. It's because it takes heat off him picking a current 11. I think I'm actually third best team. He's missing two players. you've got nine I've actually won nine out of what somehow somehow yeah and Ashley Cole yeah Walker's Walker's best period was at Man City he was he he he what about Zachary Banya midfield four over Lauren to be fair okay Lauren's an invincible yeah what we're doing Gareth Bale on the right Vieira and Fabregas in the middle and then Kilman Sonneau for the left Henri and Harry Kane up front Son over Perez Yeah I just feel Yeah longevity The amount of goals He's got in the league It is Henri and Kane Up top innit It is Henri and Kane I can't believe You're left out Van Persie Then Harry Kane 100 % You are off your Fucking rocket Do you know what Harry Kane 100 % The goals Everything crazy Do you know If there was a game Tomorrow And you could have Either at their very best Genuinely Hand on heart Who would you pick Be honest Harry Kane I think that's mental Why Robin Van Persie Went I understand I understand your argument but that is such a I understand your argument but the fact that you have to niche it really down to that that's not that niche that is if you have them at the very best football's played over a season it's not when and you can have up to downs of form his best season he's probably better than Harry Kane's best season in terms of what he did when he won that league title for Man United can we put these can we put these do you know what I mean don't you dare talk about that season Harry Kane's best season was what 29 goals I love it adds so much more to the team what did it lead to though what did it lead to Lewis Yeah, no, but he's had top them, didn't he?
1:05:26So? No, he got 30. 30 twice, actually. He got 30 twice. Go on Van Persie. Oh, Stinker from Thomas. I was one goal off. Harry Kane's a better striker than Van Persie. Why? 29-30-30. I honestly think that is. Right, but okay. That's not even like unbiased from Arsenal to Manchester United. Would you not agree? Harry Kane, in big games, has never performed. In big finals or big games for England. He hasn't played in two as many big games as Van Persie, in fairness. Like, Van Persie's played in more big games because of the nature of the clubs he's played for. I'm picking a combined 11, and I want the best 11 players.
1:06:03Van Persie has played in more big games, so you're going to be able to remember big games that he's performed in. I actually don't think he has. He has. With Arsenal at the mass... How many would he have played with Arsenal? He got sent off against Barcelona. Mate, if you're talking about, like, say, finals, you can see how many big games he's played in. Raging! But again, he's... He's by far played in more big games. I will say, if you're taking Van Persie, then you need to take Alex Song. Why? because they can obviously because of that one goal no every goal Van Persie scores I think I personally think Van Persie's one of the most underrated strikers in the Prem history but I think Harry Kane's been one of the bestest ever played in the league I'm not underrated Van Persie I just Kane is one of the best and also I put in Son so Kane alongside him I just think I just I always feel like Harry Kane when you really really need him does go missing I don't know nah I don't know about that I don't know if that's true.
1:06:55Well, we're going to find out this World Cup, aren't we? Can you name a time he didn't? If I'm wrong. Can you name a final he showed up in or a semi-finally showed up in? It's just not too many. But the thing is, how many finals has he actually played in? He's not played in enough, man. Can you name them? Champions League final. League Cup final for Spurs. Now, hang on. Two finals for England. How about the France game? The penalties. I'd love to answer it. So, Champions League final with a Tottenham team. Who are they playing against? Liverpool. And that Tottenham team again. In like a minute.
1:07:24Yeah, exactly. What's that got to do with his performance in the game, though? He could still perform. He was terrible in the game. That's the way the Tottenham played in that match. Lloris, Alderweireld and Vertongh were just passing it to each other. The fact that the Tottenham team got to the finals is pretty impressive. Because it's a different stature of teams that they both played in. He won the Bundesliga top goalscorer last year. And won the league. Once he actually has played in a top tier team, you're seeing a completely different idea. It's an unfair correlation that you've hit. Great argument.
1:07:53How about last season in the Champions League when they really needed him against Inter? Wasn't very good. How about England semi-final against Croatia? How about that? By the way, the thing is though, if we went away and did our research, we could cherry-pick finals that Van Persie's not scored in a couple of years. He scored over 20 goals a season for 12 years straight. No, exactly. Majority of them being over 30 goals a season. Okay, but this is my whole point. See, I feel like he does it when the pressure's off. And he's amazing. Van Persie's only scored in two finals. 2011 League Cup, which they lost.
1:08:21I don't know what's that. He scored in two finals. more than Kane. He's played in how many finals? Look at his fucking trophy coming. He's also, bang on. Look, no, look, let's go through Van Persie's finals. let's have a look. Yeah, no, yeah, 100%. Who dragged United pretty much on his own to win that league title that season? I'm sorry, you dragged Tottenham? To what? It's Spurs. He dragged them to what? No, let's have a look at the finals. So he's only ever scored in two finals and look at all the finals that he's played in. Where, where, where are you looking at all these finals? Well, if you're a runner-up or you've won a trophy, that's a final time.
1:08:55Yeah, but where's it saying all that? Right there. It just clicked off it. Yeah, it did. It literally has all the trophies there, all the finals that he's been in. Yeah. And he scored a two. So your argument... 2001-02, you didn't even play in that game? Harry Kane played in two Euros finals. And did nothing? It's the same as England, really. No, but do you see what I mean about... What if Van Persie did in the World Cup final? No, but the thing is, though, Tom... Say that again. What did Van Persie do in a World Cup final? I can't even remember Yeah, argument's just like Very circumstantial Because it's down to It's down to I don't know if he played He did play He was one of the players Of the tournament that year He scored the final Oh, there he goes He was one of the players Of the tournament In the World Cup When they got to a final Harry Kane's got a golden boot Oh, no, but come on There's one thing for him Okay, no, no, no He's got a golden boot He's dropped 213 goals A huge tournament Harry Kane's been sixth Premier League team of the season Yes You're missing the point Harry Kane's amazing Great golden boot When it doesn't matter, in my opinion.
1:09:52Harry Kane got a 2018 World Cup goal and boot. It's all right, you're going, oh, he only scored in two finals. That's still two more than Kane ever did. He's got a 2018 goal and boot in the World Cup. He's played in far better teams in more finals. Oh, come on now. Do you think the fact that he's... He's still got a goal and boot in the World Cup. Do you think the fact that Van Persie's played in better teams and more finals is at all interesting to the fact that he's scored two more goals in finals than Kane? No, because... No, not at all. So it's not relevant that he's played in a better team and more finals, and that's why he's scored more final goals.
1:10:191 ,000 goals for Bayern Munich. That Arsenal team that Van Persie was in went through a period of not winning. They were like similar to how Spurs were in the mid-2010s. They were a laughing stock. They weren't like that good at all. And then he went to Man United and won them the league after City had just won the title. And Van Persie, without Van Persie that season, there was no way they'd win that league. Harry Kane went to Bayern and the first year didn't even win the fucking league. Showing about, oh, when he's in a better team. Then they also failed In the Champions League When they really needed him Didn't step up Every single big game For England Hasn't stepped up So It's alright going Is it harsh Tommy literally said He's won a golden boot In a major tournament And you're like Yeah but so what Yeah because all the goals Are against Panama If Van Persie had a golden boot You'd be fucking citing that Straight away Yes you would I will say In the 2010 World Cup Van Persie scored one goal Against Cameroon In the whole route Of the final And he got four In the 2014 What if Kane did that?
1:11:18What do you mean? Just to add some... He's won one goal in a round to a final. Got missing. Maybe he had a pool tournament. I don't know. Well, maybe... You were in about 2014. But Tom, I don't find it interesting how easy you're willing to let Van Persie off there with scoring one goal. I'm not letting him off. Let me finish. I'm not letting him off. No, because with Van Persie, you're like, maybe he had a pool tournament where it's Harry Kane. It's all his fault. I didn't say it. Oh my God, I never said that. I'm not saying Van Persie has never not performed and he's always done it in big games.
1:11:49I'm saying he's done it in more than Kane. And I think when it comes to big games and big moments, Van Persie has stepped up way more than Harry Kane ever has for any team. Harry Kane's got more World Cup goals than Van Persie. Van Persie only scored four goals in the region in 2014. And again, we've been over this. There's context to those goals. There's context to the finals as well. What are the context? Better teams? Better teams, more finals? That England team. Stop. No, no, stop. Stop, stop, stop. If you're playing more finals, you can score more goals. The last two England teams that have got to finals are better than the Holland teams.
1:12:22They're better. Tom, Tom, if you're playing more finals, you're more likely to score more goals. But that context doesn't matter to you. But Harry, there's certain contexts around Van Persie. He's played in more finals for his country than Van Persie? No, we're talking... Club football, you're only about the finals, he's scored two more goals in finals. And he's won more. But he's played in more finals. And you're ignoring that context. The more you're playing finals... I'm not even on about just goals. This is the whole point you're missing. Name a final or a big game. Harry Kane has stepped up in.
1:12:50I don't have some memory where I can name the colour of someone's boots in a final. I'd have to actually look at it. But we've just had all these stats that have been brought over and you're like, maybe he had a bad tournament, maybe he's that, maybe he's that. Did you let him off? You literally missed it. Maybe he had a bad tournament. When he scored one goal in the real final. And I'm not saying Van Persie always performs. I'm saying he does it more than Kane. Can you not see it? And has consistently done it more than Kane. Can you see why it's frustrating? So when we brought up Kane winning a golden boot in a major tournament, you brushed that aside, and then we brought up, and then you did.
1:13:19I'm off. Yes, you did. You just said he scored that against whoever. It's a great achievement, but the context of that is he scored half of them against Panama, and also when it really mattered in the biggest games, he was nowhere. But with that trophy, every other team plays shit teams. He still scored more than any other team. He's still pretty all right. But that's always an excuse for him. He was injured, and we know it. He can't go on a golfing shoot. I can tell you that. He always scores in major tournaments. He was shit. He scored one in the last year. He had a very slow start to one of them and then he came in when we needed them.
1:13:50Yeah. He did well in the European one. He really does. Major tournaments for Harry Kane are the top of his best tournament was the 2020 the COVID one. He scored the penalty rebound against Denmark. Got a boot would be the best tournament. Yeah. I think he was better though. He performed better in the 2021 one. He's in his highest goals for in major tournaments. 15 goals in 29 games in major tournaments. That's good, man. 15, 5th behind Ronaldo, Joe, Klerzer, Nuller and Klingsman. The only high-pressure goal he's ever scored is the second against... I'd say the World Cup's pretty high-pressure, though.
1:14:19Oh, fucking hell. Playing against Panama and fucking, like, Senegal is not high-pressure, Theo. It's not. Or fucking Iran. It's not. His biggest goals for England have been the semi-final... No, the quarter-final header against Germany, which he played well in that game. And then even the Denmark game, the semi-final, he missed the penalty and fucking scored the rebound. He scored. But then the France game when we really needed him a penalty he's bread and butter sky's it in big games but I can't believe this is a debate in big games Harry Kane has never really done it I don't think it's enough to put him over I don't necessarily like that penalty is a huge thing but I don't think That's completely fair and the argument I'm not saying Van Persie always does it in big games and it's definite I just prefer Van Persie I think I prefer him as a player and I think if I had a game tomorrow and I needed to rely on someone I'd much rather trust Van Persie over Kane because he's been there and done it.
1:15:13I'd pick Kane just because of what he can bring in other areas of the pitch as well. Kane might not be the one getting the final chance, but he has the ability to drop deep and create something and then not be part of the final product. And that's something that... I don't want Harry Kane doing that because he's a goal scorer. But sometimes, if you're in a desperate position, if he's struggling to be effective at the top of the pitch, it's not game over for him. He can drop into a different position and then pick it up there. You know what I mean? If he's not getting chances, he can do something else.
1:15:39But that's where he frustrates me for England. I don't need you doing that Harry go and fucking stay in the box where we need you do you know what I mean didn't he score in the semi-final against Holland who scored a penalty yeah yeah so he's done it in a semi-final of the Euros Denmark yeah then he got taken off he was injured he was terrible that whole tournament you can't use the last tournament I think he scored against Rams I think his best tournament was the Covid one I think that was his best one in terms of performance and he did score a couple of important goals and I'm not trying to diminish Harry Kane Germany, Ukraine, Denmark and the Euros but it is a well known it's accepted by pretty much everyone.
1:16:11Harry Kane has never done it. I think an interesting point is though, say Van Persie's finished his career, so we have a full look. Harry Kane could easily have his best tournament coming up right now. He is arguably playing his best ever football. I hope he does. If Bayern win a Champions League, he could win a battle. So these arguments are normally weighted towards the person who's completed the career because you have more backlog to go off. Yeah, definitely. But how old's Harry Kane now? Like 31? 32? I think older than that, Lee. 33? He's not young. He's 32. Yeah, he's... Look, if he... Hopefully he goes and wins a fucking Champions League or fucking World Cup with us, but...
1:16:46If he's buying a plan, he might. I just think... I think if people were honest with themselves, do you trust him? Yeah. I do. Yeah. I don't. I do. I do. Yeah. Yeah, I do. I think he's just ridiculous. I think you have to. But he's never been ridiculous in a big game. Doesn't that worry you slightly that he's never ever, like, just stepped up in a massive game? I would trust him under this Tuchel. Just a misstitial team. Fair enough. He's experienced the worst of it as he missed that penalty. So that makes me trust them all. It can't get worse than that penalty. Well, that is true. He obviously missed the penalty and then had the one against Holland and scored.
1:17:23Like for me, that penalty miss, he'll... He's a workhorse. You reasonably put him in your team for an all-time thing over Van Persie. Van Persie's class. Yeah, I agree. Harry Kane scored about 1 ,000 fucking goals, mate. He's got 213 and 317. He only scores minimum of 25 goals a season. Of course, but do you not think it matters when it's weighted to something and there's means? I think you're saying that for the finals. No, no, no. In the Premier League season, they are going to matter. This is like the argument of Yikarez, you know what I mean? It's like, do it against all these teams. The Premier League's goals still matter.
1:18:00No, that's my point. I know you mean the finals still. No, no, no. If Yikarez scores 10 goals this season all against the bottom three, but it helps Arsenal win a league, then it matters. That is more important to me than 20 goals for the team that come fifth. We helped Bayern win the league last year. I know you're missing... Probably got more goals in the game, didn't you, probably, I reckon. But the thing with Kane is he could have scored all those goals at a team who were a bit more on contention. We don't know that, though. But looking at how he's done for Spurs, you can't really look. Looking at why Spurs didn't do better in that period, no one can point your finger at Kane because of how consistent and ruthless he is.
1:18:33Do you know what his left that is? Yeah, but they had chances to win things, get into finals and do like and they come score down Lewis they famously come third in a two-walls race but you know what Kane's let down this Tom though to be an advocate of the opposite of your point or whatever it is is that Man Percy played for Arsenal Man United Man United win the Premier League Kane had opportunities to leave but he was too loyal he's just left for good to buy him yeah outside the Premier League but he could have gone to a club like a Chelsea or a Man United to be pushing for trophies do you know what I mean pushing for more Premier League trophies whereas in Tottenham didn't really get the opportunity to win a trophy are you joking what are you on about they got to a Champions League following then they're in two title races what are you on about compared to like a Man United or a Man City or a Chelsea who will be continuously pushing for trophies and then he's failed then and then he's literally left Spurs to go to a club that dominate what are you on about there Van Persie played at these clubs during the Premier League who are pushing for trophies constantly Arsenal weren't Arsenal weren't that good when Van Persie was there yeah because he was half the reason they won them that's my point then he gets to Man United first season and wins in the title after they'd just been dethroned by City.
1:19:37That's the whole argument. It is, it is. And that season, and by the way, that season, Van Persie, the amount of fucking massive teams he scored against home and away and important games, important late goals for United to basically carry them to a Premier League title, all I think holds more weight than just scoring 30 goals for Spurs who come four. I know, but like, it has to pay for some light. If we look at, it is night and day with like the turn, like... Oh, he's a far better goal scorer than Van Persie, I'm not denying that. Not when it matters He's not though It always matters It doesn't I feel like You have many points Where you can pull on Kane In finals Not happening But I don't put that down To him not showing up I just think Those are Unfortunate things I don't think That defines him As a player I think he goes To that game And he doesn't Play scared He's had rough games On those instances It's the same point About Salah So he can't like just because he does it consistently but maybe doesn't do it all in the big finals what it just makes him a left footer.
1:20:37It's not just finals though is it? It's like big league games or big Champions League games. Salah has done it and performed. He had like a season of his... Even when Spurs have that run. He does it in big league games. Yeah, Ken's in it. What he does? He scores against Arsenal fucking every week when we played him. He scored against the best team team. I'm not missing the point. I've just shown you a correct example of Salah and then you've said I'm missing the point. I meant big Premier League games that like help win the fucking title for Liverpool. Salah turns up in or big away games. Of course, Kane has performed in games or big games.
1:21:08I'm on about the upper echelons of results that win you things. Because there is a level of players who like, great, great players, and then ones who actually take you to that next step of actually winning, which Kane has always failed to do, hasn't he? He just has. Other than probably last season for Bayern was amazing, scored all the goals and helped them win the title. That's the first time he's... The difference is that Salah had all these great players around him for Liverpool, whereas Kane had son that's it do you know what I mean do you not think that's fair guys I completely agree but I mean Kane did do it in big Premier League games consistently yeah I mean I feel like because what I mean I went on Google and pulled up him scoring in a 1-0 against Man City in like 2023 yeah but again you're missing the point it led to fuck all yeah but no but in the context of that it's not that big of a game in the context of that moment it is a big game Someone can't bring up a big game to go against your point.
1:22:03In the context of that one, because they didn't win a trophy that year. Yeah, because that's my argument. He has to lead to something or hold weight to something. In the context of that game at that time, that meant something. Okay, fair enough. Well, it did. Because they didn't know the outcome. Every goal he scored in the World Cup, then, means nothing. No, I didn't say that. Again, you take one thing I'm saying and go the complete extreme. I'm not saying none of his goals matter. and I'm saying I'm not denying Kane's ability and goal scoring like record it's insane but when when it's mattered the most the very most throughout his career he hasn't performed that's just an unfortunate fact whether you want to admit that or not he just hasn't but we're not on about Salah I would probably agree with Salah Salah doesn't do it in finals either but we're not that isn't the point but he's still taking Salah Salah still scored Salah still scored in a Champions League final and helped his team win the Champions League so I actually I think he's got that one over but we're not on about him we're not on about Harry Kane you can't just bring up other players no just use it as an example but it's not about it's not a good example because I'm not denying that we're talking about Kane but I'll show you another example of the player who doesn't really show up in finals but is still considered one of the best of all time that's funny Harry Kane is one of the best forwards of all time in the Premier League I've never denied that he's amazing my original question was who would you want who would you really want tomorrow if you're back against the wall.
1:23:31I personally would take Robbie Van Persie because I think he'd show up more. Well, we're going to go around. My point still remains in, I think, it matters of what team you play on and how many finals you're playing. You've got points where you can point out Kane has done this and that and not done it in the final, but I feel like if you put... If Kane has more opportunity in finals, you're going to see him show what he's actually like as a player more often. I think it's just more unfortunate circumstances. That's the frequency of being there. Yeah, he's not been there often enough. Anyway, let us know what your combined Arsenal and Tottenham XI is, guys.
1:24:07In finals, I remember that. Any names that we could have suggested? What was this list again? Arsenal, Tottenham. We mentioned like Bergkamp. Yeah, we've done it all. Bergkamp. Calafiore. Always between Bergkamp and Van Persu, to be honest. Roberto Silva? No. Petit? No. Petit? You never watched him play, Theo? What are we doing? In the early 2000s? Yeah, where am I? You never watched... Oh, what am I fucking Stone Island jacket, mate? He was playing for Chelsea then, so what are you on about? What am I, Stone Island jacket? He's still playing in the Premier League, mate. Okay. When you started watching the Premier League, mate, he was at fucking Chelsea, so...
1:24:44Oh, was he in Chelsea in 1996 when I started playing and watching Premier League football? Oh, when you were born. Yeah, when you were born. Yeah, when I came out the fucking womb. Good lads, good lads. Is there scope for players like Rice to be there eventually? eventually you don't think eventually yeah 100 % oh eventually yeah sorry yeah yeah I thought you said that anyone from the current system yeah alright well hopefully you enjoyed that one guys bit of a hated one had to make it tasty in the end didn't it just getting boring yeah prediction show will be out at one point your head was well and truly good you were like on your feet like this yeah because I hate I hate when you I hate when you stop I hate I really hate when you take one point and just go like the extreme are you doing exactly the same Tom I don't I really don't I actually listen to your points Lewis will say an example and counter-argument your point and you say stuff like oh it's not relevant you do because you're missing my point no but you're missing you're missing my point shall we wrap it up Lewis will listen to your point say something and then Lou will say his point and you shut it down I don't shut it down I've accepted all of his points and then you do that come on come on come on I've made a very I've made it very clear I understand his points.
1:25:58Why are you fucking me? I just don't agree with him. You didn't miss my points. Don't record predictions. Guys, they still have to record predictions. I'm here trying to fucking... So your predictions show on Friday might be a little delayed because we're still going round and round and arguing over there before finishing the show. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
