In short
The episode of Pitchside (Reev, Thea Baker, Tom Garratt) debates who’s “world class” in the Premier League and argues about how fair the Club World Cup is as a measure of team strength. They focus heavily on Chelsea’s Club World Cup win over PSG, highlighting Cole Palmer’s impact (including goals from the right/left attacking overloads) and João Pedro’s role in the match. They also discuss Luis Enrique’s sideline altercation with João Pedro, plus other on-pitch tensions (João Neves/Cucureia red, Donnarumma’s box agitation) and the idea that January signings are unusual because the tournament runs during the transfer window.
Guests
No external guests are present; it’s a three-host panel (Reev, Thea Baker, Tom Garratt).
Key claims
Chelsea’s performance proves they can dismantle top sides, but PSG may have been under par/one game too many. The Club World Cup isn’t a full “season reflection” until next year. They then rank the greatest club sides since 1992, naming eras like Barcelona 08-12, Real Madrid 16-18, Man City 17-18, Bayern treble periods, and multiple Milan/United/Juventus teams. Notable examples include PSG’s “quadruple” season, Man City centurions, and Arsenal’s Invincibles being debated.

And if you want more Pitchside, catch us on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram where you can find us by typing in Pitchside. Let's get into it. Hey, what's up, everyone? I have two names to put on your radar. Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro. Wow, I'm sure they're not on anyone's radar. I'll tell you so. Who knew that the best thing to happen to Chelsea Football Club this summer was Nicholas Jackson getting a red card? Who knew?
0:37Reev:As resident Club World Cup viewer and avid watcher of Chelsea and lover of Chelsea. And advocate of Cole Palmer. And advocate of Cole Palmer. How the hell did they destroy and dismantle PSG? I don't know. Do you know what? Fair play to Morescu. His game plan was bang on. He's going to get fired though. Yeah, before great. I forgot about that, actually. Yeah, he was. Oh, mate, yeah, it was embarrassing. I think I'm guessing we all watched it Did we all watch it? Yeah I missed like The best first 20 minutes of it They really attacked The left hand side of PSG Didn't they? Like overloaded it massively Which I don't think Mendes could handle But ironically Got one on one He's brilliant isn't he?
1:13But I think The overload of players He got bodied on that first goal
1:16Reev:Palmer's second goal Came from the right hand side Ironically though Didn't it? That is their left hand side What you want about? That's their Literally
1:28Reev:I think both of them kind of came from that side. The first one I got back to. Why do we bother trying to analyze games when these idiots are over there? You can't teach that kind of punitory, guys. You just can't. I'm going to have my hands up there. No, you can't be getting out-muscled like that by Gio Pedro sat down for the first one. He's a big boy, mate. He's a stockier guy than you think, mate. I know, but he's got so much orbit space. Don't take that risk, then, if you're going to get bodied. Do you know what I think, though? Oh fucking hell Lewis Enrique You're talking to A left back here guys You know I think Since leaving Brighton He just looks like A different footballer Well he's played like He was great He was great at Brighton But he's around Better players now No I know But he just looks More lively now For some reason Like he just looks I can't describe it Well you mean he's Scoring open play goals Is that what you're about Yes It's not penalties anymore I don't know how You get that from He scored like He genuinely scored like 10 penalties last year 50 % of his goals No 60 % of his goals Last year were penalties 60 % of the time The time works every time Can I ask you Because I was getting A bit of jib and jibe On the Twitters yesterday About this On the Twitters What are you a fucking boomer And I don't Like he's playing class And this isn't me Being bitter about I'm not going Sounds like you're about To sound really bitter He's been class But do you not think It's weird that He can sign mid-tournament And then play And make a massive Is that not a bit weird No The Club World Cup People were comparing it to like Champions League that's what the January transfer window is like that's a season long tournament obviously you're going to sign players but this is more comparable to a World Cup which is obviously international but it's on during the transfer window yeah it's I just think you should only have a squad registration at the start because imagine you just get halfway through like Chelsea did it's like fucking hell we might win this let's invest what do you think the January transfer window does yeah yes but that's different because it's over an entire season this is only comparable to like the Euros and World Cup it's sort of like you should have your squad look what Man City did in January well this is They just bought in a bunch of players and started getting better again.
3:24Reev:You're also describing a problem to a thing that only happens like once every four years. I just think, well, yeah, no, but it did pay a bit. He has been so impactful, obviously. So if I was like... Yeah, he's paid his money back. You could also argue the other way that Madweki's left and they missed out on having Madweki. Yeah, you didn't think of that one, did you, mate? It's a little silver lining. I mean, not a silver lining. It's a hole in this tournament, I think. The opposite of a silver lining there, really. You're the only person. I've seen Moana. Because I just think it's weird that like, okay, as my team we can earn money from winning these games and get to the semi-final then I can spend this money mid-tournament to sign a player that wins me the final it's like it doesn't I don't think that's fair he also came just off the beach like with no preparation and just it's not like they had some massive advantage like he was mid-season and he was all pumped up for a pre-season tournament I just think it's more even play no not really I just don't really understand the issue with you Liam that looked sharp when he came on by the way that's a fucking unreal save from Donnarumma you see it mate I tell you played well fucking Sanchez played well yesterday yeah he was his best game Do they need a keeper now again?
4:23Reev:Yeah, they definitely do. Okay. That just might have just like... He did play really well yesterday, but... I have a question to ask, because obviously... Oh my God. Two people here are notoriously Chelsea backers. Do they win the league, guys? No. Am I a Chelsea backer? You said they win the league at Christmas. I'm just anti-Arsenal. I didn't think the team did win the league. This is the thing, and I was wondering, you have watched more this tournament, especially Tom, than me. Is this tournament a fair reflection on the teams, or is it like... We don't know. Do you know what I mean? I don't think Chelsea are better than PSG, although they spanked them.
4:56But like, is this tournament the Champions League level, although Champions League teams are in it? I think the teams did try it because of the money. Yeah, they wanted to win. They tried, but I think it to some extent...
5:05Reev:Aren't Halal better than Manchester City? Anything happens in tournament football, right? We all know that. Anyone can beat anyone. Also, all the teams wanted to win for the money. So they would have fielded their best team. they wanted to win this so I think it is you could say it is a fair reflection but you're not getting the teams out the best though he's talking about the upcoming season do we think Chelsea it's a fair reflection in tournament football for a season there's so many fair I think you're getting the players at the end of a long season and it's not got the prestige of other tournaments yet because it's new they get a badge for the next four years so clearly the badge is ugly though I think you're underplaying as seriously as they did take it but what I will say is it's a long old season for PSG and the weather I think Basically, we don't know how fair this tournament is until we've seen next season.
5:55Reev:PSG may drop off, but Inter struggled. You say it was a long, hard season for PSG, and don't get me wrong, it was. But during the Club World Cup, they beat, I've got it here, they beat Romandred 4-0, Bayern 2-0, Inter-Miami 4-0, Seattle Sounders 2-0. They lost to Butterfogo. They beat Atletico Madrid 4-0. They beat Inter 5-0 in the Champions League final. In the French League. How far back are we going? My point is they're battering sides They don't just beat sides They batter sides So for Chelsea to come in and just turn them over I think it has to Chelsea were excellent But PSG were definitely under par yesterday They weren't themselves But that was probably credit to Chelsea But you have got to factor in possibly It was just one game too many for PSG And the heat They went 2-0 down pretty early And it's a bit of a slog to get back When Chelsea were just on them from the get-go, aren't they?
6:48But Chelsea lost to fucking Flamengo earlier. No one was saying they were going to win the league then. So it is like you say, I almost chose a testament to how good PSG are though.
6:57Reev:So to beat PSG like that, everyone's now being like, fucking hell, Chelsea must be that. But like we say, not always the best team wins tournaments. I think PSG are definitely the best team in the world. But I can't believe Madrid got to the 7-inch because they're shit. Real Madrid are shocking. Is João Pedro going to break the number nine curse at Chelsea? In terms of what? What's your expectations for that? 20 goals. is he going to play enough? is he going to start that weekend Jackson leaving looks good man he'd look very good they'd fight for minutes really that's what you were using on that for Pedro but I just can't imagine he'll start most games yeah it's tough with their front line surely they it's a good problem for Chelsea though if you look maybe one of the issues of their number 9 is like I know Jackson played a lot of games last year but they never for a long time they haven't had this is your number 9 he stays there's always a lot of rotation do you think Pedro could be the answer?
7:46Reev:Could he If Mareskos goes Look I don't think historically That's even fair though Because like the number nine curse Is because there Has always been a number nine That has underperformed If you're trying to say That he's going to Yeah now they are Who would you start I think it depends who you play Yeah So you would still be like Rotating frequently You wouldn't just have No I'd run the lapping games Like away at C3 But Tom do you not think That's the problem You know like Newcastle Doesn't matter who they play They're always going to play Isaac Yeah but he's actually on a different level to those, isn't he?
8:17He's act doesn't matter who you play or what style you play. I think Pedro will be better when you've got to break teams down. The lap is better on the break. A bit more muscle. Are you not surprised Arsenal's not looked at him? Because it was very much like it was only really Newcastle and Chelsea who wanted Gio Pedro. He's not an out-and-out nine though, is he? Yeah. But I think the rest of them might use him. Yeah, you're filling the hole with a problem. For Chelsea, I think it's a good signing. I think him and De Lappe are two great options. but if Arsenal would have signed Pedro it would have been yet again well we haven't got a nine it would have been like they had to just go and get an out and out nine which looks like they're finally going to get we'll see if it ever crosses the line
8:55Reev:of what's going on well speaking of what did you think of the altercation between him and Luis Enrique oh yeah I didn't see much I loved it I loved it who was it between I don't know what it was over I don't know there were being there were being but that's what I thought he was about it's fucking class it was a bit shit and João Pedro jumped to the floor, but like, it was mint. Having like, that makes me actually care about the tournament when I can see that they're fucking pissed off about it. It is a manager versus a player. Who fucking cares? Alan Pardew, headbutting the fucking whole player.
9:24It was mint. Everyone knows it was mint.
9:26Reev:That wasn't the only tassel in that game. João Neves on Cucureia. Yeah, class. Overturned to a red. I think they forget they're on camera sometimes. Yeah, yeah. I do think, what's he doing? I don't know. That happens to him so often as well. Like, just cut the hair. You know, he does it to get red cards. João Neves, important player. What will he, That's a very good question. I don't know. Can you Google that? What would you get banned? You're going to ban for the next game in four years. Yeah, does it carry over? I wonder if what... I think it does just carry over to the league, no? Further punishment.
9:55Reev:Except for extended ban. We just pulled it there a bit. Is it just the start of the season for the league? I don't know. Surely it would be in Europe, no? No, but FIFA's different to UEFA, though. That's the problem. It's not European football. It was against the world. He's banned for the next World Cup opener. Nah, it was tasty at the end of the game. There were just people trying to bash into each other's class. It was getting a bit testy towards the end. I think he's sly tackled on Nkunku at the end. Donnarumma was giving it loads in the box. Yeah. He conceded three, didn't he? He's a bit pissed off.
10:28Reev:There's nothing come out about his ban then? One month ban, but what, from all games? No, that's Enrique. Enrique. What do you think? Let's talk about Cole Palmer though, because how good was he? Yeah, he's fast, mate. Is he back? He's been good all tournament, to be fair to him. He just steps up in big games, doesn't he, consistently. He was good at this time last year as well. Yeah, he was. Come off the bench, didn't he? Did you see the photo of him and Dembele? Yeah, on the top of... Is that real? Oh my God. Yeah, that's a real photo. No, but is it real? Obviously, it's not fucking real, is it?
11:00No, it could be real. What they've got on a fucking steel beam at the top of the world, whatever it's called. At the top of the world. What's it called? No, that's right. They're real people in the picture,
11:11Reev:but it's not... Yeah, they're obviously just in a room somewhere, sat down. Don't look green screen to me. Wait, what picture is this? Please look at what he's asking. Rockefeller Center. It's on the... Top of the Rockefeller Center. There it is, look. No, it's real, mate. Is that real? It is real because you're an idiot. I think it is, you know. Because that thing is literally... It looks like it's above it, but it's actually just over the top of it, Tom. That'll be a photo op. It's real. Oh! Oh my God. My mum and dad have done it. Go back to the first photo. Yeah, I swear. Of course the photo is not real.
11:46They are not hanging on a fucking steel. I thought he was on a harness, you know.
11:52Reev:No, there are no. You sit on it and it rises up. My parents have done it. Yeah, but he's sat locked in on the back. Look at you. You think, no, he's not fucking real. No, the photo you were asking about. Yeah, no, he's - Hang on, hang on. If you knew that, why didn't you say, my mom and dad have done that? It's because I wanted to get you out of the pants. He got you. See? Well, it's real, you can see. Yeah, that's - But they're obviously - Oh, no! Yeah, obviously it's real. Yeah, I was seeing that at the end. Oh, it's not a harness, it's just a seat. I thought they were locked in. I thought they were locked in the thing, just in case they fell.
12:21No, you can stop trying to claim a victory here. No, I'm not trying to claim a victory. I had your pants down, say sorry. I thought they were going to just be in a room somewhere. Yeah, I've seen Colt Palmer get raised up from that. The photo of the way it's pictured is like they're actually like on top of the fucking Rockefeller.
12:37Reev:Sorry, I thought that thing in the back was a harness. Turns out it's just a seat. There you go. Why is there two randomers with him? Yay, spinning round! Also, why is Palmer in boots? Well, they both were. In booty boots. Fuck it. They're going to wear fucking Birkenstock. Congratulations to Donald Trump as well for winning the Club World Cup. Is he re-shamed her? Are you going to stay for it or what? and he goes man that was so uncomfortable Palmer's in the background going to read stream he's like don't move you gotta rate it though do you it's so weird you gotta think about it Trump's just being genuine and down to earth he wants to get on yeah unpopular opinion right I think Donald Trump might be a bit of a dickhead wow how'd you figure that one out unpopular it's just a bit it's just it's so awkward that though like imagine being that awkward where it's like no I'm staying for this no that is kind of funny though was it 84 mil I thought we established it was higher before who is that not true or is it euros For winning it?
13:26Reev:Yeah, wasn't it? They've earned like 200 mil throughout the whole tournament, no? No, surely that's total prize money. Is he doing that thing again? Probably 1 billion from the tournament. Okay, yeah, that makes sense, yeah. Oh, yeah, it's 3.3 million for Auckland. Scroll up, scroll up. No, no, no, we want to see... Scroll up, 84 mil. I thought it was over 100. But they've earned... Who knows? Participation fee, 21 million, and then 62 and 4 prize money. Football's too much of our money, y 'all, I'm talking about FFP, you know, and it's shit. You're a new car. I know a bit of annoying, I know it applies to...
13:56It's just annoying, though. It's so much better when people just do whatever. It's flummin' AZ, 50 million. That's big for them. We're all becoming like fucking business graduates now. But you've now said you've got the best front three in world football because Langer signed for your club. I think we have the scariest front three, yeah.
14:12Reev:Scary. The fastest. Well, look, either way, I would say that the club World Cup had some good teams in it. Wouldn't you, lads? Yeah, I agree. Yeah. Some maybe top 10 best teams ever in the tournament perhaps. I wouldn't go that far. Wouldn't say that not. Interesting. Well, lads. Post 1992, let's just mention that, mate. Yeah, we're going to be ranking our top 10 greatest club sides ever since 1992. When the Champions League. Which apparently is our lifetime, but actually it's only Reeves' lifetime. I'm actually not old enough for that, mate. I'm 94. Yeah, I've gone past that. I haven't put any teams in the 90s.
14:49I've got, I think, one side. I've got two sides in the 90s. Just because I feel like a fraud.
14:53Reev:Yeah. I got two sides in the night. Only because one I know a lot about and one who is almost like a dream team. I am a fraud, so I'll put them in. Right, who wants to go first then? Okay, I will. So Reeve, would you like to preface how you've done it compared to everyone else? I did small eras of clubs because obviously like... Oh, I haven't done singular years either. Oh, have you not? Yeah. That's what it was. Because obviously... Because some teams have been the same for a couple of years. I agree. So for the unanimous first, I imagine would be it's going to be from certain year to about three.
15:23Reev:I've done, I've got like, for example, I've got two of those teams in. Yeah. All of them have, there are notable player differences in there. And like, some of them are like, they're like a two year period. That's how I've done it anyway. Well, we're all, we're all correct anyways. Put two together. In 10, in 10, I find this quite interesting. In 10, I got United 07-08. This is obviously Prem, Champions League, Community Shield, Ronaldo Rooney. It was just like a, You say the Community Shield, you're such an Arsenal fan. I was going to let him go What's wrong with the Community Shield? No, that's true It's a big trophy To be fair, Pep Guardiola pulled them up Saying we won the Community Shield last year He's claiming that he's still always won the trophy To be fair Isn't it called the English Super Cup On foreign websites?
16:09Reev:Is it? Is it really? What foreign websites are you going on? Well, Transfer Market calls it the English Super Cup In nine, I've got the Chelsea 0405 not just for what they did in the league, obviously 15 goals that John Terry scored that year. They won the Prem, obviously, League Cup and they got to the Champions League semi-finals. So I think you've got to look at the broader picture. Yeah, I see what you've done actually. You've done singular seasons. Yeah. Okay, all right. Could have had them the next year as well because I went back to back, didn't I? There's a few teams you could have like a couple of years in a row.
16:40Reev:A, I've actually got PSG from this year. Yeah. Quadruple. You can't take away the quadruple. They almost won the quintuple. It's in the French League though. They won the Champions League. They battered all of Europe. I know, but... They literally battered everyone. I know, but they have... Except Chelsea. They just lost to Chelsea in the Club World Cup. Yeah, but look... That's harsh to pin that on them. Luke, they've won a quadruple. You can't just say it's a French league. By the way, even if you say that they lost that, they still got to a final of that. I might have, like... I think that's...
17:08Underplayers Chelsea's season. What?
17:09Reev:What are you bringing Chelsea into it? I don't get it. Because Chelsea have been lost. You need to look... If you look at this PSG side in 10 years, you're going to think, fucking hell. They've won four... almost five trophies in this season. You can't say almost five. They won four. But they destroyed almost five. They destroyed everyone in the Champions League. In the knockout stage. Yep. Not the group stage. We can nitpick every single one. Seven, I've got City, 17, 18, Centurions. Six, I've got United trouble winners, 99, 98. Obviously, this was when I was two years old, but we all know about them.
17:45Reev:Five, I've got AC Milan of 93, 94, trouble winners. Maldini, Beresi, Van Basten, Papi, Desailly. I wanted to put, I would like to just do an honourable mention, but they actually didn't win a lot. You know the Milan 0-4, 0-5 side? Yeah, because you're doing individual years. Can I read, boys? Whereas the period, if you were to do a period, then yeah. Can I read you this starting 11? Yeah, it's insane. Yeah, we know. The fact that Liverpool No, no, but can I read it? Because it's fucking great. This is actually like, the fact that... Yeah, we know. No, but it's sick to read. Can we read it? Ingold Deida a back four of Cafu Yapstam Nesta Maldini midfield three of Sadov Perlo Gattuso Kaka in behind Crespo and Shevchenko damn how did they not win that final how did they not win it I don't know four I got City treble winners 22-23 yeah three I've got Real Madrid 16-17 La Liga Champions League Club World Cup okay and the Super Cup that was obviously you know Bale Ramos all that lot and that was an era like you said Carry on then Carry on And then I've got 2010-11 Barcelona Trouble winners Okay I see what you've done here In two Which was The slight different Notable players Like Villa Xavi Iniesta Busquets Pique Mascherano And then At one I've got 08-09 Trouble winners Barcelona And they had Yaya Torre Instead of Busquets They had Henri Eto 'o Messi Xavi Iniesta So I've got Barcelona Barcelona too Yeah Wait which one have you put one?
19:11Reev:I put 08-09 08-09 at number one That's not better than the other one Okay well It's my opinion You have no Arsenal Invincibles In your list Should I No yeah I don't think They are top 10 I think 08 or 09 I think they are Really Ever The reason why I didn't put the Invincibles in And I put Invincibles Over the Chelsea team In the Premier League Is because I looked at it As a whole Not just Premier League That's interesting But Okay I didn't expect that from you Because you had Arsenal I feel like When we did the Premier League You had to look at What they won outside Of the Premier League as well I feel like yours is going to be Like Arsenal in knockouts Probably a bit more Controversial than mine so shall I go next yeah go for it alright cool 10 I've got Inter Milan the 0-9-10 period I could have done extra but like Milito yeah Milito 9 PSG quadruple 8 Bayern Munich 12-14 Robben Ribéry I've got Bayern as well they win one Champions League then they were so good they won a treble didn't they yeah Man United 98-99 next in 7 I've got Juventus in 6 94-98 Zidane Del Piero Champions League under their belt as well 5th I actually have them higher than you but why else did they win?
20:17Reev:Three Italian Serie A's like two yeah yeah yeah they crushed all of you've done eras yeah haven't you it's different yeah five I've gone United 06 to 09 which is the Rooney Tevez Ronaldo era four basically just the entire Pep era of Man City so like 18 to 23 really three I have the Milan 91 to 96 so like you say Maldini sorry Hullet Van Basten era and then two Madrid 16-18 the three in a row and then the first well obviously the greatest team of all time is Barcelona 08-12 so Messi and then the best midfielder of all time that's isn't it isn't it so cool how that Xavi Iniesta Busquets was also like Xavi Iniesta Torre and then they just switched him out for like yeah I fucking love Busquets he's just soft fitting here
21:09Reev:so there were teams in here that were just years but also eras mainly eras I think Very Taylor Swift to you, that. Yeah, but there's only one or two players that change between a season, so you can't really give credit to one team and then not the other if they carry on. I think your period of City is too big, though. That is, I could have said five years. There was a lot of different players. Okay, right, fine. Well, 20 to 23, but there we go. The treble winning side has to be in there. Between the 17-18 team and the 22, you've got like company, Sterling, Sane, Torre, Bernardo and David Silva.
21:42Reev:and then there's a lot missing in the 22-22. That's what I mean. I think that's a bit of a too big of... Even De Bruyne. Yeah, the Centurions was a different team, wasn't it? Right, I've got... I went Milano 5-07. I know they lost to Liverpool, but then they won it again, didn't they, in 07? And like Theo said, the team they had. And a bit of a cheat code. Italy did win the World Cup in 06 as well, so some of their players were in that. Nine, I went Chelsea. Taking international bias. No, I'm joking. I am joking. 9, Chelsea 04-06 8, I went with this year's PSG team I think I don't think you can put them higher yet I think they've had a great season I think in the future they might sneak up Maybe If you've gone off eras who's to say that they don't keep doing it?
Read the full transcript
22:28No, no, no 7th, I've got the Inter treble 6th, I've got the Bayern treble 5th, I went United from 06-08 when they won three Premier Leagues and then the Champions League 4th, I went Madrid 16-80 I mean, the Madrid eras are so difficult to split. But I just preferred the Madrid before. The Glacchus? No, no, no. Just a couple of years before. I didn't want to do a four-year period of Madrid or five-year period. Third, I went with the City treble. Second, Madrid 14-16. And then first, Barca 09-11.
23:03Reev:Wait, you know the 14-16? Wait, when did they do the three in a row? 16-18. Yeah. That was a down, wasn't it? What was the 14 to 16, apart from obviously winning Champions League? They overhauled Barca in the league, didn't they? I don't think that team... Was that Ronaldo's like fifth... It was when Ronaldo was doing like crazy numbers. Yeah. Was that Urzil? That was pre-Bail though. No, no, Urzil had left, I think. That was pre-Bail, wasn't it? No, Urzil had just signed, hadn't it? Yeah, he signed like 2014, didn't he? Yeah. Was it 14? It was about then, yeah. Oh, right. I feel like the team, I think the 16 to 18, that period, I feel like that team wasn't as good they were just they were just like they just won I know it's a weird thing to say but I feel like the 14-16 was actually a better team got you but they're hard to split I wouldn't argue strongly either way I've looked at my I've definitely got one of these far too high but we'll come to that I think you both having the Bayern treble I missed that one I had that they were crazy man because also then Pep come in and just couldn't do what they've done who was that Was it Lewandowski at that time?
24:09No, but he was at Dortmund. Who would have been there? They had Robin Ribéry and up front would have been... He was the little fucker he played. He'd come off the bench. Well, Muller would have been there as well. Yeah, they had... Who did they have up front? I can't remember. I'll get it. What year was it? 12-13. Because they beat Dortmund in the final, didn't they? And Lewandowski was on the other side. Mandzukic. And Pizarro. Pizarro, yeah. Gomez. Who was the other one? Mario Gomez. Gomes. Mario Gomes. The little fucker. Claudio Pizarro. Right. Yeah, I did have that team and I took them out for Arsenal's Invincibles.
24:46I just felt like, I'm surprised no one else did. I just feel like, although you didn't win anything else. On paper. It is an unbelievable team and you are the only ones. Well, not the only ones. Can I actually,
24:56Reev:when we did the Premier League one, you didn't have them higher than fifth there, right? I had them on my list though. I think I've got all mine from that thing still in this top 10. All right. I'll let you off then. Okay, if it's consistent. If it's consistent, I'll let you off. It's not consistent. Yeah, because he's already just... Is it ever consistent? Yeah, but also, in his defence, doing a Premier League list is different to doing an all-time list. No, no, but he's... True, true. Because you can be... That's why I didn't put them in. So my city 100 points isn't in this list because they achieved nothing in Europe or didn't...
25:26That's why I didn't put Arsenal in, but he's done it the opposite way round. Yeah. I don't know what I've done, actually. Exactly, yeah. I just think if you go invincible, well fuck it you're in Inter 0-9-10 I then have in 8th Man United 0-8-0-9 I guess you can put that down to them in a era Chelsea 0-4-5 this was tight when I put them above them I just thought fucking 15 goals scoring 15 goals I mean for John Terry is insane 6th Man City Centurions pretty fucking beast mode you do know you've picked the United side that didn't win the Champions League I know I could have went the year before I went for the treble one.
26:06No, no. Oh, no. Was that not the treble? Oh, no. 07-08. 07-08. 07-08.
26:11Reev:I messed up that one. It won a treble unless you count Community Shield as a treble. But that's why it's easy to pick an era. Yeah, because it covers the success for two, three years, yeah. It always pains me to say Man United enlist as well. Fifth, Real Madrid, 16-17. I fucking love Gareth Bale. Okay, right, yeah. Nice. Then this is the one where I think I've got them a little too high, Man United treble, 98, 99. Were they the first in that era to get a treble? First English club to get a treble, yeah. I guess that's quite big. Man City treble above them, 2023. I've got, I don't think any of you said this, have you not got Barca's MSN era, 24-25?
26:55No one else hear that? 24-25? No, 14-15, sorry. What the fuck am I saying? No, not really. MSN was fucking... If you're on about the best team, yeah, but I think it's teams off Ere in Champions League. No, I understand that. I understand, but like, I can't believe it's an Ere as a sidebar. If you're on about the best team, no one else has MSN. I mean, I'll put it here. They scored a combined 122 goals in all competitions that season.
27:17Reev:Wait, they won a treble? Yeah. I don't know how anyone else has these. I completely missed that. No, yeah, that's a stinker. I should have had that. The most excited. We'll never have anything like that ever again. They won the treble. I did completely miss it. Yeah, they're fucking blue. I missed that as well. That's a great shout, Lewis. Guys Tom just said Great show up to me I'd probably have them Third on my list Yeah They're second First for me Or 8 or 9 Barca It's funny No Milan teams Make your That's the one I fucked up with I'm amazed I'm amazed You two have put the 08-09 Over the 11 one That 11 team Was like The best team Anyone's ever seen That was Messi's 91 Call in the goals Who's in that one again Sorry 2011's when they beat United In the final When everyone said It's like the best performance in a final ever from a team that was like that's Barca that was the midfield that's where they talk about isn't they didn't know what to do I don't think I think it's so tight 08-09 was Pep's first season where it was like they were crazy good but like that 11 team isn't it mad if you did individual seasons right obviously we forgot about the 14-15 you could put Barca Barca Barca Barca's just fucking clear what is the best 11 on paper ignore what they won but if you had to look at on paper Is it the AC Milano 405?
28:32No.
28:32Reev:Is it Arsenal's Invincible? I think you go with MSN. It's a Barcelona team. It's a Barcelona-Real Madrid team. Yeah, it is. Because then they still had the field and everything. It was all fucking solid. I'd go it. No, it was Rakitic. You'd come in by then, hadn't you? Oh, yeah, Rakitic. Yeah. Masquerade, I'm playing something. Yeah, I'd either go that one or one of the Madrid... Or the other... Or 11 Barca. Or, yes, one of the Madrid teams, yeah. Oh, them El Clasicos were just like... 11-1? It's funny how Ronaldinho left just before Barcelona got into, like, beast mode era. He did win a Champions League of 06 against the mighty arse.
29:10Reev:Borjan? Stoke legend? Melito. Yeah, this team still had Puyol, didn't they? The other one was Mascherano and Pique. This one was Puyol and Pique, so maybe edge it this, to be honest. The 08. The 08 or 900, Alexander Helov. But then Emerson had a better front three. Which is 14-15 Completely in the future Yeah that was a stinker From us missing that one I just completely I didn't even think of it It's just silly I'm smiling away What can we call that Bold knowledge guys Just left that Every Milan team ever No no Just let me But also like I know about the 93-94 team But I never would have Seen him play I just had to Like do research Yeah you just have to Do you know what I mean You just gotta go with the vibes You know what I mean Put your top 10 In the comments That's like Lewis's entire list Yeah He's not seen any of Any of the 10th play Yeah I don't like football do I?
29:57Reev:That's fucking Who's the best 11 in the world right now on paper? On paper? It's PSG isn't it? No I know You're saying because they're youngsters they're not established Yeah if you had to like really just look at names on paper PSG It's tough mate I hate that Do you see what I'm saying here? I do but I hate I hate where people say that because It should be Real Madrid It should be Real Madrid You're thinking names on paper. Well, yeah, you just want us to say Real Madrid, but Real Madrid are not even the top three in the world right now. Just show you what football's all about, though, isn't it?
30:34Reev:It's weird because there was only a couple of seasons ago where we were like, look at Real Madrid. How's this fair when they were making all these signings? So then now they're just fucking won. They're just doing what they did before. In the early 2000s, they had Zidane, Beckham, Ronaldo, Raul, and it didn't work then either. It's a team. When I was a kid I used to have this obsession With Gooty They didn't sign him though Gooty had come through The ranks didn't he He still played for him But my point is I had this I'm on about They did the same back then By just signing All these superstars Yeah Right Yeah another name What about Gooty He's just retired mate Might get old Should we do some Transfer news then They were knocking around Somewhere Oh honestly Nottingham Forest You're the biggest Babies in the world What is the I hate it when Tom's right What is the allegation He's just been tapped up illegally Do you know what's really Do you know what's actually Fucked up about this whole thing Right And Forrest fans If you had a brain cell between you You'd be annoyed at this as well Do you know what he's doing now This fucking owner He's just delaying the inevitable This transfer will go through But it might not go through Until the end of the transfer window How about you just let it happen Get the money And reinvest it now Are you also Why are you waiting All you're just doing He's delaying the inevitable.
31:51Reev:Tommy, you're also talking to the Sporting Lisbon owner as well. What? Does he own Sporting? No, but also with the Icarus thing, he's blocking it as well. That's different though. He's not saying it's illegal. He's saying that's a different situation. But the inevitable will happen. No, theirs is a gentleman agreement. This is a release clause that's been triggered. They have to accept it. It's just... They're in the right. Yeah, honestly, the whole thing is fucking embarrassing. Tottenham are making moves though in this transfer window. A lot of... Do you know what I think? Oh yeah, they've been very active already Do you know what I think this is one of the most exciting, busiest transfer windows we've had in a long time A summer window A lot of big moves happening Things are happening now Have we addressed, because I've been here a while Have we addressed how correct he was about even the sign-ins as well?
32:34Not everything Tom, just Forrest The sign-ins one, he was very right I believe you said, I think you shouted at me saying Your opinion is wrong No, no
32:45Reev:In our defence, what we were saying was also No, it wasn't. No, we were all. You were living in fairy tale world. The best thing about the clip is he hasn't got a beard in it, so at least, like, that tick's, like... Oh, God, look at him! At least when he gets shared for how right he is, he has no beard. Oh, no, that is not a thing. Yeah, you weren't right, he was. Tom never got bearded again. Whoever that guy is, he knows loads about football. Who is he? Who is he? Go on, he was very right, though. That's a lovely thought. It's not going to be a lovely thought. Yeah, but why can't Forrest become a giant in the Prem?
33:18Oh, because it's just, it's never happened. No, but you've said...
33:22Reev:Look at it. Yes, I will. But what I don't understand is why is one football club that's built different to... Don't know why, because, you know, next season, right, say Morgan Gibbs-White has another good season. One of the big six go, we'll have him. He's gone. To be fair, you said next season, so you didn't think he'd go yet. What? You didn't think he'd go yet. This was during last season. Yeah. Bottom line is, if Liverpool come in for Isak, Isak's gone. Oh, that was right. If Liverpool get him there as well. That would be really... A more built for the top six than Forrest. We have listened to him.
33:50Reev:It was a debate. No, no, no, he wasn't. Because look at what the chimp comes back with. Oh, your opinion. I know. He's in this whole point of the show. But your opinion is wrong. Okay, right. That ruined it. That ruined it then. Okay, right. Fear and I going, no, no, he's making sense. Then you start clapping and laughing. Yeah, he's a part of me. And then you bring up Leicester, which buried your own argument. Wait, was I the most impartial then? No. You all disagreed Out of the three of them Yeah but we wanted We wanted a dream To be a dream You all kept asking You all kept saying Why can't they Why can't they Like it's not just A circle of football And this is life It's good to ask The why can't they Exactly yeah You've got to be positive On a philosophical basis Then I explained why And you told me I was wrong What would Plato ask Yeah good question Forrest Spun Can I Have you seen it What does it Forrest have ceased All communication with Spurs As it stands As if like As if like they have an open line they blocked him hello it's a ton of hotspur they've chucked their phone into the river trends I think at least they have like one of the best kits this season though their kit is really nice Lewis thoughts on Anthony Alanga I'm so fucking excited by that signing obviously Gio Pedro didn't want to come and Buemo didn't want to come but Alanga do you know what Alanga is right genuine question would you Embuemo for more or Alanga for the amount you've paid I think I think they're different sort of profiles of players aren't they but I like Alanga because he's very screwed on and he said himself one of the biggest things why we wanted to sign him was he's very keen to self-improve and stuff.
35:24In lockdown, apparently all he did was just kick balls with his weak thought and now he's two footers. He ran at 10.600 metres on social media. He's the quickest player in the league. Did you see him pretending to score a goal? No. Oh my, get the clip of Alanga doing something you do when you're like five. Now, I think Alanga gets it pretending to score. He understands what it's like you need oh god you're unbearable honestly every player is done so every club says the same thing no i'm so happy to be here it's a great club it's an historic club i really understand it i love the fans they will say the same thing no okay no but genuinely jokes aside he'll be on twitter somewhere do you think like obviously a language had an unbelievable last two seasons i didn't realize how good they were and for a young player to go the only reason is because he's now part of your team he's second on like assist it's i didn't realize it was that Yeah, he's a very good player.
36:14But like, for his ceiling as well. Just put it in the back and forth. For his ceiling to be playing under Eddie Howey, he's going to improve a lot more. He suits our style of play.
36:26Reev:He's Swedish link-up, mate. Yeah, he suits our style of play a lot. He's very athletic, very quick. Yeah, he is, he is. I do think we have one of the scariest. No, no, no, no, no. He's like in a room. It's like the kit launch of him doing the sign. No, no, no, it's not that. I haven't seen what you're on about. It's fucking so funny. He literally starts doing like step overs. Like there's no ball. What's wrong with that? Oh, well, I mean, he's not doing like step overs. Oh, a guy's happy about a move. No, no. Let the man die. If anyone else did that, you'd be grilling them, Lewis. No, he wouldn't.
36:58He's a grown man. He's a fucking boy. He's pretending to do step overs, pretending to be someone. Like kicking the air to score a goal, then runs off celebrating. No, but jokes aside, I haven't had this good of a feeling about a sign in a long time. That's because it's the only one you've had into it. Do you know what, it's scary. It was very close to almost falling through as well, which would have been fucking terrible because he doesn't like the town. Jacob Murphy. What's Jacob Murphy going to do? He's going to start. I'm sorry for him. That's going to be a good battle between them two by the way.
37:27Reev:You can't start Murphy over a Langer. Yeah, you will. We will start the season with Murphy. No, you won't. You won't, mate. You just spent$55 million on him. He's going to start. Do you not agree, though? Like this is a fucking very clever sign. I think it's a great zoning. Yeah, he suits Newcastle very well as well. I think it's a great zoning. It's just like, oh, the idea of, because what you have, right? You have a Langer and God bring the pace. Ezek, the little trickster. Bruno pulling the strings. Joelinton bashing people about. Tenali sitting deep, playing these long balls. Yeah, and he's the tactics that he's told you about.
37:56Yeah, you can see what we're building. Have you seen him? Fucking hell no. What the fuck are we doing? Either sign him or don't. He was supposed to be here we go. You're just throwing Bo's ears out, by the way. For Britio Romano, you're a little fucking liar. João Pedro's here we go, like three seasons ago. Bullshit. Trafford here we go. Mate, deals do fall through. You do know that. I think it's when they realise where they've got to live, they fuck it up.
38:19Reev:Not the ones that he's actually witnessed the signing of in the meeting. That is also a problem for Newcastle. Alanga's a great sign. He's a great fit. But he is below that echelon of getting you to the top 14. I agree. People want to live in London a lot. No one wants to live in your shit. shit-hole city. The thing was Trafford, nah, fuck off. Now, the thing with Trafford, though, was... I can say that because I'm from a shit-hole. No, even he does. The thing with Trafford was, we had it all... Yeah, not even you do. We had it all sorted and then Burnley come back and they're like, we want more money.
38:48It's like, well, no. Well, that's what we agree and then you're just going to up it 10 million. Yeah, that happens, mate.
38:53Reev:Newcastle aren't the only ones and Spurs aren't the only ones in the market at the moment, are they? A lot of clubs, actually. Arsenal are on the market for a lot of players Can I say Norgaard Great signing Very good signing He seemed like a lovely guy Oh yeah Genuinely good guy Hang on We've just signed Mascara The centre half Because he did his own Hustle shirt Mascara centre half That's an emotional moment Yikarez Madweke Can I Do you Yeah I haven't got Yikarez so you can't see him yet Madweke Decent It's just These are It's not exciting me For an Arsenal That's going to go for it And win the league I don't think It's a bad signing I just don't understand the signing.
39:32Mate, Madureki's a good player but where the fuck is he going to play? Why do all you do is sign rejects from Chelsea? Yeah, yeah, but that's what it is. But it's not though, is it? Do you think Nani Madureki is coming to Arsenal to be depth?
39:42Reev:I also think 50 mil depth is crazy though. Do you know what it is? I'll tell you right now. He's your left winger signing. That's what I was saying. I think he might want to be turned into a left winger. He's not a left winger. But who knows, he might do it. We've seen him play left wing, Theo. Also, we can't just keep taking What if signing? Yet again, you're buying a player who's not a left winger to play him left wing just because... I love it because... We can play him on the right if Saka's out. One year, three in the middle. Okay, is that signing to get you over the line? I think it's a good signing but it's not a great signing.
40:13Reev:You have Liverpool making massive moves. You have Man City rebuild. But wouldn't you rather put the 50 million towards an actual left winger like Rodrigo or someone like that? Well, obviously I prefer Rodrigo. Yes, obviously. But, you know, if we sell Martinelli for 70, I don't know if that's going to happen. I don't know if he ended up leaving or not. Fuck me. What drugs are they taking? Who's giving you 70 million? Saudi. You are joking. Almaser. Yeah. Oh, my God. I mean, if that happens, you will sign Jokeres and then that'll be you done, I think. You have fell behind. You signed that centre-half today, as well, haven't you?
40:45Mascara. Mascara, yeah. And then Jokeres will be, and then that'll be it. Unless, unless that happens, like you just said. But do you not think... Then you might go and get a lead. But I'm telling you now, Madweck is your left-wing signing. Do you not think they've dropped further behind now? You're supposed to be catching up to Liverpool I think they've dropped behind I think they've dropped behind the transfer
41:02Reev:Zubomendi, Norgard, Maduweki already And then Gikara's I forgot about Zubomendi I forgot about Zubomendi Do we know about Zubomendi He's only 21 isn't he Valencia is it Valencia? Yeah I don't know But that will be depth
41:22I'm not even going to pretend What Zubomendi's going on strike for by the way He wants to move I know but like fuck off
41:28Reev:I hate all that shit Sportler literally denying him of his dream move Oh You signed the fucking contract They had a gentleman's agreement Oh well He's an idiot Yeah he's an idiot Oh you can't Oh I'm going to sign this contract and get loads of money Oh I want to break this whenever I want No that's why we got you to fucking sign it Yeah It's so stupid Oh I'm not coming to work then It's not a law pod Lou It is the only job in the world where you can do that isn't it Yeah Let's do a little segment called predicting their next club. First player, Marcus Rashford, according to reports. Barcelona in from left wing.
42:04Reev:Yeah, because Diaz no longer Lincoln, right? Do you reckon he'll do well? Yeah, I think he will, actually. I think he suits their style. I don't know how he'll cope with not being a... But he might play down the middle. What, and him be the new Lewandowski? Lewandowski's got 38 now? But he's still bagging stuff. He will at some point. He can't play every week, can he? He can't. He can't. I like seeing a lot more English players go abroad and play. Bottom line is right. People will laugh at this transfer. Pick another one. Pick another recent one that you've kept up to date with. He's got the ability to play there.
42:42Reev:We have so many more abroad. No, okay. I'm doing a few. I've played Devils out. You have Tamari. You have Abrahams out there already. You have Bellingham out there. You have two. The other Bellingham that's went out there. That's a lot. By the way, that's a lot more than what there was like six seasons ago. McTominay, Billy Gilmore. There's a lot of players out in Europe. There's so many more. We're all right then, but you're British. Apologise. No. There definitely has been an even look so far. There's way more. But you said like you're keeping up with the players that are going away. No, no.
43:12I said it's nice to see English players go abroad. That's all I said. He did say that and you attacked him. You did attack him then. I'm not shaking that.
43:20Reev:Yeah, all right. What do you think of United's signings? I don't know They've only made one, haven't they? Is he just curious so far? They're still trying on a Bwemo What's happening with a Bwemo? Apparently he only wants to go there But fuck knows Well, next player we've got Jack Grealish Now he was spotted Doing a very wholesome Little drunk chat With someone at Oasis Did you see that? I don't think he was that drunk By the way He was a bit tipsy, wasn't he? Just loving life Loving life I think he's seen fun Working hard on his holidays I think he'll get to Napoli Really? Really? What would link up with Scotty and Billy?
43:53I just feel like it... And Kev. The only thing with that is, the only thing with that is, he's got a newborn child, hasn't he? So I'm not sure how...
44:03Reev:Raising Italian. Yeah. If he was to stay in England, if he was to stay in England, it's his only choice Tottenham, really, isn't it? It's not, though, because where's he going to... Tottenham have just spunk down with Cougars. There's no, we'll cast some money in. Also, Tottenham won't pay Grealish's wages. We don't need him either. I don't know who needs him. Villa? I said this before. If we hadn't got Madweka, I would have taken Grealish at Arsenal. Yeah. I'll tell you just one thing. He won't go back to Villa. No. Grealish's issue is his wages. 300k a week. I do feel like he's going to have to take a cut.
44:36Reev:He'll have to, yeah. Back to Villa. He won't go back to Villa. I do feel like he's going to go. Mate, there's a load of shit going on with the family. I feel like he could, going abroad, actually might just be good for him. Yeah. Plus Italian wine is good. It is good. But also, if you do have a newborn child, the first couple of years, you could actually live abroad before they get settled somewhere. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And also... That's some real life shit. And also, if he's only... He can get private jets to and from all the time, can't he? I'm interested to see what happens with that. I mean, I could ask him, but I don't want to bother him.
45:12I feel a bit bad for him. It's a bit of a shame. I haven't worked out, innit? Why? Because he was meant to fly a little bit. and that's alright you just put him in your list I feel like he's just been hung out to dry a little bit hasn't he no mate I mean it's to do with performances I do like it his performances weren't that bad if you look at the back end of last season Man City don't want not bad for 300 grand a week I'm pretty sure he's pretty good I'm sure he was scoring wasn't he he was he's done last season he wasn't great at all at the back end of last season he was scoring goals he definitely was please transfer market I don't know.
45:46I can't remember. I do not think that is true. Transfer market Jack Rea is right now. So we've established
45:51Reev:you don't keep up with English players abroad and you don't keep up with English players domestically either. I can't believe I'm picking up another double. You got one, you got three goals last year. I said in the back end of the season. He might have got those all in the back end of last season. He scored one Premier League goal. He scored a goal on the 2nd of April. Yep. And anything after that. And then a goal on the 22nd of January. Go on to these fixtures. I've got it right here. You're a different breed, mate. I've got these pictures here. His three goals came in January. One in January, two in January, and one in April.
46:24Reev:Oh, the back end then. Go on, not done. You're a... I've got it right here. Go on, mate. I know I'm right. You're not. He just told you when he scored him. Which games did he score? I can't remember. Look, in fairness... He's always off the bench. He's supposed to get a bit of momentum. He isn't like... No, he's never been like a big stat padder. That isn't his game. in fairness to him. But still, they need more, don't they? I think a move would be good for him. He's actually only ever got double figures in goals once and that was a Villa. Yeah. He doesn't get more than five goals a season. Yeah, that's not really.
46:59Reev:He's never been that, has he? He gets assists. Yeah, he's creative, isn't he? He's more assists. Anyway, who's next? Next up, we've got Jadon Sancho. Jadon Yancho. They can't even get rid of him for 15 million. Farnham Town. They actually can't get rid of him. They can afford him. Back to Dortmund. He can't beat a man. Is he? According to Theo Baker Ah I've got no idea I fucking backed him So much I'm so pissed off at him The amount of arguments We had about him He was right You Yeah Isn't it funny how Chelsea Literally paid 5 million You might learn one day Luce just listen I'm right sometimes You know we have Old jibs and jibs I'll win some You win some Why hasn't it worked out Overall there's a mutual respect there Is what there is Why hasn't it worked out for Sanchez Is it just because it was United Or was it him I don't think he's I don't think he's as good As people think he is Sancho up man United After a while, you have to think the common denominator is the player, right?
47:48I think he's really technically gifted, but it's not enough.
47:51Reev:He's just suited to more European football, maybe. I think he's definitely suited to a slower game, for sure. I think, mate, he'd be an amazing 5SI player, but they're not playing 5SI. It's not. It's really not. I'm actually appraising his technical ability, like close control and things like that. Why don't you say he'd be good in La Liga, then? Because I don't think he would. Not for a top team. Technical players do well in La Liga. Where would you plop him that he would be good at? Genuinely, like the Dutch league. Fuck you, man. I'd like an Ajax. Playing an Ajax. Yeah, he'd like that, the lifestyle.
48:22Reev:Then he'd get moved back to... Imagine if Sancho would have been United. I honestly think Sancho or Palace, Crystal Palace, someone like Palace. But I don't even think he's... Palace would be interesting. I think in his head, he is this top level. That's the problem, though. And he'll never go to that, believe. But that's the problem. That's exactly the problem. He'll probably get to Saudi or something, I don't know. I reckon Juve. I just don't think he's that I think he's got talent but he's just not that good Whispers of a done deal Whispers of a done deal I thought you were going to say a done deal The fact that Chelsea the fact that Chelsea have paid 5 million just to give him back to United he's a damning no he's seriously a damning I know he's not on the list by the way Sterling's come back to you Chelsea what's he doing Jesus Is he on the list he might be the next name What's Sterling doing Saudi surely Get that back I reckon he's got MLS MLS for Sterling Surely finished please got the MLS in it.
49:15Reev:Why how I'm still a nice living it Join it with Jesse Lingard. He's loving it all in Asia. What country?
49:26Reev:He's keeping it with players abroad Streams every day does he he changed his hair recently. I don't know if you saw in the chat lads I now know why I saw Andy Carroll the other day. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. for Dagenham and Redbridge. Dagenham and Redbridge. That's crazy, man. Anyway. Horrible round. Who's the next bar on the list? Fulham. Sterling wants to seek a new challenge in the Premier League. Jamie Vardy. This is an interesting one because apparently he said he said he wants to stay in the Premier League. Leeds. Well, no. Wasn't United asking for either Callum Wilson, Cavaloon or Vardy? Why are you linking Newcastle with him?
50:05Reev:He's not linked with us. To replace Callum Wilson. To replace Callum Wilson. We're not getting Vardy in. if you were why not I will say one thing though Vardy is a massive Sheffield Wednesday fan so I don't think he'll sign for Leeds yeah he also is not going to go championship either no I don't think he'll sign in the championship do you think he takes the United move because obviously they're after if you're Jamie Vardy getting off at Man United you're going Burnley surely you're going well he would be gone by now you'd go to Man United of course you'd go to Man United yeah but wouldn't if that was the case wouldn't he already be there I think he was signing for either Sunderland or one of the old firm oh didn't think of that That'd be good.
50:41Reev:Where's that come from, the old film game? I just think that, I think it's the type of move. He can still handle that level. I can see him there, and I think he can still handle that level. And I think... Dwight Gale was playing well up in Scotland until recently. Is he linked with Rangers? Was he? Yeah, he was at... He was retired. Yeah, they wanted him to stay... I don't think he was doing that well. They wanted him to stay... Oh, he's actually had talks with Rangers. He's linked with Rangers. Damn. Another Garrett shout. No, it was on there. Oh, was it? Links with MLS and Saudi Arabia. Okay, right.
51:08Reev:I saw it and thought, Yeah, that makes sense. Do you know where I think I want him to go? It has to be into Miami. Can you imagine? I don't think he wants to drop to that level. I know, but imagine he finishes his career with Messi, Suarez and Busquets. But if he does get off in Manchester United, you just said a second ago he's going to go there. Yeah, but if he doesn't, he probably won't get off in Man United. He ain't going to get to Man United. How would the Man United fans feel about signing Jeremy Vardy? I feel like they wouldn't be that for the least. Jeremy Vardy's not going to Man United.
51:34Reev:Do a couple of years in Miami. I think Messi. I think it'll be Sunderland Or the old firm But the thing with the old firm Is he'd probably start Yeah So Sunderland He won't start there It's a lot of football For a 38 year old I feel like any promoted team In the Premier League Should be looking for Premier League experience Like should just Go for him It's probably 100 grand a week Could you say You know what Everton You know Calvert-Lewin's left But again Is he going to be a backup I don't know Is he going to be a backup striker He'll drop his wages Surely I know he'll be a lot on Leicester, but now, like, he's in different stages of his career.
52:11He's not going to be getting... He's on crazy money at Leicester. I think he was, yeah. You probably still know that. Okay, I'm not getting that now. Google what Vardy was on at Leicester. He's over 100 grand a week, I'm sure. No way. I swear to God. It will be a lot because he was their main guy, but he won't get that anywhere else except from Saudi. 8 million, yeah. 140 grand a week. 140 a week. Yeah, hell. For the last... Jam as Vardy. He's pretty beast. He's pretty beast. He's pretty beast. He's a lot of Red Bull. DCL. DCL. I'll take him. Horrendously overrated. I'll take him. Do you think he is?
52:39I don't think he's overrated. No, no, no.
52:41Reev:I'm just following on from Theo. He's overrated. I think he just... Tommy, he hasn't done it in fucking years. No, no. He's too injury prone. He's too injury prone. People still think he's Calvert-Lewin. He's not. It's not the Man United. It's Calvert-Lewin now. It's Calvert-Lewin now. I don't think that would be a bad signing for Newcastle. I want to know. But what, Newcastle are facing an injury-prone striker with another injury-prone striker? I know, but you can... Yeah, but they already had one. One's injured, the other one obviously. Canlis is gone, he's left. No, we get him on a free, then we can invest elsewhere.
53:12I think that'll be smart. Yeah, but you say on a free, he's on 100 grand a week. Well, we're linked with the Egetique again. There's no way he goes to Newcastle. He's the one who fucking mugged us off. I know who he is. Remember when he did the enjoy splits as well? He can start. This is the way you think. We're apparently looking for him to start with Iza. So then that's What? That's apparently what it is I don't know if he plays like a little bit behind Izak and we dropped Joel in but I think that's weird That won't make any sense
53:38Reev:because you remember three midfielders Apparently that's what it is No way Apparently that's what it is Right, well that's not going to happen I would be quite confused They're quoting like 80 million for him Yeah, it's crazy Would you buy a Langer with a restructure of formation in mind? You're not getting I don't know if it's like we're trying to build A Langer's not a 4-4-2 player either It'll be I think we're going to be trying out three at the back but that's a whole other thing next year anyway let's vote where do you think he goes West Ham I think he'll go Newcastle yeah I think he'll be their backup I think we'll resort to him at the end of the window I think he'll go and sign for Newcastle what about Leeds I don't think they can well they probably can but I don't know I like Calvert-Lewin as a person but I just don't think he's the player Leeds probably isn't a crazy shot I'll put Leeds because he's from that neck of the woods I predict we try to sign someone don't sign anyone and we get Carver-Lewin the week of the yeah I think you're going to do catch him yeah oh that'll be crap but unless unless his ego unless his ego thinks I want to go and start somewhere in just the Leeds or Sunderland yeah yeah yeah that's what I think that might happen at least you want some West Ham you want some I say West Ham yeah get rid of fucking Fulcroc is Fulcroc still up top for Leeds it's Pirro isn't it he's there but he doesn't start it's Pirro alright next player we've got is no don't um no one there you go moving swiftly on guys Oh Oh Okay After This is a banger Oh it could be a stinker After a few weeks A few weeks ago Everyone basically Got in Tom's case Didn't they Tommy Why Because of his pyramid Oh Pyramid scheme Yeah Pyramid scheme What is world class Who was it who said I made them rethink How they consider world class Who was we with Probably Danny No it wasn't Danny Oh no I agreed with you I feel like removing players and just making them world class is an easier thing to say than actually having your own I think it's a mixture everyone has their own yeah there's no right and wrong to what you think world class is yeah exactly that you have like a minimum parameter of like how good you have to be but then I do think it is still decided by in 20 years time football in general might have just be worse yeah so like you still will have there will be a new world class it's just worse than how it used to be so I feel like you have to be at least over this It's like we probably said Maradona wouldn't get in the Crystal Palace team now.
56:02That's just ridiculous. What I was thinking about was I say Isak's world class, but if you put him into a better generation of strikers, that was like 10 years ago, I might just say he's just outside the cusp at the moment. I still think Isak actually is on that level. But I think if you go back to when we literally had, there was like 30 years ago or 20 years ago where you had so many fucking strikers, you would probably say he's just on the cusp a little bit.
56:25Reev:Now, before we move on to what Producer World's prepped for us, we actually had a comment which sparked this debate for us. Sam left a comment saying, a Bangor video will be world-class or not in the Premier League. So go through every Premier League player and say if they're world-class or not. Now, we're not going to do every single player. But Will... Yeah, his pod is actually five hours long. But I imagine it's a tier list full of players that are on the cusp of... Yeah, and Will... Will is an avid football viewer. He knows more about football than... Well, he is a dingle, so I'm not sure about that.
56:52Reev:So are we agreeing as a group then? and we're doing a group one again. World class or not. Oh, this is going to be fun. No salary. Okay, so we've got a list. We've basically got Premier League's top talent. If there's players on here who you think we should have spoke about, just relax because we can't do 100 players. Yeah. So we've had to whittle it down. There's enough as it is. We'll do it again a different time. Right, let's start with, let's go from right to left. Right to left. How about you name, you say the player and then each of us say whether we think world class or not world class and then we discuss.
57:19Oh, good. Instead of all just shouting at me. Yeah, I'll say it last. Mois Caicedo. not world class not world class world class
57:28Reev:you have to say it as well not world class he's always going to Moises Kisado he's definitely world class he is unbelievable no I know but there's not I don't think there's a player in the world who can do what he does especially off the ball and he's unbelievable on it as well I guess it's when he's missing for Chelsea they are completely they get ran through yesterday half the reason PSG couldn't do what they've done to all the other teams, like Madrid, who were just wide open, it's because he's there in the middle, stopping everything. To be fair, he's like Kante. He's already switched. He's like a more technical Kante.
58:04Reev:There are a lot of players on the cusp. I think he's a very hard one-to-one, and I think the position he's in is very easy to overlook for stuff like this, because it's like, you don't necessarily always notice the brilliance that he's sort of doing. Well, you do if you watch him. Yeah, no, but it's like, if I haven't watched a full game, and I just look I'm like oh fucking Cole Palmer scored too Gio Pedriol scored you know what I mean you don't watch him because I know we're saying the same thing but he is on the cusp of that I just think he's bang on the threshold and I think if he does another season at it then potentially yeah for me it's but he's been doing this for like three years now he was amazing at Brighton I know he had a bit of yeah he was amazing at Brighton he had a bad off when he first came to Chelsea but then the back end of that season he was great then last season he was amazing I think but world class I think he's the best older midfielder in the world world class almost accounts for consistency as well though over a period right but he's arguably the best midfielder in the league last season no no no I'm saying but the reason why I'm not saying he's outright world class now is because I feel like he's got to do a bit longer I mean who's been doing it longer than him in his position well Rodri yeah that's fair that's fair very fair I'm not angry I must admit when I said he's the best okay let me take that back He's the second best six in the world Rodri is definitely the best 3-1 not world class Moving on Enzo Fernandes not world class Not world class No No That was easy McAllister not world class I can't believe you're considering this But not Kaisa Edo He's not world class Hang on You haven't let him answer Because he's thinking about it You've got to let him say world class And then we can Yeah but yeah We're supposed to laugh Sorry No, he's not going to see it.
59:51Reev:No, he's another one that's bang on the threshold, but I think he's a bang on the threshold. He's really not. He's great. He's really good. He's not on the threshold. I can't believe you think he's on the threshold. Mate, when you think, how good he was for Argentina as well. No, he is good. He was good. Yeah, he's great. He's great. He's fine. He's fine. Not world class. Van Dijk, world class. Yeah, it's not even a debate, mate. That's unanimous, isn't it? Bruno G. Go on, one by one. World class. I'm saying not world class Yeah just under I'm going to say not But he's close Yeah another one on the threshold Who do you think is close To being world class McAllister or Bruno G Bruno G Bruno G I think Bruno G But I think I don't actually know you know That is close actually I think McAllister might be A better rate than him No come on What do you mean No come on I think going forward I'll accept like Arguments of Kai Sid Or Bruno G But he's not I know it's a different position But McAllister's not closest To him than Bruno G You think McAllister's better In the final third than Bruno G He's a better attacking player Yeah but do you think If Bruno G was more...
1:00:49Reev:Do you think Bruno G to... That's not Bruno's strength, though. Do you think... You know how Rice... He will facilitate brilliance from other people. You know how Rice is now... He's running with the ball loads now. He's moving... Do you think if Bruno G really took control and started doing that... He does. He can't. No, no. He's a fan. He doesn't have caffeine. He doesn't have to do that, though, in that system. He runs the ball. He can't do that, though. No, he runs our midfield, man. No, he doesn't. I'm talking about He's wriggling with all carrying the ball. But no, that's not necessary for how we play, though.
1:01:22We don't need that.
1:01:23Reev:It can add another element to his game, which will propel him forward. That's just not his style, though, is it? That's not how we operate in midfield. We don't need that. He's not world-class. Saliba, world-class. Yeah, world-class. World-class? Yeah, he is. He is. He's on the threshold, but he's just... He's not on the threshold. Just... I'll tell you what, back in the last season, he's fucking close to on fraud watch. He's not on the threshold. Yeah, but he's not as far over as you're making out of it. He really is. Honestly, he is, Theo. He was shit back in the last season. No. Oh, he is. Yeah, he's there, bottom left.
1:01:55Reev:Oh, yeah, yeah. Gravenberg. No. No. Not yet. Could be. Jogs Gale. This is interesting because the crop of defenders. Not world class. No. I don't know, you know. These are all close, but no. I'm going to go just over. I'm going to go. Honestly, what is this threshold? Is his position a left back? Yeah. He's left back. Or certainly Like Who's the better left back He's not though He's a centre-half Who's better left back Cucurella's a better left back Than him He's not world class Would you say Cucurella Would you say Cucurella's World class He's a centre-back Left back isn't he Mate Feels dirty saying it But he is like He's one of the It feels weird Cucurella's amazing bro He actually like He's there now Honestly He re Watching his club Well cut I didn't really realise How well he reads the game Yeah Well he scores Fucking every other week At the back of the last season It's not even that mate I'm telling you right Cucurella that he's brilliant.
1:02:46What other left backs are there? In the Premier League, you've got Robinson, Kirkus, Lewis Holt. You've got Nuno Mendes. Valde.
1:02:53Reev:Theo Hernandez. I'd say Nuno Mendes is the best in the world, but I think Cucurello's probably second. I think you might put Cucurello in the world class. We haven't even got Cucurello in the list. I'm not putting Vardy in the world class. I'm going to get out of it anyway, sir. Where have you voted? I would tink him on world class. If you vote world class, then it's two two. I did. I think just over. You might decide this. I'll put him world class
1:03:16Reev:I just think this threshold's really low for what we're considering world class then. I think Cavado is just unbelievable. As what though, a left back are we going? He's just as a defender as well. He can go forward, he can defend really well. I agree, he's great. He can do everything. You're asking about doing it for a while to be considered world class. He could be top three left backs in the world. I'll change the world. And he's a centre back at trade. I'll change to world class. Do you see what I mean? Yeah, yeah, exactly. There's no other left backs. There's no other left backs. It's Nuno Mendes, Cucurillo and Cavado best three left backs in the world.
1:03:44He's good enough to be one of the best in his position in the world. So he's world class. There is no right and wrong to what he's wrong with.
1:03:51Reev:What's the Mario's weakness? Yeah, it's a good point. That's, yeah, it's a good... I think he can get caught out of position at left back. But he's not a left back. It's hard to think of a weakness. But also when he's played at centre back, he hasn't fucking shone at City. I know they haven't as a team, but... I want to see him more consistently in his proper position before I called him world class personally. Anyway, moving on to Sovoloskay. No. No. Gabriel Yeah I think he is I really do think he is Gakpo No I do think he's underappreciated Saka is world class He is If we're putting Vardial in world class Saka is That is the problem Because now we've sort of lowered the overall standard No only to what you believe You either say world class or not world class Based on what you think The whole point is you watch them and you think yes or no Yeah I'll say yes or so Even for England Phil Foden No I want to say yes He should be Well we're not basing it on talent You've got to do it man He's never done it for England He was shit all last season He's got to do more man I could be persuaded
1:05:09World class There's one thing they have to be and that's consistent at the top level and he's not done that. Yeah, I said no. Okay, no. He's too inconsistent. Tonali. No, guys, come on. Here we are. No, because I can't put
1:05:22Reev:Caicedo in not and then Tonali in. No, because if you're about to put race in and then not Tonali... There's no way to... If we're not... By the way, the fact we've put Caicedo not world-class and fucking Vardial and we're considering Tonali, this is a blasphemy. No, I'm not considering Tonali for the same reason... No, but I think Tonali should be considered for world-class. I think he is world-class. He is world class. I don't think he's world class. He is. But I'll do a compromise and put Kaysado up into world class. The only reason... Wait, if that evens the scales and it changes how people view it, then I don't really care.
1:05:50I do think of it like this, right? I think Kaysado starts, other than when Rodri's fit, I think he probably starts for every team in the world. I do think if Tenale's going to go world class, we do have to have Kaysado there as well.
1:06:01Reev:Tenale's not going world class. He is going world class. He is world class. He's not. He is. He's on the cusp again. I understand he hasn't done it I want another season from him Yeah, I get that argument But for me personally Yeah I need Caicedo up I'm sorry I'm vetoing that And Caicedo is We'll do that No
1:06:24Reev:He's just changed it He's done it off his own opinion Caicedo You just put Cavadio in There he is There he is Bless him I'm going to say yes for that Thank you, Brutal I'm going to say yes for that There's no argument If you do it on the biggest scale, like England did it. In the 80s, world class. You're leaving Tonali on, you're putting Declan Rice in, I think that's fucking crazy. I think Royce has edged it over Tonali recently, I think. Mate, think about the scale and the stages of the Champions League. No, no, no, but even in the Euros as well. No, no, no. Halfway through the season, like it was you on my side with the Tonali or the Rice side.
1:07:01I think they're close. I think they're very close. And Tonali hasn't fell off in performance since then at all. But they play different roles, mate. We're talking about
1:07:07Reev:number eight, Declan Rice. Who's a better eight in the world? I'm not arguing Pedro. We're talking about further forward. I just think we've put the line here and you put Tonani on this side of it. I think they have to be on the same side of the line. We're talking about slightly different positions now though. He's better further forward. Really disagree. You don't think Rice is better? I think Tonani's better. I think, I'm not saying he's better. I think that at least like wherever one goes, it's close. He has to be on that side of the thing. I think the split I think what Rice has done makes them world class.
1:07:40What, get knocked out of the Champions League? I don't understand. They're the best team in the world. What's the finale done then? He's won a trophy this last season. Oh, fucking hell, man. You're going off because Rice scored some... I understand. Adam Warton is then Adam Warton. He's won a trophy. Okay, okay, okay. What's he done then? Tell me what's he done. Tell me what he's done. He bullied that entire Madrid team in the second leg. Okay, so what's Waste done last season? He helped carry West Ham to a major trophy. Declan Rice was better in the second leg than he was in the first leg. Oh, hang on.
1:08:14You turn your nose up at West Ham winning a European trophy, but Tonali helped them win a League Cup, like it's the World Cup. Okay, let's be honest. You know our route to that League Cup final was the hardest of the most difficult. Okay, so Adam Wharton's world class. By the way, are we making this list? No, no, no. Is Adam Wharton world class then? No, we're making this list right now. But he helped them win an FA Cup, beating Man City in the final. We've also just finished in the Champions League. You have to think about what Deccan Rice has done this season. What's he done then? No, no, no.
1:08:40It's not just this season.
1:08:41Reev:But also the argument I was raising earlier about Caicedo saying, I think I've got to see more of him. Deccan Rice has done this over a much longer span than Tonali has done in the Premier League. I think that's a fair argument. If you're leaving them out on pure longevity, then that's fine. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But if you're leaving out on ability right now, I think that's the wrong argument. What you've said there, okay, if you need more time, then fair enough. Tonali's only really properly performed. this season. And he's a fucking cheat. Whereas Rice has obviously done it internationally. We've seen that as well.
1:09:09Yeah. West Ham proven it. Oh no, we've seen it at the conference. West Ham, oh you know.
1:09:14Reev:Anyways, Gloria and Bert. Only because of my lack of watching him, I'm going to say not. Yeah, don't know enough yet. Please don't shoot me for that. I just haven't seen enough of him. That's actually an honest... Yeah, Roger's rock class. Oh. Isaac. Yep. I would go, yeah. Guys, Mr. Three-Monthy Isaac. I said yes. He's going to be a dickhead. Purple Patrick Zanberg. We don't need to hear what he's saying. He's going to agree. He's going to agree. Not on him because it's so biased. Wait a second. Why doesn't this opinion matter? Because he's going to just say it to Wynne. No, he's not. I'm just asking.
1:09:47Is he not really inconsistent? Do you not think he's inconsistent? No, I don't think he's inconsistent. No. He doesn't do it in batches. No, he doesn't get a lot of injuries. If you're only talking about one tiny aspect of his game. Just a question. No, I disagree. I think he brings a lot more to the team even when he's not scoring. Okay, fair enough. he's world class yeah see
1:10:02Reev:I told you he was good Alisson yeah 100 % straight in you've got a thing for him I think you fancy Alisson is Edison in the list yeah Alisson yeah get him up there fucking hell Omar Marmouch no no but Europeans one of the Europeans top goal scorer and assisters no he's done it for a season he's not world class Cole Palmer yes get my boy in there and he's still my boy He's still the best player in the world I knew I was right I was wondering when that was going to come back out He's done it He's literally just won the World Cup I thought he was going to wait a couple of weeks He just made the best team in the world Look shit He's the best He got that off your chest Sorry, I just love him man How good is he to watch He's the fucking reason we should watch football Not these other two coming up I tell you something right There's two players Who are left on this Fucking list And I hate them Who was that one Martin Oldegaard Not well cast No He should be well cast He's Feel Feel You know when he was like 16 breaking through Real Madrid He was good at Sociedad Yeah Well he's had the Longevity aspect This guy should I know it He's a luxury player He does it against Norwich He does it against Sheffield United He should have stepped up He should have become the man.
1:11:28Reev:He doesn't do it enough in the big games. He's in a poor season. He had a poor season, but there's always next season. Yes, my miss out there is. It fucking pains me to say this, but he is. I am joking. More world-class players in the Premier League. Well, there's not, but... Yeah, so in not world-class, we've got more world-class and not world-class players in the Premier League. Which might be an issue in this stuff. Okay, yeah, we didn't do the full... In not world-class, we've got Enzo, McAllister, Bruno G, Graven Burch, Sobolosky, Gakpo, Foden Tonali, Vert Mahmoud, Erdegaard I think that's fair In world class We've got Do we all agree?
1:12:00Reev:Van Dijk Agree Yeah Taliba, Gabriel Zaka, Haaland Caicedo, Gvardiol Rice, Rodri Izak, Palmer Alisson, Salah I think that's a fair list He would change Gvardiol But other than that I think there's a few too many in there To be honest Really? But even though they're different positions I don't care I don't care about their positions I think there's a few too many in there Who would you swap then? Obviously, Guardiol's a swap for you. I wouldn't have Guardiol. Don't say it, Tom. No, no, no. Don't you say Saka. Don't you dare. I think you say Guardiol and Rice, aren't you? No, I think Saka just about...
1:12:37They're two centre-halves. I don't know. Saliba, Gabriel? Yeah, they don't fill me with world-class. I think they're brilliant, but I don't know if they're world... Honestly, I'm starting to think Gabriel's better than Saliba.
1:12:49Reev:That's not a bad shot. So you dropped Saliba before Gabriel in this list? Possibly. Wow. They're both world class. I think both of them are brilliant, right? Like, brilliant. But I think together, they're amazing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I think without each other, they're just below world class. Not the Van Dyke effect. No, yeah. They're the opposite of Van Dyke, whereas Van Dyke elevates everyone. I think they need each other. They were both world class. What's that, sorry? Ferdinand and Vidic were both world class, weren't they? I don't think Vidic was, but I understand your sentiment there. But also, then the argument would be, who's better than them in the world?
1:13:22I'm not sure how many maybe Bastoni or like yeah see maybe I'm being a bit harsh but yeah I think they'd be on my cusp of oh I'm not sure
1:13:31Reev:Kabasi 18 years old he's really good but he's been injured I know but obviously guys let us know in the comments if you want anything for us to discuss and have little clips because we do read your comments especially Reeve he replies to a lot of them and Tom does on TikTok replies to a lot of them as well which goes slightly unnoticed but yeah let us know and we will address them in a thingy does that imply that you're reading everywhere Are you sure that's on my account? I have someone working with me who checks all comments. Are you sure that also has never happened? You reply to all your comments.
1:14:01Reev:On my TikToks, I do. And moving swiftly on to the opposite of something we did a few weeks ago. Yeah, this is a nicer one. Yeah, we're going to do an underrated world level and I'm going to go first because my list is shit. I'm just going to pre-warn you. I'm worried for mine. This can't be bad. We're giving people more credit than they get. It can be. Because when he said Carver Lewin. No, you said overrated. No, that's overrated though. Underrated is like people that deserve more flowers. That's fine. That's a good thing. Yeah, I think... Yeah, mine is... By the way, the formation is honking.
1:14:29Isn't it? It's fucking hard, too. I've basically got four centre-halves. Don't shoot me. I've done the same.
1:14:34Reev:You've done world football as well, haven't you? Yeah, I've basically got four centre-mids and then a striker and a winger. It's fine. Do you know what? I don't care. All right, I've had a great weekend. Fuck you. He went to Oasis. Right, in goal, I've got Jan Sommer. Have you got the same? I thought I was going to get shouted for that. Really? I thought he was fast. He doesn't get respect, though. I think maybe I underrate him. I didn't realise how good he was until the Champions League this season. He's always 85 rated on FIFA, mate. I don't play FIFA, though, do I? I'm too busy on F1. Is he 85 rated?
1:15:04Reev:You'd know, would you? I don't play it. Okay, my four centre-halves. Here we go. I've gone with Jules Koundé, because I know Araujo gets a lot of credit for Barca. He plays more right back these days, doesn't he? Yeah, I know he's both, though, isn't he? He's both. Then I've gone with Longley because I thought he was poo. Is he still cutting him out? Longley plays for Atleti, doesn't he? Shit, did not know that. I've gone with Ben Mee. I had him and took him out. I've gone with Ben Mee. And then my other centre half is Agbadoo at Wolves. I think you'll see him shine. You love him, don't you? I think you'll see him shine this season.
1:15:40He's transformed them. Right, my midfield's four. I've only met... I know he's good. I know he's good. I just feel like he doesn't get the flowers of maybe his partners. So I'm going with Fabian Ruiz. I've got him in. And I think him for Spain, I think people forget how good he was at the Euros last season. Then next to him, even though I fucking hate him, Enzo Fernandes. I think he's transformed himself in the last few months. I put him in overrated. I think that's fair because I do, I think he's shit. I'm under him. He's late coming into the box. He started to get that into his game. He's got goals.
1:16:14I do feel like, and I hate him. I want to get that on the record. I hate him. This is Club Wild Cup, bye.
1:16:21Reev:He's been great, but my third one, because I don't understand why people are poo-pooing this signing, so I think it's brilliant business, nor God. Yeah, correct. And then also, this is probably more of my own, but my own, what's the words? I probably underrated him. He's Pereira, Andres Pereira. Oh, okay. Because I've always said, nah, he's shit, but he has actually been good, hasn't he, for Fulham? And then my front two, I've gone Visser. I just think he's amazing. Do you think people underrate him now? Yeah, I think they do. I think people don't understand he doesn't take penalties. Yeah, but surely everyone knows he's fucking close.
1:16:57Reev:I feel like he's... It depends... It depends on what your city's level is. I think Visser can play like top six. Yeah, so if you're saying that, what club would you look at? Spurs. Because I think... He's going Forrest, isn't he? I think that is his... I think an Arsenal would be like, yeah, that means he must be underrated. He's going Forrest, isn't he? Is he? I think he's linked with Forrest, isn't he? Oh, Dave, Visser. don't do that you don't want to play for them genuinely I think he's going to go for us and then my last one again only because the other players in the team tend to get the flowers and whenever I watch him I think he's really talented it's Barcola can I please get mine out the way in goal I also have Jan Sommer very obvious shout out for that Durian Timber oh he is good to be I feel like everyone really likes Timber though I've never heard someone He plays literally everywhere across the back four and doesn't get the credit.
1:17:50I do feel like there is more flowers for like Gabriel and Saliba. I guess so, yeah.
1:17:55Reev:I really like it. And a different Dutch right back, actually. He deserves more credit. Is it Mario Melchior? Inigo Martinez. You don't know who that is, do you? Yes, I did play for Chelsea. You're underrated, son. There you go. Who? Inigo Martinez. Who's that? I don't even know who that is. Barca. Barca? Barca Lona. Eh? Who the fuck's in it? I thought he played for Bilbao. No. Which Martinez am I thinking of? I'm thinking of a completely different Martinez. He's played like 38 games for the season, mate. He gets no credit. Oh, yeah, I can't remember. Well, yeah, he is underrated, so I can't remember who the fuck he is.
1:18:28Reev:I thought there's... My final two defenders are Van Hecker and Akanji. He gets horribly overlooked at Manchester City, I think, personally. Yeah, I can't watch out. Also have Fabian Ruiz in midfield alongside Kamara. I know we mentioned him a lot on this show. Yeah, I nearly had Kamara. He is definitely an underrated player. and then Damsgaard for Brentford that's a good shout he is an underrated I think any Brentford players are just they are they literally are underrated Cody Gakpo up front for me alongside I know again we discussed him a lot nah do you know what I don't mind that because I used to think he was poo until he moved to the left I know we discussed him a lot on the show and I don't know why I put him in but it's Jacob Murphy still underrated and then my striker is Gerasi for Dortmund he's a top scorer in the Champions League one here last season really and that is the reason why he's underrated mate there you go my friend right I've got a guy who actually hasn't played much this season but when he filled in for Courtois last season I thought he was sensational looning in goal oh yeah he's actually great he's actually great but he needs to leave and play first team football or Courtois needs to be do you know he's got a really bad medical condition though apparently over like he gets so much smegma under his why do we fall for it and apparently he has to have his own it's been a while since he left I was really hooked into it.
1:19:46Reev:He has to have his own cubicle because the smell the players throw up when he gets his cock out. That is disgusting. Right back, I've got Dumfries. People don't know how good this guy is. People like you. I still don't think that. Yeah, I'll fuck off. He plays like he's wearing Timberlands, man. That's exactly why. Yeah, I agree. A centre-back at PSG who actually got sent off against Bayern but everyone was like, Marquinhos, Marquinhos, what? Pacho. Class. Kabasi, people don't realise he's only 18 because he's that good and then Grimaldo Frimpong always gets the flowers but actually Grimaldo is yeah he had a good season he had a good season like five years ago I'm joking midfield three Alexis McAllister oh come on he's not underrated yeah Alexis McAllister we just put him on a world class not world class I think he's still underrated people think no they think he's class they think he's really good did you see we debated whether he's world class I underrate him okay if they'll get a fair.
1:20:44Reev:McAllister's not underrated, Theo. Rodrigo de Paul. And there's a reason. He's about to get you into Miami. What are you on about? He's fucking sick. He's so good. He's exactly... Messi's trying to get him. He needs him. He's done. He's not done. You think he's done. Therefore, he's underrated. Oh, yeah. That's why he's going for the MLS. I think a lot of people think he's a good player, though. No, you're wrong. Fabian Ruiz. Yeah. And then a front three of Iwobi. Fuck yeah. He's done it for so long. He's just missed the consistent. I do like Iwobi's class. Ferran Torres. Yeah, good striker when he needs to play.
1:21:23Reev:Yeah, yeah, yeah. When he gets minutes. He played a lot of minutes last year. He's got a lot of goals. And then obviously, Madweke. He's unreal. He's absolutely fantastic. He's so good people don't realise how good this guy is. And also he's just gone to the mighty Arsenal. He's about to be signed by Arsenal. I wonder if that is going to go straight up. Yeah. Right. He's the real list. So, in goal. You can't be wrong with this. You can't be wrong with this. In goal, he can't. There's one you might think I'm wrong, but I think he suffers from the people who were surrounded and signed around. Just say your list.
1:21:57Petrovic, who's now signed for Bournemouth. Wow. I don't think he's as bad as the other bad keepers. Is it Bournemouth who signed it? I think it's going to Bournemouth. Place Keffa. Because Bournemouth, Keffa's went the thing. 25 mil as well, the expense. He's a good player. Someone was explaining this. Chelsea have just absolutely conned everyone in their goalkeepers he's a good player man right little one that's went under the radar playing three at the back with Eric Dier had a good season of Bayern won the league now he's signing for fucking Monaco this is Eric Dier what do you mean Monaco aren't that great yeah no but he's like still he's getting a bit on now and he's like
1:22:27Reev:tax free as well tax free is he underrated I don't mind it I think so when was the last time that you thought of Eric Dier yeah you think Eric Dier's shit but he's alright yeah because his name is Eric Dier You do think Eric died of shit, but he's actually all right. Yeah, he was all right like 10 years ago. What a good season last year. No, he just won the league. Yeah. And he's got a sort of a mullet as well, like a skinhead mullet. I did have Ben Mee, but I took him out for Takaoski. You know how I feel about him. You love him. But do you underrate him? I thought it was a personal underrate.
1:22:54He overrates him. You said he was... No, I know he's great. He's underrated by you. Got you, got you, got you. He's good. Tamari still to get...
1:23:02Reev:Oh, keeping up with Abra, yeah. Yeah, Abra. Keeping up with AC Mal. I always keep up to date with him. Yeah, yeah. Don't really hear about him because he's abroad. Yeah. It's because he's not doing anything either. Yeah, has he played? He actually had a good season last year. He played like 30 games last season. Yeah, he played well. Where did Milan come in the league? When they're like fucking eighth or ninth. Isn't it Abraham? He's got a goal. Isn't it the lowest finish in like 15 years? I'm looking into this, by the way. Do you know how shit Tammy Abrahams has been? He's scored two goals. Hasn't he gone now?
1:23:31He's a shit task.
1:23:32Reev:He's scored two goals last season. He played like 30 games. He actually scored 10 goals. Isn't it like Milan's No he scored 10 Milan finished 8 In the league Milan finished 8 For last season It would have been a lot lower Without Tomori And he got 3 goals In the league That's Oh sorry Tommy Abrams Tomori only played 20 games last season So it's Tomori I bet he's rated the club Why do you keep pluralising his name Abraham Abraham 22 games 6.8 rating He's got a Galatasaray So you're keeping up to date with him Yeah yeah yeah English guy abroad Yeah That sounds like a start Of like a rap English guy abroad So I'm playing five in midfield, starting on the right wing with a langer.
1:24:09People play... Yeah, this is my tactic. Everyone's saying, oh, so much money. He's fucking unreal. I haven't seen anyone say it's a bad signing. Everyone says he's saying what a great signing that is. People saying how much money it is. Very good bit of business. In midfield, Grob, do you know how good he's done at Dortmund? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's scored like 12 fucking goals in the league. I forgot he even exists. Exactly. He's unreal. He's got zero goals in the league. No, he hasn't. He has zero goals in the league. What last season? Oh, tennis is sorry. I'll be looking at the wrong thing. Still, Tennessee, and it rated him seven average rating.
1:24:46That's fine. He rated him seven. One goal last year. No, he is fucking classic. Yeah, give him his credit, man. Go on, give him Grob his credit. In midfield. Look down the lenses there. Keep going, Grob. I Grob, big fan, as you know. I feel like everyone rates gross. I didn't know he's existed. He was permanently underrated until he left. Ah, gross. us. No one thinks about him anymore. Grob is great, man. Next are Reindeers.
1:25:11Reev:Reindeers? Reindeers? Reindeers. Man City just over 60 million. Everyone's talking, it was like 45. Oh, sorry, yeah. Everyone's talking about all the players. This guy's Prime Gundogan. Can you say a single name right? We all thought he only pulls, obviously, Santa, but he doesn't. he's more than that yeah he's good man he's a good big good sign this next player this is not I've always reared him and he is now rated in the country that he's in but I still think back here in England he's still looked down on because of his name McTominay I know he's just won like over there they love him and he's hero but I always won the league MVP nah I always sung his praises when he was here at Man United and then he's went away we're talking about that now not a year ago even now he's went away I still think in this country we're like McTominay he's fucking under the leg He's got a big source now.
1:26:00Reev:He's dressed like an Italian god. He's not unbelievable. He's just one player of the season. It's because bicycle kicks for fun. He's got a new designer. If Phil Foden went over to Italy and did that, you'd be fucking wanking him off. You would be. You're underrated. You underrate him. I do. Maybe, yeah, because I don't think he's that good. He's got new sunglasses and new haircut. He's fucking unbelievable. And a tan. I think he's a decent player. He's phenomenal. He's not. Where do you get this? Left wing, Badueck. Yeah. Underrated. I don't think he's the right player for Arsenal to side, but at the same time I still think he's a good player and I feel like because of that he's getting shat on a lot I think people forget he is a good player he's a very good player absolutely he's a good player he's just not the up front I have Dzeko so this guy is 39 he scored like 19-20 goals last season isn't he just the same as like Brackett's Giroud where you go well he's been great for a long while but he's not he's 39 still bagging almost 20 goals a season I feel like everyone always rates him exactly Dzeko's never been out of the spectrum of not being rated who's he playing for Friar Antino Well he's just signed For Fionteri now Well yeah no But he played last season I found a batch Alright See I got my You're trying to Come at me Yeah he's gone back To Italy's top league I feel like he's always Been a player That everyone goes Yeah he's solid But now he's still Doing it man I'm not a Levendofsky And finally Osserman Because Right Why Why Will piss himself Why the fuck Is an Arsenal Not going for Osserman He scored 30 plus City goals last season And he's still And no one's going for him He's going back to Turkey I play with his qualities and he's not yeah and they're spending 70 million on him I know but like why I honestly think he's perfect for Arsenal I don't understand why you're going for I feel like so he's underrated because Arsenal Football Club haven't signed him yes okay right I would also put a lot of money on the fact you've never watched a full game of Aussie Man or a minute or a minute so why do you know he's so perfect I'll tell you why he's watched he's watched the clip where he does three knee ups takes it around and then crosses it into Farishelly on the other side Nah, mate, he's fast, he's powerful How do you know?
1:27:58FIFA I watch him all the time FIFA I'm a big fan of the Turkish leagues League League I don't think you've ever watched him play I'll be honest Jake, be honest I've not played awesome I've watched awesome I can't, I can't, I can't What's the second division in Turkey?
1:28:12Liga B
