In short
The episode is a heated Premier League debate and match-reaction show focused on Newcastle vs Liverpool, plus early-season opener Arsenal vs Coventry, and other opening-week results (Man United vs Hull, Spurs vs Brentford). Topic highlights: whether Newcastle’s striker Alexander Isak is “the most important player for every club,” and whether Liverpool’s new/returning striker Darwin Nunez (referred to as “Virts”) is actually good enough; Newcastle’s midfield/forward balance after new signings; Arsenal’s title case after a dominant win; and managerial/tactical concerns around Man United’s start.
Guests
The episode is hosted by multiple Newcastle/PL-focused pundits (no names given in the transcript). They speak as fans/analysts: one strongly defends Newcastle’s Isak and praises Newcastle’s counterattacking and new signings; another is more skeptical about Isak’s chance-taking and questions his finishing; others discuss Arsenal, Spurs, and Man United with club-specific confidence.
Key claims and notable examples
Newcastle looked better than expected at St James’ Park, especially on the counter; Lewis Hall made a late mistake but was otherwise praised. Isak was criticized as “useless” in the Liverpool game, with repeated references to missed chances and penalty-taking controversy (penalty taker debate). Arsenal were dominant vs Coventry, with Solis praised as aggressive/direct and “better than Martinelli” in impact. Man United were criticized for lacking identity/style and for failing to break Hull’s “back five” setup, with Hull’s set-piece threat highlighted (McBurnie scoring). Spurs were described as improving after Fernandes came on, despite poor defending and missed chances.

Welcome back to Pitchside. Hey guys! The show where Newcastle are forever on a title charge until they're not. No, it's a 10 point buffer as we established many seasons ago. You are within 10 points. Every team is in their title list as things stand. You know the rest here other is yeah, let's touch on Newcastle to begin with oh yeah, great Newcastle's first in the prep man.
1:11Oh hell yeah, and you guys all we stream you guys If you weren't watching the stream, we've got a brand new cool last segment related to dabble where you can win money So get involved in the streams for the future of pitch side Yeah, Newcastle to Liverpool to Lewis Initial thoughts on not bad for relegation bound team is it? You know one put you in a lot of that's been the chaff for the entire preseason and relegation battles, all this, and then boom, we come out and we're slightly better than we thought. It's exactly... No, but we can't honestly say that you were going to be relegation for it, can we?
1:46That was the chat from a lot of people. No one on the show said that. Two weeks ago, or last week, wherever it was, you put a mate, I think you might put a mate, I'll put them in lemon. There's a world outside this show. I'm not saying it's like, but it was definitely a lot of chat about Newcastle in trouble, the way down there, blah, blah, blah. Even Gary Neville was saying I thought they were going to struggle bad. I don't think so. Well, if you're in the title race, you're also in the relegation scrap at the same time. Anything can happen. We can only go off what we've seen. You come up against a pretty lackluster Liverpool.
2:13They were poor, weren't they? Yeah, no, but that's one way of saying that Newcastle were good. Yeah, Newcastle played well. Their full backs were just shitting themselves the entire time from our wingers. Well, they're not very good. They were really, really good on the counter. Isaac was... Shit as expected. We should get into Isaac separately, but just on the topic of Newcastle playing well, a lot of the new signings coming in. I mean, Wesson didn't really hit the ground running last season, but already that's his best performance in the black and white shirt, isn't it? It should have cost£70 million with performances like that.
2:48Do you know what? He actually was fit, and I'm not meaning this in the way you think, but he was fit as fuck. Like, he was everywhere. He was proper nuisance, playing in the 10 and then moved up. he was better when he was a nine really I thought I feel like I'd rather play Ramsey but he was unbelievable he will be the ten moving forward will he not or will he be the nine I think he's playing about with it at the moment yes sir because Isul is like good as well but the problem is it's just like the problem is I have with both of them I don't trust either of them to take the chances that come their way which is like kind of essential well he should have scored that one he should have scored a couple the one where it's come straight across the six yard box and he just decided to not when he had the one on one as well I agree the one on one yeah but that's always the concern about us finishing but overall like Denic was class that's his first time he was good for us I actually quite liked him really good Sean Sturr Kiphol was good Hornacek was good really good I'm happy yeah I feel bad for Lewis Hall though because he was unbelievable all game but then just one mistake at the very end do you think moving forward that will be your midfield then Sturr alongside Miley or Bamber will fully cement himself in that I really don't know because we're signing Nico Gonzalez and that just came like close to the presuming so yeah City offloading a lot of players well even yesterday like City had that gear here in midfield they subbed on midfielders Nico was on news on the bench so Nico that's how I call it first name well at least you've watched his highlights because he was already in the Premier League so that's good yeah but what so I don't know how it's all going to work we're going to have tons like Willock's supposed to be going but he came on and obviously instantly made a difference yesterday conversely are you not a little bit worried that that's quite representative of how Newcastle performed in previous seasons like you've let it slip in the final minutes kind of again not so much because when it normally we wouldn't have even got the second goal back ahead it would have went 2-1 Liverpool like that's how it would have worked like the fact that we managed to get a goal again and then we kept pushing and we should have really went 3-1 like I'm not that worried about it we actually showed a little bit of bottle and I like the manager as well he's yeah it's a different type of aura on the sideline isn't it on Matthias Jaisel yeah you think he's going to be the man for the for the future of Newcastle you think he's I mean it's really really early for it but like do you like what you see it looks good he's very I don't know if you've seen any of his interviews he's definitely not media trained like some of the stuff I tell you isn't either James Traffitt he's really really honest James Traffitt's interview there's a court retweet he's like he's proper weird isn't he have you seen the Kyle of the Dragon comparisons light for light man he's unbelievable no but like he got asked straight up about Lewis Hall and nobody dodged the question and he's just he's just like yeah no chance he's gone and then again obviously last week you came in the prediction of asula alanga 40 goal contributions collected for the goal alanga took it really well yeah like that's that's prime man today and langa you excited for the season i'm so happy right now look i can't stop smiling just because i'm i'm kind of just like really relieved i know i said we'll finish seven but that was a lot of out of hoping that this scenario would happen but i'm just glad like we didn't lose 4-0 and Isaac didn't score because that would have been a fucking rough day for me today and then obviously Joe Willock with his goal are you he has to go he has to go do you think do you think he will be yeah he has to I mean 17 million for Joe Willock on one year left on his contract like it was signing more midfielders he asked me he has to go do you want to keep him around I kind of did yesterday yeah who else who are you bringing in that's like for life I think like we already have I don't know what the plan is So we have Ramsey And then we have Bringing in Nico To be like the whole midfielder Then we have Bamber Who's supposed to be like The Tenardi replacement So we've You've got Miley and Sturr So like there's just no room For a Willock there There's no legs in there though Is there Yeah there is Yeah there is Nico Gonzalez can't run Ramsey's got a bit of legs About him Miley's got legs He's not going to start Is he Ramsey Is Ramsey not the The starting 10 for you In the future Who Ramsey Is that not the play I think we should move up and we should put Ramsey in the turn in my opinion it's a bit early for him anyway going back to Izak you're just far away mate say what you want to say all I want to say is right some people have things coming in their life you know like I feel like karma's a real thing like you give what you get in the world and it reciprocates it's a mirror so when this little rat knobhead skives every single chance obviously too shitty ass to take the penalty he's absolutely useless ever since he stepped first at Anfield he's an absolute disgrace of a person He's not the penalty taker Yeah do you know what if you had a bit of balls about him saying no Shrubby I'm going to take this I was going to ask this Do you think he is?
7:27Of course he is or do you think it was just circumstances and then you No I wanted Zach on that so far because he would have missed It's like saying if he was on Vert should have taken it to get a Subozlo is the penalty taker It's such a But I could see he's taking the next one It's a mundane argument Subozlo is the penalty taker that's it I hope he is I'd have loved he's had to take it just for the cinema of the game but whether he missed or scored but suppose I was a penalty taker this is such a non-starter of a conversation it makes no sense people talking about it I don't know if it's fully confirmed I've seen loads of people online on about it suppose I was a penalty taker that is it all I loved yesterday was coming back because obviously we watched the streams on mute so we don't get copyrighted and just seeing I just love football like that I love football's about winning yes but it's also about hating more than anything and i hate that guy and i'll i'll see him with reed before i'll never meet him in my life and you know what if we went around the pub like he probably he wouldn't be all right because i know he's a fucking snake but i could probably do with him there you know what i mean like that friend who invites himself along but like genuinely like i hate him like i hate anyone in the world and just seeing all the videos of every time he fucking skived a sitter was absolutely useless he couldn't touch the ball and control it save his life he was clearly the the crowd's in his head because he fucking couldn't run five yards without fucking up.
8:48Who do you think's more? He did have one good moment when he turned Botman and then they gave a foul when he put, someone went through, didn't they? And they flagged offside. Do you know what? I think that's worth it because he was on the floor, there's screenshots of him on the floor like, and I'm like, inject it, you rat. Who do you think's more rent-free? The Newcastle crowd in Izak's head or Izak in your head? I don't think, I think it's not rent-free if it's like, that's that game and then we'll, You've gone quite red. Yeah, because I, 50 ,000 degrees in here. I don't think it's Renfri. I just love to hate him.
9:19It's the same way I love to hate a load of people in football. That's what football's about. You do talk about him every episode. No, I'll just throw in a little jive because it's my agenda. Well, it's fine now because you've got, what, 17 weeks until you've probably played him again so you don't have to concentrate on his career anymore. Can I see what's weird? It's weird that people are like, acting like this is Newcastle specific and he's like specific. It's like every football fan has went through a time where they've hated a player. I used to hate, Henry Lansbury with an absolute passion because he got Shelby sent off.
9:47Like, that's football. You met him though, didn't you? I mean, you met him since. I didn't realise he shaved his socks off. He's luckier than fucking realised as well. I'm coming for you, Lansbury. Oh, God. Well, yeah, just touching on Liverpool. I thought they were pretty poor, but they still came away with a point. That's a big point at St. James' part. First game of the season. They still knew to... I don't know. I think so. I think they would have took a point before the game. I mean, I thought they were going to beat you comfortably, but I'm quite surprised at how well I couldn't understand that I don't know I haven't understood the narrative about Newcastle either like they're fine they just yeah yeah we're all on the show I think it's a lot of the unknown it's just the unknown but you seem to think that there's this massive consensus saying you're going down there's a portion of people who are like what we all think and it's like yeah we'll be fine but there's a huge portion where they think we're in trouble like even Neville was saying on the hashtag Gary Neville podcast he was like he thought we were going to be like bang in trouble like you have to remember but like even against them there put it out there man even against like Liverpool like we lost Joel Linton like who's our engine midfield you'd say like you'd lost Dan Byrne it was like the portman hadn't been looking good Dedic hasn't even played with anyone yet like we shouldn't have got anything from Liverpool really when they've had a more cohesive pre-season they haven't though they've lost loads Liverpool on they don't even have a start in XI Gakpo's meant to be out and he was their best player he's meant to be leaving yeah literally they're playing a left wing at right wing and Virts is just I'm sick of him like we need to just Munoz was good Munoz was good when he come on but they haven't had a settle back four like Kyrgios fuck knows what he's going to be like Frimpong is useless the midfield's been scrapped he's not a right back is he so Liverpool are they're still in a massive they still need some big signings man they need some big signings they need another force of Bozlice that's what they need it is mental when you like look at like and like Izak's obviously shit but then Virts as well it's like they've sort of been given like the benefit of down for a while, but surely, can we just all admit that they've really just shitted football at this point?
11:47Isaac, we know Isaac isn't there. No, but how much time have you given him then? Verts, I'm done with Verts. I'll just think... Why aren't you done with Isaac? Because I've seen him do it in the Premier League. He's a proven Premier League striker and he's coming back from big injuries, so whether he can come back is a different question, but I know Isaac can do it. Verts, I have no evidence whatsoever. This bloke can do it in the Premier League. He's pardipuff. He doesn't get involved in the game enough. When he does get involved, it's nowhere near positions where he can hurt the opposition team.
12:20He's had a few nice moments last season against Wolves and fucking burnt. Sorry, that isn't enough for me. I want more. I mean, getting subbed at the 60s means it's quite... Exactly, when you need a goal and you take it... And I'm sorry, I understand the price tag isn't his fault. But at the same time, you've spent all this money on this bloke. I expect more. that's the whole point of signing this you expect to be given something that argument can also now be made for it's at a point now he's had a pre-season he's back from injury you have to expect more than what he did and now I do there's no more excuses for he's he has to now deliver but I think he will I think he's good it depends on the injuries again Virg has had a complete free run since he's come to Liverpool so he's got no excuses to not perform.
13:08He's been playing every game, most minutes, in a position that should suit him in a good team and he hasn't delivered anything. He's actually played with injuries. He hasn't had a clear run in the team. Now he has. He's had a World Cup, a pre-season, and now he's going to be the starting striker with Noe Katike. Now deliver. And if he doesn't, then yeah. Well, it's early years now. But he has more room for me to... Credit in the bank. Yeah, he has more credit in the bank because of what he's done and we know he's one of the best strikers in the world at his best. So what I'm confused is where's your confidence that he's going to get back to?
13:40Because as you say, he's had a World Cup, he's had a pre-season, he's not injured and yesterday he was equally as bad as he was. Because it's one game. But we're going to talk about the one game. I understand. But as moving into the season, he was equally as bad yesterday, if not worse, than he was for all last season when he was riddled with injuries. So I don't think it's his whole injury thing. I think the injuries have taken a yard off him. They are serious things. Yeah, you might be right but I still think he's good enough to get back to the level in that team. I just think he is. Whereas Virts, I haven't seen any evidence he's even at that level.
14:12It's not a difficult concept. And after one game, I'm not going to write him off just because it's a bit of a weird game as well. It's a weird game from coming back to Newcastle all the stick he was getting. So I'm not going to judge him off one game and just go, oh, well, he's definitely done. He might be, but I don't think he is and I don't think Liverpool would pursue with him if they thought he was done either. Haaland didn't play well yesterday I still think Haaland's going to score 20 odd goals I still think I think when Eketika is back and I said this as soon as like the transfers happen I think Eketika is going to be the one like Isak will get you Eketika's going to be out for the whole season I don't think Isak is that player now who's going to go and do 20 goals a season with him at all I think he still can be mate come on not to be cundee I've seen signs but like genuinely some of the that chance on the edge of the box to sky that there's like a three yard header even before when he had a ball pinged into him and he just touches it 10 yards that way like that sort of lack of sharpness after a welcome pre-season I feel like that is something you can take from but then you take what about the odd good moments he did have he was still showing a bit of class there's that one time he turned to him and he got clattered and other than that I don't see what these good moments are genuinely but Liverpool didn't have much to be fair he didn't get much service yeah there was a chance Virg spends most of the time fucking 50 yards away from him so it's hard for him to link up with players they go wide a lot as well and a lot of the time Izak's making runs front post and the ball's going back post and it's like no but there's a time where Izak was he was breaking this is not a classic Izak moment he's breaking you've got the defenders retreating on the left and he passes it and there's three Liverpool players to the right he passes it like behind one in front of the other and it goes to no one and it slows everything down and we regroup and I'm like that there is normally the classic Izak's he had a bad game but it's also a confidence thing especially with strikers if Izak gets a run or gets a few goals in the next few games and he's just like, and Liverpool find this new system under Iriola and are doing what people expect them to do.
16:11I think it's silly to suggest he's at won't or couldn't be that 20-goal-assist striker for Liverpool. I'm not saying couldn't. He did it for Newcastle, who aren't as good as Liverpool. Jacob Murphy. He only started 14 Premier League games last season. So you've got to take that. And a lot of them would have been not full 90 either because he wasn't 100 % fit. So how many games do we think we need to you know when do we make a judgment on him then he's had a World Cup in pre-season like this we can't keep stalling it and giving benefit it's now it's now and that first game is the first sign let's see how it goes second but it's like how much time are we going to give this 125 million player who's had a whole he's not injured now he's fit right now it is kind of like now is the start of his Liverpool career isn't it because of what's happened last season this is the first time they've had him fully fit ready to go for the season so now it starts now yeah you're right that's not true He came back from his injury and he had a few bad games and then Slot said, right, right now it starts, like this is Isaac.
17:07And he had a string of about seven games and he was fucking shit. But he was coming back, he was coming back from a massive injury. Okay, now it starts. Because he was coming back from a massive injury. No, no, he had a few games against him. And the Liverpool manager said, now it starts. But when Van Dijk come back from an ACL, he wasn't good for six months and then after that, Rodri, another one, yeah. He takes time with these big injuries. The Liverpool manager wouldn't say, you can start judging him now if he didn't believe it. The Liverpool manager also wouldn't come out and go, no, he's not ready.
17:36Managers say things. You can't take everything they say. I'm going to listen to a manager when he says what managers and players say as gospel like you did with fucking Bruno. They say what you want to hear. It's a completely separate argument. I never directly quoted anything from Bruno. This is a slot after a few games when he came back from an injury and Isaac was a bit shit and then he had his fitness and he said you can start judging him now and he went on to be shit and now you're saying oh now we can start judging him he's been shitty ever since he's been I don't care what Slott says I'm giving my opinion no you've said it's the first time that they've had in my opinion it is but it isn't it categorically isn't because Arnie Slott the manager said right now here we go coming back from a massive injury and then having a run of seven games he had a few games before he said that isn't the same isn't the same as having a whole summer a World Cup and a pre-season and coming into the season fully fit and firing I think that's completely different so in my opinion now I'll start judging him and if he doesn't deliver then I'll happily say and slay him and go he's not good enough and he's not delivering but in my opinion this is the first time Izak has been ready and fit and firing to go off the back of a summer a pre-season you ask any player who's ever lived it's massive not having a summer or a pre-season and he's had that so now in my opinion I don't care what Arnie fucking Slott said he got sacked I think now I'll start to judge him from this moment properly and I won't give him any grace and I won't say, oh, well, he had an injury, this and that.
19:02He's ready now. He's fit. He's ready. He's had a pre-season. He's had the World Cup. Now I'll judge him. There's still a player in there. Yeah, no, but you still are giving him grace. I know it's only been one game, but you still are. I'm not giving him grace. It's one game. Yeah, it's one. Yeah, no, but like, that's what we're going to be talking about one game today. It's not like it's been one game and let's not talk about anything. He was shit. Yeah, he played badly, but he was shit. useless but you are giving him grace where it's like yeah but it's a weird game and it's one game he's off the back of a world cup where again he was useless what did he do he scored a few didn't he useless mate he was fucking shit that's not fair he didn't know yeah but i mean it's opening away game at a club that are completely hostile towards honestly it's different to like a home game against hall if he bangs a brace against forest next week then you'd be like oh well, fair enough.
19:53I'll probably back the bottom. For me, it's like that moment on the edge of the box. You have so much space and he just plays it all over. Life strikers don't miss chances. Mate, Harlan missed one from six yards. But like, it's... Can we all agree he was useless yesterday? Yeah, I do agree with that. But I also don't think that he's going to be shit. We'll do a weekly check-in and see when he turns into this player. Yeah, we can. We can do that. But let's keep an Isaac tally. Yeah. We'll keep an Isaac tally and see how he's... Shit or good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then by the end of the season, he's either going to be 19 plus on good or 19 plus on bad.
20:23Alright. Right, moving on to a game that we didn't stream but indeed the Premier League opener. Arsenal versus Coventry. Back in the Prem after a long while. What did you make of Coventry's performance? Fucking wang. Yeah, I'm sorry. We're fucking back. You can't be coming into the Premier League with Thomas Asante starting. Yeah. That cannot run. Why is it one you're not starting off the rip? Is he just not fully fit for? I honestly don't know. Ellis Sims. at least him did well I thought he did alright him versus Gabriel was quite funny mate he spun him in the first half but yeah Rodoni didn't start either which I thought was strange I don't know Coventry's line up was a bit strange again I'm not tuned in to how many injuries or knocks they've got but I thought it was yeah I was a bit surprised with how they lined up I just thought they were par de puff and look Rushworth's class it's a great signing for them but he's got to do better for the goal especially the early guard one but then also at the same time they're playing the best team in Europe yeah away game opening night I'm happy to give Coventry grace on that out of interest what did you guys predict for the game because for me 3-1 I can't remember that was like the biggest 3-0 I think Lewis said 3-0 did you I went 3-1 I thought they would have got a goal I tell you what though Solis looks so good he does look good man you take a pinch of salt obviously like against Coventry but like they just couldn't fucking hack it I know you're going to say it's a preseason friendly I guess so and he just grew with the crowd as well he's going to be a fan favourite he's so much better than Martinelli everywhere it's because he's just aggressive and direct he's just a decision maker he's just better than him as well he actually gets past them and gets into those spaces he's coming in off the back of two ridiculous seasons I know it's a different level he gets the ball I love players it's like Cunha their first thought is where's the goal yeah whether i'm gonna shoot or create that you see the one where it came back to him off the corner he's just let it straight there's so many times like he cut in like you kind of know what he's gonna do but he just shifts it and like they're the best players the one early like it was actually a lot closer then it looked alive um he just whipped it and it just went past the top right yeah quite early on i just thought he's really good man i like him a lot arsenal arsenal looked excellent like that's exactly how you should start your season and five substitutions and each one we brought on was like where's the drop in quality?
22:51And look who you were taking off, Rice. That's the whole I've said it all pre-season I'm convinced Arteta's looked at that Champions League and gone. That's why we lost that because we just didn't have the legs because I've had to play players too. Rice cannot be playing 60 odd games this season can't, that cannot happen 50 max, you don't want to be wasting Declan Rice for 90 minutes against Coventry whether he's coming back from a knock or what like you just cannot but luckily you have the depth to do like I was surprised with how far Calafiore was getting like Calafiore he's insane he's like a striker literally yeah he might be the most exciting left back they are just by by far and away the best team in the league and I we haven't seen Chelsea obviously we're recording this for Chelsea yeah I would put my life on Arsenal winning the league this season yeah I'm not even there's not even a shredder doubt they'll win the league because I spoke about this the other day with someone Arsenal right whether they are as good or the same or whatever as last season or the last four seasons other than the one season when I think you dropped to like 71 points when I think Liverpool won it Arsenal are absolutely guaranteed we've seen it the evidence is there they're going to get 85 points minimum and they're better and the league's weaker this year the top teams the competition's up strong they're going to get 90 points there's not one team in this league that is capable of getting 90 points I think other than Arsenal so I think they're going to absolutely walk it and I saw the post-match interview well discussion from Carragher and he's absolutely right in saying that the signers that we've brought in don't necessarily elevate the ceiling of the squad but like the floor is so much higher now so like if we lose a Saliba Esri Conce is in for obviously 55 million what do you mean it doesn't I think it does elevate I think Solis, Bruno and Conce elevate you as a squad yeah but then they're not the players that we have in like the positions i.e.
24:48Rice I mean even Lewis Skelly to a degree now and Odegaard performing in the manner that he is like the base of where Arsenal are is so much higher than what the players being brought like it doesn't it doesn't take us from champions to more champions it just takes us from being unbeatable if that makes sense right do you see what I mean kind of you're talking about depth yeah yeah yeah like the entire the entire squad is just so much better in terms of the floor make your squad elevated. Yeah, but what I mean is we haven't brought in we haven't brought in signings that are like the peak of Bruno.
25:26I think Solis and Bruno are. They make you start at 11th stronger. Do you think Solis is like a world-class player? He's better than what you had. I don't know yet, but he's better than what you had at left wing. He's an improvement on left wing. Bruno's an improvement on your centre mid. Conte's an improvement on Muscara or Hincapia. Yeah, yeah, yeah. obviously I know Saliba's out I just think all over the pitch like Ben White Timber's not even back Ben White was great do you think Timber comes back in? I don't know I think so he likes Timber doesn't he Timber was unbelievable last season are you concerned about the Bruno injury?
26:01no that's the one he had last season with us where he was out for a while that was his first big one the thing is I would have been but I've seen Lewis Skelly in midfield now I can't remember what I was saying to those like Bruno is similar to Rice in that like we ran him to the ground as well so I hope it's not like a it's unfortunate from like that was it six weeks six weeks injury yeah and that's Arteta's 150th Premier League victory in charge of Arsenal quite impressive that it's incredible what he's built there to be fair yeah and then Villa next week good time to play Villa it's nil yeah my god they're in trouble a little one on Arteta you mentioned him before that was his 150th Premier League victory for Arsenal now one of only five managed to reach 150 wins in fewer than 250 games after Pep Mourinho Klopp and Fergie which seriously he's up there with the elite now isn't he yeah he's built what he wanted to build I know it took a while to do so and a lot of people kind of all set her out during the period you've got to give credit to Arsenal as a club backing him sticking with him me and others I wasn't convinced he was the man to get you over the line I thought he'd taken you as far as he could but I mean I couldn't have been more wrong and build him when he's on top as well with Premier League that's how to do it that's what Fergie did all them years win the league and then buy the best player in the league that's the MO and it's the time to do it and I almost feel a bit sorry for Arsenal because of everyone else's kind of drop off and transition and all managers and basically none of the top teams there's going to be an asterisk yeah I don't buy into that they're just by far and away the best team I don't think anyone remembers that and cares about that long term like you've won the Prem in it no of course but then there's always going to be a case of oh well you won the easiest league possible last year when you're comparing against the best teams ever you do like I always look at that City team that beat that Liverpool team that's got to be one of the best ever because they beat that team but as an Arsenal fan who gives a fuck exactly we're the best team in the league and potentially getting yielders as well by the end of the transfer window I don't know about that is that what you need well he'll be playing off the left so I mean if Martin and early goes, then that's a great bit of...
28:12He's looking to go to Saudi? Yeah. Be the most expensive sale ever for Arsenal. It's still going to get a striker. Everyone's allowed to sell to Saudi. But us? Do you think the handbrake's fully off this season for Arsenal then? Yeah, you can kind of see it in the performance. I know it's only Coventry. It's an early example. Yeah. The movement that we have between Erdegaard, Saka, etc. They're just playing with free... New hair stuff. Saka as well. Saka worries me. Unlock new things. Does he? He looks half a yard off it, man. I don't know if that injury's like... Still good though. I know but he doesn't look as sharp as the Saka I remember do you not think I think he looks sluggish at times I think it's because we don't need to rely on him individually anymore I know but even times where he's squaring up his defender he hasn't got that like burst he always had I don't know Saka's obviously his ability's unquestionable but you are right though he has been running to the ground I don't know do you think he had that was it Achilles injury he had where it's a bit like it's a tough one to come back from that worries me that especially in terms of being a quick winger originally half a bit half a yard is a damaged thing but yeah if you're Arsenal you're absolutely laughing well the midfield in the defence is going to win us the league yeah whatever happens with the front line whoever the signers we make congratulations you won the win yeah I mean it's not bad is it laughing but yeah Coventry I wouldn't be too worried but their home form is going to be there what they worry about Coventry going up or down and ain't going to be based on away at the Emirates.
29:39No. True. It's an interesting game for them next week, though, because they have, what, Hull at home? Yeah. And Hull have just come off the back of beating Manchester United. It's not ideal that the other two teams have won. It's a completely different game, though. Yeah. And that was... They were probably the two worst games in the Championship last season, both those games. Hull and Coventry. Oh, right, yeah. Nil-nil both games. Really? By the way. The most anti-football. This was so close to being my perfect. I couldn't have picked the results better this week, except for most concealing but this made me so happy except for well FPL fuck me but Hull winning 2-0 was so good actually good you know I just don't know how to defend set pieces apparently oh no McBurnie running through like four plays that was such a good moment like prime fucking Ronaldo yeah McBurnie's so important to them yeah yeah so important we'll get on to that later on oh well yeah okay right I was absolutely I don't want to try and be a note of but I wasn't surprised but the Man United didn't win wait they're title contenders they can't string three passes together they're title contenders I don't understand you can't just rely on quality you need some sort of identity some sort of style and Carrick ain't good enough to do it I said he's first a sack and I thought maybe there might be a promoted team but the promoted teams have won I got cruciified for putting him seventh in my predictions or why he's got an agenda no I don't I just think your manager's shit true and the signage you've made aren't that good they are so fucking unathletic in midfield it's embarrassing Telemans Jesus Christ like believe that they need him desperately that would be a very good sign of them but that doesn't help the back four well Harry Maguire was their best attacker in the last like 15 minutes of the game which is ridiculous like Maui and like oh god look you know what Hull are going to do like they're going to try and mech it hard and they're going to try and hurt you on set pieces and they were the deliveries though Who was that Gizu on there?
31:36Some good deliveries. He's good. That's what they need though. They can pick up goals from that throughout the season. Is Sammy Adjoi ex-Westbrook? Yeah. Two centre-backs getting a goal. Noble Mendy. Adjoi's decent. The new centre-half was good as well. The goalkeeper looked good for them as well. Came off injured there, right? Yeah, they're going to spend more as well. Hull, they're all going to keep spending. They're going to need more players. Well, they cut to the owner like 15 times during the game. He's mental. Nah, by the way, honestly, I love the Prem so much. the cut to the train station after it's announced yeah yeah yeah no train time oh what a shit dear get it you're stuck in Hull yeah but is it panic stations from Manchester United or is it just too early to tell because it's different this week you think so yes Hull like Hull I know I'm just I'm sorry no disrespect to Hull even Hull fans won't like I don't even think Hull fans like will admit that they expected He's expected anyone to not predict them to go down or whatever.
32:35And it is one game. And obviously it's my first game back and everyone's excited. And these things can happen. But it's more the performance. Yeah. You know, if they went there and like Hall got two lucky goals and United just missed loads of chances and you're thinking, do you know what? But they barely created anything. Yeah. I was thinking like when they went about the transfers, like, honestly, I've never been like, he's all right. I don't think he's. That's what I mean. But like at the time people like there was stuff like, oh, good sign. Even Telemans, he's a good player, but he's 29. But he needs someone behind him.
33:05And it's like, oh, he's great. Dorgoo. Yeah, I know. What's happened with Amad? Is he just injured? Don't know. Because he's kind of valked to that system a little bit. Dorgoo was shocking. Was Ben do playing? No, he came on. Yeah, injured. Came on. Is he injured? Amad is. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Bwema was shocking. Yeah, he was poor. Cunha didn't do it. I just thought, if I'm a Man United fan, I'd be worried about that. bearing in mind on the back of last season all the positivity and then coming into this you've had a whole pre-season to implement what you want to do and you go there and stink the gap out.
33:40Also the big worry is because you went against what you said you were going to do and got mistaken with the purple patch you've got a manager who's inexperienced at a big club at Man United when things go wrong and all of a sudden being, I feel bad for him but being Carrick and being a club legend doesn't work for you anymore you have to he has no experience on how to turn that around which is why like we were saying on the pod ignore these good results it's great you're in Champions League now get a proper manager in who's really experienced at this level it's like what I've said for months since he was being in charge he had a free it last year a free it he couldn't fail because he'd just come in just to kind of steady the ship now there's expectation on him and that's a different story when you're the manager of Manchester United the biggest club in the country it's one of the hardest jobs in the world now it's not Oh Carrick Oh we love you Yeah Oh just Like after hammering Basically you could have Bought a slug in And they could have Done a better job So he's come in Basically said He's done a good job Admittedly He did well When he came in Playing once a week The Manchester slug And now Now there's Now there's Actual expectation on him It's a completely Different job And I don't know If he's I agree A couple of Stats to throw at you I just want to Get you fortunate 72 % possession Not surprising Attempted more passes Than they did Any other game Last season 21 shots in total But can you really remember any million times.
35:00The thing is, Hull went into that game not trying to have possession. They said we're back five. You have possession because we're letting you have possession. That's our plan. You're going to have the ball. So stuff like that, it's not going to be like that when Man United play a team we want to be for the ball. I think I read somewhere as well that Carrick's win rate against back five teams is just like minimal. He does no answers for that. He stopped crying about agendas. There's no agenda. we've seen the evidence we carry the two massive ones for me last season were the Leeds game at home and the Newcastle one away when Newcastle had 10 men and they have no idea how to change it and break them down to me that's a massive massive sign that this bloke is not good enough for this level tactically first ever time they've lost to a promoted team on the opening day of the season as well 13 times have done that big warning signs more history being broken at Man United I just think yeah look who knows we might be wrong but I'm pretty strong on this and I've just seen the evidence I just think he's a really really average manager tactic yeah we put him in an average category we don't think he was that good I feel bad because the expectations on him and like he hasn't been backed at all in the transfer market I'm good all these United fans saying they're going to finish second or third no but like he's just like their transfer business is shit like they should have went for realistically like Lewis Hall right at the start of the window before we started off-loading everyone.
36:26But they're going for Bowley, aren't they? Well, no, they said they were in for Fernandes and Spurs outbid them. It's like, how's that happening? Yeah, so like a lot of it... Because you're trying to be clever because it's a bit like, oh, we don't want to overspend like we have in the past. Just go and get the players. But I admit, Lewis Hall, if you really want Lewis Hall, it should have been done to start the win though. Go and just give them 80 million, just sort it. But they're not going to sell it now. They're all around 40, 50. I'm like, well, you're just not going to get Lewis Hall for 50 million, are you?
36:53I think believers are massive. It's the transfer. Believers are massive one if they get in. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think that's done, isn't it? You've got Hope East Day. They still need two centre-halves and two full-backs. Yeah. Yeah, the entire back line is no more. It's the same, someone who said it the other day, it might have been Carragher, it's the same back four from five years ago. I know other than Heaven had it started, but that's like, five years of shit and you've still got the same back or like the lip I like the shit one person did play first I'm playing for them since December 2024 Marcus Rashford yeah very quick before we move on to Spurs he had his number like he was beating his man over and over again which I know Tom enjoys but like if he's good enough for Barca no offence to Man United but if he's good enough for Barca I reckon he's good enough for you lads oh yeah 100 % I don't think he's that bad like he actually he looked like he was trying to create stuff I'd be starting Rashford over Dorgue any day.
37:52I don't know what's going on in the world where you should be saying please stay Rashford we need you. Rashford's both legs could fall off and not start him over Dorgue. Yeah. That's not a joke. To another team that are probably in crisis. They're definitely not back just yet. Spurs are back! Oh my god that was amazing. It's another great Tenali hate watch. I was going to say I was like I don't think Spurs could have picked a worse team to play because Brentford are so good They've got all these New signers But like They're not going to be Clicking the same way And they play against A team that Doesn't have all these Standout players But are just Like a cohesive You know That's the worst team They could play You know full well What you're going to get From Brentford Like To back your point up Like You're not going into The unknown Where mate They I don't know They've got five or six New transfers They are just An absolute solid base And they've signed Probably the best player Of the fucking old window In that midfield so they're even better now and you know you're going to go there then there's going to be no respite and there was no respite but I will say one thing on Spurs when Fernandes come on they were a completely different side and they missed three or four massive chances so to kind of back up my point about Man United Spurs don't get me wrong it was shocking some of the goals they gave away terrible and again maybe they still don't they're still not setting the new system of Deserby playing out and this and that I mean Van Hecker Jesus but But if I'm Spurs, yes, it's poor.
39:21And I'm thinking, fucking hell, what a shit result. If they score, if Mikey Moore finishes even one or two with those massive chances, they're back in the game. And you think, you know what? Not too bad. Whereas United, I didn't even see. Yeah. And with that, that's not going to be their front line, is it? Well, no. Richarlison Teller, Mikey Moore. Like, they've just signed Savino and Marmuth. Precisely. So as much as, I think it's not my Spurs loving, it's just. No, there is a point in what you're saying. It is, I saw signs. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There is a point. But a great successful hate watch for me once again there.
39:52Tonali was fucking poo. Yeah, he was marvellous. It's by the way, this is, can I just say that? No, I honestly think Bergvall didn't help him, mate. Oh, no, he's probably the worst face I've ever had. He's so ill-disciplined, you know him. I think he's really talented, Bergvall, but he's so ill-disciplined. He goes everywhere, mate. And he just leaves Tonali. Which works if you're in a 10, but not when you're like a 6 or 8. The thing with Tonali, and he did a few times and every Newcastle fan knows this he'll do a bit of class and he'll take a pass to play and then there'll be a clear honestly five yard pass and he fucking gives it straight to them and it is really it has to be like a lapse of concentration because he is clearly good enough to make a five yard pass when the one's pressing him and like that's why he's so frustrating I wouldn't be too I'd be more worried if he weren't doing the other stuff and I think Fernandes will just absolutely elevate him Fernandes and Tonali together would be good Look, Tonali, when he has a competent partner in that space, then yeah, that's when you get the best out.
40:48I was really impressed with Fernandes when he come on. Mainly because it was just night and day from what we'd seen in the first. He's just... He's going to be huge for them, I think. I do agree. But Bamford, honestly, they are fucking brilliant. They're so good. I mean, they have been through that pre-season too. Just the way they move the ball. And it's literally like the big part of a hive mind and they just know what each person... But the way they move and how quickly they're just... They're not afraid to go direct and longy. When they've got Atara and Charlotte, it's just absolutely rapid as well.
41:20It was just so fun to watch. They're just so good. Going back to Spurs, is it not a bit of a concern that Archie Gray's been given the armband? I thought that was weird. But then again, it's the youngest Spurs captain breaking Harry Kane's record of 21 years. Then again, I said the exact same thing when I saw it. But then I also looked at the team and went, who else are you going to give it? maybe Roberts yeah but that's is that not a concern possibly I don't know because that means also Kinski was terrible yeah he was he was like I'm amazed they haven't gone and signed a goalie I think he is a bit worrying that they haven't well they signed Dubravka I think it's a big by the end of the season Dubravka might be their starting keeper he will but he's really he's good enough but I do think it's a worry because like like Archie Greer we have no idea what he's like behind the scenes but like you have all these big names and big names and big eagles you have people coming from Man City coming in and yeah he's the lad's like 20 year old and like all the way back and he's like oi I want to see you working hard lads who's coming from Man City when Savino Marmins oh when they come in it will be Madison eventually right he's not who also look quite sharp when he come on yeah I honestly would genuinely I honestly oh mate so good that I honestly wouldn't be too worried about it was poor and it was not a good look.
42:42Tough ground to go to first game of the season as well. It is mad how bad they were though. I feel like they will get better but fucking hell lads. No it's exciting. It's exciting to see whether or not if they finish in 17th again. Do you know what it is now? Why I love it a little bit is because of how bad they lost the next game like against Stoops as well with a lot of pressure. That is the one thing. It's now a thing. If they're going to the next game with Savino and Marmouche and still get turned over then it's worrying signs because De Zerbe's had a long time now to embed what he wants to do.

43:10but again we're at the back of a good performance we could do one on them but admittedly we're not the team that's not the full 11 that he wants yeah exactly I honestly think I wouldn't worry too much about Spurs I don't know if we're home or away for what because we play Spurs next probably at Spurs at Spurs yeah you were home yeah Spurs Saturday and you go home away home away yeah half five next Saturday quick game I wanted one little shout out for maybe an underrated player a little stat here Vitali Janel is the only player to a squad in each of Brentford's six Premier League seasons and he got and he got promoted with them.
43:41Another under the radar player. A main star for them there. Do you know who I love? He says a lot about them. I love that Jensen, man. He's one of my favourite players to watch. He's so aesthetically pleasing, man. Damsgaard would start ahead of him, though, in most cases, though, right? I feel like Jensen played a lot last year, but I don't know if it was because they lost... But surely Sangare is now that Jensen slot. Yeah, see, no, Jensen played. He only missed two games in the Premier last season. Jensen's important. he keeps from ticking but fuck me I hate being right how good is Sangare yeah he was brilliant this was a common consensus on the show how fucking good is he he is class he came with a bit of pedigree though didn't he 39 mil for that he's such a good deal he's probably the best sign of the summer and at the back Lewis Potter Lewis Potter's improved so much you know yeah well going from left wing to left back I remember when he first came into the team he was a bit erratic he seemed a bit lightweight he's just like really soft I can't praise Brentford enough they are just the absolute blueprint of how to run a football club and how to just be successful in this league just an enjoyable team to root for as well yeah they're brilliant what's like the next level for Brentford though I don't think they can they only just missed that on Europe and I think they can get that this season because it's genuinely like as a club how big's the stadium and stuff I've seen a guy I've seen a guy I can't remember his name so I apologise He kept predicting him second.
45:06Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've seen it. What's his name? I can't remember, but I've seen the clip. I would not be surprised by that. But his reasoning made sense. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because it's the first time since the Leicester season where you could see a massive upset because of all the top teams. That's actually true. Brentford have definitely got a chance of top four, top five. Yeah, I'm annoyed that I haven't put them higher in my predictions. Yeah, yeah. Because they just look so, so solid. Comparatively though Team that doesn't look As solid New manager As well I mean he's trying He's definitely trying To outdo his predecessor Because he's gone a bit Crazy with the line up But I'm talking about Enzo Maresca That Man City line up Was mental It was But they did deserve to win Yeah Admittedly they did Deserve to win But I mean Is he not trying to Out crazy peck in there Yeah what are you doing Gay here in the 6 O 'Reilly in the 10 Yeah he played pretty well Yeah but I mean he's like Yeah he should have scored 2 Being the nutty professor at this point He should have scored And he's hung up in the same dripper You can't really knock it when it works I just think I think City will be City They're just Too much quality in the squad The thing is They can't afford to be giving up silly points Because Arsenal are going to be pretty relentless this year Nobody thinks they're going to be the challengers I know but I feel like In their own minds They're thinking we're going for the title this year there's no way they're like Arsenal have it I know we've all said Chelsea but we haven't seen Chelsea under Alonso yet that's true so based on everything we know City should be the challenge and they'll be expecting themselves to to the point as well they'll be so like they can't afford silly little fucking slip ups don't get this twisted City's objective this season is to win the league and it has to be it should be that's the same way we said about Arsenal when you were finishing second it's like your objective is still to win the league you're not happy with second it's always win the league yeah a club like City that is every season their objective is to win the league whether it's a new manager or not yeah and obviously Bouadi's coming in as well that's an expensive midfield now isn't it he's good though Anderson came off injured which is a bit of a concern yeah do we know what the injury was he should be alright I thought was it a knock then yeah yeah there was a lot of overreactions to Anderson I thought he played fine yeah pretty sorry I understand he's cost 120 mil and we've had this thing about Virts but in fairness to Anderson he can never live up to that price tag, I don't think.
47:32No. it's a crazy amount of money. Whereas Virch can obviously, he can deliver goals and assists and win games. Anderson can't really do that from the position he's playing. Well, I mean, you could argue Rice has and it's a similar. I think Rice has now, but how long has he been at Arsenal? Three years. I think now we're saying, yeah, so to come, it's like people expect Anderson to drop a 10 out of 10. Yeah, and with Anderson, what you're buying is a player who's going to be consistently good for a long time. He's young, he's English, he's strong. He's like, You're spending that money because you're expecting them to be in the team for about six or seven years.
48:04A pardon? Nice. So that's what your money is, really. Mureska said it was cramp and he said he wasn't 100 % fit going into it. Right. Well, yeah, because he was fast coming in. No one after the World Cup. Yeah. And then they had Community Shield. Yeah. Yeah, there's a bit of an overreaction. I thought, Gay, you played well, actually, considering the changes. He's at a six now, isn't he? Lewis was shitting right back. Yeah, he's really shitting. apparently that was Maresco said that he didn't actually want to start with Rico Lewis he wanted why did he? well because I think there was some sort of injury to like Kovacic or whatnot that he meant that he had to change the team but um yeah Gehi obviously probably going to be the starting centre-back partnership with Diaz oh no no no it has to be with Kucinov and Gehi do you think?
48:49Diaz is fucking crap no but you just hate him though he's crap nah come on man do you hate him because he's handsome? no but then where does where does Vardy all play? And where does Nico O 'Reilly play? We've got two left backs there. Well, they both played yesterday. Two assists for a turkey, though. Should a turkey start is the thing? Well, I was about to say, a turkey's got more open play assists in the Premier League than any other players to start last season. Yes, he should be. That is the question. But Mareska likes Foden a lot. And I feel like Foden played wide, didn't he? He did play wide, yeah.
49:18We did sub him off for... It's because he had O 'Reilly like in the 10 and then Then he was wide. This is all weird. It was a weird one we said yesterday. I couldn't figure it out to be honest. Which is probably good for opposition. What the fuck is that? Jack Grealis as well. Yeah, Grealis come back on. I'm surprised he's still there. I thought he was going to where was it? Colchester was he at? Wrexham. Wrexham. No. No, no, no. When he was in the stand. Yeah, I tried to tell him this. He's best mate plays for Cardiff. Yeah, he's going to Cardiff. And the day before but it was from Community Shield in Cardiff.
49:53So he went to the game and then Lewis was like, he's going to Wrexham. No, he's going to Cardiff. Fair. Oh, he's going to Cardiff. That's what I was thinking. Cardiff is South Wales though. Wrexham is North Wales. That's like quite... He's going to Cardiff, bro. Ah, fair enough. Just on Bournemouth. No, but it was at Cardiff. What? The game was at Cardiff. Yeah, but why would he be going... Wrexham's the other side of the country. I didn't say Wrexham. I was at Cardiff. You just said Wrexham. Wrexham's right by Manchester. What? What are you on about the Jogs of Cardiff? You said he was in Cardiff.
50:19Yeah. But he's going Wrexham. Because they played Cardiff. Oh, sorry. I thought you said the Community Shield. Yeah. Oh, my God. The Community Shield was the Saturday or the Sunday. Yeah. Wrexham. Sorry for DMing, guys. Cardiff played Wrexham the Monday night. Got you. So he obviously stayed over, went to the game to watch his mate. But then he got a medical at Cardiff. I don't know. Fucking hell. Right, yeah. And they came out with his shirt. Just touching on Bournemouth, Marco Rose seems to be settling in pretty quickly I thought they played right yeah yeah yeah I'll tell you what he's got to be one of the most underrated players in the league haven't he he's good isn't he yeah he just always delivers we were linked with him for a bit he's good man he's really good their goal was good man it was a good goal Evan Nilsson did well I just think they got overran in midfield didn't they I thought Alex Scott played well though Scott was alright but Lewis Cook I don't know yeah he's a bit aged well he's not that old but he's just a bit he's going to need more than that I think but no I think Bournemouth will be absolutely fine they'll be mid-tap but they'll probably have a good run in Europe hopefully Bournemouth the back and Silva looks pretty good yeah the new centre back looks solid well yeah I mean it's a tough day at the office isn't it but who've they got next Bournemouth who do they have I can't remember Bournemouth they've got Everton next week that could be a little tasty I mean a big one for them is they've still got Alex Scott they do still have Alex Scott which is a massive important player another club who keeps on ticking over Brighton Ticking over They fucking won 4-0 Yeah I mean They gave up In the second half Is that not the worst decision Of the whole weekend That penalty not being given Yeah Fuck me For Brighton It should have been 5 On Brighton Jesus And they had a goal Disallowed from side Yeah and Gross was on the pitch That was Class Quite literally Could have been Possibly the worst Possibly the worst Debut of all time Yeah really I've seen it now What's he fucking where he kicks in like what are you fucking doing like Jesus they were just they absolutely shot themselves in the foot Power Torres was awful that's probably the worst performance I've seen in the village I'm worried for them because if you look if you look at the starting line up relative to their expectations I don't think that's a clever sign and Suzuki starting line up and their bench is a bit it doesn't look like they've kind of just been stripped down a bit they're going to be busy this week aren't they silence they're going to be busy I think this week you don't see the clip no you just went silent I'm like what are you going to say oh yeah Emery Emery's post-match interview and he's like Ollie Watkins not in the squad today so what's going on there and he goes silence the one thing I will say is I maintain I said oh Villa will be fine this was before they lost concert yeah big misses Martinez looks like entire spine and Watkins now yeah Roger's already gone yeah honestly Telemans look at the team it's the entire spine one from every position and I feel bad for them because it's literally what we've just went through as well also.
53:13It's annoying. Have you seen the Villa fans saying like the team comparison between the Europa League final and then their current squad? They've got like four players left. Yeah. It's fucking mental, mate. Our fans are doing the same. We have two left. And you thought you got pillaged. We have two left. They have four. Yeah, but they won a Europa League final. So they're all good players. Yeah, they've only just won it now. No, but even our cup final team, I wonder how many... Yeah, but that was three years ago. You're saying over a period of that, I'm talking about in the space of four months, they've gone from having a full 11 to three years.
53:45It's crazy. But I will say, get Maggio back. I think he'll probably play up front, won't he? Or even Abraham. Manzambi, get him back in the team. You are. Yeah, I've seen that. Yeah, I think that's a good signing. Get this Suzuki playing. Maybe go and buy a defender. I do think they'll still be fine. They're 100 % in the contract. I think they'll still got Emery. I think they'll be fine. What are our thoughts on the Oli Watkins move? He apparently refused to play. Where's he going? Saudi It is Saudi Can we stop this Refusing the play shit How about just say no then No you're not going You prick There should be a thing A contract if you're refusing A play You have to pay us A million quid But they don't put that In a contract to start Do they?
54:21They should start doing that It should be an overall Just rule In football I agree Unfortunately A contract can tell you What you can And can't get away with But it is actually Fucking I actually can't stand it The issue is Lewis is it grounds to be sacked, but they're not going to sack him, are they? Because he's too much of a valuable asset. Well, that's what Thingy Potato's trying to do. Yeah, fuck me. Guys, I've decided contract doesn't matter anymore. I dropped a stinger. Well, I don't want to be here anymore. That is a massive issue with football in terms of the club just are so powerless in these positions because they're such valuable assets.
55:02Yeah, they rely on the players. And by the way, like I think I understand it's your life and it's your career but like it speaks to you as a person a little bit actually like if you're just gonna like Oli Watkins the amount of stuff that Aston Villa have done for you as a person like so I don't know if he has actually it's not been widely reported so like maybe this hasn't happened but anyone it's like it's fucking ridiculous like how selfish and like how much of a cunt he must be and I dropped the C-bomb that's how I actually think I think he's like me going like the overlap that came to me and I'm like I'm not coming into work until you release me from my contract and we'd be like bye yeah we'd go fucking by the way you haven't even got a contract why are you still turning up because I haven't got a contract I believe it all guys I haven't even got a contract to be here yeah mate honestly nothing applies you haven't signed anything they can drop me tomorrow I think it says more I agree but more your fellow teammates say like he left them in the shit the weekend if he has refused to play he's left them in the shit and I think forget the club forget the fans whatever your mates your colleagues who you work with every day, you're going, no, I'm more important than you.
56:06You could have just, can you not, maybe it's more complicated than I'm making out, can you not just have a bit of a gentleman's agreement and be like, okay, look, yeah, I'll get my head down, but I want this move. Can we not just get this move done and I'll play the weekend and then let me go? Yeah, I think more players should treat the game like that. I've not got a really wild idea. Don't sign a contract that you're not willing to see out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, don't sign a five-year deal. If you're not accepting that I could be here for five years, you fucking idiot. Yeah. It actually does be edited.
56:32And they hide behind the agent. Just the number means nothing. It's like, oh, it's the agent who's talking. I'm like, it's like me sending you to murder someone. I'm like, I didn't do it. I didn't do it, guys. Fucking knobs. It's not like that. Just turn it. Well, you could pay a hitman and then you'd trace back to you anyway. Yeah, but no. But then I don't get arrested. You would though. I'd crash you up. For orchestrating it, you would. But in football, I wouldn't get arrested. No, but in real life. Conspiracy to murder, mate. In football, I get the promotion. Yeah, but in real life, with the example you gave, you'd get arrested.
57:05So it should be like real life. It would be like me, getting a hitman to murder you, and then I get a promotion on pitch side to your role. That would happen if it was me getting a hitman on you. What does his role mean? Sit on that side with more money. Why sit on that side? Yeah, but just going back to Brighton, they look great. They'll be fine this season as well. Stronger rung in the conference. Do you think they'll win the conference league? Yeah. Or Atalanta. Oh, you're keen on them, aren't you? Speaking of, Matteo, Crystal Palace. What a knob. Looking a bit shaky. I don't know, man. They missed a lot of chances.
57:40Yeah, Pickford being Jordan Pickford once again. Palace missed a lot of chances. And had the chance to change the game too. They were at vital points in the match. Everton were good, man. They were good. Mate, that first goal, it was a rocket. Absolutely a rocket. Friend of the shot. They've got real depth in midfield now. Harrison Armstrong Hayden Hackney James Garner's not in there Armstrong was good Came on late though Didn't he James Garner Everton fans were laughing at me Because I said Mize has got them cooking Mize has got them cooking What's he on about 2-0 Hold that Mize has got you cooking Yeah but it's one game No but there's Everton have some fans out there Who will be annoyed That Mize has got them cooking Because you want them out I still think They still need a striker Jesus 100 % But that Barry Edda Was going out for a throw It's a known goal It's a 100 % known goal It's going out for a throw These people are getting These end die nine point He's good, mate.
58:29It's a joke, mate. I don't know. I had him in FPL at one point. And he's scabbed Fcon. Anyway, yeah, on the topic of Ndai, there's still speculation about whether or not he's staying at the club. I sure do have a day that he's staying, though. I've seen that as well. Is he committed? Apparently he's not going Saturday. That's a big one, that. That's a huge one. Yeah, yeah, keeping Ndai. I mean, he's a great transcript. He was good. He was really good, too. He's not like, bigger teams are going to have a look at Ndai. And Jai, he's in that mould though anyway he's enjoy good enough to play for like a top 14 probably not and he's already had a massive club outside but it's a bit like Everton are a big club just like Pickford yeah it's a bit like the Bowen thing that we spoke about yeah it's exactly Bowen ain't gonna play for like Liverpool and what's the point of leaving West Ham to play for Palace do you know what I mean just a side win yeah I think and he's Everton will be absolutely fine and Paul would have formed they didn't win for the last seven games last season well they could have renegated Spurs couldn't they and they didn't bother doing that Spurs are back I think Everton will have a good season I agree I think that would just be average yeah well that's sad mid-table fodder kind of thing just mid-table my favourite fixture of the whole weekend though tractor ball is 2-1 over Sunderland yeah by the way how good was NC yeah but he's injured now isn't he came off injured he did come off injured but was he that bad mate I don't know that last minute in goal from Jack Clark who signed from Sunderland and give it to the fucking celebrating proper that's shocking it's shocking from all the ready what Gary O 'Neill said it's cramp yeah earlier on in the season people aren't 100 % there's a lot of cramp I was really impressed with him so I thought he made a massive difference to them from what I saw with them last season that's what they were missing that's what they were missing he's fucking good another Brighton graduate mate well not graduate but came from Brighton what do we think of Sunderland not as good eh no they weren't as good no they weren't honestly like they I actually genuinely you think they should be like well you have been going down so how much more do you want to lay into no but a lot of people i obviously don't agree with that but like they've made what two signings and i know they kept the major players but two signings of where you're already going to be a little bit worse a season than your first excited season then you got european football you're going to find out real quick like it's the fact that they've spent over 100 mil and still love 09.
1:00:48Oh my God, Luke 09 playing minutes in 2026 in the Premier League makes me want to rip my eyes out. Yeah. He's so fucking shit. It is, man. Man, they've got Trey Hume at right wing. How has this happened? What's going on? Hume's been quite, Hume's been consistent for them though. No, I know, but is he not just the right, he's McKellar. He is, but he's like, he's so just like solid and versatile. He is good for them and LeBrie loves him, but I'm sorry. I don't know what was up with, I know Alderete come off the bench and I'm guessing by the goal he gave away. I don't know if he's fully fit, but Jesus, play the goalkeeper, Elbor, because Luke 09 is not it.
1:01:28Look, it's a great story. He's been there since League One and he's been the captain and he's been great for them. I'm telling you, Reggie, if you're watching this, you will really struggle this season if fucking Luke 09 is starting for you. I agree. I honestly genuinely don't think he's getting at our team. who were your starting centre-backs? Nat Phillips and George Campbell I don't know enough about George Campbell that's definitely better than him what was Sunderland's starting line-up it was pretty similar Mugiele didn't play, did he? because Mooney had played he obviously came off the bench Thomas Mooney was right back Robbie was poor as well things bouncing off him it's one of them against these promoted teams it's a bit like it's like a party vibe and like they're proud of it and with them going one up it's a bit like the whole thing I think if United would have gone one up it kind of kills the crowd but once the home team it gets them it's one of them Lukas was really good for Ipswich I was watch it on the radio I was a little bit do you think they have enough to stay up though I was surprised with Ipswich I don't know I don't know yet the tractor buys I'll be honest I still think I think no, because of their manager.
1:02:45Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's fair. But I really like that Maeda when he was at Celtic. He didn't know if that's going to transfer. He does Maeda in. Yeah. You suck, Maeda. You're supposed to be the punny guy. He doesn't know. Does Maeda. Yeah, nice. Right, anyway, on to the final game of the game week. That isn't obviously Chelsea Fulham. Forest leads. And they've got a little replay in the cup as well, haven't they? This was a good game, you know. Yeah, it was. It should have definitely been more than a 1-0. Anton Stack. Forest. Forrest were very reliant, I noticed, on set pieces for their chances.
1:03:18And Chris Wood missed a massive one with three ball. Yeah, he did. Trafford made a good couple of saves. Yeah, Trafford made a few good saves. I wouldn't be too worried if I was Forrest. Exciting times for Leeds, though. Already in a way win and they only got two last year. I really like the Wilson-Aaronson combo. They're very direct and just horrible. I feel like they're two players who, and obviously with Calvert-Lewin occupying the centre-halves, I feel like with them too
1:04:13If you're a defender Yeah, two Eagles. That's Eagle then. And they'd only announce him on team sheet as Eagle. You don't know which one you're going to get. That's Junior. What a great big brain move. Sells has got to do better for the goal though. But then... Sells is shit and shouldn't be a Prem keeper. I'm sorry. But he's always been shit. No, he's better than some Prem keeper. Is that Karius? Literally Karius. How long will Glasner last? He is the fifth Forest manager in less than a year. I think he'll last the season because I think they'll have a... I think they'll be all right. I think they'll have a cup run.
1:04:44I actually thought I thought that they played well enough to beat teams that aren't as good as Leeds and Leeds are actually quite a good team yeah they are I feel like he's a good enough manager where Mr. Maranakis how are you doing sir would actually understand he has to give him a bit of time yeah I would like to all the other ones seemed a bit crazy a bit rushed I feel like surely Glasner you understand yeah but he's the type to bite back Glasner that's the thing also on the topic of Leeds does Cavaloon get four more goals than he did last year no come on man you don't think he's going to get 18 he actually probably he should have scored if Wilson knew he was offside he could have left it for Calvary with the disallowed goal he's going to get a goal again he's so important to the way they play but I don't think he's going to score that many goals well we'll find out at the end of the year guys stay tuned for that one yeah wait till May alright well that was the Premier League review obviously Chelsea Fulham tonight we'll see how that Chelsea 1-2-0.
1:05:44Don't need to watch it. Oh, maybe it could be a draw. After all this Chelsea talk, imagine. You see, Enzo Fernandes get his cock out on bare bum and go poo-poo. What? He didn't watch the game. Oh, nice. Right now, guys. An important topic. Yes, very. Ha, ha. Get it? Really important. Depends. Right, we're getting sidetracked here, boys. We are going to do the most important player at every Premier League club. Now, that doesn't necessarily mean the best. It just means the most important. But sometimes Sometimes they do collide Most of the time It's the same thing But not this time Right come on then Let's do it on the Premier League Based on the league table Because Alphabeticals You know what Boring No we just agreed off camera To do it alphabetically Now he's trying to mog me Let's do league table Because then Tottenham Are going to be last And Newcastle are going to be joined first Right so I'll shoot it with Lot of Drew First up We have Brighton I've gone Pascal Gross No We're doing it 20 to 1 You leave the best till last Sorry Aston Villa I've gone John McGinn I went McGinn It's Kamara See I do think that But also like John McGinn Skipper My logic with this right It's Kamara My logic with this right No you can't just say It's Kamara No no no It's for John McGinn I reckon if you asked 100 Villa fans 90 would say Kamara I agree with this But I also think John McGinn is a super important player No so he is No no no no So yesterday When Villa were up against it And in the shit All they did was Go to big John McGinn Out there And he was the one Who was trying to take a pass and go like he was the one they were all turning to John McGinn and that led them to lose well yeah because all them went hiding it's like John McGinn's the guy no but Kamara's not a winger so they can't give it Kamara Kamara's getting on the ball thinking John McGinn Kamara's their most important player I think he's the most underrated but I think John McGinn is their most important no John McGinn's more underrated I think they're both underrated but I think John McGinn is the most important I think John McGinn's more supportive I don't think you'd find a Villa fan who would say that well good thing there's not a Villa fan well I'm not a Villa fan actually there's one right there who's next next we've got Coventry no we haven't we have going up yes we have Aston Villa and then Coventry Coventry are 18 oh my god they're joined 18 this is going to be so messy it's Spurs Spurs are back I've got it on Google Spurs are 19th what Spurs are 19th I literally just have the Premier League Spurs are 19th alright well I've gone Pedro Porro what I think you can tell that he's the most important I don't think he's the most important I've gone with Fernandes already oh mate that's so bloody hell what is it about him that you think he's so important for what Spurs need his mobility the way he drives the ball forward the way he can open up midfield I think he's passing he's do you know like a little thing there's times in the Albion game like just the side track where you can difference in levels just little things like one of our lads will just play a square ball like straight to his feet Fernandez will just play a yard in front she can just come on to it it's just like pass appreciation and stuff like that and I just thought the level difference when he came on compared to when they didn't have him I thought they were a completely different thing can you not that's a good point but also Poirot didn't play I know and you can see how poor they are when he's not but he played all last season and then he's still shit defensively yeah but he's one of and he was a big reason for that Poirot's great but he's also their set-piece take but I think the level difference from Porro to Archie Gray isn't as big as whoever in midfield to Fernandes look it's an early show look I understand I've gone early but I think Fernandes will be their best player and most important player this season okay well if we all said the same answer it wouldn't be a fun show would it I said Madison merely for us like we referenced today like leadership as well like Jesus like he's going to fill a big void in that alone and if he has a good season on him I don't mind that I haven't seen him at his best for a while Don't mind that one bit Right Now we have Coventry I've gone Grimes I've went Grimes I was between Grimes I've gone with Rushworth Don't mind that He was their best player He won everything He won like Young player of the year Players player of the year Save the Adegaard goal Yeah he has And I think He's going to be He will be The main reason If they stay up I love how Rushworth Is on the ball For the Sky Blues Do you?
1:10:05Yeah I really think He's good on the ball Who did they sign him from? Yeah Little Orient What? I don't know It would have been a great shout It's Brighton right Fuck Come on Yeah Man United Obviously Bruno Fernandes Bruno Fernandes Any discussion needed for that one? No Okay Crystal Palace I have Is that right? Yeah I actually I've gotten Ismail Asaba He's not moved yet Yeah I nearly went shot I have I know it's You're going to say Wharton? No I've gotten the teta You think? Because I think without him they really struggle to score goals I know but they want rid of him now no I know but I struggled with Pallis I would have put Lacroix but obviously he's not there well yeah I mean all the most important people from last season just don't exist at the club anymore I went Wharton oh three different answers yeah groovy very groovy yeah nice I went more than Gibbs White I went Gibbs White yeah there are just some clubs where the answer is just I'm sorry there's no discussion around these I'm sorry Mr Maranakis I spent I did spend four seconds thinking maybe Nico Williams but no it's Gibbs White I think he'll excel in the new system Nico Williams is quality How well do you think Gibbs White will do this season?
1:11:11I think he'll do what Gibbs White does 10 goals He's going to put the team on his back for a small period of time Unless they get like Igor Thiago who might carry the load Do you know you said somebody like Ndi and Bowen not quite good enough for the top six is Gibbs White I think he is yeah Yeah How many of the top six It's unfortunate not to get in the England squad when we spoke about it I think he'd start for Spurs I think he'd start The top six or the big six? Big six I think he'd start for Spurs Yeah Arsenal I'd start him for Arsenal Over Erdogan City City No not over Cherky United Tough to get United no Liverpool No Not over Sub-Ozli Well it'd be verse wouldn't it Depends yeah Maybe Maybe Chelsea No Not 210 Rodgers and Parma How do you even get into either of those Right Sunder Sunder Sunder Xhaka Xhaka Granit Xhaka Yeah Right Another easy one That's nice Bournemouth I think that's Struggle I went Alex Scott I went Alex Scott But I think this is tough There's a few Yeah you could argue I nearly went Tavernier I have slashed Tavernier here But Alex Scott's my main one You've got two answers Wow You fucking cheat Normally I go back And like delete one It's just when I'm deciding Right nice mate Well played But I think when Alex Scott's Not in that midfield Yeah you can tell Yeah Whereas like If Tavernier's out They've still got Clive And by the way, Alex Scott, can we all give him a round of applause?
1:12:38Yeah. You actually played, mate. Yeah, well done, mate. Oh, you showed up for work. Hey, it gives me hope that there's actually some good humour to the world. You and Mark Ganey, fantastic people, aren't you? I guarantee he would treat your mum lovely. Not like that. Your mum? You want him to fuck your mum? Alex Scott, if you're listening, please don't fuck my mum. Oh, Jesus. Right, next up, Fulham. I struggled with this I mean I've gone Robinson I went Robinson you know he might be on pens as well which is a bit weird who did you say we're going what? Fulham oh shit Fulham was really hard I went to Warby in the second I think he's the most important I looked at the team and I was like I don't think any of you stand out as important I was like if I want to play it would have been Harry Wilson if he's still there if someone's going to make something happen in Harry Wilson's well not being there like I think a Warby can be that guy but I was looking at like Garcia thinking like it was straight kick on you just have wait most important in terms of like you just need him to score goals yeah that's what I'm thinking you can't that's too early even a call when he's not had a minute in the prep I think of Warby he's been about for a while he knows the team very consistent don't mind it it's a difficult one to call Chelsea I went with Kaisaido okay I went with Cole Palmer I went Palmer I went Palmer I think if he gets back to his best then fucking hell title charge on yeah I think he him more than anyone in the team if they play at the level of their potential slash ceiling changes the same I also look at it say he gets injured they've still got Esteval they've still got Rodgers they've still got players in that position I think the drop off from Kaisado is ginormous and he's like their engine when he's good Chelsea you're good I think that's true but that also does apply to Parma Parma's obviously not a bad shadow it's one of the other I think right Newcastle you can go last yeah this is really hard Malik Chow I've got Malik Chow Interesting What did you get?
1:14:37That was between two And I haven't went with Chow But Chow was one of them I went with Lewis Miley Really? Do you actually think that? I think in the absence Of what we've missed in the field Yeah Because he's Because the thing is He's really good Because Miley He's absolutely brilliant And also he's so versatile And like I did want to put Malik Chow But I'm just thinking In this season The one player I Need to rise to the occasion Is like We need him in the field Who's going to be fucking on it I know No, but without Chal, you have no good centre-half. Chal is still really more than capable. Capable.
1:15:09By the way, no, you have to bear in mind, we are going to be bringing in a centre-half now. Yeah, but as it stands. We're going to do as it stands. Look, I go both. I just look at it as like, I think this is a massive season for Mike. But I also value his ability at both ends of the pitch. Because he's such a threat in set pieces too. The more I think about it, it probably is Chal, because now we have more... So are you wrong? Are you wrong about Newcastle? I think I want it for Miley. I think I want it for Miley. That's nice. That's a prediction. I just want it for Miley. Because now we have depth in Ryback, it's unlikely that he's going to get drawn into that.
1:15:43I think if Miley gets injured or if Chau gets injured, I think you'd miss Chau more, personally. I don't know. I think Chau's excellent, man. He's such a good defender. I don't know. Miley only played 23 games last season, eight of those coming off the bench. So this is the first time he's going to get a real run at it. he's had runs and stuff he's just unfortunate injuries but like there's a massive hole in midfield where it's like someone needs a rise he also couldn't he was never going to start in midfield over Tonali and Bruno and he had to play right back he was all over the shot when he last year true versatility he's a really good player I just think Charles definitely more important I think Charles probably is the correct answer but I'm sticking to Miley because he's most important to me because you want him it's most important to you Surely that's Dan Byrne Do you want him?
1:16:32Club captain Do you want him? Stop making it weird With me and Lewis You said it You're making it Sexual Oh he's fucking Lewis Lewis scissor No it's not scissor Right on to Liverpool This one's pretty easy By the way We have three mileys Maybe even four Yeah so which one? We've got a ton of mileys Going on But only one chow They're going to play them all Liverpool Sobozlai Dominic Sobozlai Yeah Easy What do you mean yeah? Yeah him You have to say it. I don't want to say it. What about people on audio? Schob. The penalty scorer. Andy Shrobertson. How much of a concern if he gets a knockoff a few weeks out and gets injured?
1:17:10Big problem. Massive issues if he's out. I saw people saying that he should be starting at right back over Frimpong. I was like, why did you put your best player? Because Frimpong isn't a footballer. Yeah, get another right back. Get another right back. Don't waste him at fucking right back. God, he's so bad, any Frimpong. Yeah, no, he's just not a right back. I don't know where you'd play him. What is he then? Don't know. Because he can't cross He's not a winger Remember when he's He also doesn't want to Actually like try Remember when he gets us He was in the box And he was just doing He was still Just doing that And it's like It's what you used to do On FIFA Where like You'd just go Yeah yeah yeah Yeah yeah yeah Unfortunately It doesn't work in real life Yeah yeah yeah Especially against A good left back Leeds Stack Anton Stack I nearly went Ampadu Yeah Good shout I think both of them Are vital to Leeds He's the He keeps everything Ticking over But Stack's the creative one Yeah And he's the captain And he's the leader And Stack's the one that covers that half And Stack's the one that covers that half And Stack He's obviously got the set pieces He's a good player I like him a lot Very very City Erling Haaland Erling Haaland Ipswich I went in CISO I went in CISO Good shout I went Dora Shea I just think When it comes down to What they need Like creative department And make things happen Because that's what some Promoted sides Very early call he's been shifted to right back already O'Shea yeah but that tells you how versatile he is mate he's alright captaincy caps for something leadership I've seen a lot of Dara O'Shea he's very average fair enough you can have that one I didn't really know much and CISO's definitely them I think he's going to be he'll be similar to Rushworth if they stay up I think it'll be mainly him but they won't that's what you need in a promoted team you need someone who's going to make stuff happen you can't just have hard shit houses everywhere which is what Coventry are but what and shithouse FC they're not just big muscly men no they're not just because they're not the majority aren't Grimes isn't who you put as their most important yeah but he likes Grimes Radoni isn't he likes Grimes yeah the majority of them majority of the signers were shithouses their locker room must be crazy who the shithouse signers have made you don't know any of them for sure the pictures right on to Everton who are drawing fourth what it's Hull what this table is just fuck it why can they not do it right yeah Hull I went Slater McBurnie I've got McBurnie oh he's not going to score loads of goals but how they're going to play to be that lone striker for that team he's so important to them the way he plays and just like he doesn't stop I always like a set peacetaker though so I've gone on the yeah I get what you mean I do get what you mean I almost nearly went with their goalies I just haven't seen enough of him Solakis the evolution of Solis he's good yeah he's going to be so important to them if they stay up how many points do you think Hull will get well I heard about the Derby Ultra has been absolutely ecstatic that they've now got three points already actually who was it we did the one year and I got it bang on it was a relegated team I think Marvin Burnley or someone I'm going to get this bang on they're going to get 25 points fair play 47 what 47 you think they're going to finish like 10th yes fair play you think Hull are staying up then yes so you change your prediction after one week 46 points would have got 15th last season oh 15th 47 where'd 47 get you 47 Leeds Leeds got 47 last year what is 10th how many points is 10th 52 not too far off you think they're staying off yes nice 47 Lewis just covering all back fair fucking play right what's next Everton Jordan Pickford that's a good shot actually I went Drewsbury all I said Drewsbury because he's friend of the show as well.
1:20:55Drewsbury. Yeah, I mean, I don't mind it. In terms of their attacking set-up, he's probably... And he's now the number eight. Congrats on the new shirt, mate. Well played. Do you think you'll get a call-up for England this season? It's so hard, though, isn't it? No, probably not. What does he need to do to do that? I don't know. Not play for Everton. It's unfortunate. It seems with Gibbs-White. It's just like, what more could he do? He might. He might. Have a good season. I would have friendlies and stuff, maybe, but like, yeah. If Hedges can get called up. No more Henderson in the squad. Choose Brehill.
1:21:29He's more advanced, though, isn't he? No, I know, but I mean, like, Tuchel changes the set-up a little bit. I think he's more than good enough to play for England. And he picks players on form. It's just, yeah, they hold it. Everton are going to be, like, they're going to be good, but they're not going to be... There was 12 goals and assists last season in 31 games. He elevates that. He definitely should, hopefully. To be fair, he gave Gambern a chance. He'd get even more if he had a good striker that he could assist. Yeah, that's very true. If there's any manager who's going to give you a chance, it's Tuchel, innit?
1:22:00Brentford. I don't think you'll be surprised to hear my pick for this. Are you going to go Thiago? Sangara. Sangara as well. Oh, you guys got so early. We went the same on the line. Oh, and Nat Collins. Captain. No, that's a CZ. Yeah, but why are you picking guys after 70 minutes of football? Is it better than Collins anyway? That's not true. I think he is. Vandenberg will play ahead of Ayer I think Ayer's better than Collins yeah mate Sangar's going to elevate them as a team mate Sangare will be playing a better team Sangare will be playing for one of the best teams in the world in a year probably but I mean so that means he's going to be most important like it don't have to be there for years it'll be captain and set piece taken it'll be the most important like he's going to elevate that entire team his presence in the team if Collins is out then Vandenberg plays doesn't he well he's injured but yeah but that's what I mean but the drop off to Sangare alright Igor Thiago that's not a bad shout no but it's a bit boring I think the way they play Sangare is going to be crucial to them yeah I can't do that after 70 minutes of football I can I can because I know I know football I can spot a player pardon carry on he's not Bellingham shit I know there's some concerns about Igor Thiago being as good as he was last season where he already missed the penalty I don't think that ever happened did it how many goals do you think he will get and you know is he going to carry Brentford up 14 If he stays at Brentford without service, probably...
1:23:20Twelve. Seventeen. Fourteen. One less than Camberlone. Fourteen. Twelve. What about if he goes to Forest, even less? Probably the same. Brentford create loads of big chances, don't they? Oh, fucking hell. I don't care. All right. Well, let's just not talk about football, then. Yeah, let's fuck it off. Arsenal. I like pies. David Raya. I went Raya. I think what you've seen now is the depth that we have with Rice and Gabriel's areas. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I agree. riot to anybody else in terms of goalkeepers is just if he's out we look like a different team Calafiore most important I'm joking Air Rice almost I don't know if that's true anymore I still think it is it is still a good fair shout it is a fair shout but I feel like I feel like the most important he might be the best player I just feel I feel sick if I'm the Premier League champions and I'm picking the keeper as the most important player I just don't want to do that it's right he can do that I mean that would be Realistically, when you're playing in the Champions League, right, and you need someone to pull you out of the shit, it's like...
1:24:18It's David Ryder. Yeah, but Ryder has done that. No, but... He's won them games. Yeah, I know that, but like Declan Rice is in the middle of the pitch impacting more phases of the player than Ryder. Yeah, but that's just because of his position. I agree. And that's why I can't bring this out of big Ryder. That's completely fair, but... I understand he's going to... Arsenal without Ryder cannot win the league. I wholeheartedly think that every other player in that defence, albeit as good as they are, takes the biggest sigh of relief when they see Raya on a team sheet. 100%. If it was Mezio or Kepa, Mezio or Kepa on a team sheet, they're going, fucking hell, long day, boys.
1:24:51No, but you can definitely win the league without Raya. Your defence is still the best in the world. Yeah, but he's a main reason. Yeah, no, but like, let's not be mental. Like, you'd be alright, lads. Don't worry. We'd be alright without Raya too. I think we'd win the league without Raya. That's tricky. I don't think you'd win the league without either, to be honest. I think that's a tricky one. but I think... You're already Bruno down. But he means fully. Yeah, I meant in terms of... I know, but like... Like Lewis Skelly and Bruno in midfield. Yeah. Absolutely fine, isn't it? It is enough to win game.
1:25:22No, but I think it is relevant. Like, keeper injuries are far less rare than outfield injuries. And you've already seen... No, I'm just... You're right. The guy who's up there... We're not saying... Of course it's relevant. What's the more likely thing to happen? We're saying if they're missing one. I think Ryatt... It's a similar... We saw it in the cup final. Yeah, exactly. Without Ryatt, they were shocking. By the way, it's a very fair argument. about the cover that you had for Kai Sade or the drop-off speaker. Like you can see that, okay, realistically, like you could have multiple injuries in goal department, but if you didn't have rice and you have midfields getting injured, like there's a big loss of quality.
1:25:53No, but I think last season, maybe the season before that, definitely rings true. But now, the person that we cannot afford to lose out of everyone in this squad is the goalie. Yeah. We also have evidence of it. Yeah. Cup final without Raya. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They can barely get out of there and off. against Villa who at the time were challenging the title over Christmas time without Rice they were 4-0 or whatever it was Arsenal can cope without Rice I don't think they can cope without Raya yeah I agree and that's why it would have been Gabriel or Rice last season I reckon but I think this season it's Raya right last one I know he's not the most important player but I want to ask you how important Havertz is this season scoring the last four starts is he going to be your front man ahead of Jokovic most of the season I think yeah you can see Arteta prefers him.
1:26:39He's far too... He doesn't finish chances, we know that. He never has. Brings more people into the game, doesn't he? The way Arsenal play, he's so integral. Have you still got Gabriel Jesus? Yeah. What the fuck? Should have been sold. Still got Fabio Pera as well, mate. Is he on the bench? I can't remember if he was on the bench for the game. What the fuck's he doing? He's just went there. Collecting wages, brother. He's just went there and been injured. Collecting wages and collecting Premier League medals. I'd still put him on ahead of Jokeres. Jokeres is 86 overall on the new FIFA. What? yeah I haven't even seen the ratings that's quite good what's happened it's fucking ridiculous it's quite good 86 we did score he did score over 20 goals all comps man he's fucking not he's lucky to be 75 yeah he's wang I wouldn't even he's not better than Hagerbo right finally Brian Gabriel Hazus was on the bench no yeah what plays for Austin yeah but he was on the bench alright he was just an old day I thought he said look take the season off last Brighton I went Pascoe Grace I went Grace I nearly went Hinshelwood yeah I think they're a different team.
1:27:36He's kind of like their heartbeat, isn't he? Yeah. The quarterback. Interesting. So we have a different one here. I went for Grob. Nice. That's good. Well, there we have it, guys. Let us know in the comments if you agree. If you are a fan of any of these teams, are we miles off it? Yeah, actually, yeah. If you are a fan of the... Villa fans, get in the comments. It's Kamara, isn't it? It's Kamara. The Tom Discord are all going to disguise themselves as Villa fans now. Tobacco's point. I'm a Villa fan. You know the ultimate Villa fan. That's not me. and he's dead. I said you know the old... He's there.
1:28:07He's dead, lad. Oh, fair enough. Right now, guys. Obviously, one of the biggest talking points for Manchester City, not just losing their manager and having Enzo Maresco replace him, is losing their Ballon d 'Or winning number six, one of their best ever midfielders. One of the best midfielders we've ever seen in the play. To Barcelona. Yep. So, obviously, Rodri, what do we make of the whole situation? Does Buadi, Anderson... It's an absolutely massive loss, and I think without him, they can't win the league. i agree with that but i also agree that awesome gonna win we already said this locked in yeah you got it um if they had roger i'd fancy them to finish second does this now does this now make barcelona yes first or second favorite to assist on his sub appearance did he miss he missed his penalty though yeah baby didn't you see the pass from pedry to gordon for the the goal gordon just laid off yeah just clicking on me pedry's gonna be like that this is why i I thought like Gordon Bissau on there because he's just fastest out.
1:29:04The supply he's going to get is just different to what you get at Newcastle. I think, yeah, Rodri's going to be so good for them. So good. Well, just on the top. And if they get Alvarez. Wow. He's coming awesome, mate. 2024 Ballon d 'Or winner. 298 appearances across seven trophy winning seasons at City. Joined for £62.8 million. Good at footy, isn't he? And pretty much retained his value in all that time. That's quite good, isn't it? Pretty beastly. It's quite good to get seven years older and then just like still be worth the same amount of money. What he would have went for in his preak. Preak?
1:29:37Preak. In them seven years, obviously he's had a bit of an injury trouble during that time towards the end. How, has he been the most important player during that period? No. De Bruyne. Hmm. What? Oh, yeah. Yeah, I mean, when De Bruyne obviously left, after De Bruyne left, yeah, he was definitely the most important. I think we saw that. Not just for City, for Spain. I've got a big question for you, though. Is he one of the top 10 midfielders of all time in the Prem? Well, do you know what? I'm going to tell you my top 10 right now, Luke. Oh, wait, you have that. I have it ready. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
1:30:12Centre midfielders. Centre midfielders. He's a centre mid, though. No, but he said midfielders. No. Stop doing that because it's flicking up on my finger. Stop. Go on. Oh, wait. You said... Right, yeah. So we're going to go 10-1. Best ever centre mids in the Premier League. So 6-8-10s. Yeah All encountered All encompassed I haven't put tens in I just went central Yeah I just went centre mid No no I just went if you're in the middle So 6-8-10 Yeah Alright I haven't done Well yeah I haven't included Bergkamp even though I haven't put like David Silva in Oh fuck Well I have Well I have I mean it's fine We always do different lists anyway Fuck who cares I've just gone like Players who I could imagine Playing like An 8 Centre mid yeah Yeah fair Like a 4-4-2 who's playing centre mid.
1:30:57Yeah, mine would be different then. Fair enough. I've gone, in 10th, I've gone Fabregas. Yep. 9th, I've gone Yaya Torre. Really? We're completely the same at the moment. What? Not higher? You're not a big Yaya fan. I love Yaya, but I just think longevity, man. He's peak. He's peak. He's probably top three. But is it not, we're not talking like encompassing legacy here. We're just talking about the best. But I think it matters. No, no, no. The longevity matters, surely. Oh, but Sorre's is a better footballer than Torre. Yeah, no, but that's better footballer. If you're not a best midfielder. All right.
1:31:30To do it consistently is... Also, like, a lot of these, you could mix around. I wouldn't argue it strongly. And I will. Eighth, Vieira. Seven. Sorry, I've got to give him a pushback on that. What? Why? With the seven above him, I bet. Seventh, Roy Keane. Vieira's overrated. What? No, he's not, though. He's overrated. He'd be the best ever player in the club. What makes him overrated, Lou? I don't know. I was too young to watch him. 8th Fiera 7th Roy Keane 6th Rodri 5th Scholes 4th Kante that's high no it's not it is high and Golo Kante yeah you know he's serious when he full names no yeah well by his middle name because of the other Kantes well by his middle name as well do the full thing it's match day yeah I think Kante is fuck I don't think we've ever seen a player like that in the league so you mean two people in one player just played two yeah basically played three positions in one did it for like look let me tell you about a little team called Leicester City oh shit he won the league with them then went to Chelsea won the league with them was the best like he's just I just think I've got him like doesn't help my argument here I've got him I just thought he's like like if you're offering me Kante or the players below I'm picking Kante I'd be first name on my sheet you think you'd pick Kante like if you wanted to win a game Kante over Roy Keane yeah Kante was really underweight on the board I know he was really underweighted 7 underweighted?
1:33:00what? what did you say? I love Roy Keane but I think these are better like Rodri Scholes Kante are better I don't I disagree massively alright that's alright and I'm confused though because you're always pro Roy Keane I love Roy Keane I think he's the best captain we've ever seen I think he's a really underweighted centre midfielder this is what I'm backing I think the players are better than him but in terms of what he offered to the team is more than just that's fair that's fair but I think Roy Keane as brilliant as he was and as underrated as he was he's more limited than the other players yeah yeah yeah no that's the thing I'm trying to make in terms of like the presence that Roy Keane offered is more than the ability of the other players I'm saying strap yourself in I'm not sure if Leicester win the league with Roy Keane yeah but they do obviously I think we would have had some scraps on that team Kanto fourth Gerrard third Lampard second De Bruyne first mental very interesting very interesting my team's different my list is different except for the first two names 10th Fabregas 9th Yaya Toure 8th David Silva my personal favourite out of all the names on this list as well 7th Kante 6th Skulls 5th Gerrard 4th Rodri 3rd Lampard brace yourselves bitches 2nd Roy Keane 1st KDB do you think he brings more than like Lampard and Gerrard 20 goals a year Yeah, yeah, Tore scored like 21 in a season, didn't he?
1:34:26Longevity, bitch. What is your... Give us the reasoning for... But Scholes should be high then, though. Roy Keane, number two. Yeah, why is he... I don't know what I have up against Scholes in my head, but you can't have Keane above Lampard. Like, with Scholes, is he... Or Gerrard. Gerrard is better than Keane. Race yourselves a sec. Is Scholes overrated? No, he's unbelievable. I have him in the list, so I don't have him as high as you do. Often the conversation Like Rodri's better Than Roy Keane Let's be honest Yeah he is Yeah honestly Yeah I agree Can I just ask you something Both of you have got Rodri fifth Yeah I've got him sixth Sixth He's the only one To win a Ballon d 'Or in there Yeah I know But that can be a bit Of a fugazia Like really silly If Frank Lampard Was playing In this era He'd win a Ballon d 'Or Like Lampard Comes second in a Ballon d 'Or Didn't he Gerard came Gerard come third Like They were competing against higher level individuals whereas now it's like I do think now it's more of a team game it's more of a system and stuff like and also I don't want a magazine to decide who like otherwise we'd have Michael Owen as the best striker ever in the Premier League and he's just not is he like I think don't get me wrong I do think the Ballon d 'Or matters and I think it's a valid argument I think it shows you were the best player in that year or during that period likely could win it again as well but you have to probably will but you have to you have to compare the periods Iniesta and Xavi never won a Ballon d 'Or or a Prem or She-Ra I don't think any of us would say these players are better than those two yeah yeah true in this era Xavi would have 10 Ballon d 'Ors 30 a million is that possible?
1:36:13well would he? what with Messi and then? I mean now Xavi? Messi almost won it now as well If you compare Rodri's year when he won the Ballon d 'Or to like, I don't know. Was he undefeated in like 72 games? to the year like Iniesta had in 2013 or 24, or some, I don't know, or Suarez. Yeah, that prime bar. Like, it's hard, or Naaman, Naaman's never won a Ballon d 'Or. I think sometimes you can get a bit too over the top with that. So everyone just relax, alright? Fucking chill out. Keane's not second though. Mine, you wait for mine, mate. You put Keane second thinking I'd agree. I actually didn't.
1:36:47No, I actually didn't. You did? I think I'll just I did my list quite quickly Tom I know Paul I don't love Keane as much as you I think the thing is I actually don't like Roy Keane too much because Shearer done him here but I think it's down to just the amount of trophies that he's won and how dominant he was a team yeah I didn't view it as best I know but as goals as a player like I've just said is he not like people put him in this conversation with Gerard Lampard and I just don't think there's a question he is definitely in that I don't think there's a question that he's the third of those three can I also put a little find a little hole in your logic you said you couldn't remember Vieira he left Arsenal 2006 had one season I definitely I definitely that's why I didn't really have a pushback because when I actually thought who's better like I love Lampard so I actually don't know what I've done but sometimes that happens Vieira dog walked him nah Vieira didn't dog walk anyone mate he's a little fucking pussy he would break you with his little finger mate he would do shit at managing Palace would he completely different aspect of the sport he's right though Roy Keane would never Roy Keane got Sunderland promoted mate Yeah, fair enough.
1:37:48By the way, Vieira has a small cock. What? I don't think that's true. Could be. I think Roy Keane maybe does, though. You reckon? That's why he's angry. No, I don't know. He's just so confident. I reckon he's got a big cock. I feel like a lot of footballers have big cocks. Who was this? That's why they've become footballers. I've always had this theory. That cannot be true. It was the smallest one, though. I just always feel like... You know when you see... I've seen like... Oh, mate, this is so weird. I've seen a video... You reckon Messi's packing? I think Fabregas has the smallest... No, he's not.
1:38:13They always have to get their cocks out in changing rooms. You've got to have some confidence. David Silva's packing less than Fabregas. Is that because of the Spanish? The Spanish do have smaller penises. Fabregas is definitely packing more than David Silva. I agree he'll be big. I've played with some Spanish lads and they're all right, man. David Silva? I reckon he's all right. Big hair. Might be thick. He has a hairy ass, doesn't he? You can't judge... Yaya or Vieira first, surely. Wait, wait, you haven't even got... I think Yaya's is like a little snake. You haven't even got Padre Vieira? I reckon Gerrard's packing Alright Is this our Clip next week Top 10 KDB has a small knob I don't know man Belgium And ginger You honestly don't think Well he's more Dutch anyway You don't think Patrick Vieira's Top 10 Centimates ever Mate we're talking about Something more important here How big is KDB's for Right fair enough Tenth I've got Kante What Yeah I'll stand by that Tenth Why so low Have we ever seen A player like that In the league ever yeah I mean in terms of profile he's the most unique and I'll hold the L but I just can't be asked anymore we're talking about Cox so no don't that's poor man I couldn't yeah why not yeah why not what do you mean you're acting like it's like do you want to go to the shop yeah why not yeah but they're all from like in my opinion from like 4th to 10th they're all interchangeable I don't think Kante is man I think Kante is like absolutely nailed on top 5 like I think if you're building an all time Premier League 11 it's not out of the question at all to have him in midfield yeah I'm totally down with that you could be right I think other than top three in my mind the rest are kind of interchangeable go on then ninth Roy Keane I think yours is way what I don't think he's second eighth Paul Scholes so there's my there's my United players out of the way eighth yeah they've got to be mentioned but I mean I'll put number 10s in as well though you've got to remember that I'll put number Scholes eighth Yeah, I put number 10s in there.
1:40:12Paul Scholes. So you think there's seven better centred fielders in the Premier League? I said he's overrated. He's known as one of the all-time great Premier League. I said he's overrated and I've got him sick. Reeve, this is bad. Yep. Seventh, David Silva. What's confusing? Is David Silva better than Paul? Should we go one by one here? I think it's close. We go one by one. They're very different players. Exactly. But you didn't put 10s in, so it makes it a lot easier. Exactly. And I had David Silva below school. To be honest, the only one... You had Roy King second. Yeah, but this is already making yours worse than this.
1:40:40The only one I would have put in Is probably David Silva From the 10s And I don't think I'd have put him Ahead of skulls Even though David Silva Was fucking incredible You've already had four stinkers And your four names in How have I had four stinkers David Silva in seventh Isn't a stinker I'm preempting the sixth Being a stinker Sixth Rodri Stinker What? You had him sixth No I didn't No I had fourth Did you? Yeah I had him split In Gerrard and Lampard Oh fair enough Fifth Yaya Torre Wait You can argue that Yaya Torre Yeah, because of longevity. Yeah, but I'm talking about his best players. No, no, no.
1:41:14Yeah, Skolz is one of the best in the world. So is Yaya. Oh, no, but he's done it for longer, man. No, by the way, to be your best player, I really do think longevity matters. Like, if you do it season on season on season. Otherwise, let's put... Oh, you could have Mechu in a fucking top ten striker. Let's put Armour on in the best right winger. Yeah, but come on, man. If this is ex-Barcelona, like, this is still Yaya Torre. No, but you're saying none of that matters, though, because you're taking it from his peak. So you can't reference Barcelona. And if you're going on... No, no, no, but he said me too.
1:41:40If you are just going on peak. Yeah, but if you're going on peak, that me too argument is fair. I'm not going off peak, but I'm just saying, in my mind, I'd just love Yoyo Torre. I think he's top five. And he could be first on that one. Fuck this. Fourth patch of Vieira. I can't believe you guys, you don't even have him. Yeah, that guy's over his. What are you huffing and puffing for? Fucking shit, man. Vieira's not better than, like, scolding Kante. Your argument for, like, Kante being, like, a single man midfield applies to Vieira. No, he doesn't. It does, mate. No, he doesn't. No, he doesn't.
1:42:09He does When was he ever A one man midfield He had Petit next to him When you won the double In the 98 And then after that He had Edu Gilberto Silva He was never A one man midfield But he could Gilbert We don't know that We never saw it Well Was Vieira ever The most important Arsenal player No I can't remember I wasn't alive Maybe Maybe early on I mean he was Shut up You're from Ireland He was the best Midfielder in the league At that point Oh no yeah He was Arsenal Better than Petit Better than Skr Yeah, but that wasn't the argument. That wasn't the argument. That wasn't the argument. He said he did what Kante did.
1:42:47Kante had Danny Drinkwater next to him. He won the league with a little team. I don't know if you heard of them, Leicester City. Exactly. Well, so is Kante. Who was the main player? Drinkwater. All players. And where's Morgan? Have you just helped me there? No, he tried to and then realised he actually buried himself. I'm trying to help you. No, obviously, I've got Vieira in my list. Vieira's definitely in there. Vieira was a brilliant centre midfielder, but in terms of Kante, Kante had better players next to him. Who else did Kante have next to him at Chelsea? Go on. I can't remember, but I know there was more.
1:43:19Because Drinkwater didn't play. I'll tell you. Essien, mate. No, he didn't have it. Drinkwater. Oh, Nibble. Who did he have? Nibble. He definitely, he definitely did. I don't know the fuck he went for that. Emmanuel Matic. Who? Matic. Yeah, come on. Great player. He's not better than Emmanuel Petit. Who else did he have? When you look at the squad round then, he had Fabregas in that squad. Fabregas, I was going to say, yeah. That's the shout out of him. Oh, I'm going to be a little player called Fabregas. He's in the top 10 list that you have. I'm not even on about this. By the way, he won Player of the Year at Chelsea when Hazard was in the team.
1:43:51Probably didn't deserve it. You said he didn't. No, no, let's go. Let's not change the argument. You said that he didn't have anyone next to him. He had less staff. I'm not on about Chelsea, though. I'm not on about Chelsea. I can bring Chelsea up. I can bring Chelsea up. You're on about drink water. How about the Champions? No, he's arguing against you now at this point. Are you talking about drink water? How about the Champions League? No, no, no. How about we reference that he's got Fabregas next to him? I've already considered... You're talking about little Petit. How about Fabregas? Little Petit?
1:44:21I don't see Petit in your top ten. I see Fabregas. So why didn't you leave my little mate Leroyville on? Little Petit? Is that how you call him? Little, little? Fabregas wasn't a... He started 13 Premier League games that season. Yeah, and the assistant shirtler, of course. Everyone knows that one. By the way, I'm not even referencing Chelsea when I say Kante's a one-man midfield So you're referencing of Leicester and then when they won the Champions League and Chelsea, but even that year, he won Player of the Year Carhava's more important though, isn't he? No I can't believe this is a debate No, I already conceded the Kante point I was just trying to say that Vieira's obviously a very good midfielder which should have been in the top 10 He is in my top 10?
1:45:02Yeah, he's an idiot I was just trying to help him Roy Keane second claiming he's never watched Vieira 3 Gerrard I actually agree 3 Gerrard 2 Lampard 1 Kevin De Bruyne everybody else you know go where you want that's the top 3 well that was bad so unanimously Kevin De Bruyne is the greatest Premier League but also the smallest penis I think that's really mean it's not mean he scored a goal last night that's insinuating that a small penis is bad should have been a foul but he scored did he score after I left the thing he'd come off the bench yeah yeah yeah because you said it in the pub. Someone said, oh, damn.
1:45:35He was a foul, though. Oh, really? Yeah. Hey, guys, who do you think is your top ten? Let us know in the comments below. Yeah, let us know in the comments how miles off it, Reeve, was then. What? What? Yours was fucking shit. No, there's nothing wrong with mine. You don't even have Petro Vieira, mate. No, no, you can get... I just put scores a little bit lower than usual. You put four names wrong. What does that mean? What does that mean? Whose list do you think was the best, Will? I think Tom, because I go to the pub with him. You went to the pub with him. Yeah, right. Have a Diet Coke. You threw up.
1:46:03Tom threw up from being in a pub, mate. What? I felt really sick. I wondered why you weren't giving it a big end to me when I wasn't gone. It was after being in here. Yeah, honestly, guys, it's like 45 degrees. Yeah, who had the best list? Yeah, not kind of beat. Obviously, Lewis did. Oh, fucking hell. As much as it pains me to agree with him. Oh, sure. Yeah, it does appear in you, yeah. Yeah, but maybe they're just right. My list was good, but I must say he had the easiest job because he didn't even put tens in. By the way, the only one I would have included is David Silva. That's it. By the way, my list is not even that bad.
1:46:41That's what I did and then everybody drops down. My list is not even that bad. Keane's second year, that is too high, but the rest of it is very fair. I do think I'm the only one who thinks Gerrard's better than that man. Gerrard's not better than that man. I don't think he's that bad of a shout. Yeah, who cares? When in doubt, you have to edge it to the guy. I think you do it all interchangeably. I've had this debate. I actually had this debate with Rory the other day. You know, Gerard Lampard and Skolls, right? I could come in here, and if you told me, argue one to be the best, I could do it.
1:47:06I think they're that close, and I think they're so different, and they offer different things. It's personal preference. It is personal preference. Me, personally, I just think, guaranteeing 20 goals a season for midfield. How close are they? Would you say they're, like, within three of each other on the list, or about six? That's not six. That's one, two, three, four. Yeah, Lurie's miles off it, we know. we've already said his list stinks yeah I've only got Kanto between them yeah I think it's just it's so boring isn't it to just put Skoles in the conversation of the three and not actually think about where he goes so why isn't he in the three though because he's number eight for me yeah but why because he's number eight because obviously think about it because I put Skoles in the eight yeah but why I'm asking why you put him there because he's an eight he was an integral part of the greatest Premier League team arguably the greatest Premier League yeah I think legacy and absolutely he also started as a second striker he used to score goals he's called back out of retirement then he played wide then he could play centre and then later on in his career dropped to the holding role and just dictated and literally Fergie asked him to come out of retirement because they were like we're missing wait hang on the whole point of this is some of the best goals we've ever seen the whole point of this is if you put him in a 1v1 against all the other names mentioned you could argue for both it's not fucking FIFA street I'm not talking about specifically football I'm saying in a debate if you said is Paul Scholes better than David Silva yes or no you could argue both sides.
1:48:28Is he better than Rodri? Yes or no? You could argue both sides. Yes, he's better than Rodri. Is he though? Yeah. Is he? Yeah. School's better than Rodri. The thing is though, the schools I remember from my age is like, it wasn't like that quicker player. It was like the guy He wasn't a quick player. No, but like further up the pitch. To be fair, he can hit a tree from 50 yards so yeah, fair play. It was like the guy, it was the older geezer who was balding and was like sitting there just like Still unbelievable. It was good, but I didn't see the earlier. School doesn't matter. What you saw was still unbelievable.
1:48:59I agree. That's why it is, isn't it? In your team, Scoles or Yaya Toure? I think... Ah, I see. You're thinking about it. It's a long journey, though. If you can think about it, there's an argument. Because I'm guaranteeing... You're guaranteed with Scoles. You're not with Yaya Toure. He was quite inconsistent. Viero or Scoles? At his best. Viero or Scoles? Yeah. By the way... I agree. The Yaya Toure thing. Oh, it's Scoles. Everyone about the best, like, Prem midfielders. Like, the amount of years they do, it matters. That's why Yaya Toure should be lower. yeah stop please stop doing that you're fucking up our phones yeah I agree I mean that's the only one that I'm actually can't say it's the only one that I'm unhappy with but I think from 2 to 10 is arguable and that's why this show exists guys yeah wait hey look guys it's just calm down it's just football so let us know in the comments what you think of our list and like don't be too harsh like we're just having a friendly chat about football like go outside it's sunny there's fresh air touch some grass like subscribe comment rate us five stars Thank you guys.
