Guest backgrounds

The transcript provides no professional bios; they appear to be football fans/regular podcast contributors discussing clubs (Arsenal, Newcastle, Man United, City, Brentford, West Ham, Forest, Spurs).

Key claims

  • Newcastle are “stale and predictable,” lacking confidence and attacking aggression; Howe is reacting rather than panicking, but fans want a real plan B.
  • Brentford’s recruitment and mentality are praised; they’re expected to finish around 7th-9th.
  • West Ham are close to safety; Forest/Dyche are under pressure; Spurs’ winless PL run is highlighted.
  • Haaland criticism is debated: he’s argued to be effective in big moments, not just “weak-team” tap-ins.

Notable examples

  • Newcastle’s League Cup final date (22 March) and Wembley travel comments.
  • Newcastle’s record vs top-half teams and “points lost from winning positions.”
  • Brentford’s home run and specific players praised (e.g., Janel/“Janel” mentioned, plus recruitment like Henderson, Kallar).
  • West Ham’s Somerville scoring run; West Ham vs Man United and Forest vs Wolves fixtures.
  • Haaland scoring in big competitions (Champions League, League Cup semi-final) and goals vs Sunderland.

0:54You're back, mate. Feels so good to be back. I'll tell you why it feels so good to be back. Why? Because Arsenal are still sitting rosy at the top and Newcastle getting lower and lower and lower soon to be propping up the table yeah maybe so we're shit like did you enjoy us Sunday Lee because obviously none of us were here it was actually great I've made the show what it should be which was an intellectual show of ball knowledge actually I'll tell you what we did for the first time in a half time quiz we did an entire tenable with anyone getting a wrong answer completed the whole ten that's really cool it was Liverpool's top ten goal scorers Dirk Colt was the final answer by yours truly.

1:34Dirk. It was one of the best things I've ever said on this show. What's his name? Dirk. Dirk. Dirk. Dirk. D-I-R-T. Dirk. Why is Dirk? It's Dirk. It's not Dirk. It's Dirk. It's Dirk Cout. It's Dirk Cout. He actually thought it was. It's Dirk Cout. It's Dirk Cout. You were trying to get out of me. He looks different. He does look, because he's aged. He's 45. Anyways, guys, it's been a monumental week of football. Loads have gone on. Have you guys discussed the semi-final of the League Cup? No. Because that was after the last thing. Yeah, actually. Yeah, well, both semi-finals were. Yeah. I mean, the Arsenal one was...

2:11I think the City of Newcastle got in one shit. No, no, I'm saying the Arsenal one... No, I'm saying they're both after when we recorded. I was sorry, I went there with shit and you went... There's a City Arsenal final. I think it's 22nd of March, I think, or 22nd of February? Yeah, we've not got a good record against them in the... 22nd of March. Well, they beat us three-in-one last time. I was actually there for a game. If you beat them, They're the proven winners It won't be the end of March I think it is the 22nd of March League Cup final You just had a pitch inversion Is it really? Yeah That seems really late You had a pitch inversion After going through Did they really?

2:40Yeah They had a pitch inversion Oh my god Before the goal went in The bench was already on the pitch Well I have us with A brilliant celebration Oh yeah Fuck me Why is that so I swear it's usually end of Feb It is end of March 22nd of March There you go See Yeah And it's at Wembley No way It's the same day As Newcastle Sunderland Yeah is it We have to choose the game To stream Did you see Pep's comments Did you see Pep's comments About like The fact they got to travel Down to Wembley And like oh He was trying to get Gehi in the squad as well I know he was just trying To change the rules again That's not the rules Dickhead Do you reckon he gets Gehi in the squad No they said no Thank God Because that would have been I would have been fuming again That would have been Fucking stupid Yeah that's the reason You lost to City By the way That was one of those That was just fucking like so pathetic.

3:28But you told us you were going to win the League Cup and get into all the finals and that. Domestic double. You said domestic double and that's this weekend you're going to be out and vote domestic double. That was for our rogue takes in fairness. No it wasn't. No it wasn't. You said you were going to win a domestic double. Yeah that's part of the rogue takes. It was still a take. Yeah a rogue take. Should we get Newcastle over and done with? I think we should get Newcastle over. You're actually pitiful. Yeah we should like. Dango Otara last minute winner. Can I say something about he was good.

3:53The vibes in Newcastle one not good after the game. He can play left or right, Otaris. I like him a lot. He's good, isn't he? Record signing though, right? Yeah. Our record against teams in the top half or any teams who were just like actually decent in the prem is like fucking a business issue. No, they're better. No, but our record... Any team's better than us, we are all. I can't remember the start, but the start again, it stands like four points from like 25 against teams in the top half of the table is like something like that. And then points from winning positions lost is like 19 points this year.

4:23I think the issue with that is, though, is the fact you're... Brentford are listed as a team in the top half. Yeah. No, I think this actually highlights it more. It's not about playing against teams who have better players. It's just teams in general who are playing with confidence, playing... Better set up, really. Better manager. We are so stale and predictable going forward. It's crazy. I was saying this on the... You can't score. I was saying this on the stream yesterday. We need someone who has a bit of balls to actually just go forward, try something, another shot. I've had a few moments like that, but then he just didn't get the shot off.

4:55You've spent so much money on strikers, and then you're still blaming the fact that nobody's aggressive in terms of being attacking. But I think the players you bought in the summer, previous to them joining Newcastle, they were like, Langer was an attacking player. Do you know what? He's got the most non-penalty goals last season. Do you know what, though? This is because we were watching this while we were away, me and the lads, and we were like, do you know the problem? Newcastle, every player they've signed in the summer is just like, all right. It's just like, They remind me of Spurs a bit.

5:22When they're side players, I think on the face of it, you think, oh yeah, like yeah, Vista like 60, yeah, he's done. But actually when you think Vista's like pretty average. That wasn't a good sign. Like Jacob Ramsey, he's pretty average. Alanga, he's average. This is why it stresses me out when people throw like, you spent the 200, fair enough, he spent a lot of money. But also you have to, there is context to that in terms of the three windows before that, we had to sell because of like, we spent so much before that. And like we sold Elliot Anderson and Minter who you'd easily say is better than Ramsey and Alanga so it's like we haven't actually strengthened we've replaced what we lost with worse versions so none of them have performed to the right level you've got two strikers who on paper are like you told us Vltimaad is one of the best signs of the season at the start of the year and Visser is a proven Premier League goal scorer but it ain't working so it must be a coaching whether or not they're listed as average like they have regressed since joining your club I think we're clearly there's like some systemic coaching I feel like we're overcoached in the final third where we're looking for this perfect...

6:22There's no room for anyone just to go for it and have a little bit of magic and try something. It's so dictated by what we're, like, tactically just coached into an inch of your life that we can't make anything. Would you say you're missing a striker? No, we're missing, like, someone who can unlock a defence, someone who can drag players out of position and, like, penetrate some... Like, every team in the world knows we're not going to fucking even shoot. so they don't even need to pull players out of position and block. They can just sit back, mark the players who are obviously going to. So what type of player is that you need?

6:54Because obviously you've got Bruno G and Tornali who can make, you can thread the needle, they can travel the ball. So what type of player are you missing here? You need like, say like a Morgan Rodgers. Obviously you're not going to go find, that's hard to find a Morgan Rodgers, but someone who's a bit more technical on the ball. Who can create a bit of... I think Bruno G's pretty technical. No, he's more, he dictates it a bit more. Tornali can travel the ball well. Tornali's a six. Yeah. He's on about like a Madison around the edge of the box. Because in fairness, Vortemar can do that. He had a few moments in that game.

7:26He beat a few players and then it's like you hit a brick wall. And this is like, we can point out like Vortemar, but it's like, the thing is, he's done, he does really well for Germany. I like Vortemar. He does great for Germany and he did well at Stuttgart in the second half season where he was flying a bit with them. It's like, it's very much a problem with how we're playing. Like, there's no question how good he is when he's banging in goals for his country. so he's also got he hasn't got a bad goal record for you has he he started with like 6 goals in 12 and hasn't scored in like 10 years he's got 9 and 36 this season he hasn't scored in like 10 years 36 games for you already a lot from the bench what fucking hell has that been 22 in the Prem 1 in the FA Cup 5 in the League Cup and 8 in the Champions League that is insane I didn't realise you'd play that many no he started he started like fucking bang hot and then we've just been bang hot he hasn't scored like 12 I didn't realise anyone has played that many games yeah look we're shit our season's over in the Prem let's try to win the Champions League.

8:17Whereas Yoko's got 13 in 32. You are, like, genuinely, you're, in terms of points, I know... 10 points off fifth, which is going to be expected to be Champions League. Because I always thought we'd be able to mount something in the second half and we haven't... Watch us and we're not improving. The issues are the same every game. And players look lacking of confidence. Ilanga's looking way better the last few games. He needs to start now. But you've become predictable, which in the Premier League is like a recipe for disaster. And you've succeeded more than you've scored now. Can I say what annoys me a little bit?

8:48It's like people on about, the biggest thing for some of our fans is like, change something. Where's the plan B? Number one, we've done plan B. We've tried three different systems in the last few weeks and we don't look any better. Yeah, but that's also not a good sign. And also it's not FIFA. It's not like you can just all of a sudden try a new formation or get a new coach in. What time are we supposed to develop? But the fact that he's doing that, he's panicking. I think you're right there, Tom. I think the fact that he's trying to change two blocks already. No, no, no. I don't think he's...

9:16No, he hasn't... The only time we've changed to... We've changed to a back five. You just said he changed three times. We've changed to a back five against tougher teams like PSG where it actually worked for us decent. Man City didn't go well. And the other time he's changed it is when we came in like down yesterday. No, but you just said in that he's tried challenging it three times in the last three weeks. Yeah, but reacting. So one of them makes sense back five to PSG which worked in working against City. The other one where two goals down a half time you've got to go more aggressive and he's put Vlissa and Volta Marder on together.

9:41so it's not panicking it's him reacting but that's not him changing that's just him adapting the game then yeah but if you're 2-0 down you would change PSG they set up before the game started no but like I'm saying this is what some fans are criticising him for not doing I'm like he is doing that number one and two like we have so many games at the moment you can't just fucking all of a sudden come up with this magic new is it not like beyond coincidental now that you we get to a point where he deserves criticism he definitely I don't disagree with a lot of the criticism to how the only thing is my end point is I don't think we should sack him because of it where other people are jumping I don't think people surely people aren't saying sack him

10:22by the way that's the booze it's a bit misleading because Eddie Howell's black and white army was getting chanted throughout all the games even against City as we're losing so some of the headlines are going to say what they want but reality I have the core fan base he has a lot of me sorry Lewis it is a bit concerning that like how I know Palace got a good result at the weekend but how poor Palace have been recently you're only one point ahead of Palace yeah it's a shit season I know we've won in won in nine before I know do you know what I mean like this is a concern surely you are concerned it's what a concern what am I supposed to be concerned about I mean like we're not going to we're not getting Europe your fixture run people the teams around you have an easier game should need Europe at a minimum yeah we're not but like we're not going to get that's a concern if it's fact of players next year as well it's a concern yeah but it's like it's going to halt your progress slightly yeah it's not going to be a slight halt it's going to be a massive blow in terms of attracting players.

11:14Tonali's probably going to leave. Yeah, that's correct. His age has already offered him to Arsenal. Yeah, I know, but Tonali's preference is supposed to be to Italy. I think if you fail to get Europe this year, Bruno G might be going as well. Lewis, it's one of the most worrying things. Because I think every club in the world will want him. He'll never leave. No, he said he won't. I think Tonali could easily leave. Hall, Livermanto, all those names could go. I don't think Bruno would go. Yeah, which is massive concern. Yeah, it's fucking shit. but like, fuck it. What if we win the Champions League?

11:42I think you'll struggle against Carabag. That's a tough away game, Matt. Yeah, and listen, it's just fucking if you go there and lose 2-0 or something, that's a tough one to turn around. You still should beat them because they're crap. Yeah, I can't believe he's just entertained. It's a long away game. It's not off the cards, Matt. It's a long way to travel. But the fact that you're entertaining a potential loss against... What are you supposed to do? When you're playing like this, it's weird. We're such a confidence team as well and we're so clearly like zero confidence what you said last week when you said we'll revisit this in four weeks time after we've lost every single game oh yeah trust me the prediction's good it's a dip in it I was going to ask you we'll move on to Brentford in a second because they deserve a bit of praise that's three defeats in a row at home you've now lost four games at James' Park in the Premier League boos at the final whistle is on the verge and we've not heard that since Steve Bruce is this on the verge of maybe turning turning i think no there's a portion i feel like the fans like there's a there's a smaller portion who are very like reactive and saying how out and i feel like the actual core fan base from what i've seen at the moment is like he's in like you see the boos but the chance throughout the game is eddie howells black and white army like yeah but that can happen where you it's almost like people are chanting to go back at the people who are booing and against it.

13:02It'll be like a split. The fan base is divided now. There is hardcore HAL fans and there's hardcore like get them out. But I just, I think it's silly. Just like, are you going to get in? Who's going to fix it? Like Man United, I've got very lucky with how like Carrick's solved it so quickly. Or have they just done the right thing? I don't think there's many instances where they just, I don't think, I think it's more likely that. But their practice has been a giant trial and error for about 10, 15 years. It's not. I wouldn't say he's lucky. I know, but I don't think that's, it doesn't normally happen like that where you're just going to all of a sudden instant fix my two my two senses I don't necessarily think he should be sacked but a part of me does think in such an open season this year where majority of the league is pretty poor in the top half the fact Brentford are where they are Brentford have been great but this is a very gettable season to get into Europe and at the minute at the minute under him I don't think anyone would put their money on how getting Newcastle into it so if you were to change manager because I don't think anyone would disagree you've got the players to get into the top six.

14:06So if you were to get rid of him, stop the rot and maybe bring, I don't know who, again, I don't know who you'd bring in. To play Dev's advocate here, you know you talk about the, it has been a poor at the top half of the table for sure. But if you actually look at the top six. Liverpool are crap at the top six. No, but if you actually look at the top five out of the six of them are the big six. So the clubs are up there. The clubs are on paper beat up there. Do you know what I'm saying though? Before the last few weeks everyone was saying and how crap man United are. Chelsea have got a PET in charge.

14:35Liverpool have been terrible. He's doing a good job. Yeah, I mean, all you've got to do is look at the form table of each of the biggest players. I just think it's such a... I agree. No, this is... I look at Aston Villa and I think that could have been us this year and I was expecting that to be us this year. They look a bit wobbly though. They're falling. It's just depth, isn't it? Ultimately, we're failing by a terrible transfer window and then all the games and the signings that we brought in for depth aren't performance. That means we're not actually getting the benefit of them with all the games is that coming?

15:00You've lost more games than you've won. That's fucking terrible. On the contrary though, Brentford have been fantastic. Keith Andrews, no one could have predicted Keith Andrews to do a stellar job like he's doing. Let's be honest. No one. You thought they'd get relegated? That was the joke. Where did they end up if you had money on the table, cards on the table, where are they going to finish? Eighth. Brentford. Eighth or ninth? Seven. Maybe even when they are. I think they'll nick seventh yeah because I think Sunderland's away for them he's going to hinder them top eight Europe depending on depending on mate if Brentford get Europe I mean that is I think Brentford are better than Everton and Sunderland yeah 100 % I think they're on a I think Fulham I know Fulham lost the weekend but I think Fulham have got something in them but do you know what's so incredible at Brentford it's that Bournemouth sort of mentality isn't it they lose their best players and they just they just keep the cog turning.

16:00Yeah, Brentford. Toulouse and Brembo and Visser and even Tony the year before. Yeah, but I mean, they had Thiago ready, didn't they? I mean, we mentioned him before, but it's our record signing. Henderson, the signing of Henderson. Kallar has been a great signing as well. Their recruitments are incredible. Yeah, it is. Really good. Janel as well was unreal the weekend. He's good, man. He's really good. Bournemouth 1-1 against Villa. Villa, they're missing their three midfielders. There's no surprise. Their depth is killing them. Their depth is killing them Which is I was a bit surprised They let Gesand go Just for depth Yeah He played really well For Palace to be fair But I thought That was a bit strange Bournemouth should have won really Mate how good Does that Ryan guy Also can I just say You know that Ryan goal Luke Kadeem Oh my god Yeah That might That's the I think that's the worst Defending I've ever seen People say corruption I actually agree The finish is a weird one It's like a sliced toe poke Onto the edge of the ball Crazy Nah yeah If I was If I'd have travelled down there And my left back did that I'd fucking There's no way he plays next game There's no way I'd never want to see him in my Club shirt again He's genuinely that bad People People say Yeah people say corruption That is unforgivable Yeah it's bonkers But look I don't know what he's even thinking He just I was thinking Does he think there's another player there Even so He just stops I'm confused I'm absolutely confused Yeah absolutely That's shocking That really shocking Rodgers took his goal Yeah he took his goal very well Evan Nilsson missed a few Evan Nilsson he's got to be the most frustrating if he plays for your team fuck me he's a good player but he's so good like at everything other than sticking it in the net like he set the one up for Christie as well he did brilliantly down the right but then any chance he gets he's shit are we slowly seeing a little two up top come back into sort of Kruppi plays just off him I know but you're seeing it a little bit more now rather than a lone striker because of our directed leagues going people are in possession like since Man United have gone to just pressing high that's what that's what Man United have done since Carrick's come in they've gone back to 4-4-1 and they're just pressing like mad or the league follows the format of a team that's successful that's trying to emulate them a little bit genuinely that's how the entire Premier League a team that are looking a little bit more successful in terms of winning games and scoring goals West Ham their new forwards are actually doing well that's a good one that's second goal That second goal is a brilliant football.

18:27The cross in was lovely. Juve with an amazing whipping. Yeah, it wasn't real. That Costa, Costa, what's his name? Castellanos. How do you say it? Castellanos. Castellanos. I told you, mate, you look good. Yeah. It was a very good goal. It looks very good. I mean, I wouldn't get too carried away because Burnley are just devoid of anything. Oh, no, no. Forget Burnley. They're down. That's five in a row for Somerville now. When was the last time a West Ham player did that? Who was it? Antonio. Now, quick quiz question. Oh, oh, oh, oh, fuck. Dean Ashton. I've seen this. Yeah, go on. I don't know. Nolan Hayward.

18:59No. Nigel Rokoka. No. Bit more recent. Bowie. Oh, play it. No, Jesse Lingard. Oh, purple patch. I remember that. If you look at the relegation zone. Mate, it's hot enough. West Ham are now three points from safety. Just below Forest. And then Leeds on 29. Spurs on 29. Palace have got big wins. They got off the 29 points. Brightness. But you look at Leeds, Spurs and Forest. You know, West Ham are so close to them now. Big, big, big week here. West Ham against Man United at home on the Tuesday night. And then Wednesday, Forest, Horst, Wolves. It's a big week for Hairstrands as well, isn't it? To be fair.

19:40It is. This is the fifth win coming up for the guy. Imagine, imagine. Oh, that would be scenes. West Ham getting another three points, bringing everyone back into contention. and he's got to sit there for another month plus. Year five again. Forrest are mental, aren't they? Leeds were good on Friday. They were really good. That is exactly, if you're Leeds after the little hiccup from the last two weeks, going into that game, that's exactly how you'd want your players to come out. They were at it from the fucking first whistle. Forrest. Could they go, like, if you think it's going to go down, is it going to go down?

20:18Mate, I'm still, I'm still, They might actually go down. I'm still... After all the stick I got. You might... You're even worse than I ever thought you would be. I said, and I got laughed out of the room, of West Ham could actually leapfrog them. And that still could happen now. Well, yeah, they could. Well, we were all saying that they started. They were ferocious back then. It's like how quick West Ham have changed and many nights have changed. I still think West Ham will go. Nah. Really? No, they got a bit of a... They're way better than Forest. Not with Costa Luglia up front. West have a crap.

20:54No, but they're improving. They got Bowen, Somerville, Costiani has. Yeah, they found their groove without Paquette, man. Somerville's class. It's Wednesday's game for Forest at home to the Wolves, obviously bottom of the league. Two wins and nine for Dyche. He's under pressure. Is there a chance we're going to see a third second at Nottingham Forest if he doesn't get a win over Wolves? Possibly, yeah. You can't rule anything out with him, can you? If they lose, I mean, they won't. Wolves are fucking terrible. But then who do they go to after that? Like Mr. Maranac, he'd just take over himself.

21:24He'd go and get Avram Graham. He'd go and get Avram Graham. Can I say... I do think we're getting a bit carried away with Westerham. They've had a good few wins. They are crap. Yeah, but momentum's a lot in football. They could keep running, beating the teams that are around. Is this not where Nuno shines when teams are up against him and he can counter? And also if it gives him the chance to take Nottingham Forest down after what they ended up doing. Do you not remember when he took over Forest and they looked terrible? Yeah, exactly. And then he just took them up. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, I still think they're crap.

21:58One team who I genuinely believe can actually get dragged into relegation battle and they're not far off it are Spurs. They haven't won a Premier League football match. I agree. They have not won a Premier League football match this year. How's he still in the job? Like, jokes aside. They haven't won a Premier League game. How's he still got a job? Because you're spending his time. Yeah, I've got a quadruple down. And actually, Tom, if I double down on this, They're against Newcastle at home. They're going to beat us. Then they're against Arsenal at home. Based on what we've seen. Fulham away.

22:22Palace at home. Liverpool. And no Romero for the next three as well. I tell you what. If we lose to Tottenham. Well, we all know he's got a red card. You all told me now, but he doesn't get red card anymore. Again, fuck off. He hadn't for ages. You see what Frank said. When we said it, it was applicable. Frank, after the game, was like, you know, seeing some of the long lines of like, yeah, he doesn't usually get red cards. The reporter corrected him. They've done our season a favour anyway. I draw against City. Sorry, carry on. him like after after he said that he's actually got sent off more style of any Spurs player he's six times isn't it yeah he's like oh I didn't know that it's quite impressive they were Spurs weren't that bad though until they got the red card you're not even really good I know obviously but you're not yeah they just keep doing it they actually look like such a good footballing team at the moment they're so fun to watch as well yeah they are they really are they're the best team in the league to watch there was one little segment where they went from like right back all the way up to left wing I don't think a single Spurs player got anywhere near the What am I watching now?

23:18This is not an Amarim team. Do you know he's quite solid at right back? Who? Dallow. He was all right. He's exactly what he's over it. Because he got one assist. He wicked one decent ball in. And Buemo might be injured. Apparently, you see him limping after the game, but apparently he did train. So a cautious one for them. But they've got a bit more... They've only got to play Premier League games now, right? So there's probably a chance that he can get... No, they're front fours class. Just let them do what they want to do. Where can they pit? They can finish second or third. Nah. Sorry, they can finish third.

23:57Third, yeah. I think they'll probably as well finish third. Second or third is an implication that it could be second or third. Six behind City. Well, no, because second's a different position. They could finish second or third. Not third. Yeah, they could win the league. They could get down. What are you on about? So the answer was yes, not no No, because realistically They're not going to finish second They've got a really viable chance of finishing third They're not going to finish second above City, are they? They could do Oh God, they're not Shall I, Theo? Well, they could The answer to my question was yes No, but mathematically Yeah, they could finish second We could finish third Welcome, welcome, welcome Do you think they have a realistic chance of finishing second?

24:44I say about 30 % chance For finishing second That's kind of realistic I don't think If Arsenal beat City And Man United keep winning their games There'd only be three behind City anyway If they win every game To the rest of the season They might win the league We can all do that At the way they go There's every chance Man United could win the league actually Let's not get carried away with No they are going to finish Sorry for trying to provide A different perspective No but anyone can go Can they finish second or third? Yes. But that's like me in that Newcastle segment saying, well, we can finish third though, lads.

25:18You don't laugh at me. Nobody's not. You don't shout at me. No, but we can. We can. That's your point. We can finish third. Yeah, but there's very much more of a possibility that Manchester United do it than Newcastle United do it. Mate, you've won 33 points. How are they going to get six points on City? Well, three is from when we beat them. You ain't going to beat City. We're going to beat Manchester City, so that's three already. And then if they drop another two or one. But in that time, Man United are going to win every game. They're looking like they could at the moment. So Opta do a predicted Premier League table.

25:47Oh, wow. Where are you going to be? They're not watching the football then, are they? They predict Arsenal right in this. Is this Statman Dave? Newcastle and 10 above London. At the end of the season. So for the listeners, Opta have done a predicted Premier League table. They've got Arsenal first on 80... Well, I won't say the points. Arsenal first, City second, Villa third, Chelsea fourth, Man United fifth, Liverpool sixth, Brentford seventh, Everton 8 Bournemouth 9 Bournemouth 9 Newcastle 10th Sunderland 11th Spurs down at 15th and they've got West Ham to go down as well with Burnley and Walsh I think Villa will drop out of the top 4 what's expected what's expected they'll be very disappointed it's done based off how many goals how many clean sheets rather than predicted they've got Man United but there's one stat that they don't account for guys and that's the magic of football that is so true Lewis that is actually so true do you think so Gary Neville came out and said recently over the weekend that he asked about the Carrick situation within the club so he actually asked someone at the club and they were basically saying we are looking at options already they're already assessing a full-time manager rather than a Carrick what are the chances Carrick gets the job and should he get the job I think it's dependent on how he finishes the season though I don't think there's any chance he gets it but I think like he is winning everything if they get top four win a I don't think if they get second I mean just give it him I don't think top four I think he has to go third.

27:12And do you think he would even want it? Yes. I don't know, but I don't see why not. But they won't go for Carrick. Tell you what, though. They'll keep him on as a coach. His stock will be massive. He might leave and just find a different club. His stock will be huge after that. Possibly. What, Spurs? Nah. That seems a bit of a... Ex-player. I know, exactly. I don't think they've got the quality of players. I just really like I like how unpredictable like say Cunha is like he actually has a fucking shot Cunha will shoot from anywhere it came across him and he just first time had a little whip of it that was unreal that was pretty you don't see it at all now though does me head in fucking strike it the Bruno goal was incredible as well yeah off his shin I just can fly in him back he meant that as well he 100 % meant it how good is Bruno where's he rank he's incredible we've said it I think he's the best 10 in the world at the minute, isn't he?

Read the full transcript

28:09On current form, yeah. Would you not say... Where does he rank in terms of Premier League? What? Great. What if he's the best in the world? He's the best in the Premier League. Oh. The problem is he's just not... Where does he rank amongst Man United greats? Where does he... The thing when you have Man United greats, they've all won so many 12 fights. He has won 12 fights. Yeah, but not the proper one. On your own belief. I mean, if I could... The issue that Bruno has is he's been in a period where the club's been struggling, even though he's been great throughout it, and people look on that differently to when yeah to be a great of the greats yeah yeah yeah if he was back in like the 07 era if he was in any other team like in the league then yeah but like he's up Man United have just like they're crazy how many like tens have they had other than Cantona he was calling midfielder put him down as a midfielder but he's not you can't compare Bruno with Scholes saying that Scholes played as a second striker but you wouldn't put him in the same category as Scholes Keane well yeah they won like 58 Premier League so you know what I mean that's what I mean I'd be interested to see what Man United fans think on that because they might they love them yeah no they obviously love them when they think of their grades like they'll look at their head here won't they naturally but maybe they include them anyways unless it's like total nostalgia boys they'll probably realise they will love that but could you make a case of Skulls King Bruno or would it be Skulls King Cantona Cantona was like his second striker but in behind you mean in all time 11 would Bruno be in there Bruno wouldn't be anywhere near an all time Man United 11 in the 10 no with the players that they've had they'd play whether he would be 4-4-2 like Rooney there's so many players who've done more Giggs, Ronaldo Beckham Scholes Keane Carrick like there's so many but he's he's a victim of a poor period for the club then isn't he true but taking away success then sorry unfortunately that's the way it is taking away trophies just on talent ability at all does Fernandes make a Man United in the Premier League.

30:06He stands out more because he's surrounded by shit. He's surrounded by shit. So he is going to... He's great, obviously, but if you put him in one of those teams from their top levels... He's got international... He doesn't stand out the same way. If he breaks the assist record, people will talk about him in that bracket. From the people who brought you It's the Dog Park comes... Is that a new bump on your dog's neck? Or is that bump Just a part of his neck Could be a bug bite Or something way worse Protect your dog from injury and illness With Progressive Pet Insurance Wait, there's another bump Right by the first bump Progressive Casualty Insurance Company and affiliates Not available in all states or situations Coverage subject to policy terms He does have international trophies One for the Arsenal fans, actually He's not getting in all-time Man United Who's he getting in over?

30:57Rooney, Cantona You can even, like, all the great strikers Van Persie like come on man Rude Van Nistelrooy he's not getting in there is he? Is that not you just being nostalgic no he's not Roy Keane's like the greatest captain we've ever seen you can't compare Van Nistelrooy to Bruno where are you going to play him then? playing on the bench so you're saying so he's not in an all time 11 alright ok let's quickly build an all time 11 for Man United yeah In goal Schmeichel right back Gary Newell centre halves probably Vidic and Rio left back left back Denis Irwin midfield three Scholes No, no, it wouldn't be a midfield three.

31:33They'd have Giggs Ronaldo, Keane and Scholes. Where's Beckham then? Probably not. Beckham's not, Ian. That's what I'm saying. If Beckham's left out, Beckham's better than I'm going to win. Who are you leaving out for Bruno? Fucking, I don't know. Maybe Trent. One for the Arsenal fans quickly. Hypothetically, Arsenal had Fernandes instead of Odegaard. I'll take Bruno Odegaard. Would you have won the Premier League for like the last two or three years? They would have been close. Would we have won it if we were part of the team? Yeah. I think so. I actually think, yeah. I think we'd be further ahead now if we had him this year.

32:07One of the big criticisms we had when you spotted it was Erdogan. Nah, because there's games like the Forest game. There's games where we've ended up, you know, going a goalless nil-nil. I think Bruno would have taken it like that. Nah, Bruno would have taken it by the stuff of the neck. That's taken a little bit away from what Erdogan has done over the last few years. What's he done? He went missing in the big games. That was the whole story. I'm not calling him out. I'm just saying one's out. I think he's going to do it. Bruno Fernandes would have took it. I love Martin. But you can have an affinity to one player and know that another player's better.

32:38Why do you love him though? What do you mean? Why do you love him? Flair. Like, he took on captaincy over the period that he was here. I loved him as a wonder kid as well. I think he's... I think he's a... I think he's a bit of a flaky captain if I'm honest. I wouldn't... I think I'd... I mean, I know from hearing stories about people talking to the club that they think he's a brilliant captain. so all I've got to do is just I'm not going to stand by the other people who said that what who said that just general consensus within Arsenal Dresden no I'm not I don't deny we can't verify this but who said that I also don't deny he's probably a lovely bloke but on the pitch he goes missing I think that was the criticism when they bottled it post-match interviews and stuff where they've said it yeah but they're going to say that no I think Rice should be your captain and Bruno Fernandes would have won you the league that's the difference I don't even like him but he would take it by the scuff of his neck I'm still on the side of you by the way I said Bruno was a better player than Erdegaard but it doesn't mean I disliked Erdegaard I do think as a captain though he's not your best player are we sleeping on Havertz in the 10 at the moment yeah he's great he missed a sit of the weekend oh it's okay isn't it nearly scored a I feel like Havertz gets babied a little bit no he doesn't he gets the Burtz treatment yeah he would have a good goal if he did he gets the Burtz treatment Havertz is a good player he is a good player but by your fans he's alright he's alright anything he does it's like what we do with Alanga any pass good job that's what you do I actually think that was one of his poorer games the weekend someone who hasn't been poor I know he came on and scored a breath Jokerez he's now got what the most goals out of any new sign in this season I believe it is no it's this calendar year he's got the most goals he no longer a dad he's been fully charged yeah turns out he's a rechargeable battery yeah he's brilliant he's a rechargeable charge every night and then all of a sudden he's clearly better than Volkmar he's not yet obviously there's no question Reeve is Yokoros better when Saka doesn't play yeah Saka's what do you mean having Maduweki instead of him Saka this whole time the stats suggest that he plays better when Saka doesn't start I don't know if that's true because I feel like I feel like he's had good games when they've when Saka started and good games when Maduweki started that's going to be coincidental can't it yeah you can look into I don't know though because Maduweki it's a small sample size it is but I think that's a good question because profile wise Maduweki I think Madweki would be easier to play with as a striker because you know what he's going to do every time.

35:03He's just going to try and beat his man down the outside and get it across. Saka's more unpredictable, which is why he's a better player. Madweki's always looking to create things for other people first. Saka's often trying to play a 1-2 with a midfielder. Madweki wants to beat his man and get it across. Yokoz should. But also, Yokoz didn't even start the weekend. No, he's just started. But I think actually that has a big play in it because when Jesus was injured, when Havertz was injured, Jokeres was really our only guy. And I think now that there is competition for his sport, it might have even just like kicked him up the ass a little bit.

35:36Oh, 100%. And even as a defender during a game, you're playing against two completely different styles of players. So like... Also, maybe the team is just learning how to play over striker again. Which is a completely fair point. If I do say something like that. Are we also just like... Also, can we just fucking admit he's actually quite good. Yeah, he's getting better. He's fucking good. he got better like stop with the hate fuck off he's good you know he's class yeah he's better than we all signing he scored a tapping which was completely made all from Martinelli on the break at the last minute of the game and the other goal he took well he took it well other than that what did he do he scored twice that's what he did mate that's what striker's job is it's just like when you talk about Haaland he only touched the ball seven times but he scored twice exactly that Haaland does it in the biggest games in the biggest moments when you really need him you didn't need him in that game but this is what I said at the start of the season no we didn't By the way, we did need him.

36:24We did need him, though. When you're 1-0 up against Sunderland... That is by definition you not need him because if he wouldn't have scored, you'd still win the game. Not necessarily, Tom. Yeah, no, necessarily, because Sunderland didn't score. He made it 2-0. It's actually pretty mathematically simple. He made it 2-0 to make it the hardest scoreline in football. But Theo, you're just flip-flopping. And then he finished the game off to 3-0. You're just flip-flopping here, though. You were saying he was a dead battery and he shit comes wrong. At the start of the year, when I said this is exactly the reason that he's been purchased, to beat the teams like this in and amongst the rounders that we struggled again in previous seasons to get it over the line.

36:53He's doing exactly that. Right, but my argument to that is in the last few weeks he hasn't done that. Also, you're lying. He scores in the Champions League. He scores in the League Cup semi-final. He's scoring the big games. So it's just an agenda you're doing which is wrong. He literally is wrong. You agree with us a week ago. Teams like this could be a bit odd. What are you talking about having scored in the League Cup? He was saying he was a dead not two weeks. you're saying he's a dead battery against Chelsea in the first leg how far back are we going? so he's scoring in big games that semi-finals are pretty fucking big game would you agree or do you disagree with that statement?

37:27do you agree with that statement? yeah against Chelsea second team well done oh you're always cheap and everything Theo genuine question genuine question so those two goals against Sunderland when he was going to win anyways those have convinced you you can't say we're going to win anyways because you don't know okay okay those two goals 1-0 against Sunderland who were one of the best teams in the league okay those just a question just a question just a question so two weeks ago you said he was shit a dead battery. You completely agree with us. I said it was dud. Did you? Okay. Dud battery. He's shit and all this.

37:54So these goals have now convinced you he's what? Also, that was last year. This year's been different. That was in December. It wasn't in December. It was a few weeks. It was genuinely a few weeks. No, you're just lying. It was after the Manunotti game. He did look poor. These couple goals, which are just... They did look poor. Yeah, because he's been shit all season. He's not allowed to improve. My point is, Theo. My point is, Theo. Our players are allowed to get better. My point is, My point is, these few little goals that he's got, a little tap-ins and then one of them was a good finish. For you, that's convinced you that he's went from shit-dud battery to a good strider.

38:25Yeah, and I'll take an example of Florian Verts as an example. Like, players can improve throughout the season. Don't compare him to Florian Verts, please. People are saying he's an awful waste of money. Now he's starting to get... No, but Florian Verts actually has like football in the middle. He's not the£100 million player, 100%. But you're seeing it. You're seeing it work. You're seeing it work. and maybe I was a bit too harsh on him a few weeks ago but I think he gets so much more criticism than a fucking Volta Marder or an Elangor it's media scrutiny because he's at Arsenal he's the cheapest of the lot yeah but he's at the best team if he goes another 10 goals without scoring is he still good or is he a dud battery again but we don't know if he's going to do it no no in a hypothetical if he does that are you going to stand by your guns are you going to flip back I don't know I think he's always been effective against teams like these the point is we've said he's shit it's such a cheap argument so he only does it against the weak teams in the fucking nothing games but he's not he's doing it in the big game I didn't say that I'm saying he's better against teams that shoot him rather than bigger games where he needs to be the focal point let me be clear with my standpoint I've said it from I think he's outright shit he's outright shit but you have to remember Theo he's playing in an Arsenal team who are by far one of the if not the best team in the world I reckon you can put many strikers from the Prem who are capable at kicking a football and they'll score some fucking tap-ins it doesn't make him an unbelievable striker Our argument is the whole thing with Arsenal has been in the last few years.

39:43As soon as they get a good striker, that's it. The league's done. And he's come in and in my opinion, you're worse when he plays. I will say to him, how many times have you already told us the league's done? Yeah, because you're... There you go then. So he brought in a striker and the league's done. I'm not saying... But it's the question... That's exactly what you've just said. It's the question not... No, I'm not saying that's what I said. I said that was the consensus. No, but it is what you're saying. He was brought in to win Arsenal in the league. And he probably is. If you take him out of the squad this season, do us will still win the league?

40:09No. No, because ultimately, we wouldn't have had Havertz and we wouldn't have J-Z, so we wouldn't have had a striker for the first half of the season. I actually think contextually that is a fair response. We probably don't win the league without him performing. The misrepresentation, Jokeres. Who are you playing up front? The misrepresentation, Jokeres. I'm not saying that. No, I agree. I'm not saying he's the transformation that we need. No, no, no. They were saying how good Mourinho was fucking four weeks ago. Mourinho would have scored more. He is fantastic. Actually, when he was having his game time, they went head-to-head.

40:38Marino was out scoring Jokere. Marino was getting picked over Jokere. Are we still... Oh, this was a joke? I actually thought this was a joke. I thought we were playing like a little joke. Your holding midfielder got picked ahead of him. As soon as Jesus come back from a massive injury, he was picked ahead of him. You were then all clamouring. No, no, no, no. The question was... The question was, would we win the league without him? I think that's a fair answer to say no, because it contextually in games like this where he's actually done something to win us points you already had you already had the points you couldn't know but you're saying he's got your life you're already one nil up if it was nil nil and he scored the goal fair enough you can see there's there's moment what do you mean oh you're struggling with fucking 12 and shit you're supposed to be winning the league and you're like your career's scoring it's certainly that's what That's what we've been missing.

41:30That's what we've been missing. For saying someone is a piece of a larger puzzle for us to win the league, isn't it an unfair statement to say that if you take it... No, no, no, that's not what you're saying. He said, he said, he said... No, no, no, the question from Will was... No, no, no, no, I'm sorry. When the stats come down to it, when the stats come down to it, you were 1-0 up. You were there. If that game ended right there, it was not. He's just... Multiple moments are wrong about that. You already have three points. It's such a cheap argument to say because we're 1-0 up against Sunday and the game's fucking wrapped.

41:58You act like something on a piece of shit side, mate. It's a cheaper argument saying Jokerez won you that game when you were already winning. No. That's a stupid fucking... Yeah, but you're saying... The argument is Jokerez won us that game. You're already winning? The answer to one question is still no. What are you talking about? And then you're like... And then your rebuttal to that is, yeah, but what about Burnley? You can fit it winning the game. That was my rebuttal. Yeah, a terrible rebuttal. Your Arsenal gets Burnley. Because the answer to the question that he asked for the panel was if Jokerez wasn't part of your team, would you still win the league?

42:27I think it's a fair argument to say no because he contributed this season why is it crazy I think you can go through any of the I think go to the set piece man before Jokeres and Satin he won us the league Jokeres did not win without because this is why take Jokeres out of that starting line up the whole point of a football club winning any Premier League is that everybody contributes yes because he's take Jokeres out of the team would you have won the league this year without Kepa what he's not a first team player Neither is Jokeres When you've had everyone Fully fit by the way Yes he is But that's not Jokeres isn't your Number one striker That's not Premier League Relevant I mean No no no The answer to that is No without Kepa No he's yes Without Kepa You'd still win the league Wouldn't you Because Kepa's not Oh yeah the answer to that is So without Jokeres What games Wouldn't have you Picked points up in We'll have to go Through every single game It doesn't mean You play with 10 It doesn't mean Jokeres to fucking Kepa By the way If you I wasn't It's so stupid Theo I was making making the point of Kepa, because Reeves then going, everyone in the squad plays a part.

43:30Every time one nil, he scored the penalty for it. Can I, can I? So there's two points, two points. Burnley scored to get one nil. With the score and the penalty, I back any other arsehole player to score a penalty. It's not like you paid. Reeves can't counter your point, and then you can just legit. No, no, we'll give him that. We'll give him the two points. We'll give him the two extra points against him. You do realize you don't play with 10 men without Yocker. Burnley scored the first goal of Burnley. You won two nil. There was two of the Ornid games. and Leeds and Burnley that's not how it works Theo Leeds and Burnley are the only two games it's scored when it was nil nil it's an extra four points Tom what?

44:01no yes I'm not counting Burnley because you've won 2-0 so without Jokresi's goal you still win that game that's how it works there's only one game so you're saying he doesn't count when he scores the second one oh my god how do they not understand this is not how it works I'm saying if you take Jokresi's goals out of every game how many less points would you have? Tom can I say so far it's two less points this is such a big hypothetical because when it's 1-0 You're saying if it's 1-0 and someone scores a second goal, it's basically irrelevant. I'm not saying he's a well-beater. I'm not saying he's a well-beater.

44:28That's not how football works. Do you know that? I agree. It's a fucking stupid argument. No, I agree. Jokic technically came on and killed the game the weekend. Yeah. But factually, he didn't win you the game because you were winning. You're a football guy. You know that's not how football works. No, I'll just explain that. But you could say he actually did win us the game. I don't agree. Sunderland could then go on equal if he didn't make it 2-0. So the whole argument is just... I don't agree. So Jokeres, right? Jokeres on this. If you take him out the team and another player comes in, I don't think Jokeres brings such a specialist amount of ability that, say, a Rice does where he's irreplaceable.

45:03Oh, yeah. You know what I mean? I totally agree with that. But the answer to Will's question was no. I think you could take in any striker that you signed for 15 million and put him up there and he would have had the same impact. Raul Jimenez would have had the same impact. Yeah, but I agree with that. But then... But that's not... That's not what he asked. Yeah, no. We're not saying, oh, is he the best striker in the league? No, I don't think he's the best striker in the league. He hasn't won you the league, though, because he's replaceable. Rice has won your league. You can't replace him without him.

45:28You do not win the league. Would we have won the league without him? I think the answer is no. We haven't won the league. 100%, you would. 100%, you would. Because he's replaceable. You would have had someone else. Yeah, he's replaceable. Rice isn't replaceable. Take him out. You can't replace him with anyone out there. Because he's probably the best in the field. Exactly. You take out Jokeres. There's 50 strikers out there who would do the same job, it's not better than what he's done. You're quoting a penalty against Everton. You could take any striker from the world. I'd fancy them to score a penalty.

45:57It's what they do. He's replaceable. But if we didn't buy Yoko, then we wouldn't have anyone that starts to see it with Marina up top. No, because you'd sign another striker that you could sign anyone. You could sign anyone. I think you're nitpicking, but all I'm saying is Yoko has just played a part in the season for us to be six points ahead of Man City. I'm nitpicking, but you're going about a penalty at Everton and a goal against Burnley? No, because you are. You asked for us. What you did was, I gave you two examples, you went, no, they don't count because both teams are shit. That's not how it works, mate.

46:23You're right. You asked him a question. No, you've been missing this. He responded with an answer and you said you're fucking stupid. If only you had a good penalty taker, you would have won it all those years ago. It is quite amazing. Saka is a good penalty taker as well. Exactly. So he would have scored. You didn't need him. You didn't need Jokerez. But you're giving him, but you're saying, yeah, he won us that game. As if no one else was on the pen. I'm saying him contributing to the game is the reason why we took points

46:47You're treating him like a charity case and that wins down to him because he scored a penalty. You could put anyone on that team on that pen. You literally asked him a question and he answered with a reasonable answer and then you're saying he's fucking stupid. I don't know what you're so offended about. When you lost, when you needed him, you needed someone to step up. I agree. I agree. I already said this to you. I said I don't think he's necessarily the solution for bigger games, but in the smaller games against teams where he's actually, you know, puts his weight around, he's shown that he can be involved in contributing for us.

47:17It's not such a low bar. It is. It's saying this striker will only do it against the Burnleys. It's like your Arsenal. Anyone will... You're dominating these teams, of course. I think for the Man United game, it's a bit Arsenal-Jokers. Bear in mind, he didn't even start against United. So to say, like, oh, we need them to step up, you could say about the whole team. I think that's a weak argument. Yeah, I know, but it's not a weak argument. I'm saying, hang on, you're the one wanking yourself off because the weekend you come off the bench and win you the game. Why didn't you come off the bench and win you the game You're trying to argue against Reeve without knowing that he didn't start against Man United.

47:49No, our whole argument is, when it matters to me. You literally say, where was he against Man United? Why didn't he step up? He didn't fucking start against Man United for first place. Second of all, how come the whole team didn't step up? So you're trying to nitpick on one little player. Do you see all those games there? And every time Reeve has a rebuttal, you two both fucking like... We've actually answered the rebuttals fine. You're just in the corner going, you're nitpicking rather than listening to the rebuttal. Yeah, but he's saying, where was Jokovic against Man United? Yes. Okay, okay, okay.

48:11Okay, okay, okay. I'm sorry, yeah. Where was he? Mikey Strak is on the bench. All right then, where was he against Forest? Or Liverpool? Or Bournemouth? Or Villa? Or Brighton? Or Wolves? Or Brentford? Or Chelsea? Or Palace? Or Fulham? Or West Ham? Or Newcastle? Or City? Like, the list goes on. You're fucking jizzing over the fact he's come off the bench and scored a decent finish against Sunderland at O, where the game was won anyway. This has got completely out of context. No one's jizzing over that, by the way. He was asked, would we have won, do we think we'd win the league with or without your career?

48:44Of course you would. And that's the question. He's defending a striker player. What do you think? Do you think you win the league without Jokeres? Do you think you win the league without Jokeres this season? I think it'd be considerably harder, yeah. Just answer the question. At least he's answered with his opinion. You're going down on the fence. What's your opinion? Do you think you win or don't? With or without Jokeres? Yeah. I'm not sure we'd be this far ahead without him. Just not an answer, is it? At least he's dying on his health deal. Yeah, but I'm trying to be fair and reasonable. No, at least he's seen his opinion without Jokeres this whole season.

49:13would you have won the league? I think you don't want to answer because you agree with me and Tom but you're too far down this rabbit hole now. Really quickly. My point is the banana skin games of previous years where we'd go fucking hell we should be getting more points there. He's actually turning up in those. Do you understand my counterpoint of I think any striker you sign would have been able to do what he's done if not more. It's not like he's brought into specialist schools. Yeah but he's played a part in doing that just because he's been brought and he's not someone that you expected him to doesn't mean he's not done that.

49:45It's a hypothetical based on absolute realism. If we want to just argue about fact, then we won't have a conversation. I think, in my opinion, everyone had better expectations of what he'd come in and do, but it doesn't detract from the fact that he's actually coming in and still done something. Can you not see how low that bar is? He's done something. Yeah, but... He's done something. Yeah, but the low bar that you're mentioning, obviously, the games that he hasn't scored in, he's still been a part of us winning all games. But just because he doesn't say a one next to the goal column doesn't mean he's not done something Other new strikers, this is in the Premier League.

50:14He's the Chiefs as well. But Reid, the kind of argument is, I can't give you examples for every single game. Reid, you're taking out the team and he's replaced by someone. Not in the bigger ones. Certainly in the smaller ones. I think that's a fairly fair thing to say. Really quickly, I'll give you that. We've had 10 minutes on this striker, so we'll move on. Yeah, yeah. But I really want to ask you now. It's your fault, mate. You asked the fucking question. And I might be at risk of doing it again here. In the summer, do you trust Jokoros or do you go in for a new striker? I trust him. you have to I don't think you have a choice I think you have to trust him why?

50:44you definitely have a choice you have a choice you have to trust him you have a choice and also we've still got how many months left of the season? I think if it's a working formula why not carry on? he's got 8 goals in 23 Premier League matches well but Jesus was coming and replacing him straight away as soon as he was fit yeah so that's great that's what I'm saying but that's great depth you still keep both moving forward but also you could argue not only did we need an out and out number nine but you could also argue like how injury prone is Jesus right? No, but two seasons ago. So you needed someone to provide that competition for him.

51:11Two seasons ago, everyone sat around and went, Jesus is great, but he's just not the man to lead you to a Premier League title. And then suddenly, now that's the number one option. Yeah, because I think having someone who is so injury prone isn't necessarily the guy to win you a Premier League title. No, but that isn't what I'm saying. Everyone was saying, Jesus, as a player, he's great, he's great, but his finishing isn't good enough. And Arsenal need somebody who's going to come in and score the goals to win them the league. And now you've gone and signed that striker. Jesus is still your number one option after being out for about 18 months.

51:39I don't think he is number one since he's been back will he fit Jesus has been the starting striker not every game he hasn't or in the bigger the bigger games he has hasn't he but I think the problem with Jesus is always going to be his fitness issues it's always going to be his fitness issues he's so easily you need someone who's a bit more robust who doesn't really get injured and that is a Jokeres I'm not arguing about I don't know what you're on about here I'm confused you're talking about how Jesus has started starting track and whatever but I think that's a real bad like look for Jokka is it he's already not well that's why he needs to fucking switch up and start scoring more goals and that's why when he came on for Jesus at the weekend he scored too and that's a good sign for Arsenal yeah definitely it's a very good sign for Arsenal you need that you need the players to be battling against each other to push each other within the squad if someone say do you agree with me no no I'm saying the question Will asked was in the summer it's a I don't know Creepy Junior or someone comes available, would you rather that or keep Jokeres?

52:40I think you'd go in for Krupa Jr. for sure, but he wouldn't necessarily be a starting striker going forward because he's only 19 years old so he'd be a great addition to the squad. He also plays like a 9.5. Yeah, he's like, hmm, I agree with him. No, I don't agree with you. I think you don't believe. I feel like you're not deep down. I think you're trying to be good fans and I think you're trying to believe in him, but actually, you know he's not that good. Do you know what I think though? I know it's in the Portuguese league but you know you can score goals, right? Do you not think there is a player there?

53:14I agree with Reeve. I think as long as it's accepted and kind of known that he's the man for the smaller games then fair enough. To country that, Tom, what Lewis was saying just now with a hypothetical is we have a lot of big games coming up. Champions League, there'll be Champions League and important games. League Cup, finals, FA Cup. There'll be a lot of big games coming up. That's what you need. And I think it's only fair to judge a Premier League striker off a season. Not half a season. I'll see how he does in these games and then properly judge him. I'd like to see if he even starts them.

53:49If he comes into these Champions League games, because I know he's scored in the Champions League so far, but this is where it gets a bit more real. And in the later stages, and he's having these clutch moments, then this whole argument's different. Because ultimately, you are going to win the Prem this year, but then it's the next level, which is if you say you don't win the Champions League, It's like winning the Champions League and you need a striker who's going to do that. I feel like he excels in those kind of games. Against teams from other leagues. His stats would say he's more suited to Champions League football.

54:15Yeah, and Martinelli. Well, that's this one striker you can't doubt. Haaland. Well, you say that, mate. Winning against Liverpool. Yeah. VAR. Disgust. Oh, that's ridiculous. That final goal is, what are we doing? It ruined. I've seen a thing. I agree with Gary Neville. He's just scrapping before the ball winning. See it comes to the end of the wire and Man City do it or whatever happens. that's such a no but just more in terms of that's such a good footballer moment that last few minutes was chaos and it was just ruined they've got away with it because it was almost a nothing goal I agree but can I just play devil's advocate who have Liverpool got next Sunderland how would Sunderland feel if Sunderland could play in that game and score as the winner do you know what I mean like the only thing that annoys me is he didn't deny a goal scored opportunity because the goal went in it's a yellow isn't it No, no, no.

55:05It's because technically he stopped Haaland scoring. Yeah, it's not a free kick then. And then Haaland fouled Sir Bozlai to stop him. The way I've thought about it is it's like you score, but then they pull it back for a penalty and then give a yellow card. It's like, well, I'd rather... Yeah, there was no goal that was prevented. The argument is Haaland stopped Sir Bozlai from saving the goal. I feel like we're in a weird career. Which I think is a fair argument. It is, but only because Sir Bozlai stopped. ultimately I think both would have been like yeah fair enough there I just don't know why they didn't just go they both fouled each other yeah cancel each other out like it's really not I think yeah I feel like it's such a niche area that this happened we're over refereeing it again does Cherki get a goal bonus imagine that was a winner and not a nothing goal do you know what I mean yeah yeah that would be horrendous that's why they have to uphold a lot I don't think I don't think well no because that would have been fucked up I don't think they'd have the balls to pull that back there if it was a winner.

56:02Well, they'd have to. The law of the game because then otherwise the other team would be like, I feel like this is more of a grey area though. It's rare that you'll see this exact scenario. So it's like, even now they'll be looking back thinking that probably cancels itself out. I think they could have used common sense there and gone. And also there was like five seconds left. Are you saying they could have used the common sense rule? Is that what you're saying? I don't think there is a common sense rule. What a fun ending to the game though that was. It was a great game of football. The old game was great.

56:25Pretty mental, wasn't it? So Boz's last free kick is just insane as well. Yeah. By the way, the two-man wall, what's going on? That is so clear. That is so light. He's going against it. Because people are like, do you not remember there was this whole argument. I think Mike Lohan came out and said like, that far out, you may as well have no wall because then the keeper can see where it's going. But now people are saying, because he scored it, everyone's like, well, it should have had four. I just think if you're Shobhasla, you're standing over that, you see two-man wall, you're loving that. It looks so much less dark.

56:50It's so far out. Also the way he hits it because he cuts across it. Donnarumma thinks he's going the other way to begin with. So he's almost planted. Do you know how good that free kick is to beat Donnarumma? Sometimes you just have to go, what a goal. How good was Donnarumma during that game? Yeah. It's a joke of the goal, isn't it? He's so good for any cross. There's no question he's punching it out. He takes care of so many scary situations. It's such a jarring result though. Why? Because I thought Liverpool were going to do it. They're going to do Arsenal favour. and the City to fucking win a game here.

57:23By the way, Liverpool should have won the game. Salah's, I can't think he fucked the pass, but Salah's outside the boot cross, if that went in, it would have been so fucking sexy. Salah was so poor. He should be scoring there. No, Salah was poor. He should be scoring there. Well, he should have went to Virts, really. I don't think Salah was that bad. I think he was poor. I seen him getting slated on line off. I thought he had a few good moments. Spotlight's on him a bit though now, isn't it? Apart from that cross, he couldn't kick a ball. if you're going to kick up he had that cross he had the one where Gay could have been sent off he had a few moments if you're going to kick up a fuss though like the spotlight's on you now you're doing that baby thing with Salah no I'm not off you know my thoughts on Salah and how shit he's been I thought yesterday he was okay I thought Gay he was really good he stopped some important through balls through for Liverpool he was lucky though oh did he was he lucky did I get sent off I think so Salah was getting that ball I can't believe Diaz was coming across covering right I agree but Salah would have got that ball I don't understand and Salah has scored from that position yeah a lot of times against City every single time I thought he was a little bit lucky there but I understand why they've given it because it's impossible to say for sure but in my opinion Salah would have got there definitely and he's probably going to hit it first time or yeah that's the first I thought Nunes was unbelievable again yesterday though first team fuck me he's been so good at right back for them this year yeah we spoke about him top three right top three go on I know the stat you're going to say that's the first City win at Anfield with fans since 2003 it's their first they've only won there three times because the time that they won again was Covid it's their first domestic double over them in 1930 yeah 37 that's weird innit that's really weird but good for the league though in terms of the neutral no it's not yeah I wanted to ask you a question on Liverpool I don't know if it was good as I yesterday after a few poor weeks a question on Liverpool of, what is it, four points behind fifth now.

59:13Yep. Will they make Champions League? Do you know what, right? So I've seen someone mention this yesterday. If you take away Liverpool's start, like the first four or five games, they're like bottom, bottom half. Like those first people get a few games is carrying them. They've only won six league games since like September. Do you think if they don't get Champions League with how much they spent in the summer, that could be catastrophic for Liverpool. like catastrophic that could that could like punish them for a few years to come they could be in the it goes to show how important your recruitment is because it can just it can kill you because it's not even this season it's the repercussions next year no Champions League no that EZAC purchase just seems so stupid now well yeah that's hindsight yeah I know it's hindsight he could have kicked on to be the best striker in the league why didn't they trust the Ekiteke buyer they could have they could have seen it that morning do you know what I mean I mean like that would have been over this though.

1:00:10You know Tom like when Isak's available you get Isak that's why. I appreciate that but like when you spend 80 million on Ekotika or even the off-raiser you spend 60, 70 at Wolf's Volta money this is your number one strike you buying 60, 70, 80 million on the drive-up. But they wanted to dominate the Premier League for years to come and they bought the two biggest strikers in European football that were available right? I think by the time Isak gets back gets his fitness back up gets a run in games the gap between Ekotika is coming along he's like a younger, like less polished version of Izak, but Izak's a bit, I feel like you can rely on, if Izak's on his off game compared to Eketike, you'd rather have Eketike, because when Izak's missing, he's gone.

1:00:46When he's on his best, he's unbelievable. Yeah, but you're right, Eketike missed an absolute city yesterday. I know, but I'd class that as a bit an off game, but he was still busy. He was shit. Yeah, I mean. Nah, he's still busy. When Izak's missing, he's missing. You know for a fact that Izak is one hell of a player. No, no, look how we're doing without him. We're useless, but I think he's going to have injury problems like take that away he's actually better than he can see yeah he is mate what's the issues with Liverpool now because they've conceded four 90th plus minute goals which is the most in the Premier League campaign isn't it I think is that the start joint most joint most vice Premier League side and Premier League campaign that's concerning that's very concerning means they're switching off nerves nerves for a team who is so used to being comfortable and dominant when they get to the latter end of games where oh fuck they panic just to let you know just not even controlling the game like they used to the other teams who did that Watford 17-18 West Ham 21-22 Watford 21-22 Southampton 24-25 they're like relegation for the teams they struggle fitness as well I can put down to if slots come in because this season he's tried to get more possession based hasn't he instead of the old gung-ho I don't know man they're such a strange team but it's almost guaranteed with the erratic nature of how they play as well well they've got Brighton in the FA Cup at home on Valentine's Day.

1:02:07Could lose that. And then they're out there for a cup. Yeah. But then again, they'll beat Brighton. Fuck me, you watch Brighton lately. They're in trouble as well. Yeah. One for Reeve and Theo. Go on. Man City, between the teeth. Such a big win for me. Just for confidence for us to the season. Because this is when Man City traditionally go on runs. When they play them in, what is it, April? Yeah. Not worried yet. Not worried yet is the answer. When will you be worried? That's a big win For Pep and his team That's like A confidence booster What the result is at this They beat you You know what though Right They've been there And done it though I wonder if you go And play Stay out to win Add fuel to the fire When we play on Wednesday I think it is If City go and beat Fulham Fulham They're three points Behind I'd be very interested So you've gone from a nine point To a three point And the mentality When do you play I think Wednesday I'd be interested to see When you play City If you score and do the classic play for a draw.

1:03:05We technically played twice this game. I would play Thursday. We technically played twice this game. How important is the League Cup final? Huge. It's everything, mate. Yeah, yeah. I genuinely think whoever wins that every chance. No, because it could be 12 points by then. Yeah. Mate, I know it's great for the league that City did that. City are nowhere near Arsenal's level at the minute. I agree with that. That's why I'm not worried. Would you really, genuinely, put everything on City beating Fulham Wednesday? I wouldn't. I honestly wouldn't. Who's at home? Is that City? I just don't trust Man City at all this season.

1:03:47I've lost. Could it be Brighton the other week? Brighton can't beat anyone. Yeah, and I don't think Arsenal have the bottle in them as much as recent years, as sad as that is. No, I just think the quality discrepancies. It's not even the bottle gene, Louis. It's just the quality discrepancy. I feel like that experience would have helped you, definitely. You've been in this position before. West Ham beat them 3-1. But they are good, do you know what I mean? They're on a bit of a wobble at the moment. They're good at home. It's a statement. The Leeds one was more of a statement. The Leeds one is a statement.

1:04:24Theo, that's not a statement win. Being Shundland at home isn't a statement win. I'd argue it is. Do you really think, what, beating a promoted team 3-0 at home is a statement win? Well, where are they on the table? Ninth. Even as a statement win I feel like if you look at their recent form because I think in recent years Arsenal's every chance Arsenal can drop those points that's what I'm saying they're the Broncos and you would back it every chance Arsenal would drop them points but these are the games we're not doing it now Arsenal's 17th actually still in the 17th in the away league table yeah but it's still like it doesn't matter well that's irrelevant that's irrelevant I'm saying these are the games we're now winning yep this is the difference with the bottle and the not bottle no I do agree with that but I think a statement win I agree Leeds won that's a statement win Brentford away this week is a tough play that's a tough way to go and then Wolves we've got a double game especially if City beat Fulham that will be a statement win speaking of Wolves which is obviously Arsenal's second in the double game because of how the League Cup final played out Wolves 3-1 lost to Chelsea Palmer hat-trick first half I'll tell you what mate them penalties what are they doing mate Jose Sar did you not think it was well weird than pens no what about giving him away I thought the way he took them was weird.

1:05:42How bad's that? Honestly, what the fuck is he doing? What's Mascara doing? He's, he's, he just goes, I don't understand him. He completely two-hand pushes him and turns around. He's like, what? Are you fucking sure? Nah, I don't. It's like the Alisson reaction in the Man City game. Wipes him out and then goes, nah, I don't even know what you're looking at. Do you think Jose Sarg, he went really early on both the penalties. You're part of playing the whole Chilly Mind game. I thought the penalty was just like, it looked like Palmer was like taking like a training pen. I'm sick of blaming the police now.

1:06:14They're just shit. What else do you expect? You're so bad. I don't even want to defend them anymore either. Well, you can't really. There's nothing to... Second half was different now. You were buzzing for a couple of weeks. You ran it back a little bit. And then you said you're going to not get relegated. And then you gave you the commentator's curse. You scored a goal. Do you know what I mean? You actually said they might stay. I said they were going to finish above West Ham. Wolves. Yeah, that was my rogue take. You said they were going to finish above Burnley? They looked good for a couple of weeks.

1:06:43Yes, you did. No, I didn't. I don't remember, but it could be true. I definitely didn't. It could be true. It could be. Cole Parmalo, back in the goals. He's not fit, though. He's not fit. Yeah, but he's that kind of explosive nature, isn't he? He can just get a hat-trick in the first half of a football match. Come on, those two pens, man. You've still got to score them. Yeah, but it's not... Banging on about how good Clive was last season because he scored a hat-trick against Wolves. I think it's actually going well, but he's clearly not fit, is he? Let's be honest. Oh, yeah. He's definitely not fit.

1:07:11Yeah, someone just statpiling against Wolves. I think that was... He was probably goalsy. The dressing room was like, I'm going to go for three. I don't get to me. The keeper's probably there, like, I'm going to go for a corner. Yeah, I think... Mate, Wolves are so shit. It's quite funny. What was the breakdown? Because obviously you were on a lad holiday with quite a lot of the time. What was the breakdown? We were actually out on the mountains just checking the scores. We watched the games live. We didn't see. we watched the Man United Spurs and then what was the later game? Newcastle-Brentford yeah we watched that and then but yeah that one I think they don't really care Wolves they're just like they're past he's probably just prepping for going down though is that what they that's why they spent 7 million on Adamal yeah maybe the strand lost some money on run yeah it's to the championship wrong now it's long why did Kretschke not start?

1:08:02to be honest I didn't go on Saturday because that was her birthday and it was probably the best Saturday I've had in the long time. And I'm not going to lie, I've barely took any notice to it since. I've just tried to leave it out. I've seen he was on the bench, but I didn't know if he had a knock or something because he's one of your best players. Do you have any players who can secure a Premier League move from there? He's sniffing around. I think that's why Angel Gomez has gone there on loan. Also, how weird is that, by the way? He's just in the England squad a few years ago. I think he's putting himself in the shop window.

1:08:34Yeah. And also Wolves have got an obligation for what? 7 mil or something? 7 mil, yeah. They can flip that straight away. He's got Crabb after 77 minutes. Yeah. So he must have hardly played. Because he's not physically, he ain't got the physicality, has he? But if Wolves sign in, why is it 6, 7 mil? We can make a profit. They can make a profit. Oh, good job the camera's over here. Oh! They can make a quick 5 million just like that in the summer. Goal bills. Quickly touch on... Wait, wait, wait. Do you break the record or not? I don't know, man. Getting close, innit? I keep... Was it three more points they needed?

1:09:05Four Is it twelve? Four points to break it Three points to eat glit I don't know I don't think we will But then What are you on? Seven? Eight You're on eight Oh you're on eight So run through the fixtures And we'll decide right now Will Wolves break down Yeah go on Let's go through the little fixtures I only won one game Ooh And do you know what? Listen to this right I've got a season ticket Got a load of away games Just the games that I've somehow missed I've missed all our wins So I've never I've not seen us win since April I've missed five games since April Oh bless you man What do you mean All your wins You've won one Yeah but the cup games As well Oh fuck Like Shrewsbury That's a massive game We've won four games Alright let's have a look Loss I could see you Getting a point At Forest That is such a big game I could see you Nicking a point there Make Grimsby away They knocked out United I could see us losing that Yeah I could see you Losing that Arsenal loss Palace loss Villa loss Villa You always do alright against Villa at home.

1:10:04Nah, Villa lost. Lost. Liverpool lost. Brentford lost. West Ham lost. Leeds lost. West Ham win. You'll beat Spurs. So I'm 11. That's your equal the record. That's your free point. No, and a point against Forest. Yeah, end of April, mate. You might come down to the last game. And you got Burnley on the final day of the season. Imagine they get to Burnley. That's a great game. Final day of the season. Leeds play West Ham on the final game of the season as well, right? Are you telling me it's... But that's a huge... I'm saying that's a fucking great... A corker final day, is that what you're saying?

1:10:33it will be we'll see you there lads I mean Burnley Wolves will be the most depressing fan day ever won't I yeah that was shit knocking it around the back for a nil nil quickly touching on Everton Juicy Hall back in the friendly shots go out they were lucky Everton fuck Fulham had a lot of chances like fuck me Jesus Christ should have went to bed in the first half Fulham have come away with nothing there smash and grab from Everton but that Chuck Wasey looks class I like him a lot I like him a lot I was talking to John yesterday like the Fulham's like depth on the bench I haven't seen anything like that in a long time Oscar Bob as well Oscar Bob Kevin on the bench I can't remember some of the other names Fulham are good they got linked with Joe Willock that'll be a good little addition Palace winning the M23 derby can we stop having this game on telly by the way did anyone see it's not a derby it's raucous nobody gives a fuck about it and the games are always shit see Dean Henderson knee slide to the away fans it's a raucous game mate, fucking argy-bargy is going on.

1:11:33Where's my back here? He had St. Nisle at the end. I swear to God, it was unbelievable. Do you think Stran Larsson will be alright for Palace? Yeah, we spoke about this last week. Stran Larsson. Given the way that they set up, I think with the winger service, it'll actually be pretty I mean, he's probably overpriced, but he'll be sound for them, won't he? Yeah. Especially if JP stays now. JPM. Yeah, I was going to say, what the fuck happened with him? He failed his medical, didn't he? Oh, is he medical? Yeah, he had knee problems. Oh, I don't know. All I say is, I don't wish injuries on anyone, but Carver exists.

1:12:02I think Palace knew about it, and they were just trying to like, fucking let's pray he does it, pray he does it, then he failed the medical. Like, fuck! Knew about what? The knee problems. He's had it throughout the first half of the season. He's just crossing their fingers, like, please get through it. Literally that, yeah. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the Premier League review, brought to you by your friends at Pitchside. And speaking of Man City, we are now about to do a tier list of the best Manchester City signings. Yep. because we came prepped and we now know officially what they all cost as well.

1:12:33We're supposed to just see the numbers and see clever. Also, everyone's been saying how they've had a great January, so we're going to talk about that. That is true. Nico Gonzalez cost 50 million. Will, pull that up. Are we going to start from the bottom now we're here and start from the cheapest to the most expensive? I think so. Have we told them we're doing a tier list? We're doing a tier list. Yeah, we have. I said tier list. The cheapest player they bought in their last 25 signings is 8 Nuri for 31 million quid. He's signing that, isn't he? He's decent, yeah. He's been injured a lot, but I think he's a bit early.

1:13:03He looked all right in the last couple of games. He looked good against Liverpool. We need to be careful with how we differentiate here. Yeah, but just the standard breakdown of the tier list, guys, is S-A-B-C-D. Because, like, there's a lot of good players here. So we don't want to put, like, Ait Nuri B, because then you're going to hamstring yourself with future signings. I will say, Ait Nuri, he's 30 million quid for a starting Man City player. He doesn't really start. Going forward, he is, doesn't he? He'll start over O 'Reilly at left back, won't he? I don't know. He already is. He's pushed O 'Reilly further forward.

1:13:31I think he's C. I'd guess C, just for now. I think C. There's a lot of good players here. There's going to be a wide spread. Yeah, I'm just having a look through the entire list and I think it's probably way too early to say he's B or higher. Yeah. Nourian C? I think that's probably... Any goals? Do you think he'll turn out to be a successful signing? Would he work his way? I think he'll be good, Joe. It's just the competition with O 'Reilly at left back, isn't it? It depends whether O 'Reilly I think he's been bought to be a good squad player, which is what they need. Kusunov, 33 million. He had a ropey start to his City career.

1:14:05I like him a lot. I think he's good. People just remember the start. He's good. He's still a bit raw on that, but he's going to be solid. He's really young, right? He's really young still, isn't he? I like him a lot. I think he's B. The first Azerbaijani in the Prem ever as well. Do you think B or C at the moment? I think B. He's playing a lot of games. Is he a tier better than Aitnori? I think he is. He's Bekastani. Not as a buzz on him. Oh, fuck. He's prone to a little error. Why do you write that down? He's solid. I think you have to. You have to put him above Aitniri. Turns 22 this month. Do you need to put him above Aitniri?

1:14:37I think so. He's given him more than he has for me. That's definitely enough to hold a place down for the future. Yeah. He's been better. Yeah, Aitniri's not. Aitniri's 24. No, but Aitniri hasn't played as much. Yeah, he's played eight games. Wait, so Aitniri's got 18 games for City. Kusenov's played 11 Premier League games a season. 20 and all comps. Yeah, so he's near enough the same amount of games. Kusenov's been out. Kusenov played 21 total games. Aitonu has played 18 total games. He's been buying his time with him, basically. No, but he's a January signing, so he's played more last year as well.

1:15:13Aitonu has started compared... Kusenov was in the team last year. He played six Premier League games last year. Yeah. That's more. This season. What? Talking about this season. but he's been here half a year later he's phased in due to injury from last season as well he's above Aiton Uri is he above Aiton Uri I don't know why you love Aiton Uri so much Aiton Uri's 5 at C then Kusin of B I think that's fair we could be here for a while by the way so we might yeah we're debating Kusin of Aiton Uri we went for a lot of time big ones to come well what do people what are you on about he's only played 7 times Aiton Uri this season no yes that's only in the Premier League Aiton Uri 14 in all comps what do we each vote because I'm sure B No, he's played 18 all comps.

1:15:54Nate Nuri. Mate, don't look at Wikipedia. It's stupid. He's played 18 all comps. He's played eight in the... Oh, they're colluding FIFA World Cup. The club World Cup. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, don't listen to Wikipedia. Wikipedia's stupid. B. I'd go B. Yeah, B's fine with me. I think if we're debating this long on fucking case, nominate Nuri, what would we say? Cherky. Hey. I think it's too early as well. He's shown glimpses. I know a lot. He's been a better sign than Kuznur. Do you not think that's enough to know that he would be good for the future? If he's this good? Yeah, I do like, I don't mind it.

1:16:28I do think he... He's definitely been a better signer than Kusin. He signed for, what is it? £34 million, people. Hey, 100. Yeah,£34 million for a player of his quality. I know he might not have shown his absolute best yet, but he's seen glimpses. I think we've done it wrong. I think Kusin should be in C and Cherky in B. Cherky should be in B. I'd go Cherky B, personally. I think he's been a better signer than Kusin. you can rank them within the tiers you put them just to the left but Cherky's been a better signing than Kusinop yeah you can put them to the left we'll do that at the end we'll do that at the end no you can just you can be in the same tier move them to the left I think Kusinop's been good I know I think he's good so we're going B plus B minus for both of them yeah I mean you can just well you may as well do it as we go along we'll yeah and move Cherky to the left I mean Edison 35 million is S in it yeah oh 100 % as much as I don't really like agree arguably one of their best signings ever Most clean sheets for City goalkeeper of all time, right?

1:17:24Is that true? Probably. Next up, Sarnier. 37 mil. Fuck, he's good as well. How much are they selling for? Yeah, that does come into it a little bit if they manage to recoup a bit of money. How many Premier Leagues did he win as well? I'd go high. And he's quite influential for all of them. He was sold for 54.8 million. Yeah, yeah. Ah. So he made a 17 mil. How many titles did he win, Will? A lot of fun. It's got to be at least four or five. I actually think we should move all these down. I think you're right. What, Ian Nuri and D? For now, yeah, just because he's not played. No, no, no, no, because you can have stinkers.

1:17:58There are a couple of stinkers, aren't there? No, not really. Yeah, there are. Calvin Phillips. Well, we'll get there. We'll get there. Yeah, he's right. He's right. He'll be just by himself. I think... Sarno had three Premier Leagues there, won two titles. It's an A, isn't it? A. It's an A because he was exceptional for them, but he's not one of their best players. A. Of all time Of this list Ake I'd go A He's been versatile He's been class He's also been He's paid everywhere Left back Centre half You can't have him On the same level As Shirky and Kusanov Ake's come in And been influential In winning things I'm outvoted anyways He was part of The treble winning team Started in the Champions League final Definitely A And Bernardo Silva People laughed At that signing as well Bernardo Silva Is S And he's like 43 million pounds for Monaco definitely yes do you put them ahead of Edison yes yeah I would anyway why Bernardo Silva just dependable like unbelievable servant to throw back to the Tenable question where was he in all time Manchester City appearances he's obviously third second right in all time Man City appearances when we did Tenable it was the one we couldn't get I think one thing that's really underrated about Bernardo Silva is all the massive away games in the Champions League where he's just been incredible.

1:19:21Also, he's an extremely versatile player. Yeah, he can play anywhere. He can play anywhere. That's why he gets forgotten, I think. He put my stars every game. Yeah. You know how you always say Pep Brouillette and FPL and that? Yeah, Bernardo Silva starts like every fucking game. He's just dependable, isn't he? Who's better? Bernardo or David? David. David Silva. Was it two, Will? Yeah, he's second. He was second, yeah. Above KDB. Right, S. Yeah. Bernardo S. Ilva. Does he go ahead of Edison? Yeah Yeah for me he does Oh this next one makes me sad 45 million quid for Calvin What's he doing these days?

1:19:54Sheffield United On loan? Yeah What? From City? Yeah Fuck off He's a bit aggressive No he's not Well yeah When did he go in January? When people tell you normal facts You just tell them to go away do you? I can't believe that He couldn't get a kick at West Ham could he? Yeah he's just God what the fuck's happened? What has happened? The decline from his career at Leeds, I don't know. He was in the England set up and everything. I forgot he was in the Eves. What actually happens with these players like this? How is it such a decline? He had a lot of injuries. Injuries? He had a lot of injuries.

1:20:28Confidence, injuries. Which happens, doesn't it? A lot of missed time as well, isn't it? Like, you just missed out on all the progress. Also, sometimes you can just kind of, things can just, like, fit, and you go on a run and do really well, and actually, that ain't your level. Also, how the hell is this bloke 30? What? Because he was born in... Is he? There's no way he's 30. What do you mean? Is that 30 old or what? It seems like he should be like 25, 26. Mate, I thought he still was. Calvin Phillips? I don't think he was 30. But we've been talking about him since... I thought you meant because you're his age.

1:20:56Yeah, I thought he was older than me, to be honest. I can't believe he's 30. That's mental. He's older than me. Do you think he looks back on that City move and regrets it, or does he still live the dream? No, he made a lot of money. You know what I mean? He's pretty good. Part of the Trevor Wooden squad as well. Yeah, but was he? He was there. He's like saying Carson was fucking part of that squad. He was, eh? He was a big part. He was there for the vibes. And the food. D for Calvin Phillips, sadly. Justin Ryn Viber. Food. Where would Calvin Phillips' transfer rank in the worst Premier League transfers of all time?

1:21:26Which was he? 45. 45. Oh, he won't be that. He can't be up with the worst. There's been a lot worse people than that, though. There's Anthony's out there. He just didn't fit, dude. Tidjad. Reindeers. Hodges C. Same as Aint Nuri. If you've asked me two games since the season, I'd have to say it. I expected more from Reindeers a bit. Oh, do you? Really? Yeah What have you got against Kusinov? Kusinov's been really good No I think Reinder's actually been a good signing He hasn't really shored it consistently enough He goes missing a bit He does I expected a lot more Also He's mainly a bench player Also he has been phased out of the team Yeah And Kusinov's been brought in To solidify people without injuries Yeah So if you get Someone's got a goal And he's also more expensive So Yeah But he still has plenty of time to come good I mean 7 goals 6 assists in all comps this season pretty decent isn't it it is pretty decent but I mean we're talking about in context at this part of the year he doesn't even get a look in ahead of there's a lot of other names that are going to go ahead remember it's like we've got to be a bit strict yeah okay seeing you in sign I guess yeah I think he's a better sign than Aitnuri but he should he'll be outvoted but then he's above him you're going to put him yeah above Aitnuri just for now yeah I think Aitnuri will end up being better John Stones is a good one S 47 million S yeah I mean actually maybe A just because of injuries yeah I was going to say like S is like the absolute creme de la creme you know what I mean so much football but not when they were winning the most Premier League games he's played in a season for Man City is 27 and that was the first year and how much how much money does that translate to into like modern day money 47.5 million 2016 is a lot of money how are we doing we're doing the list off impact right he's been so impactful I think he's I think that injuries is a fair point like you can't you can't see his S when he hasn't you haven't got John Stones has been classed with him yeah but so was Sané what no I know there's only like look at the tier of S though and the people coming up like we can't end up with 8 people in S like Diaz came in and had a bigger impact one player of the year he's one of the best midfielders of all time I know but it's not his own fault though but we got otherwise we're on voting A are we doing John Stones in the 6 or are we doing John Stones in the 5 right back to the best spot.

1:23:43What are we doing now? I mean, in the six, we know better than him. I'm voting top of A. I think it is. I agree. The inflation, it would work out to about 70 million pounds now. Yeah, because it was a lot back then, straight from it. Yeah. We talk about the way we used to consider this guy one of the best centre-backs in the world. Yeah? Yeah. Well, he just didn't get the game, but he didn't play all the time. Can't help it, can't he? I think he's been brought down because of consistency, hasn't he? Not necessarily because of talent. What do you vote? We voted a... A top of A is fine. I mean it's on the cusp anyway 10th season less than 200 Premier League games played yeah he should be in the top 10 all time appearance yeah the fact that when we said him and he wasn't there we were like right in the A list where does he rank we've got Sane above I think he's first in A yeah I think he might remain first in A where would you have these two yeah I agree with that yeah same as that oh no Ake above Sane yeah no no Sane above Ake yeah yeah yeah yeah Nico Gonzalez 50 million quid I really don't rate him so I'd go D but D fucking hell he's a world I personally think he's a tier below Reinders I don't think you can put them in the same Reinders is even better than you that's what I'm saying so I think Gonzales 50 million's a lot it is a hard money like D it was for him to be like the Roger replacement you just know he'll probably end up coming good but personally what I've seen of him I don't see it yeah you can't go on that the tier of them Top of D Top of D yeah ahead of Calvin Phillips Next up we've got Kyle Walker for 50 million from Spurs I mean is that not S?

1:25:17S is it S is it bottom of S though Nah I think better than Edison Really? Not Edison for what? He revolutionised that role Yeah You got him man Where does Walker rank in terms of Premier League right backs of all time? First or second First or second depends if you like Gary Neville over him That's why I'd say S I don't think Edison's ever considered to be the best goalkeeper You hate Edison I don't think that's a hateful thing to say Kyle Walker has been in the conversation of being the best right back the Premier League has ever seen and because of his career at Man City that's why people talk about it No one says Edison was the best goalkeeper in Premier League But everyone says about how he changed the role There's also been a lot more top goalkeepers than right backs I agree but that was my argument for why Kyle Walker should be high That is a fair point If you look at top right backs in the Prem history there are far less than the goalkeeper side of things.

1:26:09Like, he has less competition to be. It's already going well, he's one of the best right-backs ever here, but there's not that many. We have so many good keepers. Okay, I hear your point. Exactly. I still think he's been more... It's got to be Edison. He's changed the role. I'd put Edison ahead of him. He changed everything. He got them clicking. Okay, well... Next up, we've got Erling Haaland. Theo didn't even try and jump in there, so I mean... Theo, who do you have? Edison or Walker in second behind Walker? I have Walker in second. Yeah. So we're at a stale, mate. So you've got to decide, Will.

1:26:37I mean, he's literally been bought from Spurs and became arguably the best right back in Premier League history. I'd put Walker. I'd put Walker second, personally. Well, we're all bored. That's not even a gender. But I don't think I should have to decide and vote. Yeah, right. I said Edison could go with him. You would do site. I said Walker. Go with Walker, then. Haaland on a free from Dortmund. I mean, it's S, isn't it? Yeah, S. Top of S. Bloke has more goals than games appearances for Manchester City. How much money do you think he's worth now? 200 million 250 million pounds I don't think anyone I think you could pay 300 million for Harding He's actually priceless Yeah He's priceless Yeah genuinely They could say 400 million pounds Transfer market I have him 200 million now Nah it's more than Nah they wouldn't take That at all Question for the group Is he the best Man City signing ever Other than arguably Kevin De Bruyne It depends Like on paper As a player yeah But I always think Best sign is like When it's shrewd a business Like De Bruyne is like everyone wrote him off sort of thing.

1:27:38I think if you asked a City fan, they'd still put David Silva, Aguero, they'd put them abroad. Everyone knew Harlan would be the because they're the ones who came in and made them winning. What about if we did this in five years time? Obviously, it's projecting, but... Also, De Bruyne's not on this list. No, his last 25 signings I just put more value on the Kia Db1 because he was written off a lot and Harlan, everyone knew he was the man. You know what I mean? It's the 25 most expensive signings under Pep Guardiola. How much was De Bruyne? Kevin De Bruyne was. De Bruyne wasn't under Guardiola though.

1:28:07How much? I'm going to treat him like he was competing earlier. He was like 57, I think. He was 55 million pounds. And adjusted for inflation? In 2015. Yeah, I think, I honestly think, I'm not trying to speak for them, but I don't think anyone, doesn't matter what they do, would ever be put above the likes of Silva and Aguero for them. Just because of the moments? No, just for what they You put them in How they change them Or Alamo So you think People think We've rose-tinted glasses More on a period Where they're in the transition Of becoming the great Rather than Whoever just accelerates them To being even more great Yeah But also it's interesting When we forget that They're the pioneers Aren't they?

1:28:50In Verosil Like Trippier for example Yeah Trippier's Brunos Do you remember when Harlem was signed There was like Oh, can City play the striker They've not done it in ages And just fucking scored More goals in games They took a little while to adapt to them So we all agree not having them top loan Yeah No but Yeah okay I didn't didn't spend any time Well no because we're not we're out of those Oh yeah yeah Yeah Right next up Mendy 53 million C Yeah It's not B is it He was alright C That's a lot of money that Mateus Nunes 53 million quid My god Top of B I don't think he's in A yet Needs to do it for a bit longer What position was he?

1:29:33Centre mid Centre mid He was signed Was he a forward Or a defensive midfielder Both for box to box Yeah like 8-10 Man this guy They have some good players He's received the Jonathan treatment And now he's one of the best Right backs in the league How did he do it? How did Pep do it? Was it him? How did they both do it? It's because full back If you're a good centre half It translates well to full back But he was a centre mid Sorry centre mid I meant centre mid Walker wasn't playing Very well at the time You go from the hardest position on the pitch to arguably be easiest, isn't it? You need the engines for both positions.

1:30:01You're technically gifted in one. And you have the football and brilliant. And in a pep team where primarily you're either over-appling or you're in the middle and... Over-appling? Overlapping a lot. Over-appling. And in Burton, in a pep side, if you can do both, then you're actually going to be a success on you. Last week, Theo, we did our top three in every position. What would your top three right-backs be? Would Nunes be in there? It would go probably Rhys James Timber Nunes that's what I had can't be bored I had I think I might have Rive would have been the only one to have Timber in as number one oh yeah you didn't put Timber in did you?

1:30:38you didn't put Timber in you didn't put Timber in you didn't have Timber at all you did Munoz over Timber oh yeah Munoz over Timber yeah what? what? you actually believe that yeah I thought so yeah I thought so that means that you don't believe it anymore you don't believe that do you? I thought so I mean it's close Timber can have thought say Wallahi Wallahi my G aww that's right next that's mental Jeremy Doku 55.5 I think he's on the same same as same as Nunes I'd say yeah he's not a C is he Doku he's kooking now yeah I'd say top of B maybe I think Nunes is better above Nunes I think below Nunes oh I don't know I just because I know Doku you know talked about best wing in the league only a few months ago yeah yeah a little patch but He comes and he goes and we thought, oh, he's now being consistent.

1:31:27Is he actually being consistent? Weird point though. Not really. He's got A in though. Weird point. Yeah, it's just game time, isn't it? That's my point. Has he been injured? No. If he was consistent, then he would be playing constantly, wouldn't he? Career football and point. I concur. Right, cool. Moving on. Laporte, Emmerich Laporte, 57 million quid. A. Do you reckon A? Yeah. That's fucking... I'd have gone top of B. Oh, he's better than the four in that tier though, isn't he? If you have Aki in there... But what he did for you... Yeah, maybe. I'm up here though. You can't have him a tier below him.

1:31:54I feel like he was injured a lot. Is that just my brain lying on myself? I feel like that's the Mandela effect. I think he's got a good one. Yeah, put a bit of it. He's his Premier League appearances. 17-18 in San Injan. Nine games. 18-19-35. 19-20-15. 20-21-16. 21-22-33. I'm not mental. 22-23-12. So he was injured? He was injured a lot. I'm not mental. I can't remember. You're brilliant, mate. Yeah, I'm brilliant for work. The brain fog's cured, man. That seems very racked up 35. That means on the logic of John Stones, we can't have him in the same tier as Stones because... I said top of B, personally.

1:32:31I was going to say A, but I think B if he didn't fucking play. He was nowhere near as dependable as Ake. Also, he had a few moments where he got done for pace and that didn't he? Laporte, and that's when he's... I said change nationality. He's really good on the ball, though. I've obviously... I was going to say A, but I think less of French or Spanish. There you go. He was amazing on the ball though, Laporte, fucking Rolls Royce. Marmouche. 59, 60 million quid. B. I'm starting to... I think you put up down to C. I don't know. I'm not sure about him. I disagree. Every time he comes in... What?

1:33:06You can't have him a tier below Kussin. He's not shit. No, he shit himself. He did. He said that ball through and Anderson come out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But he's also scored well. He's been... Like a bottom of B. I'd say it's top of C. Mate I don't think he's clear Of Reindeers He's better than Kusinov I know As we're going through this Kusinov might need To drop down I told you It's hard to know Before you go through I don't know I like Kusinov Yeah I was just thinking More logically Of moving forward Like he's got a good If he's this good now He's got a lot of solid years Kusinov's like Same as Ait Nuri Let's be honest right Yeah No Oh come on Kusinov's going to be a start Of a Man City Ait Nuri ain't Yeah Aitnuri is there as a squad player Aitnuri's been signed as a squad player Kusenov's been bought to be their starting centre half I don't know if that's true 100 % he definitely is he's trusting him yeah because the A's ain't going to be there much longer what?

1:34:08but even what do you mean he'll be there for at least one or two more seasons yeah no but Kusenov will be there and he'll pick up he'll be able to learn from these top level centre backs but at the moment he's only in because of injury. Yeah, no, but like the plan for him will be to develop under these top level centre-backs and then he will be the future of that position. How many years in the future are we talking? I think he's got like well, it depends how he performs. Like if he keeps performing well they're not going to be too shy to keep him in the team. You know what I mean? A Kusinov-Gahey partnership would be something good to develop.

1:34:41If everyone's fit in a back line it's Stones-DVS and Gahey for three positions. Yeah, but they're probably looking at it. If we have Kusinov and Gahey that's a nice young centre-back partnership. Yeah, which fits the mould now because the other two ones that primarily take that starting spot are out. So do you think he's just there to be a squad player? No, I think they view him as... I think he'd be phased in 100%, but that's two or three years down the line. Yeah, but we agree. I don't think the plan for It Nui is never to be, you're going to be our starting man. That's never going to be the progression plan for it.

1:35:11I think he might have been bored of it until they had O 'Reilly come through the scene at the start of the season. Yeah, that could be fair. I don't think if he's a plan for O 'Reilly maybe getting as much game time as he was. If we fast forward from two years from now, I think I would be surprised seeing Kusin up there. I would be surprised seeing Ian Newry starting. Got injured as well. Right, Marmolition B then, anyways. I think he has to be, right? Joao Cancelo, 60 million. Aye. Aye, too. Good at football, then. Right back, left back. What's he doing now again? He's just Saudi, isn't he? Saudi.

1:35:39Saudi? Let me have a look. Whereabouts in A, where'd he go? Below the rest. The problem is he had a bad ending to a City career, didn't he? That's a shame, isn't it? He's on Lord at Barca. No. Al Hilal, yeah. Really? Oh, that's interesting. Yeah, he hit a fallout at the end, didn't he? He refused him to play. Yeah, there was a big guardiola, yeah. But he's A, isn't he? Cancelo. Riyad Mahrez, 60 million quid. Oh, S? Mahrez? I'd have him. Is he better than Stones? Yeah, I think you put him second in A. Yeah, I agree with that. I'll put him in Riyad Mahrez and S. I don't know, I feel like you need to...

1:36:18Marez? I know. Marez is S. Bottom of S. Definitely S. I'd have him second in here, personally. Fucking no chance. Some of the goals he scored in massive games, Mark, no chance. He's in S. If I voted him, I'll buy it. All competitions in five seasons, 236 games, 78 goals. The least he played was 44. The least goals he scored in all competitions was 12. You got 78 goals in five seasons. Yeah. The 21-22, he got 24. he just consistent there's not a world Morris ain't an S I agree Tom I just struggle putting him ahead of Stones yeah that's my issue he played as many games in five years as Stones has done in 11 yeah look at that look at that Morris by the way an A older will have a career like that in football it is a career tier still I mean like I don't hate S if he's going to do that he got over 20 GA every single season Yeah, and massive games, massive trophies.

1:37:18No, S, million percent. I'm fine with you. Whereabouts in S? Poor John Stornes. Ooh. Yeah, that's the issue I have. Yeah. I just don't, I think in terms of impact on the top. Is he below or above? I think he's under Walker, in between Walker and Edison. Yeah, I agree. For longevity, I'll put Edison. Yeah, I think he's got to be below Edison. I think I'll put Edison above him, yeah, just for longevity. We spent that time arguing about Walker and Edison. Anyways. I'd have me above Ederson personally but why Tom? I just think I think people are forgetting the massive massive moments as great as Ederson is and revolutionised the role and he did come in and solidify City defensively I can't other than the Champions League final which is a big one I can't off the top of my head think of massive moments where Ederson's won them games I think he's won them games from is that not the job of a goalie really though?

1:38:08well no do you know what I mean though? yeah they are going to help realistically with a goalie you only remember their clangers yeah no I know but with with Alisson you can think of many games or Donnarummi you can think of games where he's won them the game I'm not saying Edison hasn't done that I'd be confident if you went through the games you would find more like it's hard to think of it no because they don't when City were dominating at their pomp they never had shots on target so it's not even his fault yeah I was going to say it's like he's actually limited into how much he can impact the Morris came in and like replaced flying wingers like Sané for example come in and did even better than him and won even bigger trophies.

1:38:46I mean, let's face it, Edison Amaro's are basically the same, aren't they? Yeah, same player. Rodri, 62 mil. Ballon d 'Or winner. Yes. Yeah, he's into S. We're not a place in S coming. That's what I mean. I wanted to keep... In my mind, I feel like S should be a very premium spot. It's like a Rodri hater. Well, they've also just so happened to make really good signing. And win really. And we're talking about one of the best... This is one of the best teams of all time. I know, but that's why... Yeah, it's like, it is still an unbelievable tier to be in in terms of Manning City signings. He's got to go above Morris, though.

1:39:19And he's better than him. He's won the... Does he go above Walker? 79 games unbeaten. Oh, I don't want him head of Walker. Where's his eyebrows in that fur? He should shave him off as a fourth. Roger's got to go above Walker. You've got voted the best player in the world. We all know it's a facade. Why? So Forge didn't win that one Who should have won then? Can't remember Nice What about So who votes Above Walker Tom? I think he's above Walker Reeve? No not for me Luke? No I mean he did win A Valon d 'Or So I have to Above Walker It's a fucking Shitty magazine Is he not Just above Bernardo Silva then?

1:40:04Yeah probably You know what I mean I don't know about Harlan I think he's one Below Harlan then Fucking Rodri yeah what mate some of the that treble season mate some of the big goals and moments he literally scored the win in the Champions League final yeah I'm well aware of how good he's been I just don't think he's been better for Link City I'm his biggest hater and I put him in second he's been injured half his life now he had one big knee injury that stopped haughtering his career he's not the same player right Semenyo B for now I mean what a start yeah better than over Cherky you talk about how a lot of these players they've gone from a smaller side into a bigger club you talk about how much pressure you look like a Kirk as he's done a similar jump to Liverpool and an adaptation time as well he's just straight away it helps that he's joined when he's on a greater and a form his confidence is already sky high most people do though where do you think he'll end up as a Manchester City signing depends what he wins depends how dominant they're going to be A I think A I can see him being an A signing it depends what are we about to go witness a City Arsenal sort of domination over the next few years?

1:41:13Stop trying to put yourself in brackets so you don't belong. That's a perfectly reasonable thing to say. I don't want anything and thinks they're going to dominate nice. That's a bad point. Predicting a nomination. We're about to win the quarter. You don't like hypotheticals. No, it's not hypothetical. Right, should we do Ruben Dias? Yes. Ruben Dias. Yeah, definitely yes. 65 million quid, boys. I'll put him at the bottom of this. 128 million pound. Do you not think he's been... more influential than Edison? When they came in, they went from being a team that was really leaky to being the best defense in the league.

1:41:45You hate him, I know that part. What about everyone else that doesn't have an agenda? In terms of what, sorry? He's more influential than Edison, certainly in that period where City were leaky. I feel like we need to put some sort of respect on Edison at some point. All right. I think the answer's really overrated. I feel like we're in danger of moving Edison further and further down where he did change that rule and I think that deserves... It's rare that you're a player who changes overall. The entire point of Tom going, well, he didn't really, you know, they didn't have a lot of shots on target.

1:42:12That was the brilliance of Edison. The brilliance of Edison was there for like three years before him. Yeah, but you're talking about a period where Ruben Diaz came into City, that City weren't as solidified at the back, then came in, was basically a leader at the age of, what, 21? Yeah, he's been amazing. He has been an amazing signing, but I think... Yeah, but your counterpoint of it being like, oh, Edison... Edison was half the money. and also the brilliance of Edison he did actually he actually contributed even when there was no shots in his goal he actually did something else with his position he's not whipping in crosses but he's actually still contributing he doesn't really miss games either he's very solid I just think he's a bit of a donkey sometimes I don't know what I just do I knew it I bloody knew you are jealous the reason he thinks that is because he's a defence first kind of player and you hate those kind of footballers.

1:43:07I don't hate them. What about Vidic? Yeah, he reminds me of Vidic a lot. Yeah, exactly. I think he's probably a better player than Vidic. He's more silky. I agree with that. That's what I'm saying. I think Diaz is great. No, please don't get me wrong here. I think Diaz is really good. And he's been an excellent signing. I just think... He won Player of the Year as a centre-back for fuck's sake. So did Vidic. Scott Parker won it for a team that went down. That award is a bit of a fugazi, I'm not going to lie. Yeah, but... It's a bit of heat right now for no reason. Who? No, but I'm saying in a team that's been so dominant with the ball, a centre-back winning Player of the Year in that side probably deserves a bit more credit.

1:43:47I don't like judging off all the people's opinions because that's what that award is. It's like our opinion. You as a centre-back, you are a centre-back. Is that why you put my head in Mars? Back in my day. Yeah, I think in terms of influence for the club, I think he's, yeah. That makes me feel sick. Leave him at the bottom. Fuck him. Cavadio. I don't even want to play this game. Where is he? Is he injured or what? Bottom of A. How bad is injury? He was amazing last season when he was out of position. And scoring goals. Also, we're not forgetting that the centre-back partnership will probably be Gehi and Vardio.

1:44:21Yeah, arguably. Yeah, we forgot about that as well. But Diaz will still be there. Not really. Just play him on the left four, wouldn't he? Him and Kusinov. That even more says what I said was correct in the sense that Kusinov wouldn't even get in ahead of the three ahead. No, Vardio got left, I could sound. No, but Gehi wasn't. Gahey was an after four. Gahey was only signed because of the issues they've had this season and they thought, oh, we can get Gahey. But now he'll be, moving forward, he'll be one of the starters, I reckon. I'd still probably say it'll be Vardial and Diaz. No, he'll be Gahey.

1:44:50He is brilliant. Vardial is out, well, at risk of missing the rest of the season after fracturing his tibial. That's why they were going to sign Gahey. But if they're both, Vardial's better than Gahey. Well, yeah. And Diaz is better than Gahey. Did you think Vardial was a better centre-back than Gahey? but not going forward they'll sell Diaz he's 28 it's time to switch up send him to Mallorca he's literally in his prime nope I do agree with you though I think Diaz will be moved on he will be moved on he'll be a Gay-Hill and Vardial partnership with left back B8 Nuri or O 'Reilly right back B8 Nunez cheers mate we end on a 100 million pound player friend of the show Jackie Grealish aye yeah above Vardial 100 million's a lot of money Yeah but They win the treble Are you meant for above Cancelo or not?

1:45:40No Cancelo was more impactful I think when he played And that's what I've been using to sort my tier out So yeah that's fair What do you think his resale value is now? No he said The one to the left has been more impactful Therefore I can't put him ahead of him So I said yeah that's how I've been doing it To be fair we could put Vardil ahead of him No no no What do you think he sells for now? what money would they get for him? Grealish 40 mil what's Grealish worth now? 40 million? yeah 40-50 mil well can Everton even afford that? no I don't well I think he's ironing Aston Villa nah he'll stay how do you know that Tom?

1:46:19I don't know it I'm guessing it's a guess I think he loves it there doesn't have to move I'll take him got a newborn I think he'll stay come to Newcastle I don't think he'd want to go live in that shit so far away I mean, that's shit, man. I don't know them shit fans. Now, you see what you get for your money up there, mate? It's fucking good. Yeah, it's£3.20 a pint of minches. Just FYI. Yeah, but then you have to be around people from Newcastle. Yeah. I don't know what, you're not from there, so I don't know why you're taking a phone. I didn't see it. You're going, that's not very nice. Us? Not us?

1:46:51I didn't see anything. Right, should we conclude? So there we have it. Let us know in the comments if you agree with us. If you don't agree with us, tell us why. Don't just abuse us. I saw a comment the other day It was like I've never watched a show Where the viewers hate the host The hosts hate the viewers But we love the show I don't No and the hosts hate each other And the hosts hate each other Yeah that's what it is I just tried to add a bit of love Into that sense The only people I hate Are you lot and the people watching Yeah that's not a lot of people Everyone you know I hurt myself You only know us and the viewers Right Moving swiftly on To a Eleven That's right And this eleven Is Premier League players To have never Won the league That's also coincidentally The same amount of Allegedly Allegedly No it was nine Wasn't it It's allegedly We don't talk about it Now obviously Arsenal are currently Leading the title race So the current Arsenal team Could go into Well we've already won it Apparently right guys Yeah you have already won So none of them can go in Yeah we're not Let's use them No we could win our first Start in obviously 22 years And obviously the likes of Rice Saka Saliba Gabriel Could they make this team Let's find out Your old ma What?

1:48:00What did you say? Because I'm actually going to go first here. What a shock. Yes, I am going to go first here. Did anyone predict that on their pitch side bingo? He does it every week. Every week. The only time he didn't was last week. This is my Premier League XI to never have won. The Premier League. Go on, then. Go on, then. In goal, I got Mr. Appearance himself, Shea Given. I love the way he really builds it up. like we're so excited to hear crazy news I put you out of the way I put giving over a David Raya or a Pepe Renner just because of his longevity in the Premier League it's incredible fair enough absolutely each is it not I mean hey I'm not the one going now I'm not the one the one for you but does it not matter if like you're better than the other person rather than just playing for millions of years otherwise you put fucking Brad Friedland mate yeah good shout great shout fuck off I think he'd have been a better shot than Given.

1:48:57I think you're under-eshrying how good Shea Given was. I'm not. I remember Given, who's a very good goalkeeper. Really? Unbelievable. Was he not? No. Well, well, no. I think you've got to do it on ability. He made to Man City who they were. Why not Donnarumma? Well done. Oh, my God. That's a great shot. I didn't even think of Donnarumma. Neither did I, but I feel like... It's a bit boring. It is a bit boring. That would be technically allowed. Yeah, but it would be. You could have had Zlatan, and it's like... Yeah, I've counted that. Well, there's one player I've got in that you may say the same, but he did have three seasons in the practice.

1:49:29Let's hear it. I've gone for a 3-5-2, and I allow it. I've gone the same, absolutely. I've kind of gone similar. My formation is a mess. Yes, same here. Mine's a 4-3-3. I've got back three of Thiago Silva, Desaiye, and this was a close call between two players. You're only allowed to say one. I think I'm going to go Gabriel. Are we going to go? Do you think Thiago Silva's a bit... He was good, to be fair. He's fantastic. Tiago Silva, man. He was past it, though. No, he wasn't. He's still doing it now, man. That word prime Tiago Silva. Yeah, but even Tommy doesn't matter. He's still fucking Tiago Silva.

1:50:03Even non-prime Tiago Silva's better. He's still fucking Tiago Silva. He was still good. He was still good. It was unbelievable. So the other... It'd be interesting to have a little discourse on this, actually. In terms of Jamie Carragher, is he close to getting... What do we wait for the two people's teams? Okay, fine. All right. Well, Gabriel's in there. Now, my midfield five. I've got Bale on the right. I got a midfield three of Modric, Hullet, Gerrard and then Torres on the left. I can't believe you put Hullet in. Three seasons. He won the FA Cup. You didn't watch any minute of him though? He was like player coach, wasn't he?

1:50:36No, that was in his last season of playing player coach. He still fucking played in the Premier League. I reckon this is straight from a fucking article. There's no way you feel with Hullet being the best player to not win the Premier League. Do you even know what foot he is? Surely you know. I'm a fucking massive Rude Hullet fan. He's actually friend of the show You're a massive Rude Hullet fan What's your favourite I've actually done a video Yeah I've filmed him like Four times So Ooh Fucking hell Yeah Everyone knows How good Rude Hullet was Yeah In the 80s Yeah But you've got Surely you're picking People you think He had the same In that season In the Prem That fucking Luis Suarez did mate Yeah alright Yeah but we remember Watching Luis Suarez mate I was fucking Minus 8 When he was knocking around He had three seasons in the Prem Suarez had 3 didn't he Or did he have 4 that scored, Dal.

1:51:22Three seasons in the Prem, one FA Cup with Chelsea. Ah, I was one years old when Ruud Holler was knocking around for the Premier League. Oh my God. You win a game! Three seasons in the Prem. You win a game! He scored four goals in three seasons. It doesn't matter. Oh, one of the best players ever. He's played in the Prem and he is one of the best players ever. We've just, we literally said at the start, like players like Zlatan, like yeah, obviously Zlatan played in the Prem, but I'm not going to put him in because his time was past his best. Go ahead, Rick Larsen. You said that after I'd made my list.

1:51:53No, we didn't. We said it at the start. You made my team yesterday. No one agreed. If they're featured in the Premier League, then they're allowed in the team. End of. No, no. I agree with that. But when he was in the Prem, he wasn't like, it's not, when he was in the Prem, he wasn't at that level. Yeah, but he's still rude Hullet. Yeah, but. Like, he featured in the Prem. That's no, like, if you said, oh, who's your midfield? Mojic, Hullet, and Gerrard. I just have a horrendous feeling. They finished 11th. They finished 11th. It doesn't matter. It does matter He's still featured in the Premier League The best team To never win the Premier League He didn't even come close We're talking about these players That are in their prime Should have picked Esteban Camby No it's when they were in the league It's when they were in the league That's not a good shout though I think you're trying to nitpick it No I'm nitpicking Because there's no fucking way You've got that from your memory Right Well you don't think I know That Rude Hullet played for Chelsea You fucking stupid No but I don't believe That you've gone Right Best Best Yeah Rude Hullet Yeah, I can't get it.

1:52:48Bear in mind, bear in mind, he first joined as you were born. I think you're being really disrespectful and rude to me right now. Oh! I don't know about rude to me. I think you're getting defensive because I called you up for the truth. Theo. What the fuck are you wanting? I did not on a plane. Oh! With no signal. Right, okay, that's good. He said you were reading an article? Yeah, that's cringe. Theo, I think the Rude Olook thing might have passed. Did you put Fernando Torres on the left? Yeah. Discuss. Well, we've already agreed we're playing players. I don't want to sponsor this. I know, but I have tried.

1:53:17I have tried. Yeah, nice one Will Yeah, but Torres on the left He actually did a feature on the left a lot for Liverpool How many games did he play on the left? Yes, he did, he did play on the left a lot for Liverpool Can you check how many games he played on the left? Should I have it on transfer market? I don't care Torres played a lot on the left for Liverpool I don't think he did Yes, he did, you remember him off the left I don't remember him off the left I don't remember him off the left I don't remember him off the left You're googling Torres play on left transfer market Yeah, all sure is Or a winger That'll show his positions.

1:53:47There you go, see? No, yeah, so they're on his main position. It only has centre-forward, so... But you remember, but you're trying to... I honestly don't. I don't remember that. You don't remember Torres. No, no, if you think he is, I don't remember it. But why are we trying to make a big deal? Well, no, I would just say... I'm just fitting him in my fucking team, like half of you lot have done. We personally... Mine are all the correct positions. I don't personally remember it. He might have. I'll take your word. I don't personally remember it. I have a problem with Ruud Hullett, because he wasn't, like...

1:54:11I don't get the issue with it. Just because he wasn't in his prime at Chelsea, he still played in the Premier League. If I'm taking prime Ruud Hill, I'm fucking taking prime Ruud Hill. No, but it's not. He wasn't in the Premonence prime. He wasn't in the Premonence prime. We're talking about their time in the Prem. How did they not win it when they were at this level in the Prem? Ruud Hollett was retirement. Also, that goes against your Shea Given argument to go back to it. You said Given should be there because of appearances and Ruud Hollett should be there. No, but that's what's taken about how good Shea Given was.

1:54:38Shea Given was an excellent goalie. Yeah, I know, but there's been better keepers that have played in the Premier League that haven't won it him over them. But there's a reason he's got so many... Were you born when Rudolet was in the prep? Yes. 1996. I saw him in the first season. He actually was six months old. Lewis, that's like saying, do you know how good Pele was or Gazza? I wouldn't put Pele in there. Have you got Gazza in your team? No. So you've not got Gazza in but you've got Rudolet. Rudolet was better than Gazza. In the prems. How good was Pele? How do you know that? Fucking like, what are we trying to do nitpacking.

1:55:13There's something I'm doing with my team. Do you know what I mean? No, no, but the difference you're seeing, not getting is, we have a point. It's like saying we can never talk about players before we were born. I don't tend to. What the fuck are you on about? I think it's super defensive. All we're saying is, you've put players in. He played one player. He's not from memory though. What do you mean it's not from memory? I know he played in the Premier League. I don't get what your point is. Because he wasn't very good in the Premier League. He wasn't very good in the Premier League. Obviously, I don't remember watching him in the Premier League.

1:55:41I'm not arguing that he had one full season for Chelsea and they finished 11 ,000 like the best ever I hope they were in the Prem alright if we're doing that then fine he's not in it but I'm not doing that but that's the list but that's the list that's the list but you're acting like I don't think I knew who it played in the Premier League I didn't say that I didn't say that I didn't say that you didn't know who it played in the Premier League you know when I play you don't have a signal he said you're reading an article do you know that there's no way you from experience know how good he was in the Premier League I'm not saying I do I'm saying I knew he played in the Premier League so therefore he's in my team.

1:56:13He's calling you a dweeb as well. I don't get it. I don't really care anymore. Mate, I wouldn't take that. I disrespect. Go on. Okay, let me read it. Best 11 to never win the Prem. Oh, yeah. Hullet has played in the Prem so he's in my team. Fuck off. Not very good at the Prem. Left wing, I've got Torres on the front two, Suarez and Kane. I would be interested to see how many games he's actually started on the left. I think he might have played a few for a few. I don't remember, Eddie. All right, that was a good one. I don't remember Eddie. Why are you giving me the evil step. Gabriel's never played in a back three, so there you go.

1:56:39But he's played centre-back. It's a different position to a back three centre-back. Didn't know how to play it. Look at Man United, for example. All right. Yeah, you win, mate. Yeah, you got me there. All right. I've got Shea Given. After all that. I agree with you. He's biased. I respect his bias. I've got to have Shea Given in. Shea. Shea Given. He broke me out when he left and he made Man City who they are. You're welcome. Thiago Silva, Desailly. Also, is it Desailly? No one mentioned Desailly. I don't remember watching him in the Premier League but I know he was in the Premier League yeah but also his level do you know what I mean we know how good Dessay was do you know what I mean but his level's also higher in the Premier League like my argument as Hullet is it's fine if you go off reputation but in the Prem he was retirement so it's like he's not one of the best players to never win the Prem because when he was in the Prem he wasn't at a level where he should be winning but Dessay was good for Chal I had with Dessay because again he was passive but look he had six seasons he had a lot of good seasons there I'd put Ledley King in there yes in he goes we've got five in the midfield we're going to have Modric then we're going to have Gerrard Bruno Fernandes and Saka and Bale on the wings Bruno Fernandes Bruno Fernandes got to go in especially after what we were saying guys this episode and then Kane and Suarez so yeah I had to move people about but Modric sitting as well there's only one of mine that hasn't been mentioned actually do you know what I rate the Bruno Fernandes one oh yeah I don't mind and I hate him as well yeah in gold I've got Peperina I just think he's better than Shea given for other the time of the time of the last minute what about Raya oh he's getting on to you now maybe too early is it too early he's been in the Prem for like five years six years how's that too early who's that Raya how's that too early how's that too early he's won like two golden gloves how's that too early yeah you get no no Peppereinan run three I think so I mean he's about to win three might not he might already have three he wouldn't have had three at Brentford I don't think he's had three right back on Rhys James two centre backs of Thiago Silva I can't believe I forgot that I was thinking I can't even got a right back and I just didn't so I went three centre backs I completely forgot I can only think of centre halves but he's got left back is he definitely was he oh no he won one hit fuck yeah that's a left back I've got Leighton Baines yeah that's I only have Leighton Baines and then like no right back so I changed it at midfield three I've got Alonso Gerrard and Modric and then a front three of Bell, Kane and Suarez oh that's so annoying I've got three games Either or, mate Put Bale in the 10 If he wants to do that Are you playing Suarez On the left wing?

1:59:08No, two strikers Your left back's Let you down In terms of I know what you're trying to do But Suarez could Play on the left wing A lot better So good fucking Torres No, he couldn't Torres was an out and out nine I literally never remember Him playing once Starting on the left In the pre-term Maybe I don't have the best memory But I genuinely Don't think it's ever happened Also You had him left Of a five So you had him left wing back Left wing It was like a 4-2-2-2. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, there's one that you lot ain't mentioned then, which I'm not surprised because my formation is a mess.

1:59:43I'm going to just tell you. No, no, it's only because... Basically, my front four can do what they want. Are you... Ha, ha, ha, giggle, giggle. No, no, no. That's a good rule. Then you can't have a go at me then. That's a good rule. It's a 3-3-2-2. What the fuck are you doing? How dare you? How fucking dare you? You hypocritical prick. Your team is just picking. You may as well have just done a top 11 best players not win rather than a team. Because when we feel free, we can sit. Yeah, that's true, actually. That's all he's done. He's like, I'll just go where. I've just got no width. That's Puer.

2:00:18Yeah, no, but that's how it's hard to make a team. You are the biggest hypocrite I've ever met in my life. That's fine. Pepe Reina. I've gone Carragher. Ledley King and Gabriel. I don't think Carragher deserves to be in there. He was part of some of the best defences we've ever seen in the Premier League. He was pretty good. What about Thiago Silva, though? Why doesn't Carragher deserve it? I feel like there's better stuff. I think there was a period where Liverpool were so good. Like Pep Arena, all the golden gloves. He was the mainstay of that team. Played centre-half right back. There's a reason he played so many games.

2:00:49Yeah, Carragher was. Defensively, he was so good. Thiago Silva, I do concede he's a good shout. I just think we didn't have him at his best. I think it's a valid argument. to say when when Carragher was at his absolute peak in like 07-ish that's a valid argument to say he was better than when Thiago Silva was in the Prem Thiago Silva at his peak was definitely better than Carragher I'm not arguing that but he was at the end of his career I don't think Thiago Silva had like he was old but he hadn't fell off by any means of Chelsea and we're not misremembering how good he was he was old he was not forgetting how many stinkers he had for Chelsea's first game yeah but Carragher has had plenty stinkers am I right in I'm saying Desailly was signed off the back of the World Cup win.

2:01:31Possibly. So in his prime. Carragher has got the ninth most Premier League appearances as well. So he's played a lot of games. Then Desailly is off the back of a World Cup win signed for Chelsea in his prime. Is he better in his prime playing for Chelsea than Carragher was? Possibly. I don't remember. I wasn't. I was two. Clearly don't watch ball. I don't remember Desailly. I wasn't born. I know he was decent for Chelsea. Wait, hang on a minute. Wait, hang on a second. Earlier, you literally said you did remember. I remember him playing for Chelsea. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't remember watching him other than like the last season that's my exact other than the last season that's why I haven't put him in that's my exact point Desailly was you put a player in who signed for Chelsea before you were born he's saying I don't even remember him playing for Chelsea which is ridiculous you can't remember Ruud Hollett playing for Chelsea you want to lie are you serious that's exactly what Tom's just said about Desailly I remember me personally are you mental Desailly stopped playing when he was at least 8 or 9 I watched Desailly for like one season that's it he's finished in 2004 at Chelsea mate Come on, mate.

2:02:28If you started watching football at the age of what? I'm never saying that, but I remember he played for Chelsea. I know you know that, but he knows physically watching this at Chelsea. What's the fucking mental tennis you're playing? What's the bot over there? Me? I'm playing mental tennis. Yeah. You're pulling him up for the same time. You're going on a fucking article on the plane when I got no signal. Cringe. Right. Because you, okay, we'll just, he said she said, mate. I'll get Wi-Fi on a city fly, you fucking idiot. Oh, my midfield freeze, Modric, Gerrard. I have gone Declan Rice. I think he's amazing.

2:03:03I'm a friend of the show. Yes, yeah. I've gone with front four of Zola, Suarez, Kane and Bale. I mean, it's a good top 11 players from Tom and the rest of us did a team. So, good. Yeah. I mean, you haven't done the thing. Why? You're just a top 11 players. You're just slapped all the best players. There we go. Why can that not work? All right, I'll play Gerald on the right, Bale on the left, and then a front three of Zola Suarez. When did Zola sign for Chelsea? 96, 97? I didn't include people that I don't have too much of an opinion on. You caught the back end of his Chelsea crud. Yeah, he was unreal.

2:03:40A player that none of you have got in, Mesut Ozil. Nah. He was great. I was not better than Gerald Rodgers from Alonso. That's the question. Zola Suarez came, Bale. Where are they all paying? I can play Gerard on the right Bale on the left and then Zola Notoriously Gerard on the right never worked especially for England Didn't play on the right for England He played on the right for Liverpool Famously Torres on the left did didn't it Yeah Left wing back Gerard played on the right for England That's how you remember the whole thing was like how the hell do you fit them all in Was that not Skolls on the left And Skolls on the right as well No Skolls on the left Gerard played on the right for England Beckham played on the right I don't think it was Gerard Lampard in the middle wasn't it Gerard Lampard in the middle and either Joe Coles or Scholes on the left.

2:04:27Gerard hasn't played. Gerard played on the right for Liverpool.

2:04:33And Torres didn't play on the left ever Can we search if Gerrard played on the right for England, please? I don't remember that happening. He might have done. I think he did, but not very often. Yeah. Thank you. We all have said What's that got to do with him in the Premier League playing on the right? I find it quite funny that you... He played on the right a lot for the right. You had a go at me for moving Torres out of position to your whole team. Torres has never played left with England. And the irony is that your whole team is out of position. Frequently, actually. Why are they? Yes, David Gerrard frequently played on the right side of the midfield for England.

2:05:05That's not the question. What has this got to do with the Premier League? You said that to another. He's never played on the right for England. And he just had. He didn't play on the right for England. Well, he fucking has met you. He might have played a few games. And now you're mental gymnastics. You can never be wrong. You've now said. For Liverpool. He played like a whole. That was in the shit period of England. So actually, it doesn't count. For Liverpool. He played like a whole season. You're moving the goalpost because you're wrong. Hang on. By the way, this backs up my argument. Putting him on the right.

2:05:30This is a separate argument. You said he was wrong. You should apologise. You should apologise. You said that he didn't do it for England ever Admit that you were wrong He didn't Well you're wrong You're wrong No no that wasn't your argument You said he never played in the Rock of England He actually said He actually said that it didn't work as well So he didn't play but it was good I said it was bad Theo's actually schooled you mate Yeah you've schooled me Well done You know you can I've just said you've schooled me Well done Take the win Yeah but the way you're saying it's crazy You're an absolute football fanatic Honestly it's two people that are putting so many players out of position arguing What the fuck are we doing When he's wrong he's trying to disrespect you Yeah so who is the who are the top three pleased to ever win the Premier League Gerrard yeah Gerrard Kane I'd say Modric Modric yeah he was fucking class maybe Bale no you could Bale in the Premier over Modric yeah Kian which is weird to say two Spurs players but hey fuck it yeah but that was always Spurs though wasn't it yeah true Hollett would you not have Suarez in there no Suarez yeah Suarez is definitely a shout.

2:06:32Torres? I think Kane just out. If you're picking a strike, I think Kane... If we're doing it on Prem, yeah. I feel like when you pick the team as well, there's an element of how long you played in the Prem without losing it. Like, you could put Cole Palmer in, but he hasn't played in... I feel like if you played there for like seven years and you never won it and you were still at that high level, you deserve to be in this team more. Yeah. That's why Gerrard is top. That's why Gerrard is in the way for the first name. He never stopped. Yeah, Palmer might have one. He might have one. Was he not part of the City?

2:06:59I didn't consider it but I didn't I was thinking I didn't consider that I was thinking I might have actually won one because that was before the Liverpool season I feel like there's a picture of him but he must have played like once yeah but that doesn't that qualify he got a medal he got a medal in 23 then we all remember he got a medal in the treble side yeah he was a member of the treble winning side he played 14 league games so he was good to get some medal how many did he play 14 he played 14 I don't fucking remember that at all he would have been off the last minute yeah were you about to put him in the team no he was never in it was more an example of like, I don't think you should have like a Raya ring because he's not been at it as long as some of the other players.

2:07:35I can't believe you didn't put George Raya in. That's why it didn't go. Don't take that. He won a Ballon d 'Or though and then he comes to the prim. Cringing him out. You're cringing me out. Just saying. You should apologise. What about Bobby Fowler? Yeah, and Owen. Yeah. Or did Owen win it? Owen won it. Harold won it. Would you say Owen and Fowler, sorry, would you say Fowler was better than Kane or Suarez? No, That's why you can't put him in. You could maybe argue Fowler above Suarez. Because of the longevity. His goal record's amazing as well. Yeah, but then also, like, football, isn't it? Do you know what I mean?

2:08:11Yeah, I know what you mean. Football. Robbie Fowler was incredible, mate. No, I know, but Suarez. Football. I mean, I struggle to remember Fowler a little bit. He was a bagsman. His goal record, that's fucking stupid. And then he got fat at City, didn't he? ninth in the all-time Premier League goals 163 he's called God for a reason mate but what and then he went to Leeds where they live the dream but Suarez's goal to game ratio is mental as well right yeah yeah I think it's fair to have Suarez 70 goals also the type of goal Suarez scored is ridiculous so who has the best team from worst out of us I think mine's the worst I don't think yours is better than mine but hey I'm not yeah I've got a second behind you because you had Rhys James I had actual left and right I think it was whacked in three I think it was Reeve me Theo then Tom had a good top 11 mine's a forward thinking formation you guys are just making a team you guys are small minded you guys are small minded I've actually got great balance in my midfield yeah Hullard's got a Torres on the Torres on the pulling the strings with his wheelchair balance in my midfield also a shout out at centre half Hippia yeah Gabriel better than him Saliba hold that yeah Saliba was a good I didn't A few of the names that are highlighted Letizia Gianola David Gianola Oh yeah Brendan Strow Les Ferdinand's also up there He's got a lot of goals Oh Les Ferdinand's a good shout It's just them strikers are just too fucking beast mode Why did you have Hullet instead of Vialli when they're in the same squad?

2:09:52I don't know who Vialli is Don't know who Vialli is He's trying to mug you. Yeah, he's actually he's trying to mug you for me on the camera. He's trying to mug you. Of course he remembers he's got fucking 45. Oh. Same age as me. Bit of a nibble. Right then. Guys, if you enjoyed that segment, let us know. Let us know your favourite memory, Rude, or in the Premier League. Because there's no football this weekend in terms of Prem, we've got another game coming this week, so stay tuned for that one. It should be a fun one. Also wearing cool Chelsea shirts. No. Oh, is that Harry reminded you. Oh, he does the shirt, didn't he?

2:10:31Wait, did he even play in that final? 98? He won them the game. Did he? Yeah, he was an influential in that match. Isn't that when Di Matteo scored the really early goal against Borough? I'm sure that was that game. You started to get worried now. Have we not wrapped up and now we're just carrying... No, he's 98. 98. 98. Oh, please. This could be brilliant. This could be brilliant. Of course he played. Night years. 1997. Oh, seven. 97. 2-0. Yeah, it was the Di Matteo goal, wasn't it? See? Didn't even start. He's not on the pitch. But he got on the pitch. He was the manager. He was the manager.

2:11:10Told you. See you, everyone. So good. He was so influential. Oh, my God. Are you telling me the manager's same on? I'm confused. Does the manager not influence the game? How have you done this? How have you done this? I can't believe it. He did it all off memory. Does the manager not influence the game? It was off memory. He was actually really influential in that game. Well, yeah, he played 90 minutes as manager. Oh, mate. Have some shame. Say sorry to the audience. When he was influential. I see the worry in his face as he was searching it. I was like, where would he be? He was influential. What's he?

2:11:52He's a manager. That's quite influential. Oh, OK. Well done, mate. I'd say it's the most influential player on the whole pitch. The manager's the most influential player? Nice. Choose the tuning, guys. Another all-timer.
