In short
Newcastle’s transfer drama around striker Viktor Gyökeres? (discussed as “Isak” and “Sesko”); heated debate over whether Newcastle will sign Benjamin Sesko, how Liverpool and Manchester United fit in, and whether Newcastle should punish/bench Alexander Isak after contract/transfer talk. Also covers Son Heung-min’s move to LAFC and a “best duos ever” ranking across football history, plus predicting Premier League Team of the Season.
Guests (hosts)
Reev, Theo Baker, Tom Garratt. They are football fans/pundit-style hosts with strong Newcastle/Liverpool/PL focus; they argue about transfers and rankings throughout.
Key claims
- Newcastle expect to sign Sesko soon; Leipzig won’t lower their offer and Man United can’t pay the full fee upfront.
- Liverpool are “following” the same targets and may only bid if Isak is sold.
- Isak has returned to training and should start; “strike”/contract precedent is debated.
- Son’s LAFC fee is framed as around £20m, potentially the MLS record; commercial value is a major factor.
Notable examples
- “Pitch” story: Newcastle fans claim they sold Sesko with St James’ Park/vision and even local-life jokes (bridges, Greggs).
- Duo rankings include Kane & Son, Xavi & Iniesta, Messi & Suarez, Rooney & Ronaldo; debate over whether Lampard & Drogba or Terry & Carvalho count as “duos.”

I've got something better to show you. Don't do that. Look at my tan guys! Wow! He's been on the summer. Welcome back! He's been on the holidays. I found out Reeve hits the bed. I hit the bed before Tomorrowland, yeah. Congratulations to Pipside, because we're all wearing football kits!
0:42Reev:Like 30 year old nails! Oh wait, Rory Jennings would be ashamed of us all. We're not going to the game in them though. Also what the hell is that? He just flicked my hat. What the hell is that? Right, but let's do that to you. Oh! You got baby fluff! Welcome back, Tom. You haven't missed much. Yeah. No, nothing's happened. Apologise. What? Nothing's happened. I don't know. Apologise. No, he shouldn't apologise, actually, because Ezek's back in training. Good little boy. Yeah, it's a good boy he is. And how's the hell he had told him off? Good boy. Will you now just respect me and never talk back to me again?
1:15What are we referring to? You know what I'm talking about. What did you actually say?
1:20Reev:You're right. He's not leaving. No, I don't like it. He's trying to force a move because he doesn't have a back. No, shit. I'm in the middle of nowhere. What you don't understand is that they rejected the bid. Tom then said if they come in with 150, but they're not. No, they're not. It's not his main target. He's actually going to stay. For people listening on audio. I think we're all mistaken anyways. He isn't trying to leave. He's exploring his options. You are deluded. That is cool. Secondly. He hated him last week. Bring up Morgan Gibbs-White. Morgan Gibbs-White. He hated him last week. Also, the Morgan Gibbs-White thing is illegal.
1:55It's fucking illegal. No, what I was going to say to you is, I forgot. It wasn't weird for you.
2:04Reev:Guys, a long story short in this EZAC drama. Oh, I've remembered, I've remembered. What I don't get is, right, your owners own Al Halal, right? Is that true? No. PIF, they do. I don't believe so. Anyway, the club... No, we're not multi-clubs. Thank you, yes. The club who are trying to sign Nunes own you. So they're funding Liverpool to sign EZAC. What the fuck are they doing? you're saying they should try and cooperate can we google it basically Liverpool are probably only going to they're probably only going to up their bid for Izak if they sell Nunes for like 70 million which your owners are offering them number one football that is how multi clubs that is how multi clubs should work it shouldn't be we're working as a joint team so if anything you're putting us down for playing by the rules Yes, you are.
2:54He is. Oh, bootlicker. Anyway, they are twats. All right. Actually, are you ruining your club? I genuinely think we've handled this situation very well. We? Who's we? We. Me and the club. You've had a mental breakdown while I've been away by that. I've actually felt sorry for that. No.
3:14Reev:Let me give you boys a quick rundown of the actual how the song is continuing here. Can I just quickly ask, have you signed anyone yet? No. No, we've got a longer. No, no, no. Other than the person that we know about. No, no. You're Ramsdale. Good signing. I don't think Ramsdale's a bad signing. Since last week, we got Ramsdale, which I'm buzzing about, a Langer. Buzzing. Sesco is, as I've recorded this, which is Tuesday morning, we are going to get Sesco. He's shit. We are going to get Sesco. I wouldn't go, don't say that. Trust me, guys. In a 442, right? When they were in with Sesco, we all said he was shit.
3:44And then we go in for Gehe for 40 million. Very good signing. You ain't signing Gehe, mate. We're going back in for Gehe, 40 mil, we are. 40 mil for 30 less than. Yeah, he has one year left. That's a really good deal for them. One year left.
3:58Reev:Yeah, I thought Liverpool are after him. In which case, I mean, it means you're not getting him. That is the one thing. Fucking of course they are. They're just following us around. They were before. They were before. We spoke about this like weeks ago. We were interested first. It's not how rivalry with Liverpool now. They're just doing me, Eddard. How worried are you on a scale of 1-10? I'm actually not. Genuinely, like, all jokes aside, I hope he goes... We're not joking. He's act. Oh, you're going to be good business? I'll get Cesc Gore and sell him 450. but the thing that I thought you're not getting 150 million for Isak the one thing that annoys me is and I don't agree with Wissar doing this to try and get to us all this strike bullshit is ridiculous you signed a fucking contract but Lewis the problem you've got is that Sesco is actually wanting to go to the other United Man United again this is this is incorrect oh I've been following this everywhere yeah a bit like Isak wasn't going to push a move or he doesn't want to leave so Sesco automatically wanted to go to Man United he heard Newcastle's pit sorry have you spoke to him have you where did you get this from Also Keith Dalney.
4:52You can't keep bringing up the sidewall. Luke Ed Wood. By the way, Keith Dalney still Park Aldridge.
4:58Reev:Isn't it kind of mad that like Newcastle in the Champions League and he wants to go to a team that is not in any European football? Because it's 6 ,000 miles away from any decent city. And also it's Man United. Let me finish. We give him a really good pitch. Apparently he's very impressed. What's the pitch? I wasn't there. We obviously don't know much about the situation. Neither does he. No, no, no. I want to know word for word what the pitch was. I thought, look lads. Fruin-Hulman! This is the thing. No, let's just tell it. You do it. We don't know, so just tell us what the pitch was. What was the pitch?
5:31He knows what the pitch was. So what was the pitch? I hope you'll finish the pitch before you go. I'm Sesko. Where's he from? Where's he from? Slovenia. Slovenia, right? Yeah. I maybe want to come to your club. Hello, Sesko. Lovely way to come by. Would be Benjamin, wouldn't it? You wouldn't say fucking hello, Bowdoin. Excuse me, Mr. Agent. Can you, why you used to wear? Why is the Nielsen McDonald's 4 ,000 miles away? Listen, listen, we have loads of bridges, we have Greggs, and also we have a football club. That is not the pitch what they would have said. A bridge is... We've got a full... We've got loads of Greggs got a bridge you can look at.
6:02A bridge. So like the stuff I'm saying, like it is, the stuff you can laugh at me about live, but like genuinely, the people I listen to... You know nothing about... You haven't been right about anything this time. The people I listen to, which are our local correspondents who have been following the club for years and genuinely are insiders in Newcastle. I can't tell what man you are, but inside Newcastle he was apparently impressed by the pitch he was swaying towards Man United St James' Park pitch for the pitch that we give him about the vision about the trajectory that is lovely glass my friend yeah and then apparently he was swayed by that but the reason we're going to get him is because the package that we put together Man United can't afford to pay all of in bulk like we are I like SIGs are saying do you not get bored just sparting shit and being wrong this is the thing you are on a generational incorrect right now We transfer, you said.
6:49Don't get me for help. But no, because you can shout at me about stuff, but I'm literally, I'm right here. What you said is right. No, you can't keep saying you're right. This is based, you can search it up now. Go to fucking Ornstein and he'll show you.
7:02Reev:Can you afford Seska if you don't sell Isaac? Yeah. No, yeah, genuinely. We don't have to sell. Are you saying you don't have to sell, Gabby? We don't have to actually sell Isaac. I'd love to leave him on the bench. Odds on an article coming through saying Seska is going to Manchester United at 6 p.m tonight. This is the thing, no, genuinely. like bookies odds from where he's going it's even money Man United five to six Newcastle so they can't really split it genuinely the reason I think he's going to Newcastle I think if he had an absolute I think if he had an absolute choice transfer fees out of the way he'd probably score Man United but that doesn't mean he doesn't want to sign for Newcastle does he not want to sign for Champions League football that doesn't mean he doesn't want to sign for Newcastle I don't know but the reason we'll get him is Man United can't afford to pay the money up front we're paying it up front and Man United can't do that and Leipzig have said they won't lower their offer.
7:49So they've said to Sesko, we're not going to take a worse offer from Man United. So if they can't match us, then they're not going to get it. Right, but my point with that is, with Sesko, is he not looking at Newcastle going, if Isaac's not leaving, I don't start. Exactly. I think, everyone's saying that it's now accepted from Bo Pais, he should just go. So it's like, that's why we're going so hard for Sesko. Probably he's overpaying a bit. I mean,
8:15Reev:Liverpool are touring with you. They're not paying the full amount. They paid 100. They offered 110. You said no. No, this is the fucking book. I'll say to Tom. If you reject like 120 million. No, we didn't reject 120. You don't reject 110? No, no. But this is the thing I was saying to Tom. They were talking to us and it's like they're emailing. Yeah, yeah, we'll do 120 million. Email. 120 million. Yeah, yeah. We're going to bid that. They send in 110 million. And then when we say no really quickly, they go to EZAC's agents and like, well, they said no too quick. So we're not bidding again. You said 120?
8:45I know you took 10 million That's how negotiations work
8:49Reev:They're fucking nuts I'm not even sure Liverpool need him At the minute It's in their front four Yeah It's crazy It's fucking mad I'd love for them Just to leave him stuck with us And then having to crawl his way back Yeah but he'll just sulk And then go for cheaper In Jan or Nick Should we all take guesses Where both Izak ends up And Cesco ends up Yeah Izak, Liverpool, Cesco United I think that could be very likely DCL at Newcastle I now think Sesco will get to United and Isak will stay I'm not actually I'm curious why do you think he goes to Man United in the year because I don't think Liverpool are that bothered that bothered I think they want Isak but they're not like taking it on Isak but also it's kind of Newcastle yeah it's kind of magic a£110 million bid if they're not that bothered I think they're testing the war I think they'll go Liverpool I think they'll go Liverpool and you'll probably get Sesco I'm completely guessing I have no basis There's no scenario where Sesco goes There's no scenario where Sesco goes Man United and Izak leaves because we're not selling Izak before we get the top tier sort of replacement I just think Sesco will possibly look at that United team and think I can fix it up front What do you think about Sesco?
10:02Because like Shit When we were linked
10:05Reev:with him a little while ago you said specifically I don't think he's the fix for Arsenal In Euros he weren't great but also he's in a I'm not a big fan of him to be honest I haven't seen him I genuinely like I think Jokic is better than him oh yeah yeah I'd definitely take it's an interesting one because all the big teams have been all the big teams have been like sniffing around them for a while so it's but he's a big hulking man he's strong fast what are you all about are we still on Newcastle are we going to keep these kind of adjectives when he chooses Manchester United over Newcastle do you want to bet on this I said I think he'll join you and I think I think it's done deals and so you've said it's done he's at Newcastle he's at Stade Sesco United he's at Liverpool Sesco to Newcastle you're saying we get Sesco we string along Liverpool a bit and then sell him he's at to them do you agree with me just make him suffer a bit because there's some bad blood there now they don't like how he operated I think we make him miss a couple weeks if Sesco goes United will he fall into the Hoyland curse this is the one the Hoyland's scored a goal in pre-season mate he's cooking The amount of Man United fans Now they're realising They're probably not getting Sesco Like tweeting out It's overpaying Oh it's ridiculous fee I'm like I don't know how they dare They spent 85 million on Anthony How dare they And 72 million in Hoyland How dare they The reason the price Is so inflated Is because teams like Man United Have overplayed For worse players They've overplayed They've overpaid for worse players So that's why the fees Are ridiculous Yeah the market's just But it's like How can they How can they spend All that How can you out Because they make so much Fucking money mate Yeah They can moan about it.
11:43What? No, they can't say, oh, you're paying a ridiculous fee. Yeah, because of you. Yeah, but all of football just moans anyway. Weren't you the one celebrating about making Liverpool pay more for Eketiko?
11:55Reev:I didn't get him anyway. And overpaying. You're true. I actually paid less than what you beat. Air D chess. Air D chess. That's going on, Buffalo. We're on to 90 now. Didn't Liverpool beat Atleti Club like twice yesterday? I don't know. They played them twice and beat them twice. What? They played them twice yesterday. Yeah, they played them twice. With different teams. Did they really? Different start and 11s. What the fuck? 4-1 and 3-2. Yeah, Rio. Yeah, the 16-year-old. He's the one we saw at the F50 event with Max Dalman. Really? Yeah, remember the... How do you remember that? Because they told us about him.
12:29Reev:He said these guys are the new upcoming stars, aren't they? And it was Rio, Max Dalman. Rio! What, so they were right? Yeah, they called it. They literally called it. Adidas, you think Adidas called it? Yeah, yeah. Fair point to Adidas, by the way. Yeah They don't even Fucking need Ezer What was their second line up Because their first line up Mamma Vashti Van Dyke didn't play Wait Who was that Mamma Vashti You don't know Mamma Vashti Okay Well how do you say it Well the first The how you said it The first time And then you got it Mamma Vashti No the way around Mamma Vashti Dilly ding Dilly dang Simic I like the goalie's name Freddie Woodman Okay Right We spoke about him didn't we?
13:11Reev:Yeah, good times, man. Yeah, fucking hell. It's been a good transfer window, though. They've got Guretska. Guretska. No, but seriously. What? What? Theo doesn't have to say. So does that mean Harvey Elliott? Because it's not on me. It's not on me.
13:28Nothing to reference. You're just going to start reading the teams out. For people that don't know what just happened,
13:34Reev:the notes aren't on the screen, so Theo has nothing to work from. Shut down. No, but seriously, that's classmate. Isaac has returned to Newcastle.
13:49Reev:He needs to go down a bit. Oh, we have a laugh, mate. I'm joking. Oh, yes! My favourite part of the show. Has he actually come back to training then? Yeah, he's actually come back. He's training at Sussi Den for a bit. Before we move on, what do you think of what Hal said about him? I don't know what he's going to say. He's only going to come out and go, I can see his point. He said he needs to work his way back into the team. No one deserves a start. Which is just bullshit. He's the only striker they have. I think, no. He's saying he's the right. Who plays up front? Who plays number nine instead of him?
14:18Oh God. No, genuinely. Of course, I think that genuinely, if you pay Isak. You're just ruining your team for the sake of it. Mate, I promise you. Because if you let Isak get away without any repercussion, what's to stop any other big player coming thinking I could just force a move out of here without repercussion? And if it doesn't work out, I'll play anyways. Can I ask you a genuine repercussion? Genuinely, I'd rather lose the game and not play Isak. Shut up right up. No, no, for the precedent that it sets. because by the way Anthony Gordon is more than capable we played him there against Spurs and he played really well in that position so it's like we're not fucked without him can I ask you like a genuine question do you not get bored of like playing these mental gymnastics or are you mentally unwell I don't I don't what I've said tell me one thing that's a genuine question tell me one thing that I just said there that doesn't make sense talking bollocks about if he's actually available mate he starts for Newcastle you said he won't start on in the weekend if he's a Newcastle player he starts for Newcastle He won't start on the weekend.
15:10You just said. He won't start. You just said. If he's a Newcastle player, how much do I bet? £10. Oh, fuck. You're confident then. I think he'll start Gordon. If he's not trading with the team, he won.
15:19Reev:If Ezek doesn't start first game of the season, like you just said. We're not adding another four-fifth. We've got four already. But if he does start, you get Ezek in your head. No. And if he does, you get Ezek in your beard. I've only agreed to four-fifths. If he uses to play, pin him to the Angel of the North. What? Anyways, moving on to the Evergreen Topic 2. Before we move on, I've got a question for you because I did miss last week's, which I really, really wanted to be there, just to laugh at you and just really enjoy your pain because it fills me with joy. I want you to give a plea to the camera for Sesco to join, but be dead serious and maybe twitch your legs.
15:59And it has to be different to the official pitch that you said. Oh, the official pitch that I... Okay.
16:04Reev:Lick your lips while you do it. I don't need a beg. Hello, Benjamin. You probably already know about me because you've researched the club. I'm the CEO, fan base, supporter. What? Does it make sense? Literally, no. Excuse me. I'm making a pitch to Benjamin. Sorry, carry on. Sorry about him. Benji, we have lots of bridges. You're going to love a sausage roll and call me pasty. And I tell you what, the best fan base in the country. Maybe not appreciated by a certain player who's trying to leave. You know, he got a whole stand of TIFO. your pitch for sesco can't be every football every single football that is crazy we'll give you the biggest fucking flag you'll ever see yeah and you'll fucking win that was crap that was embarrassing if I was him I would definitely go Manchester United well there's a reason that I'm probably not leading the pitches to him just like just come on so what do you say in these meetings that you're in I normally just sit and observe and not I'm actually bringing in the teas and I just work there yeah anyway moving on i'm so glad we did that bit come up north have a corned beef pasta in a sausage roll mate which they're not allowed to eat because they're dieting they're not gonna eat if they're fed by the club they're allowed to eat whatever they want outside of training yeah i've realized that point but they're not gonna be they're gonna be they're fucking elite athletes man they'll be strict they'll have a sausage roll?
17:31Nah, they'll be strict on their diet. No, during the season for sure. I'm telling you now,
17:36Reev:they're not as strict as you think. I think they're more strict than you think. Yeah, I don't agree with you. I think in a Champions League football club. You're telling me they don't have pizza after a game? They all have private chefs. Yeah, but they still eat pizza every day. They'll have a bite of sausage roll though. Is that what you hope the dream one day, you still make it as a footballer because you want the pizza after the game? No, but obviously you'll have pizza after a game. We all talk about the food, like the free food.
18:01Reev:is very different. Sourdough pizza. Who gets a sourdough pizza? What's happened? What is this chat? Let's talk about the footy. There isn't any. I'm getting a boner. We get no football. Moving on to some breaking... Actually, that's not true. It's a lower league football. I watched... Yeah, thank you. Also, I watched some friendlies the other day and I want to shoot myself. But they weren't that bad. Did you watch League One at the weekend? No, I watched Celtic against St. Mirren. Yeah, I watched Luton. I was the first half of that. It's honestly, he's getting like... I even watched the cricket, which was good, actually.
18:33Nah, we fucked that, though. By the way, sorry, I don't know what we're doing. Why the fuck can't you sub someone in if he's bust his shoulder? That's bullshit. Anyway, fucking Son's leaving.
18:42Reev:Everyone treating him like a war hero. Carrot, no, fuck it up. We only had one arm. I'm talking about cricket. Right, moving on to the breaking news. And that is Thomas Frank is putting his cock down at Spurs. One of Tottenham's biggest, I'd say biggest legend. Twice in the end. Son is leaving he's sacked it off and he's going LAFC yeah I think it's time to be fair I watched a clip of him in pre-season it weren't pretty viewing he's left at a good time he's won his trial he's done pretty well there you could say the soul of the club is leaving oh that's good though I get it how do you know he's from Seoul he gets a statue no?
19:19Reev:Reddit I think oh home supporters in Seoul are you being no he's moving to LAFC for 20 million quid quite a lot of money. They're getting a lot of money from him. He's still a good player. Yeah, but how much has left his contract? I don't know. I don't know. I feel like it's all right. Lewis? 33-year-old, 20 million quid. That is kind of a lot of money, like. Yeah. Yeah, and actually, not only that. That's fucking ridiculous. Yeah, but no, no, but the commercial value is son though, isn't it? The commercial value of son is crazy high. Yeah, I understand. They will make, yeah, I guess so. They're going to make so much money back immediately.

19:50Reev:It could be the MLS's biggest ever transfer fee. Really? Yep. What do you mean It could be Obviously surpassing Latte Laf What does that mean It could be Remember Latte Laf Is going to be The next big thing But he's signed For 22.5 So it couldn't be Because that's more Tom's answer to Everyone's striker problem Is Latte Laf Oh yeah He's good man He's better than the MLS Lewis's point is still right You said it could be The most important It can't be It can't be Yeah Option to rise I'll have it No no no Where have you even Where have you deleted it that made him put it back on because he'd done the wrong match.
20:27I actually think it's 15 rising to 20, what I read. Really? And my sources were always correct.
20:32Reev:And also, Beckham got quite a good deal when he went, but he went on a free technically. Yeah, but you know what he did, didn't you? What? He'll give him a football club. He'll give him a football club. Yeah, Son, how do you rate Son's Premier League era? That's pretty unbelievable, yeah. 10, I want to go 10. Would you say you had some good partnerships with some certain players throughout the years? Harry Keir? Him and Asu Okotter went off. Asu Okotter. Well, funny you say that, Tom because actually Sonnenkain's duo are actually the highest goal scoring duo 47 goals combined together yeah yes do you know who's second yeah Sheeran Sutton Wilson and Matt Ritchie no Wilson and Fraser Wilson and Matt Ritchie really Wilson and Fraser in a single in a single in a single season in a single season no no no in a single season in a single season with Wilson and Fraser it's Sheeran Sutton Wilson and Fraser in a single season oh please be wrong keep going this is not a is this single combination Abomath please be wrong oh my god it's not even top 10 it's not even top 10 it's a Premier League you shouldn't be on this podcast I'm not even joking let's sack him yeah that's crazy crazy they scored a lot though oh no wait hang on a sec this is not boding well for his list is this another there aren't another list oh my god yeah so thinking about Son and Kane we decided to look back throughout history and decide our best partnerships throughout football.
21:53Reev:Now, previously, we have done best centre mid partnerships and striker partnerships. I think we've done. Yeah, centre back and forth. And the Premier League specific as well. Well, we're doing...
22:05We're doing global football and opposition. Can I just quickly say something? Firstly, I've got piles, right? I know he's not joking this time. You probably know it's why I'm so much higher than Reeve. I'm sitting on a pillow. I've barely slept my list is shit alright it's shit have you got any trios in there no because it's the duos you fuck wit I didn't know how to order them and I'm just apologising about me well you can go last then yeah hell yeah no it's not shit it's just it is shit it's hard to do duos when everyone's in a three I know what you mean I know what you mean
22:41Reev:do you want to pick the best two out of the three or preference alright go on alright well I guess I'll go first by the way You'd be proud of me Since you were gone Oh no you had it You were really good On the one clip I watched Yeah I don't remember which one it was But you were really good You were embarrassed Thanks dad No you said I got Tom's approval Trent wasn't a free agent No you said Harland Was a free agent Yeah yeah yeah You fuckwit Yeah Everyone backed me On the trend And you also Why were you saying Why were you saying Trent wasn't a free Because they paid money for him Yeah They didn't pay a transfer fee They didn't I told you Everyone backed me In the comments on that It's 10 million There wasn't a transfer fee No don't you Go quiet now because you were with me.
23:19Reev:What do you mean? What do you mean? I agree. Oh, I'm scared to speak up. No, I need help. That's fucking offshore in Panama, mate. What are you on about? What did I say, Dad? Did they exchange money for the police? No, they paid him in dildos. They did do that. Throw down. That's a joke. Yeah, zero. Have you heard him in... No. Right. What? Dude, Benningham, having a baby. No, guys, they're not having a baby. Congrats, man. Anyways, guys, My 10 for duos for world football Any position Is In 10 Ferdinand and Vidic I think that's quite low Yeah I know but also And I fucking hate Vidic When I was ranking them I thought actually It's not actually That's quite It's actually 10th all time Did you just call me a wanker?
24:04Reev:No I didn't do that 9 I've got Puyol and Pique Pretty beast mode 8 I've got Lampard and Drogba Someone say that's too low I'm not saying that Is Lampard and Drogba a duo? Yeah, they had so many goals together if you look it up. I don't class them as a duo. What do you mean together though? Oh no, by the way, I've got some shit ones as well. You could probably make a case for like Aguero and Bernardo Silva or David Silva. Yeah, we have this situation. I found it weird. But Lampard and Drogba always seemed like he was in behind Drogba. Yeah. I thought of partnerships are... Yeah, there you go. 56 goal combinations for Josh.
24:44I didn't put them in. So I thought partnerships are like your strike partnership or maybe right wing, right back or something like that. No, no. Also, Drogby did facilitate a lot for Lampard. But I didn't realise... I didn't realise they were second...
24:55Reev:That's a fucking great shot. Thanks, man. I didn't realise they were second behind Kane and Son. You're still bolding. Carry on. Fair enough. Say that I got Ronaldo and Benzema nine years together going pretty beast mode together. What the fuck am I doing? What is going on? Oh, yeah, you have got a bit of a belly on you. But it may be bloating from your piles. Theo, I have a question. Is that not rather low? For who? Ronaldo Benzema. No. Again, they're not a duo. It was more of a trio with Bale in there. But I think when you hear the duos coming up, you'll think, wow, damn. Wow, damn. Okay. There is one which is maybe a little bit too high, but we'll get on that.
25:31Reev:Six, I've got Terry and Carvalho. Oh, my God. I don't want to do my list, you know. I just haven't got... He scored 15 goals. No, no, I'm saying my list is really bad. I'm saying your list is good. By the way, there's one I didn't put in because I didn't watch too much of them. You know, Teren Cavallo conceded 15 goals that season? Yeah. You know, between, I want to say it was like 97 and 2000, I think it was, Borrecy and Maldini conceded 15 goals in three seasons. That isn't true. It is. In Syria? That's not true. It is. That's not true. Borrecy, Maldini, Maldini, 15 goals. If that is true, I will give you a handjob.
26:0523 goals. So you're wrong. No, it was 15 goals.
26:08Reev:Oh, debunking one of the biggest myths in football history. No, it was in a three-season period. That's so good. Typing Baracy and Maldini, 15 goals. That's not true. That cannot be true. If that's true, I'll kill myself. There you go. In one season. No, it's three seasons. In one season. They conceded 15 goals in 34 games. Not in 38. No, it was three seasons. I saw it. It's not. Well, they're not in my list anyway, so. Yeah, they're not in mine. Say sorry. Sorry. Nah, I fucking saw it somewhere. Yeah, because you just believe everything you read. You fucking said sorry to him. You thought they conceded 15 goals in three seasons.
26:54Reev:I was like, that's kind of impressive. John Terry scored as many as they conceded. Did that have some Rick Waller in goal? Google Rick Waller. You'll know what I'm going to do. Big boy. right carry on with your shit list then wait no i'll find it all right so uh terry cavalli at six
27:15Reev:uh terry cavalli at six rick on the man he's on pop idol uh five five i got henry and berkamp for just vibes uh four i got kane and son no what they didn't win anything yeah for combinations though on the pitch it's not necessarily on the pitch they were beast mode partnership combining together it led to nothing doesn't it but they got the most gold combination they were dead we're talking about partnership in order for it to matter not necessarily so I've got European so are fucking Danny Diccio and Scott Dobie what's the way these names go to at the moment three I got solid partnership this one was like genuinely one of my favourites so I had to put in this eye Kane and Son can't be fourth I don't think I'm wrong you're wrong three I got Rooney and Ronaldo I thought they were just like they were just like like yin and yin.
28:02Reev:Horny on it. Yeah, it was just sexy vibes. It was like Totonight and Vapors just fucking each other. What? No, I didn't say that. Two, I got Xavi Iniesta. Yeah. And one, I got Messi Suarez. Cool. Can I go next to get my not the way, please? We'll save yours. I'll go. I've left out some big names. I've literally just got pure duos. Mine's shit. I've left out trios. I'm going to find this Maldini one. I actually have Maldini, but with a different player. I thought you might be still at the same one. Nesta. Yeah. number 10 Terry Carvalho number 9 Mane and Salah I know part of a trio but like in terms of contributions of what they've won I've got them as well I've got them as well I've got them as well fucking get in there yes there because for me you know like dropped in there yeah they were just like that's what I was thinking Tom yeah I know we know ball we know ball 8 Lampard Drogba for the reasons above 7 Rooney Ronaldo obviously you prefer them a little bit more than I do 6 Lewandowski Thomas Muller they basically won They won like a million Yeah that just feels a bit crap No they scored Like a million goals I didn't know what you said What did you say It feels a bit crap Doesn't it Lewandowski and Mullen Crap This segment is International football One of the most We can't One of the most Lethal goals Scored partnerships Are a bit crap Do you know what I mean though No I really don't I think they have to be In a partnership list If we're doing European football What are you looking at I've got to find something Five Maldini Nesta How have you been about The solar system I'm not I'm scrolling back From my history Five Maldini Nesta four Henri Bergkamp three Benzema C.R.
29:31Reev:seven as you said there were nine years together and they won pretty much every trophy two Javier Niniesta and then one Messi Suarez yeah go on Lewis I'm sorry for backside can we read through his whole chat GBT history this isn't me this isn't me Jodie okay I was going to say the variation of topics coming up on Jodie it's a Jodie she was in the car I would also like to apologise for my list not because of lack of sleep what do you mean also why don't you just apologise not because of lack of sleep on my side just because I'm not very Just apologize for yourself. Not very clever. For being you.
30:01Tenth, born with Owen and Heskey.
30:14Reev:You know what, right? You could have given me 100 guesses. I never would have said that. How long did they play together? They were lethal. How long did they play together? I don't know. What have you... They were really good together. Have you possibly thought in your mind to come up with that? Heskey is the reason Owen got his big move. Oh, by the way, big move to where? Real Madrid? Aye. Type in Owen and Heskey. I promise you. I promise. Wait, I've got... Heskey was class back in the day. Kissed out with his reputation. No, he was sick, but I've not seen them on any list. Yeah, they were like good together, but like...
30:50Reev:10th best international punishment of all time, any position. is Owen and Heskey. Heskey was mint, though. Yeah, Heskey was good. Don't get me wrong. Fuck Owen. What are you doing at Newcastle? Fuck Owen. At Liverpool. At Liverpool. He is friend of the show. Friend of the show. Ninth, I've gone Puyol and Piquet. Ooh, lovely. Just above Owen and Heskey. Eight, I've got SES. Sheridan Starris? No, Shearer and Sutton. See, bold knowledge. Shearer and Sutton. It could also be Shearer and Sheringham, I think. yeah but the real one was Sutton yeah but Shearer Sutton yeah we all know about their partnership can you know three teams Chris Sutton played for no Sutton United no they were that was Shearer Blackburn in the way he still had legs weren't you wait wasn't that 94-95 before you were born huh when were you born 98 you were born in 98 four years before you were born do your research everyone knows about the SES do your research Owen and Heskey seventh Lewandowski and Muller sixth Maldini and Nesk Oh, here it is.
31:55Reev:I've got it. 1988 to 1991. It's not true. Maldini. It's not true. It's been saying there's been Jody on Chad GBT. Yeah, Jody threw that one as well, did you? Jody, can you type in Maldini next on Chad GBT? We have to look at your old Chad GBT searches on backside. What sort of questions are you asking Chad GBT? Milan only exceeded 14 goals. 23. No, but in Syria, in Syria, in Syria. It's there. Yeah. What are you on about? Serie A was 14 goals. Mate, what are you on about? The 23 goals. According to Football Iconic, which didn't even, not even the actual. In 1987 EOS season, Milan conceded only 14 goals.
32:36Reev:No, but in 196 matches, which is three seasons. That is crazy. 23 goals. That is fucking, it may not be 13, but it's 23 goals in three seasons. Hey, I take the dub there. Yeah. You said, oh, I was nearly right. Oh, I'm right. Didn't you say it was four or 14? Which one did you say? 13, I said 13. You're 10 off. It's actually half the amount, really. It's still pretty good. We're not denying that, but you just lied. Again. So six. I'm going to do my list. The computer lied, not me. Sixth, Maldini Nesta. Fifth, Kane and Son. Fourth, Onra. I have the Kane and Son disrespect. They didn't win anything.
33:15Yeah, they have won anything. I think they've got the most gold partnership. They've won a partnership into any other. any actual top team in the world. But they didn't win anything. I don't know. But as a partnership, they're in my list. As a partnership, they were fucking unbelievable.
33:29Reev:You put them ahead of PK and Puyol. I put them ahead of Henri Bergkamp. There can't be a head of PK and Puyol, can they? Puyol? They can. Puyol? Right, he's finishing this. Puyol. He's got Puyol. I'm starting to get cranky. Puyol. Puyol. He's actually friend of the show. He is friend of the show. Puyol's friend of the show. I saw him at a party. That's good. Yeah, me and Carlos, mate. Are you sure he's in? And then I mean, the funny thing is, I went in the toilet. You looked a bit like a lion. I just saw this hair at the top of the toilet. And you went, how'd you get that? Do you like my hair?
34:05Fuck. Anyways. Third, Rooney Ronaldo. Second, controversially, Messi Suarez. Because first for me is Xavi and Iniesta. So no, no, no,
34:15Reev:but Owen Ineski. Right, let's get this out of the way. Benzema and Ronaldo on your list. Orn and Heskey. No Lampard and Drogba. You do research. Orn and Heskey. Orn and Heskey. You've got Kane and Sonhoff. Benzema and CR7. Did they make Heskey tie, mate? No, he's just not going to. Can I get this out of the way? Go on, Tom. I'm sorry. Chris Brandt. Who you got here? Arnold Demwingi. I can't. I don't know what I was doing for number four. It's not a duo. I mean, technically. Just get to it, man. I've gone Son and Kane, 10. York and Cole, 9. Come on, guys. The famous goal in Barcelona. Maldini, Nesta, 8.
34:59Salomone, 7. Silva, Aguero, 6. Not a duo. I don't care. Henry, Bergkamp, 5. Yeah, come on. You've become so excited. What's 4? Terry and Lampard, 4. Oh, my God. No, no, no. That is so bad. You might as well have said the fucking sugar beans. Why have you got Terry and Lumpard?
35:23Reev:Fuck it. Let's put Lehman and Henry and John Terry. No, explain yourself. Oh, fucking hell. I think I just got a really good mate.
35:36Wait, wait, wait. They're fourth as well. Oh, God. In football history, the fourth best partnership is Terry and Lumpard. They want to lock together, mate.
35:46Reev:They could be further from each other on the pitch. Well, they could. They could. He could be a striker, yeah. He could be a goalie. Mate, he was captain. Lampard was vice captain. They had pictures in the dressing room. They had pictures together. They had pictures in the dressing room with their tops off. They're good mates, man. Terry used to pass the ball a lot to him. To the point where they're the fourth best partnership in football. Yeah. Right, third. I've got Vidic Ferdinand. Ferd? Yeah. That is great. That is so shitty. Oh my God. The third best partnership in football history. The third best partnership in football history.
36:24At least Terry Lampard had pictures together.
36:26Reev:Hang on a bit. Let me drink and got Ronaldo Benzema in your list. No.
36:33Terry Lampard over Ronaldo Benzema. Hang on. Give me out. Vittich and Ferdinand.
36:38Reev:I got Jordi Albert and Messi. Vittich and Ferdinand are probably, in my opinion, the best centre-back partnership full-time in the press. And they won three in a row. They won a... You know what? I don't care. Terry Carvalho? Yeah. I think they're better than them, yeah. And second, Rooney Ronaldo. First, Xavi Niesta. Where's Messi and Suarez? Messi and Suarez. Messi and Suarez. Or Fence and Ronaldo. The reason they're partnership with Messi and Suarez. I did preface this with I weren't doing trios. So, fuck off. Messi and Suarez. Messi and Suarez, probably. Why aren't they wearing a duo? What about?
37:07I was not part of Terry and Juarez. I was not part of Terry and Juarez. Oh, no! Messi and Suarez. I don't think it doesn't work, man. Oh, no!
37:12Reev:They're a duo at the moment. He said Mane and Salah as well, which kind of defeats one of his losses. Mane and Salah are a duo at the moment. How have you looked through that? Shit, Joe. How have you looked through that list? I thought, yeah, that's what I thought. Did you know what I prefished my list with? You typed it out. It's gone back to the generation of steam. Yeah, you typed it out. You typed out. You got the fourth list and you typed, whilst trying not to shit myself. You got Puyo Piquet on your list? No.
37:42Reev:Henry Bergkamp's missing. They're on it, you bull fuck. Hey, Will said it, not me. I had to repeat what the producer says. Like I said, I'm sorry. Generations. I could have lied and changed the list, but. Right, Reeve, you're next. Go on. What? I went second. Do you care that little about him? What the fuck, bud? Oh my God. Who's on your list? I fucking said them all Do you know why? Because he was scrolling Chats Jimmy Tito Yeah Because he fucking Logged off mentally Trying to find this Maldini Ferreira He sat there Just going Yeah Yeah Whilst you were talking You fucking idiot Fucking hell Comment down below That's the worst team I had no Would you count Dani Alves and Messi As a duo Dani Alves and Messi Would you He's got the most assists For him in all time More than More than Lampard Terry He's one of Yeah How many assists Mr.
38:35Terry got the lamp part. But I just, I generally don't get like - What on the pitch? I generally don't get like, even in your stare, how you do that. No, you could have had - No, like - What would have worked?
38:46Reev:You could have gone Beckham and Neville. Sorry, I don't understand what you were, I'm agreeing with you. So, but like - Beckham and Neville. What do you want me to do, sorry? I need you to tell me what was happening in your head. That Beckham and Neville would have worked. Yeah, not a lot. Yeah. You could have gone Beckham and Neville. Yeah, exactly. I don't think you realize - Beckham and Neville would have worked. Courtois and Modric and my arse is falling out of my mouth Courtois and Vixter he's never played in a tournament it is shit I'm a medium Buffon and Mandzukic you should have laughed at that that's disgraceful you could have got Beckham and Neville I could have could have done could have done yeah or Klichy and Kleb Kleb Kleb Alex on the club anyone else anyone else
39:36Reev:Sleever and Gabrielle would have been better Yeah You and her follicles would have been better I just don't know how you and Freed went to that It just doesn't make sense Surely you're right and type it out Surely you type it out This is his Christmas day But surely you type it out Read it back and goes Hold on a second They're not a partnership This is like pleading guilty for murder and him continuing to ask for me to plead guilty? I did it! Why? I killed that kid! I need my inhaler. Fuck me. I can't get my head around it. You can't get your head around something. No, it is because... It's just shit, but it's not like you're begging it.
40:17No, it's only because it's just genuinely not the question. It's like doing a top 10 goalkeepers and then you just throw in Lampard. It's not even... No, that actually isn't...
40:26Reev:It is. It is the same thing. No, because they actually did play together. You just set a position that doesn't count. It depends what you consider a duo. Top 10 goalkeepers. I've got Luis Suarez at number one. I personally didn't consider Suarez and Messi a duo. I consider them a trio with Neymar. But then also... He's leaning over me. Which also contradicts my list to Salomone. I know. I'm sorry. He said sorry. Now you said sorry. I'm sorry. It's like sorry about being you. Say sorry for all of the transfer rumours. Yeah. Mine have been right so far. Right. Well, we're going to move on because this is the funnest part of the show.
41:00Reev:Put me out of my fucking misery. We're going to move on because this is the funnest part of the show. And it is predicting the Premier League team of the season. Elliot Anderson. Elliot Anderson. Don't ruin his list. He's only got 10 players. He can't add anyone else. I forgot to put a left winger in. I mean, we can do it without a left winger, but. Oh, I don't have a left winger. No, we'll choose one for you. Okay. Oh, there's one easy game to go left winger. Play him out of position. You can have. I don't know. My left winger's out of position. No, you can have Ramsdale at left wing. Yeah. One deal.
41:32Reev:Are we all fair in saying that there's certain positions that you can be a bit flexible with? Yeah, of course. Every position you can choose. Yeah, you fucking can. I'm going first. You'll go first, yeah. The problem with this, right, I feel like it's hard to be like... Niche. Yeah, because it's just always the best team. No, I think you... I've got a niche job couple. I think you sprinkle in... Oh, baby. I've done a bit of sprinkling again. I have sprinkled my fucking... In goal, I've got David Reier. How'd you come up with that one? Ah, niche. Crazy, I think Arsenal are going to keep the most clean shoes.
42:06Shit, man. Right back, I've got Timber. Oh, I nearly... A centre-half, I've got Van Dijk and Gabriel.
42:18Reev:Here we go. Fucking hell, just what people are tuning in for. Left back, Juve. Oh, West Ham. Very good. He's another season. El Hatch. His name's El Hatch Juve. It is named El Hatch. It spins with an N, doesn't it? His first name. No, it's El Hatch Juve. Anyway, we're not joking. It's El Hatch Juve, mate. It's not! It is! Look! It's El Hatch Juve! El Hatch Juve. It actually is. I thought he was just Malik. No! El Hatch Malik Juve. I wasn't making it up. Do you think I lie? We're not answering that. Anyway, yeah. He's more like a left winger. But for him to be a team of the season, And he's going to bomb on.
42:56I think he's going to be... He's going to assist a lot of Bowie. But when we do predicting our... What did he even say then?
43:02Reev:He's going to assist a lot Bowie. But Tom, when we do our predictions for the actual Premier League... I'm trying to make it a little bit different. I could just say fucking, I don't know, Vardio. No, no, but my point is... Do you think West Ham are going to have a good season? I think they'll do... No, but the players can have individual good seasons. True, true, true. Sit like Cunha. Yeah, true, true. I think West Ham will be decent. See you. And I think, mate, I think a lot of people think Wan-Bissaka's going to be there. See, see. Well, Walker-Peters is obviously like... Why do you like him?
43:31What have you seen him? I watched him in a friend's other day. And in the World Cup, he was pretty good as well. Because I looked at his club history there. I was like, I'm not really semen. No, he had a really good record last year. Against England,
43:39Reev:he was good against the Senegal. And what I liked about him... And Fulcroft's good. And Fulcroft's back, baby. He's dark horse. I think he's... Yeah, look, he got like seven goals, is it? It's a couple assists. I don't know. Anyway, I'm trying to be a bit different alright career what have you got it in for me today you keep my hat because your hair is shit that's why I got it on sorry I'm joking I don't mean I'm being a bit cranky aren't I right in midfield Kaisado McAllister and Palmer oh that's a bit different yeah and up front I've gone Salah Salah that's niche that's niche I know Harland Harland Harlan.
44:19Harlan. And Illyman and Jai. Yeah, he's in for a big season. I backed up.
44:24Reev:I got him in my FPL team. No one cares. Nish. Nish. Right, who wants to go next? Okay, okay. Okay. Can if you want. Or should we just go around? No, Liz can go. I want to get mine out of the weir. Oh, if you, no, we'll leave you to - It's not actually that bad though. No, if you're saying that, then obviously you've got some spicy ones. The day you die is the day I live. Go on, Reeve. Okay, right. In goal. Have a guess. Right? No. Oh. I've gone Alisson. I fucking love Alisson. No, I think Liverpool are going to win the league again and they'll probably keep the most clean sheets. So I've gone.
44:56Reev:Mamo Vashtili's going to start every game. Oh, I don't think so. Oh, really? Well, guess who started in the friendlies against Atleti Club? Well, they played twice, didn't they? Mamo Vashtili. That's not his name. Alisson didn't play him. Right back, Durian Timber. I've gone a little bit niche for my centre-backs because I think Thomas Frank's going to improve them defensively. so we've got Van Dijk and Van Der Ven that's disgusting VDV VVD do you actually honestly think that though VVD yeah I do I think Thomas Frank's going to make them much better in defence and Van Der Ven do you think Van Der Ven is going to have a better season than Gabriel Saliba how many goals Brentford conceded last season I'm trying to sprinkle them in I'm trying to understand your reasoning Thomas Frank isn't known for being a defensive manager it's going to be more defensive than Ange though isn't it so I mean that'll be an improvement and van der Wendt is a really good quality centre mate how many goals did Spurs did last year?
45:50get on the fucking title from last season
45:51Reev:65 goals they conceded and Brentford conceded 57 oh my god what's wrong with that? that's not a lot of goals that's a lot of goals man so many goals so you think Maldini conceded that in 20 years it's a completely different team so I don't know what the point is it doesn't really yeah and that's what I'm saying do you think van der Wendt is going to have a better season and Spurs are going to have a better defence than Arsenal so it's irrelevant why? No, I think Van der Ven might have a better season than other centre-backs. Brentford conceded 57 goals. I don't think with worse players than Tottenham.
46:24But not, they finished, what? I'm saying, you're saying look how many goals he conceded with Brentford but he's managing Tottenham with better players now. Yeah. So he thinks he can improve the Tottenham players. No, but Tottenham were worse but obviously they're ceiling. He's never been a manager that concedes few goals. I also think
46:39Reev:Jao Perninho is going to be a huge asset for them defensively. Yeah, it's in. It's in. And Madison's done as ACL apparently as well. He's out, out. It's really bad. He's really injured. That's really shit. All right, sorry for trying to be different. You know, let's all just fucking put the same plays. No, you're wrong. Okay, right. Left back got Kukurela. Yeah, I like that shout a lot, mate. That's a great shout. Midfield three, I've got Rodri, who will be back. Rice and Cole Palmer. I actually think Rodri might struggle a bit to begin with. I think it's... No, you... We're on the same wavelength here, Tom.
47:10You most likely will be right.
47:11Reev:I'm just saying. I think Rodri will not be the same player. Hot take. oh my god my coffee started being Van Dijk ended up being better though didn't he when he came back yeah but different humans aren't they you don't think he's better he's as good yeah okay sorry no I apologise get off front three I have two Liverpool players who I think is actually going to be a Liverpool player Salah Isaac he's fucking shit because he's going to be a Liverpool and then finally we're going all out there yeah have some shame have some shame
47:47you're hiding your yellow teeth pissy teeth pissy teeth he's not joining in on his
47:53Reev:you were doing it with me and then you fucking my own popular prediction this season is I don't think he scores more than what Nunes did in his first year okay deal actually I don't actually know if he gets over double digits surely just surely just based on how many chances he's asked for Craig I think Yoccares will get double digits 50 pounds also you did I don't want to put 50 pounds on that also like But Jocares primarily will be our main number nine, I think, come the end of the season. Whereas Nunes... I think it's not Habits. Nunes was... Yeah, well, yeah. I said come the end of the season.
48:20Reev:Hot take, Habits. Nunes was in and out of the... What? Sorry, you just agreed that Habits is going to start up front. Maybe for the first game. Oh, my God. I'll take any bet on that. Why? You think Jocares is not going to start the first game of the season for Arsenal up front? I think it's 50-50 based on the pre-season minutes. Oh, yeah. I don't think that's crazy. I think Jocares starts. I don't think it's even a question. You've just spent how much money on a star striker? I think he's 100 % going to be our main number nine, yeah. But based on his fitness at the moment, I don't know if he's going to start the first game.
48:51Reev:Yeah, but it's a new signing. They always do it. All right, well, that's fair then. Well, take the bet. Take the bet. For what? No, because I said I'm 50-50. I don't know. I'm not the opposite. The only reason you'd take a bet is if you think the exact opposite of what someone said. But you think 50-50? So take a bet. Yes, I'm not going to take the bet. Don't set the fence. Take a bet. Come on. I'm not going to take the bet. because I don't know take the bet oh Fencer Fencer Fencer Fencer the point I the point I was making the point I was making is Nunes was in was in and out of the Liverpool team Jokeres will be the main guy for the majority of the season but not the start you're mental you're mentally unwell alright the loser gets a wet willy take the bet take the bet take the bet yeah pressure wet willy not that wet willy either before you oh wait what can I take it back Right, my go Go on then In goal, I've got David Ryan
49:46Reev:Right back Gusto Yep This guy is a baller Rhys James will play Come on Respectfully He hasn't been injured in ages What are you on about? Rhys James is the captain Yeah, but respectfully He's been fit for a while now No, but come on No, but like genuinely Yeah, it's been Gusto's played more minutes than Rhys James in pre-season what didn't he play a majority of the Club World Cup Rhys James Rhys James played the whole World Cup so did Gusto they can't both play at all did they both play I don't remember that yeah Gusto played majority of the Club World Cup I feel like this might be a fun look I promise you look look at this the thing is they might be managing his minutes differently in pre-season but I feel like they've kept them fit this long there's no reason against PSG 90 minutes Gusto Palmeiras 90 minutes where was he playing then where was Rhys James playing he was playing at right back Rhys James in CDM fair enough I don't remember that fair play I think Gusto's going to make yeah but that was because Kostada got injured didn't it I think Gusto's going to make the right back his number one spot I think he's going to be the man going forward and I think Rhys James' injury record will I think hold him back again in a season I don't think it's crazy I completely disagree but I think Chelsea will have a good season I think Chelsea will have a good season well that's bold yeah I know what do you call me I would never say that to you ok, centre backs I've got Van Dijk and Gabriel thanks Lewis left back, Kerkes yeah, I thought about that cold, I know midfield three of Kaiseido Palmer and Florian Wirt Wirt is about to cook in the new shirt as well of the long sleeves it's pretty hot would they all have long sleeve options?
51:33Reev:no, I know, but it just looks really cold and then a front three of Saka Jokerez and Liverpool's Izak interesting that's what I did yeah Izak off the left well in a team of the season I just fit him in you just fit him in didn't you you put him in right do you think Salah will have a drop off then if you put Saka in I don't think he'll have a drop off but I think Saka will have a drop up I do but I'm scared to not put him in because I'll get cooked yeah that's me being honest yeah and you know what It was between He is pretty It was between Zaka and Salah For the right wing spot I also think Unpopular opinion Well not unpopular That Salah could have A similar season To last season And not get picked People do get border players Like with these teams Sometimes like the new Sexy option They go Ooh and die Or they'll go Ooh Bagnieri Max Dalman
52:31Reev:No one gets bored Of Messi and Ronaldo Did they? We have Modric Won the fucking Ballon d 'Or Shit No yeah I mean I'm just I've got him in But I'm just saying Sometimes people do get like He's Zaka or Zara For the right wing spot I don't know And he has He has eventually Got a slowdown Right Right Right guys We said that about Messi and Ronaldo Tom Until they hit four He's off to AFCON So there's a good period Where he's not going to be playing Oh my god I'm changing it To Zaka No I'm changing it to Diallo Fucking hell Right The actual team of the season is a bit of a rogue one for goalkeeper. We have Raya.
53:08Thank you. Go on, Frimpong, Botman, because Botman, let me talk to you about Botman.
53:15Reev:Come on, Lewis. Lewis, what are you doing? I thought you said Charles, you're better sent back anyway. No, Botman's been injured for like a lot of time. So like he's had some bad injuries. That's good, Demi, you're telling me. No, I genuinely think he's going to come. Remember when Botman was playing, we had one of the best defensive records in Europe. We know you believe this. we're saying it's stupid that's a fact we had one of the best defensive records how long ago was that? it was a couple seasons ago Luke how about this when he was injured last year do you think Luke? yeah so I'm saying he's back and he'll be on great form you think he's going to be back the same player with all these injuries do you think Newcastle will have a really good defensive record this season then?
53:50I think because that's what matters
53:51Reev:in order for centre backs to get picked we're looking to recruit like a high level centre back to go alongside with him so it depends who we get but I think we'll be solid this year like Hall's back from injury Livermento's looking really good and a new centre back I thought it was when I was leaving. Is that a new contract? I think Gabriel will be in the team season, not Botman.
54:10Reev:That's presuming Van Dijk's an auto-lock then. Auto-lock repair. I'm partnering in with Van Dijk and then Cucurella. I'm going to go Tenali, sitting deep. Two out of six already, man. I was really torn with Declan Rice. Or Kaysida, the best six in the league. We're going to finish above you. Rice won't be in the six now. I know, but you're just in the old garden. I know you just spit them in a bit though, don't you? All right, fine. But my logic is Tonali spraying those long balls into a Lange, the fastest player in the league, and Gordon. I mean, he's going to be getting, he's going to be, he's going to be cooking.
54:44Reev:Is he the fastest player in the league? No, thank you. He's like only a little bit off the... He's only a little bit off the... He's only a little bit off the... He's only a little bit off the... He's seen the video. Yeah. Free beast mode. We're going, obviously, Eddie Anderson. He's fast for the fucking fly ball. Eddie Anderson, this is his year to kick on third year running yeah I respect that one what in Forest relegation I believe in him Cole Palmer Salah I would have had a different striker here but fuck him so we're going Sesco he's not a Premier League player you can't pick Sesco he might not even join the league I can pick Sesco for my team of the season prediction yeah of course I can he's not a Premier League player he's not a Premier League player he's going to be playing I predict it's a prediction and he's obviously joining a Premier League club he's not obviously joining anyone he is he's leaving you don't know and by the way I can see whoever I want it's a prediction of what I predict that he comes to the league and becomes team in the team of season I definitely can and then do you think Manchester United are going to do well this year then That's a genuine question.
55:45No, I think he's not going there. Okay, right. So how many Newcastle players have you got in your team? Wait, you've got Ramsdale left wing.
55:51Reev:No, I've got two. No, you've got four. You've got Cesc, though, who you think is going to be at two. He's placed RB Leipzig. And Ramsdale. He's placed RB Leipzig. He's not in the Premier League team of the season. He isn't the team season. He just doesn't have a club yet. You've got Ramsdale left wing? Yeah, what? Have you actually? Oh, yeah, I've got Ramsdale. Who's your left winger? Ramsdale. Are you kidding me? What's happened? What did I miss? he said I forgot to put a left winger in so he said we'll put one in for you wait you said you started that you said he's got 10 players yeah but why didn't you just put a left winger in why did you put Ramstead in because you said I couldn't and give me Ramstead in because he didn't do it it's them's the rules imagine Ramstead actually makes the team of the season I think Ramstead will take the number one spot off so you only pick 10 players you only pick 10 players and 4 are Newcastle players yeah yeah that's not the maths no no no it's the maths he picked 10 that's not the maths he picked 10 and 3 of them were I picked 10 I picked 10 I picked 10 and 2 of them are no they're not Cescou's not a Newcastle player you're putting him in because you think he's going to be at Newcastle yeah but the facts are he's not a Newcastle player so then he can't be in your list I predict he will be so that's what we're suggesting that you're picking 4 Newcastle players it's sort of irrelevant where do you think you're finishing in the Premier League 3rd I think we finished 3rd I think we'll probably do like next week our full Premier League predictions but I think Arsenal we're in 5th and you're in 3rd I think yous have a big humble in the seat.
57:11Oh, sure. Move on. Don't even nibble. Don't even nibble. Said this last year. We almost finished above. No, we didn't say this last year. You did. When I predicted to finish above them, we almost finished second above them. When's the last time you finished above Arsenal? You finished three? Very close to it last year. You nearly finished seven. You genuinely nearly finished seven. Arsenal didn't buy a striker last season. I know you're trying to rage, babe. That's not really true. Arsenal didn't buy a striker last season. When's the last time you finished above them? Just name the year. That's not relevant.
57:40You just said we always, sorry, he just said, we're not predicting, we always finish above you. No, that's not. You literally just said that. That's literally not what I said. Roll the tape. It's literally, genuinely isn't what I said. I may be hearing things. Genuinely isn't what I said. It's not mental to think that, this will be next week's thingy, but like there's so many good teams at the top now. Yeah, not you though. Not you. I think you's, I think you's gone do it. 93-94 Newcastle finished above Arsenal. I don't think you's do it this year. 30 years ago. You always think that. I think, I think Newcastle.
58:07You always think Newcastle are going to be great and you always think Arsenal are going to be shit. I think Newcastle got taken off Arsenal. I think Newcastle took off Arsenal. In 93-94, Newcastle finished third, Arsenal finished fourth. That's not really relevant to what we're talking about, is it? You never finished before Arsenal. Again, it's not a crazy opinion. Football's always mental. Who would have predicted Tottenham and Man United to be down where they were? 12th.
58:28Reev:Arsenal. Yeah, when you do your Premier League predictions, you have to be a bit rogue because that's how you get... Ramsdale at left wing is pretty rogue, mate. Well, there you go, guys. that's our predicted Premier League team of the season also you can't have a go at us because it's a prediction yeah you can't and also when it comes to the end of next season we'll have forgot about this or we'll delete the video and we'll delete it again next year so hold on and we are going to be doing our 1-20 full Premier League prediction next week so make sure you tune in to that and what other predictions do you want us to do messaging because we always do what do we do top goal scorers top goal scorers sister king manager of the season sexiest footballer you have to make it weird don't you?
59:06Reev:You said tight it's shorts. Yeah. We do that every year. Was that weird? Yeah, to be fair though. Anyway. Do we need this last bit, do you reckon? Yeah, baby. It's just a tier list. Well, you two need to move up because you're like half off the Yeah, nice. Fuck me, baby. I'm food so bad. I'm me. Yeah, I'll have him rolling straight in. I'll have a toasty lake. Get a bit sick of the tosses. Right then, guys. Now what we're going to do is we're going to do a tier list of Premier League managers. People seem to enjoy this tier list so we got another one coming for you one to two actually it's not one to twenty it's a tier list so the tiers are by name from bottom to top sacked by Christmas fraud watch does the job big dick energy and world class did you tell him to put that in I can see the title it's almost better than world class but me and Lewis have to give you the names of the managers we know I don't know every single manager name.
1:00:05I don't know fucking whoever Sunderland's were. Who the fuck? I need to have a look back. You don't know the Sunderland's were. I can't remember his name. Who's that bloke down there? It's like three. Bottom left. Reggie Libri. Who's bottom left?
1:00:15Reev:Reggie Libri. Who the fuck is Reggie? Sunderland's manager. Who's next to him? The walls manager. Ferrer. Peter Ferrer. I know him. I know him. You own a football podcast. It's really said that as if it was a big challenge. The only one's got like... There is a big challenge. Who else don't you know on that? Can we get him to see all of them? Theo's reading the names out. What the fuck's here? We ought to give him two. The thing is, I know them. Who's the first one? That's Hurtzer. Oi! Where are we putting him? He'll be on Does the Job, I think. No, Big Dick Energy. Yeah, he's better than that, I think.
1:00:50Reev:He's only like 20. Actually, I think... He is really young. He's the youngest manager... He's the youngest manager in the Premier League, right? He's 32. I think Brian will have a very good season. So yeah, whack him in Big Dick Energy. Can you define... What is a... That's not what we're doing. We're basing it on what they're doing. How good he is. On that though, what is a very good season for Brighton? Eight. Eight. Top eight. It's going to be... It's weird because that's the sort of top of their sort of bracket and it's going to be basically impossible for them to do... Well, I think they could even be higher than that.
1:01:19They might get Champions League. Because I think certain teams,
1:01:23Reev:Villa, Newcastle, Forest will drop off. Yeah, they might be higher than you, mate. Obviously, next up, we've got Oliver Glasner, the Crystal Palace manager that is. I'd go BD. I'll put him in the same category. He's not worse than Herzler, is he? I actually think he's really good. He's got Mateta firing in all cylinders. It's hard. I feel like does the job to Big Dick Energy. And come the end of the season, he turns into Pep Guardiola anyway, doesn't he? Are we going to have everyone in Big Dick Energy? I know, does the job is a bit like, I feel like we need to rephrase that category because otherwise everyone's going Big Dick Energy.
1:01:53Because like, does the jobs a bit of a...
1:01:55Reev:Yeah, true. Because Iriola is Big Dick Energy too. Yeah. A lot of them will just be Big Dick Energy. I think I think Gleisner in the middle one. Surely just put solid, right? Solid. Solid. Solid. Solid. Solid. Solid is solid. I think Gleisner's solid. Really? I think he's I think you'd put the other way around. Yeah, I think Gleisner's better. Oh wait, he did win the FN card. Yeah. Big Dick Energy. Big Dick Energy. It's even the fact that about City was like yeah, they won't beat us like that again next time and then they fucking Would anyone be against moving Herzl down? I think Herzl is solid and then Gleisner So far, yeah, actually.
1:02:32They had a bit of a bad end to the year, didn't they?
1:02:34Reev:Iriola, the Bournemouth manager, guys. I'd go big Diggins. Yeah, same category. He's an exciting up-and-comer, isn't he? He could have been picked up by Spurs. I mean, that's definitely a tough one. I always forget this guy's name. He's German. Yeah. He sounds like a brat verse, doesn't he? Does he? Does he? He is... Go on. Oh, fuck. Do you want his initials? No, no, no. Have a guess. No, if you give me initials, I'll get him. No, no, no. Don't give him initials. Have a guess, Leo. No, go on. This is on the screen for people watching, by the way. Managing Legionoid. We're one of the biggest clubs in the country.
1:03:02Yes, I know who he is. Just won the championship.
1:03:04Reev:Yes, I know who he is, Tom. Go on then. All right. Who is he? He actually... Vart. Vart. Don't know how to do that. A brain Vart. He managed Norwich as well. Yeah, he did. He did. That's good knowledge. That's good knowledge. Thank you. His name is fucking... Sal, almost. You were close. Do you want to know another fun fact? He's actually married to Oliver Kahn.
1:03:33Reev:it's df yeah what are you so oh i'm bored now oh uh yeah fuck yeah what's your first name dominic fuck
1:03:44Reev:now visit dave fuck
1:03:52Reev:that's so good i'm fucking it's actually down to Down to Fark Ah nice Down to Fark Fark is going to be on fraud No actually what's his first name seriously I think Oh do you go Destiny Fark Destiny No seriously no Jokes aside now What's his first name No yeah seriously Dougie Dougie Fark Dougie Freeman Alright now what's his first name Dougie Freeman It rhymes with Bildo Oh Dildo Dildo Rob come on we need to do this Sack my Christmas. Nah, he's on fraud watch. He won't get sacked. No, I'm thinking of sacking. Yeah, Leeds will sack him if he starts. Yeah, I think he's going to get sacked. Actually, actually, actually, actually, actually, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.
1:04:34Leeds have got a really nice start. They do. Yeah, I think he's going to be fraud watch. I don't think he's going to get sacked. But we're basing this not on what they're going to do, what he's done. Yeah. And he's always failed in the Premier League, but he's always failed with a team that has never spent money, which is Norwich. I'd go fraud watch. Yeah, like I said originally. Your old championship correspondent. How did you, how did Daniel Falk? You do in the championship? What? No, championship conference. He won the league with Leeds. Yeah, no, but like, how did, did you like his type of play?
1:05:02Was that going to come to the prep? I think Daniel Falk's quite limited, personally. I think he gets, I think he gets away with having the best team in the championship often. Yeah. Like with Norwich and with Leeds last year. But admittedly, Leeds were really good last year. Do you think they'll be more pragmatic coming up? I'd like to think he's learned from Norwich, but my honest opinion no I don't think I think he's sacked by Christmas because then I feel like when you get to like Scott Parker you're putting him in like above and the thing is with that I actually think if Leeds have
1:05:33Reev:a strain of bad results they will be they'll chop him they will be less likely to sack Parker I think I was going to say it's not necessarily his fault but like it's going to be a tough challenge to do well drop it like it's hot daddy fuck that'll be your son because Leeds will just D-A-D-I daddy mama Mama. Next one, Theo. Go on, Theo, who's next? Silver. First name? Come on, Daniel. Oh my God. It's Silver. What's his first name? Come on. Theo, come on. It was Bernardo. Oh my God. Come on. Come on. He's been in the prep for years. Antonio. Do you actually not know it? He doesn't know his first name.
1:06:13Reev:I forgot. I've got a bad memory. Are you doing this on board? I've got a bad memory. Oh, you don't know. He's a follow manager. You know his name. Yeah, I know. Watford. I know. He's been in the league for years. I know. You don't... When you go on who wants to be a millionaire and you panic on questions, you forget things. Yeah, but they don't even get pictures of who wants to be a millionaire. His name always comes in twos. You never just see his end there. That is true. You never say Silva as a manager. You always say his full name. It's like Ollie Watkins. Yeah. You never say Watkins, yeah.
1:06:43Reev:Or Rhys James. So what's his first name? Oh, my God. That's unbelievable.
1:06:52I can't
1:06:53Reev:Polo Oh Rolo Silva
1:06:59Rolo Silva I like this more than the actual T-shirt
1:07:07Reev:If you say something and I say Polo Oh Marco Silva Yeah I didn't know that Jesus Sorry listeners I did know that Just because I have a bad memory No That's different level Solid No but if you said Marco Silva I'd say Fulham I'd go solid too Solid yeah I like Marco Silva I think he does a good job at Fulham What'd you do too? Say well done on your job at Fulham The next one is Arnie who? Slut Arnie Slut World class yeah Yeah world class He's proved it hasn't he He's proved it Oh fraud watch He's obvious fraud watch That's Ruben Amarin Well done Yeah he's fraud watch Mate honestly Oh yeah I don't want to seem biased but I think he is sacked by Christmas How long do you give him I actually don't think United will be that bad This year I think they'll be top 10 But okay But in the scenario Which for them Is not bad at the minute In the scenario Where they linger around 14, 15 Linguin If they linger around 14, 15 Is he sacked by Christmas Or did they win it out I think Yeah this time They'll get rid of Well they bought some Good players I just feel like Now they're so Deep into his philosophy The reason for choosing that Would be thinking That they are going to be there I think the person I personally think I think they'll be sitting around 10th by Christmas I think they'll be like 11th 12th I don't think that would be warranted enough to sack him if that makes sense I think even if he is 13th 14th to keep him though no but the category is sack by Christmas do you think he'll be sack by Christmas if you think United will be like 10th in the league I think it's just forward watchers yeah I agree that's what I think I think even if he is lower I think they're so deep into like understanding the long term thing with him because they got rid because they spent big and they got rid of key players so they can't sack him six months like what are they potentially going after Donnarumma as well Donnarumma which is mental on a free yeah or 30 mil not Thomas Frank big dick energy big dick energy I think he's been hired by Spurs he's got massively under he's stepped down mate he's been getting Brentford mid-table whilst losing Tony he's been amazing at Brentford but he's taken a step down no this is the thing this isn't a prediction Theo He's actually a class manager.
1:09:20He's a very good manager, I will say.
1:09:22Reev:So you're ranking him on the thing. He's better than Hurtzman and Mark O'Silver. That is Graham Potter. Oh, show off. Fraud watch. I used to back him so much, but he just is a bit fraud watching. But actually, Tom, you shouldn't agree with us here because you think West Ham are going to have a great season. No, he just thinks Juve will. I don't think that's the same. He looks to hang on to one thing, doesn't he? Because of Graham, you'd say. I don't think West Ham will be that good. No, I don't have them high. I think they'll be like 13th or something. What about full Krag? He might do all right.
1:09:49He's wank. Fuck full Krug.
1:09:52Reev:The big stiff idiot. What do you think? What do you think? What do you think? Sorry, just to talk about Graham Potter a little bit more. What do you think the situation of West Ham has to be in order for him to be sacked by Krug? I don't think he suits West Ham as a club. No, he's too groovy for it. I think of West Ham the same way. I think of like Everton, like gritty and like... And just like hard to beat and like fast and not past the ball really. like yeah I know they haven't really done anything in the Chelsea I'm not sure about him West Ham are quite a big club he's only excelled at quite small clubs no offence Swansea and like Ostersunds or whatever Brighton Brighton yeah but then when he moved to Chelsea couldn't do it West Ham are a bigger club than Brighton I don't know next one is Enzo Maresco guys the Chelsea manager it's got to be Big Dick Energy it's not in the tier below he's not in the tier above you fucker I'll be a legend though is he Big Dick Energy just because he won the Club World Cup?
1:10:48Reev:Yeah. I think he's better than solid. He finished four for Chelsea and got... I'm confident I'm doing really well this season. No, no, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, here he goes again. Devil's advocate. That's how you create discourse. That's how you create discourse. Yeah, yeah. Oh. On Moyes, I think big dick fucking energy, by the way. That's David Moyes. On Moyes. I think he's big dick energy. He's not on the top teams, but he's really fucking good, man. I think I agree. And he's done everything. He's class, mate. Everybody goes, turns to gold. Because he's close to solid. You can't just look now. If you look back at his whole career.
1:11:20Reev:I would put him in the table though. I think he is solid. No, you can't put Moyes below the likes of Iriola. Moyes is good. You saw the instant improvement at Everton when he came. Yeah, actually. That's a different one. He won West Ham a European trophy. By the way, to improve Everton that much, that quickly, it's like fucking... Yeah. It's also like he's a good manager. Yeah, he is a good manager. He's a leader. That is Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City manager. Show off. And he's a world-class manager. Yeah. Eddie Howe, fraud watch. Like, I don't know if this is going to be agendered or whatever.
1:11:51I'm going to say, I'm very confident he's world class. You're fucking off your head.
1:11:56Reev:He's solid. You're actually off your head. Nah. I'm willing to have like, I'm willing to have a non-shouting argument. Can we change it to walk by Christmas? Just leave. I genuinely think what he's done with us is, I'm joking, it's a joke. He's solid. I genuinely think what he's done is the work of the world class manager. He hasn't, but the thing is, he hasn't got the world-class accolades to go with it yet. But I think what he's done with... He has got Newcastle Champions League football. I don't make this silly, but like... He's a great manager. One second. Is he on the same level as Pep Guardiola at Arnazla?
1:12:28Well, this is a different... I don't know. That's here. I don't think that means him. Like, there's going to be... In that group, there's going to be people who hire and lower.
1:12:37Reev:No, but you have to be world-class in order to reach that tier. I think he is world-class. I think what he's done at Newcastle... Yes, he is, mate. I don't even know if that's like a I don't understand can you explain to me why he's world class without the same spiel about he took you from relegation to fifth which isn't which isn't as impressive as what the world class managers do which is win the big trophies I think number one with a big trophy argument I think you have to give him time to get us to a position to win the big trophies which is where it's that approach why the effort cut big trophies I think I think he's a really good coach but I'm sick to you I'm sick of hearing and you've gone about these fucking, like, poor olders.
1:13:18Each one of your players is about 40, 50, 60 million. It's not like he's worked wonders. Do not think... He has done a great job. Do not think he's a great manager. Sonali's 100 mil. I don't even know the speak is easier.
1:13:29Reev:Sonali, 100 mil. If you want to get him now, probably. On that season, would you say... I think he did a world-class job last season. Because... I think... Almost finishing seven. You bowled the top four. I'll be happy to explain. No, but you bowled the top four. Okay, I'll be happy to explain. Go on then. We have only sold for two and a half seasons going into that season. Right. And then he's managed to win a trophy after also a very bad start of the year from Isaac, which we now know is because of his contract dispute and shit. Right. And then also got us Champions League. Yes, we fell off a little bit, but like you have to remember going into the end of the season, literally a month out, we were right amongst it.
1:14:04Yes, we fell off at the back end, but we won a trophy, got Champions League again and he's already got us Champions League once. And that's where that's... Wait, wait, wait. Do you think the general consensus
1:14:12Reev:of Eddie Howe is he's a world-class manager? Or is it just you being... I know. I think... He's not on Guardiola's level. Can I come back to what you just said? Can I just come back to what you said? No, I'm not Theo. On the team. That's what it is? No, you order them from left to right. No, you don't. You have to be on the same bracket in order to be considered... Can I review what you just said? Yeah. Who did Arnie Slot sign last summer? He's inherited a better team though, no? He won the press. It's the same aspect though. Yeah, he's done a great... That's why he's in world-class, yeah. Notoriously When a football manager Comes into a club It takes them a while To settle in Liverpool are Liverpool are Different level To Newcastle No but Lewis When a manager Comes into a new club Historically says They ain't going to do well They need time to settle in After club After like a long period Of time with this manager I'm not arguing against him Look at when Wenger left Look at when I'm not arguing against Slog When Slog came in When he won In the Premier League Just blissed the league Guardiola Wins everything Won everything Okay let me respond so that's let me respond that's in perspective to Liverpool's expectations that's all we're talking about for them to overachieve it was the win in the league for Newcastle to overachieve when Eddie Howe first came in he got us Champions League in his first full season that's more than overachieving yeah yeah okay so like he's still done I appreciate that point but everyone in the second tier has overachieved with their career doesn't make them a world class manager as well do you think they've overachieved to the same extent as Eddie Howe with Newcastle and let's not play down Eddie Howe's job at Bormuth I think Glasner has overachieved just as much as Eddie Howe yeah 100%.
1:15:42Reev:He's not a terrible. I think what Thomas Frank has done at Brentford is just as impressive as what Howe's done at Newcastle. I think that's more comparable to what Howe did at Bournemouth though, bringing them up and then solidifying the Premier League and then relegated them. That's like, the thing is, he came up. No, no, but you can't just go and ignore that. What about getting sacked at Burnley? He's a great manager. We're talking about the best managers in the world. He's not on that level. He's not. Because if he was, you would have held on to third or second or at the end of last season.
1:16:11You would have finished above us. I'm just saying, in my opinion, I think yous are looking at it too black and white, no pun intended. Like, what Eddie Howell done, we have. You're saying he would have held on with third weather. We really didn't actually have much. We're looking at it. We'll come back to this when we get into our test. We didn't have much business holding on up there because the squad's been so depleted. Do you know what's hilarious, though? At the start of last season, I reckon if we did a combined 11 of Liverpool-Newcastle, you'd have had more Newcastle players in your team.
1:16:37See, by the way, that doesn't help. you'll just have the best team. None of that helps your argument. You're just saying, I think you'll do that and then all that. Newcastle's five-year net spend is the fifth highest in the league. Yes, but again, net spend is a silly stat to use because Liverpool have players to sell to offset their net spend. You have to have good players to offset a net spend. We didn't have good players to sell. So if someone brings up net spend, that's a silly argument. I think our team's really good. Yeah, our team is really good, but beyond the first team, where there's injuries...
1:17:03Reev:Unbiased thing. We're not saying... We think he's a great... Yeah, we're about to put him in the second best team. We're about to put him on the same... I'm not saying you can't do that. All I've said is, in my opinion, and I think in the opinion of most Newcastle fans, from what we've seen, he's world-class. I agree. He hasn't got the accolades of winning the Champions League and stuff too. What makes you so adamant that he's been better retrospectively than like Glasner and Frank in the previous seasons, for example? Or Mareska? But what's he done better than Mareska? I think if you go back to his job at Bournemouth, bringing them, mate, from the lower leagues all the way to the Prem.
1:17:34I know you're going to say you've got them relegated, but mate Bournemouth were a really good side in that time and he solidified them and they beat a lot of big teams and eventually it didn't work out and whatever and he stepped away and there's injuries or whatever but like I feel like that in itself That isn't world-class management though, Lewis I know but you're asking what puts them over at Moresca I feel like what he's done at Bournemouth is showing that he can do it with a team with limited resources take them all the way to the Prem which not many managers can do unless you are normally have that high potential ceiling to go world-class and I think you're seeing that now at Newcastle but like I understand from an outside Newcastle's perspective you'd be like he hasn't won the Champions League and I'm by it that's not our argument that's not our argument well in my opinion we think he's really good we just don't think he's well I don't necessarily think
1:18:12Reev:he's a better manager than the likes of Iriola or Thomas Frank I agree we're just trying to make I think he's a really good manager but he's just not on the same level he's just not on the same level as like Guardiola and Slott I genuinely don't think we could have asked Eddie how to have done a better job than he has so far on Newcastle and the situation and the no the situation that he's navigating behind the scenes and all the uphill of the club where do you think we haven't had a director of football, he came left, a new one came in and left. Fuck me. Where do you think he's... What do you mean?
1:18:38You said behind the scenes, I went to explain it, then you went, he's a very good manager. If we were doing a ranking system
1:18:43Reev:instead of a tier list, where would you put him? I'd put him above Arteta. No, no, no, I'm not bothered about it. I'd probably just put him like fourth. It's hard to... Would you really put him above Arteta, really? Yes, mate. Yeah, I don't know. See, this is the thing, I don't know. All these arguments you've just used against Eddie Howe not being world-class, I hope we do apply that then. Let's put Eddie Howe on Big Dick Energy, but then let's get on to Arteta later on and see if those hold up with Arteta. I think it's close, but I think I'd edge it Howe. Really? Yeah. Every argument you've just made against Howe we can make against Arteta.
1:19:17Reev:No, but it's more than that. No, Mike. Because you're competing for a league title and I think with that, to take Arsenal... Yeah, but Newcastle aren't competing for a league title. No, I know we haven't got the league, but taking from eighth, actually, at least we're competing with the league title. you know what I mean you didn't last season though you got worse you were worse you just caught you just we just you're seriously telling me you weren't worse last season than the season before yeah we definitely dropped off yeah by about 16 points shocking when you should have won the league last year you were the next team in line if Man City dropped off you were the next team in line that's why he's a world class manager that's why Slott is a world class manager I know but what I'm saying is let's put how big Dick energy but in my mind in my mind realistically I think there's only space for one more manager in world class I think there's two spaces really?
1:20:07Reev:yeah I think it's a top three no I'd have Arteta in solid I don't genuinely saw what? I'm not joking that's no way that's ridiculous VDE can we break it down point by point so the argument we use against Howell let's use against Arteta so I don't know if I agree he's on Guardia's level at all but I think he's definitely He's definitely serving BDE. Yeah, he's in BDE. He's not solid. He's competing for league titles, Champions League runs. You took Arsenal from eighth. He formulated one of the best sessions in the world. So he's a solid manager. Yeah, he's a solid manager. Yeah, so should, and he has.
1:20:43He's done a solid job. So he's doing his job. Solid. But he's also... He underachieved that season. Massively. Yeah, I know. He underachieved that season. Good tactics as well. No, but he is. But solid's a good tier for him. He's a good sack of movement. But he isn't on that top level where he's like...
1:20:55Reev:All right, fine. Let me ask you a second. Do you think he's the worst manager Than David Moyes Thomas Frank Irreola Oliver Gladden Yes Yeah Yes You think he's worse than Gladden See this is the hilarious thing Maybe I am a good guy Gladden was so much more I know I know But right now You think Arteta's the worst manager How many years has he been Asked about How many years has that I think the argument Should be there both Every time we've gone Where do we rank Premier League managers He's always like third or fourth I think the argument Should be there both in there Rather than one being above the other Yeah I think if you look at it objectively Not the team he manages Arteta if you look at his failings compared to what he's achieved, he has been a bit underwhelming with the money they've spent.
1:21:33700... He's been there since... So he's made... 2090... He's been there so long now. He's been there ages, mate. Six years, he spent 700 million. 30 players, sign.
1:21:43Reev:You've got whatever else has spent. But no, but you haven't done anything. You've won that epic hook right at the start, but you haven't done anything else. He's done solid to keep you amongst it, but he's not exceeded any sort of expectation for the modern Arsenal. Do you not think the money you've spent and the size of your club... He should be winning more. 100 % he should be doing more. No, no, no, no. He's doing what he just should. Yes. He's brought us... In fact, no, he should be doing more. He should be winning trophies. I know he should be doing more. So then how's he world-class? He's underachieving.
1:22:06I know. I said BDE. Everyone in BDE, we've said, are outdoing their job. He's not outdoing anything. He's keeping us amongst it, and that is a solid job, but he's not doing anything more.
1:22:18Reev:But you know, I think a manager, who I know we under-formed last year and didn't compete with Liverpool that good, but in the last four or five years we've been I know we haven't won it but have we not changed have we not changed the paradigm of Arsenal being one of the top two teams that should be competing yeah whereas previously it was always Liverpool-Man City now it's Arsenal in the conversation he's been there since 2019 he's done a good job to that level so like you think he's on the same level as Herzler I mean you listen to what you're fucking saying why are you saying that why are you saying Herzler like that this is what I mean I think you were so biased This is where you've been So stupid In the sense of Herzl Herzl is a good manager But Arte is a level of bar Arteta is doing his job Do you know what Herzl actually might have A higher ceiling As a manager than Arteta Because Arteta hasn't developed The same way that We expect him to As a manager He has had a good start He got Arsenal Amongst this situation But since then You have stagnated And he's never taken you above that So maybe at this point Herzl has been A higher ceiling As a manager I know we fell against PSG But to beat Real Madrid is no fucking week to mark, like we dominated Real Madrid.
1:23:24Reev:That's good. That shows good tacticians. That's good management. Have you watched Real Madrid play? Fucking hell. They're just wide open. That was your final. That was your final. It's sad. What do you want to pass? That was your final. But you're not seeing the reverse argument of thinking that if Eddie Howe can be considered there, why can't we consider our Terrence? Because Eddie Howe's overachieving from his expectations. Admittedly, I guess not as much to get him in world class, but I, Arteta is now doing what he should be. He's keeping you amongst it, but he's never taking you over expectation.
1:23:56Arsenal's expectation is to be amongst it and that's what he's doing. So he's doing a solid job. Arsenal should be a club competing for the league. And they are. Yeah, so he's solid. You didn't last season, Theo, at all. You were miles off it, mate. We probably will this year. Probably. You're probably third favourites from the league after six years and£700 million. A lot of failed transfers and you still can't address problems like the left winger. He's signing right wingers. up front he's signing fucking have looks like
1:24:22Reev:do you genuinely think Eddie Howe's a dramatically better manager than Arteta then? Yes I'm really trying to like I'm not being biased but like genuinely for me I don't see I don't see an argument at all for Arteta over Howe like and I don't see an argument of Arteta over any of the managers in Big Dick Energy I just don't think he's achieved what he has to do to get into but he's not necessarily about achievers but what you do at the club as well as management he's stagnating mate he's not stagnating You spend an endless amount Spend an endless money And you're not improving You are improving I mean getting to a semi-finals You literally are improving I can't believe I can't believe you just have a 20 I can't believe you can't So you're basing improvement Just off a cup competition No I'm talking around the whole Should we leave Around the whole cup as well Wait wait wait wait Do you remember when we had the argument That Spurs off He brought up the semi-finals Having a go at me as usual What you on about What You just said You're on the 3D But you never fucking say anything To me do you I didn't hear him say anything I didn't hear him say I'm saying it to both of you Yeah, I'm in the agreement that getting to a semi-final in the Champions League is improving.
1:25:22But what about the drop-off in the league? Isn't that your bread and butter? Because Theo, you were all... The big drop-off was second place. How about leaving the competitions in extremely early stages? I mean, like what we talk about here, you got knocked out by Man United. Like you should be winning trophies. I don't know how you can have a 20-minute... I know we should be winning trophies. You can have a 20-minute conversation. So we're saying he's not exceeding his expectations, is he?
1:25:41Reev:So Arsenal finishing second is... And you're saying get dropped out the competitions, right? What about Spurs? Can you not... Second of all the other competitions. Can you not... It's literally irrelevant. It's literally irrelevant. Can you not recognize after a 20 minute... Can you not recognize we've just had a 20 minute conversation how I'm biased or anything. Can you not... I'm saying they're both in BBE. No, no, no. Can you just take a step back? You're saying one minute more class. No, listen, listen. Can you take a step back and just... I'm trying to be biased. I just don't think they're in different categories.
1:26:03Reev:You're being a bit more rational. I feel like you're being a bit irrational with your thought process. He was going to put him in more class, to be fair. Can you not take a step back and think, maybe I love this manager so much, I'm putting him too high. No, I think they're on the same level. I think they're the same level What is wrong with thinking They're the same level I agree I think they should be in the same level Because it goes against all logic It goes against literally all logic It's like night and day mate You said it's hard to call And you think you might edge out So that means they're similar levels So you agree with me He doesn't agree with you When it first comes up The more I'm thinking about it The more I'm just thinking Those are the managers we've got in that list I think it probably exceeding expectations at their club or doing more than what he's expected.
1:26:48I think Arteta is doing what he should be doing, what he should be doing, not exceeding. And in my opinion, based on the players you've got and the money you've spent and the size of the club and being the biggest club in London and all this, the stadium, the facilities, you shouldn't be consistently failing in cup competitions. That is more, that's, and whether you like it or not, you were so much worse in the league last year. So much worse. And that was yours to win, I think, last year. It was your final year to win it, and he didn't deliver it. He comes unstuck too many times, in my opinion, whereas I think how, like the run in the Carabao Cup, that was a massive run for Newcastle, that.
1:27:28Beating you, beating Liverpool, tactically outdoing these... Chelsea. ...teams who are better than them. I think Arsenal in the Champions League run just beat teams they're better than, and as soon as they come up against a team...
1:27:38Reev:Do you know what I think that's completely discrediting, the Champions League, though? What? You just beat teams you're better than. You did. Name a team you beat who were better than you. But Tom, you can say about any team. Just because... No, I'm not. I've just said Newcastle beats better than... Real Madrid. You're better than Real Madrid, mate. Yeah, but it's still Real Madrid in the Champions League. Like, what are you... No, no, no, no. But it's true. It's actually true. Yeah, but you're better than them. You're completely disregarding beating any team in the Champions League. It was a great win, but Madrid aren't the same Madrid.
1:28:06I think Tom's made a... I didn't even think, though. That is a genuine good point. And like... Put him in solid then. Fuck it, we'll do you two.
1:28:13Reev:Put him in solid. But why are you getting so, like, bitty? We're just making a point. I think if you look at that objectively, and you see... He's just at the same level as these guys. Yeah, because you just look at it as the clubs. Oh, Arteta's an Arsenal manager, so he must be better. But now in a team you beat in the Champions League last season, who are better than you? Well, I'd say Real Madrid in the Champions League. They're not better. You think Real Madrid are better? You're better than them? No, contextually, that matters. Contextually, yeah. That's their competition. Did you think Arsenal beat Real Madrid?
1:28:40Yeah, we all said you'd beat Real Madrid. I don't know if you did. Yes, we did. You didn't say we'd beat PSV. Yeah, that is it. I say you're going to lose every game. But not like... Yeah, but that's obviously just joking, isn't it? All right then, let's go to the season before when it really mattered. What did Man City do to you? You went there and celebrated a fucking draw instead of going there to win and it cost you. Or when they spanked you 4-1. Arsenal, don't go and beat teams when it... They don't shock me. You should... You've got the capabilities to do it. I think you've got the players to do it.
1:29:10I don't think you've got the manager to do it I don't think he'll ever get you over the line That is my honest opinion I agree And I'm not being I think he's done a good job at Arsenal We did do that against I'm genuinely not even trying to be biased
1:29:21Reev:I know obviously they've had an off year last season But we did smash Man City Like that get No you're looking at it like I'm not making a bad Every time you bring up a point It's like come on it's pathetic It's shit No no no They're not the same team You're kind of missing the bigger picture No no no no You're talking about things in context right and we did beat Man City last year when it mattered and as soon as the game ended you were like oh well they're shit this season it doesn't fucking matter last season it was a better team Man City we used worse than Man City last year you were better than Man City last year you're better than a team doesn't mean you're always going to beat them yeah that's exactly that's my point that's why it's solid it's so frustrating you never Newcastle beat but they did beat them Arsenal did beat them it doesn't matter if you're better Man City you're talking you don't like Lewis just because Why can't you go and beat Liverpool?
1:30:09My point is, go and beat Liverpool, man. Just go and beat a team. Go and beat PSG. Stop bringing up XG. Beat them. Get over the line. Actually, go and beat Newcastle in the League Cup and win your trophy. You never get over the line. We can't give them big dick energy when you were knocked out by Newcastle, didn't even score a goal, and you were knocked out by Man United in the other cup early doors when Man United went on to finish like fucking 17th or whatever. I mean, come on, mate. Big dick energy knocked out both cups that pathetically.
1:30:38Reev:Everyone watching is going to be screaming I actually disagree I think you'll see everyone watching I'm happy to take the L right now If it proves that we're correct There's no L to take I think he's on the same level as Eddie Howell We're getting outvoted aren't we We're not, it's 2v2 so we can't Can you not recognise your performance There's no L, it's your opinion, it's our opinion No one's right or wrong here I don't care don't you dare don't you dare I've said my point but I don't care where he goes I think he's in solid put him in solid and we'll see what the comments think yeah let's leave it to that fuck me we've not even finished that's the end fucking hell that's Nuno sacked by Christmas I feel like we have to put him in forward is he not solid I am completely convinced he's getting sacked by Christmas is he not a solid man I think that's fraud watch because of what Thomas is doing.
1:31:38You've got to look what they've done as well.
1:31:38Reev:That's why Thomas Frank's up there. Yes, Theo, but we've got a category that says sacked by Christmas. The rest... He's better than that. Oh yeah, I'd put him in solid. He's saying he thinks he'll be sacked by Christmas. Is that just down to the chairman though? It's like chalk into a wall! I think it's fraud watch because of what you mentioned before and it's true. No, but he's solid. You can't put him fraud watch. He's a solid manager. What do you want to doubt? The answer to this question is he's either solid or he's sacked by Christmas. He's solid. He's not in the gap there. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
1:32:04Reev:He's either going to be a solid manager. Some could argue BDE with overachieving. I would argue that actually. No, but that, yeah, but you need to see him like build on that thought. He's not a fraud watch manager. He's not a fraud watch manager. Did you not watch him last year with Forrest? I know, but it's about, we're all predicting, I think, here that Forrest's going to massively fall off this season and you want to put him in BDE or solid. No, no, no. So it's either going to be, it's either going to be they drop off, he gets sacked, therefore we put him and sack by Christmas or they don't drop off is still remain solid.
1:32:34Reev:That's the answer, isn't it? We've fucked it with the tier list don't really make sense. I think we should just do A, B, C, D, E. No, no, we're keeping it as it is. We ain't fucking changing niche. It will be Saffir. No, no guys in big dick energy. Oh, right. What the fuck? I'm not. No, it just looks like we're taking the piss when people look at it. Yeah, put him inside. No, but to play devil's advocate for Theo. What he did with Forrest is sensational. What he did with Forrest in the Premier League this season is better than what are tetted with Arsenal. You yourself are predicting them to finish well?
1:33:02Reev:In the Premier League only. Yes. So with Nuno, right, I personally think he's in solid, but I can understand his point of big dick energy because he has shown he can outperform his expectations, like at Wolves. Admittedly, shocking at Spurs. That's why I'd have him in a solid. And also at Wolves, it completely fell off at the end. The same way I think it will. The same way I think it will. You were into putting him in fraud watch. Well, because my brain goes straight to like Tottenham and then like what I think Forrest will do this season but Wolves is like a fair point yeah yeah yeah Forrest European football true I think he's minimum solid possibly big dick energy I don't know who this geezer is that's Jerry Ginter can you remember what his name was Jerry Ginter I'd go Reggie Labrie solid Reggie he's done a really good job at playing I don't know who he is is he but is he not going to be sacked by Christmas I don't know man they've spent some they've got Jack now so he's a crazy I feel like if he's gotten to that position, they're giving him enough time on it.
1:34:02Reev:Now look what we've done. I feel like you're doing that on purpose. This is why he wanted them in solid. Jerry Gintz is on the same level as Mikel Arteta and Nuno. This is what I knew he was trying to do this. But you have. No, no, no. But you have. You're belittling them. I don't get it. I'm not belittling them at all. The same I've always had. Do you think they're the same level? Yeah. I mean. I think Arteta is better, but they're the same level. The reason you're trying to get Nuno there isn't even your thoughts of Nuno and et cetera. It's because you want to fuel your Arteta debate now. Because you were always planning to bring that back up when you put Nuno solid.
1:34:40I knew you were after that. No, I think Nuno... What do you want about Nuno? Because your plan to put Nuno there and thingy there was like, you think he's the same level as Arteta? No, I think Nuno's about to put Nuno ahead of him. He's literally about to put Nuno ahead of him. I know, but that was so we could say... No, but I think what Nuno did at first deserves that. Yeah. No, but I'm saying the reason you're willing to put these managers there and not fighting them being on the same level as Arteta is because you want to try and move Arteta up. Right, anyway, who's the next one, sir? I know what he's doing.
1:35:02I know he's going to all the 4D. I thought Jerry Gindler should have been sat by Chrisler. We don't know
1:35:07Reev:if he'll be sat. Anyway, carry on. Next manager, go on, is your guy? Yeah, it's Vito Pereira. Yeah, nice. You can see my point now. Look at the solid. You can see what I'm saying. Yeah, but I don't agree with the managers doing that at all. No, I don't. I don't know your point. What's your point? I'd say Arteta's the best of that list. What's his name? Reggie, sorry. Not Jerry. I've got it in my head now. Reggie, do you think he's the same level as Arteta? I think he's in the same bracket based on what he's done. Sunderland weren't expected to go up last season. Yeah, good point. Admittedly, I do think there's a big gap.
1:35:42I think there's a considerable gap, but he's not on fraud watch. He's just got Sunderland promoted. They're tricky tears.
1:35:50Reev:Park just got Leeds promoted as well, but he's in the set by Christmas. because we think he's going to be sapped out of Christmas so does that based on genuinely like just to break the tier list down does that imply to be honest if we rank them if we rank them like as numbers obviously there's going to be another person in world class who we're all probably going to agree with does that mean Arteta's at maximum 10th best manager in the league this is my point no because it's all fucking ridiculous why is that crazy just that I'm only asking the question no the tier lists are tricky because they're not label like maybe in future we do a b c d e and then it's about ability rather than what it actually says but in reality our territory is where he belongs you think he's a bottom half manager then no that's not what i'm saying by the way i didn't agree with where we have put our managers this isn't my list this is a combined yeah you don't know how high we know that but there's some players who are where managers level he probably's like is he probably sixth best manager maybe six He's not in the solid bit still.
1:36:52Reev:Seventh best manager in the league. You say that. We have some of the best managers in the world in this league. I agree. It could be that number, right? Even then, that would put him in the second team. No, it doesn't. I don't know. I need to make a list. But even when you go, the seventh best manager in the league, as if he's achieved some crazy... That's what he just said in that voice. I know, but he did it in that voice. But Peter Ferreira we're going to put in solid, I think, Will. He's not in Fraud Watch, I don't think. Right, who's this one? He could also quite easily be gone by Christmas.
1:37:22Reev:Who's this one? Do you even know what club he's at? Yeah. Who? Is that... I can't have got my glasses on. Yeah, he's at... No! Get off your phone! Get off your phone! He's at... You can't even pick the club. I'll give you a clue. Someone left. He's at... Let's go with... I can't wait to see which club he picked. One of the managers left and he's filled in the position. Let's go with, he's at Everton. No! That's maybe the boys are joking. Oh my God. Yeah, I know he's at, he's at... Oh, come on, Theo. Come on, man. Who's at West Ham? One manager. West Ham. One manager got a post. Theo, where is he?
1:38:03Reev:One manager got a post. Don't give him a clue. You have given me nothing. Theo. You can't even get the club. Theo. Theo, you are, you're joking. Oh, he's at Brentford. Yeah, so who is it? That's his name? Go with. What's his nationality? Do you know what? He's Irish. he's Irish oh it's David O 'Leary oh my god I actually thought he might have got his first name because it's like a generic funny like yeah you say it with it yeah yeah with the accent at the end Max no Verstappen Erwin no his first name's Dil they don't even have the letter C in Dil O 'Leary last name Do oh fuck it's Keith Andrews Keith Andrews I've heard of Keith Andrews Rangers manager it's Russell Martin no he was the Rangers manager no he wasn't he was assistant at Brentford Mike my just throw them out there do you know a lot about him he's never managed that's what I'm saying I've got no idea it's interestingly stuck with a fraud watch he's going to be like Thomas Frank really he's going to be fraud watch he's going to come on I just feel like Brentford's a cog and it just keeps turning so he might end up being another Thomas Frank that's their plan they actually look kind of similar he looks like Glasner a little bit as well oh sexy that's Scott Parker friend of the show actually I don't mind Scott Parker I think like he was unlucky when he got relegated a few seasons back he got sacked after 9-0 no but like they know because the fixtures they had or something wasn't it he had like a fucking impossible patch and then got sacked before he had a chance to yeah but look at Bournemouth now no but like they sacked him no I'm saying when he got sacked by Bournemouth look at who they brought in and then when I know but they played that manager came in after they played all the top teams and he was sacked before they played other teams around them but we're talking about Iriola right I agree and look at the difference between the Bournemouth post Parker and free Parker which is harsh because Burnley last season defensively were incredible Trafford go in there that's massive yeah I think I think we've got Fraud Watch I think if we're basing on the Premier League he's on Fraud Watch yeah he is on Fraud Watch which maybe actually Reggie Libri should be on Fraud Watch they've just got a thingy from Chelsea who did they just sign because otherwise they're changing ourselves aren't they Choudhury Choudhury did they just sign him no oh someone else they just got from Chelsea Choudhury from Chelsea no no no they haven't had Chelsea I know you're on about Chuck Werner yeah Chuck Werner I know you're on about and they just yeah I think so and they just signed someone else as well that's fucking crazy they're getting some good signings but they're losing their best part of their team which is the defence do you agree with me with what with Reggie down well yeah because if we're doing it by some of the Premier League he's never managed didn't he Jerry you mean right world class world class everyone happy with that yeah fuck it he's top three in the league isn't he don't have your anti-villa glasses on I think he's big Dick Energy because I don't think he's better than Hale but I can't be asked for the debate he's won like 50 Europa League he is the third best manager in the league in my opinion I feel like we'll have the same arguments before I think he is world class no no no I'm saying you could be third you could be the best manager in the league and not world class not this argument again you could not this argument again Unai is very good and he's also good evening he wasn't very good I don't, I personally, I think he's not a class above Eddie Howe, but like that's, that's far.
1:41:18I understand the argument against that, but I don't think it's worth the 15 minutes.
1:41:22Reev:Even for his European pedigree and everything he's done with Sevilla and stuff. Yeah, I think Emery's above Howe. There's also an element where he's just been in the game a lot longer and had a different route, like managers' paths are a bit different. I was going to say he was pretty shit when he came in. I don't know how it did the same thing. How and Emery have had actually very similar times with their clubs currently in the league. Like, Villa, Suffoon, they did a bit better in the Champions League. We managed to get a trophy, but they've done very similarly at Aston Villa and Newcastle. I think they both were really low.
1:41:53I both took them high. The only argument for Emery is his past with Europa League, which is a fair argument.
1:41:58Reev:You say they've been in, I mean, doing it internationally makes it... No, but it's more the past he's taken. Like, Eddie Howe's really worked his way up to the bottom. Doing it across nations makes it more impressive. Managing since 2008. I know, but he's worked, he wasn't like a big name player or anything how he's like worked his way all the way up it's just a different path it's only six years different it's an age are they really? yeah I think I would concede him in world class however I have this little irk about him because he's villain manager yeah obviously he's a fucker but I think I don't know I'm not convinced with him at like big clubs and that everyone goes on about how amazing he is but he's only ever had one massive job when he completely failed.
1:42:39You had PSG manager
1:42:40Reev:who won the league? Well, I mean, it wasn't amazing. Are we really going to... Coupe de France? So what you're implying is he's like... What you're implying is he's an excellent Europa League manager. I think he's an excellent manager. I don't think he's world-class. He almost had five Europa Leagues. He's got four. That is a fair point where there's managers in the Big Dick Energy who haven't had the chance to compete at the level he has. Do you know how I look at it? I thought he failed there. Do you know how I look at it? if Real Madrid needed a manager tomorrow they're not looking at Unai Emery do you know what they fucking might but why have they never looked at him through all the fucking Europa League wins he's had a job no one wants him but I reckon they might but they've gone for Xabi Alonso he's had like two years in manager come on like that's how I look at Real Madrid legend though as well I think Arnie Slott adds a factor Alonso adds the factor of him not only did he what he did at Leeds because he was very good but he was also a Real Madrid legend so he's connected with the club alright but you understand my point don't you I think the argument is Emery's been at that top top level but he hasn't brought back the top top trophies whereas the Big Dick Energy they haven't been at that top level yet so we don't know if they can or can't do it Do you think he's brought back the highest trophy possible at his level?
1:43:47No because he's managed to Arsenal
1:43:49Reev:he's been at PSG Yeah who were in the Europa League at the time Where'd he finish with Arsenal? I'm on about No no no PSG But conversely he's been in the Champions League with Villa He's been in the Champions League Do you know what I mean? I thought he was at the Champions League Like he's been in the competition Yeah he's in the Champions League with PSG He's a Champions League with PSG. Yeah, yeah. So he has competed at the top. Who's got a point? Well, I remember he did very poorly, didn't he? That's why the fucking... Because he came into a strong side as well. What was their team at the time?
1:44:16Reev:Vinifed did all right last year. Everyone's fouled at PSG other than... He's won seven trophies at PSG. Yeah, but... What are the trophies, Theo? Ligue, Coupe de France twice, Coupe de la Ligue twice, and Trophy de Champions. Was he a success at Arsenal? You're on everything. Was he a success at Arsenal in your opinion? That's like saying you're a shagger in a bottle. And was he a success at PSG? No And that is the top level Those are two top level jobs And he hasn't been a success Wait I think he was A success at PSG Really? Their main goal Would have been to Come on To win The cup and league With PSG Isn't Come on Isn't that just expected You were laughing At Lewandowski and Muller before That's a joke No Come on You didn't even let that go From the start of the show No man I just remember He said he's got it in view Did I?
1:45:03Weird I'm just holding it I know you don't believe that argument, but you're just making it. That M-Rays of World Class Magic? No, no, no. About him being a successor PSG. I know you don't think that. I don't think it was great. Also, we don't need to be so mean. We just have different opinions, guys. I didn't say anything mean. He's been calling you bald. Do you remember him at PSG? When have I said that? What a second of all. I said it like an hour ago now with friends.
1:45:31Reev:Sorry. Sorry, Baldy. Did he sign? Kellen Moulin well anyway did he win a French Supercorp did he sign yeah yeah yeah Mbappe I don't know right the tier list is complete guys if you think it was correct or if you disagree with any of the positions let us know we no longer have it on screen so I can't run through the managers in the tiers but hopefully you enjoyed the fun and thanks so much guys for watching make sure you rate us five stars on Apple Podcasts on Spotify and subscribe for great content you stink yes you made it to the end well done you And if you haven't already, hit the follow button.
