In short
Pitchside discusses heated opinions on England manager Thomas Tuchel, including his comments about England fans not singing enough, and debates who England can “live without” in major tournaments (Pickford vs Kane). They then rank Premier League clubs by “best fans,” arguing over criteria like matchday atmosphere, social media, and loyalty/glory-hunting. They also briefly react to Jason Cundy controversy.
Guests (hosts)
Reeve, Thea Baker, Tom Garrett (no other guests named in the transcript).
Guest backgrounds (from episode context)
They are football fans/pundit-style hosts discussing Premier League and England matches; one host references being a West Brom “professional” (as a joke/bit) and multiple hosts claim personal stadium attendance (e.g., Villa Park, Molineux, Emirates, Etihad, Anfield).
Key claims
- Tuchel’s criticism of England fans is “distasteful” and “missed the mark,” especially for a low-stakes friendly with expensive tickets and limited diehard turnout.
- England’s “floor” in tournaments is higher with Southgate, but Tuchel offers higher “ceiling” in big moments.
- Jordan Pickford is essential to confidence/command, but some argue England could still win without him; Harry Kane is seen as the bigger drop-off.
- Fan-ranking: Spurs are argued as among the worst; Newcastle and Everton are argued as among the best; debates include empty seats, away support, and “ultra” sections.
Notable examples
- England vs Wales friendly atmosphere; Wales “out-sung” England.
- Euros examples: England reaching the final with key moments (e.g., Watkins vs Holland).
- Stadium attendance arguments: Newcastle championship crowds (~36,000/43,000) vs Sunderland/others; protests affecting turnout.
- Specific fan-base examples: Spurs chants (“gimme gimme gimme”), Chelsea/Arsenal “ultra” sections, West Ham half-empty excuses, Sunderland “Mexico” niche reference.

Welcome back to the greatest show on earth, ladies and gentlemen. Not only is Pitchside the biggest football show that doesn't have ex-professionals on it in the UK. Very good. He's D1 superstar That's a bit offensive That's very true I take that back to you West Brom Wunder 18 Ex-Premier League West Brom Professional You could have signed For a Greek second division team Have you never thought about that We're actually the biggest Football show in the UK That doesn't have Gary Lineker or Gary Neville on it Specifically those two people Or any Garry's Or any Garry's actually If you call Gary And you want to come on Or Greg Or Terry It's international break guys Anyone watch any footy I watched the England game I watched the American You watched the England game?
1:04No, I watched the highlights. We were busy on the actual night of the game, weren't we? Well, Tushel gave you a good telling off, didn't he? Oh, because you were silent. Quiet, boy. You need a shout-out. Quiet, quiet. Yeah, no. No, we were busy filming something else. Don't make it sound like we're filming a porn house, aren't we? That's really weird. Kind of ended up being... I'm sorry. On Tushel, by the way, maybe if you don't put these friendlies in the same stadium every single week and actually bring it to fans who aren't used to watching England play, you'll get more of a reaction for a bog standard normal game that means nothing so you're saying England shouldn't play their home games at Wembley I'm saying two around the country England's a whole country like a circus yeah for a friendly game that's not even a bad idea for a friendly game why don't you go up north yeah Wembley wasn't built and then you'll have fans who are more appreciative and excited to see they have done it also in the last few years like they played when we lost to Hungary that was at the Molineux bring it around we have done the odd one but I do think it's a good point a Thursday night in October and a friendly against Wales, you're not going to get diehard England fans.
2:03Also, Wales didn't give a shit because they got a big game against Belgium tonight. Wales did give a shit. All they spoke about since the game is we out-sung England. Well fucking done. It's your World Cup final. We don't give a fuck about Wales. The game was dead in 20 minutes as well. So what do you really expect from the crowd? That's another thing. His argument, he was actually arguing against himself without realising. Yeah, yeah. We're so good. We were brilliant so the crowd should be up. But actually, We all know when you're at a game and it goes 3-0, you're not really... There's no jeopardy in the game.
2:35There's nothing to really chance about. There's no jeopardy going into it anyway. Well, exactly, because Wales are shit. Double no jeopardy, eh? I do think he's just missed the mark a bit here. If this would have been like a qualifier or a game at the World Cup and it was like that, I can understand, but it never will be. And all you're really doing is having a go at people who... Paying fans. Do you know how expensive it is to go to an England game? Paying fans. And he's moaning about the atmosphere. for a fucking friendly. The more I've thought about it, the more I want to fight him. Well, Tom, do you think Tuchel is stepping out of line?
3:06I just think... Get back in line. I just think... I understand... Stepping out of line. He's the boss. I understand his point and I kind of agree with him, but I just think he's completely missed. I don't think it needed to be said. Yeah. I think once you start having a dig at fans, it's a bit... What are you actually... What's he trying to achieve here? Especially when you're a fucking German coming into the English fucking national team, right? You're already an outsider, you fucker. We'll sing when we want to sing. Contextually, it's just a bit distasteful, isn't it? And England, we are known as some of the best fans in the world.
3:40Yeah, that is true. Too much, actually. Most of those people at the Wales game would have been like family. That's it. It's a lot of kids and families. Or like tourists. It's not a big fucking game for England, that. I just... And that's what I mean, like a game like that where it's like, if you brought that to a different stadium, I think there would be more excitement and stuff. because you're not used to seeing it. You are right. I think when I was younger, the first time I've seen England was when you got us a ticket in Wembley. I can only remember my dad and brother going once in St. James Park.
4:08They never came up. So it's like, I would have been buzzing to have seen it. They played at Borough as well back in the day. That's probably where they see it, but that's what I mean. They actually live in my life, aren't they? But it's like, if they brought it up, there'd be so many people that won't see England play until they grow up as adults who could have seen it. To afford going to Wembley. Especially if they're from the north. Yeah, it doesn't even matter if you live in, I don't know, fucking Kent. Like, not that far from London. It's still so expensive and long on a Thursday night. The game won't finish like 10.5.10.
4:36Exactly. So you've got to leave early to get the train. You're out of touch, mate. Rear it in? Yeah. I just think, I don't want to get on his back, but I just think he's missed the mark a bit. We'll accept an apology. Yeah, a personal apology. So he's got to apologise. Yeah. Apologise. Sing the anthem. Why don't you go manage your own fucking national team? Did he sing the anthem? We might need him. He might win us the World Cup. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Mate, I'm fine with him being the manager. If he wins us the World Cup, does he get citizenship? No. I genuinely have no issue with being the manager.
5:07I think he's our best chance. He's our best chance of winning. Do you think he's our best chance, really? Yeah, I think he's... I know everyone's saying it's not pretty football, but not conceding. He's coming in as a winner. He's coming in as a proven winner, and clearly this whole trajectory we've been on hasn't been enough. It is not to make it Arsenal. I'm not taking a dig. but it is kind of like the Arsenal dilemma where you have a successful manager who's got you really far. Yeah, now you just need someone to get you over the line. By the way, that is... He's not even had a chance to prove it.
5:37He's getting angry. I know what you're saying. Southgate is literally that. Yeah, Southgate's Arteta. Yeah, Southgate's Arteta. I think it's not going to be too cool, that. So how could you go on that? Southgate is Arteta, but we've chosen to leap. Yeah, England have gone, look, Southgate. Southgate, you've given us... I was like, we're whatever. No. So England, the FI have gone, look, Southgate, you're giving us the best years of our lives thank you so much but we need someone to get us over the line we need a winner now that's what the Arsenal board should do to our test isn't that to be decided well yeah isn't that to be decided at a later date though like we don't know if Tuchel's going to win but we rolled the dice we're not yeah this is what I'm saying we took the risk it's not certain if Arsenal did it either that's what I'm saying I think we all agree though we have more of a chance of winning a final with Tuchel than Southgate exactly I think you'll go for it as great as but I would argue Southgate got the country behind the team I'd put more money this is going to sound crazy so hear me out shock Tom sounded crazy in the last few weeks I'd be more confident of Southgate definitely getting us to the latter stages than Tuchel but in the big moments in the big games I'd rather have Tuchel I think I agree I think Southgate's more what's the word I'm looking for like a short definite yeah to a certain point yes yeah yeah he's got a higher floor in a tournament I don't think we will but it wouldn't shock me if we went out in the groups with Tuchel for some reason I don't know why the groups it would that would shock me with our team no I just mean so I think at a certain point there's a level of standard in English football that actually it doesn't matter what manager you have you should still get out of the fucking room sorry it's okay I wouldn't be I would be shocked if we went out in the groups I just wouldn't be as shocked under Tuchel I feel like he's the type of manager where it could just all blow up whereas with Southgate I would never see that I think what's just like settled what's refreshing with Tuchel where Stusha could walk in and go, you're fucking English motherfuckers.
7:26Get out there and play. And then we lose 3-0. Yeah, yeah, like Mr. T. I don't agree with that at all. Well, it is actually Mr. T. I think after every game we've seen so far, it's just the complete opposite. But he just makes personality. We discussed about how he's calling out the English fans for not singing enough. Yeah. That directly translates to how he could treat the dressing room. You're not playing enough. I really like how he's willing to give other players sort of a look in. Like, it works for Southgate against Ghana and that sort of team atmosphere, having the same people. but I like how anyone can get a look in and anyone can miss out a little bit.
7:55Yeah, you wait till the World Cup, mate. What, Dan Byrne's going to start the World Cup? No, he's not. Don't you worry, he is. I feel like we are. Defensively, he is our problem there at the moment. We don't have the lever of centre-back with Gahey for his partner. I feel like he's so clearly now that... He's played. No, but Gahey is obviously our best centre-half. Dan Byrne's not going to start thinking of the World Cup. Even John Stones, will he get the game time this year? Will he stay injury-free? Is he the same centre-half? But that second centre-half is the issue for us. We need Carl Will back, really.
8:22or that would be but then isn't Gahey less sided as well? Gahey can play both can't he? Can he? Yeah. Well he plays in a three with a palace so he's only going to play in a two for England. Oh I don't know you know what these footballers are like these days different formations different everything. Surely come next June that position will be resolved don't know. Well who's to say it will be? What's the point of this conversation then? What is the answer to the conversation on that question? Oh he said will it be resolved I said No no I'm saying I was saying come next June you'd you'd like to hope you'd hope yeah but we can't say right now I mean it will be he'll know his best team what if someone gets injured last minute oh god that could happen to Gahey that could happen to that could happen to Mark Gahey and then we're having the same and then we're royally fucked Dan Byrne anyways Dan Byrne's not going to start for England mate he'll be there which is pretty good I think he will be there good character only because we have such lack of depth I think I think it's not the sexiest news but I feel like we've got some good players defensively I do who?
9:22Livermental, Lewis Hall. He's injured. Now, I think we've got, I don't think it's a weakness at all. First two being Newcastle first three. You don't think our defence is the weakness out of the team? Well, that's sort of like picking a weakness out of a three-course meal. I fucking love them all, but like if I have to choose two, yeah, I'll pick the starter and main. Pretty good analogy that, Lou, actually. Yeah, but like the dessert, I'll still have it if you're offering. Wait, so what's our weakest out of the lot? So the dessert. The defence. Surely the dessert's the forwards. But it's still, I prefer starter and main, me.
9:49Dessert's the fanciest, so it would be the forwards, wouldn't it? No, but desert is closer to defence, yeah. Yeah, because it can crumble. I will say... Oh, that's fucking cool. I will say... I would prefer us pretty soon to have a more set team. I still don't know who's going to play midfield. Yeah, that's been experimenting though, isn't it? I actually think... Is the old Bellingham thing... Is he sending a message to him or is it just because he was injured? Is it true about this? I think he's just injured getting him back into the thing. Have you not heard, apparently Bellingham spoke really rudely to his mum or something.
10:23Yeah, yeah. His own mum. To Tuchel's mum. Yeah, it's all kicking off. I said your mum to the manager in the dressing room. That's a paradox. No, the story is apparently Tuchel's mum was disgusted by the way Bellingham spoke or heard him speak or something along those lines. Yeah. So Tuchel's leaving him out because he doesn't want to be around as well. I think it's just the lack of game time, personally. For me, like, look, even if, ideally you want Bellingham there, but we don't need anyone in that midfield. because there's we do need Bellingham in the squad I disagree I feel like we need Bellingham in the squad I think I think we can win the World Cup without Bellingham or without Ford did you not see him in the Euros moments make the World Cup and the Euros without his bicycle kick we didn't get to the final yeah but don't get don't get me wrong I want Bellingham there I want Bellingham there but I think we I don't think there's one player in our team who we can't live without except Harry Kidd Declan Rice you're saying you're saying starting at Evan Weiss taking Jude in the squad is beneficial Yeah, but like since, yeah, starting level wise, we have enough depth around there to be able to get by.
11:22We have, no, England, there are multiple players who if England don't have, we are in trouble. I think Harry Kane and Declan Rice are fair. And Pickford. I don't think we're in trouble without Pickford. Without Jordan Pickford, England are a far worse team. Agreed. I think we can easily win the tournament without Pickford still. I think that's one of the dumbest things you've ever said. Easily win. We won't easily win it anyway. No, no, no. I said we easily put it. I think we still are easily up, Sean. Theo said in the World Cup being won by moments he's probably provided the most moments over the last four or five that's what we talk about we're talking about all these moments we still haven't won anything he's got us in a position he's we sounded like Arsenal stop talking stop talking Lewis I would say it's still better to be in the final in the semi-final than crashing out in the quarters or group stage you do realise do you remember when England like crashed out like all the tournaments no but he doesn't believe that he says it's no no No, that's not what I'm saying.
12:16Do you remember playing Iceland? I'm saying we've got very good goals. Do you remember how dire that was? Do you remember how dire it was? You would rather that just happens every year. I'm saying we have about four really good keepers. Pickford's obviously the best, especially for England. But we have four good keepers. Yes, we do. We have decent backup. He is pretty essential to how well we've performed in recent years. He's an England legend. I agree. Pickford is an England legend. But also, you're saying that no other keeper compares. No, no, no. They don't. The point is removing him from the equation makes the psyche of the squad way worse.
12:48Maybe so. That might be a fair point. That might be a fair point. The defenders play differently knowing that there's a different keeper behind them. But I don't... There's so many reasons. But I don't think we... It's like... If England comes in injured, I don't think it's like, oh, we can't live without him. I don't think that's like losing Harry Kane where there's not really a second choice. You see a much larger drop-off than you were expecting. In your opinion, in the last fucking 10 years, who has been England's sort of like most important player in tournaments, major tournaments? That's a good question I would argue It's Jordan Pickford He's got to be Because he's been in All of them And he's been the one McGuire's up there Yeah I feel like you sort of Misinterpreted my argument But that's my point I'm just saying If you're the most Important player It's not about the drop off A level of skills But how he commands The whole England team The confidence he fulfills Knowing that someone's Got this tournament experience Which counts for so much In these major tournaments That fills the rest Of the team's confidence Would you sooner Lose Pickford or Kane?
13:40It'd be You'd lose Pickford Because the drop off From Kane to the second choice is far bigger. That's what I'm saying about Pickford. He's definitely the number one and he's perfect and what you said, yes. No one's denied that though. What I'm saying is the disparity in ability to the other keepers isn't as large. We've been pedantic here though. No one's been pedantic. That's all I'm saying about Pickford. I think we can survive without him. It'd be a huge loss but without Kane, I think we have zero chance. That's silly. I don't think there's someone who's going to come in and reliably leave the line.
14:08We were literally better in the Euros when he obviously wasn't fit. We literally got to the final pretty much without him. But now the form is in right now. It's a joke. What do you mean no? I think with Harry Kane... No, what do you mean no? What do you mean no? You need Harry Kane, man. Who are you going to start up front? We got to the final of the Euros pretty much without him. Who did we play in that build-up? Watkins scored the last... Watkins scored the winner against Holland. Yeah, it was a good point. Equaliser. No, was it winner? No, it was winner. Winner, yeah. 2-1 winner. I was there.
14:34Fuck. I will say that that is an issue. In the Euros. In the Euros. So can we live without him? I don't think so. Coming into Tottenham. I don't think so. Tom, he's forgetting that. No, because you're talking about a different Oli Watkins. You're talking about, like, footballs went on. Harry Kane's in the absolute form of his life right now. Oli Watkins isn't looking at his best. Tony's out in Saudi. It's a different playing field now to what we were before. As I mentioned, during the Euros, you had Watkins who was playing well. Tony was in the Premier League playing well. I thought you said the tournament's out in Saudi.
15:02I was like, what? Right now, the drop-off from our strikers is pretty, it's not looking great. You need Watkins to start firing. Like, would you take Ivan Tony? No. He's wanting a law move to England, apparently. For the World Cup. For the World Cup, of course. Man Utters. Really? What, in January? Liam De Lapp. Liam De Lapp will be in the squad with a high chance, right? If he's fit. When's he back? Don't know, but it was a hamstring, wasn't it? I don't know. You'd want him to be playing some footy, don't you, really? Yeah, we've got a lot of options, but I think he needs to sort out who he's going to be starting ASAP.
15:32Adam Morton needs to be in the squad as well. Too many good players, though. That's the issue here. That is not an issue. Too many good players. We should get rid of more players. More of a good issue to have. He seems to really like Anderson, doesn't he? Who doesn't? He's fucking phenomenal. Yeah, hard worker. Yeah. It's going to be harsh to just pin him down to that. That team of the season thing. That gives you managerial port it straight off the bat. Yeah, you called it. Three years ago. I called it. I was three years early, but now I'm there. Oh, yeah? He's not going to be in the team of the season.
16:01He's up there, though. You shouldn't do this. Okay, guys, we're doing it. Obviously, speaking of quiet stadiums, We thought we'd rank Premier League clubs by the best fans. Oh my God, how slow are you introing this? You are in a bad mood, aren't you? I'm really out of here. Ranking Premier League clubs by the best fans. Yeah. I'm pretty sure no one's going to get annoyed at this. Because football fans don't tend to be angry. Also, you can put them wherever you want. It's your opinion, right? Y 'all going to do grit. I've got top four guys and that's it I forgot to give a one that's interesting what do you mean I was filming at 9am this morning so I didn't have time to finish it we've just been sat here for half hour before the show and I'll do the next thing I'm just double checking it you gotta do it bro I will do it no you're gonna wait you're gonna go first I'll go first alright so how do you know how are you gonna do that without having the list you're gonna have the table up innit yeah I've got the table I know obviously I know but you'll forget which I'll wait oh okay we're all gonna pick different rankings anyway because we're based on different things also I can't be right or wrong in this list you can't be right or wrong I'm not saying that but I'm actually saying how you'll struggle to do it just visually if you want to put Spurs bottom maybe you can we have to take this a pinch of salt because no we haven't been well three of us except from Stone Island here haven't been to all the stadiums alright so maybe we are wrong fuck off I haven't been to all of them we're not wrong this also doesn't necessarily just imply like at the ground fans are on social media as well I base mine a lot on the ground like I mean yeah mate if on social media I'd be used with me across the board yeah but how can a team be how can he have a better I feel like what defines a better fan online yeah I feel like that would be looking at the worst for example I would have had Newcastle higher but I met Lewis Bowden I think that's that's silly that's exactly what was that's a bad idea you can happily do that I think that's silly I don't class that as the fun bit I've got a couple teams that really fucking low down because they were so jarring growing up with.
18:08Oh my God, they were the worst. Yeah, mate, it's your 20. I mean, that isn't how I'm doing it. I think the real fan, the best representation of the fan base is like when you watch the matches and how they are, yeah, and seeing that. Yeah. Especially because that'll mark Arsenal downloads because you're, but they're all kids, but some of your fans on Twitter are just ridiculous. Yeah, but they're all kids so you can't base it on them. You can absolutely put them lower if that's what you think. Nah, because they aren't proper fans. They're just fucking like... Go on then, Theo. Kick us off. So, I'm missing a few teams here, but in 20, I've got Spurs.
18:42Yay! Can I ask why? Oh, they're just pretty, pretty, shit fans really, aren't they? What's that based on? Shit club. No, you said shit fans. Shit stadium, shit fans, shit chants. We have quite good chants. What was the Kulu one again? I can't remember. You know it. Well, it's based on the EZAP one, isn't it? Or the other way around? Yeah, fuck that guy. Gimme, gimme, gimme. Yeah. I actually have done Spurs in 20s Why? He needs to make up for him celebrating the Spurs guy last week That's true I was going to write Kudos So you've just done this purely We do it however we want man Are you telling me I'm wrong?
19:21Are you telling my opinion's wrong? Are you heart apart do you think Spurs are the worst fans in the league? I had them in 7th and I changed it Because I know how the shows work I think that's fair I think Spurs are pretty unanimous I think most people would say they're minimum top five, six Spence fans in the league or 20th it's not unanimous though because I disagree yeah I meant outside of you two no fair enough no in 19 I've got Chelsea fans so honestly so jarring I swear to God they are worse I grew up with Chelsea fans oh my god they were just horrendous they actually were I couldn't stand it yeah Oh yeah, many Chelsea fans in Leicester, was there?
20:05Yeah I'm south, no one supports Eastbourne Town There's plenty of Chelsea fans from where I'm from Not where I'm from Specific individuals, yeah I can't believe you're basing this off just a few people you grew up with Are you really that rattled? Are they living that rent-free in your head? Yes Fair enough, man 18, I've got Wolves fans Oh, they're the worst The Wolves fan right there 17 17 I got Brighton fans What? Friendly fire Friendly fire That's true I'll tell you why Because up until They got promoted In the championship None of them were Brighton fans Ah You're glory hunters Right You're Dawn stars Yeah That's true No that's absolutely true How are you not a glory hunter I never supported Brighton I've always supported Arsenal Oh Because I was a glory hunter By the way When your family supports a club You're still But you're all glory supporters.
21:03You're all glory hunters. So every single person that supports the club is a glory hunter? No. Everyone in your family is. So everyone in fucking Asia who supports Arsenal is glory hunters? Everyone in what? Anyone who isn't inside North London is a glory hunter. They are glory hunters, yeah. They will be glory hunters because they've chosen Arsenal. They haven't chosen fucking walls. The reason why they support Arsenal across the other side of the world is because Arsenal are pretty good. Yeah, because the glory fans. Why didn't you support fucking Brentford growing up? Because my brother didn't support Brentford.
21:31Why didn't your brother support Brentford? I don't know. You know why? You know exactly why? Probably Cheyron Rio, I guess. Because Arsenal were brilliant. Yeah, he's a glory hunter. There's no shame in it. Or there is, but just be honest. It's more... I will die on this hill that if you grow up as an Arsenal fan and then you change to Brighton fans because they get promoted to the championship, that's more being a glory hunter. No, it's not. Because at least you've got back. At least you've realised your mistakes and you've actually supported... I knew someone who sport Chelsea and went to Newcastle.
22:01What did you say? I knew someone who went to Chelsea and they went Newcastle pre-takeover to be fair but he just grew up he didn't like football that much younger A friend of mine grew up a Man United fan he then changed to Chelsea and now guess what he is?
22:22No, he's Newcastle Is he from Newcastle? No Sorry, stop trying to deflect away the fact your family are all dirty glory hunting bastards. That's going to hurt his neck as well. He can't even laugh anymore. Oh, my neck. That was a car. It is glory hunting. Yeah, it was. It's okay to admit that. It's crazy how much I live for Brentford in your head, but anyway. 16. I've got Brentford. Yeah, just like just a bit like, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's high for them. The Buzzy Bees. The Buzzy Bees? How the Buzzy Bees? Sorry, I thought there was a prediction, Sean. You got buzzed by the Buzzy Bees? Come on, Ori, because this is taking forever.
23:0715th, I've got Villa fans. Jesus. Why? That is fucking harsh. Why? Why is that? A load of Villa fans growing up, was there? Rambo, you annoyed you? Nah, just like... I think Villa were good fans. Villa Park is like... No, wait, wait, no, that's a good explanation. Can you continue that? Just like... Ooh. Ooh. Ooh. Ooh. Ooh. Ooh. Ooh. Ooh. Ooh. Ooh. Aston Villa Your club is To be fair The only Villa fan I know Actually just like Gives me loads of clothes Oh he does as well mate That is so rude But Villa Park's A fucking unreal crowd When it gets going mate That's really loud When? It's quite often Nah you don't know You've never been mate Can I ask you a question I go to Villa Park every week Have you ever been to Villa Park?
23:52All the time mate Everyone 14th Obviously Sunderland That's so low oh really? do what you want mate don't make sure it's your fucking list
24:07it's always empty mate especially when they're down in league one they went to league one as well oh shit it's all fucking hell yeah you know yeah you were there weren't you in you were the one we're not taking that that long ago they was in league one yeah yes we was there they all disappeared then didn't they? where'd they go? yeah I agree with your opinion I agree The next one 13th we've got Palace What the fuck Jesus steel What about Seles Park And all the fucking Banging on the rack No we're doing that They're away Supports fucking We're up to 12 now I should put Palace Where they should be In the Premier League Yeah so in 12th I've got Burnley That's high I think Yeah I forgot that In 11th I've got Nottingham Forest Oh wait shit I think that's laws Fuck you can't change it Oh no Why don't you just do Your list Now there's a team That I should have He is doing it Why don't you just Read them all out You're going to have To keep going Yeah well in 10th I got Fulham Fulham's better than Nottingham Forest guys Yeah I should have I should have put Fulham a bit lower than that And Palace Jesus Jesus Fulham have a better Support than Palace Honestly this is Such a bad list In 9 I've got West Ham Irons Right Even though their Stallion's been half Empty all season Well it's not their fault Is it They don't want to be there Yeah I don't hold that Against them too much Because their And also their fans are good But it's not their fault They've got a shit stadium Berlin ground West Ham would have been high Wouldn't it Yeah Have you seen the atmosphere There you can't even see the pitch Why do West Ham get excuses For half filling and signing But others don't Because we're allowed We're giving them Because I'm saying Their stadium's so fucking shit You can't even find it Swank Have you ever been Yeah You watched me get Stretched off Remember We've been together You put shit on Fucking hell Sorry Who do I put above Palace Burnley there Right moving into the top Don't write it for you Moving into the top nine now.
25:58How do you manage to drag it out this long? I don't know. Just name it. In nine, I've got Everton. Fucking hell. That means in eighth, I've got Bournemouth. What is the point of this list? In seven, I've got Arsenal. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I'll tell you why. Because... No one cares. Just carry on.
26:22The list is just pointless. Read the maps so we can carry on. a good fucking app this. In five, I've got Chelsea. You've already had them in 19. You've already had them in fucking 19. Right, Louis, see us. That is insane. I missed out here. Sorry, in six, I've got Man City. You've already done six. Yeah, who did I say? No one. Oh my God, you were on fifth, Josh. Yeah, I went from seventh to fifth. I missed out sixth, So, were Chelsea fifth? I'm sorry if you're listening to this. Seventh Arsenal, sixth Man City, which means fifth is going to be Oh my god Lewis do yours You think City Have a better support Than Arsenal He doesn't even know What he's on about Who have I missed out You think City Have a better support Than Arsenal I haven't missed out anyone Well no one's in fifth Apparently Fourth Fourth is Leeds United I think the top four Is pretty good actually Third is Man United What about when Leeds Had half empty stadiums In Championship and League One What's their excuse Leeds Third is Man United Second is Liverpool And first is Newcastle United Yeah, thank you.
27:26Everton, yeah, Everton went fifth. No, Everton went ninth. He had Everton in ninth. He didn't miss out at night. He didn't miss out at night. He just didn't know what happened. Lewis, go on. That's a great list. It's fucking, that's horrendous beyond belief. For so many reasons. I'm glad I get a follow though, because mine might be good. You only got noisy for one. Okay, well, tell me the team I missed out. I don't know. I can't even, no, I can't work it out. Please, you can't have a go at me then, because no one can work it out. I wasn't having a go. I think it was really late. Well, it's a bit hard to follow, Theo.
27:50I'm not going to lie Nick Arsenal's first let us know in the comments 20th I've got Brentford hang on a second this is like a paradox where's the fucking missing team honestly Theo we do not need to spend more time on them wrong we don't need to spend can we just let Lewis do his list you just counted them wrong you didn't have one 20th Brentford 19th Burnley 18th Bournemouth I just want to see a list 17th Brighton 16th Fulham 15th quite low these Chelsea I think Fulham's got better support than Brighton yeah I think they're really good oh yeah I do sorry I don't know why I agree actually I have the same list 14th Wolves 13th Sunderland 12th Arsenal don't shout at me do what you want mate my problem with Arsenal's is I just don't like the ultra section why didn't you say why because it's just like it seems manufactured really loud really loud and then just like quiet by definition aren't all ultra sections in fairness though they're giving it a go I half don't mind at least they're trying that shouldn't be a putt that should actually be a bonus I know but I feel like your fan base was acknowledged that the atmosphere has went down recently there's a lot of big games the ground's fucking popping mate that's not a sign of a good fan base though big games every ground's going to be massive it's about the smaller games I remember going to North London Dive eight years ago silent the whole game that was eight years ago they're always good though Arsenal yeah 11th Tottenham 10th Man City Jesus 9th Man United I feel like this is hard I rate a lot of these fan bases so it's actually quite hard to interchange them if I'm honest Manchester United fans are like top three their home support is not that great we're rating the best fan bases it's all tourists they're all crying as if they're hard done by when it's like we spent another billion 8th West Ham 7th Palace 6th Villa 5th Liverpool fourth Forrest third Everton second Leeds first Newcastle I didn't see that coming I agree with you I honestly didn't see that coming I feel like we all should I don't think he will but I think we all should have Newcastle first Why should we all have Newcastle first?
Read the full transcript
30:02Why do you think outright best fans in the league? I think they're just mental a little bit We are really good from like Here you are But so are like 10 others With War Flags being fan funded and everything they do is really cool Even Tony Cruz said he saw the atmosphere he's now our biggest fan well when Barcelona came I said the other day like they were talking to the players Rashford whoever who else what the hell are you on about the Barcelona players who had played in the Premier League had said yeah Newcastle's the best fans and like that's that's all literally just came out that's Arsenal it's tough place to go yeah 20th got Spurs 19th Brentford 18th Brighton 17th Bournemouth the Triple B's 16th Fulham 15th Burnley 14th Wolves I've been to the Molyneux so I can actually comment on that I think we've all got Wolves 14th 13th Manchester City and that is based off me going to the Champions League game and not being that impressed by the actual who?
30:59it was 6-0 7-0 and it was pretty light the light show was good the light show was good yeah but the general support I'm not can't say I'm a fan and also when they win the trouble they had like 15 people outside the ground so 13th Chelsea no that's not right 12th Chelsea 11th West Ham 10th Sunderland specifically Mexico Sunderland which you've come into contact with hmm that was a niche one there actually yeah you didn't really get that one you're getting hated by Mexicans from Sunderland I mean they've stopped now they've died out 9th Everton 8th Forest we've been to the City ground that was quite good wasn't it do you remember yep and they played City ironically I thought it was against Arsenal oh yes I actually took a penalty in half time 7th Villa 6th Newcastle was going to be high but I couldn't give you the credit, Lou.
31:50Fifth, Arsenal. Fourth, Leeds. But Newcastle's sixth. You said Newcastle's sixth? Did you just say Newcastle's sixth? Third, Premier League. Fucking hell, mate. Second Manchester United and first, Liverpool. Wait, who's above Newcastle? Arsenal, Leeds, Palace and... Arsenal are not fucking bad. Like, what the fuck are we doing here? I can't agree with you on that one. Arsenal above Newcastle. By the way, you're showing a stat of us getting... How many bellies do you see at the Emirates? I actually... Nil. What did you say? It depends if you're in the box. What did you just say? It's mental. What did you just say?
32:21I wouldn't see them from my box. Why? What makes you say that? They were originally in second and then Will said you can base it on the entire fan base and then I dropped them five places. No, that's a cop out. He's a great fan. He's a great fan. Oh, yeah, yeah. He's mental, but he's a great fan. I just couldn't. Yeah, Will's trying to get us to highlight when Newcastle won the championship when we had 36 ,000 there. You realise that's bigger than most stadiums in the championship. So? That's 36 ,000. The one that you're cherry picking out. What about 43 ,000? But Luke, when Bournemouth for the championship, they couldn't get any more than 10 ,000.
32:51No, there was 36 and 38. Yeah, and 43. Can we show them to the other games as well that he's not showing? Yeah, but it holds 52, doesn't it? Yeah. But like, this is still... That's the point. These are still very good attendances under what is the biggest low point of the club's recent history under terrible ownership. By the way, protests were going on. I don't know if it's at the same time where they're not showing up to games with protests. It's like, it's not really showing much context here. And even without that, it's a lot of times. How do you know about this time? No, but under... Again, you're not the one to make those jokes because you are going...
33:25Lewis, you hit Sunderland with that saying back that they didn't fill their stadium. But you didn't... Well, let's have a look at Sunderland's attendance. No, no, no. See, this is where you're missing the point. You have... You have a bit... It goes on the percentage of empty seats, doesn't it? So you might have a bigger attendance because you've got a bigger stadium. So you obviously can get more people in it, but you've still got 10 ,000 people not there. Not that one bigger either. It's only like 6 ,000 difference. I feel like it's very weird to criticise a team for getting like 43 ,000 attendance in the championship.
33:59I'm not criticising the Newcastle fan base. It's more just a direct... No, I'm saying this argument's reaching. No, it's really not. It's actually quite simple because... No, so you don't think 43 ,000 in the championship under that time of the club with Mike Ashley, with all the protests going on, you don't think that's a good... I think it's a decent attendance. My point is, your claim of being this massive fucking club and all this... But if Man United went down, they'd sell out every week. If Liverpool went down, they'd sell out every week. If Man City used to sell out in the Championship.
34:25But you take digs at Sunderland saying they didn't sell out, but neither did you. Luke, you've had your pants down there. Actually, he made those digs. I just said I agree with him. What did I say? Why bring me into this? You have said that multiple times. Will made it. Will made it, not me. Will thinks you should be... I'm going to say that because the same way that you'll throw digs at Wolves, you'll just throw stupid digs at Wolves. No, but Wolves... Oh, so you're doing it for no reason? No, that's not true. I openly say Wolves have more fans than it is in a better... I'm confused where we are.
34:54Where do you have Newcastle on your list? He's not done it yet. Okay, I'm... We'll circle back around because, like... I'm confused what we're arguing about here. No, no, no. You can dig me out because mine is entirely a gender. Yeah, no, we're pulling up like championship attendances under, like, the biggest low point of the club where people are literally... I think that's because Will wanted to put you a lot lower. That's the reason. Yeah, yeah, balancing it out. He's just balancing it because you can't... You always throw that at Sunderland, but Von Villa went down. They saw that every week.
35:21I know, but the thing is, we're going to agree on this list, I imagine. You can't just unanimously say that Newcastle are first. That's still a voice opinion. In my opinion, no. I'm saying he's most likely going to agree Newcastle are better fans than Sunderland. Opinion can't be wrong. So we're not arguing about anything. Yeah, so I don't know what we're arguing about. Well, until he says it, I don't know. No, he might not. I think we're beating around the bush here, lads. That's perfect. I just thought it was a good, that was quite interesting. I just feel like there's a little bit of context missing from what was happening at the club at that time.
35:47I'm still confused what team I've missed. You haven't missed a team. Well, I must have done. You've got 20 in there. No, but I haven't. Who's your top one then? Finish yours. I did finish. Oh, who's top? Liverpool. Liverpool. Mate, even there are, I think even Liverpool fans would say half their stadium. These fucking Tories, they've been priced out. Proper Liverpool fans actually being priced out. Does that not make it also more impressive at how good the atmosphere still is? It's not though. Anfield's a myth, mate, unless it's a big game. I've been there, I've been to Anfield so many times and it's, again, understandably, understandably, West Brom, I don't expect them to be fucking bouncing but it is silent.
36:27Like, don't get me wrong, yeah, big European nights here on the telly, yeah, it sounds loud. West Ham. I'll put West Ham in there though. I'll put them in fifth. Because we can't, I feel like, We can't just do this list based on who's got the most fans. No, I agree, I agree, I agree. And that would be a bit harsh. Anyway, okay, I've got Brentford last, Bournemouth 19th, 18th Fulham. Fulham's away support is fucking horrendous. Brighton 17th, 16th Burnley, 15th Palace. Palace have got a terrible away support. I don't think I've ever seen them sell out of the Hawthorns. Wolves 14th, 13th Forest, 12th Sunderland.
37:02Oh, that's a forest lot. You're basing this a lot on away fans in Hawthorns. right? And home fans. Yeah. I've been to pretty good stadiums. I know, I know, I know. You don't think Forrest is law there? How's that? Again, I remember Forrest in League One, half empty city ground. Now they're all back. I'm talking about winning the European Cup twice. Randy? Four off. 11th West Ham. I actually think West Ham and Everton I think are the most loyal Premier League fan bases because of the shit they do. non-stop shit. And they just fair play. See what Tony Bellew was doing about it. They still turn up, man.
37:33Hey. I got bullied out of a good stadium as well. Thanks, Theo. Up the irons. 10th, I've got Arsenal. 9th, I've got Liverpool. 9th? What? Yeah. By the way, this top nine, I wouldn't argue pretty much any order. They sell out every week. I'm right then. Don't matter then, is it? They sell out every week and they've all got great away support. 8th, I've got City. I think they're one of the best away sports in the country. And when I... Well, they've got fans everywhere. It's easy. what? I think City have got like the most support. Carry on, what were you going to say? Okay, when I used to get to the Etihad, it was loud and when I went to Main Road, it was loud.
38:15Maybe they're a victim of success. Yeah, I think nowadays it probably is but I haven't been there for fucking... I mean, Haaland scored five goals and everyone went... I haven't been there for like 10 years, it's hard for me to kind of... But anyway, Seven forgot Villa. I get worried about that, like if we start being able to spend all this money, like we become this like a city and it's like it doesn't feel that good anymore. I think you'll be all right You're in one-fled city. Yeah, because... I hope so. There's no surrounding. But I'm also worried about the whole tourism fans. I've seen TikTok.
38:42I don't think you need to worry about that, mate. No one's going to Newcastle, mate. I'm worried everyone's going to come see our bridges. God, shit. Whoa, don't make fun of the bridges. They're fucking class. How many you got? Kevin? I think seven or eight. Seven? Isn't that 12? You don't know how many bridges are in Newcastle? No bridges across time. I think it's seven or eight. And you've got the Angel. Seven forgot Villa. Like I said, when they was in the championship, sold out every week. and when Villa Park's rocking, it's fucking loud. Yeah. I've probably put Chelsea a bit higher, sixth.
39:08Sixth? Yeah, but their away support is amazing, honestly. Like Thomas. Their home support is quite quiet. You think they're better fans than Liverpool fans? Away support, yeah. I think that's crazy. Why? Because I think it. Fair enough. Fifth, I've got Spurs. Again, home and away. Just unbelievable. For a team that... Fucking... That is vile Have you ever been To a North London derby At Spurs Never Never at London Stadium I've not Fourth I've got Leeds Third I've got Actually that's a lie I have Alright Have you? I think so yeah I think I've looked it No you haven't Fourth I've got Leeds Third I've got Man United Second Newcastle I knew we couldn't Make it all the way And first I think Everton are the best Really?
39:54I just think How shit they are I've never seen them Not sell out at the Orthorns Goodison Park used to be loud as fuck they've now broke the record haven't they for the highest decibel in the new stadium that is true yeah for a team that doesn't do never achieve they're also right next to like the most successful club in the country pretty much they're all from Liverpool all their fans like I just think and they're the funniest fan base in the world just go on Twitter they have the greatest Premier League captain of all time as well yeah I just think for the like when what was it when he was on about our fucking number name where's the biggest in France so yeah I'll give it Everton as the best fan base but Newcastle are up there definitely do you know how many we got right
40:44yeah I'd say on this though I have a more you have a yeah you do 100 % you do a better what's the word not understanding but better well you got more research from it yeah no no Sam better what is it Weston? You've been to more ground You've got more experience You've been in the field Yeah, you've been a researcher Database Although I will say one thing Go on I'm playing a game What do you think the loudest stadium I've ever been in is Out of these Just one singular time I was like, this is the loudest thing I've ever experienced Emirates went deck and I scored the free kick No, it has to be a stadium It's a way where you'll be lured down And then closed And then closed Stanford Bridge Is that your guess?
41:30I don't know what's on Claw. It'd be somewhere in Lorde. Maybe Ellen Road. I was going to say... Ellen Road's up there. No, it's Sunderland. Oh, okay. Cameron Jones scored. Make it 4-0. And you went... And honestly, I think it's because their roof's so long and honestly, the noise, I was just like, this is the worst day of my fucking... Well, obviously, if you're a football fan, I'm sure you'll really like that episode. So make sure you drop a like and subscribe. We've got two more segments left. There's definitely not people in the comments now again. No way. How the fuck can you even say you don't even get to games, Theo?
42:01Please say it. No, because he's actually protected, though, because his was so shit. It's like they don't bother him. It's going to be like... True, actually. It was shit. He tried. I did, actually. And he had that list. Yeah. Look at you, Troy. Yeah, sorry. You've got to embrace it, man. Right, what's next? Are we finished? It's bottom. Fratton Park was decent. Fratton Park was very good, actually. Have you been there? Yeah, but I stuck behind a fucking pole. Yeah, the view is shit. So jarring. The view is shit. but fuck it. First away game went on North Island. What were you wearing in the box?
42:32North Island? North Island? North Central Island. Rory McIlroy. You should get it. Nah, it's like 12. Northern Ireland. We said North Central Island he went Rory McIlroy. Rory McIlroy. I was in a different vibe. Theo, he's been weird today. Stop being weird. Get that chair out of shop by the way. It looks shit. That's been in shop the whole day. Fuck's it. Just crept in on his own. there's been a guy painted in the corner yeah come on anyways guys speaking of obviously Jason Cundy he's been a bit of a bit of controversy recently by saying I think one of the dumbest things of all time he said Mickey Van De Ven is better than a half of a band now I'm going to argue that I think Jason Cundy may have lost the fucking clock he knows what he's doing he's very funny he knows what he's doing they all know what they're doing and talks about and they're very good at it Gabby's really good at it.
43:28He's fucking used to wire me up. I think Gabby like... Gabby Logan? And Alara. Good team. Good team. Simon Jordan's had me so riled up sometimes. I know he's trying to as well. Don't you wish you could just like talk the way he can talk? He's very articulate. It doesn't mean he knows much. Not sound like him, but it's like the way he can just like say words. You need to stop drinking fanners though. Yeah, but I feel like... I feel like I'd like Simon Jordan actually. I think he's quite good to listen to, but I think he often does that to sound more intelligent. Yeah, but that's why I wish I could do it.
43:58He is good. You do the opposite. He's willing to be combative. It's always funny when he's with Eddie Hearn and that. You're in this jockey. Obviously, Jason Cundey was a centre-half as well, so he has every right to talk about this. Was he a centre-half, couldn't he?
44:15I genuinely don't know. I genuinely don't know. I just put it in my phone right now. Yeah, I knew that. Yeah, it's nice. I threw that one out there and it landed. Hey, if you don't shoot, you don't score. so we're going to be naming our top 10 best centre-backs in the entire world now has anyone consulted with Stunt Pegg on this? I actually referenced that exact thing in my list as well I'll go first I don't know what you're about oh fuck's not you're going to give us the right answer wait wait wait but you don't actually know what we're about no mine I struggled a bit with this I think it's hard I started doing 10th and I was like surely there's better ones than this I think they were like European wise there's a few names I don't know I feel like the 10 is pretty set.
44:54I probably have very different ones to use. I think there's like seven is pretty set. But the order's hard. You know when the word world's included I start struggling. Yeah. Top seven. Okay, I've gone Zobani 10th. You don't know who that is, do you? Forgot about him. You spoke of Bournemouth and played for PSG. I forgot about him. I'm not high-fiving that fucking patronising fuck. You know No, you know Bournemouth, bro. It's a good point. It's a good point. Hey, give him some respect, man. I literally just did. How many ex-Bournemouth players you got in this list? Oh, good question. Should have two.
45:27Two, yeah. I don't know. You mean two if she says the barn? I actually went for the other one for PSG, so each to their own. Moving on. I haven't finished my list, have I? Oh, good boy. Keep going. Right, ninth. You're not going to like this one. I've got Canate. That makes me feel ill. I'm not ignoring, just because he had a few bad games this season, I still think he's quality. Eighth, I've got Pacho. There you go. Pacho Herrera. No, Willian Pacho. Anyone know? Anyone know the reference? Anyone know the reference? Yeah, from the fucking Mexican cartel series. Colombian. Sorry. You fucking racist.
46:01No, there was a Mexican one as well. Yeah, but Pacho Herrera was part of the Cali cartel. Ah, California cartel. No. Right, seventh. I've got Rudiger. Yeah. Oh, seventh. Seven. He's getting on a bit, isn't he? He is very good. He is good. The top six are very good here. No, but I think... Sixth, I've got Sabasi. Fuck Mate these are better than Sebasti Right now Wait have you got him higher? Fifth I've got Hoyssen How do you pronounce his name? Who knows Fourth I've got Gabriel Third I've got Bastoni Oh really? What do you think of Bastoni? I think he's an excellent stump pick Why do you think he's that good?
46:45Second I've got Saliba Interesting choice there Tom And first I've got Mickey Van Der Ven
46:54Just a V to V No, no A different way around No, I've got Van Dyke first Obviously I must admit though I did I was close to putting Romero in I think Romero's really underrated There we go Should we move on? If you've got Romero in your top 10 You're fucking mental Romero's quality I hand on heart I think he's the first Best centre-back in the Prem Listeners, get your pens and pencils out See which one of us Has the most right answers 10 Honourable mention He's in at 10 I have to put him in What do you mean Honourable mention? if he's 10th I used to I used to I hate when they do this it's not honourable he's destroying like themselves what do you mean they are you do it all the time for the exact when you always do honourable mentions why are we getting out of hand here saying that I am being a hypocrite because I just did say I wanted to put Romero in for the exact well what the fuck is this Tom just mentioned he started off shaky but he's probably going to go Madrid and he's still a good player it's Canate in at number 10 he's not going Madrid though is he he might no Gay he is we don't know how that's going to play out Gay's been arranged imagine Gay he goes Liverpool in the range.
47:50Bet you can't he goes instead of Gaye. I bet you Gaye does. He'll already be in range. I'll already spoken to him. How much? 20 quid. Oh, that's confident then, aren't you? Well, not everyone's fucking... Nine. Still very young. Obviously, he's got loads of time to develop. I know you guys are going to put him higher, but I would like more. Just say the fucking name. Sabasi. That's correct. The ones are going to break the table. If I could throw a table, I would. I think that's criminal. That's criminal. One next to him in eight have Hoyssen in the other side of La Liga. Seventh, because I think he's the fourth best centre-back in the Premier League, Christian Romero.
48:26Oh, you make me feel ill. That's not even... He is good, but I don't think he's better than Sabati or Hoyssen. I think what you're doing is you're accounting for how bad Spurs were last year. I don't think you realise how good Hausssen and Sabati are. I do. Well, I've watched Hausssen play an entire season at Bournemouth. I've seen a couple games with him already at Madrid. What's Sabati? I've watched him at Champions League. He's phenomenal. He's better than Romero. is better than Romero. Yeah, but the leadership... Is he still only 17? No, he's 19. He's 17. He's got 80 appearances at 19. He just makes things up.
48:57He just makes things up. Still 19 is pretty impressive. I don't think it's... Sabasi is amazing, I agree, and I do think he's better than Romero, but I don't think it's criminal to say Romero is better than Sabasi right now. We're both wrong. He's 19. He's 18. I did a... He's 18. Oh, shit. Oh, good research, mate. Yeah. Why have I got 19? You can't even read. Bro can't read. Sixth, I'm surprised you've not mentioned him already. Marquinhos. No. What's bad about that? Not anymore, mate. Marquinhos? About three years ago, maybe. I like Marquinhos. Just dropped a quadruple season. What are you on about?
49:35By not being their best defender? He's still a leader of the team. I think you could sneak him in at 10, but I wouldn't put him in six. All right. So have you not got Pacho in? No. Pacho was better than Marquinhos last season. for different reasons though Marquinhos is Marquinhos is the leader of that team I don't dispute that the same way Jordan Henderson was the leader at Liverpool you wouldn't put Jordan Henderson as like their best midfielder would you? you wouldn't stop no but I would still I would still include Marquinhos in that position I'm happy to disagree with you but that's where I put him I just don't think he's sixth fifth Rudiger fourth sorry Niamh Bastoni third because I think Gabriel's edged him over previous performances Saliba second Gabriel and then first Valjavon Duit that's a man that knows ball I think Gabriel is now better he's not I think he is I think he is I'm happy to I'm happy to die on the Gabriel Hill I think he's better than Saliba I agree with you I've got a big name in this but we'll just move on he makes less mistakes as well that's all I'll say 10th I anticipate shouting a hair but Sven Botman I actually think you're just doing it for clicks it's so bad you're now ruining the integrity of this show he doesn't even start for you yes he does Tom Fabian Charles is better Yes, he does.
50:46I thought he wasn't even starting. I thought Dan Burnham's power. He starts here. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I thought your best back four is Dan Burnham. By the way, that's a shame on all yous for the burst of laughter for Sven Bottman. I didn't laugh. This is like the Rodri effect. He's had one season out with a big injury last year. Before that, he was unbelievable. I thought your strongest back four is Chow and Burnham. And then Bottman. No, Chow and Burnham haven't partnered yet. I swear Chow and Burnham are keeping him out. Chow and Chow and Burnham are keeping him out for a while. Luke also Where were For a while they were Because That's how Eddie Al's Always been though They don't just start He always have to play you in They're now starting They won't move now Can I ask Where would you put Botman In terms of Premier League centre backs I think 4th 5th Who's above him You're going to find out In this list Botman's goal That's crazy I actually think The burst of laughter That came out of that Is mental I don't think he's top 20 I don't think he's top 20 You can disagree I think it's Mel I think he scrapes In a top 10 Premier League centre-back list, never mind top ten in the world.
51:48100%. I'm not even being disrespectful. This is the thing. I anticipate this. I honestly think, come January, once you see him, once you see him with another six months, once you see him with another six months of Prem football and Champions League, I think if we revisited this, you'd be like, fair enough. Luke, you think a guy that's played 40 games? That's why you used to see more of him. I already know the player he is. Luke, he's played 40 games in three years. Yes, he's had a massive injury. That doesn't make him a worse. And he's came back and he's been phenomenal, mate. Tenth in the world, though, man.
52:15come on he's been the question the question I had the question I had was do I think he's better than Canati and I said yes and that's why he's winning I do think he's better than Canati do you think do you think Botman would be linked to Real Madrid Botman has been linked away by the way away I'm sure he has been linked to Real Madrid anyways can you type in Botman transfer rumours please right now I'm sure it just came on Because we're going to be Offering him a new contract So is that who you I feel like you I feel like you I feel like you I feel like you I feel like you I feel like you I feel like you Like how good he is And you I can't type Exactly It's been linked to Sunderland Kick on news Sunderland No kick on the news Kick on Why are we It's not going to be on here It doesn't matter It's not going to be on here Wow Lou Wolves I would like I would like to Click news at the top that that is semi-biased.
53:13He's been linked to no one since 2002. Arsenal links? Get excited about that. Anyways, continuing my list. Ninth, I've got Romero. Eighth, I've got Hoyssen. Seventh, I've got Bastoni. I'm going to guess I'm going to shout it out for being too low. Well, Eve will, yeah. Kabarsi, next. Marquinhos. Fourth, Rudiger. Third, Gabriel. Second, Saliba. First, Van Dijk. Unanimous first. Do you think Bottman's better than like Paco? No there's definitely names That have been left out of here I didn't really think Did you say Hoisin I said Hoisin yeah I didn't say Zabrini though I forgot about Zabrini Which is a howler Which is quite Not an obvious one Well you could say it's obvious It's been very consistent Over the last five years For a certain club And got a big move this summer Go on and read your list Okay In ten I've got Mark Gahey Okay Oh yeah He's better than Bottman as well Yeah I disagree I don't think he's Better than Bottman no It really isn't A mental mental thing to say I just think he can't have been watching him.
54:12So you think he's fourth in the Premier League? Botman. Behind Van Dyke, Slieber and Gabriel, that's it. No, and Romero fifth. This is the only thing, you mustn't have watched him play. You can't have been watching him play. Why do we say that? We watch a load of Newcastle games with you. Also, Tom, we've only watched 12 games for him in the last three years. By the way, whenever Newcastle's on, we're not watching. It's on stream. I'm the one watching normally in those games. Oh, Gaslighting has intervened to be the only person that watches the games. Is that not true? No, it's not true. Jog here.
54:42It's not true. Last game we watched you told us you were pinning Arsenal back when you barely touched the ball. So what are you on about? I did pin him back for a couple of minutes. Ten I got to get heat. Nine I got Jonathan Tarr. I nearly had. He was unreal for Leverkusen. He stayed an extra year when he didn't have to. I think he's stiff though, I do. Not in that way. Fucking hell. Stiff idiot. He's been good at Bayern as well. Yeah, he has. He has. He has. He's up at McCartney. I don't know about Upp McCartney. I'm excited about him. Ova McCalvey is one of them. Whenever I watch him, he's shit.
55:11But everyone tells me he's amazing. I know exactly what you mean. It's like the DeLitt effect when he arrives. Eight, I got Pacho. Pacho. Seven, I got Halston. Six, I got Kulbasi. Five, I got Bastoni. Four, I got Rudiger. Third, Saliba. Yes. Second, Gabriel and first, Van Dijk. That's the list. I agree with the top three. I honestly think Gabriel is the best. I think he is. I think they're the best centre-back partnership in the world. Agree. Hands down. but I think Gabriel is the guy now. I think he is the guy. Really? Yeah, I really do. I don't agree with that. It's absolutely in touch your opinion, Tom, yeah.
55:45But I think it's close. What is so... You're passive aggressive there. Would any of those top 10 that we've just said probably one that's unanimous make it into a top 10 of 15 years? I think at least three of them do. Yeah, definitely. Some of them would, yeah. I think Saliba Gabriel van Dijk will do. Yeah, I think I agree. For sure. And Sabarsi may end up being one of... may end up being one of the best centre-backs of all time. Do you reckon Rudiger? Of course he could. Do you reckon... Why say that, though? You can argue he has the ceiling. What do you mean why say that? His ceiling's insane.
56:17He's doing enough to have the ceiling. He's 18 years old and he's Barcelona's best centre-back. He's now 18, actually. Yeah. Yeah, but... And his season last year was 17 years old. Normally defenders get better with age. Yes. Yeah. It's not like an exciting young forward on the scene. He's a fucking centre-back for Barcelona at 18. What are you doing when you're 18? Shagging. There you go. I feel like he probably is as well to be fair I was eating fucking McDonald's out of a bin what has that got to do with the conversation that is not related everything alright at home when you're 18 what you're so weird no but I mean you've just basically said oh he could potentially be better than like Franz Beckenbauer or he could or Maldini he could of course he could gotta start somewhere yes I know but you could that's not crazy to say he could I know he could so you agree so you agree so he agrees Do you reckon he'd get better than Van Dijk?
57:07That's an interesting one. No. I feel like those... They could, but I'm asking you. He'll probably be like a PK. No, fucking... They have a level. I feel like these Barca centre-halves have a ceiling. Purely because of the way they play and the way they're brought up. I feel like they're always... They're always defensively... PK's bloody class, though. Yeah, 100%. No, he's not. No, Barca Barca's better. Does Rudiger make it into that top 10 of 15 years? For his pure mental antics, maybe Well, I don't know Who would the top 10 be like 15 years ago What year was that? What year? 2010? So you're looking at Terry, Rio Pique, Puyol Colatore
57:52Who was Leading King, man? Carragher, Chiellini Chiellini That's Juventus Oh yeah Canovar Oh no, he was done by then though, wasn't he? Banovic Carvalho no he's a bit old as well we're going back to 2000 either way though Marcelo just not Samba Chris Samba Sven Botman's mental you know he really isn't he is a fantastic player no one denies he's not a good player but I'm sure you do I genuinely I agree by the way I agree he's not top 10 I've missed out names there I genuinely
58:28Pepe don't know if I'd have put him in a top 10 prim list I think that's really mental Pepe's still good you reckon I think Rudiger's better than Pepe. They're both a bit mental, aren't they? They're quite similar, actually. Yeah, Chiellini. Isn't that Bonucci in that photo? It is Bonucci, yeah. I know it's a bit of... That is Bonucci. That's proper journalism, that is. Jesus. Where do you think, by the way, Sergio Ramos ranks in terms of all-time best? He's up there, isn't he? Top 10. All-time best what? Top 5? All-time best... What are we talking? You've also got to remember like... Oh, top 5.
59:02Top five. Really? Beckenbauer. Maldini, Ramos. Nesta. You talk about ability and... You've got to like... Who's the fucking... Italian. Who's the Italian? Yeah. Milan, centre-half. Barrazi. Marco Barrazi. It's different eras, like... I think Ramos is... Ramos is number one of this generation. Do you not agree? I don't agree. Which position? Which position on the pitch do you think has changed the most in the last 15 years? Do you know what I mean? like do you think centre-backs obviously play out of the back a lot more now but do you think overall I think centre-half or goalie or goalie that's a good shout out yeah I guess outfield because goalie's quite I think centre-half's a good shout actually because they everywhere else on the pitch is so different but overall if you are you could slide any one of those centre-backs into a team now and they would still be able to I think full-back your job was to defend and overlap when do you ever see that now it's always coming inside playing almost that's like the top teams you're on about yeah but it's the same they have to evolve I think centre-half I mean fucking Saul Campbell would have like he'd do his ACL trying to zing the 30 odd pass wouldn't he like which position do you think has changed the most then you just said that no I said the least which one's changed the least then sorry winger winger but even now they've become like inside I don't know nah they're just wingers aren't they just fucking wingers anyways that's our top 10 top 10 centre backs of all time guys no not of all time currently in the world now we are going to move on to something that was highly requested in the comments of these videos.
1:00:32It's an all-time overrated Premier League XI. So before we get into this, keep your comments coming in because we can do more of these segments. And start typing your overrated XI right now. Yes, do it now. Get involved. And drop a like and subscribe because we're road to 400 ,000 subscribers. No, 400 million. 400 million. But before we start, I'd like to urinate if that's okay. I'd love to as well. Is he's rolling? Every single player, Theo says, we're going to go. No, he's fucking underrated. How the fuck? Yeah, what the fuck are you watching? No, you don't even... No, we'll get... Yeah. Lou just be like, I didn't think of that.
1:01:06Didn't think of that. Oh, yeah. Every single one of Lou's. So what we're going to do, guys, we're going to get Lou to start, and we're going to get their fucking class, mate. Yeah, they're really good. And then Theo next, and then every single one is going to be incorrect. Yeah. Yeah. Enjoyment, I've heard. We hope you're happy, guys. Right, Louis, would you like to go first? Before we get an urge, for every single Swindling player ever. Seeing as that botman was such a stinker, we might as well go first. I struggled hard with this. Come on. First, in goal, I'm going with Lloris. Yeah. I thought you'd like that.
1:01:38Yes! My fucking guy! Let's go! I didn't know this. Did you know that he had never been in a team of year or won a Golden Glove? That doesn't surprise me at all, no. Shit. It's weird because I remember when he was signing and I was really jealous of Spurs. He had some good times, but I feel like the legend of him from over in France. didn't live it up to it.
1:02:03I've got three at the back. It's a bit of an interesting... Yeah, my... I'll be honest, you couldn't actually make a team out of mine. It's like they were all over the place. I've got 17 left. I'm the only one who's done it. They're kind of in the same positions. I've got a 4-3-3. But like my midfield four of them. Yeah, my four's weird. I like four wingers. Well, mine's like... When I do it like this, it doesn't count. You don't have to do players. and it was like this. When you guys do it. It's a bit different for someone like this though, isn't it? No, sorry. He says make an all-time 11. Yeah, this could be an 11.
1:02:35They could play in these positions. This is a bit different than like a current Premier League player. Yeah. Oh, that's the bullpen. Where does Guardiola play, Thier? Center back or left back. There you go. So, in defence. Yeah, but Harlan doesn't play strike or right back, does he? Come on, please, one. We're not putting strikes at right. We're going to carry on. In defence, I've got David Luiz. That guy. Oh. Oh, fucking. You took the tail here, man. I forgot about him. Shave his hair, right? Shave his hair, take away his cool hairstyle. He does not live up to this. And his free kicks, and his free kicks.
1:03:05That's all he does. It felt a bit of friendly fire for me when I was gonna say it, but like - I'm not copying you. You didn't even have one. For the same reason, you could put Alex in as well, but I didn't. Yeah, that's a good shot as well. Ruben Diaz.
1:03:45I don't like that at the time, but every time he did play it was pretty fucking beast mode. You got like man-made match pretty much every time he played. I think that's all right, Luke. I just feel like sometimes people sneak his names into centre-back conversations where it doesn't really belong. I know, I think a lot of people go, if he didn't get injured he'd be considered well stressed. But they don't. I hear you, mate. I hear you. Best right back in the world. Erdogard is playing in midfield. That little bit soon. It's been personal that, isn't it? I actually forgot to... I didn't go back...
1:04:16but he's I know you're like current I like it I like it I like it I like it whatever man you gotta let him have it you gotta let him have it carry on we'll be forever if you Jermaine Genus yes okay so have we agreed to agree with everything I've said no I disagreed I disagreed this is a good shout mate went for loads of money to Newcastle we have never made it seven six names into a team you're not seven I don't like the other guy or the DS shout I disagreed with Edly King yeah okay I'm not used to people cheering That's because you're getting Disagreeing about half your team Yeah Jermaine Jean is definitely You're getting the coin Especially because He started giving it the big And talking about his time At Newcastle And he's saying how he like Went to He went from playing with He was like I went from playing with top players He was alright I went from playing with top players At England And then going back to Newcastle I'm like Alan Shearer is in the Newcastle team I think And he managed Shut up mate No but he's not about like As if he's on this top level And he's stepping down In Newcastle England were way better Yeah, then Newcastle.
1:05:16But he was lucky to be in that Newcastle team. That was it. Unfortunately, that was your standard. Bogs. Clearly not if he's getting in the England team. So is Shearer and he's in the same Newcastle team. Shearer wasn't playing for England when Genus was, you fucking idiot. Surprisingly tall, actually. Pogba. Yeah. Also in there. Paul Pogba. The£100 million flop. Yes. Like, maybe he was just shit, guys. On his day. Close to mind. On his day. On his day. On his day, though. Yeah, but on his... How often was his day? How many days were there? He's a lazy bastard. We're comparing France Pogba to bloody Man United Pogba.
1:05:51Yeah, France Pogba. France Pogba. And Juve Pogba. Whoa, Jesus. Oh, mate, that fucking... Then I've got Terapht as well. Yeah! Lived off his legend in the championship. Yeah, that is true, actually. Streets don't forget me. Yeah. He did have a few nice goals in the Prem. He never did it in the Prem. A lot of minor based on I think people get clouded by how good they were just because of a few moments. Yeah, I agree. And then Walcott. I actually quite like Easy Moyne as well No he's not overrated Walcott was so overrated So overrated It's not his fault He went to the England To the World Cup It's not his fault No one said that It's not his fault He did a good Will hunting on Theo Walcott He did a thing the other day Where I know we don't Talk about His second touch was a tackle He was shit Jimmy Gold's he scored I don't give a fuck The thing is I think he overrated himself I know we don't talk about He overrated himself No we don't talk about FIFA around But I seen a link I seen a TikTok the other day Where he was like Shored his highest rate Which was 83 and he's like, oh, it should be 87 at least.
1:06:46I'm like, 87? I think he's like in the Arsenal's all-time top 10 goal scorers. He is. That's embarrassing. Embarrassing for you? How's that embarrassing? Chelsea don't even have someone over 50 goals. Well done, mate. I was looking at... Aaron Lennon clear. The man in the mirror. Aaron Lennon clear. I'm so harsh on Theo. On the other wing, I've got Sanchez. Pretty shit, man. Didn't really... No, that's harsh. He was so good. That's very harsh. You'd be very harsh, Simon. Very harsh. I guess so, because you can use the... I was thinking about Torres for a bit, but he was so good at Liverpool. Sanchez was like...
1:07:20Did you say that again? No, I didn't say Torres. Barcelona and Arsenal, he was unplayable. It's just the Man United team. No, but number one, you can't think about Barcelona. It's Premier League. That's why he's... No, he's got a point. But he made this big move. Arsenal, he was fucking sensational. Made this huge move to Man United. He was gone. He regretted it day one, by the way. You can't pick players that were great in the other league. You know what I mean? What they went through? Think about it. Win. My final player up front Is Balotelli Who just Oh I actually don't mind that At all Yeah he is Let's be honest Like no one thinks he's Good good But like he was shit like If you think about it He actually was so inconsistent Yeah just a huge Like sort of personality And that's why he lives off I've got a few of them In my team Personalities And actually they weren't that good Personality merchants In my opinion Hey good one I don't even mind that They were some I agree with those Let's get your side Cheers Here we go Have you tried on this one In goal, darn this fucking hell.
1:08:12Well, at least you actually finished this rather than... In goal, got Emi Martinez. Oh my fucking God. He's so overrated. How is he overrated? Just carried his team together. You were on about moments to me. You were in the World Cup. You were just talking about moments about Pickford. And now with Martinez is overrated. This guy gets talked about as being the best goal in the world every year. Theo, we're there. He won the World Cup. Make him answer this. Theo, answer this one thing. So, you're on about Pickford and his moments with England. What about Martinez and his moments with his country which resulted in a World Cup?
1:08:39Yeah, Moani, it was Moani's fault Not Mane. Oh my God, mate. Mane didn't keep the bullet in. Theo, Theo. I'm going to save that. Theo, Theo. No, he's an amazing save. Yeah, it's an amazing save. It's an amazing save. But that's my point. Can he respond to that? No, he's overrated. No, can he respond to that? Mate, for the first 10 years of his career, what's he doing? You're being a hypocrite, though. You think he's the most overrated goalkeeper in Premier League history? He gets called the best goal in the world every year. No, he doesn't. It's not true. He actually wins the Yachting Trophy every year.
1:09:05No, he doesn't. Name one year you've got a golden glove. In what? What do you mean? Premier League Got it? I don't even give her answer Never won it But overreared I don't understand who's overreared He gets talked about Like one of the greats No he doesn't He doesn't In Argentina Yeah Not fucking in the prem He does Anyways Right back This guy Just say it man He actually wasn't good I have great memories of him Just say the name Fond memories But he just wasn't good Ebue What are you on about? What? Ebue Solid I loved him but he wasn't nice. He was good for Arsenal? He weren't really. And he speaks Japanese.
1:09:42It's not relevant. I love him. That wasn't it career. That wasn't it career. Great guy. Great character. Friend of the show? Friend of the show. Okay. Well, he's going to like this. You picked a friend of the show. No, I don't. I've never met him. Okay. Centre back with David Luiz. Other centre back I've got Sven Botman. Oh my God. Have you actually put Botman in? Mate, he thinks he's the 10th best centre back in the world. You can't just base it off him. I think you're now doing chalk lists. So you can't be scrutinised. I know what he's done here. He's just finished his 11 based off that. You didn't do your homework.
1:10:16No, it just so happens he put in top 10. No, you're a liar. This guy talks about this guy in the last three years. You just said one of your reasons for putting him in was he put him 10. So you've changed your list then? Theo didn't do his homework. So you've changed your team then? I know for a fact that you were one player missing. You've just done it off the back of that. Left back This is friend of the show though I feel a bit bad About saying this But was he actually As good as everyone says Or was he just good At free kicks John Arnaurisa What are you on about Just solid For Liverpool And for years Solid Solid But is he one of the best Left backs of all time No one says he is We've seen that We've seen this thing You just make things up You just make it No one said that ever I just think maybe Friend of the time I just think that maybe You're mental You're mental You're absolutely mental.
1:11:05Midfield three is a... Look how red is... John, I'm recently in a Liverpool kit. I'm tired. I'm tired. Midfield three, I stand by. Oh, hang on. So that means you don't stand by any of the others. I stand by them, just not strongly. First one, Moussa Dembele. This guy gets... Oh, my God. Fuck off. Hear me out. What the fuck are you doing? There's a reason every other way. This is my point. Everyone always says, who's the best player you've played with? Moussa Dembele. There's a reason for it then, isn't there? He did fucking nothing. That's not true. Isn't it? It's not true. He was always injured.
1:11:40He was injured a lot, yeah. He was always injured, mate. When he played for Spurs, he was brilliant. He is the most overrated player I've ever seen in Premier League. But that's their opinion. He's the best player that they played. Mate, he's always injured. What's the best availability? Ability.
1:11:54What's the best availability? Ability. Musa Dembele gets talked about way too highly. No, people ask players who've played him who's the best player. and they just answer honestly? Why would they lie about what is it that bullet? Why would they lie? Why is this a gender they're playing? He's always injured. It's like Ledley King's leg, he's always injured. No, Ledley King, I don't know what was that good. No, but the professional footballers are finishing their career going, Ledley King was the best. The best player I always played with was Ledley King. These are ex-pros that played with him. By the way, guess how old he is now.
1:12:26Who? 34? 29. That's the wrong move to Dembele, you thick fucker. This might be one of the worst lists you've ever searched. Go on, carry on. Ben Arthur. Again. What do people read about? People, right, for me. He's the best person in the world to get you. Yeah, that's my point. Everyone says like, oh, Ben Arthur, how good was he? No. Yeah, it's very. No, no, hear me out. That's a question. Hear me out. Are these the same people you've heard about? They're always saying these things. By the way, you've just jumped on a bandwagon now. Ben Arthur is a perfectly reasonable shout out because. Why? Everyone talks about, oh, he's amazing.
1:12:59He dribbled through. He did it once a year. By the way, that is the most incorrect thing I've ever heard. He had about two years. He did it once a year. He did it once a year. What are you fucking talking about? His argument for how we're overrated Ben Hoffman, we're laughing about it. People go, Ben Hoffman, how good was he? But that's so true. Stop overrating it. Open a new question for how good Ben Hoffman was. He did not do it once a year. He did not do it once a year. He did it every game. He's phenomenal. No, he didn't. He was great for us. He did not do it every game, Lou. You're clouded by the streets, don't forget.
1:13:33Theo, I just think you're seeing words. He's supporting the team. He used to watch them every week. He was literally my favourite player whilst he was there. He's got 14 goals for you in four years. What do you mean? He wasn't a goal scorer. No, that's my point. He said he did it every week. He was your creator. He did it every week. I didn't say he scored every week. He got six assists once in a season. That's the most he ever got. I never said he scored every week. They were bottom-up. No, no, no, no. Everything you said, we have counted it. Every single thing. Oh, yeah, three assists one season.
1:13:59He just won. Fucking hell, mate. Why didn't he listen? Stat merchant, stat merchant. I never said he scored every week. I never said he scored every week. He said he did it every week. No. Tell me what I did. Neil, what were we talking about when I said he did it every week? He did a flip-flap and dribble through some players, mate. He did do that every week. He's actually so rough. He didn't always have the end result and everyone knows that. He never had the end result. And everyone knows that, so he's not overrated. No one would play me always did. He gets talked about by me. I actually love him.
1:14:22Streets won't forget, but he weren't great as a football player. So you're arguing with yourself. What are you talking about? My logic for how I do it. He's arguing with myself. Why do you think? I look in the mirror every morning. Why do you guys think he had a transfer every year when he left Newcastle? No one wanted him. Everyone agrees. It's his Premier League appearances. He returned to us after a preseason. He was bang average for Newcastle. Bang average. And I love him. Newcastle fans love him. Yeah, I love him. I love him. You're getting blinded by him. Mate, you're getting blinded. You get blinded by the five-star skills, mate.
1:14:57You get blinded by it. It's true. I'll die on this hill. It was a bit of magic, but everyone understood that he wasn't the full thing. He's not over. Have you done a midfield three, by the way? Yeah. So you're, by the way, he said at the start, wow, so I've got him in the right positions. You've been off a centre mid. No. You've got a midfield three. Yeah, and two tens. He was more of a winger, wasn't he, Ben Arthur? Playing the centre, of course he could. Well, exactly. We've all done that as well. Yeah, we've moved people. So many I've done it right then, have I? The next one, you're not going to like this.
1:15:27Ignore. And I almost feel bad saying it. Just say the name. Just say the name. Mesut Ozil. Lazy. Oh, at his own fucking star, man. No, but he actually won. Did you run out of players to play? No, no, no. I'll tell you why. I love Mesut Ozil. He's a luxury player. What's going on? You keep saying you love these players and you fucking slay them? You can say you love him, but you can also unbiasedly say, I think maybe after football he's a little bit overrated what bat was overrated he didn't track back but aren't you the one rating them aren't you I can still love someone as a person obviously he's fucking jacked now as well and some of the goals he's scored but is he was he did he do it consistently as good I don't think he did how many assists did he get in one season with you or something wasn't it like one of the most consistent players we're talking like it was literally he didn't track back but the returns he'd give you upfield he was paying it back Messi didn't track back either Yeah he's magic as well Well luckily for him He didn't play in the Premier League Tom You're going to put Messi In overrated No obviously not Go on mate He's your front three Front three And I've got Sancho Okay Does anyone write Sancho?
1:16:39I'd say the price tag's pretty rated Yeah But one of the most overrated Just because Man United Overpaid for someone When he's at Dortmund Everyone's like Fucking hell this guy's going to be Like the next one of Jesus Christ When he came to Man United When he came to Man United When he came to Man United overrated. No one said he's going to be definitely overrated. When he came to Man United, you were telling, when he came to Man United, he was saying, oh my God, this guy's like, the way he dribbles past people. Have you seen the way he dribbles past people? Do you remember when he said that? I was counter-argue.
1:17:02He said he couldn't beat them up. I'm joking anyway. I would counter-argue haven't we seen enough of him? No. That was just, by the way, that was just living proof. How much he just lied? He's lied this whole time. He's a mate, he's a mate. No, no, no. That's another word for him. Misremembered. I quite openly and was known for saying how Sancho couldn't beat people and he was never going to be a successful Premier League. That's why you have to beat your man was a thing for life. By the way, is that not really harsh? Is that not really harsh for all-time Premier League, Sancho, who we haven't even seen his full career yet.
1:17:42He said, I've struggled to think of any footballers. Who's he got on your list who's still playing? He's got fucking tennis. Martin Erdogan. Martin Erdogan is in your list. I think Erdogan His excuse for Sancho was I haven't seen his full career yet but what about Martin Erdogan No by the way Erdogan is rated very highly by Arsenal fans I think he's goes hiding I think he's missing Sancho's not rated anymore He's just got sweet Next up my left winger is a guy that whoa he might win a Ballon d 'Or if he wasn't shit it's Mudrick How's he overrated You said he didn't win the Ballon d 'Or mate You did Another lie Oh my god back me up on this one I can't remember That was a famous thing you made up to take the piss.
1:18:23How dare you? Because I said he was going to be a success. You changed it to, I said he's going to win the Ballon d 'Or. You literally made that up. 80 million quid down the drain. He's so bad, he's turned to sprinting. I think this is one of the worst things. I think it's the drugs that he's... But he's not rated. I don't get it. No normal... Most fans don't rate him. Tom, when he signed for Chelsea, everyone's like, oh my God, this guy... Because he beat James Milner. Even we were doing it. We overrated him. You also tried to sign him for 100 million? That's my point. Overrated. That's the whole thing All you've done there Is back my point That's all you've done Well done Moving straight on We used to laugh at him Every stream For how shit he was At the time he was overrated Lou This is all through The Premier League mate He doesn't play in the Premier League He's a fucking band Okay so you've got A tournament So you picked a player Who doesn't even play football anymore He just said lots of words It confused me Do you think Reece Don't play football anymore Yeah He doesn't Yeah he does He plays for Lilistrum No he doesn't All he does is play Cross country skiing mate How do you know that Because I follow him on Instagram He's a friend of the show Who's he?
1:19:17Rick John Arnaurisa Rick I can't believe you said that about your mate Rick Arnaurisa said that about your own mate go on then who's up front Omri no I got the guy who was tipped to win a future Ballon d 'Or and he's still only 29 years old it's Anthony Martial ah okay that's not a bad one I am future Ballon d 'Or welcome to Manchester United he's still 29 he should be in his prime I said you ended on a high I was complimenting him he's not coming at me 28 until he's 29 what happened there was I said one name at the start and you started like lying every name You were lying about every player If you actually deep it I'm right What you were doing is you kept saying people say this people say that everyone said that The way people talk about the way I talk about I fucking love Mr.
1:19:58Ozil but he's well overrated He's fantastic He wasn't as good as everyone's saying You said people called Martina's the best keeper in the world they don't Yes they did I mean Yes they did You said he was right up there with the gold He quite literally won He quite literally won the Ashton Trophy twice Maybe in three Why are you angry at him winning trophies? I don't understand. He's an awesome fan. He was pretty paramount in Messi winning his first World Cup, wasn't he? Huge. Mormons, you could say, on an international stage. Something you're a fan of.
1:20:32Right. Here we go. Fucking hell, we have more of this. Right. Mormon's going to roll a few up, I think. Do you want to go after me, then? Oh, shit. Sorry, I forgot about it. In goal. Joe's not going to roll anyone up. I haven't picked friends of the show. Oh, he's trying to... Oh, oh. Whoa. Whoa, Mr. Round in the corner. Fucking hell. In goal, obviously, Hugo Lloris. Yeah, great one. Any opportunity to get that? Very good. Yeah, great. Left back. Still playing. Digne. Digne. That's because of FIFA and that. No, people just think he's way better than he actually is. You put him in your FPL team and he doesn't get you points.
1:21:07That's a good point, actually, but I didn't actually include that in my logical line. I did over it because I really wanted him and he went to Villa instead. You actually said he should go to Liverpool when he was at everything. but all of it I also have David Luiz alongside Lewis Bowden things very oh did you have him as well Lewis Bowden Lewis Bowden's in there David Luiz he's also got David Luiz did you have him as well oh so we've all got alright Rafa Varane is my other centre back oh that's not related that's very good potentially most overrated centre back in Premier League he came in with a lot of a bit harsh though because he was at the end and like he wasn't at the end though but the thing is he was a bit for all the injuries he had I don't know if he was actually close to the end of his career.
1:21:45He was so good. At Real Madrid he was unreal. Exactly. But the thing is if you pay the money and pay the wages you have to hold it to that standard don't you? And it's his Premier League career. Oh so you're talking about when he don't worry. No no no. Go on go on. That logic applies to me because I'm not saying how good he was in Madrid I'm saying how shitty he was in the Premier League. So it should apply for me as well. No your logic was about Ben Arthur who left and then got worse. His time in the Premier League was actually very good. Everyone knew Ben Arthur was a bit of a delusional He came back all the way.
1:22:12What? Went to the hall. We didn't really argue with him. He's a banned athlete, isn't he? What's going on? Come on, Cameron. Left back, I've got Cancelo. Oh, no, sorry. Right back, I've got Cancelo. What? No. Yeah. What? He was so good at City. I don't think he was as good as people make out. Why? What are you remembering from that? He was amazing at City. Salah spun him. Oh, fucking hell. That's like the Gabby argument against Vinic. That's worse than anything I've got. Mate, Cancelo only left because he fell out with Pep. He was amazing. and he was playing out of position he played right back or left back yeah exactly mate if we went back to times where we were doing lists you would have been putting him as one of the best full backs in the league in the world as well you would have 100 % been saying that quite possibly yeah so you're wrong so you're saying you're wrong you're saying you're wrong no you're allowed to actually change your opinion on this show but what's changed by saying remember how good he was I just think oh yeah no I think people remember him as better than when you watch and I'm a fucking huge fan of Kantello He got me loads of FPL points Which is great Oh that's the I think that He's not as good as some other Admit it You don't believe it I do believe it He's one of the first names I put down actually I'm pretty sure When he was at City Especially when he had That one season I think the season after he joined We were all saying He's like the best fullback In the league And like he was amazing That could be true So what you're saying is You overrated him Midfield three Already mentioned Streets won't forget Wait you haven't done centre Yeah, Varane and David Luiz.
1:23:41Oh yeah, sorry. Adel Tarapt. Yeah. Class, but overrated. Be smart. Feel harsh saying this. Dele Alli. I nearly put him in, actually. I'm talking wasted potential definitely up there, but I think also overrated. Was he overrated? Because at his time... Do you want to PFA Young Player of the Year? Was he like... Even at his best, I actually think he was a bit... I think people thought he was better than he was. You think we got too excited a little bit? Yeah. People were talking about him like he was a Bellingham. Do you know what I'm talking about? Do you know what it was? It's a generational talent.
1:24:11He scored some unbelievable goals. Yeah, he did. When you do that, suddenly it's up there. He might be sat there thinking like, I don't know how the fuck I did that. I'll admit, I feel bad in saying that. He was really good, Elliot, like making late runs into the box and like finishing chat. He was good at that. But like, he wasn't like this amazing midfielder who... You say it to me. I'm just looking at it like, obviously stats on everything, but you know when he was... Yeah, the night of everything. That's what we're talking about. Like in that position, he got 21 goal contributions in his first season.
1:24:39and then he got 31 the season after. What, 18, 19? Yeah. And he didn't kick on. And then he started to become like, then he changed the back of his shirt to Delhi and it was going to be the whole brand. And then he just, I know he had these problems obviously, but I'm not just saying it. I do agree. At the time, even when he was getting all this hype, I was like, I don't think he's that good. I think when he half-blows like, highlight real moments, it all like, it blows it up, doesn't it? I think we're forgetting how good he was. But that's the point, isn't it? Isn't that how people wrote people Unbelievable at the time.
1:25:09That's by definition overrated, no? Anyway. Now, you were saying at the time he wasn't that good. No, no, no, no. Yeah. I don't agree with you. He's not really... I mean, he can be a 10. I've got him in my field. It doesn't matter. Jal Felix. I don't think he was actually any good at Chelsea whatsoever. He didn't do anything when he came in. He was any good for a long time, to be honest. Well, he had a reputation at Atletico Madrid, didn't he? I feel like the reputation. His career in the Premier League just wasn't that good. And similarly, same sort of vein of career, actually Falcao up front for me Chelsea United arrived with so much hype this is where I like he was mate he was in team of the year when he was at Atletico Madrid and then he didn't do it are you calling Rademar Falcao over Raid are you calling his time at Man United over Raid I'm talking his Premier League career over Raid do you know what I mean like it just doesn't seem right he was shit at Chelsea United yeah but we're talking about one of the best nines in the world coming to the league and he didn't do anything I'll be honest two different teams as well I don't remember a lot of him I don't remember a lot of Falcao in the Prem to be honest I don't know I have Martial as well and then this is a very rogue one but I have memories of him from when I started properly watching football and I actually don't think he's as good as people talk about because it's nostalgia tax Milan Baros that's such a random one why is that he was just like a decent decent forward in the Prem I know he's like Yeah, but everyone, because of how Liverpool did in that period of time, everyone talks about how good he was.
1:26:40And I actually don't think he was that good. I don't know where we're on about everybody. I don't think Baros won anything at Liverpool. Champions League? 2005. Was he in the team? Of course he was, yeah. Did he start? Fuck me, I don't remember. And then he went to Villa after, didn't he? Yeah, I thought he'd already gone to Villa by then. I haven't heard that name in so long. Will, you can't actually spell any... Mate, when he came onto the scene, I remember when he scored on his debut at Bolton. I think he scored twice. Yeah, he started. He got the golden boot in the Euros, didn't he? And that's what I remember him being like...
1:27:10What, in 04? Yeah. And he was sick. He was at Liverpool before that. He wasn't. He signed after, I think. No, he didn't. He made his debut. Look, 01, 02. Okay, there you go. There you go. He actually left after the... I remember... He didn't leave after the Euros. He did another two years there. I remember his goal. He had a skinhead away at Bolton. He scored twice. Fucking class. But yeah, I mean, that's a bit harsh, but all right. Very random, actually, but there you go. People aren't going to like mine. In goal I've got David James What? Oh what Because he's second Friend of the Shaw Dave Look I feel horrible saying this Because I did a TikTok live With him as well He was shit man No he wasn't There was literally a chant If James can play for England So can I He was so His concentration was terrible He made so many clangers How he played so many games For England Has he got one of the most Second highest clean sheets Hence why I think he's overrated How many games he played In the Premier League Clean sheets don't lie mate But that's all, he played so many games though.
1:28:06He was all number one, wasn't he? But you don't get selected. Was the climate of goalkeeping just completely different back then? You don't get selected if you shit. It was the options at that point though. Theo, this is the whole premise. Because he played so many games for England and played in the top level for so long, I think he's overrated for that. I don't think he deserved that for his ability. That's the whole point. You can make the argument why he's bringing up his England career if it's Premier League only. Oh. Because he played for England during his time in the Premier League. He's coming for you.
1:28:32Okay. It's not a different league, is it? Who was he competing with for the... number one spot in England because it was it went it was after Seaman Seaman James then Joe Hart then it was Robbinson Robbinson we had that period though where we couldn't find it we had that green had that clanger and the fucking clanger okay I've got a three at the back I've got Ruben Diaz as well I've just I just think he's a trickier in front of the ball I think it's just it sounds like he's a good player as well with his name he sounds like he's a leader for the treble and similarly I've got two time player of the year the man you're in
1:29:08I've witnessed Nemanja Vidic get spun like inside out at Banglaore, Carlton Cole Shane Long fucking Roman Bednar I've seen a lot of players do things to him That's crazy you've got Vidic in his face I think when people put him in discussions of like Terry, Ferdinand Van Dijk I think he's a complete level below in my opinion I disagree, what do you think Reeve? I just find it interesting that you put him in the captaincy list last week and now you just because he's a good leader he's a good leader I think he's overrated as a footballer alright I agree the best players aren't always the best captains well we had fucking Colbert I said that and you fucking no I didn't I said that I had Norble in there oh yeah we did say that Theo's really trying to like try and catch you out no but it's weird how you put Henderson as a better leader Henderson as a better leader than Gerrard I personally wouldn't have put Vidic in overrated because I think he's as good as people made up yeah I agree with you and that's why you're intelligent.
1:30:04Why are you trying to shout around? I'm just disagreeing. The last one is more based on comments a certain purple-nosed Scottish manager made. I've got Phil Jones. Phil Jones? He said he was going to be the next Steve Bruce. Oh, okay. And he was shit. I actually didn't know he said that. He was at Man United for 10 years. It's not his fault. I don't think anyone thought he was a party spot. In that coin, coin, coin. I know. I don't blame him, mate. He has made a great career for very little ability, in my opinion. Did he even have a testimony? Is that what people are moaning about? I don't know.
1:30:39But I don't think the general perception was after that point where it was like he is going to be this player. I think everyone knew. That one isn't based on fan opinion. It's just on Fergie. The fact he was at Man United for 10 years. He's shit. This is nice to keep him around. He's a nice lad. He was shit, man. He'd help out. He'd clean the boots. Okay, I've got another Man United player. Phil Jones cleaning the boots. I was helping out around the back scenes. What? The back seats. Please let me keep the job around the back of old traffic. Okay, I've got another Man United player in midfield.
1:31:07I find there are a lot of Man United for mine as well.
1:31:13We've heard your list, mate. This guy is a fucking marathon merchant, Park G Sung. That's - He was overrated, man. No, he weren't. No, man. It was a work course. No one fucking see him. No, go on the pitch and just - No one said he's fucking - Go on the pitch and just stand next to someone. No one's saying he can do any more. People call him underrated. Tom, how many people man-muck Messi out of a game? He could bear. He didn't. He never did that. Who are these people? What game? When he scored, Messi scored. When Messi had the best performance of all time. What? What are you getting so angry for?
1:31:49So actually, he didn't do his job in that game? Park was quality. No, he wasn't quality. No one said he's an all-timer. He's a runner-round. I think that's all people see he does. Yeah, I agree. That's all people say he gets underrated. No, you're lying. You hate being wrong and you're wrong. You are wrong. Haven't we just said we can't be wrong on this? No, you definitely can't. Well, I think he was well wrong. I think he gets overrated because people put him as underrated. I think it's only Man United fans who say, because they love the legend. I think overall... That makes sense, doesn't it?
1:32:16Well, yeah, it's just you, but not to me. No, like overall, people say he would stick to his mind. I don't think... I think he's overrated. I'm in the camp of people just knowing that's the starting player. Everyone knew that's all he did. No one's saying anything further. be the worst shout the show's ever had. Cheers, mate. Well done. That's worse than Trent has sent him a mid-sat there with your Martinez. Well done, bud. Right, next, I've got a personality merchant. Can you guess it? Can you guess it? Diego Costa. What, a centre mid? Yeah, well done, mate. I've got Davey Bentley. Oh, a friend of the show?
1:32:49He had one really good season at Blackburn and then was underwhelming. I mean, first of all, couldn't break through at Arsenal. With people like... Yeah, mate, he got a big move to Spurs. He was at Spurs. It's not his spot. He had the same name and same play style and same position as David Beckham. What the fuck has that got? A lot of people drew comparisons with him. David Beckham's called David Beckham and David Bentley's called David Bentley. He's very similar. People drew comparisons with him. Was it not that Bentley wasn't committed that much? I don't know if that was a thing. Probably wasted talent, yeah.
1:33:15Yeah. I've got Walcott as well. That's mental. That's mental. It's fucking mental. Walcott was so over-hating, man. He was such a basic footballer. Just had speed. So jarring. The last one, people are not going to like this because this guy gets... And honestly, his reputation precedes him. No, no, no. If you actually look at like performances and stuff, Joe Cole is overrated. Oh, Joe. I promise you he's overrated. Oh, my God. Everyone talks about him like... He's a friend of the show. Another friend of the show. We're going to have no friend of the show. Mate, did you see how many stepovers you could do and turn people inside out?
1:33:49It was like 100 stepovers and go, bing, see you later. And then whack it top bins near post. I don't agree with him, Joe. And then score four leagues against Sweden. Yeah. which by the way he scuffed but oh fuck you know I missed a division 2 soccer player then he writes to talk about Joe Cole like this alright so none of us can talk about any pro ever then no that's the end of the show yeah thanks for tuning in make sure you rate us five stars okay other than why do you think he's overrated because of the reputation that precedes everyone talks about oh my god you should see the things Joe Cole was doing in training when he was 14 doing this but actually he got on the pitch and he was just decent he's just a good player he's nothing special he was never Chelsea's best player he was never England's best player but he was spoken about like this Ben Arthur what?
1:34:29why did you why did you do that whisper thing just say it into the mic sounds like Ben Arthur and all these players I mentioned Ben Arthur didn't Ben Arthur didn't have the reputation of Joe Cole what are you on about the whole way through the whole way through all this he's just been trying to make his list better somehow yeah don't get me wrong Joe Cole Joe Cole was a good player but I think he was he's spoken about like he's amazing friend of the show yeah friend of the show How is Joe Karl friend of the show? I don't get it. I've done a video of him. He's a friend of the show. Do you reckon he'd remember you?
1:34:59It doesn't matter. That's not how a friend of the show works. He's had contact. I can't with Morgan Gibbs' wife. I'm into you, Joe Karl. Also, injuries didn't help him, I suppose, Karl. But yeah, he was terrible at Liverpool as well when he went there. Great at West Ham. He was all right at West Ham. Got to move to Chelsea. Did okay. I remember it well, Tom. Yeah, well done. Sorry, Joe. And then, top three. Front three. Top three? What the fuck am I on about that? Top three, most of those. I've gone Elad's Jew for the dirty spitting camel. Yeah. Jesus. Horrible bastard he was. Can we put that in?
1:35:29Yeah. He used to spit like a camel. He used to spit at people. Isn't that not otters? Never mind. A pecan pelican? Pecan? What a fucking nut. Emus. Emus spit. What's that got to do with my list? Guardiola. Next up. What's Elad's Jew for that even really rated? Yeah, he got a big move to Liverpool after the World Cup with a big reputation and then just did fuck all. They could have signed Gerald's on back this the other day They chose to sign El Hadjouf over Anelka Great decision that Then I've got Arshavin That's fucking So inconsistent That is ridiculous Theo, Theo, Theo Theo You probably never even watched him play I'm not green, I'm green with you I'm green with you I think that's very Arsh Every time you argue with him He always looks everything You never watch Steve play You've seen a TikTok You've seen a TikTok Theo, you've seen a TikTok Of him scoring four goals against Liverpool And you think he's amazing He was so inconsistent Yeah, I've been very harsh.
1:36:22He was so inconsistent. He was so inconsistent. I've been very harsh. He went missing for Arsenal all the time. He had a great Euros. Wrong. He had a great Euros. Great Euros. He scored four goals against Liverpool, and that's it. No, that's wrong. And scored a good goal against Barcelona. That's wrong. What else? He did more than that. What else? He was consistent for us. He was a solid player. No, you're just saying words with no backup. Okay, I won't say words. No, no. No, but you're not backing it. No, no, no. I can tell. Theo, what I'm saying is, can you go more in depth with your answer?
1:36:49because you're being quite ambiguous with your explanation. He's gone non-verbal, guys. No, he's gone non-verbal. I'll try to speak for him. I think that people necessarily didn't rate him super highly in order for him to be overrated. Oh, Shavin? Yeah. Shavin gets spoken about very highly, even today. Yeah, but that doesn't make him overrated then, does it? He's got the problem, guys. Go on, go on, pull it out. No, pull it out. No, you can't use that again. That's a different meme. That's when he's got equaliser. Anyway, and the last one. You might like this one. Because I saw you talk about him on a video, actually.
1:37:25Really? I've gone Jermaine Defoe. Yeah. Oh, what? Jermaine Defoe. I heard someone... One of the best finishers in Premier League history. He's not, though. Defoe was good. That's over him. That's exactly why he's overrated. One of. One of is not saying he is. One of the best finishers in Premier League history. I could name the 10 better straight away. Go on. Aguero, Harry Kane, Thierry Henry, Robin Van Persie, Shearer. There you are. Rude Van Nistelrooy Have I said Aguero? Yeah Robbie Fowler Michael Owen Keep going And Defoe's a better finisher than Michael Owen But that's me not saying words No he wasn't How?
1:38:01How's Defoe a better finisher than fucking Michael Owen? With two golden boots as a teenager What are we on about? So we've got two years as a whole career Also Just to go back Surely one of Implies a top ten anyway I wouldn't even put him top five Top 50? No top 15 But the fact you're talking about him like that To me is ridiculous Like Viduka was a better finisher than Defoe But he doesn't get spoken about like that Whoa, whoa, whoa Don't put down Viduka What are you on about? Viduka was fucking unbelievable He was a better finisher than Jermaine Defoe I'm 100 % both footed Better in the air I thought you were now underrating Jermaine Defoe Yeah, absolutely No, I'm not Defoe was a good player There's a reason None of the top clubs come in for him Ever Why?
1:38:44Why couldn't he get more game time for England? Why didn't he play for one of the big six? if he's one of the best finishers in Premier League he was good Defoe was just good like he was he was fine but less relaxed like he was never like a top top player but he did play for one of the big six no he didn't no one of the big clubs I mean like a challenging Premier League title Tottenham were like big six back then it wasn't even a thing back then well I didn't they weren't my choice of words mate were they say you just said them no he said big six and then you said no I didn't say big six I didn't say big six I said one of the big teams so you said big six no I didn't I don't care what he says I know what I said I didn't say big six You did They'll back me Oh my god Replay this right now I didn't say big six I said one of the big teams How much do you want to bet?
1:39:29How much do you want to bet? £20 No let's have a real bet If you're so confident £50 £100 Tom do you not think though £100 get it up right now I'll bet you I said big six You know you said about The England thing He's still got 20 goals And just under 60 appearances For England That's a pretty good record That's a good record Crouch has got a great record but people don't speak about Crouch like they do DeFau I'll chip over him actually if you want he's a play style though I think with Crouch I think Crouch is a bit underrated personally different list though okay yeah when was I talking about DeFau I don't know there was like a Premier League you were talking about a Sunderland fan with him it is just like yeah it's just when he's it's one of those names that sounds cool to say because he didn't play for like those big teams but like DeFau yeah when you're on a balance I heard, I think, someone on one of the club lads were saying, like, Defoe would be one of the best strikers in the Premier League right now.
1:40:19No, he wouldn't. Yeah, it just sounds cool to see. Just wouldn't. That's why he'd be one of the best. Like, Defoe, he's like Watkins level. He's about that level. But that would be one of the best in the Premier League right now. Yeah, but that was a difference. No, he... I'm not sure... They were saying, like, the best in the Premier League right now. Oh, no, yeah. He said one of the best. Yeah, didn't he? So which is it? The best or one of the best? To be honest, I can't remember. There's a big difference, actually, Tom.
1:40:44He was a great player, correct. He was all great. He's a good player. Why are you agreeing with him? I agree with him. I said it myself. You're in the fucking Discord, you are, mate. He's referenced the back of... I've actually spoken about this before. He's just referenced me talking about this. Theo, you never have like basis for your arguments. You just go on stats. Like, you don't... My basis on Defoe is I watched him play football and I thought he was brilliant. So then I'm right. He's overrated because he wasn't brilliant. You're not right because you can't be right. Okay, fair enough. I'm wrong.
1:41:10You can't be wrong either. Okay, then I'm not wrong. You can't be anything. Yeah, you're an opinion. It's an opinion. Right, okay. So we're arguing our opinion, but you're getting angry at us because we dis... No, no, no. You were shouting at me. You were just shouting at me a second ago. You were just shouting. By the way, Theo, you were just shouting at me saying, you can't do it when you're wrong. You raised your voice first, so I was matching your energy, Tom. This is how I talk. You shouted at me there, like 10 seconds ago. Yeah, because you were raising your voice. No, I didn't. You also went red like a tomato and was screaming at every single player that we just interviewed.
1:41:41Yeah, because I'm matching the energy you were reciprocating. No, you, you, no, no, no, you, you were the first. Anything I say, anything you say is that I'm wrong. So I need to match that energy. No, no, no. Like we said, we just disagree. It doesn't mean you're wrong. We think you're wrong, but that's just our opinion. You can't think I'm wrong. I can. You can't. I can think what I want about you. No, no, no, but you can't, you know, actually. Oh, I can. Oh, funny. Do you remember this? What did you just say there, Tom? I said, I can think what I want about you. Okay, so in the previous episodes, when you were telling me I'm not allowed, you're telling me that I think wrong.
1:42:11You told me in previous episodes You said to me You don't believe what you think I don't I don't believe that I'm so good at it When we was on about What was we on about though This is like 40 fucking chess here No what was we on about We get to be here in person No no no Now what you're doing right there Once again You're changing the goalpost To fit your argument and gender And that is me No no we're neutral Keep going This is what he does This is what he does He begs He begs the last people to join him Because you can't own your own I'll come back to you in a second I'm calling you now. You agree with me about Jermaine Defoe.
1:42:46I do agree with you about Jermaine Defoe. But here you are, scared of him to speak up. Go on, speak up. I'd already said, and we had a fucking 100-pound bet on it. I wouldn't speak up. I could be 100-pound down. Look at you angry once again. Oh, no. Don't do this. The original debate was you saying that he says what you say is incorrect. Carry that on. No, no, no. That isn't what I said. We were arguing that one day. I think you said something like you think Arsenal will win. And you told me. I don't believe I said in my opinion I don't think you believe that yeah that's mental why it's just my opinion because I'm telling you how I feel okay then and that's like if you tell me how you feel I said I don't believe how you feel okay I think I can fly well you can't that's a fact well there you go then so you think I don't believe that then right but you don't believe that precisely I don't think you believe that thing that you said about Arsenal you just admitted that you don't believe that to me oh my god you literally just admitted how can you not understand what I'm saying you've just admitted you don't believe you don't believe that do you see what I mean No, no, no, no, no.
1:43:39I'm actually just enjoying as a speaker. No, it really does make sense. I'm not here, I'm not here. It really does. Oh, no, he's really angry now. I'm really pushing some buttons here. Theo! Fucking hell. Theo, listen. Theo, listen. No, no, listen, listen, listen. All right, fly then. Just because... No, no, Tom, prove to me you can fly. No, so just because... Prove you can fly. Just because someone says something doesn't mean we have to take that as gospel and we believe... No, but Tom, prove you can fly. I don't believe you believe that about Arsenal. I can't remember what it was. I do. Okay, but I don't believe you.
1:44:06Okay, fine. All right, you're wrong. But now prove you can fly. You're missing the point. No, prove you can fly. I can't. There you go. So you don't believe it because you admitted you can't do it. Whereas I've never admitted nothing so that's how I feel. No, because you're lying. That's my point. I think you're lying. That's rude. Why? That's rude. Why? Can you tell me I'm lying when I'm not? But I think you are. But that's wrong. Oh my God. So I have to believe. Am I losing my mind here? Has he gone fucking mental? Okay, Theo. Has he gone mental? Theo. I think he's gone mad. I think he's gone mad.
1:44:34How can you not? Why do you keep looking to them for support? Because they've agreed with me. It's okay, buddy. You can do it on your own. No, Tom, you're calling me a liar for telling the truth. It's a bit like when we did the halftime quiz and you cheated and you claimed you didn't. I think you're lying. I didn't cheat. I know, but I think you're lying. But how many times, Tom, can you be wrong in the matter of a few weeks? It's blowing my mind. It's blowing my mind. You're begging it. You're begging it so bad. It's L after L after L after L after L, Tom. It's not even an L, by the way. That's so cringe It's crazy So cringe Right let's end the show Let's end the show Oh no I'm having so much fun though Yeah you're just Tapping out You're too intellectual for me Guys Tapping out I can't understand When people think Someone's lying If you just enjoy Listen to that back home Imagine being here in person It's so fun I think you are Why does that bother you Because you don't believe me So No we can't I want to go home Why did I lie to you So you're telling me You've never ever lied Ever What No I said Why did I lie to you about that No so have you never lied ever Of course I've lied about things So I think you're lying now.
1:45:29What's the problem? What do you think I'm lying about? The Arsenal. I can't even remember what it is. You don't even know. You don't even know. What are we doing here? It was ages ago. There you go. He doesn't even know what his partner was about. Guys, thank you so much. You boil, not me. I don't think either of you know what you're arguing about. I do. I think he was lying when we had that discussion weeks ago, but I can't remember what it was. Right, TV's about to go anyway, guys. So we'll see you. Do you think you were lying? I am myself. Yes. At the end of this clip, We will find out whether or not Tom said big six, which I know he did, or he didn't say it.
1:46:03I can't wait for this. Give him£100. Guys, I've seen him in a bit. Also, Backside is out on Thursday, and if you want to contribute to the next show, please give us suggestions for calls. My money's actually on Tom on this one, but I think you said what you said. American versus English football vlog is out right now. American English football. Honestly, in that you and Reeve little debacle, I think you're right. Okay. No, now he's trying to play with me. No, no, on my life. He's trying to play with me and be like, see, I believe you. No, no, no. I actually, genuinely, I think you're right on this one.
1:46:34I know I'm right. I know what I said. And I know how I feel. The reason none of the top clubs come in for him ever, why couldn't he get more game time for England? Why didn't he play for one of the big six? If he's one of the best team in the Premier League. 100 pounds! He said big six. Big six! I fucking knew it! That's why I raised that point. Give me that cheddar, buddy! By the way, we need to do more VAR on what Tom says, because this is fantastic. I fucking knew he said Big Six. Replay that, replay that, replay it. I don't care what he says. I know what I said. You made it to the end. Well done, you.
