In short
Football reaction and debate across a week of Premier League/FA Cup storylines: Arsenal’s performances (including Wigan and Brentford), Tottenham’s managerial change and relegation fears, Newcastle’s win over Spurs and a controversial referee display, broader VAR arguments, FA Cup TV scheduling complaints, and a “keep or sell” style discussion for Tottenham. The episode then pivots to a debate about the top 10 strikers in the world.
Guests / hosts
No named guests appear in the transcript. The show is hosted by Pitchside regulars, with Theo Baker introduced as a colleague. Other speakers are referred to by first names (e.g., Thomas, Theo, “Reeve”), but no external guest bios are provided.
Key claims
- Arsenal should stick to their current style because it’s working; Brentford was a “lucky” win for Arsenal and VAR/ref decisions are often mishandled.
- Tottenham are in a relegation battle; Igor Tudor is framed as a risky appointment with limited Premier League experience.
- Newcastle-Spurs included “disgraceful” refereeing (offside/handball/red-card decisions), fueling anti-ref/VAR frustration.
- VAR is not the core problem; referees are.
- West Ham/Nottingham Forest/Spurs are discussed as relegation contenders, with Spurs viewed as most likely to drop.
Notable examples
- Arsenal vs Wigan (direct passing “blueprint”), Arsenal vs Brentford (Gabriel second yellow debate; Mascara praise).
- Newcastle beating Spurs; specific referee/linesman criticism.
- FA Cup TV omissions (Mansfield vs Arsenal/Wigan; Liverpool vs Brighton shown instead).
- Liverpool vs Brighton 3-0; Salah/Van Dijk contract speculation.

We have had recent viewers messaging, actually emailing. It's modern now. and they've been complaining about the lack of seriousness on this show. So today we are coming at you live and direct from the Patriot studio.
1:13Over to you, weatherman. It's sunny outside, isn't it? He actually is. He's nice today. He's really nice. You know what's not nice? Watching Arsenal play football. I would disagree. I thought the Wigan game was actually quite exciting to watch, Thomas. Did you watch it? I did watch it. I was a bit boring. It was quite exciting, wasn't it? And also after your recent comments You know only a few weeks ago Talking about the lack of goals and outputs from Nonny Medweke Oh well I'll put you in my fantasy team mate For the double game mate Oh the eye ready Did you captain him? No I captained Gabriel It's still pretty good to have Madweke Would you like to retract said statements from the previous statement?
1:54About what? Madweke being shit What's the spoon got to do with it? I don't know Well I've recently escaped prison and this is how I got out of prison. Yeah, I love how this half of the table is just like embracing football and then you go, I don't think a header against Brentford and then a goal against Wigan means you suddenly go. Good header and a good finish. It was a really good header. I'm happy because he got me points. That is very true. FPL works all about FPL Cup. No, no, no. Arsenal got a double game. No, no, no. We're playing Wolves again this week. In other Arsenal news, I know it was Wigan, so take this with a grain of salt.
2:27We're not actually going to go over this. to it Eze Eze actually was playing through it's the most overrated performance I've ever seen he played two like decent passes which he should if Messi has done that no one wouldn't no one wouldn't it cost 250 million exactly I'm sorry right I love Eze I think he's a great footballer he's the best footballer in the world unfortunately I think he's been found out at the top top level I think we can agree that since he's come in yeah exactly not the top level with how harsh people have been against Verts Ezzy is getting away with it a little bit he's half the price of Verts he's double he's triple apparently I think no he played two like good passes great passes the commentators were fucking going mad they were pretty phenomenal passes you played Wigan allow it fam allow it fam let us do it yeah can I see it sorry Ruth no no don't write I didn't actually want to speak to this easy ride boys easy ride no carry on mate I was going to say I know it was Wigan now hear me out I know it was Wigan just do that right Ticker was pretty good who?
3:31the goalie oh right yeah he actually was in the second half especially he was very good that's what I was mentioning I know it was Wigan but I hope we take that style of play with us going forward because teams don't play like that against us though it doesn't always but Reeve I'll tell you why we were playing direct passes cutting lines it's Wigan law we can leave space like that for us we are a much better team than them it's a very different level and I admit right they probably should have maybe scored one. It was a great save by Kepa. But realistically, it could have been like fucking 9-1.
4:01Yeah. You can't say we've got to play like that against every other Premier League team because they're clearly not Premier League level. You play a team that is so far below your level. We need to do that against everyone. What I mean by that is the number 10 of Arsenal, say whether it's Eze, Erdogan, whoever it is, right? No, it was Saka. Oh, when he came on. Yeah, but what I'm saying is whoever is in that role, you know, you can clearly show that you can play those cutting passes. to do it more often. I agree, it's a good blueprint. I understand what you're trying to say, but it's like saying Djokovic should play those shots against a man with no legs.
4:36He's not going to do that against Nadal, is he? Because he can't. And it's also a situation where, say you get caught up. It kind of got there, but do the way around. That is a pass. That is a pass. Most of the time, wouldn't even be available or it would get cut out in the Premier League. And this is the thing, in the Premier League, if that gets cut out, you're in big danger of conceding that in transition Wigan aren't going to be like a Premier League team so you can't it's crazy we have to explain I don't know but you talk about the reason why I mention this Tom is because you constantly moan about how boring Arsenal are how we're not trying this stuff within the league so are you saying Arsenal should stick to what they're doing because they're top of the league and top of every competition or should they change the way I think I 100 % think Arsenal should stick to what they're doing because it's working for them as a neutral I don't find you fun to watch most of the time however the Brentford game I really enjoyed it was really enjoyable wasn't it but that's because Brentford took it to you Yeah, yeah, yeah.
5:25So it's also like the whole Man City thing from before. Everyone called them boring because teams were just sitting against them. I understand it's not Arsenal's fault half the time, but it is your fault a lot of the time when you play for set pieces. Like that Brentford game, I think you should have lost. I think you were lucky to win that game, personally. You didn't really trouble them. Yeah, I mean, Ray made a good second. The block from Mascara. Oh my God, on Thiago. That was unbelievable. Just to mention Mascara, Have you seen his win rate percentage? He's been good. He's all right. When he starts.
5:57I don't think he's, he's not lost the game yet when he started. He's good. I like him. I like him. I think it's five million quid. What? Might be three. Two million pounds. I think you're not, I think it was around that. He's about 10 million. He's a really good backup. I like him a lot. I like him a lot. Gabriel and Ryer against Brentford were excellent. Second yellow for Gabriel? He should have gone. Do you think? Should have got sent off. I can't believe. Should have got sent off. That's ridiculous. He should be gone though. Because that wasn't even like he'd had a foul before that as well.
6:27Yeah. That was... I mean, he's very, very lucky. He was very lucky. The one that was in discussion, he does actually... It's a clean tackle. When he kicks across him? Yeah, he gets the ball. Which? He doesn't. On the second one? No, he doesn't. No, he doesn't. He cleans him out. He doesn't get the ball at all. No, no, in the corner. The one that people were discussing where he's in the corner. Yeah, when he brings his leg across... He doesn't get the ball at all. He smashes his knees. It's a foul. They gave the foul. Almost starting up Alright fine Nah he should have been off He should have Is this a Mandela effect I'm pretty sure he got the ball I know that everyone Was saying he should have gone I think he should have gone Ah right I think he was lucky not to go And I thought Yeah Brentford are fucking class at home I mean either way Arsenal were Three points clear At the title Before the Brentford game And now four points clear So we extended our lead Which is fantastic And another game On Wednesday Against And also So it'd be seven Do you know what Brentford are just good Like they just are They are good team World team you know the header they scored from the throw like top bins that was kind of cool header that coyote fucking long throw is actually a joke he's actually a good player though no I know he is but it's a weapon to have up next for Arsenal is Wolves yep wow massive tricky game well let's see if you pull out those Wigan tactics against them similar level yeah should be able to in other news Newcastle United who would have thought from Arsenal we follow on with Newcastle United not only did they beat Tottenham Hotspur which resulted in Thomas Frank getting Fired Gone gone Do you think he still needs More time Lewis Who Frank Impossible Yeah I was I was tripled What's the Quadrupling Then what's the one for five I was quintupling down on Apologise Yeah I'm sorry I was wrong He's fucking shit He did earn himself About a million quid By the way Do you know how bad You have to be To lose at home To Newcastle At this current state Is that worse at home Like That's what I mean It was a team That's terrible away Against a team That's awful at home But like It was like Spurs Spurs did have us One in the Premier League This year that's shit yeah so bad and I know this I don't even think this is outrageous to say Spurs might go down they're 100 % yeah they're in there and who the fuck is their new interim manager Igor Tudor who's that yeah I don't know apparently he's the Tudors Marseille or something I don't know no Deserby was at Marseille Henry VIII no he's also managed Marseille oh he has managed Marseille have you seen his record though I think he's been sacked from pretty much 90 % of the places would someone like Deserby as an interim not be better choice you know what I mean yeah I do know what you mean because he's I think they've got an interim and they're holding out for Poch in the summer after the World Cup aren't they?
8:53Yeah, the thing is does Zerbi want to come in as an interim? Probably not. No. If you see it, look, do a good job and you can steer. Maybe not. But they're holding out for Poch. There's a lot of contracts around that though. Yeah, Zerbi won't probably take a six-month contract. This guy probably will. I imagine there's a reason that you've had to go for this, Giza. He was a Croatian footballer of the year in 2001. Let's not forget about it. Yeah, he's qualified. He's qualified. But I will say, They are 100 % holding up for Porto. Do you know what position he played? I'll give you£50. Don't look there.
9:18Look at me. Look at me. Look into my eye. Croatian player of the year, which means he must either have been a forward or midfielder. If you can guess the exact position, I'll give you£50 right now. Central midfield. No, he's a right back. Right back. Fair play. He looks extremely like a defender, by the way. I know what he looks like. Right back's made great managers. That is right, isn't it? I might be wrong. He's a centre back. He played right back. One thing I want to ask you about that is that kind of naive from Tottenham to bring in somebody who's got no experience at the Premier League I mean not really doing anything major then going yeah keep us up I don't think they had a choice he had to go didn't he I think who they brought in but who they're going to bring in they just had Frank who has loads of Premier League experience I mean like Premier League experience is nice but like beggars can't be choosers and they are genuine beggars at the moment we're not forgetting their manager before that had zero Premier League experience as well it's not like a give you one of the trifey mate no I know but I'm saying it's not outrageous for Spurs to be doing doing stuff like this.
10:12I do think Premier League experience with managers can be quite overrated. I think it's really... There's a lot of managers who come in with no experience and not win the league. Do you know what they actually needed? They genuinely need someone with experience of keeping a side up. I'm not even joking. He's had experience. Frank has done that at Brentford? No, but like a proven relegation. Which is what Frank... Frank has done that at Brentford? You think they should have got Daish in? They should have got Daish in. To be fair, he was off the back of his best season ever. What? It wasn't the start with Daish, like that was his most...
10:40He got early into Europe. That was his best win percentage with a team ever. Or something like that. For who? For Daesh. Most points begin. Which team are you talking about? Where's he just got second? Forrest. Is he? Yeah, it was a mental start. He has the best win percentage of any manager since Cooper at Forrest. Yeah, but he's only been there 20 games or something. 33%. Still fucked. Holy. What? Look how good he is. So no. Okay, not Nuno. I had a better one. I mean, he's third. Spurs are... Spurs next up have Arsenal. So it's probably not going to end well for them. Oh, with Matt Romero as well.
11:16To be fair, though, I always think derbies are a bit more through on the air games. New manager bounce. What happened last time, mate? Yeah, no. I'm just saying derbies. A team can be terrible form, but a derby can just be out of surprise. Yeah, there's a difference. Spurs aren't just out of form. They're terrible. Obviously, we did briefly touch on Newcastle there. Not only did he beat Aston Villa. Yeah, can I say something about that? And he beat Spurs. Yeah, go on then. That was genuinely the single most disgraceful disgusting performance of a referee I have ever seen. That one, do you know what?
11:47I actually say the first three the first three decisions, whatever, right? No, say the offside hard to catch. The Dini tackle, okay, you might have thinking, the one where the handball one is inexcusable because that's not even like, that just means you aren't looking. He never once was outside the box. No, the worst thing is of speak to the ref. He's appealing. He's in the box. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Now, do you know what the worst fit is? Because the ref, because he's given a free gig, the ref, because he has to give a free gig, actually has to get his little squirty cream, go over and mark where he thinks he was.
12:18And he goes like two yards out the box and marks. My issue with that is the linesman. How's the linesman not saying anything? Who's... Do you think the linesman is so... I genuinely think the linesman might see that and be like, damn, the ref is so adamant. Have I made a mistake here? I just think linesman is useless. There's no point having linesmen Because they do fuck all They never give anything Even when they're a yard away They wait for the ref The refs now are so used to VAR Just bailing them out Or basically reffing the game They're now scared to give decisions It's a mess I don't know why In the fucking FA Cup There's no VAR Not every ground can have it But that ground does It's a Premier League affair Both clubs have it It blows my mind You don't even need VAR You just need to look at the replay on the screen Yeah, play it back up guys play it back on screen.
13:04The thing is though, or just open your eyes. The backlash on this could have been so much worse because... Is that the deciding penalty? Yeah, the penalty we scored straight after and the red card that should have been, they got red cards right after. So they've actually been bailed out quite nicely. If they end up beating us 2-3-0 there, it would have been... Which backs my point up and it all equals itself out. No, but I will say, you know like Trippier, he genuinely looked like baffled by that. Yeah, it's like... I would love to see Ref Cam in that game. Oh, they won't release that, will they?
13:30Because if I was a player... If you were a player You'd be losing I'd lose my mind I'd actually be losing my mind I want the ref cam In the dressing room When they look at the replay And they're like Oh you're a fucking idiot man Because like Stop showing us all the bits When they don't wear it For the rest of their day Whenever they're having A good crack at the players Whenever they're having A good crack at the players They're like releasing The ref cam Let's see the ref come to that I want to see what Is actually the Can I play their own advocate I haven't I haven't seen the Reap I haven't seen it from His angle Was he blocked Oh no I'm telling you now he's not blocked he should be able to see it there's like a player sort of in his way but mate he's not once left the box the Lionel more beef with that he's the Lionel it's 100 % the Lionel do you know what even if the Lionel has missed it like the following 4-5 seconds the following 4-5 seconds afterwards he's in the box he's still there does he think he's jumped 4 foot backwards whilst blocking it yeah it was a stinker I just want to mention quickly something that you said there Tom and ask us all after that game one by one are you still pro or against VAR?
14:33I've always been pro VAR. Yeah. That one, well, we won. So I'm, but like during that game, I was like, I'm never going to complain about VAR again. You will. I would, I know I will. But you know what? If we went out there, that would have been fucking brutal for us. So I, I mean, really, I'm not, I'm not against VAR. I'm against. We're going around one by one and we didn't say a thing again. He didn't say anything I was going to say something He just jumped in He was processing his thoughts Yeah I'm pro VAR To the competitions That are big enough to hold it Because in the games Like in the championship And lower leagues But that doesn't make sense Because the FA Cup Is the biggest domestic competition That's a very Tory view So the lower leagues Shouldn't be allowed VAR They're not big enough No but that's You enjoy the sport Because you know Whatever happens on the pitch Is how you react to it Me personally I prefer football without VAR However Now it's been introduced VAR Every ground should have VAR.
15:27The AR itself isn't an issue. It's how it's being used. It's my biggest issue. Yeah, it's always been the case, though. It's always been human error. I actually think with this game, it's easy to say, oh, we can't go without VAR. And I think Shearer said this. Actually, I just prefer refs not to do their job. Like, that's not a VAR problem. A lot of that is a referee problem. Like, they are so... Really, really, really poor decisions. Yeah. I'm sorry. When a player has went in for a 50-50 tackle, and you're all thinking, maybe, maybe red. And he takes his shin pad off, and he's got stud marks on his shin, which he did, maybe think, oh, that's red.
16:00But do you not think... I feel like this season, maybe I'm being clouded with my memory. I haven't seen a referee performance that bad. No, you are. Without VAR. I recently said they're pretty good at their jobs. Yeah, when they have VAR, I feel like they have a comfort blanket. So I think with VAR, he probably would have given that. Yeah, because they can be more assertive. If I am out, if he is out the box they'll just overturn him I was going to ask do you think referees have become worse because of the VR or do you think they don't know how to admit do you think they just would have went yep that's offside I think it's made them worse in games when they don't have it that's what I mean they may be more hesitant to make the bigger calls straight away I think naturally if you've went a whole time like if you haven't swam for a year and then you throw me back in a pool I'm going to drown no not exactly it is a little bit I'm not going to be as fast yeah but you still know how to swim yeah no but I'm not as fast of a swimmer.
16:54No, I'll be alright. I can't swim very well. Either way, Lou, you got the result. You could see it. The next round of the FA Cup. Either way, at the moment, Alanga, Ramsey, both improving over the last few games. Vultemar dropping into this sort of 10-roll, which I kind of like, even though he still won't get in the fucking box when he should. You won a game without Bruno G? Won a game without Bruno G. Tenali actually stepping up to the plate, which he hasn't done. Because he needs to step up to the plate without Bruno on the team. Those Tenali girls are so good, I can't wait to see them in an Arsenal shirt next year.
17:24after the 10. Well, this is, Bruno's out for seven weeks. Eight. Eight. Yeah, eight, seven. Six, seven. We really need Tenali to step up and he's done that there. Oh, he did. Yeah, I know. He's finally fucking striking it, which is what we should do. I wouldn't get too excited because I had 10 men, but... No, I agree, but I'd say we were, even in the first half, I thought we were getting the better side of it. I thought that, yeah, I thought it was pretty even until the stupid red card. And then again in Tottenham, we made it hard for ourselves in certain patches, but I think you're seeing improvement out of the team a little bit because Langer and Ramsey and even Willick are actually pulling their weight now which is finally good to see.
18:02Obviously the magic of the cup is still well and truly alive, guys. Shout out to League One Mansfield.
18:10I love Mansfield. Can I ask you a question, right? Go on. I'm going to fucking get angry in a minute. Go on. No, not really. Why the fuck wasn't that game on telly? Why was Liverpool Brighton on telly? Yeah. Why the fuck can we stop? Like, I'm going to contradict myself here, but Villa-Newcastle, right? I think that is a proper, like, cup tie. Villa-Park, I'm like, yeah, telly. Liverpool-Brighton? I agree completely. Really? Like, can we stop just putting Brighton on telly? They had it. They had it last round as well. They had it last round. Burton-West Ham, yeah, brilliant. Wolves-Groomsby, yeah, obviously.
18:46Newcastle, I think Newcastle-Villa, 100%. That just feels like a cup tie, yeah. We all saw two teams there who were like thinking realistically, we should try and win this competition. Brighton were never going there to win. Brighton were never, they're not realistically going to win the cup. It was three o 'clock on Saturday. Fernie Mansfield, why the fuck would you not put that on telly? That makes no sense to me. None at all. And I'm a sensible man. Even, I'm sorry, I understand it for Wigan's point of view. Arsenal, Wigan. I get that more than Liverpool, Brighton, but that's such a nothing game in the sense of...
19:20Even Arsenal, because you're not even realistically you're not going to get an upset there. Arsenal are going to batter it. It's so obvious. Yeah, and it's like that game's going to be over in like 15, 20 minutes, whatever. And then you're like, no. Yeah, it's like, well, I'm not going to watch this. I just think, I know it wasn't a great cup round in terms of draws. I think, put Mansfield on. They better be on the next round. This is a call out to the FA. Put Mansfield on telly next round. Well, it depends who they get. Doesn't matter who they get. Put them on telly. They're more likely to be on TV if they get one of the big dogs.
19:48Remember that. but you can always see even if you get Wolves even if you get Wolves put them on telly even more reason because you have a chance of an actual upset there against Wolves see who they're not getting you lot you're out yeah I mean yeah we played that's annoying one of us like draw Westbrook we know we couldn't we were terrible but he did the right thing we couldn't give it we've got so many injuries he had to play like the second team have they done the draw no it's tonight is there another game tonight yeah Mattlesfield Brentford yeah yep Speaking of Liverpool Actually sometimes it's before I don't know Speaking of Liverpool Brighton Tom Liverpool won 3-0 Comfortable Yeah Classic I'll be honest I fell asleep No surprise Yeah And I've seen the goals That's it Salah's penalty was good Is he back?
20:34Yeah Is that what you were going to say? I was going to ask about Van Dijk said he wants Salah to stay Is he back Or do you just have to still move on? I think Look Really silly It was only Last season and he broke all the records. I will say, though, Tom. He doesn't look the same. A part of the time catches up with you. Yeah, I don't think he looks the same, but he's still obviously fucking useful, isn't he? Absolutely. But is he useful enough that he can force, well, not force, he can get a big move to somewhere like Saudi or somewhere like that? He's got a lot of money. He could get a lot of money for a 30-year-old player.
21:06He could absolutely get a lot of money at this point. It's whether they value keeping Salah on for another year or selling him off for like... Or is it just time to regenerate the side? I think they should get rid of him. may as well frees up so many wages should they be more worried about losing Slobberzai who apparently wants to move to Real Madrid according to his national head coach really yeah so his national head coach said in the mirror I can see you there his dreams to play for Real Madrid is that a worry he's like a Real Madrid type player as well you know he does look like one and he might look at the situation at Liverpool now and think do you know what time for a little move in this little dull field if Real Madrid come knocking you say yes Have you seen this about like All the big teams wanting Gordon And like for like 80 to 100 mil I'm not saying that No literally No like I'm from Newcastle Reddit No like No all the major Your WhatsApp group Honestly all the major people Saying it like Especially Liverpool Then you have your Arsenal's Man United Massively in for him Anyone who pays 100 million For Gordon needs Sog Gatrick help He's good man He's good He's alright I wouldn't mind him at Arsenal actually I would Oh yeah For 100 mil Not for 100 mil Fucking hell Will, you lot scraped through against Grimsby.
22:19Yeah. Great pitch. Scraped through. You were shit as well. I know. I mean, they made us look half decent at times. Remember, you said you didn't want a smaller club in the FA Cup because you could actually go out and be more embarrassed, and you almost did do that. Yeah, I mean... No, that was me who said that. Was it? Yeah, it was painful to watch, wasn't it? It was a bad watch, that was. But it's a proper FA Cup tie. It was. I love the pitch, man. The pitch was so bad. It was so bad. Did you see when Mane tried to pass it to down the wing and the ball just stopped so he ended up just being dribbling with it?
22:50The goal map was fucking hilarious, but I write it so hard. There's a mad bar for the goal map. We scored with our only shot and target. And it just came off his knee as well, didn't it? It's a great finish. He had a good game, actually, Breno. Yeah, Breno was good, to be fair. Yeah, there's not much to talk about that game. It was fucking stinky, winky, but you're through. Maybe a little cup run, because you're down and you might as well have a good. Imagine finishing nine points and then getting the FA Cup final. You're not good with that. I mean, we're not going to make a dream. Let's calm down a bit.
23:18If Wolves won the FA Cup, where would that rank? If Wolves won the FA Cup, where would that rank amongst, like, football? Leicester Premier League kind of jobby, I think. Is it more than Leicester? No way. It's not more. It's not more, but it's like one step below Leicester. Because think about it. Yeah, if we were doing a tier list, it'd be a tier list. People are talking about they're going to break Derby's record. If Wolves win the FA Cup, you'll find me a ****. Allegedly. Allegedly. Anyways I can't believe you just said that With bigger than Leicester Well Leicester had some good players Did Robert Hooke Oh shut up you dickhead Robert Hooke Didn't nearly go down the season before Where's Morgan Yeah but they went on like An eight game win streak The season before There was Blues won the league cup When they went down Yeah One player that has One player that has Left Wolves And seems to have Started his career At Crystal Palace Strand Larson Yeah Good goals actually He's looking alright isn't he He's good was he holding back no but if he gets obviously down tools if he gets supply like he should obviously he didn't quite get it in the Wolves team he gets in the Palace team he's efficient that second header was class yeah really good but that game was mental fucking four minutes I turned it off when it was not turned off I stopped looking at my phone when it was 2-0 is that to do with you having mignot I was like oh yeah clean sheet or was this to do with you being at Mika concert instead of watching Arsenal that was a Thursday night and sorry I got given a Christmas present.
24:41Yeah, that was so good. We'll save it for backside, won't we? Not watching Arsenal about me. Save it for backside. What a football chat. You can't say no to a family member giving you a present. You're in the stunts tonight. Lollipop. That's not how it goes. Oh, yeah, sorry. No, honestly. Mate, Palace. Take it easy. Palace is... Because there is nothing. What a sort of like capitulation you've got to do for Burnley. I couldn't believe that. It's two nils. It's such a weird team. They looked electric and then 40 minutes later they're just like... Yeah. I mean, realistically, what happened? Would you not be, would Palace fans not just be against getting rid of him now?
25:17Doesn't it? Yeah. It feels like since that's all happened, they have one win in 14, is it or something? And he set his eyes on leaving as well. It's like, yeah, he doesn't have pinched. He come out after the game and he was like slagging all the players or saying that they're acting like they're playing in the park with their kids, all this. And what Palace were always good at or always have been good at is solid, hard to beat, hard to score against and Burnley are putting three against you. Yeah, yeah. In your own backyard in five minutes. Is that just a bit of complacency, thinking that Burnley...
25:48That is just literally them. I wonder what they must be thinking on the pitch there. It must be so disorganised and they're just so flustered. And then they had a whole half to get it back and did fuck all. Do you think the job to a new manager now is less appealing than it was six months ago? Yeah, possibly. But that has got Thomas Frank written all over it, Crystal Palace. Ha ha ha ha Do you think it'd be a perfect fit? Nah, it'd be a perfect fit Why? His style of football The size of the club That is Thomas Frank all over The only thing is It's not only how Frank did Tottenham It's how Brentford have done Since he left You can say that about Nuno When he went to Spurs And didn't do it Some managers just aren't suited To those bigger clubs Roy Hodgson, Liverpool There's loads of examples Thomas Frank at Palace Would be splendid Creme de la creme Some would say Potter?
26:36Nah, not that style of football, is he? Yeah. I don't think... Also, Palace have... I know they're lacking a bit of depth, but their first 11 is actually pretty good. Yeah, it's a bit... They just need depth. And it's Dan Larson scoring goals for them. He's looking like a proper striker again, which is good. I think that'd be really good. I think it would be really good. I do think Brighton are in trouble, though, looking at that. Nah, Brighton'd be like... What's happened there? Brighton was such a... They're crap. They are shit. The seagulls, man. The mighty seagulls. They're fucking seven points clear on West Ham.
27:03What's happened? West Ham are actually winning. They were such a consistently pulling off big results, top half of the table team. I feel like teams like that do just get found out because they don't... You know how Pep always changes his style? He's constantly changing and evolving. These teams kind of just plod along and then... Wait to see what Pep does. Then they get found out and it's all, fuck, now we need to check. It kind of goes into planning. The stocks are a lot higher than in reality. He actually is as a manager. He does the lack of quality. Do you remember I said this to you at the start of the season?
Read the full transcript
27:35and bottom 6 you mean no because you because obviously you've got a lot of friends who are Brighton fans you were like nah nah they love him and I was like really because I just feel like they're a bit of a nothing yeah they kind of just plod along they're just grateful to be in the Premier League how disrespectful not now they're an established Premier League team now they would have came into the season thinking we want to break into actually like progressing now and they want to be across like European football bloody hell they turned their little poor runners seems like slagged off Iriola he's actually started winning so you're welcome did Brighton have a big summer ahead of them do you think they could be sucked into it next year they're on fraud watching the transfer market I just think yeah I think they're just a good well-ranked new manager I wouldn't be against that personally I just think it's gone stagnant they've always been a club where you can't they've always been a club where you can't necessarily predict what Brighton will turn up but now it's just the case of they're just crap they're actually not very good A couple of teams I want to mention in this Premier League review here, guys.
28:38First of all is Manchester United, second of all is Chelsea. Where would you like to start? Let's start. Fergie time? Another Fergie time goal for Manchester United. Sorry, remind me. 90 plus six, Cesco. What a goal. It's coming good. The West Ham must be absolutely good. It would have been such a big three-point. I know it's a point. It's still a good point. It's still a good point, but when you get it taken away from you, it's literally like the last kick of the game. it's a bad one to take for West Ham 62 ,000 as well sell out at the London Stadium and thing is as well if you look at it was fucking loud fair play to the West Ham fans fair play look at their form comparing to other teams they're right up there so they should take a lot of confidence from us right up there in 18 if you look at their form which is what I said if you look at their form they're like top 10 in the league in the full charts they'll be like top 10 here we go here's the question West Ham what three wins in the last five.
29:31Nuno getting the best out of them. Nottingham Forest. I'm doubling down, mate. Vito Pereira, sacked by Wolves without a win. Who's staying up? Who's going down? I'm doubling down. I think West Ham and Dua, mate. I think Forest's going down. By the way, Tottenham. If Tottenham are looking shit, I swear down. I'm not even going to lie. I got laughed at for saying that. At the time, it was a deserved laugh. Saying West Ham and Leapfrog Forest. They are still three points down. No. Can I say, I'm worried more for Tottenham. I think Spurs will genuinely end up in the relegation zone at some point. They've got through in the Champions League.
30:04They've got more games as well. I think you're downplaying how bad of an appointment Vito Pereira is. He is the worst manager I've seen at Wolves. I agree. He literally left the worst team ever. Honestly, what are they doing? Is there any other job in the world where you can fail so miserably at such a high level and still get a job. By the way, a promotion. It's a promotion. Can I just close my mind? Do Forrest fans hate Mr. Maranakis? No, they love Mr. Maranakis. I understand he's done everything he's done. They love him because it's Stockholm Syndrome. I understand everything that they've done, but it does feel like the fourth manager of the season.
30:48Yeah, yeah, yeah. They absolutely love him. I love Mr. Maranakis. Fourth manager of the season. You don't have Premier League managers and managers in general at the moment. Do you think how weird it is? They just take it in turn. It's always been all that. around, Steve Bruce, Allardyce, fucking Marcus, Alan Pardew, he's always been the same and he's always blown my mind how he managed like two things. You said it about Tottenham or something, like, oh, Premier League, who's infamous to keep teams up. They had Dice there. They had Dice there. Oh, fuck off. Spurs can't go in a point. No, I'm on about Forrest.
31:19You just said Spurs? You did say Spurs. Because I'm saying that's what he said about Spurs. I'm saying Forrest have went opposing that. Like, they had a manager there who can keep teams up. Yeah, but he's been failing. He's been doing better than previous managers. He's going to do better than this manager coming in. Like, who do you think is going to have a better record? All right, hand on heart. Hand on heart. So it's like, what's the thought process? Because you're due to Wolves. I understand the shit. But lad, I'll wear it. Hand on heart. That's 32 shots, wasn't it? Was it 32 shots? Oh, 35.
31:46I mean, that also tells you how bad we are, by the way. Yeah, but Jose Sarri had his camera. And you could have won it at the end. At the end, yeah. A very quick one on Nottingham Forest. Vita Pereira's come in. Next five in all comps. Sanabache, Liverpool, Forest, Brighton City. Is there a chance he doesn't win any of them? Absolutely. That Miss Maranakis scores. Do you know what though? I could see them going to Brighton and winning. Thinking with Forest, they do have good players. Yeah. I know I do get clouded with shit. I feel like how can a team with Gibbs White and Hudson-Odoi and Elliot Anderson, how can that team go down?
32:19Because they had Amaro Hutchinson taking corners. Did you see that? You are. He took two corners and five minutes Hudson, both of them hit the side net in the front post. Mario Hutchinson. Yeah, I mean, I was like, we linked with him if they go down for 40 mil. Who's the third team that goes down? Forest. Tottenham. Spurs. I'm genuinely, I think we're about to witness something insane. I think Spurs I agree. Genuine question, you know, if they do go down, is there a new team in the big six? No, they'll just come back up and it'll be... But can you imagine the actual... Because Villarreal comes...
32:50No, can I say genuinely it'd be crazy, but... Can I say with Tottenham, with Tottenham, with Man United, there was like an obvious fix that everyone could see sort of thing where I don't feel like you can just come into Tottenham and it's going to be an instant fix and plus they haven't got a manager who we even know of really coming in. So if he starts flopping the first few years. Tottenham are too good to get out of that. Yeah, I know, but how shit are they? How shit are they? They are. Let me tell you a little side called Nottingham Forest back in Deer. What? Ryan Clough and all that. Right.
33:20They went down, Tom. They were the first to be called Too Good To Go Down Can I tell you about the fairy tale story of Leicester City How you view Spurs going down Yeah What would we want, Leicester winning the league Or Tottenham going really good I now think With disappointment, I'll give Forrest No, I still think West Ham will go down I don't think West Ham, I'm going to grind it out They're getting results Can Leeds I think Leeds will be fine What's Tottenham fixtures, Will? What's Tottenham fixtures, Will? I can tell you Tottenham have Arsenal, Fulham Palace, Liverpool Forest fucking six point against Forest Sunderland are weird they got I'm telling you if they're going to do it I'm going West down I think it's Spurs Spurs are going down I think we're going to look back at this moment how crazy are these two imagine they went down there is a world where I wouldn't be surprised if they finished like 11 go through the fixtures at the top can I say more importantly guys their last three fixtures well last four fixtures of the season Villa away leads at home Chelsea away, Everton at home.
34:23Look, Arsenal are going to lose. Yeah, games in the Premier League are hard, mate. Arsenal are going to lose. Fulham's a tricky one away. You'd never know. Palace, you'd think they'd win. Loss, Forrest, that's at six point. Yeah, Sunderland hard away. Imagine if Forrest beat Spurs in the middle of March. Yeah. Oh my God. Gideon. No, I think Spurs will be. Can I say as well, with Tottenham, they're so not expected to be in this position. So the pressure is going to ramp the more that they don't get this result and you get to what they do. Do you think they have the characters in that team who are going to crumble or not?
34:56I don't really see people who are going to like not crumble. Why? What do you mean? Who? Xavi Simmons, who's just going to fucking crumble as soon as the pressure's on him. Okay. He's been good lately. Romero's been crumbling, getting red cards every game. Van der Ven's good. Van der Ven's got his eye on the exit door. I mean, once these don't get the result, it's not like they are a West Ham. Solanke's been involved with teams I like Solanke Let's just go on the basis That both the new Forest manager, obviously Vito Pereira Is poo at the club And obviously this new Spurs manager Tudor is also bad Do you not think Spurs have Their personnel Regardless of how they manage To get out They've had it all season And look where they are Can I say devil's advocate obviously last year you know it was well documented that they prioritised the Europa League right yeah this year are they going to prioritise the Champions League no so then they have to no because last year there was never there was never any serious threat of them going down so are we going to see them rest players in the Champions League and prioritise the Premier League if it gets bad yeah probably do you see what I mean here yeah yeah because last year they were like 13 points clear but Champions League is only in a couple of weeks or is this week who've they got he's qualifying this week it's the playoffs this week A quick one about Tottenham's new manager.
36:20A little bit of info about him. It's the seventh time he's been hired by a club who were worried about relegated. All the six previously stayed up. So he's got a reputation in Italy particularly to keep teams up. I do believe that Spurs are shit and are in a bad position. And I don't think it's crazy to say they're in a relegation battle, but they will be fine. They're too good. I know, but. Genuinely. But you said that about all three teams No I haven't No I didn't Too big to go down Too good to go down Forest got too good You can't go down with Gibbs White Hudson-Doggle No I said No no no Same about West Ham Bowen I just I've said West Ham Will go down I just think in a relegation But like momentum Is like huge And like the momentum Is currently with West Ham Yeah but you don't want momentum In February You want it in April and May Well you take the points Whenever you can to be honest I mean yeah You're not going to So then momentum's not important then It is important They've got momentum coming into the back end of the season.
37:16They're not going to carry it on until the end of the season from now, are they? They're coming in with results now and they're coming into that final race with momentum at points. They're putting themselves in a better position. Obviously, ignoring the fact that you think West Ham will stay up. I think so, yeah. I think they do. You think out of a battle between Forrest and Spurs, Spurs are more likely the two to go down. I understand not. I think Forrest being Spurs. This is the thing. Did you watch them against Wolves? Yolo. All right, nice. No, no, like, you naturally would favour Forrest to go down, but I just think, weirdly, I just prefer Forrest's team and back them more.
37:52I feel like they've got bigger characters and more people who are more used to this sort of, like, level of football. Well, like you said, I think having Elliot Anderson there... Elliot Anderson's never been in a relegation battle in his life. Yeah, no, but he's not been... It's not used to just fighting at the top. Like, he's used to, like, more brutal... He's played for Newcastle, then gone to... He's played at the Old Leagues. He's in the top seven, was in the top four most of the season. He's played in the Old Leagues as well. Nottingham Forest have one of... Eli Anderson's a top level player.
38:17Which team do you think's more equipped for a relegation battle? Do you think Forest or Tottenham? Spurs, because they've got way better players. I think Forest's more equipped to it. Should we have a bet who finishes higher? Oh, you should take that bet. Well, what's the bet? That was Spurs and Forest. I'll have£100 if Spurs finish higher. I'll do 50. I've not got that one. Dude, there's... With how good Spurs are, there's every chance that they finish like... I know, but the thing I always take into account is football's crazy. There is, man. I'll take that bet that they don't finish Tottenham for 10th.
38:42Well, yeah, I mean, I was just, I was putting out there. No, no, I don't believe that they will, but we're talking about a team that's obviously really capable. Okay, let's look at last season then. How did they do? 17th, mate. The problem with Spurs is that they haven't won a Premier League football match this year. Forrest have. And ultimately, will Tottenham Hotspur win a Premier League game this year? Yes. Yeah. I tell you what, their home form is a problem. So that's yes. Yeah, yeah. Their home form's like a genuine problem. It's crazy. You took a point off from last time. Oh, God. Was that 1-1?
39:16I can't remember this that long ago. I was there. That's when Pelina took his top off. Oh, he did, yes. We had loads of experience in relegation battles. No, I didn't say relegation battles. He's played at other levels where you have to brute force it a bit. He's not like a little Javi Simmons who's a little weakling. The point that Javi Simmons is a top-level player. I feel like there's a big... Spurs also had experience of staying up last year. I think there's a way different mentality from a Forest team fighting relegation to Tottenham in terms of the pressure and the expectation. And I feel like that's going to benefit for us more.
39:46And I fancy their players for having more people who are built for it. As I say, I look at that Tottenham team. I like Solanke as a show. Romero's getting set up all the time. Van Der Ven's looking at it. A lot of them have been looking to leave. I just, like it's, and crazy things happening in football, man. Let's just see. That's true. Let's just see. Yeah, nice. Ultimately, you have to look at how the teams are playing. Forrest are playing terribly. They're actually playing worse. Now, guys, that is the end of the Premier League forward slash FA Cup review be sure to tune in next week where we discuss more Premier League action moving swiftly on lads to a little debate we like to talk about which is who's the best striker in the world not Jokarez okay if any of you have Jokarez by the way if any of you have Jokarez in this list I've got him first if any of you have him in the top 10 I'm going to be sick he's not even top 10 in the prime well we've already proven that which was a deflection and the shot was going well wide obviously I don't have Victor Jokoros first in my list I was making I feel like one of yours are going to have him in the top third he did win the Jörg Muller Jörg Muller the reason we're doing this is obviously you had the big debate last week about whether Jokoros is a good signing apparently he proved his wrong Jokoros because he scored a penalty against Burnham people were pretty split half the people the comments were on agreed with Reeve and Theo half of them sort of agreed with well so Arsenal fans agreed with him yeah yeah shall I quickly read out some of the comments would you vet every comment to be an Arsenal fan yeah What was the actual video?
41:10Was it the Premier League? I would say straight away Arsenal fans are going to comment more on this in defence of them because it's about Jokre's and the babies online so the comments are going to be a bit... The Jokre's argument will go down as one of the all-time worst conversations ever recorded by man. Sounds like a reasonable Arsenal fan. The Jokre's argument gave me a headache. How can none of them understand what any of them are saying? We can understand, we just disagree. Theo thinking Bruno won a Europa League for United is hilarious. That was just banter at the time, guys, obviously.
41:42I didn't think of one at the time. Dirt count. Yeah. Tom always says that the other person doesn't believe what they're saying. I didn't say that about Jokos, actually. I do believe, I believe you think he's good. I don't believe Reeve does. You what? Reeve grew some balls, thank God. Right, anyway. So we're getting our top 10 strikers in the world currently. Yeah. Or just... Wait, no, no, no, no. I'm more interested. No, I didn't say that. No, I know. I know, but it's implied. No, it's not. It's not implied. It's just the top 10 strikes in the world. I'm going to let you two go last. I think it's going to be more interesting.
42:20I think... Have we not? Okay. I think I've been quite reasonable and fair in this. Yeah, we're going to see. I think mine and his are not going to be that interesting to discuss. I think... But I guarantee you've got some mental cases in there. Absolutely not. I think 11, 12 and 13 are quite apt for debate, but we're not doing that. We're not doing that. It's the top 10. Right. 10th I've got Igor Thiago Yeah I like that He was great Do you know what He's actually just good Yeah You've turned on him I thought you were going to shout Yeah no I've completely He's just fucking good There is a certain point Where you have to just accept Yeah I agree And do you think By the way Brentford hold onto him Because when strikers Are so sore after Probably not Honestly it just depends On where they're finishing Yeah you should probably get him Because you haven't spent Much on strikers So you do need him We're playing fucking We're playing Azula Could he be a dark horse At the World Cup Has he got a Brazil Has he been called up for Brazil?
43:08Yeah Pedro Oh yeah Has anybody Who's played for Brentford Ever played for Brazil At a World Club? Is that a quiz question? I'm assuming not Nah I'd say no Surely not Like some rogue international style They don't really have any Brazilians I know yeah But that would be Imagine Brazilians Having some lad At Brentford What? Brazil is half American Right 9th I've got Alvarez Julian. Julian. Yeah. Eighth, I've got Martinez. Eighth? Yeah. You always see them funny tweets about Lautaro Martinez, don't you? Is he good, but is he good? No, but he bangs in goals every week when you start watching him. Well, yeah, to be fair, most of the time when I watch him, which isn't often, I'm never that impressed.
43:53But he is by far the Serie A top goal scorer. Yeah, if you just score goals in it, that's your job. That's your job. Seventh, I've got Isaac. There's a lot of good strikers. There's a lot of good strikers. Wow. Because I do put Egetiki above him In sixth Wait you've got Izak Come on man I do You didn't say Curran But he's not the Best top ten Striker He is Wait you don't Are you arguing The other way Are you arguing Not in the top ten You don't think Pete Alexander Izak You can't have Such short memories To not have Izak in here Last year he was Like third in the For like the last Three years We've all agreed He's arguably The best in the Fucking league He said he was Number one striker In the world I can't even be Asked to get in With him putting Him seventh I'm only going to allow it because he's injured.
44:35I feel like you can... He should have him first or second. No. I didn't... Whatever. You can't do it at a big club. Some people can't do it at a top club. What did you just say? Like a Liverpool. You can't do it at a big club? No. Oh, interesting. Very interesting. Yeah. So, sixth Eketike, fifth Lewandowski, fourth Dembele, third Mbappe, second Haaland. Mbappe? Mbappe? Second Haaland and first Harry Kean who's hit 500 goals. He has. 100 of them. Which are penalties? A couple more in the World Cup, please, Harry. Right, mine's pretty similar. I've gone 10th Igor Thiago, 9th Lewandowski just because of his age.
45:14Do you know what, though, Tom? You say that. He's still doing it, though. He's banging it in. I know. He's sharing. There's a player that you missed out on the list, I thought. Oh, do you not think that's really all? We'll see. I'm not going to act like I watch most of these strikers. I only watch really But he's sharing minutes with another striker. and both of them are banging them in Ferran Torres he can't be in this list mate why not he's just shitting hold it he's not I thought you don't watch Barcelona how would you know that no I mean he's just shitting he's not though is he because you watch him against Chelsea he's fucking dog shit 8th I've got Martinez 7th Alvarez 6th Eketike 5th Isaac 4th Dembele 3rd Haaland 2nd Mbappe 1st Kane interesting as a 9 over Gylian I just who Haaland sorry which way no you said Harlan below killing Habafe yeah right why do you think that he's just inevitable every time I check Raul Majid he scored on that trick just fucking try on don't get me wrong like Mbappe is just a better player than Harlan I agree with that I just don't think he's a better it was specified as striker you know his position for Raul Majid is number 9 and he has yeah he's been playing 9 for like the last 2 years I know but there's an argument this season I'm not saying it's a stupid this season Harlan's got 29 and 37 Mbappe's got 38 and 31 Yeah.
46:30Yeah. You're back, Harland. Yeah, back Harland. If we just agreed on everything we'd say, there wouldn't be a discussion about top. You would, but Mbappe offers you more, doesn't it? Yeah, I think as a player, it's no question. I think as an actual striker, Harland's my... But Mbappe is an actual striker. It's not his fault he's versatile and can play out wide as well. Yeah, he is. Yeah, no, but I feel like ranking best player to best striker is a different question. Well, that's why I've got Kane ahead of him. I think you could argue Mbappe's first, to be honest, but... It's close. We should do a best footballer in the world list as well.
47:02We should. Best footballer in the world. Just so you can put Mbappe first. Oh, I filmed with him. Shall I go? You've been angry, so I presume yours is different. One name different to everyone else. We've got 10, Victor Rossi men. I nearly had him in. He's got 15 and 22. He's also scored 6 and 6 in the Champions League this year. And that's been amazing. Between him and Martinez for me. I just started the league. How does that make sense If you've got Thiago 10th You've all said He got Thiago And I just think Ossie men would be A better striker I do prefer Ossie men I don't know I think Thiago's cleaner Not like Hygienically I mean I think Ossie men Can be quite Ossie men Ossie men Is the argument Not that he's doing it In the Champions League Thiago isn't it Yeah yeah No because This stage of the Champions League Is that Premier League bias My dad could still play in that I think Fugazi But that was the only Cornflip for me anyway I think it's more impressive to what Thiago's doing in the Premier League than what Ossie Mane's doing in the Champions League because the Champions League initial stage is dog shit.
48:03It's both in fourth. Precisely. So is yours. Ninth, I've got Latoura Martinez. Eighth, Eketike. Seventh, Julian Alvarez. Sixth, Lewandowski. Five, Alexander Izak. I think this stock's not really changed. You can't forget how good he is. Fourth, Dembele. Ballon d 'Or at number nine. Three, Mbappe. Two, Haaland and one, Kane. Yeah. It's an interesting... Dembele's an interesting one, isn't he? Because he's a converted striker. Yeah, but that would be the same as killing Mbappe. Mbappe was more of a nine, though. When Dembele plays as a striker, when you play him in that position... Oh, no, I agree.
48:40I agree. I'm saying it's wildly impressive what Dembele has done. I agree with you. He almost plays more like a false nine as well, doesn't he? But you can't not have him in. I did forget Isaac. That's fine. Did you forget? No, you didn't forget. Forget or omitted. No, no, wait. That's not what you said before. You literally argued that you should be in. That's not what you said. You actually said, wait, what? Still. Yeah. That's what you said before. No, you're trying to see it. You've forgotten. You've forgotten yourself a little bit there. I forgot about Izak. Just hold your hands up and say, I did this list currently and I think he's not top 10.
49:13Clear the replay. No, because even when I do... No, because now we've explained it to him. He now thinks, oh, fuck yeah, he should be in. He's obviously... I meant you were wrong. Don't say you forgot. I didn't even consider him for my list so you didn't forget hold your hands up and say I think he's shit no I don't think he's shit get in the comments right now roast his fraud I don't think he's shit he is shit it's alright no he's not he is that's interesting to see who would be replacing him it will be interesting to see what Isaac is like when he returns because of this reoccurring injury and if he's going to get sorted or what not it jokes like he's had no pre-season then he had a dodgy start then he had an injury then he's back and then injury again.
49:51His fitness is going to take a long time. Look at the quality of player he is. No, no, I agree. But then you've also got Eketika. What's Eketika going to do? He's going to cook. Do you know what I mean? It's an interesting talking point. It really is. In 10, I've got Igor Thiago. 18 and 27. He's just fucking sick, isn't he? In 9, I've got Ferran Torres. I think you were a bit disrespectful to Ferran Torres. He's come in. Again, he wasn't really a striker at City. No, yeah. And he's playing up front. He was crap at City. Yeah, I agree. But one of the best sides in the world. and I know Lewandowski's obviously getting on a bit but they're both battling for minutes and they're sort of sharing minutes and both banging goals.
50:24They've got 22 between them in the league, haven't they? 16 and 32 for Ferran. In eight, I've got Hugo Eketike. 16 and 32, that's not that good. For sharing minutes. A lot of those appearances would be off the bench as well, like 30 minutes here and there. Fair enough. You're coming with ball knowledge. Yep, thank you. Eketike in... 10, 9, 8. Why don't you ever number? I have, but they're all over the place. I missed out a number. He's changing his list. I don't know if he has changed his name his list of one name nine, eight Julian Alvarez you just said eight you said eight was Eketike seven Julian Alvarez so that would be six okay I'm back on the six just number them oh my god just next time you put one to ten it's so much easier to read I forgot to number one person so it doesn't make sense six Lauturo Martinez five I've got Lewandowski do you think genuine question do you think Lauturo Martinez is better than Eketike and Alvarez.
51:18I do. I think Martinez has done it for a lot longer. He's doing it, he's also like just smashing Champions League. By the way, he's so clear as Serie A golden boot right now, it's crazy. Yeah, but the goal callie isn't that impressive in that league. I know you're going against Lukaku in that league. He's got like 14 in like what? And then it's like eight in the second place. But it just shows he is a level above everyone in that league. Can I, you know if Arsenal were to be given the chance of Eketique, Alvarez or Martinez? Eketique. Okay. Interesting. He's younger as well. Yeah, but you're not going to get the chance.
51:49That's a silly one. You're not going to get the chance of Ekotiko. I wish we had. Yeah, look, Paz, no wonder Bournemouth won him. Eight goals in second. Hoyland there, joined second. Yeah. Marcus Turan as well. Yieldies is good. Five Lombardowski, four Dembele, three Erling Haaland. He changed his list. He's changed his list. He's put Dembele in. He didn't have him, pretty sure. Yeah, he changed it before we started recording, which you're allowed to do. Oh, my. You can't change the list. He changed it based off convos. Who was in his stand Out of interest Who did you have? It would have been Move everyone up And put Awesome men in 10 So you've cheated Well done Before the show started Invalid list Carry on Invalid Invalid Before the show started I'm not saying It's against the rules I'm just saying It's foul play So it's fine then I'm saying it's like The equivalent of Pulling someone's hair But the ref doesn't Blow the whistle Do you care?
52:37Yeah If it went to VAR mate You'd be sent off Well The reason I didn't Have him originally In my list We don't care you've cheated you said he wasn't a nine I don't think it's an interesting one like yeah you won the Valendor playing up front but is he a striker he is now I know but you know Dembele's an interesting one but I guess you have to but after your conversation I listened to you I think yeah you probably should have the question's more like even if he isn't a striker when you play him before the show started the question is even if he's not a striker when you play him as a striker where is he it's up to the ref to decide the question's more like not if he's a striker but when he plays in that position where does he rank as in the top 10 It's like Mourinho.
53:14Like, when Mourinho plays as a striker, is he a top 10 Premier League striker? Mourinho. There's a bit of question marks over Dembele's future, isn't there? He's had a little bit of a public spot with Enrique. I haven't seen that. So PSG is second in the league. Who's top Marseille? Top RC Lens, Lens. Were they? Jesus. But what I'm seeing is that Dembele apparently isn't signed a new contract. links with Arsenal potentially bloody hell can we afford it Arsenal won't pay you it'd be about 500 million wouldn't it that'd be interesting if you did 500 million then yeah it's got Harlan in three Mbappe in two and Kane in one wow universal I mean I thought you put Mbappe ahead not as an out and out nine I think Harry Kane is just he's the best man yeah but if 41 in 35 goals do you think he signs a new contract but then Mbappe's 38 in 31 if there was a game tomorrow and your life depended on it you could only pick one of them players to play up front for you.
54:13Who'd you pick? I'm Baffo. I'd pick I'm Baffo. Oh, shit. But this is, do you think like, is it not just Harry Kane doesn't get the, I know he's starting to get the credit, but it's because he doesn't have the flair. I just can't. He does have the flair. No, but you know like I'm Baffo, like Pacey's trying to get it. No, I do think. What is it about Harry Kane? We had this argument last time. I think people, there is a bee in people's bonnet with Harry Kane in massive moments. He has often gone missing. It is just true. And I understand there's other factors, injuries, blah, blah, blah, the team around him, all that shit.
54:41But, difference is, and don't get me wrong, Mbappe's gone missing in big games as well. It's impossible for all, for top players. Always perform in big games, like the Messi's and Ronaldo's, because they're just free. But the problem with Mbappe, he has done it. But Mbappe has done it in the biggest moments. He won World Cup, scored a hatch in the World Cup final. The big question mark with Mbappe though is he's gone to Real Madrid, serial winners, won squad holes. I know, but then again, the caveat to that is he's done his job, hasn't he? Yeah. But has he done a detriment to the team? Possibly.
55:09I've always said that about him like at PSG and stuff but I just think if... I don't think so. I feel like this World Cup is going to be a big one for Kane to sort of settle because like we spoke about this before and Mbappe has just had more big occasions to rise to but I agree in the big ones Kane's been in he hasn't done it but like this World Cup like he has to be the talisman. I don't even think that's true. I feel like overall... He has. He's been like Kane spent a lot of years at Tottenham. Mbappe's been... They got to a Champions League final. I know but like I'm saying Mbappe's been around more.
55:39Kane's had the odd occasion, yeah, but overall, even with France, naturally he's had more big occasions. I think if you went through, what do we define as a big match? I feel like Mbappe has way more. He's made two World Cup finals. Kane's had four big runs in major tournaments for England. To be fair, the caveat to that as well is England could have had that many if Kane showed up in other games to get us there, so it works both ways. That's what I mean. if you put a gun to my head tomorrow do you know why we're picking Mbappe though Tom I think is that even though we're saying Harry Kane is a better striker Mbappe's a better footballer do you think yeah better forward but then the way Harry Kane it's so hard to compare the way Harry Kane right now for Bayern Munich is dropping deep and starting spreading balls like a central midfielder he's always done that's why he's going to be in a central midfielder but you can get away with that against fucking Augsburg and it's like do you see that goal Alise scored the other day when you just walk through them It's like, that league is shit, isn't it?
56:37Do you think he stays there? Or do you think he comes back to the pram? Because it's getting to the point where it's all about contract talks, isn't it? It has to be Spurs. I think he might stay, mate. Nah, because Kane doesn't rely on athleticism, so Kane could come back in two or three years. Could it be like... Kane wants the Champions League. So where does he... Like the Rooney effect. Where would he go? Spurs, he'll come back to Spurs. Is Man Utd not getting him and go over Hoyland one of the biggest howlers in transfer history? I think Kane is more likely to go back to Spurs if England win the World Cup?
57:07Because then, like, probably him wanting to win the Champions League will be less on his radar because he's won the World Cup. In a weird way, does that make sense? If a team challenging for the league's in for him, I think he pies off Spurs. Like, he has his legacy there, but he has his legacy there now. But would he go back to Spurs if they're getting relegated? If a player is kind of... He could end with a Premier League title if he chooses the right team. Apparently, Munich are talking know how he can, but actual negotiations are yet to start, but he is not I think he might stir. I think it depends on the summer.
57:42The summer will be big for him. If he flops again for England, I'd half think he'd stay in Munich for an hour, just get more trodden, do you know what I mean? Just kind of stay away from England. He's 33 this year. Do you think he'll retire from international football after the World Cup? No. He just keeps going one of them ones. He doesn't need to, does he? Who's like the next English striker in the line behind no like coming in Watkins is getting on a bit we haven't really got like a hand coming through have we like you have to lap but like he's not going to fill Harry Kane's boots is he oh my god you're right yeah I don't know who is going to fill Harry Kane's boots it's going to be a big gap when we lose him there is just a bit of a a lack of there is a lack doing this list there's a lack of strikers is there a hope that Marcus Rashford gets that back nah because he's a winger I think he'll start on the left for England as he should but nah we yeah we've fucked on K realistically there'll be some new talent in two three years get me in genuinely this is this World Cup's our last chance for what yeah forever just like England won in the World Cup this year oh don't say that mate you're wearing an England top you came with an England top who are you to say you're wearing a fucking England top blasphemy hasn't even got the star hasn't even got the star in it by the way Is Dortmund going to win the Champions League?
59:04No. Oh, what the fuck is coming in a Dortmund fight? He's not German. I didn't say it though. I didn't openly go Dortmund, I'm going to win the Champions League. And he's not German. Don't say that much. Well, actually, maybe you should have some fear. I don't think, I don't know. What was doing there last night? We got Winner as our manager. They won't. He's the second highest win percentage other than Sam Ardice. They won't deal with the, we got Tommy T. They won't deal with the weather. They fucking pissed on our bonfire, man. That's just my opinion. We didn't lose the game in qualifiers. We're the best team in the world.
59:30Dinkes need a go either. And have the best striker. We're going to select Harvey Barnes. And we've got Deckers.
1:00:06We're going to win the World Cup guys. No. Who's England's most important player? Declan Rice. For this summer. Or Harry Kane. Harry Kane. It's got to be Kane, isn't it? Yeah. There's no... Rely on goals. There's no one else to replace him. Do you think Ivan Tordy's going to make the squad? Well, he says he wants to leave Saudi to play for England again, hasn't he? Could do. Just come out and said that. How does that work instead of transfer? How does he do that? He'll have to wait until the end of the year now, won't he? No, I think that... And then he won't play football. but I think he's eyeing up the next one in the UK because the next one's in the UK so not this World Cup they've won I'm assuming so I don't know what it is no it would be that with the Euros he won't be around for the next World Cup the next World Cup he's sour oh sorry go back I thought he said yeah maybe we need to do a video what recruit English strikers here bring back Wien Rooney FIFA we need you Wien Rooney street striker and find England's next Harry Kane.
1:01:05I was actually going to do that for a series. I spoke to a brand about it. I know I spoke to you about it. Yeah, loads of pros. But we should do a video. Why didn't you find the new Wayne Rooney? Why don't we, all four of us, audition to be England's backup striker as a video? Right. Tommy T, if you're watching, we're waiting. Anyway, moving on. Well, we touched on Spurs earlier in the episode. Obviously, huge game coming up this weekend. It's the Norvlander Derby. And we all are in the agreement that Arsenal should probably win that. but conversely on the other side you never know I've told you Derby game new manager bounce you never know what might be going to happen no I'm still going to batter him but what we are going to do now guys is we are going to do a tier list of Spurs keep or sell we have a sheet here with all of the names on it just like we did Man City Reeve absolutely mate we are prepared now we have to get a sheet printed out for Theo because he doesn't know all their names from seeing their faces yeah so we're going to decide if Spurs should keep or sell all of their players that was my favourite segment for the Prem managers one Wait, who's that?
1:02:04I'm trying to guess the name. This is, yeah, Spurs' 25 most expensive signings. Very quickly, lads. No, it's not. No, it's not. It's their squad. We're doing keep or sell. Are you already intro'd it? Oh, fucking hell. Look at the tier list. One keep, one sell. It's like you didn't listen to a thing either. I intro'd the whole thing and you just came in with the worst one. We do have fun and games, eh? Yeah, we have fun. We're all here for just good fun and good banter. We've got Carlo Mouane. who's on loan though, isn't he? But is it obligation to buy or is it... Wait, are we not doing it goalkeeper team?
1:02:37Obligation to buy for 25 mil, I believe, Tom. What do you think about Mouani so far Tottenham then? I think he's alright. I'd keep him. Just like everyone else though, isn't he? How many has he scored? It's interesting because he was so tipped to just be amazing. Was he? Well, he seems to have missed that sitter in the final. Yeah. He's gone downhill. Martinez living rent free. I mean, you keep him. You keep me He's cheap If he's not starting He's a good If it's 25 mil To buy him for 25 I think you'd Yeah I think You'd do that I mean He's alright man He shows a bit Yeah to bring him on You hear how he's So long cut from Yeah building for the future There is No option Callers included Oh So why does he say 25 mil Is that just his value His value yeah Oh Well Maybe just go sign someone else then Sell Yeah I would sell him then So how can we keep or sell him Wait keep him?
1:03:33You fucked it, you've absolutely got him. No, get rid of him in the season. Yeah. Goodbye. Richarlison though, you've got to sell him. Sell him. Really? I'm sick of him. Yeah. No, I'd keep him for Spurs. He's a good squad player. He's injured. I know, but he'll be on big wage, isn't he? I mean, you get a bit of money in. Tottenham are going to have to rejig things, so we're going to have to get rid of some people. I think he's a good option. How many strikers do you need at a club, really? Two, three? No. Oh, four. Five, six, seven. Well, if we get rid of Colomarani and Richarlison, they'd only have two left.
1:04:02Yeah, but you get new players, don't you? I think we... I vote keep. Nah, sell. I think sell. Pigeon. Tide and boat. Sell. Yep. Bye-bye Richarlison. Go back to Everton. Tell. This is a loan to buy. Sell, man. He's crap. They can have no players. I know. They'll sign some new ones. He is only 20. He is only 20. I don't rate him one bit. How much was he? He's a loan to buy, isn't he? Yeah, but how much? He's valued about 30 million. Wait, has he not been bought? He's bought a loan to buy us last year, so he's been bought this year, no? Permanent deal for approximately 30 million pounds. Yeah, he was on loan last year.
1:04:37Look, you give him a bit more time, don't you? You have to, you can't. You give him what, like one season when the team's in a shitty transitional year. He's 20 years old. He's 20 years old. He's terrible. Even if he's second fiddle for the next person. He's terrible. Where is the next person? Everyone's terrible at one point until you become good. That's not true. That's facts. No. keep him man he's 20 years old I'd keep him I'd keep him as well second season time will tell third season kudos keep keep keep yeah keep how long's he have for yeah that was a bad injury for him Salanky for Spurs to not not have him keep Salanky keep Salanky yeah I like him do you think he's good enough to be the main man up front next season Salanky yeah if you surround him with the right players I think he's you can't be picky we just did our top 10 You can't really be too picky at this point.
1:05:27I like him a lot. By the way, that's an interesting one. If Solanke has a really good end to the season, does he go on the plate? He's not all the question. I mean, like, what choices we got? Like, Watkins isn't setting things... Well, Watkins is probably number two. So number three would be, like, Cavaloon, Solanke. Cavaloon will be in with a shout for the Euros. I think Solanke has a really strong end to the season. Sorry, who did I just say? Cavaloon. Oh, I meant Solanke. Yeah. I think it'll be him or Cavaloon. Warwick? No. so if you had to choose between either of them yeah that one could crash him down for the playing right now I'm going Carver Lewin like but like nah you've got to give Solanke Solanke's a little bit more like Kane I know man you'd go Solanke think about the dream for free free for Solanke I think so yeah not me I'd keep he's young he's got a bit he's getting better yeah he's injured as well now yeah it's that's what I mean it's grim viewing for Tottenham yeah Or both of the next two.
1:06:26This is why they're struggling, right? Madison, yeah. Both their tens out for what? The whole season? Well, Madison's is an ACL, isn't it? Kulisewski's. He looks very aged on that, doesn't he? Kulisewski? Do you think Madison will come back next season and be even better? I think Madison's Madison, isn't he? He's dirty this year. Yeah, he'll be the same player. He's a good player. Streaky. Good six games. Bad six games. Injured for six. good six games bad six games I like Manus injured for six and then he hits it for six in cricket it's like the same format as the Tudors divorced but he died divorced but he survived Henry VIII yeah but what would you say the Tudors just Henry VIII because he's your manager ah very nice Kulisewski yeah keep what's going on with Kulisewski what's his injury where's he been how long has he been injured for his cock has fallen off is he ever coming back full season injury wasn't it no way that went to someone else as well he's dead back on Yeah, your dad.
1:07:23That's mental. Oh, my. Okay. Javi Simons? Keep. Keep. He's starting to be all right. Do you think Javi Simons next season's the one where we see him? I hope so. I think he's got the ability. It has to be. It's his physicality. And I think once he gets another pre-season after getting accustomed to the league this season, next year, booyah. Does he get, like, with all Madison Kulusevsky and... And Xavi Simmonds fit. Who's the one that plays 10? Madison. And then Xavi Simmonds on the left. It's really dependent on how Xavi Simmonds is looking at that point, isn't it? It's good to say that he was unreal for them, wasn't it?
1:08:01Yeah, he was. So you play more the eight, though. Yeah. I think you play Xavi on the left. I think it's just good to have that depth. If you want to be a top team, you need to have depth. You need depth. And also, Xavi Simmonds might have a good World Cup. Yeah, good luck. Yeah, okay. Friend of the show as well. Damn, you're speaking facts, my G. Is he a friend of the show? Very good friend of the show. Filming video.
1:08:22Yeah, keep. Perhaps so. Keep. Keep. I think he's good. I like him. Is he? I think so. When you compare him to the likes of Basuma. Yeah, keep. How old is he? He's 23. Yeah, keep. Gallagher. Yeah, Gallagher, keep. The next three, keep. Archie Gray. Archie Gray and Bergvall. Bergvall's good, wasn't he? Bergvall's clever. I know he's injured at the moment, but he was good. And he's 19 as well? 20 now, yeah. What have you made of Gallagher so far, I suppose? Spurs. It's exactly what you expect. Yeah, not great, but he is what he is. He's like a Labrador. Did you hear Ange on, briefly on Stick to Football, didn't he?
1:08:57He talked about how he said, you know, what's the Spurs, our Spurs, and he said they didn't really, he didn't get, but he wanted all these players. It was a wage issue, wasn't it? But instead he got three teenagers. He got three teenagers. He got Solanke and two teenagers. He makes some good points about like the slogan being to dares to do and then they just not do any. Let me ask you, But now will these players after these years now? Maybe next season is the year they start to blossom. Who knows? Maybe it's a long, long, long-term project. Yeah, but Spurs shouldn't be a team where they've got three, four players they're waiting to blossom.
1:09:30Do you know what I mean? Well, next season they'll blossom in the championship, no? According to you guys. Well, they actually would blossom then. What were your thoughts on that Ange interview? Because I've... I thought he's brutally honest. I loved it. It's got some criticism. I've always liked him. I like the way he's... I just think he's really... He'd be a great pundit, him. A few people have said that he never wants to blame himself or anything like that. Do you agree with any of that? He never does, to be fair. And he sticks to what he believes in. Whether you agree with that or not, you can't not fault his style of what I do is what I do, whether you like it or not.
1:10:01If you are him, he's looking at it. He's like, look, we finished fifth and then I won you a trophy and got you a championship. So like, maybe it is part of it. And he's like, like he said himself, he was 13 points. Obviously, it's not acceptable. Well, 13 points clear. They won a trophy. Kind of got thrown to the walls at Forest, didn't he, with their style compared to his style. That was never going to work. We all knew that. Hopefully they touch on the Forest thing in the next episode because he's on the full episode next time, isn't he? The only briefly. But I like the way he was honest about Spurs.
1:10:25Do you think they'd be doing better this season if they kept Hans? Yeah. Do you know what I think is quite interesting though? I wonder how Spurs fans... We wanted him to stay, didn't we? I know Spurs fans love him, but I wonder how they'd feel after that interview. Because your manager's almost basically saying like... No, I think they agree. His team is just like... I think it's been known. He's just confirming it. Yeah. I think especially with how the fans are feeling about the club at the current point, they'll be like fucking yes bring some light to it fucking yes aye because that'll be their frustration isn't it always has been the transfer side of it I've seen it I've seen the clip I really like I've always liked him I can see why players like him as well I'm really I am quite sad that he didn't stay with Tottenham I would have loved to see him how he did I would have been very curious to see what he did in the Prem this year he was in the Prem this year yeah with Tottenham right okay right Archie Greg Berg, Val, keep.
1:11:18Basuma. Get fucking grid. How much? And where to? Fucking two million to Albion. Actually, no, we can get it out of here. He actually played all right the other week, but he has got ability. That's not a great statement for a footballer in the Premier League. He's got to go. He played all right a couple of weeks ago. Well, considering he's not played at all all season and then come in and was like their man of the match. I can't remember the game it was. Pelinia. Probably Newcastle. Pelinia. Keep. I'd send him back. I'd say get rid of him. He's only been like half season I know but he's 30 and he's now Is he online?
1:11:49Any obligation? I don't know He's nothing like who's going to carry them is he? He's 30 years old Big wages probably How old's Ben? They'll be splitting the wages with Bayern don't they? I know but if they keep They have an option to buy I'd send him back Get him back They can do better than that Yeah There's better people out there and there's better people at the club who they can play That's not the type of midfielder they need They need someone who can progress the ball I think Gallagher can do your running for 27 million huh it's 27 million nah no chance leave it Bayern Munich will probably Bayern Munich is giving him I was going to say they want to get rid of him time as fucking tell go on have him he's shit yeah I can tell he's done it so sell Bentancur keep I'd keep Bentancur he's decent do you know what these injuries are fucking brutal unfortunately the injuries are to the best players we've decided no they are like the long term injuries as well Oh, it's fucking brutal.
1:12:45Pedro Porro. Again injured. How old is he? Injured again. Mate, I'm sorry. How's this team going to stay up? They haven't got anyone. I'd keep Porro. When are a lot of these players even back? End of the season. Yeah. A lot of them, yeah. And when they're back, they're in the championship. And then they're going to leave. So they might never play for Spurs again. So they only signed Gallagher in January, was it? Yeah. Pedro Porro, keep. He's good. He's a good footballer. Needs me a bit more defensive minded, I think. But going forward, he's fantastic. He's good, man. Suza. Suza. I've got no idea.
1:13:16Yeah, I've got no opinion. Keep him. What does the no entry sign mean? He's probably on loan somewhere else. From Santos. He's on loan to Santos. Is that Agland? He has that as well. He's not eligible for the next game in the Champions League. Oh, okay. Ah. DJ Ed Spence. Friendless job? He, I feel like... Keep. Keep DJ Ed. He's not been at the level he was. I know, but who's going to be on the obstacle? No, no, I keep him. But the whole squad's been... But do you know what I mean? Like, he was at one point we were tipping him to be, you know, arguably England starting right back or left fake. He played both sides.
1:13:50Now he's really fall out of... He's fall out of fame a little bit. There's an element of like, who would you... Will he upgrade on that position as well so he did get rid of him? It's like, I can't really... He's played well when the squads play well. Yeah. He's been one of their better players this season for sure. DJ Ed Spence. Great, great friend of the show as well. DJ Ed. A doggy. Another injury side. Oh my God. I thought he was back. 23. Not according to this, mate. I'd probably keep him as well. He's all right. There was a time where we were really bigging him up, weren't we? He was really good his first season.
1:14:22It was massive, yeah. So was Vicario, though. It was good. We're keeping him. Ben Davies. Keeping a doggy. I think it's time to go. I think keep, just because sometimes you need the person. No, no, you need someone who knows the club, yeah, and has... Keep the culture. Yeah, I don't mind that. I feel like, just for a little while to gel it over... He's like the last of the old God, really. I think it's always is the worst thing you can do. At the moment, we're saying that their team is alright. Just get rid of some of the dead wood. Yeah, but a lot of the ones... They can't afford to get rid of players?
1:14:49A lot of the ones we've put in keep are out for long-term injuries. More young. Yeah. Danso. Ugh. I don't like Danso or Dragerson. No, I'd probably keep Danso over Dragerson, definitely. Dragerson came with They've got to keep some of them. Get rid of both and get noose and arse. Dragerson came with like a lot of promise. Van der Ven's probably going to go in, well where to Liverpool he wants to leave yeah he wants to go to Liverpool you were just saying that weren't you he's leaving like there's no way he's looking at how Tottenham are on his own level and he's like I'm not saying it that's what I mean I think Dancer would be good cover to be fair Dancer and Dragson would be good in the championship haha that's the third time you've used that joke hello there I'd keep him and then get rid of Dragson they signed him for quite a lot didn't they Dragson yeah it was like 40 mil I'm sure he came with a big yeah that's what I mean He's so bad.
1:15:41I don't write him one bit. It's shit. Are we really keeping Dancer? Dragos is signed for 21, rising to 26. Who? 26. 26 million. I thought it was more than that. I thought it was 40. I think we get rid of Dancer. I mean, you look at that. He hasn't really lost too much value, but he's not that low. So they're only sending back as Romero moving forward. Well, they have Vandermen for now. They're going to sell him though? For now they got him. And then they can use that money to reinvest in the center. But we're choosing who to keep and sell, and we're going to choose to sell Vandermen because he wants to leave.
1:16:10You've got to keep one of them. I just think 50-50. They want to push on. When we did the end... So, go right then. If they want to push on, let's keep one centre-half. By three. Can you remember when we did the one player to keep and sell for each team? Who did you see for Tottenham? Don't. Okay. So, just a little bit on Romero and van der Ven. Apparently, Tottenham expect these two to go in the summer. Both of them. Both of them to go. Apparently, I've just seen this knocking around Atletico want Romero yeah such an Atletico hey Argentinian set up oh my god he gets sent off every week the most Atleti defender I've ever seen him online that's going to be class yeah apparently they're two going 70-80 million pounds they want that's good mate they're but Romero Tottenham man what's up what about Van de Ven how much is he he'll be about the same apparently Real Madrid are interested in him oh my god should we just put both of them in cell in La Liga I think yeah You're going to have to sign Full centre back They're going to get 150 mil Yeah they'll go sign Some centre backs Get them gone Romero's by the way He's pissing me off With his fucking red cards Fuck Your team's Fucking destroyed By injuries Everyone's shit And you're getting yourself Sent off every game He got sent off once Still feels like every game He should have been Sent off another game though He was really lucky He's one of the most Red card players In Premier League history It's pathetic Six Nine So we're putting them In set on the basis that we think they can get money in there.
1:17:39Yes. Revamp the whole defenceman. That sounds familiar. Get them gone. How good are they? They should be going down the Theo Baker route. No, no, no, no, no, because they're actually linked and wanting to leave. Yeah. Robin Roofs doesn't want to leave Sunderland. He'll leave at the end of the day, mate. But are we not doing this for the success of the club? We think they should be kept. If I speak, I'm in trouble. No, because Van Der Ven and Romero want out, so you don't want them there. When you can get 160 million for the two of them. You don't want to keep Van de Ven there against his will.
1:18:08Against his will? I'm a little bit lost with this now then. What do you mean? That's really not that hard. If you're a manager and your player's really unhappy, look, I'll give you all these good years, we want a trophy, I want to go, and you'll say no. So you're saying, yeah, cool, cash in, and then they can hopefully reinvest that better. Would the argument at the other side of that be, if they finish 17th, they're going to finish 15th, they sell the two best players. Yeah. Are they not going to go like that down? Who wants to go and sign for Spurs? Spurs is still an attractive club to play.
1:18:34for the same way. They'll go and sign another van der Ven like they did from Wolfsburg. They finish back-to-back 17th not in European football. Who wants to sign for them? People will still sign for Spurs because he's Spurs. Not the quality they want though. No, that's unfortunate. No European football. That's unfortunately the nature of the beast, isn't it? You're not going to... The same way Man United have had to lower their standards on who they sign. Man United aren't going out signing the best players in the world. They've had to go to like Acuna and Umbuemo. Finding the best players in the league.
1:18:59Umbuemo and Umbuemo. Yeah, they're not the best players in the league. They were definitely up there I can't imagine I can't see Spurs Even signing that level But Man United aren't going out Signing fucking like Di Maria's anymore Or do you know what I mean They're back to lower Their standards Yeah but I mean You're not seriously arguing that That they haven't Had to lower their standards They're definitely Lower their standards In terms of global superstars But they're still trying to buy They're still trying to buy The best players in the league Best players in the league Ain't going to Spurs Hypothetically for you They never do Hypothetically for you When have Spurs ever signed The best players in the league I don't know They haven't Some of the best players In the league When?
1:19:35Solanke What? He was one of the best players In the league How hypothetically He was one of the best Bikes in the league At the time You've changed it now He was one of the best players In the league When they signed him He had a good season Didn't he? I can't really He was second Top goal In the league Why did no other team In the league Going for him? I don't know They might have done At the time They didn't That's the answer They didn't 19 Premier League goals that season he had a great season he wasn't one of the best players in the league so in your opinion off like he wasn't you think Igor Thiago is one of the best alright then was Chris Wood one of the best players in the league just because he scored 20 goals he's one of the best strikers in the league yeah he was at the time for that season you understand what I'm saying you're just trying to be a bit pedantic I'm not I'm really not you say when have Spurs ever gone for some of the best players in the league at the time Solanke finished what second fourth in the golden boot race behind Isaac Palmer Harlan 19 non-penalty goals that Spurs going after you said non-penalty goals?
1:20:37they're all non-penalty goals I don't think they were yes they were I don't think he was on pens for Bournemouth no they were all non-penalty goals that was the whole thing about it really? yeah it's a brain fog's gone maybe but not maybe 100 % even so he was I don't know why we're arguing this it's like saying Ollie Watkins is one of the best players in the league he's not is he he's one of the best strikers in the league but that doesn't make you one of the best players in the league there's a lack of strikers in the league but going after certain positions just because you can still be one of the best right backs in the league and not be one of the best players in the league precisely you've just backed my argument up yeah I'm saying that okay wait so a certain player in each position just because they cannot consider the best player in the league even though they're best in their position they can't be considered I back you I just think what you were trying to say you didn't Theo you said one of the best players in the league when actually you meant one of the best players in their position in the league.
1:21:29Yeah, but that also could be, again, that could be considered one of the best players in the league if they're best in the position. Yeah, I agree. I'm going to say anyone considered him. Solange took two penalties that season, scored one, missed one in the Premier League. So he got 18 out of his 19 were non-penalties. I mean, that's pretty fucking good. 100%. 100%. 100%. 100%. 18 non-penalty. I agree with your logic. It's just the fact that you are 100%. I'm more right than he was. I agree. How did you hurt that out? I don't think that's true, and I was right. I've got a question for you. So, like, hypothetically, say they sell those centre-backs, what sort of level of centre-back would Tottenham be attracting?
1:22:08Do you know what I mean? Like, so just name a player, and you think that's their level of player that they'd be able to attract. Probably the same level of those players they signed, like Romero and van der Veen. He might disagree. He does disagree, though. He does disagree, so I'm curious where that is. Like a mid-table team. So, like, give me... So, like, a Tarkowski. Tarkowski wouldn't leave Everton. No, no, no. I'm on about like level. Of course it fucking was. Yeah. Here we go then. I'm on about... I'm not on about... If Spurs finish 17th with no European football and Everton are currently set 8th.
1:22:40Oh, this argument's so boring. And Premo chose to go to Man United when they finished 15th last season over all every team in the league. Yeah, he chose them over. That's such a silly argument, Theo. What about Murillo? But Everton... Forrest. Everton are all big Yeah, he's the type of player that would go to Spurs. What's Brentford got to do with it? Theo, Murillo, Murillo, went to Forest. Someone like Murillo, yeah. Here's a question. Not a while, Lewis. Would somebody like Malik Chau move to Spurs from Newcastle? I don't think so. Not so soon. Not if they've got no European football. If Newcastle do.
1:23:10They can have Schaar. So we're putting Romero and Van der Beelie. Calvin Bassey? Is he good enough? They've got to go better than that. I like Bassey, but they've got to aim higher. What I'm saying is, rather than a specific player, what's the level? So name me a player and that's the level. So like the Murillo level. Yeah, that's a great shot. Yeah, okay. But my point to you, Theo, I disagree to a point where it's like, I do think Tottenham, I don't, I think they should sign at St. But I don't, no, no, no. I'm saying, I, No, I'm just asking a question. Who do you think then? If you disagree. I don't know a specific player.
1:23:47I'm on about like a level of player. I think they could get like a chow level of player where it's like, it's not a, Liverpool, Man United, Chelsea, I'm looking at him. But my point to you was, that's always been their level spurs. And yes, naturally, they finished 17th two years running with no European football going into next season. The level will drop. Of course, but unfortunately, that's the way of the world, isn't it? Yeah, so I'm saying they won't be able to attract the level of player that maybe they want to. But no one's disagreed with that. I don't, I'm confused. I don't understand your point in the first place.
1:24:20It depends what player you're, I think they'll be able to attract the same level. I don't understand what you were even arguing then. Because you're saying Well they're not going to be able To attract one of the top players But they've never done that Out of any of these players Here So out of any of these players That they signed Which do you think They wouldn't be able to attract If they had to sign them today James Madison was a top player For Leicester City I think Madison And they got relegated Oh he's here like What the fuck are we doing I think Madison would still sign I think Madison would still sign To this current Tottenham Because I feel like He'd come in no And he's going to be That's what I mean I don't see any signers That they've made Who they wouldn't be able to make now Precisely You know what I mean Spurs have always done the same.
1:24:56They can't, unfortunately, track those top, top players. Like any of those. They've never been able to do that. The example that they were going after like the Richarlison's and stuff, like Chelsea didn't want Richarlison's. Look at all those players. Kudus. Yeah, it's just a good player. Javi Simmons is pretty European. Javi Simmons, no one else wanted him. Chelsea were rumoured, then ended up going for Wossi's face. I'd say Javi Simmons is the one out there who I don't think they'd be able to sign. So Theo, a question for you, and a question for everyone Mark Gay obviously went to Man City if Man City Liverpool on deadline day Norby's going in for him Gay Spurs go we want him Palace accept do you think he goes to Tottenham or waits to the end of the season wait there you go so he waits for a bigger move doesn't he even you look at Eze man he just fucking was going to go there and just said nah last minute well that's because Arsenal came in last minute but to be honest Tottenham are like a bridge hang on where's the argument going now I know it's quite interesting like not but you're saying Eze was arguably one of the better players in the league at the time and they did go after him they tried to get him yeah no but they did succeed it's like when Tottenham and Newcastle and the Aston Millers are all shopping in the same bracket of the players who were trying to make that jump he would have signed if Arsenal didn't last minute go hey come in hasn't Andrew already alluded to the fact that it's a systemic issue in the club a wage as well they want those players that's my point though even if they got Eze I wouldn't be going wow what a coup like that's a good yeah he's a good player that's a standard to me that is a standard Spurs signing a Kudus a Madison just like yeah good players what's their next step in their career sort of thing but it's not precisely like Van der Ven and Romero Spurs are seen as a stepping stone even though they're still one of the biggest so who should they sign at centre half a similar profile to Van der Ven and Romero when they sign them look at the top centre backs in like other leagues who aren't like wanted by the biggest teams I couldn't name them I don't know but like there are players out there who like he's chowking like a chow like an AC He wasn't their main player, but he had potential.
1:26:54Maybe go and get Alderete from Sunderland, Lacroix, a player like that. This systemic issue at Spurs, though, surely they should have the money that they can go out and try and target the players. They have the transfer money. Not with their wages. And it's also if they also get... That's a higher-up issue, then. And also if they get no European football next year, which is very likely now. The weird you'd have to pay even extra to convince them is crazy. We talked about this with the Man United thing as well. how they finished out of Europe and they hacked No, no, no As an example though Spurs this isn't going to be they're not going to get European football again which means it's not going to be a quick fix this is now an issue for Spurs for many more years to come They've got to be smart compared to Man United This is going to take a long time for Spurs to get back into the top six It's more like they just have to have smart recruitment the people pick it's not going to be as obvious as home runs as the top players you said the same about Man United and now you think they've finished top four but then again do you think Spurs' recruitment is good enough to be able to find I don't think so I don't think so I think they won there you go so you agree it's probably going to take a lot longer no no no because we said the same about Man United but unfortunately the food chain is the food chain and Spurs Spurs only need and I go out and sign in Brembo and Cunha yeah but for the last four years they've signed shit yeah you said I'm pretty sure you said last season you said it was going to take them years to get back into Europe.
1:28:19Yeah, it'll be like five years before they get back into top four. And now you're betting on them finishing top four? But they've also just signed, they signed Casemiro. Yeah, because they can do that. But that's what I'm saying, Spurs can't. So it's going to take them a lot longer than how Man United get back into it. Spurs can go after the likes of Man United argument to try and back your point. No, I'm saying that Spurs, for them, they are going to be in this shit for a lot longer than I think a Man United were in the shit for. I think it can turn very quickly. To get back to the top six or seven?
1:28:42Yeah. No, I don't think so. were in the shit for a long time like that's like fucking my opinion and he took them one window to really turn moving away from that are Spurs kind of briefly touching it earlier are Spurs still in the big six are they at risk of losing the big six no you don't think so so in this summer a young 23 year old sentiment fielder and it's Newcastle Villa Spurs all going for him same amount of money same amount of wage which one is he going who would you go to I feel like that's such a big it's down to the players isn't it what they want the big six and not be as attractive as a club outside the big six yeah like some people might want to live in london some people might want villas champions league some people might you know what i mean they are i feel like what i'll tell you is those three teams are all shopping in the same market yeah yeah going off history i don't think we're gonna land i'll tell you the team who won't be getting that player so is that more of a question is there is there Now a big five Is there a big eight No I'm just thinking No the big six Are so clear You should have got four But I think I think people do get like They get a bit like Hyperbolic And think oh my god I know it seems terrible And bad That they're there All it takes is one window For Spurs And they'll be straight back In that top six The same way at the minute We're at Brentford Brentford are fucking Yeah So And Spurs Most people I think would agree When they're all in form Spurs have got a way better team Than Brentford So as long as they get the right manager appointment, have a decent window, they'll be straight back in challenging.
1:30:15And again, people coming back from injuries as well. That's the biggest thing. It's not that hard. But it is all hypothetical though because we all thought Thomas Frank was a great managerial appointment. I didn't. There is an element. Look, they get Kudus back, Madison. They'll be fine. Those will be new signings in itself. In their good bin. On paper, it sounds easy. Football's crazy. No, it's definitely not easy. But I do think Man United have shown this year how quickly it can turn. They haven't even been great for a lot of the season. What, they're fourth? They also have Brenna Fernandes.
1:30:45Do you know what fuck's about Man United? They have a talisman who can carry the club and they are just Man United and even when they're shit, they still attract these bigger names who can help them get out of their shit like Acuna and Mbwemo. Whereas I don't think Spurs can. Well, Spurs were in for Mbwemo, weren't they? And look where it went. So were Arsenal, so were those. But when he went there and had the United locker in for him, probably. You are. I think so. He'd have probably gone there Yeah, but the United were in for him. So he didn't go there? Who? In Buemo. Yeah, he didn't even entertain anywhere.
1:31:14He's only one of them. Yeah, but the argument that you were making last year is it's going to take a while for Manchester United. I thought it would. Because of the situation that they're in, but big clubs attract big players. No, but also, we wouldn't be having this argument about Man United unless Amerind got fired. Why not? Because do you think there would be a turnaround like there were now? do you know what I mean yeah they'd still be shirming off when he got sacked they were still doing alright that's an example of different managers they were still in the European places they were down at like 7th but even performances wise performances since the second has been a major improvement that's what I'm talking about do you know Man United are the only I know the point you're trying to make but because Spurs are such a big club and it only takes one good manager it's a big club and then there's a Man United yeah but you even those discussions last season you couldn't see the fact that because they were Man United they would just turn it around you were like it's going to take four or five years for them to do this it could have done but it still might but for Spurs to get back in line looking at these results instantly off the back of the Carrick appointment who's to say it's going to continue going forward next season will they continue with Michael Carrick in charge who knows but it's not about next season if they finish in the top four this season they're back they're back in the Champions League but if they didn't replace Amherst do you think they would have got Champions League I just think when you said about Tarkovsky if Spurs win for Tarkovsky he's gone I don't know for years.
1:32:33In what world? Does Everton have a chance of getting Europe this season? It's just because it's a different level of club and it's a different stature. If Everton get Europe... They're not going to get Europe. Why not? Because they're not that good. They are in eighth currently. I know. But this is February. I'm saying if they get Europe... Okay, so what you've just said, just to play the other side of the coin, what you've just said, that would imply it's actually not too difficult for Spurs to get back into those positions if we're discussing Everton getting Europe. Yeah. Do you see what I mean?
1:33:05But is that not a bit disrespectful to Everton? No. But this is how much they're underperforming. Everton at the minute, a lot of their fans want Moyes out. But with the Spurs getting back into Europe thing, well, they could have, they finished, if they finished back-to-back seven teams, that's a systemic issue that needs a lot of change over a number of years. You said the same about Man United. Yeah. It has taken a lot of years to get back. It's one and a half. Do you know what I mean? What are you saying? No. I'm saying, I don't actually, I'm losing I'm losing I'm losing I'm losing I'm saying it's easy for Man United to get back to where they were because of the stature of the club Man United whereas I think Spurs you didn't say that in the summer and that's why you also predicted Spurs to finish above them this season that's the whole point we're saying and you actually predicted United bottom half when we did our top five yeah and I think up until the Amarin appointment it was looking pretty fucking favourable no it wasn't we all did for them to get back in the top we all thought that we all thought that I'm just saying it's not anyone who's able to admit it.
1:34:03We all thought the track of what you... Let's get back to their tier list then. So we're going to... We're going to finish the tier list. We're going to sell Romero because they want to leave and they need... That's my opinion. You don't want to be the club. Fuck off, man. All right, let's go around. Romero, Tom. Sell. Sell. I mean, you keep him. You said that without moving your lips. Yeah, I know. Yeah, it's just speaking for me. Keep Romero. Luke. Sell. Theo. They should keep him But they're going to sell him So Yeah unless there's You are such a politician That's what I mean If there's an urgency To sell him We know that he's going Keep the player Out of the two Sell Romero He's fucking shit That's not true But keep Van Der Ven I sell as well Because he wants to go Keep him as well Why would you want to keep A player Who doesn't want to be there When you can get such Big money Instead of I know that's I know that's potentially Going to happen But in the situation they're in, you'd think that keeping those players is more important for them to get themselves out of the situation.
1:35:03You can't replace him. We can not replace him. So what are we doing? Let's come to a democratic agreement. Sal. If I'm in charge of Spurs, I'm keeping Vandermeer. This is what I mean. This is exactly the point I'm making. What happened to these systemic challenges then where they've got players who don't want to be there? Yeah, he's going to be just unhappy. Are you going to make it even worse? He's fucking the best player. Yeah, he's going to be fucking miserable though. Is he that miserable? Couldn't they just give him that contract? He's going to go on strike. Oh, yeah. With no Europe. Finishing 17th.
1:35:32If Real Madrid and Liverpool are in for him. He's going to leave. He's going to leave. He's going to leave. But if I'm in charge of the club, I'll do everything I possibly can to keep him. What if he starts going on? That's my argument. I don't think he's that... I think Van der Ben's a good player. I think he's the best player. Yeah, but that's not saying much. What if he tells you, Theo Gaffer, I'm going to go on strike if you don't sell me? I'll say you do that mate you won't fucking play ever again for this football club and we'll keep you forever oh that's really good management well done yeah right now sell fuck him fuck him off fuck him all is that the goalie yeah Sel he's shit do you remember when he played that game or was it City in the cup or something aw he's the American yeah he's American he's terrible nah he's shit right we'll just get rid of everybody Kinski 22 years old yeah he's cheating but make him first choice fucking sell the car he's shit he's been alright lately he does no accountability no accountability I'm not really right he has howlers and blames everyone else it's fucking you you're shit why don't you do your job who was it against who was in the corner booted it straight it was Fulham wasn't it gave it straight to Harry Wilson you're shit yeah think you bet all this and that oh yeah I'd keep but it's up to you fuck him yeah like what are we doing getting rid of everything just sell them all let's go back So what are we doing for Kyle?
1:36:56He's made a few mistakes recently Sell him, he's not good enough Sell him, man Keep He's not good enough Sign Rufus Do you know what? He's actually there, Levo Keep him Do you think they'd be able to attract Rufus from Sunderland? Yeah No, no Are you asking me or him? What do you reckon? Yeah, because there's every chance Sunderland could go down next season What? Like next season So What are you basing that on? Just like they're a team that's just been promoted There's a chance the Spurs could go down this season. Yeah, that's so true. You said they will, by the way. Yeah, I know. All of these players are in the championship next year.
1:37:29And you want to keep them all on fucking 100 grand a week. Well, go sell them all then. We can't afford the wages. That's what I'm saying. They can't afford them anyway. That's what I'm saying. You've really confused me today with a lot of what you've said, I must admit. I actually lost track of which side you were on it every point. It was gone back. I'm just trying to be open to discussion and have a nice conversation. No, I know, but then you just... I think you've argued with yourself. I just don't know what your actual opinion is anymore. So what we're seeing is Spurs, one, two transfer windows away from fixing everything?
1:38:02No. I think one, no. It's selling it. I agree with you. That suggests that they don't follow it. I'm confused what I was agreeing with. I don't think they'll be able to fix it, no. One good window, good manager appointment, they'll be back in the top six next time. You see hypotheticals. Mate, if they get half of their injury list back, that's already like twice the time. What you said there, on paper it sounds easy. What these are saying is correct. I just don't think their recruitment's good enough and I don't think they'll do it. If I look at their past signings, I don't have enough confidence in their recruitment.
1:38:31I think that's a fair shout, but I think the league is really not that difficult for them to get back into the top six. That's why I don't want to sit on the fence. For them to go from 17th to 6th or 7th isn't crazy of a jump, which is exactly... That's the argument we gave last season as well. Admittedly, they didn't do it. They didn't do it. That's my point. With a better manager. There you go. Yeah, but it is easy to do that, though. Wait, go do it then. They haven't done it this season. For their club. For their club. If it's that easy to do, like you said, why haven't they done it? We did it with the night.
1:38:59There you go. So it's not easy to do. That's what I'm saying. I'm saying it's not easy to do. Yeah, because all the teams injured, they've had a shit manager all season. We're saying if they can get injuries back and sort the gaffer out without even signing it, they'll be back in the... By the way, you sat there and said the exact same thing when we said it about Manchester United and they've gone and done it. They've proved the theory is correct. Okay, so there's no point of these discussions ever because we're just going, well, they haven't done it, well, they haven't done it, so we'll wait till the...
1:39:30Man United are a case study of it going perfectly in what we said. To be fair, though, Man United had a... They can also afford bigger wages. I would say Man United had a far more obvious fix. Yeah, but they're going for the top four. Spurs are going for eighth to sixth. No, wait, but Man United had a more clear, obvious fix to their system. Spurs is a lot more like theirs was simply this system doesn't work everyone knows what you should play they played it they started winning Man United is not a fair case study because their fix is more obvious than the fix for Tottenham Tottenham is a more complicated fix Man United don't go into a different echelon of teams in the Premier League than Spurs are Spurs have just got to beat the teams like Bournemouth, Everton everyone on the street knew what Man United had to do everyone on the street knew what Man United had to do I'm not saying Spurs are going to jump to fourth I'm saying Spurs are going to compete for 8th, 6th, 7th, etc.
1:40:20in that region of the league. It's a very different part of the Premier League. First it was 6th, 7th. All I'm saying this is what I'm saying this is the end of the hour all I'm saying is Man United were a bigger attraction as a club they can afford more wages than Manchester United and there was a huge gaping obvious answer of how you could improve this club whereas Tottenham Hotspur What was that? Because you didn't mention that last year when you said they were going to finish bottom off this year. Because Amarim was in charge, mate. And then we watched the rest of the season play out and then we could see that.
1:40:51Rockliffe said he's not leaving for three years, in fairness. Football's very adaptive. Adaptive. Very quickly to finish it off before we get back into that. Northern and Derby on Sunday. 4-0 Arsenal. One by one predictions. Where's it at? Spurs. 2-1 Spurs. They're worse at home. Not anymore. When I was saying this, you were like, no. What do you mean not anymore? What do you mean not anymore? They've got a new manager, mate. Oh. 4-0 Arsenal. Lewis, grow up. You don't believe that. Well, it was close enough last time, wasn't it? It's not going to be 4-0. I'm going to say... 5-0. Well, the thing is, if Arsenal play like they did against Wigan, they could be in for a good shout.
1:41:31And Spurs are on Wigan's level, so... Or burn. Yo-yo. 1-0 Spurs. Yo-yo. What? Derby. I said it from the start. They have Derby's new manager bounce. And also, like, Arsenal are feeling City's breath on their eyes. I open the prediction show. I load up the scoreline for Sunday. That's not me doing the prediction. Who is it a bigger game for? Who is it a bigger game for? Arsenal. Arsenal is. Yeah. I think Spurs have a lot of riding on it. Is this the biggest one that we've had in quite a while? It's by far bigger for Arsenal because if Man City go and beat Newcastle, they're only one point behind Arsenal.
1:42:06Talk about this and if Spurs lose and West Ham win, they're fucking right in the relegation. They're down anyway. Spurs aren't expected to win that game. Relegation is bigger for Arsenal. it doesn't matter relegation is worse than not winning the league correct yeah but they're not expected to win that game that's irrelevant they're in a situation now Arsenal shouldn't be dropping points with the situation you're right relegation is way bigger than not winning the league however if Arsenal lose that game compared to if Spurs lose that game they'll be way more absolutely for Arsenal because you're expected to win no no no I completely agree I think you completely agree when we looked through their fixtures we didn't foresee them taking that does not take away from it being a huge game it's not a big game for them though having a new manager having a new manager the fans pass the on board they're not saying it's not a big game for Spurs we're just the question was who's it bigger for and you'd have to argue Arsenal because losing losing this game is more catastrophic for Arsenal in the sense of what people will say and what I'd counter that with is and I thought it would be only one point and what I'd counter that with whereas Spurs are still like What, three, four, clear?
1:43:13We'll be back to four when we beat Wolves. What I'd count that with is Tottenham, if they win this game with a new manager, the fans may be back on side. It can be a huge boost to them just getting away from the relegation. Yeah, that's a bigger result. It doesn't make it a bigger game, though. But the fact of who's the favourite to win the game is irrelevant to who is it bigger to for the individual. If Tottenham win this game here, it's by far... It's spearhead their season. It gets the fans back on board. Everything. It's a huge opportunity. It's actually a huge opportunity for them to pull up an upset.
1:43:42The result of the win is not the same as saying it's a bigger game. Spurs are expected to lose. Exactly. So that doesn't take away from the win. Right, okay, no, but this is the thing. Say we're the last game of the season, I'm three points. No, we're not. No, but it doesn't matter who you're playing. It can still be a big game. They're in the situation they're in, so it's still a huge game for them. So you pick up points against the Derby. Yeah, but it's not as big as Arsenal's situation, who are getting hunted by Man City. We're talking about right now, Arsenal saying, oh, Arsenal are bottling, it's going to be bottling.
1:44:08I think the threat of relegation is worse than the threat of bottling. Yeah, but this doesn't change whether they get relegated or not. He is right. Definitely. Second is a trophy. Tom, if they lose the game, they're still like four points cleared. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, you've already won. The Spurs aren't in the relegation zone right now. Let's forget. Yeah, but they're in threat of it. They lose this and West Ham win. They're fucked. They're getting the fixtures. It ramps up more pressure. Every single game they're coming up to now. It's a massive game for both. Thanks for tuning in.
