In short

Premier League hot takes and match reactions, mainly Newcastle’s struggles (and whether Eddie Howe should be criticised), Arsenal’s title “bottle” talk, Sunderland’s form, Man City vs Liverpool, plus debates on Liverpool’s inconsistency, Man United’s entertainment value, and relegation candidates (Wolves, Burnley, Leeds, Fulham).

Guests (hosts)

Reev, Thea Baker, Tom Garratt. They discuss as fans of multiple clubs (notably Newcastle, Arsenal, Sunderland, Liverpool, Man United, Wolves, Everton, West Ham, Chelsea, Villa, Forest, Leeds/Burnley).

Key claims

  • Newcastle are tactically stuck vs low blocks; midfield lacks creativity; club hierarchy/CEO instability since “Manda Stavli” departure is harming recruitment and structure.
  • Arsenal won’t “bottle” yet; Sunderland’s draw is credit to Sunderland, not Arsenal collapse; Arsenal’s title is effectively decided early but tough fixtures (Spurs, Bayern) could test them later.
  • Man City are comfortable; Liverpool are poor and benefit from/lose to refereeing decisions; Doku’s role is highlighted.
  • Liverpool’s output is inconsistent; Man United are entertaining but leak chances.
  • Wolves are in trouble but Rob Edwards could improve them; Leeds/Burnley look most at risk.

Notable examples

  • Newcastle-Brentford: ugly game; Tonali/Bruno errors; Joelinton and Dan Byrne decisions criticised; Newcastle home/away form contrast.
  • Arsenal vs Sunderland: Sunderland “Sonnen” scores twice; Arsenal second half improves; Trashod/baller goal mentioned.
  • Man City vs Liverpool: Doku standout; Haaland 14 PL goals in 11 games; penalty/goal-dispute discussed.
  • Wolves: Gusto first goal; “hate watching” and poor ball retention cited.

0:00Theo:Welcome to a new episode of Pitchside with me, Reev, Thea Baker and Tom Garratt.

0:05Lewis Bowden:If you haven't already hit follow, why not tap that button right now for new episodes every week?

0:13Theo:And if you want more Pitchside, catch us on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram where you can find us by typing in Pitchside. Let's get into it.

0:21Reev:Welcome back to Pitchside where, unfortunately, for Lewis Bowden...

0:27Lewis Bowden:Down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down

0:31Reev:Down, down, down, down, down Down with the Wigan You're going down with the Wigan Yeah, we're getting relegated It's alright though

0:40Lewis Bowden:He's trying to He thinks he's pretty good It's cute Let him have it bro Let's start there Look, we might let you be a guest one week I actually don't want to I don't want to be on that show But tell you why I don't want to be on that show Yeah, he doesn't want to be on that show

0:56Reev:I could never follow the Admiral and the Mexican. Admiral. No, he's trying to get your fake-licking ass now.

1:02Lewis Bowden:No, he's trying to get the car. Fuck off.

1:04Reev:Are you still known as the Mexican or not? Whoa. What the fuck, man? What the fuck is going on? You can't see that.

1:10Lewis Bowden:You're really digging a hole here. You're begging it.

1:12Reev:Someone say you're begging it. Either way, guys, if you're an Everton fan and you're rattled by Everton's latest TikTok.

1:18Lewis Bowden:I don't think people watching this who Everton fans are rattled by it. They found it quite amusing. It's like 50-year-old men who've got divorce and ate their lives. who think, our club shouldn't be posting this. Just cheer them. God forbid a club has banter. It's the same people who are angry that angry Jinji is going on, I'm a celebrity. He's not a celebrity. Well, he is though, isn't he? He literally is one of the most famous people in the country. We have our nipples out. Surely that's a celebrity. I mean, I feel like... We're at AdLimbing. I just feel like we had our nipples out. It's clearly not serious.

1:43Lewis Bowden:Do you know one thing? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I mean? How can you get angry at a video where two lads got nipples out? Good point to me. I don't know why I'm so red on it.

1:54Lewis Bowden:I really haven't. Tom, that's like towards the end of the episode that there's been a lot of... You were a bird at one point. Yeah, it's true. Like, there's a lot of screens. No, we actually weren't. You were a bit more red on that screen. Yeah, the screen doesn't... Oh, maybe it's the... You look really pale. It's the colour of you. You're like orange here. Are you sure you're not on the bed? No. I've only been on the bed once. And anyway. Yeah. Do you think you might go down? Yeah.

2:18Reev:The thing is, Lou, is you keep telling us how good Eddie Howe is as a manager, but I'm not being funny, yeah? my auntie could have told you I feel like my auntie you could have I don't even have an auntie in hindsight oh my god everyone knew you could have taken Dan Byrne off yeah he made a mistake but I can understand his logic in that Brentford are very dangerous from throw-ins and we already lost Joel Linton Dan Byrne was one of our few remaining tall players it is like they do kind of have guaranteed goals from throw-ins, but I do disagree with the decision, but I feel like there's a lot we can criticise Newcastle, but we shouldn't go down the route of, oh, Eddie, oh shit, because it's just like, well.

3:01No, we have to do that. Well, you can do it, but it's not really a conversation to be hard there. the game kicked off

3:04Theo:yesterday on stream? You said you think he should walk because he doesn't deserve the kind of shit players. Yeah, he actually said Eddie has to walk. Yeah, he should walk. He's too good for us. He's already turned on his own manager. No, again, you're not listening with your ears again.

3:14Reev:Why are you so angry and rattled for me? How are you getting rattled in this episode? We're the ones getting relegated. Can I just say something to you? Both your centre-halves got an assist. That's kind of impressive. I knew this was going to happen by the way because he got mobbed so hard last week. He's going to try so hard with his Chow arguing. Bottman's assist was pretty good. Chow's assist is generational. That's a through ball, mate. He cut the defence open. Again, if we break it down it was Bottman's fault that goal. Yeah, it wasn't a good performance

3:39Lewis Bowden:was it, mate? So, yeah. Another Volta Marder stinker as well. He can't get involved in his way again if you're struggling. Well, to be fair, mate, I don't know if any of you've seen it, but like genuinely, it was the most ugly, horrendous game of football I've ever seen. The ball was fucking in the air the entirety of the first half. It was getting smacked off people's faces. It was embarrassing. I saw Brentford try and make it, didn't I? We were equally as bad with that. We've got Tonali and Bruno who should be better on the ball in those sorts of scenarios. Tonali was fine, but Bruno was a bit scrappy.

4:06His lost ball actually led to one of their goals. He's been constantly scrappy a little bit in the final third and giving away the ball and letting them just counter.

4:13Reev:we discussed this sorry we discussed this on the show about your home and away form it is mental when you actually look at it on paper every time you're at home it's green and every time you're away it's red I've got a theory though go on then what's your theory what is the situation going on right so you know like how I think Josh Murphy's playing instead of Jacob Murphy I feel like there's most the only possible he's got a good

4:33Theo:goal against West Ham the only possible theory is only possible theory is that they all have twins there's a third twin no every single player has a twin there's literally no other way because there's two different fucking teams showing up

4:47Lewis Bowden:that also doesn't that wouldn't work with Murphy because the other twin does actually play for a team no because then Murphy the real Murphy will go there so why do Portsmouth lose every week? oh there's a third twin that's right that's what I'm saying so you're saying there's a triplet in that sense there might be a triplet yeah this is the shittiest track

5:03Theo:also are you struggling to come to terms with the fact you might be relegated no I've been to terms of it

5:13Reev:bottom three, mate. I was thinking about

5:15Theo:the whole doppelganger theory is a bit crazy, to be fair. 95 % of my time supporting Newcastle, even more, if anything, has been pure shit, like performances like that. And it's weird how quickly I've got used to that 5 % of being good because this feels really... Sounds like a humbling. You don't realise how shit it used to be until you're back being shit. It's very early in the season, though. I mean, you haven't even been... It's very early in the season. Eddie Howe turns it around. Like, look, it's really... It's bad. even when you've been winning at home though

5:44Lewis Bowden:you haven't been great you weren't good against Fulham I don't get it though

5:47Reev:they've got the best centre mid and the best centre back in the league but that's what I don't get like we were great against Spurs like we were really good against Spurs and it's Spurs anyone can do that to Spurs that's true and we do it to them every season even Chelsea looked fucking good against Spurs but no look it's shit but ultimately we're six points off fifth admittedly two points off relegation but it is still early I do believe we'll kick on I think we'll spend money in January

6:10Theo:as bad as you were credit to Brentford as well Brentford are good they turn their season around one of the finest scoring goal scorers in the league at the moment only behind Merling Haaland I do think what we're seeing though is I feel like see we've actually been such a fucking mess of a club like behind the scenes ever since the Manda Stavli left like we've just had another fucking chief executive leave it's been constant rotations and the signings I think we can agree haven't been what we needed like Alanga's not performing at the level he needs he's been really bad like and then putting ourselves in a bit of a hole losing Minter and like that's fine fair play but it's like we're clearly missing like a 10 who's creative and can beat a low block because now now when a team's defensive against us which is now happening like we have zero ideas

6:53Reev:you never really played with a 10 though no but before before there was no low block like before you need to change it up a little bit well I think we need to return to just being little shithouses because like we're not good enough to do this like what we're trying to do it's hard to

7:07Lewis Bowden:it's hard to apply that way though when you are you're going into games favourites and having to dominate the ball though this is the whole this is the whole issue teams get when they become the hunters do you know what I mean you don't have to go and dominate games and it's you can't just beat teams on the break or get wide and get in behind because teams just sit back what Carriger was saying as well he was like he was essentially saying that Newcastle have let down Howan away and I think they have like in how shit it's been with the turnaround like staff like the running of a club has been a mess behind the scenes and it's like it's sort of like what is he supposed to do more than this?

7:41And he was saying, he doesn't see, Newcastle winning the league is the next step. But at the moment, it's like, how the fuck are we going to do that? We haven't even got any fucking backroom staff in order. What just happened to the last time?

7:50Reev:Sorry. That was like the most, like what the hell have I just listened to? We've just had turnaround of CEOs. That was down to illness. It's the same words. There's no fucking hierarchy at all.

8:04Lewis Bowden:I also don't think the next step at the minute is winning the league. I think that's a bit, let's relax. I'm not saying that's next step. in terms of what Hal's achieved the next step is being cemented as a top four club and then it's challenging I think you've missed a few steps there the next step isn't winning the Premier League you're about 8th in that line at the minute I find it's hard to see us climb on that if we don't fucking sort out the actual hierarchy at the club first can you spend in January? can you? no yeah we can but it's like there's no fucking like how ran the whole transfer window on this previous one which it just isn't his job like it isn't his job there's no we haven't had a long term sport directly we've just had another one fucking leaving a new one in it's just like so I don't know what we're going to do in January you need better performances on the pitch I reckon we need good signings but the reason we're having bad performances because we we're so poor in that midfield area we haven't got someone who's creative who can actually create something in that central area like Joe Linton shouldn't be starting instead of I think Ramsey should be starting to unlock it and nobody's playing more deep isn't he I think we start Ramsey not no you don't even give him the chance to beat no he did he did play further up the pitch and Bruno sat but that didn't work we rotate them around but like we have to play Joel Linton because we need the physicality against Brentford but then we don't play Ramsey and even when Ramsey came on didn't do anything really that's what I mean and we spent like 50 million on Alanga 40 million on Ramsey and it's like fucking hell not seeing much returns from this at the moment And now Pope's injured.

9:37Well, yeah, but I like having Ramsteen on goal. I want Ramsteen on goal. Fucking useless, he is.

9:43Reev:Moving on to Villa.

9:45Theo:No. No, we can go to the other half of the North East.

9:48Lewis Bowden:The actual pride of the North East. The real pride of the North East. Four thousand, man.

9:53Reev:Seven points ahead of Newcastle.

Read the full transcript

9:56Lewis Bowden:They're in the top four. Fourth in the league. Fourth in the league. Unbeaten at home. They look so solid, don't they? they're quite the way you need to play as a promoted team I agree you've got to make things nasty

10:08Reev:and I think there's so much credit to Sunderland from the reaction of Arsenal drawing there it's actually it's not like Arsenal bottle or whatever Sunderland like deserve that's a credit to them as a club they're actually a really good team I think people are forced too much trying to they're trying to jump the gun on the Arsenal bottle trust me lads it'll come but not yet I'm just talking about

10:29Theo:conversely Sunderland we all know no team

10:31Reev:is going to go on for the rest of the season not dropping points. That's impossible, right? But, Sonnen's scored two goals against the best defence in the fucking league almost the world. That is so impressive. That is. It's genuinely so impressive. And they've got one of the best sentiments in the league.

10:47Lewis Bowden:Mate, they're good, man. I love watching them. I fucking think they're so entertaining. Arsenal actually were bearable to watch as well. Second half were very good as well. Yeah, I thought you played really well second half. They just frustrated your first half, didn't they? Yeah, again, it just... It's there. You're forcing it. You're forcing it. It's still there, though. It is still there. So honestly, everyone, just calm down. It's going to come. Because they'll keep getting bigger and better. It's not forcing it. And they will end up... Their arse is all flat. And with Man City, keep winning every week.

11:18Lewis Bowden:That's the big worry, isn't it? Just do like that. It's going to be delicious. Don't worry. They've got Spurs next. So everyone, just calm down. How did that really happen? They'll beat Spurs comfortably at home. And then we'll beat Chelsea away. Then they go to Stamford Bridge. Well, it's in the slow cooker. That's when they go to Stamford Bridge and that's when their arses fall out of their bottoms. That's the prediction.

11:38Reev:Who beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge? Sunderland. Arsenal drew to Sunderland at Stadium Light. Therefore, when Arsenal go to Stamford Bridge, Arsenal win. Good point. That was class though. It is pretty crazy how like two, three

11:52Theo:weeks ago we were saying, I just don't see who catches them. And now it's like, alright. No, no, no. I am joking.

11:58Lewis Bowden:You've already won the league. There's no way you cannot We're four points clear in November.

12:01Theo:No, no, but there was no outright. Yeah, but no one can score against you. We're four points clear. We've won the league. You do have the best defence in the world. We're four points clear in November. Don't worry.

12:09Lewis Bowden:You are going to beat Chelsea's record of 15 goals. Yeah, no, obviously. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

12:12Reev:Obviously. Do you know what? You've got the best depth. You've got the best everything. Did you know this? Rory told me this today. You know the year United won the treble? It was 98? 99? 99. 99. Do you know how many goals Arsenal conceded that year in the league? 17. It was the record before Chelsea did it. but because Arsenal didn't win the title no one remembers it

12:30Theo:yeah well also then they got beaten

12:32Reev:I know but yeah also it's not the record yeah but it was it was the record alright you just ignore my point no but no the reason it's not remembered is because it's no longer the record it got broke five years later it got broke so like why would we talk about that now you're not going to be bringing up second place are you no you're not oh no

12:46Lewis Bowden:you're not it's just second yeah oh yeah oh yeah oh second again second again oh oh I trust Arsenal to cheer me up good goal from Trashod though he's been playing well sensational yeah absolutely

13:02Reev:he's just good isn't he he's maybe he's been really good he's just coming back left that side he's just good player very good better from Saka as well

13:09Lewis Bowden:coming back to his old self

13:10Reev:good finish as well

13:11Lewis Bowden:I thought I don't think there's much to Arsenal not panic there's not much to criticise that performance he was a great goal from Ballard yeah it's a mix up in it the second that can happen you're going to get individual errors like that where I don't even know whose fault you'd say. It's probably Royer's, isn't it? I don't know why he needed to. Well taken goal as well.

13:31Reev:Just bicycle kicked it over the red head. It's quite good. He didn't bicycle kick it. Sort of. He just fucking puts his foot on it. Sort of. Give him credit, man. Give Blobby a credit. Blobby? It's crazy.

13:43Lewis Bowden:No, I think you'll be fine. Look, you've already won the league, so it doesn't really matter.

13:47Reev:But what I will say is you talk about, you know, Spurs-Chelsea, in the middle of that is Bayern Munich. So there's a hard run of fixtures coming up for Arsenal and it's going to be interesting to see how we cope with those fixtures and will we come out on top? I think yes. Yeah, you will for now but it's just marinating it's in the slow cooker. Yeah, March, April will see. I'm coming back for the pulled pork later on. Yeah, it always is though but it's always tastier the better you do earlier on. It's always more delicious when you eventually fall apart. In November, it's won the league. It's like, do you know those Texas barbecue videos where they pull the brisket apart and it's juicy as fuck?

14:22Yeah. That's what we're doing but we can't bring the brisket oh yeah it's not time yet guys

14:25Lewis Bowden:so what are we on at the moment the internal temperature hasn't got there we need to let it it's really

14:30Reev:come fall apart oh come fall apart come fall apart speaking of Man City though Liverpool were pretty poor weren't they Man City were class yeah Liverpool were bad that was that was Doc's best performance in the City shirt yeah

14:43Theo:Game State obviously quite important though because nah fuck that man

14:47Reev:their goal should I personally it would have been 1-1 it should have counted yeah but they were still going to lose the game I think everyone saw they were poor you don't know that

14:56Lewis Bowden:I think that you would have you don't know because they only then come at City second half didn't they Harlem missed the penalty

15:02Reev:as well though do you know what I mean there's like yeah but that was no-nil then scored the Van Dijk was an equaliser I like to think that this Man City team are going to get the result either way you saw the way it's a completely

15:14Theo:different game but also Bradley on strings mate and also can we just say Liverpool cannot complain use benefit more than any other team from far decisions. So it's like, it ultimately is going to come back around and hurt you sometimes.

15:25Reev:Did you see Slott comparing it to, I think, was it Wolves? The goal against Wolves? I don't know how they dare. I don't know how they dare. And it was counted. But he showed that one and the player was actually backing into the keeper. So actually the one he was moaning about should have been chalked off. Yeah, yeah. It should have been reversed.

15:40Lewis Bowden:Slott did say though, that he didn't change the result.

15:43Reev:No, it didn't.

15:44Lewis Bowden:I don't think it did. That's fair.

15:45Reev:But I can see why you'd be aggrieved. But I don't think...

15:47Lewis Bowden:I mean, it definitely shouldn't have been ruled out. it's a perfectly good goal but City just dominated them and Doc is best performance

15:55Theo:in the City show that's the left winger in the world I heard did he? yeah well after seeing that that was just fucking filthy when he flipped black through two of them it's like they were trying to double up on them and he just made them look he's too sharp

16:08Lewis Bowden:when he's on it mate he's unplayable because he's too sharp this season he's finally

16:13Reev:being consistent with his performances more consistent yeah that was his issue he's being allowed

16:19Theo:to come inside more which is very different like when previous say that again he's saying backside sorry I think you need to go chill out in the corner there buddy yeah usually his heat maps are so close to the touchline whereas now he's in more central areas where he actually causes a lot of damage and then if he does go wide he still beats you anyway and then pulls it back you saw didn't you Harland's got smashed it in the neck

16:44Reev:Harland's got 14 Premier League goals already this season 11 games is he going to beat his day 6

16:48Lewis Bowden:I don't think he will

16:49Reev:I actually Do you think he might? I think he will actually.

16:51Theo:I'm not even joking. I think 40 is what he'll get. 40 goals? Yeah. Oh my God. That's just so bad. That's 26 in 27 remaining.

17:03Lewis Bowden:That's what? Doesn't even have to get one again. That's a goal in a game. I know, but Haaland does go through droughts. He does. He does, but...

17:09Reev:There will be a period. His drought's like three games and he's come back and scored like five hat-tricks.

17:15Theo:Yeah.

17:16Reev:Okay. He's a robot.

17:18Lewis Bowden:I think it'll be close. Yeah. I think he'll be close but well if we all said he wouldn't it depends if they start spreading like it depends how much they rely on him because like Doku he's stepping up now I think City are starting to more of them are stepping up slightly whereas the first the first like 67 games if he didn't score they were they will be working on that for that reason of course they can't just keep relying on him they are playing way more direct

17:40Reev:and they got Donnarumma now as well so he's like he's a joke isn't he he's class mode what happened to Trafford man I just feel sorry for City because like they can't win the league well it's because Arsenal is so clear. They're four points clear in November. I don't know why you keep saying that. It's impossible to catch.

17:54Lewis Bowden:No, you literally have won the league. You do know that. I know.

17:56Reev:I'm agreeing with you, mate. I'm saying it's impossible to catch.

17:58Lewis Bowden:It's not because of how far you're ahead. It's just your depth. No one can score against you.

18:02Reev:I know. It's four points clear, mate. It's impossible. There's always that one thing. It's mathematically impossible. There's always the factor. It's mathematically impossible. Begging it. Is it a bit of panic stations for slot? 100%. No, you're sucking.

18:15Theo:Now. There is pressure. I mean, I heard. There's a lot of money. and the fucking shit. They've got a slot now, but Eddie Howe, you think... Slightly different expectations. And he splunged, he splunged what, like fucking five world record fees in one month. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I feel like he should be

18:30Reev:doing a little bit there. Here's a question. Is Slott being let down by his players or is he the one that is causing the issue?

18:36Lewis Bowden:The role shit. I think it's a bit of both. Yeah, combination. I did Salas down that pitch yesterday, let's be honest. Yeah. Well, even Vert. Vert was shocking.

18:45Theo:And obviously the record transfer fee just stuck to the bench.

18:48Lewis Bowden:Even Bradley. Who's that again?

18:50Theo:Your mate.

18:51Lewis Bowden:I'd have took... I mean, I felt sorry for Bradley. I'd have took him off. He's just getting... He should have been sent off as well.

18:58Theo:Yeah, in the same sequence.

19:00Lewis Bowden:Who'd you put on instead to deal with... Gomez was on the bench. Is anyone going to be able to hold off to him? He's their only good player. You don't know that, but at the time, Bradley was getting fucking ruined and it looked like he was going to get himself sent off. I feel like and Salah's just they need to drop Salah maybe that'll give Salah a kick up the arse yeah because he's clearly not himself or he's clearly not he's either dropped a level or he's out of form or he's carrying a knock you don't know but

19:30Reev:Liverpool got a real issue you know they've dropped to 8th 18 points they are so close to being in the bottom half of the table yeah their output machines aren't really output they did just beat Real Madrid though no I know but is that not just

19:43Lewis Bowden:you know your boys who you think are like amazing Galacticos who can't leave Sonny Lombe. And they battered it. They don't know,

19:48Theo:to be fair.

19:50Reev:Is that not just like a plaster result? What, Real Madrid? No, but as in like, they can show they can do it, but why aren't they doing it consistently? Do you know what I mean? It's Champions League, it's Anfield. I came to the decision that these teams are actually shit abroad. Liverpool. I feel like the, no, no. What, you think Real Madrid are shit? You've seen how shit we, and not shit, but like in terms of how they play, like the physicality of the Premier League and the pace of the Premier League, it's like, Styles make fights similar. Is that why they've won the most European trophies ever?

20:18Well, we've done brilliant in this year's Champions League, but we can't beat a Brentford because... Three games. Well, that's the reference point I have to go off. But we haven't conceded against any of them. English teams are doing very well. Except for Barca.

20:28Lewis Bowden:But he says Real Madrid are shit. He didn't say that. No, he's just implying

20:32Reev:stylistic matchups. Why don't you? Why can't you just look up? You said these European teams are shit. Why are you so eager to get at me rather than just sitting the point? No, you said these European teams are shit, and you were talking about Real Madrid as well. Why do you have to take a tour literally? You don't think Madrid are shit. It's like when I say Salah's shit,

20:47Lewis Bowden:he's obviously not shit, is he? What I'm saying is the style of the Premier League works very well against these teams. I think that's a fair comment to say, yeah. Yeah, it's the reason we've seen Verde and Volta come over and on about the cramp. Look what we did to have next game Madrid. Mate, we'd just beat Bilbao 2-0. We'd beat Benfica 3-0. Then we'd lose to everyone else in the Premier League. City, Dortmund, battered them. Yeah. I think you're right. I think it's a very fair... We did a better performance against Barcelona than we did against Brentford. That is the state of football. Against West Ham, even.

21:18Lewis Bowden:I do think yesterday was a weird game as well. Obviously, I do think the first goal's lucky. The Haaland one. He doesn't know what's happened. It's just eating off Canate. Then they've had the goal, which I think Van Dijk's lazy in the block. And by that time, you're 2-0 down at the Etihad, but you're climbing a fucking big ladder there. You're fucked pretty much. And then you've got to try and come at them. and then they get the third. I don't think City were amazing yesterday. I just think it was... I think it was quite comfortable. They were good. No, but like, Doku was unreal. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

21:50Lewis Bowden:Individual brilliant. Doku on his own kind of destroyed them. But I thought City were just comfy. And they defended well. No, no, but... Liverpool didn't get charts. That's my point. It was just, it was comfy. I wouldn't say that was like a vintage, unbelievable Man City. No. At the peak of their powers. It was just... I feel like they kind of got the goals and it was like, it's done now. It's easy. Liverpool can't really get back Is that not a sign of how good they were then? No, it's a sign of how good City just are, if that's not their best. Would you say that's... It's not the best, but I feel like...

22:22Lewis Bowden:Usually, if I said to you, City have just beat Liverpool 3-0, you'd have thought, fucking hell, they must have been at the peak of their powers. They weren't. It's not the same Liverpool, is it?

22:29Reev:I think Liverpool are just poor. City were good and Liverpool were poor. Yep. But hey, speaking of getting Spurs'd, Spurs got Spurs and United got Spurs. Both got Spurs'd. Yeah. Rich Hall said stop taking your fucking t-shirt off learn your lesson he scored the winner twice he took his t-shirt off twice and then they haven't won the game he keeps doing it then they concede a minute later it's like me surely he never does that again is this the best no he will is this the best weekend

23:01Lewis Bowden:we've had so far footy yeah I know we've had penalty misses drama yeah drama dislob goals I'm just trying to West Ham Burnley Sunland Arsenal great this was a great game Palace Brighton 0-0

23:15Theo:yeah other than that every single other game has been pretty pretty dramatic and interesting well just saying the results yeah no yeah thanks mate you know what I mean is that a better result for Tottenham or a better result for Man United

23:28Lewis Bowden:I think in the end United getting a draw

23:31Theo:United were the better team

23:33Lewis Bowden:though I think it's a better result I think it's a better result for Man United yeah but it's contextual

23:37Theo:isn't it explain they've got a last minute equal I know but like going into this game I feel like Man United are happier with that drop obviously they're away but like Spurs I feel like Spurs I feel like Spurs are aiming

23:51Lewis Bowden:I think after that first half United will be disappointed they didn't win that they let Spurs back into that game second half I thought five games unbeaten now Man United as well they are looking better they are looking better maybe Amarim did just need to stick it out

24:05Theo:yeah quite clearly

24:06Lewis Bowden:yeah but still Still, still, they managed to nearly throw it away. It's... I like the new goalie, though. He's really solid. He's really solid. Yes, you're right. I like him a lot.

24:16Theo:And the big money signings are obviously clicking now as well. And Buma's getting a goal pretty much every week at the moment. One player of the month. It was a lovely header. Yeah, it was a good header. And there's still a lot more to come from Sesko as well, which is reassuring. That's not what you said. How do you know that? He's been shit, but there's more to come from him. How do you know? Because he's not doing fuck all at the moment. You're being harsh, aren't you? I know what's being harsh, but like... I was never right. There's obviously more than come from Sesko. He missed a sitter.

24:41Lewis Bowden:Yeah, I know. But I mean, even before that, his performance, I think when he's played, he's been all right. I know, but like... He's been all right. He's not been Jokeres. Oh, yeah. Well, thank God. Thank God. Fucking... Oh, yeah. Sesko above Jokeres. So 17th for Jokeres. 18th. 18th. Best striker in the league. You said that anyway when you did the list. If Sesko starts being a bit clinical and getting himself in those opportunities,

25:06Theo:They also seem defensively... I know, obviously, they concede semi every game at the moment, but they seem defensively much better. Yeah, you'll be really sexy today. Sorry, guys. Is it just because they've got a better keeper, so they just feel more confident? Honestly, that would be... It might just be that, right? I think it gives a lot of lack of nerve.

25:24Lewis Bowden:Yeah, yeah, yeah, it is. It really... It's amazing how much just a solid goalie... Goalkeeper settles the back line. That's why I want Ramsden on goal. Just someone who can kick a ball. Sorry. Who do you think is going to finish higher? I... Man United currently, you know. I don't know. I'm starting to turn on Man United. They're both such weird teams. Both on 18 points. One thing I will say, I think Man United are the most entertaining team in the league. Because you never know what you're going to get. I just think they create, well, they're starting to create a lot more. They always give up chances.

25:51Lewis Bowden:I just think they're end-to-end. These are like a basketball game that was second half. Like a box of chocolates? What?

25:57Reev:Like a box of chocolates? You know what you're going to get in the chocolates. You never know what you're going to get. It says on the tins. You never know what you're going to get. It depends on what chocolates you get. Name some chocolates that you don't know what you're going to get. Rebels? Well, you're going to get Rebels in there, aren't you? Oh, Mog! Mog alert, guys! Can we get Mog counter on screen? Can we get the Mog lights?

26:16Theo:But logically, it could be United, because they only have to play one game a week, don't they, really?

26:19Lewis Bowden:But no, can you think of anyone better? I think they're most entertaining teams I watch. United? Yeah. Don't you dare say Arsenal. I did it! I wasn't even going to go there anyway. Or Sunderland, maybe. But Sunderland do sit back a lot sometimes. I think it's the most boring team. Oh, Wolves. Yeah. Producer's nodding.

26:42Reev:Talking of Wolves.

26:43Theo:Speaking of,

26:43Reev:yeah. Fucking hell, mate. Is that Gusto's first ever goal? Just propping, propping up the table.

26:49Theo:And if that doesn't say everything about Wolverhampton Wanderers, then fuck me. Yeah. You've got right back scoring heads. Successful hate watching the pub. I remember when... You've made Garnaccio look like a proper Premier League quality footballer, mate. That's hard. That's really hard.

27:04Lewis Bowden:it's just a dig at Garnaccio

27:05Theo:Garnaccio he's really good yeah he is yeah no

27:08Lewis Bowden:Garnaccio he's a little bastard but he's he's a good player he's looking good

27:12Theo:in this Chelsea team at the moment as well he's a good player

27:14Lewis Bowden:yeah

27:14Theo:thoughts Will

27:17Lewis Bowden:yeah we're fucked up right there with you mate do you not think I can't Rob Edwards now I can't believe how easily you give the ball away I remember the first like five minutes Bellegarde I reckon give the ball away three times in like a 30-second sequence. And I was like, but he was like, he literally just passed it straight to a Chelsea player. I was like, you do know you mean orange or yellow or whatever your shit kit is. Yeah, I genuinely think if they had like open-door trials, half of Wolverhampton would make the team. And all your chances fall to Manetzi. Yeah. And he can't kick a ball.

27:55Lewis Bowden:Yeah, it's the wrong person every time. It's not his fault. I don't think he's as good as people think he was. It's not, but then like the one first half when he goes through and he trips over the ball it's like maybe it's contagious no I think what it is things like that I know it could be spreading to him he's so out of the game and he's so like just not being involved when he is involved it's like he's cold he's not hard and he can't just have three touches imagine when he's thinking he's all the way up top just watching all that shit unfold it's like what the fuck is all this yeah I mean

28:24Reev:do you think that Rob Edwards is sort of a sign that they expect a relegation no I think no

28:30Lewis Bowden:I think it'll be backed in January yeah it'll be backed and also he's got a good record of getting teams up, and he's got a good record.

28:35Theo:It's a bit of a mountain to climb at the moment, though, isn't it? Yeah. It's not mountain high enough.

28:39Lewis Bowden:Mate, they're eight points adrift from safety. That is eight points. I don't think that's that crazy with the teams you look at. Leeds and Burnley are shit. Leeds and Burnley are really, really bad. Not as bad as Wolves, mate. They beat us. They beat us a modern year, though. I know, I understand. 23-1. With Edwards coming in, if you spend in January, it only takes two wins here. I know it sounds tough. It'll only take two wins for Wolves and their arses will start to flap. Yeah. Promisher.

29:04Theo:But what if they've got a couple of wins in that point as well? But they're not picking up wins. Yeah, they are. Burnley got two wins in the last five.

29:11Lewis Bowden:Burnley beat Wolves, that's what I mean. Yeah, it still matters though. It still wins. That's a six-pointer. Yes, I understand your point, but... Yeah, exactly. I think... Thanks for understanding my point. Thanks for understanding my point. I just think... I think you'll see them two start to really just lose every week. Their arses would flap in playing them if their arses were to flap.

29:33Theo:If they had a flappy bum, it would flap playing them. Yeah, bursting Wolves, yeah. Because they'd be like, this game's so important and it's the Wolverines.

29:40Lewis Bowden:No, because... I know what my point is. If Wolves can manage to start turning it around with Edwards coming in, which is likely, with a new manager coming in... Sorry, not likely, but... And a chance. Yeah, there's a decent chance that Edwards can come in and make an immediate change. like we see with a lot of managers coming in. Who've Wolves got next? Justine Leeds fixtures. Palace at home. So Wolves have got Palace at home, right? That is not a crazy fixture where you couldn't see Wolves picking up a win or something.

30:10Reev:Burnley's fixtures are all right. Leeds' fixtures are fine. Leeds are going to look at that and have a new manager by the end of that. And Leeds are terrible in front of the goal. They've got Villa at home, City away, Chelsea at home, Liverpool at home, Brentford away. Well, they've got three points in there.

30:23Theo:Yeah, there's Liverpool.

30:25Lewis Bowden:And then who've Burnley got? Burnley got Chelsea, Brentford, Palace, Newcastle. That's a win away from... The problem is, you can't see Burnley beating any of those teams, can you? They could beat Fulham. Mate, you know what? No, you're at home, though. We'll be playing Tenali left back by the time it gets to that game. I don't know, look. I don't know why I'm trying to be positive for them. Because you support them.

30:52Theo:You'd like to think that from their next 11 games, they'll get more than two points a year.

30:55Lewis Bowden:I think Rob Edwards is quite a good manager. I think he will make an improvement. And his two names are both first names. Edwards isn't the first name. Edward is, though. Yeah, but Edwards is... That's not his name. Unless it's Rob Edwards. It is Rob Edwards. We're talking in Edwards because we're talking about him. There's multiple Rob Edwards. I'm not sure that's true.

31:14Theo:It is. Rob Edwards, he just got multiple. And can you name the one other Premier League manager who has two first names? Yeah, Mikel Arteta.

31:22Reev:Arteta? Everton, 2-0. Wait, are Chelsea in a title race? You know how there is to be out there? When's Parma back? Soon, apparently. Only two points behind City. I think it's a two-horse race, but Chelsea would just be like... How can it be a two-horse race? You've already won it. You've already won. Oh, yeah, no, sorry. What? When's he back? Okay, let's just fucking sack off this whole binocchi. Back after the international break?

31:44Theo:It's a two-horse race, isn't it? Is it? Enzo's out for the international break, isn't he? He came from... He's fine. It was just a precaution. Yeah, it's just an international break. Yeah. He keeps saying the next few weeks, but it's been next week it's an on-grown

31:58Reev:groin injury right it's a lot of I'd like you to return before December okay so a couple more weeks okay no one really knows today yeah Everton won 2-0 yeah Everton not allowed no sorry can we just focus on how you spelt Fulham how do you not know how to type it's about Fulham F-U-L-E-G-H-A-M

32:22Lewis Bowden:it honestly could have been six

32:26Reev:where they had three ruled out Fulham were terrible it's all just weird isn't it Fulham are bad this year but they also seem like they're not

32:36Theo:they've had a couple results at home haven't they pretty much like all the bad teams at the moment they

32:43Lewis Bowden:their saving grace will be there's way worse teams than them what? saving grace?

32:49Reev:there's worse teams that will go down

32:52Theo:they could be pulled in

32:53Lewis Bowden:but that's what Tom's saying yeah they're nowhere near as bad as Leeds or Burnley are they or Wolves no but

33:00Reev:stranger things have happened what stranger things well Leicester won the Leeds yeah the gore team

33:05Lewis Bowden:no Everton are just going to keep doing what they do win at home and then lose away yeah because they just can't win away from home that's not that's not going to be a successful football club that

33:15Reev:hmm and just the guy's pretty good do you know how old he is

33:18Lewis Bowden:by the way

33:18Theo:yeah 21 no he's 29 He's not 21. Guess how old Idrissi Gay is. 23. I feel like the reason you've said that is because he's obviously a lot younger than we perceive. Maybe 25? Okay.

33:29Lewis Bowden:Will, get Idrissi Gay's age up. 21, isn't he?

33:34Reev:Probably 21. I saw him score for 19. I can't be right. 36?

33:42Lewis Bowden:Whoa. What the fuck? What? Mate, he looks 17. He's like the third oldest player in the league. What? No fucking way. How mad is that?

33:51Reev:He's well fit as well.

33:52Theo:Some of the most ground as well.

33:54Lewis Bowden:Honestly, I couldn't believe it.

33:56Reev:Remember seeing him score for PSG? What? When we cycled to PSG. Oh, yeah. He scored a good goal. To Paris, yeah.

34:04Theo:Damn. Mate, this guy's elite. Dude. Jesus Christ. He's well good. He's 36. Yeah. He's 11 years younger. That is crazy. He looks really young. That's kind of beast sport.

34:14Reev:In Jai's pretty good as well.

34:16Theo:In Jai's good.

34:16Reev:Yeah, Everton are good, aren't they, guys? They are good. I'll tell you who has turned it around since a new appointment Nuno and West Ham yeah yeah they look better

34:27Theo:they've been fortunate they've played two really bad teams in the still gotta get it done though mate still gotta get points yeah

34:32Lewis Bowden:with the previous manager they were the fucking I get what you did I get what you did

34:37Theo:yeah yeah it wasn't really like it just a dig mate do you reckon Mr. Maranakis

34:40Lewis Bowden:will be regretting his decision no Mr. Maranakis never regrets never regrets no regrets he's actually in a lot of trouble Maranakis Why?

34:51Reev:Over in Greece.

34:51Lewis Bowden:He always gets court cases, then he just pays people off. Whoa. Allegedly, Mr. Maran. Sorry, allegedly. Have you not heard the story about the guy? This is going to be a sexual thing. No, there was... I've been down this road. I've heard this. This is a true story. Some people were like, the day before they were going to testify against him in court, their family's like bakery shop got set on fire. Oh, fuck. That's literally... I thought you were going to tell us.

35:20Theo:And then someone was found with a sausage in their ass.

35:24Lewis Bowden:You've been really, really immature and unprofessional. That's what you said about the Mount Everest guy. But yeah, he always seems to just get away with it. What's he in trouble for? I can't remember.

35:34Theo:Is he the road guy?

35:37Lewis Bowden:Yeah, yeah, yeah. And he also, when all the match fiction was going on, he managed to just somehow escape it all. Mr. Maranakis, please. So yeah, Mr. Maranakis, he'll be fine. He'll just...

35:46Reev:Net worth five billion?

35:48Lewis Bowden:Yeah. What? What does he do? Well, that's another thing. Inciting gang by then. I don't want to be, I don't want to accuse anyone of any. Yeah, we shouldn't really

36:01Theo:think about a man that has that. Yeah, he might come for us as well.

36:06Lewis Bowden:Because I actually really like going to Greece, so I'm not going to.

36:08Theo:Yeah, it's a good point. I also like Greece.

36:11Reev:I also think Greece is a great player. Greece is good.

36:15Theo:Greece is good.

36:15Reev:And Boris has done it. Bloody Sean Dyche, mate. Oh great result mate That was the previous manager That was a good answer That means Forrest are now

36:27Theo:Do you reckon he's watching up to 19th Do you reckon he's still watching? I watch it all the time Is that good? It feels good Fucking Australian Batman

36:38Reev:Similar to West Ham Forrest has had a few too many good individual players Forrest will be fine I do think you do get a bit

36:48Lewis Bowden:excited about the table this early on. You're talking to him specifically?

36:52Reev:Only from second to 20th.

36:54Lewis Bowden:Every game you're going, well, they're up to 11th but there's like a point between everyone. There's eight points between relegation and Champions League. Yeah, that's true

37:01Reev:but only up to second place. There's eight points between relegation and Champions League. Well, because first place is already done, isn't it? Yeah.

37:07Lewis Bowden:That isn't what I'm on about. What? You're missing the point but it doesn't matter. I just think, yeah. He's trying to mog you. I'm not trying to mog you at all. He's trying to incite violence now. Incite violence?

37:21Theo:What was a better bit of business for Nottingham Forest? Was it getting rid of Ange or keeping Morgan Gibbs white? Because both seem to be equally close. Getting rid of Ange, mate. Ange might have turned this around.

37:32Reev:Nah. Might have. Nah, because they wouldn't be playing this way. No, he's not. He won the European trophy. Gibbs white had us class. He's done it again, mate. He's done it again! Done it again, mate.

37:42Lewis Bowden:He has turned it around a little bit. Well done, Morgan. see the petrol station. Leeds are poor though. Leeds are really poor.

37:49Reev:Another team that

37:50Lewis Bowden:And they've got horrifically hard fixtures coming up as well. They just can't score, mate. They're so bad in front of goal.

37:56Reev:The thing is with Calvert-Lewin, right?

37:58Lewis Bowden:It's not just him, though. It ain't just him.

38:01Reev:Calvert-Lewin gets so many chances and he makes so many chances for himself. He's actually incredible at everything

38:05Theo:Bar put in the ball in the net.

38:07Reev:He'll do it. That's a striker.

38:08Theo:No, I know, I know. That's another one ahead of Yoko Reus. Oh, yeah. Oh, fuck off. That's too far.

38:14Reev:19th now? That's absolutely too far.

38:17Lewis Bowden:Oh yeah, I can't see Leeds getting out of this. Really? Leeds and Burnley, I just think...

38:24Theo:New manager? But who's going down with them? Wolves. So you think... What do you mean we'll put it to the start of the season again? I said the three that come on. You said three, you said... Burnley, Brentford and Tundell and everything.

38:36Reev:What do you say? I can't remember if it were two. Did I put Wolves down? I feel like I did, didn't I? Yeah, you did. Yeah, I think you said Wolves. No, I've done it again. only 27 games left in the season

38:45Lewis Bowden:you put Wolves 11 no I said Wolves mid-table but you support them though I mean who's laughing now are you reverse jinxed it is that what you're going to claim it as no I did think they'd have a good season but I don't care that they're not oh you're too funny to even be bothered about the wrong prediction I'd rather predict them to do well and they do shit than them to do shit and they do well because that's what

39:08Reev:I've done with Sunderland do you see Lewis Question for you Who did Bournemouth Lose away to At the weekend It's Aston Villa Yeah Yeah Villa

39:19Lewis Bowden:Mate Villa Stop trying to combine Let them have their own thing He's so desperate To be a part of it

39:24Theo:You gotta let the birds fly

39:25Lewis Bowden:Let them I wanted to see it in person You're so desperate To be a part of it mate I wanted to see it in person He did it on the stream The other day He was in the flat The other night You know Charlie went to us She was like What is this By the way And she was like Why do you keep saying I'm the villain I was like shit is he here and then I sat running around the flat as if he was in the flat and she didn't really find anything I think your girlfriend might think you're

39:48Reev:batshit crazy I thought it was funny she was like scared because I was sat there looking for the villain she was hiding in the cupboard the fact there was no audience there is a bit weird by the way Tom

39:59Lewis Bowden:Tom predicted Villa to struggle no I didn't yeah you did yeah you did no I didn't yeah you did I predicted Villa to be like 7th or 8th on a 6th mate oh god Why wasn't the question for Brentford? Oh, Reeve predicted Brentford to go down. Have they surprised you?

40:15Reev:Because the Oracle's never wrong.

40:16Lewis Bowden:But I'm still not wrong.

40:18Theo:Yeah, I think that is the very accurate theory, actually.

40:21Lewis Bowden:Aston Villa are on the same points as ninth, and I predicted them to finish seventh or eighth struggle. No, but I think you said that they would struggle.

40:28Reev:That is a struggle for them. Why are you going red? The thing is, Tom, you actually... Where they were. Tom, the difference is, right, is that you can remember when we're all wrong, whereas you say stuff that is wrong all the time, but we can't remember. And every time we now have proof, if we have to write

40:39Theo:here William keep doing it you had Villa 8th

40:43Lewis Bowden:there you go and they're 6th

40:44Reev:so you were wrong they're level on points with 9th irrelevant mate they're 6th they're 6th

40:50Lewis Bowden:right so is me predicting them 8th is that predicting them to struggle you've had a fucking stinker is it you've had a stinker they've turned their table around you're a little fucker in that corner they've turned it around

41:01Reev:they're looking class they're scoring goals and Wendy a free kick is class yes great goal great goal but big difference at 2-0 wasn't it Semenya's penalty they also weren't

41:11Lewis Bowden:they also didn't batter Bournemouth it was actually quite an even game which sounds crazy considering it was 4-0 Bournemouth missed a lot of chances and a penalty and they were just

41:20Reev:pretty clinical weren't they I know I'm agreeing with you you said and a penalty I know I'm adding to your point I agree with you and add to your point and then you still laugh

41:29Lewis Bowden:but nothing needed to be added I'd said they missed a lot of chances and you went and a penalty

41:34Reev:don't let Mog I was just agreeing he's already been Mog if anyone was sucking up to him I was adding to him I can tell him. You should have been monged too late. Oh mate, don't let him mug you like that. You could have bought back there. When you've been monged, you've been monged. Bournemouth are already down in ninth,

41:46Theo:by the way. That's how quickly the landscape changed. Bournemouth. Yeah, but they're level on points with fifth. No, that's what I mean. That's how tight it is. Yeah, but they're ninth. What?

41:57Lewis Bowden:No, they're not. No, they're ninth. Fucking hell, that was the most. Cheers, cheers, Will. Cheers, Will. This is why we don't look at the table this early on because everyone there's like

42:06Theo:too congested not the championship let's not look at it ever Arsenal have won the league

42:09Lewis Bowden:we're three points off third and we're 14th like everything's just like yeah let's not let's not look at the Prem please but Arsenal won the league oh Theo you want me to kill myself don't you he's trying to mongin by Palace Brighton did everyone get home safe from that derby do you know because he suddenly said it's a nasty one

42:33Reev:Now you've got to separate them at the train station. It's crazy scenes. Oh. There's eagles actually spotted. Flying over with the seagulls. Yeah, a seagull. Who would win in a fight? A seagull or an eagle? A eagle. What's the prediction show? You'll see it play out live. What eagle? A lot of eagles. Old eagle? Golden eagle? Seagulls could be sized. What about a blind eagle?

42:51Lewis Bowden:That wouldn't win, would it?

42:52Reev:No, a seagull would win that. What about a blind dead eagle?

42:54Lewis Bowden:That would not be a seagull. Who wins that fight then? Can any animal that's dead against a 10-foot seagull? Is it a 10-foot seagull? Isn't every animal that's dead blind? No. Or can't see? No. That's a good point. No, no, no. Can't see. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The definition is you can't see.

43:08Reev:We can't think either. It's dead. Yeah, but he is right in saying

43:13Lewis Bowden:that technically you can't see anything. We don't know that, though. You don't know if you can't see when you're dead. And you can't ask it because it won't respond. Did you? Here's one thing. Great point, Luke. You know parrots can speak, right?

43:24Reev:And they actually understand commands. If you walk in, it'll say hi to you because it knows when to say hi. You know a raven can do it as well. And crows? Yeah. Ravens can't talk. Yes, they can. No, they can't. They can. Ravens can't talk. Yes, they can. Nor they cannot talk. It's the future of I can see. Ravens cannot speak. Now to, we all have to say a different player, by the way, and I'll start. So we're going to end this segment. No, no, no. You always go first. No, no, no, no, no. No, it's my show. This is my show. Tom, this is my show. It's my show. It's my show. No, it's my show. All right.

43:57Lewis Bowden:It's my show. So player of the weekend we're going to do, I'm going to go first. I'm going to go with Jeremy Doku. And everyone's got to choose a different player.

44:04Theo:That's understandable. I'll go Thomas Suchek. I'll go... What? Go on an assist off the bench. Oh, my God. Fuck off, Ree. He played for like 20 minutes. We've had this argument before. I can't pick your player.

44:16Reev:We've had this argument before. So pick another one. No, no, no, no, no. You can't change. Can't change. Now, next. Buendia. Yeah, I'm going to go Igor Thiago. Nice.

44:25Theo:Fucking Suchek, mate. I changed it. I said Dan Ballard.

44:27Lewis Bowden:Stinky. You can't change it, mate, once you said it. once you're locked in

44:29Theo:you just gave me a pat on the back

44:33Reev:and if you are Jeremy Doku Buendia Suchet Ballard or who do I say Igor Thiago and you're watching this right now be sure to leave us a message on Instagram saying thank you

44:46Theo:right we're 11 games into the season guys obviously there have been a lot of Premier League signings over the summer we are going to do a tier list on the 20 most expensive summer signings. And you can all follow along on screen. S-A-B-C-D as per usual.

45:03Lewis Bowden:A lot of Liverpool players in here. A lot of Liverpool players.

45:06Reev:A lot of Red, actually.

45:08Lewis Bowden:There's also three new players in here. Fucking hell. They spent a bit of money, didn't they, in the summer? Considering Eddie Howe's done it on a shoestring budget. A lot of people missing their heads, though. By the way, we can only...

45:18Theo:Try and work out who they are. Why are their heads missing?

45:22Reev:By the way, we can only... We can't be the whole, like, I think they'll come good. that is relevant of a transfer sometimes though well it's not because we're basing it

45:30Lewis Bowden:right now it's a tier list

45:32Theo:of how they're doing I don't think

45:33Lewis Bowden:that's how you that's how we're doing it we're ranking you could buy a 19 year old for the future and like oh we've seen that this morning is going to be worth it I feel like exactly so that's based on what we've seen but it's yeah but it's a bit of Borg like Estabao looks fucking class he's going to be even better I feel like you wear them up

45:50Reev:Borg a little bit right let's start with Goranacho Goranacho he limbed up does not have sleeves how much was Goranacho cheap yeah we're gonna need to have a price here he's been alright isn't he he's not been amazing but he's been good he's not been amazing but he's been alright I'm saying

46:07Lewis Bowden:I think he's been better than alright really I think he's a huge he's been playing well was it 40 mil well Goranacho was not that expensive for someone his age and also I think

46:17Reev:if he I had this conversation with Rory I said I had this talking with Rory earlier I was like this guy could be another Rory drive I don't know what show you think you're on here bud I fucking love him he's a great guy carry on I think if he just has someone like him wrestling you can just see like fucking sort it out all the time he could be generational okay I think he's just a generational yeah B please by the way you noticed you said generational he's 20 years old yeah yeah he's not he's older than that he's 20 he's 21 you think he could be generational fucking why not mate

46:53Lewis Bowden:right Who's that? Kirk Hez? Oh, D. D. Disgracefully bad. That is so poo-poo.

47:01Reev:It just shows the levels of these clubs though. Like this guy was like one of the best players of the league last year and now he's one of the worst.

47:07Theo:Was he in the like official team?

47:09Reev:I don't know, but he was great, wasn't he? Yeah, he's been really good for Bournemouth, but like we said,

47:13Lewis Bowden:there's levels, aren't there? Step up and play for a bigger team.

47:16Reev:He's been injured, but when he's played, he's been good. B, B, B. I think he's been good. Really? Yeah. It's exciting him. You can't knock him for being injured, but when he's played, he's been good. He was way better than what I expected. He hasn't registered a goal or assisting all these performances, though. When you watch him play, he's been good. Tom, he's been all right.

47:36Lewis Bowden:You know about the eye test, my friend. Yeah, he's been all right. He's been like, they spent 60 million. Do your eyes deceive you? They did spend 60 million. How much was Madweki? 55, something like that. 45. It weren't that. it was more than that it was minimum 50 he said 60

47:51Theo:it's in order and Alanga was 50 right you have to think about he was like 50 odd million you have to think about the market rate though Tom for an English young English player and a sign from a Premier League to another Premier League that is like the that is a normal fee for him but like Alanga went for a simple fee but he performed way worse like I said okay I apologise that's he's beef are you fucked on this he is that's actually quite cheap for a player like him who's young in English Agree Yeah Be fair I don't see the argument for C

48:21Lewis Bowden:Yeah I think he's had a couple of decent games And that's it He's done nothing in those decent games Other than beat his man a few times You fucking love that I do love that to be fair

48:33Reev:Do you hate him? No

48:35Lewis Bowden:I think we're getting mixed up with the England performances When he's been scoring But I think He hasn't scored a goal That does come into account of the player that they have He's injured But we've seen the player that he is and he has signed for actually under market value. But we saw the player he was at Chelsea and he's performing similar to how he did there. That is actually, they've actually got a good deal. Got him underneath the going rate really for a young English player as well. That is a big... I think it's hard putting him in the same as Garnaccio. He's actually like produced. Reindeers.

49:05Lewis Bowden:Reindeers. Great start. Interesting. See, he's annoyed me him. Reindeers. Why? Why is he annoyed you? He was in my FPL team and I kept calling him the new Gundogan but now he's just fucking missing plant chances.

49:17Theo:He's been dropped Fizzled out hasn't he

49:20Lewis Bowden:Gittens I mean we haven't seen A lot of him He's got a banger at Wolves That's a good reason To like him How much he cost

49:27Reev:Do you know what Every time he comes on He's alright isn't he Was he 60 How much was he Just under 50

49:32Lewis Bowden:I think he's I don't Same as Rinders Yes see We haven't seen enough of him But do you know what though

49:37Reev:He's not been awful

49:38Lewis Bowden:If we put him

49:38Reev:Same as Rinders He had a good start To the season Settled in

49:42Lewis Bowden:He can't go D though Did he have a good start Or did he have one good game At Wolves

49:45Reev:He had a good start He did have good stuff.

49:47Theo:There's no way

49:47Reev:Gittins can go next to Kirkos.

49:49Theo:I know he drew a game but he had a good

49:51Reev:I think we have to put Reinders up. I don't mind Reinders in V. He's not being horrendous.

49:57Lewis Bowden:He's been bad lately, mate. He's been dropped.

49:59Reev:He hasn't been bad. I mean, he was cheap. I guess he was cheap. He hasn't been bad. Oh, I think he's been if anything, he's been good. Good. He was cheap. He was cheap. I think we got up Reinders. I feel like we are going to have problems down the line. Yeah, Reinders got going V, mate. He's a good designer. Yeah. Yeah. Is that Jal Pedro? Yeah, Jal Pedro. Oh, okay.

50:20Lewis Bowden:A. He's hot and cold as well.

50:21Reev:Yeah, yeah. What? Oh, B, man. He's been better than Garnac.

50:24Lewis Bowden:There's no way we're putting Pedro in the same list as fucking Madwecky.

50:29Reev:I know he went on a non-able to shoot at a goal for a bit of a period of time, but he's still getting goals. He helped them win the Club World Cup.

50:35Lewis Bowden:He's been way better than Madwecky. I'm saying A. Wait, I thought... You want him higher? I said A. He can't be in that list. I said A.

50:46Theo:Why not A? Well, he's a number nine that went five games without a shot on target. I agree with you, but I'm looking at the rest of them. That's the half the season he's played. We are going to have to spread them out because otherwise no one's actually going to get this. Okay, I mean...

50:59Reev:He's still got four goals, three assists. Barrier. In 11 games. In the Premier League. He's got seven goals all comps. For someone who's not...

51:06Lewis Bowden:He's a cam. He's never been a goal scorer. He's better than the three. He's better than our position. Even the Forest game where he didn't score assists. He played well, though.

51:14Reev:He's got 10 goal contributions 17 games this season.

51:17Lewis Bowden:He's doing well right. Feeling in for that.

51:20Reev:And was good in the club well, cool. Agreed. This whistle one's a bit harsh. You've been mobbed and told there, Reeve. I don't know.

51:26Theo:I don't mind him in A if the others are going to stay in B, but like if Tom said, if we put Jaipo in B, other people have to move down. No, but we said A and you were saying to put him in B. I think it is fine. I was going to say B, but I think it is right.

51:38Lewis Bowden:I don't know what we do. We can't do this. I mean, like, I think you put him C because we pitted over the ultimate. Put him in D? So we'll put... No, you don't put D. He's still a very good injured player. I know, but you've got to put him somewhere. He's not D. He's got a good D then, isn't he? He's got a good D. He hasn't played. Yeah, but you know he's a really good player. What were you going to say about Isaac? Mate, he moaned about getting a move and he's got injured. You've moaned D if you want, but we've signed a good striker. It's not a bad sign. He's just injured. We don't know if he's a good sign.

52:03So far, it's been a bad sign. You know, you've seen him in the Premier League. we've also seen

52:07Theo:Isak in the Premier League so far Isak's been a good signing for Liverpool no but there's a bit of a disparity on we've seen Isak actually play football for Liverpool number one as well he won't that bad he missed more games than he's played we've seen Isak play for the country and his club and he's been really poor for both he watched Sweden games yeah but the basis that you're doing it he watched Sweden games he's been terrible for both of them Theo I've seen that actually I have hate watching for the Sweden I've hate watching the Isak highlights I don't understand how

52:36Lewis Bowden:we cannot put Visser in doing it. He's going to put where I won. No, but I'm saying you still have time. We're not predicting who's going to be a good transfer. Lord of the voice. I'm talking calm. Let's calm down, Todd. I don't think my voice is in that. You can't give him the benefit of the doubt when he's not played a minute. I think we signed a striker who's a good Premier League striker. But nobody knows it. I was denying that. Apparently, it's been a bad sign, I don't think you understand the basis of the game. Put him D if he's won. I don't get it. I'm not. I'm saying bottom D

53:00Theo:it's currently isn't it Elanga D yeah 100 % nothing for don't look at me boys you're not getting anything from me on that I can see you tearing up no he's not playing good enough he's going to grab the mic he ain't playing good enough I just don't I mean he should come good but he's not really he can't string a pass together at the moment these players are like really good footballers

53:22Lewis Bowden:it's a low confidence with Elanga it's a low confidence he's like a mid-table Premier League winger and Elanga but he's fast and can dribble with it.

53:30Reev:So why don't you do that?

53:31Lewis Bowden:But no, he's great with open space on the break, like at Forest. But with Newcastle, when you're against low blocks, he cannot function. Yeah, being asked to figure it out. There's a few issues where he's just like some sloppy passes that are really easy passes. He's technically not great. That just tells me like he's just also a confidence grout like on the floor. Like if you're not making five yard passes, it's like, come on, mate. He will come good. He won't. But it does come down to like us just silent athletes rather than technical ability. He needs to get to Palace. You seen him at Sweden?

54:04No, he didn't start. Because I actually

54:06Reev:have been watching some Sweden highlights. I'll rate that. You didn't expect me to know that? No, I just can't believe you've been watching a Sweden highlights. It's fucking crazy. I hate watching them though. I hate football. I can't believe you're on a football podcast and you're watching players relevant to the league and the podcast. It's crazy. Why have you got so red? Oh, that's so good. You keep walking into the munch like crazy. You hate that so much. You're watching Sweden-friendly highlights. It doesn't matter how he gets his info, does he? He's hate watching or... The moggan's starting to make me feel bad at the moment.

54:34Theo:All right, next up, Xavi. Simmons.

54:37Lewis Bowden:By the way, I'd... C or D, he's been bad.

54:40Theo:Yeah, he has been bad.

54:41Lewis Bowden:But he has had a few moments. I don't think it's a D yet. Not quite.

54:46Theo:He just doesn't look... I don't know, like Premier League shot. He does show spurs, though, man.

54:50Lewis Bowden:He does show little moments. Is that what he spurs, though? He's a bit lightweight. Yeah, he is. He got absolutely barged over. Who was it again? I can't remember who it was. Just planted him to the floor like he was a child. The Newcastle game for the Cup as well. He gave the ball away so much.

55:05Theo:It was the Chelsea game. Yeah, I can't remember which player it was, but it was a bit embarrassing to watch. Yeah, I think it was quite sad, wasn't it? I'm pretty sure.

55:11Lewis Bowden:No, it was Dennis Wise. Kudos. A?

55:17Theo:Yeah.

55:18Reev:Same level as Joe Pedro. He needs more end product. He doesn't really get the goal. He's an assist producer. I know he is. I know he is, but I feel like he could, as good as he's been, give it more. He is playing pretty much 90 minutes a match as well, like robust.

55:33Lewis Bowden:I'm not even going to get into it.

55:34Reev:What?

55:35Lewis Bowden:It doesn't matter.

55:36Reev:I don't get what you're saying. Go on.

55:37Lewis Bowden:You're talking about he needs more end product. Madweck, he's got zero goal, zero assist. That's why Kudis is above him, mate. But that's where he shouldn't be in B. Kudus has had a bit more end product yeah and Kudus

55:48Reev:played way more than Madweke yeah what I'm saying to Kudus he just starts scoring more he's got the talent I think he's got the talent okay so what I don't get what you disagree with he was scoring more at West Ham than he did wait no Tom please explain I told you get mugged I don't get what you disagree

56:01Lewis Bowden:he's got you on the rule

56:02Reev:the blokes played more football than Madweke as well

56:04Lewis Bowden:he's never been a big goal scorer though but I think he can be I would like to see it but why when he never has been was he suddenly going to become this goal scorer he's got one goal this season he's got one goal this season He does score West Ham No he's been more He's always been a creative Changing to a different club Under different management You can get more goals Out of a player You can But it's never been His style of game He's just Used to be a primary goal scorer That's not his style But he could add it to his game I can be added to him Look how Bale went And left back to a goal scorer All right So we're now going to pair Kudus to Bale Who completely changed position So does Saka Compare him to Almor Who completely changed position Exactly So people can change

56:39Reev:That's a fair point So people can change Wait Wait Wait Wait Wait People can change How many goals did Jacob Murphy get last year? I'll get on to that. He hits him and doesn't score. For us, he scored like 12 goals. Our one scored a double goal. You're telling me, Jacob Murphy went from not a goal-scoring winger to a goal-scoring winger. Because we adapted the runs and make some of the positions he gets into.

56:55Lewis Bowden:Oh, that's really funny you say that, Luke. Jacob Murphy's a great point. That is a great point. That's a very fair point. You've just said to me, oh, what about Sasser and Bale? You changed positions. Yes.

57:05Reev:They went from full-backs to wingers. Mate, you're spitting, mate. Calm down. I'm saying players can change. and I'm saying he can get more goals. They change complete positions. Of course they're going to be in the attacking end more. By the way, Tom, we just said could we can get him more goals. And this is, why are you disagreeing that? I don't get it.

57:25Lewis Bowden:But he's never been that type of player and he's playing the same position. Why is he suddenly going to become this big goal scorer? I'm saying he could do,

57:32Reev:he can do. If he wants to go on to the next level, that's the progression. Jacob Murphy. I don't get what's wrong with saying that.

57:36Lewis Bowden:Jacob Murphy's a great point. Alvaro on. But that was a complete, that was a complete one season wonder and you'd know that. No, it's not. he's one of our top goal scorers this season that is not a flex also Kudas

57:47Reev:his first season for West Ham he's scored 15 goals so he can do it and he has done it and he'll probably

57:51Lewis Bowden:score that amount

57:52Reev:this season he scored 5 last year so

57:54Lewis Bowden:there he goes he's not a prolific goal scorer is he

57:57Reev:he scored 18 for Ajax in a season before as well

58:00Lewis Bowden:oh we're going to talk about Ajax fucking Anthony you're saying he can't

58:04Reev:score goals I'm showing he can score goals

58:07Lewis Bowden:15 for West Ham in the Premier League you changed the argument

58:10Reev:if you score 14 goals for West Ham that sort of shows you can score goals. You said 15. So which one are you reading? One goal. Fucking hell, mate. Cry more. 14 or 15. Get over it. You know you've lost the point

58:19Lewis Bowden:when you're crying over one goal difference. But what are you trying to add to them? What are you trying to add to them? Are there Premier League goals or goals in all competitions? 14 or come. Eight in the Prem. So you just said 15 Premier League goals for West Ham, but it's eight. It's still got 14 goals. He's not a prolific goal scorer. He never has been. 8 goals at the Premier League.

58:36Theo:But then he got the Franz Beckenbauer award. No, no. Jörg Muller. Alexander Haleb award it's not that you were actually wrong on this and I feel like I don't understand I don't get what your point is especially a winger they can be coached in a way to get

58:54Lewis Bowden:more goals scoring opportunities 100 % the main part of his game makes him creative not a goal scorer that's what Kudis is good at yeah and he got more goals than assists last year what?

59:07Reev:he got more goals than assists last year more goals than assists last year

59:10Lewis Bowden:He had a shit season last year. I don't know what your argument is. My point is, you were saying, I think could have seen... That's not a good argument. You were like, could have... Go to the season before again. Go to the season before. More goals than a season. That's why he's making up stats. No, 14 goals in a season. 14 goals in a season's good. I'm literally... I don't know what you're on about. You said he scored 15 Premier League goals to West Ham. He didn't. No, 14 goals in a season as a winger. Stop matching on the thing. He can score goals. He can score... Oh my God. I never said he can't score goals.

59:39Lewis Bowden:You know, you know, you did. He said he needs more output.

59:43Reev:You know Kudu says he's never got more assists than goals in a season. Never. Never done it. So? He scores more than assists. But Theo, I don't... You said he creates goals, Toms, but it sounds like Theo's... He's more of a creator. Theo's saying that. He's more creative. Yeah, but gets more goals than assists every season. Okay, you're right.

1:00:02Lewis Bowden:For his entire career. You're right then. But that's what he said. I know we're right. You're right, I concede. You're right. No, I know we're right. Let's go on to the next players.

1:00:07Reev:You can never be wrong.

1:00:08Lewis Bowden:You can never be wrong. I've just said you're right. Let's carry on. Nah, because you're not... You're crying about it, mate. You don't mean it, though. You need to say it like you mean it. What more do I need to say? Because you're saying you're right as if it's not right. But if you think... I think you know what you do. If you watch Kudus and think his main game is to get goals... But he scores more than his sister's what Theo said. I don't understand what you watch. I'm devil's advocate. I'm saying Theo's saying... You're saying he creates more, but he's saying the stats. You say one thing,

1:00:28Reev:I say the correct thing, and then, yeah, we move on. Yeah, okay, you're correct. so sorry you can never you can never just like admit it when you're in the wrong ear can you I've just said you're correct oh yeah but you're doing it with tears coming down your face come on lad do it with a smile do it with a smile

1:00:43Lewis Bowden:you're really really trying hard SA

1:00:46Reev:oh that's funny yeah SA that's game over GG sorry mate

1:00:51Lewis Bowden:thanks for coming A

1:00:53Theo:he's been better than the people in B we can't put him in those ones I put him in A in terms of I think he's a really good sign and hopefully he's going to keep At minimum, he's low A. Yeah, A. Right. What's wrong with that? No, I agree. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, no. We're here, baby.

1:01:12Reev:I think B.

1:01:16Lewis Bowden:I knew it.

1:01:19Reev:Jokeres. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He did, he did. Okay, fine. Do you think Madweke's been a better signing than Jokeres?

1:01:25Lewis Bowden:I think, yeah. Get him out of there. Put him in C.

1:01:29Reev:That's just such an agenda. That's crazy. Put him in C, mate. He hasn't scored in like 11 games. That's just not true though, is it? He scores against Burnley. Yeah, Burnley. He's on the level. You don't even believe. See, he's good.

1:01:40Theo:See, he's good. You went, you went. He's not scored in seven or so games. He's not been the worst sign in the Madrid guys. He's scored a brace against Atletico Madrid. And he's shut you up there. You just said the goalpost on him. Anyone can score against these teams. We scored three against Benfica. Where is it?

1:01:52Reev:Agenda aside, do you think Madwek has been a better sign in than Jokeres? Yes. Jokeres, I think Jokeres is going to be a detriment to your long term. I think you're going to be selling him for a loss in about a couple of seasons' time when he's not playing. Yeah, but that's not what this is. That's not what this is. Havits comes back in and he starts over. Yeah, but probably you could be right in that, but that's not what this is. It is what that is. No, you've just said... If you spend however 50 million on a striker who's not going to start in a season's time, that's pretty bad business, mate.

1:02:17Theo:No, you've just said that we're going to sell him for a loss in like three years. How is that relevant to the tier list of... Two years, I said, and also really bad business. He's not a good player. He's C. He's alongside Xavi Simmons. Xavi Simmons is a better signer than Jokeres. Are we mentally? No, he's not. Oh my God, because he got the Yerd Muller fucking shitty league. I scored a part of the shit league award. My God. We scored three teams. We scored three goals against the best team in that league.

1:02:45Reev:Where's shit? He's had two good performances, Jokeres. He's not been a worse signer than Mediweca, guys. Let's not get out of hand here. Okay, if you're on about that, let's move Mediweca down. I'm from Madrid. What? Did you see those goals?

1:02:58Theo:I can't believe this bridge. So that's not his fault. No, can we actually break down the goals? Not even Forrest in Leeds, that's four. Can we break down the Athletic Madrid goals? That's fair. Come on, man, give him some. Theo, it bounced off his shin. He didn't know a thing about it. We need it, man. He's just taking away everything.

1:03:12Reev:I understand. He's still in the positions working to get them goals. Those are the types of goals you used to argue you could be zapped in and finish. Yeah. And do you know what? You were wrong about the Haaland ones, but those ones I guarantee you finish them any mate come on I just hit him your matter wicker points fine but let's move them both down then yeah because he's not a better he's not a better signer than Xavi Simmonds who's that other Chelsea player there Gittins I think he's performed better than Xavi Simmonds he's not a better size he actually has there's no way he goes B because no because this is the problem because Volta Marder is not going to go A Volta Marder goes B and he's way better than Jokeres is he?

1:03:50is he? he has been better oh my god boys. Not recently. Oh my god, this is actually painful to hear you say this. It's not even a question to anyone.

1:04:01Theo:I think they're both in a similar tier.

1:04:03Reev:I think B is completely fair. I don't think

1:04:04Theo:Valtemar has just outrageously performed better than Jokerez.

1:04:07Reev:You notice against Sunderland just how much we missed Jokerez actually. He is extremely obviously a better signing than Jokerez, but Valtemar can't go in here. Why would you say that? I just think the way he creates and runs through the channels and creates and drops deep and stuff, we missed the out-and-out number nine, which we started to play like. I can't believe you put Jokka Rez and Kriya to the whole center. I think Arsenal looked like you missed him.

1:04:27Lewis Bowden:I think we did miss him. We were just saying how well you played.

1:04:30Reev:No, we played well, but I think we missed that focal point. Taking two centre-backs out of him. Yeah, I think we did. He's not B, mate. He's not B. He really, really, really is. Why do you hate him so much? I don't. I'm just being honest. It's not hate. He's not lust. Sounds like hate. But it's Theo.

1:04:44Theo:How do we split him? I don't. How do we split him? He's not been a worse signing than Madweke. Two for B and two for C.

1:04:50Reev:Honestly, I'm not being biased. I did my striker list. I think that's completely fair. He's not been a worse signing than fucking Madweke. Yeah, I agree. Yeah, Madweke back down as well. Like, come on, what are we doing? Yeah, move them both down. Can we swap them then? No, because then, Vortemar is not going A, but Vortemar is a better signing than Yikarez, by far. Yeah, but B's still a spectrum. No, man. Yikarez isn't in the same fucking tier. I'm too old for this. I think we've fucked up with Madweke. I think we move him down and put Yikarez alongside him. I think that is correct.

1:05:17Theo:No, Yokeres has been better than him, though. So you've got to move him up. I think Yokeres and B is just a spectrum. Yeah, well, it's a spectrum. There you go. Yokeres is above him. It's a spectrum. No, B is a middle B. I'm happy to have both the Molder and Yokeres. Get Yokeres out there. That's disgusting. That is actually disgusting. That way even this is a conversation. That's just the gender, though, mate. It's not an agenda. It's amazing that you say it's an agenda without being... whilst being so oblivious to your own agenda of Yokeres being this some sort of, like, good Simon. it's like you did the chow point against Theo last week we've watched him more than you so you think Yikarez is a better signer than Jarvis Simmons yes

1:05:54Reev:so far in the league yes based on what we've seen is amazing goals that are let go Madrid

1:06:01Theo:no no based on what they've produced each game you could put in fucking James Beatty and those chances and he finishes them yeah but that isn't the argument we're not talking about that no you're referencing is like is those two goals no I referenced those two goals because you said you're not a massive I'm not going to sit and just not debate with you Theo because that's not really the show but we're debating and then like you're now doing the boxing match you haven't actually contributed a point to why though I think Jokeres has been better than Javi Simons yeah

1:06:27Reev:but that's a why did you try and get so annoyed calm down I actually disagree with your point you're saying you missed him drop a deep and create I don't think Jokeres creates for you I think that's a mental thing to say

1:06:40Lewis Bowden:he does different things he rambles about he occupies defenders which allow space for their wingers just because he doesn't do what Volta Marder does because they're different players but then you could argue Jokeres is a more brutal finisher than Volta Marder Volta Marder's gone missing your last two games I'm saying this is the problem I don't want Volta Marder in A I think he goes B but you don't put Volta Marder and Jokeres in the same tier I think Volta Marder is a better player than Jokeres and I think he's been better than him especially coming into a worse team with no striker but as signings go though each one matches one and one matches the other Jokeres has been alright no as signings go Volta Marder is a younger player with better physical attributes better technical ability I don't think he's got better physical attributes his physical attributes are better yeah tight and I think he's just as he's not as strong Jokeres mate he's really not but the thing is Volta Marder isn't Volta Marder isn't weak but he can hold his own by far happily no one's denying that but you said he's got better physical attributes Yes, I think his height offsets the other physical attributes that Jokic has.

1:07:47He's nowhere near as fast

1:07:47Lewis Bowden:or strong than Jokic. Jokic is like a fucking brute. I think his height paired with technical ability this season as well. Height paired with technical ability and age definitely puts him as a better signing.

1:07:57Theo:He was more expensive though, Votemora, just to bring the point up. Yeah. But I think you're paying for... More expensive, same goals as Jokic is. You're paying for the better striker who's going to be long-term better. We're not judging that though. Yeah, we're doing it off now because otherwise Vissa wouldn't be in D, would it, mate?

1:08:12Lewis Bowden:I think Vissa will be a good sign but we've got to put him D because he hasn't played a game but the fact that Volman is significantly younger than Jokeres is a factor in how good of a signing is because we're judging how they've played so far that's silly you're sort of leaving out a massive part of the trap that's fair enough

1:08:33Theo:but what if he leaves in a year well then we'd recoup a lot of money because he's still young

1:08:37Reev:Eze's 27 though

1:08:38Theo:no that's a factor no but I'm saying you're trying to extrapolate the future I mean in reality nobody knows we have to do it off what's right now no but age is a factor this is a bad signing because we paid so much for such an old player that isn't what we're basing it on age is a factor when you make a signing this is like I don't know how you you're actually like 27 that's not part of it so then but then Kirkus should be higher then because he's fucking mate Eze's 27 in A yeah

1:09:01Reev:so we're not allowed to put him in A he's not fucking a child he is a child sorry you try and join in on the point and you completely miss the point every time no I'm not but he's not saying He's not even in his prime yet. So that's a weird sign. I tell you what.

1:09:14Lewis Bowden:It's like saying De Bravka is not a good sign for Bernie. That's all right. He's 27 is not in his prime then. Mate, Jokeres is 26. The price is different. Yeah, but of course, but the price is going to be different because like, Voltemard is probably more expensive than Jokeres because of his age.

1:09:26Reev:No, but you just said Eze's not in his prime yet. Niv is Jokeres and he's 27 as well. And I'm saying Voltemard is younger than Jokeres. So what's your point? Your point is that he's younger. What do you mean? So that's why he costs more. Yes, and that's what I'm trying

1:09:41going in circles. I do agree with him. I think he's a mental to not... If you have Volta Marder who we agree is a better... Well, we at least agree that he's a better player than Jokre is and he's younger and he's... We're not basing it off making a better signing. We're basing it off

1:09:56Lewis Bowden:how they've performed so far as signings. We're saying, so far, who's been the better signing? In long term, I agree, I think Volta Marder will be a better signing. But we're basing it on what we've seen so far. Even if we go off what we've seen so far, It's not a question. I don't know what we're doing. He's had as many stinkers as Jocker is. I think they're both in the same team.

1:10:17Reev:And actually, if you look at it on paper, mate, they've both got six goals and your Volta Marder's more expensive. Volta Marder is suffering from a team that is not actually supplying them that much. But yeah, in the chances that he's had, he actually had until last game. Oh, I'd have him at the top of B. He had the highest returns on his actual goal.

1:10:33Theo:I was going to concede that point. I'm willing to put him in the same tier, but he can go at the top if you're that bothered. I mean, you can put him, only if I'm out-voted, I'm out-voted. but I don't think Jokeres goes above Javi Simmons if you look at

1:10:43Reev:objectively they've both had sort of similar impacts on their team in terms of what each club needed that's not true Arsenal needed a point number 9 and Newcastle needed that striker

1:10:55Lewis Bowden:Newcastle were far more desperate for him than you were Jokeres hasn't I'm saying in terms of

1:11:01Reev:what Arsenal needed and what Newcastle needed you got the world without Jokeres

1:11:04Lewis Bowden:you win games and like he's not that much he's not that much of a loss when you don't have you. There's a huge difference in a striker playing in an Arsenal team who absolutely dominated games and a Newcastle team that's really struggling and still Voltaudmacht is returning off the very small amount of chances he's getting. He actually had more, his returns from XG was higher than Harland's because he had so many few chances. Every shot he had on target was a goal until a couple of games ago. That's how few chances he was having. So there's a difference in playing in Arsenal and playing in a Newcastle team who's really struggling and the returns, Voltaudmacht has still got more.

1:11:37I think he's a good sign. He's got more?

1:11:39Reev:No. I feel like you've just ignored everything I said there and then you said I think he's a good signer you I've actually replied and acknowledged what I said I hear what you're saying I agree with you so let's move Volta Marder above then

1:11:49Lewis Bowden:but I still think

1:11:49Reev:they're both in B I don't think he's in A oh right Zimini we're not putting Volta Marder in A he's in B yeah I think he should go top of B we voted three of them

1:11:58Lewis Bowden:but then I don't think he's like all of that A haven't been amazing they've been good I don't know why I actually like yeah when you compare Volta Marder to Gio Pedro I don't think there's like a huge tier disparity between them. Yeah, the more I think, I actually do think Valtemar is that. I think he maybe is a fucking hero.

1:12:14Reev:Jal Petro helped win the Club World Cup. It was unbelievable.

1:12:16Lewis Bowden:Yeah, but then like... Do you know what I mean? I actually agree with that point.

1:12:19Theo:I actually think Valtemar has been just as good as Jal Petro. I'd put him in a way. You'd put him in a way. I still think Jokeres is lucky with me, but we'll move on. We'll move on. Somehow you've got... Where's Valtemar in a way? I wasn't trying to even push for it, but now we've actually spoke about it. Yeah? Yeah, they're good points, mate. Yeah, that's fine. I just wonder where we, what would the conversation be without that good? Has Valdemar played

1:12:42Reev:last couple of games at Newcastle?

1:12:46The thing is, it's like, the thing is like, we were actually having a normal conversation. All you do is like throw in things without any basis. Yeah, yeah. We'll look back at that and say you're having a normal conversation. I mean, I made a great point, which you still didn't reply to. You're more than welcome to. I don't know what you said,

1:13:01Reev:to be honest, mate. I just asked if Valdemar would face you. You should listen. You're trying to rage back every two minutes. I just asked if Valdemar would face you. We were actually having a debate. All he's doing is just trying to throw out rage business. I'm like, well. And when I don't react, he's like, rage. Actually, just not true. I mentioned a great point about Sunderland.

1:13:15Theo:Zubamendi, S. Great point about Sunderland. S. The best signing of the summer, probably.

1:13:20Lewis Bowden:I think he probably hasn't been so far the best signing in the Premier League.

1:13:23Theo:How many are we putting in S?

1:13:26Lewis Bowden:We don't know. It doesn't matter. Who's next? Abumo. A.

1:13:29Theo:Yeah. Definitely. He's kicked on nicely. Upper echelons of A.

1:13:34Reev:Could you actually make a case for S? Could do. Possibly. Now getting the goals. Player of the month.

1:13:38Lewis Bowden:Possibly.

1:13:39Reev:Possibly. How much was he? I'm sorry. No, actually, he's been fucking far better than Valtemar. Yeah, go on. Yeah, he has. S.

1:13:45Theo:I'm happy to do that. There's four other players in that tier. It's funny you're worth for Valtemar. He's the best performing player at United, wasn't he?

1:13:53Lewis Bowden:65 million. 65 million.

1:13:55Theo:He hasn't been. Is that? It's more or less than Valtemar. That's less, right? That's less, yeah. Yeah. How much for Valtemar? 69, I think. 69, yeah.

1:14:05Lewis Bowden:Cunha.

1:14:05Theo:Cunha.

1:14:06Lewis Bowden:B. yeah he just had a bit of injury didn't he

1:14:09Reev:just needs to get that end product

1:14:10Lewis Bowden:didn't he but his performances have been good

1:14:12Reev:do you not think go on could you not bump him to A though couldn't you not with one goal but his performances has been very good

1:14:20Lewis Bowden:he's been good yeah but there's like it's alright he's playing well you need come on son we need a bit more from you yeah and I love Cunha he's one of my favourite players in the league but he does need to start producing numbers like and Cuomo is doing do you know what I mean for that much money like we can't like like Volta Marder Jao Pedro they've had like off games but they are still getting numbers producing yep even with

1:14:48Theo:and that's basically what he's been purchased for right output he's one of the highest scoring players goals and assists for Wolves last season so like what

1:14:56Lewis Bowden:do you think are you saying you put him above Yoko Rez then I don't think if I speak if I speak I don't know how we've got Cunha below Yoko Rez at this point He's not below Yeah put him at the top of B No but it's just the same tip You said it's a spectrum Yeah but when we Votamore was on B Put him at the top of B Couldn't you

1:15:13Theo:I think you can move him along though Yeah there you go Do that then Whatever Yeah Who's that? Sesko C C Yeah See this is where I guess this is where I'm judging

1:15:26Lewis Bowden:Go on No go on But this is what I mean You've been in and out The team haven't you This is where you're going to tell me I'm judging up the wrong things But personally I think he's a better signer Than Jokras because I think he's... Like, the returns you're going to get from Sesco when he's clicking, he's a young player. Yes, we understand that. We don't deny that, and I don't deny he may end up being a better signing. But we're not judging it in a year's time. I think you can judge it. He's like losing his head.

1:15:50Reev:Jamie's fucking fearing.

1:15:53Lewis Bowden:He just sat there, like, getting redder and redder. We're not judging it in a year's time, Lewis. This is what you need to try and understand. I think there are things you can judge. We are not... I'm telling you now, this isn't what we're doing, though. I think we can, though. We can, but we're not. Okay? As long as we agree. I'm not just... Okay, Tom, if we were... If we were... Yeah, Jokers wouldn't even be on the list. Okay, thank you.

1:16:12Theo:I think I'm not losing my mind. Well, then Izak would be a completely different score, wouldn't he? Yeah. He'd be an X. By your logic... Oh, I don't think he's going to come good. I think he's going to steer as one of the biggest, the worst... I think it's going to be like a Torres. You don't think he has the quality to become a great footballer in Liverpool. No, Izak can't play against a low block, honestly. You never have to do that with us. That's why he's gone missing. Two goals both in the Prem and Sesko.

1:16:35Lewis Bowden:He's been okay. But yeah, I want more from him. Do you think he will come good? Yeah. Sesko, no. I'm really surprised you just didn't go for him. Because you just would link with him for a long time. I don't really rate him. I think United would. He's 22.

1:16:51Theo:I think with the service, he might. It's a hard role though.

1:16:56Reev:Man United's number nine. Yeah. For his age as well.

1:16:59Lewis Bowden:Eketiko, yes.

1:17:00Reev:Do you know, wait, sorry. how much was Lammond 30 mil

1:17:04Theo:20 mil I think yeah he's cheap he won a lot good signing though very good signing he should be on there change the back line yeah Hugo I think S yeah he's a boss it's a tier above Joe Pedro so I'm not really good yeah I think and also

1:17:18Reev:in a poor performing Liverpool team we've got Double D yeah

1:17:23Lewis Bowden:actually it actually is Verts and Izak I mean I'm sorry but do you guys regret saying

1:17:29Reev:he was going to play the play of the season I thought he would he's D so nice oh yeah easily yeah I just what is I don't it just looks it doesn't make it's a different level it doesn't have the Premier League the Premier League's

1:17:41Lewis Bowden:a different ball game

1:17:42Reev:and he even Slot's even tried him on the left where he was at Leverkusen on the left that's where the major it's just not why

1:17:50Theo:yeah they're trying to I don't know and what about that he's so many things to fit in guys

1:17:55Reev:he has had injuries yeah and didn't have a pre-season because he was crying. Oh, yeah. It cost his country World Cup qualification. Unforgivable, I would say, in Sweden that. Unforgivable. Imagine Harry Kane did that. They should banish him. Maybe that's what happens when you're not a very good person. You don't put yourself first over your entire country. At least you're over it, though. I'm just going to say anything wrong.

1:18:20Theo:Interesting how you've judged him as the only person right now and everyone else you're projecting. No, I project it. I project him to be the biggest flop in everything history. what makes you think Isaac will not work out he can't play against a low block he never had to do that against teams and also at Newcastle he was of course he had to do that against teams no no no he did Isaac went missing a lot for us especially against low blocks and also it's the best strike in the world you ask me a question I'll say my points and you can respond but then also at Newcastle he was the absolute focal point to everything he's not going to necessarily be that at Liverpool and also he's got competition like he never ever had at Newcastle Newcastle, like Ekotike, there's, why, why would you start Isak over him?

1:19:03Because he's better. Look, Isak's going to score goals for Liverpool, but how many goals do you have to score to justify the 140 million? I don't think he's going to be... Minimum 20 goals a season. Yeah, but then you could say,

1:19:17Lewis Bowden:then, and also, that's a silly argument because then you'd argue, well, he can never, ever be a good signing then. It's not his fault, the price. I feel like if he's breaking 20 goals, that's a good signing. You're getting the return. Really silly. with his skill set he's going to be absolutely fine the major thing Tom as well genuinely is like his injury he does have big injury problems that's a better argument that's point number three of my that's a much better argument I don't know how true it is but there was stuff coming out from our Newcastle journalists where it's like he's got recurring growing problems and they're concerned about him playing past 30 and his ability to play he was out a lot for us remember he started he scored past Liverpool and he was out for months but ability wise and him as a person and a player he'll be absolutely fine for Liverpool and once he's back fully fit and gets a run of games he will be starting every week and Liverpool get

1:20:07Theo:a new right winger and he went there and he said he wants to win everything so that's not on the cards this year can I ask you a quick question so Jokeres and Valtemar have got four goals this season in the Premier League Isaac's got none out of three of them order who you think is going to finish the highest in the Premier League Gordon Bootis. Can we put Eketike in there as well? I mean, it's hard to see because you could argue Volta Marder bottom because we're not creating chances to score from. There's a different level of teams we're competing with. I think I think

1:20:39Reev:Izak would be top. Do you think he's going to start getting a run of games? Yeah. I think it'd be

1:20:44Lewis Bowden:Izak, Volta Marder, that joker is. We need to kick on for that to happen. We need to fix our problems. I just can't see

1:20:51Reev:Newcastle's form allowing him to get 20 goals. We do end up fixing it. I don't think you'll need

1:20:56Theo:20 goals to get more than Jokers? Just a bit concerned if Havertz is back how much game time Jokers will be getting but Depends how Havertz play I mean you'd think Jokers at number 9 for Arsenal is going to get at least 15 plus is Izac going to catch that this season? I just don't see Liverpool I just don't see him I'll say Jokers first in a number of eyes just because the amount of chances

1:21:20Reev:I actually think it'll be Jokers Volta Marth at Izac because I just think Izac will he get fit ever and also you have to respect Eketike yeah exactly that but if Eketike keeps scoring you're going to drop him younger better version people say or you start Izak on the left

1:21:38Theo:4-4 can you imagine that won't happen can you imagine it will be interesting to see what happens when Salah goes AFCON if they play Liverpool might get better if the front three

1:21:45Lewis Bowden:is very different oh I think they should play two up front

1:21:46Theo:yeah exactly that maybe they start that's what I'd be trying

1:21:49Lewis Bowden:if I was Liverpool

1:21:50Theo:well there we go something new your dream come true should we do a full review get to you get Izak alright so the Tier list of signings, guys, is as follows. In the D tier, we have Kerkhez, Visser, Elanga, Wurtz, and Izak. C tier is Gittins, Xavi Simmonds, Maduecki, and Benjamin Sesko. B tier is Cunha, Rinders, Garnaccio, and Jokerez. A tier is Jao Pedro, Kudus, Eze, and Voltemarra. And then S tier, the three best signings of the summer. Zubimendi, Mbumo, and Eketike. Have we overrated Eketike here?

1:22:21Lewis Bowden:I'm just looking at him. It still hurts me, that one. But he hasn't scored in four games. No, he's good in a bad team. Sorry, he hasn't scored in... He hasn't scored in like seven Premier League games. I test, Tom. He's good. I know, but he hasn't been playing that good lately. He started the season on fire, didn't he? He's good though, isn't he? He's good. I think S might be over the top. Yeah, man, he's good. Oh, well, I've just read them all out. I can't change it. He's good at football. Right, moving on. He can play football every now and again. mate his last goal in the Premier League was Everton at home oh we fucked it there no that was fucking that was Berlin Marathon

1:23:00Theo:that was ages ago September the 21st no where about it Liverpool nah he's good though he's good at football people think we hate Liverpool on the show so at least we've given him oh we do yeah no but fair enough as you all know it's the international break and England manager Thomas Tuchel has recalled Jude Benningham Phil Foden to the squad fuming about this are you why no Danny Welbeck in the squad to be fair who's replaced Gordon he's backed out someone come in he's injured isn't he Alex Scott yeah I don't know who's came in yeah Bournemouth midfield Alex Scott's been called oh that's cool

1:23:32Reev:I love that so much by the way yeah that's class because it shows that no matter what club you're at if you put in the performances you'll have a chance you'll have a chance and it's a good it's good

1:23:42Theo:by Tuchel to be like okay well I'm actually paying attention here yeah I think it's that's the one thing that annoyed me about Southgate what fucking hell well done Tuchel wait

1:23:51Lewis Bowden:fucking hell he's only the

1:23:54Reev:highest paying manager in the world oh no guys guys guys we've now got okay we've done this list before two years ago yeah we have

1:24:01Theo:so at the end we'll compare no can we see it first

1:24:04Reev:can we see it first

1:24:04Theo:no no we can't no we have to say it out yeah so what we're about to do guys two years ago I don't care what mine said two years

1:24:17Lewis Bowden:he's fucking ages Tom nah Half these players won't even be around the squad. Yeah. Adam Walton would have been at Blackburn.

1:24:27Theo:Spoiler alert. We did this almost exactly two years ago today and there were some crazy shouts. We'll look back on those and compare at the end of this clip, so stay with us. Centrally, yeah, so no wingers, lads. Yeah, so 6-8-10, pretty much. Well, he wants to go first. I'll go. Is this current? Presumably we've won including Cole Palmer, even though he's out, right?

1:24:47Lewis Bowden:It's a fucking moment. It's last year. It's actually a mixture of both. Are we double checking that? Yeah. I've been trying to go through old England squads. I feel like I've forgotten someone. I have exactly the same with you. Okay. Tenth. I've got Curtis Jones. That's low for you. He hasn't been great though. He can't get in the squad. I ain't got him. I was going to put Alex Scott in because I thought he does deserve it, but I think Jones is better than Scott. Ninth, I've got Gibbs White. Yep. Eight, Anderson. Oh, I've got the other way around. I think, yeah, I think there's better players than Anderson.

1:25:24Theo:Ah, in that... Do you think he's better than Gibbs White, though?

1:25:26Lewis Bowden:Anderson. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I've just got the same... Yeah, yeah, yeah.

1:25:30Reev:I think that's quite low.

1:25:32Theo:Really?

1:25:32Reev:Not when you consider the seven others. He starts every game for England.

1:25:34Lewis Bowden:He won't now. He might. I think Warton will start. Seventh, and it pains me to say it, Rogers. Same fucking order. Sixth, Eze. fifth Wharton I probably shouldn't put him here but I just love him Foden fourth third Jude second Palmer first Declan Rice shall I do

1:26:05Theo:my list shall I do my list shall I do my list it's almost identical there's just a few flips here and there tenth I've got friend of the show Dewsbury Hall oh nice Ninth I've got Anderson And then eighth I've got Morgan Gibbs Right So same as Tom But flipped Seventh Rodgers as well Sixth Only because he's been A little bit Out of the equation At the moment Phil Foden Fifth Adam Six Yeah Fifth Adam Morton Fourth Eze Just because of the game time And obviously what he's doing At the moment Third Benningham Two Palmer And then one Rice

1:26:35Reev:You know what my thing About Eze is He hasn't been at the levels He was last year This year Eze Yeah I think he has He's been great good also

1:26:45Lewis Bowden:Eze is inconsistent he always has been he doesn't I don't know he was like this at Palace he's amazing one week and then he'll get missing the next he does do that but I think at the minute where have you got him fourth I think that's high for Eze I love his style of playing I love watching him play and he has improved Arsenal go on then are you reading my list I can see it

1:27:13Reev:And you said it as well Tenth I got Gibbs White Ninth I got Curtis Jones Eighth I've got Eze Seven I got Morgan Rogers Six I got Elliot Anderson I think he's the fucking bad ex He is good Fifth Adam Wharton Fourth Phil Foden Third Bellingham

1:27:33Lewis Bowden:Wow you're such a fucking lick ass to me Copying me Second Palmer

1:27:41Reev:First Declan Rice You all fucking hammered me

1:27:44Lewis Bowden:when I've said I think Bellingham's overrated, by the way. And yeah, you're all putting... It's not overrated. It's the third best English midfielder. I know, but I think you're being... You're tearing coats all year and I feel... Whoa, whoa, whoa.

1:27:55Reev:Hang about. Don't include me. Declan Rice is the best midfielder in the world. No, he's not. In the world. Best midfielder. Okay, 10th. I still like him and he's having a bit of an injury crisis. But James Madison is in mine at 10th. He is good, man. I know it's been a rough year. He's class, man. He is good, but he's got an ACL. He should have signed for Newcastle. It's not crazy. I do see it. I mean, he's just been out so long that you kind of feel it.

1:28:27Lewis Bowden:Lewis Miley. Lewis Miley. Oh, don't tempt me. 9th, Gibbs White. Eight. Vendor, Joe. You're going to put... Top prefacing every name. I put Adam Watt in eighth. Eight, man. Yeah. It's really low. This guy's going to be starting for us in the World Cup no because this man will 7th Elliot Anderson 6th Eze 5th Morgan Rodgers over Wharton yeah man I think so they're so different though aren't they this list is so hard to do because do you value a tenner or a six or like 4th Forden 3rd Rice 2nd Palmer 1st Bellingham at least he's true to what he said before Bellingham man he's a big Mormonist player for England this is English England team that's what I get told about He fucking really showed up at Anfield the other night.

1:29:13Lewis Bowden:Anyway.

1:29:13Theo:You betrayed the man we've been fighting for. No, I just think Rice at the moment is just the best Englishman. Yeah, put him third. No, no, but I'm saying I think he's the best.

1:29:23Reev:He's been better this season, Palmer or Rice? I think Palmer's a better footballer. Oh, yeah, just... I think Palmer's a better footballer. That's the best you can do, isn't it, really? They're different players, but I think Palmer's a better footballer.

1:29:35Theo:Yeah. Yeah, well done. Thank you.

1:29:39Reev:Right, should we see... Should we see how wrong we all are now? Who do you think our star in midfield three is actually going to be in the World Cup? I think you have to have Elliot Anderson. I don't know. I think it'll either be

1:29:51Lewis Bowden:Anderson and Wharton alongside Rice and Bellingham. 2-2. I think that's what he'll play.

1:29:56Reev:2-10s, 2-8s?

1:29:58Lewis Bowden:No, no, no. What are you saying? A 6 and 8 and a 10.

1:30:01Theo:As in it'll be Wharton or Anderson alongside Rice and Bellingham.

1:30:05Lewis Bowden:He seems to really like Anderson, so I don't know. but I also then just think I think he knows I think you need

1:30:12Theo:he's got everything I like him for that reason he's not that player that has Jordi Maradona proper hexagons

1:30:17Lewis Bowden:yeah but so does Wharton but he's also a far better passer of the ball you need Rice he can't carry the ball as good as Anderson he can't carry it well but then guys we have it we don't need that we've got Rice for that who was your 10 there Tom I think he'll play Bellingham I wouldn't yeah I'd play Palmer if Palmer's fit

1:30:35Reev:I'd start Palmer I'd play Foden as well he's getting into a bit at the runner-form as well. What, can you, is it, can you do, can you do, can you,

1:30:44Lewis Bowden:Bellingham Rice Palmer? I just don't understand why you'd want to do that and take away from Rice. Because Bellingham in the six, could he? Why would the fuck

1:30:53Reev:would you buy Bellingham? No, no, no. Get him on the pitch, mate.

1:30:55Theo:No. But we're doing this again, like we're trying to just pick players in. Rice just has to be in the eight. Who's the first name

1:31:03Reev:on the team sheet for England? Kane. Kane. and then Pickford then Rice and Harry Maguire Saka Right, shall we see what we used to see two years ago I'm going to guess I have Elliot Anderson in there, I hope Tom's up first Oh, is this going to be from top? Oh, 10th Harvey Elliot

1:31:20Theo:Oh, fucking hell Harvey Elliot in 10th Jordan Henderson going to be top three

1:31:23Lewis Bowden:Gallagher 9th then I've got Curtis Jones 8th Yeah, consistent consistent Calvin Phillips in 7th Wait, this one's mine 6th Ward Proust Wait, hang on a second. Rewind a second.

1:31:37Reev:Calvin Phillips having a good season at this point.

1:31:39Lewis Bowden:I don't remember.

1:31:39Reev:Two years ago. I feel like he hasn't had a good season. I think he was injured.

1:31:43Lewis Bowden:Was he fresh to City after a season with Leeds? No, I think he was injured at City. Next. This was definitely during his free kick.

1:31:51Reev:Esay fifth.

1:31:52Lewis Bowden:Esay fifth. Oh, yeah, like that. Then I've got Foden fourth. Yeah. Then I've got Rice third. Oh, is there no Bellingham? Second. No Parma. Yeah, Madison. But Parma wouldn't have even been playing. No, that's what I'm saying. And then first, I had Jude. Hey, Jude. How things change. How things change. Madison, man. Ward Prowse? This is where Madison was flying. I was begging from the control. Ward Prowse is so horrific. Such an unfortunate injury for him. You missed E off the end of his name here. Right, Reed. What did you say? They can't see the screen.

1:32:28Theo:10, Curtis Jones. Yep. 9, Jacob Ramsey. Oh. Interesting. Very different. 8, Gibbs White. That's the same position. Fucking get it there, Morgan. Friend of the show. Seven, Connor Gallagher. Six, Longstar. Over Curtis Jones.

1:32:46Reev:Over Givesmo. Oh, Steve.

1:32:50Theo:Five, Ward Prowse. God, he's got him even higher than me. Four, Eze. Same position. Yeah, nice. Oh, nice. He hasn't changed. Three, Madison. Two, Rice. One, Bellingham.

1:32:59Lewis Bowden:Yeah, I'm pretty sure we all had Bellingham first, if I remember correctly. James Madison. Understandable, to be fair.

1:33:03Theo:Not a lot for Madison, Lou. but you remembered him then. Yeah, I like him, mate. Oh, here we go. Oh, no, we know. I've remembered him, eh? Oh, no. Is it going to be Trent Timidfield or something? Yeah, isn't it?

1:33:13Lewis Bowden:Oh, my God. He was having a good season. He was having a good season. No, he wasn't at this point. Yes, he was. This wasn't his long period. Yeah, wasn't it like four years ago when he got the... Nah, he's having a good season. He's good player. Nah, I think I remember this one being a funny moment. Lewis, I wouldn't laugh at that if I were you. Oh, I might go already when he's terrible. Mine's going to be terrible. I reckon you had long stuff second. I definitely would have, mate. Definitely. I was hard on my long stuff era. Come on, man. Trent's definitely in this. Will.

1:33:42Reev:I'll be right here. That's fine, yeah. Mate, it's fine. Gibbs White, yeah, we're good. Nine, Gibbs White. No, that's it. Eight, Gibbs White. Seven, Eze. Six, Connor Gallagher. Fifth, Trent.

1:33:57What were you on? What were you on? what were you on? That is mental. Why'd you forget about it in this one?

1:34:06Lewis Bowden:Yeah, don't you remember he said at the end of his career he would be England's best ever said to me. I'm sure he said something like come back in a few

1:34:12Theo:years time

1:34:13Lewis Bowden:and we're back.

1:34:14Theo:That would have been a great way. Anything to say? Yeah, we need to check out Clivens and see if he did say come back in a few years. It's so annoying.

1:34:20Reev:He keeps getting played out of position ever since I made this list. They're fucking playing him at right back. He's the best pass to the ball since Beckham. He's better than

1:34:28Lewis Bowden:Roy Keane. Yeah Who else?

1:34:35Reev:Yeah

1:34:40Lewis Bowden:He said John Stanton Fourth Fourth Storn John Stanton Fourth John Stanton Fourth

1:34:47Reev:Hey In my defence He was playing in DM He was just going into midfield Mate he was Do you not I remember When he went into midfield He was unreal Do you not remember that?

1:34:59Lewis Bowden:It's like putting James as a midfielder. I thought, surely it's over after three. He's number three, Jordan Pickford.

1:35:05Reev:You can see my reasoning behind the stones in midfield. I can't. He had a great time in midfield.

1:35:10Theo:The fact you had him four. Is it because we played a back five and then he'd just like roam a bit? He went into midfield. You have two defenders in your top five?

1:35:17Lewis Bowden:Jesus Christ.

1:35:18Theo:He got right back in centre back.

1:35:20Reev:That's true. He had a great period. You remember this period?

1:35:22Lewis Bowden:He had a few games where he filled in at holding mid. We must have filmed this during that period. He played as centre-back and dropped in. We watched him when he played and everyone's seven in

1:35:30Theo:and he was basically at centre-mid there.

1:35:32Lewis Bowden:Yeah, there you go. So you can see at the time. He still does that now though he'll be a centre-back and then end up at the edge of the box passing the ball. It's honestly mental. Fourth best centre-mid in South Wales. Maybe he should do Trent and Storm's midfield. Rice. Ed Rice. Madison. Bellingham. I'm predicting I have Elliot Anderson and Longstaff and Longstaff will be like fourth. So recap. And Willock. If he said Willock I don't think even I said Willock.

1:35:57Reev:I think you might have done. 10 Willock, 9 Harvey Elliott, 8 Gibbs White, 7 Eze, 6 Connor Gallagher, 5th Trent, 4th John Staines. I did not expect the Storms one.

1:36:07Lewis Bowden:No, that was a really good surprise.

1:36:10Reev:Third Rice, 2 Madison, 1st Bay. Oh, Theo. Unreal, mate. All right, this is going to be good. Welcome to my list, guys. In 10th, we have Mason Mount. Newcomer there. Newcomer there. Newcomer. Well, no one else had him there. I don't think you win a prize. In ninth, we had Connor Gallagher. Mate, you might win this list. I don't think so. Brace yourself. Eighth, Calvin Phillips. The longer we go on, the higher Longstaff is. Yeah, Longstaff is there. Eighth, Calvin Phillips. Seventh, Joel Willis. I told you that. I told you that. He must have been having a good season. He must have been. This can't have been his long period, though.

1:36:45It probably was. Was this his long period? I think he'd lose the equipment anyway. Because in his long period, he was like insane. But that was years ago.

1:36:52Lewis Bowden:It weren't long ago he was scoring those goals, was he? Two years ago. You've got one ball and nine. One ball? You've got nine games, that's it. Yeah, but the season... Oh, no. You've got 14. No, yeah. Yeah, he's injured. Yeah, two goals.

1:37:06Reev:It was... Yeah, it was fucking six years. Yeah, I don't know how he defended that. I think it was 2022. It was four years ago, lads.

1:37:11Theo:Nah. Okay. Yeah, that's a stink. Yeah, that's not very good. Six is... Ward Prowse. Weird, he's a fullback as well. Wait, hang on a second.

1:37:21Lewis Bowden:I can't believe I had Ward Prowse in my list. Yeah. Next, we have... we have long staff oh yeah better than Rodri at this point Matty or Sean oh that was Sean maybe Matty's still the club Matty's still the club in fourth we have Eze yeah no ball no ball no ball Bird which is probably safe now Rice second Madison and first Bellingham yeah imagine it's Lewis Miley I'm annoyed I didn't have any Anderson fuck's sake like yeah after calling player of the year as well yeah maybe he hadn't come through at this point of all my takes I knew Elliot Anderson was going to be good I've all my takes four years removed I've had my howlers but Elliot Anderson I knew he was going to be good yeah that's fascinating well let us know in the comments what the funniest part of that was Trent and Stones back to back he's crazy I swear down I swear down he said in a few years time about Trent he's like in a few years time you'll see what's so crazy Trent literally played like twice he sent him in oh my god boys

1:38:20Reev:and was shocking yeah it was November 2023 we uploaded that to the day oh wow top comment is I swear Lewis was hired as he's the only person alive that can make Theo look unbiased in comparison nice to see the comments of the sir that is impressive
