In short

The hosts debate the alleged Manchester City financial rule breaches (“cheats”), what punishment should be (points deductions, transfer bans, fines, possible relegation/League 1-2), whether titles should be voided or awarded to runners-up, and how this affects players, managers (especially Pep Guardiola), and other clubs. They also discuss England vs Spain at international level, including England’s mistakes and squad/selection questions.

Guests

Guest backgrounds

Not specified beyond being football/pundit-style discussants on the show.

Key claims

  • City should be “absolutely fucked” with severe, multi-year repercussions; some argue for relegation and/or voiding titles rather than awarding second place.
  • City fans are accused of denial/Stockholm syndrome; players’ on-pitch achievements are debated as still “earned” but tainted by unfair advantage.
  • Punishments may be limited by legal process and appeals; UEFA sanctions are expected as well.

Notable examples

  • Comparisons to Everton’s points deduction (one charge leading to six points) and Leicester/other precedents.
  • Alleged “114 charges,” non-cooperation, and hacked emails leading to charges.
  • England-Spain: errors by England players (including Trafford/Pickford debate), Saka’s poor form, and standout performances by Bellingham and Gordon; Spain’s line-breaking and Yamal’s impact.

I don't want to shit on the take, but it's decent. It's unbelievable. Everyone shot him down. No, they didn't. No, they didn't. No, I got cooked. Online? I thought you meant the table.

1:19Lewis Bowden:Also, it hasn't happened this season yet. It might be next season, so he might be wrong.

1:22Theo:No, but they've been charged. Fucking hell, I can't just say anything, can you? Fucking hell, man. No, I think it's good. He's all the big tricks. He said it's one of the greatest tricks on Pidge side. It is. They've been charged. I don't think it is. Because I think we knew the charges were coming. We knew it was coming, do you know what I mean? It's a very good, bold take.

1:37Lewis Bowden:It was a very bold take, and I rate it highly. I do rate it. Not like this. How are they not giving you that? I appreciate it.

1:43Theo:I appreciate it. You've all the edge to the pudding. Thank you. Well done, Reid. 114, man. No, maybe I've seen... What was the one that they actually got away with? Have you not seen all the tweets?

1:52Lewis Bowden:I think the one they didn't get charged for is... Erling Harland. No, it was a big one. It's a big one, apparently. I can't remember the term. What was the one they didn't get charged for, William? Let me have a look. Oh, I'll tell you what I think it is. It's not inflating sponsorships. They haven't been done for that. Oh, so they actually were not lying about how much money... Well, no, they... Well, I don't agree.

2:12Theo:I still think they were, but... Allegedly. To be fair, you were in the meetings, so you would know.

2:19Lewis Bowden:Yes.

2:22Theo:I think... Pretty interesting time for football, though. Mate, it's actually mad. It's actually the maddest thing ever. Obviously, we had a long, old discussion about this over the weekend. It was basically all we talked about. You were saying the differences. A lot of them were saying, oh, they should just be relegated. They can't just relegate them. They can't be relegated. They're two separate... The EFL can come together if they want to.

2:44Lewis Bowden:They can, but what's the point of doing that when they can just give them 100 points? Was it not that Ben Jacobs who said that they are open to... No, no, no. What's been reported is technically the EFL are willing to not even accept them. Yeah. Yeah, and then they just go... So they go straight to the National League. But then the National League might not accept them. This is where it gets... They go straight to Sunday. This is where it could get really... I think the National League would take them because that's not... I'm sorry, that's like Beyonce, right? It's like Jay-Z's like kick Beyonce out.

3:10And Beyonce's like, right, I'm going to go Ashton Kutcher. And Ashton's like, no, I've got Mila Kunis. and then Beyonce's like, right, I'm going to have to go to Lewis Borden. I'm like, fucking yeah, I'll shag you. What? Anyway. Yeah. Sorry, did you use... The good analogy, the National League aren't going to turn down Champions League winners. But it's not... Oh, yeah. You could say that

3:26Lewis Bowden:about the EFL. Yeah. No, but they've got me the Kunis, mate. No, but it's about... Did you just use that as an opportunity to say you would have said Beyonce? Yeah. Beyonce, like, I was just saying it, I'll be third reserve. It's about the integrity of the sport, though, and if the EFL, the Premier League the National League if they're all going to come together and just like fuck them off then they might do I think the most realistic thing is what I personally do is the EFL and the Premier League have an agreement where they have points deductions for like the next three years or something you can't just relegate them I think I think it should be I disagree because like I know part of it but the Serie it's all the same I think it's really it's really bad because like it's it's a lot of players who like could have done so I know they might not have done stuff but like you've actually fucked a lot of people's careers like and the whole league in general by your greed by your greediness and knowingly you've came into the league you have cheated and successfully cheated off it and because of that there's a lot of people who have been and gone now who would never have reached like who have not achieved things because of that and it's like there's a huge and by the way if these don't get punished enough then fuck it we'll do like that's a precedent now I think they have to be down in League 1.

4:43Lewis Bowden:League 2. Fuck them. But it's working around that because then also it becomes legal with City will then say, we haven't broken EFL rules, so you can't punish us in the EFL. That's the issue. That's what Leicester had, isn't it? The Premier League have to just go absolutely ham on them with points. And unfortunately, it's probably going to be a massive fine, transfer ban, and they'll get points deduction for the Premier League and then they'll just come straight back off.

5:05Theo:Could they get points deduction, say, for the next five years? If they get promoted back up, they're still back on more points deduction that's what I think they become the next yo-yo club

5:13Lewis Bowden:but then that ruins the pyramid of the EFL

5:16Theo:because then the club's missing out

5:17Lewis Bowden:yeah because then Man City are constantly taking a place just going on wouldn't it depend as well how many points it was because you know they've got enough good enough players 20 points so you're right what you're saying in the Hamburg EFL rules but they'll have these discussions and they could say look we could in our own rights do this but it's only going to damage you more and the whole league so we could just if you just agree to go along with this like there will be a deal made where it's not Yeah, because everyone could say, you can't technically do that. Who went down when Aguero scored that goal?

5:47Lewis Bowden:Because that kept QPR up. So that would be the argument. This is where it's going to, all the clubs are going to sue Man City. Bolton went down. Yeah, so Bolton... And they're in League One, huh? No, they're not. They're in the championship. They were in League One, yeah. But that's what I'm saying. So Bolton will be saying, we've had like... Football effect. Yeah, so... I want to say, I hear like shit like that.

6:05Theo:I'll still get three trophies. No, but I mean Man City... Oh, see, I don't agree with all that. I don't care about the ball. all that shit I don't care about the trophy stuff I think void I just void them yeah let's ask about what's going to happen to their Premier League you've got to

6:18Lewis Bowden:void them because the issue is right there's been leagues where I don't know the team in second the team who was second challenging City might be I don't know five or ten points off so then they rest players for the FA Cup semi-final or the Champions so just because you came second doesn't mean you would have won do you know what I mean and also there's a butterfly effect of like if Man City didn't cheat there's how many different variables wouldn't have went the same way like it's all a load of shit you can't win a league off that it's a void season yeah I agree it's what they do in athletics if you're caught cheating

6:50Theo:it's just a void race there's too many variables anything else could have went different double check what happened I think the only one similar that is as big as this is probably the Lance Armstrong one they were all void but they didn't get reinstated to another winner I don't think that's what I'm saying double check that though because they might have done but wasn't that

7:07Lewis Bowden:because they were all the ones below him were as well. Everyone was cheating. Yeah, but they couldn't

7:10Theo:prove that everyone was cheating.

7:12Lewis Bowden:They were, because they were the whistleblowers, weren't they? They were like, he's cheating better than He would have gone away. From 1999 to 2000, he's got better fucking drugs than him. It is. I have a question on that though. Does that, step away for a second, the Man City fans, who've had nothing to do with it, they saw what happened on the pitch. The players had no control over it. It takes nothing away from their memories and that now. They should be angry at the club. Yeah, they should be angry at the club. Instead of defending them, I'm seeing Man City fans defending them like did you honestly think this is this is like that also a Man City fan say I still think we're innocent are you like 114 charges right have been said you're guilty you had the UEFA stuff it's like it's like witnessing a murder and going I don't know now what's it called what's it called when you fall in love with like a murderer yeah are these treats you've been no then love bombing them then love bombing them You've all got Stockholm Syndrome, lads.

8:08Yeah, Stockholm Syndrome. By the way, it's not saying that City fans, you have, no matter what, you've enjoyed all of that. You've had an unbelievable journey. But like, your team has fucking cheated. Yeah. And you've got to just accept like, right, do you know what? I still, it's not wrong for you to still hold your hands up and say, I loved every second of it. Yeah. But like, you've got to accept, yeah, we probably deserve to go down a lot of divisions.

8:28Theo:It's quite interesting how like, the owner was like, paying 30 million to all these amazing lawyers and stuff. And they've won one. We because, out of 100. The evidence is obviously ridiculously strong, isn't it? They managed to stave it off for like four years. I mean, as a lawyer, they've done a pretty good job. Yeah, they would have known me. They would have known, we have zero ground here. And they have just buried them with cameras and all this shit.

8:50Lewis Bowden:Well, that's why they've got so many charges not cooperating. They've just refused to cooperate because they know they're... Allegedly. What happens to the players then? 35 charges failing to cooperate. Like that. And then people going on about the Chelsea stuff. It's not similar to Chelsea. Chelsea dobb themselves in. The previous owners have done this. We'll take the punishment. That's why Chelsea's was so minimal, I suppose. But Everton had one charge and got six points. So it should be 600 points. It's away from the Premier League as well. But Baggies have got in trouble as well, didn't they?

9:24Yeah, that's what I'm saying.

9:27Theo:Am I right? So hypothetically, you know we sort of had a joke about they get point deduction for the next five years. But if they get 600 point deduction spread, like per season as in like it could be 100 seasons they're in the Premier League but then

9:41Lewis Bowden:then they may come to an agreement and go just put us in League 2 I don't know I just absolutely hate shit I really hate like but the Brewers are over 9 years that's the point

9:51Theo:the repercussions should be punished over multiple years do you not think there's also a it's not like they've just cheated for 1 year they should be fucked like genuinely they should be fucked for 5 to 10 years do you know what how many years did they have successful and all this double it So it's nine years, isn't it? It's nine years. You just said nine years. 18 years then. 18 years, you're not allowed in. It's pissing me off. So if they win the Champions League this year, they could be, hypothetically speaking, the first championship Champions League team. Yeah. Is that true? Well, it also depends.

10:20I mean, how quick is this appeal going to happen? The rumours are that... Nothing will happen this season, I don't think,

10:24Lewis Bowden:because they'll appeal it. But I was listening to something earlier and they said, apparently, the Premier League or someone has said, if Man City win the league this year, they'll be allowed to lift it they'll be allowed to lift it and stuff because it'll probably be next season they get done thankfully Arsenal are going to win it this season

10:39Theo:but Forrest and Everton had their points deduction like fast tracked like even though their appeal was put in pretty much immediately after

10:47Lewis Bowden:because it was only one charge or so like this is why it's been longed out for this manpower to do all the paperwork it's so no I know it's basically an entire law firm because they have to get it right as well because then City will just sue them or appeal

11:00Theo:the issue with the club suing City though That's a real big issue. That'll come after. That'll go on for years. Yeah. But in terms of the actual players from Manchester City, we saw over the weekend quite a number of Manchester City's make mistakes in the England-Spain game. Probably no coincidence there. Maybe it is a coincidence. But I'm hearing like all these players... Could be a good question. Well, is it a coincidence? I don't know. But it's a food for thought. Harland did that, right? That one, this was on their mind. Harland wasn't Indian. Well, yeah, Gahey made a mistake. O 'Reilly made a mistake.

11:28Theo:I don't think it's tied to the charges. Rodri made a mistake. What, you think? You think morally they're just going...

11:39Theo:I don't mean there's much in that. I can't play it.

11:42Lewis Bowden:Most footballers play in flow state. I don't think the players... They wouldn't have been that aware of what was going on. What do you think the players are thinking? Rodri came out on Friday and said, I know who won that. We won that. Yeah, because to them, they did... Because you're a filthy, dirty cheat. You can't take away the players' achievements on the pitch. but it's the fact that they even had those players was the cheating. They shouldn't have been able to have these players. This is going to irk me a little bit. I know it's not the players' fault but also it's like just put your hands up and say, no, I know who won it and it was us.

12:12No, now it's came out since you were there cheating-wise. Yeah, but the players didn't cheat. No, no, no. But like you, if I was that player there, I'm like, right, I understand we've done this by cheating though. I shouldn't have been at this club. We shouldn't have had this super team. So that's going to be a certain, if you're just going absolutely blind and saying, no, we earned those. It's like, it's actually denial. But to them, they did earn it.

12:32Lewis Bowden:They did. You didn't earn it. But they did. The players did earn it. But no, but it doesn't, how the players got put together in that team, he's down to them. Yeah, but you can still earn it by playing well, but like, they had an unfair advantage. He knows, they have to know, they had an unfair advantage over every team in the league. You didn't earn it. They're not going to come back and say that. Not your fault, not your fault, but you didn't earn it.

12:54Theo:That would only apply if they were like, taking peds and stuff. not from the fact of like financially cheating something can be not your something can be not your fault and you can not earn it still like it's not your fault but you were in an unfair team it shouldn't have been put together you were far stronger than everyone else because of things out of your control but you didn't earn it because of that and you should be angry at the owners as well yeah but they did

13:19Lewis Bowden:they did earn it it's the owners and the club that made it unfair no it's not their fault but you have to have like they should be equally as angry at the owners if not more angry because they wasted seasons and prime years of their career over something that's going to be voided. I don't think they've wasted. No, they made their fucking money as we found out. Should take the money off them actually.

13:40Theo:But the players? Take their wages away. Those seasons, they're not Prem champions unfortunately and they should be the most hurt out of as the fans because they technically aren't.

13:49Lewis Bowden:They will technically have it stripped of that but to them, they have still won the... They still have the trophy. Yeah, that's denial. No, they should return them. On that topic, one person needs to come up with a conversation. Pep, has he left because he needs to come in? That's kind of why I thought him would be.

14:04Theo:I don't think it taints anything for Pep. I think he'll still be remembered. I think it does appear. It does, though. It definitely does.

14:10Lewis Bowden:It definitely does.

14:12Theo:No one can argue what he did at Bayern and Barcelona. I understand. But in the practice of it, it taints the City legacy. Of course it does. And the fact that, oh, you just so happen to leave and now the charges drop. Like, you knew. Does it taint Pep or does it taint City? Taints both. Both. It's everyone involved. I think there would have been an agreement between club and Pep. Yeah. Like, if it's coming through, boys, I'm going to jump ship. It's ominous, isn't it?

14:34Lewis Bowden:Look, I'm not going to lie as hell. Allegedly, of course, all of this. He would... When we're saying the players wouldn't be aware of what's going on, he will know. Oh, we just have more money to do it. He's not stupid, but... And again, he may not have been involved in it, but he's not stupid. Yeah, yeah. I actually think he would have been involved now. No. Allegedly.

14:55Theo:but allegedly he think about how powerful he was at that club he was the one making every decision he wouldn't be stupid enough to involve himself that much but he can play the blind eye yeah there'll be emails right not from him he's still an employee isn't he yeah he can just go where he's not it definitely tainted for Pep and Sunday because like yeah of course like massively like in that whole era it's like right you weren't the guy then now really because your team was cheating like it's like that Liverpool team and Klopp should be I'm spitting myself should be like fuming. Because they did it properly.

15:28They made the super team properly. They didn't cheat. And they achieved this 100-point season properly. This sort of generally pisses me off in all sports. I always think sport has to be like the sport and integrity have to always come before the entertainment factor or anything else. And they fucked it.

15:44Theo:What happens with the players? Obviously, I'm guessing a lot of these players don't have relegation clauses in their contract. No. That would have been weird. Harlan doesn't. Harlan does a nine-year deal or something, isn't it? Harlan doesn't. I don't know. I wouldn't even... Because imagine you put a relegation clause in, and that comes out. Yeah, you look guilty as fuck. But you said Spurs had them all in. Depends how smart your owner is, isn't it? Lewis, I wanted to ask you, just for that matter, just the way you're seeing Pep's legacy has been tainted. Something like De Bruyne has been arguably the greatest midfielder with everything in the Premier League.

16:14Can we say everything he's done is written off now as well? He's still a great player. He's still a great player. The players, yeah, It doesn't mean that they're not good at football anymore. But if you write the titles off, is every goal they've scored written off? No, because the moments don't happen. They still show their ability. We've managed to see what happens when you do just take all the best players and put them in a team and it turns out they're quite good. But this is why there's the rules in players.

16:37Theo:The best players don't even get remembered for their trophies necessarily per se in terms of how you view them on the pitch. Gerrard's probably one of the best midfielders ever and never won a Prem. Well, he wants to trip the title and give him a second place. Exactly. You look at Juventus and think, Do we all look at Juventus and go, oh, cheat. Yeah. Cheats? A match fix? Yeah, no, but still. That's worse. You still look at them like that? Yeah. Oh, fair enough. Man City will always be cheating now. And that's why it's shit for the fans. But you look at the Juventus players, and do you think that?

17:10Theo:The whole club's now... Current ones?

17:11Lewis Bowden:No, who were in that side? I don't know how involved they were. What were the eras for you? I think it was the clubs were paying refs off. I think that's what it was. I don't think the players Rufon obviously

17:22Theo:stayed with Juve when they went down you look at him and think no so that's what I'm saying about the players so like the De Bruyne no I don't look at the players at all at all well we'll ask the question about De Bruyne that's what I'm saying yeah no I don't at all if I'm asking the question if he's a cheat I'm seeing their effort-informed ability doesn't get affected does it tint Pep's legacy people are saying yes if it's a manager's as well does it tint the players' legacy does it tint De Bruyne's but the manager has far more influence over the side and has far more a bigger relationship with the owners than the players Yeah, that's what I agree.

17:52Theo:And he built the team.

17:53Lewis Bowden:None of this is the players' responsibility. It would be like, the way I look at it with the players is, it would be like if he had a 100-metre sprint race or he broke the world record in that race, but everyone else was paid off to lose. I've still done it. I've still won the race. I've still broke the world record, but no one else tried. So we don't even know if they would have beat me. Yeah, you could have done a legitimate proper tie. That's the way I'd view it in this sense. I think it's it's not on the players obviously and they still did achieve it and the fans still have the greatest fans ever and the Man City fans probably won't care anymore they've been down in League 2 it's not that big of a deal to them the newest Man City the younger fans yeah they weren't all the glories have just come on I'm going to have to find a new team I just think it's a sad time it's probably the worst thing that's ever happened in the game but I'm not that like annoyed because I was I knew that it was so Oh, yeah, yeah.

18:50Lewis Bowden:I'm annoyed by it.

18:51Theo:Yeah, going to this one, one thing we haven't actually discussed is that this is just the Premier League. I don't know if it was different because they weren't in there, but they were in UEFA competition. Well, they got away with that one, though, didn't they? Well, there's five... Honestly, this shit really... It pisses me off, Lord. So now what happens with UEFA? Will they just get a UEFA ban?

19:08Lewis Bowden:I don't know, because they already had that trial and won it, didn't they? But they got five fail to complies.

19:15Theo:It's fucking bullshit, this. I wouldn't get in the legality of it too much. But on paper, if you get proven guilty in the Premier League, how can you not get proven guilty in UEFA? They will. I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. This is going to be far bigger than the Premier League. This could be... No, yeah, well, even we've been in the Champions League for two seasons. Even we had to do a deal with UEFA because we were really close and now we have to give them extra report and stuff. That's of two seasons and we didn't even spend anywhere near like these. They're fucked. One thing in their advantage to that is UEFA are far more corrupt than the Premier League.

19:48Theo:Allegedly. Allegedly. Sorry, yeah. And the fact that during that period they weren't actually successful in Europe. No, the funniest one was... The problem is they were so successful in the Premier League

19:57Lewis Bowden:is why it's even worse. You know, you've seen that the best one is, do you know Mancini had a contract with a team in the UAE where he was an advisor and he only had to work four days a year for like£2 million. What? How'd you get that wrong? When he was getting paid double. While he was working for Man City, he was also an advisor for a team in the UAE £2 million a year something like that he only had to log four days work I bet he'd log zero as well honestly this is fucking ridiculous isn't it well look we spoke about what's happened and what possible punishments is a couple of things I want to ask firstly what does this mean for the Premier League moving forward like what we're going to like do we know how much does this impact what the Premier League looks like I think it only builds it only builds

20:43Theo:credibility for the Premier League because only if he punish them probably only if he punish them probably yeah exactly There'll be too much of a backless. It also doesn't, though,

20:49Lewis Bowden:because the only reason this has all come about is because someone hacked an email. So the Premier League didn't know anything. No, but Theo, you can't say it brings credibility when they've been cheating since 2009. Like the amount of teams that have had to... Now they've finally got them. No, but that's not credibility. Only because someone hacked their emails and found an email of them talking about this fake sponsorship or whatever it was. It's not credibility there.

21:09Theo:So were you saying Premier League knew and didn't do anything or they didn't... No, I think... I think everyone with a brain has known

21:16Lewis Bowden:and Man City have been doing things that aren't legal. Because, I'm sorry, how many years did they apparently have more revenue than Man United? That obviously isn't true, is it? So my argument to that would be maybe the Premier League just didn't have either the bollocks or the know-how how to bring them down until they've had this.

21:34Theo:Now they can make the wrong. They can't shit themselves. I think they will, mate. They won't. Lewis, they literally can't. What have we seen that they've done to any other... What is shitting themselves? This is a great way to put wrong a lot of misfeelings, to put right a lot of misfeelings towards the Prem because there's a lot of teams that have been unfairly punished and there's a lot of talk about PSR. So honestly, for them to be deemed to not shit themselves, it has to be really, really, really drastic. I don't think they have the balls. It will be huge. It will be huge,

22:06Lewis Bowden:but I think people might be disappointed with the outcome. This is what I'm saying. It has to be huge. Because there's only so much they can do, Lewis, because they are different entities to the EFL. unless they come to an agreement with the EFL which I just think is going to cause loads of legal issues with Man City and the EFL then

22:22Theo:there'll just be a huge points in the Premier League and a massive fine

22:24Lewis Bowden:and a transfer it's got to be a transfer ban for like a good few years 20 years and the other question I want to ask a bit away from it does this accelerate the Super League no they'll never do that they'll never do that also the thing is right even if they give them a transfer ban for 10 odd years Man City now have the best academy probably in the world because of this funding yeah so they probably will just be fine which is frustrating so I actually don't think any punishment will fit the crime in this instance because I think this goes back so long and what they've built from 2009 to now being arguably the best club in the world or one of the best clubs in the world with the best academies best facilities like

23:05Theo:the only way

23:06Lewis Bowden:to really hurt them is to fucking put them in the Isthmian League or something like that I'm in for that

23:12Theo:does this now mean in January you're going to see Man City A, by loads of players or by loads of young players. Well, that's what they've done. No, but like a young player who's going to want to go there? Who's going to come if you're going to go down League One? I mean, you'll get paid fucking loads. I thought what you were going to ask

23:28Lewis Bowden:was an exodus of people leaving. I think that's more likely. Because also, they can't sustain that in the lower league as well. Another thing is, and I don't know how if they can even enforce this is, all the fines should come from the club. the owners can't just pay this off with their fucking trillions that they get from oil it has to they've got if they get a billion pound fine right the club has to it has to come from the club funds whether that's selling the training ground selling all your assets selling all your players Shaq Mansour can't just go oh there you go then and this is where it gets really shit for the fans because it's not when I'm saying I want that to happen it's not that because I feel really bad for the fans who the club's just literally going to get torn apart under that but like that is the correct way it has to be done because your owners have fucked it?

24:14And we've never seen cheating on this level. It's mass cheating. It's like crazy. It's absolutely absurd. I don't get the whole laughing on Twitter where it's coming out of the fans. I think that's a bit... It's just football though, isn't it?

24:29Lewis Bowden:They've been giving it loads for years. By the way, I was saying to Cal though, I was like, imagine this was Arsenal. Fucking hell. Oh my God, if this was Arsenal, this would be my This would be my everything right now. Honestly, every show. Oh, it actually gets me so excited. The single thought of this being Arsenal. You might have an agenda. Admit you have an agenda. Oh, no, I like that. Before we move on to the next bit, I want to hear what you think will happen and what you want to happen from it. I think they will get like a 100-point deduction, a massive fine, probably like a five, six-year transfer ban, and that's it.

25:06Lewis Bowden:I honestly don't.

25:07Theo:I agree 100 % with you. What do you think will happen with the titles?

25:11Lewis Bowden:I think they'll just be void and stripped, yeah. Do you think? That's it. Which I actually agree with. I don't like this. Oh, well, they come second, so they get it. I don't like it, yeah. I don't think they will. I think it'll... They'll void. I don't think they will. Do you think you'll keep them? Yeah. No, because they can't. The team that plays Man City in the semi-finals, like, well, I could have been in the final. It would say so, X-Year, no winner. And also, Tony Pulis, you fucking dinosaur, on about, oh, we'd have won the FA Cup. No, you wouldn't have, because whoever else was in that final, you'd have lost.

25:37What are your thoughts on players and fancy and that's our title? Former players being like, oh, I've got...

25:43Theo:As a player, especially a player who's never won the Premier League, would be annoying. No, the players, they should be absolutely fucking fuming. A lot of them, their life ambition has been ruined. That's the exact worst reason why the Man City players still think that because the effort and time they're putting in trying to win it. To them, they did still win it. That's why you just have to avoid it. You're not seeing the damned United. And they're two losers. Yes, I have. Brian Clough comes into Leeds, he's like, you've won everything, but you've not done any of it fairly. BBC Sports are reporting that.

26:11Lewis Bowden:They're done about all bloody cheating. They're done about all bloody cheating. BBC Sports have been told that there's little appetite from within the Premier League for past titles to be stripped. So they're going to kill them? They haven't ruled it out fully though, but they said there's little appetite. Maybe you're right then. I'm very confident and certain they won't give it to whoever comes second for sure. but in terms of yeah maybe they should be stripped I think you're right with what will happen I'd like them to do it like I'd like them to do a deal with the EFL and then Man City would have to agree to this deal obviously because the league but like there's a way that you could agree with them because the Premier could be like well we'll just deduct you for every next 10 years you know what I mean

26:53Theo:do the EFL not have it in their own interest to make a deal of Man City to say put them down to League 2 because that will only benefit all the other clubs in those divisions it doesn't know because then it takes

27:03Lewis Bowden:away a place.

27:03Theo:But financially it would benefit a lot of them.

27:06Lewis Bowden:Maybe, but it then takes away a spot, doesn't it? Yeah, but a lot of these clubs aren't going to get promoted. but it sets a precedent of who's, no team in that league is losing a spot. Yeah. If Man City get down to League 2, teams like Barnett will be like, we're going to get promoted. It's like, it's set to like, anyone, but none of those teams want to drop out of the football league. That's like, for them to drop out of the football league, you can destroy a club with that, you know what I mean?

27:32Theo:It's not as easy as everyone's saying, oh, there is, a lot of clubs will probably debate it.

27:38Lewis Bowden:I guarantee you, no team in League 2 would want that because, who are you going to relegate then? Yeah. Well, no, I suppose it would be the other way, wouldn't it? It's more than, it's more than.

27:49Theo:Or someone goes straight from League 2 to the prep.

27:51Lewis Bowden:You just miss out on promotion. No, it'd be an extra one in Championship going up, extra one in League 1. But again, it's, oh yeah, I don't know, it's so fucking messy. Quickly, Reeve, what do you think will happen?

27:59Theo:What I thought from the start, 60 points. I do like the idea of it being over multiple seasons. They can stay up with 60 points deduction. No, I mean, I've already said they'll probably get like 80 points with the 60s. Yeah, they won't say. Well, they could. Transfer ban and to... I hope that retrospectively they have to pay out every club that they've wronged in like the last period of 10 years. How do you work that out? It's every team. It's realistically every team down to like League One and Two, isn't it? Realistically, something this... It's not going to happen. Realistically, something this drastic, it should like absolutely crush the club.

28:31Yeah, for sure. Which is brutal if you're a fan. But yeah, the fans do suffer in the end. I know, you can't do it. And the people who work there and all sorts. It's a huge thing now.

28:40Theo:The problem is the only actual good bit of justice that would occur is paying every single other club that they've run. And that actually counts all the way down, basically. Because there's a knock-on effect from all of it.

28:54Lewis Bowden:Also, allegedly, they've committed corporate fraud. It's not like some little...

29:01Theo:Are we not thinking just football here? Is there anyone going to go to jail?

29:05Lewis Bowden:I don't know. Man City may try and take it to the high court. I don't know. Do you know what I mean? There's got to be some actual government law. Man City's in him. Hey, you seem chill, dude. We'll let you off. Man City's in him this whole time as well has been to Dillian. The longer it goes on for, the longer it is for them. I think their thing, it's like in law, isn't it? They hope either the Premier League run out of money or people get bored of it but they just have to keep fucking...

29:34Theo:They tried to swamp all of the legal structure so that they'd get away with it for as long as possible. But now they're actually guilty. Let's see what happens. A billion quid fine. Just dish that out to all us. And you. Well, not us about the teams, innit? Where's that going to go? The Premiers are just going to pocket it all. Fuck them. Dish it out, son. Can I ask this question? Say at the end of the season, Arsenal came second with 80 points, Man City won the League of 90 and then they got deducted 20 points. Would you still be happy with that? It wouldn't be 20 anyway. Whatever. Would you still see that?

30:02See, they've got to do the points a season. You'd still feel like you won the league.

30:06Theo:If they got points deduction on the final day of the season for Arsenal to win the Premier League, it would be the greatest moment. I've got the best fix ever. I've got the best fix literally of all time, right? So you get all that money, right? That gets dished out, obviously. But then the Premier League have like an NBA draft night where from the bottom down, and then there's all your players are good and you have a draft night. And it's like, oh, people can trade draft picks in the league. It's like, oh, that'd be sick. Do you reckon pitch side have any grounds to sue Man City? Yeah, we've had to fucking...

30:39Theo:Think about it, Arsenal had won the league three times. No, I'd actually say it's the other way.

30:44Lewis Bowden:It's helped Arsenal not win in the league. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, definitely not. Did you think your last one? Cut that.

30:51Theo:I think it'll be about 100 points for next season. They'll get relegated. Wait, so hang on. Nobody thinks anything's coming in this year. No, I don't. I wouldn't be... No, I think they will. No, I think the optics... No, the optics of them... It went from being swept onto the rug to like 140 charges in the start of two months. No, they'll get it done this year. The optics of them doing well in the league this season is terrible for them. They have to give them a... Even if it's like we're going to initially charge you with these ones just to get you down and we'll do the rest later. It's not going to be so weird the first game back after the international break from Man City.

31:25Theo:That's going to be

31:26Lewis Bowden:like a bit of a... No, the fans will all come together. It'll probably be like a rally cry on that actually when they that is a good point actually what they I agree with that what they should do is the charges they can get through and prove quickly just do it just start you can't win the league this year can't you you know what I mean you can't risk that yeah they have to go down this year there needs to be some

31:46Theo:sort of immediate reprimanding

31:48Lewis Bowden:we've waited how long has this been going on this case two and a half years we've waited two and a half years if that's all the

31:56Theo:integrity if they wait until next season to do actually

31:58Lewis Bowden:they must have enough evidence in two and a half years for them to be confident that they can deduct the points now.

32:05Theo:Even if you find five charges that could be done now, that's what? How many points based on the evidence? 30 points? If they've proven they're guilty, right, then you just need to fix the punishment with the crime. Yeah, but because it's so massive, you need to work out how big the criminal case is.

32:20Lewis Bowden:I think, again, I'm no legal expert, I think the similarity is the difference to be like a civil and a criminal case. Yeah, no, but they've still got to put a punishment to the crime within the... Oh, no, but then Man City will just appeal it and they're entitled to an appeal, aren't they? I agree, it's bullshit, but... I've been watching a lot of suits, really. No, I've been watching a lot of suits. You have to subpoena them and then... That's it. It's not a criminal case, though, is it? Tom, Tom, Tom. Subpoena them. They need to make love in the library. Right, we've got to go get a bagel from the truck outside because that means we're on to a winner.

32:54then we'll have an emotional chat as the lift closes on us.

32:56Lewis Bowden:Nice. Okay, I like it. Yeah, I think they should, yeah, basically to sum up, they should be absolutely fucked. You've got to watch Suits. Yeah, we all agree Man City should be absolutely fucked. Let us know what you think Man City should be getting.

33:08Theo:Right, guys, over the weekend we watched the Benidorm civil football... Oh, yeah. ...war breakout. Yeah, it was Spain, England. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I wonder where you're going with that. No, no, because England's Spain. It was a nice Arabiata whilst watching it as well. Yeah, you had a full bowl of pasta was watching the England not just me so did Arthur and Harry yeah sports barn ordered pasta they did they did they did I did but yeah I mean pretty good game very entertaining I was facing the other most of it so I had to watch it back a lot of mistakes well yeah Spain Spain hampered us first after do you know what though Tom Wright a lot of people were saying when's Suku going to leave and all this and that but if Harry Kane didn't slip with 3-1 up and probably win the game he did yeah I know he did

33:52Lewis Bowden:But no one gave Southgate that credence when Kane missed it against France. And also, there's no reason because you miss a penalty, you go on and just bottle the rest of the game.

34:02Theo:No, that's so fair. But also, it's not too many... Oh, because you guys didn't do it against Hullman. Did play devil's advocate. No, I understand it's not. And also, but what we...

34:11Lewis Bowden:I don't want Tuchel out because of this game. I want him out because he's a fucking fraud.

34:17Theo:Are we surprised England lost to the world champions? No. No. I mean, I kind of expected Spain to win anyway. Maybe in the manner that we did. Because we tend to do really well when it doesn't matter.

34:29Lewis Bowden:Yeah.

34:30Theo:But everyone see Gordon's interview afterwards being like, the gap. You've seen that before as well. Yeah, yeah. There's no gap, but unfortunately we just lost on mistakes, which is kind of true. It is kind of true. Well, they were saying before, like, we'll never be able to control a game like Spain. I say there's the gap thing, but I don't know if you, like, I found every single time Spain got the ball, they could just cut us through the middle. Well, yeah, it's because they've got... No, but the one pass through the middle, there seems to be such a big sort of disparity between our midfielders and defenders.

34:59Theo:But they're also so good

35:00Lewis Bowden:at that. They are the best in the world at breaking lines. Also, Lewis Skelly probably isn't the same level as Declan Rice. No, he's not. When you've got Rice in there, Rice is like the firefighter in there, isn't he? Yeah, he is. Fireman Sam. We're firefighters! What did you think of Trafford starting over Pickford?

35:15Theo:He has to try it at some point. Yeah, I don't mind. At some point, there has to be a change of guard.

35:19Lewis Bowden:He didn't do great for the first goal, did he? Do you think? He made a really good save, though. He did make one good save, yeah.

35:26Theo:Split his legs open.

35:27Lewis Bowden:Yeah.

35:28Theo:Let's just save it.

35:29Lewis Bowden:I don't think he's ready yet. No. But you want to start building his experience a bit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't mind him playing at all.

35:36Theo:These are the types of games he should... Yeah, 100%. 100%, I agree. Your mouth took that goal well, though, do you not think? I thought it was a bit arse to play. Trafford should have saved it. Do you think? He puts his arm under the ball, And he just like

35:47Lewis Bowden:falls down just like

35:49Theo:be a bit bigger

35:50Lewis Bowden:Oh yeah

35:50Theo:you have a bad goal that was fucking naughty

35:52Lewis Bowden:Yeah and Torres should have scored like Torres should have scored twice Yamal was just taking the piss though on him like running through everyone like he's just so good I think it's one of them isn't it we've got to play him again as well haven't we like next week What? Is that how it works? We've got Spain twice I'm pretty sure It's in November

36:09Theo:Baena played well when he came on as well Yeah he's tied in The way he moved the ball to the right he shifted it and put it around that was very, very nice. Well, you have the ball. Is it like 20 goals in 26 games for Spain or something ridiculous like that, isn't it? Probably. Is he... I saw a lot of... I don't know if you saw the tweet about him, like, oh, this guy should have deserved a big move. This is what's wrong with football. But what he's doing is what's great about football. Staying at a club he absolutely loves, doing it on the world stage.

36:34Lewis Bowden:Also, I think that is his level. And Spain... He does it on the world stage. Yeah, for Spain. I know, but that's when he moves to a club in the pream, they're not going to be Spain. Yeah. You know what I mean? he's been playing a team that's going to be a little shitter and it's not going to be like Gordon was saying loads before the game how different Spanish football is to like say English football or something who just fought up front

36:52Theo:for Barcelona Gabriel Jesus or Yazabay I mean I don't know I can't believe Jesus he was even there I don't know I've seen a video of him walking on the pitch you couldn't believe it I mean

37:03Lewis Bowden:Yazabay Torres started didn't he I think Torres will be their starter going forward I think anyone can play in that team and score goals they're that good that's so fair no they are just pretty good

37:14Theo:aren't they Spain? Yeah,

37:15Lewis Bowden:they're European and world champions so they're not bad, yeah. Some stuff good. Saka, another stinker and hooked. What are you doing? I'm just saying. Was that needed? Was it? Was that needed? Was it true? Was it needed? Was it true? Gordon played well, Bellingham played well. Bellingham played really well. But Saka,

37:35Lewis Bowden:we need to get Palmer on that right hand side ASAP. I do agree. We've had this discussion. What do you mean? Saka's not the same man, he's just not.

37:42Theo:Palmer's not a winger. He's good off the right, though. No, but even for Chelsea, he's like inside right. England don't play like that. We have Gordon and Saka. When he had his best season at Chelsea, he played right wing. But he's not a winger. He's still a slightly different player to Saka. Yeah, he comes inside, but Saka's not doing anything at the minute. We had this argument with Foden, Palmer and all that lot during the Euros and Southgate.

38:03Lewis Bowden:But Palmer is better than Saka off the right nowadays. He just is. Or at least deserves a chance to show that. He deserves a chance, yeah. But he was given the chance, we've only pulled out. but I also think Tuchel was a bit fuming wasn't he he said he's he said he misses too many opportunities to play for England I don't actually mind that he's got a point it's just a fact but apparently it was the club not him

38:27Theo:but I don't I don't know I think he's still not even though he's looking a lot fit and a lot sharper there's still something going on I think

38:34Lewis Bowden:I don't think so I just think he wanted I just think he wanted he kind of manages games that's what I mean yeah yeah he don't want

38:42Theo:what happened last year What about Kwanzaa at right back? Shite. Does Trent deserve a shout at right back? He doesn't like Trent, does he? He's listed as a midfielder on the squad list.

38:53Lewis Bowden:He just doesn't like him.

38:55Theo:Surely you want to give Trent a go? I mean, any England fan probably would say so. Well, we've already established that Tuchel's a fraud, so are we surprised? Why are we not starting Alexander-Arnold at right back? Because Tuchel's a fraud. He frequently comes into contact with playing against Spanish players. Exactly. I think Tuchel's in there. and he's like, I can't believe that he didn't sack me. I can't believe I did one tournament. So what I'm going to do, I'm just going to do enough just to get us by. I might be able to bottle another tournament and then after that I'm going to see if I can make it to the next World Cup.

39:24Theo:Do you reckon Trent faces starts against Czech Republic tonight? Yeah, what changes do you think? I don't know. Do you want to see? I would start Trent. I would as well, but I don't think he will. Where? Where do you think? I'll start him at right back. Yeah. Do you think Trent they do a better job in centre mid than Lewis Skelly? No. Different kind of players. Yeah, Lewis Skelly is a centre mid, Trent isn't.

39:49Lewis Bowden:Hammond. I'm sick, yeah, we've done that shit experiment. And he's better

39:52Theo:than Roy Keane. Fashionable. I wanted to ask you about Gordon. Class. Yeah. Yeah, I like it. Has he turned out to be one of England's most important? Yeah, baby. Isn't it so? Yes, he is. Remember how over the summer we were talking about like, oh, Barcelona, they get rid of Rashford for Gordon. It was always going to do other level yeah Gordon I like him there as well and he's taken to the Spanish culture they fucking love Gordon over there he's a hard worker they fucking love him no the thing is Gordon's very much a confidence player as well and Spanish football is always going to be unbelievable for him he's very unselfish as a player which is good because that's why a lot of them love him what was it his second or third game in where he squared it straight to I can't remember and then every Barcelona account I was reading about it though and it was like a lot of it was I don't know if it was the agent it was someone close to him at least and it was like he did a lot of research he's not an idiot like he knows the stuff that gets like Barca fans on side and he basically ticked all the boxes preferring assist to a goal yeah no they love seeing that he's very smart when we talk to him he's very philosophical

41:00Lewis Bowden:he's also one thing with Gordon is doesn't matter how well or badly he plays he's going to run his nuts on and he's going to give you so it's hard not to it's hard to dislike him as a fan because he's always going to give you some. Genuinely, his level's going to go up so much over the next two years because his one problem actually was always his finishing and that was a great finish. When you're training and playing with those players every single day, you're touching that'll improve. He will naturally just go up to another level. He's going to be massive for England the next two years.

41:34Theo:He's going to be probably a third most important player

41:36Lewis Bowden:in the next three

41:37Theo:or four years. Well, when Ken phases out. Well, Bellingham's probably more important than Gordon. It's funny you say that, Bill. Can we quickly touch on Bellingham again? Sorry. Sorry, Lou. Okay. I'll try to segue. Every time I try to segue, it just doesn't happen.

41:50Lewis Bowden:He loves playing against them a lot, though, doesn't he? Because he's mainly the Barcelona players, isn't he?

41:54Theo:Even the way of passing to Gordon for that goal. I just thought he was excellent.

41:58Lewis Bowden:Yeah, he was our best player again, I think. Really quickly, before you segue, England have only now, the last 15 matches against top 10 in the world, England have only won six, three of those major tournaments Denmark and Netherlands and the semis of the Euros and just the World Cup going against France why do we have such a problem against the top 10 team and also the France game doesn't count because we're not as good as them is why yeah Argentina and Spain are better believe it or not we're just fucking not as good I don't think Argentina are better than us I don't yeah they're just but they have their filthy dirty cheats though so they have that on their side no I think that's a fair I do think that's a fair question you know because we don't even beat the teams you look at and go oh we could beat them You know what I mean?

42:40Theo:What do you mean?

42:41Lewis Bowden:What do you mean? So the argument for England's always been, oh, we only beat the teams we should beat. But there's teams that I look at, like Argentina. I think we should beat them. I think we're good enough to beat them. But we never do. Beat Germany in the Euros. But we should have won that game. We were way better. Have you seen Germany now?

42:59Theo:That was in 2001.

43:00Lewis Bowden:Yeah, they were even worse back then. They were shit then as well. They were even worse, I feel like. And also, we're at home at Wembley against a Germany team who, player for player, we were better than. You didn't expect to win that game? Yeah, I'm just trying to throw big nations out there who we've beaten. But that's what I'm saying. It doesn't matter about the name. I'm on about the actual level of the opponent. We just... There are... Other teams do beat teams who they shouldn't. Norway. Norway were good. Exactly. We beat them. No, I mean... Yeah, Norway should be. No, I'm saying Norway did that.

43:32Lewis Bowden:Norway beat Brazil.

43:34Theo:Yeah. We might have had Brazil as flops I understand

43:37Lewis Bowden:Do you think England would have beat Brazil?

43:39Theo:Yes No

43:40Lewis Bowden:Yeah I think they would have I have no faith anymore But Norway shouldn't have beat Brazil Do you get what I mean? We're not doing Because Brazil have got better players than them Not many people expected Norway to beat Brazil Norway's first world cup in here Yeah Would you not agree with that? I didn't think this would be like a contested

43:59Theo:Yeah, maybe

44:00Lewis Bowden:Maybe You thought Norway were going to beat Brazil?

44:05Theo:I don't think we all thought Brazil were going to go out I don't think it's as much of a shock as you're making out I'm not saying

44:10Lewis Bowden:I thought Brazil would go out yeah we all thought Brazil so you thought Norway would beat Brazil then no I thought Brazil would go out quite early when that game was when that can we do the list when that game was happening I thought Brazil would beat Norway oh see I thought

44:26Theo:Norway would beat Brazil that's why did you though yeah I thought a lot of people did oh fair enough especially with Erling Braut Haaland up front. Yeah. And Martin Odegaard. But there's only really one team that you'd ever think that we'd stroke, well, couldn't beat, right? Two. Spain and France. Okay, yeah. And we beat France.

44:46Lewis Bowden:Yeah.

44:47Theo:Can we count it, bro? We've got to count it. We've got six goals against the French.

44:52Lewis Bowden:I don't count that. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. That's okay. Anyway. Off the back of this chat, we're going to do one now.

45:01Theo:We're going to do a lead. Lou's got a segue for us. Well, you raised some important points there, Tom. Yeah, thanks. So now let's do our top 10 most important parent England players.

45:13Lewis Bowden:No, that's not the list. It's not the most important, is it? No, it's just the top 10 English players right now.

45:19Theo:Yeah. In your opinion, who are the top 10? Yeah, in your opinion, of course. Who's gone first? They don't necessarily have to be in the England squad, either. Spin the wheel? Spin. Oh, yeah, spin it. Also, can I just say we're disregarding injuries? I don't know who would be injured for that which names oh oh true actually he's number one isn't he for Tom way is Tom oh oh oh no oh my god it's Tom okay

45:46Lewis Bowden:go on Tom number 10 I've got Pickford yeah I love that shout bro number 9 I've gone Gehi 8th I've gone Saka 7th Gordon I think that's long no Sixth, Rhys James. Yeah, you fucking love that guy. Fifth, Kyle Palmer. Fourth, Elliot Anderson.

46:09Theo:Oh, so you've done a combo of how good they are for the nation team. No, I've just done who's the best. You think Elliot Anderson's the fourth best English person currently playing football? I think Anderson's better than Palmer. Palmer's too inconsistent.

46:21Lewis Bowden:In terms of being important to the team. You know I'm his biggest fan. He's not inconsistent for Chelsea, I would say. He is. He has been. He was terrible against Arsenal. Are you against the fucking Premier League champions? So? Anderson's been doing it every game so far. I think at the minute I'd have Anderson over Parma. Also, it's hard to compare them, isn't it? Oh, yeah. Third, Declan Rice. Second, Kane. First, Jude. Oh. Is that because of what Bellingham's done in the England shirt? He is just the best English. He's the best player. He's our best player. I thought you were doing too much here.

46:54Theo:Harry Kane scored 64 goals. Oh, God. 58. And yet again, he's missed an important penalty.

46:59Lewis Bowden:He's trying to go full reversal. He's trying to go full reversal. Dude, please, please like me, dude. I was wrong. I was wrong about you. Oh, Oh, dude, please. Oh, let me be your friend. I'm so sorry, Mark. No Morgan Rogers in there? Yeah. Yeah, that's mental. not yet. Why? I just, I don't think he's better than the 10 I've put in. I think Gordon's absolutely. I've probably been better. I'm surprised you didn't have O 'Reilly in there, because you're a big fan. O 'Reilly was a 10th original, but I thought Pickford has to be in it. I think that list might be an answer. In terms of importance, though, we're not doing that.

47:32Theo:It's called down. It did say that as well. Will said before. He said he's just the best 10 English players. Is Rodgers not being one of the best players in the Premier League this season? I've got England.

47:41Lewis Bowden:Performance-wise, probably not, no. What? I don't think he's performed that well. He's got goals and stuff. I don't think he's performed that well.

47:49Theo:In a brand new team. I think he's done pretty well. I think he's done really well, yeah. Who next? Do you watch football? Yeah, no. Mine are all fairly similar in terms of names, but obviously Rodgers is in for me. So 10th, I've got Eddie Anderson. 9th, I've got Jordan Pickford. Why Anderson Solo?

48:09Theo:That's a good point. I started doing it from... Anderson 10th. Well, it's also in terms of, because after mine, not just ability, but importance for England. Like an England... Yeah, it's both, isn't it? It's a mixture of both. So Pickford can go above him. I'm just curious how are you going to make a cup eight more names. Yeah, I mean, I did it off a combination of how good they are for England, but also like ability in terms of just outright, yeah, I mean, do what you want. Do whatever you want, Brad. Eighth, Gehi. Seventh, Gordon. Sixth, Morgan Rogers. Fifth, Bukaya Saka. Fifth, Bukaya Saka?

48:45I really disagree on Saka to Gordon. Why? Especially, I just think for England, mate, I just think like,

48:53Theo:Gordon's better. Saka nowadays definitely he just is do you know what even if it's not just England if we're just going off like this season Gordon has been better than Saka like Garen I actually I actually I actually do follow Gordon what Gordon does a lot I like him how many assists he got this year he's got like six I think so who thinks Gordon's better than Saka yeah me and Lewis yeah so what wait wait wait how many goals he got I don't know say a couple I think he's got two or three he's not scored mate he has scored no he hasn't I think he has no he hasn't He's on zero goals for Barcelona.

49:25Theo:He got told by his agent never to score for the club. Do not score goals. He hasn't scored a goal from there. He hasn't. He hasn't. He hasn't. He hasn't. The domestic. That's this season then. Cups. He hasn't. Yeah, he has. Mr. Penn. Reeve, why is... I mean, there's been some level of consistency with Saka for England and for Arsenal that I think just having him in terms of longevity, number five over Gordon, isn't actually that bad of his doubt. He's just three years ago. No, it's not that bad. I just thought this was an interesting one when I was doing my list. Do you think he's been bad for England over the last sort of three years?

50:02Theo:No, it's not that. It's just when I was...

50:04Lewis Bowden:A couple of years, yeah, he hasn't been great. He was our best player for like three years. Yeah, which is within the last three years.

50:11Theo:No, but if I'm doing it right...

50:13Lewis Bowden:In the last year or so, he's been shit. And also, you're doing the list now. Going back three years, isn't it? No, but you're doing the list now. it's not about like when I was doing this I'm not thinking about I was thinking about who's the best player now and who's going to be the most important player moving forward for England and I just thought it was an interesting thing where now I sort of think of Gordon as our best winger like over Saka which is quite a bad I don't think that's

50:34Theo:that controversial I'm not saying it's controversial it's just an interesting talking point isn't it it's an interesting talking point that Gordon is now possibly considered better than Saka possibly considered so he's saying he's possibly not I'm not but it's a good debate to have I'm not having a go I agree with you I think as well two years ago people would have just dismissed that argument yeah that's why it's interesting credit to Anthony Gordon as well and Saka's drop off Saka's dead Anthony Gordon now isn't better than what Saka was at his best ooh wait I said that I don't Anthony Gordon is that yeah you're right when Saka was at his peak Gordon wasn't there so it's not just Gordon getting better it is Saka's level dropping as well that's allowed him to do this

51:14Lewis Bowden:oh he's not as good as he was like that injuries yeah

51:16Theo:fourth Cole Palmer I just think in terms of ceiling and abilities. Probably, he could be, there's an argument to put him first but he doesn't actually hit those heights consistently. That's why I was so confused why you put him so low because you're as big as fat. I know but I just think he chose Jude now. No, I'm not saying he could only like one person from his area. In terms of ceiling out of everyone

51:36Lewis Bowden:in the 10. Also, England performances do matter in this, surely. Yeah, I mean, he scored a pretty important goal last time we played against him. I understand but then he's pretty good. He's, I don't know. I think, I think it's close

51:49Theo:I didn't do it off importance for England though I did it off just general ability in terms of how I view the players because I think Bellingham arguably should be first but I think Kane's just a better footballer than him so third I got Rice second I got Bellingham and first I got Harry Kane I think he's arguably the best player in the world arguably England's best player of all time well that's true I think he is well unfortunately you are both incorrect because I have the correct list here Lewis Hall Lewis Hall in 10th thank you actually I think Lewis Hall's going to have I actually don't mind that I actually think Lewis Hall's going to have the same arc that we've seen with Gordon like genuinely he's nowhere near his potential right now yeah nah I'm locking him down a new contract he's not going to have the same arc as Gordon no genuinely he's got so much potential to improve whoa and also it's good to have someone locked down for a long term future in that position because I don't think O 'Reilly will be the one I can't start for England it's more we have a we established a fucking idiot fraud who didn't even bring him or Rodgers like the fact that I can't believe Tuchel didn't bring him he's a fucking idiot ninth I've got Rodgers eighth I've got Anderson seventh I've got Saka not necessarily for Billy but like he's still so important to us because there's no one else who else is going to be on that so no but no but like genuinely he gets more importance points because what we're going to play Maduweki there I think in like two, three years time it would be Max Downman Could Rio play off the right?

53:22Theo:Should be Palmer I mean it should be Palmer yeah but sixth I got Gordon fifth Rice fourth I still got Pickford just because I just don't You did it off importance then yeah fair keep going and Billy like you think he's pretty good at being a goalkeeper Wait so this implies you think Lewis Hall is the best English fullback currently playing football Yes 100 % Wait so you think Pickford is a better goalkeeper than Rice is a better midfielder It's hard to compare Like these positions Do you think Rice is world class?

53:54He's like I think he's on this line I think he's on the line As a goalkeeper In the current crop You could argue it Really? In the current crop A goalkeeper Who's the top three

54:07Theo:Who would you say The top three keepers In the Premier League He's not in the top three But this is the thing We're talking about For England We can't have Peekford 4 We're talking about England It's a bit silly what are we we're talking about Pickford for England but it's not an importance he literally prefaced that it's both yeah so on this one he is when it comes to importance for England I know it's both but when it comes to importance for England Pickford's like fucking up there

54:27Lewis Bowden:is he any more with Trafford there yeah well are you convinced by Trafford enough in that performance I'm not convinced by Trafford but I don't think it's that big of a drop off as it was before with like Henderson I think that's Declan Rice and you have you have a choice between losing Declan Rice and Jordan Pickford for a major tournament who and you've got or choose somebody to lose, who do you think is more important? I think I might lose Rice because I think you have more back. You have more people than you can put in that position. Who? I don't think that you do. Who? You've just brought Garner in.

54:58You've got Warton who's his bitch shit now. Fuck off. Garner's been good. You want to take James Garner to a... Come on, man. What are we doing? By the way, how can we underestimate what Pickford's done for England? We love Jordan Biffin. He's amazing. When it comes down to... the difference with the difference with Trafford is right say we're going into a tournament and we've got like this Trafford who's inexperienced he's not really a madhead let's be honest he's a nice lad but he's a bit of a nerd like Pickford madhead it's a bit harsh he's a bit of a fucking madhead he's a leader he's been in the squad for years he has had huge huge defiler moments and if another team has a penalty against Pickford I fancy our chances every time

55:41Theo:yeah but you then just used that explanation to say why Declan Rice shouldn't be in. When he's also experienced, he's also a man-head, he's also a leader. I feel like... James Garner, who's an inexperienced footballer, he's also a centre-man.

55:54Lewis Bowden:He's like the man in the middle of the ball.

55:57Theo:You said you think Pickford's a better goalkeeper than Rice, a better midfielder, but yet you put Rice in top three midfielders in the league, but Pickford not in the top three goalkeepers in the league. Good point. I didn't hear what you said there. You said to us that you think Pickford's a better keeper than Rice, a better midfielder. I don't know if I said that. It's really different positions. That's not... I don't agree. No, we're all about world class in your positions, but being world class, it depends on what have you got in your position. Rice has way more players who are world class in that position compared to goalkeepers in the world.

56:27Lewis Bowden:He's on that precipice. Even better than he's been told. You have to think about whether Rice was world class.

56:31Theo:He's given us more power there.

56:32Lewis Bowden:Yeah. What? No. Yeah. The reason, though, the reason... It's harder to be world class as a centimetre, and I think we all agree Declan Rice is probably world class. I didn't agree to that. Jordan Pickford isn't a world class goalkeeper. I didn't agree to world class there. I said he's on the precipice I didn't say he was world class but Pickford isn't on the precipice of being a world class goalie is he? he's a really good goalie especially internationally he's one of the best international goalkeepers in the world so is the Choa yeah but like again we're doing it we're doing this for England we're not doing this on how they play each we're doing this for England when it comes to England on the world stage he's one of the best keepers in the world cups in every international tournament he's had huge huge moments that have carried us on to the next round which is massive it's not about how you play for your own club when I'm doing this list at all of course Pickford's not against Rice if we're doing this for the Premier League but it's England and Pickford and he's carried us through so many moments

57:24Theo:hey do you know what that's good logic mate keep going no I'm not doing the rest of my list now you fucking pissed me off third Palmer I thought I was going to have a pal yeah Palmer's more important than Pickford even though he hasn't been playing oh do you want to listen more he hasn't been playing It's a mix of both Oh yeah I haven't even clocked He's done that It's a mix of both When it comes down to Oh you're changing The goalpost now No it's a mix of both No that is bad Let me put it down For you this way You have a builty bar here And you have England bar Okay Pickford's like this Yeah I got you Harner Like this Yeah And also The reason he's down here Is because He's injuries And he's not being picked And he's not getting In the team And that Like that could go up easy But like I'm going to He definitely is one of the highest ability players.

58:15Yeah, and again, his ceiling moving forward into future years is like he goes above Pickford because Pickford's going to slowly be dropping off now. If Palmer gets back to cooking for England, he's going to be one of our biggest players. Look, we have Fordham who doesn't really do it. Saka's not really doing it. We're begging for someone like a Palmer to do what he does. Had to trick against friends, mate. Hasn't played for England since March as well, so he's missed obviously the tournament stuff. I would appreciate it Palmer if you did come to some of the games and you did preface this

58:45Lewis Bowden:that you're not taking club form into account I know how good of a player he is from what though he's club form who is this Palmer guy I've never seen him so are you saying I'm not counting Royce's performances for Arsenal no of course you take a baseline of how good a player is isn't it I'm not going to just ignore how like what we do with it that's what we were saying it was a silly thing to say no it's not it is because with your Pickford one you're saying Pickford and Royce and it's only about England. And then we've picked for this Palmer. You're nitpicking so much here. Although, because by that logic, I don't know who Palmer is then.

59:19Of course, I know how good generally someone is as a footballer. Do you not think playing in the Premier League is different to playing international football? Yeah, definitely. There you go then. So of course, I take a baseline of how good they are. Of course, I take a baseline of how good they are and I can apply it to them as a player. But then when I think about my top 10 list, I'm thinking about how do I think this player would do in an England team playing international football? Not playing against Bournemouth because they're not playing against Bournemouth.

59:45Theo:Nice, mate. Second Bellingham, first Kane.

59:51Lewis Bowden:I thought it would be unanimous that Bellingham was number one. I'm not ready to. Do you know what? I don't know if it's blind loyalty yet. I don't know if it's blind loyalty, but I'm just not ready to give it up. You were saying a few months ago there, Tommy. I know, yeah. He's proved me completely wrong. Again, I'll do the same question. Kane and Bellingham are injured. Who do you miss the most? Who's more of a place? Bellingham? No, it's Harry Kane.

1:00:12Theo:For the England team, it's Harry Kane. We don't have another striker. I don't hear either argument. You see what I mean?

1:00:18Lewis Bowden:The argument you could put Bellingham up front. That's an argument. Without Bellingham, we wouldn't have got to the quarterfinals. I'm not going to lie as well, you could put Gordon up front. Yeah. But it's an interesting argument. Bellingham does everything. Kane scores a few goals against shit teams and then misses massive moments against massive teams.

1:00:34Theo:It's Jude Bellingham. That's what I fucking love. That's why he's...

1:00:36Lewis Bowden:But Bellingham is the best player and our most important player by far.

1:00:39Theo:But also, what Harry Kane has done for the last 10 years is just obscene. He's getting 64 goals.

1:00:44Lewis Bowden:But again, never in a moment where we really, really need him. He constantly fails in moments we really need him. Bellingham doesn't. Bellingham shows up. Bellingham actually grabs his bollocks and goes, I'll show up.

1:00:55Theo:No, I know. I hear what you're saying. A million goals against Wolfsburg don't bother me. What you're saying is, in an England shirt, you're saying Bellingham's more important than Harry Kane. That's not necessarily what we're doing for this list.

1:01:05Lewis Bowden:But it's both. He's got everything. Kane's a better finish that's probably it that is I'm not going to lie that probably is the position I'm most inclined to change about my list but I'm just not ready to do it Bellingham's a better footballer he's more important he just feels more of a leader he's a better mentality he's a better leader

1:01:21Theo:I hear what you're saying but Harry Kane's arguably England's best ever player I don't think that's true you did like two months ago I didn't

1:01:29Lewis Bowden:I've never said he's England's best ever player he's definitely right up there I now think in our lifetime it's Bellingham do you think Harry Kane wins the Ballon d 'Or this year?

1:01:39Theo:Yeah. You can't. Everyone's given their own interviews. He's already got the most poll vote percentage anyway, hasn't he? Why can't he, Tom? Because he's not the best player in the world.

1:01:49Lewis Bowden:Why not? Because I think Mbappe is better than him. I think Jamal is better than him. Every player is just going to press two at the ball. Have they had a better season? Yeah, that's the point. We see it, it's ridiculous. You might want to work up, to be fair, but have Mbappe and Shonda during the World Cup. But before that as well, did they have better club seasons? I'd have to look. what did Kane win? Bundesliga and the cup. The hearts of us. Semi-factor of the Champions League. The hearts of millions.

1:02:13Theo:70 goals as well. And that's what football's about is how it makes you feel. He got 72 goal contributions in 56 games for Bayern Munich. You're a bit disrespectful to this one. And what did Mbappe get? He got 14, you say he didn't do it against Wolfsburg or whatever, all he did. He also got 14 and 13 in the Champions League.

1:02:28Lewis Bowden:Yeah, mate, we're not denying Harry Kane he's not a great footballer. He kind of feels like you are. Get up the games where it really mattered. Let's not go around on this one. We've done this to be like five times. You know my opinions on this.

1:02:40Theo:Come on then, Theo. Let's get your top ten. No, we are sticking on this one. No, we've done this to be so many times. You say you're disregarding what Harry Kane did last year, but actually a lot of people were talking about Drew Bellingham last season not at the same level going into the World Cup. So you're changing this purely on the World Cup, really?

1:02:55Lewis Bowden:Yeah, kind of. 100%. Yeah. Interesting. Because I think that matters. It's the biggest stage of all, and he showed up and carried us. I mean,

1:03:03Theo:Jamal didn't have a great tournament. and came in with the World Cup. So, I mean, the argument to say the inverse kind of counts as well.

1:03:09Lewis Bowden:I know. And Mbappé showed up in the World Cup. Harry Kane didn't again. Other than the Congo game. He was fucking wank in every other game. Are we seriously going to pretend like Kane had a good World Cup? Because he probably scored a few penalties again. He hindered us against Argentina. What are you mentioning about our fucking own box? He might be watching this, you know. I don't care, I'm sick of it. I did think he got a goal and assist against Mexico. I actually feel like Harry would just be sad watching this.

1:03:38Theo:Bellingham carried us through Mexico, Theo. Harry Kane was a part of it. And then he got taken off, wasn't he? Can we not even think about the World Cup? but it really does press me. We wouldn't have got to the Mexico game without him. So, I mean, if you're going to admit that argument, he literally screwed up.

1:03:51Lewis Bowden:I just said, yeah, great against Congo, but I expect him to do that. I want him to do it against games where we need him. Yeah, but nobody else did do that in that game. Yeah, it's not fair for you. I said, I've just said you can have the Congo. One well done. Brilliant. No, but then you go, but then you go, but I expected that from him. Goal in a city against Mexico is quite important. Theo, he didn't play that well in that game. Bellingham won us that game. Just give him a little bit of credit, you fucking

1:04:14Theo:word I'm not discrediting we're talking about the best name big games you'd be like yeah well fucking let's hear you do you know like fucking

1:04:23Lewis Bowden:say you love him I don't love him I think he bottles it in most big games I don't think he's got the mentality of a Bellingham or Mbappe or a Yamaha

1:04:33Theo:I don't think you'd get to his level and just football without having a mentality like that how many caps has he got as England caps 400 we've been over

1:04:41Lewis Bowden:I have a different opinion

1:04:42Theo:to you three. It's fine. We had a different opinion about Jude Bellingham and now you're over here. Remember you thought Variety's better than him last season. Yeah. Then when you said saying it's Jude Bellingham is an argument it fucking is. It's not though. It is. It is. I saw a montage of you saying that and then I showed him just being Jude Bellingham in the World Cup. Seems like there was something going on. Alright I've got the right list now. Now. What do you mean by now? Is this your only still have you asked AI? Hashtag censor side. In 10, I've got Reece James. You'll never know what hasn't made this show, guys.

1:05:19Just know the field tapes are coming. Yeah, and the show has no more credibility

1:05:24Lewis Bowden:because they asked for things to be cut.

1:05:26Theo:It's got no more credibility, mate, because you said Jubangham's shit and now he's your best England player. He's really the glass. In 10, I've got Reece James. You got that from AI as well. In 9, I've got Jordan Pickford. In 8, I've got Elliot Anderson. in seven I got Rogers in six I got Anthony Gordon in five I got Saka in four I got Kyle oh yeah I missed it yeah sorry in four I got Cole Palmer in three I got Declan Rice in two I got Jude Bellingham and in one I got Harry Kane we literally we almost have the identical list there other than you didn't put Mark Gay here but other than that it's pretty much the same yeah did you not have a got me for mine?

1:06:11Theo:No. I didn't. Okay, right. I forget what. I said, when you started off with Jordan Pickford or Rhys James like 10, I said, yeah, it's a great list. Okay, yeah, class. He hasn't got James? No, I don't have Rhys James. Well, Pickford and 10, was it? Anderson. It was me, who had Pickford 10 and then James. I said, great list to you as well. I think that might be the opposite of any Pitchside episode. Like, my list finished and then the clip ended. Because only of the rebuttals would make the end.

1:06:41Theo:Right now, guys, we're going to try something that we've never done on the show before. Ground baking stuff. It's a£100 million all-time Premier League draft. Now, obviously, Will's going to explain it to you and us at the same time because it's the first time we've done this. I think there's actually a really easy way of explaining it to the viewers. We're basically doing real-life FPL, but we're bidding for the prices of the players. Yeah, everyone gets a 100 million budget. Everyone gets a 100 million budget. Full circle to the start of the posh. 100 mil budget. Everyone bids on the players.

1:07:12They might get ramped up loads and we have to make our best 11 team. But I do want to caveat that it's not just all time. So you could get somebody rubbish. Yep. Nobody's ever going to be rubbish, but you've got to decide where you put your money.

1:07:24Theo:Yeah, they're not all-time greats. They're just all-time prem players. You're after 11 players, not a squad of 16. 11 players, starting 11. Okay, cool, cool. And obviously we don't know when they're coming out. Will doesn't really know. It's going to be a bit funky. Let's see the first player. Right, first player is... Didier Drogba. I'll throw 2 million. I would like to throw 8 million down, please. I'll go 9.

1:07:51Theo:9's going once. I'll go 10 million. I don't know what he's going. We've got 11. I don't want him. 10. Going once. Go on, I'll go 11. Oh, he's fucking beating water on the first. 11 million. I think I might be an overspend. I don't know. 11 twice Yeah Alright, Didier Drogba goes to Tom For 11 million pounds Tom, it's a good sign in there But I think 12 was too much I think 11 might be too much Yeah, but that's why I didn't go for it Oh Right, next player is Virgil van Dijk I'll go 5 million I'll go 10 Big bids early 11

1:08:31Lewis Bowden:I'm alright I'll go 12 I'll go 13 15 I'll go 17 18 19 20 mil 21 What the fuck are they doing? You're going to have no money though

1:08:47Theo:22 Yeah, you can have him Okay 22 You should have let him have it for 21 He's almost done a fifth of his budget on one player You should have let him have it for 21 He'd have no money left He's done a fifth of your budget on one player Yeah He's a good player That's fine I don't mind I knew I'd get you to go up then Alright, next player Gareth Barry 5 mil.

1:09:07Lewis Bowden:Ooh. I like that guy. Go on, Barry for 5 mil off the bat. Yeah. You said John Bo is too much for 11. Mate, one of the most experienced Premier League players. You just have no idea what's coming. All right, anyone for 6 million? I'm definitely going for 5. 5 million, anyone once? Twice? Go on, I'll go 6. I'll be a legend. You can have him.

1:09:28Theo:He laughed at him for 5. Yeah, that's a 5. Go on, 6. I think Tom realises he's going to have to get some cheap players I don't know right up next me and Theo just not buy anyone Jamie Vardy oh I'll go 7 million off the bat yep I'll go 8 I'm good I'm alright so 8 going once twice Lewis fucking bargain mate right next player share given 2 mil I'll go 3 mil 4 mil 5 million I'm alright alright 4 million going once twice 5 mil oh you can have them I don't mind I want Tom's money to drop I don't know what keepers how much was that then 5 you've only said one keeper right that's solid for a keeper I'd give him you've only said one keeper so far funny you should say that next one is Joe Hart oh I'll go 5 million

1:10:316 million anyone? No 5 going once I think Gibbon's better Twice Yes Theo's first player Joe 5 million How disrespectful Are you to Shea Given? How disrespectful Are you to fucking Joe Hart? Pretty close Shea Given was Don't think about him And his actual prime He was unbelievable Especially for us Joe Hart's prime was better Maybe he wasn't

1:10:54Theo:Going for cheaper than The best manager in the world Came into the club And binned him First thing he did and he regretted it did he? no he didn't did he? he went on to win everything by cheating he did regret it he regretted shit given is don't make a scene in an interview about it I think he was just being nice shit given is fucking better than Joe Hart by the way Jesus Christ alright next yeah he was next player same price David Beckham 5 mil 7 maybe 7 I'll go 8 mil anybody for 9 million? I'm more happy to rinse out of Reeves' budget Downey spent 25 or whatever it is. Beckham and Drogba. Cut and Dyke.

1:11:31So eight million gold points. Nine.

1:11:33Theo:So I'll go nine. Did you bid eight as well? He bid eight. You can have for nine, Mel. Take that. We haven't done the going once, going twice thing. Yeah. You just said he'd take it. You said take it. No one else's. Stole to Lewis. No. I wanted to bid. Okay. Not Lewis. What? Stole to me. Stole to Rick. Thanks, man. You've got to do the giving someone an opportunity after the going once, going twice. Yeah, that is true. Because we might want to nab it. Yeah, that's what I wanted to do. I wanted to nab it at 10 million.

1:12:00Lewis Bowden:Go on then. Say it again. Say it. Don't you cut it? Cut it and say it then. If you want to nab it, you can nab it. You didn't want it, did you? You just lied, didn't you? Nine million go once. Nine million go twice. Sault to me for nine million.

1:12:15Theo:What a great bit. I just made us do that. You are fucking idiots. I changed my mind halfway through. You would never want it. You would never want it. He was never going for it. He was lying the whole time. Integrity of the bid. That's what I want. The fuck is wrong with him? Oh, now he wants integrity. Oh, yeah. Integrity. Release the Theophiles. Release the Theophiles. So that was David Beckham up next. Yeah, we said it loud enough and long enough. It has to be in one of the... Just put it in each clip. Fernando Torres. Three million. Four. Five. I'll go six. I'll go seven million, Torres. I'll go I'll go 8 I'll go 8.5 I'll get half measures I'll go 9 9 million Your team I thought was just so hard Good player Friend of the show I don't like your team at all Right, Torres going for 9 million Once Twice Sold to Theo I think I just stink you let me have Vardy you let me have Vardy you let me have Vardy for eight yeah Torres is better than Vardy he was good for two seasons at Liverpool he was shit at Chelsea yeah you've got to take him to the whole account by the way who's a better Premier League striker right Vardy or Torres there's only one person I'll scoff in this me that's a genuine question no Vardy for sure we've got a better prime it's really it's not that far off oh mate Torres for Liverpool's a joke Vardy scored 11 times in the row you've just you've disappeared it's been a million more for a worse player right next player is Ashley Cole

1:13:59Lewis Bowden:oh hello 5 million 6 7 8 9 10 12 13 14 I've got money to play with baby oh wait how much did I buy you've got 86 million left Theo you bought them for 9 million and at heart I bought for 5 can we have going once please what are we on today 14 14 going once Going twice. Ashley calls Sulton Lewis for£14 million. Yeah, that is a great pull. Up next, Peter Crouch. Oh, he's big, he's red.

1:14:37Theo:What, with Beckham as well? I'll go£3 million.

1:14:40Lewis Bowden:Why didn't you say one? No one else wants it.

1:14:43Theo:Yeah, but that's probably enough.

1:14:48Wait, no one actually wants...

1:14:50Theo:Didn't you say three? Crouch going once. I'll take that. Going twice. You spread nearly 30 million on Van Dijk and Crouch. Peter Crouch sold to Reeve for three million pounds.

1:15:01Lewis Bowden:I can't believe how high you win for Van Dijk.

1:15:02Theo:You're in the world's tallest tee. You're not laughing at Peter Crouch. He's crazy. He's not for your million strike a little bit. No, you could have bidded one million. Up next. Yeah, but that's true. Bruno Fernandes. A mil. Five mil. Six. Seven Eight Nine Ten You can have You can have normal Right, right, right No one said Oh yes, it's good Ten million going once Going twice Eleven million

1:15:38Lewis Bowden:See, that's where you need it Because when it goes to once or twice You get that feeling where you go I want him I told you he needed it That isn't what you said you wanted it You said you wanted to steal Beckham Sorry, this will all be cut

1:15:53I feel like we should go back into 11 million going once Yeah 11 million going twice Sold to Lewis Bruno Fernandes for 11 million pounds I'm actually making such a gamble on my team Theo, I feel like you think These good players are going to keep coming I think they will N 'Golo Kante 5-0 6 7 10 11 12 13

1:16:2114 14 going once N 'Golo Kante 14 going twice 15

1:16:27Theo:Oh shit You can't afford this 16 16 16 plus mil left 16 Are we having 17 anyone? 17 million That push So 16 million for Kante going once Nice one mate Going twice Sold to Tom Are you ever going to spend money? He's waiting until he has a full nine players to choose from and just hope that we'll give him He just spams him all the shit He can't change the order of the players he's written out Your strategy can't just be to outweigh everyone building their teams Kante and Drogba How much? You got a cent midfield of Kante and Barry 27 million Kante and Barry

1:17:09Lewis Bowden:It's actually not a bad midfield Mate, Kante does the running Barry fucking dictates Barry Up next we've got Harry Maguire

1:17:20Theo:1 million Good pick Yeah, yeah, good pick Yeah, she was good to be fair Good pick Your team's class

1:17:28Lewis Bowden:Your team's going off I'd actually pay 1 million Not to have a team in my place You know what I mean

1:17:33Theo:He's going to have 90 million Your team is It's hard Maguire and Torres 1 million going once 1 million going twice

1:17:44Lewis Bowden:You might as well just end Salt And I'm whacking Maguire on penalties as well. Nice. Yeah, your team is cooking. You're going off over there.

1:17:52Theo:I don't like Maguire. Maguire's not a good defender.

1:17:54Lewis Bowden:You're going off, mate. It's kicking up a space, though. Trent Alexander-Arnold. Two million. Five. Six. Seven. Ten. Ooh. That's put a cat in my opinion, isn't it? Ten million at the moment, Tom. We're getting 11 million from anyone. I haven't got any money, Mason, though. 10 million going once. 10 million going twice. 11. 12.

1:18:20Theo:Fuck! The year's trying to build his midfielder out there. Yeah, I'm trying to get off as midfielder. We have 13 million. 12 million going once. 12 going twice. Saw to Tom. Tommy laughed at Lewis for buying Cole for 14 million.

1:18:35Lewis Bowden:Yeah, I've got two million less. But the best right back in Premier history. Ashley Cole's better than... I thought Reece James was better, mate. Karl Walker. Better now. He's not the best in history, is he? Trent's the best right back in history in the Prem, surely. So, Tom, at the moment, you've got 52... Gary Neville. I've got Trent whipping balls into Drogba. Yeah, Luke, he's not going to be there to defend. Nah, he's ass overplayed that. So, Tom, you've got 52 million left. Reeve, 66. I don't think I have. I think I've only got 50. 11, 22. I've got 85 million left. This is essential. We need to...

1:19:06Lewis Bowden:I've been counting... Given was five. Trent, 12. Barry, six. Kante, 16. Drogba, 11. I got that wrong nice do we all know how we're doing mate yeah yeah yeah I'm knowing it as well but clearly incorrectly 66 yeah I've got Lewis 67 yep Theo 85 yep and the worst team ever alright we're going to go for now Mesut Ozil oh he'd be good in my team

1:19:35Theo:1 million 2 3 4 5 6 7 I will get 9 million from anyone for Mesut Ozil 9 10 anyone no in German 9 million going once 9 million going twice sold to Theo for 9 million what a squad mate what a squad he's been in you're a cookie man the most immobile team I've ever seen in my life. And as far as that Liverpool was their mobile, was it? It was at Chelsea. And Chelsea, he fucking was. He couldn't even score a tap in. You've got Ozil standing, Ozil not being able to move at all. Torres fucking missing. Maguire, Maguire. I'm not sure.

1:20:27Lewis Bowden:He's in the Euros team. Yeah, he scored the winner in LA.

1:20:32Theo:I'd assume he was. I'm building mine for the next five years, mate. Yeah. Yeah. When you're all bankrupt next year. Isn't it infamous that Ozil wouldn't work in the modern game. Is that not what we think? No, we would have been underrated. He would have been good in Martinique. Dive position. You're going to want to bid for this one. Cristiano Ronaldo. 1 million. 5 million. 10. 15. 16. 20. You're going to have no players. 21. 22. 23. anyone?

1:21:09Lewis Bowden:I'll go 23. 24. 25. You did half your budget here. I don't give a fuck. 26. I've got money don't worry about it. Not anymore you don't. No I don't. Count 27 from anyone.

1:21:26Theo:He's the best player. He's the best there isn't he. Is he the best? He is. 26 going once. I think unanimously we all think another player is the best in the Premier League. 26 going twice. Give it to me though. 27. I'm actually glad he did that. I didn't want him for that price. You can go once again. 20, anyone? All right. So 27 going once. 27 going twice. Sold to Tom for 27. 27 million for the second best player of all time. Yeah, fuck. Messi's not in it. You've got 23 million pounds left now, yeah? I've got a striker. I actually hope Henri just doesn't come and you've been waiting this whole time.

1:22:03Mate, I've got Pierre Crouch for nine times less than that.

1:22:07Theo:How much money you got left?

1:22:09Lewis Bowden:23.

1:22:11Theo:I haven't spent 23.

1:22:12Lewis Bowden:You've got so many positions left. I ain't got that many. Right, up next. I've got off my team. Patrice Everett. 1 mil.

1:22:20Theo:3. 4 mil.

1:22:265 million, anyone?

1:22:27Theo:I'll go 5 for Everett, yeah. I'll go 6 million. You can't afford it.

1:22:36Lewis Bowden:I'm all right with that. So we've got six million for Everett at the moment.

1:22:40Theo:That's not bad. We've got seven for anyone. Six million going once. Going twice. Sold to Theo. What a fucking bargain that is, by the way. You don't get to take the money home with you, mate. I mean, top three left back of all time. Do you want a little one for your teams? Start with you, Theo. Who you've got and how much one have you got left? In heart. In goal I've got in my heart. Goal, I've got Joe Hart. A back two of Maguire and Everett. and I've got Ursul and Torres how much money have you spent do you know didn't you mean to tell you 30 million 70 left yeah Lewis I've spent 33 million and I've got Ashley Cole Bruno Fernandes and Vardy nice I've spent 34 I've got Van Dijk Beckham and Crouch Tom

Maybe as well just get the pace scored. Jimmy Carrigan sold. Oh, oh, oh. He said yeah. Five, he's in.

1:24:11I'll go five. You can have him. All right. Jimmy Carrigan going once. Jimmy Carrigan going twice. That's sold for five million.

1:24:21Lewis Bowden:Both Liverpool. Exactly. I saw one of them next to Trent's. We're helping. Carrigan's left-sided. Up next.

This is a big one for you now. I actually did want him. I wanted him to think I didn't want him because I'm sure that, like, we'll be thinking the last keeper has to be shit because that's funny. No, but it's amazing for one mil. Petr Cech's now the third most expensive player so far.

1:25:30Lewis Bowden:Yeah, that's a good poll. as a career pull. No, he's not. He's not. How much did he go for? 15? Yeah, Ronaldo. I've got two more than that. I've got one. Yeah, yeah. I've missed that. Right. Up next, Kyle Walker.

1:29:53Still going to be a lot more midfielders to be said. Not that many. You'll be surprised. Up next, John Stones. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven.

1:30:05Lewis Bowden:Eight. Nine. Ten.

1:30:13One of the best centre backs of all time. No eleven, so ten million going once. This is perfect for my team. Ten million going twice. Eleven. I was lying. It's not perfect. Ten was too much.

1:30:24Theo:John Stones? It's kind of expensive. 11 million going once. It's the same price as Drogba. 11 million going twice. 12. I was lying. I didn't want him. You should delete that Stones from your team. 12 million going once. More than Drogba. 12 million going twice. Sold. For 12 million pounds. Not for 12 million. I didn't want any money left. Yeah, I knew that was why you were doing it. You spend 15 million on Czech, 12 million on Stones, and 14 million on Ashley Cole. I'm fine with how my team's done. Don't you worry, mate. Defenceman's titles. Mate, my team is fucking cooking right now. Speaking of defence, the next one we have is Nemanja Vidic.

1:31:05Three.

1:31:07Lewis Bowden:Four. Five. Six. Seven.

1:31:16Theo:Yes! You've done it! Right, seven million going once. 7 million for Vidic That's pretty good 7 million going twice 8 million I knew that was coming That's so obvious How many times did he win player of the year? Like three times? Two Are we having 9 million from anyone? He wasn't the best part of the pen Okay so 8 million going once 8 million going twice I love his pen Nemanja Vidic Saul Beguire and Vidic Going to get absolutely bladded by Vardy man You've got a back four now though Good back four as well And a back four You've got a keeper as well

1:31:50Lewis Bowden:that 8 million I got that for yeah so we have how much have people got left so I've got 22 left I've got 23 left yeah Reeve's got 46 yeah I think so and then Theo's got 41 cool oh my god Reeve has more money than you though yeah he's only got 5 Theo's only got 3 players left to get as well so he's been so he's got 41 million

1:32:11Theo:dumped a lot on Kane and Van Dijk alright next up Robin Van Persie ola fuck me 1 3

1:32:22Lewis Bowden:4 5 Oh I could put Torres on the left wing A position he never played Yeah nice I'll do 6 7 I think that's coming

1:32:35Theo:Every time He's worth at least 15 Nobody for 8 So 7 million going once I'll go 8 He's worth like 15 mil that person Not in today's market mate Today's market, the budgets are running a bit... 8 million going once. 8 million going twice. Robin Van Persie sold for Lewis for 8 million. Good bargain, that. That's a good purchase. A very good deal. I didn't need him. I just wanted to beat him. I didn't want him to beat him before. I can play Vardy a little bit deeper now. Lewis has got 14 million. You've got Bruno and Gerrard in centre mid and in 4-4-2. I'm not doing 4-4-2. Vardy in the 10?

1:33:13Lewis Bowden:Shall we play Van Persie in the 10? Yeah, you should. No, Vardy's going to play in the 10. So you've also got 14 million left on four players.

1:33:21Theo:You've got four players to get. For 14 million? Yeah. Hell yeah, man. You've got no purchase power now. I don't need a mid. I've got like a heart. Have you seen me too? I can have loads of shitters around these. Wait, and I've got 41 for three players? Yeah. Yeah, but your team is shit. What? Everett's top three left-backs of all time. You've got Maguire. He's class. Your team's shit. Maguire was class. You've got two centre-backs Who's next? I got a pair of the head twice, mate His third name's better David James One mil Yeah, good Good price, that Yeah, that's fine Boo You sure threw out Like a fucking Kelleher Boo

1:34:02Lewis Bowden:That's not even a bad Probably a similar level To be honest

1:34:05Theo:Take that Save to Joe Hart And Jay Given for a mil I don't like your team anymore Shit You're actually giving James You're giving Theor Run for his money here A level all right next player for a million Leighton Baines oh nice two three mil

1:34:25four they've got left backs on them

1:34:28Theo:oh it's me versus you five

1:34:36Theo:nah he can have you don't mind you can't go the same price as ever you can have you don't mind that five million Leighton Baines the last one yeah All right, next player. Yaya Turi. Oh, hello. 15 million. What the fuck? Nah, I'm joking. No, no, no. He said it. You're an auction, mate. It's an auction. I'm joking. Seize the reaction. Yeah. Oh, no, it's just a joke, guys. Fuck it. 15 million. What are you doing? You bid more than I could even have. Have you got 16 million from anyone? At least I've got him. No. I'm all right. 15 million. He could have got him for eight, I think, man, with how much money people have.

1:35:17Sold for 15. He does need him desperately for his team.

1:35:22Theo:Oh, this is looking good now. Next player. Mo Salah.

1:35:29Theo:Five. That's sad.

1:35:32Lewis Bowden:Why? I'll do six. Seven. Eight. Nine. Lewis, you've got£14 million left, remember. Thanks, Will. Why do you tell my competition my money? 23.

1:35:47Theo:How many players?

1:35:49Lewis Bowden:Five. I get the left back, don't I? Five players? But I get the left back. Ten.

1:35:59Eleven. Million from you.

1:36:01Lewis Bowden:Nah, you can have it. Ten million on once. It's a good deal. Ten million on twice. Ooh. Twelve.

1:36:08Theo:Ooh. Thirteen. Ooh. You can't afford to... How many things have left? I just have to pick up freebies. You can't. It's a minimum bid. Yeah, it's a million pound. I'll enjoy that then. So 12 million. Banging. 13 it was, I think. 13 million going once. Going twice. Mo Salah's sold. You shouldn't have outbid me. I wouldn't have been able to finish my team. Actually, I would have been playing with that. I wouldn't have played with nine men. You've got to finish your team. Oh, yeah, jeez. I've got left for one player. Actually, don't tell me. I'll work it out. No, tell us. No, no, no, no, no. No, you can't.

1:36:40Theo:No, you can't. He just said mid-auction How much money I've got one player left 13 million Do you want to go for your team? How much has he got? 13 million Out of bitch Did I say your team then Theo? So far Johar Walker Vidic Maguire Evra Yaya Torre Alonso Ozil Salah Torres Some fucking shit Mine's probably worse than that But I've got 40 million to play with So it's not too bad Yeah Gamble though Alright Next up Michael Essien five

1:37:17can I take a six from anyone no five million going once five million going twice so for five million that's why you that's the gamble paid off right there I don't know if it's that much I don't think it's a gamble paying off I think you midfield still have you got any you haven't got any other central midfielders yet

1:37:37Theo:no he's my first one oh bloody hell alright next up That's why I bid for him. Gary Cahill. One mil.

1:37:48Two.

1:37:50Theo:Go for it. Fucking get it. Three. He can't. He's outbitted.

1:37:55Lewis Bowden:He'll be a dick. Three mil.

1:37:59Theo:You can afford it. I don't really want him. Gary Cahill, three times the price of Maguire. You can afford it. He's better than Maguire. He is better than Maguire. He is. Stop disrespecting Harry Maguire. Gary Cahill for£3 million. See, three times the player than Maguire. Go on once. I can't afford him. Go on twice. Gary Cahill sold me the big master. To Tom for£3 million. And I get my left back for free, basically. You've got to pay a mil. Gareth Barry for£5 million looks funny now, next to Essien, actually. No, I have Gareth Barry. No, he does. No, he's six. Oh, right. You've got to pay more for Barry than Essien.

1:38:37All right. Next up. get your money ready Phil Jones One

1:38:49Lewis Bowden:You've actually bid on him No way You've actually bid on Phil He needs to send him back I'm going to get him in cheap You could have not bid You say minimum bids No

1:38:59Theo:As in to get a player in No I want to get a player in So you're bidding the same price to Harry Maguire for Phil Jones No You have I got Maguire for one mil Phil Jones go once Yeah, but you would have outbid me from Maguire. I'll be able to get this. Phil George going twice. Yeah. Sold to Lewis. Oh, no, I could have actually come from Maguire.

1:39:17Lewis Bowden:Yeah, this is... How much did he pay for him? Same as me from Maguire.

1:39:20Theo:Three or four. He paid one from Phil Jones. Oh, one. That's fine. That's an overpay. It means I can actually spend on other positions now. I needed that for flexibility. Can you spend...

1:39:32Lewis Bowden:How much money have you got left, Lewis? 14. With how many positions? I'm up 30. Yeah, you spent a mil there. All right, next book.

1:39:38Theo:How many plays have you got there?

1:39:39Lewis Bowden:Thierry Henry. Oh, Thierry Henry. I might actually just end with less plays. Are you going to do it? What for me should he play in? He's got Kane and Crouch.

1:39:51Theo:It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. I'll start on one. I'll get two. How much money have we got? You've got to play him in position, bro. I could do that. You can play him wherever you want. Three strikers. Play him out wide, mate. Three million. Anybody for four?

1:40:06Lewis Bowden:Four. Five. Six. 7 8 9 10 11 fuck that's the max I can do 11

1:40:20Lewis Bowden:12 I can't let him go that cheap 13 13

1:41:13Theo:I might have to go three at the back

1:41:14Lewis Bowden:how much

1:41:15Theo:how many have you got left let's say your team then Dave David James Virgil van Dijk Jamie Carragher Leighton Baines David Beckham Essien Henri Crouching Kane

1:41:26Lewis Bowden:you can play Crouching the 10 Beckham at right wing back

1:41:32Theo:you're actually best playing Kane as one of your central midfielders

1:41:35Lewis Bowden:yeah you can play Beckham right wing back I'm actually going to go three at the back

1:41:37Theo:and then Bain's left wing back, yeah. Oh, Jesus Christ. Stinks. How much money has everyone got left? 13. Yeah, Theo's on 13. 13. Reeve is on 17. You're on 20. I'm on 20.

1:41:50Lewis Bowden:How many pages you got? One more player. Four, but the left back's mine for a million. It's a technically 19. Well, I might just tick. You better hope it's a good left. You better hope it's a good left. I might tick. I'm just putting right back. Peter Crouch in the TED. I might. Next one, Sylvan Distun. I've gone free the back of my knee Reeve you kind of need this guy by the way No it'll be alright

1:42:11Theo:You need a centre back By the way we can't not just keep Not bidding Yeah you can't Just keep waiting for like a good player to come That's a bit of a floral

1:42:21Lewis Bowden:Yeah I don't know how that Surely he has to bid

1:42:24Theo:You need a centre back you need to bid

1:42:27Lewis Bowden:So me and Reeve have to bid I'll go Mill I've got mine done I've got Phil Jones Okay Going once We don't want it to two mil I don't need him Going twice I haven't picked my formation yet Distance sold for a million To Tom Great signing that mate He's alright Phil Johns is better Up next Tim Cahill

1:42:51Theo:Well I definitely don't need him Does anyone need him? Anyone need a striker? Someone without a striker He's not a striker What formation do you play? Can 4-3-3 Number 10 I'm personally coming into the 10, yeah. Bruno notoriously shitty. I need a bit. Yeah, I'll go a mil. Two 10s. Gerard in the seat. We're doing two 10s and Gerard's sitting. A million going once. A million going twice. Sort the ton for a million pounds. Where are you playing him? In the 10? In the 10, yeah. You've gone double Cahill? Oh, yeah. Let's hear your team then, Tom, so far.

1:43:24Lewis Bowden:I've got Given, Trent, Cahill, Distant, Barry, Kante, Cahill, Drogba, Ronaldo. So what are you looking for? I need a left back and a right winger it's funny you say that your left back Paul Konczewski can I tell you what I've got a fucking Brexit back for you 1 million 1 million 1 million going twice I can't do this 1 million going twice sold to Tom good Paul good Paul good Paul he scored a good goal good goal on the FA Cup really good Paul alright was it a cross though yes Kevin De Bruyne 5 10

1:44:07Theo:and how many have you got left? I think he said 17 why don't you just work it out? you've got 17 left yeah for how many players? 2

1:44:19Lewis Bowden:and how many more players are coming out though? we've got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 after this

1:44:30I can't let him go for 10. 11. You can. All right, 10 million going once. 10 million going twice. Yeah, I'll go 11. I'll have him for 11. 12. I've just had a brainwave. Put Gerrard on the right. He did from his youth. 12 million going once. He used to go the way. And for England. 12 million going twice. 13. Oh, my. 14.

1:44:50Theo:Oh, shit. These both only need, you only need one play left. I know. 14 going twice. 15. 16. That's all I can bid Isn't it Yeah You can take him For 17 Tom You've got enough money For 17 Yeah I'll take him For 17 Right Anybody for 18 Nobody can afford him Sold to Tom 17 million My team's done now Well you've got 11 players Yeah Right let's see a team Let's see a team In this field You needed a midfield Should we not say that For the end Either a right winger

1:45:22Lewis Bowden:Or I've gone Now I've gone 4-4 Well 4 Diamond 2 Yeah 4-2 4-2 I've gone Given, Trent, Cahill, Distan, Koczeski. That's not the strongest back four. Jesus Christ. Barry, Kante, De Bruyne, Cahill, and then Drogba and Ronaldo up front. Very narrow. I don't know how I feel about your team. It confuses me at the end. Koczeski and Trent will bomb on. Sorry, yeah. Notoriously. A couple of players need right backs here.

1:45:53Theo:Well, that's if you think that you're playing four at the back, yeah. Well, yeah. It's time for this man. Two left wingers needed, I think. One. Who's this? Gary Neville. One million. You do need a lot. What are you even doing on your team? I'm hoping... I'm holding out for two midfielders, though. Well, there needs to be more forwards. I need a left winger. I need a left winger. He's only saying that because he doesn't want me to get them. Have you said Henri? Yeah. I just paid 18 mil for it. Oh, my God. I know who he hasn't said. What about your own money, man? Scare money Make no money We probably shouldn't What we're doing at the moment You're going forward Three I'm just one at the moment Go three Reeves on three million Reeves on three million Beckham can play in sentiment Anyway it's fun When he was 35 Reeves on for three million For Neville Okay You've got 35 year old Beckham in you Four million Five million from you Reeves For Gary Neville

1:46:48Yeah

1:46:48Theo:Five Top three right backs Of all time Seven million from you How much money you got left Not telling you Just bid your own fucking game, brother. Six million going once. For Gary Neville, that's a bargain. Six million going twice. Huge bargain. You've got to do it, mate. Sold to Lewis for six million pounds. That's a great deal, by the way. You've got seven million left for your last player. Right, next player. Wayne Mooney.

1:47:14Lewis Bowden:Someone's going to get Rooney for nothing. One. Two. Three. He can be on my bench.

1:47:24Theo:Three yeah three What he's not a guiding my team's done. Oh joking How many you got what you got got two left, but I got 17 mil But he's got three strikers already

1:47:41Lewis Bowden:Why you can't get four striker you can I'm one yet for we could apply really for mill

1:47:47Theo:I am gonna play him in four mill just behind Harry Kane in the 10. Can we have five million from anyone? Four in there Yeah five Six million Luke No Can't do it What do you need? Mate this team is stacked Seven million Oh we're in for seven Eight Nine How much money you got? Not telling you I'm a big dickie Ten The fuck you 13 million That's his last player And that's all he's got left Nope That's definitely all he's got left How much money does he have? Eight million What the fuck? It's already been done now. I've been updating throughout. 14, yeah. You can't, you don't need him. It doesn't mean I can't be quiet.

1:48:28Theo:What are you doing? This is the integrity of the fucking sport. It's gone.

1:48:31Lewis Bowden:You have the most mental team I've ever seen in my life. 14 million going once. I need it forward. 14 million going twice. Yeah, we can have the next one. Oh, God. Horby gives you like a fucking... That is the way to do it, though. He's stopping you and getting Rooney.

1:48:43Theo:For the sacrifice of his team. He's already fought. It was long gone. That team has no structure whatsoever, mate. Is that how much you got left now? Three For two players For one I just got your player Next up Raheem Sterling Dream Three million Four million Fuck Guess what I need A left winger Oh this would be an interesting Hedge to shoot out then Bid for him then What do you bid? Four million Five Six Seven Can't afford to anymore

1:49:13Lewis Bowden:How many players do you need? You've got seven million now Two players And you've got seven million left It's not that bad if I got Raheem there I will say Hazard ain't come up, yeah. I think you've got one million left. No, I don't. Okay. I've been there. All right, so seven million going once, seven million going twice. Decent, decent. Theo completes his team with Raheem Sterling for seven million.

1:49:36Theo:No, he's about to get some. By the way, I think I've got like five million spare. You've got six million, yeah. Do you want us to run for your team? Yeah, Hart, Walker, Vidic, Maguire, Evra, Torre, Alonso, Ozil, Salah, Torres, Sterling. It's not a bad team. Actually ended up being a bad team. Live on three yards, unless I've miscounted it. I've got Cech, Neville, Phil Jones, Stones, Ashley Cole, then centrally you are Gerrard and Bruno Fernandes, and then Van Persie, Vardy. Nice. Hang on a minute, I've still got money, so I can keep bidding. Yeah, but why? You can't keep bidding.

1:50:06Lewis Bowden:Your team's complete. Yeah, you're out there. So have I,

1:50:08Theo:I've got money spare. I can bump him up, so he'll need to pay him. No, you can't. You can't bump him up, you're out of your auction, brother. It's just me and you. It's like a bid. Nikon for what? you've got money yeah but that's just not how it works Eden Hazard how much money you got 1 million I'll bid the rest of what I have what is that I think that's 3 4 million

1:50:32Lewis Bowden:oh my god Hazard for 4 million oh that's alright Hazard going once oh dear going twice do you want KDB for Hazard should we do a transfer window as well now

1:50:45Theo:I could have bidded for Hazard then, offered you Sterling. We'll do negotiations off screen. We'll do some talking behind the scenes. How much have you got left? I've got three million from the last player. Oh, that's a good little shootout now. Shootout! Oh, you both have three million for a defender and a forward? No. One player left. David Silva. Three million. Three million. I'll take him. I don't want to take a risk. I'll play him out on the right. I don't have a choice. I've got no money. I'll tell you what, I'm going to play Gerrard out on the right, David Silva centrally. Nice. He's kind of ideal for what I needed there.

1:51:17Well, we both only had three as we hit. Rude, really. Yes!

1:51:22Theo:Your formations are fucked. Whose are? Well, I suppose I'll take whoever you're about to say for£3 million, please. Charlie Allen. It's not even, yeah, whatever. I mean, it works in your team. I don't know what. Do you know what, actually? This would have worked out if Reeve didn't buy 20 forwards. Yeah, you... Yeah, but I was... Sortering. I was bumping people up and then no one outbid me.

1:51:46Lewis Bowden:That's not my fault. It's not good bumping up though. Yeah, you were bidding for players you didn't need. I wouldn't leave players. I'm like, well, he just doesn't even need them.

1:51:56Theo:Hell of a fucking line-up. Right, let's have your team for the boys. Ignore the formation. So start with Theo. Theo, you spent 96 million, 94 million, so had six million left. Let's see your team. Ingar got Johar, back four of Kyle Walker, Vidic, Maguire and Evra, midfield of Yaya Toure, Alonso Ozil and a front three Salah Torres and Sterling it's a lazy midfield fucking very slow yeah he's a runner he's a lazy bastard I believe I spent every penny you're trying to start putting feelings in

1:52:24Lewis Bowden:I think I did as well

1:52:25Theo:yeah I spent everything I spent every penny double check this in case he went over budget here

1:52:30Lewis Bowden:yeah he's counting as well I think he did spend just like the right amount just about the right amount check and goal with Neville Phil Jones Stones and Ashley Cole and then we got Gerrard playing right mid 4-4-2 just like in the old days. David Silva, Bruno Fernandes and Hazard on the left and then up front. That's a hard-working midfield. That's a lazy midfield. And then Van Persie and Vardy. That defence is going to play for the midfield. It's so much work. I could put Gerrard in central if I wanted to. Who's going to go off the right? David Silva. No, surely you'd put... Oh yeah, or Fernandes maybe off the right.

1:53:06Lewis Bowden:He's done that before. Anything United. I feel like I'm more inclined to put David Silva on the right and then have Gerrard there and he'll be my workhorse. That midfield's getting over. Nah, Gerrard workhorse, mate, and Screamers. Oh, and Screamers. Yeah, yeah. Well, I've got your tour here

1:53:20Theo:for Screamers as well. Nah. What memory? Right, we've got... You've got to explain your formation. We're playing 3-5-2. 3-5-2? David James in goal. A completely Liverpool backline of Carragher, Van Dijk, Leighton Baines. That's their synergy there. They've been Moseyside for a while. Leighton Baines at centre-back. Yeah, left-sided tenor back. That's fine. Who's your wing back? We've got David Beckham, right wing back. Thierry Henry, left wing back.

1:53:49Lewis Bowden:That shouldn't be allowed. That is a criminal. This is a crime against football.

1:53:53Theo:And then obviously, midfield three of Essien, Rooney and Charlie Adam. And then Charlie Adam at left wing back? Kane and Crouch up top. Where's he going to put Henry? I don't think that's... How many strikers have you actually got? Four. Four. And they're all like out and out. The first two, you stop buying. And they're all actually probably number nines as well, yeah.

1:54:11Lewis Bowden:Right, mine is Given, Trent, Cale, then Distan and Koncheski. Holding up my left-hand side. Then I've got Barry, Kante, De Bruyne, Cale, and then Drogba and Ronaldo. Very narrow. I mean, yeah. I think it goes me, Theo, Tom, Reeve. You? Yours ain't first, mate. Genuinely, I actually think it might.

1:54:34Theo:It has no balance. Yeah, it does. I reckon on the 38th this team's scoring like 150 goals I think my team is the only team that actually has the players all 11 are playing in their position

1:54:44Lewis Bowden:no I do as well oh yeah

1:54:47Theo:just a narrow version it's just a 4-1-2-1-2 just shit players in defence a little bit these Stan and Kocoski have killed me a bit the rest are good Premier League Ronaldo up front he was a winger he'll run the wings yeah he can stretch wide

1:55:00Lewis Bowden:from a big striker nah that was really good guys yeah I actually quite enjoyed that you made that really funny thank you it's the first time we've done it so if anybody wants by now we know yeah I think it's fine just next time yeah the first time I wanted a bit of a free for all who spent the most on singular play I think I spent the most 27 on Ronaldo

1:55:23Theo:my most expensive player was Yaya Torre for 15 million here we can tell by your team I can literally have the best team no yours is better I dropped 40 million on Van Dijk and Thierry Henry so Actually I dropped 55 million To play him at left wing back

1:55:39Lewis Bowden:Omri for 18 I got De Bruyne for 18 What was the biggest bargain? Hazard for 4 mil David Silva for 3 Yeah that's crazy Phil Jones for 1 Kaczewski for 1 Sterling for 7 Who's the biggest rip off?

1:55:56Walker 40 million Core 40 million Check 15 I feel like check 15

1:56:00Theo:But Walker's the best Right back in Premier League That's a lot though Is he now? A good keeper He's probably the best keeper that was on offer. He was the best keeper on offer, but he wasn't playing that much time for a goal. He's a bit over the top, isn't he? I still think it's fine. The way it's worked out. Check for 15 is a lot, yeah. I think that's fucking BSWAT. Gerald for 18. Gerald for 18. The biggest bargains were the ones where people couldn't bid on them. What were the actual biggest bargains? Hazard. Yeah, but that's because nobody could bid on him. I'm saying in terms of an actual bidding war.

1:56:27Theo:Sterling for seven? Or was that? Well, no, because it was only between you and Liverpool. It could be Maguire for one. Ever for six. Here we go, lads. No, Neville for six. Stanley just asked AI to say, put these four teams in a competition. All played to the twice. So at bottom of the table, winning none, drawn two, scoring 10, consisting 15, is Lewis. You got no balance, bro. Reeve comes in third with one win, two draws. How does Reeve team finish from me? I was throwing you a bonus. Theo second. Yes! Three wins, two draws, one loss. And doing an invincible season. Yeah! With Distan and Koncheski.

1:57:11Lewis Bowden:They're not that bad. See, this time do it without chatting shit. Listen, Tom and Theo were level on 11 points going into match day six and Tom beat them. What was the score? I'll ask. It's just trying to make a storyline, isn't it? The fucking robot. Mine is the most balanced though, really.

1:57:25Theo:I can blast behind this thing. I'm lucky, mate. Yeah, I'll tell you where you had the most balance. It was just narrow. Oh, here we go. Dead workers, dead work though. Game D1, Theo 2, Lewis 1, Reeve 2, Tom 2. Then match D2, Tom 3, Lewis 1, Reeve 1, Theo 2. Then it came Theo 1, Tom 1. We drew. Tom dropped points there, mate. Wait, so me and Tom drew? Yeah. Lewis 2, Reeve 3. I told you when I scored you, mate. I mean, Lewis lost the first three. Then Lewis gets his first point, 2-2 with Theo. Tom beats Reeve 2, 1. Lou 1, Tom 2, Theo 3, Reeve 1. Tom V Thiel whoever wins this wins it 2-1 to Tom 3-3 Lewis 3-3 Ronaldo with the winner was it a 90th minute winner?

1:58:07Theo:it's probably Drogba it shows up in the big game Lewis team didn't win one game I've got the best team mate you should actually do that more often you know that's quite good have the squad shape up Tom, Canty and Barry protect the back four De Bruyne feeds Ronaldo and Drogba the Span is the best in the league did this down in Koncheski get exposed? Thiel has had the most complete 11 Vinicius never at the back Turi Alonso and Ozil midfield and Salah Torres down up front. It has no real weak link apart from Hart. But he also had six million left unspent which may have cost him the title. Oh, good point.

1:58:39Reeve has the best centre-back pair apparently. I just didn't even put mine in formation. I'm free to back. Do you know what I mean? Chatsby T's confused at what you were doing. They'd probably put Beckham at Roy back. Reeve has the best games because every game just turns into chaos. Yeah. Why is this really accurate? Lou has the weakest team. Check keeps the scores respectable. How's my team? What the fuck? Because you've got

1:59:02Lewis Bowden:like four tens in midfield. But they can't get the ball. We've got tons of tens. Who gives them the ball? Phil George. Congratulations to Cristiano Ronaldo who wins the golden boot with five. Right, well there we have it. Money well spent. There we have it. And hey, that's why AI is good for the show. Exactly. Point proven. What point? After that carnage and chaos. Right, make sure you like, subscribe, comment who you think are the best team and comment if you want us to do it again maybe we do like an international version i don't know or champions league version let us know uh right five stars and struck a fight out my ass
