In short

Premier League review and debates on form, relegation survival, title contenders, managerial sackings, and transfer/selection questions. They also discuss specific match talking points: Man United’s win over Liverpool at Anfield (first Liverpool home league winless run since Jan 2016), Palace vs Bournemouth (3-3), Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest (3-0 and Forest’s rapid managerial change), and Arsenal’s VAR/penalty controversy plus striker form.

Guest backgrounds

Reeve, Thea Baker, and Tom Garrett are the regular hosts of Pitchside. The transcript shows them as football-focused presenters who argue club-by-club and season predictions; no external guest identities are named.

Key claims

  • “Bogy team” pattern: Man United have been a bogey for Liverpool; Brighton a bogey for Arsenal; Fulham a bogey for Arsenal; Man United’s Anfield win is framed as overdue.
  • Wolves are “stupidly shit” and could face a long winless run; Burnley are good at home but likely not to stay up.
  • Sunderland are seen as better than their reputation and likely to survive despite a tough fixture run.
  • Bournemouth look strong and consistent; discussion whether they can reach Europe/possibly Champions League.
  • Liverpool’s problems are described as cumulative (confidence, creativity, midfield/off-ball issues, set-piece defending, and squad transition).
  • Slot is criticized for excuses after losing to Man United (including comments about Cesc/rotation and set-piece/low-block narratives).

Notable examples

  • Volta Marders “sensational” goal vs Newcastle; Mateta’s 3.5 xG in Palace’s 3-3; Chelsea’s red card for Forest; Forest’s “39 days” managerial sacking; Arsenal’s VAR decision debate; Haaland’s early-season scoring dominance; discussion of Welbeck vs other third-choice strikers.

0:00Welcome to a new episode of Pitchside with me, Reeve, Thea Baker and Tom Garrett. If you haven't already hit follow, why not tap that button right now for new episodes every week? And if you want more Pitchside, catch us on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram where you can find us by typing in Pitchside. Let's get into it. Time to put you in on a little secret, guys. So we decided to record Monday morning sharp at 9am because Tom Garrett has to leave at 11. What's the current time, guys? 9.45. 9.45am. Still not here as well. He's still not here. So he's going to be an hour late. Yeah, I think he might be more.

0:38We have to come up with something for today's show that puts him in a bit of a punishment. He's already going to be angry. I'd say prepare for a very angry Tom Garrett this episode for something that's completely his own doing. Yeah, but what can we do? What can we do, guys? You can't get him on the whole like, oh, that's the wrong player. Yeah, he doesn't value our opinion. Yeah, he doesn't really like any of us. Why don't you just have no reaction to anything he says? Oh, okay. Oh my God, yeah. He would hate that. Instead of us pushing back on whatever Tom says, because that's where he gets his kicks, we're going to give him no reaction to anything he says.

1:11Ever. Yeah. So we just go, oh, that's actually really good, mate. Yeah, keep going. And then we just move the conversation. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We basically... Shut up out the oversold. You should sit one shoulder up. You know, like this. Just block him off. Okay, we could... Yeah, let's try that and see if he figures it out, I suppose. Welcome back to Pitchside. and welcome back to my favourite part of the show every single week, which is a new segment I like to call

1:43Premier League Review. We don't discriminate on this channel and we're going to be discussing all football teams in the Premier League. Other than the ones that are playing tonight because it's Monday. So West Ham and Brimford. That is true. We should preface that. But we want to say congratulations to Paqueta for scoring a hat trick tonight. and getting me lots of FPL points. No, but seriously though, guys, what do you think of Burnley? Burnley were good. I mean, they're good at home, aren't they? Leeds were shocking. So Reeve told me a stat recently, Tom. I don't know if you can confirm nor deny it.

2:19Is every promoted team is undefeated at home this season? I didn't say that at all. Yeah, you did. Yeah, you did. Yeah, you did. You said it as soon as you walked in. You literally said that as soon as you walked in. I don't know. What? yeah Leeds have lost haven't they well Reeves stat is wrong hang on what's happening here do you think it was goal of the season in the Berlin game Tumor so far yeah it could be nah Richarlison's what the lights a kick that was better what first game wasn't it was it first game that's it Volta Marder's goal was better oh that is actually a good shout what's harder Tumor or Volta Marder there's Burnley one which are you on about the back heel yeah yeah Oh, definitely the Burnley one.

3:02Come on. I was just asking. You hit it from 30 yards. Just asking. It's a shit pingo, isn't it? Do you think Burnley will stay up? No. No.

3:16Keep going, man. Keep going. Come on, you got this. Do you think Wolves will stay up? Hopefully not. They're fucking shit, them, by the way. They're actually stupidly shit. Use the shit. Do me head in. Just get them sacked and get someone else in. I was projecting a little bit because of how bad you were at the weekend too. No, we're not that shit though. We're not that, like what the fuck are they playing at? I will say, this weekend, it felt like a lot of teams were playing their bogey team. Do you know what I mean? Fulham have always been a bit of a bogey, not quite West Ham level, but have normally been a bit of a bogey team for Arsenal.

3:48Brighton always been a bit of a bogey team for you. Oh yeah, they always do us. Man United always been a bit of a bogey team for Liverpool. What? They haven't, it's been since 2016 they beat Liverpool at Anfield. They haven't won there in 10 years. It was a bogey team though. No, definitely don't think. Yeah, but at Old Trafford. No. They weren't playing, but also that's irrelevant because they were at Anfield. There is obviously, it's the first win at Anfield since January 2016 happened yesterday, but it feels like a bogey team. We've just said that. You can't just read it off the prep sheet.

4:17Are we brushing over the Wolves-Burnley fixture that's about to occur? That was critical. Yeah, it's like a huge six-pointer, mate, isn't it? We've mentioned about teams. He's got to go. He's got to go. I mean, I mean, Will's convinced they won't win a game for the rest of the year. Get Teddy Connor back in or get bullied and score some goals down the Molineux, eh? You did say at the weekend, though, if Vito stays in charge, you will... Vito. It's not Vito Manone, is it? That's true. Fucking hell. It's just so over the top. I think what he was going to say is, Will, if you don't win, just sack him.

4:54A draw, what about if you draw? You've got to win, haven't you? I'd get rid of him if we didn't win. You can still that. Would you get rid of him even if you won? Sign a contract. Are you okay? Yeah, I know. He's going to be a big payout, isn't he? That's all your profit from the summer gone if you have to sack him. It's not just his fault. I was going to say, it's not only him, is it? No, but he's got the players. He needs to get the best out of them, doesn't he? Your depth is shocking, though, isn't it? Awful. I feel like with Wolves, any time you get a chance, it's like dropping to a centre-half or a week.

5:25Minetsi always drops to Minetsi, doesn't it? Minetzi plays like he's running on ping pong what they're called ping pong sticks what's it he's just all over the show so what do you think the main problem was the weekend there's no belief not getting any service to Strand Larson no belief he's not in the game at all I believe that we will win it's actually just painful to watch I mean it does get to show him is there anything good about your club at the moment like he seems alright cool they're the only ones who wear orange it is depressing over there yeah they're on two points so we didn't win our first seven last year did we so yeah I do feel like this year the three I mean especially Sunderland though Sunderland are fucking mate they're safe no they're not they're already safe they weren't that good either Sunderland will that's how shit yous are how can they play bad and still fucking oh yous do me heading sorry oh what because they're relegation contenders with you yeah at the moment no fucking just It's like, how's Sunderland got this many points?

6:27Well, they're a lot better team than you are. Yeah, they're on 14. Yeah. Let's do me heading. Are they in the title? Are they in the title race, Sunderland? How many points off the top, are they? No, no. Are they in the title race? Well, they're in the race, yeah. You're not out of the race until you're 10 points away. They do go into a bit of a sticky patch fixture-wise, though. Yeah, and hopefully... Chelsea next, aren't they? They have had a favourable-ish start. I do think they're riding on a bit of a wave at the minute. The thing is, though, that's what keeps you up. Make the most of it whilst it's happening.

6:54get lucky that's how you survive innit yeah but it never lasts the whole season I know but like Blackpool did it Luton did it they all ride away even then it just crumbles they're milking it you'd be more confident in this Sunderland team though than Luton I just feel to finish top half that time were Luton 14 points after 8 games that's what I mean I can't be right I feel like Sunderland have had a great start I just think they're going to be fine they will get found out they'll be able to scrape the way from this position you say that mate if Sunderland lose 3 in a row you watch it turn you watch the players lose confidence and they're just like Well, that's what we weren't saying.

7:25Once it goes bad, hold your turn around. Five out of their next seven games are literally the top of the family. Yeah, that's a tough set of fixtures coming right up. The thing is like, they've got to play City twice in December. But like Everton at home, they can steal something there as well. That's winnable, yeah. And then Bournemouth, any home game, you're fancying for them to drip feed some points in and then that can keep them on. Obviously, they're at home to you lots. That's a win as well, the 14th. It'd be a big game, that. Hopefully, we sort ourselves out by then. We're streaming that one, aren't we?

7:50We are. Is that on the Sunday? I can't think of anywhere less want to watch that game than like here oh fuck you've got to get a Sunderland shirt for that game it's going to be fucking get me a Kevin Phillips one do you think Sunderland will beat Newcastle no I think we're we're not as bad as like what's being made out we're just we have some problems we need to sort out well you know what speaking of problems obviously I know you talk about Newcastle I was going to say yeah speaking of problems Valtimard's goal was sensational I would say he's pretty good isn't he but all for nothing because you lost yeah again yeah it's the first time bogey team yeah Brighton are a bogey team but it's not really I don't know just creatively it's just like Volman is feeding off scraps and we're not Gordon isn't making anything Alanga's not making anything you failed to win any of your four opening away yeah one of their I think it was their basically you're just they got to travel a long way their second goal their second goal it was one pass and they beat our midfield three with one pass just through the centre of them all the first goal wasn't great was it Bottman yeah so it's just well taken from that guy Yeah, it was a good thing.

8:52I'm not worried, because we were 12th last season, I was saying, at Christmas last year, and we finished Champions League with a trophy. Nah, we'll sort it out. It's just like, I feel like we need to... Do you actually think you will, though? Like, genuinely? We've always managed to sort it out. Like I said, we were 12th last season, halfway through, and we finished the Champions League. Yeah, but last season, you didn't have the extra games. And you had the best striker in the league at that point. That's true. I feel like we'll... And yeah, you had Mr. Alexander. You know... I know, but Volman is filling that hole pretty fucking well at the moment.

9:20he's scoring but he doesn't offer as much as Isaac did did he? does he? I don't I disagree a little bit the way he's a little player at the moment he's actually really good I feel like it's the players around who aren't doing their jobs Eddie Howell's saying himself we need more goals and assists from other areas of the pitch it can't just be Volta Marder to get us a goal are we not doing a bit of disrespect to the old Seagulls here because they're just so volatile Brighton away is somewhere we'd hoped that game at 1-1 we were also having our own chances and it's again us losing out on those moments at the end of the game Brian's a tough place to go Danny Welbeck that guy surely Belieber was good as well actually for Brian in the weekend bullied the fuck out for Welbeck I know he's like old but he's so consistent he's do not if you fucking say England I'm going to shoot you in the face why not if he continues why not tell me why not name one reason why not because we've got better players than him and he's way past who's a better third choice striker even at his peak who's a better third choice striker than Welbeck right now you'd rather bring like a young um Tony get some experience Fit Liam Delaney you'd rather take Tony right now than Welbeck yeah or DeLapp yeah you would man come on third choice striker you want to bring a younger striker who's going to get a bit more even Rashford if you wanted to play I'd rather Bowen down the middle like come on 15 goals a season for Welbeck would you take him he's not going to get 15 goals he's only brought double digits once wouldn't that be record goalscoring season.

10:50Yeah, like 36. Yeah, but it's an unrealistic question, isn't it? I'm just asking. I'm just here to poke questions. No, no, but you do that. But what's your thought? Do you think we should bring Welbeck if he... I don't think you should write him out. No, that's not answering the question. Do you think we should bring him? In this current state right now? Yeah. No, but if... So in this current state where he's playing really well? No, but I think... We're only in October here, but he continues. What does he offer that's different to someone else in that third point choice? experience, reliability, consistency.

11:21He's got no experience at major tournaments. Talk about just like footballing experience, intelligence. Like, you need to bring someone on who needs to maybe hold the ball up. Well, just have a bit of composure up there. I think he could definitely offer a job. Better than a Tony or a Watkins or a Dalat. I'm not saying a Watkins. No, Watkins is obviously on the plane. All right, so you'd rather bring on Danny Welbeck than Ivan Tony. I mean, right now, name what's Ivan Tony done this season. Obviously, we don't watch Ivan Tony, but I've watched him play football. I know he's a better footballer than Danny Welbe.

11:50Danny Welbe couldn't get an England team at his best. So why are we now thinking about him at 36? How do you know this isn't his best now? Which is a fair point to argue. I don't think it's out of the question. Name one footballer in history that was at his best at 36. Well, you could argue he's done his best goal tally last season. Ronaldo. But I still wouldn't take him. Oh, no, man. He's still not in the question, is he? Brad Friedman. No, it's nice. It's nice to be, you know, like fantastical about these things, but he's not going to go, is he? We're wasting time talking about that. Imagine he goes.

12:18I think he's just... No, because you take youth in that position anyway, don't you? It's not like... You don't need to experience in the third-choice striker spot. You're going to get enough from Osweiler on the pitch. Harry Kane, for example, you've got way more experience than... And he's the first-choice striker. Well, yeah, I know. Harry Kane's obviously going to play. So you want to take off Harry Kane for an experienced striker? I was just asking, as the host of this show... I don't hear anyone else asking intriguing questions. That's not intriguing! We were actually on about Newcastle and you started talking about Danny Welbeck for England.

12:51I've been curious to hear actually because we often poke fun at Newcastle and I understandably so because of me. What are your thoughts on Newcastle at the moment? You're just not as good as you think you are. You're just not as good as you think you are. No, no, you're bringing me into that. I think you have a lot of players who are severely underperforming. You don't have... Especially in midfield. Well, even, I mean, like you had a generational run from Jacob Murphy last season who contributed a lot. You don't really have the same firepower up front anymore. You're kind of relying on your brand new striker to do everything.

13:17Gordon Alangarov. Gordon's not been doing it. Your midfield's looking pretty poor. Tonali's kind of... You've had a few injuries at the back. Tonali's been good. Tonali and Bruno have been good. I'm saying he's the... Like him and Bruno. Jolinton's been shocking. Yeah, he's off the ball. And then you have a back line that keeps changing every two games. No, that's not true. It's changed once because of injury. Our back line is the one... Your back four is not your best back four. It is. Mine is Dan Burton. Our defence is our one point where we can cling to. Like the clean sheets we've kept away from Hawthorne.

13:46Lewis Hall and Liverpool were two of your better players last season. Neither of those are playing though. Liverpool's injured and so's Lewis Hall. That's exactly the point I'm making. I know, but like I feel like saying the creativity side, I completely agree, but like the back line, our defence has been our strongest part of our team. Give you a losing games. Yeah, I force it. Three clean sheets in three and away fixtures. Obviously they were nil-nils, but our defence is doing, our defence is like the second, third best of season. Yeah, it's not the defence. It's not, it's like you can't create it.

14:14I feel like you've got to take Joel in and out and play Ramsey now he's back because he's a bit of a creative spark is he injury free now is he looking good he's back now but yeah it's fucking you need to get Alanga out of the team yeah well he got hooked at half time this time Alanga's no good man he's got the attributes to click but it's it was true Jordy you said actually where it's like we've got too many athletes and it's not like footballing like it depends how you want to play if you're now trying to transition into a team that are like a sustained top 40 this is my whole point about Nottingham Forest last year about it's okay counter, it's like Palace, it's okay to counter-attack and beat teams in a certain way when you're a certain level.

14:51As soon as you have to be the big boy and dominate games, dominate possession, you'll get found out because Joe Linton's not good enough on the ball. Alanga's not good enough on the ball. Even Jacob Murphy's really not. Gordon's more like, Gordon is technical but I mean like he's not, I'd describe him more of an athlete than a technical player. So it's like, you are going to get found out against teams like Brighton who pass the ball so well and are so technical because they just keep the ball off you. it's tough it's a tough place to go what do you even give the problem at? I think you've got to bring Joe Linton out just at the moment and just because if you're going to take anyone out midfielder team and you bring in the creativity of Ramsey and then you've got the thing is fucking hell I can't start I don't want to start either Alanga or Murphy on the right at the moment what about Barnes?

15:36we've tried Gordon on left Barnes on right Gordon on right Barnes on left we've tried it and it didn't work last season that's when Murphy came in and went on the right we've tried that last year and that's when Murphy came in and started playing very well I find it mad that Barnes can't like he should be starting for you well what was what apparently happened was at the end of last season because we ended last season really badly and like apparently in the preseason we had like a back to basics sort of fundamentals thing and then like in the press it's been saying like that's why defensively basics are good but there's just zero creativity could it be the curse of two games a week Lewis Bowden or not I don't think that's really been an issue but fucking hopefully we beat Benfica and then Fulham because we We need to get some wins.

16:14When that's... Is Champions League this week? Yeah. Benfica at all. You're in trouble, man, with these games starting because your depth is poor. Yeah. I think we'll be fine against Benfica. Oh, I think you'll count your lucky stars there, son. Game of the weekend for me, Palace Bournemouth, 3-3. Oh, yeah, sorry. Man United was good, though. It was a good game. It was a good game. Palace Bournemouth, though. Mateta, proven once again... He could have scored six. You know, individually, he racked up 3.5 xG. Should have had three and a half goals. That's insane. That's like more than... I've just said he goes to six and you go, well, yeah, that's a 3.5 extreme.

16:51Yeah, we can see he missed good chances. Also, Creepy. Where's he come from? Oh, no. Who the fuck is Creepy? Have you seen... What's your thoughts on all this Mateta-Zaha fucking back and forth? Yeah, it's not cool, man. I haven't seen anything. Zaha was basically saying like... Mateta was basically said that he could get in the French team back in the day and Zaha would just like laugh at him. but it wasn't that a Pat Zaha came I was like it was just we were in the trade room having Banta and we're laughing on saying you're not in the Palace team at the moment mate so and it was like a little crack and Mateta's obviously held on to that throughout this time he said to Mateta you're not in the Palace team no that's way back in the day back in the day like he said Mateta's like I'm going to get in the French team and I was like that's when Mateta started his villain I thought you meant he said it now nah oh just handle a bit of Banta man oh right so he's Mateta's crying about something he said before yeah when he was like just started it sounded like it was banter but he took it personally and went on his villain arc and decided to become third best striker in the league that's what Michael Jordan would do yeah I'd take that shit personally yeah yeah yeah um Crystal Palace though good comeback to be fair against a good team and forgetting Bournemouth is still third in the league and even good it was a good comeback from both because once he went 2-2 I thought but there's only one winner.

18:13And then Bournemouth come back again, Ryan Christie, didn't they? But Bournemouth are just a good team. They're two really good teams, actually. Are they going to struggle to keep Iriola, though? I don't know. I think he likes the project. Yeah, I feel like Glasner and Iriola are pretty happy. I think Glasner's the more risky one because it's like... Yeah, but they've got Europe. That is the thing, but I think he needs to get a bit of backing now. I feel like they're going to have to invest in Europe. What about Europe? Don't do that. As a certain creator says. but it seems like they're all invested in Bournemouth like all the players like Semeniel's probably going to stay his fucking release cause like 100 million or something we'll pay that I don't think anyone's going to pay that for him I think he'll stay I think he will and I hope he does I hope they go for it I think Arsenal will pay it in Harlan right it is a shame for clubs like that because it's happened it's the way of the world it is it is tough if Arsenal win the league they're dropping 100 million on Semeniel okay okay I fucked myself How good are Crystal Palace and Bournemouth?

19:13Can Bournemouth get Europe? Yeah What kind of Europe? I mean, Europa, max Why? Because there's better teams Let me tell you about a little team called Leicester City Oh God, do we have to do this every episode? Bournemouth just looks so Consistent, strong, solid I'll tell you why they're not going to get Europe The exact way they threw it away the weekend as good as they are they've got that in them they've only lost one game this season they're tuning up there a Chelsea see that out don't they well not necessarily teams have lost and come back from different variations throughout their history as well but Bournemouth have only lost one game this season yeah mate they're a good side and that was the first one against Liverpool and they gave them a game yeah they're a good side you ask me a question I don't think they will I don't want these two if they want to chime in they can I'm not thinking about it what about Manchester City what about them are they legit title contenders now yes they have to be more than more than Liverpool I'd be fucked right I think I'm starting to think I think City don't do it I'm starting to think Arsenal might win wait you think you've changed allegiances Liverpool might win the league no Arsenal might do it if we don't Arsenal are definitely going to win the league don't say that why would you say that I feel like this is your year But I really like how just quietly City are just every week.

20:41It would be very funny if they do it again. Or just another comfortable win for Man City. It's all right when you have Haaland and Donnarumma, isn't it? It's the Donnarumma effect. Oh, Donnarumma. Yeah, because you spent no money on that. Oh, Michael. Don't take everything so serious, man. Might have fun at games. Like, Erling Haaland's clearly just like a road. You spent more on Jokers than they did on Haaland. Oh, don't. I can't wait to talk about Jokers, by the way. Fucking hell. Trampoline foot. Jesus. Do you see the court where he's like, I said to Jokeres before he came, I need a striker who, when he doesn't score in eight games, he keeps trying.

21:15I'm like, of course you sign Jokeres then. Of course it's only Arsenal who would sign a striker who they're expecting. I wouldn't go to my striker on the other side. He said he wants a striker who can go seven games without scoring. Why would you say that? It's like, what are you doing? Just don't say anything. Working. Is it working? Yeah, it is working because he's not scoring. Top of the league and favourites to everything. He has a scoring. He's got exactly what he went to buy I think it's working Top of the league Winning everything We'll get on to Arsenal Earning Haaland though I saw a stat They were thinking about Whether they think Bournemouth can get Champions League I think Bournemouth are right The discussion was Europe I think they get Europe I think they can get Champions League Do I think Bournemouth Will finish in the top 7 In the Premier League this season Yeah probably I can see them finish in top 4 I think they can do it I think they can do it Right if you think about it Right Chelsea Again they have a good system Chelsea can stink it and Mureski will be getting sacked What are you on about?

22:09All I'm saying is the Premier League is always the Premier League's never straightforward you always look at the fucking table at the end of the season and there's something mental that happens now it's not a question of if something mental happens something mental is going to be in this table What was it last year? Tottenham and Man United way down there's always something fucking dodgy happening so the question is what is it? Okay so if Bournemouth are going to get Champions League who's going to drop out? Chelsea. Chelsea and Newcastle aren't going to get Champions League. In the scenario that Bournemouth do it, you'd expect a Newcastle to drop out.

22:41They'd be taking a Newcastle split. conference league? That would make me sick, yeah. Interesting. Anyway. Can you bring up that Erling Haaland stat, mate, for his first few games in every season? Do you know who Haaland reminds me of, weirdly, from a different sport? Verstappen. Like a bit, like the ruthlessness and like fucking cockiness of him. And he is just like the best as well. That's not a bad shout. It's not a bad shout. Like the mentality. Well, yeah, so the... I'd say that's more like Ronaldo. Verstappen. Yeah. And then Hamilton's more like Messi. No, Verstappen, if he got to like 40 and was playing in go-kart and racing, he wouldn't be convincing himself he's still the best.

23:24He'd be like, I'm hanging up with this. Erling Haaland occupies the top three slots in the faster places of double figures. per season. I saw that did that on... This guy is not real. Is he going to break Alan Shearer's record next year? He's on 96 already. He's four away from the 100. He'll definitely do it, yeah. Is that what, three years? It all depends if he stays. We are nearing in on someone taking that record. If Kane comes back and then Haaland's there, it's going to go, isn't it? In this crop of players. Yeah, and then we can stop talking about Shearer being one of the best strikers of all time.

23:54Thank you. Clip resurfaced again the other day where he said Shearer wasn't world class. Who did? Tom. Well he says a lot of shit And gets away with it It was mental Do you actually still think that? Not in my lifetime He wasn't Do you think Shiro Was world class? Not in my lifetime No that's not the question Just full stop I don't know No because we say Pelle Would you think Pelle is world class? Again I don't really know Oh what Shut up Such a cop out Obviously Pelle was world class In his time I'd have to look back And look at the strikers That were around in 96 I can't remember Can't you just go off Like what people said I can't remember I don't know Yeah Maradona world class I mean yeah but Shiro You weren't around.

24:30How do you know that? He was very well regarded as the best player in the world. Shearer wasn't. I've just said that about Pele. Shearer came third in the Ballon d 'Or. You agreed instantly with Ballon d 'Or. That's the definition of world class. I come third in the Ballon d 'Or. He's the best in the world. He's Jorginho world class. At that time, maybe so. Fuck off. At that time, maybe so. About Italian sentiment. 1996 Ballon d 'Or. I can't believe how he's skating her out. You know he is. You know he is I don't He fucking does He's just The head of Del Piero I put Shearer on the same Like Klinsmann I don't know if Klinsmann Was well class You know Shearer was well class You do I know why are we talking about Why are we talking about Shearer at well class I just wanted to see If he's still stuck by it Other games that featured At the weekend Obviously Were Chelsea beating Forest 3-0 Gustav getting a red card Out of nowhere as well That's one of the stupidest Things I've ever seen I've never seen I've never seen Chelsea red Forest Should have fucking like Won that game half time two goals before Chelsea even scored.

25:29Yeah, they just weren't clinical at all. And it paid dividends, actually. And so much so, the fastest managerial sacking in the Premier League. Yeah, I feel for them. Permanent managerial sacking in the Premier League. I feel for them. 39 days. I don't think the fucking team helped them out, really. The fucking missing chances. There's only so much you can do when you're changing an entire philosophy of a club. But you could do with the players actually finishing a fucking chance. It's not his fault, is it? It's the Maranacos. Fuck, I just said. Yeah, but it was... Yeah, don't point to think of it.

25:58It's just a terrible appointment. It was deemed to fail a little bit. I called it from the start. You guys laughed at me. I said it'd be an awful appointment. Why do you... I hate when you say that. Why are you getting so angry? Because we actually didn't. I think he may have. I said he... I said... I never said he would do well in a cup. You didn't. I said he'd win a cup. You were trying to give him longer time. I said he'd win a cup. Yeah, if you were in charge of the board at Nottingham Forest, he'd still be in a job. Yeah. You were like giving the benefit. I could give him more time. Why? God's like, fuck it.

Read the full transcript

26:22You've hired him now. You hired him to win a trophy. They've tried to change the entire philosophy of the club. You are. Do you not think there was improvements against Chelsea? I agree with that. But if you're going to do that, you have to give the person time to implement the change of philosophy. You are stupid enough to go with such a change of philosophy mid-season. Wait, hang on. You have to give that person time. When you say, who are you referring to then? Mr. Maranacus. I'm calling you out. Louis, they're on five points, mate. No, but that's what I'm like. Louis, you could have given him more time.

26:49and then by December they're on six points and they're fucked. I believe Mr. Maranakas. Did you see Ange in the Premier League last year? I've seen him winning a European trophy. Isn't it something like he's lost 31 out of 50 Premier League games? He's not very insane. He won a trophy. You were talking about the Premier League. He has done well in the Premier League. He did well in the season before. I do think he finished fifth. He finished fifth first. Which by the way is a very good finish. But what happened since then? Do you know what I mean? You won a trophy. You won a trophy. You won a trophy in the Premier League coming out.

27:16No, but you're saying what happened since and then you cut out this major thing that he did. Yeah, Forrest Wernin, like, what's Arteta done except from, like, do really well with Arsenal? You're cutting it out, cutting out all the stuff. What's Arteta done except from the Premier League? So why is it worth out Forrest then? What's Arteta done except from the Premier League? No, we're talking about Premier League right now, Lewis Bowden. What's the question? Ange in the Premier League, is it just like, it's just, his way of playing is just so difficult to get right? I don't, no, no, I think there's context.

27:45There's context. We all know why Spurs finished where they finished last year and he even come out and said it the other day that they fucked the league off to win the Europa League and it worked but he must see the players at Forest and be like they've got such a different thing that's his way of playing he would have said this is my way of playing this is what I'm going to play he must have thought that he had the players to do it they were better against Chelsea his system is very personal dependent isn't it it did not work though it was never going to work in eight games time especially with how fast those games were coming and how limited time, like they were having midweek fixtures, how limited time they would have had to work on stuff.

28:20It was never going to just click like that. 3-0 wasn't a fair reflection of that game. Exactly like, that's what I mean, where the players let him down a bit there. But also then his lack of, his naivety with defending set pieces is just shocking and he just well they might get out real set pieces soon if slot get his worth. Yeah well speaking of which actually Lewis's biggest hate of someone has turned from Arteta to Arnish Slott. He's a big, bold twat. Whoa. Oh my God. I'm sorry. There's certain managers who come into the league and are just genuinely unbearable. Klopp was one and he got his way and got the rules changed instead of just like doing what any other manager does and rotate his team.

29:03No, but you're not allowed to rotate against Liverpool. No, yeah. What we have to do is cater to the big teams even more and change the rules for them. I just don't get it. Let's go start every game and then why would you not start against Sarf? I just don't understand it. Yeah, so Slott, he was crying about it against us then he was talking about Arsenal recently saying how you have to remember 60 % of their goals are from set pieces as if that's a slant that yous are really good at set pieces and how did they beat Arsenal? Set pieces? Yeah and then after this game he said what was it you know Man United even played Sesco for the last five, six games and they didn't play him against us and that's not the first time that's happened this season oh my god sorry Slott we changed our tactics to fucking beat you God forbid a manager swap his tactics out What?

29:47Whoa. Is that not just him giving a reason as to what may have gone wrong? Are you serious? I haven't seen the interview but I don't know what he said. No, then he's on about them playing with... Even that giving as a reason, like, fuck hell, you didn't start Sesco against us. Fuck me. No, then he's on about playing about the tight and they come with a low block and I'm like, just shut up. Always an excuse. It's an excuse of an excuse of an excuse instead of being held accountable. It's an excuse. We know what you're doing. We know what you're doing. Look at that, mate. It's fucking embarrassing.

30:14Own up that you got handed to by a Pua Man United. He can't take losing. You got handed to at Anfield for the first time in 10 years. I don't think that's that crazy of a thing to say. It's his own fault as well. If Arteta said that, fucking hell, there'd be a bomb going off. Yes, Arnest Lott said. Actually, you can say it. We've seen Benjamin Chisko play the last three, four, five or six games, but they go to Liverpool, they change the line-up. That's not the first time he faced a team and they've done that. Oh my God, he's just discovered that you can change the team. Yeah, crazy, mate. I think Klopp told him that you have to stick with the same 11 no matter what.

30:43I don't think that's what he's getting at. Is he a victim of success too quickly? Eh? He's a victim of success too quickly. Lou, you know how angry you are now? Imagine if Arteta said that. I don't... No, the thing that annoys me, the thing that annoys me a little bit is like, this is his old fault. He's talking about low blocks. He's talking about all this. Yeah, yeah. People play against Liverpool a certain way. You were playing six or seven offensive players at 1-1 and you were chucking men in the box and because of that you suffered from a set piece because you didn't have the defensive players.

31:09it's your own fucking fault you lost that game and you're getting dominated from the off anyways well they weren't look Man United were not a team but Liverpool did hit the post three times no Man United were so much better than Liverpool but Gakpo should have wait no they hit the post twice twice and then Gakpo had a they missed a lot of chances you know they missed a few as well yeah yeah Islaq had a stinker Van Dijk had a stinker there was Salah had a fucking stinker the goalie weren't great either yeah yeah but yeah but Liverpool did have the chances to win that game it was all Gakpo though wasn't it really from what I've known who it was all came from the guy he almost missed his goal actually yeah that's insane he missed the 1-1 side note for his finish remember that is that four losses in the right Liverpool I do think you're being a bit harsh with that quote though I think he's just no he always cries every game he loses he cries no it's little bits because he was saying little bits against us because we were playing a bit more we're not on about that we're not on about this no this is why this is why I'm getting annoyed by so what about after the Palace game when he came out and said they were by far the better team they deserved to win even when they conceded Even the way he says stuff like that, absolutely.

32:10So he can't win then, can he? No. I don't like the sort of fucking stupid excuses. But I've just given you one way to come out after the game and didn't give you an excuse. I went to tell you about why, and then you're like, we're not talking about that though. I said he was saying stuff against Newcastle as well and other teams, and then I've seen this against Man Utd. I'm like, every time, he might have said that about Paris, but a lot of the time. I think he would have been asked a question, he's explained, or maybe we were expecting Cesc to play, and it didn't, it kind of... If I was slot, I would have wanted Sesco to play.

32:41It's an excuse without being an excuse. If I was slot, I would have wanted Sesco to play. Okay, what should he come out and say then? He should have said, I fucked it. For some reason, I benched the striker that has been scoring goals. I went way too offensive too early and I underestimated Man United and they handed it to us. The reason we keep... We're bad from set pieces at the moment. Van Dijk's gone missing for some reason, leaving Maguire unmarked at the end of the game we've seen the decline throughout the last sort of eight games so far Salah is it the end has the age old saying of has time caught up with the wise master yeah he's got to go Afcon as well so I mean like his season's looking a bit ropey stinky isn't it I thought they were in Europe you see what I mean this is where the confusion comes from what Egypt oh shit I thought you thought he was no no my brain got discovered Nice horrendous I'm really confused there It's a multitude of problems At Liverpool isn't it It's not just one thing It's just so many little things Adding up And it's just It doesn't help that they've They've actually bought Too many players You've got to feel bad for them though Reeve Because obviously They are in a team in transition Yeah Half of Don't you start with this though Because yous have been on a project For 10 years So don't start like Yous can't make that remark No they're in a team in transition You've got to feel for them No because you say the same thing every year Yous have been a project for 10 years I don't think you're quite getting it Is Just to go back to Salah Is he exempt from getting the boot?

34:16No Would you drop him next game? Yeah Who would you play instead? Anyone Who can you play? Rio? It'd be like Frimpong Once again Once again Chiesa came on and did well Yeah He's had a really good season Really good season He's got a goal contribution every like 60 minutes or something? He came off easy. Oh, was that intentional? No, I forgot who he got subbed on for. Yeah, it was easy. Man United are low-key just like... You know, you said it earlier, they're two points behind Liverpool. Yeah. And one's in... The guy might cut his hair. Let's wait till next week. Wait, how many have they won now then?

34:51Brighton. Brighton. This system is fight, all well and good against the better teams. Mate, the guy went to cut his hair has got to be fuming because every two wins they get a loss. It'll just be forever. It's the first time he's won two in a row in the league. Or two in a row in general. But every other game is a loss. How mental that is, by the way. Other games happened. Villa are back. Yeah. Got that creative spark. Are they back? Spurs were three in a row. Three in a row? Spurs were poor. Spurs were poor or Spurs are poor? What is it? They were poor. They were poor. I think Spurs are just Spurs.

35:27Where are they? They're sick. That's about their level. Spursy. I don't think that's Spursy. Great goal for Morgan Rogers Is he back? Yeah I think that kick up the arse Has changed a few of them They seem You've got Buendia playing well as well The kick up the arse That Emery gave them Has seemed to They're a bit more Energetic Yeah yeah yeah I know exactly what you mean there Thomas But Spurs need to stop playing Tell down the middle Oh my god He's rubbish How much did he cost again? He's a winger They've got Richarlane Is Solanke fit as well isn't he? Mouane's not fit Not quite He's not fit Solanke but they've got just play Richarlison down the middle he's a Tell oh my god he was offside so many times and Villa play they've got a high line and Tell was like two three yards offside and he's fast he's like just give him a yard just calm down has he only done that because he scored against Leeds I don't really know I'd even rather Brendan Johnson down the middle than Tell he doesn't know what he's doing end of the show yeah Spurs were poor I thought especially after going 1-0 up I just thought they look lacklustre flat what sort of season do you think Spurs are going to have?

36:36But the Matty Cash pass Oh it's a joke what do you think Spurs are going to have this season? What sort of season are they going to have? Europa League do you think it's like trophyless? Probably yeah Frank's building a paddle court there he's not building it he wasn't even that aware of it he's building a paddle court that's sick no when he was asked I thought you said when I asked what happens if all the players sack off football that's what they can do who's going to do. By the way, this is, see, I've now noticed, because I've watched the same interview, I've now noticed how we relay stories.

37:04So the interview asked him, oh, I've heard you're building a paddle court. He goes, oh, no, no, no, the club, the club is sorting it. Apparently I've heard like, she basically made out like, he'd asked for it and sorted it. He hadn't, he was like, oh no, the club were already doing it before. I bet he's going to use it though, isn't he? Frank definitely, of course, he says, Frank literally filed a planning permission. He'll be like, yeah, I'll be there every day. There's a picture of him in a high-vis and a helmet. Send it off. What happens if Spurs, when the paddle court gets built, when does they start losing every game?

37:33Why do you have these stupid hypotheticals? What do you want us to say to that? They'll probably go down. Coincidence? I think not. Hasn't happened yet. Yeah. Have we discussed every match apart from obviously Brentford? No. Oh, the Arsenal. Yeah. Yeah. I thought this weird... I thought this... I don't understand that though. We created so many chances You got done in by Fulham Did you? No we didn't get done in We did get so many chances What were the big chances I mean Jokic had one second half He skyd There was one first half There was a goal We got disillowed The Califiori one That was a good Yeah that was a fucking hit It was a nice ball from Trash A little setback The penalty instant Yeah Clear and obvious To overturn No I think I think it was If it takes that long It shouldn't be overturned What are we doing?

38:18Yeah What are we doing? I wouldn't have overturned I think it was I do agree with you I watched three four times and it moved and I was like, that's fine. But if you've taken over five minutes, it's not clear enough. I think, I thought, but I feel like that's more slanting it on how long they're taking. Like, for me, I watched four replays. I was like, he's got the ball, the ball's moved. You should be employed by V. The longer it takes for them to make a decision, the less clear and obvious it is. I'm saying they're shit of the job. I could see this clear and obvious is a bit weird. Like, the ball is going in this trajectory, his foot comes in and it goes there.

38:47I'm like, I know, but then we go back to the old point of like, he's getting the minutest of touches on the ball whilst you smash into someone's leg. Is that still winning the ball? Yeah, is that okay? Yes, it kind of is. That's always been football. We've had a couple of them this year, but like brushing the ball. No, but that's it. You couldn't differentiate when he hit him to when he got the ball. So you're telling me within 0.001 of a second, if he got the leg before the ball, then you're saying that's a penalty. You said, you watched that four times, and he said, definitely not a foul, Roy.

39:19If we had proof now that he actually hit Saka before he hit the ball by 0.002 seconds, would you say that's a penalty? My logic with this, and I feel like we should always lean towards the contact. I feel like we shouldn't lean towards the lack of contact. So that one there, yes, you might have got a bit more contact on it, but I think the game is way better played if that contact's allowed, rather than us doing it the vice versa, because then the game's going to slowly get softer and softer. We're denying about the ball No but he's saying Like maybe I feel like surely Surely winning the ball He's having a clean contact On the ball Not a stud But my opinion My opinion It looked like he did get Do you think that's A free pick People have been sent off For winning the ball And also Yeah this is what And this is what This is what shouldn't be happening Yeah but Then we're just getting to a point Where we're actually undermining All the refereeing decisions On the pitch Surely we want to be pushing for This game I thought the You know like Offsides and that used to like favor the attacker, favor the attacker.

40:18Surely we should be pushing for that anyway, just in general. No. In terms of everything. To make it more entertaining. Yeah. No, no, no. Because then you put entertainment above the sport. The sport always goes first. No, because that's like... The sport is entertainment. No, Theo, that's like doing stupid fights in like the UFC. You're doing these fights rather than fighting for the battle because he's earned it. No, the sport should always stay as a sport first. It was always favor the attacker as always being the thing in football. An offside. Offside rule, not in terms of contact. Not in terms of contact.

40:44So it's like, oh, well, well, we may as well give a penalty to my entertaining. No, that's not, that's not sport. I'm the same with it the other way around though. Like they're like zooming in to see if someone, players around passing, is there contact? Well, yeah, there might be contact. It doesn't mean it's a foul. It can be both ways. I just think sometimes you don't have to zoom in to see if someone's got the tiny touch. Do you know what I've been getting given? I haven't finished, but all right. Oh, sorry. I'll carry on here. You know the ones when like the player sort of, it's a player behind them and they just like put their bum out and fall over and then they hold the ball like that.

41:16Give them a yellow. It's not a foul. Give them a yellow. It's not a foul. Got you. You've been backing into them. Yeah, it's not a foul. You've just stood behind him. It's not a foul. And he's bummed you like that. It's not a foul. But how many times does that happen? Oh, every game. Every game. Every game. Every game. Do you keep an eye out for those kind of things? But talking about Arsenal, we were mentioning the Jokeres start. What are your thoughts on Jokeres at the moment? He actually should have scored yesterday. He should have scored. He had a couple of chances. Good keeper saves. can we just reassess I don't think they were good saves though they're poor finishes okay I'm just wondering so like a few weeks ago like we said out of all the news trackers come in and got you to like rank them in order so I'm just curious are you asking me to say is Voltemada no no Eketika is in there Eketika is in there as well and Sesko so in what order would you now rank as Arsenal fans in what order would you now rank Eketika Voltemada Jokerez Sesko Sesko looks better than Jokerez you said Jokerez you said Jokerez yesterday that's interesting you've changed overnight what about you it's tough you know because he's actually just not scoring goals he looks the worst out of the four he looks better than Cesc no you don't Cesc is in a far worse team and doing just as much he can't even start exactly he's still doing as much as Jokic is I disagree but we have to move on from that one no no we don't have to move on at all we do not this is what the show is it's not all about scoring goals though is it Tom no no as a strike kind of is the big thing that you needed it's not everything you have to look up how they're building up the play and getting involved and yeah Cesc wasn't He dropped yesterday because of his poor performances, was he?

42:45It was a tactical thing. So the two games before he'd scored, he'd scored in Bo. Do you know his nickname? I mean, we can be silly. I'm not being silly, but you don't get that for a reason. All right, Jokeres, Shockeres. I think, I haven't seen enough of Sesco compared to Jokeres, but I would bank my money that Sesco's better than Jokeres. Because Jokeres, right, he's went seven, he's went, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, let me give him a reason. No, let me give him a reason. He's went seven games, I'll score. and bear in mind two in the international break against very sub-par teams. Did he start in both of them though?

43:18Yeah. He did. Him and Isaac both start in the front. Do you think he's played badly? Well, in comparison to his price, there's expectation that comes with the amount of money you paid. I obviously, I understand that he's not scoring goals and that's entirely the point of why you buy number nine but I think the whole like statistics or lack of statistics part of this game is like overshadowing how bad you actually think he's been. No, I'm not saying he's a terrible striker. There's not like many, but I'm saying how much do you spend on him? 57 I think he's too clunky man he's first touch he's not good you know yeah but like and you can tell you really can tell he said when he this is the thing we said when he arrived I saw in that first game that he doesn't have the technical ability he doesn't have the technical ability on the football and not every striker is built like that otherwise you can't all be like no but at this level you need some level of technical ability if you don't have that he's not going to learn he can't learn that now He hasn't got the base technical ability.

44:13So you might train him to get into the certain spaces and he might pick up a few goals. But he's incredibly harsh. It's not. It's true, Theo. Who do you think is going to score my... If I try my best now, I couldn't become technically better at football than you because I haven't got that backlog in my life. Premier League level striker. Yes, but it's the same for him compared to a different footballer. No, you can always still improve. Luke, can I ask you a question? He's never going to make that leap and become technically as good in the football as like saying Eketiki or more. Yeah, we know that bit.

44:37That's not an argument, but he can still be technically better than he was previously. Can I ask you a question? Sealand's there, mate. Who do you think gets more Premier League goals? Testo or Jokeres this season? Well, you're playing in a better... He's playing in a better team with you, so I'd say Jokeres, but like... Well, that's fucking irrelevant. It's like you're almost 20 at Bournemouth, mate. Oh my God, Theo. Come on, come on. You're saying that's irrelevant. It's irrelevant that he's going to play in the team that's probably going to win the league. You said Arsenal can't create me. Oh my...

45:00Who said that? No, he didn't. You did the other day. Who said that? By the way, yesterday, he said Jokeres was better than Volta Marder. He's changed that now, bottle. Yeah, I said that because it was funny. No, you didn't. Oh, sure, maybe. Who do you think gets more goals? Sesco? I'd say Jokeres because he's playing in a better team. I think Sesco. He's a better striker. You think Sesco will get more prominent goals than Jokeres? I think if you put Sesco in Arsenal's team, he gets more. Let's have a bet. I'm not confident enough to bet. We would have gone for him. We would have gone for Sesco.

45:26There's a lot of players that you should have went for, really. If you look at this counter window, you should have went for... He was a priority target, wasn't he? And we still ended up going for Jokeres. there's obviously some level of scouting there otherwise you have chosen wrong no but this is what I'm saying but he's saying that us four should know more than the Arsenal scouts no no no but there's a reason that usually the only ones going for him usually the only ones who went for him who? Jokeres oh okay I think I'm in Sesco Eketike had Newcastle and Liverpool alright Sesco had Newcastle Man United yeah Bortomada had Bayern Munich and Newcastle Newcastle was after everyone yeah except from funnily enough, the shittest striker out of the Lord Jokeres.

46:03I think it's so harsh. But it is, there's a reason where it's like, yous are the only ones who wanted him. How come you're happy to give Ange more time in management? Benefit of the doubt. We're comparing Jokeres as a striker to Ange as a manager. No, no, I'm just saying the way you view things is very interesting. Because it's a very different role. The manager has to control whole team's philosophy. A striker only has to play his own role. Yeah, but it's a team's role. Yeah, he has to embed into a system, right? Yeah, but no, Ange has to control the entire system. Jokeres only has to listen to said manager about his role in that cog in that system.

46:38Yeah, yeah. So it's a very... No, but you're more optimistic about something than something else, which is interesting. No, no, but you can... You're misunderstanding. Like, it's very different. You can watch a player and even if they're not technically scoring it, you can see things and go, yeah, do you know what? Can I ask your question as well, though? But Jokeres, he's only had one or two games where I thought, do you know what? Yeah, and then the rest he's just looked... But do you not think, though, it is working with what he's doing in this team though because third most goals this season top of the league looked by far probably the best team in Europe I'd probably disagree with that because I don't think it's not because of him I think you could have pretty much anyone up front and you'd be doing the same do you think Slanky's better than Jokeres?

47:13well not right now not currently I don't know as a striker I would have taken Slanky over the current state of what Jokeres is looking like I don't think that's just stupid bear in mind you just said how Slanky scored 12 goals at Bournemouth I think it was 12 19 20 sorry I think if it was done before he moved to Spurs yeah definitely oh now it's three years ago oh my god you're unbelievable I used that as an example I used that as an example as well I used that as an example for scoring goals in a lesser team I think Slanky it made my argument at the time I think Slanky is a better striker than Jokka is definitely he really is but the thing I just why does he not start at Spurs I feel like I feel like you know it deep down but because you're this deep and you're finally I'm not disagreeing but I also think is really unfair what you're doing?

47:58I don't understand what's unfair. We're not here to be fair we're just giving an opinion. I don't see what's unfair. I've just said Joel Linton's not been good so far this season. Ultimately he's not scored enough goals but the top of the league three points clear third most goals in the league and best defence. I hope Mancini win now. Bottom line is that. Of course that is literally all that matters and when I say I think you're boring you can be really boring to watch it doesn't matter does it? If you win then you win the league it doesn't matter being boring but if you win the league you will be the most boring champions I think I've ever seen.

48:28You haven't seen the Invincibles, mate. Oh, yeah, burn. The Invincibles are quality to watch. Do you not think you're a tough watch a lot of the time? No. You don't think Saturday Night was a tough watch? Yeah, but you said a lot of the time. You said a lot of the time. I think generally across the board, I think the consensus of Saturday Night is just wrong. You're not a tough watch, you don't think? No, I think we created loads against football. I don't understand this narrative. I really don't think you did. We did We actually did The highlight reel Was like two minutes You watched the Sky Oh no That's not a good short I watched the game They're all two Three minutes long No I watched the game My point is It's more like I understand you're there To win A lot of the second half You've got six men In your own box Just sat Just stood there And it's like Really To know you go One nil up And don't lose That's Like we're built It's boring What's the What are you doing In football Boring You've got to win As a fan of the club knowing that like if you get a goal you probably win the game.

49:28No, I understand but I'm not speaking to an Arsenal fan. Saka is creatively exciting. Trossard's like class by the way. Yeah, how good for you? Is he better than Cole Palmer like you were trying to say? He pulled up a start where he pulled up minutes and goals and assist ratio and started arguing Trossard's better than Cole Palmer and then the start apparently came from a fucking Arsenal fan channel. It's still true though. I had a full 50 minute debate about it. It's not true. There are elements in the team that are very exciting. Ezra is exciting to watch. Necklin Rice is something Yeah yeah yeah Gabriel Corners is great Fun to watch I just think I think you I think you You play for set pieces So much I think Arsenal are too easy To hate and they Nitpick at everything And just enjoy it I think you don't There's nothing to enjoy Yeah there is Because top of the league It's quite fun That's a lot to enjoy Scoring goals Defending well Scoring every corner We take as a goal That's quite exciting It's just not true I'm talking as a neutral I'm talking as a neutral Football fan who like Watches football for entertainment and I don't find Arsenal entertaining.

50:24I disagree. And that's okay. Do you agree or disagree? Oh, I strongly disagree, yeah. I think he's a boy. But you would say that. No, no, no. You think most of the time you've watched Arsenal this season? I was more excited about a Monday night Liverpool game. Liverpool, City, really boring. Saturday, really boring. I thought you were really good at Newcastle. Really impressed with you, Newcastle. Leeds, Forest. All the smaller games. Leeds, Forest, yeah, good. West Ham, okay. So it's quite even. 50 % of your games are boring In your opinion I mean But You don't think those games are boring Look it doesn't look really silly It doesn't matter You've gone from every time you watch Arsenal they're boring to now 50 % I didn't say that Again you've just lied You just make up lies It's weird Right now boys we've obviously discussed all the teams that were in action last week in the Premier League We're now talking about their seasons so far We're going to rate every single team Because we're a quarter of the way through We're a quarter of the way through the season we're caught away through we're caught away through guys let's kick off with Wolves man I'm not looking forward to D that's probably the easiest D for we do it yeah yeah yeah D for dangerously shit dangerously shitty not even dangerously shit just our fucking shit D for D for D for down going down you can't say that mate you cannot say that D for relegation doesn't work West Ham 19th position West Ham are just like oh we haven't even discussed that actually we'll get to it West Ham we'll cross up West Ham by the way it's a big game tonight between West Ham and Brentford they're both in the shitter well Nuno's there now they're on an up project do you think he will fix them we've got a point against a good Everton side so never know they'll be fine yeah they'll be sorted obviously Spurs Spurs.

52:20B. They're amongst it, but they're looking a bit weak. They've got some things they need to iron out. I would argue B is fair. Yeah, they're just very, yeah, they are a bit hit or miss, but they're in sixth, which is kind of weird to say because... Well, they gave Wolves a point. They're one point ahead of Man United. Yeah. But then that's doing great as Man United. But they shouldn't be drawing against the likes of Wolves. Yeah, but they're also on the same points as Chelsea. You could look at it like that. Yeah. Or they're one point behind the champions. Our City just, not City, our Spurs just like, low key, just sort of just like they're just decent they're chugging yeah they're fine up or down it's like this but the average is that yes yeah that might be the smartest thing B Sunderland's got to be A or S I think you said S S it's got to be S right can't hope for much more same points as Spurs Sunderland they just look alright as well don't they like Granit Xhaka's brilliant great styling yeah Alderite is class as well just very solid.

53:18Like, Roof's their keepers having a great season. Could be like team of the season. Mukiele's centre-back, isn't he? What? Mukiele's centre-half. He plays right back as well. Right back as well. Depending on availability people. Well, what's the best availability ability? Ability. You do realise you see the way round? Are you doing it on purpose? Jesus. You just got done in there. Yeah, that was crazy. I got a prank. Frankie Nottingham Forest. It's a D. I don't think that's rogue, mate. Yeah, I told you so, D. Have you got a follow-up message to the Forest fans? It's all right, lads. You can just say sorry.

53:58It's okay. I've had to say sorry loads. We all get it wrong. You never said sorry. You never does it. We've literally done segments on this show like saying how I'm wrong and I've got to get it. Yeah, when you've been gunned to the head, you finally say it. You won't say it off the bat. You didn't say sorry. Say sorry. I am sorry for being like that. There's not much I could do, though, is there? Well, where we're caught? We actually figured out the way where we go Do you know what you should have done? That made me go fast Do you actually know what you should have done? But it's all in hindsight Yeah we evaluated We evaluated the situation Yeah And we've all been there where we've tried to like quick-a-roo-quick-a-roo Yeah Just stuck with the first one Yeah But I was freezing and cold Yeah And it's queuing in the tube It's shit And not moving makes it even worse Yeah But it's like when you go to the passport control and you see which queue did you go Oh do you mean when I first The first time I should have stayed Yeah But you know with passport queue you go in a queue you see that one's moving you jump it and that was all the way I was there like 10 minutes and it moved like for 4 yards and I was like I was getting a lime and then every lime I went to was then getting booked so everyone was doing the same and it was fucking on the forest have you been going through any of the comments people sent you early in the season and just let them know no I wouldn't have been able to resist at this point if I'm honest I may do if it gets even worse there was one I quote tweeted the other day where this guy I literally just put pretends to be shocked at them sacking Ange and a guy replied just going just giving me abuse and I clicked on his profile and his pinned tweet was me doing a prediction of the season and I put Forrest like 15th I think and me going oh Forrest is going to fall away like shit so he's pinned it to remember when you were wrong and pinned it with what an absolute twat like so I just quote tweeted it going haha oh man and then he replied going to be fair his reply was fair he's like just because you're right doesn't change the fact But the future is bright.

55:47Potentially. What? With Deutch? They are now literally relegation fodder. Currently, they are in the bottom three. With Deutch, they might not be. With Deutch, they were... Oh, good rhyming. Also, what happens when they play Burnley? What happens there? Just he implodes. With Deutch, you are now just accepting you are now just a bottom-off relegation fodder team. Yeah, but currently going down. Deutch has always said he wants a good squad where he's always wanted to so here he is oh I've only played the style I do because I've had to so let's see what he's about is he about to play out from the back now I really doubt that free-flowing football he comes out with some Guardi all the rest I do just think though they're maybe not I just don't think Forrester as good as they thought they were I think they just rode a wave and even individually like Ola Ayn has been put I know he's been injured as well Yeah, yeah.

56:41He's been out. Milenkovic looks average. Sells looks like... Milenkovic and Mourinho were talking about the two best centre-backs in the league at one point. Yeah, you were. No. You guys were. They are a good partnership. They might be back to that kind of defensive strength and solidarity with Deitch, but Ange just wasn't that person. The only team with a worse goal difference than Forrest are Wolves.

57:34Also I told you Chris would get dropped it's got to be C could be D could be D though I don't think it's D because it could be worse yeah actually to be fair it's C Volkman's looking good you've been yeah we've lost to like say Arsenal or Liverpool but there was like good signs and then they fell off okay can I just can I just just to play devil's advocate you've won as many games as Burnley put us in D then I don't think we are I think we've shown for your expectations to be 13th on as many wins as Burnley we often start the season like dodgy though it's the same it's fine I mean you just can put us deep I don't think anyone here believes that it could get worse than what it is there it's not as bad as what's going on at Forest right now only the bottom three have scored less last season we actually had more points that's bad isn't it that's really bad yeah that's the weakness of our team but there are it's not all doom and gloom because defensively they look alright and bottom line looks good there's glimmers of hope in the dire of shit we've shown good football it's just not been consistent enough which is a bigger problem.

58:37I think C is fair for Newcastle United. Have you got a good run coming up or not? We've got Benfica and then Fulham. You've got Benfica, Fulham, Tottenham in the Cup, West Ham away. Tottenham in the Cup is an annoying draw. It's average. You might be not a couple. Tottenham in the round is 16. Fuck off. You'll beat them. Annoying that. You will. It's good at home. Right. Next up, we've got Manchester United which is an interesting one because... B? I think it's B. they're in the top half Manchester United I know that but I have to go for what I see right now what happened their level their level's mid-table but they're not I don't think they'll sustain that type of performance Man United we can't just goodbye stuff yesterday they've been poor I'm going off position in the league we're talking about Amaran getting sacked every week using your logic I don't think Man United are very good so them not doing very good is to my expectation.

59:34They're on a minus goal difference. So what I expect of Man United, this is proper bog-on standard. Bog-on. Bog-on. Bog-on. I'm between B and C. They're not doing better than Spurs, are they? No. But are they doing better than Newcastle? I think they're doing better than us. I would say they're on par with Newcastle, right? Yeah, I agree. Really? Just because they're on 13 points in 9th, it's sort of glossing over the fact that they have a lot of issues. yeah but they're getting results this is what I mean it's like if you look at the league and the ninth man it's been yeah it could be they're shit we are still talking about Man United and ninth giving them a B yeah because I but this is the thing this is where we're different we both pull Man United shit I know I know I'm talking about devil's advocate here if you're a Man United fan bingo yeah are you happy yeah but like maybe I think there's positive signs definitely the thing is I don't think they're going to you have to be really you can't just go we're Man United we should be top of the league you do have to look at the context of last season and how shit it was they now have a good keeper all the issues yeah I think I think I think I think I think I think I think I think I think I think I think I think I think there are definitely positive signs I think B is it's like low end B yeah B minus yeah I think that would be fair yeah Man City Loki A I think it's A It is, isn't it?

1:00:59Yeah, definitely. They're back in the charge, mate. They've got a good goalkeeper. But obviously, there's absolutely no way Arsenal don't win the league, obviously, now. Stop saying that. They're by far and away clear. Why are you doing that? We use Will. There's no way. I mean, if you manage to throw this away, that'll be just generational. Three points in October. No, you said you were going to win the double. Three points in October. I can't wait for you lot to bring like, oh, you bottled it. You have three points clear in October. That would be unlike Arsenal. If you don't win the league now, that is a bottle, for sure.

1:01:26Definitely. with how much better you are than everyone no one can score against us that can barely get a shot on target once you score you win it's kind of true though yeah no if you still win this league so then if you don't win it what generational right now in this current state should Arsenal win the league yeah they should win the league yeah yeah yeah so it's going to be a bottle if you don't no but they won't though they definitely won't well of course not they definitely won't of course not they never do that there's no way it never gets to them towards the end of the season we're going to win it anyway it never gets to them you're definitely going to win the league it's done they might as well give you the trophy now because it's done please do because don't make us try and play for it stop tapping stop the count Sunderland finished three points above Newcastle stop take that phone away I like swirling it Man United no we've done that Liverpool Liverpool see yeah they're fucking shit but I mean three weeks ago it would give them A wouldn't we actually wouldn't I've not done that they weren't as well were they how can the lucky streak has run out if we're being honest That's right, if you look at it.

1:02:26The way they're paid is caught up with them. They're the current champions and they've gone and spent a ridiculous amount of money, signed all these world stars, whatever. And they've just lost a Man United home. Cameron made a good point where, remember last season where everyone thought City were beatable? They lost that shine. So then teams are going there thinking they could beat them. It's happened to Liverpool now. Especially like, it goes back to us with 10 men almost got a point and then everyone's gone there and I think they can do it. which even shocked me the way Bournemouth went at them first game I think everyone and obviously that was first game on the Friday night one I think people would have watched that and gone we can get at these you can actually get at them especially Anfield has been such a fortress for Liverpool what's their next few fixtures they've got they're going to struggle now Frankfurt away in the Champions League not easy Brentford away not easy I do think Palace at home in the cup Villa Real Madrid City they've got Real Madrid then City yeah I do think Liverpool are in a poor position where I don't really know.

1:03:28He's going to have to have some bollocks to sort this out because I do think it's going to take dropping certain players. Will he drop Verts? I don't think that's that. How is he supposed to beat teams when teams rotate against them? Play different sides. If they stop doing lower blocks and that, then they might have a chance. Weird. Weird one, that. But also if they're... This is hilarious, by the way. If they're really expensive players come good to the quality that we know they can be. This is one thing that's going to be interesting because like Isak is infamously shit against the lower block as well.

1:03:59You never really had to face too much playing with us. The longer it goes the more pressure it gets on the players. Yeah, yeah, true. So it's like Yeah, he's got to start clicking soon otherwise they're in big trouble. Or it's just getting incredibly worse. Yep. Leeds United they are sat in 15th position. See? With some positive signs. Level on points with Fulham. I feel like you say see you're not surprised by that. They're not doing horrendously shit are they? They're sort of like We sort of expect them To be in and around this area But they're out Of the relegation zone Which is going to take a positive So that's why I say C I'd could be Yeah I think a bit better Really I mean It's hard to judge In it at this stage It's more like A lot of teams have done Extra shit this year Which has pumped them up Barring the Burnley game though They've performed pretty well Yeah they have They played well Against Newcastle They did well against Spurs Even though they lost But they can't score They struggled to Bournemouth they should have won Like Calvert-Lewin Needs to start scoring Stop, stop.

1:04:54No, but he's so... Mate, he had so many chances. No, but he's so influential to how they play. No, no, but imagine he starts scoring. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, but that's why he plays for Leeds. It makes me laugh. Albion fans always say this. Like, if Mikey Johnson had a better end delivery, he wouldn't be playing for us, would he? If Mikey Johnson had a good end delivery like fucking Saka does, he wouldn't be playing for West Brom. Like, Calvert-Lewin plays for Leeds because he doesn't finish chances. That's unfortunately the way of the world. But other than that, he's link up play. the chances he helps create he is brilliant for Leeds and he's playing games not being injured at the moment so you've got to take yeah that's a definite positive but he's from that Nick of the woods though isn't he so maybe he just feels at home Dominic Carvert-Lewin really he come through the Sheffield ranks didn't he but I think B's there Fullham I'd guess C they're having a poor season but they did zero recruitment yeah like if you don't buy any extra players and your squad is I was disappointed with them Saturday against Arsenal I thought they didn't really offer much.

1:05:53Yeah. They lost three in a row. Arsenal, Bournemouth, Villa. But I also don't think it's crisis for them. No, they'll be fine. So, yeah, they'll be fine. Fulham in C, Everton. I mean, I'm confused because how are they in 12th? Because they've lost three games. Because the games you remember, they've been really good in that they've won. Do you know what I mean? But actually, they're not picking up as many points as... Yeah. But you say that though. There are, like, if you actually look at the table, in that, like, 12th, sort of, 5th position, even 4th in Liverpool, it's so tight. Yeah, only 8 points in it.

1:06:334 points in it. They're one win away from being 7th. Yeah, but they're also a Leeds win away from Leeds going above them, do you know what I mean? Like, it's, it's, I mean, maybe not because Leeds are on minus 6, but. Everton got Spurs away, Sunderland at home, Fulham away. I think it's B, isn't it? Yeah. they also got they're fun to watch attacking as well they're a different type of Everton team for sure Crystal Palace got to be A do you think? yeah they're in 8th yeah big Jean-Philippe they also just look good just as solid as they everyone thought they'd maybe drop off a little bit after last season probably losing Eze just solid real solid solid up the ego and defensively just like that back three is sharp man they're good John Philippe as well yeah JP yeah I was wrong about him I thought he was purple patch really that's back when he was doing that is the litmus test that's back when he was in his purple patch and I was like I thought it was going to be like an Alvaro situation but he's proved he's wrong but he's a player that if he gets service he's actually he's really good he also wears tight shorts speaking of JP and tuck shirt Is it a tight shot or is it just a big bum?

1:07:53Probably his big bum. Carry on. Speaking of JP, not James, or perhaps, Jao Pedro. Chelsea football club in fifth position. Yeah, Jao Pedro's not had a shot on target like five games. Yeah, yeah. What the fuck's he doing? He drops really deep. He's dropping really deep against Forrest and like linking, I feel like. Trying to do like the Palmer thing, isn't he? Yeah. I need someone else to do that. I'd go B. Yeah, they're in Europe. They're in a slightly better season than Liverpool, aren't they? Yeah for the standards And for the expectations Definitely I think And they got Again Talking about Cavaloon Playing football You got Rhys James Playing regular football Who's just He's not been injured For a good while It's like 40 odd games I know That's weird But he's looking great He's the best in the world Isn't he Yes he is And that That cross Yeah Yeah yeah Yeah Chelsea Can they get Champions League Do you think they will get Champions League Yeah Yeah Over a season Long period yeah Chelsea are going to be the top four I mean they're still getting points in Palms Out Chelsea are definitely going to get top they'll spend in Jan as well probably yeah more forwards I can't believe I fucking put Garnatry in my field over Neto why you did that is crazy I was between him and Neto I was nearly right nearly right Neto got a goal and assist that's like nearly right no he got a goal and assist he scored didn't he yeah he got a goal and assist That's not nearly right.

1:09:19Lewis was nearly right about Jacob Murphy. Was he wrong? Also, what cross are you on about with James? No, no, we'll get on to that. I think last week. Oh, I thought you meant the week. Say that again, sorry. Do you think you were wrong to pick Garnaccio? I was wrong. I was really wrong. Oh, no. He's nearly right. No, my thinking was on the right lines, though. Yeah. Oh, so you're nearly right. I wanted to pick a Chelsea winger for the game against Forest. So it was between him and Neto. I chose the wrong one. But you were nearly right. You were nearly right, though. Well, not really. I don't know.

1:09:50That's what you just said. Not really. Not what you just said. Burnley! Carl Walker, leading them to glory. That is a cross and a half. That was a fucking... That's an out. Three just crossed. They were two really good. I'd still just see he's been shocking. It's not D, is it? Burnley is not D. No, they're out the relegation, but they still... It's all about Mormons to survive, Tom. Isn't it? It's proven, though. The home record for these relegation sides, like... Massive. Huge. Absolutely humongous. Well, they've taken points off both the other promoted teams, haven't they? Who's Burnley's most important player this season?

1:10:22Dubravka, potentially. Yeah, Dubravka's been good. No. Dubravka's been really good. Who? Yeah, Jadon Anthony as well. La Foster? Yeah. And Cullen, to be fair. Cullen's been okay, yeah. What are the mighty seagulls? Sorry, I thought we were doing a prediction show. It's tough to call these because, like, you don't know which Brighton you're analysing. does that make sense no because you know you know when you were doing the whole like sine wave with Spurs the ceiling and the floor of Brighton is so they've only lost one out of the last five though I think they're doing good who Brighton they're on the right lines I think you put them B positive goal difference

1:11:06oh let's stick these in D who is it Brentford shocking season isn't it yeah it's unfair because the gap is new I think D's harsh Yeah Is it? Is it? They're not in the bottom three And you've got to remember If they win tonight as well They'll literally be Above you guys We are rating them A little early C is fair Yeah I guess They do have a given hand They've lost like All their best players And manager And manager I think A lot of people Have them to go down Yeah Yeah I mean Both an S Yes Yes, 100%. Yes. They are just brilliant, aren't they? They actually just are brilliant. Yeah. They conceded a lot of goals though.

1:11:49Yeah, but fuck it. Who cares, man? I know, yeah. They're great to watch. They've got one of the best players in the league. He is one of the best players in the league. Oh, I'm conforming. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's been great this season. And last season. Yeah, but one of the best in the league. It's a bit soon for that. I don't think it's soon. He's been doing it for over a year. He's great, yeah. I think he's one of the best in the league. Name a better left winger. Name who you think he's better than Probably can't At left wing Everyone He's the best I think he probably is the best Yeah you're probably right actually There is a shortage of left wingers now I think about it Docu maybe I wouldn't put I would take some menu over Docu Better than Gordon Yeah Greenwich Yeah He's better than that What about the left wingers We used to have tons What the fuck's happened They're all right wingers now Yeah Yeah Gakpo I'd take Gakpo over some menu potentially yeah I wouldn't I think still Semenya you know what I think you're right I think you're wrong you're right I think I've taken Semenya at the moment Gapos quality he could have scored 4 though man Gapos better than Semenya for now I don't think he is Semenya I think Semenya I think actually clears he actually might be the best left winger in the world right okay let's not be silly what name better Mbappe Vinicius okay fair play you win Rafinha yeah Rafinha right winger he's not He's not.

1:13:10Luis Diaz. Still probably better than him. Yeah. Oh, well. No, look, I think Semenyo is top, but again, let's not, let's relax. He's doing it at Bournemouth. That's more impressive. More impressive. Talismanic. It's not. We've been over this so many times. So it's more, look at Kerkhez. It's a massive step up. Look at Izak, yeah. It's a massive step up. That's true. It is. It's a lot easier doing it at these clubs than it is at the top level. I agree. like Kerkers and Izak are just looking shit together I don't get your point oh Newcastle Tiny Club that's what you're saying no I'll just back in Tomas he is right yeah and like some people can't like the price are lanky look at Solanke yeah you know it's crazy and you cost your team World Cup qualification as well sorry I'm forgetting what we're talking about you have issues you're actually weirdly obsessed Aston Villa guys Aston Villa they have turned it around they have turned it slightly around they have turned it around but still for their expectation and level I think see with how bad the performances have been and they're also probably and I think there are still underlying issues that yes they've turned around a result those issues are still there Watkins looks a shadow of himself Rodgers has only just started playing well again they got to recruit in January do they have the money to recruit I don't know Sancho's spending it all on Sweetie isn't he what you haven't seen all that Sweetie Sweetie You know the rap back The singer or whatever Yeah I need no one back If you're not singing I can't be honest To get into it Arsenal A S S S tier He drops on points Lou were top of the league So have Bournemouth And Sunderland They've drawn and lost With three points clear After eight games They've conceded three goals I think they're The previous champions It's S Lou No no no Lou what's your reasoning Behind A not S You're the best team in the league And you lost to Liverpool Who we put in C I only lost the game You lost to Liverpool Who were in C The previous champions lost three games in a row beat Arsenal what about the entire whole of the season Man United beat Liverpool Man United came with a bit more fucking attacking football Man United beat Lumber we put them in what do you what don't act like you can't walk out I don't understand what you're saying who turned up against Liverpool with more intent to win Man United or Arsenal probably Man United why are you so fixated on one game yeah yeah we're talking about a season whole season yeah I'm all forward It's my opinion.

1:15:35Three points clear after eight games. What would have made it in Estes win every game? He's just trying to be like... They could have got a draw against Liverpool. Lewis, Lewis, eight games in there, three points clear. Conceded three goals. I know, but they were five points down at one point almost. Exactly. That's even more impressive. What are you on about? Wait, so we've conceded the set piece for Soboslai, what are the other two goals we conceded? Haaland. Yeah. And against Newcastle, Vultemar. Vultemar, yeah. in eight games two non-set piece goals conceded is fucking wild yeah your defence is really good that's wild actually well they're all ranked are we on we might be in for a fucking generational movie this year guys yeah or actually a generational movie for you guys yeah there's a movie coming either way it'll be good when you watch it and you just go hooray and then go do a run or something but that's a quarter of the way through the season we'll obviously come back to it later on in the season and compare how their seasons have developed.

1:16:36What would be good is if Arsenal win the league, Albion go up and Newcastle go down. Oh, yeah. That would be unbelievable. That might be the greatest And then you can have the championship opinion on things. Yeah. That would be a hoot, wouldn't it? Yeah. You'd prefer to go up in autos rather than... If I had the choice, I'd rather win the playoffs. Way better. It's the best way to go up. Yeah. The two legs and then the Wembley. Fuck. I'll beat that, mate. You might. if West Brom go up you make the most money you survive that's not true I thought it was the most expensive game of football yeah but the reason it's cold is because it's one game to get into the cram yeah but you make some yeah but not as much as winning the championship you get a trophy you get more for winning the championship you get a trophy you do win in it as well and come in second you don't get a trophy for second yes you do it's a shield I've watched Albion lift it lift it let's walk it's just like they just go like that getting a trophy a second place trophy be in the work.

1:17:33They've always had one. But then so is the third place. I watched them lift the championship, the winning one as well, at QBR. I've seen us lift it as our first time up. Yeah, but we're a big club, aren't you? That's that, mate. You guys were so ecstatic over last week's all-time overrated 11. And it sparked a lot of debate. A lot of you agreeing with me and actually everyone was very harsh in the prank that you did on me. Oh, were they? A lot of them said we went into prank here, but this was so bad. Actually, no, Lee Steele went in to prank with me. You were just, it shows how much you were just biased compared to what Lee Steele said.

1:18:07No, I had a text. No, you texted me. Yeah, we sent him a text. Yeah, the comments didn't realise I actually knew him. I'll still back the other one, but I'll back them all. So basically, all of you have asked for the underrated version, so we're about to do that now. Well done. Thanks. You didn't segue it. I spent quite a lot of time on this last night. I actually found this a lot easier than overrated. I think it was really hard. It's a nicer one, isn't it? Yeah, it's easy to be nicer, isn't it? I think it was hard to remember back who I thought was underrated. How many Newcastle players are in it?

1:18:35I've got three. Four. One is a Newcastle player, though. I've got 90 % Arsenal players. Actually. I know them better. I know them better. Can I go first and get mine out of the way? No. Yeah, go on. If you want, mate. Class. I'm going Brad Friedel and goal. Long-standing, classic keeper. Yeah. Never. He was underrated, though. Yeah, he was. I feel like when he's not one that gets like forgotten Brad Friedel I know but you never think like fucking oh I feel like you think of Tim Howard more than Brad Friedel no way I could have put Tim Howard as under it Tim Howard would have been a decent shot but they're the same person can I put Tim Howard in instead same person how old is he playing till like 45 yeah like yeah long time man can I put Tim Howard in I think that was probably Tim Howard in yeah I think there's another goal you could have gone for graphics already up on the screen alright mate alright right back poor Stephen Carr pretty solid to be fair Stephen Carr you never think I thought you had him as your left back no no my right back who was there he could play everywhere in the pitches why he's underrated so we'll get to him but Stephen Carr never really comes to mind anymore as well really he just like falls through the loops of like Premier League history Blues, Newcastle Spurs yeah solid solid everywhere I know it's quite you can put good people in yeah and say they're still underrated like Messi this might seem Newcastle heavy at this point but it will wear off don't worry Coluccini he was un-fucking-believable was he?

1:20:01I always thought he was a bit of a was he unbelievable he was unbelievable he was unbelievable well he wasn't unbelievable but he was fucking good like proper solid he's what Davin Luiz thought he was what just because of the hair? Davin Luiz was way better Coluccini's a freak Coluccini was fucking mint I always thought he was a bit rash Coluccini he's got big hair you have to remember in the state Newcastle weren't that good of a team really but Coluccini was a solid centre back for us for a while they had the same haircut literally no I know but Coluccini kind of just suited your style suited your level didn't he he was a leader yeah but he was good he was a leader he was really good Coluccini yeah I don't feel like just because you're saying I thought he was like decent like yeah he was good for you oh he definitely was but you wouldn't go I don't know I feel like when people think about Newcastle defense anyway yeah whatever Coluccini oh yeah Skirtle next to him I quite like that shout I think he was fucking solid yeah yeah And he's now a tattoo artist.

1:20:56And he had a fight with Diego Costa again the other day, didn't he? He's covered in tattoos and became a tattoo artist in retirement. I feel like he'd be a nightmare to play against Skirtle. Bony elbows. Him and Costa used to have run-ins and then at the testimonial, they had another one. What? An elbow in the ribs. Go on, who's next? Right, this is my last Newcastle player. Jesus. I can't talk. Vernon Anita. Can you remember that, him? Who's that? I didn't think you'd know him. He's a Dutch guy. He's a Dutch guy. But he came, he's played in midfield then we play him right back left back you could play him fucking anywhere on the pitch he wasn't underrated though was he he was so smart I think it's so rare to have a player who could play the amount of positions he could play you'd pop him anywhere on the pitch mate he got relegated with you why's that man he spent four years in the Premier League and then helped you get relegated also being called Vernon and Dutch is crazy he got us promoted for two right yeah paid for Holland by the way can we give more stick to the Sunderland fan in the corner I've seen the comments you don't see a pull up stats for the Arsenal players he's not a Sunderland fan he does yeah he has fucking anti-Newcastle agenda he's a Wolves fan no Vernon you could pop him anywhere on the pitch genuinely I can't remember him enough to say whether he's rated or not Leon Osman I've got him I needed that I was losing the crowd a bit there technically very good as well because you kept picking Newcastle players you don't really freaking remember no you've heard of Anita he played at Leeds as well with Osman do you just imagine him just like sort of like dribbling like he was a really good dribbling he always scored against Albion as well little fucker right I know on this next one on this next one everyone's gonna be like oh yeah obviously but like he's in anyways I put Carrick in because it's Carrick he's just not underrated anymore is he I know to be fair I was really so not during his tenure he was we're not talking about that we're talking about now Yeah, he gets I agree It's almost become like A thing to be like Man, yeah I could have been Fletcher in as well But I was like I understand I think that Fletcher would have been a better shout Carrick's from Newcastle If I'm honest Fletcher's Scottish I was definitely I was definitely struggling So I put a winger in midfield here So it's alright It doesn't matter Sean White Phillips Because Sean White Phillips Sean White Phillips Sean White Phillips He was really good at City I thought he was really good He wasn't that good At Chelsea as well I was though They signed him for like 25 million Which at the time Was huge money And he weren't that great He was But like Sean Ryan Phillips On his day man He was so fucking quick And just like Yeah Do you know when he played for England When we didn't even qualify for Euros Tiny fucking Tiny He was really good at City But I think After that Do you not think that Makes him underrated though Because then I think people who remember him Remember how good he was Oh well I'll go jump off a cliff No it's fine mate You do what you want If you think he's underrated That's all It's only opinions mate Yeah You get to choose Who you think's underrated It's crazy isn't it Can I change my stat Of my strikers I'm putting fucking Brad Biedel up top Go on carry on Right I'm going to go Vaduka Yeah I've got him as well That's mainly based off Our overrated last week Where we were arguing About DeFour versus Vaduka Vaduka man He's one of the Honestly he was so so good So good Technically Newcastle play as well He had a stint with us but he's not he's not known really for his Newcastle time he's got you could have went as well you could have went with the Yakubu as well but I didn't do Yakubu Vaduka and Yakubu were better it was quite classic it was good by Yakubu FIFA Street mate who did you Vaduka was one of the first players my dad made me watch like to watch learn how to be this player no just like look at things he does like I remember when Leeds come to the album and beat his 3-1 he'd be like watch what Vaduka does and like you just couldn't get the ball off it but he didn't have pace but like he's a big boy he was deceptive he could shift but he just stiff arm both feet as well both feet you don't really have strikers like Viduka now technically he was neat in little spaces as well who did Jakubu play at Everton with Everton with he had a partner as well McFadden was it McFadden maybe I'm thinking maybe I'm thinking of someone else anyways James Beattie good shout remember he used to have some thunder in him mate he scored goals at fucking Saturday.

1:25:19Which free kick am I picturing where like he struck it and like walked off before I hit the net? No, you're on about the Chelsea away. He like volleys it. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. And he just walks off. I don't remember much but that stuck with me so it must have been a fucking good goal. No, he's penalties. He'd walk back, not look and then just run back and smash it when they, but... Right, last one. How many fucking... They've already got three strikers. No, I've got two. No, two so far this and last one. Three strikers, yeah. All really tight together. Really tight. Marlon Harewood Brendan's show actually Marlon Harewood underage how's he cropped up to your I'll just do you know what I was going through like striking he wasn't under he had like one good season at West Ham come on Marlon Harewood look at him oh it's clear I haven't seen him in ages what made you think of him fucking hell he's at Newcastle as well I forgot mate he scored he had one good season at West Ham then he scored 3-32 he got 5-5 he got 1-3 at West Ham it's pretty impressive I fuck actually completely forgot it wasn't the first relegation season.

1:26:19Look at his record at Villa. Ah, shit, yeah. Mate. By the way, I was meaning to research this one. I typed it down as like a provisional. I forgot to research it. He was at Ali. He scored 5-15 at Newcastle in the championship. I can't believe I forgot he was with us. Yeah, that's mental. That's mental. Yeah, that's wrong. Oh, yeah, differently. That's definitely bad leg for me, yeah. But what a... By the way, what a throwback yeah absolutely so what made you think of it I was watching the Villa game and it was Marlon scored and I was like Marlon Ayrwood mate there's way better Villa strikers you could have had like John Carew no it's just because of the name linked up in my head oh yeah well that was a stinker Rio Corka damn those are the better days man Rio Corka John Carew right do you mind if I go first then or second because you've done a lot of Newcastle players I've realised that I think accidentally really Only three of these players Haven't played for Arsenal Can I tell you a bit Do you realise That players sort of moved about A lot more in the Premier League Back then Like the Is that true I feel like they did Like the Duke got about everywhere Harewood's been about everywhere There's always been Stephen Carr got about everywhere There's always been Those kind of nomad players I don't think so now I think it's quite Can you think of many players In the Premier Who have been played For like several Premier League clubs Chris Wood Yeah Carl Walker's played for three Chris Wood Carl Walker There's not many I feel like because now You go abroad And you get talent in rather than looking in the league you're in.

1:27:46I think that's a general point. No, I think you're wrong. I'm definitely right. In goal, I've got Schwarzer. He's got, he's third in all-time clean sheets and eighth all-time appearances. All time. And he went back to back Prems, didn't he? Yep, consistent. He does all go hand-in-hand, though, because he was. But he's only second key from it. Yeah, he's a staple of the Prem. I don't have him, I'm just saying. Right back, I've got Cesar Azpilicueta. I've got Azpilicueta as well. Yeah. Just class. Was he underrated? I think he is, though. He kind of gets forgotten a little bit. I'm not I guess longevity I feel like he's rated but I don't want to get into this debate again no but he was never he never when you think of him he never actually dropped a bad game he didn't he's always solid this next one I don't you can you can have good players in your thing you don't consider him as one of the best right backs in Premier League but he's not one of the best right backs he's probably top 10 he definitely is up there yeah okay I guess maybe he's underrated then yeah he wouldn't spike to my mind straight away if I'm a point yeah centre back Harry Maguire underrated I don't mind that I think his price tag fucked him this bloke I know he did it yesterday he always scores last minute goals or his head is he's just alright he gets so much shit he does should he not be better than alright for 80 million though that's the problem he didn't choose that he's still a decent player he's a good centre back for Man United no I know but he had a big reputation when he had that move like City win for him everyone in the country wanted him he's not been bad He's been good He gets memed Because of how much He was worth He didn't choose that though And he has had a lot of Clangors Because Man United Has done that to a lot of They bought Anthony For 80 million It's not his fault People are trying to Joke about him I don't mind He's been a solid Centre back in the Premier League For years I think he does He's got more World Cup goals Knockout goals Than Ronaldo No way Knockout goals He's got more goals At Anfield this season Than Isaac What do you think About that Theo And Valencia has more than Wayne Rooney in knockout goals as well.

1:29:45Yeah. Yeah, but that's what I'm saying. Harry and Gryer, mate. I like that. Yeah, fair enough. Other centre-half. This guy doesn't... You know when you talk about the best centre-backs in Premier League history? Mm-hmm. I think he should be up there. Kolo Torre. Quintessential part of the Invincibles. Long career. Yeah. He is... He should be up there. When you say he's up there, like... Yeah, what is he better? Top five? Are we talking about like top five? We all talk about Sol Campbell, but we never talk about Kolo Torre. But like, Is he in the top 10? He was so good better than Torre, wasn't he?

1:30:13Yeah. Yeah. Is he in the top 10 centre-backs of all time? In the Premier League? No, he's not. What are we on about? You don't believe that? He has to say it, though. I think Torre is just quality, man. You think he's in the top 10 Premier League centre-halves of all time? I think there's a shout he could be in there. You always do this. You never actually give an opinion. You just go, he could be. You need to see what your opinion is. My opinion is he could be there. No, no. That's not an opinion. Is he there? Is he the top 10? He could be between 9 to 13. but the point is you would so he's more out than in you should be putting him ninth then my point is you don't think about him but I think he should be in the conversation what conversation?

1:30:50I don't think he should be in the conversation for best Premier League centre he's nowhere near the level of like a Van Dyke or Terry or Ferdinand or even a Vidic or Kompany or Campbell Tony Adams you can really keep going Yapstam but I think he should be up there alright that's my opinion so you think he's on the same level as like a Yapstam you know what fucking yes I do I do he won the Invincibles he was a solid staple for Arsenal he went to City as well he's fucking brilliant fuck you all a solid staple he put his dick down on the table there you can't at least it wasn't maybe right let me find this one oh god Gael Clichy oh I thought it was the trust was underrated Invincibles even at City you won two Premier Leagues at City as well.

1:31:39He didn't play any of the things also, did he? Yes, he did. He was the youngest player. 18 years old. He didn't start for Arsenal, though. He didn't start, but he was part of the team. He's an invincible. I know. And actually, also... Ashley Cole was your left back. You can't claim Gael Gleesie. He is invincible. All right. So is Richard Wright. Are we going to have him? He played 12 games, mate. Off the bench? That's not a lot. He did have the best left back in the league. That's 12 league games, Cole. No, yeah, look. I'm not denying he shouldn't have a medal or whatever, but you claim... Two Premier Leagues at City as well.

1:32:09He was... No, I'm not denying he's not underrated. Following Ashley Cole's footstep, there's a lot of pressure. And he took that spot and he made it his own. And he did it for two top Premier League clubs. He's a good player, man. He's a good player. Underrated. Win a lot of trophies. What was the stat, though? You said you were getting... I just want his name is career honours. Oh, okay. Yeah. And he played in the Premier League for how many years? Cleachie was a good player, man. Solid, mate. Yeah. I've got a midfield four, all four centimetres, basically. I've got Carrick I actually think Darren Fletcher is the better shout Gilberto Silva I've got him as well heavily underrated again in the invincible side and actually when he became captain he was the most solid form of that team you've got more Arsenal players how many Arsenal players do you want a nice little stat about him in the 06-07 season he scored 10 goals yeah he did a lot of them were Gilberto Silva he was also on penalties that season I couldn't believe that when I was researching last night 10 goals He was on penalties and he put a lot of top top of the McAlealy scoring 10 that is Yeah Yeah he's classful And he's a really good friend of the show as well Friend of the show And I know he's not Premier League but just imperious for Brazil as well And amazing He was the gel for that Brazil team Yeah Well three out of the four of us have him so I mean there you go I think Gilbert Silva was the pick for midfield Yeah I agree He just doesn't get spoken about enough No Again more Arsenal players Thomas Waziski I've got him This is wrong But how I see this guy Is he scored a worldie Every week He's a good player Do you know what I mean Mate I think he's Wholeheartedly underrated In the Champions League In the Arsenal yellow away kit Arsenal fans speak I'm not in front of you But in terms of No but like Scoring worldie Just enjoy it Have a bit of enjoyment In life Stop negative everything I liked Vizicchi a lot Granit Xhaka Next player I don't know If we're getting into Under 8 I don't know if we're getting Into Under 8 I think Xhaka is underrated.

1:34:07I don't know if he is. I think he really is. He gets overlooked for his temperament back when he was at Arsenal, but in terms of his actual ability. I remember when he first played, everyone was like, this guy's shit. He wasn't. A front two. Yeah, this is... I don't know how you've done that. He's your final midfielder. He's done four. He's like a... Oh, carry. Yeah, I just forget positions. Up front, Olivier Giroud. Not underrated. I think he is. He's got a showreel. Really not underrated. Yeah, that's the point. He's more than a showreel player. I think people remember Giroud for probably being better than what he was.

1:34:38I actually think he's overrated slightly, Giroud. He's not underrated. No, no, what I'm saying is I think people remember Giroud better than he probably... Because of his fucking show reel of goals. They make him think he's better than what he is. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Your argument counters what you said. Yeah. Yeah. Just so no one to say. But I think his goal reel could be the best in Premier League history. Everyone just thinks he's a goal reel guy. But it's way more than that. His hold-up... No, you're missing... No, you're missing the... And the point I'm making is like, when people think about Giroud and look back, they see that showreel of goals and go, fucking hell, what a player.

1:35:11But actually he was quite limited. He was a player. He was a player. He was decent. Yeah. He barely scored for Chelsea. Sorry. No. Good, decent goal record for Arsenal. Yeah, very good. That's what I'm saying. He's not under air. Proper goal scorer. Proper goal scorer. Yeah, he is. All-time French record. He's a good player, Giroud. Good. The next one. I didn't realise... Is this Arsenal as well? He has featured for Arsenal. Oh, nice. But I didn't realise how many Premier League goals he has. Adebayor? No, this bloke has 125 Premier League goals. Oh, I guess. Yeah, I guess. In your lifetime? Yeah.

1:35:50Oh. 125 Premier League goals. In right? Nope. No. I won't guess. That's 112, isn't it? Van Persie? Nope. Adebayor, Van Persie. Who else has played for Arsenal? You like him. You just like him. I like him Only a couple seasons I've seen it He's been around He's been around I don't know Go on Anelka Oh god that's Ages ago yeah I don't think he's underrated I don't think he's underrated either Anelka I feel like he's actually Really fondly looked up Do you not think They're like To have 125 Premier League goals Yeah because he was amazing He won the golden boot At Chelsea Did you think he had 125 Premier League goals Yeah I actually think He had more genuinely I would have gone like 150 odd Do you know how many clubs He played for Yeah I know that's my point he just did it everywhere he went like we're talking about an all-timer here yeah he's not underrated mate I think maybe he could be underrated I think he could be underrated always could yeah yeah always could I think he could mate his record at City was good as well yeah those two those strikers aren't underrated they're just strikers that you like even at Bolton on by City he was class Bolton was one of his best periods when he scored against Arsenal actually do you know what I mean this play was like because people like to talk about him and Drogba together I didn't know how many goals he actually scored in the Prem.

1:37:05Because he went around so many places, I thought, you just wouldn't have that. Yeah, but when he first got them weren't Prem clubs, though. People talk, like when Arsenal, when he first came through at Arsenal, he got a massive move to Real Madrid, didn't he? Yeah, Real Madrid, PSG, Fenerbahce, Shanghai, Shunwu, Mumbai City. I don't think he's underrated, but fair enough. I was blown away, and I couldn't believe it. Anyways, moving swiftly on to... Oh, is that your last player? Yeah. Okay, fair enough. See a fair few of mine are like obviously considered good but I'd still put them in the underrated category that's alright isn't it so in goal I've got Yussi Eskalainen Oh I've got him as well very underrated I've got him as a player He was so good back in yeah also in the noughties you can you'll really struggle to think of like a clangery mate yeah just a solid pair of hands which is what you want in a keeper he helped Bolton they were like mid-table in the championship go to like top half Premier League and he never he was never dropped unbelievable he was it's true I have Azpilicueta alongside Theo I've got Joel Matip as my second centre back better than Bobby Mill was it yeah exactly it just wasn't very wasn't very what Van Dijk held his hand of it yeah it's just yeah but he's not underrated is he I don't know if that's true but I guess that means he leans into him being underrated yeah exactly if you think he's shit but I don't think anyone thinks he's that good that means he's underrated that helps my taste he struggled he didn't play against him he didn't play well played with him that's also unfair but his argument would be that he did play well he is solid I know certain man said he's better than Bobby Moore yeah you certain man go on then carry on I know I've only got three of the back and I know he's technically a right but but I've got Zabaleta I've got Zabaleta good shout consistent good shout mate I'm too pretty I feel like Zabaleta do you know when I was younger and we'd talk about we'd talk about oh he's the best player he'd always get mentioned but nowadays I don't feel like he does I've not heard his name but maybe that's because of Trent Walker he just gets forgotten but he survived that Man City era where they were buying in all these players and they weren't replacing he was the staple of that team yeah they kept him in not many survived took Mark and Richards spot as well who was fresh off on the scene who were the players who survived there was Joe Haas who stayed around there was Zabaleta company was there before was he company yeah company stayed and then all of that Oh, and your mum's tits.

1:39:34No. No. Carry on. Anyway, moving to midfield, I have Rosicki and Jabota Silva, who we've already mentioned. Arsenal! James Milner. Just a career-long underrated player. I had James Milner, and I thought, is he underrated? He is. That's such a basic white girl bitch answer. Yeah, he is. But they put Carrick. Yeah, I know. I said it. That's why I even had a call for Milner. He's got to be mentioned. He's going to break the all-time Premier League appearance rate. Everyone knows how good he is. Yeah. Come on, man. That's ladies. so long me man and then I'm bringing it back wheel it up Grob as my final midfielder oh I miss Grob yeah he's doing well in Germany you know he's like second in Brighton's all time Premier League I keep track of Grob he played right back for fucking pitch side heritage and then up front I've got Mark Albrighton so so left wing right wing but ah he played he played every game during Leicester's title I won in season.

1:40:31He did. Yeah, but then what did he do after that? What did he do after that? Now, we'll let you have it. He's been at the club for ages, mate. It was a very good thing. Fuck all. We may as well put Wes Morgan in at this point. He's just a very... Christian Fuchs. Just very sweet. Friend of the show. He's too friendly. You can't be supporting just because of that one season because then you can put the whole Leicester team in. No, no, no. No, he's... His best goal scoring season for Leicester was two. Come on, man. He's not the rated bit. He's only got like five assists. His best assists was five.

1:40:59Wait, wait, wait. I thought you said he played every game. 15-16, yeah. 38. Yeah. He's made you look alright. No. Two goals, two assists. He's played a part of every game when they won the title. Not really. He's done. That's why he can't agree with me. No, he does. I mean, he's a Villa bastard, but he was... I think he was better at Villa than Leicester. Underrated, then. That doesn't mean he's... This one, I don't know if people agree with me, but I've always thought he was better than he gets credit for. One matter. Both at Chelsea and Man United. Obviously, he's an incredible player and we all know.

1:41:36Don't people just like really rate him? I'm trying to decide what people think. I thought he's good. Yeah, me. I think everyone just rates Mata. I always thought he was amazing and he kind of just gets under the... I'm not saying like, fuck it, David Silva's underrated. Could be. No, it's not that level. I do kind of hear him. I feel like definitely at United, he's probably not appreciated enough Mata. Yeah, yeah. I think Chelsea, in the Mercurials, everyone was like, what a player. But then when he went to United and started wearing Predators and lost his speed, people forget he was actually quality for them.

1:42:09But I don't know. I don't agree with it, but I understand his point. Yeah. And then my final player gets overshadowed because of obviously like pop culture, Emil Heskey. I've got Heskey as well. That's good. Baller. KSI ruined his name. Exactly. To the youth. Sensational football. He's actually a really good player. The thing about him is He adapted his game. Yeah, when he first came through, he was just fast, like, bull. And then he became this hold-up, link-up. He was... And, mate, he played in the Prem for, like, 15-odd years. You don't do that if you're not any good. Yeah, my last memory of him is...

1:42:40Yeah, KSI definitely ruined him. Oh, yeah, yeah. His name's Tarnished. We were... Fabio Capello, we were down, and we needed a goal in the last 10 minutes. We subbed on Heskey, and he was, like, old and... Yeah. I feel like Fabio Capello did him a dirty... He shouldn't have picked him. he ruined his career there okay walked past Capello once yeah friend of the show friend of the show friend of the show friend of the show friend of the show good well a lot of mine have been mentioned so easy for me Jaskalainen been mentioned my back three haven't I've gone with Carvalho was my first I forgot about him as a player I think he just gets overlooked do you know how you say I think your argument for Torre actually is Carvalho I think Carvalho should be in arguments for like Carvalho isn't He's not, man.

1:43:26He's really not. Do you think Colo Turo is better than Carvalho? Not even close. Carvalho is far better. If you stand by your list, I think it's close. It's not close at all. It's not close at all. Why is it not close at all? Carvalho was part of a team that conceded 15 goals and he was the main passer of that partnership. Terry scored 15. Yeah, he's wrong. He's wrong. And then he went and played for Real Madrid. Yeah. Colo Turo is part of the Invincibles and went on to play for Manchester City. And did what for City? Nish Okay my next two I've gone It's not often I get To fucking put some Albion players in So I've gone with Johnny Evans He's my first one The best player Best defender I've ever seen At the Albion Was really good at United As well Meh Well he went back For a second Exactly mate Johnny Evans I'm not even on about His second The latest spell He was unreal at Leicester As well Just a bit mare innit Meh He wasn't man I don't think you've watched Johnny Evans He was unreal Nah Remember that period Where he was actually Money not his best player Johnny Evans at his best was one of the best defenders in the league I'm not even joking he was unbelievable no he wasn't one of the best it's just Mare isn't it it's because of his name it wasn't one of the best in the league mate I think he was at a period for Leicester Man City tried to sign him nah it's just did they sign him no okay so that's how we do it no no it's the old Strand-Larsen argument did they sign him no didn't want him how about no that isn't what my argument was Newcastle did want him hold the L with Chris I'm saying he didn't want to go.

1:44:54Who's next? Gareth McCauley. Jesus. Oh, man. Again, this fight. Right, so Gareth McCauley was signed by Albion on a free at 31 when he was in the championship and then spent eight years in the Premier League with us, helping us finish in top half multiple times. He won player of the year multiple times. He just rated then. Meh. You've just said meh. He was unbelievable. He was rated then. No, not by... Why are you getting so vexed? He made over 200 prem appearances and he didn't play in the prems. He was 31. He's just rated. Good player. On a free. He's good. He held his over for a while. He held his over.

1:45:25Okay, so I've already... Gilberto Silva... Gilberto Silva. Gilberto. Gilberto Silva and Osman already been mentioned. I've gone with Malouda as my wife. Oh, it's just a bit of me. He's a beater Kalou. Mate, he was way better than Kalou. He was better. Oh, I grew up, man. But surely people just... Again, I don't get what you're doing here, though. I don't know what... I think you're trying to be different. Florent Malouda in that Chelsea team... People rated him. No, he's not... The players who have spoken about are John Terry, Drogba, and Meluda Frank Lampard they're not I feel like Meluda was there I feel like he's underrated you're trying to be too different everyone rates Meluda I don't think they do why?

1:46:02because I don't think he gets spoken about often well what context I don't walk about daily talking about Flores Meluda or anyone okay then so what context do we say that about anyone then? that's why I wouldn't use that as an argument when you say Meluda you think he's a good player I think he's better than good though I think he was excellent for Chelsea how good is excellent? do you think he's great? What do you mean how good is excellent? Well, define it. You're just using the argument. Excellent is better than good. He was one of their best players, especially in the 9-10 season when they won the double.

1:46:31Yeah, I agree with you. Everyone understands Malouna's that player. Good, see, I think he was better than good. I think he was way better than good. I use a different verb. I think he was excellent. I think he was amazing for Chelsea. I think he was just stealing. I think he just had a few different there. You always shout at Theo for making that argument. No, I wouldn't. Like, he'll just use an adjective above the one that everyone else is using. Yeah, and then he has to go over there. That defines me. I agree. We agree. You think he was good. I think he was excellent. No, don't put words in my mouth.

1:46:54You just said that. I think he just rated. I think he's just rated. He was a good player. Exactly. I think he's better than that. So I think he's underrated. I agree with you. Okay, how good is he then? How good is he to be underrated? He was one of their best players in the 9-10 double season. Yeah, I agree. I agree. I agree. So now what? All right then. He's rated. Okay then. So you guys rate him. I think overall. Name somebody who doesn't rate him. He can be quite underrated at times. When people speak about Chelsea's success. You're reaching there. I think you're trying to be too different though.

1:47:22What? You're just trying to pull out his name so we're all like, ooh, Tom knows this name. Everyone knows Evaluda. That's what I'm saying to you. I'm like, Florian Evaluda. You've just argued against yourself there. If he's so known as being great, how is he an unknown name? No, you're trying to be quirky and different. We wouldn't be saying Evaluda. How's that quirky and different if you're saying Evaluda? Because none of us said it, so it's different to what we said. But I've already done the list before. Half my players you've mentioned? Yeah. because those ones are the right ones. The rest have been stinkers.

1:47:50We've had Macaulay fucking whoever in there. Macaulay Culkin from Paul Millard. Yeah. Okay. Next, I've gone with Chris Brunt. Again, that's just a bit like everyone just rates it. Do you know in the, do you know in the, everyone rates Chris Brunt. They think he's one of West Brom's best players. Do you know the discord are going to be fucking Do you know in the 2010 decade, right, he was 10th in the Premier League for assists for West Brom. Yeah, that's why he's considered one of West Brom's all-time best players. Okay. Fair enough. If anything, he's genuinely overrated. But we only spent seven seasons in the league in that decade.

1:48:24That's why he's considered one of the best players. To counter your point, you know, we were on stream yesterday and we had to create your best ever West Brom XI. You struggled to get me. No, I'm saying you manipulated the team so you made sure Chris Brom was in. That was out of love.

1:48:39I don't see what angle you're coming at from here. He was fucking fast. That's fine. He re-engineered his whole West Brom team. Wait, so he's considered one of West Brom's best players, right? Yeah. In the Premier League era. So you think he should be the best player? Is that what you're saying? Underrated? I think... Why is he underrated? I don't get why he's underrated. I think in general, West Brom players are underrated. Because they just looked at us, West Brom. Not Chris Brom, no way. They didn't do much. No way. He's always spoken about it. Yeah. Fucking stinker. I think that's a stinker.

1:49:08That's fair. That's another stinker. I think Wayne Moody's underrated. It's four in a row. Anyone that he hasn't copied has been stinkers. That's fair. He went last. Anytime he'd like choose his own player I've already got Voduka and Heskey and then my last one I think is the most underrated is Hasselbank Again like isn't he just like really rated like put Ronaldo in there as well Oh yeah let's compare Hasselbank with Ronaldo Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank is considered like yeah really really good player Yeah how many gold boots did he win do you know No Two There you go Is that a surprise you No That doesn't surprise you that Hasselbank Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank I think he's a bad player.

1:49:46You're trying to like distance. Like this shitty little Hasselback. Bad player, little Jimmy. Little fucking Hasselback. Little Jimmy. Jimmy Floyd Hasselback's like, class. Little Jimmy with his two going on boots. It's obviously a bad thing. Did you understand what we were trying to do? No. No. It's picked some of the best players in the Premier League history. Yeah, I forgot. So that was, name your best team, guys, in the comments. See you next time.
