In short

Football news and debate: Manchester United sacking Ruben Amorim after public criticism of the board; Chelsea appointing Liam Rosenior; Premier League form reviews (Arsenal, Newcastle, Spurs, Wolves, Villa, relegation talk); plus discussion of “breakout stars” and player sell lists (mentioned but not detailed in the transcript).

Guests and backgrounds

Reeve, Thea Baker, and Tom Garrett are the hosts of Pitchside. The transcript also includes panel banter from a Newcastle fan (Lewis) and other club-focused voices, but no full guest bios are provided beyond their roles as speakers.

Key claims

  • Amorim’s win rate is cited as poor (around 38%), and United’s “manager carousel” is criticized; some argue he was sacked mainly for speaking out.
  • Darren Fletcher is interim for United; speculation includes Solskjaer or other candidates, with Glasner and Southgate discussed.
  • Chelsea’s Rosenior appointment is called “bizarre” and too project-like for a big club; Rossini is viewed as lacking top-level experience despite coaching reputation.
  • Arsenal are praised for improved intensity, squad depth, and Declan Rice’s clutch form; City remain the long-term threat.
  • Spurs and West Ham are described as struggling badly; Wolves have “shining lights” led by Tolu.

Notable examples

  • Arsenal-Villa and Arsenal’s use of Rice in the eight; Odegaard’s improved final-third intent.
  • Newcastle’s 2-0 vs Palace (with Barnes impact) and Newcastle’s attacking link play.
  • Romero criticized for defensive rashness in a Spurs-related goal discussion.
  • Wolves’ Mane Tolu highlighted as a difference-maker.

And if you want more Pitchside, catch us on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, where you can find us by typing in Pitchside. Let's get into it. I don't feel cold. Cold is whatever temperature you tell yourself it is in your mind. It's just out of mind. Temperature doesn't exist. Is that a Christmas hat? Oh, he's got a new hat! It's actually not. I lost this hat, but when I went home, it was in my golf bag. When I opened it for Christmas, it was there.

0:39Tell the people frozen on Everest that temperature's just made up in your head. Well, if Goggins was there, he would have been able to talk them through it. It's me. Oh, no. I'll be starting. Happy Christmas! Happy New Year! Welcome back to Pitchside, the first ever episode of Pitchside in 2026. Is that correct? Yeah. That we've recorded in the new year. That we've sort of recorded. How's it been, guys, without me? Have you gone for the last two? Very good I feel like we have We haven't recorded We haven't recorded One of these How's the lives been without me? I've only done one How's the lives been without you?

1:11How was it just you two? Yeah we've just gone Did you keep up with Super Jats? Yeah Yeah I think we did well Well you You can do it You had a little naughty Oh did you? Tom almost got us Taken off there Five minutes in I got baited Oh you said something Yeah I would like to make A declaration At the start of this year A declaration No no no I'll make a declaration of war against Ryan Mason. Is he gone? No, no, he's gone. He's finally gone. Are you happy about that? Friend of the show. Friend of the show? No, I would like to see my declaration. In this year, I'm making a declaration of war against the West Bromwich Albion board.

1:47If you dare, if you dare appoint Gary O 'Neal, I will be very unhappy. Tom, why do you think he was on match of the day asking for a job? He's favourite and I'm not fucking happy. Steve Bruce? He did say he can't wait to get back into management. Oh yeah There will be riots He was very articulate If they appoint That dingle There will be riots That's a bad word They'll bleep it It's fine Really bad word They probably won't bleep it I swear to god If they even dare Go near that fucking PE teacher I will I'll He's in for Strasburg as well I'll chop my leg off He's going to go Carry on with your declaration I would like to say A declaration Where's that dog come from Okay Because he did it I was like Go ahead We have that now Just that Does anyone care about What you're going to say I think at this point probably is no, but we're committed.

2:32I'm going to be reasonable. I'm going to bring ball knowledge into the new year. I'm going to speak with facts and knowledge. Why are you suddenly now when you've never done that before? I'm not going to speak with emotion. I'm going to speak with unattached, unbiased opinions. We'll see. We'll see about that. But great shirt. Shout out to physiotherapy. Go to the physio. We do have some breaking news this morning, guys, and actually breaking news from yesterday as well. The world's happiest man, Amrin, got fired. And I've never seen a guy dap up a reporter looking so happy. I'm fired. I'm 10 mil.

3:02Hey, record them again. Oh, yeah. Oh, for fuck. Oh, yeah. He went for a snowy walk. He looks extremely happy. No signs of Enzo Maresca, though. And he's also been fired. Bring him back to where he belongs, Albion. He's an Albion legend. Get him back. Bring him back home. I don't think we can afford him. I think his price has gone up slightly. Look how cool he is. Amorin suddenly got aura about him again. That's a smile of a man who wanted to get sacked and then immediately got what he wanted. He's suddenly reversed aged. How much money do you reckon he got from this? He got 10 million. Oh, did he?

3:34Overall, Man United on through... It'll depend though. It'll depend if he gets another job. Through hiring him and paying his wages and if it is 10 million, they would have spent 23 million on the worst win percentage in Man United history. Man United, they always have money. So, both sort of in similar scenarios, they both came out against the board and instantly got fired. Yeah, I think that's pretty... No, Mareska walked. I understand football's, also I understand football's a different sport, but if any other person just like went and did a press conference and said, my boss is a ****. They have no, Man United have no option.

4:10No, I know where that's happened and they've been fired before. Yeah. You know, he'd have no option, like they had to sack him. You can't come out saying that. And also, look at his win percentage. Who, Amarillo? 38%. Do you know what's interesting? There's a lot of Man United fans, from what I've seen, a very split where some are like we're just doing the same thing which is true where we hire a manager back and loads and then just sack and recycle and then the other people are wanting them out because of those stats I think Man United fans do tend to be very loyal to their managers and I think they wanted it to work they don't want a carousel of managers in and out but and there was there was signs here and there there was like oh you could signs you could latch on to where you'd be like oh this could this could work and they're sixth in the league but I think they're sixth in the league because of how poor the league been like.

4:58And also, they're not far off the top. Sorry to interrupt, but they're really not far out off the top four. Like, they're amongst it. He's got the worst win percentage out of Rangnick, Moyes, Ten Hag, Van Haart. Like, it's shocking. Worst points per game by a long way. I would be interested to know, like, how does he stack up of like, this, like, because you can take into that, but it takes in the really bad start. If we just stick to this season alone, which is realistically what is actually relevant in this second, this season, it's not, it's not horrendous though. they're in the correct direction I said they'd be 12th since Amron's appointment only three sides have got more points than United have won fewer have won fewer points jeez you can't even read basically there's only three teams that have won less points than Man United since he's been in charge which is Spurs West Ham and Wolves two of which are going down the other one finished 17th almost went down last year can I be honest Ams quite sad because he is so funny like I love and also he's a ball manager not a comedian I love how loyal he is to his own...

5:55Like, he isn't, no matter what, being right or wrong, he's honest. He's honest. Everything he says, he means. He sticks to what he wants and what he believes in. Yeah, but that's why he'll never have a top job again. Also, this is everything we were slating for about him. You cannot be that stubborn. Look at how interchangeable Arteta is and Pep are and how often they change things. Pep has his philosophy, but even Pep changes the way he plays sometimes and changes formation. When you have the level of player and talent he has, which isn't that high really considering the money they spend you can't only play one style of football I think the board saw Wolves and Leeds and saw six points and if you don't get six points he's gone I don't think that's true at all I think if he wouldn't have spoke out he drew against both of them I think if he wouldn't have spoke out he'd still be in charge I don't think so I think if he beats both of them he only got sacked because of what he said results means more no no no this is what some Man United fans have been getting at it's like he's went all this time with these poor results but as soon as you speak out against the board you've gone the day after and that's what some of them I've seen have taken a problem with you get that the board would if they were doing much better in the league and still he's having they're not doing badly in the league I'm saying if they were then they would let certain things slide but he wouldn't also be he wouldn't be speaking but he wouldn't be speaking like this if they were top of the league you can't but he wouldn't be speaking like this if they were top of the league he wouldn't be speaking like this so it's sort of like it's a situation that wouldn't happen and Ratcliffe also he'd had enough and he wanted out Ratcliffe even recently like has doubled down as like Yeah, he's a great manager only a few months ago.

7:24So it's like... He's 100%. He's got the sack because of what he said. That's it. Got Darren Fletcher in charge at the moment, interim, apparently to the end of the season. Solskjaer might come in. Solskjaer wants it. Do you think, going back to Solskjaer's sort of firing as well, was that, do you think in hindsight that was a mistake or do you think it had turned a bit sour against him? I feel like it's all progressively got worse. I think it's very easy to look back and think, oh, well, they shouldn't have. It's even like the McTominay thing, like they shouldn't have sold him but at the time it was the right decision like it was for the money they were getting and Solskjaer at the time it had gone sour and like it was time to move on do you think from when Ferguson left has it progressively like got worse from like yes no in terms of like the manager appointments like I feel like Moyes was like a great choice and then each time Moyes can't manage a top club they tried they tried the Mourinho and the Van Halen in fact of the David Moyes appointment I think at the time he was sort of everyone understood that appointment yeah 100 % but we now know with more data that David Moyes can't do a top job he can't I don't know I always I was young back then but I always thought like I was a young boy Moyes was the man like it was never I always thought as well it was always going to be a shit season after Ferguson left but no one thought that they'd just won the league I understand but like if you look at the actual team and when you have a manager who is so hands on like Ferguson was and he was in every area obviously Moyes didn't handle it right with getting rid of a lot of the staff and stuff but it was always going to be a huge drop from losing Ferguson.

8:48So, yeah, but people said that about Klopp and then Slott went and won the league. It's a bit different though how like Klopp's control over Liverpool would have been different to Ferguson. Like Ferguson was hands-on in every area. He controlled the club. How do we know if Klopp was doing that? Modern football is a bit different now though. That's why Mureska is leaving. That's why Amarim's complaining about his control. Like that's why his managers are leaving. I think Klopp was one of the closest to being a full manager though. I think Klopp's the best example of... Aguadillo. We all thought...

9:13Okay, let's relax. No, in terms of having control over the team. conversations. Do you think as a Newcastle fan, Lewis, obviously there is a name being thrown around at the end of the season. He's in a press conference today and said he's not. Oh, that notoriously means he's staying there. We've never seen that before. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just like Isaac was staying as well. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I feel like the different characters. Eddie Howe could be a manager at Manchester United in the summer? Or... I'd do anything for that. I would do anything. What happens if Darren Fletcher, yeah, top four, Champions League They're probably giving him the job Yeah But they said it won't be him I don't I think they're going to get Like an actual Yeah they're going to get Like a solstrient Didn't they say something Something similar to Oli when he come in As an interim And then he did so well They give him the job I feel like you can You can say these things But realistically He needs a hot start Essentially Because they're interviewing Right now Fuck off Did he say that?

10:09I think Real Ferdinand Has lost his mind Oh Oh how they turned To able to Let's talk about Arteta going to Man United According to Real Ferdinand I mean, it's Rio Ferdinand to be really taking any fucking... You could see. You could see that happening. Apart from what you said. It's a career progression. That's not happening. It's stupid. Arteta going to Man United. Rio Ferdinand's come out and said Arteta would 100 % take the Man United job. I would not trust anything that Rio Ferdinand says. He said that Newcastle fans should sign players themselves with their own money. So it's like, this guy is mental.

10:38Yeah, Arteta's not obviously going. I think the favourite. Glasner's the favourite I saw. See, what do you think about the Glasner? Because on paper, but on paper it makes sense in terms of the play style and the 3-5 at the back it doesn't for a club like Man United is he just not ready for that level of you look at Thomas Frank going up to even a Spurs Man United surely Man United that's the way I'd view it but also it wouldn't make sense because you say the formation but like everyone's complaining saying change the formation change the formation and then you hire a manager in who does the same formation that wouldn't make sense all he's going to say is 3-1 South gets 5-1 can I throw another name in there Morescu could give it a name post World Cup you give him the World Cup Tuchel and Lancelotti surely you just go for a Tuchel or Lancelotti possibly surely you need someone who knows how to manage I said they should have got Tuchel before but I think honestly my honest answer to that is I've got no idea you don't you really don't no we will have Carrick we can have Carrick can I say one it's interesting May and I don't need Carrick it's interesting because if you look back before Amram's hired and they brought Ashworth in and it was multiple reasons why he was sacked but one of them was he completely disagreed with Amram and he wanted Southgate and if they then sack him for that choice and then sack Ambram and then hire Southgate later.

11:46They won't get Southgate just out of principle. Yeah, that's what I mean. It would shore them up so much. I think Southgate could do a good job. I don't want him in. He knows how to manage a big team. I love it. I kind of think he'd be all right. Best England players in the world. Yeah, bottom line is we've got no idea what they're going to do with Man United because they don't operate the same way they used to. It's a very tough one to call. I just don't think they should do the Chelsea route right now. I think they need a proven manager. I think they need just a big certainty even if results don't go well.

12:14Is Moresca not a shout? That's what I was thinking. Is that a certainty? You said before how he's literally just a Leicester City manager. Yeah, and he's done a good job at Chelsea. I think Moresca is a good choice, but would Moresca go to Man United and sever any chance of going to City? You know what I mean? Possibly, yeah. That's a good point. That's a good point. That's a good point. What is your favourite, before we move past Amrum, what is your favourite Amrum moment? Because mine is him doing the checkers board on the bench, but he's had so many amazing moments. What about him saying he'll be here in 18 months and the next day he's sacked?

12:43Or at the end of last season When he did a speech And said the good times Are coming Yeah that was a good one That was a good one That was Pete man He seems like a nice guy Mate he's so good For the league I'm sick of managers Being boring What's he doing now Just going out of there For a year and a half Back to Portugal He'll probably go back to Portugal It's minus five here He's going to Portugal He's getting class Played golf every day It's not that hot there At the minute Yeah but he's playing golf He's warmer than minus five For ten million quid as well True but that doesn't make it more He was walking out High-fiving his staff Like we did it boys He won't No, but he won't get his payout if he gets another job.

13:14This was 15 degrees, mate. Oh, I thought you would. Check Faro. Would you want a job? F-A-R-O. F-A-R-O. The Algarve. Yeah. Look at that. 18 degrees, mate. No, it's not. It's 12. Where have you read 18? 17 on Friday. He's reading 16 and 8 there. 17 degrees on Friday. Which isn't 18. Sounds like a one-way ticket to Valladolobo, mate. What's Valladolobo? Golf course. Oh, God. Fuck's sake. Anyways Speaking of Maresca Chelsea have appointed Liam Rossini Been doing an okay Six years Absolutely mental Okay job at Strasbourg What are they doing? There has to be some weird Pre-clause What are they doing?

13:49In that contract or something Actually I don't know What they're doing They're so intent They're so intent On playing this like This new This new young Up and coming like Project that we've got Going on with the players And the manager If it don't work It's fucking Honestly it's bizarre Liam Rossini is getting Probably more money Of his payout Than he's ever earned In his life Look I hear I hear good things about him being a good coach and all this but bottom line is he did a half decent job as an assistant at Derby he half failed at all didn't get him in the playoffs after spending quite a lot of money it's Strasbourg are what 13th yeah it's crazy they're like a mid table what are they even in the top division Strasbourg yeah Liga they are Liga they're mid okay 7th they're 7th in Liga that's actually pretty good for Strasbourg he took them to Europe last season yeah what's the Chelsea fan reaction to this cause like I think they're split cause this thing like I feel like it's It's going to be another situation where you don't realise how good you had it with Mureska.

14:40Because I can't remember who I heard saying it, but I agree. That Chelsea team, obviously you look at all the money they've spent, but it has zero experience in it. And that's probably where you've seen a bit of inconsistency. I feel like you're going to realise the grass is not greener. Do you not think with such a young squad, they do need just an older bloke in charge? Yeah. They said that as well. I don't remember who I listened to. How old is Liam Rossini? 41. Early 40s. Younger manager though. He's a young manager. He's 41. Ask a young manager. I think it's in terms of experience as well.

15:09He's not coming from a Real Madrid, is he? Not for a top club either. I think it's a bizarre appointment. Look, it may work, but that wouldn't be my choice, especially for six years. Also, Callum McFarlane, I don't know if this is true or am I falling for it? Apparently, he only got his badge to the first team building last week. I don't know. I have no idea. He was managing a college one a few years ago. Really? He's quite new. He made great tactical changes. That's class for him. He's very new into the professional level, I think. But he made good tactical changes with a substitute. Yeah, he did all right.

15:46On the other side, it's good to have an English manager getting a big opportunity. That's true. It doesn't happen too often. So I wouldn't mind him doing well. I hope he does. I really want him to do well. I'm just very sceptical of it. I just think... It's a big job. Sometimes it's just staring you in the face for disaster, isn't it? and Chelsea are ruthless as we've seen who would your choices be then if you mentioned that you wouldn't have chosen him I don't imagine you would have who do you pick but Chelsea manager again Chelsea would have been Xavi do you think you'd take that possibly I don't know I don't really know what he's up to I think he's just not like like Spain you know what I mean could they not could they not have gone and got Inzaghi from Saudi it's not too much money yeah that'll be a big break how much money do you need He'd pay 50 million and break his contract.

16:36And then also he wouldn't leave because then he'd have to pay tax. Yeah. Don't say so stupid now. Come on, Tom. This is the start of the year. I'm thinking of it in a footballing sense. That's not how life works, Tom. I think there is an issue where it's like those managers aren't too common at the moment. Everyone's sort of got a situation. Could they not have gone back to Frank? Nah, he needs to stick with Paul. He's in a good moment at the minute as well. I feel like there'll be such a big mistake for him to just take that leap again. Build Coventry up, get him in the Prem, survive in the Prem that's a great way of having to build himself out how do you see United and Chelsea now faring for the rest of the season will they get a new manager bounce I don't know I feel like Man United might trail off I think Chelsea will stay around because they have people being very in and out they have the quality to see them over compared to Man United I think Man United do a little bit being in and out for both teams because where the league is could still get them Europe I think we'll see an improvement in Man United to be fair there is a bigger scope because if you do change the system you could see a nice quick click.

17:35Manu will probably come in the team now. Do you think the new manager will change the system straight away though? Yeah. I think you get the fans straight away. Maybe not straight away. The players have spent half the season playing this one way drilled in every day. Yeah, maybe not straight away but I think eventually it'll get to four at the back. Because if you go instantly straight away the players are like what the hell? Yeah, it could be a situation where they see an instant improvement just off because Chelsea I don't know what crazy change they could make compared to Man United. We've got Esteval and Palmer.

18:05I can do anything. I know, but like... Palmer back on the right. That's what they need to do. Yeah, but where would Esteval play? Down the middle. He's a natural 10. Is he? Yeah. Yeah. Say swear down. Swear down. Shut up, bro. And Palmer's better off the right. Say trust. Shut up, you freak. Yeah, anyways. Can I ask you a quick question on Chelsea? If you look at since 2022, 2021, they've only won the Conference League in the world, at the Club World Cup. No really big name managers since Thomas Tuchel. Pochettino are the only one. Are they in danger of losing touch with the biggest clubs in the world?

18:42Or do you think they're still there? I think that would still take a few years. The world champions? They are world champions. It depends where they finish this season. If they drop out of Europe this season, then yeah. But I still think Chelsea have got the quality to get them through games. I honestly think Rossini will be all right. I think he is a good coach. But I just think in terms of even just little things like I could just see him being bullied on the sideline by an Arteta and a Pep and these big boys I just feel like they're I know it sounds weird but just having the stature it's like when you watch Spurs and it's like Thomas Frank it's not very inspiring see Arteta's up and down the touchline he's got Pep I just feel like he just doesn't fill me with inspiration but it tends to be his backroom staff as well and actually because he's got such a young squad he probably will feel like a proper figurehead in that team but Chelsea in my opinion Chelsea shouldn't be a project they're one of the biggest clubs in the world they should be looking to win and dominate not build young players up like they're not they're not Brentford or Brighton do you know what I mean I feel like the whole project thing is just a weird it's a weird way if you inject some experience into that team who would you sign you know what I mean if you wanted to bring in someone who's a bit older I said Lazaro Martinez or go and get Gay in centre half who did Terry said who was it the centre back Thiago Silva how old's he now he's about 43 he's like 40 that Terry was on about the other day he was like get Thiago Silva in fucking shut up you dickhead or just get Terry to lace his boots again fuck it why not he's still in Brazil no he's at Fluminese is he bring him back 41 lads he's only 41 Porto he's at Porto when did he go Porto he's obviously just January oh it's because he's their off season is it maybe I imagine they went to San Diego fuck knows but yeah I mean interesting times for both clubs I think it's I don't even I don't even know if you could say exciting times it's a bit it's fun for us to watch on the outside I feel like oh it's exciting for us on the outside but he's 41 just joined I don't know what experienced person could do but they definitely need that I reckon he's done that to try and get in the Brazil squad unless he's retired but he seems to have a guy that just wouldn't retire from international football I don't know or just come back for another World Cup or just come out of retirement.

21:00I don't know. No idea. Moving on to the Premier League review. Woo! Oh, fuck, I love your show so much. Oh, Reeves did a really good job in a production show, didn't he? Can you just talk? Arsenal-Valmouth. That was a bit of a stress, I won't lie. Good game. I watched it. Mate, Arsenal have actually started to be quite exciting. Yeah, I told you this time. I've really enjoyed, I've enjoyed watching Arsenal lately. You've been helping do that, dragging players out of position and all that. Not Yocker-Ed. Stop, stop the Yocker-Ed. I have a theory. No, no, no. We had an open discussion before the show.

21:29We save it, we save it. What's your theory though? I have a theory that defenders are actually going to stop Mark and Jokerez because they're going to realise how useless he is. He doesn't even make runs to get into position. It's not going to be dragging anyone out of position. They'll be like, fucking leave it. How many of the last games has he been dragged at like 60 minutes? It's embarrassing. He won't be starting in a few weeks. It's embarrassing, honestly. One clear difference with Arsenal this season is obviously the strength off the bench. You know, we bought on Saka, we bought on Trossard, bought on Gabriel Jays.

21:56That made such a difference. Saka's down the line whilst you've still got injuries as well yeah Saka down the line cutting it back to Declan Rice we said it didn't we say at the start of the season well I might have said it Declan Rice is the best midfielder in the league and when he starts adding goals to his game which he's starting to do now he's just going to go up to a different he's in the league of his own he's just so fucking like clutch I'm just so glad fair play to Arteta to be fair but I'm so glad they're not playing him in the six anymore yeah he's better in the eight he just let him we saw this in the Euros Yeah, let him run free.

22:29He was a six. No, but I mean, but the way he ran with the ball, he progressed the ball so well. I hope England don't play him that way. We need to play him in the eight. But we haven't been. We play him in the eight. Tuchel's been playing Anderson behind him, hasn't he? But I just hope he don't get there. And he goes, I need to fit Rice and Bellingham in, so I'll play Rice in the six. No, play him in the eight. He's the best eight in the world at the minute. He's there for big moments as well. It's not like, he's so clutch. He doesn't shy away from anything. He's my favourite kind of player. He's my favourite player He doesn't I love him He goes and make things happen Yeah Like he doesn't ever hide Yeah Declan Rice will never Ever go missing He's got the exact mentality You want in your team He's got the aggression He's got the He's got every attribute As a footballer And also mentally Yeah He's a winner That is rubbing off on I think it's rubbing off On Erdegaard a little bit I think he's starting To raise his game I spoke like this With him on the stream The other day He's been one of my favourite Players in the last few games Erdegaard He's finally Just like Intent every time he got the ball every time he got the ball against Bournemouth he'd like pick it up deep play a little one-two get it back play another one-two and then you're in the final third and I'm like why hasn't he been doing instead of just beside us he's finally like playing within ten he's passed down the line to Saka as well mate Erdegaard is arguably the most technical player in the Premier League he's got so much ability but I don't know if maybe the injury he's been thinking oh mate I need to do more I need to give more maybe Rice is rubbing off on him maybe Zubimendi's giving him the free reign I don't know what it is also having Eze like a bit of competition from him seeing him having those big moments.

23:56But now finally, Odegaard, which has always been my criticism of him, in the final third, don't go, again, mate, I know these aren't massive games, but we'll wait until you play a big team, see if he goes hiding again. But the last few games, mate, he's stepped up and in the final third has been playing with intent and I like it a lot. If you look through the Arsenal team, I'm just looking at the starting line-up, you've got a lot of players who do play like that and play with a bit of aggression, like Gabriel Sliba, Madweke does. Even Atimba, Madweke, Rice, even Jokic players play with aggression, do you know what I mean like they are robbing off that's what I mean because he's never been like that he's always Erdogan I've always thought is if there were no goals he'd be the best player in the world like the best player in the world like genuinely because he'll keep the ball all day you can't get the ball off him but when it actually comes to oh shit we need to score now Martin oh no I want to keep the ball I like this but do you think Arsenal make any moves in January I don't think you need to you don't need to we have a second letter but like Jesus I was looking at your team I mean I'd get a strike if it was down to me but then you're not gonna I was looking at your team and the depth it is just like a perfect trophy winning team like you haven't got too many players where it's unhappy everyone's gonna get their minutes and the quality is just like unbelievable and I hate to say it even I'm starting to come around and thinking they are the best team it feels different this year they are the best team it doesn't you don't look like no earlier on there was still wobbles but you don't look like a team who's gonna give this up there's always gonna be wobbles throughout the season City will get close at one point They might get ahead.

25:23I feel like there's a different feel. I do think sometimes Arsenal are held to a bit of a ridiculous standard, but that's only because you've had to have a ridiculous standard to win the league in recent years, whereas this year I don't think you do. City are dropping points left, right and centre. You're going behind in games and still winning pretty comfortably. But City will always be there throughout the season. They'll drop points and they'll still be there. Villa is still winning. But Arsenal plays City in April. It's a big, big game. They need to be in touch and distance of you for that game to try and put pressure on.

25:51I wouldn't back City to win that game. I don't think they will. I think they'll be too far gone. At that point, I feel like they'll be like a few points off you and it won't be that. But there is that pressure of if they had only four points, they win it to one point. Your only issue will become juggling all the competitions because you're probably going to go far in all the competitions. And that's tough, man. For a team who hasn't won ever, under Arteta, you've never won, to suddenly be in all four competitions, latter stages that's a bit of a how do you juggle this that'll really test that's why I really really really hope we push for the league up that's why you've got the depth we need the league up I really think mate I'm telling you now that Champions League is there to be won you might do the quad imagine we do the quad you might do the quad I swear if you do the quad that would be so the Champions League is there to be won Barca can be got at Madrid aren't the same team Bayern look good but you dispatch them Chelsea aren't the same City don't look the same Liverpool are crap who else is that Inter aren't the same team Arsenal are by far the best team in Europe yeah like if you don't win a treble this year he's got to go fuck off I'm starting fingers there it can't go wrong for me though can it it can Bournemouth I mean they weren't exactly they weren't bad are we really going to keep playing they've been so bad for so long Bournemouth and they're losing their talisman the man so I don't know what the can he start playing Krupe Junior man he's unreal yeah he's got like hasn't he got like one point something goals per game his goal was unreal wasn't it yeah it was a fucking unbelievable strike Bournemouth though are just I'd be a little bit worried if I was them they're only above Leeds do you remember what I said about Franco about how you know at Brentford you can go eight games without winning and no one really picks up on it but as soon as you get to a club like a Spurs no one's talking about Eriola at the minute they are crap four points behind Palace when's the last time they won Bournemouth 11 games ago it's disgusting I think 11 games ago but do you know what anytime anyone loses a job everyone's like Iriola's doing a good job at Bournemouth is he?

28:00yeah no it's crazy because at the start of the season they were right up there weren't they they had a good start of the season but remember I know we talked about their recruitment this summer was good to rebuild their defence but they did they had a tough summer they lost three three out of their back I'm not saying he should be doing better. Bournemouth I think should be around there. They've got a few good players. They lost a lot of players. Blah, blah, blah. But they have been shocking for a while now. Yeah. I don't think they'll finish ninth. And I think the scoreline made them look better than they were against you.

28:35I think it was pretty comfortable actually in the end. Other than a wonder goal at the end which made it 3-2 and a goal you gave them. Yeah. I think I'd be a bit worried. By the way, sorry. Cherry Gabriel comes back from injury scores next game scores I know you made the mistake but he scores he is the best centre-back in the world Reeves to take at the start of the season might end up being right but we can never admit it I think he's because Gabriel I think he's more important than Rice no he's not I think you noticed when Gabriel was out no no no no Rice was out last week and we still won like what was the score Villa he missed the Villa game didn't he do you know what I mean yeah fair enough you watched him more than me Bryce is our best player, but I think Gabriel is our most important player.

29:17He does seem like a bit of the glue. Yeah, I wouldn't. I think he's the best centre-back in the world. Oh. I don't think that's crazy at all. I don't think that's crazy. I think I'm crazy with how Van Dijk's doing these days. It's not... Anyone in Europe, really? I mean, like, you have Patreon stuff, but I don't really... I don't watch them enough. I think you might be right. Champions League as well. Newcastle 2-0. Comfortable against Palace, wasn't it? Palace... No, it wasn't. First half was a bit... 2-0. First half was a bit... We watched it together. Did you watch the game? I did on match of the day.

29:45Yeah, you wouldn't have seen... It wasn't that comfortable. I mean, we... It was in the end. It was in the end, but they had a few shaky moments. They were giving the ball away a lot, weren't you? Well, Lewis Hall had an off game. He'd give it away a lot. Tonali wasn't himself. He hasn't been for a few weeks, which is a bit concerning. Gordon was rubbish. Bruno Tavissa was a really nice... Lewis stood up in the pub. We weren't drinking because we were doing dry Jan. Yeah. Because when you do dry Jan, you have to let everyone know. Yeah, I'm doing dry Jan. No, I'm doing dry. Oh, not dry. fully dry fully dry man stone dry Lewis actually stood up in the pub and clapped when Gordon come off did I I don't recall that and said get the fuck off my pitch honestly I like Gordon Law but he's not been at his top level for a while for Newcastle he's been good for England Harvey Barnes as soon as he it's not it's not a coincidence that Harvey Barnes came on we scored two fairly quickly should have had three and he set the one up didn't he pretty much should have had three is it not I don't know if I'm too hot I think Volta Marder's good, but is it not night and day of Visser up front?

30:42It's more... No, they're just... They're so different. They're so much better. The way Bruno G can just feed him in and he just peels it off. Yeah, he's like... Visser's profile is so similar. It's more similar anyways to his... Yeah. That is Piers. And also he can press. Like, Volta Marder used to have to drop so Tenali would press for him. It didn't work. Yeah. I feel like the future is getting a third striker and playing like... Three up. No, playing Visser off the back of Volta Marder. Also, it's a good option to have because you can play, I don't know, if you go to Man City away, you may want to have that pinpoint striker or you may want the, or you may want the pacing behind.

31:12You can fluctuate. But also at home, if you play Burnley, you can play both. Vultemar was good. Vultemar can play that 10-roll colony and like, I think... Vultemar came on and he was perfect in the moment and like slowing it down, tackle the ball, like retain possession. So he's great for that. Bruno had another unbelievable performance. He's had his best ever season. I think it makes you less predictable having the two because with just It's Vultimada, which you had to play. Yeah. Everyone knows how you're going to play. He's going to hold the ball up. He's going to link up. And as centre-halves, that's quite easy.

31:41That's a nice day. You don't want people running. Vultimada's never facing goal. He's always back to goal. Exactly. Which defenders like. Sorry, but we played through Wisser with a through ball. It's the first time I've seen us play a through ball and actually go through our goal this season. It felt weird to watch. He was unlucky with that, wasn't he? I think you look better with Wisser. Palace, however. Brennan Johnson got his debut. Had a decent chance at one point as well. It's a good signing. They need numbers, don't they? They just look so depleted. Yeah, I think they were all right in spells, Padres.

32:13They were okay in spells. They played the most games this season out there in Premier League, Tim. Yeah. And you can tell, can't you? And they probably travelled the most with all the away games in the Conference League. But the Palace will be fine. They're 12th, as they always am. That's where they'll finish. What about Spurs? They're shit. They need to get rid of him. I don't know. I can't believe he's still in a job. They're so bad. Level on points with Palace. They're so bad to watch. I can't believe I've backed it. They're so, so bad to watch. You backed him, didn't you? Yeah, I'm backing him so bad.

32:38I gambled on Frank and he's not here. I think sometimes you just need to listen to Tommy. Yeah, I think I am. Tommy! By the way, sorry. Brobby. What a finish. That goal is unbelievable. The way he does a one-two round the corner with Le Fay. I will say, though. And that's the left-foot strike. That was dog shit from Romero, that. Oh, I don't know. Why does he jump to Le Fay? He doesn't need to. He doesn't need to jump. But the pace they play That one too Exactly So let it Broby If Romero holds his position That goal doesn't happen Yeah He underestimated Broby He makes it easy No Theo Two things can be true It's a good goal But it's also crap defending From Romero We've backed Romero as well No yeah Look I just think it was really rash To jump We didn't need to jump out Let you Let your holding mids Cover that Let Lefebvre I just thought it was really rash jumping out and it left a massive gap the same happened with Canarte the Fulham game jumped out and then Wilson makes the third man run and he's in I just think sometimes just hold your position hey I'm the first Romero hater here so I'm all over that yeah I just he's a great finish Brobby's good man he's caused a lot of defenders issues this season I like him good at finishing as well and Enzo Le Fay Enzo Le Fay he's got a goal and assist in nearly every game I'm being a bit pedantic he's the top he's the top of the league it's a lot like they've only lost only Arsenal have lost a few games as Sunderland pardon level on losses with City am I right yeah level on losses with City yeah Sunderland are a good team man they're drawing and again they're starting to get their players back as well because they're all fucking dropping out I suppose we've got a lot of injuries you're going to have to change your opinion soon on who's the better team we're only one point off now Sunderland are the better team well you go off the Premier League table momentarily last game before they equalised we were better than Sunderland in your opinion no they're doing good but they need to get a win on the board now can I just say something Frank Xhaka Sunderland had more possession than Spurs did they at the top stage what the fuck is going on and you're telling me Frank needs more time he's not good enough for a club this size he's not good enough did they get in Ryan Mason take him fucking hell like that cannot Tottenham had my XG oh fucking hell yeah trying to find some positives man come on one of them was the tapping from a yard out I just think honestly he's shitting and that Brent I don't know if you watched that Brentford Spurs game I watched the extended highlights of it because my mate is a Spurs fan extended highlights yeah and I wanted to kill myself it was the one the lowest standard of football I've seen in the Premier League is that the 0-0 yeah in years it was just Hoof, hoof, boo It was honestly like Watching a League 2 game Every single player On New Year's Day Was hungover I had Do you know what's interesting No, no, no, no, no Yeah, to be fair Frank and Potter Have both fucked it For other managers Doing well at like Those mid-table clubs now Because like They're the two Who have made the step Like I don't know It's the style Frank Yeah, you fancy Areola to do I could see Areola Maybe stepping up Or like Morescas No, Glaz You can't You can't play That style of football Look, I don't know Where my ball is But I'm the oracle For a reason I fucking know football that you cannot play this style of football at a big club it doesn't work it's not sustainable it's never been done Frank please do well because that clip would be amazing if you won the league just do some it they'll get they'll get Solanke back he'll help they're doing better than last season Tom when Solanke back they're 13 they're below Everton he's never back I won't be below Everton oh Palace aren't 12 they're 14 do you know who might catch them though Wolves They won a game Well done Wolves Again I actually watched The whole game of that Wolves were good But West Ham My God Goodbye West Ham Like you're worse than Wolves They cannot stay up They won't stay up They genuinely won't stay up Tell you who's really good for Wolves Mane Tolu Oh we'll get on to him Yeah we will get on to him Tolu up front was really good for them Oh yeah I didn't know you were on a ball there Arias finally had a good game But I don't think there's a coincidence You know, last couple of games against, you played like Man Utd and Liverpool or something, haven't you?

36:58Mane started all of them. Go on into this as normal. He's really good. He's been the difference, mate. He's really good. He's like 100 % been the difference. He's really, really good. He's only 18, is he? 17, I think. 17? 16? Is he 18? Strun Larson needs to not start. I don't know what's going on. But he didn't. Yeah, but when Strun Larson come on, when he come on, he looks all right. I think the competition with Tolu is maybe giving him a kick up the arse. Or maybe he's trying to play for a move. Wolves have got some shining lights. Kredski's good. He's been good. Is this shining light or is this just a moment of hope that kills you in football, Tom?

37:39Wolves are still going to get that one. Will they break Derby's record? No, I don't think they will. I think they'll beat it. You think they'll get five points? No, no, I think they'll beat it. I could see them beating. Do you think they'll finish above West Ham is more the question? Wolves will probably get a couple more wins in a couple of draws. They are still shit. Will we finish above Burnley? Do you not think there's a scope for them to sell Strand Larson to use the funds to try and... Yeah, I would sell him. That could help. I would sell him. But then they have the choice of, do we sign players preparing for relegation or do we try and risk it and sign players?

38:13Bangor's decent as well. And do you know what? You looked all right at the back for once. thank Focky Spain Sarr because Johnston good lord must be a good day for you then it was a poor hate watch but yeah I think Wolves looked they looked alright they looked alright speaking of teams that look alright Aston Villa second in the league yeah six points behind Arsenal level on point or third in the league sorry for a goal difference they played well the other day actually against Forrest Watkins goal was great that Forrest goalkeeper what the fuck is he doing number one you're not even closer to the ball than the opposing player.

38:47Number two, you have like two defenders there as well. Why the fuck are you coming out? Am I going mad? Why is Sells not playing? Is he injured? Is Matt Sells injured? No, he came on, didn't he? No warm-up. He came on with no warm-up. Why is he not playing him? He came on with no warm-up. Because this fucking Victor... It just made zero sense. Like, you're further away from the ball than your defenders and the opposing player. Guess his rating on FopMob. 5.2. 3.8. Jesus. Can I say something? It wasn't even that, by the way. Sorry. You know the Watkins goal? He should have saved that. Yeah. It's right at him or right next to him.

39:26Do you not think he's faked an injury after that? Out of embarrassment. I don't mind that. I felt a bit bad, actually, a little bit. He went off crying. Good. He actually was crying. No, he's out until mid-January. I don't know. He did go off crying. I've been there. Yeah, we saw you crying on the telly, mate. Fuck off. Get off the pitch, you big babby. I know how you feel. You big baby. Can Villa win the league? Are they in the title race? Well, they're in the title race. Yeah. They are. I mean, if City are, they are, but... When will it end? They're on the exact same record as City. Can they sustain their goal scoring from outside the box?

39:59No, their depth isn't good enough. I think they'll finish top four, though. But what else if they keep scoring from outside the box? They might keep doing it. Did you watch the Arsenal-Villa game? Yeah. Second half, Arsenal. No, first half you didn't. I know, but they could have... Villa should have been two or three up in that first half. I can't believe it. You actually Emery'd, Emery. You actually played Villa at their own game, that game. You kind of let them have the first half and then you just second half went kaboom. Booyah. They just couldn't get a shot on goal but they were in the areas in that game.

40:31No, Villa looked good. They looked really good. Watkins has found his form again finally. So I think it'll be top four for them. They can have a little fun run challenging for the title but I do just think Arsenal are going going to start to run away with it if I'm honest. Successful hit watch here though. What a last six, seven minutes. Fulham, 2-2 Liverpool. It's sexy though. What are you doing? Six, seven minutes. We're not bringing that into the new year. We've left that. We left that in 2025. I think that may be goal of the season. I only saw the hard like this because we were watching the Newcastle game.

41:08No, we saw the goal live. The way Harrison Reid strikes that ball. I don't know who was the better team or nothing. Yeah, it was a great goal. It was beautiful. But he shouldn't have had that much time, should he? Was this the one where he was off? They switched off from the throwing. No one went out to press him, did they? They thought they were going to go in and then no level player just reacted. Yeah. Am I right to think that Wurz was offside here as well? No, it's the wrong angle. The line's a bad angle. No, actually, so it's actually both. He is offside. He is offside. No, he is offside, but because the lines are thicker, he's onside in the Prem.

41:41So if that was in Europe, he's offside. I hear football. Does that make sense? I think that's better Does that make sense? I don't mind It's like 5cm No no no We saw a still image Where he's so blatantly offside What the fuck's happened there? It's the wrong image I think they've done The grass wrong It's not the grass Look I'll show you I've actually I've screenshotted it But yeah It's the 5cm thing So he's offside in Europe But he's onside It's to give the attackers The advantage Which is Leads more goals Slott's face After that goal went in Is so funny Like oh my god It's amazing By the way Virts is actually Starting to pick up A few goals He's always going to get good He's technically good enough He just needs to be Get used to the league In it Which just seems like He's not going to be Like a Werner is he I think he just needs A year just to get used To the physicality And he'll be fine He's got the ability People get used to him as well And know what he wants to do Yeah because he's a bit ugly Eketika had a Apparently got a hamstring injury Which no one knew about Yeah that was very Unexpected wasn't it That's troublesome for them Two strikers out Who have they got Who have they started from He'll be back next game It's only a minor He'll be back He'll be minor Minor hamstring Speaking of strikers though he's back with a hat trick Igor can't believe someone that shit just keeps scoring he might be he's ready for the seventh by the way out of nowhere by the way not really they're going to get relegated they have got there out of nowhere they've won nine games there's only four teams who've won more games it's because they got the second best strike in the league up top Igor no yeah I think I was a bit harsh on him he's just kind of his finishes were class he looked so good in that game his finishes were really good fucking immense that 14 goals his conversion is 32 % yeah that's very that is ridiculous best conversion in the league yeah it is well we yeah in the ones who've actually scored a lot of goals but hey goals win your games guys and Scharder's starting Scharder's very Scharder's very like he's either Messi or Messi Lloyd Dier like he's I think Thiago needs to get in that Brazil squad man he'll get in he'll get in he needs to start up top for Brazil in the World Cup if he continues his form I'm happy for Keith Andrews though man and the amount of doubt that people had of him and he's actually made them better.

43:46They're better. Yeah. Because maybe Thomas Frank isn't that fucking good. Will they struggle to keep hold of Thiago, Shard, a few names? I think maybe Thiago, yeah. Where would he go? Man United. I know, in the shop, any striker. Don't go to Spurs. Don't go to Spurs. Stay at Brentford. Don't do that. Don't do that. They've got Solanke. I think any of the top six, seven, yeah. I don't want any of them. Go Arsenal, seriously. Oh, yeah. He'd be good at Arsenal. He'd be better than that, dickhead. Mate, I'll take Thiago in a heartbeat if I'm being perfectly honest. I mean, finally, Brighton, just doing what Brighton do, just picking up points at home against a shit team.

44:23Yeah. Costool, that's the handsome man played well, though. He's fucking good, eh? He's handsome, isn't he? Oh, shit. He's only 18, top. He was my breakout star of the year. He's kind of breaking out. Was he? Yeah. Would you say he's breaking out this season? This year, 2026. I would say, you know, he... He's coming. Oh, yeah. He's saying better now than last year. He is now actually good. So this is his breakout year? Yeah, very... But I had him as my breakout season. Two things can be right. Two things can also be wrong as well. Exactly. Everton. Everton. What are you talking about? They lost 4-2, didn't they?

44:55Yeah, Everton. They're very weird, aren't they? They're a weird team. What's their form like at the moment? I feel like every time I see them, they're losing. Are they on a bad run? Yeah. They beat Man United with 10 men, didn't they? And they won at Forest. they're really inconsistent but they're not really beating the team like they should be beating Burnley Burnley are I'm not just saying this because we beat them but Burnley do have actually they're not bad at home they are good there so that's not the worst question from the producer are Burnley becoming the most boring team with how useless they are in every game season mate it's not as easy as that though is it Burnley don't have Burnley don't have the funds or the size of a they don't have the pull or the funds of a Leeds or Sunderland did you see how fuming Scott Parker was though after the game because like a lot of the losses at least he's basically saying like a lot of the losses like we've tried and like we've played alright they just don't have the quality he said this game against Brighton he said it was just unacceptable yeah they don't have the quality he's right I mean they could have easily picked points up against us they just couldn't hit a barn door so it does come down to a point he's like right I've courted you into these spaces there's only so much Parker can do I mean they haven't won in 11 he could be they could sack him but like the thing is if you are getting into the errors and creating the opportunities nah because when it becomes a pattern it's not unlucky to a point, is it?

46:08But he can't control their finish. If you are creating opportunities, he can, he can. That's what I mean. You can instill more confidence in them. You can get them in better areas to score. There are ways around it, but I wouldn't sack him because... What's the point? I don't think they're going to achieve anything through sacking him. And you'd want him in the championship anyways, wouldn't you? But I do think the Burnley fans aren't happy because obviously the American investors have come in and promised big things. They've come in and been the same as they always am. They still like... I mean, who started?

46:40They've got money like? I don't know. I don't know if they can spend it because they just don't bring enough money in. Do you know what I mean? That's the problem with clubs like that. One of the prior teams that are playing well, not in my son of a... They started Brozier up front. Stop playing Brozier in the Premier League! Foster's away though, isn't he? They've got no choice. Kyle Walker's their captain. Why have they not started Fleming? Is he injured? I don't know. He's injured. Fair enough. Leeds United versus Man United. What a game that was. I really enjoyed that. Leeds, man. Fucking hell.

47:14We got them next. DCL could have scored again. He was unlucky. He was offside though, wasn't it? Oh, was it offside? I think so. Yeah. Get him on the fucking plane. Genuinely. Get him on the plane. I thought he was like 32. Tell me he's 28. He's not even at his best. He's not even at his final form. He's in his prime now. He's coming into his best years. I thought Kunja was good. Do you know who's good when he come on? Xerxi. Zerchi was linking the goal didn't he Zerchi was linking up really well when he come on yeah United defensively United were pad a puff again I thought can we have a serious conversation here as well Sesko he's shit he's worse than Jokeres no he might be he is Tom he might be at least Jokeres helps people get in I back Jokeres to score the chances Sesko wins headers that is true but he's not putting them in the goal is he so it's like no wins headers like to link up he's just wins headers than out of pitch.

48:04Genuinely, the chances that he's missing, it's just like boggling me mind. He's useless. And I'm not saying this because obviously I'm not bitter about not getting him. I'm just thankful we didn't get him in the end. I was at the start of the season, but fuck me, it's just not went well for him. I think it's a tough game. To be honest, I'd love to see him. I think going to Elim Road and getting a point in a big rivalry like that, it's not too bad. Especially with how they're playing. I think it's not a bad result for United. Is it more the performance from Man United? that right there Tom sums up what me and Lewis argue about all the time I'd say that about anyone in the league at the minute going to Ellen Road I think that's a tough game but that shouldn't be Man United standard yeah but it is it is now do you see what I'm saying yeah it is then we've had discussion a lot so instead of being reasonable just going oh well they should win that 4-0 it's just stupid no I agree that's the I don't think if Arsenal went to Leeds and drew 1-1 I'd go that's embarrassing but you agree with our point These are now the club's standards.

49:02Do you see what I'm saying? I've just said the best team in the league, if they went to Ellum Road and drew 1-1, I'd go, fair enough, yeah. It's not a bad result. Leeds are tough to beat at Ellum Road. It's a tough place to go. You would say it's a good result for Man United, but it's not a good result for Arsenal, though. You know what I mean? I wouldn't say it's a good result. I'd say it's not bad. I would say it's a bad result. What, picking up a point away at Leeds? I don't think picking up a point away from home anywhere other than the bottom three is bad. I think for Man United playing this Leeds team, this is a good result.

49:29it's a bad performance but if Arsenal went and did that I think that's a bad result two things can be true at the same time that's so true Luke so it's a good bad performance good result can you imagine the shit you would give Arteta I really wouldn't not with the way Leeds are playing and how they've been I might have some digs in there just for the crack but just out of pure just for the crack but yeah anyway Leeds are Leeds are eight points clear mate fair play to Daniel Falk what a nice guy as well by the way you've completely outdone and done better than I thought you were capable of. So I apologise.

50:04A lot of people are wanting them gone just before you're in. Same amount of goals as Eke TK. He's changed the formation. He started changing a few players. Obviously DCL's forms helped but they're just a tough team to beat, Leeds, at the minute. They're really tough. I know. I'm hoping we really need to get a win against them but it's at home for us so we hope to beat them. I think you'll beat them at home, yeah. I will, yeah. Anyway, that was the Premier League review. Hey, let's review the blimminigme. Right, let's move on. Anyway, I've got a cup of tea now, so shalom, Jackie. Oh! Last week we did...

50:37One player every team should... Buy. And today we're doing one player every team should... Kill. Sell, not kill. I didn't play a movie. You've put some of my mic thing again. I was ready to prime. We're going to walk away from the bottom to the top. Super duper. Start from the bottom now we're here. This is harder because some teams... Shouldn't sell anyone. You should always buy someone, really. but like no one to sell yeah if you want to invest if you want to build some funds up yeah that is some logic I'm trying to use Thomas Garrett some of my teams I just thought they should sell no one so just get rid of some wages I'm not going to lie I put mine down but I'm not really confident by them and I'm going to see how you react but you're starting this new year with unbiased unbiased ball knowledge ball knowledge and smartness yeah and we're going to see off your reactions if that's lasted yeah and with Wolves I'd like to put a name forward please are you going first are we doing teams we're going all going to say Wolves I'm going to kick things off with Sam Johnston because I think Wolves need a better second choice keeper to push Jose Saar out of the number one keeper and I don't think Sam Johnston's the man at the moment I think Saar might leave in the summer though, that's the problem I would have put Saar down You might struggle to sell him But then I don't back Sam Johnston to be the number one keeper You might struggle to actually find someone who'd sign him I've put Strand Larsson, I'd cash in now I went Strand Larsson as well That's the easy option though Sometimes the easy option is the right option they need to use those funds don't they they're not going to get much money for Sam Johnson and they've got strikers who are performing now after the last game and how many goalies are going to want to get to Wolves and also the wages that Sam Johnson's on it's like a 22 strand Larson because do they give up hope that they're going to save up okay they do give up they should have sold for 60 to us they would have by the way they would have robbed us if they keep him they're going down if they sell him they're going down yeah when they go down he might have a clause where they have to sell him for 15 or 20 mil they will be They probably will get rid of him.

52:27It's cut price to 40 now. I'm scared they tempt us back in. I don't want him. Okay, we're all going to agree on Strand Larson. We don't all have to agree. No, I do agree. No, we do. I do agree. Strand, you're out. You're gone. Burnley. Fucking hell. Brozier. Yeah, well. He's alone. Technically, you're alone. I did put Terminator Brozier's loan, but I do have a player. We did agree on that before the show. I'll go Marcus Edwards in. Oh, what? It's been crap. He's just like, he's probably a championship player. They're all shit. Josh Lauren. Why? I don't know. I've got... He's a championship player.

53:02He's a championship player. He's like 30. Just get a bit of money. He's not necessarily important. I struggled with Burnley. I've got Ashley Barnes. He's not going to... He's 36. He's 33, I think. No, he's not. Sell him to the national. Why is he on the wages? He's never going to play. He won't be on much wages. He won't be in the championship. He won't play in the championship. Yeah, he probably will. Fucking hell. He's 36. Yeah, get rid of him. he's not going to sign for a new club he'll retire he won't retire he will that's a stupid suggestion twice this season do you know what I mean yes he's still being used what have you said Josh Lauren he's 30 you get money for him he's 30 and he's like average championship standard who's Brogier on loan from Chelsea he's still Chelsea that's all I'm saying you're not allowed to sell a loan player I hate Brogier Brogier if you're watching this it is personal we all said Brogier before the show then we were like we can't because he's loaned can't believe he's still playing in the Prem He's 24 He's been around for years Oh don't get me starred on him Oh wait no he signed He signed penalty Has he?

54:02I thought he had Oh Wait wait Is it a loan to buy? I'm going to say A few weeks ago we talked about He's like their second most expensive signing ever Yeah but I was going to say I thought Broger Yeah Broger's the obvious answer then Yeah we'll make sure you cut out When we all mentioned about the loan Yeah so we don't look stupid No leave it I got a good one for West Ham Ward Prowse Get him out Just get him out man I've got a rogue one I have Go on Bowen I've got Bowen as well First of all He's been crap this season He hasn't been that bad Yeah but you don't Sell Bowen Second of all They're probably going to go down If they go down He's gone Again he's probably got A release clause in his contract Where But Tom If they sell Bowen But if they sell Bowen That's them Residing to go Relegate Yeah you can't do that Definitely sell him in the summer For sure But if they sell him in January No no You could probably get 60 million for Bowen I know but it does and reinvest it.

54:53If they sell him in January... No, it's not that you can reinvest it. I've got Bowen, but sell him in the summer. If they sell him in January, the board have basically said to the fans, guys, we're going down. I think selling them in January... Imagine the ripple effect that I would have in the five years and the team. Sell him in the summer. It's all about selling them this season. You sell them. Yeah, but Theo, if they go down, which they're probably gonna, Bowen will be at a cut price. Yeah, no, but they're not gonna sign a player of Bowen's quality. Imagine your club gives up. Because if they sell him in January, Tom, that's what they're gonna do.

55:21But also, do you think with that 60 mil, they're going to be able to sign people of proper quality who are going to come to a team in the relegation zone? You could get three players for 60 mil. No, but they wouldn't be good players. Good players. What good players are going to sign for West Ham? He hasn't been their best player this season. You don't watch West Ham, Theo. What good players are going to sign for West Ham? No, he hasn't. Fernandes has been their best player before. No, he hasn't. No, he hasn't. He really has. Ask any West Ham fan. All right. Okay, whilst he does that, realistically, there's no good players who are going to sign for West Ham who pretty much lost their best player and resigned for relegation.

55:53I think... You're not going to get good players who are going to keep you up. I just think... Come on, Tom. They might as well give up. Tom, come on. You can't give up. Come on. Why? That is... Because then you... I don't think my app knowledge in that much of a stigma that is. If you give up... You seem to put your phone down when you check to see who's been the best player. I just messaged. I just messaged my West Ham friend and he doesn't reply instantly. When he replies, I'll say. Who's your West Ham friend? Harry G film. Or Ethan. I'll message both. Ring him, ring Ethan now and ask. Go on.

56:56Does he even watch him though? probably going to get 20 mil. He will have a relegation call. It's like when we went down with Johnny Evans, we rejected like 20 odd mil. And then we went down and we got rid of him for six. No, but Tom, it kills your call. Them giving up the Premier League money to championship money, like you'd lose more than that. Like you're worth risking that loss because you'd have that loss regardless if you sell it. I hear that if West Ham had a chance to stay in. Right. It's okay. Right. They're shit. Imagine West Brom, right? Are going to get relegated. Six goals. They need goals, mate.

57:27Yeah, he's their top goal scorer. And plus with two new strikers, he might actually be able to cook. Imagine if West Brom have a superstar on their team. Well, not even a superstar, do you know what I mean? Just like... We did with Pereira. But imagine in January... And we sold him at a cut price because we went down. This is not... It's more and more mental than I think about it. But would you not rather your team go down fighting? No, by the way, it is mental. No, because genuinely, if you sell them and get relegated, they're losing that on Premier League TV money. The cut price, the money they gave...

57:51So he'd rather gamble just stay up. They're losing that anyways. No, but... My point is, if you sell Boeing in January, you probably get 50 million. Yeah. If you go down, you're going to lose, they're going down anyway whether they're selling or not. So you lose in the premium, but you get parachute payments, so that's fine. Oh, come on. No, you do. No, but I'm saying, do you understand how it works? No, I know the parachute payments, but I'm saying, if you sell Boeing in the summer when you're in the championship, you will most likely get no more than 25 million because he'll have a release clause.

58:18West Ham are like one point off, like not being in the relegation zone. They're going to sell the best player. Is it? Yeah, that's well done. No. They're pretty adrift. I think it's five. Four. Sell the whole team then. What? Let's go on the next one. We've done enough of West Ham. Mate, Paquette will go. Paquette is another one. He hasn't been great either. But he'll go. If they get relegated, he's gone. Yeah, I mean, yeah, it is what it is. They're going to get pillaged. Forrest? Oh, who have I got for Forrest? I got Chris Wood. He's injured to the end of the season. I know. Sell him. Are you saying Borg at the end of the season?

58:54Sell him at the end of the season. He's not going to be back in the team. I thought we were on about January sales. No, it's this season. He said born for the end of the season. Yeah. I actually agree with the Chris Wood shout. I know he's injured at the moment, but I just don't think he's the future of West Ham. How old is he? You're not going to get much. There's a lot of teams who will take him. I think Premier League teams will go after him. I've got Malenkovich. I definitely think a, or get cash in for him. I don't, I think he's crap. I think a promoted side. I think you could fill some teams to spend 30 million on Chris Wood, 25 million.

59:20No, maybe not 30. No. How old is he? I think he's more like 15. Oh, he's like 14. That's like 15 million. What? You're getting 15 million for Chris Wood? A 34-year-old Chris Wood. Did you mean 15? No, I didn't think he was 34 years old. Maybe, yeah, maybe. No, you get 10 mil. I think Milenkovic, because he's crap, and I think you could still probably get a decent bit of money for him. Murillo? No, Murillo's all right. Get even more money for him. Yeah, but they need him. They don't need Milenkovic, he's shit. Need. Yeah, this one's hard, because I don't think they should sell anyone. I don't think they should sell anyone.

59:55I've got Melia. Oh, what? Why do you sound so sad? Because he doesn't play and he's crap. I like Melia because he's a young keeper. He's like, okay. I guess they have no one to sell. I just put Borgl down because he's got two assists this year but he's just a bit naff. He's a decent backup. I agree. But I had to put someone... Melia's crap. I had to put someone. I was just thinking of who they could... And they've got a good goalkeeper. I think as a backup keeper though, Melia's a good choice. I don't think they should... I don't... Oh, G-Film said Bowen 100%. I don't agree with him. I don't think he has good ball knowledge.

1:00:30I thought, who could they cash in on? Who's one of their most important players? I've put Stroke, Stroke, Stroke. Why would they sell him? I was thinking end of the season if they go down. He's one of their best players. That's my point. You could get money for him. We're talking about... Pascal Straub. Yeah, I'm thinking who's one of their best players? Him. When you go down or if they go down. I'm just trying to think. I don't think they should sell anyone. I think they should keep everyone. I'm saying, who could you get money for? Pascal Strouk. Strouk. I know, but they don't necessarily need money.

1:00:58We're talking about who can you cash in on? Do you really think Forrest is a good shout? I understand what you're saying, but they're not in a position where they're trying to cash in necessarily. There's loads of shouting. I thought about Jack Harrison, but then I'm like, he's just like a decent squad player. You're not going to get a lot of money for him. Pascal Strouk's one of their best players. That's my point. You can cash in on him. Just like Milenkovich. Good. No, but Milenkovich is crap. No, you don't sell your, you know what I mean it's like well Leeds don't need to cash in well they might do if they go down they're not going to go down they're not looking like they're going down he's a Premier League player like his argument your argument for West Ham is because they're probably going down Leeds I don't understand why we're doing players to sell in the summer when we don't know what's happening in the summer I haven't really done that I've done more January that makes no sense to me guessing what people are going to we don't know the state of clubs in the summer surely we do it now selling Strout now would be suicide well yeah I agree on that.

1:01:54You should have went with Borgel, mate, with me. I don't think they should fucking sell anyone. I know that's a lot, but I went Borgel. I went back. They could sell Joel Pirro, who's the top scorer in the championship last year and they can't get a game at the minute because they've got other players. They've got Okafor, they've got Kavaluin, they've got Nemetra. They shouldn't sell Kavaluin. No, but he's saying they're the players ahead of the players. Joel Pirro's fourth choice in the minute. He was top scorer in the championship last year. You could probably get that. I actually changed my mind.

1:02:18I'll go with him. I can't believe you said that. I'm going to sell the best player. You understand what I'm trying to say. You can get the most money for it. That was my thought process. But they don't need money here. They're doing well. You know what I mean? You're being mental. I don't think they should sell anyone. But they could. Neither do I. That's why I said Borgal. Jack Harrison the other week. There's a lot of players you could. Is Harrison permanent? I thought he was loaned again. He was loaned out to teams, wasn't he? I would have put Harrison, but I thought he was logged in so I got confused by the sign every time he plays he just seems alright yeah but like he's 29 he wanted out you could get you could probably get 10 mil for him right Bournemouth this one's a bit hard I just pushed the menu that's the menu but then that goes against the argument that completely goes against the argument you've had with me he's their best player they shouldn't sell him but he wants to leave Pascal Strauch isn't asking to leave they shouldn't sell him Tom do you see what I'm saying but they should when you've got a player who doesn't want to be there And then they could get 60, 70 million for him.

1:03:16They could get just the same in summer. No, they can't because he goes down. What do you mean it goes down? His release clause goes down in the summer. Release clause. Fair enough. They shouldn't sell him still though. They should. Yes, they should because they're going to get less money in the summer. So they're cashing in now while he's the hottest. He's wanted. It's heavily breached. He's wanted by one of the best clubs in the league. He wants to leave. I think that's a player you should sell. Yeah. They sell some menu. Strauch isn't asking to leave with a release clause that's going to get a hand in the summer.

1:03:47I can't believe you put it by the way. It's so bad. My only thought process was who could they sell for the most money? But they don't need money. That was my thought process. But there's loads of, they've got better players than that, they could sell. Yeah, they could sell it for fucking loads and get someone as well. Imagine a football club like that. It's like, right, who's our most valuable player? Sell them. Yeah. Brighton, that's how the Brighton works. And they're like, I don't want to leave. That's how Brighton works. Yeah, but they all want to leave. That's how Brighton work They do fucking good actually No but they want to leave Like Kaysado wants to leave No they didn't Kaysado was like I wouldn't want to go to Chelsea please They sell a hundred million pound player Every season Yeah but Kaysado's like I'd like to go to Chelsea please You know what about Pascal Poor Pascal loves his life He doesn't want to leave He's like a Leeds legend He's like I'm really good lads For Bournemouth I obviously agree to Menil But to just be more interesting I threw on Unal Because he barely plays And when he does play He doesn't fucking score He's like Brogier 2.0 Sell him and get an actual striker in He's back up He's shit wonder what Krupy Jr.

1:04:39Yeah, well, exactly. Donny Dunal is shit. Yeah, he is bad, didn't he? I've had a look. He's played like 18 games a season. Averages a goal. He comes off the bench, doesn't he? Averages one goal. One or two. He scored that free kick that one, didn't he? That banging free kick. Get him gone. I'm not a fan of him at all. That's a good shout. Palace, Gehi? I'd put Gehi for Palace just because they're going to get no money in the summer. But the only caveat to that is I know they've just got Brennan Johnson, but if they don't then replace Gehi and actually invest in the football club where they need players across the board, not just in one position, then they could be in a little bit of trouble.

1:05:13I went different. Mine's technically not a sell. I'm saying release Nathaniel Klein because he's literally playing. He shouldn't be playing. Get a new right back in. They've got no one else. Sign a new right back. I'm only doing sell. If I was recommending Zell, I'd say sell him. Get a new right back in. Mate, they don't have anyone else. So why is the new right back that's injured? Walk it. You have to sign the new one and get rid of Klein. Mate, he can't be playing for... He's like 30. He's 36. I was talking to Oli about this yesterday as well he's like the guy he's like I can't believe he's still playing the Prem like fair play to him but he's not exactly James Milner it's only because he has to he's running in slow motion he's filling in for one of the best right backs in the league obviously we're only doing sell here logically you buy a new one in by the way he fucking had Gordon in his pocket yesterday so not his pocket Gordon puts himself in his pawn pocket that's worse than Pascal Strauch no it's not who's next don't be trying who's next Spurs Spurs Vicario I've put nobody That's not allowed You have to say what You have to say what That's why I'm crying You're not allowed to do that Stop sitting on the fucking fence Do you know how many injuries they've got?

1:06:17They can't afford to sell anyone Yeah they buy someone else Vicario I'm going nobody No it's not Vicario Yeah Lewis Attack What the fuck would you sell Vicario Who they gonna play You haven't even picked a player At least they're playing the game Okay who they gonna play They sign a new keeper Oh my god This is obviously Fucking FIFA I had the same issue as you, but I found my balls and I picked a player. They should sell nobody. That's a cop-out. It's not a cop-out. It's what I genuinely believe. But I believe that about Leeds. Say it then. No, because it's not one player from every club, is it, Tom?

1:06:47We have to pick one. Do you know how many injuries they have? Yeah, it's one player from every club. It's a hard one to pick for. It's gone against the whole show. I don't care. It's sitting on the face. You're a cop-out, you. I've picked one for everyone else because I think they should sell these players. I don't think Brentford should sell anyone. But I put a name down. So don't put anyone? I think they should That's the rule of what we're trying to do here I think they should Brentford don't have fucking 40 injuries Where they can't afford to sell anyone I can't believe you started the new year like this You brought me up Sorry Fucking hell It's embarrassing that is I said get rid of that fucking pony Richarlison Oh fucking hell Richarlison They can actually get a bit of money for him I'm not even joking Then when's Solanke back?

1:07:25Is he ever back? Will he ever be back? Mate put a bit of trust in Mawani Solanke Tell A lot of them Or get rid of Odebert. But do you know what we really think where Charleston is? Odebert's only 21 as well, by the way. You could actually get a bit of cash for him in. He's not that good. I'd normally be right there with you, but I actually, I thought with Charleston, as funny as he is celebrating and getting goals ruled out, off the bench, he can be a bit of a nuisance. Like, he's a bit of a dickhead. He gets into the defenders. You know what I mean? Who else have they got? I like Odebert as well.

1:07:57Yeah, Odebert's all right. He's got a bit of jinky-jinky in him. He's got a bit of a Swiss and Swaz. You got, trust Colin Mawani a bit more, maybe. Mattias Tell. He's getting injured. They've got all these forwards. He's only on loan, isn't he? So it's like you're fucking yourself at the end of the season. Yeah. You could definitely get money for a Charleston. Get him back to Everton. You're so far. You're acting like Mike Ashley over here. That will get money here. Solanke will be back by the time, end of January, but just in time for the sell-off for Charleston. Why are you trying to make so much money?

1:08:24At least I'm not. I'm making business back. You're like Daniel Levy. Levy. Levi. All right, who's next? Next is Everton Everton Beto I'll put Beto as well I've also got Beto I'm replacing him with Richarlison I wanted to say Barry as well But we'll give Barry more time Barry works hard I'm a Barry fan So does my postman I wouldn't put him up front for Everton He's not a professional footballer How good is he? Actually I'm right here I haven't seen him play Who takes a gamble on Beto? Palace when they sell Meteto Some European shit He goes to Napoli Club Bruges Him and Hoyland That'd be Club Bruges Club Bruges Next Fulham.

1:09:01Oh, yeah. I've gone Traore. I've gone Traore as well. I've gone Traore. Have we? Yeah. This guy's been shit from the very start. He's a Vaseline merchant. Cover himself in fucking lube. I think go to a mid-table La Liga side and he'll ball out. He's championship level. He's always been championship level. He is Yikarez, but he can run fast. Zero technical ability from that guy. And somehow he keeps fucking getting minutes. He's not actually. he starts on the bench yeah but he's been getting he comes on and does fuck all oh my god I mean that sums up West Ham doesn't it got enough to try Ori oh yeah that'll solve your position fucking problems look at him and he claims he doesn't go to the gym that annoyed me the most yes you do you're actually very true on that one okay Brighton now I am looking for a bit of cash again oh for fuck's sake but I actually think because he I'm going to agree with you Every time he plays He's really good But he's not starting And he's young And I think A bigger club Could come in for him And Hinchel would I actually think You could get Plenty of money for him I think he's fantastic I thought you were going to say That what's safe as mine But I know You went a different road there I've gone with Believer I said Believer He's been bad this season He's been crap this season Shit this season That's money And you could still get Is that Hinchel's class?

1:10:22Yeah So why are you selling him? Because you get a lot of money From him He doesn't start He doesn't start Yeah, no, but with Belieber, he's a constant performer. He's not going to get 100 million like Belieber. Or you could... Or you could... Evan Ferguson's on loan at what, Roma? Bring him back. No, but Belieber's a player who... What are you doing the summer again? Belieber's a player who wants to leave, isn't performing really well at all this season, and he could get a ton of money for. He's obviously... Is his value not dropped? Isn't Hinshelwood homegrown? No, he is. I think that'd be silly.

1:10:50He might have dropped a bit. Belieber's value will have dropped without his play. I think it wouldn't be hurt. But you'll still get like 70 million for him. I don't think it'll be hurt that much because you look at the players coming out of Brighton. They always perform. Yeah, but then it's another homegrown talent going. Surely that's a poor... 50 million. You get more for Believer. I don't know why you want to keep getting rid of fucking... He's trying. Just like good, solid players. You'd be the worst. You'd be hated by the fans. It'd be crazy. They'd be protesting week one. To be honest, to be honest, our rating's so high.

1:11:22Yeah, to be honest, To be honest, they could sell Belieba and then start Hinshelwood. That would be the play. Hinshelwood's a full-back. He's an holding midfielder. He plays full-back every time his plays comes on. He can play both. So does Lewis Moily, but Hinshelwood's a holding midfielder. But he plays all his games at full-back. Because Belieba plays there. Jesus. Happy New Year, guys. I can't believe... Yeah, Theo. Yeah, Theo. Oh, yeah. Okay, Newcastle's next. For me, I'm not quite clear. I've gone Willock. Willock, yeah. And he deserves Premier League minutes, but he's never going to get it with us, especially with Ramsey and Miley there.

1:12:01Yeah. And also, we're going to sign another midfielder. I think Willock, yeah. So what have you said? Pope.

1:12:11Ramsdale is number one. I don't get what's so funny. Ramsdale is number one. You have not got a clue, have you? Pope is too... You have not got a fucking clue. Ramsdale is number one. No, he's not. He hasn't started the last two games and you watch any more. Ramsdale is good enough to be number one. We're not going to make a problem. He hasn't. They tried to make Ramsdale number one and he had stinkers so they put Pope back in. I still have faith in Ramsdale. And how old's Pope? How much are you going to get for Nick Pope? You'd get more for Ramsdale. And also, we've learned very quickly as a fan base, Pope is class at saving shots.

1:12:42We're not going to... Ramsdale's class. He's a good shot stopper. I love Ramsdale. He's friend of the show. But like, we saw the drop off in shot stopping immediately. You were calling for Pope out only a few weeks ago, buddy. I wanted to see Ramsdale. I wanted to see him have his chance. Only a few weeks ago, you were saying, get him out of my club. No, I wanted to see him have his chance. Only a few weeks ago. And I like Ramsdale a lot, but we've seen him with his chance. You want to get rid of a player who's not going to bring any money in. He's not going to bring any money in. He's by far our best goalkeeper.

1:13:08Not by far at all. He is by far our best goalkeeper. He's a phenomenal shot stopper. So is Ramsdale, Lewis. Yeah, no, but he's not as good as Pope. We saw that. Do you know Pope's save percentage this year is like above 70 % and Ramsdale's when he came in was like 36. Ramsdale's not a better shot stopper than Pove. He's way better playing out the back and playing like way better but it's night and day, mate. I mean, crosses as well, Pope's better. Yeah. Theo, I can't believe you want to say, you wouldn't even get much money from him. He's getting on now. How old's Pope? 33. Theo, why would you want?

1:13:42Gold keep his pay to like 40. Yeah. He's got another seven years at the top level. No. Theo. You get 25 million for Nick Pope. Fucking hell, are you joking? You definitely do. 25 million for Nick Pope. Shut the fuck up. You're taking the piss now. He's your next banner. Why are you selling poor? Why all this player who's immediately improved on a team? My reasoning was Ramsdale's younger. He's not going to sign permanently. He can get in in the summer, get him on a permanent, sell Pope, get some money, and get a different backup keeper. I don't think we're not going to get Ramsdale permanently, as much as I love him.

1:14:17Why not? because it's too much money too much wages for the for the keeper that he is I think you'd be surprised what happens in the summer you're mental but that is currently that's a big downgrade in that position who do you think your starting keeper will be next season probably Nick Pope not Ramsdale no definitely not I don't think Ramsdale will be permanent genuinely it's 25 mil we've got other things to look at we go back in for Trafford I can't believe you put Pope that's such a random one out of everyone on the team yeah man I just think his time will come at the end of the season he's had his good tenure Yeah, and it's time to move on.

1:14:48All good things must come to an end at some point. Get 20 million from him. You said 25 seconds ago. You get at least 15 million from him. I think genuinely you'd get, you'd be fortunate to get 10 for Nick Pope. No way. A 34-year-old Nick Pope, people wouldn't spend more than 10 million because you're going to have a season and a half left of him. I don't know, man. I think that's a bit... Okay, so you think he can play until 40. So why wouldn't we keep him? Because he'll deteriorate over time. So you wouldn't spend money on him? anyways let's not go on the post a bit that was a stupid one well done I enjoyed that I've got a headache from banging my head against the wall Sunderland Sunderland I've gone Dan Neal I have Dan Neal as well oh my god maybe I do have ball knowledge now what the fuck oh my god I have ball knowledge I think he'd be I think nearly every team in the championship wouldn't want him yeah I mean like you get money for him and he doesn't play he's not playing at all so here we go Xhaka by the way your resolution I don't think they should sell him, but I think they will sell him, if that makes sense.

1:15:52That makes sense. That's not the list, really. The list is who you think should sell. This January, they're going to sell who? No, this season. Why are we doing... What are we doing? Oh, God. Just let him... We talked about this before the show. I don't have... I've done January. Go on. He's 22 years old. Go on. He's one of the best keepers in the league. Oh, my fucking God. Roofs. I think you're going to see... What is wrong with you? Just trying to sell everyone's best player? I think you're going to see a real big... Oh my God, Why the fuck would Sunderland sell one of their best players when they could finish in Euro?

1:16:21You could see a Man United coming in for him in the summer. They would just sign a new keeper! Yeah, I know, but is he good enough? Is Lamans good enough? Yes, he's young! They're not going to get... Why would Man United say we just signed Lamans this young keeper for the future? Oh, let's go get roofs. And Sunderland are like, yeah! Martinez might leave Villa. Villa come in. He's one of the most... He's one of the best keepers in the league. He's 22 years old. Yeah, so why would they sell him? Because that's how football works, Tom. They've only just signed him. They've only just signed him. The smaller teams.

1:16:46Yeah, when the smaller teams and they have good players end up selling their best players, Tom. That's how football works. We all know that. This is against your argument for Forrest last year. No, if you look at... We all know that, Tom. Right, imagine Sunderland. They have such a good season. They have a massive team morale. They might finish in Europe. They're a bonded team now. They have team morale. We did this together. They're all going to be in it for next year. As we all know, all the big clubs will come in for... Roots will be there next year. I'm not so sure. No one coming for sells.

1:17:09Who was the best goalie in the league last season won the Golden Glove. He's had one good season. He's had a bloody good season. He's been amazing. Sunderland aren't in a position where they need to sell their best players. That list here, I think you put this down thinking to the MIG money. This is who you think they should sell. This isn't who you think they will sell. That's not been the list for the other 12 teams. Sunderland won't sell roofs in the summer or this window. They're not going to do that. They don't need to. Sunderland are a massive club What are you doing Why have you put roofs on there The keeper who has The keeper who has Brought them Like Almost single handedly To eighth With his shot stopping Fucking mental Think of the money you can make From them though Oh god You're absolutely I've clearly got the right end of the stick here You're absolutely mental Well yeah it's not Who could you sell to make the most money There's no point doing a list Because we could all just pick The best player from each team To generate the most money Like that's silly isn't it Roof At least I'm picking a player, Tom, and not sitting on the fence saying they should sell no one.

1:18:11I picked a player for every team. Well, then Spurs, you can't afford to sell anyone because they've got no players. I think that's a fair reason. Well, if they sell Vicario, they can get roofs in, to be fair. Oh, yeah, true. I flew in on the red eye this morning. Oh, here we go. Brentford, I have a shit one for. I have Paris Maghorma. For who, sorry? Brentford. I don't think they should sell anyone. He's a player who doesn't play. He's a bit shit. I've gone Josh De Silva I think fine He's been there so long I think again Championship clubs Would pick him up He's injured at the minute But the teams Would pick him up I like him on footy manager Here we go He had a little I was actually I was actually I was actually Very close to saying Josh De Silva Because he goes He goes through A little purple patch Every now and again But he's also injured At the moment So he's selling An injured player He's back at the end of Jan So he's injured at the moment You can still sell An injured player You can pass a medical Being injured Do you know that?

1:19:02Have you rot? No I don't think They sell anyone Who've you wrote, Theo? Who've you put? You've got to say who you've put. No. You do? No, I don't. I said no one. Who's he put? Josh De Silva. No, it's not who you said. It's not. I can see who you said. And I refuse to see it. I honestly was going to put Josh De Silva down. Yeah. But you didn't, so you've got to read the list. You can't change your list. I don't think they should say anyone. Who's he said? Well, Thiago. He said Igor Thiago. Yeah. He said Brentford should sell Igor Thiago. No, I didn't. Oshada I'm cashing I'm cashing I'm cashing again what are you you are the worst chairman of all time you went to every club and saying oh we'll make some money there we'll make some money here what were you thinking when you've in a row look at these in a row he's went Hinchelwood Pope Roos Thiago Oshada you're just picking every team's best player that's a really good strategy mate Brentford in a chance to get Europe this season let's just sell our best players but Josh De Silva is such an easy Thiago genuinely we have it's a realistic selling though innit Thiago's the second top scorer in the league why would they sell he's their only striker why do you keep saying sell their best player I really don't know what you've been thinking what are you going to do with this money you make sign players who are all so good that's not how you grow it's genuinely why Mike Ashley was awful for us get good buys sell them sign someone's shitter that's what you're doing you're mental well watch back at this at the end of the season, won't we?

1:20:35And realise... Oh, shit. It's not... By the way, it's not the end of the season. By the way, this isn't a prediction episode. This is who you think. This is who you think. It's who we think they should sell right now. And once he's got to about the Pope area, he started changing it to... Not at the end of the season. You've started to change it to a prediction because you've had a howler. I think Josh De Silva. Who's next? Fucking hell. Next is Man United. I've said Agate. What? That's a good shout, actually. Is he shit? he's shit you were jumping on the wrong team I've gone with a lot of money I've gone with a player that their fans hate I don't think he's that bad but I think you could get a lot of money for him and they've got better replacements I've gone Dallow oh yeah he's so solid for Man United the Man United fans hate him he's so solid he's just he's not that solid yes he is he was at fault for the goal the other day he's pretty solid he's like a solid footballer for Man United yeah I think there's areas of Man United where they can improve like same with the guard they're selling him and they're like getting rid of them and they could reasonably improve that position quite nicely sorry he's having a go at me for putting a solid player in yeah well after Poe Thiago who would you sell then go on well if Amarin was still in charge which he's not well that's so leave that out then when you made this list this morning Amarin was sacked I actually think they should actually sell Kobe Mayan I actually think they should especially if this new gaffer comes in whoever it is can't can't get him in the team.

1:22:04If he's not playing football, you've got one of the best talents in the world's football. But he's going to now, isn't he? Who says so? You're predicting. You're predicting. And you're predicting he's not going to play? Well, yeah, because I've looked at the whole fucking season. Yeah, but that manager's been sucked. The manager's been sucked. All you can go on is what you see in this season. Darren Fletcher, he's going to play. Kobe Mainu, I guarantee you. I don't think we've ever had a string of this many bad ones, Theo, in a long time. It's been like six in a row here. Happy New Year. But why?

1:22:30Why should Man Utd sell Manu? Because they could get a lot of money from him. He's clearly not in favour for him. And he's too good. He's not in favour for who? The manager's left. Not in favour for who? Amrum's left. For who? Yeah. Amrum has left. Manchester United. What are you on about, you fucking idiot? Oh, you're annoying me now. Guys, look at him. He's realised what he's done. You're a stupid boy. You spent so much time on this this morning. You sat there for ages. This is a generational stinker run. It's like six in a row. Kobe Manu, the player that all the Man United fans are crying out just to play because they don't want him to go.

1:23:05You've been saying how the higher-ups of Man United should step in and make sure he plays so they don't sell him. You're now saying, I think they should sell him. Well, he's not playing. So you've got to go. Oh my God! He needs to go. The manager who wasn't playing him has gone. And we'll see over the next few weeks what Darren Fletcher does. But if he's still not playing by the end of January, Thomas, he should be like to his age. Wait, wait, wait. Stop, stop. You just said this isn't a prediction. No, but I'm going off I'm going off What I've seen so far Who do you think they should sell? Kobi Manu Manu, yeah But the other week You were saying The board should step in It's like I said Dallo He plays every game, mate He starts every game Why should they sell him in January?

1:23:43You're literally saying They should sell Their starting 11 players No, he doesn't start Why should they do that? He doesn't start every week He makes a lot of mistakes He starts every week He makes a lot of mistakes They've got other options there They could reinvest that In other positions He starts every week, mate Because I don't think They're going to play Fight with the Batonhas They don't need the wing back They could get good money for Dalot. I think teams in Europe would sign him. So I think there's my reasoning for Dalot. Now, what's your reason for Manu? He's better than Man United and he should be playing football every week.

1:24:06He's better than Man United. But you're not, you're Man United. You are Man United here and you're saying who you should sell. You're not saying best for Manu. You're not Manu's agent. You're Man United here. Maybe I shouldn't be. Oh, God. Who did you say? I said, are you going to go on the offensive? I can't remember who I said. You said Agate. Agate, yeah. But they just signed. Yeah, he's not very good though, is he? and you can't do 10 pickups Agarti is shit to be fair you've not done great they've just signed him in summer I'm scared to see who you've done next but if you have Morgan Rodgers it's going to be so bad anyways we have Chelsea next Baddy or Shew is shit I put Baddy or Shew Tosin yeah either are crap to be fair I think just that area of the pitch they can lose someone and improve can't they that's on the basis they actually go and sign the centre half though because they haven't they're quite short there they've got Loving Carward's still out Tosin's still out injured yeah that's what I mean I think sell Baddy Shield because he's so shit but on the basis they sign another one yeah because they can't really afford I don't mind either I think they're just I think they're just so weak there aren't they it's fucking I'm surprised you didn't say Palmer go get Branthwaite that'd be silly that would Liverpool they should sell Salah they should sell Salah yeah that's a good shot oh I didn't actually think to put them for some reason they should 100 % sell Salah yeah that's correct there's no doubt they look slightly better without him.

1:25:25I think I agree. I agree. And they could get a lot of money, clear up about£400 ,000 a week in wages. Yeah, I regret mine now. I should have said that. I've said Joe Gomez. I went the other way. I went Canate because they're not going to get any money from him at the end of the season. And then get Gaby. I was more thinking of they've spent so much money. They need to sell someone. I was fighting between them. He's been good. He's first in time I played centre-half right back at Great Fillion. I think that's one of the worst. Oh, here we go. I was fighting between Canate and Joe Gomez in terms of I think they need to make some money and also go out and get Gehi and I'm like, who can they lose?

1:25:55I had Canati there and I changed it to Joe Gomez. Even if they buy Gehi, they still need backup centre-half. I think not... Because Canati can go on a free in the summer. Yeah, but they still need a centre-half so they'd have to buy another centre-half. I think it's more natural. I think the money you get for Canati could get you Gehi and another centre-half. Probably need to, wouldn't they? Well, yeah, but see how that's a logical reasoning? You said Joe Gomez, mate. Yeah, but Joe Gomez... I don't agree with that. Joe Gomez isn't a staple of the team. He'll make money for you to reinvest in better players.

1:26:24He's one of the most versatile defenders at the club. Every time he fills in, he puts in a solid performance. I agree, but... They need defenders. They need defenders. Canard makes sense. Joe Gomez doesn't make sense. I think Joe Gomez is a player who's going to want to play more on his career. He might want to sit there and do whatever and come up. But he's a main player. I agree he's really good. But they're going to sign really good players. And to make money, you've got to make good money. You've got to sell good players. To get money, you've got to make good money. Hey, you should be on my side here.

1:26:51You love making money I think gamers are silly I agree that Sal Is the correct answer If I'm honest Say it one more time Villa I struggled with Villa Ross Barkley I've got Barkley Not playing Yeah it's a good shout He's actually technically injured He's injured But like Fucking Sal I went with Yeah I'd probably agree with that then I went with Mattson Yeah I don't really like him anyways He does I know he plays Is it him and Dine Is it him and Dine Yeah You need a Otherwise they've only got one trust left back Again It would be on the basis they replace him but I think you can get good money for Mattson he did start this whole thing he said selling Mattson on the basis they replace him that's what you did earlier and unfortunately who did I say that what did I shout him for that for I think you did shout at me for that you did you shouted at me for someone yeah you did you shouted at me you did shout at him for saying on the basis of you're going to replace him Borgel Borgel Vicario Vicario yeah who they got a new keeper Roofs no but my point with that is they're only left 15 you literally just said Selmatin and replace him yeah my point with that is you can never be wrong Mattson Mattson and I'd probably say I'd probably say Dina's the better one though would you agree yeah so Mattson's second choice I think it's easier to go out and replace a second choice than Vicario's been their number one for like 18 months you could get Roos you could get Nick Corp the basis is still the same he's saying Selmatin to buy and you're saying Selmatin to buy the premise is that's still the same yeah the premise is the same and I apologise thank you Tom you're welcome I think do you understand my reasoning I do understand your reason as well.

1:28:20A backup compared to a number one. I apologise for coming on so hard for you and I appreciate the apology. What? This is the wrong show, mate. Yeah, I just, I don't really like Mattson. I don't like him either. And I think, I think like a Dortmund is getting old as well. I think like a Dortmund would pay good money for him. I think, get rid of Mattson. He was there on loan. He paid him at Dortmund. I think what they should do, get rid of Mattson, sign someone who can even go above Dini because he's getting to like 31 now and you move Dini down and then the team improves. There we go. I play football manager.

1:28:48I know how to manage yeah I don't mind the Barclay shout I struggled with Villa because they haven't got a massive squad have they right who's next City so Ake I went a bit rogue here not rogue I just think I personally think he deserves better I've gone with Oscar Bob and they're looking to sell him actually with Semenyo Semenyo they've got Cherky he's not playing he's not playing no they are willing to sell him recently I want him you get good money for Oscar Bob as well. Good money. 50, 60 mil. Homegrown. It is how savage Man City are. I'm not sure how old he was. Man City are a bit savage in that way.

1:29:29They'll just move you along quite quickly. Dortmund, yeah. On Newcastle. I'd love Oscar Bob. We missed that Marmouch is leaving as well. Friend of the show. Yeah, on loan, innit? I'd love Oscar Bob. I put Trafford just on the basis where, look, you can sell him for a profit of what you signed on that clause from. He wants to leave. He's not going to be starting up a Donnarumma for ages. I think Ake will probably go to a Palace. If they say Mark Gehi. Yeah, that's not a bad shout. That's not a bad shout. Yeah. Damn. Good shouts everywhere. And last one. This one was really hard, I thought. Arsenal.

1:30:05Pretty tricky. I've gone Jokeres. Have you? I would say Jokeres, but I just don't think they would. So I'll put a different name. No, he's who I'd sell. I'd sell Jokeres. Oh, well, I agree with you. But instead, I'd put Ben White. Just because. What? Well, I couldn't pick a name, honestly, and he doesn't like football, so. What? That's silly. I agree, but can you name anyone else out of that list, except from Jokeres, because my logic was he's just signed, he's not going to be sold. Can you name... Marcel Ben White. Okay, can you name... Okay, if you weren't going to pick Jokeres, who would you pick?

1:30:32I'm picking Jokeres. No, but if you weren't, because the rules I put myself, I'm not going to pick Jokeres because he's just here. I only have to pick one player. No, but... I'm saying, in my position, I don't want to pick Jokeres because he's just signed. So who would you pick if not Ben White? If you were a Man City, you wouldn't worry about selling a player you've bought in the summer, even if it's for loan and you sell him in the... I feel like you're missing what I'm saying, Theo. If you weren't... Just answer the question simply. Like, who would you genuinely... Yeah, I don't think I would send it to anyone.

1:30:56No, it's a curious question. Like, if it wasn't Jokeres, who would you sell from Arsenal? You can't say no one. Just say someone. It's not... I'm not going to try and get you. Is this... I'm curious if you... Is this depending on who we buy as well? No, just in this current team. Because my point is, yous are so well balanced anywhere. You can't afford to sell really anyone because you've got the perfect number in every position. There's not like one position that's overly stacked, is what I'm saying. Who's Theo said? I said Jokeres. You said Jokeres? Yeah. Oh, he agrees his shit now. Oh. It's because he got Gabriel Gersie's.

1:31:27It comes to a certain point where you just have to realize you may have bought a dud. And like... You could probably still get money. You could still get money from him. Even if you loan him out first. Probably not, realistically, we're not going to sell Jokeres, let's be honest. but I'd fucking that's why I'm curious I'd just go in for Igor Thiago Jimenez not Jimenez no you've got Havertz coming back you've got Jesus do you agree Jimenez is better than Jokeres no no come on he's been better than Jokeres in the Premier League when he was at Wolves for sure and now and right now he's not well give him two more weeks of watching Jokeres play and he'll be there anyway let us know in the comments what you think and how bad Theo's list really was right now lads thank you very much for that Theo it was a great display but let's do our 2026 breakout stars people who are going to break onto the scene become world class players not necessarily world class could be I'm nervous for this one Premier League breakout innit well yeah I didn't realise it was Premier League so I've done European I've got a couple of Premier Leagues save yours till last then because you're most I've actually got into real depth in mine as well I was quite proud of it but I'll probably just read the prep first no prep read of the year actually people always get at us from the comments you know why can't these idiots just actually yeah it's starting to be funny now they just hate us yeah I think when I read it it didn't say for Emily it did anyways can I start because I just want to get mine done I want to get mine right all mine are genuine breakouts I know I'm going to get to stick for this one but my logic with this one is he's at this level and he's semi-established in the league but I think in 2026 he's going to go on to the world stage international stage breaking onto the major scene, okay?

1:33:08Go on. Lewis Miley. So... He had his breakout year last year. No, no, no. He's playing the Champions League. Yeah, but he had a breakout year. He had a couple of appearances there. You just said he had a breakout year. Yeah, to that level, but he had a few injuries. He's been off the scene. Nah, we're not doing this. He's already talked. I think in the 2026, he's going to be international, like playing for England, like genuine, full starter. Joel Linton out of the team. Miley in, full-fledged. I don't know if we can count that. I feel like he's had his breakout. Guys, two years ago, 23-24 season, you played 26 times.

1:33:3924-25, 19 times. This isn't 20 years. He's had two years in the Premier League. We have to remember, he's still 19. He's had two years in the Premier League. I agree if he was just going to be a pretty good player. I'm telling you, he's going to go to the top level. I'm saying he's going to be in the England squad. That is what I think for him. That's a breakout because there's a lot of people who will know of Lewis Miley. But even in the world scene, they won't have a clue who Lewis Miley is. It is. I don't think it is. He's the only one of that kind for that. You just said he's already had a breakout year.

1:34:09No, to a certain level. You can have a breakout year in the championship and then have a, you know what I mean? I feel like a breakout year, you're going to go to a new level. He's been a regular in the Premier League for two seasons. He hasn't been regular. He's made appearances. He's made appearances. He's had injuries. He's played nearly 40 games in two years. He's regular. Yeah. Well, we can agree to degree anyways. Ninth, I've got Chido Orby from Man United. Big fan. He's crap hard, dude. I fucking like him, mate. Do you? Oh, yeah. I don't think that he's going to have a breakup. Man United, look, logic on this.

1:34:39He's like, obviously, one of the bright future. Everyone's going to like, he's very far. I think he's shit. But the thing is, I don't think Man United will trust him to be playing. I disagree. I disagree. Because Man United, in fairness to them, they always do give youth minutes. And also, Sesco is shit. So go out in the summer and spend another fucking hundred million. Those two combined, he could find himself a minute. Look, it's hard this because you're trying to get, you're trying to hit a fucking diamond in the rough. You know what I mean? It might come in. Ali Anson came in like five years later.

1:35:09Eighth, Josh King. Look, we've had doubles. It's quite low. I don't think, the reason why I agree with you on this one, I think Lewis Marley's been around two years. I don't think the amount of appearances Josh King had so far this season would be classed as like a 2025 breakout. That's why I would agree Yeah, we've had a dabble of it. 2026 would be a big year for him. I think it's quite low though for Josh King. How about this one? Seventh. Kruppi. We've had sniffs of him now, but with Semenyo leaving, someone needs to be the talisman of this club. Kruppi Jr. It's you, Barilla. Six, it's Essay from Palace.

1:35:44Romain. Not really getting the appearances. He's going on loan to Coventry now. Is he really? He still have a break out. That's a shame because, I was speaking to Oli yesterday and he hates Peanut. I fucked him on that wing. Peanut, yeah. Peanut. Peanut. It's Peanut, isn't it? Peanut, isn't it? Peanut. Peanut. Peanut. Pina Pina Pina I don't know Pinin Pinin Pinin Well my logic was He'd be getting some game time At Palace World Coventry Fuck it Yeah But then he could He could still have his breakout 2026 when he comes back In the summer Fifth I might get Shouted out for this But there's logic He's had a few games Mascara He's young And if he breaks into The Arsenal team I don't think he's replaced In Saliba But he could No he couldn't But he could Nah he won't But imagine he did He's not going to Stinker Nick Real Liverpool Again it's more game time for him No no no Not me I have him in my list But I got him lower Because I just Don't think he'll get the game time Yeah I agree I do agree But Yeah But he They do like to go for him As that player off the bench When they're needing a goal Like they do like to go for him for that Yeah Third He's going to shout me for this Esteval Breakout year because he's not performed at those high, high levels.

1:37:03Yes, he has. Yeah, but he's a bit... Not like fucking top world level. 2026, that's his year. Yes, he did. Against Barcelona in Champions League. What, one game? Still top world world level. Yeah, but... And this entire season? In that case, Dan Burns, fucking world class because he's had one great game. Like, you have to... Just doing it once. I'm on about sustained to be a world level. He's not since the start of the season. No, he hasn't. This year, he's not been world class level. Oh, you think he's... Oh, you're saying he's going to... He's a breakout turn to the major scene, you know what I mean?

1:37:31So you're saying he's like great, but he's breakout from great to world class. I think he's good now. I think he's good with glimpses of great potential. But you think he'll go after world class? Yeah. World level, not world class, world level. You know what I mean? All right. Second, Mikey Muir. I also represent Mikey Muir. Doing well at Rangers. Spurs will love him back, I think. And he can kick on in the Premier League. I like it. and then first finally depending on minutes I'd like to see it happen Nuan Yeri Nuan Yeri? Yeah You want to see him play? Would you argue? No because he's not like I don't think so He's not like a breakout for Nuan Yeri would be to like like Miley's in our team now all the time that's the next step for him I think we should loan him Yeah even that could be a good option We should get him out on loan I agree There's been a lot of rumours that he's a bit of unsettled at the moment because he's not getting the game time but also because then you've got Max Dalman coming through as well but also how old is he Waniere's like 19 now is he yeah okay maybe do Lorne then I think he should because he'll be that could be his breakout because he will be looking at like players who have similar age of him like me and his probably come back on the team and stuff if I was Waniere I would actually look to get on loan ASAP because you've got Madweke you've got Saka ahead of him you've got Down only 15 Palace yeah they mind it in London just got Brendan Johnson on the right in London you take him you've got Sarr to come back as well that is the end of my list and ball knowledge.

1:39:002026 is the new year for me. Fair, bro. I'm now the smartest person on here. That's well. In 10, I got Hato at Chelsea. Alexandra Hato? No, Joral Hato. Only 19 still. Could be a big year. It all depends on Cucurella's fitness and whatnot. He's predominantly centre-half though, I think. He could play left and centre-half. That might benefit him, to be fair. He's more likely to play 7.5 I think Especially with Caldwell Out as well Romain Ese at Palace Yeah Looked bright At this start of the season I think he came on Rio Nguemura at 8 Only because I don't think he's going At game time But I think we're going to see Real potential of him This year Yeah I think he'll break out And potentially go out on loan Who knows In 7 I do have Max Dowman I think he is going to start To get the game time Especially in the Cups I just doubted the game time With him I think in the Cup competitions I think he'll be patient with him I think especially if Waniere goes out on loan I think I think Yeah Do you reckon he'll go out on loan?

1:40:00Dalman I think Wilshire did it We went on loan to Bolton I think there's every chance He goes out on loan Just to like man him up In the championship perhaps You're calling him a pussy? No but I think Imagine he goes out on loan In the championship You'd fucking Do you not think there's something Do you not think there's something to it For him to be like Training with the best team In the world Do you know what I mean? I understand Yeah definitely But you need first team experience Yeah It makes a big difference in 6 Costoulas I thought he looked so sharp yeah I like him a lot I think he's he's only 18 18 18 leading the line yep giving Danny Welbeck out the side well for one game that guy or two 5 I've got Krupe Jr 4 I've got Aidan Heaven I think I like him a lot man I think he he's been really good for United and I think Darren Fletcher is the type of guy to play the youngsters it sort of goes against my main new thing but it's what it is yeah it's what Man United do In three I have got Josh King I think he's going to be a big player for Fulham The King!

1:40:58In two It's not a player It's a manager There was no Go on then Liam Rossini I actually think he's going to do a good job at Chelsea Why didn't you say that earlier then? What? You never said that earlier What did you say? When we were talking about You were saying they need to get more experience in charge? Yeah, I still think he's going to do a good job though. But if I was Chelsea, as in my point is, if I was Chelsea... Maybe you should talk about this, stitch it with him. No, but I've actually got a reason. Do you want me to explain my reasoning? Yeah. I think if I was a Chelsea owner, the safer gamble is a more experienced manager.

1:41:39100%. Saying that, I do think Liam Rossino will do a good job. Does that make sense? What would be a breakout year for him, in your opinion? What does he have to do? Because you can manage it, you can judge it better with managers. Champions League. for sure could they win the league cup could they beat Arsenal I'd like to see them but yeah I'd rather play them than you do you know what I mean I think that would be a break up he's now managing the big leagues big club world stage I think that would be a fair appointment so there is actually reason to the logic and then in one I don't know if this is a bit too soon but fuck it he's unbelievable Mane at Wolves you really like him he's so good man he is very good the confidence he plays as it was a joke.

1:42:22Yeah. Even that Cruyff turn. Watched him once. Now that Cruyff turn when he got nervous. Watched him once against one of the worst teams in the league. I'm going to put him above Rio. And Liverpool. And Man United. Yeah, he was alright against Man United for like a half. This kid is going to be unbelievable. I think he's really good, yeah, but... It's the Cruyff turn up mid, you put him first. You put him above Manieri and that. I think Mane is more likely to get more game time. What, in the championship? He might get a move. they're not going to sell him he's got until May to play game time in the Prem I mean I don't know I don't know enough about him I think he's a really good player he's going to get more game time this year but I think to put him first he's going to get more Premier League he's going to get more Premier League game time this year than one year true there you go oh or Neil to Strasbourg yeah I saw that I'm happy about that right then I'll do mine I mean I've got like I've just I've got four Premier League so it's not too bad Tom's Premier League breakout stars here we go they're all going to sign for Premier League I've got Mane in 10th yeah he's quality ninth I've got Mikey Moore he was really good the other day Mikey Moore friend of the show maybe eighth Rodrigo Moura plays for Brentford no he doesn't he plays for Porto he's the second youngest European player of Porto got his first senior call up this year now obviously got the experience of Thiago Silva in the side obviously Premier League to help him along help him with his Premier League breakout this year seventh and sixth I've gone with Dalman and Waniere just because of game time but I actually think Dalman is probably the best on this list but I don't think he's going to play as much I actually half think Daman will get more game time than Waniere I think you're right on that one because I just think if they view Waniere as a right he's just never going to play they've got to loan him out don't they 6th 5th sorry this is a good one have I ever seen him play no I have I'm guessing no but I've done some good research on him this morning Bazumana Torre he's an ivory coast ivorian winger right right hear me out He came from the same academy as the Torres and Solomon Kalou.

1:44:24Hoffenheim signed him last year from Swedish club Hammerby. And he's gone on to have six goals and assists this season in 14 games. And I think yesterday on his debut, I don't know if it was his debut, but scored on his AFCON debut for Ivory Coast in the 91st minute to win them the game. Yeah. He's left-footed. Oh, yeah. He's good, man. Is that what put him on the R-A-D-R? No, I was just, I was searching on Google this morning for... I don't know if your stats were right for his league stats. Interesting clubs. What did you say his league stats were? And I just, six goals and assists. Two goals and five assists.

1:45:01So it's more then? I think he's even better than you. In fourth, I think, you may know him, I don't think you will. I think you've been linked with him, actually. Are you Bouadi at Lille? Oh, yeah, yeah, I talked about him in the future stars. I don't think he's going to be at Lille for much longer. Just a little bit longer. Aha. Third, I've got Rio because I disagree. I think he will play a lot more for Liverpool. I hope he does for his sake. Especially if Salah goes, which looks likely. Slot likes him. I think Slot seems to like him. They might sell Chiesa as well, by the way. Juventus are back in for him.

1:45:40So he might be gone. Second, Pio Esposito. the first up and coming Italian striker in years I know I signed him on footy manager he's faster as fuck he's faster as fuck he's a big fucker he's only just started to play for Italy he's played five games guess how many goals five three three and five he's 20 years old he's at Inter which is an issue because of Martinez but again I predicted Martinez to leave and go to Chelsea so there we go he's going to play and break out you should actually predict this guy to go to Chelsea he scored the goal He scored that really good goal in the Club World Cup, if you remember.

1:46:18I think it was against Club Bruges. I don't know. Who did? Okay, anyway. But yeah, he's been compared to Luca Toni. Oh, yeah. Fucking hell. And number one, this is the man. The Nigerian wonder kid, Christian Kafane. You know who I'm on, don't I? Oh, yeah. Yeah. The Nigerian one. Yeah, there you go. So, he moved to Leverkusen from Albacete last season, and he's scored three in the league this season, one in the UCL. He's getting comparisons with Levin Dosky and Alexander Rezac. And he scored. He starts for Cameroon already, and he's scored in the last two AFCON games. This boy is 20. Have a look.

1:47:01Is he 20? 19. He's not lighting up the seat. No, he starts for Leverkusen. He starts for Cameroon. To be your number one, he's scored three goals this season. He's only 19? Four. Five. Just to be your number one, though. He's scored three goals and assists in six Champions League games, three goals and assists in the German Cup in three, and four goals and assists in four games. It's not too bad. It's hard for me to debate because I have no idea who he is. To have him as your number one Premier League breakout star. Yeah. Well, because, obviously, Brighton are going to sign him. Oh, fuck. Of course, actually.

1:47:34No, Arsenal are going to sign him. So, yeah, I just thought I'd try and actually do a bit of research on the European wonder kids, even though I didn't realise we didn't have to do that. So there we go. There's my list. Hope you enjoyed. Let me know in the comments how stupid I am. But obviously, I was a little bit hipster here. It didn't actually state players only there. So that's why I went with Liam Ross Sr. Very cool. If you had to pick a manager for a breakout this year, anyone that comes to mind? I got two. Go on. Number one, Cesc Fabregas just moved to England Premier League, you know, get himself a big move.

1:48:03So as his Premier League breakout. Yeah. Or you could go, who's the better manager? Who would Fabregas manage? he's good the borough manager what's his name who would Fabregas manage Arsenal when they sack Arte when he bottles the leaf oh fuck off and then the borough manager who like obviously they were left in a fucking stitched up position but from what I understand he's doing a decent job so Kim Helberg yeah if he manages to get them up he's Swedish if he manages to get them up maybe I haven't got one for the Prem there's no real you have to think elsewhere don't you I think Helberg's a really good shot actually

1:48:43I don't know I haven't got any maybe there's not many there's not many young up and coming managers in the top leagues who Andrew's had it he's having his breakout right now yeah I don't really have one unfortunately I think the highlight Callum McFarlane he could get a job somewhere I think he could get a job I think this highlights a major issue that you know managers don't really get an opportunity. Not young, hungry managers in the top two. Maybe John Terry gets a job somewhere. Oh, yeah. You say that, though. There's quite a lot of young managers out there at the moment. In the lower leagues, there it is.

1:49:19You look at Herzl, Fabregas is quite young. No, but we're on about a breakthrough, though. They're not having a break. They've managed. They've had their breakthrough. Yeah. Sorry, not young. I mean inexperienced. I get you. I get you. Because a lot of the time, like we did it with Mason, and fucking look at us now. so I swear when he was interim at Spurs he actually did alright he did ok yeah but it's not he had really good players didn't he it's not as easy with fucking Diakite well Diakate on that note guys it's a pleasure to be back doesn't it feel so good to be back guys yeah man we are so back happy new year yeah when in Rome shalom Jackies make sure you like subscribe leave in the comments what you think of the episode and how much you enjoyed Reeves' input today well Happy New Year, everyone.
