In short

The episode is a Premier League preview after Arsenal’s Community Shield win, then a debate-heavy “1–20” league table prediction and a “Team of the Season” XI plus awards (top scorer, player of the season, young player, best manager). Guests discuss whether the Community Shield result means anything, arguing Arsenal’s performance (including standout players like Lewis Skelly, Solis, and Califiori) is promising but not proof of league dominance.

Key claims

City will drop off significantly after losing Rodri and Pep; Arsenal are positioned for a title/dominant season and possibly a Champions League push; Spurs and Chelsea are the main challengers; Liverpool will be strong despite “no expectation” pressure; Man United will struggle due to rotation and extra games. Relegation predictions repeatedly target Hull, Ipswich, Sunderland, and Nottingham Forest (instability after Elliot Anderson/Gibbs-White departures).

Notable examples

Skelly’s close pass; Solis’s assist output; Forest’s Glasner/Maranakis instability; City “60-point deduction” joke. Guests’ backgrounds aren’t clearly identified by name or credentials in the transcript; they appear as regular Pitchside football pundits/fans (Arsenal, Fulham, Sunderland, Newcastle, Man United, Nottingham Forest supporters) debating predictions.

Not only are Arsenal reigning Premier League champions, but now reigning Community Shield champions. That's why we've won the double. Dabble. Dabble. Double Double You still love the Community Shield Do we? Yeah Before they won the Prem That's all they could sing about It was like Oh we did the double It was like 2014 I was like Last time we won it They haven't won it in years Nah Nah Nah you love the Community Shield Nah they did it with Arteta Arteta got a Community Shield You got an FA Cup bro You got a Community Shield Yeah and you're playing The Community Shield Yeah but that was like Six years ago Yeah but that used to be What they were playing on to Didn't we?

1:28Yeah because it's What you've loved I can't remember It's such a big game To be fair It's the biggest Community Shield win ever. Is it really? Yeah. That's not true. 3-0. Yep. Probably. Biggest Community Shield win. No one is always like a friend. Oh yeah. Nah, no. Not when you win it, mate. Yeah. Not when you win it. When you win it, you go, oh, I really mattered that game. It was quite telling, I thought, though, where maybe the two clubs are at and sort of cities transition. Do you think though, or do you just think like... I don't think we should overreact to it. Because we did this the other year.

1:57Do you remember when Nunes scored and then Harlem missed that city? Where he went like, oh, Nunes. And also when Harlem... It means nothing. Do you remember when Haaland and De Bruyne literally couldn't play together? Yeah, I just think... And then they went on to break the goalscoring record. That was the initial Haaland meme. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't get me wrong, Arsenal were good, considering you weren't full strength, and City were bad. And Erdegaard was good. But that's how you know it means nothing, because Erdegaard played well. A bit harsh there. He never played well. Is it? Well, he said himself, it's set to turn for the season.

2:28Yeah. It doesn't... They love the club, Lewis. And then they leave. They say what they think they should. I know we should. We obviously shouldn't read too much into it, but should City be a little bit worried? Should City fans? Yes. Yeah, 100%. Especially after Rodri leaving as well. Yeah. They're fucked. They're in trouble. For their standards, they're fucked. What is fucked, Tom? Well, we'll get on to that, won't we? Yeah, we will. Because obviously we've got a massive episode today, guys. One to 20 predictions. That's right, yeah. Very enthusiastic there. Team of the season predictions. Yeah.

3:00Yeah, that's huge. It's one that they bring back at the end of the season. and make us all look silly. And all the extra rogue ones as well, like top scorer, player season. Who are your standout performances in the Community Shield then? Oh, to God. I thought Solis was good, man. Yeah, Solis was good. And Benoit was good as well. I like him. What have I been saying? Louis Skelly's on the pass. That pass was fucking close. I cannot believe. Surely you're not going to let him go. No, no, he's not. He's committed to the future. He said he loves the club and all those celebrations and pre-season and stuff like that.

3:24I'm California. Nah, did you see like Bruno get like think he was the main character trying to grab the Community Shield? God, he must have missed being at Newcastle. Hold the trophy is just what? Celebrating the trophy. Rye was carrying it and then Bruno thought he was giving him it and then Rye just walked past him and I was like, yeah. It was a bit out of context. It's because they called him over to do the league. Nah, he missed us. Oh yeah, sorry. You know that Solisette, I told you he's good, right? But he's now got what, six assists in all games? He's going to be good, man. I like the look of him.

3:53He's going to be very good. Very, very good. What do you think of Bruno G's Can we get that off? First competitive sort of... Sorry, sorry. Can we get that off? I see a particular thing. What do you think of Brunergy's sort of first competitive game as a settler? Yeah, yeah. I mean, he's going to just grow into the team and be really good realistically, isn't he? He'll just hit the ground running and make me really sad. Do Arsenal have the biggest... I know they have the best squad. Do they have the best depth at the moment? Or do you think there's still a couple of additions they need? Yeah, because I think depth is important when it's not even just the quality of the player.

4:23It's like, does the player understand the system? If you have loads of new signs coming in, in theory, depth but it's like you put them in and you don't know what the fuck they're doing yeah so it's like when you've done it very naturally in signing like a young player an experienced player everyone else has been around the team so it'll be fine and a question up front who's going to be Arsenal starting number nine next week Havits it has to be Havits he's the best out of your options although I don't know how he's got that goal how did he go for his legs it was actually a terrible header oh yeah I couldn't believe it went in that Odegaard finish was just naughty though wasn't it yeah that was a really nice goal that was the Califuri one yeah I mean he took it well yeah they are they are all decent to be fair yeah but yeah Arsenal won the Community Shield so that is the first of five trophies they're going to win this season and we're going to be now doing a 1-20 Premier League prediction oh yeah oh yeah oh Secret Spurs fan closet fan not even a closet anymore to be honest what he's not been in closet for a while yeah I don't know why I said that every year we all know he's not in closet every year Spurs are back you know what Tom you can go first okay baby have we got our predictions from last year were we any of us decent we did that we did that at the end of last year I think you had the best ones bottom I've gone Ipswich bottom I just don't rate Gary O 'Neill one bit and I think it's a bit like they've already been up they had their fun being like oh we're in the prem and then it's you're coming up I feel like they've already resigned like we're gonna go down Do you think?

5:54That's why I put Hull. You could see the other bit of experience. I feel like Hull would be like... Wow, we're back! A bit like when Blackpool came up and they had a go and then obviously they're just not good enough. Ipswich a future Yo-Yo team. But yeah, and then 18th. The only reason I put them 18th is because I just don't... I can't pick a team that's in the prem that will go down so I put Coventry 18th. But I think Coventry will definitely have a good go and be close. Oh, interesting. I just cannot... Oh, there is one. I can't, I don't know. Oh, there is one. I just think the others have got too much quality.

6:22I don't know. But I would not be surprised at all if Coventry stayed up. I'd be very surprised if the other two did. Well, who's your 17th? This is an interesting one. I've gone Sunderland. Oh, dear. Yeah. Oh, wow. The extra games. Another year on Xhaka. They were bad second half of last season. Bad. But by Broby, though. Really bad. That call was so good. You see it in the front. Yeah, that is the most bad. It's like, fuck me. It's just a battering round. It's so good, isn't it? But again, I think... they should have too much quality still, I think, but the extra games is going to be a big, big...

6:56They haven't been too busy in the transfer, either. They're just getting this player from France who's coming over. I don't know too much about him. But their main summer was keeping Sidiqi, keeping Xhaka, and Probi. Yeah, yeah, having the players today. And also, I do think there was murmurs towards the end of last season about, like, Le Brie and stuff. I don't know. And I could see their owners with how ambitious they are. If they have a bad start getting rid of Le Brie, and it could be a bit... I don't know. And just not having the personnel to fill the boots of... I just think, I don't know, I think, I wouldn't even be surprised if Sunderland just have a real good go in Europe instead and just try and, I don't know, but their home form should get them through, I think.

7:30Then I've gone Fulham, 16th. Yeah. Just so, they're just a complete unknown, aren't they? We don't know how good the lads are from Madrid. Well, the other friend that's a Fulham fan and he said Garcia had a very good debut and Palacios looked alright as well. Yeah, but Arbelo, like... What does that mean? He's only ever managed round Madrid. It's a very different manager in Fulham. If they're in a bit of a battle, I could see him maybe being one of the first sacks, but obviously we'll get onto that. Then I've gone Palace. I'll just, Palace are fine. Palace will be fine. Then Everton, 14. Oh, that's low.

8:02Yeah, I just think... You can't see him kicking on. It doesn't... There's not a good feeling with Moyes, is there? I feel like with Moyes... It's good though, isn't it? Yeah, but... Up front, man. They just won't... Them four are not going to score enough goals. Yeah. Beto and Barry. Scott 3 past us Dick and Dom up front obviously Grealish ain't there either Brendan Johnson there yeah I mean I'll just think then I've gone Bournemouth 13th because of the euro yep but I still think they'll be fine Forrest 12th I think they'll be solid Brentford 11th it's Brentford and I think they've made an unbelievable why do you think Forrest will be solid because of Glasner Glasner you think he's going to do well there yeah it's just I think he's dependable but then I could see Glasner clashing with Maranakis that wouldn't be a fucking issue a surprise if they you could see a big blow up there couldn't you definitely with their personalities Brentford 11th Brighton 10th Brighton I've done Leeds night yeah I think they'll have a good season I think Leeds they'll have a really good season I like Leeds Newcastle 8th really I don't understand why people are worried about Newcastle I don't yeah I don't see I don't get it either I don't see the issue but for me that seems a bit high no like I don't get why I think they'll be fine.

9:19They've lost Gordon, but replaced him with that Torre, who I really like the look of. The two midfielders have got really good reputations. They've still got Hall, still got Libermento. The goalkeepers come in with a good reputation. They've still got good defenders. They've still got Voltemada, Azula, even Visser. They are better than the likes of Everton, aren't they? To me, when I just look at the teams. And no Euro. The new manager as well, we don't know. Voltemada's been a bit shit. And so has Bottman. But I don't... Pre-season, though. I really don't look into pre-season as much as others.

9:47I think it's just fitness and getting used to... I don't know. I'm starting to be concerned that I just don't know if Vultima has got the physical attributes for the problem. Yeah, I'm not... But I think Asula will start, won't he? Oh, yeah. No, but we need a tent. How big a problem is we need a tent? You've still got Harvey Barnes. I just think Newcastle will be absolutely fine. I think they're going into this season. It's one of the first seasons in years where there's no real expectation for Newcastle. It's going to kind of be... Could you see that going the other way, though? No. Really? You only see...

10:15I just think they've got too many good players. I think I look at football quite black and white I think Ah very good the teams with the better players tend to just win more games I think they will and it's they're still a good they're still really good at home I just think they'll be fine a winner around the world but again I do think that matters he has won everywhere he's been I think it's good that he's an angry German as well compared to a nice Englishman you know he's shocked to the system I like the way he speaks as well he seems very assured of himself In our press conferences, he's been weird.

10:48Some of the journalists were so friendly with Hal, like really friendly. And he's quite sharp and blunt with them. I think a lot of the journalists are in a bit of a shock. I do like that. They've got a bit too comfortable. Seventh, I've gone United. What? I just don't. I just think carry. Oh, you're a Man United hater. I'm not hating. You are hating. There's been a lot of comments about it recently, Tom, actually. Tom grew up with the burden of being beaten by Man United every weekend. I'm the one who usually defends United and puts them higher than they usually finish. But I think I'm sick of putting my faith in them.

11:23I think they'll really struggle with the extra games. They've made two signings, one of which, Telemans is great, but I don't think he can be athletic enough to be better than the teams above. 35 mil for Telemans is a fantastic signing. It is, but I don't think it improves them athletically in midfield, which was their big issue. Well, they've got Andre Santos, who's quite athletic. Is he going to start? No, he won't. He'll be Manu. He'll be Manu and Telemans, probably. So you're just back to my point. Yeah, but then you can come on and be an athletic player from the bench. I like that. By that point.

11:49And also there'll be, also as you said, they've got extra games now so they'll need rotation. Yeah. Perfect blunt rotation. Sixth, I've gone Villa. Right, well someone's becoming very, very high at the table. Fifth, I've gone Spurs. Spurs are back! Jesus. I don't knock it. Spurs will be absolutely fine. They've made great signings. I think you're right with the players there. No extra games, which will help deserve his style of play. We are underplaying their signings by the way 100 % they're insane but I still think they won't score enough goals to get in the top four yeah I do but then again Kulosevski will come back I think they'll be absolutely fine could be a big year for Madison yeah fourth I've gone City I think there's going to be a big drop off from City even with Erling Brauthaarland I think losing yeah but he needs the supply I know but you have Liverpool ahead of City yeah Liverpool look more troublesome than that bad.

12:44I've got Liverpool third. Again, I think there's just no expectation with Liverpool. I still think they're going to get more signings as well. I'm banking on them I think there is expectation. Even though you had a shit season, there's still massive expectation because of the amount of money that's been invested. I know, but even still, it's like a new manager and it's like, right, you need to make use of all this. I think Iriola's a far better manager than Morescu. But also, would you argue that City's just infrastructure and squad, the players they've got on that squad is just better. It doesn't really matter who is in charge.

13:14You would have said that when Fergie left United. Yeah, that's true. That was an agent score. It's a massive drop-off, losing Pep and Rodri. Rodri's the one. Yeah, Rodri's a massive. If they'd have kept Rodri, I'd have had them second or third. Yeah. I think to replace him is almost impossible because he does a job of two players. I don't think Anderson's enough to replace that. And if Bwadi comes in, I don't know if they're on about loaning him out and stuff. Straight away. Mental. Yeah, it's mental. I don't think they will now because of Rodri leaving. Liverpool third, Chelsea second, and Arsenal top.

13:44Chelsea's second. I think Chelsea can have a really, really good season. Really good season. A lot of good players. I've almost put Arsenal top. They're obviously the best team but from just like, I don't know who else can even get there. Do you think this is now the era of the Arsenal? The dynasty is arriving again. But then it'll be like a year or two where Chelsea and Liverpool get better under their managers. I think that'll just keep growing as well. I really wanted to put Arsenal second because I really think they're going to win the Champions League and I get so hard to do better. So now you think it's slow.

14:17But now, yeah. You think Arsenal are going to double? I really fancy Arsenal to win the Champions League. Well, it'd be a treble, wouldn't it, with Community Shield? By process of elimination, I just can't see them winning the league. Also, there's just the most stability around that club as well of all the challenges. And I think with the depth now you've brought in, players like Rice won't have to play 60 games against the likes of Hull. Now you've got over that, the burden of winning the league. like last season when you played teams like Wolves at home he had to play Rice because if you didn't play Rice and you drew or lost he couldn't risk still think Arsenal was short of a forward player though yeah but I still think you'll go and get one yeah so do I I'll be amazed if you don't get a nine or a left winner I think someone that works in that position and I do think this year I could see him resting players for the Champions League yeah really going for the Champions League absolutely yeah so that's my 1-20 I have the...

15:13Probably the craziest one, so if someone else wants to... You ain't seen mine, brother. I could out-crazy you. Well, let's see, because I'll crazy both of you. Okay. Shit. Okay, I'll go, because yours is crazier than mine, I think. Yeah, it is crazy. In 20th, I got Hull. Yeah. In 19th, I got Ipswich. Yeah. In 18th, I think... This team will capitulate. Go on. They've lost their best player. I think the manager will have a fisticuff with the owner. And I think it's in the bin for Nottingham Forest. Oh, that's who I forgot. Haven't they lost their best player? Gibbs White's still there. Elliot Anderson.

15:57Gibbs White's better. Gibbs White's better. Well, they've lost Elliot Anderson, who's arguably their best player, if not second best player. He starts for England. Gibbs White don't start for England. I think it's all going to go tits up there. I can't see Glasmus staying the whole season and it'll cost Maranacos bloody millions because that bloke is on fucking loads it's the craziest thing I've ever heard I just think and their squad I just look at I just think they're actually and they did a poor season last year let's not forget instability is the main thing let's not forget so I've gone Coventry to survive big up Frank 16th I've gone Crystal Palace I think they're going to really struggle this season 15th Fulham similar to Palace 14th I've gone Bournemouth I think the loss of Iriola you flipped on the I think they lost Iriola, lost Sonesse still got enough quality though I think they're like 14th it'd be alright 13th I've gone Sunderland 12th your boys Newcastle United 11th I've gone Leeds 10th Everton 9th Brighton 8th Brentford 7th Liverpool Jesus Jesus.

17:09Yeah. I think they're still in a transition period and they've lost Salah and I think that may have a bigger impact on the club than we think. I think the windows fucking, I don't know what they're doing as well. They're just... I think they'll get someone in, but I just think... They're not addressing issues that they have. Have they even got a centre-back yet? But when you lose a player like that, it's not just losing... Yeah. But I think you'll see an immersion of a certain player, I think we all back, who will sort of be there shining light in a poor season. I think I know what you're putting down.

17:37sixth I've gone Aston Villa fifth I've gone Spurs Spurs are back it pains me but I just I think you're right I think you just look at the players they've got on their team and think surely they can't be shit surely also I do think and a lot of their players have got Premier League experience they're all Premier League proven I do think from like fifth to eighth is a bit of a much of a muchness but that could be what makes it an exciting season for those European spots actually second seventh yeah literally literally yeah yeah fifth Spurs fourth United third Chelsea I think they're going to have a good season second I've gone Man City just because of they've got Erling Haaland up front still and first I've gone Arsenal very nice sorry Nottingham Forest fans you can hate me but it's just my opinion well get ready for the correct opinion they're one of the few clubs in this list that could either be really good or really bad yeah yeah no one thought West Ham would go down yeah but I mean there's so much uncertainty around Forest and Yeah, I just don't know.

18:39I just don't trust the old Maranakas. Yeah, instability is the word. 20th, Hull. Sorry, Tigers. 19th, Ipswich. 18th, Sunderland. What? This is not... Genuinely, can I just say it? Like, genuinely, I understand. I'm not going to say it's not completely agenda, but it is off the logic of... No, I'm sorry. Europa League is way too soon. They haven't made any crazy signs. It's just they kept people. But also, I completely agree that they weren't actually as good as everyone's remembering off their league position. As a football team, they weren't as good. And always, in the second season, when you're up, it is a completely different story.

19:16Teams, you're not now unknown. Teams know what you're like. It happened to Leeds with Bielsa, and Leeds came up, and they were really, really aggressive, and they caught teams off guard. Your reasoning is so sound, but has it got anything to do with them doing the double over and finishing higher? Do you know what? Like, realistically, probably bet they still do fucking double on us this season. Well, you bet they haven't. No, they're going to come. Oh, you bet they're going to do the double? Yeah, honestly, I think they're going to have a bit of bother this season. I think they'll sack the manager as well.

19:4217th Coventry. 16th Palace. They're just looking a bit like a mess. They look empty. Yeah, 15th Fulham for the same reason. I think they've just signed a manager with a cool name and hoping that, oh, now we'll get cool signings. They've got good signings in, fair enough. But it's just as a manager, it's so much unknown. 14th Forest. 13th Leeds. 12th Everton. 11th Bournemouth 10th Brighton I know what you're thinking where's Newcastle? 9th Brentford 8th Villa 7th Newcastle 8th Villa? Newcastle or Villa Newcastle or Villa? Newcastle or Villa Villa? They're in Champions League they lose in Martinez they've lost Rodgers they've just signed a 35 million keeper who's they replaced Rodgers with?

20:27they've signed Garnasio yeah Garnasio and Manzambi yeah they've signed Jao Go mate who's got that fucking monster that kid up. Yeah, Brian. Yeah, to be fair, he is class. Look, I'm just putting that purely down to Champions League. I think Emery's the biggest factor as to them not dropping. Newcastle are in like a weird transition along with a lot of other clubs. Villa have stability. You've literally just been talking about stability. Can I just say it? I say this every year when we do this. Every single year when we do this, it's like there's something when you look at the table at the end, you're like, what the fuck happened there?

21:02And there's a team and you have, and honestly, every year we have this argument it's like I can't see that but you have to plan that in because it happens every year there's something mental that happens he's got Newcastle finishing above Villa and Sutherland get relegated yeah but like no one would have predicted Tottenham's 17th two seasons Villarreal dealt with European football week in week out for the last couple of seasons exactly it would be mental for them to fall off I bet 50 quid Villa finish above Newcastle 50 quid Villa finish above Newcastle not start putting bets on this because we get we get to the end of the season and it's all down the drain the game's out first.

21:34What I will say about Newcastle is I think it's either going to be really good or really terrible. I don't think it's going to be really good. I'm choosing to be optimistic. I'm choosing to back the lads and not be a negative Nelly. But there is a world where we're in a relegation battle. That's not what you've told us all pre-season. You're going to be trying to be a realistic fan. I'm a bit terrified for Liverpool. I believe in us. Sixth Liverpool. Fifth Spurs. We've all got Spurs. Spurs are back. Fourth Man United. Third City. Second Chelsea. First Arsenal. wowie interesting I've actually predicted Arsenal to win the league so it would be really embarrassing if you don't win the league once I've predicted it yeah we all think City are going to have a slight drop off even though I put them second I still think that's going to be like a bit far off Arsenal but Spurs and Chelsea are the two that are sort of having a resurgence right it's no European football it's such a big I just think Alonso is the fucking bollocks isn't he right then here we go it's a bit big talk about Reef here I'm not even rage baiting here guys I know everyone says we like to do it on the show case still ongoing I've had it all 20th Manchester City.

22:37What? I think they get charged. I think this season it comes in. Because Pep's gone. Yep. Are you serious? Yeah, I've been serious. They're not going to get points. They'll just get a fine like all the big clubs get. I think they'll get 60 points. 60 points. 60 points deduction. And then they'll probably get, what, 79 points for the season. Puts them on 19 points. They put my survive. That goes 20. No, that's that. No, they could get it. That's a bold call. They could get 100 points. That's a bold call. If they get 60 points, they're not staying up. You'd have to get like 90 points. They're obviously going to get fined and everyone's going to be like, oh, of course they get away with it.

23:08I like it. I like it. I like it. Man City going down. League One. Oh my God. Why not? Why not? He said something mental happens every season. Why is this not the season? Pep's gone. Surely he knows. Maybe that's why Pep left because he knew. He knew. Rodri's gone. Something mental always happens. They're all gone. They're sniffing around that club, mate. They're going deep. Yeah, something going on. 19th hole, 18th Ipswich, 17th Coventry surviving, obviously, because of Man City. 16th Fulham, 15th Palace, two games a week. 14th Sunderland, two games a week as well. 13th Forest, I think they'll be fine.

23:40I think this Glasner thing might be overblown by Theo Littlebaker. 12th Newcastle, I think they'll also be fine. Yeah, transition. But I don't think it's like you're going to bounce straight. It's not going to be that fun, yeah. 11th Bournemouth, 10th Brentford, 9th Everton, 8th Leeds, so I've got Leeds the highest out of everyone here. 7th Brighton, 6th. Brighton 7th. with you it's hard I think they're just better than the teams around them in that area we've lost Danny Welbeck no Welbs no Milner Welbs and Mills Intraud might be going too yeah they have no Van Heek Strauch Strauch's a huge signing yeah 6th Spurs Spurs are back 5th Villa 4th Liverpool 3rd Man United 2nd Chelsea and 1st Arsenal winning the league Man City going down boys shit No longer on the fence.

24:32I like it a lot. They're officially locked in. We'll see you at the end of the season while we laugh. Pitchside Moonstock. No, no, no. You look like a genius. Yeah, exactly. Pitchside Moonstocks. I'll take a bet that it doesn't happen. Yeah, I'm not... Realistically, their lawyers are very good and it probably won't, but on the off-transit... Yeah, I like it. I just cannot see... What if it's one point per charge? 115. 15. It's up to 130 now, isn't it? Oh, is it? They've had a 15. Well, mine is 130 points. Let us know whose team, whose list is the best. One of the predictions. Spurs are back. Yeah, everyone's got them in the top six, though.

25:11Spurs and Chelsea. Interesting conversation. Good boys. This is the most exciting one that I enjoyed the most. Fuck the table. Predicting the team of the season. Yeah, nice. Oh, baby. Do you mind if I go first? Because I don't want you to steal all my great takes. Yeah, sorry. I'm not going to lie. Looking at this, I don't know if you said the same problem. it's pretty hard not to just put the Arsenal 11 in when you look at how shit no but there are certain elements of the pitch where players especially because I actually think that's the other way around because Arsenal aren't the team of individuals I do think they are in a defensive standpoint Raya in goal Rogue Timber I have went a bit rogue here though if he gets a golden glove is that the record is that the record that'd be four five four when's Tim back Tim back Timber Tim back I think end of August be fine Tim back Van Hecker at Spurs big season big strong man on the main stage you know get a bit more applauded he's playing alright yeah he's class isn't he Gabriel and Califiori finishing it off I just like I don't know if he I don't know if Califiori yeah he will who's going to take I don't know I think he takes I think Lewis Skelly will be midfielder this season yeah Lewis Skelly is not in the question for that I think if Capri and Califiori will be fighting they'll probably get like 60 minutes 30 minutes yeah who'd you have the centre half Van Hecker, Gabriel Yeah but Califiori's going to come up with goals and assists like he did in the Community Shield He's going to be your starting left Yeah he will Califiori will Yeah he's the first But he'll get rotated a fair amount as well I don't think he'll Well exciting times as well for me because we've went full circle Team of the season Elliot Anderson He's finally going to do it Three years later This time at City though not at Newcastle In a poor City team he'll be there shining light But I knew he was coming He's going to have a big season man Bruno Fernandes and Rice finishing us off there and this is where I get a bit tasty.

26:59A little bit tasty. So out on the right and put Saka. That's a bit boring. I don't agree with that. No, I'm not sure he would. I think he's going to have a good one. I think Saka's done. Left. Don't say that. That's horrible. Don't say that. He's got different hairstyles. Yeah, he's got braids now. Yeah. Caught me off guard. Looking good, Saks. Munoz on the left for Liverpool. Really? Yeah, he's really good. I don't know if he'll be the starting left winger. He will be. He's really good. He's aggressive and assertive. He'll cement himself. Yeah, I like it. And even bigger than that, Sesko. Oh, wow.

Read the full transcript

27:36No Haaland. No Haaland, Sesko. What? Set me it. So what have you seen of Sesko that makes you think he's going to get more goals than Erling Haaland? Have you fucking seen how big he's got now? But I think he's... Jesus. Is he at AI? No, no. He's actually... Same like as Gary Barlow's son. He's a fucking... No, he's like a monster now. He's bulked up. He's looking really good. he's looking really good under character as well he's been used right well we'll come to that list later on but I think like we said about Haaland the City team looks really shit Haaland don't I know but like Haaland never does you'll still get 25 goals you'll get 30 the difference is that Sesc has Bruno Fernandes behind him so it's like a bit more of a I'll go next to him because mine's very different to that I think I had them third okay yeah fourth I had them fourth behind City still I don't know because they're like seventh race you've struggled to get I've gone I've gone how many goals does Cesco need to score for to make play this season 30 25 it's between that 20 and 25 penalties are Bruno's so no you might give it to him Bruno's on pens there's no way Cesco gets a penalty this season he gets injured no well if he gets injured then he's definitely not going to hey Lou I'll take a bet Cesco's not in team no you'll take a bet you've got to pay out your Bruno bet first Right Raya in goal I've gone Palestra I've gone Palestra Saliba I think Saliba Will cement himself As the best centre-half In the world this season Because I think he is I've gone Colwell Next to him I think he'll really suit That system Under Alonso I've gone with Calafiore as well Because I think he'll get A load of goals And assists Because I think he's really good Basically he plays in midfield Yeah And I think he's really good From set-pies as well He's a big fucker In midfield I've gone Sangare From Brentford Yeah I think he looks so good.

29:23And he was linked with so many big clubs and Brentford never make bad signings. He'd have to have a big, big season to get in. And you had them doing alright. Yeah, I've got Brentford, yeah. And I think when, are they in Europe as well, didn't they? Or did they miss out? Missed out. They just missed out, didn't they? So we've got Sangare, Rice and Palmer. He's back. I was trying to like analyse that Chelsea sort of line-up. It's such a unique line-up. Two 10s, isn't it? Two 10s, obviously the five at the back and then you've got Rhys James almost in midfield. Yeah, with Enzo and Kaysa. Who might be off to City, Enzo.

29:54They missed the deadline, mate. That's another charge. And then my front three. Very quickly on Palma. A successful season for Cole Palma this season. Over 10GA each. Like 10 goals, 10 assists minimum. 25GA. That would be 20. Over 10 for goals and over 10 assists. 15 goals, 10 assists. And do you think Palma, Rodgers are still going to succeed at the same time I think they both will I think them two together is going to be so fun and also have you seen how many goals Jaal Pedro's been getting in pre-seed? Exactly Maybe about 50 I think that front three is going to and then they've got Esteval to come in as well they're going to be good going forward I think they're going to be really fun this season Chelsea I think they'll score the most goals I actually do I think Haaland obviously up front on either side of Haaland I've gone with Rio and Gamora and Torre where have you got Newcastle finishing?

30:448 was it? I'm not going to lie The only problem Turo is going to have is he's not going to get assists because we keep skying as he puts on We keep putting on a plate in the six yard box and he skies it Even if he doesn't get as many assists as Sayasaka or goals he's so exciting to watch It elevates what you think of the person Do you know what I mean? Absolutely Tiago last year scored how many goals but he's shit to watch or is it 3pm? Yeah well he's scoring a goal Yeah exactly So is Ryo becoming with the mere man at Liverpool this season. I think so. But we'll come on to that later on. I think he's going to absolutely...

31:20I think he's an absolute superstar. Yeah, I agree. I absolutely agree. And now Salah's gone, it's just a free reign to just be the man. Shall I do mine? Go ahead. Yeah, Ingold also have Rea. I think that's pretty standard. Right back have gone Pedro Porro. Oh, yeah, that makes sense. Colwell and Gabriel. And then left back under Iriola, Kerkis. I think he'll have a... I don't mind that. He's back with his boy. Back with his man. With Gaffer. Midfield three of Rice, Bruno G, and Bruno Fernandes. Rice and Bruno G. Rice and Bruno G, Bruno Fernandes and then Palmer in the 10. And then up front, I've got Haaland and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

31:55Fuck off, Lee. He's not getting more goals than Jao Pedro, is he? I've got leads in... That's the worst. Calvert-Lewin, we're not like a year ago, a two-year ago, when he had his fucking purple patch. What? Team of the season, what, he's going to get over 20 goals? You've had some stinkers. You've had a few stinkers recently. What is it going to turn into? You think Cavalier's going to get 18 goals? He's going to turn into one of the best strikers in the league. I'll take that bet. Are you even going to start most games? It'll be Okafor, wouldn't it? Okafor's not a striker. Sorry, Reeve. Okafor was scoring most of their goals last year.

32:26Reeve, so hand on heart, you think Cavalier will get 18 goals? Yeah. No. You don't do that. I do. I wouldn't put him in otherwise. So he's going to get... Who gets more goals, Cavalier or Jao Pedro? Jao Pedro. So you think Jao Pedro gets 20-plus? He hasn't scored that many goals in six years. I think Jao Pedro gets more goals than him. But I think Cavalewin is more essential for Leeds. So therefore he'll be in team of the season. Well, last season was the first time he got double figures since 2020-21. And where was he? And he's only done it three times. And where was he? He was at Leeds. How old is he?

32:59Season two at Leeds, mate. How old is Cavalewin? He is. 29. 29. I don't know, man. That's mental. 18. If it comes in, then there you go. So does that mean you think he's... I think he's England's striker. I think he'll be the main man for Leeds. Leeds are going to do really well this season, in my opinion. And therefore, there's a suggestion for him. I see the thinking. He just won't score that many goals. That's why Teogh won't. He won't, yeah. He was the focal point of Brentford's. Yeah, but you have to score a ridiculous amount to get in it, and he won't do that. Harland, Jao Pedro are all going to score more than him, aren't they?

33:32Yeah, they will. So then he won't get in the team. Mate, your crates are going to score more. Just because somebody scored more than him. Or have it. automatically in. Or Simen's going to score more goals in the Premier League next season. Hang on. Can't put him in though, can I? You can predict it. Right, here's the real answer, boys. In goal, I've got Raya. Nice. Right back, I've got, who's probably going to be playing midfield, but I'm squeezing in my team at right back, Rhys James. And then I've got centre-back of Van Heck and Gabriel, left-back Calafiori. You know what I mean? You just caught my eyes there.

34:06I was just staring at him, why are you looking at me like that? Midfield, I've got Rice and Anderson. Yeah. In the 10, I've got Rodgers. Big season for Rodgers. Big season. I think you're right, Tom. I think Palmer and him are going to cook for that Chelsea team. Theo, the only one not to have Bruno for Anderson? I didn't have Bruno either. Yeah, so what? I just think he's going to be good this season, but he's not going to be the level of assist that he got last season. I think he's going to be helped out a little bit more by the squad. And also, he's got... He might not hit the record, but I still think...

34:38He'll have a good season and don't get me wrong. Also, Rodgers does have a really good season and Chelsea finish second which you've been or third, whatever. I've got Man United fourth and Chelsea third. Yeah. Bruno's going to have a good season. He's a quality player but I just think Rodgers is going to be fucking bollocks. Front three, I've got Semenyo. Yeah, I don't mind that. Yeah, on that right winger spot. Left wing, I've got Solis. I actually think you lot are about to witness G.A. I think you might be over-egging that a bit. Nope. You already decided this as soon as you saw his stats. By the time the season starts, he might not even be the first choice.

35:16Does he worry that he couldn't even get in the Norwich team a few years ago? Time changes, bro. I couldn't believe that was the same person. Time passes, and you've seen how he's been playing for Arsenal. In pre-season. He does look all right, though. Community Shield's not friendly. Community Shield's not friendly. I will say, though, there's a lack of top, top wingers. I need to put Ray on him, but I had Bournemouth quite low. Yeah, same here. and then up front obviously I have got your man Erling Haaland I think Haaland's just like undoubtedly going to be the top goal scorer this season If what you think a couple of things happens when Man City drops off do you think Haaland then goes next to them?

35:51I still think Nah because they'll sack Maresco and get fucking But I've called Man City to drop off but still finish second but I just think there's going to be a big gap between Arsenal They'll still have him going forward and Cherokee Yeah absolutely Great chances he's still going to score 20 goals a Man City drop off is not really comparable to most teams drop offs if that makes sense yeah that's true I just can't see other than Gio Pedro maybe I can't Gio Pedro I can't see anyone outscoring not Carver Leuenbro I don't know why did I say that or Danny Welbeck who were the players that you felt almost made it in to your list Ryan Ryan was one for me Gio Pedro yeah but then I've got Bournemouth from 14th but then maybe Ryan could be a shining star Ryan and Kaysa I nearly went I thought I'd go with Sangare I think Carwell's a good shout out as well for Chelsea I was torn between Van Heek and Sanessi as well But I went Van Heek over Sanessi I was going to ask you Because Tommy obviously A couple of people had Carwell in What is it about him that You think this season's going to be the year Playing out from the back Which Alonso likes Which he just excels at And then he's got a bit of a safety He's got more safety next to him now with Lacroix And if Rhys changes his aerosol I think that's a really solid three That's the three they're going to go with And then I don't know The left back they've signed I don't know much about him but that palestra is really highly rated from Atalanta one young player of the season yeah he's would have my mates in Atalanta if I know he says he's a fucking bollock the thing with Enzo though did you see all the stuff with Enzo the other day at the game yeah getting booed they were all booing him and loads of the Chelsea fans had Falkland flags and stuff yeah well you sat being an absolute prick didn't you it's like well you work you work in this country lad what are you doing yeah that is a ridiculous thing where they're being barco how can I hate English people or my servants at the house who said that who said that Enzo Fernandes when he said all my cleaners and chefs are fucking yeah he's a dodgy bastard but I'd like him on my team is he still at Chelsea at the end of this window then I think so you know I think he might go City I think City are going to yeah just keep racking the charges up I hope he doesn't go to City because then I will my prediction will be fucked with City I think him and Anderson would be good together actually but very good together romantically no he's Anderson's out of his league yeah that's true he's a clean cut chap isn't he Anderson Just a quick one to circle back to, obviously, the team of the season that's just happened.

38:05Do you think Thiago keeps up that scoring record with Brentford? I think he'll have a good season, but not... I think the level of output he got this season was just ridiculous. I also think the World Cup may scar him. From just not playing? Well, no, because he started, didn't he? And he was so bad. Yeah, he stopped out. And all the Brazil fans were like... Get out of my tea. Rinsing him. That can have an effect on a player. He obviously came in last season after being injured. No expectations. conversations, Brentford, but there's a lot more spotlight on him, which I think can affect players.

38:35I still think it'd be good. Brentford at all, he's still going to get penalties and goals, but I don't think it'd be the same level as last year. It was like 14 goals. Where did they finish Brentford? Eighth? Eighth or ninth? Just that side, wasn't it? Realistically, that's because the Spurs were so low. They're probably going to get back up. That knocks them down. Leeds look better. I don't know. I just think I can't see them scoring as many goals. How much of an impact do you think the World Cup will as a whole have on the Premier League? We've had the long Club World Cup, the longest World Cup we've ever had, tiny gap.

39:08I think you'll see maybe, how much of an issue do you think that's going to be? I don't think it'll be an issue in terms of squads, but I think you'll see a certain few players like the likes of maybe Sackham Rice needing a few more weeks just to sort of get up to 100 % match fitness. I think they're probably still a little bit tired. I think it'll have an effect. Especially early on. I also think, it'll have a positive effect as well like people that played well in the World Cup will carry confidence into this season or the people missed out i.e. Parma could be the kick up the arse yeah and the brain Manu not playing yeah I think that could that's probably the more what's the word likelihood pressing matter of lads who've missed out like a Foden but I was going to say what about Foden do you think he comes back he looked alright Morescu said him Vardy Olin Harland is the key to his season.

39:58You said he wasn't great, but Foden was all right. He gets to play in a tent. Yeah. He's still got that quality, hasn't he? Yeah. Love to see him back at his best. It's been a while now. Yeah. I actually thought about it, but I was like, I can't suggest Foden. It could easily be a curse, but yeah. We're getting relegated as well. You can't rationalise it, especially if they're going down. Yeah. But I still think Haaland will get the most goals, so he's got to be in the team of the season. Yeah. Well, there you have it, guys. What do you think of our team of the year? Are we miles off it Or are we spot on You don't know What you're talking about We're usually pretty Bang on with team this season I think Yeah I mean It's not that hard It's usually just the best team Isn't it mental That you've predicted Cesc two years in a row But last year He was supposed to be For Newcastle No it is Well to be fair You're going to cook this year With that tilt from With Izak Well that's actually Believe it or not Our attack is somehow Better than that Our attack is I told you He'd be shit No but do you think He'll turn it around At Liverpool this year Well I've got Liverpool He looks like he's had injuries.

40:56Isaac's capable of getting 25 goals. Running in mud though. If you're in the spot right now, how many goals is Isaac getting for Liverpool? 18. 17. One less than Cavaloon. 12. 12. 10 to 12. I think he's going to get less goals than your Christmas last year. You're imagining a full fitness season. He's going to get injured. Lads, he's going to get injured. It's actually really unfortunate for a lad, but he will get injured. We're banking on the fact he doesn't. When I'm answering this, I know he will. Then a fully fit exact season. He'll get up to 20s, yeah. But he won't. Spurs are back! We've had him for two seasons or three, whatever it was, and he had massive chunks out every time.

41:37Going back to your question, I nearly put Fernandes in, actually, for Spurs. I don't know if he's going to have a good season. Would you have put him in over the Tonali suggestion? Out of the two to do better there. No, maybe not then, yeah. Sorry. to Nalio Fernandes. I think, well, we'll come to it, won't we? Should we move on to our further predictions? Right, so guys, now we are going to do predictions for everything else in comfort in the Premier League season. So like top goal scorer, player of the season, young player, best manager, et cetera, et cetera. We'll go back to back as well. One at a time, yeah.

42:07Yeah, yeah, yeah, one, one, one, one. Theo, who's your top scorer? I've gone Erling Haaland. I've gone Erling Haaland as well. I've gone Erling Haaland. I went Sesco. I went Sesco? I think we're in for a little shocker Look again Football's crazy Who knows if Harlan Doesn't pick up a little knock Or whatever I think Sesco's gonna have A really good year How many do you think He's getting though In terms of like He's in the 20s I don't know I think he's in the 20s Where did you put Sesco Where did you put United Third or fourth I can't remember I think he has a good season I don't mind He's got the supply hasn't he Yeah and he's Do you think he still gets Less goals than Jokeres He looks so much God Jokeres Would be lucky to Fucking get his boots Signed by Sesco He's got more goals Than him last year Yeah that's amazing and why is he on your bench?

42:49Because Havertz is back. Yeah. Spurs are back. That's the thing. I don't think Arsenal will have like a golden boot race contender. Well, we'll have Eltsin then. Yeah, well. Eltsin, Eltsin, Eltsin. Who's coming in? How many does Haaland get in this season then? Is he breaking more records? 27. 30. 24. One less than Seska. 27. Whatever that might be. 21. And Seska gets 22. Player of the season! Declan Rice. Declan Rice. I've gone Rice as well I'm with Bruno G I just think That's not even a joke mate I just think Declan Rice He's going to be the leader He's going to be Yeah I know I get it I get it I just have I have a sneaky feeling It's pretty much associated Bruno G could easily do it He could Because he'll pick up He'll pick up goals as well He's going to pick up big goals He always gets himself in there It's almost like A feeling Don't get me wrong Declan Rice was one of your Best players last year But Really certainly I would say your best player last year was either Raya or Gabriel but it was automatically at the end of the season oh he's Declan Rice or Bruno Fernandes like there is just that feeling that he is your talisman and he is your best player so even if he isn't technically your best player on performances he's just in the convo yeah he's just spoken about that absolutely that's some ball knowledge right there Tom well four Declan Rice would have been a bit I actually think I think it's coming in to be fair I'm not even like I wouldn't be surprised everything you said today you've gone I'm not even rage baited Bruno.

44:17I don't think it is. He's such a good player. Yeah, he's a great player, Brito Leji. There's every chance. Better than Rice. Every chance. And I think he'll play a little bit further up than Rice in games. Do you finally admit he's better than Rice? I don't think he's better than Rice. You've got them both now. You can admit. You've got them both. I think he'll have a more prolific season than Defton Rice. He's a better player, isn't he? He is. Which is going to count. I still think Rice is better, yeah. You've got them both. You can admit it now. There's nothing to admit. Best young player. Rio.

44:44Rio. Sean Sturr. and I'm really confident on this one no I'm actually really fucking confident on this one and again no he was in the team of the season actually I think he's team of the season oh I've gone for Ingemo as well can I say in Sean Sturt I'd be surprised if we keep him for more than two years he's like already too good for us but yeah how much pre-season he's played majority of it yeah he's been our best player throughout all of it 18 year old and he's like running out midfield he's really good nice is he joking he'll start first game yes 100 % like he's nailed on start Who's going to be in midfield?

45:18Bamber looks a bit wobbly It's Joel Hinton's injured now Which is the fucking fuming bit Because he was going to clatter into Isaac So I'm a bit annoyed about that He's going to clatter into him he was Miley might not be ready either Have all the new players been told that Isaac used to play for your club? Yeah I hope they are I hope they're pretty Dan Burns is the new captain though Is he? Yeah Dan Burns the captain of Newcastle He's going to be starting Botman shit I don't know Our midfield is going to be like Bamber, Sturr And hopefully Miley if he's ready Holicek is going to start yeah but he looks a bit wobbly but the Jawan did well in the last friendly but I think he goes to Hornacek how come Stur didn't start yesterday against Strasbourg he came in in the second half and we played three friendlies in three days damn that's a lot of minutes that isn't it yeah best manager well Arteta oh yeah I think it's going to be Arteta because I'm guessing we're doing who's going to win manager this season I'll put Alonso Alonso won't win manager this season no no no I've just done like who I think has the best manager performance because manager this season always goes to the winner I think Alonso to turn around Chelsea in one season and I've got them second and they could easily pick up a trophy as well that still wouldn't be as good as winning the league I think it is contextually to the mess that Chelsea's been though I've got us we're in the league and the Champions League so I can't not put Arteta but if Arteta I think I've got Arteta if Arteta wasn't in the conversation let's forget about him for a second would you go Alonso does Erbi maybe maybe if the first do well I really think Chelsea will challenge like for most the season and then just won't be have the depth yeah yeah mate even based on predictions maybe daniel farke daniel hawk based on where i've got yeah i've got them ninth so but it never like yeah i just think it's gonna be outside of our terrace probably uh jabber alonso isn't it if we all think chelsea gonna do as well as we expect them to in this new system first sacking gary o 'neill i've got gary o 'neill as well why because he's shit yeah i just think Ipswich are going to get pumped every week.

47:14Because he's fucking shit and they'll go, oh my God, what have we done? We've hired a PET, let's get anyone else in who can barely read and they'll do a better job than Gary O 'Neill. See, I've been a bit thick here because I put Carrick thinking, I definitely think Carrick's gone this year, but I forgot that relegation team always sack early. Where have you put Man United in your division? Yeah, but they sacked last season and they finished that. But just going back to the Gary O 'Neill thing, I don't think he's got like, for lack of a better word, there's no aura around him either. He's not like, He's not inspiring.

47:43Oral-less man. An oral-less man. He's not oral-less. His kids are watching this. You can't. What the hell? He's a wang. And his dad, Martin O 'Neill. And it's such a crap. I'm sorry. They've made no signings that have made me go, oh, do you know what? They've changed, haven't they? Previously, they were buying within England and now they're looking to buy a board. Yeah, I just... I don't know. They've spent how much on that fataru? He was DC in the championship, but he's not going to keep it. Well, lads, my first second, I've gone for Gary O 'Neill. but then also I nearly went I below well country I need to be consistent I also think Lazno will leave as well but I don't know whether he'll get sacked or he'll walk actually he'll get sacked he'll want to get paid out yeah do you think just back to it do you think we'll see Kieran McKenna back in the Premier League this season I don't know if they'd have had him I'd have said maybe stay off because I think he's the absolute nuts McKenna but he's a weird one McKenna because he's turned down some pretty big jobs like United wanted to talk to him and stuff and he said no I don't know I don't know what his thinking is saying how to get maybe that's what you should do yeah well moving on best newcomer I've gone for Solis oh yeah of course you've got him in team soon yeah I've went Munoz is he going to play enough though for Liverpool surely Rio Rio's going to start surely unless they're going to play him off the right I think Munoz will be in the team he's really good why do you love him so much I know a decent battle because we were supposed to fucking get him no yeah yeah Liverpool are really interested.

49:11Yeah, Rio started the last game for Liverpool against... He's in for a big one. But by the way, he doesn't even have to start every game to be like, not be... You can still be the best newcomer and make an impact. Can't be wrong with you, can you? I was between two. I was going to go Torre, but I've gone Sangare. I went Palestra. Yeah, I like that a lot. Any other names that stood out there? Try away, I like it as well. The centre-half, Forest have just signed from Sporting. Oh, Antonio... I suggested that yeah I suggested him I was thinking Bournemouth centre half what about is it Silva the Bournemouth centre half from Portugal that was mine as well except me we're cooking this year ball knowledge you all laugh at us oh that was a close one you all laugh at us oh it's just a fucking joke pod no it's not we're no shit man yeah Lancer here going down yeah and if you saw my predictions from last year you know that I got everything bang on except 10th nice breakout star I've gone with the beast yeah wait 3 2 1 Maggio Big Brian Maggio yeah Mate he looked like The bomb.com Against PSG Have you heard of him Before this game That game A few Villa fans Had mentioned him to me And I didn't realise When they said I know he's like massive I didn't realise How massive He is fucking massive Like isn't he It's so funny You know he's paid for Luxembourg Under 17 He's already back In the England set up now Yeah He was born in England Moved to Luxembourg As a kid And then But then he's also Allegible for somewhere else As well I think it's Cameroon yeah I think it is Cameroon but we need to get we need to get him in there because he's he's Harry Clayton's replacement I think he's Cameroon I think his parents are Cameroonian grew up in Luxembourg grew up in no was born in England grew up in Luxembourg well that's more of an association than Lisa has for France yeah but he was he made a few appearances in friendlies for Luxembourg but now he's in the England set up yeah so I went to Sula leading striker for Newcastle now he's looked like he's came out lords that's not really wait What about his goal against Man United?

51:09That's not a breakout. That's a one-off. I think you're going to see an animal this season. He's so unpredictable still. But honestly, his directness and unpredictability, it's going to lead to goals. And especially when you have Ture, the crosses that Ture has been whipping in. I'm like, he's going to be putting these away. What's your definition of a breakout then if you've got nine goals last season? Breakout season. I don't want to give away my hot take because his suit is involved there. But he's going to have a huge season. 35 games last year, 19 the year before. No, but like minutes wise, like he wasn't actually really...

51:41Spurs are back. When you think about Azula, it's not going to be... He played 21 games for Sheffield United in the Premier League as well. But when you think about Azula, like you're not going to be thinking about Azula at the end of the season. Like this is going to be a different player to be a breakout season. Interesting. You could say Solis is playing in the room. Yeah. Oh. You've got him. Yeah, but okay. How many goals does Azula get in this season then? Don't give away my hot take. I said best newcomer. That's my hot take. All right. and so but then on the flip side what does that mean for Voltemar and Visser Voltemar is going to be more of a 10 and if he can handle it and I think Visser is going to play with him as well we've been trying at 4-4-2 and we've also played I think he's going to start both I've had a bet with someone that he wouldn't start in any of the first three he's looking way better wait so you've got three strikers Voltemar I think we'll play Ramsey in that court sort of like tennis role I think Asoula will be a bit Roman and Visser will be starting I think he'll be benched he's not been good enough Tura is definitely starting yeah it's it's weird one we haven't got anyone who's a 10 like ramsey yeah kind of and then volumar can't wait how are you gonna play volumar's been playing in the 10 but he's not good in the 10 so he wants to ramsey's gonna start so he wants that most likely gonna start up front with yes but we have been playing a four we've played 4-4-2 as well and we have been playing wissa and asula together it's all up in the air a little bit 4-4-2 with a dm and a cam yeah it's a bit of a two midfield centrum attacking midfield uh my breakout star is buscovic but he was bought for 50 million I'm not sure if that that counts does it he's not at a minute he didn't even play last season yeah he's not at a minute in the prems so is that definitely counts yeah okay cool nice definitely counts biggest flop yeah Man City 20th oh I did it player wise oh I did a player I don't don't matter who's your player well I've said Garnaccio I think you'd be alright I've got a sneaky feeling it's going to be fucking shit that's not everyone knows no no because do you know what no they don't because Lee's literally just said he literally just said I think you'll be alright He's fucking shit Yeah it came from your other ear I didn't say that I thought it came from Look at him It's fucking shit See my point now Oh my god Is it not the case that Garnaccio is the same He's shit mate He's worse than Brogia He's in the same scenario as Newcastle right now Newcastle probably Cos has expectation Garnaccio will probably do okay Cos has expectation He signed from Chelsea for Aston Villa He signed from Chelsea for Aston Villa There's expectation 100 % and people still think he might be decent he's worse than Brogia he is absolutely wank by the way he's actually useless I reckon he could be okay he's not okay he's shit I can't wait to watch it he does the editing he's talented though he doesn't have an attitude and he kicked his ex-wife and his kid out of the house and I don't stand by that sort of stuff we broke up with that oh you should read the articles don't make people homeless guys allegedly but is that biggest flop?

54:29can you yes I think it's a flop by Aston Villa by even fucking bringing him into the building Can I? I don't know if I'm allowed this. In the words of Rory Jennings, I hate Alexander Garnas. Is that allowed? He's already flopped though. No he hasn't, he got injured. He got injured. If Isak has a really short... If Isak costs Liverpool how much money? He got injured. He's supposed to be the man who's flopped. He's better than he is. I'm sorry but the amount of abuse you give me, and all of you's on here, but when I said Isak would flop last season, and now you're saying he's flopped. But he got injured for like most of the season.

55:05Yeah, but you were... So why do you now think he'll flop? No, you got credit for that. I don't think... So uninjured. No, no, no, we're there, we're there. So now he's uninjured. Why would he flop? You've got credit for that though. I think Liverpool in general are going to have a poor season which then would also ultimately lead to maybe their strikers having a poor season. I think their shining star will be Rio. No, you're talking about other players though. Why would Isak flop? Like you're saying... Because you said... You're saying that last season... I'd say there's a lot of pressure on Isak to sort of fulfil the goal-scoring boots that Salah would have left behind and I don't think he'll be able to do it.

55:33I think maybe you're right in terms of the injuries have slowed him down and have caused a lot of issues. I just don't think he's going to get the goals that Liverpool paid for. You got credit for that though just to circle back. You got credit for that? No, you don't. For saying Izak was going to flop. People like that. Thank you for listening to my point of view. Honestly, I'm really... Without getting super angry. I'm really... Well, that's the short man. Like you just know. This is his first Why are you so twitchy for? No, this is the thing though. I'm wondering that Joel Linton's not up against him because like, Isaac would literally running around with like the tightest arse of his life waiting to get fucking clattered.

56:07That sounds weird. Interesting. Sounds sexy. Right, so what's everyone's hot take? I haven't done my flop. Oh yeah, sorry. Go on, that's rude. Sorry, I'm just standing here. I've gone with Elliot Anderson. Why? Because he plays a man's it. Because I think the system they're going to play in my opinion doesn't overly suit him and I think with the loss of Rodri by the way I think Anderson is the type and I think they're going to have a tough season just say it you hate English players just say it I think City are going to have a tough season big price tag big pressure on him and it's going to start maybe badly and I don't know if he's the type of player to be able to turn that round on his own or I could see Anderson having a really good season next season well I've got him in team of the season and you've got him to flop so this could be an all-time Well, next season he'll be in the Championship.

56:57Maybe League One, wouldn't he? No, Clement United will sign him. Okay. So you don't think he's going to have the problem that Carl Phillips or Greal has had where they've got... No, I don't think it's going to be that bad, but I mean... He's a lever buff. He's the most expensive signing ever, isn't he, in the Prem? Is that right? One more million than Rodgers? Yeah, I think he's the most... And for that, I'm expecting... How much was Isaac on 20? Was he not the most? Burt! Burt? Isaac was more than Burt. Okay, most expensive English player. English midfielder. I don't think he's going to live up to that in his first season Oh Rodgers was 1 million more Yeah Do you know what In hindsight like genuinely that is a fantastic bit of business we did wasn't it Yeah and it's led to you We wasted all the money instantly Like we didn't use it But like You asked for 180 million Honestly like That is You personally said Like in hindsight 180 million pounds Can I just say I don't want him to flop But I think you are right though I think I think Rodgers not being there totally changes Anderson's game I think I think Anderson's the real deal He is Jordi Maradona It's easier to be better when Rodri's directly behind you.

57:57He was great for Forrest. He's behind you. Yeah, but we've been over this. Playing for Forrest is a lot different. I know it's different. Having to dictate games. And you could say he was City's worst player against Arsenal as well, but this man. Nah, he'll rise to the occasion. All the Anderson strengths are the opposite of how City play. Yeah, chaos ball. Maybe it's different under Marenska. If he was next to Rodri, I'd be more confident with him. but he's now probably going to have to be that dictator in midfield I think he has that in him I genuinely think he has that all over he's a further forward player than he's more of a he's quite a holder midfielder as well he's more of a the tempo setter but again an 18 year old like it's a lot of pressure I think it's a tough one I think he's going to have a tough season especially when they're going to start sorry my obvious hot take was the disaster class going on at Nottingham Forest I think it's all going to go shit will hit the fan yeah is that a hot take it's a haberdevi season well yeah but shit will hit the fan at Forest wow yeah but Glasner the most expensive second most expensive paid manager gonna get isn't a hot take what is your hot take all you've said is it's gonna not in a forest to get relegated oh sorry that's your hot take yeah sorry I didn't hear you and Glasner to not make it to the end of the season I did in my predictions what was your you said that you had two what was your second one I think Solis will get like 15 goals 15 assists fair enough you've tripled down 15 goals 15 assists minimum Can I say mine then?

59:25Because obviously Mine leads on from yours Right Obviously I've got the Man City Deduction comes in That's pretty massive But my other one was Arsenal's top goal scorer Isn't at the club yet? Ozzy man Is it Ozzy man? Or who? Who? Julian Alvarez No He's not going Hasn't he just done a new contract At Atletico Madrid? No he's in He's a Batalona How are they affording anyway? He's linked away Oh Spotify He ain't going Or a big left winger I just don't know we share the goals around we share the goals I think Azula's gonna get 20 Premier League goals more than Cavalier there's a hot take and then it's just idiocy I think Azula's gonna like have a fucking unbelievable season and like he's gonna go 400 mil nah he won't go 400 mil but like he's gonna he's gonna he's gonna score 20 goals it was my take was that him and Alanga would get a combined goals assist of like 40 but like fucking hell Alanga Alanga Yeah but Alanga in pre-season Just didn't look like the World Cup Alanga So you know when you say that Are you counting Assist from Alanga Goal and assist Yeah That counts as two That's two Right That counts as two And then the reverse Yeah yeah Yeah that's up I have said You're mental That's good Arsenal will go and beat The Emirates and win the Champions League Yeah I like it I was going to say The Champions League For the Champions League I know what you're doing How many points Did they get in this season A million Ninety-one 101 and become another centurion 101 No Why not 90 on the dot On the dot On the nose Lewis I just think I look I think it's above 90 I don't know 90 I really like 98 How long was it until you lost at home last year It was a while A very long time yeah Wasn't it United We're also going to break Chelsea's defensive record Gabriel's going to Gabriel's going to score 15 goals 15 goals What the fuck I did put them on there because I wanted to put them on the spot let's go through the trophies FA Cup oh trophies let's not are we not going to do this in another clear okay here I'm doing it right now for you Will FA Cup will be Chelsea yeah I don't know I agree I think that too I agree Albans get to the semis yeah I agree on that one Chelsea will be the FA Cup what did you suggest Lucas on one nah I mean it not I was close to that yeah Chelsea I agree actually Four people saying Chelsea League Cup Yeah I've gone I've gone Chelsea Both Domestic double Man United Arsenal Arsenal Treble Oh Hover, hover So they're not going to do the treble But they're going to do a treble Yeah Newcastle We do good in League Cup We do good in League Cup You're done good Oh shit Yeah And you can find it Yeah, you can find out, lads, because we're playing West Brom, so that's going to be fucking fun.

1:02:23Next week, you'll be out of it. Yeah, I should say West. By the way, when you knock us out, I'm going to change that to West Brom win the League Cup. Is he Cobham? Yeah. No, I'm Albion now as well. As long as we can keep Jimmy Jair Morgan, I'm just going to savor it, because he's far too good. I've just realised something. Wait, so Champions League, Arsenal. Yeah. Arsenal. Arsenal, Arsenal. Or Barcelona. I'm between Arsenal and Barcelona. Arsenal and Barcelona, if it works out, it could be a final. I just think Arsenal this year, it happens all the time, like with teams. There and there about.

1:02:54They just get there and then they finally get it done. Could PSG go back to back to back? I don't think PSG will do it this year. I think it's going to be Barca or Arsenal. Real Madrid. I'm actually pretty confident. What Real Madrid under Mourinho with the signings they've made, could it be the stability that the club they need? I think we'd still beat them. I think it's probably the other way around. It could blow up. Mourinho, isn't it? Yeah. We all know after watching the documentary. The documentary's class, but he is past it. Well, he went undefeated. last season. And didn't win anything?

1:03:20Finished third. Yeah, still won undefeated. Now he's back with a top team. I would say if Alvarez ends up going to Barcelona and Rodri on top of it. Yeah, Barcelona. Jiminy Crickets. So, Tom, you think Arsenal win a treble. So, after me thinking we would win it last year, oh, I said quarter actually, didn't I? Very different situation there because we've got over the line. Yeah, it's very true. So, Arsenal a treble, Arsenal double. I have said all along that once Arsenal prove to me they can do it, I will trust them back them more. Yeah, nice. a man of words it was never an agenda oh it was for me and I just think also again the League Cup last year you got to the final and I just think you're that much better than everyone at the minute yeah maybe I'll change my Chelsea League Cup to Arsenal I'll join you on a treble yeah fuck it FA Cup as well quad FA Cup I nearly went league mate Quint Apple Community Shield as well they're going to have a good season though I can feel it well there we have it what do you think of what we said isn't it weird we started a whole new season yeah yeah I saw that what about Europa League Yeah, yeah, Europa League.

1:04:18Brighton. I don't know who's in it. I don't know who's in it. Who quantified? I think Brighton will win it. But what Serie A clubs in it? Bournemouth in it. No, it's Sunderland. Yeah, Bournemouth are also in it. They finished one behind it. Conference League will probably be Atalanta. Bournemouth. European champions. What English? Sunderland. What Serie A clubs? Como? So you've got Bournemouth and Sunderland. In Europe League. In Brighton. And Brighton in the Conference League. Oh, sorry. And Palace. Brighton, Conference League, Bournemouth, Europa League. Whichever one they can probably be. What a Como win.

1:04:47Fans are all in the Champions League They're Champions League? Yeah, they finished fourth Europa League Well, Crete Isn't it weird We have a whole new season About to start, guys All the madness And craziness And fun on this channel Is all about to unfold I feel like I feel like the season's Not even over From last year It's all about It's just so full of hope And possibility So many funny things Can happen And Cappy might get his ass out again Like, who would have ever Thought that would happen Literally, like There's a never-ending fountain of possibilities. This is the best part of the year because it doesn't matter how shit your team is, how shit you've been, how shit the signing's been.

1:05:24There's always a bit of hope. I'm really looking forward to it. If you win the first game and you're technically top. I'm looking forward to the Brunergy winner against Newcastle. I'm looking forward to the first match of the day. I just love watching it. I'm liking it at the minute. I was like, oh, Albin could do well. Then we get a really good result and it's like, we could win it. But then it'll all come falling down. but while and I hate people who are like oh don't don't get too ahead of yourself yeah I fucking will get ahead of myself we nearly went bust too right you should get ahead of yourself and now we're fucking winning it I'm a big fan of that yeah and on that note guys make sure you like and subscribe because we're here to stay forever big things coming soon yeah really big bigger than Lewis's eyes yeah and that's really fun that's really big um anyways peace
