In short

Premier League review focused on Arsenal’s North London derby win over Tottenham, plus discussion of Arsenal’s title credentials, the “biggest derbies” theme, and other weekend results (Forest beating Liverpool 3-0, Newcastle/Marseille/England talk, Bournemouth/West Ham/Leeds/Wolves relegation chatter, and free-kick goals like Morgan Rogers’).

Guests

Reev, Thea Baker, Tom Garratt (co-hosts). No other named guests appear in the transcript.

Key claims

  • Arsenal are “a level above” the league, showing depth (Gabriel’s absence not a major issue) and open-play dominance; Spurs offered “nothing” and had one of their worst statistical performances in years.
  • Spurs’ style is criticized as “haram football” and too passive, especially at home.
  • Liverpool are in a crisis after losing 3-0 to Nottingham Forest; Slot is under heavy pressure.
  • Chelsea are viewed as improving despite injuries; Arsenal vs Bayern and other Champions League fixtures are framed as major statements.

Notable examples

  • Arsenal goals: Kudus scoring after being on the wrong side of Eze; four open-play goals; no set-piece goals.
  • Forest at Anfield: “two seasons in a row” beating Liverpool 3-0.
  • Morgan Rogers free-kick: described as a knuckleball/dipper that beat the goalkeeper.

0:13Theo:And if you want more Pitchside, catch us on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram where you can find us by typing in Pitchside.

0:19Reev:Let's get into it. No, seriously, though, welcome back to the Premier League review, guys. And we've got a lot to review today because the North London derby happened. and unfortunately Hooray! Unfortunately one of you was wrong You said 1-1 in the predictions Why are you so worried about what we're saying? Why don't you just celebrate a derby win? You know what I mean? I called a 3-0 battering So you were wrong? And you were wrong then? It was Premier League Patrick

0:46Theo:in the North London derby You were wrong?

0:48Reev:Since Alan Sunderland But that wasn't in the Premier League What position did Alan Sunderland play? He was a striker? Not true Can we check that actually? Yeah she scored a goal against Manchester United which broke their hearts in the cup final. Alan Sunderland, can we check what position you play, please? Did you just go, that's not true, not knowing?

1:05Lewis Bowden:No, I've never heard of him. Because he is. Can we check it? I mean, he probably is. If he's got a hat to it.

1:11Theo:He's scored a winner in FA Cup final. That's what I just said, Will. He didn't do a background check on Alan Sunderland. He knew we were going to question him. He had everything ready this time, in fairness.

1:22Reev:Fuck, you know. That is one of the most convincing results in a North London derby for a long, long time. Like, Spurs offered nothing. It was a free goal as well. The first 30 minutes were not too convincing either way, we must say. Like, you did then stomp them from that minute onwards. Either way. Like, for 30 minutes, there was zero happening on that pitch, except from the third minute rise chance. But then you took the game. Except from the chance that happened. It was as soon as you scored where they actually had to come at you, then you started fucking dicking them down. Do you know what?

1:51Reev:I think the first 30 minutes, I think you could also argue that, I think Arsenal were a little bit like I cannot believe they've just sat back like this Do you know what I mean? Oh fuck off And then they were like The handbrake came off Let's just go for it What game did you watch? I set her up on the side and he literally went Well yeah

2:13Lewis Bowden:Just sometimes it takes time to break teams down I think you tell yourself like a story Yeah

2:19Reev:So do you, you said we pinned you in We did pin you in Yeah that was more of hope no like it was a fucking abysmal first beginning to the game but then

2:29Theo:I'm trying to get up this thing watching TikTok no you were seeing Alan Sutton in highlights no no no I'm getting up the fact that he's trying to look at stats behind fucking Rory Togsball's head don't oh sorry but I saw the stats previously and it's one of the worst statistical performances in Spurs recent history since like 15-16

2:50Reev:in regards to like what stats

2:53Theo:shots shots, expected goals, touches in opposition box, passes in opposition half, final third passes. They basically just did absolutely nothing all game other than with Charleston booed it in from 40 yards.

3:02Lewis Bowden:We know, we watched it. No, I know.

3:04Reev:I'm just, I'm bringing up the fact that, yeah, they were absolutely horrible across the board. Do you know what blew my mind though? Like how much space has they had every time on the edge of the box and in the middle of the park?

3:15Lewis Bowden:That was in the second half though, when they were actually trying to get free. That's why, that's why Spurs played the way they did in the first half. The thing is, even the first goal, though, it was like Kudus was just on the wrong side of Eze. And when he tried to get right side, it was too late and he scored. It was like he was just picking up random massive area of space on the edge of the box, which is a prime position for him.

3:33Reev:Not a single set piece was scored that game. Four open play goals. Coincidentally, two of those goals happened within like two minutes after Lewis said, oh, you lot can't create open play chances. I actually have a theory right now. I have a theory, right? They heard you say it. Because I think teams are now so worried about set pieces because we did the same fucking thing against Brentford leaving Dan Burn on you're now going to concede more open play goals because you're focusing too much about preventing set pieces but is it not just a case the team is good you've played 40 chess no no so Newcastle left Newcastle left Burn on because we didn't

4:04Theo:Arsenal can use that to their advantage the whole like set piece thing but they're still a really still a really good team in open play anyway people are focusing so much about say Brentford you're focusing so much don't give them a throw don't give them a throw let's have tall players on they're just going to score and play That's what they did against Strasse.

4:20Lewis Bowden:So which one of the Arsenal goals come from them trying come from Spurs trying to stop a corner? It's subliminal. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Arsenal actually had a lot of set pieces. Was it the pass over the top in the middle to Trosso?

4:32Reev:Look, Arsenal actually had a lot of set pieces apart from the good save from Barrett and Saka. Yeah, like three. Rice had two. Saka had two. Then there was corners. No, we're on the back corners. Set pieces are still free kicks. No, I know,

4:43Lewis Bowden:but you tend to score more from corners, don't you? Look, I'm saying it's like velociraptors. You're looking at the one in front of you, but there's one coming behind. I think you're talking an absolute shot, to be honest. I thought Arsenal were really good. Yeah. Sensational. Could have gone up

4:55Theo:even earlier as well with that little through ball from Eze to Declan Rice. Yeah, he should have scored. It could have been like 5-6-0, you know. I'm not even joking.

5:03Reev:They were that bad, especially towards the latter stages of the game. There was just so much space.

5:07Theo:And in terms of like the landscape of the Premier League, is that, well, obviously it's the best. You won the league. Don't say it. You've won the league. No, I'm not going to say it because he's going to say it anyway sarcastically. I'm actually not that's the best possible weekend I'm not even being sarcastic City lost Liverpool lost Arsenal won

5:22Lewis Bowden:I think this weekend's a massive statement from both City and Arsenal City aren't quite there to do it City aren't good enough to win the league they're just not you can't just rely on Haaland to win you a title Haaland and Donnery I think you're just Arsenal are just I think they're a level above everyone in the league at the minute

5:45Reev:and now they're showing that they have the depth like Gabriel out didn't really fucking matter not even a mention about Gabriel before the game because it was that there was that seamless transition between yeah you got the depth now that was a bit of a mention from Arsenal fans no but like not really like we weren't bothered which in previous am I bothered no I wasn't bothered do you know what I mean in previous seasons we would have been like oh shit Gabriel's out Odegaard's out all these players are out but now it's actually am I bothered we're not bothered you've had a better window you've had a better window yeah

6:14Lewis Bowden:I think I do think as well there is the element of like fucking hell Xavi Simmons I feel sorry for him he's getting bullied he's actually getting bullied out there every single week sorry for someone who's playing badly do you feel sorry for him football aside football aside he's actually getting like a little kid on the pitch like the way Declan Rice just fucking handled him he's going to cry smash him it's not like it's not like he pushed him off the ball I know but it's just like it's just like shouting out like I actually thought Simmons was one of their only bright sparks when he come on, to be fair.

6:45Lewis Bowden:At least he was having a go. I thought, yeah. I mean, they're just so lacklustre. And I mean, what we... I'm not going to say I said he would fail, but when we spoke about Frank at the start of the season, I did mention that I was worried that it's a different step. Going from Brentford to Spurs, you can't play that way. I can't keep playing that style of football. It's the whole thing about when people are on the back of Glasner. If he steps up to, I don't know, a Liverpool sack slot, and he goes, you can't play that way at home, more like when you play the big team. It's just... In fairness to them though, like that performance was shit.

7:18But if you actually look at how they're doing this season... Now, Lewis, stop looking at the

7:22Lewis Bowden:league. Have you watched them?

7:23Reev:Spurs are so up and down. Did you watch them against Chelsea the other week?

7:27Lewis Bowden:They played exactly the same against Chelsea the other week. They barely had a shot. Yeah, it is shit. But those are games that you would probably expect Spurs to not so much Chelsea, but Arsenal not to this extent. But as long as they win the games that they expected that they should win, they should be fine. All the money they've spent in the summer. They're in the Champions League now. They've brought in a new manager because they're not even competitive in these games, though. Yeah, so that's the poo-poo bit.

7:49Theo:You can't come into a North London

7:50Lewis Bowden:but the issue is, it's not even like, daddy, you half wouldn't mind if Spurs had a go and then they were just getting beat. They're playing haram football and getting battered. Yeah. It's counterproductive. I do think Frank's good enough. Look, it's not clicking the way he'd want it to now but with time, they are going to get better, man. Why? What makes you think that? He hasn't shown anything at a bigger club where he can get this right and become... Mate, they're so bad at home. They're so bad at home because I don't think he knows at the minute, anyway, how to coach a team who dominate the ball and dominate team.

8:25Lewis Bowden:He can't do it. You're probably right, but again, you have to give him time as a manager who came into a brand new club because... Well, do you mean why? Because if it's not working, why... Because you can't change the philosophy of your team just overnight. We had this... Forest have. Forest have, and that worked. but there's instances where it has worked there's instances where it doesn't who were we arguing with before I think the big argument where you said keep him give him more time no no no it was before where I was saying I can't remember who it was when I was saying you're not going to be able to implement it overnight I think it was Potch or someone no it was Ange it wasn't Ange no it wasn't that recent but what I'm saying is you can't always it wasn't it's a different manager

9:03Theo:when he was at Chelsea yeah it was Potch how far are we going back no he's right you can pick up Give Van Gaal some time. Sometimes managers need more time to implement what they're trying to do. You can't expect someone to just change football. Because you didn't have a full pre-season.

9:19Lewis Bowden:But we're talking about the elite level of football where unfortunately you don't have time anymore. Yeah, but Poch to Frank is a very different style of football. Sorry, Ange to Frank is a very different style of football. That's not going to just switch overnight. Everyone understand their jobs and roles perfectly to the point where they can go to Arsenal and Chelsea. these teams do about more time with these managers I completely disagree I just change it like that do you know what's his mind so what's a bigger change Ange to Frank or Ange to Deich yeah but Tom and he's turned it around immediately sometimes but then like you said yourself it's different with different levels of teams no no I'm saying at the elite at the elite level the elite managers can turn it around quickly

9:58Theo:I don't necessarily agree with that one and also it hasn't turned like that

Read the full transcript

10:05Lewis Bowden:Frank's had a whole summer all his signings and we're nearly at Christmas and it's shit so what's your suggestion then get him out I'd replace him with someone better I think that's all

10:14Theo:your point there of Ange to Deitch is even more of a discrepancy that's not necessarily true for Forrest I didn't even say it's about the same the Ange to Deitch doesn't make sense anyways is very similar to the one that they play on the Dice right they're just regressing back to what they were doing and Ange to Deitch doesn't make it because Ange himself didn't have time either. So you're complaining, you're saying, see how quick Dice can turn around. Like you said, he's just reverting back to what did work. Ange didn't, it's not like Ange was a successful long-term manager at the club. He also didn't have time to implement a new style player, which was, if anything backs my point.

10:51What about Nuno then at West Ham? He's done it straight away. Yeah.

10:54Lewis Bowden:Can I ask as well? So good managers at the top level can turn things around quicker, can't they? Do you not think it's easier to, no, because this is the thing, when you have a team who's massively underperforming like West Ham, it is going to be able to, easier to fix those big obvious cracks more immediately. Like West Ham were so massively underperforming. They weren't even starting Callum Wilson. That's an immediate change that has made a massive impact even this weekend and the last weekend as well. Can I ask you? But Spurs are also massively underperforming? Yes, currently, yeah. So then if someone new come in who's probably better than Frank...

11:24But compared to their performance in the league last season, they're doing a better performance this season.

11:28Lewis Bowden:In terms of points or play style? Well, in terms of points. Because they're just as bad to watch and they're getting beat just as easily. I know, but all the points is what matters, isn't it? Like, I'm saying, Frank has such a good... For the big clubs, no, that's not true. Frank has such a good... Frank has such a good... Frank has such a good... Frank has such a good...

11:45Reev:Frank has such a good...

11:46Lewis Bowden:It's true. The top teams, they have to... Unfortunately, you can't... Especially at home, you can't play a certain way. You do have to be on the front foot. You do have to dominate teams.

11:59Reev:With the Thomas Frank thing, do you think it's a similar... I know obviously Liverpool won the league last year, but the fact that Slott isn't really changing Liverpool, there is no change and they keep losing. Frank's not changing this Spurs side and they're dropping and dropping and dropping. Slott has money in the bank though, don't he? No, 100%. But he's under pressure as well. He needs to change something. But he's not. Do you know what I mean? Do you think Frank, look, they had an up and down start of the season. Now it's way more down. Do you think he just needs to do something different and try to offer something different?

12:27Reev:You look at how City, even this year, I know they're not, you know, they're still a bit far off Arsenal but at least Pep's changed things in matches even Arteta has changed things in matches they're a different level of coach aren't they but do you not think if you're going to manage a club the size of Liverpool the size of Spurs you need to be able to adapt to win these matches

12:45Lewis Bowden:but I don't know if he can

12:46Reev:I think if you're going to give them surely I think Frank I understand what you're saying a different level of team but Frank has enough in the bank in the Prem to trust them longer to try and figure out and try and find some improvements I mean like look they weren't in a good

13:00Lewis Bowden:Sorry, but why has he got money in the bank? He hasn't got money in the bank for a top team. Yes, but for someone to get money in the bank at a top team, you have to give him time at the top team. I feel like it's so rash to think that Frank, who's built a reputation... For a minnow? For a minnow? Built a reputation so well in the Premier League. From a manager who hasn't really came for much at all, and he's been interviewed by Chelsea Mania and all these big teams looking at him. To sack him before Christmas is ridiculous, mate, as I'm suggesting that. It's like you have to give him time to actually implement slowly what he wants from the players.

13:31He'll learn a lot that went wrong in this last few fixtures. He's had some big losses in the last few fixtures. You just thinking, get him out. Look at Amrum. We all wanted Amrum out for ages. I still don't think Amrum's

13:41Lewis Bowden:good enough for United. They're on the same points as Spurs. I think it's just, Rash, who'd you get in? Who'd you get in for Frank? I don't know. Liverpool, Spurs, United

13:48Reev:are all on the same amount of points. Well, United got a game in hand on their play tonight. But the difference is Liverpool's points have come more recently, whereas, so United are on the upwards trajectory, whereas Spurs and Liverpool are on the downwards trajectory. come recently. United's points have come more recently. Whatever correlated to my hand movement, that is what happened.

14:08Reev:Before we move on, I just want to touch on Eze. Fucking phenomenal. He was unreal. Absolutely phenomenal. Even just outside of the goals.

14:16Lewis Bowden:Is Eze making a claim for signing of the season?

14:19Reev:He's ruined that.

14:21Lewis Bowden:No, he's not.

14:22Reev:Do you know what I'm happy for him though? You know at the start of the season we were like, Odegaard's going to be the 10, he's going to play on the left, he's going to take that 10 slot. yeah he's got a bit lucky with Erdogan's injury but he's come in and he's not going to lose his spot I know Erdogan's still club captain but you can't drop him if he's playing like this yeah I agree I'm so happy for him yeah I fucking love him actually Frank said before the game who's Eze as well which is a terrible clip now isn't it Dolan why put yourself in a position for that to happen to you also he knows who Eze is yeah he made a little I think he was Joe no I know but like he laughed up and made a job but just don't do that ahead of the time he was digging him out

15:00Lewis Bowden:he's because of the saga wasn't it he's been a job two spurs

15:03Theo:that's the reason he laughed after him we did

15:08Reev:who do you think I am who do you think you are I am I am Eddie's bloody phenomenal and what a pass by Foden as well to him what what oh the England game fucking hell I got a couple laughs over there I can't fucking see myself out yeah

15:27Theo:alright see you later actually move on Liverpool lost 3-0 of course to Northern Forest what Stibby that's two seasons in a row Forest have gone to Anfield and done it there mate oh

15:38Lewis Bowden:conceding three at home to Sean Dyer oh my god it's so shit innit

15:42Reev:surely they'll turn it around they're so bad do you like

15:49Lewis Bowden:they were unlucky with the goal though

15:51Reev:why didn't they get gay in the summer

15:54Lewis Bowden:they were They really needed another striker.

15:57Reev:Who would have thought they needed another centre-back?

15:59Lewis Bowden:Not me. Do you not think they were a bit unlucky with the goal, considering the goal... Yeah, yeah. They even said it on the commentary as well.

16:07Reev:They said that about one of Eze's goals as well.

16:08Lewis Bowden:I know this one. I mean, I don't... By the way, I all think they should count, but...

16:13Theo:Yeah.

16:13Lewis Bowden:But they all should count. Yeah.

16:16Theo:Inconsistency to them. Yeah, you can't have two and then not have one. I just don't...

16:18Lewis Bowden:I don't get why one is and one isn't. Yeah, it's stupid. It's not like them to make it up as they go. But it's a shame, you know. It's a shame. Stupid It's not like Liverpool

16:26Reev:Ever benefit from Ref decisions Wazor obviously Watches this show Because he said Salah should drop Salah Would I just say What are you on Salah should drop Salah Slot should drop Salah Slot should drop Salah

16:37Lewis Bowden:He's been saying that For weeks Rooney has Yeah I agree I mean yeah he doesn't But Who would start over him On the right Anyone

16:45Reev:Chiesa

16:46Lewis Bowden:Rio Chiesa Anyone Chiesa just like The typical Can only do it Off the bench player You know what I mean I don't know I just thought He hasn't been given in the challenge.

16:56Reev:Everyone thought that about Trossard though and now he's cemented what, eight starts in a row? He's playing absolutely phenomenal. Trossard's been one of your best players. He has, exactly. Who's to say Kiersog can't get a run of games? You know, he's one of... I'd play him up front. He used to be the boy. He used to be the boy.

17:08Lewis Bowden:I'd say put him up front at this rate. I still think they should try to up front Liverpool. Yep.

17:13Theo:Izak and Neketike. Why not? With a diamond, yeah. What do you mean? He plays for the club, mate. I'd just... It'd be interesting. If you're talking about dropping Salah, I mean Izak would be very lucky to be in the team as well

17:22Reev:you've got to give you£120 million striker a go this is I don't like when prices come into if a player's playing like poo poo it doesn't matter I understand but like in pure football in terms if a player's playing like absolute poo poo so you just you never give them a chance you never give them a chance

17:36Theo:to turn it around given how good they are in terms of quality that you pay for all I'm saying is Slot said how many starts has he had he's had three starts he's had he's had four starts and lost them all right no four starts or four appearances in the league he's had five appearances he's had more than four appearances but irrelevant to that irrelevant to that if you've paid that amount of money for someone you think they'd score a goal in the first four starts so you at least want them to try and turn it around therefore you need to play them more otherwise what's the point in trying to all I'm saying is this is by his side but all I'm saying is we can take away the pre-season argument because Slott said a couple of weeks ago we can start judging Izak now when he went on to get worse and then you have Eketika who's clearly better than him so like he's been stinking it up as well not as bad as Isaac at least he's actually scored in the fucking Prem I mean like no but jokes aside this game here was absolutely abysmal from Isaac like it was abysmal mate they were all abysmal yeah losing 3-0 to a team that's generally considered a lot worse than you isn't just one player's fault I mean yeah but the nil part you could really have helped with really they had like 17 touches in 60 70 minutes 67 minutes Yeah, but if you can see three goals...

18:47Yeah, but as the lone striker,

18:49Lewis Bowden:that probably isn't all your fault if you're not getting many touches. I don't know why we're defending he's actually. We're not. No, we're not. You're just so far the one in. I'm not. I'm saying I'd just start Ekotika. I'd say I'd start Ekotika.

19:01Theo:They're just poo across the board, mate. That's the only problem. I think defenders... He's actually the worst player in the pitch, that game. He's actually the worst player in the pitch.

19:09Reev:I think they're... You've got... So Bozlai, arguably their best defender and he's a fucking midfielder.

19:14Lewis Bowden:It's wide areas, man. They're so easy to get at Down the flanks

19:19Reev:They're just so open They're so open

19:21Lewis Bowden:They're worse written than a keeper Who let in three goals They're um Yeah because Alisson did actually Make some good saves

19:29Reev:Canate mate

19:30Lewis Bowden:Canate was shit again That's your man

19:32Reev:The draw's crazy Look at the team That's your man There's no excuse for Liverpool here There's no excuse They have a full Full strength team there Against a relegation team A team that was in the relegation zone Yeah And they've lost 3-0 at home that is absolutely mind-boggling from Liverpool is it too early to say like this is a fucking crisis no

19:52Theo:of course it is no it's not too early they're in a crisis they're going to say that a few weeks I think if you lose 6 out of 7 7 out of 8 as Liverpool as well 7 out of 8 there's no

20:02Lewis Bowden:none of the big 6 can lose 7 out of 8 and it not be a crisis especially the rearing champions as well who have invested 450 million in fairness they were like this when they won the league last Not results wise Not 7 and 8 The COVID season I can't remember But was it Yeah the following It was the COVID season

20:21Reev:They won it in COVID Didn't they They won it in COVID

20:23Theo:Yeah but the following one Is what I'm talking about

20:25Reev:Last year Oh my god

20:26Theo:That's the only time

20:27Reev:They've won it Yeah Last year in COVID season

20:29Theo:When they were Defending champions Jesus It's early Tom

20:33Lewis Bowden:It's not that early You've had two coffees It's not that early Yeah I mean They're weird So weird at the minute But you Like Normally Liverpool They started alright as well In the game actually

20:46Reev:They're known for their work rate And their hard workingness

20:50Lewis Bowden:You should start a play though What did you just say there? You're talking about intensity You are struggling today No yeah They had the game You can press under Klopp But they have changed under Slott They've become more possession based

21:01Reev:Surely when you're losing games At least the one thing you should do Is fucking work hard and track back Right At least Who's not tracking back? Don't you think Salah?

21:12Lewis Bowden:Salah? gap po? I don't think it's a case of not trying. They're just in... They're in a shit... No, mate, giving up. Players aren't going out there not trying, Theo. They're just in a stinker at the minute. It's a mess. They're too easily got out wide. And then the rest, it's just... I think it's the classic as well. When you've shown this much weakness... For us going into that thing, we can fucking have Liverpool. We did start picking on that

21:42Theo:at the start of the season. And now everyone's going in with the ideology of like, let's just go that.

21:48Lewis Bowden:Bournemouth kind of set the tone, didn't they? You can actually get it. The thing is, they have genuinely looked wobbly since the first game. 100%. Defensively, yeah, they have.

21:56Reev:But we said this at the start, didn't we? Like, they're winning games but playing badly, which is almost sign of a champion. But actually, no. You need a picture. No, yeah, yeah. And this is crumbled. Do you think they're missing Trent?

22:08Lewis Bowden:You said this is crumbled. Yeah, 100%. Trent's such a bigger loss than I think people thought. Yeah, I agree Just that First of all, he's better defensively than fucking Bradley and Frimpong But It's just It's just the way That little like half space the right hand side he'd cover He's just like

22:25Reev:Do you think he also He also gave Kanata a lot more confidence 100 % Do you know what I mean? Like he was raising Kanata's game Probably vice versa but yeah

22:36Lewis Bowden:Kanata's brilliant at covering spaces He's got pace So he'd cover Trent but then maybe like one-on-one or, I don't know, actual tackling.

22:48Reev:Maybe that's not Canate's game. I don't know. But it also doesn't help that Canate's got Sabozlai, got Frimpong, got Braddy. There's no stability in the right there. Yeah, there's no solid connection with the person playing week in, week out. Even Van Dijk's now got to learn how to play with Kerkers. But Robertson's coming back in. He's just... Yeah, Kerkers is struggling. But I was going to say, you look at Liverpool's next three fixtures. You've got West Ham away, Sunderland at home, Leeds away. They have potential to pick up points, though. It's got to be three wins of the rule.

23:13Lewis Bowden:I also think... It has to be true. Even like you mentioned about Gakpo, Diaz is... Yeah, huge miss. The intensity of Diaz. Yeah, absolutely huge miss. When you've got a player like that, that not only lifts the players, it lifts the crowd, when you've got someone ratting around, whereas Gakpo and Salah aren't like that. Obviously, they just stand around and wait for the ball to come to them, whereas if you've got someone ratting around, getting stuck in, it lifts people when will he try the top top I don't think I don't think he will people don't do that in the modern game do they I think he will try is it not just more like of an injury like the thing with he's like again like the injury thing from him is looking more more apparent like the lack of running he's able to do at the moment is a bit like I don't know if you want to play them both that's a genuine that is genuine point I love that you don't know what you've checked his running stats

24:07Theo:bro's only clopped half the clock He doesn't run. He doesn't run.

24:10Lewis Bowden:Arnie Slott is now the second favourite to get sacked in the league. Yeah, he's under big pressure. Big, big pressure.

24:15Theo:Over Daniel Farquhar.

24:16Lewis Bowden:Yeah, he starts just short in big time. Daniel Farquhar, what's Frank? I've got 10 to 1 here. I'm going to have a little nibble on that. Just sign gear here, man. Eddie Howe's 10 to 1, by the way.

24:26Reev:Oh, same as Frank.

24:28Lewis Bowden:Makes sense.

24:30Reev:Liverpool, do they spend again in Jan? On defenders?

24:32Lewis Bowden:Liverpool, probably. Oh, maybe. It's just unlimited amount of money. I don't even think it's just... I think it's their fullbacks Their fullbacks are killing them But then it's weird Because Bradley was really good Against Real Madrid Yeah He was Kerkes is a massive issue Massive issue

24:50Theo:It's so weird Bert's not kicking on When everyone thought It was going to be Play of the season candidate Everyone just me Yeah Well everyone here It is Play of the season as well The eyes were bigger than the belly Is what you can see In the transfer window lads They're like kids Kids They're like kids To sign these players That obviously have a really good proven track record in different leagues, Ezek for this league example, coming to the club, just haven't hit the ground running. You can't... Yeah, but...

25:17Lewis Bowden:You can't account for lads not being able to play in front of that crowd. When I say eyes bigger than the belly, and again, this is not taking a dig at Ezek, but like objectively, they did need to sign a centre-back and it was very clear and they had Ekotike in and it was... I understand if Ezek's available, you want to go for him, but like, obviously hindsight now is like, fuck me. Long-term,

25:37Reev:Ezek is just going to be absolutely fine whereas you're right they still should have got a centre half long term but this is the thing the injury thing for him is a real thing long term he isn't going to get better he's going to have a shorter career if this injury thing is true about him which is brutal I don't hate him that much but like surely you can empathise

25:55Theo:as a person that's been through chronic injuries I just said I just said alright mate alright fucking hell a bit defensive

26:02Reev:moving on

26:03Theo:room three

26:05Reev:to Chelsea Chelsea. Yeah, I'm going to go Chelsea, mate. I won't talk about Chelsea if that's okay. Second, a lot of injuries just sort of going along, doing their business. Yeah, they're all right. A bit low-key. A bit low-key.

26:22Theo:Yeah, they've had a good few fixtures recently, which, I mean, they're picking up points.

26:25Lewis Bowden:I mean, the fact they're second in the league shows a much better Arsenal than everyone. Yeah.

26:31Reev:Are you not almost discrediting Chelsea with the amount of injuries they've had? World champions. They have 450 squad players. When they get the players back, is there a world in which they can be the ones that push? No one's going to push. You've won it. No, you actually have. You're too good. You've got too much depth. It's done. It is done.

26:51Lewis Bowden:It is done. It depends how Parma comes back, I suppose, but they're not good enough to win the league. But imagine they do. I'd fucking do anything but win the league. Imagine it's the second half of the season. Parmissan's cooking. They get closer and closer. It'll be interesting Next week will be interesting Really interesting Because if they If they can Let me just turn them over If they can go and beat you Next week Yeah I think you've shown them That's a massive Confidence and momentum Are big things in football If they can beat you Then get Parma back With all that momentum And confidence

27:22Reev:Both teams have huge Fixtures in the Champions League This week They've got Barca on Tuesday Arsenal have Bayern On Wednesday

27:29Theo:Which we're streaming So

27:31Reev:Do you think you're going to win that one? Do you think you're going to win that one? Against Bayern Is it that'll be a good statement win you know to show that you're going to win the Champions League like you said the double it's at the Emirates so yeah I definitely will win you got if it's at the Emirates Bayern I want to see you winning that I think you will as well

27:47Lewis Bowden:nah Bayern I'll turn them over I pulled a silly face when I said that if you're on audio

27:51Reev:who was the one that said Bayern are going to do awful in the Champions League I said they're going to win

27:55Lewis Bowden:I said they'll flop because I will I think they'll go out in like round of 16 but you think they'll still turn us over best team in the world oh that is Arsenal you're not the best team

28:02Theo:in the world his always perfect predictions for the upcoming weeks of Arsenal was already like totally muddied because he said Spurs would win I didn't he did remember we did a list of Arsenal fixtures and you were like I think we just went through and said you'd lose everything if I lost enough yeah he did he did spot put in oh be smart

28:17Reev:Chelsea just no Kaisledo he was rested wasn't he

28:21Lewis Bowden:was he rested or was he injured

28:23Reev:no he was rested I think for Barcelona

28:25Lewis Bowden:I mean yeah it's Burnley innit just relegate him get it done ta ta adios boring

28:34Reev:well there was another game over the weekend which someone was very happy about weren't they he's allowed to race kit again yeah I can actually come onto this podcast happy again glued to him but again we were at home in a big game so I'm not surprised under the lights at St. Jim's part you could beat anyone on your day literally can't no it was fucking good I mean the biggest improvement came from having actual fullbacks on the pitch and made us incompetent refs yeah we got away with a few yeah we got away with a few we're due some though but like Harvey Barnes I mean Lewis Hall on the left was fucking class City are due to be on the other end of it as well

29:10Theo:City could have scored about 20 goals we had more clear cut chances we had more clear cut chances than them do you think? yeah we did definitely we had Barnes in the first 20 seconds that's the City Volta Madder when it was whipped across by Murphy was at Unreal Cross Barnes, Sitter You can't name the same sitter twice No he had two sitters The first one The first 20 seconds

29:37Lewis Bowden:I know the first one And then the other one Where it came across goal It was open goal That's the one I'm on about No there was one in 20 seconds In the game Where we tackled him When he passed I can't remember that one And like he just shot Did he get blocked? No he just shot straight At Donnarumma He was in the box Clear shot and goal

29:51Reev:You actually had more big chances But they racked up more XG No that's wrong We had more XG No it's not Sky Sport had us with more XG No you literally didn't Sky Sports had a small Sky Sports had more with XG well your XG was 2.24 theirs was 2.29 I know I'm understanding that's foot mob I'm saying Sky Sports give us more XG why is Sky more reliable I'm not I'm just explaining that's why I said it and he keeps going no no they have an M was that within no I didn't say I didn't say the word you're wrong yes you did I said Sky Sports you literally just said you're wrong why is he so angry because you did you didn't say that you are wrong in the fact that you're saying Sky Sports didn't say that.

30:29Theo:It doesn't matter anyway, you won the game. So like, whether you had less or more XG, you fucking beat him. Yeah, we play a class like, but again... Why is Harvey Barnes not the man? He will be, I think. For England. You've got to start him and Lewis Holland and left with someone better. Would you have him over Rashford? No. No, I'm asking Theo. Well, there's your answer. You think he'll try it. Well, they're trying to take him to Scotland, aren't they? It's called him the Barnes. Yeah, they're trying... You've not seen the clip. It's so good. We've got to give him a cup. He's from fucking Leicester.

30:56you've got to give him a cap ace out like can't be fucking losing him to Scotland yeah I can't believe is he actually uncapped yeah he's uncapped it's pretty harsh he's playing the under 21s pretty sure he's playing midman but we've got Marseille away midweek and then Everton away so two hard games is this

31:10Theo:for that half the season loan this is turnaround for you guys I mean or is it just another big game that you get up from and then you lose all the small games it can be a turnaround but I think this week will show mate that Marseille away

31:21Reev:will be insane that's really hard that atmosphere is amazing that's how I'm going to have a massive bet on Marseille you're They're so bad away from home.

31:27Theo:Your entire belief system about Newcastle is like, we have no trouble getting up for the big games. These ones we win. That's why I think... When you go into play, fucking, I don't know, whoever in a couple of weeks. No, for me, if Everton away is next and I'm like, that'll show if we are going to turn it around. Like, I think we need to go there and win. We have to build momentum in the league now.

31:44Reev:You then got Spurs at home a few days later. That's another big game. A beat there. That's a game for us a whole. That's so easy. They're so low. No, I swear that we do them in every time. on the 30th of December. That's what I mean. That is a possible at home on the 6th of December. But that is a possible like four game streak there. Everton's the hard one. The Marseille away game, look, that's a hard one. I'd like to see a fucking good performance but I don't know what's going to happen there. Would you not like to see a good performance every game? Ideally, yeah. Ideally. But I think, I don't know, I'd like to think we're going to build some momentum now and I feel like Livermanto and Hall coming back are the big, I don't think people realise similar with Trent like how bad it was without them.

32:19Half your creativity comes from out wide. having the pace to get up and down the flanks. Now,

32:25Reev:moving on from Newcastle, if you don't mind, Lou, to somewhere a lot more south than Newcastle, Bournemouth. They seem to have just, just got a little bit, a little bit, a little bit, a little bit worse, haven't they? They just sort of, yeah, Antoine, they sort of just like, they sort of,

32:39Lewis Bowden:they are missing their best player. They've had a great, yeah, I know. And they did come back really well. They could have won the game, some of the chances they had in the second half. That ooh now, fuck me. I'm talking in general though,

32:47Reev:They've just dropped a lot of points recently, haven't they?

32:49Lewis Bowden:What was their last game?

32:50Reev:Top Spell, maybe? I can't remember their last game. Who was it? Before this. It was. Lost 4-0 to Villa. Lost 3-1 to City. And then they beat Forest 2-0.

33:02Lewis Bowden:Yeah, I mean, it's... I think they were punching above their weight anyway. Yeah, yeah. But, I mean, I thought they did well. Come back. Is Callum Wilson the best striker in the world? He's class, man. He's underrated still. That first goal was so bad From the goalie Yeah Second one was unbelievable Yeah the second one was class He's lost like a A bit of his pace now But his finishing's still He's got a fucking idea Yeah he's just He gets himself about He's a proper striker A dying breeze Fucking woke shit that was You what? He didn't celebrate He did? Didn't he? No he's like that Sorry Cherry's Been way too long

33:38Theo:Been at another club since that

33:40Reev:Sorry

33:41Lewis Bowden:Fuck off mate

33:42Theo:Didn't even come straight from there

33:43Reev:West Ham will stay up yeah Leeds Burnley Wolves to go down

33:48Lewis Bowden:I think so yeah looking that way pretty solid Wolves oh how do you feel about that

33:53Reev:fantastic he gets to play next season you'll get to be there next year get to be there god you'd feel

33:58Theo:you'd feel ill if you're a Wolves fan that's if we stay up I think he's been ill for the last three days yeah to be fair I don't know if that's

34:05Reev:what about the seagulls the mighty seagulls guys they're a bit lucky

34:10Lewis Bowden:weren't they yeah mate

34:11Reev:Thiago missing a pen

34:12Theo:in the night

34:12Lewis Bowden:the pen was so bad as well. But, fuck me. We've got to get well back in the English squad. That finish was fucking incredible.

34:25Lewis Bowden:Hey, do you know what? I might be coming around to your idea, honestly. Yeah, keep it coming. I think he might be the second best English striker at the minute. I'm not even joking. Makes you think, doesn't it? Get him on the plane. I think, yeah, I'm happy to say I might have been wrong about that. That guy. The goal, honestly, the goal, that's such a difficult finish. On your weak foot, in the rain as well, on the half volley. Under the lights on the south coast. Okay. Yeah. Piss your chips. It was a bit of free clock in the afternoon. Still under the light. The raucous atmosphere at the Amex.

35:01Lewis Bowden:Hurrah!

35:02Reev:Brighton and Brentford. It's a goal!

35:07Lewis Bowden:They're up to six, mate. Palace, Brighton. Have you seen the stat about Brighton in the Premier League? Go on. so it's obviously now it's more they have won 80 games drawn 80 and lost 80 81 game wins now now it's 81 wins must be smart very consistent does that not sun bright enough yeah very consistent like they're consistently inconsistent yeah but they're sick at the moment one place below

35:33Reev:the mighty crystal palace oh wow big derby yeah no new manager bouncer looks like I mean it's our it's hard who would have

35:43Theo:fought that way more as well how's Mateta missed that one too

35:46Lewis Bowden:fucking hell you got me in a team you need to get over it you need to get over that

35:50Reev:still zero points

35:51Lewis Bowden:yeah walls are fucking embarrassing this shit they might stare down if they get relegated they might be in league is it a good decision

35:57Theo:by Rob Edwards

36:00Lewis Bowden:yeah mate

36:01Theo:look at that

36:02Lewis Bowden:he trebled his way he's gone back over yeah probably I mean he's still a fucking Judas but it is what it is yeah I think

36:09Reev:imagining in the championship

36:10Lewis Bowden:first time since

36:11Theo:1983-84 campaign failed to win any of their first 12 games does that hurt you every letter you type in there I start just

36:23Lewis Bowden:I'm done with that do you know what he's disassociated how good how good is it how good is it going to be to call it the Wolves record now he said the Derby record oh that is so embarrassing how many do we know how many points Derby had 12 games into the no 12 games into the season They beat Newcastle 1-0. We were the only team they beat.

36:47Reev:Wolves have got minus 20 goal difference. If this carries on, they'll have over minus 60 goal difference. Fucking shit. How does that... I'm sorry, but how does that actually happen? They weren't that bad. You're not following them every game. And Aitnuri. Those two can't make this much difference.

37:07Lewis Bowden:You can't keep selling your best players every year and replacing them with slop. Yeah. They've got Agbadoo. Oh, he's been so bad. Strand Larsen doing fuck all. Yeah, but Strand Larsen, he's the type of striker who's going to do it on his own. He needs service. That Arias has been shit, hasn't he? He's missed as well. Yeah, mate. Oh my God, that was fucking embarrassing. I actually think they tried to send us down at this point. Even Gomez. Even Gomez. He fucking gave the ball away for second, didn't he? Yeah, they're just...

37:37Reev:But I thought Jao Gomez and Aguadour like world beaters

37:39Lewis Bowden:I think Jago Gomez is quality but it's hard when you're surrounded by shit isn't it

37:45Reev:that's a polished turn that's being polite as well to be fair Johnston and Dore I'm being polite

37:49Lewis Bowden:as well the next three home games Forest Brentford West Ham which on paper we're going to lose all three but yeah I can't see I can't see you winning a game oh it's so funny you reckon you'll go down

38:03Theo:with two points

38:04Lewis Bowden:genuinely mine no they'll pick up a draw here or there I don't think they will who do they draw against currently terrible win away at somebody yeah and you'll be like how the hell did we do that they'll I'll tell you and you got Villa next week yeah I win yeah but you got that Villa are good at the moment they've got a good record against Villa though

38:23Reev:oh it doesn't matter

38:23Lewis Bowden:Villa are good fucking on it

38:25Reev:I reckon you win next week at Villa no way there's no chance that happens

38:30Lewis Bowden:alright what would you do if they do if Wolves beat Villa away I will

38:35Reev:I will give me a grand I will do a three podcast with Wolves face paint on that's so annoying to wash off that is so annoying to wash off you're going to hate your life face paint like a wolf

38:53Theo:or wolves colours

38:54Reev:we'll alternate I'm telling you now there's zero chance it happens oh my god I'm so excited

39:03Theo:you've reverse manifested it really

39:05Lewis Bowden:I don't get anything No, you just shook my hands and you did it. You didn't really offer anything in reverse.

39:10Theo:It was a shit deal for you.

39:12Lewis Bowden:A bit of a silly bet, really. Now, let's put an additional bonus. No, that's fine. Contract extension. All on camera. Oh, because I don't want to cheer them on.

39:22Reev:You're supposed to say that. I mean, they switched me on to a team that I personally thought were going to get Champions League. They're down to seventh. Sunderland. You thought they were going to get Champions League? Oh, sorry. Two weeks ago. I thought they were going to get Champions League. They'll finish 13th. You never fail every year

39:37Lewis Bowden:for the team who start well like a lower mid-table team going, they're going to get Champions League. Let's go on the league.

39:44Theo:The Mexican contingency are fuming. We said this would happen. Absolutely livid, mate. It's draw, draw, loss. Now it's a little wobble. Then you've got a tricky game next year. Yeah, but one of the draws

39:54Lewis Bowden:was against Arsenal. Yeah, it's on paper. No, but you're saying Arsenal. No, what I'm saying is the game against Bournemouth is quite a... To win that is good. Builds momentum. back-to-back losses. Back-to-back losses. Back-to-back losses. I said, they are going to hit a little bit of a rough patch. This could be the beginnings of it or they could bounce back. They were a bit lacklustre and the goal they conceded I thought was poor defending. I thought, they worked it well, Fulham, but it was just, I felt like people were standing around.

40:25Reev:It's actually a big result for Fulham, you know, because they've got a bit. Yeah, they were slipping, weren't they? Yeah, but Fulham are Fulham,

40:31Lewis Bowden:aren't they? They're just, they're always going to pick up. Fulham's got an easy game next as well. I think that's the type of game you just for both teams kind of write off and go yeah Fulham can just beat Sunderland at home. Do you know what I mean? I think that's just I don't mean that's obviously it's a good win for Fulham but I don't think Sunderland will be worried about that. Nah no chance. That's not where Sunderland need to pick up points it's at home which they've been doing.

40:51Reev:Another team that picked up points scored a pretty god damn good free kick didn't he Morgan Rodgers?

40:57Lewis Bowden:No he didn't actually. What the fuck's the goalie doing? It was knuckleball. Oh the technique He's right in the middle of the goal? Yeah but I mean though no it's just like a dipper wasn't it

41:05Theo:Kevin De Bruyne dipper

41:07Lewis Bowden:get up see if you can find the behind the goal angle of the Rodgers goal

41:13Reev:but you didn't expect the dipper

41:14Lewis Bowden:Theo it's in the middle of the goal

41:16Theo:I don't even think Joe Rowland jumps high enough either I feel like he just was Chris MD's goal

41:19Reev:good at Simon Match no he was against XQC or Sue Web as a goal middle of the goal hey

41:26Theo:go on let's see this I can't remember confusing but special free kick we forgot Will doesn't know how to use a computer

41:32Reev:He's done alright there He's got a balsan cheese mate Yeah I think

41:38Lewis Bowden:Leeds aren't happy are they Those boos at the end

41:41Reev:But Daniel Fark's too nice to get fired

41:43Lewis Bowden:No he's not Oh it's Daniel Fark Here we go The behind the goal is the best angle He couldn't see could he No it's a shift I'm saying he should do better Look how in the middle that is He doesn't anticipate it Jesus, what the fuck's he doing? Exactly! What do you mean he didn't anticipate? He's a goalie standing watching a free kick. The ball's going to come from the ball. What else is he fucking expecting? It was a confusing free kick. He was bamboozled. Normally the refs tell you off for doing a separate wall that close. It's so in the middle.

42:18Theo:That's the first free kick he's ever taken in the Prem as well. And I told you he's better than Bellingham. 100 % success rate. He's not better than Bellingham. Did you see his little bit in the...

42:27Lewis Bowden:When he gets it in the middle of the pitch, like beats two, Meg's another one and plays it through it's fucking so good

42:32Reev:do you know

42:36Lewis Bowden:look on all I'm saying is you want to talk about baseball kicks go on what McTominay he's 40 we'll get on to him but Morgan Rodgers Albion born and bred now he's England's best player Morgan Rodgers is England's best player better than Harry Kane he's up there with Elliot Anderson 100 % he's the best player in the world

42:54Theo:I said it wouldn't start Bellingham it's good that there's a larger pool of talent playing really he's better than he is

43:00Lewis Bowden:Villa and him have turned it around

43:01Reev:It's just classic Unai He just does it again They were shocking They couldn't score a goal They literally couldn't score a football goal A rugby goal The personal goals in life Football match He sounds smart He sounds smart if you say a game of football You actually know what sounded smart Arsenal Football Club They dominated Tottenham Hotspurs

43:27Lewis Bowden:So do you think they should Give Fark time? No. Oh, right. So he doesn't deserve time, but others do. Yeah. Why? Because Daniel Fark's been at the club for longer. How long? And he's shit. Oh, you mean he's had the time? Yeah, he's had the time. It's a very different situation. He's done his time. Why? Because he was successful for them last year. He won the league. Yeah, but he's not been successful now in the Premier League. Oh, I'll tell you what.

43:51Reev:They are slipping. I'll tell you what, lads. It's not a brand new club for them. I'll just check their next three fixtures. Yeah. Oh, my God. They've got City away. City away. followed by Chelsea at home Liverpool at home so they got three points out of that three points against Liverpool yeah that is grim if you're a league they're not at fucking they're actually fucking get Anjan on New Year's Day they face Liverpool away and then two three days later they got United at home and then they go Newcastle away nah they gotta get Anjan like and then he can get sacked again and go to Burnley later on in January they face Liverpool Monday night at Newcastle and Arsenal

44:24Theo:I mean yeah we're at home as well because they have good fixtures yeah Leeds

44:28Lewis Bowden:out of the 20th Premier League club.

44:29Theo:Well, you've got to play bad fixtures if you've had bad fixtures.

44:31Lewis Bowden:It's a hard league, isn't it? They're too lackluster going forward, man. Far too lackluster.

44:36Theo:Yeah, DCL is such a hard watch, you know, because you kind of want him to do well because of how much he tries. He's always in the position. You're like, mate, if he could... God loves to try, but dude, he fucks himself every time.

44:47Lewis Bowden:If he could finish, he'd be one of the best players in the world. I don't know if you're joking. That would be genuinely true. He might come good. Hey, if he actually comes good, though, he'll save them. He'll save them if he comes good. No, this is actually just... No, but one day he wakes up like a Christmas carol and he spins business by... Why do you keep bringing that film off?

45:06Theo:He went to a fucking live show where he did sit down real and they did the entire play. He's visited by three ghosts. Goals missed, goals present, goals future. I'll give you a link if you want. He gets visited by three ghosts. The goals of chances missed, chances present, and chances future. I'm short, mate.

45:25Lewis Bowden:Man United, Everton preview. What do you think? I've got no clue.

45:30Reev:I've actually got no clue.

45:31Lewis Bowden:Everton are bad away from home, so I think it'll be United. Can't you just see Everton get a result,

45:36Reev:Old Trafford? No. 2-0, blue versus red.

45:38Lewis Bowden:No. I could see a draw, not an Everton win, but I might be wrong. Hopefully I'm wrong. I think I said 2-2 for this.

45:44Reev:How did Amaran get manager months beyond me? We won't talk about that. We just did. Yeah. Who should have got it? Arteta. Oh, cringe. Did he concede a goal in October?

45:54Lewis Bowden:Bought the league. Is that true?

45:56Reev:Yeah.

45:56Lewis Bowden:When did you play Sunderland? In November. Are you sure about that? Yeah. What's the date? Oh, yeah, it's the 20th. Oh, shit. I thought it was like the 11th of November.

46:06Reev:Mate, he won every game and didn't consider going Amarou one manager of the month.

46:10Lewis Bowden:Oh. I feel like he's done a ball of impressive job, hasn't he? Yeah. Oh, shit. Yeah, Jesus. Even in the cup.

46:17Reev:Fucking mad, isn't it? That's pretty horny, man. Yeah, isn't it?

46:21Lewis Bowden:Anyway.

46:22Reev:Yeah, you know, I'm looking forward to watching that game. actually there's something about like do you reckon Everton will wear all blue shorts as well they do don't they and then United wear like black shorts

46:33Lewis Bowden:United won't wear black shorts if they're wearing blue

46:35Reev:no I know but like there's something about that kick clash just looks good on TV what red versus blue yeah I love it good versus evil which is the Star Wars isn't it Matrix isn't it oh yeah true yeah we could be green as well yeah green could work there's not any teams who wear green Plymouth in the Prem it's a very

46:53Lewis Bowden:underrepresented colour Werder Bremen

46:55Reev:Arsenal away a few years ago

46:57Lewis Bowden:Or third Albion playing green and yellow Away kit Yeah

47:00Reev:United had a green kit once

47:02Lewis Bowden:We have a green away kit Fulham had a fluorescent green

47:06Reev:City had a fluorescent green as well Not as a horn kit though Don't City have a fluorescent green this year

47:10Lewis Bowden:It's like They're like silver and Yeah it's weird It's so hard

47:14Reev:There are quite a few teams actually Anyway that's the end of the Premier League review guys Alright well Last night Not only was it the North London derby North London derby Did you watch the Milan derby? Yeah, I did. Did you see the light show at the start? It was a class 3-3. Light show for both, actually, really, wasn't it? It was a light show for both. And also... The light show was class-like. By the way, can we just admit, the Tifa was pretty cool, to be honest.

47:35Lewis Bowden:No, you're actually a really cool club. Thank you. Finally.

47:40Reev:Finally, he admits it. I love...

47:41Lewis Bowden:I think it's really cool that you have to create... Is it fan-funded? I club-funded that.

47:45Reev:Actually, I think it was added as funded. I think it's really cool that you have to try

47:50Lewis Bowden:and force an atmosphere for a Northern London derby. I think it's actually really cool. Got a bit of team picks up the game.

47:56Reev:Anyways, looking at all these derbies around the world, we sort of got us thinking, didn't we? What are the best derbies in the world? I was thinking that. I've not stopped thinking about it. And there are a lot of derbies that actually we don't really know anything about, but they're pretty massive. I know. Yeah, yeah. Speak for yourself, mate. Mate, I have researched football. Yeah, so do I. Hey, shout out researching. Oh, class. You've had my fucking pants down there. Mogged. Oh, you just are. You've made me feel ill. Oh, that was class. So we're going to do our top 10 derbies in the world.

48:25Reev:Now, Tom, I'm guessing... He's got the right answer. You have the right answer. No, I mean, this is... This could be a new list. I think we all... I would like to say, I've done my list. Probably. Of personal beliefs. Yeah, personal and semi-objective. And also what I like in a derby.

48:38Lewis Bowden:No, I'm not objective at all. You've got West Brom at the top. No, I'm not objective. I've just gone with my perk. Because everyone... How can you do it objectively? A derby's a passion.

48:46Theo:Yes, semi-objectively. because you know even if you don't necessarily watch the biggest ones you know I'm going to be honest

48:51Reev:Reeve I've got a derby in the top three which I've watched I've never watched it but I've watched videos on it about it yeah what are you doing

49:02Lewis Bowden:bro it's very obvious but that's what I'm referencing did you think you were like being edgy that's not niche have you watched

49:08Reev:Ellis' video on it no Ellis Platton away days but obviously

49:12Theo:a derby's fucking big if it's thousands of miles away and everyone still talks about it yeah that's a great point there And you know what, Reeve? You know that?

49:18Reev:Did you change any list? No, I was just deleting this thing because it said 11, but it's because I had a spare place. Oh, your five one is hilarious. Oh, no, I showed you my thing. I can't wait for you to tell me all about that derby, by the way. I know about my derbies. I read derbies of passion. It doesn't have to be the two best teams. It's like proper passion, a bit of anger, a bit of fucking riffraff on the pitch. Not like last night where it was like, oh, I'll help you up. I'll help you up. It's like, fuck off. I'm going to come in at number 10 here. I've actually done this on the, apart from like one I've watched a lot of these and it's quite cool I've got Liverpool Everton in 10 Murderside Murderside Derby I think it's just

49:56Lewis Bowden:I don't really like that Derby

49:57Reev:only because he's so uncompensated here I agree there was always just like big channels like you know Jesus he's like crying he's really upset oh my god what's going on mate do you remember when Rainer put it in his own net do you remember that

50:13Lewis Bowden:no

50:14Theo:not when he picked it up and threw it behind him and it was 1-0. It's a good one, but it's just not competitive enough. No, I like it. No, but you know the result. You know the result.

50:22Reev:Not this season, maybe. And also like... Everton are better than Liverpool this season. They lost to them the other week. No, but later on in the season. Oh, right, okay, yeah.

50:30Theo:Yeah, there's been a couple good moments. I was just biased because I just see more UK derbies. It's not, mate, it's not a bad derby at all, but... There's just so many good derbies when you say we're doing the biggest ones in the world. Yeah, I know. It's like... I've got City United at nine. Most of mine are England. Man, City United,

50:46Reev:I like City United. Have you seen it? It's always high scoring.

50:49Lewis Bowden:I dare.

50:50Reev:It's always high scoring.

50:51Lewis Bowden:I have done a lot of mine as well on what I'd want to watch

50:53Reev:or what I do watch. It's always high. It's always like 5-1, 7-0. I like the Manchester derby. Seriously? No, I'm just saying people from around the world that are international viewers are going to fucking hate this. Not really. City United, too big.

51:05Lewis Bowden:They can just suck my bollocks. Yeah, no, no.

51:08Reev:I got them covered up. In number eight, I got the North London derby, mate. Yeah. You've put your own derby, have you? After what we've seen yesterday. After what I saw yesterday. Oh my God, Theo, come on. Trying to be unbiased here.

51:19Theo:Yeah, I agree, I agree. And I do think... No, I... I'm trying to be unbiased. But even you still... No, no, no, no. Because you're like, we're so far above these. Yeah, but over time... No, Tom thinks it should be higher. You think it should be lower. No, I think it's shit. I love the North London Army. I think it's true. It's not shit. Previously, I think it should be higher. But recently... But I will... It's rubbish. Isn't it like fucking... It's usually the best game in the time.

51:40Reev:In terms of football... I said usually... Do you know why I haven't, Tom? for you. Because in terms of football, it's always a quality game to watch. There's always goals, always entertaining. But there isn't that anger, hatred. There's no like, that's what I want. You're all a bit soft. I want hatred. That's why it's not higher. I feel like there's

51:59Lewis Bowden:more viciousness between like Chelsea and Spurs and Spurs and West Ham than it is with Arsenal. That's why I haven't

52:03Reev:put it higher. Because you're too busy

52:04Lewis Bowden:making Tifos. And tea.

52:07Reev:I'm making red fire. That was so cool. You made it red. In seven, we got four. Dragon fire. Fenerbahce versus Galatasaray yeah you like that one don't you corker absolute corker I actually

52:21Theo:I've got a little story go on that's the reason why I put it in mine as well is when I went to a kebab shop when I was very young careful no no no it's true I was made to pick a team between Fenerbahce and Galatasaray how old were you how old were you oh mate like 14 no no like 7 or 8 I was with my dad you were 6 or 7 oh fuck you know I picked Galatasaray but that was just a little So have you been there for a while? No, no, but if I ever Who's your favourite Galatasaray player ever? Ever? Osserman

52:49Reev:Oh, come on Osserman Say Osserman Edit, check out Say Osserman Say Osserman Podolski Ah, very nice Do you know where Podolski's playing right now? Yeah Where? With them With them United He's our player called Progon in the Polish First Division I discovered yesterday on Footy Manager Do you know where Andy Carroll's at right now? That's where all of his info is from. He's in Dagnan Redbridge. Yeah, that's all right there. All right, carry on your list.

53:18Lewis Bowden:Why is your list always 20 minutes?

53:20Reev:Also, you're going to get all the Turkish fans fucking love when you talk about Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. Pardon? Who? Galatasaray.

53:30Theo:But you know, it's across two continents, though. You better make this a clip, because honestly,

53:35Reev:we're going to get flared.

53:36Lewis Bowden:We're also going to get fucking loads of abuse from Fenerbahce fans. No, that's what you want.

53:42Reev:That's actually true. Anyways, in six, I got the Milan derby into AC. Fucking beast mode. In five, I wanted to put a different one, but then I read more up about it. No, because I got to experience it. Okay. I put Le Classique, which is Marseille PSG, but I got to experience Le Mediterranean derby, which is... Nice Marseille. Nice Marseille. Yeah, yeah.

54:06Theo:But anything with Marseille is just a bit aggressive, isn't it?

54:08Reev:Yeah, it was fucking unreal. I felt scared You felt scared? I felt scared So what you're saying is you went through

54:14Theo:a specific derby and then put in a different derby It's bigger

54:17Reev:PSG Marseille's bigger

54:18Theo:It is bigger It's more beast mode as well So what was the point of bringing up

54:22Reev:Nice and Marseille? Don't ask how he's going on another thing now Marseille's derby against their lesser derby So then you should have put it in? Imagine what their even bigger derby would be like

54:30Lewis Bowden:I would probably I mean I don't know the ins and outs I would probably say the Nice one's probably bigger to them No no no

54:36Reev:The Classique is way bigger Way bigger How close is Marseille to Paris? No, it's not about that. It's about their two most successful clubs. Fair enough. That doesn't work. A bit of a reach. Number four. I know it happens like 20 times a season, but the old firm, it's just always good. Number three, I've got United Liverpool. Fucking love a United Liverpool game, mate. I love it. Number two, I've obviously got the Super Classico. Which is what? River Plate versus Bocca. Good lads. Do you know why they have, I know they're both from Buenos Aires, but do you know why there is a rivalry? Oh no, I don't.

55:11Reev:Is it a religious one? Nope.

55:13Theo:Oh, is it working versus upper? You asked the question and he answered it.

55:18Reev:I was thinking you all said no. He's on the panel. It's just a face. It's to do with class. It's to do with class.

55:23Lewis Bowden:My mic was off as well so I'll let you have it. Well, that is one.

55:25Reev:Mike was asking. So Bocca Juniors represent more of the working class. That's also similar

55:30Lewis Bowden:to the Milan Derby, isn't it? Yeah.

55:31Reev:So when River Plate recommend more, not recommend, represent more of the upper middle class. So you're all like River Plate. Yeah.

55:43Reev:I'm a Raquel May fan You told me at home You have like those cheese melters

55:49Theo:By the way When you went to Gaucho I took him to a Christmas market

55:59Reev:And showed him a raclette And he was like what's that man Yeah because I'm fucking Bocca Juniors

56:03Lewis Bowden:A raclette is pretty posh You know what it is though Meltered cheese. You know what it is? I don't think I do. I've never heard of it ever.

56:12Reev:And he thinks I have it at home. I wouldn't call it a reclite machine. I know you have it at home. Who owns a reclite machine? You said your parents own one. No, I said I've had it before. Don't you have it? You have a yearly piella meet-off with your family. That is true.

56:25Lewis Bowden:It's the most Tory thing ever. No, it's not. It so is, mate. It is, mate. We didn't even have paprika in our house. It's a Spanish national dish, mate. Yeah, but you're English. So that's just pretentious? It's a Spanish family.

56:37Theo:Yeah, yeah. No, keep doing it! You eat it on your river plate. The bakers. The bakers. The bakers. Yeah, of course.

56:44Lewis Bowden:Why do I lie about that? Stop trying to claim to be working class.

56:48Reev:He's trying to say I don't have Spanish family.

56:50Lewis Bowden:I don't think you do. How much do you bet? By the way, how much Spanish? I'll put my entire life savings on it. I'm not that confident, but I just don't think you do. You used to go on camping trips in the French Alps and that. In the Da Doin. Camping trip in the Alps? What did you say? When we went to France together. the fucking sausage you used to go camping there we went we went to Kukubi what sorry it's in Wales nice mate yeah let them know your roots yeah you're such a miner yeah yeah

57:19Reev:okay number one I've got a classical yep cool I think it's just fucking hell well it's unreal isn't it that's the wrong answer all those don't worry I've got the right answers right here boys and I'm a more travelled man these days at ten I've got peck versus spam oh good there ten though I've got Millwall versus West Ham Great Street Mill

57:41Lewis Bowden:The only problem with that is they just never play each other Yeah But when you do

57:44Reev:And also in the world Yeah but that's

57:47Theo:We were raised on those films mate That's like We were raised on them streets Millwall You actually are on those streets Trust me As a Millwall manager I know what I mean Your postcode is Ninth I've got Marseille versus PSG Oh you've been there have you?

58:02Lewis Bowden:Yeah Know all about it I'll be honest I didn't realise that was a mate it's the biggest army of France big one big one it's huge 8th just because it happens way too often Celtic Rangers look it's it loses it's magic do you not think if they're playing that frequently and it's still that aggressive loses the magic because you have you barely have time to have your bragging rights before you play them again it needs to be I agree with you if I only play Sunderland twice a year I know I have to wait and stew on 7, 6 months of getting abused until we have a chance to make a goal. And even then, if we lose again, then we have to wait even longer.

58:40Yeah, but do you not,

58:41Theo:the point of it being there's still so much animosity between so two sides and they still play five times a year. You've never been. You've never experienced it. You're not even allowed to go to the pub in the morning. You never even watched it. If these two, if these two only played each other twice a year, do you think it would be more intense when they did play each other? 100%. Yeah, no, probably, but it's still got the animosity there. For me, no, for me, that ruins the derbies.

59:02Reev:When was the last time you watched it? I don't know. If it's on telly, I'll watch it. I won't go out of my way to watch it. Why are you acting like you're the biggest fan of Scottish football? I'm a fucking Rangers legend. What was Rangers' score this weekend? 2-0. Who against? Hibs. Let's search. I don't even know if it's not Hibs. I think they did win. Because if you're such an avid fan... Oh my God, you in the space bar.

59:28Lewis Bowden:Fucking hell. Rangers. They beat Livingston 2-1. Isn't that a derby for them? By the way, isn't that a derby for them?

59:38Reev:Where is that? There it is!

59:40Lewis Bowden:Livingston.

59:41Reev:Oh, is that Edinburgh? No, yeah, yeah. Yeah, up to Livingston. Nah, look, it is a good game, but I just, I don't like derbies who play each other too often. They're only on eight points. Seventh, Man United versus Liverpool. You're not close. No reaction. I was expecting to be showered at, actually, so I'm fine. What do you mean? One of the biggest games in the world. I understand. but I deduct them points because they're not that close together in terms of like Man United and City should be more close they're level on points they're level on points look I do like it I do like it

1:00:11Lewis Bowden:what you mean distance they're really close they're about the same distance that you are to Sunderland no but in terms of like their closest rivals then it's not each other is it yes it is no because there's teams within the city I think who you are Liverpool United I think is bigger than

1:00:24Reev:the Manchester derby I think it depends who you ask yeah it is bigger I think it is I haven't got those in so I don't get what you're saying

1:00:31Lewis Bowden:he's saying no his point makes sense he's saying that no he's not just the distance he's saying that they're not each other's closest rivals so like you could argue Liverpool's biggest derby is Everton and United's his city the reason their derby the reason their derby's so good because they're more matched on it's because they're more matched on abilities why their derby is better and historical glory yeah yeah Liverpool I'd argue Liverpool-United is a rivalry not a derby you'll see my point in the theatre but then you can say but I'm still showing it I'm still showing it's respect. I'm still showing it's respect.

1:01:05Was that an El Clasico, to be honest?

1:01:06Theo:El Clasico, yeah. Fuck it, they're all Derbys. Sixth, Newcastle versus Sunderland. Thank you very much. Actual nastiness, I like that. You've put your own Derby sick. I'm trying to be unbiased as well. That's everyone's response. I'm trying to be unbiased. No, nastiness there. And also we all still... I can't wait for number five. I'm nervous for that one. Fifth, big one this, Dortmund versus Schalke. Why, why, why? I actually do have that, but I've more of an affinity to that than you do.

1:01:31Reev:Oh, so I went to 11 a week. Did you know about that derby until yesterday? Did you know about it until yesterday? I knew about the Schalke derby before yesterday.

1:01:42Theo:I did four seasons of Royce the Glory, of course. By the way, excuse me, you played a little FIFA

1:01:47Lewis Bowden:at the computer game. What was that got to do knowing about the derby? You played FIFA. By the way, you saw it on the list yesterday.

1:01:52Theo:We needed your research. I promise you now, I knew way before. Okay, I love this. Raise your hand. What do you mean? Why the derby?

1:01:59Reev:Why is anything a derby? No, no. I explained my Boca River Plate to a derby. Why is this a derby? It's geographically. You research that randomly. Just geographically? Yeah, it's a river derby. They've got to be next to each other, surely. There is another reason why. Raise your hand if you lived 40 minutes down the road from Dortmund. Oh! Thank you very much. It's me. Wait, you explain to me. Why is it a derby? Just because you've researched the thing out of fact. Pioneer a dog. No one here believes you just have that information on your dog at all. I don't know. I'm asking why. They're close to each other.

1:02:33I've been to both places.

1:02:34Reev:I've been to Dortmund. I've been to Schalke. I've been amongst the fans.

1:02:36Theo:You said, I said geographically, which makes sense. And then you said why. It's more to do with the... Schalke's not a place, is it? Wait a minute. Can you do your symbol for mining again? That's how they mined. Going down the mine.

1:02:48Lewis Bowden:But he's working class. You have a pickaxe. He's working class. He's used a pickaxe like a shovel. And seven dwarves. It's more like this. you say Schalke's not a place is it? Schalke? you pass it on the motorway I'm pretty sure you see the stadium I've been to the I've been to the stadium you pass it on Verdon Bremen's as well on the motorway they're all by the motorway no I know but I'm saying is Schalke a place? probably it's like it's like called Schalke it's a genuine question I don't actually know

1:03:14Reev:no it's

1:03:15Lewis Bowden:Gelsenkirchen isn't it? yes yeah so as an actual local here I know a lot about that derby and it is fierce But they don't Yeah they were in Yeah see It's to do with mining I fucking knew it Yeah we understand You googled it yesterday

1:03:33Reev:Yeah at least I did research Yeah well done mate Did you include them in your list? No Because I didn't know anything about it Whereas I've heard All the other ones Well you don't know You haven't heard about Dortmund Schalke Yeah that's That's negative And you're trying to come at us That's negative Jesus I'm open At least I'd admit it You just lied to yourself I lived there Nah he has I literally live there St.

1:03:53Lewis Bowden:Louis has a very good pace for that.

1:03:55Reev:What's the biggest derby in Afghanistan where you also lose?

1:03:57Lewis Bowden:It's very funny that you've put them above your own derby. I'm not going to lie, but I don't really know too much about Tartman Schalke. I just saw pictures and that. I was like, this will make me sound well-traveled. You saw it on 4-4-2, mate. I've been searching on 4-4-2. Have you been searching 4-4-2? Yes. Oh, my God. Man does research. Man does job. Why do you need research to do your top ten derbies?

1:04:20Reev:I wanted to learn about Boca and River Plate and all that. I wanted to know about it. Why were there derbies?

1:04:25Lewis Bowden:Right. They're both in Buenos Aires.

1:04:27Theo:Pretty easy.

1:04:27Reev:There's always more to it though, isn't there?

1:04:30Theo:The point still stands. You know how big it is because we always mention it anyway. Dortmund Schalke? No. Boca River Plate.

1:04:37Reev:Yeah, but I wanted to learn about it and watch the videos on it. Both. You didn't watch it. Both to get extra points because there's like... I feel like when you have derbies in other countries, the laws are a bit more relaxed so they get a bit more crazy more. So Galatasaray, Fenebacay. Fenebacay.

1:04:51Theo:Aye. and I've realised I made a doo-doo here but I'm going to stand by it number three I don't know why he did this but we'll stand by it you've heard about AC Milan Inter Milan no no no that's not the big boy AC Milan and Roma number three they both have way bigger derbies that is so bad that's so bad yeah I know

1:05:13Reev:that's not a derby why did you pick those why is that I don't remember why that's when in there have you read Inter AC and Roma Lazio and just combined them I don't know what I've done I don't know what I've done but I've just looked at it and it says them there so that's what I've done yeah big derby big derby two big teams don't look at me like that surely the bigger if you had to pick two that would be Juventus AC Milan

1:05:34Lewis Bowden:oh yeah why can't we just get through a list of yours where you mean everything you say and you don't go oh fuck I don't know what I've got I did well everywhere else though

1:05:44Reev:is AC Milan Roma a derby no

1:05:47Lewis Bowden:yeah of course it is it's a historical derby type in AC Milan It's not even a rivalry. It's not even a rivalry. It's nothing. They just play each other. That is incorrect. It's a big, big... It's not. Tickets. We're not trying to buy tickets, mate. Roma don't win anything. What are you doing? Oh my God, Will. What's this search achieving? Type in rivalry or something.

1:06:08Reev:Just type in AC Milan Roma rivalry. You're just getting us the results. Bro's never used Google. Fucking hell. There we are. Huge one. Oh, Stuart Fascism. One of the biggest rivalries in Italy. Yous don't know football. It doesn't say that. Wait, what? It's fucking... It goes back to 1920s with fascist leaders and that. Wait, scroll. I've still not seen AC Milan versus Milan. I haven't seen Milan versus Roma. Not seen it. Other rivalries on the left. Other rivalries on the left.

1:06:35Lewis Bowden:It was there. No. No, it's literally not on the list, mate. It's further up. Major intercity. You know, it's different cities, maybe. You're an idiot. Huge, huge rivalry.

1:06:44Reev:Anyways. Arsenal versus Wolves. Third biggest derby in the world. AC Milan-Rome.

1:06:50Lewis Bowden:No, he would be lying. I don't know Arsenal versus Everton Genuinely They've been playing for ages Guys look Sometimes I'll hold my hands up And say whoopsie daisy And that's one of these times Second Boca Juniors Versus River Plate And then the final one El Clasico Nice mate Well done buddy Thank you Mine are fucking boring then You lot have gone all my international Yeah I know what yours Will be like backcountry stuff right I'll read it in a minute

1:07:20Theo:11th, narrowly missing out of Derby County What? You've been waiting so long Yeah, that was a joke I've been sitting on for a long while 10th, I have been to Lisbon So I know this is a Sporting Benfica That's the only one that I'm going to try and be like

1:07:39Reev:Have you been to Lisbon or have you been to Lisbon? No, no, I've been to Lisbon

1:07:42Theo:You've just been to the Yeah, yeah, yeah Nice I thought you put them in. Nice.

1:07:49Lewis Bowden:I've been to Portugal as well. I've been to Lisbon as well.

1:07:52Theo:We've been to the Algarve.

1:07:55Reev:I've been to Budapest as well. Is that relevant? No. That's my point. Oh, okay. I've actually been to it. I thought you just started listing people there since you've been.

1:08:05Theo:Ninth, we've got Green Street, Western Millwall. Eighth, Northland and Derby. The GSA. It's the most personal Derby to me. You've got New York City versus New York Red Bulls on there as well. I can't believe you've put your own derbies that low. Well, in previous years, it would have been better, but the discrepancy is too big now. Why? It doesn't matter? It doesn't matter. Well, I get it. You're from Leicester, so it doesn't mean as much. Seventh, Finovacic, Galatasaray. Sixth, I said it earlier, Dortmund Schalke. That's the voice of glory right there. Shout out to everyone that still watches them and replay.

1:08:35Theo:Still haven't even no clue into it, isn't it? Fifth Man United, Liverpool. Yeah, I promise you I did, mate. I did. I've known about it. All right. Alright 5th Man United Liverpool 4th The Milan derby With the picture of Matarazzi Rui Costa Shit that Milan Roma Okay 3rd Old Firm 2 Boca Juniors River Plate And then 1 Classico I feel passionately Against this Old Firm thing Why? Yeah they're not in my list How many times They play each other Really think it matters

1:09:05Lewis Bowden:That's how quick

1:09:05Theo:You should do a list

1:09:06Lewis Bowden:I'll read it out Do you want to just Keep asking me And I'll say yeah yeah And then there's no point Doing the list Let's definitely not do that. Let's definitely not do that. Yeah, let's just come defeat the object of doing it. Stephen, New Haven's pretty big. Right, 10th, I've gone Boca River 10th. 9th, the Milan Derby. I just don't watch them. I'm not going to pretend like... No, but you know about them. Yeah, they were on yesterday, but I'd rather watch the Sheffield Derby. Do you know what I mean? 8th, I've gone North London Derby. I think it's one of the best to watch, but I hate how little hatred there is.

1:09:39Lewis Bowden:It's fucking embarrassing. 7th I've gone in the Manchester derby 7th Steel City 5th the time we are 8th North London 7th Manchester 6th Steel City 5th Newcastle Sunderland I can't believe you had them what 7th I'll try to be unbiased and well travelled I have also the biggest rivalry in England Fair enough 4th West Ham Millwall just don't play each other enough but I think it's probably the most fair Mill! Birmingham Derby. Second out of Classico and then first, obviously for me, is Black Country Derby. How many did everyone get right?

1:10:17Reev:I didn't have Black Country in at all, mate. What is more like, you know West Brom Wolves? Which is more aggressive? West Brom Wolves or Villa Birmingham? It's pretty even. Who has the hardest fan base, like?

1:10:28Lewis Bowden:Probably Wolves and Blues. What, you not hard? No. Wolves and Birmingham

1:10:33Reev:had really big firms back in the day. Yeah. What about like West Brom Villa?

1:10:38Lewis Bowden:That's big as well. there's a lot there's a lot of Albion fans maybe not Villa there's a lot of Albion fans who hate Villa more it depends where you're from we've seen the rough side of your fans when we went to the game they all had the scarves and that oh the Burberry scarves what about like

1:10:55Reev:London Middlesbrough Middlesbrough is like that's way more friendly but going both ways I feel like London Middlesbrough

1:11:02Lewis Bowden:is a bit that might be similar-ish to Villa Albion it's like there's a lot of my dad's mates who are from like the side of my dad's age if they're from like great bar or like the birmingham side they hate villa more than walls but i got i grew up where i grew up all my mates are wolves and like i guess it also depends on your own when you grow up as well and also my dad's age growing up never played walls because walls were in the bottom division we were in the top division whereas me growing up we played walls every year to me it's and all your mates are walls fans as well Of course, because I'm from that area.

1:11:36Lewis Bowden:Whereas if you're from like, because technically the Hawthorns, he's a Birmingham postcode. It's technically in Birmingham. So, but yeah, it's, and Villa fans hate Albion as well. But then again, Villa and Wolves, when they've been playing each other loads the last few years, that's become a bit more tasty. The same way it's saying with us and Blues now, it's become a little bit more, but we still don't really care that much. It's Albion Wolves and Blues Villa. Palace Brighton. Borough are just trying to get involved with ours but they're not really involved do they have a direct? nah because that's Borough don't really have the way I feel like you don't have enough hatred for these two you want to win maybe Borough how far is Hull from Borough?

1:12:12Lewis Bowden:they've got no no no we are their closest darlies and then like they have one with Leeds don't they? yeah they'll have a good one with Leeds I think Borough fans would say Sunderland though yeah Borough hates Sunderland more than they hate Newcastle I'm pretty sure what about Luton Watford? yeah that's a big one for them big one yeah

1:12:30Theo:but it's like don't you just love darlies mate? just Derby

1:12:33Lewis Bowden:Pompey Saints yeah that's a big one mate they're all they're all big they're all big to the fans it's all relative it's all the Bristol Derby's they don't play each other like yeah and yeah I kind of tried to did mine on if these were all playing tomorrow who would I want to watch

1:12:50Theo:yeah send in order yeah well that's the top 10 guys let us know what you think and your top 10 as well right now guys we're going to do our Premier League Big 6 combined 11 but stipulations are only maximum He didn't say that on the team.

1:13:03Reev:Oh, he can't take it. Oh, he can't take it. He can't take it. Bloke's going to have four players. Reeve goes first.

1:13:12Theo:Oh, yeah. The problem is I actually asked in chat if it was going to be two players. I didn't see that.

1:13:18Lewis Bowden:In my defense, it does just say big six combined 11. That's it. Yeah, that's it. Yeah, I'm not going to lie. I did say that this morning and then I saw you on Metrasour. That's not me. I was like, what's that though, isn't it? You've got to always keep your head on a swivel.

1:13:30Theo:Right Reid You go first Hit us off dad Absolutely man I'll kick it off Did you call him dad? You're just dad yeah Not daddy dad No that's reserved for Dodie

1:13:38Lewis Bowden:I might try and change it I know Yeah we can let him Give me a sec Give me a sec Right and go on I've got Don Romer Yeah By the way He's fucking class Every time I watch him He's getting No but like He's so No he is Clear of everyone Yeah I agree He is clear of everyone He's such a big Fucking twat No he He is better than everyone. He's better than everyone. Maybe. He's so good. He just has, there's not one bit of his game where I think he's weakened. Oh, yeah.

1:14:10Theo:All right. Especially not as Pans. Marich. Okay. He is a pretty tall guy.

1:14:14Reev:25 million as well. And he's only 16.

1:14:18Theo:I hear him. I've got a back four of Timber, obviously Arsenal, Van Dijk, Romero, and then Cucurello.

1:14:24Reev:I don't agree with that one bit. Why? Well, we'll find out soon, Theo. Van Dijk just has been a bit shocking this year.

1:14:31Lewis Bowden:I don't think he actually has. He's not been as bad as you're trying to make out. You'd still put him in. It's Van Dijk. I don't know. This is Earl and Brawl Harland. Who's your full back? Left back.

1:14:40Theo:Kukurela. This is my left back. Midfield three. Pretty fucking easy, this one. Caicedo, Rice and Bruno Fernandes. And then front three. He's having a rough patch, but obviously he's still one of the best players in the history. Salah, Harland and Kunja. I thought you were going to say, he suck. No. Kunja as well. I've got to have a left winger he's a better he's just Mateus Kuni man no I can't I couldn't have that I've got Haaland and Donovan I think I it's a little bit Brown Haaland we're talking about you can only get two a team mate you can only get two a team do you want to go or do you want me to go wait

1:15:13Reev:you've got Salah in yeah you have to you don't have to you do you don't have to you're about to find out what you do have to do which is this shit have I only got one Liverpool player that's fair oh no shit okay I've fucked my but whatever I'll continue you. In goal, I went a bit different. I'm playing a 3-4-3. Yeah, fullbacks were the tough one, weren't they? Yeah, I started playing the strength, which is centre-backs in this selection. Donnarumma in goal from Man City. And then a back three, centre-backs of Van Dijk, Romero, Gabriel. I don't know why I stood. I was gagging on it. Then, in midfield, we're going to go Rice and Caicedo.

1:15:55Palmer and Bruno. it's going to go naughty more than there or the wellness just like four cent at mid no no no what we're doing is Kaise three diamonds yeah yeah you've got three here and then you've got a square four in front of them no yeah no literally we're going to play narrow but aggressive but also no but Palmer we're giving him a free Roman role he's everywhere on the pitch wherever you want to go you can go do you know why because we can cover you with Rice and Kaiseido and then Bruno Fernandes is going to be the feeder he's going to feed Palmer's runs You've got no whiff on the left then.

1:16:27Theo:No, no. Palmer's going to give whiff. Not having it from you, sir. No. This is where you're on. What do you mean not having it from me? That's a well-balanced team. I've got four in the back. You've got Salah. You're about to see the whiff. Because we have some wide forwards on this side. Watch him cook. We're going to play Mbwemo on the right. Yeah, I love that shout, brother. He's going to come narrow and wide. Yeah, I like it. Parlin in the middle. Yeah. We're going to play Kudus on the left. No. Yeah. No. Cutting inside. No. He's played on the left many times. Cutting inside would be where he plays currently.

1:16:53Theo:He's a right winger, left footed. So what he's doing is crossing it in. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That is fucking filth. Something different. Playing to the strengths of this team, which is three naughty centre-backs, some creative fucking bastards in the middle. You're a kid in his left wing. Yeah, he's played left wing before. Horrendously unbalanced whatsoever. My team beat yours. No, it doesn't. Yes, it does. What are we doing here, man? You've got Salah, who's 45 years old, mate. In a team like that, he'd perform. You've got four under-forming players. What do you mean team like that? He's playing in one of the best teams in the world right now.

1:17:26Theo:I think Donnarumma is the headline. Donnarumma. Man City. He's the captain. Okay. I think team's the best.

1:17:33Lewis Bowden:Do you want to go, Tom? What's the lie? I'll go. Go on then. Alisson, James, Van Dijk, Gabriel, Spence, Caicedo, Rice, Bruno Fernandes, and Buemo, Haaland, Oku. Very interesting, Tom. it's quite good but lacks that fun fun flair that I'll go wait who's your midfield three sorry Kaisado Rice and Bruno Fernandes Fernandes yeah I mean yeah I had to get a Spurs player in because somewhere yeah you literally so I thought that's the sacrifice yeah sacrifice yourself I could have put Gakpo on the left and said kudos I didn't know I had another Liverpool player it's okay man

1:18:08Reev:alright in goal I've got are you going to cry in goal I've got Alisson right back I've got James I've got Van de Ven Gabriel and DJ Ed Spence you've got two Spurs players

1:18:20Lewis Bowden:at the back

1:18:20Reev:you've just conceded four goals Van Der Ven's one of the best centre-backs in the league you're choosing him over Romero you've chosen two Spurs players you've chosen two Spurs players you've chosen him over Romero you were saying how shit they were earlier and he chose two I had to no you didn't have to

1:18:36Theo:he said he's the worst

1:18:37Reev:my left back was either DJ Ed Spence or Dorgo no you haven't listened to the rest of my team though I've only got certain level of players Oh, he doesn't matter. He's already shit. You're going to concede five goals, man. How's that shit? You've just... You've all got Romero at centre-half. Romero's the better choice, by the way. Romero's the better choice out of Van Der Ben. You went for the worst centre-half. No way, Van Der Ben's better. No, he's not. He really, really is. That is crazy. I think every Tottenham fan will be laughing at you right now. You've got him in your team. I'm not moaning.

1:19:08Reev:You've got two Spurs players.

1:19:10Lewis Bowden:All you have to do is put one.

1:19:11Reev:Van Der Ben is a very good centre-half.

1:19:13Theo:We're not saying he's a good centre-half. Because you've only picked one player from the remaining five,

1:19:17Lewis Bowden:which is a crazy decision. I reckon he's gone one Liverpool player. I have. Of course. The champions, mate.

1:19:25Reev:They're fucking shit, mate. Oh, and Spurs are great. Well, DJ Ed Spence is a better full-back than any of the Liverpool full-backs. I agree. And Van Der Ven's played better than any of the Liverpool centre-halves. That's why you put the Coupe de Mello on. If you want a full-back... I've got two Chelsea players already. I've got Rhys James and Kaiseido. Right. So Boz lie in the 10. Front three, Mbwemo, Haaland, Doku. So haven't I got Parma? No, Bruno. No, Parma or Bruno. No, because I got Rhys James and I got Caicedo. You haven't got the strongest points, Albi. You haven't got Parma. No, no, but you've used...

1:19:58Reev:You can't even go at me. You haven't got Parma. No, I haven't. Because he's got a strong full-back. I've got Rhys James and Caicedo. They're two best players. No, but you need to prioritise. What are the weakest... Parma's injured, mate. He's got a broken tongue.

1:20:08Theo:What's the weakest positions on this team? It's the full-backs. Why would you not pick Bruno Fernandes?

1:20:12Lewis Bowden:Because I've got... And you said you've got one Liverpool player

1:20:15Theo:and you've used it on Sir Boz like.

1:20:17Reev:You're acting like Sir Boz like some like... Yeah, he's good. Why have you not put Van Dijk in? Because I think Gabriel and Van de Ven have been better this season. Wait, wait. You think... Yeah, you've chosen Van de Ven or Van Dijk. Yeah, I have and I back it. Who's your goalie? Alisson. So you have got two Liverpool players? Yeah, so I can't go Van Dijk.

1:20:36Lewis Bowden:You're mental. You're mentally...

1:20:38Reev:One Man United player. I mean, that's not that bad, but... I know it's not. You said you had one Liverpool player? I forgot I said Alisson in goal. Jesus! He's like talking to a team. So if you think about it, if you think about who I've picked, there's a very good team. It's not a very good team. That's the worst team by far. You've chose the wrong Spurs centre-back. Kaisado, Raysa, Bosley, Haaland, Mbremodoku.

1:20:58Lewis Bowden:Your midfield and defence is really average.

1:21:00Reev:Yeah.

1:21:01Lewis Bowden:What? You could have had Bruno Fernandes in the 10. That's why he's better than Sir Bosley. Yeah, he is. He is, mate. What do you mean? I think you're trying to be... I think you're trying to be quirky. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You've tried to do the whole lot. No, we're not. Who's better?

1:21:15Reev:Who's a better 10? Brennan Fernandes. So we're right then. He's been playing in the eight though, Tom. But is he a better 10? Oh my God. He's a better 10.

1:21:24Lewis Bowden:For the team you're building. And then you picked the worst set up. You're going for the second best Spurs centre-up.

1:21:30Reev:I think that's pretty harsh there. Romero's better than Van Der Ven. I promise you, ask any Tom and Farnley say Romero. Romero can't score a goal dribbling through the entire... Oh, you're such a FIFA bandit. I haven't played FIFA in about five years I'm like you who plays foot champs every weekend you fucking nerd no I tried to play this weekend but I couldn't get it finished do you honestly think

1:21:50Theo:that Van Dijk is worse than both Romero and Van Leven this season yeah oh fuck off Theo you are fucking

1:21:58Reev:just isn't no he's just a really good one of the best centre backs in Prem history you're playing Van Dijk out of position I'm playing Van Leven out of position as well what who's playing Van Dijk out of position he's putting them right centre backs oh fuck

1:22:09Lewis Bowden:we're not playing that shit away. That's embarrassing, mate. Can he not play right centre half then? Has he not played that before alongside Trent? I know I just said that.

1:22:19Theo:You picked two lefts.

1:22:20Reev:I know I have. All right. I said that. That's why I had a go. You always fight for. You always constantly gammy-gamy-van-van. I fucking did the same to you, mate. Was that English? My front three,

1:22:28Lewis Bowden:I mean, Brembo-Harland-Dok who rinses you all. I've got the same front three and a better rest of the team. You could argue

1:22:36Reev:one position as Sir Boswell and Brembo-Harland-Dok and that is it. No. No. and centre-back position like we just said. But I can't go Van Dijk. You can go Romero. Yeah, you could have done. Bad defence, better.

1:22:46Lewis Bowden:No, he's not. I promise you. Look, in the comments, Spurs fans, who's better? We'll get a poll up as well. We'll do a poll.

1:22:52Reev:And I admit I have an agenda

1:22:53Lewis Bowden:against Romero, but it's not my fault. What's your agenda? Why have you got an agenda?

1:22:56Reev:Is Romero better than Van Dijk? Nasty footballer. I don't like him. Why? Because he's horrible. Why is he horrible? He's horrible.

1:23:02Lewis Bowden:No, I've understood. Constantly gets red-carded. He doesn't anymore, actually. Up until this season.

1:23:10Reev:Vandermen's taller and faster Yeah

1:23:12Theo:Yeah but all of these qualities You're saying You're admiring Granit Xhaka as well So the things Tall and fast No but the previous bits Now you're just Being pedantic Don't do that

1:23:22Reev:What are you talking about Why are you bringing up I don't get why you're bringing up Granit Xhaka Because the same things The same things you dislike in Romero Granit Xhaka is not It's not angry and horrible He has been Yeah but he's been That's the kind of dog That he has in He's actually well focused And smart You're so much better off You're so much better off admitting that you messed up on that. Never. I'll die on this hill. Van Der Ven's better than Romero. Smite him down. He is. Move it on. And I think the comments will back me as well. No, they won't. Also, why is that always your parameter?

1:23:50Reev:Because you've literally just said, oh, the comments are going to fucking get me. No, I was asking Spurs fans.

1:23:55Lewis Bowden:I said Spurs fans. Spurs fans are going back on this one. Every Spurs fan will see Romero. You've just said

1:24:00Reev:the exact same thing. Spurs fans though,

1:24:03Lewis Bowden:specifically Spurs fans.

1:24:05Reev:Specifically Spurs fans, you back me that Van Der Ven is better than Romero. They won't. They're not, mate. They won't. They really won't.

1:24:10Theo:You've seen him dunk on a team in the Champions League and taken that way too far. Yeah. No, I haven't. I think Van Der Benz is a very good centre-half.

1:24:16Reev:No one's denying that. It's just a good centre-half. I think Romero is one of the most overrated centre-halves in the league. You don't watch football. Disagree. You've just made it worse. He's one of the most overrated centre-backs in the league.

1:24:26Lewis Bowden:Yeah. You're making it worse now. I'm not. He's probably underrated, Romero. How's he overrated? He's probably fourth best in the league, mate. I don't think he's as good as everyone thinks.

1:24:34Reev:therefore he's overrated okay but that's like says a lot of words without saying it but what qualities

1:24:38Lewis Bowden:do you think do people overrate in him he can barely move he's a stiff that's so not true he's actually very mobile he's short he's not he's about 6 '1 6 '2

1:24:49Theo:he's technically very good he can barely move I don't know what that means he's the opposite of a stiff his game is raised

1:24:54Reev:by playing with Van Der Ven that doesn't make any sense

1:24:57Theo:that's so incorrect why? I think so no you you say words

1:25:02Lewis Bowden:and you can't back them up When Van Der Ven was injured last year,

1:25:06Reev:when she was injured for a long time, Romero's game dropped off a cliff. They fucking went to 17th in the league. Romero also missed a lot of games for them.

1:25:12Lewis Bowden:When those two play together, they're way better. They've been worse as well. When Romero's missing, Spurs are terrible.

1:25:18Theo:When it's been Dancer and Van Der Ven, they've been dunked on every week. When you put Dancer in the middle of them, he can't play anything. No, he played on the right for them on Sunday. Dancer was in the middle of Romero and Van Der Ven. I don't think that's true.

1:25:30Lewis Bowden:But you said Romero was stiff. Danso was in the middle of them You said Romero was stiff He's a stiff idiot He's not stiff He's the opposite He's actually quite a mobile centre half Stiff idiot You can't just say words Yeah, Romero was in the middle

1:25:44Theo:So the things you said he was overrated on was I knew that was true You said he was overrated on his movement and his height So people overrate his height Those are the two reasons you give Which are also Which are also

1:25:54Lewis Bowden:Overrated height No, but Lewis, they're counterproductive Because he's saying he's smaller So you're more agile Usually when you're smaller you're more agile Oh, so which one is it? I'm looking at Aubrey at Haye. He's short and stiff. No, that man. It's actually rare to see that. Yeah. It's weird, isn't it? It is. It's almost like it's not true. I know. Anyway, thanks for tuning in, guys. I had some ball knowledge from Theo Baker, who doesn't watch football.

1:26:16Reev:I watched the game yesterday. Are you fucking shit?

1:26:18Lewis Bowden:You didn't even know where he was playing.

1:26:19Theo:You just brought up his position. You went on the right-hand side. You think Romero had a good game yesterday? No, but you didn't even know where he was playing. I'll just ask you a question.

1:26:28Reev:In regards to where Romero is, how many defenders do you think are better than him in the league are you asking me to name defenders that way no just but yeah I'm going to have to list are you feeling yeah list them yeah list them go on I think that's good fun

1:26:40Lewis Bowden:I'm going to have some players and see if they're better yeah go on man do that do that do that alright stay silent until you by the way by the way he doesn't he doesn't he doesn't even know Romero's qualities so what's the point of these he's a short stiff idiot he's not what is Romero

1:26:54Reev:he's left footed and he's right footed you fucking idiot

1:26:57Lewis Bowden:okay so stay silent until there's somebody worse than Romero So we're going to start off. Gabriel. Virgil van Dijk. William Saliba. Ruben Diaz. Mark Gehi. I'm going to leave that one. Kanati.

1:27:22Van de Ven.

1:27:26Lewis Bowden:Esri Concer. this is just an agenda at this point Vardyol Van Hecke Brighton Matthias Delecht who did he say? Delecht Alderette Sunderland fuck off this is pointless Nathan Collins he's trying to farm a cliff Nathan Fonnes

1:27:54Reev:no way he's trying to farm a cliff well done bud yeah that's he's fucking shit I'm not done that hell you ain't got a clue
