1:31Two best friends, both alike in dignity. Nurturing phantoms and courting the muse. The hag divines when something must die. Yes, that was Poogh. But this is huge. The ego loves to seek. But never to find. It was Berlant and Novak the whole time. All right, all right, hello, I love you. I wish you weren't pixelated, you know? Well, yeah, me fucking too. And also just all I see right now in the mirror is, and I love this sweatshirt and I love this sort of, you know, this collar that it has, right? Actually, it's a huge issue. Commandeered as we're cleaning out Chris's closet. I'm like, well, that looks good on me actually.

2:09Finding more? You know, and then like adding shit. Point is, hello. Hi. It's morning. Oh, it's morning poog. And I look like right now, all I see is a football coach. Okay. Who's like, all right, boys, I'm downstairs in the Holiday Inn where we're staying. Yeah. It's actually not a holiday and I can't explain what I feel this sports team is. I'm up. I'm using a product from the 80s. Okay. It's giving off a scent, but I'm freshly showered. My hair is wet and combed. I'm a man. So are you freshly showered though? i'm proud of my boys what are you freshly showered as that man yes no but right now oh in life yeah yeah this is wet hair yeah i thought so as usual i was like you know from the locker room morning shower oh uh oh well i had one in the middle of the night so your hair is what fucking 4 a.m i wake up why probably because i didn't have a full meal from a 4 a.m shower no i had a second one when i woke up the only chance at pulling it together for for this recording was getting the shower with guess what's in my mug cocoa powder and coffee and soy milk i ran out of my mocha aminos but last night i want i want some i want them i ordered more went through a thing where i where i go oh we got to make sure my affiliate code because i get points when i send it to a friend and they get 20 off which uh this is right and then i panic and i go oh it should be in the hack shop with my affiliate code and then i go i go oh shit i go what am i selling fucking supplements and I call myself a fucking artist.

3:46Jesus, get your fucking shit together, lady. I mean, the fact that affiliate code would even be in my fucking vocabulary is a humiliation. I grew up in fucking poetry, okay? It's embarrassing. Anyway, so then I and I sent it to Kayla going, let's just make sure my affiliate and Kate and I can get some whatever, you know, free ones or whatever and because it adds up, the freebies, and then panic. No, pull it, pull it. No, no. I don't want it saying, like, you're on Jacqueline's page of hell. That is so funny. Your friend Jacqueline, your affiliate queen. Okay. Anyway, but I had to tell Chris, I go, this is weighing on me.

4:29I've been trying to order more perfect aminos for days because, you know, my one joy is my mocha, right? And so last night I go, do you remember Little Women? Jo, you're one beauty. Of course. Her hair, when she cut it. And, of course, Winona Ryder. Pearson Dunce, a little woman, my God. Yeah. Yes. Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Also, also, cool. They're like, say, call her pigeon or something. She's like, oh, oh. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. So, so, so, so take me back to this. This will be done soon. Okay. But Perfect Caminos. Okay. You're one joy. I got to order them. But anytime I go to order them, what does that involve?

5:06The phone, the computer, obviously, instant distractions. So, I say last night to Chris. We're watching some dumb ass movie. Okay. And I go, the movie is going to be on a background to pull me through time. Right. So to keep me in motion. So I go, all right, Chris, I need help. You need to let me focus. I'm going to order my perfect aminos now. Don't let me not. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. I sit down right next to him with my computer. I open my computer. Yep. I start doing something else because the text comes in. Okay. Instantly. Then I go to perfect amino site and I see something on there that leads me to quickly want to do a little research.

5:38Okay. Then I start doubting perfect amino. right then i then i go no no i'm re i'm reaffirmed okay i want i see a conversation unfold among redditors that you know quickly just devolves into why is one person going it's junk no and then this other person going you know why do you think just yelling out the word junk is any more research to claim than you know it works you know it's kind of interesting and and so i'm appreciative then and i go back and i go chris you're not on me enough because i've already left it okay anyway get on there there's a pumpkin spice offering for fall i go what okay i go now i've never been a perfect amino pumpkin spice no no no but i almost go should i yeah so it's kind of interesting well well i almost did as well by which i mean it's almost time to lock in peppermint by the way oh it is it sure is okay so so i go i go it's not pumpkin spice is not what i want you know the whole you know i mean good for starbucks with the whole it's pumpkin spice season yeah they were smart good for them but i prefer the holiday drinks okay okay i prefer ginger bread um yeah i'm a sicko who's enjoyed an eggnog oh oh it's an eggnog whoa okay yeah um caffeinated the nog steve patel says elf come okay

7:05is it haven't eaten the eggnog the eggnog from um starbucks star babies it's like a it's like it's like a it's like a flavor added okay it's probably a syrup and a milk or something okay oh it's a pump i think it might it's possible that it's like it's like they're pouring an eggnog to kind of milk in there but i it's got to be a pump so i go pumpkin spice i go it's not the thrill of a of a seasonal offering yeah got me and i go maybe it could be fun right to kind of mark time with this pumpkin spice flavor give it a shot yeah i i spend a month right now with my new pumpkin being pumped guys see how it feels see how it feels pumpkin mornings i could sit on a gourd outside okay one of those you know those um cinderella ones that are like fat of course and like they are the cinderella i saw i saw pumpkin at the farmer's market i go oh this one's nice 80 bucks i go guys oh i i know i like that's the feeling of a dump like banging on them like a drum those empty light light cinderella ones anyway imagine sitting on there drinking it i don't know so i went for it then i ordered my mocha as a backup had to put the order through twice to use my points so it's basically free you heard me wow here's where she's gonna perk up oh oh no i'm listening i'm going no but no i meant perk up going like like can i get can i get some yeah free well i'll just talk about the mocha now i want to try the mocha i'm already regretting the pumpkin spice going yeah i mean but i can't regret no no i think it's probably going to be a blast you'll be excited all right that's all i've got folks well my morning in my morning burst my morning to the last three nights sleep disturbed severely due to an animal scratching let's just take a minute before you go ahead yeah i knew i go because first of all you're never late and so you've built up infinite goodwill so it just doesn't fucking matter yeah right you can be late for the rest of time and you're covered so congrats wow thank you you've really racked you've racked up perfect camino points wow thank you okay so so it just made me laugh because i see from far away like i could see the text coming in yeah and i see like is 940 okay i messed up and just opened my eyes and before i like could see i could see there was another text and i go i got this one's gonna be like a reason yeah yeah totally even though you don't need one yeah totally no well because i was awake because was awake bc of an animal in floor yeah okay so just everyone was awake because i had more info okay so okay so three nights ago wake up in the late night kind of near the base of the bed yeah by like where the ac unit is scratching scratching scratching scratching like her so much so and it's like the shocking thing of night where i'm like is it in the closet like it sounds so there it sounds so present oh and i'm like yeah is it in the attic and it's about to break through it was shocking naomi gets that it's on the floor we realize okay no it's like below the house naomi gets up and like with all their might stomps like bang bang bang bang bang like loud i'm sorry i'm sorry that's that's yeah to like to try to get it to run it was literally bang bang bang silent rest of the night wow so then second night same fucking what was the sound scurrying wait no no like Scratching what?

10:41Scratching, like gradual, kind of like this kind of thing.

10:46Like digging or something. When you can hear their exact nails. Oh, that's not bad. When you can just hear their tiny nails. Well, at least I go, I don't think it's a rat. Because I don't think a rat responds to banging. I don't think a rat's like, okay, I'll be quiet, neighbor. A city rat says, this is life in the city. Yeah, exactly. So bang, bang, bang, it stops. Second night, same fucking thing like clockwork. Scratch, scratch, scratch. Naomi gets up bang bang bang bang bang goes to sleep last night scratch scratch scratch bang bang bang bang bang it was like and then you know domestic bliss little scenes like it was just saying you know the reality of couplehood it's just marvelous and then a couple hours later scratch scratch scratch in the hallway so they go and investigate the whole thing but it really kept us up and I had already been awake it was just like not a good night's sleep and they had it even worse than I did.

11:39And anyway, so then I set my alarm at 8.30 and I thought I'll probably be up naturally before, but you've got morning poo, just set the alarm. The classic 8.30, what? No, feels like the most impossible thing in the world. It can't be right. Like it can't be right. It can't be, so I don't even hit snooze. What? I don't even hit snooze, which is shocking. I just go off because I go, I don't need 10 minutes. I need like half an hour. I'm like, fuck it. I'll just wake up. But you know, it's a classic thing. You think when you hit. You thought you'd wake up naturally. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. That's true.

12:07my god and then and then it happened where i woke up naturally at 10 minutes to nine whatever it was like nine seven yeah it was like nine or whatever it was 15 minutes before recording oh god so here i am with my under eye patches i already called a animal trapper by the way what can they really do for you i just like it i actually at this hour right no i think more like to hide yeah it's more like hiding and then also it just feels good but i called the pet trapper man this morning so hopefully he'll be out pet trapper are you what i mean animal trapper yeah um but just scratched let me look at my weird uh my nose is i've developed something i call morning nose which is a complete oh yeah well i'll never forget i can't believe i've become one of these women complaining about morning puff no no it's true by the way maybe it's shark ninja Ethiopian feasts shark oh yeah every night moments yeah it's been a rampage the last couple days they accidentally sent us four um instead of two by which i mean i think i accidentally ordered four instead of two okay yeah cart was already loaded yeah yum jesus want you know classic jesus wants me to eat these in rapid succession before morning of course of course by the way shark ninja i saw has a new facial thing a new facial product i want oh oh we all saw didn't we all your listeners we were all served right yeah i want that and i actually reached out to shark ninja the other day just checking in to go hey because there was a funny experience where whatever point is we remember shout out shark ninja ninja so they've been very generous with us sure have oh why was i going up to shark ninja oh for fans because i am an outdoor this woman okay well it's perfect for fall i learned a fan hack okay what is it any smiling every user because i said it to her because she's working on her actually you'll probably want it too so get ready for this skeeters right skeeters now in los angeles so first of all number one thing you can do okay to keep them away genius put a fan on you yeah makes total sense fan on you or away from you, et cetera, et cetera.

14:27There's different models, okay, but disrupt that airflow. Next, are you ready? You want to kill thousands, all right, or, you know, 10, whatever. Let's just say you get a box fan. It's facing away, so it's sucking air from your side, you know. You put a screen, any kind of screen, you know, any screening, anything, whatever. I cut up a neighbor's, neighbor moved out. I found their magnetic screen door thing. they left it so I just cut that up threw it on the back of my fan mosquito flies by is pulled in and it's against the screen it can't fly away okay until you turn off the fan I guess if you really wanted when it time to go in at night you could just turn off the fan and let them fly away or you can do what let them die the folks on YouTube do you spray them you spray it with you know diluted rubbing alcohol spritz spritz spritz shake off the screen into the mouth of a bat and you know they're like isn't that amazing so anyway i rigged it up okay because i have writing to do you know and the outdoor i mean the fall by the way it's a rainy day in los angeles which is unbelievable to wake and i woke up to the pattering of the rain yeah my patio is is is struggling as a result because i tore the lip of it off and believing it was merely decorative tore the rentals i know existing trim and no it's not merely decorative the edges of my things are soaked oh shit but what do you mean the trim on the window no there's an awning on my patios awning out back okay got it and there's like trim kind of like like the fabric kind of hangs down over the end and I guess it was doing something I ripped it off and there's a sort of ripping ripping you know in my sofa restoration and ripping old shit away what wild and violent sorry I'm really just like monologuing but wild and violent rampage of throwing things out dragging furniture out yeah I know you said you were doing a Facebook marketplace and then going to offer up I can't just throw it away I don't feel it on first dibs they're selling it for$35k you know what I'm looking at mine has a little rust still should be worth$3k poog we got through poog something that I never used it's so sweet they send it to us make your own sprouts like a tray to grow your own sprouts I cannot believe you're saying this because that tray has been haunting me for two years and then I started using the tray for something else and then i'm pretty sure last night i put them in a pile of going these might have to go in the laundry room because the amount of self-acceptance last night while i was trying to clear shit out it's it sounds obvious like all great truths okay we are um doing a promo through November 6th.

18:14No, no, no, no, no. You're going to have access to certain things that you never thought you'd have access to. I'm not joking. So get on there now. I'm so excited. Happy anniversary. By the way, Kate, haven't missed a single freaking week. That's crazy. Come on over to Premium where the water is warm, where Christmas has an extra twinkle, and where there are certain things about to appear there that I'm just saying, get in now, because in a couple months there's going to be things where you're going to go, oh no, oh God, I should be there. Get in now. See you on Premium, where life makes sense again.

18:51And by the way, people are going, what's lock-in peppermint? And Kate's actually, I won't say misusing it, right? Okay. But a while back it was like talking about tradition and how we need to decide if peppermint is going to be something that we really tune into around Christmas time. Because if you lock it in, the tradition, then it will hold meaning and ever increasing meaning with every passing year, right? So I think we were saying, yeah, because I do love peppermint. Love the flavor. I love it. There were these King Leo sticks, these peppermint sticks that like we used to sometimes get around the holiday in this round tin.

19:25They were like thick, like kind of like a little half cigar, slightly smaller. And they were just this sort of peppermint stick, you know, like a candy cane, but the texture was better. My God, were they good. I'd pluck one out watching television Just dreaming of those again Point is, last night I was wildly throwing out tea Going Expired If I decide I don't even care If I decide I want a tea life Then every time I make that fucking decision Yeah, I'm going to have to buy new tea By the way, I had to get rid of a lot of tea I am done with the boxes You mean like the boxes with individual tea bags?

20:01And the other ones But yes, the boxes with individual tea bags I was jacked in there because of this fantasy of the day that I want tea that, you know, I'm going to be picking among my flavors. And then I go through periods where I go, tea is my life. Yeah, yeah. So I have to say, no, you have to pay the tax of you have to buy new tea. Totally. Every time you want tea. So that started like the sprouting. I had to consider. Remember, I was sprouting broccoli sprouts and eating them. It was like it was ecstasy. Okay. I don't know that I'm there right now. but sometimes once I clean up then I am there so the question is what am I throwing out to clean up what can stay who cares fall though the the the changing of the season and I do want to talk about your shark ninja desire okay we all wanted to hear that I'm sorry I'm and we are compiling a big Christmas wish list the poo Christmas oh yeah here we go Christmas wish list and we're sidebarring on some items we're not going to reveal them now but we've got oh we're not because we're going to do it all at once in what corner i think yeah i think we or i think we do i don't know we do something big um but this i want to talk about changing of the seasons how subtle and in los angeles it's subtle but last night go outside wind and cold full cold i gotta go inside it's too cold really unbelievable feeling you should get you know you don't have to go propane even though I know that you're no longer afraid of approaching pain here but the infrared is nice because it doesn't cook the air it warms up the furniture you know it's like panel no not not our light path leds yeah I don't know what you mean no I mean you need I mean you buy like like a um infrared patio heater like like I have this wasn't like I wasn't outside glows red struggling it was like i went outside and then no i just mean if you want to enjoy it in the evening because to me you know what you should do because you know i feel like you got the space there's not like a neighbor's overhang falling into your fire pit or something okay or one of those dumb ass glass circles with a fire you know i'm talking about the glass you could sit around a fire yeah there's like glass sorry i don't know why i said dumbass i'm gonna i'm gonna stop talking i'm not cute right now.

22:25I'm plowing ahead. It's like, shut it. All right. Everything's fine. I'll say one thing. The kind of joke of Los Angeles, but it's true, is that when it rains, people cancel and shut down. It's like people get so scared. It even happened to me. Right now, the rain's not even coming down, but Jacqueline, we were, oh, we're going to go do Tracy today. Now I'm like, is it safe? Of course it is. right like snow day kind of it's kind of snow day which is nice like um but but i just have to say so i had this feeling about so similar to locking and peppermint i have this feeling of i go october so thinking about the year right so suddenly the the here we go the the the the heat of los angeles and i and i and i was saying to naomi it's like me thinking i'm special i was like i'm really sensitive to the seasonal shift like like i could like feel like like a week and a half ago whatever i go it's different the light's different like just something changes and i go mentoring fall and i go thank god get me the fuck out of summer get me out of there no and i go so my birthday month's july right so july i always have something in my heart i go it's all about it

23:47like well just like i have a i have a kind of sweet spot a certain month certain sweet little month that happened to sort of well it chose me it chose to birth me it's like something like well my you're like well july of course i was like wait what like and I was like my birthday no I have I know no it's ridiculous I have like I'm like July and then like a child I was like but October so the year I go October's and then I go October November December is so exciting right because you got October you go season changing November December you got Christmas January kind of go February uh-oh March uh-oh April uh-oh May oh June hey July ah August and September yeah I was like I was like yes yes why wait and you do I'm sure I've asked this a million times, but you experience it as a circle in your mind usually?

24:40I know. I see a circle. Yeah. I just cannot. It's amazing how much my perception of the calendar affects my existence. And it is a fucking, it's clearly from the month calendars up in the like kindergarten classroom or whatever. So cute. Look what I bought. I paid out of pocket. What? I don't. Wait. I don't want it. didn't you try that last year and then you panicked that you'd like you were like oh because because doesn't that like kind of take away the peach fuzz as it's so what this is everyone this is a derma a derma flash derma planing won the new beauty 2023 award luxe plus i so what won it from who that's by the way that's the fucking question it's not a learn new beauty i go who but the point is you go their seal hasn't yet yeah yeah penetrated popular culture but if it's vogue i'm listening no but i yeah i heard so you know this was it you know you know i manage so well because they shave their faces right and i remember we talked about this i remember seeing years ago i remember seeing like an unfortunately that ain't it instagram post of i know jen kirkman shaving her face with like a bick like with like a razor and i go whoa and i go well she does look great her skin's great what's going on and then i went into a germ um uh siri how do you pronounce dermatologist yeah i went into a dermatologist office i think i got it i got say hey siri uh i went i went in sorry let's keep talking anyway now that you're here i went into derma the dermatologist and i got dermaplaning because they're like oh this is great and it's really nice like your makeup will lay really well on your face it's really nice to do before if you're shooting something whatever i went in and did it and i mourned my peach fuzz like they were like you look at all the peach fuzz and i was like heartbroken i remember for weeks you were like my peach fuzz like which like it just felt so sad like my peach fuzz that first came in in july yeah exactly like i have a sweet spot for a little something called peach yeah why because it's mine yeah exactly sorry look at me by the way oh the algorithm has got me so bad that i'm unconsciously massaging the sternocleidomastoid i have to massage my neck and i and i went if we don't i got a massage this weekend oh i researched hi-zoo last night deciding because we all know cape berlant famously shelled out for the hi-zoo neck massager yep yep yep so i started researching it last night what do you see oh and god damn it's expensive when it looks to be exactly like the same shit as you know the classic shiatsu yeah totally the brookstone the bed bath i used my hi-zoo today but i'm i'm committing to massage so there's a great and by the way a poog a poog fucking hag once got us a gift card to this place yolo footspa they got us a gift card Jacqueline this is like in 2021 and we never used it no which and if you're listening thank you so much we got to figure it out but inexpensive massage I got a 60 minute massage for 65 bucks oh it's a foot spa is that what you said yeah but it's a full body yeah no no no because I used to get yeah I used to get um like in New York always the foot spa I got the best you know massages in my life the ones where i'm on my stomach and my right leg is twisted across me and somehow touching the opposite wall okay yeah okay he would brutalize and it was so wonderful you know this this i have to say and i told you i go let me know if that's too much pressure it's not yeah at these other places i know swedish well because massage you go oh it's expensive like you know god love love of experience at the now but you're clocking in by the time you leave tip whatever out the door it's what 160 this was 65 joking it's like so much worse yeah no well i guess it depends where a hotel minimum like 235 minimum and they're always bad but this was so good and i go oh my god you have to get in house waiting in house masseuse waiting in a chair for whoever the fuck is coming in that day i just think there's something there's got to be something demoralizing i'm laughing because i'm laughing remembering i'm laughing during poo christmas tour when i when i went to whatever hotel it was and there was a woman in the room never forget remember when i went into the hotel and there was a woman there to walk to welcome you right oh right and then later there was something where i go yeah i also got the fruit plate or whatever there was something i ate the entire fruit plate with the macaroons the cheese all of it the dramatic irony right where the audience knows something that the character doesn't know yeah yeah where it's like and i'm not talking about just oh that's misinformation the yeah okay i'm talking about like they remember us they might remember that story well whereas we've forgotten it yes yes of course it's amazing they're shouting they're shouting in the car story that changed their life by the way every hag finds one other hag okay potential hag okay and and and and and we double okay chris goes he sees these girls he goes like we're like somewhere in minneapolis yeah girls in the coffee shop he's like you're telling me they don't listen poog like and then like and then like they obviously want to yeah totally they just don't know it for premium by the way a lot of video a lot of picks for premium premium you're about to feel while you're here because my god even the the free listener ad supported okay the support is light okay the ad sales this is not this is not a money maker okay so i just want the the people listening on the ad supportive feed premium is have i got video for them i had massage on my to-do list just checked it off i have stuff i gotta do let me tell you fuck i gotta go get blood work i'm scared see the fact i'm scared i don't want they're gonna take so many vials oh that's what you're scared of not results i want Once again, Kate, Hell Week is proposed by me.

31:33Let's pick it and choose it and love it. Wait, I'm about this. Because look, I've got blood work. I've got eye exam. I've got to get a new neurologist. And I do too. I can't wait till Jan. October 27th. That's the week I need. Yeah. I mean, if you think you can get in. I mean, blood work, sure. I'm just saying right now that the big stuff that's yearly, eye doctor, whatever, book the big guys, Hell Week. and you know it's a good opportunity to make some choice i i'm i'm looking for a doctor um make some choices uh don't give it all over to amazon uh yeah okay what do you mean give it all over pick up pick doctors just just i don't know but my point oh i don't remember why i said that phrase but we we figure it out we figure out the ideal location we try to get it condensed okay we do we do a like a scheduling bonanza i love it where we're wildly calling and we're making it so that x number there are as many as possible actually we should just see which doctors we're capable of sharing as in not the same appointment but yeah back to back okay you go what do you have available on the afternoon of february that's good do you have a 2 p.m as well okay and they go we have two we have you know two to five okay well we'll be taking two and three Oh, I like that.

32:53That's good. Okay. Then we call the other one and go, okay, we're looking for a three and a two. What do you got? Yeah. Okay. We work it out. And then we look at these locations. Big celebratory dinner. I know. Right. I forgot. I forgot. We planned this before and you went right to celebratory dinner, whereas I need reward before, during. Okay. Okay. So I'm going and we're getting a special coffee over at this place. Okay. That's fun. By the doctors. Oh, did you know there's a ladies council? The way is special coffee. We can go walk through. I know. anything that there's a drink we're getting getting getting handed a drink okay ordering something having it walking away it living with you i mean the way that it can live with you versus like i don't know if you went and got a wrap right no drink like a wrap like what are you gonna just like walk like i'll hold that same coffee till it's dead you know like i'll sometimes hold it with me for hours i know i know we've heard it before you're safe people like it uh-huh okay but kind of i mean there's nothing wrong with that feeling the rattling the rattling of the ice is really what it's about for me that sound a beautiful sound the rattling of the ice and this is why i go so nuts and say can i get more ice because you love the rattle it's your rattle it's not your blanket honey it's your rattle

34:08i was laughing to myself thinking about our podcast yesterday on my walk all right give it to me give it to me i feel this is making me laugh there's nothing to say it's a clip fill i was just walking oh really no i was on the walk and i was like we have a podcast that's kind of it there's nothing there's really nothing okay wait wait let me see if i have anything but shark shark's skincare device oh you know what it is it's like a hydrofacial or something at home yeah you suck it out and then but there's a cooling thing there's a cooling and a heat thing right Oh, fuck my cunt. I just realized a new thing I bought.

34:43I purchased out of pocket for Therabody wand. I haven't used it yet. Wait, I can't believe this. I like Googled that shit this morning. I bought it. First of all, you should never be purchasing from Theragun. Would you like to know why? It's not Theragun though. Oh, it's not? Therabody? I don't think it's... No. No, no. It's the same brand. Oh my god. I'm such an idiot. It's gotta be. Oh, hang on. No, I think it's not. It's gotta be. Is that what it is? Face tool. Here it is. Yeah, Therabody. Sorry, I just need to cool off. So the cooling panels on this. How could I be so stupid? Of course it's the same.

35:15I bought it,$170. Jesus, Kate. So the reason that I say this is because early Poog. Oh, they were, honey, they delivered. Was it episode two? I'm saying we delivered, okay? I think it was episode two. One of the first couple episodes was us with the Theragun. Oh, yeah. Exploring the Theragun live. Of course. It was a full, you know, QVC of Theragun exploration. And so to me, I go, TheraFace? Yeah, I'm going to need one of those and one for my mother, okay? Speaking of mothers, guess who? My mother is obsessed with Mae Lindstrom, which is like perfect for her. It's like the brand that just perfectly.

35:57Well, that makes sense. Sensuality of the. And it's so beautiful. The smells, the scents. I spritzed you in the locker room and you premium hags might have seen the video Jacqueline decanted Jasmine Garden into a portable spritz heinous plastic look who got her light phone set up well I'm starting to I'm going to have to download the GPS thing because if I'm going to use it I need GPS but you got your SIM card in there everything oh no no no that reminds me what is it Mint Mobile so this is hysterical because Mint Mobile I think is an advertiser is going to be an advertiser right yeah and and we were like oh my god wait yes and we were like wait we do we get a free one yes okay so then we can use that plan that reminds me you gotta beg for mint mobile i mean i mean we gotta reach out no i mean we gotta say hey where is it um oh she's frozen no that was physical frozen she's back you know yeah really no there's no way oh no it was me look was it like this look it was yeah i saw a text and i was reading it do you think by the way by the way by the way by the way by the way today's a huge day oh my god i forgot why is it a huge day jacklyn dinner is locked in for tonight couple's dinner double date couple of adults it in me and chris me and chris locked it in he's the way he's the way to the calendar because he's able to tolerate the the concept of time well by the way because i go when are we getting dinner what the fuck and i'm like yeah well he goes right now let's take out the phone oh my god yeah that's so him and we locked the day in we're going to gracias madre by the way i actually to to naomi i go do we reschedule we're gonna have to sit inside because i love the patio okay i woke thinking the same thing wow going the patio now there are some covered areas i'm just imagining the rain falling all around us while we remain covered wait there are i mean i mean there's like on the edge isn't it covered because like but not to the point i think it's like if it's raining you're not outside there i don't think so it's a serious question that we need to consider briefly okay okay right briefly and calmly so here so by the way i'm all about a calm decision what are our options cape berlin all about calm decision what are our options right well i'll tell you right now because it doesn't mean we couldn't do madre you know i'll be gone next week but you know what i'm saying it doesn't mean we couldn't do madre in two weeks right i know in a sunny night you know what I mean no trust me I I listen to me honey I go I go do we reschedule Madre because and there's always I said I said that to Naomi I go do we reschedule and they go no because it'll never happen or you know you know you know how it goes yeah you start moving and then things pop up but I'm I was going and I think I know your answer but is there another restaurant we could tolerate another restaurant of course now of course I understand the fixation on madre it's fucking delicious i know i really want madre that's the thing i understand that you're not probably in the mood for tempeh by the way it has to happen tonight well it's happening tonight i'm just saying no because by the way i wish suen if suen were in la if there were a suen that had a cocktail menu can you imagine where is that there is a there's a desire i continue to be furious okay what like there's a there's a there's a gap there's a lack okay it's time folks do we have to open this i know i know where is we're in los angeles i know ostensibly the the health food capital right right oh those people in los angeles all i want is their kale yeah and it's like where is the macrobiotic restaurant with a well also you know what it would conjure sex in the city in 1999 like a like a hot spot like um yeah where samantha goes on a date with that guy who want who's vegan and wants health food right and she's like doing wheatgrass shots and she's like yeah to make his cum taste good oh right right right right because he has funky spunk as they say oh right right yeah am i cross am i crossing episodes no i don't think so she pitches they go to a healthy restaurant the point is right where is the where is the fun late night cocktails at the table macrobiotic kabocha squash steamed thank you restaurant okay and by the way again i'm trying to say it doesn't have to i mean look i i want that restaurant it can you can have the sort of greasy vegan shit on there too like you can have the like like a lot of restaurants whatever the hell yeah and it can be that thing like the fancy restaurant that brings you know like the metal cup the metal you know the metal cup of like mcdonald's looking french fries they could mix it up i don't know it's los angeles i mean jesus it's weird it's like a holdover it's very it's very odd i agree it makes no sense someone needs to step the fuck up agreed there was a really good cocktail at this place in hudson that i really enjoyed it was called can't remember i'll have to pull it but it was like a very nice kind of green juice-esque cocktail I love a green cocktail Okay well listen Listen can't wait for next week When we find out how dinner went I'm really excited We should just do a whole episode Look if we're inside at Gracias it's fine We're gonna be fine We'd probably love that restaurant if there was no patio Crazy idea let's just say the rain holds at one point Yeah We say to Gracias and by the way we say we're proning On our Celebrated podcast okay maybe we should actually write an email or dm today point is if there is a break in the rain we run out we go can we have one little post post dinner cocktail out there well guess what or get or guess what i love that naami and i had unbelievable shout out to holy basil in atwater village unbelievable fucking meal holy basil and then we go across the street to bar sinisky which is i love him which i'm really laying down roots at okay had for dessert and a cocktail so imagine the romance to have it to no no that you get you get a two restaurant experience they're there and bread pudding isn't what i usually want the bar sinisky bread pudding will have you on all fours and i asked them to make me cure royale it's literally not on the menu oh this was incredible i get a cure royale and they it's not on the menu but they figure it out it's delicious and then i go we'll split one we were sorry do you want one do i want to classic a Caperland splitting cocktail.

42:24I know, one for the table. No, but listen to this. I know you think it's genius. They split it into two glasses, Jacqueline. Okay, fair enough. No, but I wasn't expecting that. No, that's great. And I go, oh my God. I go, I wasn't suggesting that I thought that you should split it between two glasses. That would be insane. She goes, no. On a little nightcap split cocktail. That's gorgeous. I was like, damn, that's quality. Sounds great. Okay, we got to go. I can't wait to see you tonight. I love you. I love you. Everyone stay tuned for the begging, that Christmas is coming early this year. It's coming.

42:56All right. Love you. Okay. I love you.

43:23you

It’s raining in LA—a snow day—and the hags are back to Morning Poog. Jacqueline channels a football coach while Kate recovers from an animal in the floor. They delight at the emerging seasonal offerings, if only for the sake of marking time. A poet shares an affiliate code. More than ordered arrives in a package. The unconscious massage of the sternocleidomastoid. A scheduling bonanza, the two-restaurant experience and splitting a cocktail. Does fear of the blood draw stem from the process or the results?
