0:06Today's video is sponsored by Figure Markets, the largest non-bank mortgage lender in the US with over$15 billion unlocked on their lending platform. They've just lowered rates on their Bitcoin and ETH-backed loans even more to 8.91%, which is 9.999 % APR, improving their already industry-low fixed-rate 50 % LTV loans. They keep building as well, having also just launched decentralized MPC Custody, the only place to get that amongst the major loan providers, and removed interest deferral fees entirely. What is MPC Decentralized Custody, you might ask? Well, it's a Bitcoin or ETH on-chain wallet with multiple key shards to protect you from a single-entity custody failure.

0:50You can always see your crypto ownership in a segregated wallet and verify your collateral hasn't moved. Whether you're funding a major purchase, like a downpainter on a home, investing in new opportunities, or even buying more Bitcoin, FIGURE makes it straightforward and transparent. 1:34market recap in a crisp few minutes packed with data and key facts. For the thoughts of the real Raoul, tune into his broadcast today. Now here's what's on investors' minds. Global stocks are mixed today after the Nasdaq and the S &P 500 hit record highs on Monday around optimism about a Fed rate cut next week. The FedWatch tool from the CME group indicates it's a certainty, with 88 % analysts expecting the Fed to slash 25 basis points, while 12 % think it might even go with a 50 basis point cut. The dollar fell to a seven-week low and gold hit yet another high, at nearly$3 ,600. Robinhood was one of the best performers on Monday after the announcement that its stock would be included in the S &P 500 on September 22nd.

2:23However, microstrategy was down after it was snubbed, despite filling the eligibility criteria for the first time. Looking at the biggest movers today, shares of Anglo-American and tech resources have surged after the miners said they agreed to merge in a deal worth$50 billion. That's just one of a slew of similar agreements today as Novartis is to acquire Tourmaline Bayo and Monty de Pache has secured enough shares to take over Mediobanker. In Europe, political instability is affecting financial sentiment as the French Parliament said adieu to Prime Minister François Beirut in a no-confidence vote he had been expected to lose.

3:01He set to hand in his resignation to President Emmanuel Macron today after plans for significant budget cuts aimed at addressing national debt concerns had been widely rejected. Macron will have to find a fifth Prime Minister in less than two years. Adding to the country's woes, industrial production declined in July, although less than anticipated at minus 1.1%. Elsewhere, Japan's machine tool orders showed an unexpected increase of 8 % year-on-year in August despite declining domestic demand. The growth was primarily driven by foreign orders. In a significant move for the adoption of crypto, Nasdaq has asked the SEC to allow it to put stocks on the blockchain.

3:43It's a similar move to what Jack Ma's AntDigital has reportedly been doing. Bloomberg cites sources who say the company has put some$8.4 billion worth of Chinese energy assets onto its Ant Chain blockchain to monitor the data. In terms of crypto prices, altcoins have done well today, particularly hyperliquid, which hit an all-time high. Inflation will be back in focus over the next two days. Tomorrow, we'll get the latest US wholesale prices, known as the PPI, and the Consumer Price Index, or CPI for short, on Thursday. As always, I'll keep you posted. Have a good rest of the day.
