They've just lowered rates on their Bitcoin and ETH-backed loans even more to 8.91%, which is 9.999 % APR, improving their already industry-low fixed-rate 50 % LTV loans. They keep building as well, having also just launched decentralized MPC Custody, the only place to get that amongst the major loan providers, and removed interest deferral fees entirely. What is MPC Decentralized Custody, you might ask? Well, it's a Bitcoin or ETH on-chain wallet with multiple key shards to protect you from a single-entity custody failure.

Europe is nursing one hell of a political hangover today, as nobody has a clue who's actually in charge in France at the moment. There are growing calls for President Emmanuel Macron to resign early after his fifth Prime Minister in two years stepped down after just 27 days in the post. Macron has asked Sébastien Le Corneau to give it another shot and hold last-ditch talks with other parties until Wednesday.
2:19In other words, a total shitshow. This uncertainty has dragged the euro lower as investors worry it could bring further downgrades from rating agencies of France's sovereign debt. In Germany, factory orders unexpectedly fell by 0.8 % month-on-month for August, missing expectations for a rise of 1.4%. This marks four consecutive months of declines, driven primarily by weaker demand across key sectors such as automotive manufacturing and pharmaceuticals. This will do little to ease concerns about the broader economic recovery in Germany and Europe as a whole. Meanwhile, Japan's stock markets have hit new highs, riding on hopes the new leadership of Sanai Takeichi will revive Abenomics policies, which favour monetary easing and increased public spending.
3:08In terms of the latest data supporting that kind of policy, the picture is mixed. Household spending increased significantly more than expected in August, marking the fourth consecutive month of growth. However, the Coincident Index, which measures current economic activity, fell to its lowest in 1.5 years. The yen weakened further against the dollar, hitting a two-month low. It should come as no surprise that all this political uncertainty – after all, I didn't even mention the ongoing US government shutdown – is music to Bitcoin and gold investors' ears. The yellow metal was within touching distance of$4 ,000 per ounce in overnight spot trading, while Bitcoin crossed$126 ,000 for the first time.
3:53Another cryptocurrency to hit an all-time high was BNB, as it hit$1 ,280. Coindesk reports data from Token Terminal shows the number of monthly active addresses on BNB chain surpassed Solana. BNB chain has also struck a partnership with Chainlink to bring official US economic data on-chain. In other news, the Wall Street Journal reports that Intercontinental Exchange, the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, is close to investing$2 billion in predictions market Polymarket. The deal, which could be finalized today, values Polymarket at$10 billion. In a fresh sign of adoption, Morgan Stanley's Global Investment Committee has said in a note that it supports its financial advisors and clients if they want to allocate up to 4 % of their portfolio in crypto.
4:44Last but not least, shares of Galaxy Digital are up after the institutional crypto investment firm unveiled its own retail offering under the Galaxy One brand. That's all I've got for you today. It's a busy day on Real Vision. We've got a presentation on how to value crypto projects by Chris Bullock, Tony Greer returns for a sit down with Ash, and Jamie Coutts takes questions from pro members. Enjoy and see you again tomorrow.
