1:07Happy Thanksgiving to our US members, to everyone else. Get back to work. Sorry for my bluntness, it's part jealousy for not having a day off. The bad news is that we're not feasting today. The good news is that on a normal day, we've got better food. Unless you're in the UK, of course, then you're screwed all year. Right, enough with the food insults. You're here to hear the news. After all, that's why we've cloned Raoul to create me. Palvatar. I'll get you up to speed on what's driving the markets today. If you're looking for the views of the real Raoul, check out his latest journeyman with Yat-Siu.

1:44We've also got a live MIT update from Julian Bittle for Alpha. And don't forget we're running Black Friday sales, our biggest of the year. Grab yourself a membership or a ticket to Crypto Gathering for up to 50 % off at realvision.com forward slash Black Friday. As ever, we're thankful for you being with us on this journey. Let's tuck in. We'll keep it short today, at least on the macro front. I don't want to be the one responsible for you burning the turkey. US stock markets are closed for a holiday, and tomorrow will reopen for half a day only, so naturally, volumes are much thinner than normal.

2:20Global stocks edged higher as the drumbeat of an upcoming Fed rate cut gets ever louder. The dollar is up on the day, but still set for its biggest weekly drop in four months. The pound has eased from its one-month high amidst lingering concerns about the UK's prospects. The finance minister presented a tax-raising budget yesterday aimed at shoring up the fiscal buffer amidst downgraded growth forecasts for the economy next year. The yen has strengthened slightly against the dollar, but the prospect of a Tokyo intervention to boost the national currency remained a possibility. Eurozone's industrial sentiment fell to 9.3 this month from a revised 8.5 in October, which was the best reading since July 2023.

3:05This indicates weakened production expectations among managers. Additionally, Eurozone consumer confidence remained stable at 14.2, reflecting persistent pessimism despite some improvements in services confidence. The Bank of Korea has kept its interest rates unchanged at 2.5 % as expected and signalled a potential end to the cutting regime in the near future, although some board members remain open to more. The hawkish turn pushed the December futures on three-year Treasury bonds down. It may be Thanksgiving, but crypto never stops. Bitcoin has climbed back to nearly$92 ,000 in morning European hours, erasing last week's flush and reigniting hopes for a Santa rally.

3:52Ether reclaimed the$3 ,000 threshold, and XRP ETFs from Grayscale and Franklin Templeton enjoyed a successful launch day. ARK Invest bought the biggest amount of Coinbase shares since August, worth$16.5 million. Coindesk reports total XRP assets across four ETFs have reached nearly$630 million, dollars, eclipsing Solana ETF's debut earlier this year. Meanwhile, Korean exchange Upbit has suspended withdrawals and deposits after detecting what it called an abnormal withdrawal incident involving Solana network tokens from a hot wallet operated by Upbit. The exchange has put the value of the transferred tokens at around 34 million dollars and said that all losses would be covered.

4:40There's also some regulatory news worth mentioning. Coindesk has flagged a new law in the United Arab Emirates that puts all of the digital asset space under its supervision, fully integrating it with traditional finance and cementing the country's role as a crypto hub. Australian lawmakers have introduced a new bill to regulate crypto firms under existing financial services regulation. Last but not least, predictions platform Polymarket has confirmed it's been given the green light by the CFTC to return to the US market. All right, gang, go stuff yourselves with pie, whether you're celebrating Thanksgiving or not.

5:18You've earned it. If you're looking to spend smart this Black Friday, check out our deals at realvision.com forward slash Black Friday. I'll see you again tomorrow.
